It was the middle of July and despite Tim’s aspirations as a kid, he did not, in fact, have a job that gave him summers off. As such, it was a miserable affair, getting to and from work. Usually Tim would be in an airy t-shirt and shorts but Jon had caught sight of his Hawaiian themed top last week and it had been a close thing to avoid being forced to go home and change. It would be a few weeks before he could get away with such a ‘blatant display of disrespect for work procedures’, as Jon put it, so here he was: sweating his ass off on the tube and praying to whatever god would listen that they’d fixed the AC at the Institute.
     God never did like Tim.
“Christ above, does Elias want us dead or something?” Tim cried to the room at large as he dropped heavily onto his spinny chair. It was stifling. “What did we ever do to him, huh?? Did someone submit a statement about Bigfoot again?” He immediately started popping buttons on his ‘work appropriate’ shirt.
Sasha popped her head up from her cubicle and grinned at him. Her waist-length braids had been piled sloppily on top of her head and she looked about ready to topple over from the imbalance. She’d already shed her top layer down to a simple purple tank top but she still had a sheen of sweat on her brow that had her large round glasses slipping down her nose.
“Pretty sure it’s cause Gerry called him an old codger and compared him to the statement giver from the McGregor case last week. He’s out for revenge now.”
Tim wrinkled his nose. “What, the stuffy one with the cane who wouldn’t shut up about how the Tories are implementing a surveillance state?”
“The very same,” Sash confirmed, pushing her glasses back up with a hand. “Though I personally think Elias would be very pro Big Brother. Did I tell you he asked after my aunt the other week?”
“You told Elias about Matilda’s lung cancer?”
“That’s just it! The only person I told about that was you, and I’m pretty sure you didn’t run off to tattle to Elias.” She leaned forward in her chair conspiratorial and Tim couldn’t help but do the same. Sash was magnetic when she was like this. It had led to more than one rendezvous in their first year at the Institute. “I think he has cameras down here.”
It wasn’t the most insane theory she’d come up with, somehow. Just two months ago she’d followed Jon home because she didn’t believe he actually had a home; she’d thought he’d been sleeping in the Institute of all places. Besides, there was that feeling of being watched that pervaded this place. Still, Tim couldn’t help but laugh.
“I think we’d know if he had cameras, Sash. Did I tell you what he-”
“What fresh hell is this?” The voice from the doorway was flat and scathing and Tim immediately spun in his chair to grin at the intruder.
“Gerry!” He called happily. “I didn’t know you were coming in today!” He was wearing his signature black trenchcoat and a scowl that did things to Tim. Luckily for both of them, Tim was well guarded against Gerry’s scary-sexy goth vibe by virtue of sharing a flat with him. There were only so many times you could get a chub from simply looking at your roommate before your prick just gave up on the enterprise entirely.
“There’s a statement I need but this is fucking ridiculous.” His voice was as deep and rough as it always was but the angry edge to it managed to send a little zing down Tim’s spine. The days that Gerry showed up at work are always so interesting. “It’s at least 10 degrees hotter in here than it is outside. The fuck is Elias thinking?”
“Gonna rough him up for us, Ger?” Tim asked with a grin and Sasha laughed. “Stomp on him a little with those boots of yours? 10 quid says he’s into it.” Gerard shot him a look but there was a smile playing around his lips, pulling slightly at the snakebite piercings there. His makeup that day was the same as it usually was, eyeliner and three exaggerated lower lashes that made his gaze all the more intense. Thank god for the aforementioned Roommate Protection. Especially when Gerry’s eyes swept over Tim before meeting his eyes again and giving a mocking little smile. His eyes were slate grey and impossible to look away from.
“Projecting much, Stoker?” He asked in a low tone. It was teasing and Sasha cackled but Tim’s brain stuttered and properly died. What did one say when a hot goth implied that you maybe wanted him to stomp on you with his giant sexy boots? Especially when it was true.
“What, you wanna find out, Keay?” Tim shot back. That was good. Keep it light, let it plausibly pass for playful workplace banter – a little bit of light flirting to keep thoughts of the heat at bay. Gerry arched a brow at him, face betraying nothing but that same cool amusement. Sasha snorted and shook her head, turning back to her computer.
“You two are ridiculous,” she told them. Tim shrugged, eyes still on Gerry, and then Jon’s office door creaked open.
“Oh good, you’re here, Gerard.” Gerry’s eyes flicked away. “You said you needed the Anderson file?”
“Yeah, that’s the one,” Gerry said. He passed by Tim’s desk to take the file from Jon. Tim turned back to his desk. “By the way, your workplace is a HSE violation waiting to happen.”
“Yes, I am quite aware,” Jon said drily. “Make sure to get that one back to me by the end of the day. And not stinking of smoke this time, Gerard. I have more notes I plan to add to it.”
     “No promises.”
・・・
Inevitably, it was Tim who had to go hunt Gerry down at a quarter to five to get the file back. Luckily the fire exit to the left of the stairs to the archives was conspicuously propped open by an unopened carton of cigarettes and Tim pushed outside into the slightly cooler summer air.
Gerard was lounged on the steps leading to the back alley, facing away from the door with the file open at his feet and a lit cigarette in hand. He’d tied his hair up sloppily, much like Sasha had hers, but it was so long that black sheets of it still cascaded down his bare shoulders. His trenchcoat had been completely abandoned, laid out on the step beside him, and he was left only in a crop top Tim had never seen before. It was made of a sheer grey material that matched his eyes and had no sleeves to speak of. Even worse, Gerry had a hand tucked under his shirt, shucking the top halfway up his chest. His alabaster skin shone in the dim light of the setting sun and Tim nearly took a tumble down the steps when Gerry tilted his head back to look back at him.
“What?” Gerry asked in a gravelly voice when he caught Tim staring. Tim opened his mouth to respond but he suddenly found himself incapable of speech. Gerry rolled his eyes and turned his head languidly back forward, lifting his cigarette to his lips. “AC’s broken inside but it’s barely any cooler out here. Don’t be a prude.”
That surprised a laugh out of Tim. “A- A prude?!” He choked out. Never in his life had he been accused of such a thing. And this, this was so far on the opposite side of the scale he wanted to laugh. Or cry. Gerry just blew a smoke ring.
“If you’re here for the file, it’s there.” He kicked at the manila folder at his feet and Tim could hear the wounded noise Jon would make if he were there. Right, Tim had actually come for a reason that wasn’t to ogle Gerry. Supposedly.
“Right.” Tim cleared his throat and picked his way down the steps so as to not step on Gerry. God, did his legs have to be so long? “This thing has gotta reek by now,” he said as he bent down for the file. “Pretty sure the boss man won’t be too happy with you about that one.” He turned back and around and Gerry quickly lifted his eyes. His eyes were a warm hazy grey, much like the smoke drifting around his head.
“Afraid of Sims then, are you?” He drawled. His piercings glinted as he grinned at Tim.
Tim rolled his eyes and made his way back up the steps. He very pointedly kept his gaze on the ground as he did so, enticingly bare torso be damned. “Everything’s a question with you,” he said. “‘Projecting much? Afraid of Sims?’ Just call me a bottom and get on with it.”
Gerry rasped out a chuckle right as Tim reached the top step. Tim hesitated but couldn’t help but glance back down behind him. Gerry’s head was tilted back, hair messy and top askew, and his eyes half lidded against the dying light behind Tim’s head.
“Now where’s the fun in that?”
He was sight to see, all stretched out and half clothed on the steps to the alley. Tim shook his head and turned back inside without another word. Gerry’s rapsing laugh followed him all the way into the archives.
     Damn tease.
SPEECHLESS. SCREAMING CRYING THROWING UP. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED AND MORE THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE HOLY SHIT IM LOSING MY MIND

Psychonauts the Musical Act I
because I'm more awake now. With some inspiration from @loudlychoppedbread's comments.
Opening song: "Welcome to Whispering Rock" --- A lighthearted and fun number --- Starts with the campers & counselors singing separately, then coming together when they reach the campfire. Basically an exposition song for what the camp is, with some minor plot info thrown in (one or two lines about the lake monster). Ends with Oleander getting cut off as Raz falls from a tree.
The I Want Song: "Raz, the Psychonaut" --- A more serious, wistful song, but still somewhat lighthearted --- After being permitted to stay for the night, Raz explains to Dogan how badly he wants to be a Psychonaut. The mood is lightened by Dogan's input (And then you'll make their heads explode?). Takes place on the steps of the boy's cabin & ends before they enter together. However, after getting into his bunk, Raz sings two or three more lines to himself.
Basic Braining: "Battlezone" --- A very generic boot camp song --- The campers start the song on their way to class, mentioning how scary the training is supposed to be (A kid got killed last year). Upon entering Oleander's mind, he takes over as lead singer, going on about his experiences in the war as he guides the campers through his obstacle course. The campers sing backup, but as they get kicked out of Oleander's mind, their voices diminish until they're gone completely and Raz has reached the end.
Camper's song, pt I: Currently, I have no good name --- Mostly lighthearted, but with some darker/sadder undertones when appropriate --- While searching for Sasha's secret lab, Raz runs into various campers. The different groups each get their own verse about their lives. Campers would be those found at the kid's cabin area, around the main lodge, and in the GPC & wilderness area.
Sasha's Shooting Gallary: "Sasha's Immaculate Mind" (that title is way too good I'll never come up with anything better so I'm just going to steal it) --- A simple, structured song that slowly grows more chaotic --- Sasha explains to Raz the importance of controlling one's emotions, pretending to lose control as Raz battles the censors. However, once the Mega Censor appears, his control is gone for real.
Lili's song: "Not Like the Old Days" --- A number that's constantly trying to be a downer, but Raz keeps changing it back to optimistic --- Right after leaving Sasha's lab to go see Milla, he bumps into Lili, and she goes on about how the world doesn't need the Psychonauts anymore, while Raz brings up exciting missions he's read about. Plays out almost like a battle/argument between the two (but a low-stakes one). Ends with Lili's "shut up and kiss me" bit.
Camper's song, pt II: Still no name for this --- Again, mostly lighthearted but with darker/sadder undertones when appropriate --- Raz encounters more campers on his way to the docks. This is a continuation of the previous camper's song, with some of the campers reappearing to give a brief update about themselves. Campers included are those found in GPC & wilderness and at the lake. Ends when Raz sees Dogan coming out of the water, brainless.
Milla's Dance Party: "Roll With It" --- A cheery, disco number with a brief serious bit in the middle --- Milla sings about levitation, with some backup from the campers and/or the party dancers. When Raz stumbles upon the nightmare room, Milla gets serious & explains a bit about the nightmares before encouraging him back to the party and resuming the song as normal.
Brain Tumblr Experiment/Loboto's song: "Why Are You Screaming?" --- Way too upbeat for the subject matter --- Loboto singing about dentistry & removing Dogan's brain while Raz watches on in horror. Ends with Dogan sneezing out his brain.
Lili & Raz song: "Psychic Emergency" --- A fast-paced song brimming with urgency and excitement --- Raz meets Lili by the docks and they compare notes. A bit of a reversal of "Not Like the Old Days," where Lili is enthusiastic and Raz is a little more serious than before. The song derails with Lili's "let's make out" line, and ends with her being abducted by Linda.
End of Act I. Act II here.

Class of Villainy- His Boogey Baby Sister
Hey ya’ll, this is a cute little thing Sparky and I did a while back, for the boogey siblings! I wanted to share it with you! It’s kind of based off the ‘Prince Kiran’ short by Artzy, so thanks to them for that! As always, thanks to @imsparky2002 and @artzychic27! Enjoy!
Some years before the present time, in a house on the outskirts of HalloweenTown, inhabited by a family that only a brief time ago grew from three to four, a young boogey of about eight years old stood with his arms resting on the rails of a crib, smiling down at the sight below him. This boy was none other than the terrifying Ivan Oogie, before some of his greatest evils were committed.
In the crib that he stood beside was his baby sister, Sasha, already a year-and-a-half old. Her hollow eyes were wide and she giggled with malevolent glee as she crushed the skull of a small mouse that had wandered into her reach. Watching this made her elder brother’s smile grow. A mere baby and she already had a love for causing pain and suffering. The perfect little sister, if you asked him.
Ivan would admit, when he learned his mother was pregnant, he had been…on the fence. He didn’t necessarily want competition, or someone for his parents to compare him to incessantly. But the second he laid eyes on the infant Sasha…his cold heart was hers and he knew he would protect her life with his own.
A dark frown crossed his face as he thought of how his parents tried to keep them separated. How they thought he was a ‘bad influence’ on her. They had been talking about it earlier, in fact, unaware that their son was listening from the shadows.
“I just don’ understand. How did we go so wrong twice?”, his mother had said, her face buried in her cloth hands.
“It’s Ivan.”, his father had responded, his tone bitter, “He’s twistin’ our little girl up to be jus’ like him!”
The young boogey scoffed. What a load of hooey! He had seen it the second he looked into his baby sister’s eyes. The same wicked spirit that dwelled within him, it was in her too!
At that moment, Sasha looked up and spotted him, a bright smile that melted his heart a little crossing her face.
“Bubba!”, she gurgled happily (her way of saying ‘Big Brother’), as she held up the dead mouse to show him, proud of her work. Laughing softly, Ivan reached down and ruffled her short, dark hair.
“Nice job, li’l terror.”, he praised, making her smile even bigger and bounce up and down as she sat in her crib.
Ivan retracted his hand and spied his mother watching the two of them from the kitchen door. He gave her a spiteful sneer, before turning back to his little sister, who now had her fingers in her mouth.
“Ma and Pa are real lame, ain’t they?”, he asked her, laughing again when she blew a raspberry in response to the question. He could see how much she hated it, when she would be watching Ivan torture and terrify a victim, all the joy in the world on her face…only for their parents to snatch her away and place her back in this crib. They just HAD to ruin everything! Getting an idea, he spoke to his little sister again.
“Wouldn’ it be great if we got rid of ‘em?”, he asked her, smirking when Sasha’s little face lit up.
“Die, die, die!”, the little boogey girl squealed, clapping her tiny hands, filling her big brother with pride.
“Tha's right, Sassy.”, he nodded, ruffling her hair again, “I'm plenty big ‘nuff to take care’a you on mah own. We don' need them, do we?”
Sasha rapidly shook her head in response. Ivan swore, despite her young age, she understood him better than anyone else.
“Well, then soon enough, we'll kill 'em!”, Ivan promised, “I'll teach ya how to be scary as me, and we'll rule this dumb town!”, and he grinned at the thought of no one ever standing in their way again.
His smile turned soft as Sasha giggled, reaching up and grabbing one of his fingers in her small, delicate hand. He grasped it in his own for a moment, before reaching into the crib and scooping her up. She squealed with joy as her big brother spun her around.
After he rocked her back and forth for a minute or two, Sasha drifted off to sleep in Ivan’s arms. He gave her a soft kiss on the head, before gently laying her back in the crib.
“Yer gonna be a real fright, baby sis. I love you.”, he told her softly, watching her sleep for a moment before he left the room.
And there you have it, folks! Even villains have their soft spots! Leave your thoughts in the comments and reblogs!

