PLEASE do not disturb my peace while you are at war with yourself 😌

This peace cost me a lot of sacrifice, and took me years of internal work, inner search, self-reflection, meditation, whole nights of crying, long months picking up my heart, shattered on the ground, and below.

It cost me all my fears and my own limitations, it cost me to learn what my traumas were, my triggers, as well as each and every one of their origins.

It cost me years of learning, and re-learning, it made me question all my beliefs, my faith, my practice.

Now I'm just here, waiting for you to achieve that same peace, everything else is noise 😌 People make a lot of noise, the silence you seek is inside, it is imperturbable, unbreakable, indestructible, unstoppable, find it, embrace it, use it.

Am I really healed or did I just burry everything?

Sometimes I can’t tell if I have completely healed or did I just mask everything? Have I completely found restoration from within me or did I just conceal the pain? Am I really renewed or did I just burry every trauma deep within? Have I completely forgotten the painful thoughts or am I just avoiding thinking of them? Maturity of my life I spent it healing myself through doing variety of things for my recovery; self care, yoga, meditation, prayers, journaling, working out, healthy foods, aroma therapy etc. but despite all of that it’s still as though there’s an unhealed part of myself that is hard to deal with and can’t just go away like that and something that can’t be easily erased just by doing self care routines. I suddenly breakdown, cry, out of nowhere, sometimes not knowing why or where these emotions are coming from or what did trigger them? They just come to the surface. How do I heal that part? Is there even such a thing as “healed”? What if it’s a never ending process? Do we really ever heal or we just forget and move on?

As an adult I’ve always said that I’m not a materialistic person, and I have finally realized why that is. I’ve longed for a genuine connection with people ever since I could remember and the people that should have loved and nurtured me, instead abused me. I value relationships over earthly possessions because that is what matters... when I started the two relationships that ended being abusive, I would say to myself, I just want to be loved, I hope this person will finally love me so that I could be happy. I was starved for love because I did not get that from my father during my childhood. This isn’t a poor me story, this is reality, a reality that the majority of us have experienced and it stays with you. Your “Life Filter” shapes you into who you are: what’s important to you, who you connect with, what you connect to and why you live the life you live. Nothing makes my heart happier than helping others, being loved, being cherished, being understood and making genuine connections.
