I want to go to the seaside with a girl. We can sit on the wall on the promenade and share ice cream (maybe I'll mockingly dab some on her nose just so i can kiss it off). And later, we'll play on the amusements and I'll beg her to win me a teddy bear from the grabby machines, and then spend the rest of the evening hugging it close to my chest. And as the sun sets, we can go for a walk on the sand, dancing in and out of the gentle waves. And I'll grab her hoodie sleeve and pull her into me, and kiss her, feeling her smiling against my lips.
the idea of attending a centuries old university full of mysteries where i meet a beautiful girl with a fascination for the paranormal who helps me uncover the ancient library with a secret entrance and discover the dark side of our school whilst we fall in love is THE dream.
She’s wonderful, she makes me happy, and I adore her.
In the past, I’ve been a little afraid of the word “love”. It seemed like such a large step. But it was so easy with her.
I think that says something about my relationship though. Our commitment to each other is easy, it’s exciting, but it’s a choice too.
It’s a choice, but it doesn’t feel like I’m making such huge changes. It’s just one step at a time, at our own pace. And that’s beautiful.
Find someone who will walk with you, take the steps with you, make the choices with you. And let yourself move at your own pace. Because the people in a relationship are the only ones who can determine that pace.
On June 1st of 2020 (pride month) there will be an operation known as Pridefall. There is so much information about this topic that it's almost hard to include all of it, so I'll explain what's going on briefly. Basically, people that are anti-lgbt are grouping together to spread horrible content online about LGBT+ people being raped, murdered, abused, ect. And other content that involves the Holocaust and people of color. But it's not just videos, memes, and shit posts. These people are also going to dox innocent and suspected (gay or not) people in hopes of harming them in real life. There are chat logs of people talking about creating fake profiles on dating apps to pose as a member of the LGBT+ community and killing, raping, and torturing them. We cannot allow this to happen, so spread the word as much as possible to let people be careful and to hopefully put a stop to this horrific act!
The first pride event were the Stonewall Riots in the late 60's to early 70's and was organized by black transwomen. It was an event where people of all backgrounds banded together against the justice system to have our voices be heard through the act of violence. And unfortunately that was one of the only ways to reach out to America and the world to let everyone know we are indeed people too. While pride these days is more calm and fun, we cannot forget our roots. We need to hold onto our roots to establish our dignity and freedom. Abolish the hatred, spread the love.
My plan is that each day of pride I will explain a different sexuality or gender identity that maybe often get stigmatized, misinformed about, or people just find confusing
Today I'm doing Asexual
Asexual houses a lot of variations of the same sexuality because people feel it to varying degrees.
It means you don't feel sexual attraction to people
People who are sexual believe sex isn't needed for a romantic relationship
People who are asexual can still have romantic partners, there just isn't any sex involved.
Some people who identify as asexual still may want sex, though it isn't a primary focus in the relationship
Asexual people can still have children.
Think of sex from and asexual persons point of view as any other activity, like painting, not everyone paints, some people paint a lot, some people make painting their job, some people never paint, and some people may only paint once or twice in their life.
Asexual people are not broken in any way, they are completely valid in the sexuality.
