So I’m waiting for my default skins to update to continue my legacies and in the meantime I’m playing in CAS. I did a rewatch of all the Harry Potter movies with my boyfriend, who watched only the first one back in the day, and of course I fell into the HP seasonal (or in my case yearly) loop. I’m a basic bitch and of course my favourite character is Snape. So I made an unwashed, teen Severus in the Sims 4. I tried to stay faithful to the book’s description, ‘cause we all know Alan Rickman was voted one the 100s sexiest man of all time.

if hogwarts actually existed…. and i had defense against the dark arts!!! AND HAD REMUS LUPIN AS THE PROFESSOR, i would walk up to him and cry on him and tell him all my problems and occasionally call him “dad” or “father”. I WOULD SEE HIM AS A ACTUAL FATHER FIGURE 🫶 along with severus. Think i would skip the lunch thing to go to their rooms and just feel the comfort of them there tbh.

Possible Fanfiction??

Throughout my entire life, I have always loved writing and for most of that time, I have been utterly obsessed with the Marauders. I want to write fanfiction, I have in the past but mostly for only myself and maybe a few other people. I want to write fanfiction... and I have an idea but I want to make sure it is something that people would read or that people find interesting.

First and foremost I want to do a multiship kind of thing and at the moment Jegulus has been swarming my mind so it will probably centralize that but that doesn't mean there won't be other prominent ships within my writing. I am also a huge Wolfstar shipper; as is everyone else. I also would like to include ships such as Mary and Lily, Barty and Evan, and Marlene and Dorcas (all of them are my favorites and if you don't like them I am sorry but I won't be able to delve into a story I am not 100% invested in) I know that these ships are basic but... basic is comforting to me.

Anyway, to the actual fanfiction idea. I want to do a Bridgerton AU. I was playing around with how I would want to do this in my head and obviously I am not going to be revealing everything but... I think it could work really well. I love very detailed metaphorical writing and I really wanna bring on the sappy romantic angsty torture. I am thinking of dividing up the ships just as the Bridgerton books are where every season focus' on a new ship. I would like to initially focus on Jegulus in the beginning but there will be an introduction to each of the ships in the first season for sure.

Obviously, some things are going to need to change which would make it historically inaccurate. Not that Bridgerton is historically accurate but by any means. The changes that are going to have to be made is who is eligible to be the diamond of the season and I think I am going to change it to whoever the family elects for that season the one running through. Obviously, some of these decisions are based on age but as for gender if a mother needs a head of the house than her son will not be eligible to become a diamond. James is an only child and therefore will not be able to become a diamond as he is required to learn how to take care of the house. Effy and Monty will have no choice but to remain diamondless- As for the house of the Blacks, Sirius through Walburga's opinion is nowhere near diamond material and therefore the responsibility gets passed to Regulus. Sirius and James would have traditionally been within the same season but because of Sirius' parents' belief, Regulus will be the one searching for a true love match. I also think it's going to be super fun to mess around with the whole Lady Whistledown situation.

PLEASE, if you see this tell me if you would be interested. If anyone says that would read it I will start figuring out the details of the first season. I am literally so excited about this and would love nothing more than other people's support for it.

Planning a school-wide event just before the Christmas holiday? What was she thinking? If it all fell through, it wouldn't just be herself that she would be letting down, and she wasn't sure she could take that.

"No."

"But—"

"You're not going to be able to convince me, Van."

It was a rare and unusual sight to see Gwendolyn Montague so frazzled. The girl with the untamable hair and a golden disposition had been stressing over the showcase for weeks, planning and going over every little detail multiple times in order to ensure that everything was perfect. Gone was her sunny attitude as the storm clouds began to set in while she felt like she was at her wits end.

Were there going to be enough empty rooms? Were all of the submissions in? Where would everything go? How would they even get people to come? Every free evening that Gwen devoted to the club was spent asking these questions and trying to come up with a suitable answer in time.

And beyond that, as the day of the event drew closer, the bigger challenge became coordinating all of her people, and Gwen started to feel herself teeter between the urge to micromanage and the desperation to just hope everything fell into place. Yet in that moment as she swept through the music classroom and ensured all of the students' pieces were displayed according, all she hoped was that Vanille Sparks and Ethan Warshaw would stop trailing behind at her heels. Was it really too much to ask for them just to hang posters?

"We just think that it would be better if we could perform in a bigger—"

"—I'm not suggesting to the headmaster that we put you in the Quidditch Pitch for your performance, Warsh." Gwen sighed as she transfigured some spare quills into a stretch of garland. "You'll just have to make do with what you've got."

