He hates the way his insecurities blinds him and makes him think that you’ll leave him it’s just that every time you’re looking so happy without him it’s every time some other extra just makes you laugh until your stomach hurts or maybe when dunce face made a joke that had you laughing until you were shedding out tears it’s when they’re doing something he’s not doing. He can’t do it for you and he hates that.

Every time you assure him and assure him again and again he despises himself even more how selfish he can be to ask for reassurance over and over at this point he’s thinking that you’re staying with him because he needs you to lean on, like he needs you for your reassurance only.

he’s still sarcastic and mean as hell when you’re around but he almost never raises his voice or gets physical, he’s too busy keeping both his hands all over you

he’s super protective of you and has no problem showing anyone and everyone that you’re all his; normally keeps a hand in your back pocket or an arm around you when you two are out in public

he doesn’t sleep too well without you, so when the rest of the band walked onto the tour bus and saw you two cuddled up and KNOCKED out, the pictures they took circulated the internet for months

i like to think he hired kirishima to be security for you when he can’t be with you in person

he makes you watch shows from backstage so he can’t see you, if he can see you watching him perform he gets the worst stage fright LMFAOOO

sometimes he doesn’t play with a guitar pick on purpose so he can ask you to bandage up the little cuts on his hands from his guitar strings

everyone always knows what color your nails are at any given moment because he always paints his pinkies to match

i think he’d be good at a lot of instruments but guitar is just what he plays for the band; sometimes he’ll come on stage before the actual set with a fkn clarinet or some shit and everyone is like ??? bc he’s still SO GOOD at it

around your birthday, he’ll bring a couple empty cards with him to shows and have fans sign them for you to make sure you get lots of love and appreciation on your special day <3

he gets exhausted staying so positive and upbeat for the sake of his fan base, so ranting/shit talking with you is absolutely one of his favorite pastimes

and it’s SO FUNNY every time oh my god

he has the smartest mouth on the planet like sir where are you keeping all this sass ???

i think it’s easy to forget just how unhinged izuku is so hearing some of the stuff he says about people that get on his nerves never gets old LMFAOOO

he’s typically very nice and personable when you two are out in public and get approached by fans/paparazzi, but he is SO quick to snap on anybody who so much as looks at you the wrong way

90% of the fan base stopped trying to hit on him and they all started yelling at him to confess his very obvious crush (and bakugou’s nosy ass was definitely in all their mentions encouraging the chaos)

he really enjoys teaching you how to play the bass, gets so giddy and proud seeing you play :(

his favorite is to sit with you between his legs so he can wrap his arms around you while he shows you which strings to play

100% uses his status to take you on super exclusive dates (shoto is a material girl)

but not in a way that’s like condescending to anyone especially the staff for the places you guys visit

sometimes you’re like “shoto how much did it cost for all this??” or soemthing and he’s like “i’ll get the money back, i just want you to enjoy yourself” <33

sometimes you and the rest of the boys have to practice interviews with him because his blunt ass mouth has gotten him bad press a few times LMFAOOOO

like one time someone interviewing him asked how he felt about all the female attention he was getting and he goes “im getting attention from the hottest girl on the planet, that’s all i care about. have you seen (y/n)?” literally so adorable

he brings you up in every conversation without even realizing it

if you can’t make it to a show he’s talking to all the camera’s on him knowing you’ll see them after the show

Hi, this is the first set of head cannons I've ever done, so if there's anything wrong with them please let me know!

So this is what I think the these BNHA characters would be like as your best friend.

CW - One mention of depression, fluffiness galore

Characters in this include: Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugou, Eijirou Kirishima, and Denki Kaminari.

Izuku Midoriya

I feel like he would probably get on your nerves at first.

Like not Bakugou type of get on your nerves, but his insistent mumbling would probably be agitating.

That's why I feel that you would probably become friends during a project.

You two were partnered together (forcibly) for an English project.

When present mic informed you that you two were paired together, you weren't upset, but you weren't jumping up and down in your seat either.

Regardless you sat next to him in class and started your project.

You both decided that the project would go by quicker if you did it outside of class, so you met up in the library.

The project wasn't that long and the two of you finished it in a few hours.

Before you could speed walk back to your dorm, Midoriya asked if you wanted to go down to the café down the street the next day.

"I don't really know anything about you and I want to be your friend :)"

How could you possibly say no to that :( ???

also because he said it was his treat, but that's besides the point-

And then you find out that he's such a sweetheart, and so inspirational.

Okay now past the mush BS and onto how he'd be as your bestie.

