Homelander would be the type of partner to be super overdramatic if his s/o forgot to say “I love you more” at the end of a phone call or when they leave for work.

Either way he ends up thinking about it all day and by the time he sees them again, probably when they get home from a long day at work he’s just sulking on the couch.

He also seems like the type to pull out the “I’m fine” when his s/o asks him what’s wrong. Which would lead to a minute or two of silence before he pulls out the teary eyed “Who is he? Who’s the other man?” and now the entire night needs to be spent reassuring him.

"Say it again," he says. There's a measure of petulance lingering in his voice as he nuzzles at your neck, holding you securely in his lap.

"I love you more than anything in this world," you repeat with a patient smile.

"The other thing," he says. You can feel his lips shape every word against your skin.

"You're my one and only."

"Forever?" You can feel his smile, too.

"Forever," you echo reassuringly.

This goes on for the rest of the night. He barely lets you out of his grasp, let alone out of his sight. He's clingy as hell, to the point where he insists on carrying you to bed when the time comes. It's hard to mind when he essentially functions like a warm weighted blanket, laying comfortably atop you and kissing you at every opportunity.

It does make it just a little tempting to purposefully leave off that extra 'I love you more' at the end of a call any time you're in need of especially intense affection, though.

the athena cabin was the obvious solution but not many of them were too fond of connor at the moment

okay, so yes, he had hidden tiny fake spiders in their cabin that took months to find all 250 of them, but it was just a harmless little prank!!

but, with quite a lot of bribing of snacks he could sneak into camp, connor finally won one of them over

you were a sucker for twinkies, okay??

you were put on the 'traitor of the month' wall within cabin six, along side percy who was asleep the last time a real spider was in cabin six so he was unavailable to kill it

at least the picture was cute

and the boy in which you risked your reputation for was even cuter

though, terrible at english

the worst part was that he was truly trying his best

which just happened to be a 'd+'

so you felt bad, more often than not just giving him the answer, though thoroughly explaining why it was the correct answer

connor was more than grateful for you, one you boosted his grades and two you were quickly becoming the girl of his dreams

and you were quickly losing interest in the twinkies, sticking around for connor and all his corny jokes

"did you hear about jay gatsby’s new car? It was a real hit with the ladies," connor mused, clearly proud of himself, leaning over his homework to be closer to you

you didn't even raised your eyes, flipping a page of your book

"connor, i know you did not read that book. do you even get the joke?"

connor then stole your copy of the great gatsby and read it, determined to understand the joke

and then, one day, while you were walking to lunch, you heard yells of your name

"Y/N! Y/N! Y/N! SMARTIE PANTS, CMERE!" connor yelled as he ran up to you, huffing and puffing as he bent over, out of breath, in front of you

you went to open your mouth but connor held his hand up, taking a few more deep breaths before pulling himself upright

then he presented you with his paper that the two of you had been slaving away over

and proudly put in the top right corner in read was a 'b+' and a little 'good job!' under it

"omg, a b?!" you hissed out, brows furrowing

"I KNOW ISN'T THAT STELLAR?? best grade i've ever gotten and-...are you- are you mad?-"

"that was totally an 'a' paper, are you kidding me?? i did not use the word 'quintessence' to get a 'b'!" the daughter of athena raged and connor couldn't help but laugh, setting a comforting hand on her heaving shoulders

"okay, you do that."

post angry email, you sought connor out, this time with a warm smile.

"come to terms with my 'b'?" he asked with a wide smile as you sat down beside him with a roll of your eyes

"i'll allow it," you joked, bumping your shoulder with his before handing over what you had been hiding behind your back.

it was a little fake diploma and graduation cap on a headband, the little diploma reading 'y/n's tutoring school'

he laughed, setting the headband into his hair, turning for the girl's approval, which he got in laughs

"...does this mean we're done with tutoring?" connor asked after the laughter died down, his smile slowly slipping away

and panic filled the girl's heart as she came to the same realization

then, her ever brilliant mind too over, thank the gods

"what? no, you've still got tutoring college. and then, tutoring grad school. and, maybe, if you're lucky, tutoring internship. you think you're getting rid of me, stoll?"

[AAAhjldc- Thenk, that genuinely makes me shriek with happiness, I'm glad you're enjoying the stuff! I can't really do ya a fic in a timely manner, so I'm going to ramble if you don't mind. :V]

It's already been discussed that Ludwig is the first one to meet you, and interacting with him on his own is nothing out of ordinary. You'd never expect that he has two other, utterly insane siblings, that he's in fact just as batshit mental, just better at hiding it. Truly, putting all three together is the key to seeing their true nature.

While Lud is the one to introduce you to his brothers, Mervin is actually the first one that'll declare this dynamic a relationship. There will be a lot of confusion for you initially, as you're getting swayed into romantic situations with each of the brothers seemingly behind the other's back. You're likely to reach a breaking point, and confront all three about it- Only to have the fork tell you something among the lines of "What do you mean, dipshit?! We've all been dating you for weeks now." And while it's far from a gentle nudge, if he hadn't told you that to the face, the other brothers would have taken much longer to make a statement.

The most affectionate of the bunch is Obie. Out of the trio, he's got the less hangups about physical touch and will often drape himself over you like a blanket. Lud and Merv definitely think he overdoes it and will make efforts to either join or rip you away from the glutton. This is easier said than done.

Ludwig and Mervin will be investing in your self-defense skill, as you'll eventually be brought into the Common Ring of Hell to meet Katia. Mervin teaches you directly how to fight with or without weapons, and your opponent is almost always Ludwig, because it kind of gets him off to fight you. By the end of this, you'll be able to hopefully buy yourself some time if a more powerful demon attempts to make a victim out of you.

Katia is a very nice lady who's just happy to see her boys found love, you'll be accepted into her heart without issue and you'll definitely get to see the ever elusive baby demon pictures. There's nothing cuter than seeing a picture of baby Ludwig putting Mervin in a chokehold while Obie's standing by their side, casually eating a pillow. That album is a bit cursed... But Katia does want a picture of you four together! Speaking of, she's here when you have trouble with any of them okay? If they start getting any funny ideas, she's just a call away. You're likely to be quickly escorted away by the three heathens when sloth mama starts mentioning grandkids.

Ludwig is the designated piggyback ride giver.

Obie is oftentimes oblivious to your flirts, Mervin has to hit him over the head and whisper the obvious.

It may seem like Mervin has more brain cells, but he does not, that's Ludwig's unwanted privilege. Nonetheless, the prideful demon often spearheads most outings.

Mervin is somehow more easily flustered than Obie by your antics. The hardest to fluster is Ludwig, but when it does happen, he gets quiet and extremely blushy, so pat yourself in the back.

