Okay, I may get hated for this, but it is my opinion.
Let’s just get straight to my point :
Peter Quill is overhated.
You may don’t think so, but honestly has everybody just forgotten how awesome he really is? When I went to the cinema back then to watch Guardians of the Galaxy, everybody adored him.
Well, he is funny, sarcastic, pretty hot (thanks to Chris Pratt) and an actual down to earth character!
You may see Black Widow and Hawkeye as down to earth as well, but honestly it’s not like everybody can fight like Black Widow, taking out hundreds with a gun and some tricks up her sleeve, while never really getting a scratch. Hawkeye can literally look the other way and still aim like a pro with his arrow. I don’t think any of you guys can just do that.
Don’t get me wrong here, I really like both of these characters but for me they aren’t down to earth.
So, to get back to my point.
Peter Jason Quill is a guy.
A guy who grew up in Missouri.
His mother died infront of him, because of Ego.
Yondu took him immediately afterwards and he teaches Peter how to fly a spaceship, stealing and how to use some blasters.
He’s just a guy. But what makes him special is that he brings the group together.
Even tho he doesn’t have a titanium suit, hasn’t gotten any super soldier serum and can’t mindcontrol people.
He can fight and he does know how to defend himself and all of the others, but at the end of the day he is just a guy from Missouri, that lost his mom at an early age.
And everybody blames him, that he punched Thanos, leading to the snap.
Are you all just not educated enough or do you just want to hate somebody ? Doctor Strange gave the time stone away.
For a fucking reason. It is supposed to happen.
The only reality that bet Thanos was the one, were Peter Quill got angry at Thanos.
And please, even if they got the Gauntlet completely off, he would have grabbed it within a second and disappear.
It’s nothing new that Peter freaks out after hearing of a death from his loved ones.
1. His mother
He couldn’t take her hand and the moment she died, he screamed the hell out of his lungs.
He ran away and cried.
(and may I add, in this scene it’s told that he literally wanted to save a frog, the other kids smushed and he got a beat up from the other kids when he told them to stop)
2. Ego
As Ego told Peter that he put that brain tumor inside his mother‘s head, he literally gets out of his mindcontrol and blasts his father to hell.
3. Gamora
When Nebula said that Gamora was killed by Thanos for the Soul Stone, he freaked out.
Of course he did.
I would have done the same to be honest.
The only real thing he has left, that he truly loves is gone.
He had a similar reaction with Ego.
So it’s nothing new!!!
Personally, I think that if Peter wasn’t there, Nebula would have done something similar.
But well. I just think that so many people that are fans of the MCU, forget that it’s supposed to happen and just because he freaked out, it doesn’t mean that he is a bad character.
He‘s just emotional and vulnerable.
I really do hope, that Love & Thunder, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and the Holiday Special, reminds everyone that doesn’t like Quill for the events in infinity war finally likes him again.
Plus, he may be a half celestial, or was, but he gave that up, since he thinks it’s better to be like everybody else.
Think about it.
I hope I could kinda change your mind on Quill.
DISCLAIMER : I do not want to attack somebody with this post, my only intention is to get people to like this character again.
If you feel attacked in any way, please let me know. (Sorry for using this many hashtags, I just want this to be heard)

A/N:Takes place post season 6B. Erica, Boyd, Allison, Aiden, Josh and Tracy are all alive in this,  Jackson,Isaac, Ethan and Hayden never left and Kira is returning from training.
Pairing: Derek Hale x Male Reader
Requested by: @softboi-vibes
Derek’s loft became the unofficial official place for pack meetings and the place where a good portion of the pack lived, mainly Derek, his bitten, and the twins. He more or less adopted the chimera pack after he came back and found out about what happened while he was gone and how you and the rest of the chimeras, excluding Hayden, were living in what used to be the Dread Doctors lair.
His loft and life becomes a lot more lively after that.
Now having an oddly domestic life with the teenagers he turned years ago teaching the younger betas and being care-free and messing with each other, the twins that are now trusted packmates instead of the Alphas they fought long ago.
Derek thought it was nice having a large home with lots of people, until he decided not as much so when you’re trying to be romantic and you have teenagers yelling at each other or causing trouble.
After a full week of repeated attempts of trying to surprise you with something romantic that constantly got annihilated by the other pack members, he was ready to scream. First Lydia found a way to get Erica drunk and that was a disaster, then Theo and Malia got into a fight which took Scott to defuse, Mason spraining his ankle while Allison and Chris trained him for being second-in-command for stand in Alpha Liam, Josh had short circuited the school while trying to get a fix and Corey had to sneak him out, Peter made comments on Kanimas which made Tracy and Jackson aggressive towards him. To put it simply, Derek was done with everyone and everything, he just wanted to have a day for the two of you without something happening. So when you walk into the loft to tell Derek that you got Stiles to have Scott take the pack on a vacation he was about to cry in frustration, why couldn’t the two of you just be alone? You saunter over and straddle Derek as he leans back on the sofa “Scott thinks this will be good for packbuilding. Melissa and the Sheriff get a nice dinner date, Peter and Chris can do whatever it is they do together, the teenagers will probably shop around a little and sight see. Stiles and Lydia get what’s happening and are convincing Scott that it’s fine that we are going to stay here.” You explain as you smile down at your boyfriend
You drop your voice down to a whisper as you continue “It’ll be just us and no interruptions, Der.” Leaning down, you press your lips to his and your hands rest on his shoulder, pressing against his front as his hands slide down your sides. “Just one more day, then we get a week of just us.”
——
You were lying underneath Derek on his bed as the two of you made out, his hands riding up your chest to remove your shirt as you broke away and lifted your arms so he could remove it, Derek taking his own shirt off as soon as he got rid of yours.
You feel Derek’s hand tug at your pants as he kisses you again, you put your hand on his as you break the kiss.
You give him a breathless “Wait” and he immediately shoots off of you like a rocket.
“Oh my god, Y/N” Derek says as he looks like he’s torn between running and holding you. “I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to-”
You sit up and lean forward, silencing him with a reassuring kiss and not moving till he responds by kissing back. “You didn’t hurt me, you didn’t rush me. I just wanted to ask you something.”
Derek nods, still looking like a sad puppy. “Yeah?”
You smile and lean back, pulling him back over you into the position you were in before as you whisper “Be gentle? This is my first time.” against his ear.
Derek tenses from above you, looking down at you with eyebrows raised in shock. “You’re a virgin!?”
You laugh and smile up at him. “Yeah, You’re my first everything. Crush, Date, Kiss, you were my first for all of those.” You tell him as the two of you adjust so he’s on his back and your head is on his chest.
You can feel him the gears turning in his head before he finally asks you “So that time we snuck away during Lydia’s party?”
You nod and give an acknowledging hum. “Yup, ”
You trace patterns on Derek’s stomach and glance down, seeing the tent in his jeans. “No wonder you were so responsive.” He says, causing you to playfully slap his abs.
“It was my first time getting a blowjob, of course I was going to be responsive.”
“Then that time in the Camaro when we were waiting for Stiles?”
“Uh huh, first time giving you a bj”
Derek lets out a quiet ‘fuck’ before he pauses and asks “Then this is?”
You move so you’re on top of Derek and smile down at him. “Me placing my trust in you and hoping you’ll make this night unforgettable” You tell him before leaning down and kissing him, breaking contact just long enough to say. “You don’t have to be gentle”
Derek didn’t need anymore encouragement. He grabs your hair in one clawed hand and puts his mouth to yours, sliding his tongue against yours as his free hand cuts your sweatpants from your waist.
You let out a noise of protest that turns into a moan as you fumble his belt buckle in your hands while he slides sharp nails down your back light enough to only sting before grabbing your ass.
He flips the two of you over and lets go of you just long enough to slide his pants off before hovering over you, one hand searching the nightstand while the other held your face and slid a thumb into your mouth.
You close your eyes as you wrap one hand around yourself, holding his hand with the other, satisfied at the way Derek’s breath hitched when you did that as he retrieved the desired item.
You whine when he moves his hand away, opening your eyes when you hear the click of a cap, annoyance turning into arousal as you watch him put lube on his fingers.
He smirks and leans down, running a fang against your lower lip. You open your mouth for him in a breathy moan and grab his hair when he lightly bites your lip, his tongue sliding into your mouth as a lubed finger teases your hole.
You were about to tell him to hurry up when he slides a finger in, causing you to moan and tighten around his finger, bucking your hips into his.
Derek gives you a little approving grunt and eases in another finger, curling them upwards to hit your prostate. You moan into his mouth as you press back against him, putting your arms around him in an attempt to keep him close as if he’d leave. Sliding a hand down your front, he takes the two of you in his hand and lazily strokes causing you to jump between trying to hump into his hand and press back against his fingers.
Derek murmurs encouraging praise into your ear as he lets go of himself to hold only you, adding in a third finger and pumping them in and out of you slowly, making small thrusts and twirls against your prostate with his fingers.
“Derek, please just fuck me already” You say, trying to sound commanding but only sounding needy and impatient.
He chuckles against your neck and moves off of you with a cheeky grin, grabbing the lube and squirting a generous amount onto his length. “Are you ready?” Derek asks you, adjusting positions so your legs were to the sides of his waist and pressed up against him.
“Yeah, Der, please. Please fuck me already” You beg, not caring how you sounded.
Derek nods and lines himself up, grabbing into your hips as he slowly slides into you. Both of you moaning when he enters you, Derek at your tightness and you at the stretched feeling. “Fuck, Y/N. So good for me, so tight” he moans as he presses in a little further
You don’t say anything in reply, moaning loudly as he brushes against your prostate. You put your arms back around him, pulling him down to you to reconnect in a kiss as he begins bottoming out.
Derek pauses once he’s all the way in. “You OK?” you nod quickly and try to move your hips, not succeeding in much as he is holding you still with an iron grip. “I need you to say it for me, how are you feeling?”
“Good, so fucking good. Move, Der. Please, I need you right now. Need you so fuckin’ bad. Don’t wanna be able to walk in the morning.” You blabber, putting your head in the crook of his neck, whining in an attempt to make him start moving. Letting out a little chuckle on how needy and desperate you sound, enjoying how you are already begging for him.
“Slow down there, Baby. Maybe we should start a little slow, I don’t wanna hurt you.” Derek reasons, now knowing this is your first time.
“Don’t care, I’ll heal, need you now” You tell him, holding onto his shoulders.
Derek pauses for a second before responding. “If it hurts, or you’re uncomfortable, say something and I’ll stop. Got it?”
You nod against his neck and give a little mh hm.
“Got it?” Derek asks you again.
You groan into his shoulder. “Yes, Derek! I got it, now fuck me!” you whine, moaning when he slowly pulls himself nearly all the way out and pushes back into you.
“Like that?” Derek taunts, repeating the process in a slow rhythm.
“Fuck, yes. ” You beg, moaning when he pulls back and buries himself in you again.
“So good for me” Derek’s growl reverberates through his chest as he sucks a hickey on to your jaw.
You let out little moans consisting of pleasured little whines, whimpers and ‘Derek’. You can tell he likes when you moan his name, he would make this rumble in his chest or give you a firmer stroke all while keeping his tortuously slow pace.
“Derek, please!” You whine as he sucks a spot on your neck that makes you melt, Derek sliding back into you just as you relaxed, making your hips just and sliding more of him inside of you.
“Please, what? baby boy.” You can hear the smile in Derek’s voice as he talks. “You gotta tell me what you want.”
You were already blushing,this made it even worse “Iwantyoutofuckmeintothemattress.”
Derek’s hips stuttered into a pause as his eyebrows scrunched, replaying what you said in his head. Smiling when he figured it out.
You didn’t like the smile he had on his face, like he was about to do something he shouldn’t.“I’m sorry, what? I didn’t hear you.”
You repeat what you said, mumbling into your shoulder.
“One more time?”
Groaning, you quickly say “I want you to fuck me into the mattress so hard I can’t walk in the morning!”
Moaning when Derek pulls out and flips you over on to your stomach,  your erection caught between you and the covers as Derek pressed you down into the mattress. “I heard you the first time, just wanted to hear it again” Derek teases you, ignoring your grumble.
Tilting your head up as he presses his muscular chest against your back, teasing your hole by rubbing his tip against it as he nips at your ear. “You sure you want me to be rough? I don’t mind-”
He cuts himself off with a hitched breath when you press back against him, moaning as his tip pushes in to you. “Fuck, Y/N.” Derek groans as you test his self restraint
“Derek, I swear to god if you don’t fuck me right now I’ll-” You get cut off as Derek slams into you fully, causing you to moan and arch your back against his toned chest.
Derek putting more of his weight on you as he continues with fast, sharp thrusts. “You’ll do what, exactly?” Derek asks from behind you ear, pushing your head into the covers and teething at your throat with a threatening growl.
Caught in the pleasure of Derek hitting all of the right spots inside if you and him marking your neck. Reduced to the blabbering of Derek’s name and begging for more.
“That’s right, you’re so good for me. Go ahead, make some noise. Fuck you’re so hot, Y/N” Derek praises you while he works at your neck, loving the way he can feel you moaning as he marks you up.
You could feel yourself nearing the edge, that familiar warmth spreading through you as you fisted the sheets, Derek must have picked up on it since he slid a hand down your front and wrapped a large hand around you.
Moaning loudly when jerks you to the fast pace of his thrusts, moving your hips to try and escape and chase the overwhelming pleasure at the same time. “You close, baby boy? Huh? Gonna cum for me?” Derek gruff voice growls from behind your ear, hips stuttering in their lost rhythm as you tightened around him when you came with a moan of his name.
Derek following you into orgasm moments later, a reverberating rumble sounding from his chest as he presses as far as he can into you, lowering you flat against the bed and pausing his movements as he came inside of you.
You give a pleasure sigh when he lays his weight on you, placing his head into the crook of your neck near the areas he marked only minutes ago, feeling his hairy chest against your back as you are happily trapped against the bed beneath his weight.
“Was that good?” Derek quietly asks, sliding his hands up your arms and holding your hands.
You let out a content hmm as you feel yourself drifting off.