Alright I’ve done nothing but scroll through the tags of stuff I like so far, time to actually do the blogging part of this blogging website
So, I have this habit of thinking of elaborate crossover plotlines between everything I’m interested in. In-universe it’s all one continuous thing, but it’s very disjointed when I think of it because I usually just do one scenario and whatever would branch off of it at a time. It’s also framed as a D&D campaign, idk why, it doesn’t really affect how anything happens. Anyway, I will be talking about this crossover thing a LOT, it’s one of the main reasons I even joined this website because I know no one who likes all of the same things and therefore no one who would understand what I’m talking about. There, long opening ramble done.
Right now, the three biggest things for me are Borderlands 3, Psychonauts, and Skulduggery Pleasant
There could be some really interesting parallels between a lot of these characters. Raz, a 10 year old who saved the world multiple times and picked up psychic abilities very quickly, even though he’s definitely too young to be doing so; Valkyrie, an adult who was 12 when she started learning magic and saved the world pretty much annually for, what? 7-ish years? Sasha, a highly skilled psychic secret agent who is perfectly happy to teach Raz how to shoot lasers at will, and was very easily convinced to do some probably-not-safe experiments with him; Skulduggery, a highly skilled sorcerer detective who was perfectly happy to start teaching Valkyrie how to summon flames and displace air at will, and took basically no convincing to bring her along to fight one of the most dangerous people in the country, probably also the world.
Not to mention the parallels that Tanith alone could bring. She was in love with Ghastly for a while, but neither of them confessed in time, and when they finally planned a first date, she got possessed for years and came back to find out he had died while she was gone. Compare that to Sasha and Milla, who are very obviously in love yet will not confess.
Also, this one’s more of a stretch but still there and could still lead to some funny interactions, Tanith and Sanguine compared to Hammerlock and Wainwright. “Brit who fights monsters for a living and man in a brown suit with a strong southern American accent”, but it’s more like looking in a warped mirror than a true parallel. Tanith and Sanguine were only together while Tanith was literally possessed by a being of pure hatred who only wanted the world to end and she hated him at all other times, need I say more?
Anyway.
I want to see interactions between a lot of these characters. What happens if Sasha meets a well-dressed skeleton? What conversations would they have? “How are you uh..” “Walking around? Necromancy. Anyway-“ What about an interaction between Oleander, the guy with heavy trauma related to bunnies who idolises the military, and Tina, the girl who constantly wears a bunny mask and has killed countless people in and out of warfare with little to no remorse?
What if everyone is pulled out of their own worlds and thrown together, forced to work together to somehow find a way home? Maybe spirits are low and no one’s sure what’s going to happen. Maybe Sir Hammerlock decides to start telling a story about some huge monster that he hunted - altered to be less scary and more light-hearted because there’s at least one child present and everyone likes a fun story. Maybe Skulduggery shares a story of his own later, about a comically incompetent bad guy and how he saved the day.
One thing is for certain though: Sasha Nein is the only person to actively find and start a long conversation with Claptrap. He’s way too interested in the idea of a fully sapient robot to be annoyed.
I’ll share some of the more plot-like ideas another time but, yeah. Huge crossover. It lives in my head rent free.

After watching Amphibia end, it's time to properly vent, cry, fanboi/fangirl and compare notes as a grieving fandom. How did you like the finale? Would you change some parts or hang it up and frame it?
I am gonna be brutally honest, this Finale made me cry my eyes out, full on sobbing and it's the first show to do that in a while to me. But I love it.
It's a perfect, sad, and brutal ending to this great show. We got a full calamity trio scene, goodbyes for all three girls, Marcy saying goodbye to Yunan, Olivia and even Andrias despite all he put her through. Sasha and Grime trying to act proffesional only to start sobbing because it's the last they'll see of each other. Anne saying goodbye to the Plantars and giving Sprig her phone, and him reaching out for her as she leaves is just... heartbreaking.
Then we see everyone after all is said and done, The Planters are doing fine with Polly having grown into a full frog and Wartwood unveiling a statue of the girl who broke down all their walls and made them love her. Then back on Earth, Marcy had moved, Sasha and Anne drifted further during high school but still are on good terms. Sasha has a psyche degree and works with children, and Anne fittingly enough is an expert on amphibians, And how they tie it all around with what "The Hardest Thing" actually was, It was saying goodbye. It was letting go of the past.
And the thing is is that it truly was built into the bones of the show. Them going to Amphibia, Wartwood's reluctance to accept Anne, Andrias, The Core and the Calamity box itself. It's all about refusing to face change. It's scary, It's fudging terrifying and I know it. But it's worth it, It's always worth it and I love that they made that the final message.
It does deserve a frame, It deserves one in a museum because it was perfect. Painful and Brutal but perfect. I honestly cried to my mom because of how much it hurt but that's just what a well crafted ending does I guess.
I loved it, I'm so glad I found this show and experienced such an amazing thing, I just hope it isn't the end for all of us, I hope fan content still shows up and we still share how much we love this show, it deserves it that's for sure.

Yandere Sasha, Connie and Jean (separate) headcanons? Thank you!
Sasha as a yandere is.. well.. very clingy! She always wants your attention. It’s overwhelming, but she’s so sweet that you don’t think she’s being obsessive at all! She has a way of making you not think she has any truly ill intentions. She seems mostly tame, compared to a lot of other yanderes. She is under the understanding that neither of you can accept laying back and doing nothing while titans take your freedoms, she’s all for fighting alongside you. She isn’t overly protective either! Sure, she has her moments of protectiveness, to the point it’s scary, but still!! She seems to not be that bad in general, other than the fact she is literally always around! One time she started bawling because she couldn’t find you for a whole 20 minutes! But overall she’s great! She’s extremely generous, always giving you food. You don’t know where she gets all that food from, but it’s Sasha so you don’t question it. It’s become her way of wooing you. Eventually, you’ll see the cracks. That strange meat you’ve been eating, were old comrades. Were they ones she just found because a Titan had killed them, or had she done it herself out of jealousy? Honestly, it’s hard to tell. It’s good meat though, is it not? She certainly thinks so :)
Jean is insanely jealous, unfortunately. Believe it or not, it gets worse when you start dating. He probably assumes you like pretty much any guy you’re talking to for too long. He definitely got into fights with Eren a lot because of it, but it just made him look like some insecure piece of shit. He may get mad at you at times as well, and you two will get into arguments. His jealousy is obviously unhealthy, and unrealistic and to the point of being delusional. However, he will eventually realize he was being “overdramatic” and will apologize. He never wants to upset you! He’s just scared of being second best! If you really don’t address this and try to get him to really understand you love him, he might be driven to kill the person he’s jealous of. Other than the jealousy though he is one of the tamest yanderes out there. He likes to get you things if possible, as much as he can. He loves being with you, giving you kisses and cuddles and he even draws you! It’s all sweet and romantic, even if it’s … constant… to the point of being a bit overbearing… he’s very protective, if that wasn’t obvious with how jealous he gets. He can be a little much, like Sasha he’s very clingy but not quite to her extent.
Connie is stalkerish, he isn’t the type to quietly stalk and not do anything though! He makes an effort to be a close friend, somebody you can trust and rely on. In fact maybe you’ve confided in him about feeling like you’re being watched! Connie is so empathetic about it, just telling you that he’ll always be there for you to keep you safe. It’s become an easy way to manipulate you into thinking you need him to keep you safe. Even though in his earlier years he was so tiny and scrawny, so goofy. But he just had a way of making you believe he could do anything. He knows a lot about you, you would be alarmed but he’s your boyfriend now! Of course he knows a lot about you! Since when was he your boyfriend?? Since forever?? Really?? He’s really good at the gaslighting bit, despite not being the smartest guy around. Perhaps it’s the charisma that just draws you in. As time goes by though, you’ll notice as the taller he gets, the tougher and less scrawny he is the more he tries to protect you. The more believable it becomes that he can do that, that it isn’t some lie he’s keeping up in order to get you to stick around. He genuinely believes he can do anything as long as you’re around. Perhaps he’s getting a little delusional, though.

I'm sorry for sending many requests 😭 but I saw something and I had to show you! I was reading about spellchecker mistakes and this popped up:
"Once, close to Christmas, I was wondering if we were going to work the day before, I asked “Hi boss, good afternoon. Are we going to have sex tomorrow? ”. He was on the second floor and you could hear his laughter in the entire office."
I thought it would be funny a levi x reader from that 😂 you pick if it's gonna be platonic or romantic!
ahhhh this is so funny I love it! Tbh it took me way too long to understand what was happening but now I get it and I think it’s so cute.
Summary: You make a typo in an email to your boss.
Word Count:  1.3K
__
You leaned back in your chair and swiveled around to look out at the snowy city. Fat flakes of snow were spiraling down from the sky, you felt like a little kid when that familiar excitement that came with a good snow gathered in your chest. It was nearly Christmas, a time that wasn't celebrated in your office, your boss, Levi was only just recently warming up to the idea of allowing a birthday party for him to be thrown. Behind his back you had heard the interns calling him a slew of mean names: Grinch, scrooge, and even comparing him to that scary neighbor in home alone. You hadn't said anything, simply because you knew that they weren't wrong, but also you knew that Levi was deeper than the front that he put on. You turned around and decided to get up and grab a cup of tea, and probably one for Levi too.
You had gotten to know him well over the past four years that you had worked under him. He was a particular man, who loathed small talk, coffee, you assumed he hated children, and he also hated parties. You had invited him over to your humble apartment once for a beer and movie night with Erwin, Hange, Mike, and Nanaba. He had surprisingly showed, but proceeded to complain and be an absolute sourpuss the whole evening. You marched out of your small office and into the even smaller kitchen, where you weren't surprised to find almost all of the interns.
They had been lagging behind their usual pace the past few weeks, most offices offered a few days off for the holidays, but Levi basically held the employees until Christmas day. The interns all collectively straightened up at your presence, you worked directly under Levi and they were always hyper aware around you incase you had loose lips. Thankfully for them, you were no snitch, you just wanted your afternoon tea. Eren shimmied out of your way as you reached for the burner, he was in the middle of tying his hair off of his face. Mikasa was surprisingly no where to be found, you knew she and Armin were the two good ones. Connie and Sasha returned to their game that they had been playing, a weird spin on rock paper scissors, you had seen them play it before. They used a bowl large enough to fit their head in and an empty bottle of pop. As soon as they both matched the sign, for example, scissors, one would grab the bowl and the other the bottle. The goal was to cover your head before your opponent could bash you over the head with the bottle. It was a loud game, but it kept them busy so you didn't complain. Jean was officiating as always, legs crossed and nose in a magazine as he gave out half-assed hum of approval or disapproval. You finished the tea and stalked back to your office to catch up on emails. You glanced at the calendar and found it to be only a mere week away from Christmas. You decided to shoot Levi an email and attempt to bargain for a few extra days off.
"Hey Levi, good afternoon, is there anything you need? I was just looking at the calendar and couldn't help but notice that your birthday is only a few days away! Crazy how time flies. Anyway, I just wanted to know if we were having sex on Thursday?"
-(Y/n) (L/n)
You pressed send and continued to scroll through your emails as per usual. No less than five minutes later, your door practically blew open when Levi stormed in, stormy eyes dark and clearly crankier than usual.
"Oh don't tell me you were just yelling at those poor-"
"Explain now." He snapped, slamming his hand down onto your desk. You didn't flinch, well accustomed to his fits of rage. However it was a bit concerning that it was aimed towards you.
"I...don't understand sir?" you were careful with your words as you looked up at him, once again swiveling in your chair to stand.
"The email (Y/n)" he sounded exhausted as he gestured towards your desktop.
“Oh...I know it was a bit of a long shot, but I had to ask.” You shrugged, still confused on why he was so upset. Levi growled and rounded your desk, he pushed you rather roughly back into your seat before shoving your chair aside and leaning over your computer. He clicked through your emails before opening the one that you had sent minutes prior. He reached back and hauled you back to your desk. His hand was gripping the back of your chair, causing the leather and wood to groan under the pressure he was applying. You looked up at him with concern written over your features.
“Levi?”
“Just read the damn email.” Levi growled as he glared at the screen. You sighed dramatically and turned your gaze to the screen, where you slowly and carefully reread the email. Levi watched your face closely as your eyes scanned the screen. You gasped when you realized that you had somehow replaced work with sex. You turned with a hand over your mouth to look up at him.
“Levi I swear I didn’t-”
“Oh no don’t double back on me now (Y/n)” Levi teased as he looked down at you with amusement sparking in his eyes.
“Please you have to understand-”
“No I understand just fine, you want to fuck your boss.” Levi hummed, hand still resting on the back of your chair.
“It was a typo.” you huffed stubbornly, of course you thought he was attractive, but you had never dared cross that line. You were surprised that Levi was being so playful on this matter, usually he was a stickler about in office relationships.
“Oh a typo.” Levi scoffed as he swiveled your chair to be facing him, you rolled your eyes trying to mask the flustered feelings that were threatening to come to the surface.
“Yes a typo.” You confirmed as his hand slid off the back of the chair in favor of resting on the arm of the seat, effectively caging you in.
“Well in that case...yes you can have Thursday off. But only if you get all that paperwork done before then.” Levi’s breath was fanning over your face, the lingering scent of tea and mint flooding your nose.
“Consider it done.” You assured him as you crossed your legs confidently and leaned back in the chair.
“And when I have the day off....we can go try out that new restaurant down the street.” You said boldly and Levi hummed in agreement.
“No plans for Christmas Eve then?” Levi inquired as he drummed his fingers on the arm rest.
“Levi...I don’t celebrate the holiday.” You couldn’t help but giggle at the way his face screwed into a confused expression.
“You asked for it off though?” Levi said slowly, not understanding why you were being to difficult.
“Yeah, my family celebrates it but...I just don’t really.” You shrugged and Levi glowered down at you.
“That’s not confusing at all.” Levi huffed sarcastically and you rolled your eyes.
“Maybe if you’re extra nice to me...I’ll tell you why I don’t celebrate the holiday.” You said with a sweet smile up at him.
“You don’t have to, I don’t celebrate it either.” Levi shrugged as he went to stand, you reached out, hoping to keep him close. You snagged him by the tie and brought him back into your space.
“So dinner on...Thursday then?” You hummed, tilting your head up to meet his eyes.
“Yes, dinner...” Levi swallowed thickly at the feeling of you tugging on his tie.
“Perfect. See you then.” You said, releasing his tie and turning back to your work. Levi let out a relieved sigh as he went to leave your office, glad to have settled that awkward ordeal, and even more excited for Thursday.