As mentioned before, fighting between them over the smallest thing is common, and even healthy for demons, but some fights will be started purely because they want you to wedge in-between and give them attention.

Obie is the one that lends you clothes the most, although Mervin disagrees with this because the glutton is a "slob" and "has no taste".

The three are trying to decipher how to propose to you and can't reach an agreement. Ludwig argues they should polish the skulls of their enemies and put the wedding ring on one of the horns. Mervin can't afford the ring he wants so he's just going to steal it. With a lot of effort. Obie wants to do it with a massive feast that'll put even Vorticia to shame. Needless to say, it's going to be a very bizarre proposal.

I'm really glad this pretty dark AU has been entertaining for you and others despite some of the heavy topics in it. I appreciate that you want to hear more, but I think I'll want to take a bit of a break before I dig deep into it again given how heavy it is, especially since I just did a follow up of sorts discussing Ian's more problematic traits when it comes to his relationship with MC. It might be a good idea to focus on something a little lighter next as a palette cleanser, hahaha.

Though maybe I could think of a couple bright spots for that particular AU. Hmm...

Alice's family, at least those still living at the King house, do all chip in to help her take care of Lily. This is good since her health took a hard hit from the pregnancy and she would struggle otherwise. This allows her to have more time to rest and recover.

This also allows Jack more time to talk to Alice one on one despite the presence of a newborn demanding mommy's attention. Granted, a lot of time is spent just resting in the guestroom or outside in the garden when she's not taking care of the baby, but Jack does his best to keep Alice entertained while she's recovering, and he's the absolute best at being a cuddly teddy bear for her when she has to lie down.

The King house still has plenty of baby stuff in storage, so they're well prepared to help Alice out with the baby. It's more reason why mama Lycoris wants Alice to just move back home for good. Their house is big and she won't mind, nor will papa Zephyr.

Yup, papa King has a name now too. Guess this AU is oddly helping me with picking out names, huh?

Jack is really good with children, and whenever Lily starts crying, he just has a knack for getting her to calm down. It's almost like magic how he can just radiate calm emotions and help her understand that there's nothing to fear. Alice can't help but feel the same way about Jack really. He's just such a wonderful presence in her life after things have gotten so hard on her. He's been invaluable to help Alice take care of Lily and minimizing her stress.

Jack's empathy cheat and connection to both Alice and Lily really comes in handy at this point doesn't it?

While Alice is going to need more time than in Sunshine in Hell to even think about being in another romantic relationship, she does grow really close to Jack very quickly. Although... he's not the only guy crushing on her who wants to help out.

When Shaun comes back in town, he would have crashed with Alice for a while, but since she's a guest at her family's place, that's not doable. He does, however, get a nice bed and breakfast nearby until he finds a new place to settle down in, and he stops by as often as possible, much to Jack's annoyance. Alice is grateful for his visits and he never fails to make her laugh, which is also to Jack's annoyance.

Shaun even brings Moonpie over to visit Alice, and he mock fights with her over whose baby is cuter. Alice and Shaun eventually concede on a draw of a vote of one vs one... until Jack acts as tiebreaker and throws in his vote for Lily. That will probably be how Alice decides to try introducing Jack's existence to Shaun, though it's possible Alice will tell one or more of her family members about Jack before that. Coraline would just be thrilled to meet a ghost after all.

Needless to say, Shaun is both excited to meet Jack and a bit wary given Alice is in a vulnerable state. Still, she does insist Jack helped her, especially when Ian kept trying to see her, so that does give Jack some brownie points in Shaun's book.

Not that the feeling will necessarily be mutual from Jack. Shaun is yet another obstacle between Jack and his sunshine after all. Who knows though, maybe they'll bond over their mutual disdain for Ian and desire to protect Alice here too.

Huh. This got longer than I expected it to. I guess there are some more bright spots even in this dark AU than I thought. Then again I'm always a sucker for thoughts about my OTP being cuddly and sweet. I'll leave this post on that note with the image of Jack spooning Alice from behind while she nurses Lily, being this big protective teddy bear to his beloved sunshine and little sunspot.

Author note: This is based on games I have played, and thought they would personally enjoy. I would suggest you to play them as well if you haven’t. Just going to pretend they have access to PCs and consoles lmao. I can imagine their minecraft chat logs being hostile as fuck.

Leshy

He prefers games with an interesting story or based around nature.

He loves Minecraft.

While playing, he is rather peaceful. Only really playing the game for exploration and mobs.

He is the type of player to tame as many animals as possible, having a pack following him as he travels the world.

Currently has 23 wolves, 17 cats, and 3 horses. The number decreases more than increase.

If anything ever hits him, it’s instant death by wolf.

When he stumbles onto a village, he doesn’t loot or commit mass murder.

He would also play Stardew Valley.

His farm is well decorated with plants and trees

Unlike P03, he doesn’t make bank each harvest. This is partly due to him choosing to focus on live stock and their quality of life than the money.

Because of this, he opted to marry Shane because of the blue chickens.

Grimora

Grimora enjoys horror games and multiplayer games.

She also has minecraft, but doesn’t often play it.

This is because she prefers to play with friends, and the other Scrybes just do their own thing. So it isn’t as fun as it could be.

She loves realistic horror games, but she adores the ones with a cuter art style more as they tend to have better writing and gameplay.

This includes games such as Viviette and Inmost. The two games were adored by her due to the cuter art-style, and the gameplay.

In Viviette, despite having extremely difficult puzzles had been extremely fun. She liked how you had to run and hide, even if you were doing a puzzle.

Despite the game being short, she had spent about 7 hours trying to complete it.

Out of curiosity, she told P03 to play the game.

They completed it within four hours and had little difficulty.

Inmost’s art style and music did wonders to create a sombre mood.

The game had a lovely story as well…

She had recommended the game to Magnificus, as well as a few other things she tried.

“I feel as though you would enjoy this game.”

“Ok.”

“You should try it.”

“I will.”

“When you try the game, tell me how you feel about it.”

“Ok.”

Magnificus

He doesn’t play video games of his own free will. He is either forcefully made to play, or bullied into trying.

Often, he wonders what he has done in life to deserve his treatment.

But if he had to pick his favourite type of game, he would pick something that focuses around visuals or has a interesting story. Genre doesn’t matter.

Once he was forced to play layers of fear by Grimora and ended up genuinely enjoying it. The visuals were great, especially when things started to warp.

Then he was forced to play minecraft by the other Scrybes.

He found the enchantments interesting, as well as the ender. However due to being shit at video games and the dumbass twins (Leshy and P03) being unhelpful and Grimora being offline, he hasn’t managed to get to the ender dragon.