“I’ll take that as a yes” Derek interprets as he listens to your breathing and your heart return to a resting rate.
After a few minutes of content post-orgasmic bliss Derek goes to move off of you, pulling out in the process.
You whine at the loss of his warm body, causing him to chuckle. “I’ll be right back, I’m just starting the bath.”
You reply with a grunt and a weak thumbs up from a hand that never left the bed. A minute later you are being scooped up, immediately resting your against Derek. Being lulled to sleep by the bounce of him walking as he carries you.
“Ok, in you go” Derek says as he begins to maneuver you in a way he can place you into the tub without just dropping you. You let out a whine and press into him more, smiling when he gives you an irritated sigh. “I will drop you” Derek says in a serious tone.
You reply with a quiet “Jerk” as you get into the tub with his help, sighing contentedly when the hot water touches you.
“See? Nice isn’t it” Derek says, easing you into the rest of the way into the tub as you close your eyes.
Replying with a pleased ‘hmm’ you slide down a little farther and say “In.” Derek replies with a confused “Huh?” as you turn to him and open a sleepy eye. “Get in” You tell him as he smiles and gently nudges your back.
You move forward and sit up a little, leaning back against him when you feel his legs slide alongside yours and arms wrap around you.
The two of you adjust positions for a few seconds until you are in a position where Derek is able to clean you off.
Dozing off somewhere after Derek cleaned your hair and started on your body, only waking after he came back in and dried you off after putting new sheets on the bed. Falling straight back asleep as soon as he covered you up.

30 Day Fandom Challenge
Here we go again for my fandom challenge. You still with me? @domsberto I'd also like to nominate @jimonsprettyface
This next fandom is one that I have been a part of from the very beginning and it holds a special place in my heart. Hold on tight and for those who haven't seen it, spoilers ahead.
Day 2- Teen Wolf
(TV Show not Movie)
1) Favorite Character: Stiles Stilinski
Tumblr media
Reason: I have a thing for adorable dorks apparently. 😂
Ok so I adore Stiles the most because he is the backbone and heartbeat of the group. Sure he's a spazz and a nerd but he also always finds a way to get the group out of sticky situations because of his intelligent and knack for looking at things from every angle (he truly is his father's son....it helps his Father is the Sheriff alot of the time). He is loyal to a fault and though he has a hard time trusting most newcomers, once you are in he will literally follow you to the ends of the earth. He is a hopeless romantic, as shown with how he is with Lydia and even Malia. He loves deeply and thought he tends to be a fuck up at times he always finds a way to make things right. He keeps the others in line and helps everyone that needs his help. As the only human of the group he takes his job very seriously and is damn good at keeping the group together even when he personally feels like falling apart. I adore him to no end.
2) Most Relatable Character: Liam Dunbar
Tumblr media
Reason: Liam is an adorable, scared and confused little rage monster. Unlike the others on the show who had a few seasons to get used to the world of the supernatural, Liam was still new to the world and was often left scratching his head wondering what the hell was going on. I can relate to that because even in real life I don't know what the hell is going on most of the time. He is also the most relatable because unlike the others on the show, he actually acts his age for the most part and wasn't forced to grow up as fast as the others. Honestly, for a young Beta wolf he can be the most human of them all at times. He likes to have fun, he likes to hang out with his girlfriend and play lacrosse. He marches to the beat of his own drum, which I do most of the time. Another thing I can relate to is having a short temper. While my temper is not nearly as bad as Liam's (who as Intermittent Explosive Disorder) I still get how hard it is to calm down once that temper is triggered.
3) Most Underrated Character: Isaac Lahey
Tumblr media
Reason: Besides Derek, Isaac probably had the most growth of all the characters on the show before his exit from the show. He had to shoulder alot of pain and loss in his life starting with his mom leaving and his brother dying, then suffering from years of abuse at the hands of his father. After being turned by Derek, he felt empowered to help not only himself but others as well and did all that he could to help people in need. He even found it in him to forgive his father for abusing him for so long, which takes strength all on it's own. He went from being a scared and abused little boy to being a badass who did everything he could to help people he cared about and those who were unable to defend themselves. I see you Isaac, I see you and I appreciate you.
4) Most Overrated Character: Derek Hale
Tumblr media
Reason: Ok before I start this, let me just says that I love Derek Hale ok? He is all kinds of sexy and has some good qualities but of all the people on the show he is also the most overrated. Ok hear me out here before you come at me. Throughout the series Derek is hyped up as this big bad Alpha dude. Yes, he turned a bunch of teens into wolves and helped them, and Scott, learn the ropes but when it came down to a fight most of the time he either made things worse or just didn't show up when he was needed the most (example when they were fighting the Nogitsune, Dread Doctors, Ghost Riders, Alphas). Most of the time it was Scott and his pack that ended up saving the day. Sure Derek helped gather intel but as far as fighting goes, he didn't really do much for such a "Big Bad Alpha" who threatened to rip people's throats out with his teeth. Hell he didn't even kill the bitch that murdered his ENTIRE family, nor did he kill the Darach...instead he slept with her. Wow Derek, just wow. He ran most of the time, went MIA alot of the time only to make a dramatic entrance and knock a few people around when Scott already had things under control. I love Derek but.....some big bad Alpha he was.
5) Least Favorite Character(s): Tied Kate, Gerard, and Victoria Argent
Reason: First of all, Kate....She got away with murdering an entire family (minus Derek, Laura, Peter and Cora) and then manages to cheat death by turning into a freaky ass werejaguar when Peter ripped her throat out. How?!?!?! No matter how much chaos she starts she still ends up getting away. How is she not dead yet? Jesus! She was a manipulative person and honestly one of the most toxic on the show besides her shady ass who I will talk about next.
Gerard was a piece of work. He brainwashed Allison into trying to kill her friends, he praised Kate for killing the entire Hale family, he tortured and killed innocent supernaturals simply for existing and used Jackson in his kanima form to carry out his shady agenda. He was also a hypocrite. He hates supernaturals yet relied on Scott to help take away his pain when he was sick and dying only to turn around and train a new generation of Anti-Supernatural hunters to do his bidding. He was a piece of shit.
Victoria Argent was the Matriarch of the Argent family and even when her daughter (Allison) and husband (Chris) wanted to actually help the innocent supernaturals she did everything in her power to make sure they felt like shit for wanting to help. She freaking tortured and tried to kill Scott for no other reason than he was a werewolf that was screwing her daughter and then made herself out to be a victim when Derek came to save Scott and he bit her a few times after she attacked him. She refused to turn and killed herself instead of facing the consequences her actions lead to (her turning into the very thing she hated, a werewolf).
6) Favorite Canon Pairing: Stydia (Stiles Stilinski and Lydia Martin)
Tumblr media
Reason: From the beginning when you first see Stiles and Lydia interact on screen you start to root for the spastic nerd to win the heart of the most popular girl in school. Stiles always saw the real Lydia that she hid behind her popular facade. He saw how smart she was, how much she actually cared for people despite pretending like she didn't. He had been in love with her since the 3rd grade and even when they dated other people, that love never died. The closer they got as friends the more you wanted them to just end up together. Several seasons later and we finally hear them confess their love for each other and finally FINALLY get together. Praise be to all things Holy! Stiles and Lydia manage to balance each other out and anchor each other. When Stiles has panic attacks, Lydia is there to help calm him down. When Lydia gets overwhelmed by her Banshee powers, Stiles is there to help ground her. Stiles saved Lydia more times than I can count but she saved him too on more than one occasion. Stiles and Lydia have a love that is beautiful and pure. I see them lasting forever and they should even now that the show has been over for a while now. They are beautiful and they are my OTP. I could go on forever but I will just leave it here.
7) Favorite Non-Canon Ship: Scisaac (Scott McCall and Isaac Lahey)
Tumblr media
[Close Call Honorable Mention: Sterek (Stiles Stilinski & Derek Hale)]
Reason: Ok first of all this was a close race between my boys Scisaac and my boys Sterek but when I look back at both pairings, I love the purity of Scott and Isaac versus the almost toxic pairing that is Sterek. (I adore Sterek but come on! Looking back now they were hella toxic!) Now for Scott and Isaac they had their moments. They lived together and Scott always managed to find a way to help bring Isaac back to reality when he had moments where he would lapse into PTSD style symptoms and nightmares. They always had each other's backs and they always gave each other looks that went beyond that of just friendship. Hell Isaac even agreed with hearts in his eyes that Scott was the "hot girl". I believe that if these two had of both cut Allison lose and crossed the boundary of friendship into a romantic relationship they would have been just as strong as Stydia. A pure and passionate kind of love born out of genuine care for one another.
8) Least Favorite Pairing: Stalia (Stiles Stilinski and Malia Tate)
Tumblr media
Reason: First of all their first hook up was in a freaking insane asylum so that right there is not a good start for any lasting relationship. Throughout their relationship, Malia took Stiles for granted and then had the nerve to get jealous when he paid more attention to Lydia (who he had been in love with forever at that point). Malia had the mindset of a child and was immature most of the time. Don't get me wrong, Stiles could be immature at time too but she brought out the worst in him. I don't dislike Malia. I actually like her as a character but not as Stiles's girlfriend. Plus this biggest reason I dislike this ship? It took longer for Stydia to finally happen. Let's not forget how she practically walked all over him.
9) Favorite Part/Moment: Lydia tells Stiles she loves him too.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Reason: Stiles had been taken by the Ghost Riders and everyone forgot who he was but before he was taken he told Lydia "Remember I love you." But she never got the chance to say it back before he and her memories of him were ripped away. When he finally came back there was a touching scene where Lydia said "I never got to say it back." And the two of them shared their first real kiss (not counting the kiss she gave him to stop a panic attack in a previous season). This was one of those moments that was several years long overdue and for us Stydia fans, we rejoiced when they finally got their shit together and actually became a couple. Praise!
10) Least Favorite Part/Moment: Allison is killed by the Oni
Tumblr media
Reason: Allison Argent was a character you could sometimes love and hate at the same time. When they battled the Nogitsune and she sacrificed herself to the Oni to save Isasc, I sobbed like a baby. It was a way for the writers to write off the actress's character but one of the most heartbreaking scenes in the entire series. It is my least favorite because Allison died. It was a beautiful farewell as she died in the arms of her first love (Scott) but I can't even think about it without sobbing.
Thank you for sticking with me. Until tomorrow! ❤

 ”Free spirits, free spirits Can you hear me calling? Oh, it's all or nothing When you're free spirits, free spirits Can you hear it calling? 'Cause I don't wanna live no normal life, let go
 Is this Heaven or Armageddon? Are we gettin' high, we could've watched the ending We were trodding down our memories A cemetery full of bottles that are incomplete When you're loving more, caring less It's the highs and lows with no clears And we wanted it all then But we're never runnin' out, we'll be
 Free spirits, free spirits...“

April 02, 2015   Peter and May Parker were a small family unit, just two of them. It had been them against the world ever since Ben had died. However, he knew that May struggled to make ends meet, Peter wasn't stupid. In fact, Peter Parker was quite the genius. Although, that could be debated since he didn't see this coming, not even a little bit.   May Parker started dating.   He supposed he couldn't blame her, because everyone needed a companion and she was perhaps lonely. Also, ever since Ben had died, the burden of the bills and mortgage on the house had fallen on her. She’d been unable to make the payments, which is why they was now living at this apartment, since they’d lost Ben’s parents house.
So, he could understand that she needed help, and the worst part was that Christopher seemed like a real upstanding guy. He had a doctorate and after working for a big corporation was starting up his own medical tech company. He also knew how to cook and was able to get Peter's breathing machine for a cheaper price they could afford.   Peter hated having asthma the most, especially since it was hard on him when the elevator broke in their building and he was forced to walk up the stairs. That's what he was doing now, climbing up the stairs as he huffed and puffed, and by the time he made it to their floor, he'd ran out of breath.   The teenager leaned against the wall by the door for a few moments, feeling his face heat up as the twin brother and sister from down the hall passed by and eyed him with disgust. Peter knew he was grossly out of shape when a few flights of steps had him winded, but when his lungs were weak, he couldn't really exercise.   Peter straightened when the two had passed him, having dropped his head as soon as Riley and Hailey (the twins) had spotted him, having felt his face heat up in embarrassment when they’d seen him struggling to breathe. He'd already recovered after a few moments, but had waited until they had entered the stairwell. Now, he shifted his backpack back onto his shoulders, taking out his house keys and entering his apartment. When he got there, he saw that the usual clutter around the house had been cleaned up, his few LEGO sculptures they’d been able to afford (cheap ones with less than a hundred pieces) had been moved to a small work table in the corner, out of the way.
He tried not to let it bug him, since it had been on the floor before and anyone could step on a loose piece of his latest project. It was not fun to step on a LEGO, and Peter should know from personal experience. So, he supposed it was a good thing that Christopher had moved his structures onto a small table and off the floor.
The teenager huffed as he kicked his tennis shoes off at the door, not in the best of moods due to the elevator being out, and then the twins (who were both so pretty) giving him those looks. He hated his asthma, so much and wished to just be rid of it, or his stupid weak lungs, and his stupid allergies. Peter Parker just wanted to leave his whole stupid, weak body behind.
Peter fumbled for his inhaler as he started to get worked up, taking an inhale and feeling as his airways opened up. He waited a moment before he straightened and tossed his bag against the work table, cursing when one of the structures was knocked on its side. The teen moved over to fix it, hoping none of the pieces had been knocked off. It was the car he’d built from the Bricks On A Roll bucket, which had many wheels and the ability to make different structures. He’d done the red car on the front, a motorcycle, and the ice cream cart as well. He wasn’t sure if his was missing pieces, but it didn’t have the big ice cream cone piece as shown on the pack. Well, judging by how shitty his luck was, it was likely that his was the only one without it.
As he moved away, he failed to realize one of the wheels was missing from the red car, and hissed as he stepped on it. He stumbled back, tripped on his backpack and fell, hitting his head on the work table.