Hi fanmoose! Got a prompt for you, if you're interested: Levi seeing the 104th and the vets preparing gifts for Hange's birthday, but he's wondering what to give them so he goes above and beyond... all the Scouts are taken by surprise.
Thanks, and good luck!
i changed a couple of things..... hope you still enjoy it! thanks for the prompt <3
Jean got a notebook. Armin made a new quill, using a feather from the owl he and Mikasa caught. Connie brought from his home village a whole basket of peers Hange loved so much. Sasha was responsible for baking a cake.
Nifa made her favorite brownies. Mike decided to gift Hange a new jacket, Nanaba bought a new pair of shoes, Erwin got her a new pair of glasses and a microscope she was whining about for so long. Moblit drew a fucking portrait of her.
Even Eren, as obtuse as he was, prepared a present for Hange.
“My mom was very good at sewing,” he shared with Levi, in the middle of his training, “she didn’t teach me how to do it,” at that, his voice lost some of its edge, tints of sadness appearing, “but Mikasa knows how to sew and she promised to help me with it!”
Levi could only arch an eyebrow. “And how is that related to a gift for Hange?”
Eren leaned closer with a hand next to his mouth, looking so serious, like he was going to tell the biggest secret in the world. “I’m going to sew a plushie for Squad Leader.”
“A plushie? A fucking toy with your titan’s face?”
There was a beat of silence. Then… “Damn it.” Eren took head in his hands, tugging at his hair with alarming desperation. “Damn it! I should have sewed the plushie of my Titan! Hange-san loves it!”
Yeah, as much as it annoyed Levi, there was certainly no way he could deny that.
“So… what did you sew instead?”
Peaking beneath his fingers, Eren mumbled. “A plushie of me holding a heart that says ‘I love you, Hange’.”
Fuck… as dense as Eren was, Levi had to admit… the gift was not bad at all. Especially for Eren. Especially comparing to his gift, which consisted of…
Nothing.
Just two days were left before Hange’s birthday, and he still no idea what to give her. Hange was probably expecting a present from him. Or, maybe, she was not. She was nice like that – always giving without asking for something in return. Hange was also kind, she thought he was her friend, and even more than that. Best friend, she once told him. And Levi had to admit. He felt it too. Hange was his friend. The first one he made in Survey Corps. The closest one he had.
Some friend he was, apparently. Not even preparing a gift for her.
Sensibly, he knew that he was making a problem out of nothing. He could give Hange something simple – a shampoo she obviously didn’t possess; a book she would probably like and squeal in his ear about; a new shirt or a bottle of good wine.
Hange would probably enjoy these kinds of gift. They were certainly useful. But were they meaningful? Would Hange remember them, ten years from now?
He wanted her to. Hange was his friend, perhaps, even something more. He wanted only the best for her. That’s why picking up a gift was such a problem.
With only two days left, Levi was getting desperate. He was thinking about seeking out help, but just before he gathered the strength…
The help came to him themselves.
“Good day, Levi,” with a good-natured smile, Erwin invaded his office, Mike and Nanaba trailing after him. “Are you busy?”
Levi pointedly looked at the mountain of paperwork on his desk. “Yes,” he drew, “All thanks to you, Erwin.”
“Well, you can take a break,” Erwin waved his hand dismissively, and took a seat on the opposite end of Levi’s desk. Nanaba and Mike occupied the sofa. “We came to discuss something very important,” the smile was gone, as Erwin clenched his jaw and knitted his eyebrows in a hard line. Looking at that expression, Levi felt his stomach sinking. What was this all about? If it was about their upcoming expedition, then where was… “A little birdie shared with us,” Erwin interrupted his heavy thoughts, “That you still have no present for Hange.”
What? Levi gawked at his guests, switching his confused gaze from one to the other.
“And what is the name of that birdie?” He would find that birdie and give them a piece of his mind, for sure. Who dared get poke his nose into his personal matters?
“Please, Levi,” Mike joined the conversation, “You couldn’t get more obvious. I can smell your desperation from miles away.”
Levi’s annoyance rose. Birdies, smelling desperation. Could they talk like normal people?
Seeing his increasing frustration, Nanaba decided to come to rescue. She smiled, tucking a lock of her hair behind an ear. “I overheard your conversation with Eren. You looked a bit distressed, honestly I thought you were going to kick his ass again… And since I doubt Hange is enamored with Eren in that way, I concluded that you…”
“Are angry not because the boy is a titan and spends too much time with Hange, but because he already has a gift prepared, when you do not.” Erwin finished.
Well… the conclusion was sound, at least. But that didn’t mean that Levi felt any less annoyed.
“So?” he raised an eyebrow, staring judgingly at his intruders. “What do you want from me?”
“We want to help, of course,” the smile was back at Erwin’s lips. “And we have some ideas.”
“Such as?”
Nanaba bounced from her seat, crossing the room to bang her palms against the surface of Levi’s desk. He jumped slightly, certainly not expecting it.
“You know what Hange really likes?”
“Books?” Levi tried. “Science? Titans? Books about titan’s science?”
“No, dummy,” Nanaba shook her head, “Hange likes you.”
It took him a long moment to comprehend. Even then, the only thing Levi could get out of his mouth was a very faint, “Eh?”
“We all know how much Hans makes you happy.” Mike said.
They did? How so?
“You spend a lot of time with Hange,” Erwin noted, answering his unasked question.
“And you allow her to do things that you deny everyone else,” Nanaba continued.
“And when she is with you, that constipated expression disappears from your face.” Mike finished.
He… didn’t have a constipated expression. And while Hange did make his days more pleasant and his survival that easier and more enjoyable… Levi was sure that no one knew about it, but him.
“Listen, we all know that you like Hange, and we’re telling you that Hange likes you. That’s why…” Erwin lifted his chin, his smile becoming nearly devilish. Were they still talking about a simple birthday gift? “I made a reservation in a restaurant in Sina. Take Hange there, eat good food, drink some wine, have a good night… Make Hange happy.”
Their suggestion was certainly better than Levi’s nothing. However…
“What you’re offering seems a lot like fraternization. Isn’t that illegal?” he narrowed his eyes at Erwin, skepticism oozing from him. “Are you trying to get rid of me?”
“Perish the thought!” not swayed by Levi’s scary expression, Erwin chuckled. “You’re correct, technically, two officers are not allowed to enter romantic relationship, but I think it’s a little too late for that.” Huh? Just how Levi was meant to interpret that? “Besides… think about humanity, Levi! If you and Hange were to conceive a child…” the expression on Erwin’s face was so dreamy, Levi felt chills at the base of his spine. “A child born from the union of humanity’s strongest and smartest… It could very well save our world!”
Levi stared at his Commander, at loss of words. Saying ‘you’re fucked up in the head, Erwin’ seemed a little too rude even for him, considering that Erwin was his superior officer. Still… he was fucked up in the head.
“Don’t listen to him,” Nanaba spoke, attracting Levi’s attention. “But think about our offer. An evening like that will really make Hange happy. You want that, don’t you?”
Did he want to make Hange happy? More than anything…
“Do it for Hange,” Nanaba urged.
“Do it for love,” Mike added.
“Do it for humanity!” Erwin passionately concluded.
Fucked up in the head, Levi thought. All of them were. Himself, included. But what was he going to lose? Besides, their offer was better than anything he could have come up with.
“Alright,” he surrendered, a sigh escaping him. “I’ll do it.”
Nanaba cheered. Mike nodded at him with a smile. Erwin looked like he was about to cry. Then, to Levi’s horror, he saluted.
“Get out of my office now,” he shooed them away, lowering his gaze back to the papers. “I need to work.”
“Just another quick thing,” Nanaba patted his shoulder with a cheerful smile. “Walk Hange to the door of her room after the dinner. And make sure that you return after nine o’clock.”
Ah. So they had an ulterior motive. Of course. Levi shouldn’t be surprised.
“You’re planning something for Hange, I take it?”
“A little party,” Mike confessed. “We’ll deal with food and drinks, but you’re in charge of getting Hange there in time.”
Levi didn’t remember agreeing to be in charge of Hange, but… he didn’t like the idea of anyone else doing it in his stead.
“Nine o’clock, four-eyes’ room, I got it. Now get out of my office.”
Nanaba, Erwin and Mike didn’t need to be told twice.
___
After finding a solution to his main dilemma, Levi was now met with another, no less important and challenging than the previous one.
Erwin and the others got him a reservation at the restaurant. But... now he needed to invite Hange there.
His first attempt, executed not long after Erwin, Nanaba and Mike left his office, failed spectacularly, despite his expectations. He naively thought that a simple note, carried to Hange via Moblit, would suffice. But, perhaps, the note didn’t reach its destination. Or Hange forgot to read it. Or she somehow misinterpreted the sentence ‘do you want to dine together?’. Or the fault laid in the absence of Levi’s signature.
Nevertheless, he needed to do better.
His next attempt was slightly more successful. At least, he got some kind of reaction. Still not reaction he had needed. Apparently, there were ways that one could misunderstand the simple phrase ‘hey, four-eyes, want to eat with me?’. Levi had expected a very enthusiastic ‘yes’. Instead he received ‘I’ll see you at the dinner’ and a door to his face.
Evidently, he had to do not only better, but also be a little clearer about his intentions.
After lots of pondering, Levi decided that nothing could be clearer than throwing a shiny new black jacket from Mike at Hange and barking, “Get dressed, Hange. We’re going out.”
That got him an intrigued ‘oooh’ and a promise to be ready in five minutes.
Levi smirked to himself. Finally, his plan had worked. Finally, he got through that brilliant and extremely dense head.
___
At first, the dinner was, for the lack of better word, extremely awkward.
Erwin failed to mention just how fancy the restaurant would be. Turned out, it was fancy. Very fancy. Fancier than anything Levi had seen in his life. Even Hange, despite not being a street rat from Underground, was feeling a little off.
“Everyone is staring at us,” she whispered to him, leaning over the table to do so.
Hange was right. Everyone was gawking at them. Perhaps, the reason for it was their clothes. Both of them were dressed in their best suits. Still, their best didn’t even begin to reach the best of the gathered crowd. Perhaps, other guests were weirded out by Hange’s loud cheer at the sight of meat in the menu.
Or, perhaps, their reputation preceded them, and everyone in here knew about humanity’s strongest soldier and crazy titan scientist, two of Erwin Smith’s loyal devils.
Whatever the case was, Levi didn’t like the obvious staring. They came here to eat and have a good time, not be observed like clowns in the circus.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered back to her. He really was. It was Erwin’s mistake, but it was Hange’s birthday and it was his fault for not checking the restaurant beforehand. He was a scout, for fuck’s sake. It was his job.
“Don’t even start,” Hange huffed, waving her hand dismissively. “Not the first time I receive that sort of treatment. Probably not the last one as well.”
Hange paused, wiggling her eyebrows suggestively. “And if they want to look at us so much, let’s give them something to stare at.”
Levi’s lips twitched up. “And what do you suggest?”
“Let’s order the priciest meals they have, eat them like animals they think we are, and then run away and let Erwin deal with that.”
There were many reasons why Levi loved Hange. This was one of them.
___
True to Hange’s plan, they were at their worst behavior. They used spoons instead of forks, they drank straight from the bottle, Hange ate the dessert with her hands, smearing cake all over her mouth, cheeks, palms and shirt. Barely keeping himself from laughing out loud, Levi wiped it all with his cravat, as Hange cooed at his chivalry.
Two hours later, their stomachs were full, the crowd was scandalized, their hearts were merry and their eyes were shining with unbridled mischief.
“I think we’ve succeeded at making the worst impression possible,” Hange spoke, following it with a loud laughter. Several guest scoffed at the volume. Levi showed all of them his scariest scowl. The rich fuckers returned their attention to their plates in record time.
“It’s time we make our exit,” he agreed.
He looked at Hange more closely, thinking if he should take the risk. She had been touching him freely throughout the whole evening. She pressed their calves together under the table, she ran a hand through his arm, she let him touch her face and tilt her chin. She didn’t seem opposed to the idea, so… Levi took a deep sighed, searching for every bit of courage inside of him. Once all of it was gathered, he took Hange by the hand, helping her to stand up.
To his surprise and huge relief, she didn’t shake his hand off. On the contrary, she squeezed his palm and interlaced their fingers.
Hand in hand, they started towards walking out of the restaurant. On his way there, Levi discreetly pushed a plate of soup at some wealthy lady, staining her light creamy dress and receiving a indignant cry and a joyous giggle from Hange.
After that, they had to speed up a little. It was Hange’s birthday. Levi didn’t want to spend it in the prison cell.
Once they were outside and some distance away from the restaurant, Hange stopped.
“Shit, Levi! Had you seen her face? She was—”
She didn’t finish. Hange leaned against the wall and threw her head back, laughing without abandon. She doubled over, hugging her stomach, her mirth not ceasing. Finding her mood strangely infectious, Levi couldn’t help but chuckle too.
Still snickering to herself, Hange looked up to meet his gaze. Her whole body was shaking from the laughter, and tears gathered in the corners of her eyes. Disheveled, red-faced and laughing, she was the most beautiful sight Levi had ever seen. The moonlight and faint stars only accentuated her beauty.
Levi was lost in watching her.
Subconsciously, in a mindless attempt to get a better look at the wonder that was Hange Zoe, he leaned in.
Hange leaned in too, her hand finding place at his shoulder. She moved that hand slightly, closer to his neck. Her fingers ghosted around his hairline, making him shiver.
He was looking in her eyes. Hange was looking at his lips.
The world around the two of them faded, the sounds of a street at night, the singing from the nearby pub disappearing to the background.
Levi didn’t know, had failed to register who moved first. But a moment later, his hand was on her waist, and Hange buried her fingers in his hair. And then, they were kissing – sloppily, desperately, without skill but with lots of passion.
Levi felt like he was struck by lightning. Nothing he had ever done before felt even remotely as good as kissing Hange did.
As the kiss progressed, becoming deeper, Levi found himself pressed against the wall.
Hange was everywhere – her tongue was in his mouth, her palms on his cheeks, her knee was rising, resting against his crotch. It was almost too much. And yet, not enough.
“Hange, Hange,” with some difficulty, he separated himself from her hot mouth and soft lips. “Hange, if someone sees us—”
“Oh, right,” still pressed dangerously close to him, she giggled. “Erwin would have a heart attack if we get jailed for making out on the streets. He’d deem us a disappointment to humanity.”
“Back to barracks then?”
Hange licked her lips and winked. Levi felt another strong surge of desire. “We can continue there.”
After that kind of promise, Levi hurried to find where they left their horses. He all but raced there, and jumped on his loyal stallion, grasping the reins a little too tightly.
Hange followed his suit. “Who arrives at the barracks first, gets to be on top?” she challenged.
Without waiting for his reply, she started off. Cursing, Levi struggled to keep up.
That day, he learned one essential lesson. Riding a horse with a raging boner was a fucking torture.
___
Hange was the first one to reach the stumbles. Dismounting her horse, she ran up to Levi, pulling him off the saddle and instantly connecting their lips. Levi would have liked to complain, but… who was he kidding?
Without another word, he brought Hange closer, putting his hand on her hip.
Just as the first one, the second kiss was amazing, enough to knock his breath out and make his knees buckle underneath him.
“If that’s my birthday gift,” Hange murmured, panting after they broke apart. “Then it’s the best one I ever had.”
And here Levi thought that there was nothing more enjoyable than kissing Hange. But as he saw her gentle smile, the adoring expression in her twinkling eyes, he was ready to melt in her arms.
However, he wouldn’t be himself if he passed an opportunity to use a sarcastic quip. “Is it better than Erwin’s microscope? Than Eren’s plushie?”
Hange put a finger to her chin, looking up with a thoughtful expression. “The microscope is really good, and that plushie is so adorable…” Levi’s good spirits vanished, as something ugly found its place inside his chest. Before it could manifest in a scowl, Hange caught his lips with hers once again.
“But nothing is better than you, shorty,” she confessed as they separated.
Hange likes you, Nanaba had said. She wasn’t wrong, it seemed.
“Your room or mine?” he asked, already tugging off Hange’s jacket.
“Mine. I was the one to win, after all,” she smirked, rapidly turning away and starting to run. Levi had no choice but to chase her.
___
He caught up with her near the entrance. Ceasing the moment, he wrapped arms around her waist, pressing her to him. Hange’s giggle turned into a moan. Levi delighted in that.
Exchanging messy kisses, they tumbled through the front door. Unable to break away from each other, they clumsily walked through the barracks, tripping and stumbling. And, despite the growing desire, they didn’t hurry as well. They stopped near the stairwell, so Hange could put a hickey on a spot above his collarbone. They paused at the middle of the hallway, so Levi could grind against her. Hange pressed him against the wall to whisper, “Fuck, Levi, this feels so good.”
When they reached the bedroom, Levi was ready to cheer. It was the longest walk through the barracks he had ever had. Was Hange’s room always that far away from the entrance?
With her hands shaking, she searched through her pockets for a key. She found it after a long minute that Levi spent kissing her neck. Once she fished it out, she put the key in the keyhole, and decided to celebrate that grand achievement with another breathtaking kiss.
Getting a little too eager, Levi pushed Hange forward. That was his mistake.
Apparently, the door to her room wasn’t closed. And, apparently, the room also wasn’t empty.
Unfortunately, Levi realized that and remembered the second part of Erwin’s plan a second too late. After he had heard the loud and cheerful ‘Happy birthday, Hange!’
With his arms still around Hange, he froze. Everyone else in the room froze too. The awkward silence settled over.
Levi’s thought frantically moved around his head, jumping from one corner to another. What should he do? Apologize? Let Hange go? Tell all of them to fuck off so he and Hange could finish what they had started?
However, he didn’t get to decide what to do with the unexpected audience. Hange chose for him.
“Guys!” she clasped her hands joyfully, her smile brighter than all the candles that stood around the room combined. “That’s so sweet! Thank you!”
She pulled away from Levi, sprinting to get to her friends. She gave a tight hug to Erwin, Mike, Nanaba, Moblit, Nifa, Eren, Armin, Mikasa, Sasha, Jean, Connie… Levi thought the string of people who wanted Hange’s attention would never end.
After hugs, came cake, and after cake was wine. He felt ignored, he felt utterly forgotten. He contemplated if he should go back to his room. He wanted Hange to kiss him again.
But instead he was sulking in the corner, munching on a cake Sasha had prepared. At least, the cake was good. But his frustration left a bitter taste in his mouth.
As his plate was emptied, Levi thought once again about leaving. But in that exact moment, seemingly out of nowhere, Hange appeared by his side.
“Planning to ditch the party early?” she wiggled her eyebrows, staring at him with unmasked mischief.
“It’s your birthday, not mine, four-eyes.”
“Exactly!” Hange threw an arm over his shoulders. “You’re my guest of honor!”
Ignoring the awakening of butterflies in his stomach and chalking them up to the effects of Sasha’s cake, Levi grunted, “Meaning?”
“Meaning I want you to stay!”
Levi rolled his eyes. He couldn’t really say no to Hange today, right? Although, he had troubles saying no to her any other day as well…
“And thank you for spending the whole evening with me,” Hange punctuated her gratitude with a kiss to his cheek. The butterflies were now flying freely, making Levi dizzy. It was hard to deny their origin anymore, with the trigger standing so close to him. “It was the best birthday I ever had.”
Well, that was all the gratitude Levi needed.
Before she left his side to receive more birthday wishes from their friends, Hange put her mouth above his ear, lowering her voice to a whisper, “Stay until the end, shorty. I’m not finished with you.”
She bounced off before he could give an answer. Perhaps, it was fairly obvious to her.
After all, how he could refuse Hange on the day of her birthday? How could he say no to receiving more of her attentions, and kisses?
With a satisfied hum, Levi settled against the wall, aiming his glare at all the guests. He couldn’t wait until all of them would leave. He couldn’t wait to have Hange all to himself.