I feel like he talks about you so much to the point where people think he has a crush on you.

He doesn't, he just thinks you're amazing and such an inspiring hero :(

I also firmly believe that he will send you voice messages in the middle of the night when his brain is awake.

Like you've learned to keep your phone on silent at night or else you'll wake up to pings over and over again.

Sends like ten on a slow day, on the regular, twenty to twenty-five

Most of the time sometimes they're about hero's, others times they're about something that just doesn't make sense.

Like Helen Keller (SHE DIDN'T EXIST AND I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL-)/hj

He will do anything for you, no matter how ridiculous.

Go get snacks with you at 1am because you're hungry? Let him put his shoes on

Order food for you if you're feeling anxious/non-verbal? What kinda sauce do you want with your tenders?

Come and bring you toilet paper directly after training? He's on his way.

(for my uterus havers) Go to the store at 5am because you're out of period products? What size do you need? Do you need snacks too? He can get those as well.

Take a bullet? Done and Done.

Over all, he's a really great friend to have.

But don't you fuck him over, because he'll forgive, but he will never forget

Katsuki Bakugou

This son of a bitch (who I'm totally not enamored with) would take a while to warm up to you.

I think you, him, and Kirishima, are a trio.

You and Kirishima being the only people he actually trusts a pain in his ass

Constantly bothering him

He can't stand the two of you

(which translates down to, he loves the both of you and would die for you)

Because he's not good with his words, his love languages are acts of service and quality time

So he cooks for you two.

If you're having a depressive episode he'll come into your dorm, and start picking up junk off of your floor

Mumbling something about how "this idiotic little shit can't even take care of themselves"

He makes it seem like him taking care of you is a burden on him

In reality, he's just worried :(

I hope you can read body language though.

Because yeah, most of the time when he tells you to fuck off and to get off of him when you're hugging he doesn't mean it.

And if you let go his scowl will deepen tenfold.

But sometimes he generally just doesn't like to be touched

And you need to learn how to read that, or he'll drop you so fast it'll make your head spin

Much like Deku, if he trusts you enough, he'll die for you

No seriously

It's actually kinda concerning

Make sure you check in on him every once in a while.

His mental health is shit I'm ngl

All in all, when he warms up to you, he's a great friend.

Eijirou Kirishima

THIS RAY OF SUNSHINE

OH MY GOD, I LOVE HIM SO MUCH

Anyways-

I feel like with this, you, him, and blasty wouldn't be a trio :(

His whole thing with you is,

"Yeah Bakugou's my best friend, but you're my best best friend :)"

HE IS SO SWEET

Not to the point where people assume you're dating when they meet you, but people do think you two should be together

Saying things like "you two would be so cute together :("

But you and him have discussed this and are just friends.

He still loves you though!

You two spar together all the time.

As he claims "It's beneficial! We get to spend time together, and better our combat skills" while flashing you that bright smile.

But he'd feel so bad if he hurt you badly in training, like if his skin accidentally cut you

Poor baby would shut down, the last thing he wanted was to hurt you

It doesn't matter what you tell him, he's gonna be upset for a few days.

Just reassure him that he's still manly, and all will be good in about a week.

I just know he is so clingy, in the best way possible

Physical touch is his thing, he hugs you every time he sees you!

Cuddles galore, it's amazing

But if it makes you uncomfortable, let him know, and he'll stop right away

He's such a good person, the manliest man ever

Denki Kaminari

Okay, you know how I said people don't assume you and Kirishima are dating.

Yeah, complete opposite with this guy.

Everyone thinks your dating

To the point where Aizawa separated your desks during the next semester.

You two are all over each other

Flirting back and forth with one another

Holding hands

All of it

Basically, the two of you are attached at the hip

You became friends at the beginning of the year

Y'know, when he was flirting with people and asking them out on dates?

Yeah, you were one of his victims

But you flirted back with him

The two of you went on a date, and realized that you weren't right for one another, and you'd be better off as friends

And after the awkward phase, you two were inseparable

He'll just walk up to you with a random pick-up line, and that's how your conversation starts

Now, your relationship isn't all flirting

You two still do things friends do

You hang out together, hype each other up for dates and shit

(not me projecting of me and my best friend's relationship)

And comfort each other when needed

I just KNOW for a fact that he will talk shit about people with you

Like if you both mutually hate/dislike this person, you'll have a ball talking shit about them

And when they do something stupid, you'll make eye contact and not say anything.