“Everyone. I require assistance and resources. I need to find eyes of ender to continue and I do not have to necessary resources to retrieve them myself.”

“Sorry I do not know what that is.”

“Lol, noob. I’m not helping by choice.”

“…”

Then several days later.

“Hello, sorry. I do not have anything to spare.”

As mentioned in a previous headcanon post, they prefer to play games that make them feel productive, or that are challenging.

Other games not mentioned included Hollow knight and Minecraft.

With Hollow knight, they got pissed off at gameplay and were shit at first. But out of spite, they tried to get every achievement available and got them all within 4 days.

They hated god seeker mode with a vengeance.

But god was it worth beating it. He got bragging rights for a fairly unknown game.

In minecraft, they commit arson or they hack into Leshy’s world to kill his pets.

They find it funny because Leshy gets attached to his pets, even though they aren’t real.

The fool holds Stampy style dog burials.

Despite often being the murderer Leshy always invites them to the funerals.

They still attend to pay their respects… and to commit arson again.

“We have assembled here today, to pay our respects to one of the best boys of minecraft. My wolf Jeremiah. He-“

“Boo you whore.-“ *Pulls out flint and steel.*

“P03 stop disrespecting the grave.”

witches combining spell circles:

i wonder what (if any) criteria there is for witches to be able to combine circles like that

i remember when we got the first example we all just assumed it was a Special Twin Thing

then last week we got the second one and i had a LOT of different possibilities in mind

the third example ruled out the possibility that the witches had to be related by blood (which seemed unlikely from a writing perspective anyway, with the show's focus on found family)

it halfway ruled out that the witches had to specialize in the same track. though eda doesn't really "specialize" in anything so i guess this isn't FULLY ruled out. but i'd just assume the witches DO both need the ABILITY to perform whatever spell they're trying to cast together. so one of these things would need to be true: A: they're both in the same coven, B: one or both of them are not be bound to a coven yet, or C: it's a general-purpose spell that witches from all covens can do

what remains true between all examples is:

-the witches have the same colour of magic (sidenote: what determines a witch's magic's colour? it initially seemed like it was based on the witch's track or what type of spell they were casting, but we've long since seen many examples to the contrary. is it an inborn thing? is it based on their personality? is it just straightup whatever the witch's favourite colour is???)

-the witches have a close bond (i mean it's Complicated in amity and alador's case but there's clearly some kind of closeness between them) and/or they work well in sync

that second one gives me the headcanon that combining magic is a serious display of emotional intimacy. which makes that scene with amity and her dad feel that much more bittersweet and hard-hitting. and makes luz and amity casting that grom spell together even cuter (i mean, it wasn't a combined circle, but with luz"s "disability" in mind, it might as well be). and makes belos splitting people up into covens -vastly limiting the possibilities for magic to be combined- seem that much crueller

after you guys got Maki, Iris, Shrinra, and Arthur things actually started to feel real

like wow, you're actually putting infernals to rest and doing real lieutenant things like paperwork...

lots and lots of paperwork...

obviously, you knew there would be documentation you had to fill out as a lieutenant, but this much???

while Maki, Iris, and Captain Obi would be done at a reasonable time similar to a 9-5 job Shinra and Arthur are no help, you and Hinawa were not so lucky.

it turns out that being a lieutenant means you deal with all the paperwork that someone like Captain Obi doesn't have time for, and is above everyone else's positions.

this on top of maintaining all the equipment meant you and Hinawa worked many hours into the night alone together

it was always at midnight when you realized how happy you were that you and Hinawa got along so well.

you two would spend hours talking and then hours in comfortable silence

Hinawa is painfully aware that this task would take significantly less time if you two skipped the talking, but he didn't mind the extra time put in to talk with you.

he especially appreciates the extra time you two have together now that there are other crewmen to take some of your time and not to mention the infernals...

sometimes Hinawa will get up from his seat in the office and make a trip to the kitchen for some coffee and your favorite drink.

when you ask him how he knows what your favorite drink is, he says that because you drink it so much throughout the day, he'd have to be dumber than Arthur (no offense bby) to not know it.

this is when you realize that the sarcasm that used to be frightening to you is now quite charming.

Hinawa doesn't immediately define this as something so trivial like having feelings for you.

oh but Obi does...

anytime it's just Hinawa and Obi together, expect there to be teasing.

it gets worse, one day, Iris and Maki overhear the Captain and they think Hinawa's little crush is the cutest thing.

they always wink at him or nudge him when he's talking to you or even just sitting next to you.

this man is not amused.

in all honesty, Maki and Iris think it's a joke.

how could the stone-cold lieutenant feel anything so lovey-dovey for anyone? let alone his co-worker?

but Obi sees how Hinawa looks at you, how he really only smiles when talking with you, how you would describe him as a completely different person than everyone else would because he opens up that much with you.

Hinawa, however, is dence.

so out of ignorance or stubbornness, he denies his feelings.

even Shinra, Arthur, and Tamaki catch on before he does.

but let's not forget about you...

oh how things would have been so easy if you were just some airheaded rookie...

but no, you were a lieutenant, a parental figure to the whole team(which yes, only makes you and team dad even cuter together and yes I will be writing a fic about this)

so you were plenty aware of his feelings for you before he was, whether that be through his actions or catching on to the teasing, you were not stupid.

you just wish you were, because then maybe the waiting wouldn't be so hard.

let's backtrack a little, OF COURSE, YOU LIKE HIM BACK

it wasn't something that hit you in a flash and suddenly you were head over heels for him.

your fondness for Hinawa grew over time and bloomed into something you could see yourself living with.

you quickly realized that you would have to make the first move.

yes it would be scary but you face the worst this world has to offer every day, how much worse could this be?

so much worse...

one late night while doing paperwork, Hinawa brings you your drink and a snack.

once he settles back into his seat, you decide that this is the time you're going to tell him about your feelings.

unfortunately, no matter how long you stare at him peering down at his documents, no words come out.

so you, wanting to get this over with, decide to just get the words out there.

"Hey, so..."

he immediately glances up at you. he makes it a habit to look directly at people when they are talking to him, which is something that you admired, but not so much at this moment, as this simple gesture of respect from him was rendering you speechless.

seeing you immediately look away, he responds "What's wrong, y/n?"

oh god, how you love the way he gets straight to the point without dancing around the subject.

you know just how thin his patience is, so you decide to get on with it.

"Do you... have feelings for me?"

he pauses for a moment, still looking up at you, and gently places his pen on the desk.

"I suppose you could call it that, yes."

there is a comforting silence between the two of you that lasts just long enough for you to collect your thoughts.