“Whatever I’ve gone through, I’ve gone through. But, ultimately, this particular arena of my life has been so absurd...”
 Johnny Depp’s NEW INTERVIEW!
Last saturday, August 14, The UK Times, released a new interview with Johnny for the Sunday Times section. It was realized sometime earlier this month, in London, probably on the same day he and Andrew Levitas were recording for the Q&A for the “Minamata” release in UK. This is Johnny’s first interview since the UK trials in London last year, and released three years after Johnny’s major interview for the British GQ Magazine. Here Johnny and Andrew Levitas speaks about “Minamata”, his future as actor and a thing or two about his personal life, although he cannot talk about the court case.
For those who couldn’t read yet, here is the FULL interview:  Enjoy.
***
“I’M BEING BOYCOTTED BY HOLLYWOOD”
Johnny Depp has a new film out this week. In the opening scene his character, the real-life photographer W Eugene Smith, says, “I’m done. I’m tired. My body is older than I am. I’m always in goddam pain. I can’t trust my f***ing dick any more. Constantly in a foul mood. Even the drugs bore me.”
I ask Depp if Smith’s despair resonated with him. Depp stops. Rocks back and forth. “That’s interesting,” he replies with painful hesitation.
“I didn’t approach playing Smith in that way… Although you bring your toolbox to work and use what is available. Having experienced...” He stops again. Depp takes any questions that might refer to his calamitous libel case last year slowly, in a mumbly, croaking drawl. “A surreal five years…”
Tumblr media
In the film Smith needs to revive his reputation. In real life Depp’s task is even more daunting. Thanks to the judgment, everyone can call him a “wife-beater”. Now he must convince a Hollywood still convulsed by #MeToo that he’s not toxic — and that any attempt to rebuild his career is a risk worth taking. This is Depp’s first interview since the case.
We are speaking over Zoom, Depp in his London home, in front of a gold-framed painting. The 58-year-old is wearing a lot of clothes. Earrings. Floppy hat. Sunglasses. Bandana. Scarf. Checked shirt over a T-shirt with an indiscernible slogan. If you saw him on the Tube*, you might think he was off to work at the London Dungeon*, to play most of the characters.
PS. For those who are not familiar with British words: * Tube = British slang for London Underground, the subway trains. * London Dungeon = is a walk-through experience that recreates scenes from London's scary history in a mixture of live actors, special effects and rides.
Depp resumes, talking in broken sentences about the new film, Minamata, in which Smith, via Life magazine, exposes the brutal mercury poisoning of Japanese villagers in the early 1970s.
“How do we do this?” he asks rhetorically, meaning how to speak about the elephant in the Zoom. “Well, there’s no way one can’t recognise the absurdity of the mathematics.” He grins. “If you know what I mean?” No. “Absurdity of media mathematics.” He talks in riddles. “Whatever I’ve gone through, I’ve gone through. But, ultimately, this particular arena of my life has been so absurd...”
Tumblr media
He trails off again. He is holding a big brown roll-up of some sort. “What the people in Minamata dealt with? People who suffered with Covid? A lot of people lost lives. Children sick...Ill. Ultimately, in answer to your question? Yeah, you use what you’ve got. But what I’ve been through? That’s like getting scratched by a kitten. Comparatively.”
Last July, I went to the High Court in London to watch Depp on another screen — a video from the socially distanced court where the Hollywood star was losing a libel action against The Sun after it called him a “wife-beater”. It was the grottiest showbiz trial of the century. There were photos of the actor passed out in a foetal slump, socks on show. One lengthy exchange involved faeces. Another urination, inside or outside a house, after a violent night with his ex-wife Amber Heard.
This had all been going on for a while. In 2016 Heard applied for a temporary restraining order against him. The couple had long endured a narcotic, booze-filled, childish relationship, but that does not matter — 12 incidents levelled against Depp were proved, said the judge, and abuse is abuse, regardless of how badly they both behaved. Depp wanted to appeal, but the court said no. Next April in the US he has a $50 million defamation case against Heard relating to an opinion piece she wrote about being the victim of domestic abuse. It may be his last roll of the dice.
Tumblr media
In the 1990s Depp was a sensitive heart-throb. Cooler than DiCaprio, edgier than Pitt. In this past year he has been stripped of his status and dignity. On day three of the trial Sasha Wass QC, representing The Sun, asked Depp about daubing a penis on a painting. He could not remember. “That would be quite a big thing, painting a penis on a picture?”  Wass asked. “Quite a big thing?” Depp asked.
It was a well-delivered line, but Depp was on show. Performing. Now he is more timid, less lucid. His people say he cannot talk about the court case given the looming US trial, yet it hangs over everything. The director of Minamata, Andrew Levitas, is also on our call — as a pub trivia aside, Levitas is married to the Welsh singer Katherine Jenkins.
The two men clearly get on. “With regards to journalism, it was important for us to put across in the film the power of truth,” Levitas says. Depp nods. “The responsibility of journalists to look after citizens of the world. [Our film] coincided with the moment important publications had to put Raquel Welch on a cover to get enough eyeballs to sell enough ads in order to put something meaningful inside. A result of that is clickbait — it’s destroying the purpose of journalism,” Levitas continues.
“You said it beautifully,” says Depp, one of the world’s most pinned-up men, who built a career on magazine covers. “I couldn’t say it better than that.”
Last month Levitas wrote to MGM, which bought Minamata for the US market but decided not to release it. He accused MGM of being concerned that “the personal issues of an actor in the film could reflect negatively upon them”. Then the letter got really strong. Levitas accused MGM of failing in its “moral obligation” to release the film and said it needed to explain to the victims “why you think an actor’s personal life is more important than their dead children”. He then attached Smith’s photos of ghastly deformities that shocked the world 50 years ago.
“It’s important that the movie gets seen and supported,” Levitas says. “And if I get an inkling it’s not going to be, it’s my responsibility to say so. Where it goes from there? I don’t know. But we have responsibility to these victims . . .”

