everyone knew he was attractive. he knew it too, because every year on february 14th he dreaded opening his locker. dreaded the absurd amount of chocolates and tacky gifts that he never understood why obsessive classmates would spend time to make for a blatant and dull person like him. he doesn’t even think any of him have seen him smile. but after meeting a certain someone, he added two very important steps to his valentines day routine. before giving the gigantic bag of gifts to his eager friends, he sorted through every single one in search of his favorite candy bar he only told you about, always wrapped in a slip of bright pink paper because you wanted to blend in with the other gifts. as if he couldn’t tell it was your handwriting in which the paper read “never forget how proud i am of you.” as if he didn’t know you were the only one out of a hundred chocolates who would write such a message that belonged on the pin board above his desk because it reminded him that you were the only person who loved him under his gorgeous looks, who saw him for the work he put into the things he loved. and thus, his last step on valentines day was to take a photo of the half-eaten candy bar and send it to you with a message that reads “should’ve given it to me face-to-face, coward.” to which you would respond with “i could say the same thing about the chocolate covered-strawberries you made for me. if you’re not confident in how they taste, should’ve just told me.”

This is my first time writing something on this app, and I want you to know that English is not my first language, so- I'm sorry for the spelling mistakes!

I think the gender is not specified but maybe it's fem!reader. If that's the case, I'm so sorry about it!! Please, ignore it or tell me to correct it, I don't want a specific gender so everyone can identify 😞‼️

(These scenarios are something that happened to me when I was 14 years old and I thought it was good to write it as an 'imagine this'. I tagged my "favorite" anime/games, but feel free to think that is anyone you like!!)

1st scenario.

You are running down the hallway of your school, chasing your friend. You have something that belongs to her, so you want to give it back to her, but you don't take into account that there is a plant where you are, which causes you to end up crashing with it and falling to the ground. Your classmates approach, laughing and asking if you are okay, but you don't answer, your face is red of embarrassment.

(Lover) approaches, taking your arm and leading you away from the crowd in silence. The people around you watched the scene but decided to ignored it. You look at him, tears in your eyes and your face red of shame. He takes you to your classroom, motioning for you to sit on a chair.

— Can you sit on a chair? I'm looking for a plaster, just wait.

He tells you, looking in his backpack for what he already said. When he finds it, he grabs your right leg.

— When you fell, you leaned on this leg, right?

— Uh, yeah..

He nods, rolling up the sleeve of your pants on the right side, looking at your scraped knee. With a tissue and water, he cleans the area and then puts the plaster on. And then, with the plaster already on, he places a kiss on it while looking into your eyes.

2nd scenario.

You are in PE at your school, playing volleyball. They put you in the libero position and for (almost) not having physical condition, it is quite difficult for you.

The game starts and the opposing team serves. The girl jumps, raising the ball and crashing her palm into it, it seemed to be a direct point, but luckily your teammate manages to save it. The ball rises and the setter does not hesitate to do his job, placing it for your partner on the right, who hits the ball, scoring a point for your team.

...

The game is now 23-24 in favor of your team. But the greatest fear of your teammates and you came. It's the turn of (Person 1) to serve, who has such a powerful serve that she usually makes a direct point. You must do everything to win.

(Person 1) serves. She throws the ball up, jumping and looking for power in her arm, which she gets. You freeze, unable to move at the sight, but your friend manages to move, receiving it but leaving it short. Another of your teammates receives the ball and sends it to the other side of the court.

— Free ball!!

One of them shouts.

They receive the ball and return it, but your teammate receives it. Unfortunately, the ball bounces and flies away. It seemed like a lost point, but you weren't going to allow that. You start running at full speed. You're not a fast girl, so you force your body to go faster.

You lean forward, stretching your arm. You get to connect it with the ball, returning it to your side of the court. You fall and hit the stage in the gym, but you don't care. You looked at your friend in her eyes, telling her to do it. To win.

Your teammates receive the ball, throwing themselves at the setter so that she connects with the right wing, but no, when everyone had already jumped, preparing to hit and block, Your friends does what no one expected. A feint.

You hear the noise of the ball falling and then silence... Only silence. But suddenly you begin to hear shouts of celebration.

You smiled, exhausted. When you were about to get up, you felt someone put their arm around your body. It's (Lover). He helps you to get up, looking into your eyes.

— You did amazing.

He tells you with a big smile. A smile that you'll never forget. It's the first sincere and open smile he's given you, but little you know that it won't be the last.

I saw quite a lot of those on Tumblr those days. Therefore, I wanted to write something in this style because I really enjoy it.

You had an argument due to your boyfriend distancing himself from you. You could not have understood why… Therefore, it turned into a confrontation.