"I understand that given our professional relationshi-"

"Shut-Up!" you cut him off, giggling to yourself.

you can tell from the look on his face that he is confused and you're gonna have to elaborate.

"I like you too, Hinawa. And, I hate to be the one to break it to you, but this place is far from professional."

this is the first time you've seen Hinawa genuinely shocked. like full-on shook O_o

with your head in the clouds, you just sit there with a goofy smile watching him try to look at anything but you while he processes what just happened.

when he gains his composure he innocently grins and asks you the one thing you've been waiting to hear for weeks now. "y/n, would you like to go out with me?"

"I would love to Hinawa."

for the rest of the night, you and Hinawa steal glances at one another with warm smiles and giggles and not much work gets done.

eventually, you succumb to your fatigue from the days work and decide to call it a night.

you stand up and slowly make your way to the man sitting across from you and bend to meet the side of his face.

"Goodnight, Hinawa." you softly whisper over his cheek before placing a soft kiss on it.

this is the second time you've seen him genuinely shocked, but you're too tired to observe his reaction.

instead, you make your way to the door and just before you walk through the doorway Hinawa blurts out "Thank you." in a deadpan.

you turn back, a bit confused, and then try and fail to stifle a laugh.

mans was just being polite <(｀^´)>

—Pinks, Blues, and Yellows by @quillsanddaydreams - a short headcanon-fic by one of my favorite writers in this site! This fic, of course, showed how soft Regulus really is. I love him so much and I’m glad to see people requesting and writing about him.

—Runaways by @messers-moony - this fic isn’t a romantic reader insert, but a sibling reader insert! I’m just so happy I got to read a Sirius, Regulus, and reader sibling fic without them drifting apart and hating each other!

—Arranging Fate by @padfoot-and-prongsie - Regulus seems more like Sirius in this fic but who knows, a playful side to him that only appears when he’s with the reader is interesting! This is fic is a bit spicy, but very good!

—Safe Haven by @dreamcxtcherr - again, one of my favorite writers! This fic is both fluffy and angsty, with the reader and Regulus only having each other to rely on. They spend their days together at their shared attic, pouring whatever feelings they couldn’t show to their families. 

—Peppermints and Cologne by @lotsoffandomimagines - amortentia, yes. I love this concept. A flustered reader and Regulus is just *chef’s kiss*. 

—Later by @thoseofgreatambition - I am such a sucker for secret admirer tropes... Regulus is so cute here and I love how Andromeda helped him. The reader’s boldness is a plus too!

—A Little Longer by @quillsanddaydreams - Regulus secret relationship tropes break and mend my heart... 

—Belong Together by @cupids-crystals - one of my favorite authors, probably the first fic writer I followed with this blog! I’m more than certain that Regulus feels inferior to Sirius in some ways, despite being the “favored” child by his parents. This fic is just so fluffy, with the reader reassuring him of her feelings.

—Muggle Devices by @cupids-crystals​ - if only Regulus got to go along with Sirius when he ran away... this fic explores the happiness in that “if only”, with the reader teaching Regulus how to call her with a telephone. 

— a short Regulus prompt by @/scandalous-chaos - this. This is a super good short standalone fic and I can’t help but think I want someone to write a poem for me like that.

—The Best Prankster by @deathlyhogwarts - I don’t read much James fics but this! The prompt is amazing, completely in character with James’s persistence. It’s really cute too (and funny)!

— A Done Deal by @/wrathspoet - this was so cute and kinda wild—this fic is just SO James if you know what I mean!

— Authenticity by @/mirclealignr - pureblood customs can go and * themselves. 

— Insufferable @/mirclealignr - I LOVE James reader insert detention fics... especially when it’s enemies to lovers (or at least on the way to lovers)!

—Invisible String by @wnterwidows - For those hopelessly pining for someone else, this is a fic you’ll want to read! The pain hits way too close to home but you’ll actually be happy in the end because it has a happy ending!

—Real by @wnterwidows - the trust issues are real in this one! It’s classic fluff, appealing to me with one of my favorite tropes: secret admirers. Cedric is the secret admirer in this one, which makes it all the more cuter!

—Second Task by @screamingpasta - please, if I really was the reader in this fic I would slap Cedric. Spending my nights crying over a boy only to find out that [redacted] is the last thing I’d want! It has one of my favorite tropes as well, which you’ll be left to guess when you read it!

—a Cedric prompt by @persuasivus - not too long and very very cute as well! The reader is so sassy, a type I’d like to see with Cedric more often!

—Somebody to You by @iliveiloveiwrite - an evening dose of fluff before you go to sleep! It features the tug of war between two people in love with each other. This fic is a mess of hidden feelings and it’s just so cute!

—Yule Ball from the Sidelines by @imaginexmeintheuniverse - this one HURT. The first few sentences of this fic just prove my statement. I LOVE these types of fics, with one of them ‘liking someone else’ and the other just... suffers. 

—Woes of a Prefect by @wondernimbus - honestly so cute! I love the first years here, they’re so honest that it’s really funny! This fic just shows how much of a good boyfriend Cedric is (definitely my type)! 

—Ceaseless Interruptions by @imaginexmeintheuniverse - this is the fic that pushed me to start reading Cedric reader inserts. It has my favorite five times trope (five times they almost kissed + the one time they did). 

—The Art of Flirtation by @dreamcxtcherr - please, if Cedric was beside me I wouldn’t get anything done too. This is a short, very very fluffy fic! I want to go on a date with him so much it’s not even funny anymore.

✦ DRACO MALFOY ✦

—They’ll Hold Him Down by @boxofbadaddiction - this is NOT A READER INSERT but I love how this fic emphasized the lack of a normal family Draco had. It was always about pureblood status, the Malfoy name, and whatnot. I’m also hooked with the concept of Mr. and Mrs. Weasley looking out for him.

—Trouble and Sufferings by @holden-caulfield - this fic isn’t that romantic, but it’s cute nonetheless! Professor Trelawney just making Draco and the reader ??? with some accurate prophecies!

—The Girl by @holden-caulfield - probably my favorite Draco fic! I love the pen pals trope, it’s just so romantic! It’s also fluffy-angst (slight) with a happy ending. It’s like the author mixed all the stuff I love into one fic!

—How to Fall in Love by @holden-caulfield - yes, love potions. Another one of my favorite tropes. This trope gave that little push both Draco and the reader needed to come to terms with their feelings!

—Desperately by @holden-caulfield - this is basically Blaise snitching Draco’s feelings to the reader and it’s just so cute and funny! Draco didn’t even know what was going on, but he got what he wanted in the end anyway!

—You’re Pretty! by @desiredmalfoy - this honestly sounds something Draco would say when he sees his super pretty girlfriend when he’s not thinking properly (and thus can’t remember anything about his super pretty girlfriend). 