You can see why he’s passionate. The film is good. MGM bought the film because it is good. Depp is good too. He disappears into the role, far from his more recent pantomime parts. It’s being released worldwide, just not in the actor’s homeland.
Depp, who also produced the film, interrupts. “We looked these people in the eyeballs and promised we would not be exploitative. That the film would be respectful. I believe that we’ve kept our end of the bargain, but those who came in later should also maintain theirs.”
“Some films touch people,” he adds. “And this affects those in Minamata and people who experience similar things. And for anything…” He pauses, as he does. “For Hollywood’s boycott of, erm, me? One man, one actor in an unpleasant and messy situation, over the last number of years?” He trails off. “But, you know, I’m moving towards where I need to go to make all that…” Again, he trails off. “To bring things to light.”
The fact, as I think Depp knows, is that for his career, the court that matters is not one of law, but public opinion. On social media, where a lot of minds are made up, Depp’s good reputation will always outweigh the bad, thanks to his frequently blinkered fans.
Outside the High Court, as Heard arrived, I saw Natasha, 30, yell: “Get hit by a truck, Amber!” She is extreme, but the persistent way his fans demand that others think their idol is a saint shows a career revival will happen. After all, most filmgoers do not follow his private life at all. To them, he is Jack Sparrow, Edward Scissorhands. To them, he is a star — and a star can take an awful lot of heat before it burns out.
Tumblr media
“They have always been my employers,” Depp says of his fans. “They are all our employers. They buy tickets, merchandise. They made all of those studios rich, but they forgot that a long time ago. I certainly haven’t. I’m proud of these people, because of what they are trying to say, which is the truth. The truth they’re trying to get out since it doesn’t in more mainstream publications. It’s a long road that sometimes gets clunky. Sometimes just plain stupid. But they stayed on the ride with me and it’s for them I will fight. Always, to the end. Whatever it may be.”
Depp will talk like this for ever — about his “truth”. Minamata is the last film Depp has listed on the industry site IMDb, where actors usually have half a dozen in development. So, yes, fans of the actor can see Depp in a new role now — it is a return, but is it a relaunch? The film was finished in 2019, way before last year’s court case. Is that it? His last film? He thinks and looks off to his bookshelves, at biographies of Betjeman and Olivier.
“Er...no,” he says, eventually. “No. No. Actually, I look forward to the next few films I make to be my first films, in a way. Because once you’ve...Well, look. The way they wrote it in The Wizard of Oz is that when you see behind the curtain, it’s not him. When you see behind the curtain, there’s a whole lot of motherf***ers squished into one spot. All praying that you don’t look at them. And notice them.”
I would ask him to explain, but I am not sure he is an explainer. Watch this space, I guess, but he is already taking a first step back. After we speak, it is announced Depp is getting the coveted Donostia award at the San Sebastian Film Festival next month. Some people are just too famous to fail.

drunk eren and Drunk Mikasa sounds scary😭 I just know mikasa would be off wandering and eren would be following her around and she'd be like 'I have a boyfriend already ??' and he'd say back 'well I have a girlfriend as well so' and the next morning they'd wake up totally naked with no sight of their clothes and be like tf happened
THATS SO FUNNY 😭😭😭😂😂😂 I can totally just imagine it, MMDS drunk Eren and Mikasa are a fucking mess but anon I had to write it this is too hilarious not to.
Mikasa is unsure who the tall handsome boy that keeps following her around is but she's going to give him a piece of her mind! She already has a tall boyfriend, she doesn't need whoever this stalker is. So finally, as they approach the bar so she can grab another drink she turns around, and gives him her best I-will-kill-you-for-even-daring-to-look-at-me-i-have-a-boyfriend-and-i-used-to-slaughter-titans glare.
"Excuse you, but I would appreciate it if you would stop following me around, I have a boyfriend and his name is Eren and he'll beat you up!" She asserts triumphantly, there that'll show him!
"Thats so weird, my name is Eren!"
She's staring at him and he does look weirdly similar to Eren but she'd know if it were him right, this boy definitely isn't her boyfriend.
She is unsure how to respond to this surprising news. "Well- Well! Well my Eren is better than you!"
"Well my girlfriend is better than you! She's way prettier and she is the best at killing titans ever! She's so cool, I love her so much."
Huh, that sounds a lot like her, maybe it's good Eren's not around, she knows logically he'd never leave her, but she's not introducing him to this guy's girlfriend anytime soon. She can't take the risk, especially with a girl THIS amazing.
"Then why aren't you following her around?"
The attractive boy looks very confused for a moment before he responds, "I don't know."
"Well you better get out of here before my boyfriend finds you, he's very possessive so you'd better watch out."
"Tch! I bet I could take him, he's probably not even that great. But I don't want you anyways, you're very pretty but you're nothing compared to my Mikasa."
So weird that they have the same name too, what a small world.
He launches into a poetic monologue about how brilliant his girlfriend is and Mikasa nods along, completely forgetting that she doesn't want this boy following her around as she gets invested in him and his girlfriend's love story. By the end they're both drunkenly crying and Mikasa is sniffling as they discuss the importance of his girlfriend's red scarf. "And I wish that I was actually able to wrap her scarf around her again, but I was a bird so that was the best that I could do." Mikasa breaks into full on sobs as she hugs random attractive boy Eren, "I"m sure she knew it was you." She stops to sniffle a little bit more, "I'm just so glad you found each other again." And then they're both sobbing and that's how Armin finds them, both crying about their very own star-crossed love story and he just frowns. "Eren, Mikasa, what are you doing?" "Armin do you know this guy? Where is Eren?" "He's right next to you Mikasa." She frowns, no he's not, this is new Eren, he doesn't know her Eren. They're totally different people. "No that's new Eren, I just met him tonight, we're best friends now."
Armin sighs, holding a palm up to his forehead because he can't handle this idiocy. He turns to Eren, hoping maybe at least he's a little more coherent than Mikasa. "Eren thats your girlfriend sitting next to you right?" "IT IS?" He just sounds totally shocked as he struggles to hold back tears from their previous conversation and Armin just shakes his head, oh well they're both alive tonight, he's going to leave them be while he goes to find Sasha and Connie. Those two are definitely causing havoc. At least Eren and Mikasa are just having a wholesome heart to heart about god knows what.
"Yeah, you know what buddy don't worry about it, you guys go back to what you were doing I'll come grab you in an hour when we leave. Don't move." They both nod dutifully, very confused before going back to their heart-to-heart. The next morning they both wake up next to each other with the terrifying fear that they've cheated only to turn over and find the other person. "Miki what the fuck did we do last night?" "I think we spent the entire time confessing our love for each other to the other person except we both thought we were strangers."
"That's it I'm not getting drunk again." "Eren no you were so cute!"