‘’Why are you like this? Does swallowing your own pride hurt so much? I am suffering due to the lack of your words and affection! Do I mean anything to you, (h/n)!? Or am I only a replacement for something else? Have you ever sincerely loved me, (h/n)!?” You were on the verge of crying, not knowing what had happened to the relationship. Why did he become so distant?

He noticed the tears that had weltered in your eyes. The enchanting orbs his heart cherished—he did not want to hurt you, but he had to swallow his pride first.

“No, (y/n)…” It took him a couple of seconds to gather up his courage. He looked away, but quickly looked back into your eyes. “I have loved you since the moment I saw you for the first time... You are beautiful, enchanting, and loving. Sometimes, I feel like I do not deserve you! I am terrified of what you did to me, to my heart, and to my soul! It burns me inside to know that I cannot express my love for you properly. You are the only one for me! I am afraid I will scare you away if I let this love indulge deeper into my whole being." He did not shout or raise his voice, but the message was clear. His love for you was something distant for him, something foreign.

You exchanged glances for a few moments.

“I wish to do... better... for you... for us." His voice was breaking down slowly. "Please forgive me, (y/n)… I… was… in… the… wrong…” The words that escaped the lips of a prideful man demanded bravery. Currently, he was the one whose eyes welt up with tears. You understood why he became like this. Not being used to someone's affection, he was to afraid you would end up broken like him. However, was not love about building something together? When you opened your arms for a hug, he quickly wrapped his own around your waist. “I love you so much," he whispered. “Please, don’t ever leave me.”

"I won't ever leave you, (h/n). Just keep your promise." You held him in your arms. The tears of the arrogant but fragile man flowed.

oh my god ok not to be insane but based on that last ask i got, i now bring you:

haikyuu characters* rated on the likeliness that they watch the blue lock reality tv show (BLTV).

*there are so many characters in this story. i am including a random number of them.

KAGEYAMA. -5/10. definitely not going to watch. he does not care for reality tv and he does not care about soccer. a reporter once asks him for his thoughts on the blue lock project and he asks what soccer is.

ALL OF SEIJOH. 10/10. ranking them as one, i promise i'm going somewhere w this. iwaizumi doesn't really have an opinion on reality tv but he does like soccer, and oikawa has a guilty pleasure of reality tv but doesn't really have an opinion on soccer. they thus find common ground and watch blue lock together. oikawa gets into making the fantasy league. iwaizumi gets into tracking stats for each player. between the two of them, they win the fantasy blue lock league. they then also rope the rest of seijoh into BLTV and the team gets stupidly into it. they all have favorite players and make bets with each other on their favorite teams. kyoutani has a knack for guessing scorelines. watari loses nearly every bet. he owes hanamaki so much ramen.

SUNA. 15/10. yeah. he watches that shit. i just know this in my heart. that kid is terminally online and was convinced to watch it by a twitter mutual who knew he was into volleyball and "its basically the same thing right." it is not basically the same thing. it is not at all basically the same thing. he watches it anyways.

HINATA. 2/10. not going to watch, similar to kageyama. simply does not care about either reality tv or soccer. but unlike kageyama, he does know what other sports are. he just doesn't feel the need to watch random high schoolers play them while trapped in soccer prison.

ATSUMU. 9/10. he pretends he doesn't. but he thinks that it's an insane project and it's kinda funny. he watches highlights when they're on water breaks during practice. if asked, he is watching "real soccer" and "psschhtt ofc it's not that ridiculous tv show whaaat."

USHIJIMA. 4/10. goshiki is into it so he knows about it just based on goshiki talking about it in the shiratorizawa group chat. goshiki denies talking about it so much, but everyone in shiratorizawa is consistently kept updated when big things happen. so he watches by proxy.

KUROO. 11/10. he thinks this project is genius. he wonders if the JVA could set up something similar. he is insane.

you'd feel it in the way his fingernails dig in your hips as he loops his arm around your waist, in the hard edge of his whispers as he leans down to kiss you, brush his lips by the lobe of your ear, pulling you into the side of his body, holding you a bit too close.

"ah... did you like what he was saying? hm?" he'd ask, with a honeycomb voice and a viper's grin, his eyes flashing as he looks you over, taking in the thinness of your tank-top strap, the the sheerness of your shirt, the length of your skirt as it skims by your thighs, "but he's right -- you are too pretty... so... what are we gonna do about it, hm?"

he corners you, pressing you into whatever dark corner he can, three seconds from the rest of the busy street or the gymnasium hall, filled with chattering people or the wide-open park where the rest of your friends are waiting for you to come back to the picnic --

"shh" he'd say, "quiet,' he'd warn, with the devil's smile playing across his lips, "you don't really want them to hear how much of a slut you are for me... do you?"
