कभी कभी मैं सोचती हूं की प्यार क्या है? क्या प्यार वो है जो मैने कभी किया ही नहीं या फिर वो है जो मैं आजकल करना भूल गई हूं और याफिर वो है जिसे मैं हररोज हर क्षण करती आरही हूं, मुझे न ऐसा लगता है की मैं हर उस इंसान से, वस्तुओ से, जगहों से,आदतों से, भावनाओ से, लफ्जो से, और प्रशंसाओ से बनी हूं जिनसे मैं प्यार करती हूं, पर यार ये प्यार करना आखिर सिखाता कौन है? आखिर ये हम सब को बताता कौन है की प्यार नाम का अर्थ क्या है? और कोई ये क्यों नही बताता की हम सबसे ज्यादा प्यार इस दुनिया में खुदसे करते है भले ही हम नही मानते, पर हम उसीसे प्यार करते है जो हमारी उन चीज़ों से प्यार करता हो जिनसे हम बने है। आखिर कोई ये क्यों नही बताता।

शाम को चाई की एक टपरी पर गया था ,

आज मैने खुदको वहां बहुत ही अकेला पाया ,

सोचा था कि घर से थोड़ा बाहर हो आऊगा तो अच्छा लगेगा

पर जब में वहां पोहचा तो!!!

वो स्टव चिल्ला रहा था जिस पे चाई रखी थी,

रास्तों पे कुछ गाड़ियां अपने पहीये रगड़े भाग रही थी,

शाम अपनी क्षितिज पे थी

और थोड़ा अंधेरा होने को था,

मैने चाई ली और अपने होठ पर लगाई थोड़ी पी थोड़ी यू ही छोड़ दी।

चाय के कप से उठती वह भाप मुझे अतीत की और खींचे ले गई

मेने फिर खुदको अकेला पाया

किसी और रास्ते के छोर पे खड़ी चाय की टपरी पर

उस दिन बारिश थी ।

भीग जाने के डर से में भाग कर वहा चला गया

में भीगा भी नही था बारिश से की फिर तुम दिखाई दी

हाथ में छाता लिए रास्ते से गुजर रही थी

पता नही तुमने क्यों देखा था मेरी और यूं!!

पर वो तुम्हारा मुझे यूं देखना ...!!

में पूरी तरह भीग गया ,

मुझे भीगना नही था।

Haan aur ek baat yaad rakhna

ki koi deewana sa tha hai aur rehega intezaar mein tere

Aur Kabhi gujre hum aapke khayal mein phir se wohi milenge intezaar mein tere

Wohi waqt wohi ghadi aur wohi Dil liye

Ki tu wapis aaye humare zindagi mein iss tereh

पता नही क्यों मुझे हरदम ऐसा लगता आया है की मैं एक गहरी नींद में हूं और एक बुरा ख्वाब आने के कारण मेरी नींद खुल जाती है। और फिर नाही मुझमें उस अंधेरे में जाके ख्वाब देखने का मन होता है और नाही मैं चैन से सो पाती हूं फिरसे।

शायद दिल टूटना भी किसी बुरे ख्वाब के कारण नींद से जागने की तरह ही होता होगा, नाही ये दिल किसी को फिर से अंदर आने की इजाजत देना चाहता है और नाही इसे खुदको मरहम लगाने वाला कोई चाहिए