‘Whoa!’ Peter exclaimed as he moved his hands over himself, trying to see if he’d broken something. His head felt fine, in fact, he felt great! The constant pressure he always felt on his airway wasn’t present, and wondered if the fall had somehow miraculously cured him. Maybe, it was possible.
He turned around and froze. Peter should’ve known that his shitty Parker Luck would kick in. Because miracles didn’t happen to Peter Parker.
There in front of him, was his body on the floor with blood on his forehead where it’d struck the work table. He was looking at his body from the outside, so... did this meant he was dead?
‘Aww, come on!’ Peter cried out.
- ~ - ~ - ~ - ~
Peter hummed as he tried to figure this out, because as far as he could tell, he wasn’t dead. It didn’t help that he was currently floating over his body like a damn ghost. However, he could tell that his body was still breathing, if the way his chest was moving up and down was any indication.
So, not dead.
If that was true, then what was happening right now?
His thought process was cut off as he heard the key in the lock, and glanced at it. His eyes widened as he saw his aunt come through the door and glanced back at his body, and knew this was going to be bad. Peter winced as she screamed and rushed to his side.
“Peter?! Oh baby, wake up!” May sobbed, hands going to his forehead and flinching away from the blood there. She fumbled for her cell phone, her hands shaking so badly that she was barely able to dial 911.
‘May, I’m right here. I’m alright,’ Peter tried to tell her, floating over to her, but when he tried to touch her, his hand passed though her. He gasped and flinched back as if burned, looking at his hand and then at his body as May caressed his face ever so gently. If he could cry, he would, but as he was now, he only felt panic and terror, and a sorrow so profound that he curled up from how intense it felt.
He didn’t understand what was happening to him. Peter just wanted to be wrapped in his aunt’s warm embrace. He wanted all this to be over. Then, without knowing how, he slept and then he felt like he was falling; falling so very fast.
- ~ - ~ - ~ - ~
Peter’s eyes snapped open and he gasped in a breath, hand going to his throat and he couldn’t breathe! He heard a scraping sound and then a hand on his and he flinched away.
“Peter, you’re fine! Look at me, baby. It’s May,” a familiar voice said. His eyes snapped toward her, and immediately slumped down in relief when he realized it was his Aunt May. She pulled his hand gently away from his throat, fingers soothing away the scratch marks he’d made on himself in his frantic struggle.
“Wha-?” Peter tried to speak, felt a catch in his throat and coughed harshly. The mask over his face fogged up, but he had enough experience with his asthma to know he needed it so didn’t remove it. Peter dreaded to think of how many hours she was missing of work, since his Medicaid would pay for his hospital bills. It was just that it didn’t always pay for all his medicines, and May ended up paying some of it out of pocket. “M’sorry,” he whimpered, hating to be such a burden to her.
May smiled wanly, brushing back a few curls from his face. “It’s alright, baby. We’ll make it somehow. Besides, Chris will help us, you’ll see.”
Peter tried not to let his mood sour at the mention of the man, and instead gave a nod, glad the mask covered most of his face. He might not like the man, but he helped the burden on May. Besides, she was happy with him, and that’s all that mattered.
As he settled back on the bed, feeling his eyes grow heavy, a memory of floating over his body came to him.
‘Huh, that was some dream’, Peter thought.
Although, he couldn’t shake the feeling that it had felt so real.

 April 04, 2015
Peter sighed as he came into the apartment, his whole body feeling lethargic and heavy. He wanted to just get in bed and sleep, but he had been sleeping for two days already and he was tired of it. The teenager had thought they could spend some time together; just his aunt and himself.
“Get the door, May,” Christopher called, and the woman pulled open the door as the man entered carrying Peter’s bag and several bags of groceries in the other. They’d stopped to buy them on the way home, where Peter had been forced to stay in the car since he was still on oxygen and it would have been a hassle to carry the small tank inside the supermarket. So, Peter had stayed in the car and tried not to feel too bitter about it.
Now, it seemed like they wouldn’t have some time alone either, seeing as Chris started to help May unpack the groceries. Peter pulled off the mask, sick and tired of having to cart around the small oxygen tank. Besides, he needed to make sure not to use it all up before the end of the month, which still had two weeks left. “I can... help,” Peter said, wanting to feel useful.
“I got it, bud,” Christopher said as he grabbed up the bags Peter tried to get to help with. “Why don’t you go take a shower and I’ll come set up your nighttime treatment.”
Peter grimaced at that, since he didn’t want to have his nighttime treatment when it was barely 7:30 pm. He was not going to bed that early, no matter what anyone said. “It’s early still,” he argued, coughing a moment later.
God, he hated having these weak lungs.
“That decides it,” Chris said, motioning toward the bathroom. Peter might have been acting childish or immature, but he hated that the man acted like he had any right to order him around, like he was his uncle or his dad. He wasn’t.
“Alright, how about we watch a movie?” May said, stepping between the sullen teenager and her boyfriend. “Peter, you go take a shower while I make the popcorn and Chris sets up the movie. It can be a cheesy horror movie, like Sharknado.”
Peter nodded with a grin, his bad mood quickly vanishing. “You know, Sharknado isn’t too bad, as long as you don’t take it too seriously,” he said, rushing off. He wanted to hurry in taking his shower so he could get back and maybe sit next to May on the loveseat, their usual spot when watching movies before.
He considered it a win when he was able to plop onto the loveseat when coming back from his shower. May pulled him closer for a cuddle instead of telling him to let Chris have his seat. The teenager settled to watch the bad movie, sharing a bowl of popcorn with his aunt.
The movie was bad but entertaining, and he snuggled against his aunt as they watched. This was nice.
He didn’t even realize he’d fallen asleep, until he was suddenly looking down at himself. It seemed May hadn’t realized he’d fallen asleep either, until Chris pointed it out.
“Should I put him to bed?” the man asked May. Peter didn’t like the idea of being carried like a child by the man, and hoped May let him stay right there.
“Yes, that’s probably best,” she told him. Peter frowned as he watched the man lift him up like he weighed nothing, and since he couldn’t do sports to gain any muscle, he probably did weigh nothing.
Peter grumbled as he floated out of the man’s way, starting to get the hang of moving around. He wasn’t paying attention and realized too late that he was going to hit the wall, and his arms lifted to protect his head. Peter cried out instinctively, but he didn’t hit it... he went through the wall.
 ‘Holy shit!’
He flapped his arms around as he was suddenly in the hallway, and then passed through so he was in the apartment next door, where a young couple and their one year old daughter lived. They were gathered around the table, playing some board game as the little girl giggled. “Ally won!” the little girl cried. The man and woman cheered, lifting her up as she squealed happily.
“And now it’s time to get ready for bed,”  the woman declared.
Peter moved on when he was able to get the hang of moving through the air, glancing back a moment and thought he saw the little girl waving at him, but then he’d gone through the wall of the apartment next to them. He realized too late that it was the twin’s apartment, and he was suddenly in a bedroom.
There were posters of One Direction and other bands he wasn’t familiar with. He turned around as he heard a rustling and he squeaked when he saw that it was Hailey, the girl of the duo, and she was starting to change after having clearly taken a shower judging by the towel she started to pull off.
‘I’m so sorry!’ he cried even if she couldn’t seem to see or hear Peter, one hand lifting up to cover his eyes as he used that other to rush through the wall. He was in the hallway a moment before he passed through the opposite wall into the room there. That room turned out to be the bathroom, which was being used.
A head popped out of the shower, hair wet with water and Peter was dismayed to realize it was Riley, the male twin. And he was in the shower, naked and wet! “Hailey! You finished all the hot water, you asshole!”
“Deal with it!” Hailey’s muffled voice yelled back.
Riley grumbled about annoying sisters and his head disappeared back inside the shower. Peter figured it was a good idea to leave now, before he invaded Riley’s privacy like some pervert. Maybe it was time to go back to his own apartment. Besides, he felt a bit... sick? Which was strange, since he usually didn’t feel anything besides emotions. Then again, this was just a dream. Wasn’t it?
He found his body in the bed, mask for his nighttime treatment strapped to his face and he felt even sicker now. It was probably that he hated the feel of the medicine and that’s why he felt sick? Maybe next time he went exploring he’d leave the building, even if it felt scary. There was a fuzzy quality to everything, like everything was being seen through a filter, or perhaps a cloud. Also, everything not in his immediate area faded away into darkness. Almost like it ceased to exist.
For now, he floated over to his body as he closed his eyes. After feeling a sensation like falling and falling, everything went dark.
- ~ - ~ - ~ - ~
Peter moaned as he woke up, the taste of the medicine in his mouth, coating his throat and it was in his nose. He yanked the mask off his face, wincing since his face felt tender from where the straps had been digging into his skin. Peter felt shaky when he stood, feeling like gravity was weighing even heavier than usual on his body. He barely made it to the bathroom before he was heaving, throwing up the popcorn he’d had earlier. The teenager wasn’t even sure what time it was, but since his aunt didn’t come running to see what the matter was, she must have gone to work.
“Peter, is that you, bud?” he heard Christopher ask, realizing that May must have left him watching over him while she left for her shift. There was a light knock on the bathroom door. “Do you need help?”
He was feeling like crap and even if he knew it wasn’t the man’s fault, he didn’t want his help. “No, go away,” he croaked, his body heaving again but he’d already thrown up the little bit he’d eaten, so it was mostly stomach bile.
The door opened as he was washing out his mouth, and he would have scoffed at the man not listening to him if he’d had any strength left. His medicine had never caused him to get sick like this before, so he wasn’t in the best of moods.
“Come on, let’s get you back to bed,” Chris said, voice almost gentle. He didn’t know why he didn’t like the man, but he... just couldn’t like him. There was something about him that Peter couldn’t put his finger on that made him dislike him. Maybe he was being unfair or childish, but he couldn’t help it.
“I’m fine,” he grumbled, shrugging off his hand as he shuffled back to bed. He climbed back into his twin bed, the mattress already old and a bit too small. Peter just refused to ask for another, since it wasn’t a necessity. He was fine with this for now, and didn’t want to burden May asking for another, bigger bed.
“Maybe I should give you another treatment,” Chris said, glancing at the nighttime machine.
Peter grimaced at the thought of feeling the medicine coating his throat, mouth and inside his nose again and his stomach protested it. “No,” he said as he shook his head, “I’m fine.” Peter knew he wouldn’t get away with not having the treatment again tomorrow night, but at least for tonight, he wanted to be free of it.
Chris hesitated, before he nodded. “Until tomorrow then,” he said, that smile on his face he hated so much. Peter didn’t understand why he hated it, hated Christopher. Maybe he should give him a chance? After all, he’s the reason they had gotten this newer machine practically for free.
“Yeah... thanks, Chris,” he muttered, pulling his blankets up to his chin.
The man paused as he’d been about to leave and after a moment he turned with a smile. “It’s no problem. I want to help you and your aunt.” He pulled the door closed. “Sweet dreams, Peter.”
Peter’s room was plunged into darkness and he curled up under the blanket. He closed his eyes and hoped he was able to fly away again in his dreams. It was nice being able to get away from his weak body and the problems that brought him and his aunt.
So, he flew away in his dreams, that felt more real than they should be.-

P. Hale | Teen Wolf
Muse Name: Peter Michaelis Hale
Other Names: N/A
Face Claim: Ian Bohen
Fandom: Teen Wolf
Age: 42
Birthday: October 27th
Species: Born Werewolf
Sexual Preference: Bisexual
Family: Tali Hale [sister, deceased], Derek Hale [nephew], Cora Hale [niece], Laura Hale [niece, deceased], Malia Hale [daughter]
Abilities:  Shapeshifting [charcoal grey wolf], enhanced healing, reflexes and senses, pain transference, memory transference
History: Peter was born roughly ten years after his well beloved sister, Talia. There was a time when Peter thought perhaps there were other siblings between himself and his eldest sister, but the names and the like have since left him in the years since the fire. From a young age, he was often left out of the many activities despite his strength. A fast learner when it came to battle strategy and hunting, his role of appearance as just a normal kid when around the townfolk was a slightly harder destination for him. The pack took to those who adapted to both much more easily; wanting to keep hunters off their scent if possible. Peter, for all his understanding of why he needed to act human, felt a rift beginning to form. In his free time, he would explore the woods, finding little places no one had found on the vast Hale property, including a few places he would use later on in his life. His favorite place was a little hidden waterfall. It wasn’t vast or even very tall in comparison to others he had seen in pictures and books, but it was calm and peaceful and there was a fair amount of lush green to hide not only his scent but the very location of the fall. It became his biggest comfort when things went awry.
His father wasn’t kind by any stretch of the word. In fact, more often than not, the man’s frustrations with the other children, the “good kids”, would be unleashed on Peter as a stand in. Peter just took it, knowing no one in the pack would believe him anyway. They had done their best to shun him since he had learned a sense of control over his inner wolf that was uncanny because he wasn’t evolved, which was a hard trait in and of itself to receive. He spent many nights laying in his bathroom as wounds healed so he could clean without anyone’s notice. After a few years, Peter had a few young nieces and nephews he would tend to from time to time, but mostly he kept to himself. He continued to explore, eventually finding an old shack looking place that he began to rebuild in secret, eventually making a little house with working lights and keeping a path to the fall open from the little area around his home. Once it was complete, he often spent nights there, hidden from his family and buried in a mound of books about everything from old rituals to forgotten languages.
Academically, Peter excelled. By the time he was graduating Middle school, he was a star athlete, being recruited into the Beacon Hills High School basketball program with hardly a blink. He was the master of five languages by the time he met one Chris Argent; a young teen that Peter felt an instant connection to, drawn to the other male like a moth to flame. He found a good friend in Chris, someone who understood him and cared even when no one else did. Peter didn’t dare let anyone see he had a friend, let alone that he was falling for a human - he was already a disgrace in the family for his strange balance between human and wolf. So whenever they wanted to study, they would meet at a park or something of the sort. Eventually Peter showed Chris his little cabin, letting the other teen stay over, content to have Chris’ scent linger in a space only the two of them had. However, that content feeling began to vanish after a while, both human and wolf wanting more with Chris than just friends. With unsure reluctance, Peter found a way to tell Chris, stunned to find the other felt the same. The two knew it was something no one could ever know about, with Chris’ family being hunters and Peter’s family, although not violent or harmful, being werewolves.