—Shake on It by @tcmhollnd - an ongoing series I love so much! I can’t wait for it to update (no pressure to the author of course)!

—Wardrobe Malfunction by @tcmhollnd - one of my favorite Draco fics as well! This fic has a secret relationship trope with fluff and angst, ending happily, of course!

Tsukishima Kei

You and Tsukishima are the couple that does not look like a couple.

When you two arrived at one of the gatherings that Yamaguchi organised for the old volleyball team, they were shocked that you two have been dating since high school graduation.

Generally, you were not a person that is fond of any types of kinship. Instead, it was Tsukishima that does it first.

He is the needier one among you two.

You and Tsukishima are neighbours, but he often has dinners at your place then heads back to his unit after hanging out with you.

Since he was in his university team, they would travel to the Kansai region and have some training camps with the universities there.

He was going off during the summer break, and you thought you were going to be okay without him for two weeks.

You were dead wrong.

Tsukishima would text you and tries to call you, but the training and bonding activities took out all the time, so you two barely talk.

You worked at your older sister's cafe during your break for some quick cash and to kill time as well.

Normally, you and Tsukishima would have planned a short vacation to another part of Japan, but since this season's teams seems promising, the team decided to sacrifice their break and train more.

But, this year, you're alone and just working at the cafe, hitting new eating spots in town.

You hate to admit it, but you needed his hugs, kisses and everything about him.

You just miss that salty giant middle blocker that is your boyfriend.

On the morning that he will arrive, you decided to drive to the train station to pick him up.

Or that's what you had planned, but you woke up too late, and a surprise was waiting for you in bed.

"Did you sleep well? You're drooling." You blinked in confusion and pulls on his cheeks.

It was real; he is back. You jump onto him, and you two rolled out of bed together and onto the floor.

"Whoa, do you miss me that much? I was only gone for two weeks, babe." He pats your head, and you let out a deep sigh.

"I thought I would be okay too, but I guess I miss you so much. I'll go wash up first and we can go get lunch together, okay?" You scrambled off to the bathroom, hiding your flushed cheeks.

That was a first for him and he is enjoying it.

Soon, you two were on your way to get some lunch and you decided to treat him to a good meal since he was practising hard for the upcoming season.

Your arms were wrapped securely around his, and you were acting really affectionate. You two were on a walk in the park after the heavy meal you guys had.

He was happy to see you this excited to go on a date with him.

"How did you spend your break without me?" He asked you, brushing your hair away from your face.

You faced him and frowned.

"I spend my break working, then eat, drink with my friends and sleep. I miss you a lot." You pout to him, and boy, he was exploding with happiness on the inside.

He never knew that his girlfriend can look this cute in the three years of his relationship.

"Oh, really? I just left for two weeks, and you are already this cute? Are you going to be cuter when I leave for my games?" He leans down closer to you.

You lean up and capture his lips into a kiss first.

"If you leave so often when you come back, you need to give me all the kisses and cuddles that you deprive me of." You shyly said and looked down on your feet in embarrassment.

"Hmm, I guess I have to give you the kisses that I miss then..."

He does not need to say further as you wrap your arms around his neck and capture his lips again for another kiss.

Omg it feels so good to be back and I love writing fluffy Tsukki!

“You say it like I do this every week...” He tried to stall, making you roll your eyes

“Okay, is every other week,” you giggled, stopping your task of folding laundry to get up from the floor and approach him.

“Well, am I wrong?” You ask, hands on your hips as he sighed and showed you the new puppy he’d gotten.

“Please, it’s just for a couple of weeks!” He begged, and you don’t know who’s cuter

His pleading eyes or the poor puppy’s face

You’d heard this thousand of times before ever since he asked you to move in

You were way past believing him by now

And the sound of the pitter-patter of paws hitting the hardwood floors as your canine kids heard their daddy arrive reminded both of you just how many times he’d promise he had brought a new dog “just to take care of him until there was someone willing to adopt.”

“You were saying?” You sassed, reaching out to take the newest addition to your family in your arms

Tom watched you play with him with hooded eyes, unbelievably hard at seeing something so domestic and simple as you willing to welcome one other dog into your already busy life

“Why are you so willing to deal with me?” He asked, leaning down for a kiss, love clear in his eyes

“Because you wouldn’t be the man I loved if you didn’t care so much about every dog you meet.”

⟢ he’s giving actual comprehensible advice, and his voice sounds normal, if not quieter?

⟢ you never thought you’d see the day. sadly, this would only last for a day or so until they went back to normal, so you’d have to make the most of it.

⟢ seeing midoriya snapping at everyone at the drop of a hat all day was kinda funny but also kinda scary bc suddenly he was kicking through ten layers of concrete. like damn, chill ;;;

⟢ the best part, though, comes after class. you two usually walk back to the dorms together, hand-in-hand.

⟢ you grab his hand and this boy, oh this sweet boy, literally almost COMBUSTS. bakugou.exe has stopped working.

⟢ poor baby’s face is so red and you have to fan him to cool him off before you can grab his hand again. super concerned that you want to hold his hand, esp after all his nervous sweating, but shuts down again when you tell him that you don’t mind with a smile.

⟢ if you like teasing him, NOW IS THE TIME! will freeze up on the spot and maybe overheat. he’s stumbling over his words half the time, stammering nonsense the other half, but 100% completely whipped for you.

⟢ his vocal filter is loose as hell now though, somehow finds a way to fluster you without intending to.

⟢ “katsuki, your blush is so cute!”

⟢ the softest baby that will shower you with affection since the personality switch ended up also loosening his pride. he’ll cuddle you with absolutely no fuss, do whatever he can for you.

⟢ this also gives you a LOT of insight into how he actually feels about you since he’s so much more affectionate w you during this time.

⟢ while seeing this bakugou was really cute and endearing, you were more than happy to see his normal, aggressive tsundere personality back the next day.

“This is… kinda strange.”

“Are you kidding me, Sero? This is great! We finally get to have blackmail material on the invincible Bakugou!” Kaminari was cackling as he whipped his phone out, ready to film Bakugou. Quiet, meek, Bakugou, awkwardly trying to dodge Kaminari’s camera lens by hiding behind Midoriya. Aizawa had brought them into class a few moments ago, announcing their circumstances to the class before leaving the two boys to fend for themselves as he zipped up his sleeping bag and knocked out.

“Kaminari, if you don’t stop right now…” Midoriya, on the other hand, was glaring down at Kaminari. Personality switched or not, his protectiveness never failed to show through.

“Y-Yes sir!”

