The Inclusivity Facade
Like the name suggests, ‘inclusionists’ often perceive themselves as the inclusive side. They see themselves as martyrs—morally righteous individuals guided by a one-track goal: to promote “inclusivity” and “compassion” in all areas of life, particularly in LGBTQ+ discourse. Admirable, right?
However, despite what it might seem like on the surface, the core principles of inclusionist rhetoric are not based on actualized inclusion. Instead, they are based around dogma, control, blind acceptance, exclusion (surprise!), and sometimes even abuse. Inclusionists typically spread their value of “inclusivity” by blithely accepting any identities, no matter how contradictory, illogical, or unscientific they may seem. They will claim they believe in inclusivity, yet they are notably exclusionary towards those of different beliefs. They will claim they believe in compassion and understanding, yet they will send death threats or threats of violence to transmedicalists, exclusionists, and others that don't conform to their ideology, tell them to harm or kill themselves, verbally abuse them (cyberbullying), enable their eating disorders, claim false and derogatory things about them, dox them, engage in online harassment campaigns, attempt to silence dissenting opinions through mass-reporting, etc.
As such, the vast majority of inclusionists (it is unfortunately not a small but vocal minority, as one might hope) are as averse to basic human decency as a vampire is to sunlight. The truth is that inclusionists, for the most part, are not really trying to spread “inclusion”. Instead, they use the deceptive veil of “inclusion” as a way to make them seem better than they really are; if you present yourself as someone who stands for such an agreeable ideology (inclusion), people are more likely to perceive you as a virtuous person who stands for virtuous things.
That said, their actions often reveal their true intentions. In reality, inclusionists are quick to label anyone who disagrees with them as intolerant, bigoted, or even evil. They have no interest in understanding different perspectives or engaging in meaningful dialogue. Instead, they resort to unethical, damaging, and even borderline abusive behavior patterns that make a genuinely positive shift in society and online discourse virtually impossible. It becomes readily apparent that their supposed commitment to inclusion is nothing more than a facade to boost their own egos and maintain a false sense of moral superiority.
What inclusionists fail to realize is that inclusion is about creating a space where people feel respected and valued, regardless of their opinions and intrinsic qualities. This doesn't mean one should welcome people who are bigoted or hold harmful views, but rather that creating an environment where differing perspectives can be respectfully challenged and debated is essential to intellectual growth and fostering a culture of critical thinking. Inclusionists should understand that true inclusion involves embracing diversity and allowing for open dialogue, even with those who hold opposing views. It is through respectful engagement and the exchange of ideas that we can foster empathy and understanding and ultimately work towards positive societal change. By excluding individuals solely based on their opinions, we risk perpetuating echo chambers and hindering progress in our collective pursuit of knowledge and enlightenment.

As an exclusionist who's also a lesbian, these are my LGBT opinions:
- you need gender dysphoria to be trans
- if you don't have gender dysphoria, you aren't trans
- gender dysphoria is a mental disorder/condition
- lesbian means WOMEN loving WOMEN
- gay means MEN loving MEN
- pansexuality isn't real
- pansexuality is biphobic
- trans kids/teens shouldn't be allowed to medically transition until they are 18
- the acronym is LGBT, there's no Q, there's no QIA, and there's no +
- he/him lesbians aren't real and they aren't valid
- they/them lesbians aren't real and they aren't valid
- pronouns = gender
- there's only two genders (women and men/female and male)
- aromantic and asexuality aren't spectrums
- aromantic and asexual people are valid but they aren't apart of the LGBT community
- having a preference when it comes to dating doesn't mean that you need to come up with a whole new “LGBT” label to feel special
- being nonbinary isn't real
- xenogenders and xenopronouns aren't real and they aren't valid
- xenogenders, xenopronouns, etc make the LGBT community look like a joke
- gatekeeping in the LGBT community is necessary
- the LGBT community isn't some club that everybody can join just to feel special
- qu33r is a slur and you shouldn't call people qu33r unless they give you permission to call them that
- being genderfluid isn't real

Tumblr is such a weird place. You just lay out all your opinions at once and irl that's just not how it goes. When I get to know someone I gradually start to learn about their history first and then how they feel about things so I get the context of why they feel that way. There's also a chance to talk about why I might see things differently and my mind might be changed or theirs. Or we can accept that both of our views have merit and different perspectives keep the balance (depending on what it is).
I don't think this problem is happening on all internet spaces or even all Tumblr spaces but I think carrds and DNI lists being so common make it really unpleasant to do anything but block and move on. You see all the opinions first, especially on opinion blogs. There's no reason to talk to someone about why they feel the way they do because there isn't a mutual trust there to explain so they're only going to be defensive and possibly very snarky.
Idk I like horny Tumblr and I think that's where I'll stay because the "political"(discourse) side of Tumblr is still too preoccupied with whether or not you like to draw two fictional characters kiss or if you are worthy of calling yourself trans or a lesbian and being squicked out by the word queer to be paying attention to things that have a real lived impacton human beings. Firing gunshots to lower the property value of this post so academic snobs who use the phrase "reading comprehension" leave this post alone.

Y’all there are now 8 Billion people spread across seven continents, nearly 200 nations, and some 4500~ states speaking over 7000 languages. Not everyone is going to fit nicely into your comfort box.
We love to say “Oh sex/gender/sexuality/attraction is a spectrum,” until it comes to our personal little comfort box. Guess what.
Not everyone is going to fit your definition perfectly. Not everyone is going to fit inside your box.
That isn’t harmful, that’s human beings being human beings.
Existing in all facets on a spectrum, the human experience is unique to each and every individual. You have to wrap your heads around this fact. No human experience is the same. No box is going to fit everyone nicely. Someone existing different than you isn’t harmful, it just is. A human being existing differently than you. Words are made up and definitions vary on language and region. Take a breath. Take a walk. Take a long hard look at your discomfort and reflect if it’s truly harm being done or just your personal discomfort and fear over something different than yourself. Chances are it is very likely that you’re building higher walls when you should be building longer tables. Y’all gotta wrap your heads around the fact we’re all in this together, like it or not.

The world’s religions simply don’t agree with each other!
But while exclusive truth seems rational and acceptable in the material world, some people have a much harder time accepting the possibility of objective, exclusive truth when it comes to spiritual matters. For these folks, there exist any number of diverse and divergent truths about God and even more possible paths to this God, all of which are said to be true at the same time! But it’s important for us to take a deep look at this claim of diversity and religious pluralism. We need to remember that the world’s greatest (and even not so great) religions don’t make the same claims about God and the nature spiritual reality. And it’s not just a matter of each religion adding something to the larger picture. Each of the world’s religious systems makes claims about the nature of God (and life after death) that are diametrically OPPOSED! ~ J. Warner Wallace

Someone left a hate comment on one of my posts, so ya know what that means: another positivity post!
m-spec lesbians/gays, lesboys, turigirls, and anyone else that is 'the reason the LGBTQ community gets mocked' are cool ASF and are an important part of the community. Fuck 'being valid' as a queer person; we're all invalid to bigots, and that doesn't mean shit. We're going to be here, we have always been here, and we're not going anywhere.
Nothing a blank 'hater' account says will change that, either.