Keeping their relationship hidden wasn’t hard; the pack Peter belonged to often didn’t realize he was gone as long as he was there for meals and Chris’ family wasn’t really talked about. Peter never pressed about them, knowing he really didn’t know anything about his family anymore aide from the fact that Talia was now alpha, and that he had more nephews and nieces around. Living separated from their respective worlds became a safe haven for Peter. Forgetting about the expectations of his pack, such as his supposedly new role as pack enforcer, gave Peter a kind of peace. He wanted to keep people safe, but not a t the cost of his own will should his alpha command it. He fell further for the younger male than he could have expected, not thinking that anyone could ever find out or even suspect how close he and Chris truly were. At least until he was ambushed after a practice and taken somewhere secluded, where he finally met the patriarch, Gerard. The meeting wasn’t warm, in fact, it was to give Peter one chance to keep Chris alive. He could leave and Chris’ life would be spared, or he could continue to see the young hunter and watch as Gerard himself cut the boy in two before he burned the entire pack. Fear for his mate took over, and Peter was petrified of watching Chris die in any way, let alone at the hands of his own father, so agreed to leave. He was young and stupid, and his worry for Chris kept him from realizing he could ask Chris to leave with him, cut all ties to both their families and just stay together. Leaving led him to the mountains for a while, where his balance wavered between which had more influence. When he returned, his oldest nephew had a human interest, and Peter longed to keep the pain he’d felt at losing Chris from happening to Derek, so he helped set up a way to make it happen, but it didn’t work, and in the end, Peter began trusting his wolf side more. And then Kate showed back up. Peter knew the scent, could see what was happening. Gerard wasn’t going to follow through with the entire agreement.
He immediately went to Talia, trying to explain what was going to happen without revealing his bond to Chris, but to no avail. Much like his childhood, he was merely a pawn under his sister. And when the fire occurred, the screams and smell of burning flesh surrounding him, Peter felt a sense of betrayal and sought to get out first before coming back for others. He managed to find a way out, but was trapped under a collapsing beam and although dragged out and kept alive, his body fell into a coma. The inner wolf had control, working to heal the burns so severe Peter should have died. Trapped, Peter was unable to do anything as what was left of his pack disbanded, disappearing until the only visits he got were from doctors and nurses to check his vitals and how well the burns were healing. Left to the silence of his own mind, the human side of Peter was lost more and more with each passing day until at last the wolf had full and unrestricted access to everything Peter was. And the results were not going to be pretty. Quite literally out of his mind, Peter began searching for a way to boost what little healing was left. He ended up killing his niece, Laura, who was also the pack alpha. The strength was such a surge that the side in control lost it’s grip and Peter ended up a cold, almost heartless monster. He killed anyone responsible that he could find, regardless of how close they were to the start of or the cover up of the blaze.
When the Argents returned to town, the monster Peter had become was aware time was almost up, and it was ready for the final battle. It found its way into having a pack; turning a young teen named Scott in the process [and entirely unaware of what was to become of his first beta]. He took away the will and had no problem shedding blood of all kinds. But a line was crossed when Derek went missing and Kate’s scent was everywhere. The bitch had finally returned. And now it was time to complete the circle of vendetta. Kate would be the last one of those involved and her blood would be what he enjoyed the most in taking. His move to kill the renegade met him face to face with Allison - who wore the Argent family crest around her neck and was coated in a scent Peter knew all too well…Chris. Unable to bring himself to kill the girl, he had every intention of letting her go and escaping, but was stopped, ultimately dying at his nephew’s hand. Good thing a backup plan was already in motion.
Peter had bitten Lydia on purpose, knowing full well what she was before she did and awakening the abilities. Using her, he cast a spell that brought him back and he moved to take a place in the pack his nephew had begun to make, only to watch it scatter all over again. That summer was spent searching mindlessly for Erica and Boyd along Isaac and Derek, and Peter grew restless, concerned that they couldn’t pick up the scent. Finding out why led to yet another war having been drawn in. The alpha pack wanted two of the rarest alphas, and Peter felt some pride in helping make Scott what he was. But it began to come to a head when Jennifer Blake manipulated his nephew to get what she wanted and nothing else. That kind of treatment left that gaping hole from the loss of his family seethe, and Peter made sure to rake his claws through Jennifer’s neck where Deucalion had already sliced through the woman.
Now, long after the deadpool, Kate’s coming back with berserkers at her bidding and Peter’s using her to try and get the power back he knew he could control, Peter has escaped the end result of Eichen House and has reclaimed the power of alpha from a rogue named Ashelina, who was out to gut everyone in Beacon Hills one ata time until she had the town on its knees for her. Having met Peter first, the she-wolf didn’t last long and was found torn up by authorities.

DEATH BATTLE Review: Ghost Rider vs. Lobo
Two badass bikers have one hell of a fight!
Ghost Rider′s Preview.
If one were to take a look at Johnny Blaze, you wouldn’t really expect much out of the son of a famous stuntman who had died in a stunt gone wrong. But, you’d be surprised. Johnny’s new dad, Crash Simpson, got cancer.
Tumblr media
So Johnny turned to the one man who could fix the problem: The Devil.
Tumblr media
It worked… Until Crash crashed.
From that day forward, Johnny became merged with Zarathos. A being of power that scared Mephisto. And together, they became: Ghost Rider.
Tumblr media
Ghost Rider possesses your typical powerset for a bounty hunter for the devil. From your typical Superhuman strength and speed, with a side of insane durability and an extra large healing factor.
Tumblr media
And to top it all off, Ghost Rider’s signature weapon of choice is fire. But not just any kind of fire. Hellfire (Insert Hunchback of Notre Dame reference here).
Tumblr media
Hellfire burns, but not in the conventional way you might think. Hellfire burns away at the soul, bypassing any defenses that would normally protect against typical burn damage. It’s like Salazzle’s Corrosion ability, only with fire.
Tumblr media
But, if you’re going to be on the hunt for bad guys to make them pay for their sins, you’re going to need a toolset to match. From your typical hellish chains to soul manipulaton, Ghost Rider is one hell of a guy to fight…
Real talk: Lowkey disappointed that there weren’t more hell puns like this in the episode proper.
But if there’s anything that Ghost Rider is known for, it would be his Hell Cycle. Which we get a Wiz and Boomstick animation for the explanation.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Moving on, Ghost Rider’s other signature move is his Penance Stare. A Bloodcurdling gaze that burns the victims with the agony of their sins. Every life they’ve ruined, every person they’ve killed, all of it comes hitting you at once. Basically, it’s the “I’m not mad, just disappointed” phrase weaponized to the point that it burns. If you’re a truly sinful being, your soul goes bye bye. It’s like the Dark Hado, only with a less complicated button input.
And since the hosts neglected to mention it here (or even in the list of feats (Though, it is shown)), this stare once brought Galactus to his knees. Here’s the video link.
Tumblr media
With all that power, Ghost Rider has taken on some insane opponents.
Tumblr media
From the likes of Thor, to World War Hulk, to Doctor Strange, Ghost Rider has taken on a great slew of opponents, both good and bad.
Tumblr media
However, Johnny doesn’t exactly have the best relationship with the Ghost Rider.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In fact, Johnny’s relationship with Ghost Rider is similar to Bruce Banner’s relation to the Hulk. Johnny suppresses Ghost Rider’s full potential, and the two often clash.
Also, since I forgot to bring it up earlier, The Penance Stare doesn’t work on the blind, those without a soul, those who draw power from pain, or masochists.
However, plot twist, Zarathos is actually an angel of vengeance, not a demon.
Tumblr media
And similar to the Hulk, when Johnny opts to let the reigns loose, Zarathos. becomes so powerful, that he scares Doctor Strange.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For reference to Zarathos’ power, he’s equal to the divorce judge Mephisto, who in turn, once battle Galactus. The fight was so intense, that the entire universe was at risk as a byproduct of the battle.
Tumblr media
Zarathos himself can eat souls. As for Johnny himself, the guy is still a mortal man, so he’s vulnerable to any kind of conventionally lethal attack. The Rider himself is vulnerable to holy weaponry, and is killable through it.
And even if he’s not too keen on being the Devil’s bounty hunter, Johnny’s doing alright. He even overthrew Mephisto… Does this mean that Peter and MJ’s divorce is null now?- I’m pretty sure that it’s null on the grounds of it being filed under duress, but still.
Tumblr media
However, should you be walking out on your own, hearing a feint sound of a chopper drawing near, and see a glow on the horizon getting closer, you better hope that it’s not you that the Ghost Rider is after.
And you better pray to whatever deity that you believe in for mercy.
Tumblr media
Because Ghost Rider won’t be giving it.
Lobo′s Preview.
It’s the 1990s, and the world of comics entered a darker age. After the success of such books like Watchmen and The Dark Knight Returns, comic book companies started to churn out gritty anti-heroes by the dozen.
Tumblr media
From the time-traveling mutant Cable, to the darker and grittier Azrael, and Overkill. It was an… interesting time, to say the least. They were certainly cool-looking, but at some point, it just got ridiculous, that the world needed someone to take these guys down a peg.
The world needed a hero- no. A parody.
Tumblr media
Enter: Czarnia. A planet that was known to be the most peaceful place in the universe… “Was” being the keyword there. The planet was. ravaged by a biological lifeform that left only one survivor: The guy who killed them all: Lobo.
Tumblr media
For the record, Lobo’s name roughly translates to “He who devours your entrails and enjoys it.”
Tumblr media
(So, he’s basically the NRA).
Lobo’s birth caused so much destruction, that pretty much everyone around him died out. Hell, some theorists think that the universe made Lobo just to balance out the peacefulness of Czarnia.
Tumblr media
Lobo strives to be unique, and what better way to be unique than to be the last of your kind?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lobo has left destruction in his wake. Which is possibly why he became a bounty hunter, as it’s the only profession that legally lets you kill people… Not that it stops him from killing you illegally as well.
Lobo is so insanely durable, that his healing factor is stupidly powerful. And his strength is off the charts. He’s like the unholy child of Superman and Deadpool. Speaking of which…
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oh, Taka… You never fail to make us laugh.
Anyways, not only can Lobo regenerate from a single drop of blood, he can also basically clone himself from it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
If you haven’t guessed by now, Lobo is stupidly hard to kill. He’s taken on the likes of Superman and other high-level fighters to the point that he’s basically  invulnerable. And if that’s not enough for you, he’s also pretty smart capable enough of doing complex equations to be able to tag the Flash.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lobo can even deduce the weak points of any opponent he faces.
Of course, you don’t get to be an infamous bounty hunter unless you have the tools for the job.
Tumblr media
Lobo’s ride responds to his whistle, can fly fast enough to escape a black hole, comes equipped with numerous machine guns, and has numerous other add-ons to boot.
And he has numerous firearms to deal with anyone who gets in his way. Even better: He’s also a fan of chain weapons.
Tumblr media
Lobo also likes to ignore some things too. Like how he can sing “Born To Be Wild” while in the vacuum of space.
Tumblr media
If that’s not physics-breaking enough for you, Lobo also once did this:
Tumblr media
He pulled down Solaris despite it being physically impossible. Not, physically like his physique is inadequate, more like… It breaks physics. Meybe he and the Flash can bond over that.
Tumblr media
For reference, this is how much strength Lobo would be exerting to pull Solaris down, assuming that Solaris has a mass similar to our sun.
Lobo also once crushed an entire city to fit in the palm of his hand. And then he ate it. There’s not a laxative in the world that can make that easy to digest.
Tumblr media
And thanks to his rambunctious attitude, and constant heavy metal playing, Lobo has been banned from the afterlife. As in, his soul is not to be collected by death. Once the universe ends, he doesn’t go with it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lobo has a bomb that wiped out the dinosaurs, allegedly murdered Santa Claus (Who could bypass Apoklips’ defenses to give Darkseid a lump of coal), and has even walked through literal willpower.
However, despite his many claims, Lobo isn’t perfect. He can still take damage, and while his spirit can fight on without his body, he’s not exactly invincible.
Tumblr media
He also has a… fondness for dolphins… Apparently. But, he’s also a man of his word, and will follow things to the spirit too. So, he’s basically the exact opposite of the NRA.
And unlike guys like Doctor Fate, the Green Lanterns, and Darkseid, Lobo isn’t immune to retcons.
Tumblr media
This new Lobo is a dark and tortured soul. Literally the thing that the real Lobo was meant to be a parody of.
Thankfully, some of the writers at DC had a sense of irony, and decided to shelve the new Lobo… Literally.
Tumblr media
And with all that, Lobo is one fighter that you don’t want to mess with. Because when the Main Man gets a contract…
Tumblr media
The Battle Itself.
Zack, Luis, and Jerky are heading this animation. Ghost Rider will be voiced by Steven Kelly and Lobo will be voiced by Jason Marnocha. ), sprite artists, Ride to Hell by Brandon Yates. Audio is led by Chris Kokkinos.
The fight starts off with Lobo collecting a bounty, only for the Spirit of Vengeance to show up and give Lobo what’s coming to him.
Tumblr media
Lobo, being Lobo, doesn’t take too kindly to someone telling him what to do, so he just runs over the Hell Cycle to get away.
Tumblr media
Ghost Rider, understandably mad as hell, gives chase, and even fries Lobo’s bounty while doing it. So now even the Main Man is mad too.
Tumblr media
After a brief battle of chains, Lobo does a Scorpion impression and grabs Ghost Rider to give him one hell of a headbutt.
Tumblr media
But Blaze doesn’t take this lying down, so the battle gets forced to a city… Hopefully abandoned.
Tumblr media
And now it’s Ghost Rider’s turn to do a Scorpion impression as he uses his hellfire to give Lobo a nasty Burn.
Tumblr media
This being Lobo, he powers through it to get to Ghost Rider to eat a building.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This being Ghost Rider, the Spirit of Vengeance bursts out, spilling blood everywhere. But, this is Lobo.