Meanwhile, you crept around the desks to tug at Bakugou’s sleeve, smiling as you pulled him away from the people clamoring around Midoriya and Kaminari. Almost immediately, his face flushed red as you tugged him away from the commotion, yet he followed you to his desk nonetheless.

“Are you doing okay, Bakugou?”

“A-Ah, yeah, I think… I want people to pay attention to me, but not like that…” You were a hair away from smothering your boyfriend with cuddles right then and there, but you needed him to be functioning for the rest of the day so, alas, you had to hold back. Didn’t stop you from gushing over the blush dusting over his cheeks, which only made the rest of his face bloom with an embarrassed flush.

“Ah, Bakugou, your blushing’s so cute!”

“It’s because I don’t know what to do with myself since you’re cute!”

Now you were the flustered one, feeling your cheeks warm as you stared at him in surprise. An awkward silence paused the class at his slightly too-loud outburst, his voice raising an octave as his nerves went haywire, before it was broken by Kaminari and Sero’s howling laughter with their phones out.

“We got that on video! On video! This is going to be great!”

Realizing his mistake, Bakugou slowly hid his face in his hands with a groan.

“Kaminari, Sero…” The boys squeaked at Midoriya’s glare.

Morning routine with Benoit Blanc would include...

I really enjoyed writing this for Joe Bang, so I felt that it would only be fair for me to do the same for Mr. Blanc. 

Warning: brief mention of sex

- In the beginning and end of the work week, the two of you get up when the alarm tells you to. In the middle of the work week, though, you like to hit the snooze button. It’s not planned or anything, you just want one more wink of sleep in each others arms.

- Benoit wakes up early, even on the weekends. That being said, he does take a while to get up because he just likes being in your arms just a little while longer. 

- You tend to take your showers together (not always, but usually). Unless it’s the weekend, there won’t be any funny stuff. The two of you find that washing each others hair and backs to be quite enough. 

- On some days something to eat will be made for the both of you and on others, you're on your own. Either way, you like to sit at the table together. 

- You’ll make idle chat in the mornings, though breakfasts are usually on the quiet side because Benoit likes to read his newspaper.

- On the weekends, if you’re feeling playful enough, he may let you shave him. If you accidentally nick him, he’ll assure you that he’s fine. It’ll be another few weeks before he’ll let you try again, though. 

- Benoit likes to shave you as well. He’s gotten better at shaving you for he finds it relaxing, strangely enough.

- He likes it when you tie his tie for him or help him pick out his pocket squares. 

- He wears slippers and this deep maroon-wine color bathrobe that you gave him a year or so ago. It makes him look handsome(r).

- There is nothing cuter than a sleepy Benoit Blanc with bed hair shuffling out of the bedroom to make himself coffee. 

- Lots of soft morning sex and endless cuddles on the weekend.

- You brush your teeth and do your skin care routines together. You each have your own lotions and cleansers, but take enjoyment in trying new products together or switching them from time to time. 

- You love the smell of his aftershave mixed with the cigar smoke. 

- He likes to eat eggs (sunny-side up), toast, breakfast sausages, and black coffee with cream and sugar. If he’s in a rush, he’ll be fine with an apple or a bag of granola.

- Benoit gets excited at the prospect of pancakes. He likes them with blueberries and lots of maple syrup.

Genma Shiranui

Ugh this man gives me tingles LNDJSJS He’s gives me immaculate vibes and he looks so cool all the time, but... you are the one thing that can really rattle this mans cool confident exterior down to the bone.

I think he has a baddie type. Like you know what you want, confidence, just bad bitch energy to the max!! Uhm also I feel like he digs long legs and girls who are taller than him. If you’re a baddie who’s tall and confident he’s floored. But even if you are short, it doesn’t matter as long as you can wipe the floor with him LMFAOOO. He likes Instagram baddies I’m sorry it’s true.

He strikes me as a smirky / flirty type of boyfriend. Like he’ll really fluster you up and have this cocky smirk the whole time he’s doing it. But you know how you can get payback that works every. single. time? If you take that toothpick out of his mouth and slip it into yours and walk away. He’ll stand there with his jaw to the floor like mhm, Yah, she just did that.

I feel like he also goes batshit crazy for nicknames, like he will call you any sort of pet name ever. Princess, babe, baby, (baby girl irks the fuck out of me so I’m not putting it here w/out saying that), honey, love, cutie, darling. But he likes it if you just call him the classic names like babe or baby, he does have this thing for being called darling though. Like if hes being a little shit and refuses to get the tv remote for you just plead and add the word “darling” To the end of the sentence and boom! Your wish is his command.

For cuddling I see him as more of a switch. Like he can be the big spoon some days and wrap you up in his arms and legs, but then he can also be the little spoon, really loves when you’ve got your leg around his waist or if youre playing with his hair.

He loves neck kisses, like he loves them. He really likes giving them, hes the type of person to purposely give you hickeys in noticeable places just to watch you struggle to cover them up. However, he loves receiving neck kisses too. Make sure to leave him a hickey for payback.

Another thing about Genma is that he’s super funny, like he can make you laugh until your ribs get tough. So he’s good at cheering you up and helping you loosen up in tough situations. Like he can lighten the mood instantly. This is great because if you two are ever arguing or if you’re in a bad mood he can just say a few jokes and get you laughing in no time.

He’s also the type to show off his relationship. Like if you aren’t a ninja, he will show you off to all his ninja friends and brag about you whenever an opportunity presents itself. If you are a ninja though, you would make the most badass duo on missions and he will flaunt it to his comrades almost obnoxiously. Ebisu gets annoyed the most.

So yah, he likes showing you off but don’t forget to show him off too! Like really show him off to your friends and get him all confident about himself. Feed his ego bc he will repay you for it later ;)

With all that being said, it’s safe to say he also digs pda. Like he doesn’t mind kissing, hand holding, wrapping an arm around you, just being affectionate overall. I mean he won’t be too crazy like he won’t shove his tongue down your throat or anything, but like a quick kiss never killed anyone.

Ibiki

I think one of the best and worst parts about dating Ibiki is that he can literally read you like a book. So he knows when youre feeling upset or uncomfortable or literally anything. It’s good because he can get you to open up about something that’s bothering you and be able to help you. It’s bad because he can end up pestering the shit out of you until he finds out what’s wrong.

Anyways, he’ll be a good gift giver, like he picks up on the way you look at a certain dress in a shopfront window, or how your gaze lingered a second longer than normal on a bracelet a passerby was wearing. Then boom, the next day you’ve got it.

I know he’s a tough guy, but look at the gif! LOOK AT IT!! He has that soft spot. Also remember that episode when we met his brother? I seen a glimmer of that soft spot! He will be gentle and caring with you 100% like I see him giving you sweet kisses when you’re at home together, playing with your hair, things like that, but only when you’re alone.