The heart of the Scout Regiment
A mini Levi Ackerman story
Tumblr media
Summary: Since the beginning of the survey corps, not one member has changed the group like she did, if only they knew, what one persons heart, could change them all.
A/N:had this idea for a few days and went with it, I’m hoping to keep it pretty small but who knows with my imagination how long this’ll become.
In the over 70 years the scout regiment has been founded, there’s been countless brave soldiers who have joined the fight for mankind. Many brave men and women have laid down their lives, all with determined hearts to create a safe, wonderful world again. But not one, had the heart she held.
At only 28 years old, she joined the survey corps and within a year being on the team, she was ranked one of the best on the team in years.
A drive that many strived to come near, quick with her skills as she flew through the shy like a fierce angel of war, with the skills that nearly matched that of their captain.
But the one thing, the very thing that made all love be in complete awe of her, was how loyal she was to each and everyone on her team.
She was often called either the guardian angel of the group, or the heart of the survey corps. Or as some have overtime dubbed her, mum.
The sheer love she had for each member astonished them all, something that even a few took time to grow used to.
The scouts dubbed her initially as their guardian angel, for the amount of times she’s saved them all.
Majority of the time, she spent the missions keeping an eye on her team mates, especially the newer members. She was even given the position of watch over for them, with only a few killed under her belt, she was placed usually in behind them all. Eyes trained on everyone as she made sure they were safe. The amount of times she’s saved them from being eaten alive, they couldn’t count. Even at times risking her life for one of her friends, just to make sure they made it.
She was loved dearly by everyone, and loved each of them individually.
She ended up being dubbed mum by the younger cadets for the tender love she would give, always checking in on each of them in the beginning if she felt they needed it.
She always had words of Affirmation, love, and deep care to each of them. Always telling them how proud she was of them, how strong they all were. Even her criticism were of the same amount of love, never did they walk away from them feeling defeated, for her words were laced with love and care, only being spoken so they can be the best they can. A best they all in a way strive for just to see her smile and feel the love she willingly gave them, no matter what.
The mess hall was bustling with life, as everyone gathered to have dinner. With her hair tied back as she grabbed for an extra slice of bread, she walked over to her usual table.
Handing the extra slice to Sasha, the young girl looking up at her with wide eyes and large smile. “Here take it sweety, I grabbed it just for you.” She said, her signature warm smile painted on her lips. The girl pulled her into a tight embrace, one she gladly reciprocated.
One of the things she was Notorious for, was how much she loved hugging. At least everyone on the team has been wrapped in her arms, something that even their commander and captain secretly loved. But Levi loved her tight hugs for a reason that nobody knew of, not even his closest friends knew the love he Harberd for the woman.
At first, he was often annoyed at her affections, finding them irritating and pointless. The amount of times he would roll his tired eyes as he watched her launch herself into someone’s arms, he lost count.
But over the next few months, the annoyance he once had, disappeared and were instead filled with happiness, something he can’t remember feeling. His heart would flutter in his chest whenever she would beam up at him. And yes, up.
Having gotten used to looking up at his team members, it shocked him when he first met her. Standing at exactly 4 foot 9, she was the shortest member they had. Something that everyone adored, and added to her loving character.
She often would change what table she sat at, finding herself interchangeably taking a seat where she felt called to. Each person who she sat with, had smiles painted on their faces as she asked them how each of their days went, watching proudly as they often rambled to her and everyone about the most mundane thing they did. But not once, did she ever interrupt, or gave the impression she wasn’t interested. Eyes locked on their faces with a smile, she listened intently. She would look at them like they were telling a fantastic fairytale, when all they did was mop the floor.
Everyone would take their turns, never once interrupting what the other was saying unless asked a question.
Whenever someone had, she would break her eyes from the person to those who interrupted. She never gave a mean, or intimidating look. All she had to do, was look into their eyes and say “please wait your turn.” She wouldn’t even have an edge of anger in her tone, her tone matched her loving attitude she always had. But it instantly made them quiet down, unless it was a faint apology. One she always replied with “it’s alright dear.”
But, just because she always seemed full of love and joy, doesn’t mean she’s always kept up that attitude.
The few times anyone has truly seen her upset, it haunted all those who heard and especially directed to.
The first time, was the first time she lost one of her teammates. The heart shattering wale she let out as she held their lifeless body in her arms, haunted them all for weeks.
The second, was the time one of them nearly lost their lives, to protect her. Never had they seen her talk with such authority, such change to her usually calm tone. She reminded them of the position she was given, and that her job, was to protect them. But they reminded her that she was also important, that they couldn’t live with themselves, if she lost her life and they didn’t do anything about it. It was the first time she was called mum, a day that she will cherish forever.
The third and last time, was something they will never forget.
It was one and only times they truly saw her enraged.
It was bad, truly a nightmare as they all fought just to make it out alive.
She spotted one of the younger members trapped under a fallen tree, seeing they were still alive. Her heart rapidly beating out of her chest, as it nearly stopped when she spotted the 12 meter titan approaching them. She flew through the air as fast as she could, pure adrenaline coursing through each vein as was neck and neck with the beast.
Her arm stretched out as far as she could, nearly feeling the tips of her fingers hit their weak hand, feeling the beasts breath behind her. But all that was stopped, as she felt arms wrap her, flying her away from the young man. Her heart shattering in her chest as she felt Levi pulling her away.
Loud ear splitting screams of anger ripped from her throat as she spewed off every profanity she could at the captain. Her nails cutting deep scratches in his hands as she watched them be eaten, her heart breaking as tears streamed from her eyes.
Never, had anyone seen just truly how enraged she could get until they got back. Her voice booming through the large base as tears streamed from her eyes, her body shaking as words of pure heartbreak and anger shattered everyone’s hearts. Even the cold, emotionless caption had to hold in tears as he let her take out every bit of anger and heartbreak she felt. Only being stopped when she lunged at the man, being pulled away as she tackled him to the ground.
It broke their hearts watching her, her words nothing compared to the anguish and sadness in her voice. It was something that nobody wished another member to experience.
“Thank you so much mum.” She mumbled into her shoulder, making her smile as she pulled back, planting a small kiss to her forhead. “No problem sweety.” She said, a large smile on her face.
Erens eyes focused on his plate, mind swirling with anxiousness as he thinks of the next day.
He was informed of another mission the next day, something that both excited hun, but terrified the young boy.
Still having trouble controlling himself even today, he still had doubt in his mind. Fear of loosing control again, fear of hurting anyone on his team.
His thoughts were interrupted when he felt arms wrapping around him from behind, feeling her head leaning on his shoulder.
“Everything alright bubs? You’ve hardly eaten?” She asks, making a smile grow on his face.
Never did anyone think or imagine just how close they became. Nobody ever thought, that they would have one of the tightest bonds on the team. The care she holds for him, it even made some jealous for how much she values the young boy, and vise versa. The usually angry, cold man, calmed almost instantly when she was with him. If you didn’t know any better, you’d think she was his mother.
“Just worried about tomorrow is all.” He mumbles, feeling her arms wrap ever so slightly tighter around him. “Everything’s gonna work out, I know it’s scary, everytime we go out there it is. But we know exactly what to do, where we’re going, and we’ve got you on our side. You’re gonna do amazing, I know it.” She says, ending it with a kiss to his temple, one that makes his shoulders drop, and a smile to grow on his face.
And as she Predicted, it went smoothly, for the most part.
Since having her join the team, the death tole has greatly diminished. While there were a few, they typically would walk away with only injuries rather than the high body count they once had.
This mission, there were no casualties amongst the group. But there were a few who came back with injuries, knew that as soon as they finished, she ran to each one of them.
Her hands slowly wrap bandage around jeans arm, neatly and gently trying to keep it close to his body.
Letting out a small hiss from the deep cut on his arm, she gave him an apologetic look. “Sorry dear.” She said, voice laced with care as she tried to tie it without hurting him further. “It’s alright mum, thank you for this though.” He said, voice sounding, defeated. She was always able to read them all, even their always emotionless captain.
“What’s on your mind bubs, you can tell me.” She says, eyes looking into his. He lets out a sigh as he averts his from her stare. He knew she’d be able to tell.
“I-I almost got myself and my team killed. Again. Everyone counts on me to be great, but I can’t help but think I’m letting everyone down, I feel more like a hazard to the group.” His eye wells up with an unshed tear. He feels her thumb wipe his eye, looking at her as she cups his cheek softly. “You’re anything but that Jean. I promise, you’re a true born leader. I’m so proud of the progress you’ve made since I met you, and I’m always so happy to see how much you care about all of us. You’re anything but what you think dear, I promise.” Tears well up again in his eyes at her words, feeling them wrap around him like a blanket.
He pulls her into a tight embrace, feeling her hands running up and down his back.
Bertolt let’s put a grunt as he feels his cheek, feeling the deep cut that covered the skin. He knew it would heal by morning, but that doesn’t make the pain any less.
He watched as she walks over to him, knowing exactly why she came over.
“I’m fine, don’t worry about me.” He says. “I know you’ll be fine, but I still wanna at least disinfect it and patch it up.” She says, a smile on her face as she sits in front of him.
He knows he can’t fight her, and even then, he wouldn’t want her to.
If there’s one person besides his friends he truly cares about, it’s her. The amount of love she’s given him since he met her was something he detested at first, but slowly he grew to not only get used of it, but loving it. The care she has in her touch, her voice, and her eyes, is something that he’s never seen or felt at such a level.
They both sat silently as she cleans his wound, a small smile on his face as she applies the lightest touch. The amount of times he’s told her that she doesn’t have to be so soft, she’s always retort back with “i know it won’t hurt, but I’m still gonna be as gentle as I can just in case.”
As she finished up patching his cheek, she gives him a warm smile, one he matches. “Thanks mum, you really didn’t have to do that.” She smiles at the young mans words. “I know, but I still like to make sure you heal properly.” The young man chuckles at this, feeling her arms wrap around his lanky frame.
The room was almost completely silent as they walk in, her arms helping to bring him to his neatly made bed.
If there was one person who could read him like a book, it’d be her.
Levi tried to hide the long gash on his peck from her, trying to put a mask on as to not let her see the deep pain he felt as they rode home. The sharp winter air did nothing but made the cut sting worse, making his face even paler from the pain he felt.
He had done a pretty good job, that was until he had jumped off of his horse when they got back, nearly falling flat on his face of it wasn’t for her being right there to catch him.
Worry filled her as her heart nearly stopped, feeling the wet patch of his suit. A gasp leaving her lips when she saw the blood that stained her hand.
She instantly started bringing him inside, not once did she let him go, even when he told her he would be fine.
His heart fluttered rapidly as he watched her, eyes looking up at her concentrated face as she cleans his wound.
She had him lay on his bed, helping to take the top half of his gear off. Now only laying in his pants and socks, chest and torso completely bare as she washed the blood from his skin.
He hardly felt her feather light touch as she cleaned him, his mind solely focused on her. He could’ve easily done this himself, as he’s done countless times. But he couldn’t help but let her, when he saw the worry in her eyes.
“Alright, this might sting a bit so I’m sorry.” She says, dampening a fresh cloth with disinfectant.
A slight grunt leaves his lips as she places the cloth to his skin, the alcohol burning his skin slightly. “I’m sorry.” She says, voice sounding pained as she looks into his steel eyes. “It’s alright, I’ve felt way worse before.” He says, a smile painted on his face as he looks at her. “I know, but I still don’t like when anything harms you.” “Then you must be miserable because I’m always in harm's way.” He chuckles, making her let out a laugh, feeling his heart thump wildly in his chest. He loved seeing her smile, feeling his heart soar in his chest whenever it was because of him. “But thank you anyway, for this.” He says, making her cheeks flush as he looks into her eyes. “Anytime, you know I’ll always be here to fix you up no matter what.” She says, hands now resting on his bandaged chest. His eyes looking into hers, a smile on his face.

“I need your help, (Y/N),” Eren proclaimed as he slammed his hand down on the table, causing you to look at him instead of your soup.
If you hadn’t known Eren prior to this, you would’ve been startled by his actions, but you practically grew up with him. You were both from Shiganshina and while you were good friends, you weren’t as close as he, Mikasa, and Armin were. You were closest to your brother.
“With what,” you questioned, your spoon hanging from your mouth.
“Learning the maneuver gear,” he explained, an eager look in his eyes.
“Well, haven’t you asked Mikasa? She was really good at it,” you recalled.
“I did, but it still didn’t work,” he sighed. “So, I thought maybe you had some advice, seeing as you were nearly perfect.”
You blushed at his compliment as you crossed your arms over your chest.
“Well,” you breathed. “It’s kind of like a swing.”
“A swing,” he asked confusedly.
“It’s hard to describe…maybe Viktor knows how to say it. Hey, Viktor.”
You nudged your brother’s shoulder with your own, but he didn’t respond. So, you and Eren looked over and were surprised to see him in a deep conversation with Krista as Ymir glared at him from across the table. You both smirked.
“He’s going to die,” you remarked.
“Yeah,” Eren agreed with a chuckle, causing you to sigh.
“Well, I’ll try my best to describe it then. When you look at the seat of the swing, you can see that it is completely balanced. Then, once weight is added onto it, it still manages to stay upright. That’s because it balances the weight throughout itself equally. You have to think of your body as a whole and seek balance within yourself. That’s the best way I can describe it. Does that…sorta make sense?”
He gazed at you with wide eyes, not necessarily mesmerized by what you said, but how you said it.
“Yeah, that makes sense,” he confirmed excitedly and you smiled.
“If you still need help, you can ask some of the guys,” you suggested. “A few of them did well too.”
“Got it, thank you so much, (Y/N)!”
“No problem,” you waved, watching as he made his way back to the table where Mikasa and Armin were sitting.
You noticed Mikasa glaring at you, but you decided to ignore it and focus on your food instead. However, you were only able to get two bites in until someone else came.
“Do you mind if I sit here,” a deep voice asked and you looked up to see a tall, blonde boy with a muscular build standing in front of you. You realized you remembered him from orientation.
“Yeah, go right ahead,” you said, motioning to the seat in front of you. He sat down with a small creak and you gazed at him for a few moments before turning back to your food.
“You’re (Y/N), right,” he questioned once more and you nodded.
“(Y/N) Bauer. I would introduce you to this oaf,” you gestured to Viktor. “But he’s too busy taking his final breaths.” Reiner let out an airy chuckle as your brother was now arguing with Ymir over something ludicrous.
“I’m-“ Reiner started to say, but you cut him off.
“Reiner Braun, I remember you. You’re the ‘save humanity’ guy.”
“Huh?”
“During orientation, when Shadis asked you why you were here, you said ‘to save humanity.’”
“You remember that?” You nodded.
Reiner hadn’t thought you noticed him, let alone even remembered what he said. The surprise made him oddly happy.
“Mmhmm,” you hummed, playing with your food. “The only reason I did was because you looked just as scary as Shadis.”
“What,” Reiner laughed, causing you to smile.
“What do you mean ‘what?’ I mean, look at you. You’re a tall, muscly guy with a sharp face. Intense eyes and a deep voice. Who wouldn’t be scared of that?”
“Not you apparently,” he stated with a smirk. “If I didn’t know any better, (Y/N), I’d say you were flirting with me.”
Your cheeks reddened.
While you did find him extremely attractive, especially when you first laid eyes on him during orientation, you couldn’t let him know that.
You couldn’t let him know that you were taken aback by his strong and unwavering stature, the way the muscle within his jaw flexed with determination, and how his amber eyes burned when Shadis asked him why he was there.
When he answered with “To save humanity,” his voice was deep, but so sure of himself. It permanently caught your attention, but still. He couldn’t know that.
“Don’t flatter yourself, Braun,” you finally countered. “You only interested me because of how overachieving your goal was.”
“Really, how so,” he asked with half lidded eyes. He could tell you were bluffing. You had to save your ass.
“Well, don’t you think saving humanity is quite ambitious? How could one person manage to save millions of people,” you commented.
“Why does one join the military to begin with?” Your eyes widened.
While you were shocked, you were also impressed at his question. You couldn’t help the amused smile that made its way onto your lips.
“A good portion of the kids here are either looking to live comfortably within the inner walls or wanting to earn bragging rights as they slack off in the Garrison Regiment. Why do you think the number of people joining the Scouts every few years is so low? ‘Cause in the end, most people don’t want to leave the walls to fight for humanity. They just want to stay back and watch others do the work.”
“Is that why you joined?” You snorted.
“Course not.”
“Then, why’d you join?”
‘Why did I join,’ you thought to yourself.
Then, it hit you. Their words.
Mommy loves you so much. She loves you. Please just do this last thing for her and hide.
Get my brother and sister out of here! I’ll take care of the Titans! Just go!
I’m sorry, (Y/N).
You clenched your spoon tightly as you gazed into Reiner’s eyes with a newfound intensity gracing your own.
“I joined because-” but you were cut off by a large thud and your brother groaning right after.
You and Reiner looked over to see Ymir pushing his face into the table.
“How’s that for a rude awakening,” she sneered, tearing herself away from him soon after. “C’mon, Krista.”
“You didn’t have to do that,” Krista whined, but Ymir had already grabbed her by the arm and led her out of the mess hall.
You sighed.
“What did you even say to them?”
“Don’t worry about it,” he mumbled, holding onto his head.
“Honestly, you’re either great at talking to girls or extremely poor at it. There’s no in between,” you commented as you pulled him up by his hair.
Reiner hissed shortly after and you winced at the sight of his face.
“We’re going to need bandages for that.”
__________________________________________
“What’re we doing out here,” you questioned, following your brother through the dark forest. “Can’t we get in trouble for this?”
“Not if we aren’t caught,” he mused with an almost crazy smile on his face.
“I think Ymir hit you too hard. Are you seeing double right now?”
You glanced at the bandages around his forehead and were becoming genuinely concerned that he had a concussion.
“It’s because of Ymir I’m doing this,” he revealed, chuckling breathlessly. “She’s going to hate it when I prove her wrong.”
“You still didn’t tell me what you told her,” you mentioned.
“I tried comparing Krista to a lotus flower and Ymir’s convinced that no such thing exists.”
“Really? Then, what was the whole rude awakening thing?”
“I just told her she was in for a rude awakening and she did that. The audacity.”
“You’re a real idiot, you know that,” you stated, causing him to gasp offensively.
“What?!”
“So, you’re trying to find a lotus flower to prove her wrong.”
“Yeah.” You came to a stop.
“Wait.”
“What?”
“If I’m remembering what we read as kids correctly, those only exist outside of the walls,” you exclaimed in disbelief.
“I mean, yeah. They’re from Asia, but the Asian clan lived here for some time anyways,” he mumbled to himself.
“Huh? You’re talking too quietly.”
“Oh, well, what I meant to say is that humanity once lived outside of the walls, right? So, they had to have brought some with us!”
You watched your brother in confusion as he turned away, moving forward once again. That was weird, you thought.
As you followed behind him, you heard rustling nearby.
“Do you hear that,” you asked and Viktor shook his head.
“It’s probably just a deer or something.”
“I don’t know…”
The rustling grew louder and you both stopped.
“I don’t know if that’s a deer,” you murmured, grabbing onto his jacket.
Then, the both of you could make out footsteps and started to tremble in panic.
“What if it’s Shadis,” you whispered. “I didn’t plan on bothering him today. I’m not prepared to swim again…or worse. Clean the restroom after Sasha’s used it.”
Viktor nearly gagged at the idea.
“This was your idea, Viktor.”
“Well, you’re the one who decided to follow the kid with the possible concussion out here,” he retorted.
“You, idiot. Let’s just find a hiding spot, but move very quietly.” He nodded as you led him through the trees, tiptoeing carefully. You turned the corner of a tree and unexpectedly bumped into a firm chest.
You didn’t get the chance to see who it was as you and the owner of that chest started screaming.
You fell back into your screeching brother and heard three more masculine yells follow suit.
You opened your eyes and saw Reiner, Bertolt, Eren, and Armin all huddled together, panting with terrified looks on their faces.
“Huh,” you gasped, but they didn’t hear you as your brother was still screaming. “Shut up!” You elbowed him in the stomach, knocking the wind out of him.
“What the hell are you guys doing out here,” you questioned, attempting to recompose yourself.
“We could ask you the same thing,” Reiner countered, clearing his throat.
“Uh…good point. This idiot behind me wanted to find a flower to win a bet against Ymir.”
“Bertolt and I just wanted to show Eren and Armin the lake.”
“That’s a better reason than ours,” you chuckled, finally having calmed down. “I’m just glad you weren’t Shadis.”
“You and me both.”
__________________________________________
“Wow,” you gushed, staring at the moon’s reflection from the water. “It’s like a mirror.”
“I know. Isn’t it insane,” Reiner smiled.
It was. It really was. The moon was big and bright, while the water was still and black. They complimented and contrasted each other all at once. It was like a painting that lit up the night. It was stunning.
“I honestly never pegged you to be a softie, Braun,” you teased with a smirk.
“Well,” he smiled. “I thought Eren could use some inspiration for tomorrow.” And you felt your lips lift into a sweet smile.
You meant it. You didn’t expect Reiner to be so caring or considerate, yet he was and you found yourself liking it a lot.
He was big and strong on the outside, but gentle on the inside.
“Well, Eren. Are you inspired,” you asked softly and he nodded with a big grin, causing you to giggle.
“Ah hah,” Viktor shouted and you sent him a glare.
“Hey, why are you ruining the moment,” you questioned.
“I found it, I actually found it!”
“What?”
He sprinted to you in an instant and your eyes widened once you saw a lotus flower resting in the palms of his hands. It was pink and gentle with mud underneath it. It really was…beautiful and the rest of the boys gathered around to witness its beauty.
“It only blooms in mud,” Viktor stated excitedly and you smiled. It had been so long since you had seen him this way and you didn’t want it to end. You wanted him to continue being happy.
“It’s beautiful,” Reiner commented. “A true beauty.” You all hummed in agreement, listening to Viktor’s rant that followed.
However, Reiner never started listening. He was still too focused on what, or rather who, he had actually been looking at when making that comment.
He was looking at you - admiring the way you shone just as brightly as the moon and thought…
How could a devil be this beautiful?