Tumblr media
Or rather, Lobos (Note the plural). They dogpile on the burning skull head, forcing Ghost Rider to unleash Zarathos.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lobo, pretty miffed at the moment, blasts Ghost Rider with a massive gun.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So, with the battlefield fragged, the finishing blow (Yes, this wasn’t the finishing blow) is coming up in 5…
4…
3…
2…
1…
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hot damn…
Verdict + Explanation.
Okay, so… This being Lobo, it was a pretty intense fight. Lobo doesn’t die easily. And Lobo also takes many of the physical advantages, like strength. But Ghost Rider wasn’t a slouch in this area either.
Tumblr media
Given the insane durability and amount of pain that each fighter could take and dish out, it was hard to say for sure as to who would win out. But, Lobo doesn’t have any specific weaknesses that are obscure, and he wasn’t equipped to have anything to really kill Ghost Rider.
Tumblr media
Now, you might be thinking “Who cares about Holy Weapons when you can crush and eat a whole city?” While that’s a good question, and it’s also a good question to ask if Lobo could just overpower Johnny.
However, Remember: Zarathos = Mephisto, and Mephisto = Galactus. Given that the fight between Mephisto and Galactus put the whole universe at risk, it’s reasonable to say that Zarathos could do the same.
Tumblr media
Now, given Lobo’s own speed, he couldn’t really run from the Ghost Rider either. Recall that the Hell Cycle could outrace Mjolnir, and Mjolnir could move over 100 Billion times the speed of light. So, even if Lobo could figure out Ghost Rider’s weaknesses, he can’t exactly get away to find a holy weapon to work with.
Tumblr media
Essentially, Lobo could handle the Ghost Rider, but once Zarathos was unleashed, his means of victory started diminishing fast.
But now, for the big elephant in the room: How do you kill a person who’s banned from the afterlife?
Well, this is where you need a lawyer, because there’s a small little loophole that Ghost Rider can exploit:
Tumblr media
Lobo’s soul can only not be collected, there’s nothing saying that his soul can just go poof. And Ghost Rider has three ways of just ending Lobo’s soul.
His hellfire bypasses normal defenses, his Penance Stare can deal damage to Lobo since he’s got trillions of dead people on his hands, and Zarathos could just straight-up eat his soul. Lobo has no defenses against attacks that target the soul.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Essentially, Lobo was toast.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The winner is Ghost Rider.
Overall impression.
This fight was cosmic. In essence, it takes some of the most intense fighters and pits them against each other. This fight has a lot of hype behind it, and it’s one
hell
of a fight.
However, the lack of “Hell” puns during Ghost Rider’s rundown is somewhat disappointing. But the fight is awesome. It also helps that the music is intense in the good way that it makes it really feel like a battle straight out of hell.
The fight’s awesome, the explanation makes sense, and the music is a banger.
8.666/10
Next Time…

Weekend Top Ten #373
Top Ten Thoughts on Avengers: Endgame
Spoilers ahoy!
It’s the end of an era as Avengers: Endgame is finally upon us. As I write this, I’m less than 24 hours out of the cinema and it’s still all percolating within my brain. This Top Ten, then, will be an almost stream-of-consciousness outpouring of my joy, sadness, and occasional twinge of disappointment at what is unquestionably a phenomenal end to the Infinity Saga, a satisfying sequel to Infinity War, and a whole lot of fan-service.
Like I said: SPOILERS AHOY.
“Five Years Later”: it was a long film. Three hours long. but crucially, it does not feel three hours. It feels big, weighty, epic, but it does not feel long. to say it’s considerably longer than the previous Avengers movies, it just flies by. In this way, it’s similar to the Lord of the Rings movies; breadth and depth but still a lot of pace.
“Move on”: the five-year time-jump was a little bit of a surprise (I didn’t think it would be quite that long), but it helped sell a universe torn apart by the aftermath of The Snap. What I was not expecting was for them to live with it. Okay, so the departed people came back, but won’t that cause its own problems? This is not the world we entered in 2008 when Tony Stark was blown up in the desert; it’s not even the world we left in 2012 after a stunted alien invasion of New York. Some people will have tried to move on, perhaps forging new relationships, just to find their old lovers returned. Younger siblings will suddenly become older siblings. People will have lost jobs and houses. It’s rather fortunate that, from the looks of things, Peter Parker’s entire class was snapped out of existence and then returned, otherwise he’d be a lot younger than his co-stars in Far From Home. Anyway, not just undoing the time-jump was a brave decision and sets the stage for some potentially interesting stories going forward.
“It has to be me”: I went in expecting deaths, and I was surprised. I was expecting a bloodbath, and it was actually relatively muted. I was surprised that Vision didn’t get resurrected, less surprised that Gamora (sort of) did, astounded that Nebula survived, and blindsided by Black Widow. I don’t think it’s just because she’s got her own movie out next year, but I honestly thought Black Widow would become the lynchpin of a post-Captain America Avengers team. Hey, who knows? Maybe she will…
“I really tried to bring her back”: this is actually my mum’s theory (she’s a big Avengers fan), but what if Bruce was successful? When he snapped his fingers, he wanted to resurrect Natasha, but claims he was unsuccessful. What if he’s wrong, and she is back, somehow? Perhaps compromised, perhaps changed? Maybe her solo film will be about bringing her back to the light.
“I knew it!”: I was practically crying with giddy joy when Cap lifted Mjolnir. The fact that Thor had expected it, and was actually pleased by it, was just delightful. But Cap’s fight with Thanos, armed with both his shield and Thor’s hammer, was just a fantastic piece of fan-servicing fantasy cinema. I kinda wished they’d gone whole hog and given him his own Iron Man armour to boot.
“Your majesty”: Thor’s development in this film was interesting, as he was almost used as comic relief. His depression made total sense given not only that he blamed himself for not stopping Thanos in time, but also the scale of the loss he’d suffered prior to, and during, Infinity War. All the same, it was a bit of shame to see the character he’d developed in Ragnarok rolled back a little bit, even if it does set him up for some nice solo adventures down the line (perhaps he’ll feature in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and I really hope Taika Waititi gets to make another Thor solo movie too). But considering how Loki stole the show in the first Thor and Avengers movies, and how The Dark World and Age of Ultron were a little disappointing (in different ways) in regard to the God of Thunder, the strength of Thor’s story arc and what’s being asked of Chris Hemsworth in the role is a huge improvement and bodes well for the future.
“I am Iron Man”: if I’d put money down, I’d have said Cap dies for-real in the film, but Tony gets his own stand-alone Logan-esque swansong. That was not to be; Cap survives, sorta, and Tony really does make the sacrifice play and die saving the world. Whilst I’m disappointed he didn’t get to say goodbye on his own terms, as far as last stands go, that was phenomenal. A great call-back to one of the most famous moments in the MCU, a brilliant use of his OP armour’s capabilities, and just a really cool image. Totally Tony, totally Avengers, totally the end. Sob.
“You gonna tell me about her?” Steve Rogers totally deserved his happy ending, and if he hadn’t somehow ended up with Peggy Carter, then I’d have been a little bit disappointed. But I just don’t buy that Captain America would choose to retire. Did he get stuck in the past? Did he decide to fight crime in the 40s and 50s? And if so, did he try to do anything about Bucky or Hydra? Or did he know that that future was his past and so, as Bruce and Nebula explained, he was powerless to change it? Regardless, the fact that what we saw in the film was, essentially, Cap quitting, it left a slightly sour taste in the mouth, even though him handing the shield to Sam was a triumphant passing of the torch. Oh, and one more thought on this topic: in the Russo brothers’ first film for Marvel (The Winter Soldier), Peggy says something about how Steve was even instrumental in introducing her to her husband (I paraphrase); I wonder if, even back then, the endgame (ho ho) for Cap was always going to be “go back in time and marry Peggy”?
“That really is America’s ass”: let’s not get too mired in the mud here, despite my “Cap don’t quit!” niggles. Because as big and epic and tragic as the film was, it was also hilarious. I really didn’t expect it to be quite as funny as it was (I’m not sure why, all the previous Avengers movies have been pretty funny). I was quite pleased at how much humour Captain America was given; his exasperated “I know, I know” when his younger self trotted out the “I can do this all day line” was another delight.
“Assemble”: just like Cap wielding Mjolnir, there’s a certain geeky thrill just to hear him say those words. But the army of Avengers emerging from Strange’s portals was a phenomenal sight to behold, and it’s really exciting to see where the MCU goes from here. Captain Marvel has essentially declared her domain to be space; likewise, Thor is off with the Guardians for the time being; Black Panther is busy being King of Wakanda; Iron Man and Black Widow are dead. So who do we have, the next time the Avengers need to Assemble? Sam Wilson’s Captain America; the Scarlet Witch; Spider-Man; And-Man and the Wasp; The Winter Soldier, maybe; I guess Doctor Strange; perhaps Valkyrie? And then save the big guns for when they’re needed? Anyway, it’s just fun speculating at this stage.
Okay, there we are, ten thoughts off the top of my head. It’s funny sometimes that a movie can be so bloody good but the thing that sticks is the niggles (like, where was Lady Sif at the end?! And I feel bad that they couldn’t find room for Paul Bettany just so he could get a lovely little pictorial send-off in the credits). It’s such an achievement, the likes of which I don’t think we’ve seen before and I wonder if we’ll see again. Just in the same way that Avengers united several heroes who’d (mostly) starred in their own movies, and we got to see them join up and interact in a way that cinema hadn’t shown before, Endgame gives us an epic series finale of a film, one that is dependent upon the 21 films that came before it and the hours and hours of character development devoted to its stars. Where do they go from here? Which heroes get their sequels, which new heroes do they recruit? Will we ever see more of Steve Rogers? Will a new generation – Squirrel Girl, Ms. Marvel, Ironheart – take centre stage? What will be the over-arching connective tissue that, in ten years’ time, leads to another epoch-shattering Avengers smackdown? And how – how, how, how – do they incorporate Deadpool, the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men?! I’ve no idea (well, I’ve got lots of ideas but they’re probably wrong) – but it’ll sure be fun finding out.
Oh, and there’s still no sign of Death’s Head.

Chapter 17 of Looking for a Place to Call Home
Typical warnings for this story. Thanks for reading. Unedited, will look at later.
                                                                                                                        ~ * ~
Derek wakes up hungry. He rubs at his eyes and then his stomach before he shifts to his haunches. Laura and Cora are both awake but Lydia and Erica are not.
Derek doesn’t think he was asleep for long at all, and he looks to Laura. She shakes her head, gesturing for him to remain silent.
When he tries to listen with his shifted hearing, to see if there are any threats outside of Lydia’s office, he realizes that he can’t. His ears won’t work.
The eclipse simulator must still be running. It feels very much like being back at Kate’s farm in New York: stay quiet so that the hunters might forget about you in their territorial pissing matches. Derek knew a good day from a bad one just by the wolfsbane Kate would use on her bullets.
Right now, he knows it’s a bad day even without the wolfsbane warning. His senses are limited and there is a threat close by.
Derek exams the room, hoping that he finds something usable as a weapon should it come to that. Aside from Lydia’s nameplate, there is nothing. There could be something in the drawers of the desk, but Laura told him not to move. An alpha’s orders still need to be obeyed even if the alpha can’t flash her eyes.
Lydia and Erica should wake up soon, but Derek doesn’t know why they’re asleep in the first place.
Ten minutes crawl by while he tries not to breathe too heavily or shift too much.
His ears pop suddenly, his hearing sharpening. Laura’s eyes glow red.
Lydia sits up with a scream so loud it feels like an arrow has lodged itself in his brain. Erica jerks awake with a gasp, and Cora howls in pain, hands clamped over her bleeding ears.
An answering howl sounds on the other side of the locked door. Derek recognizes it even though it’s been three years.
“Peter?”
Laura shakes her head, but she looks uncertain. “Peter died, remember?”
“Peter left before I did,” Derek reminds her. “I thought everyone was all still alive until I got here.”
“We were taken after the house was set on fire,” Cora says. “We knew Mom was dead because Laura became the alpha.”
“We assumed Dad and Peter had died too,” Laura adds, staring at the door.
“One of us should howl again,” Cora suggests. “If the wolf responds again, then we will know that it is Peter.”
“It is,” Lydia says. She makes eye contact with each of them. “The Sheriff’s Department found a badly burned man within a hundred yards of the still-burning house. No one knew of the Hales. No one knew who he was. And by the time he was brought back to the hospital, he was unrecognizable to even Sheriff Stilinski, who was possibly the only person in Beacon Hills that could have recognized him.”
“What makes you so sure that it’s our uncle?” Laura asks.
“Because he’s healed,” Lydia says as the door bursts inward with no warning. The werewolf is shifted, more beast than man, snout quivering as he breathes in the scents, teeth dripping saliva, claws swiping the air. He focuses on one of them, dropping to hands and feet to lunge forward.
Lydia screams as he charges at her.
                                                                                                                        ~ * ~
Stiles has two deputies flanking him, a shotgun in hand, and the bare information of a patient gone wrong, attacking others at the hospital.
It’s enough to have his blood pounding in his ears, fear and adrenaline bitter on his tongue.
With Sheriff Lahey dead and Haigh still in lock up, Parrish has seniority and is calling the shots as acting Sheriff. Because he’s also still on desk duty while his shooting of Kate Argent is under investigation, the two deputies sent to back up Stiles are the newbies, Kincaid and Ramirez.
The head of the hospital, a medium height man with close cropped hair and a full beard meets them at the entrance, his hand extended.
“Deputy Stilinski, I’m Dr. Geyer. I’m the chief medical officer here.”
Stiles ignores the outstretched hand. There isn’t time for niceties right now. Afterward, he will come back and personally shake the hands of every member on staff if he can do his job quickly and without casualties. “What can you tell me about the situation?”
“We’re in the process of evacuating as many patients as we can. The patient that s attacking the others was last seen heading toward the administration offices.”
“Was anyone there?”
“Lydia Martin was in her office last I knew. I haven’t been able to reach her.”
“What can you tell me about the attacker?”