But as soon as you can, you pull out your phones and start talking the most shit

He's amazing your honor

Another fine day of Kaminari adhd hcs

- his waiting mode is paralysing, he ceases functioning a week before exciting events

- “at the party we should-“

“DENKI WILL U STOP TALKING ABOUT THE PARTY ALREADY”

- cannot focus if there is more than one person with him, his brain scatters immediately

- group study sessions don’t actually work for him, he needs one person to be interrogating him (calmly, not like Bakugou lol)

- when he can't articulate something he verbally keyboard smashes

- his room is held together by spot cleaning

- has a little crash whenever his meds wear off for the day and cries in the shower, then watches memes and is fine again

- one time he accidentally showed up to an event a month in advance and understandably found the venue empty. It said July 13th and he showed up on June 8th. He is so certain he read the event was on June 8th

- he regularly loses hope in studying, it feels pointless when he has to work so much harder than everyone else just for mediocre results

- he writes himself off as stupid before anyone else can and it hurts how unquestioningly everyone believes it

notes: i really love these three boys.... my babies fr

todoroki shoto doesn't exactly know what your first date should be, he asked you not really having a plan on what would come after. he ends up going to yaoyorozu and then midoriya for advice on where to take you, debates going to bakugou but decides against it on account of his bad attitude. ends up taking you to a lovely, hole in the wall cafe with excellent food and amazing desserts.

kaminari denki does not have anything planned out and waits til the very last minute to get his shit together and figure something out. he takes you to a 7/11 to run rampant and then turns on the cheesiest horror movies he could find. the plots are very easy to figure but he still jumps and shrieks at every scare

shinso hitoshi plans out your date with a semi-vague idea of what the two of you would be doing. to the zoo and then a picnic in the botanical gardens, very simple but still cute. he may or may not be planning your second date already

Denki knew that as soon as he walked into his dorm with a new hoodie/sweatshirt, he might as well be prepared to not see it for a week. Hehe, he thought he could hide it in his laundry hamper, because usually that’s where the dirty clothes go, and you wouldn’t bother looking there, right?

You happily walked down the hall and into his dorm without knocking. He, being the couch potato he is, was lying on his bed on his phone.

“Hi!” You smiled. You practically had two dorms. Continuing to talk to him as a distraction, you looked in the hamper, because you saw him sneaking in the dorms with a couple of shopping bags.

Denki was on his phone when you shimmied your way into his arms. He hugged you, smelling that new clothing smell and your scent.

“Really? It’s summer y/n.” He giggled.

Hey babe!

I know it’s only been a few weeks since summer ended and I last saw you; not even an hour since I was last on the phone to you, but I know this new distance and environment is strange.

It’s okay to be worried or scared, especially when moving away from home for something so big (and moving away from me, obviously). And I know we text and call all the time but I'm trying to be romantic! Let me write you a long distance love letter and be a little sappy on paper for once - which gets me to my next point.

You are going to do amazing out there, you will keep working just as hard as you have been to get into this college. You deserve to be there living your academic dreams and meeting new people. You may find it difficult to adjust or get used to the study hours but you will, it will just take a little bit of time. Everyone is new there so you’ll all be in the same position of adjusting and making friends in classes and around the campus as a whole, it’s a learning and growing experience and you’ll find someone, so don’t be afraid to go to clubs and extracurriculars, okay? There will be something for you, as niche as you may think it is. Try something new, no matter how bad you may think it is, and even if you don’t keep it up, you may find a friend there. These are the years where you’re meant to find yourself, at least that’s what everyone goes on about.

I can’t wait to see you on our first break and have you in front of me in person and see your eyes shine. Wouldn't it be cute if we reunited and ran to each other from opposite sides of the station? You don't know how, but his eyes shone even more than they were seconds ago, patting your shoulder in a friendly manner.

- blurts out his brain’s impulsive thoughts and then bursts into laughter at his own words

- risk taking behaviour as a source of dopamine

- gets carried away on research tangents and comes to class with extensive knowledge on irrelevant topics and having not done the homework

- not hearing anything ever when a teacher is talking, stares intently at them and zones out

- can read multiple novels in a day at the cost of his health and wellbeing and only when he decides he wants to

- absolute nest of a room

- impulse buyer

- can’t adequately plan ahead bc he can’t fathom the future or consequences eg. forgets to bring water on a hike bc it doesn’t occur to him hiking will make him thirsty, he can only think ‘going hiking’

- can’t read and listen to conversations at the same time, gets frustrated and distressed when ppl are talking while he’s trying to read something

- however, can listen to music while reading or talking and almost constantly has music playing aloud or through headphones, needs constant Good Noise