Stepanova & Bukin: “Our Fans Really Want Us To Be Together”
Tumblr media
How do you feel about being the new Russian National Champions?
Vanya: Wow! To be honest, we didn't get enough sleep. It was a busy time. We sat, talked with the team, discussed a lot. This was our first competition in a long time, so we were a little exhausted.
Sasha: So far, we don't really feel that something major has happened, but the assessment of our coaches is very important for us. They didn't know how we would perform. Yes, the coaches did everything to make us perform well. But from the very start, everything depended only on us... And we managed to perform well so many thanks to our team for this.
Vanya: In general, we liked everything very much. We missed the audience a lot and we hope to perform somewhere else soon. Yes, there are nerves, but they are very pleasant nerves. Competition is great.
Is this national title the main award of your career?
Sasha: No. We have silver and bronze medals from European Championships. We have also performed well at World Championships. The situation here is completely different in all aspects. We had a different task... But overall, we are very pleased with the title of Russian National Champions.
Vanya: Yes, indeed, this is the first time for us. The support was great. Even though the arena was only 35 percent capacity, we felt incredible warmth.
Tumblr media
Is the lack of vivid emotions due to the fact your main competitors were not here?
Sasha: Yes, many skaters were missing in Chelyabinsk. It’s a pity that this is the case. We, ourselves, were not able to participate in early competitions such as the Grand Prix in Moscow.
Vanya: For instance, Dima Aliev did not compete here although we were expecting him. We are friends with him, and we communicate a lot. We hope to meet the entire Russian team after the New Year.
Did this situation personally blur the impression of the Russian Championships?
Sasha: Of course. In addition, the federation indicated that this is not the final selection for the World Championships. We simply perceived it as a certain stage where we need to show what we are capable of.
Vanya: On the other hand, the fact that it was our first competition in a long time added more importance to it.
Is it a shame that Europeans got cancelled, while everything goes well in other sports?
Vanya: Of course, it's upsetting.
Sasha: I don’t really follow what is happening in other sports, but the cancellation of our Europeans was not a surprise. Everything pointed towards this direction gradually. We were ready for this news. We understand that holding a competition in such conditions is difficult and unsafe.
Tumblr media
How do you feel now?
Sasha: I’m good now, thanks.
Vanya: Yes, we have already recovered.
You guys joked at the press conference that you were unlucky, because you were ill with COVID at different times.
(Sasha and Vanya laugh)
Sasha: Well, yes, we were really out of luck.
How did this happen? You spend so much time together.
Sasha: At first, I just caught a cold. There was bronchitis or something like that. I got better and then fell ill again, but with COVID. I don't know why that happened, but after I got sick, the coaches and Vanya fell ill.
Vanya: Why this happened is still a mystery to us. It is very incomprehensible.
How did you handle the disease?
Vanya: It was not easy. I had palpable lung damage. The temperature was monitored for a very long time, and the dose of antibiotics was quite strong. The hardest part is not how I got sick, but how I went back to the ice. It was very strange and a little scary.
Sasha: You may be fine at home, but as soon as you go out on the ice, you immediately start coughing due to the cold air and the slightest exertion. Usually for us, skating in circles is nothing at all... But after the illness, the body perceives it as a serious threat and reacts instantly. It is scary. You start thinking: "How am I going to skate now?"
Did it come to hospitalizations?
Sasha and Vanya: No.
Vanya: Fortunately, it didn't come to that. I didn't have extreme temperatures (around 37.5 to 38 only). The only problem is that it lasted a long time. Sasha’s condition was different though. High temperatures in the beginning, but the illness quickly disappeared.
Sasha: In my case, it started with a common cold, then the whole body began to ache. I came back from training and it felt like someone was breaking all my bones from the inside. Then, body temperature began to rise. The maximum was over 39. I immediately took antibiotics. The state itself was unpleasant - you go to the kitchen, or to the bathroom and you are already very tired. You also hear how you breathe.
Tumblr media
Sasha, I looked at your Instagram and came to the conclusion that you love black and white tones. Why is that?
Sasha: In black and white, there is...
Vanya: Magic.
Sasha: Yes, some kind of charm. Many photographs look better in black and white. I like the lines and shadows.
Do you hear from fans a lot?
Sasha: Very much! Just yesterday, one fan gave gifts through the coaches. She loves our group very much, follows us to all competitions. From my understanding, she is not alone. It is just her who communicates with us. I called for a photo session, but unfortunately, this has not yet happened because of the virus situation. But yes, they write a lot! They post stories, write long messages. Sometimes I read and tears come, people give a lot of themselves. You think how this is possible. Many are busy with family and work, but they take time for us.
Vanya: Most of the times, they post our reactions to performances. This has already become a meme! We have been compared to animals. Sasha recently reposted a picture where I am a dog who smiles, and she is a serious cat. In many shots, myself and Irina Vasilievna (Zhuk) are explosive, and Sasha and Alexander Vasilievich (Svinin) are more restrained. It’s cool and funny!
Does this reflect your nature?
Vanya: I’m probably more emotional after performances. I keep everything to myself so much that it just breaks at the end. Sasha, on the other hand, gives so much to the performances and at the end, she has nothing left.
Tumblr media
Are you offended by any comments?
Vanya: Some comments are very interesting. There have certainly been times where I wanted to respond, but realized that it was pointless. It is nonsense.
Sasha: Because you will be invested in it.
Vanya: Now, I laugh at such comments. If a person doesn't like something and expresses their opinion, please, especially if it is really constructive criticism. When you see that this is not the first time a person has written, and really understands figure skating, you can listen to this... But there are some that just write for the sake of saying something.
Sasha: Yes, there are some who throw out unnecessary emotions based on nothing.
Has it ever happened that thanks to a person's comment, you changed something in your performance?
Vanya: A couple of times.
Sasha: It is not with regards to steps and technical issues though. Most comments are like “I want power, brightness.” At such moments, you can reconsider and decide that, indeed, something is missing somewhere.
It happens that unpleasant things are written by fans of other teams.
Vanya: I'm okay with this, but if you like another couple, why are you writing under our post? Go to your guys and write good things.
Sasha, you are sometimes compared to Victoria Sinitsina? Are you okay with this?
Sasha: Yes, absolutely! We sometimes laugh about our similarities. We also have common views on wardrobe sometimes.
What about the comments that you and Vanya would make a good pair in real life?
Sasha: It's fun too.
Vanya: On one hand, that is a compliment because it means that we can show real emotions on the ice. People believe in our story and think that we are also together behind the scenes... But we have already said many times that we are not a couple in real life, so it is quite strange when people ask about this.
Sasha: It's very cute though!
Vanya: Those who have been with us for a long time know that we are not together, but our fans really want us to be together.
Tumblr media
Do you follow the situation regarding Russia's two-year sentence? You guys already had some bad experiences in the past with this decision.
Sasha: Yes, we heard this news. As far as I understand, the consequences could be much worse - all athletes from Russia could be expelled indiscriminately. They could say, "Russia, goodbye." But we are still allowed to compete. Let it be without the anthem at the World Championships and the Olympics, but on our form, the name of the country can still be written. This is already pleasant for us. I do not know all the little details, but in this situation, I want to find something positive.
Vanya: Of course, we are upset, because this is our country. We would very much like to perform with the flag and anthem. But the decision has been made, and nothing can be done. We will calmly prepare for all the major competitions. It remains to be seen how athletes will be admitted to the Olympics.
What would you change in ice dance to make it more popular?
Vanya: Ice Dance is a very creative sport. Everything should look simple, easy, and unpredictable with us. In my opinion, to make our sport more popular, teams must be given more freedom for creativity. Then, the couples will not be alike. We have many rules that do not allow us to go beyond.
Sasha: In general, the rules are made for judges. Previously, ice dance judging was based on "like it or not like it."
Do you have long-term career plans?
Vanya: This season has shown that it is difficult to plan the future. We have decided to live day by day, and prepare for specific events. There have been many times where we plan a lot, and in the end, the plan does not come true.
Do you think about life after sports?
Sasha: I do not have any serious thoughts. Maybe participate in shows, but there are no specific plans. However, I can definitely say that I want to stay in figure skating and take a new role in the sport. For now, we still have a lot to accomplish. We have just reached the top level. We have just started receiving recognition from the audience.
Vanya: And we are very grateful to our fans. When new broke out that we were sick, many wrote to us and supported us. It is really motivating!
Tumblr media
Do you have plans for the New Year holidays?
Sasha: I would like to go to the skating rink in front of the Red Square. I have never been to massive street skating rinks, so I want to feel this atmosphere.
Vanya: Oh cool! Let's go and invite everyone!
A small wish to your fans at the end of the interview?
Sasha: Health and love. Be happy no matter what. Live everyday.
Vanya: To make all your dreams come true in the New Year.

you were walking in the corridor of your school, whistling to a tune of a song and all of the sudden there was a hand on your wrist, dragging you to an unknown place.
“eren? what are you doing?,” you asked, wondering about the sudden rush. the male with the man bun gave you a cheeky grin before responding,
“okay well...i might’ve ticked jean off and now he’s coming for my ass.”you rolled your eyes, letting eren drag you.
after spotting an empty locker in a deserted area of the school, eren opened it, stepping inside it. you could only sigh before stepping after him. it was a tad bit too dusty for your liking. the locker was thankfully big enough for the two of you to fit, but not large enough so that your head wasn’t literally in eren’s chest.
“out of all the places we could hide in, you decided this would be the best place?” you queried, awkwardly attempting to scoot a bit further away from the male by moving your upper body back.
eren only gave out a small chuckle before the two of you were enveloped in silence. it wasn’t a painfully tense silent but instead it was a comforting one. not knowing at what to ponder about, your gaze fell onto eren. over the past few years of knowing him, he grew taller. you didn’t realise how cramped he was until you noticed that his neck was slightly bent so that his head didn’t graze the close ceiling every now and then.
“am i that good looking?” eren’s voice you snapped out of your trance. with your cheeks dusted pink you scoffed and turned your head.
“no. i was just thinking about how stupid you look,”
eren rolled his eyes in response, “do you think horseface would find us here?”
“hopefully not,” you spoke, “say eren, uh, why did you drag me along with you? i kind of have a study session to go to,” your hands reached to the locker door as you remembered the study session mikasa invited you to. yet again, eren grabbed your wrist, stopping you from exiting.
“well to be honest, i just wanted to...spend time with you,” he answered sheepishly. you could only blink twice in surprise.
and then you finally realise how close the two of you were. his musky scent was overwhelming you, nearly knocking you into a daze. when you tilted your head upwards to speak, you swore your heart nearly stopped beating.
his emerald eyes were stuck on you. he stared at you with a gentle gaze. his stray long brunette hair touched your cheek which was reddening due to the close proximity between the two of you.
your sweet moment and what could’ve been your first kiss was interrupted.
“I FOUND THEM JEAN!”