He can also be a tough love kind of guy sometimes as well. If you aren’t a ninja he will want to have you learn basic techniques for defending yourself. He may even teach you some ninja basics and a jutsu or two, just so you can protect yourself when he’s away on missions. If you’re a ninja he will teach you more complex jutsus.

In public he prefers to keep the relationship discreet because I mean, he has enemies. He’s not gonna want them to go after you in order to get to him. So at the most, he’ll put a hand on your back when you’re in public. But like I said, when you’re alone together he’s super affectionate.

He’s probably not like the best big spoon in terms of cuddling though, like I think he may accidentally crush you. And anyways I see him liking you being the one laying on him or draping a leg over him instead of the other way around.

His favourite types of kisses to give you are kisses on the top of your head and forehead kisses. Like before he leaves on some very important mission, he’ll give you a kiss on the top of your head. In the mornings when you two wake up he’ll give you a kiss on your forehead.

If you want to melt this guy though, you should give him kisses on his scars. Especially the ones on his face. He also likes when you trace your fingers over them. It makes him feel comforted and he’ll probably fall asleep while you do so.

Ibiki can be a hype man, but in a different sort of way. Like he won’t be cheering you on the loudest, but he’ll be the one who gives you the best advice behind the scenes. Like if you’re going on a difficult mission, he’ll tell you how smart and strong you are and how much of an excellent ninja you’ve become. Then he’ll slide some advice in on strategies with the information you told him.

I think he’s the best at helping you wind down after a mission, but he’s not there to do it very often because he’s busy a lot. When does though, he greets you at the door, runs you a bath and makes you something to eat. Then you can lay in bed or on the couch together and you can tell him all about the mission. Also if you return the favour when he comes back from missions, he will melt again.

Omoi

You love him, you really do but sometimes his over analyzing situations problem really gets on your nerves. Like he can be like “you wore a light sweater instead of a heavier one, does that mean you don’t want to stay out that long?” And ur like: bruh I just wore this sweater because it looked cuter.

He can also be more negative in situations (he’s cautious so he wants to always factor in the worst worst worst case scenarios) so it would be amazing if you could balance him out without getting hot headed with him. Like giving him some positive things to think about instead of focussing all on the bad will get him to be more reasonable, but only if youre the one to say it.

Will also 10/10 force you to listen to Bee’s rapping with him. If he’s forced to stay and suffer through front row seats of his masters horrible rapping, you best believe he’s making you suffer too. It’s a relationship afterall, so that means he’s gonna constantly drag you into things that are kinda crazy.

He gets lost in his thoughts a lot so you sometimes gotta keep him on track. Like you may have been talking about what you should eat for dinner, but he ends up talking about agriculture, so you have to cut in and make the decision yourself.

All his wild imaginative thoughts get you curious so when you’re just hanging out on a lazy day. You’ll set him on a ramble and he could just talk and talk and talk and you’ll nod your head until your sleeping quietly on his shoulder. He won’t notice until he asks you if you agree or something and you don’t reply. He would have been offended if you weren’t so cute.

Also, you wanna know what gets him going? So, sorta like what I said about Genma, If you just take that lollipop right out of his mouth and put it in yours... he’s gone, you’ve just sent him into another dimension and you probably can’t bring him back, it’s also a good way to get him to stop talking.

Man, Omoi just likes kissing. Like he doesn’t care what kind of kiss as long as its a kiss. He likes giving quick kisses on your lips and also on your cheek and likes when you do the same for him.

I think he likes being the big spoon when you’re cuddling but he doesn’t mind either way. Like if you wanna attach yourself to him one day then he will let you. He likes to talk while you’re cuddling too and probably ends up with his forehead resting in the crook of your neck. That’s like his go to spot.

He has a very good imagination so the two of you are always going on cool dates. Some of them turn out amazing, others result in you two running for your life. It’s never a dull date, though!

This also means he can get you the oddest gifts. Like sometimes he can really hit the mark with some really cool necklace or gadget, and other times your like: why did you think I would need a slug statue? Or like he’ll get you some obscure poster and it won’t even match your rooms colour theme. It’s okay though, it’s the thought that counts and even then, the gifts are still cool. I mean you can put the slug statue on your balcony, it’ll look nice there.

He doesn’t mind pda, I think he’d be really affectionate tbh. He loves slinging an arm around your waist or shoulders, or giving you a quick kiss. Like Genma, he doesn’t mind showing off his s/o. Like yes! All the villagers can admire this badass duo.

It may kill him, but he would ask Karui for relationship advice. She would probably just mess with him for the most part. That being said, Karui and you will get along 1000%. Lowkey likes you more than Omoi.

He needs to know you can take care of yourself in the event of an enemy attack, so he lowkey might surprise you with a sneak attack at random times, just to make sure you’re prepared. Like you could be watching tv at home and he just sneaks up on you and is like “boom! This is an enemy attack? Whatcha gonna do?” At first you would get scared, now you just sigh and walk away.

“What? So you’re just gonna walk away from the enemy? That’s not how this stuff works!”

Hi there! I'm new to The Lost Boys community (I saw the movie about three days ago and I deep dived in XD) and I really admire your works and posts. I'm a little shy about talking to everyone but I hope to eventually start writing and join the fandom on here. You're a wonderful writer and I was wondering if you, or any other writers you know, had any key points/tips for writing the boys?

While I saw the movie for the first time YEARS ago, I actually only joined the fandom here on Tumblr a few weeks ago myself, and it's been a really wonderful experience so far! I think you'll really enjoy it once you get settled in; everyone I've interacted with has been nothing but kind and supportive, and that's the kind of energy I'm trying to put back out into the community. ☺️

I can't speak for how anyone else writes them/how others in the fandom view the boy's or their personalities, but I can give you some tips for each of the boys when I write them.

This is written more like a general headcanon list (I hope that's okay!), but hopefully it helps you for writing! ☺️

Paul

Paul is the biggest flirt of the group. The other boys do flirt of course, but Paul is always flirting. This also makes Paul the horniest of the four. The boy is handsy. He likes to touch you however he possibly can.

Despite being a flirt, Paul is also very sweet. He's go a sort of childlike sincerity buried underneath the top layer of horny teenager. So once he's in love, he's in love. An absolute sap. A lost puppy that will follow you everywhere and whine when you're gone or not paying enough attention to him.

I'm going to be 100% real; he's the dumbest of the four, but it just makes him cuter in my opinion. Doesn't always get things unless they're spelled out for him (or he's already in on the joke).

Things he really loves: his look, rock music, and pot.

