Donella's Backstory continuation:

With Cyrus and Donella out of Ingvarr, they continue pursuing improvement for the weaponry for the royals, visiting first.... Ammm.... *brbrbrbbrrbrb*

Whatever place where Donella started to work deeper with engines and friccion , yep, near to electricity but not enough to play "Benjamin Franklin" role, yes, she saw the power of thunder, but a manageable amount and how to get it was her goal.

Meanwhile, they afforded everything with each improvement to the weapons, Ingvarr royality would send money in exchange of the blueprints.

She learned the ways of magic in Bayangor, along with the science of pyrotechnics, that gave her a reason to go back to Ingvarr to try metals not available in this place to try and energize then.

Good timing, Cyrus got called to go back to Ingvarr, the smiths and artisans were not capable of making them work, he needed to come and do it himself

He bought Donella with him, they checked the materials and they noticed some were sustituyed by iron, that was why it didn't work, they have to visit the storage of minery to watch the true amount of the materials to work

It's not enough, Cyrus asks to be leaded to the mines and make sure it's correctly worked on, they go and, realize there are even less people working here than in the typical carbon, gold and iron ones, here the air stings, and going deeper is unbearable.

The only way to mine more of this material, is improving the safety gear for the workers, they try and try, but, the technology they know if insufficient.

Ingvarr royality assumed Cyrus was a liar, a waste of time and resources, Donella argued about the true value of this work.

There was a mysandtic comment about how male warriors couldn't handle this topic as their female warriors, then Donella confessed she was the true author of this investigation

Only to get them angry about getting lied to before by Cyrus, and then , make racist comments about how a not true Ingvarr woman shouldn't mess with their original designs and properties of their weapons, no wonder her designs are so impossible and desillusional.

They got dismissed, but on her fury, Donella took her prototype weapon she actually did funcional an attacked

In summarized summary

Both endup charged by the law and being fugitives

They offered the improves to criminal gangs

There were good buyers, but the common wrong use done by the lower escales of the jeriarchy made the weapons feared and buyed just for collection and intimidation, not actual use.

Keep experimental weapons for themselves, buyed and re-selled others weapons of their recommendation, then they started to forge in their own in more numbers.

Time to expand, they came back to Ingvarr borders, people who payed their exit and didn't came back to the mines, Don and Cy went undercover to convince people and make them employees or business partners

But people here doesn't want, don't take this seriously, most of them just harvest the minimal rations to survive and chill.

New tactic, go to another borderlands with this similar british people, play "propagandists" in order to plant a seed of revenge desires , wouldn't it be a nice idea to raise a rebelion and free the people inside the walls from the explotation they endure in the mines?

People now actually care, the plan is working, now is the turn to sell the weapons, but people doesn't want to buy them, they expected them to be for free.

Don and Cy are angry at the gang who tried to rob them of their stock, so, they just figth back easily and go to another town.

In this other place, they find (as well, with british culture ) an auction of wifes , what? , divorces are to expensive and mostly banned, but if the wife is sold to someone else, the name of the husband just changes on paper (based on a little historycal clip I saw reciently)

They meet a gang leader, finally an actual good client, they try to not ask about what is his business about, but it's too clear, this guy buys all the blonde wifes auctioned, get them pregnant and sell the babies to people in other richer towns, european based.

This guy business is getting good profit, as long as the ladies don't lose their pregnancy, but the need of buying weapons is because his business rivals are becoming agressive, some cabarets owners wanted to buy the blondes he buyed first and now they are trying to steal the ladies and the girl babies.

Well, looks like those "agressive rivals" can be good weapons clients, Don and Cy wish him good luck and thank his purchase.

And this become their new status quo, visiting towns and kingdoms getting clients in secret, experimenting with improvement, and turning groups against each other.

Synopsis: Queen Hwaryeong is supposed to act with grace and dignity, but she has sons who are troublemaker princes. She gives up on those protocols and she struggles to change her sons into eligible princes through education.

Positives: It's really beautiful and sweet drama. The queen is really the main star and she steels the show for herself. She is the best, I was rooting for her and her sons a lot. There are beautiful costumes, amazing soundtrack, cute and also sad moments This show has everything.

Negatives: I really have a problem to fully understand the relationships in the royal court and it took me few episodes to familiarise myself with all the characters. I also wasn't that impressed about the romance part, but it's not the main storyline.

Conclusion: Very good costume drama, perfect balance between classical historycal story full of intriques and feel good drama about family, motherhood and love.