“DAMN PAPA YOU A RARE BREED, NO COMPARING AND ITS MOTHERFUCKING SCARY-”
the voices of sasha, connie, jean and you screaming the lyrics of doja cat’s streets deafened eren, the poor driver who has been tortured to listen to your wonderful vocals.
it was around midnight and you, eren, mikasa, armin, connie, sasha and jean decided to go for a late night drive. mikasa and eren were sat at the front whilst connie, sasha, you and armin were squished in the second row and jean was left at the back alone (he lost in rock paper scissors).
you absolutely adored late night drives. something about the quiet ambience of the night was remarkable. whilst the city was asleep, the moon, the stars and you and your friends were awake. late night drives made you feel like you were in a coming of age teen movie.
“look! the ocean!” armin gaped, driving your attention away from sasha who was eating her second bag of french fries. you leaned towards the window that armin was sitting beside, looking at the sparkling water.
armin on the other hand gulped as you leaned forward. your eyes were locked on the view and you didn’t even notice how close you were to his face.
“look over here!” connie chirped. you immediately turned the other way. armin let out a quiet sigh of relief, his heart thumping rapidly. every time you turned to look at the window which was beside him, he’d have to avert his eyes away from you, flustered. thankfully, you didn’t take notice of it.
“theres a left turn so hang on everyone,” spoke mikasa, gripping the handles.
eren was one reckless of a driver. it was a surprise as to how no cops had pulled you guys over yet. everyone found his random fast speeds and turns exhilarating. well... everyone except armin. the poor boy would pray for his life every time there was a turn.
eren spun the wheel with great excitement, making the car follow suit. sasha let out a squeal whilst connie and mikasa hung onto their hand grip like their life depended on it.
you had your eyes shut, your hands unconsciously latched onto the person closest to you. armin. armin was flabbergasted at the sudden contact and the swelling of your chest against his arm didn’t help his crimson cheeks and flustered state at all.
once you felt the car slow down you fluttered your eyes open, then realising your hold on armin. your cheeks tinted red and you immediately let go,
“i-uh sorry!” you squeaked, placing your hands on your lap.
armin quickly turned his head to the window to hide the shyness prominent on his cheeks, “it’s fine,”
well now armin wouldn’t be too terrified of whenever eren had to take a turn.

Raging Jealousy | Levi x Reader |
Tumblr media
"Fuck... fuck.. fuck.. fuck!" You hissed under your breath as you hastily pulled your jacket on. You were already late for the morning roll call and you knew how much the captain hates tardiness. You knew that you're already in trouble but then, its better than being absent and getting severely punished by him.
You ran towards the open field where everyone have gathered. Commander Hanji was already announcing some important things such as the training schedules as well as the expeditions outside the wall for next week- you knew by then that the morning roll call is already finished which made you cuss under your breath.
You crept towards your empty position right beside Sasha. "Where have you been, [Y/N]?" She whispers worriedly.
"I woke up late... I totally forgot its Monday." You whisper back. Sasha was about to speak when a soft squeak escaped her mouth.
"I- I think Captain Levi... caught you" she mutters nervously in which you cautiously looked up at the platform where the superiors are standing up. You felt your face pale up and goosebumps formed all over your skin. He was indeed looking at you- well, more likely glaring at you. If looks could kill, you're probably dead by now.
"Alright! That's it for today, you may proceed for breakfast!" Commander Hanji announced quite cheerfully. Everyone made their way to the mess hall, and you were about to follow when-
"Jaeger! [L/N]!" A low deep voice called out angrily. You looked up to see a pale Eren who looked at you warily, before he turned back to walk towards the captain. You winced by the thought of whatever the captain will punish you with before finally folllowing Eren.
"Tardiness!" Captain Levi pointed out harshly. "You idiots know how I hate tardiness! And the fact that two in my squad are late does not make me happy." He added sharply. You weren't looking at him, but you could feel daggers stabbing right into you.
"Sorry, Captain!" Both you and Eren saluted. Your hand trembling on your chest and you could feel sweat forming on your forehead.
"As for your punishment, both of you will have to clean the mess hall and wash the dishes after breakfast then proceed to training immediately. Got it?!" The captain snapped. His voice making both of you flinch.
"Yes, Captain!" Both of you saluted. Once you peeked up at Levi, you saw him giving you one last glare before finally walking towards the mess hall.
"I swear the captain could be so harsh sometimes." You let out a sigh while you wiped the dishes Eren just finished washing.
"Sometimes?" He snorted, shaking his head. Captain Levi is known to be the most strict and harsh superior compared to the others, he's also popular with giving the most ridiculous punishment- cleaning. "More like everytime! You do know how much he beat me up during the hearing at the court, right?"
You nodded, scrunching up your nose at the memory. Eren was completely beat up, but then again, how could he complain when he's a Titan shifter and could regenerate quickly despite getting hurt? The others could not generate and get healed quickly whenever the captain beat them up- or even get their tooth immediately growing back after an hour or so.
"I bet you have a thing for him, don't ya?" Eren teased to which you immediately reacted.
"Wh-What?" You huffed, scrubbing the plates dry a little harshly. You could feel your cheeks heating up at his words.
"Aye! C'mon~ You don't have to be shy." He pressed on, wiping his hand on his pants so he could poke your waist. The action immediately emitting a small squeal from you which made your brows quirk up.
"Oho! Someone's ticklish~" He laughs, wiggling his fingers tauntingly infront of you.
"Eren, stop!" You whined, putting the plate down so you could cover your waist and, step back away from him. You were ticklish, and thought that's the worst torture a person could ever recieve.
"Come here, will you!" He laughed, grabbing your waist and started tickling you- his fingers moving rapidly as he continued tickling you. A strained unwanted loud laugh forced out of your mouth as you tried to pry his hands off your waist.
"No, stop it!" You whined and laughed at the same time, grabbing onto his wrists as you tried to push him off.
The door slamming open and the loud thud that emitted when it hit the wall made both of you stop. You looked up to see the captain standing there. He wasn't in his usual bored look- his eyes were dark and angry instead. His lips formed into a deep frown and his brows furrowed. He glared at the both of you- well, at you. Then at Eren.
"I didn't punish you and let you wash the dishes just so you could flirt." He snapped- eerily calm and low. His piercing eyes darting towards Eren's hands which made you realize that it was still holding onto your waist. You immediately pried them off and stepped a little further away from him. You could see how Levi wanted to cut them off right there and then.
"You brats always find a way to have some fun huh?" He hissed. His eyes darted towards Eren- which immediately made him flinch. You could basically hear him grit his teeth due to how frightened he was.
"Eren!" The captain called out sharply.
"Y-Yes, captain?" Eren saluted.
"After you finish washing the dishes- I want you to clean all of the equipments in the storage. I want it squeaky clean. After that, clean the classroom and the dorms! Then you may proceed for your training- If you decided to skip, I won't hesitate to give you a fucking hard time. Got it?!" Captain Levi snapped before his eyes darted towards you.
"Yes, captain!" Eren saluted once again before he proceeded to continue washing the dishes after he sent you a wary look.
You wanted to step back and run away but you knew you'll be punished even if you managed to escape- plus, Levi was fast enough to catch up to you.
"As for you..." He started to speak. Even without looking at him, you could feel daggers stabbing right into you. "Come with me." He stated before turning his back and heads out of the kitchen.
Eren looked up at you, wincing. "Sorry, [Y/N]." He whispers before he continued washing the dishes. You shake your head before following the captain outside.
The walk towards his office was awkward, tense and quiet at the same time. It was scary honestly. You didn't know what to do- In fact, you even wanted to flee and ran away while he's not looking. But then again, it will only make things worst.
Once you were inside his office with you following behind him, you stayed by the door- not wanting to close it. Well, in case he decided to kill you- atleast someone can witness it. He leaned back against the table. He crossed his arms across his chest while glaring at you.
"Close the door, brat." He snapped which made you flinch. You were a little hesistant as you did so before you pressed your back against the closed door. You avoided looking at him so you darted your eyes down the shiny wooden floor.
An awkward and tense silence filled the whole room which made you squimish against the door. "C-Captain?" You call out cautiously.
"Oh... so I'm captain now huh?" He snorted which made you look up at him. He now have a bored look on his face but you could still feel his anger. "What? Forgot who I am when you started flirting with Jaeger?" He mocked.
"Look, Levi..." You finally let out a sigh, now knowing the reason why he was so angry. He was jealous. Your boyfriend was jealous.
Yes. The captain of your squad, the Humanity's strongest soldier, the slayer of all titans is your boyfriend. Levi Ackerman. Though nobody knows about that of course. Both of you agreed that your relationship needs to be a secret. Of course, you wanted to tell everyone about it... but you were afraid that the pressure of letting everyone know about your relationship will affect your duty as a soldier and a part of Levi's squad. They will judge you and him- they might even point out how he isn't too harsh when it comes to you.
Levi ignored you as you called him out. His eyes rolling in annoyance as he looked away. "What? Explaining how much you enjoyed his hands on your waist?" He gritted his teeth as he spoke. His crossed arms tigtening to prevent himself from getting violent.
You couldn't help but purse your lips so he wouldn't notice the smile on your face. You approached him, and holds onto his arms, loosening it so you could hold onto his hand. He has calloused hands, probably from gripping onto his swords tightly whenever he's in a fight with a titan. You gave it a gentle squeeze. "You're jealous, aren't you?" You asked, a teasing smile forming on your lips.
That immediately made him frown, snatching his hand away from you and turning his back at you. He crossed his arms across his chest again. "Tch, why would I?" He snapped which made you giggle. It was such a huge turn of event. You were late. You got punished. You got scared shitless. And now you're here, trying to calm your boyfriend.
"Why won't you go to Jaeger? Help him out or whatever. I don't care. Don't talk to me." He added sharply.
You don't know, but Levi being jealous is hella sexy and cute at the same time. You walked closer to him, wrapping your arms around him from behind and nuzzles your face against his back. You were a little shorter than him- probably the same height as Historia. You felt his stance turn rigid from the action but you didn't think too much of it as you snuggle closer. "Mm, I prefer staying here with my jealous boyfriend." You murmur softly, loving the warmth emitting from him. Its rare for you to have moments like this- most especially when both of you are busy. Him with paperworks, and you with training.
You felt him relax on your hold which made you smile. He turned around and faced you, wrapping his arms around you tightly so he could press you against him. You nuzzle your face against his chest. The scent of fresh linen greeting your nose.
"You little brat... No more flirting like that again." He murmurs. "No more letting anyone touch you like that again, unless its me touching you." He added, pressing a kiss on your forehead. He lifted you up and made you sit on the table, positioning himself in between your legs.
"But what about my sparring training? They would have to touch me." You explained, wrapping your arms around his neck as you pull him closer.
"Train with girls. Train with Mikasa... or Sasha." He told you firmly, pressing his lips against yours before you could even complain. But then again, you immediately melted in the kiss, and kissed him back.
The kiss was turning so deep and passionate, tilting his head to the other side as he cupped your cheek. You pulled him closer, parting your lips for him- when a loud knock came from the door. Levi didn't pull away immediately and he kept his arms around your waist.
"Name and purpose" he called out. His lips placing soft kisses along your jaw while his hand gives your waist a gentle squeeze. You bite onto your lower lip, trying your best not to emit any noise that will rat you out.
"Armin Arlert, sir! Commander Hanji wants me to send you a message regarding the expedition next week." Armin called out from the other side of the door, glad that he decided not to come in.
Letting out a sigh, Levi finally pulls away and helps you down the table. "I'll meet you here again, tonight. I'll give you your punishment." He smirked, placing one last soft kiss on your lips before he walked towards the door.