“He’s a john doe patient. Came in three years ago with third and fourth degree burns over seventy percent of his body. We think he’s a supernatural of some kind since none of his extremities have needed amputation.”
“You don’t know what he is?”
Dr. Geyer shakes his head. “Common theory is werewolf since he’s healed to about fifty percent covered in third degree burns, but he hasn’t reacted to any full moons since his arrival.”
“Why do you think werewolf is the most likely candidate?”
Stiles does not want to deal with super strength and speed and whatever else werewolves have stashed in their supernatural bodies. He doesn’t like his odds of a shotgun against claws and teeth. Especially if the shot does nothing.
“Sometimes it takes years, but werewolves are the fastest natural healers in the supernatural world.” Dr. Geyer pulls out a folder from his coat, thrusting it at Stiles. “If this werewolf is who we think he is, and with how severe his wounds were, it’s a miracle that he’s even alive right now.”
“And why is that?” Stiles flips open the folder, scanning the pages. It’s just stills from a CCTV system. Stiles doesn’t recognize the face, but he thinks he should.
“Because,” Dr. Geyer says, “we think that’s Peter Hale.”
“And why do you think that?” Stiles thinks he sees a little of Derek and the girls in the man’s face. He wouldn’t right away, but with the suggestion, it’s there.
“His dental records aren’t on file and neither is his DNA, but he was found not far from the abandoned house where the Hales’ bodies were discovered, and he himself was burned near beyond recognition. I admit, I didn’t think he was Peter Hale at first. It was your father who claimed that this was Peter. He said it wasn’t a coincidence that he was found nearby the Hale house.”
“But I thought you said it was abandoned?”
“I did.”
“Where did the Hales live then?”
“I am not the person to ask that. Maybe if you talk to the remaining Hales, they may have an answer for you.”
“Noted. Thank you, doctor.”
Dr. Geyer nods before ducking away, heading back into the hospital. Stiles debates sending one of the deputies to stop him, but he decides that they’ve wasted enough time. Peter could have killed half the hospital by now.
He isn’t positive evacuating is the best thing right now. Surely they have other procedures in place to keep the supernaturals from attacking others? Why does the town seem split into those that know about the supernatural and those that don’t, and why is that split in his own family?
Stiles hefts his gun again, motioning to Kincaid and Ramirez to flank him. He vaguely recalls the way to the administrative offices: a combination of his mother being hospitalized for much of his youth and his undiagnosed ADHD. More than once as a wandering eight year old, he’d found himself down the hallway, heading toward what would now be Dr. Geyer’s office.
A sense of time running out makes Stiles start jogging. He’s not worried about the element of surprise; there is no surprising werewolves. Unless you burn their house down around them, his mind supplies. He tucks it away quickly. He can’t afford to be distracted right now. He has two deputies, three kids, Erica, and an entire hospital depending on him.
As soon as he rounds the corner, someone lets out an ear-aching scream. The Hales howl in pain, and the john doe responds in kind, lending credibility to the theory that it’s their uncle. In his peripheral, Stiles notices Kincaid crumple, hands over his ears. Ramirez looks ill, but she presses on, her service weapon held in front, sweeping the hallway from behind him.
In front of them, there is a beast, a creature really, on two legs like a man but without the familiar features. It is large, taller than Stiles, taller even than Isaac and Boyd. Its arms hang low, hand curled almost into paws with wicked claws tipping each not-finger. The face is horrifying, small, beady eyes burning with an intelligence unlike an animal’s and a tapered snout, open to reveal sharp teeth dripping with saliva.
The beast sniffs loudly before slamming against the door it has chosen.
The door caves inward, the lock breaking with no more resistance than if it hadn’t existed at all. The beast pauses, studying the occupants of the room with pointed interest before it charges inside and a no-less startling reprise of the scream sounds.
Stiles runs forward, gun up and pointed at the beast.
His eyes flick over the scene, taking in basic information before he focuses on the beast again.
Lydia and Erica are huddled behind the desk while the Hale kids stand in front of it.
Stiles is simultaneously worried and proud that these children have decided to place themselves before the beast to protect the adults behind them.
The beast is less impressed, crouching down, snarling at them.
“No,” Laura says sharply. “Peter, don’t.”
“Move,” the beast—Peter—snaps. “Let me have her.”
“No,” Laura repeats. “Stop. Change back.” Her eyes glow red, and Peter bows his head.
“But alpha, she’s an Argent.”
“She isn’t,” Stiles says, and Peter pivots, growling at him. Stiles keeps the shotgun trained on his heart. “That’s Lydia Martin.”
“Allison,” Lydia breathes, and Peter turns back to her.
“Allison?” he asks.
“My wife,” she explains. “Allison Argent. Her family disowned her when she married me. She took my name. She’s a Martin now.”
“She’s good,” Cora adds. “Uncle Peter, stop.”
“But Argents. All Argents are bad.”
“Not all Argents,” Lydia says. “There was one other good Argent. Chris, Allison’s father.”
“What happened to him?” Stiles asks. “You said ‘there was’ which means he’s either dead or not still good.”
Lydia’s face shutters but not before Stiles sees the pain deeply writ in her eyes. “Chris was a good man. He was killed on his father’s orders because he challenged their ideology. Not just about same-sex marriage, but also about their policies on supernaturals.”
“Not an Argent?” Peter asks, pointing at Lydia.
“Not an Argent,” Laura confirms.
“Not all Argents are bad?”
“No.”
“Kate Argent is bad?” Peter starts shrinking, his body contorting as his bones snap and change. He starts shaking his head and stops when he doesn’t have a snout anymore. His eyes still hold the same intelligence as before. He’s also butt-naked.
Stiles keeps his gun up as he slips into the room and grabs Lydia’s lab coat. He offers it to Peter, who takes in gingerly.
“Did you do something to Kate Argent?” Stiles asks. The call out had been because of an attack on someone. Stiles isn’t going to cry over Kate Argent but it is his job to find out what happened.
“I didn’t do anything she didn’t deserve.” Peter ties the coat around his waist. He smiles at Stiles, sharp teeth filling his mouth.
“Knock it off.” Laura smacks the back of his head.
“Alpha.”
“Did you attack Kate Argent?” Stiles catches Derek’s full-body shiver and wonders if the boy is cold in here with the AC blasting over them. He’s still small, bones jutting out of his skin. He looks healthier in color but still a long way from truly recovered.
“I didn’t do anything she didn’t deserve,” Peter repeats, also looking at Derek. He snaps his gaze back to Stiles. “Yes. I killed that bitch for what she did to my family. I also killed that incompetent buffoon who mangled the investigation so badly the old sheriff, our emissary, couldn’t save the case.”
“Wait,” Stiles says, gun dropping as he stares at Peter, “you killed Sheriff Lahey?”

Looking towards Avengers 4 (with major Infinity War spoilers)
I'm aware that this might come across as negative, so I need to get something out there immediately... I absolutely loved AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR.  I thought it was epic, and in the same way that THE AVENGERS shouldn't have worked, it totally did.  Bringing all those characters together and it not being a shambles. I've always had faith in Marvel and (in particular) the MCU... all in all INFINITY WAR is a triumph.  My excitement for AVENGERS 4 is on overload already.
The second (and much better) ANT-MAN AND THE WASP trailer has just been released, and early next year we get to meet CAPTAIN MARVEL.  That's all exciting stuff, but AVENGERS 4... that's where we've heading to.  Kevin Feige has stated that there will be a line drawn for the fans... everything before AVENGERS 4, and everything after it.
That's something to remember when discussing AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR, because whilst it feels like everything has been leading to THAT film, that's not true, it's next year's outing that really is - as Doctor Strange would say - the endgame.
It's impossible to look towards AVENGERS 4 without  talking about INFINITY WAR, of course.... especially as, well, it killed off a lot of it's characters.  I'm not about to review the film, but we HAVE to talk about the deaths.   They're very important.
Marvel have always, seemingly, been afraid to kill off major characters.  One-off villains, sure.  The odd supporting character, maybe.  But the big players?  Not so much.  During the first two phases of the MCU, the biggest death is arguably Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) in AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON.  Sadly, the death is underwhelming because... we've only just met him.  Barring a tease at the end of a previous movie, the 'twins' were only properly introduced in the film that offed him, so we can't possibly care as much as if, say one of the originals had died instead.  A lot of people thought Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) might bite the dust, and that would've meant more, certainly.  Quicksilver it was though.   Then phase three happened - would things change?  A little bit, and not at first.  Personally I was disappointed with CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, as it was a film I went in absolutely expecting the exit of a known character.  The comic book source suggested a death should happen, and really if it wasn't known that Chris Evans had more films on his slate I would've really expect Captain America to be a goner.  Knowing that wouldn't happen I expected someone in his place.   The closest we come is (Don Cheadle's) War Machine's plummet. It's dramatic... but it's not a death and it is sadly completely signposted in the trailers.
I've made my peace with CIVIL WAR though, and moved on from my initial disappointment to regard it as one of my favourite movies in the franchise. Since then, Marvel have seemingly cottoned on to the fact that - as much as we don't want to see our favourites die - it needs to happen if the audiences are to believe the jeopardy of the situations the characters are in.  In GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL 2 director/writer James Gunn chose to kill off Yondu (Michael Rooker).  It's actually a powerful moment, and whilst Yondu is hardly a core member of the group, it's affecting enough.   THOR: RAGNAROK took it further... with half the cast of the previous films not returning anyway (Foster, Selvig, Darcy and Sif all missing), the devastation across Asgard at the hands of Hela (Cate Blanchett) sees off Volstagg, Fandral, Hogun, with Odin (Anthony Hopkins) having his swansong earlier in the film.  It's enough.  True none of the 'crossover' characters get taken out... but RAGNAROK does run straight into INFINITY WAR as the fleeing Asgardian race come face to to face with Thanos' ship.
That's precisely where we start INFINITY WAR too.   Whilst some characters are questionably missing - Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie and rock dude Korg for example - those we do see aren't around for long.   The Asgardian bodies are scattered, and the first 'proper' death of film is Idris Elba's Heimdall.  He bifrosts the Hulk to Earth and in doing so is killed by Thanos (Josh Brolin).  Thor (Chris Hemsworth - in his biggest, most important role during an Avengers outing) is shocked, but the bigger shock comes when Loki (Tom Hiddleston) is throttled to death.  Okay, for some of the audience I don't think this is as big a shock as it is for Thor, but it means a lot.  Loki has been a favourite with the fans, especially the favourite villain in the MCU, and whilst I've seen some bemoan a wasted death, I think it's perfect for the film. Loki IS  a villain, and the 'bigger' deaths need to be reserved for the heroes.
Gamora.  That's a big death, which actually guides the film to it's conclusion.  Zoe Saldana's green assassin plays such an important role.... it is sad when Thanos sacrifices her for the soul stone... but again, I'm sure we saw it coming.  ONE of the GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY had to be offed. As the story unfolds, it makes sense that Gamora is the one.... and if it's a permanent death it's going make a big hole in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL 3!  She's the lead female after all.  But her death works... and, let's be honest, it's the effect on Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) that stops Iron Man and Spider-Man succeeding in getting the gauntlet off of Thanos, which could have won everything there and then.
We then have Vision (Paul Bettany).  He dies twice.   Once at the hands of Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) to save half the universe... and once by Thanos to destroy it.  Those deaths all have a lot of weight to them for varying degrees and reasons.  Heimdall is the first notable death, Loki a god, Gamora a guardian and Vision an android who probably could've been the saviour of the universe had his head not been a target.
Thanos then clicks his fingers.  A simple act, that has devastating consequences. Half the life in the universe gets wiped out - including half of our heroes.  Bucky, Falcon, Black Panther, Groot, Scarlet Witch, Spider-Man, Star-Lord, Drax, Mantis, Maria Hill, Nick Fury and Doctor Strange.  They all... disappear.  It's has a massive impact  The bad guy won.  The good guys lost.  The last shot of the film is Thanos smiling.   The credits are black and sombre.  At the very end we're normally told that our heroes will return... but we're not... instead we're told that Thanos will return.
It's a shock.
Until you think about it.

If AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR was the last film of the phase, then the impact would be astounding, but we know AVENGERS 4 is now a year away. When the third phase was announced, a two-parter was announced - AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR PART 1 & PART 2.  Since then, the writers and directors have tried to undo that.  INFINITY WAR has now 'part one' attached, and the title to the follow up is still a secret.  We've been told that the film is very different to the one we've seen, but the title is technically a spoiler, so they chose to withhold it so audiences could concentrate on the movie at hand.
Having seen INFINITY WAR (and I'll state again - I loved it) I really wouldn't be surprised if the title for the next film ends up simply being AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR VOL 2.   I can't see how it's not a simple 'second part'.  Thanos smiling at the end of this movie might as well have had the words 'to be continued' written across it.
And the more I think about those deaths at the end, the more it bugs me. Why?  Because it's the wrong characters that died.   That might sound like a silly statement, but stick with me here... look at the list again.... in particular, Black Panther, Doctor Strange... Spider-Man... almost all of the Guardians.   They're all characters that will DEFINITELY be back.  Next year sees the sequel to SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING.  The year after, we have GUARIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL 3, and let's be honest, there's no way we're not getting a DOCTOR STRANGE 2 or  BLACK PANTHER 2.  Most of the characters (barring Maria Hill and Nick Fury) are phase 2 or 3 characters, and will have their place amongst phase 4.
Who are we left with?  Iron Man, Thor, Dr Banner, Steve Rogers, Black Widow, War Machine, Nebula, Okoye, Rocket and M'Baku.  These are the characters we'll be following into the next movie - what's odd about that is, except for the last few names on the list - these are the guys who are moving on.  Robert Downey Jr was the first guy we ever saw in this franchise.  Chris Evans has publically said he's done, and Chris Hemsworth's arc seems largely done now.    I'm going to come back to this.   This is important.  Right now, I'm going to start looking at what I know/suspect about AVENGERS 4...