He's BFFs with Marko and if the four of them aren't together the two are usually hanging out as a pair. Paul is not really the kind of person to enjoy the pleasure of his own company (unless he's doing something *personal*...if you get my meaning)

If he messes up and upsets you/you have a fight he's not the best at apologies. He'll pout, and stubbornly maintain it wasn't his fault regardless of whose fault it actually was. Eventually though, he'll miss you enough that his need to see you will win out over his need to be right, and he'll come find you. He probably still won't apologize unless the fight was really bad, but he'll pout at you and shoot you sad, puppy dog eyes until you you give in and let him grab you for a huge hug and a flurry of make-up kisses.

Will kiss you anywhere anytime with anyone watching. Will start making out in front of the guys and just, try to go all the way with them all right there. He doesn't care if he has an audience.

Marko

Marko kind of has these duel personalities, and I think that's why he's so chaotic.

On the one hand you've got this wild child, chaos incarnate, ball of pure energy that will literally fight anyone. Then on the other you've got this deceptively smart, sweet, sensitive boy who keeps pigeons. (No, I'm serious)

Marko is a little shit though. Facts.

Loves to fight. When he's out on the boardwalk just loves a good scrape. As a vampire gets a sadistic thrill out of killing. He has no qualms about what he is and won't apologize for it.

He's incredibly sarcastic and enjoys teasing. If he wasn't being sarcastic he would physically die. Making you blush from teasing you is one of his greatest joys in life.

Marko is smart. He's always watching everything that's happening, taking mental notes. Doesn't mean he won't run into situations without thinking like a huge dumbass sometimes, but he has the capacity for higher thought.

Because he's smart, David trusts him with more responsibility, making him a sort of defacto second. (We actually see some of this in the movie, I swear I'm not pulling this from nowhere...)

While he is a little shit, he doesn't actually want to hurt the people he cares for. He is fiercely loyal, and cares deeply about those close to him. He would never want to take his teasing too far, and if he did he would make up for it by making himself look like a fool or by performing some grand gesture.

Marko doesn't have much of a temper when it comes to his s/o(other people, oh yes, you, no), but if you do get into a fight and he knows it's his fault he'll own up to it and apologize. He doesn't want to leave things messed up between the two of you. If it's not his fault, he'll give you a chance to apologize, but even if you don't he'll probably just let it go unless the fight was really serious because he just wants you around again.

Marko is more sensitive then he lets on. He enjoys time to himself to just listen to music and pet his birds. It's his time to unwind and be alone when you normally spend every waking moment with three other guys.

Marko is totally fine with PDA. He likes to pull you into his lap and kiss you, and doesn't care who's there to see it. That said, he won't go as far as Paul. He's got some standards.

Dwayne

Stoic. The strong, silent type--but we all pretty much know that, right?

Dwayne is a tired single mother of three and he needs a vacation.

Constantly having to pull Marko out of fights and pull Paul away from girls they're not actively hunting.

If you're in a relationship with all of them and the two of them gang up on you to tease you Dwayne is the one who will keep an eye on you and make sure they don't take things too far. He'll even rescue you from David if he thinks he's being too mean to you, though he'll catch hell for it later.

Dwayne is very protective of you. If you're out in public he wants keep you close by unless you go off with one of the others. If anyone tries to hit on you he will stare them down so threateningly that they piss themselves.

Dwayne isn't really a fan of PDA. He likes to hold your hand when you're out, but he doesn't usually go in for too many kisses in public. He'll accept any you give him though, and if you try and sit in his lap or hold onto him it's not like he'll push you away. He's just not going to initiate anything like that himself while you're out.

When you're in private, Dwayne is very affectionate. He loves holding you in his arms. Just, all the time. Anytime. Enjoys small, sensual moments rather than wild make-out sessions.

Is a very good listener. Doesn't usually give advice, but he's great at just listening to everyone else's problems. The other boys always go to him when they need to vent.

You literaly never get in fights. Like, if you have a "fight" it's 100% some sort of misunderstanding on your part, and Dwanye will try and calm you down and bend over backwards to try and make you feel better.

Likes to spend time on his own reading. It's one of his ways of decompressing.

Just because he is kind, doesn't mean he isn't still one of the guys. If they're playing some sort of game or prank, he'll 100% join in, and have fun doing it. He is a teenage vampire.

David

David is an asshole. That's it. That's the list.

Genuinely though, he likes being a bit of a jerk; teasing you until he takes it just a little too far, then enjoying the process of making you forgive him.

He's always the one in control of every situation he's in. Period. When he's with the boy's? He's the leader. He decides what they're doing. When it's just the two of you? He's the boss. He's in charge. He's got all the authority.

David isn't opposed to PDA per say; if you're out in public he'll usually keep his hands to himself, or just keep it light, like have his arm around you. If he really wants to be affectionate or tease you, he'll pull you into an ally or under an overpass so less people will see.

If you don't go along with everything he says you'll fight. A lot. They'll probably get bad at times, depending on how stubborn you are. He'll be furious; of all the boys, David is the only one who really gets angry. He's never going to admit he's wrong, you'll never get an apology. He'll say really hurtful things if it's a bad fight, and if you don't come back after awhile he'll eventually come looking for you. He'll say the boys miss you, and that's the closest thing you'll get to an invitation.

David has a lot on his shoulders as the leader, and that kind of isolates him front the other boys at times. Sometimes it feels like the three of them plus David. He enjoys the power he gets as the leader, but he also doesn't get to be as part of the group as much because he has more responsibility.

He's genuinely got a lot of love and affection in him. Both for you and for the boys. But he's also probably the most jaded of the boys, so his real feelings are usually buried under layers of sarcasm and ice. It's very rare that you will get him to open up about his real feelings. If you do, it's usually just a quick glimpse before his wall is back up.

a/n: i recently got my hair cut (i vibe with it now) and was inspired to write this !

since its canon yaku loves short haired girls he’d be living for your new haircut

you got it over the weekend so he sees you with it for the first time at school on monday

“y/n you cut your hair?”

“mhm, but my hairstylist cut it a bit shorter than usual, why does it look bad?”

when yaku sees your face grow worried he immediately says

“no! you look beautiful!”

you still don’t think it suits you but yaku’s words make you smile

throughout the day yaku keeps looking at you bc of how good you look in short hair

don’t get him wrong, he loved your longer hair too

but smthing abt your short hair made you even more cuter than before

later that day you end up going to the vbc’s practice and watch off the sidelines

you’re playing with the tips of your hair, still iffy abt the length

“yaku loves girls with short hair”

you turn to see kai standing beside you drinking a bottle of water

“he does?”

“yup, found out in first-year, kuroo can vouch for me.”

semi has entered the conversation

ushi glances at you and the other guy before walking over and pulling you into him