"Gwen-Doll, pretty please?" Vanille urged, twirling her pinky around the end of the garland as she bundled the posters in her hand into a cone. "It won't even be that cold and who cares if they freeze their asses off for half an hour when we've got a killer set! What's the big deal anyway? You're being so uncool right now."

And that's when she snapped.

"Oh no, I'm being uncool Vanille? Well guess what— it's either the Great Hall or nothing, and even getting that much was a stretch so listen here," Gwen huffed. "The band—and I mean the whole band— is going to be in the Great Hall at 7:45 pm sharp for checks on the 16th and you are going to perform, on that stage, as intended. No surprises, no last minute changes or drama, and if I hear you or Warsh complain one more time about the size of the space, you can take your Devil's snare and shove it right up your arse!!!!"

The rest of the students hanging their work around the room turned to glance around at the commotion and Gwen felt a little burst of guilt as she saw the stunned looks on the band's faces. "No....no, I'm sorry, that came out strong," she sighed. "It's just not going to happen, loves."

"It's alright, we'll make do," Ethan gave an uneasy look toward Vanille and wrapped his arms around her shoulders, pulling her away before she could say anything further. "Don't worry, Gwen! It's gonna be great."

She certainly hoped so.

HogwARTS Club: Christmas Showcase @magicallymalted Dawn and Rosa belong to the lovely @potionboy3

Rosa and Jupiter squeezed through the doors leading to the old theatre on the fourth floor, a ridiculous amount of plants floating around them.

‘We’re gonna turn this theatre into a forest,’ Rosa giggled as she guided the plants to their designated place. The past few weeks, the two girls and Dawn had spent all of their free time planning every little detail about the set. They all agreed that if they needed one thing, it was plants, lots of them, preferably growing as they performed and Rosa was happy to help. The spell had been tricky to work out yet somehow they had managed to make trees grow in the exact time they needed.

As the theatre had seats going all around, they figured it best for the stage to be set up in a circle. Jupiter and Dawn would be in the centre, surrounded by growing trees and a few other musician friends that were so kind to support them for the evening. Looking at the scenery, Jupiter’s eyes started to sparkle. It was definitely going to be the most impressive set design they ever did. And she couldn't wait for the others to finally see it.

‘Are you nervous?’ Rosa checked in with her after she didn't speak for a while. Jupiter smiled. ‘A little but I’m more so excited. Dawn and I seem to make a good team and it’s always fun to jam with him.’

‘We do!’ Dawn’s voice suddenly echoed through the room as he stumbled in, carrying his guitars. ‘I’m so ready to reveal our most intimate thoughts and feelings, oh, and Jimmy’s private life to the whole of Hogwart!’ He laughed. ‘We’ve been dreaming this up forever!’

‘I’m not sure if he’s gonna kill us or cry,’ Jupiter chuckled.

‘You’re safe, little poet! We all know he’s whipped. I on the other hand? Will probably take the heat for both of us. But what can I say? His misery is inspiring.’

‘This is gonna be great!’ Jupiter beamed.

‘Me dying?’

‘No! Oh god, the concert!’

Dawn just laughed as he set down his guitars. ‘For a second I thought this whole thing was just a set-up to get rid of me.’

‘Well—’

Dawn gasped in shock. Jupiter couldn’t stop herself from laughing.

‘Oh, I see how it is—sunshine Jupiter is just an act, huh? I should’ve known when I took that punch on Halloween. It was intentional, was it?’

‘You really are such a drama queen,’ Jupiter shook her head and continued setting up the stage.

Dawn’s eyes glimmered as he shrugged and got to work as well, linking up everything. ‘It makes life so much more interesting.’

Time flew by as the friends finished up and went through one more practice session. The concert was getting closer and Jupiter and Dawn were growing more excited by the minute. Usually, she would’ve felt a little nauseous at the thought of performing in front of so many people yet Dawn’s presence and his inexcusable enthusiasm, she couldn't believe it herself, somehow reassured her. Oddly calm, Jupiter made sure everything was ready and set, as Dawn sped through the room like a bouncy ball, trying to keep himself busy before it was finally time to open the doors.

Sitting on the sidelines they watched their fellow students crowd in and find their seats. All their friends had come to watch them. Heck, even Jimmy seemed to be thrilled; everything felt like it was going to be perfect. Excited, Jupiter bumped into Dawn. ‘Ready?’

‘You bet,’ he beamed back at her as Gwen stepped into the arena to announce them.

Right on cue, the lights went dark and the soothing sounds of the ensemble started lifting the darkness.

Just imagine it's Dawn and Jupiter sitting there.