CLINT BARTON, ANT-MAN, WASP and CAPTAIN MARVEL
These four are joining the action.   No question.   There's been a lot of upset that Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) was absent from the marketing, but that's simply because he wasn't in the film.  They probably could've shoehorned him into it they wanted, he could've shot lots of arrows in the Wakanda fight... but he's been saved for something bigger.   The on-set photos of him seem to suggest Clint is now going by the name Ronin.  I assume this is because, whilst he was keeping away from the Avengers to keep his family safe, his family then disappeared with Thanos' click.   He probably blames himself.  Maybe an extra pair of hands could've helped save the day?  With so many characters now taken out of action, I reckon Barton (whatever his moniker) will have a major role to play in the next movie.  Likewise, Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly and Brie Larson get to tag in... with Ant-Man (also noted to be missing from IW) Wasp and Captain Marvel (both ladies kept back until their superhero statues had been revealed officially in their respective movies) coming in the kick ass.  Captain Marvel even gets a tease in the post credits as Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson) sends her an emergency message).  She's likely to play a key part too, as she's be noted to be the most powerful of all the heroes.
And it's now I need to go back to my feeling that they've killed off the wrong characters.  You see, think about this... as it stands, with the deaths we've have, we known it's all going to get undone.  We know things are going to be sorted to some degree.   But now switch it.   Imagine the characters that died at the end were Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, Hulk, Rocket, Nebula, War Machine... would we be so certain things would be undone?  Knowing certain contracts were at the end, others happy to leave... and imagine also, that first battle in New York, but with all the new guys - Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Spider-Man, the Guardians... all joining in what was already an brilliant cinematic scene.   How great would that money shot be - you know the one, with the six Avengers in a circle together for the first time, but now bolstered by added Ant-Man, Falcon, Scarlet Witch, Captain Marvel...
I just wonder if the writers have missed a trick.  Because we do, really know things are going to be okay.  But we return to that feeling that a lot of these deaths in this movie were for shock value only, they will be undone.  Maybe not for EVERYONE, but mostly.  It also makes us wonder... is Vision gone?  Will Gamora, and maybe even Loki rise from their graves?  Hell, will the reset button go so far back that even the likes of Quicksilver and all over Asgard come back?
I think what we will see, is the original gang lay down their lives to bring all those characters back.  Going back in time might not actually be the big finale, it might be second act action leaving into a third act where Thanos joins forces with the Avengers against... a Gauntlet wielding Nebula (Karen Gillan's character does get to do that in the comic, and she's still around) or a different character... maybe the Skrulls will appear?  (I don't think that's the case though).
Whilst I am, I guess, disappointed with who they killed off, I do believe we'll have a cracking end to the three phases of the MCU.  I do believe that it'll end the franchise as we know - as certain characters will be leaving us, and there'll undoubtedly be a lump in the throat as they do.   Whilst a lot of the characters will (probably) be missing for large portion of the film, I do believe - if Sebastian Stan can be believed - there'll be the biggest 'money shot' we've seen - with more characters than we've ever seen, including characters like Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) coming into the mix somehow.
Whatever AVENGERS 4 has in store, I am so excited.  This will most definitely not be my last post n the matter.  There's so much to look forward to... what we already know, and all the stuff we haven't got a clue about!

I’ve seen several people categorizing who they think is safe or not in Infinity War and Avengers 4, and figured I'd throw in my two cents. Warning for spoilers below.
~~~
Totally Safe:
- Peter Parker: Obviously. He just got here and he's got more movies coming. I'm not sure they'd kill off a child anyway, but the whole “future of the MCU” thing is a great comfort.
- Stephen Strange: Same deal, he hasn't been here for long at all and Benedict has more films in the contract. He’s also been described as being a very important fixture in the MCU’s future so he's not going anywhere.
- T’Challa: Again, a newbie with a huge future ahead of him. They’re already discussing his sequels and calling Wakanda a mainstay. No way is anything happening to him.
- Bucky Barnes: Sebastian still has movies in his contract and I highly suspect they're going to have him take up the Cap mantle.
- Sam Wilson: That good old contract reassurance again. And while Bucky seems pretty much poised to become Cap, Sam is another possibility (though he's more likely to remain Falcon and help Bucky get his footing).
- Peter Quill: Chris Pratt is definitely here to stay. Both Peters have a 100% chance of survival.
- Rocket Raccoon: James Gunn already confirmed we’ll get Rocket’s backstory in Vol 3.
- Groot: Where Rocket goes, Groot goes. He’s fine.
- Mantis: Barely been here and confirmed for Vol 3.
- Scott Lang: I'd be shocked if they pulled anything with him. He's got a future ahead of him.
- Shuri: Literally untouchable. They wouldn't dare.
- Okoye: Ditto. The Black Panther cast is pretty much guaranteed to be protected.
- M’Baku: Before Black Panther came out I probably would have placed him elsewhere on this list but I honestly can't see them getting rid of him after his newfound popularity. (I know this was filmed before BP was released, but still)
Probably Safe:
- Gamora: I don't know what Zoe’s contract is like but I simply don't think they'd do it. Her story is far from over and killing her would be a dumb move.
- Natasha Romanoff: I’d be more worried about her if they weren't discussing a Black Widow movie. For all we know it’ll be set in the past, but it's enough to give me hope that she'll be alright.
- Thor Odinson: Same goes for Thor. For the time being, Chris is contractually finished, but the fact that he's talked with Taika about ideas for a Thor 4 makes me feel a lot better about his livelihood.
- Wanda Maximoff: They’ve already killed one Maximoff too many. Wanda has too much story left to tell, both on her own and with her relationship to Vision. To kill her before telling those stories would be a criminal misuse of the character. And I'm really hoping she sticks around long enough to meet Magneto if the X-Men get integrated.
- Vision: I put him here purely because I don't think he's been around long enough to kill off, and he doesn't need the Mind Stone to survive which means Thanos getting his hands on it does not automatically mark Vision for death. He's still potentially on thin ice, and I considered placing him as At Risk, but he probably has a future with Wanda to explore and I'm not sure they'd throw that away.
- Bruce Banner / Hulk: Pretty sure Mark still has a movie left on his contract after Avengers 4. From the looks of set pics, Hulk seems to run away at the end (again), so he's probably fine. However I am concerned about Bruce and whether he'll be completely buried inside of Hulk.
- Wong: Killing him would make sense as a personal blow to Stephen, but I'm sure he's still got a place in future Doctor Strange material. A Stephen without a Wong feels incomplete.
- Ramonda: Only because everyone’s parents are dead and I don't trust Marvel. She's probably fine but I've got my eye on her anyway.
- Pepper Potts: She probably won't be involved in any action therefore remaining in safety, but if the Rescue rumors are true and if she and Tony are married and possibly expecting any children, then she's just a little bit more at risk than she would have been otherwise.
- Happy Hogan: I’m literally only concerned about Happy because Tony made a throwaway comment in Homecoming where he told Peter not to stress him out too badly because he’s “seen his cardiogram”, implying a heart issue (probably because of what happened to him in Iron Man 3). I'm sure they'll be too busy to pay much attention to Happy whatsoever, but I mean, if anything is gonna give you a heart attack, it’s this disaster.
- Valkyrie: Pretty sure they've confirmed they have plans for her, but with all of the Asgardians in serious jeopardy, I'm still just concerned enough.
At Risk:
- Nebula: I would say that she's probably safe because Karen and the writers have expressed their love for exploring her character, but between her and Gamora, there are high chances that something bad will happen to one of them because of Thanos, and I don't see it being Gamora. With her quest for vengeance, she could all too easily find herself in the line of fire.
- James Rhodes: My only hesitation is that he's recovering from a serious injury from Civil War and I'm not sure they'd kill him after that, but otherwise, Rhodey is a prime target. He's been around for ages and he’s Tony’s best friend, so it would be very impactful for Tony as a character and for us as an audience.
- Clint Barton: I'd like to say they wouldn't do it because he has a family, but Marvel doesn’t seem to give a rip about Clint, which could either work against him or in his favor because it could mean that he's disposable or it could mean that they wouldn't find his death impactful enough to do it. Fingers crossed it's the latter, but I don't trust them.
- Drax: I hadn't been worried about him until Dave mentioned wanting to go back to wrestling, which would make it difficult to commit to acting gigs since they both take up so much time. I could see Drax going out in a blaze of glory trying to avenge his wife and daughter.
- Heimdall: I was worried enough about him as it was because the Asgardians clearly get attacked and I've heard pretty much nothing about Heimdall and his role in this movie (for months I didn't think Idris was even in it!), but then they released a toy where Thor has Heimdall’s sword with him and my anxiety skyrocketed. If they make me watch Heimdall die while giving Thor his sword with my own two eyes...
- Nick Fury: I have no clue what he's even supposed to do in this movie, but I figure he's important enough yet small enough of a role that they could get away with killing him (for real this time).
- Maria Hill: Same goes for her.
- Laura Barton: They'd better not touch a hair on her sweet head, but all I'm saying is that Clint will need an emotional push into the Ronin identity, and the comics where he had a family ended up with said family being violently murdered, so I have reason to be suspicious...
It Physically Pains Me To Say That They’re Most Likely Goners:
- Loki: Contrary to popular belief, I don't think he'll get killed in the first five minutes, or maybe even the whole first act, because he definitely has a role to play that requires him to live longer than that (and Feige has said that he'll be with Thanos for “a while” which is definitely longer than five minutes) and I think his character progression will be a key part of whatever that role is, but that character progression is also part of the problem, because I can 1000% see him sacrificing himself and/or being killed fighting against Thanos. No matter what happens, the chances of him going out as a hero are massive and I don't see him making it, whether that be in Infinity War or Avengers 4. When it comes to some of the people who are in A4 it's a little tricky because it may simply be whatever flashback/timeline/AU nonsense seems to be going on rather than them still being alive, so I can't begin to speculate on when his death will occur, but I'm pretty resigned to the idea that it will happen whether I like it or not (literally anyone could tell you that I don't).
- Steve Rogers: This one just feels like a sad inevitability. Killing such a huge character would cause a gigantic impact on the audience and the other characters. He would be a martyr that would make everyone else fight even harder so that his death wouldn't be for nothing, and Bucky could take on the Cap mantle. I already felt like it was luck that he made it out of Civil War, considering Steve famously dies in that comic, but now they're adapting yet another story in which he dies, and I know the MCU certainly doesn't always follow comics (and they've promised that despite the influence of the Infinity/Gauntlet comics, things will definitely be different) but I’m not sure how many times he can cheat death like this. And for the character, dying for a cause he believes in is the best possible way he could go out (and frankly the only way, how else would you off Captain America?), and he could be at peace in death with Peggy.
- Tony Stark: I need to preface this by saying that if they're writing Tony out, my emotional state hinges on him making it out alive and living happily ever after with Pepper and being surrounded by the people who love him, however I get a bad feeling that my emotional state is going to be completely screwed over, whether it's this movie or the next. Tony started all of this ten years ago, and much as I hate it, it makes sense from a writing perspective to cut off the head of the figurative snake as we move to the next decade of Marvel. And talk about an impact. There is no other death that would cause such earth shattering repercussions as his would, for the characters and for us. The Marvel Universe would be rocked to its very core. I used to be more hopeful about his chances for survival, but over time it's started looking worse for him and at this point I'd be more surprised if they let him live.
AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR SPOILER REVIEW
I wrote most of my opinions on the movie in general in my NO SPOILER review, so I won’t be repeating myself, but instead will discuss in depth, the story and plot.
MAJOR SPOILER WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I still can’t wrap my head around Gamora’s death. She was such an awesome, strong female character in the MCU and I’m so sad to see her go. I wished she lived long enough to see the end of, and have a hand in, her father’s demise.
Doctor Strange blew my freaking mind. MAN. I always said I liked his character more than his movie, and this is what I’M TALKING ABOUT. HE’S SO COOL AND AWESOME. I’m so happy we FINALLY see Doctor Strange this way. He kicked a** in the movie and definitely stood out, amongst a large number of amazing characters, which is such an amazing feat. & to anyone thinking: “But he’s so stupid, why would he give the Time Stone away so easily?!” You’re forgetting something. Doctor Strange KNOWS what’s going to happen. He looked at their futures. He knows he has to give up the Time Stone to win in the long run. He said earlier on in the film he would let Tony & Peter die for the Time Stone, and with his stubborn personality, he wouldn’t have a change of heart that fast. As he said himself, “It was the only way…” (to defeat Thanos in the long run)
To say I love the Thor would be an understatement. In Ragnarok and especially in Infinity War, we finally see him at the height of his powers. I’ve also I’ve always been fascinated with the idea how Mjölnir was made, and to see the making of STORMBREAKER, with GROOT, ROCKET, AND TYRION LANNISTER by his side, it was incredible (also: how GOOD WAS HIS CHEMISTRY WITH THE GUARDIANS?! I loved it.)
And, I don’t care what Tony thinks, Thor is the strongest Avenger, and he KILLED IT.
I also loved Scarlet Witch in this movie. In my opinion, she doesn’t get enough appreciation and people underestimate her & her powers, but the fact that she was able to destroy the Mind Stone proved how powerful she is, I thought she was awesome (even though I don’t really like her relationship with Vision).
Now, Star Lord, Oh Star Lord.. what did you do? I have to be honest, I have a love/hate relationship with Star Lord (and Chris Pratt tbh), and I loved & hated him in Infinity War more than ever. He was bad***, cool, exciting, funny… and then he decided to punch Thanos. While it really angered me at first, someone pointed out that it was most probably meant to be in order for them to defeat Thanos in the long run. But seeing the Gauntlet slip out of Spiderman’s hand at the last second made me wince. Damn it, Quill.
One thing I loved without a shadow of a doubt in this movie was the separate, but connected storylines, and the dynamic/relationship between the characters who are meeting for the first time. All of the groups had GREAT chemistry! Tony, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, and Star Lord, Thor, Rocket, and Groot (HOW CUTE AND PERFECT!). Cap, Black Widow, Hulk, T’Challa, Bucky, Scarlet Witch, Vision. It was all so perfect, seeing two narcissist Sherlocks with big egos quarreling, a mighty Norse god with a raccoon and a tree, and super soldiers and assassins with the King of Wakanda, his army, and Bruce role-playing as Iron Man. It was a perfect blend and unity of our beloved characters.
Captain America is a character that will always have a place in my heart, and I literally squealed and clapped at his entrance. However, I needed more on Captain America / Black Widow. and their time post Civil War. Cap especially is a very important character in the MCU and to me, and I was upset that we didn’t see more of what he was up to. His sudden appearance to help defend Vision and Wanda just felt rushed for plot convenience, which I didn’t appreciate. Maybe they’ll expand on what he was up to in Avengers 4, but I love Cap so much that I just needed more.
Some of my of my favorite comic book characters of all time, Iron Man, Hulk, and Spider-Man, were just as great in this movie. I got so emotional when we discovered Tony and Pepper were engaged, because this is FINALLY where he deserves to be, and yet Infinity War comes along and Marvel loves to torture us. Seeing Thanos stab him made my heart stop, but I’m happy he’s safe (for noe). Seeing Science Bros reuniting and Bruce hugging Tony made me so emotional and reminded me of happier times. Spider-Man is literally one of my childhood heroes, and I LOVE Tom Holland’s version of him, which is arguably the best. He was so fun and brilliant in this movie, and I can’t express my love for his relationship with Tony; they both look at each other as father/son, and the way he calls Tony “Mr. Stark” and always wants to impress him. Gah my heart.
Though I have a few personal issues and bones to pick with Thanos, I can’t deny that I thought he was a great villain. Yes, his intentions can seem stereotypical, and he isn’t my favorite MCU antagonist (Loki & Killmonger), but I can’t deny he was great. He was unstoppable, ruthless, and showed no mercy. Plus, he was scary because you know your faves aren’t safe against him. He was so frightening that on my second screening of the film, there was a little kid a few seats away that sat trembling in fear when Thanos collected all the Infinity Stones. THIS is a great villain.
Something I really didn’t like in the film was Loki’s death. Loki’s death was TOO FAST, AND TOO SOON. If you know me, you know I went through a Loki phase & he’s a character I actually really love. I low-key (lol) expected him to die, but the way it happened kinda angered me. The Loki we’ve seen before wouldn’t be that stupid to try and stab Thanos like that. I AT LEAST expected him to make it really seem like he was betraying Thor (again) but had a bigger plan, and was going to betray Thanos for Thor.  + The scene was too fast. Did we REALLY have to see Drax eating snacks instead of more Loki? It was very disappointing. In my opinion, he was the greatest villain in the MCU and deserved better. However, I do have to say it was amazing to hear him say “We have a Hulk”.
Another thing, Thanos’ children were lame. I hoped for characters similar to Captain Phasma - even though they wouldn’t be the villain in the film, but rather a minor antagonist, I at least expected them to be somewhat cool. But alas,  I don’t really care about them, they didn’t have that big of an impact, and at least we got that hilarious Squidward joke.
So let’s talk about that ending. I’m going to be honest here, don’t worry about the safety of those that died at the end. Most of them have contracts for future movies past Avengers 4. I would say most of them are safe in the long run. Worry about those who are still alive, as it seems THEY are the ones facing Thanos in Avengers 4 next year. Even though I was very emotional, I was actually satisfied with the ending because I love a good cliffhanger, I can theorize a bit, and yet I still don’t know what to expect! I loved it. And I don’t care what Kevin Feige says, those characters will come back somehow…
In conclusion, I loved Infinity War. The Russo brothers took huge risks, but I’ve always wanted to see stakes this high in the MCU. Even though many of my beloved characters “died” at the end, it was emotional, epic and exciting.
OKAY SO THIS IS ABOUT THE TRAILER IM DOING A TALK THINGY SO YALL CLICK THE READ MORE TO READ MORE
(links to gifs and stuff will be in bold)
i am not going back to the trailer as i type this so i may get stuff wrong or miss things but yeah. i’ve seen it only four times, too. so. not an expert. BUT IM SHAKING. so typos maybe.
BTW THIS IS GOING TO BE VERY OUT OF ORDER, AS THINGS COME TO MIND. LET’S START WITH THE GAMORA STUFF.
GAMORA. AS A NARRATOR. YESSSSSSSSS. LOVE.
So, it starts with her talking about Thanos and how he wants to destroy “half the universe” or something. then later someone says he only wants to destroy half the people???? is this like half will surrender after half have died?? or does he like some people? does he have half of earth secretly on his side (like hydra in shield)???
also. WE GET TINY GAMORA IN A FLASHBACK WITH THANOS IM SCREAMING HJGFDXSRAWERSTDYFUGIYFUTDYRSTEARRESTDYFUG!!!!!!!!!!!
next. rhodey. WE SEE HIM WALKING IN WAKANDA!!!!!!! LIKE!!!! NORMALLY!!!! he has some leg braces but they look better than what tony made so i’m guessing shuri did something????
THAT BRINGS US TO SHURI. THE BEST. SHE IS ONLY THERE A BIT BUT SHE IS LOOKING AWESOME WITH THAT HOLOGRAM THINGY OF....??? IDK. i looked for a gifset but didn’t see one in the first ten seconds of scrolling so i moved on. (@xtaticpearlsblog said it’s vision/the mind stone though which is cool, and i’ve seen a gif later now that kind of looks like that.)
SPIDERMAN. peter. parker. HIS SCENE WITH DOCTOR STRANGE HUGYUFTYDRTEW$Q. MADE UP NAMES??? YASSSSSSS PETER. also. the part where other peter is sassing Tony? and parker looks sO CONFUSED LIKE “OH NO DAD IS IN TROUBLE. wait. why is this man flirting with dad.” OR SOMETHING.
and that scene on the bus like PETER NO. RETURN TO YOUR SEAT.
also? peter quill? YES PLEASE. “your plan sucks, let’s do mine instead” basically. ALSO HE JUMPS ON DOCTOR STRANGE’S MAGIC JUMPY THINGS. LIKE. JIHUGYFTREW.
doctor strange? don’t die please? what are those, knives? ices? magic? i really hope it’s magic because then he can block w/ his magic or something.
but like he does the thing for peter quill to jump on and not die so yay?
ALSO ALSO ALSO
STEVE HOLDS BACK THE INFINITY GAUNTLET WITH HIS BARE HANDS
IT HAS TWO STONES IN IT
THE POWER STONE AND THE SPACE STONE
MNBVGCFXDSZAZSXCTVYUBIUBYVTCDXRSWEAWRSDTFYGU
HE’S PROBABLY IN WAKANDA BECAUSE IT LOOKS LIKE WAKANDA AND I AM FREAKING OUT BECAUSE STEVEEEEEEEEEEEE
thor and loki shall be grouped together so i can discuss one scene in particular: the tesseract.
we see Thanos going SQUISH on thor’s head.
then we see loki
then we see thanos going SQUISH on the tesseract
so loki traded a squish for a squish and sacrificed half the universe for his bro
(technically it’s 0.08333333333 of the universe because it’s one stone out of six but WHATEVER)
also thor does lightning which is yay
but will loki die? imdb doesn’t have tom on the avengers 4 cast but google does and imdb doesn’t have, like, peter parker or peter quill both are on google AND have future movies coming so i don’t trust imdb. see this post for (bad) clarification.
now for just thor because that part was mostly loki and i will not disgrace thor in that way
hello eyepatch.
he lightnings around groot and rocket. yay. groot + rocket + thor together :)
also???? squish?????? THOR NO. live please.
(i have hope for thor’s living because chris h has expressed hope in doing thor 4 which probably won’t happen BUT STILL)
uhhh?????? tony????? let’s talk about tony for a sec. so. he’s ?????? so????????? JHGYUFTDRES???????????
like i’m not a tony stan but i am a tony FAN and the trailer KILLED me. like???he is a literal missile now. ok. + the terrible plan... I WONDER WHAT IT IS. he better not be sacrificing himself again. i might die if he does.
uhhh????????? t’challa? is? GREAT??????? like yasss. that’s all i can say is yasss.
i feel like the guardians were on Knowhere in one scene. Which would be really cool because the Aether is on Knowhere and in the trailer we haven’t seen Thanos with a red stone yet.
I HAVE SO MUCH MORE TO SAY BUT I CAN’T SAY IT ALL BECAUSE MY MIND IS COMPLETELY EMPTY RIGHT NOW AND I’M FREAKING OUT SO I MIGHT REBLOG THIS LATER WITH MORE STUFF
I JUST LOVE IT ALL SO MUCH
I saw Infinity War
It was fun! I expected it to be mostly Big Fight Scenes, and that’s what I got. I did find the ending a bit weak, and I’ll explain why behind the cut. Spoilers for both Infinity War and Avengers 4, since I’m going to talk about the set photo leaks:
Listen. Listen. If they wanted me to buy that all those deaths were permanent,  they should not have killed the characters with announced sequels. This is a common problem with Big Summer Comic Events, actually; the blurbs will be all “Oh, will THIS CHARACTER survive???? MAYBE NOT OOOOooooooOOOOoo”, but the previews for the next few months will be advertising that character’s brand new solo title. It just....completely kills the suspense. I know most, if not all, of these deaths will not be permanent, and the ‘death’ of Black Panther and Spiderman just hammered that point home. You couldn’t even leave a scrap of suspense? Really? Idk, this is the exact reason why I don’t read a lot of big summer comic events anymore: the cheap plot points that you know aren’t going to last.
Besides that, it was a fun movie! Some of my favorite parts:
THOR
OKOYE
THAT BLACK WIDOW/OKOYE/SCARLET WITCH/PROXIMA MIDNIGHT SHOWDOWN HELLLLLL YEAAAAAAAAH
Okay speaking of Proxima THEY MADE HER LOOK AWESOME. I always hated her outfit in the comics and I’m SO HAPPY they gave her a visual upgrade.
She kinda looked like a tiefling tbh??
A SPACE DEATH CULT TIEFLING
The Doctor Strange/Thanos fight looked AMAZING. The FX team really brought their A-Game to this film, and it shows!
Spider-Man popping Thanos in the head via portals was A+++
Speaking of FX: THE WAKANDA INVASION. YES.
“It will be the greatest death!” THAT’S MY GIRL!!
The swarm mindlessly tearing through the shield was FANTASTIC and TERRIFYING I LOVED IT
THOR AGAIN THE STAR FORGE SCENE HELL YES THAT’S MY BOY
Did the casting team pick Peter Dinklage just to make that giant dwarf visual pun
Tony was great, but that was unsurprising since this team seem to love Tony Star lol. I have nothing more to add that hasn’t been said on this site already.
I DID catch that the flip phone had unread text messages, and I desperately want to know what they said.
Small updates from the team? Steve tentatively reaching out to Tony? Steve’s drunk dick pics?? We’ll never know.
When will Bucky have actual character development. Why is he always Steve’s Damsel in Distress/Source Of Angst
We’re never going to get comics!Bucky in the MCU, are we
 :( :( :(
At least his scene with Rocket was funny
GAMORA WAS THE HEART OF THIS FILM
WHY ISN’T SHE THE MAIN CHARACTER OF GOTG
WHY
WHO’S PETER QUILL I DON’T KNOW HIM
Okay as annoying as I found Peter in the first GotG film (to the point where I never....saw....the sequel lol), I thought he was decent here? I think it helped that they toned down his silliness.
And as annoying as it was to see Team Galactic fail to remove the gauntlet....I really don’t blame Peter for reacting as he did. Poor guy just discovered the woman he loved (and failed to keep his promise to) died by her father’s hand. That’s awful.
Same for Scarlet Witch re: not killing Vision right away. That’s her boyfriend of two years, of course she’s not going to want to kill him.
The scene in The Collector’s chambers was excellent. Zoe Saldana and Chris Pratt acted the hell out of that script and it was painfully well down. I felt terrible for both of them.
Speaking of the failure to remove the gauntlet, was it just me or was that fight waaaaay better than the final fight in the movie? The final fight was just a slow-mo of each team member going against Thanos one-on-one, and it....kinda killed the tensions. I was super engaged on the Titan fight, and seeing everyone swarm Thanos and lose at the last second was just so tense and well-paced. In contrast, the final fight felt too drawn-out and kinda boring. I wasn’t engaged, I was just waiting for the inevitable to happen.
Maybe that was the point idk WHY DID THEY MAKE IT BORING THE REST OF THE FIGHTS WERE SO GOOD WHAT HAPPENED
Despite the terrible final fight, I did like the abrupt ending. Very appropriate.
And now I eagerly awaiting the sequel AVENGERS: TONY AND NEBULA’S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE. The leaked set photos definitely hint that Tony is going to go back in time, but I don’t think he’s going to get the gauntlet. I think they’re going to stick to the comics and give Nebula the gauntlet, or at least some of the stones. Maybe they manage to nab the Time Stone and Tony goes ‘Fuck it, TIME TRAVEL’, while Nebula stays behind so she can finally get to kill her shitty dad.
Speaking of said shitty dad...god they made Thanos look like an IDIOT. Like really??? You want to save the universe by killing half of it??? Why not use your all-powerful galactic glove to idk MAKE INFINITE RESOURCES. I think Thor’s line at the beginning was spot-on: what Thanos actually wants is to be a god. A god with a shitty, shitty plan that would be a temporary solution anyways because the SURVIVORS WOULD REPRODUCE YOU ABSOLUTE DUMBASS I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED HIM WANTING TO FUCK DEATH THAT WOULD HAVE MADE HIM LOOK LESS STUPID
GAAAAH
(still a fun movie though would recommend, better than AoU and CW)
baby blues ~ Derek hale
Prompt ~ Derek hears a 3rd heartbeat works out reader is pregnant and goes missing for a while
Pairing ~ Derek hale x reader
Warnings ~ swearing
  Story Life wasn't always easy, after your mother had died your father turned to alcohol to deal with the grief, quickly becoming an alcoholic, drunk and violent he blamed you for his wife's death. You ran away aged 15 and had lived on the streets. So when the Hales offered you a home and the pack became a family you flew at the chance. For 6 months things had been incredible you and Derek had secretly started dating until Peter and Lydia figured it out but the both agreed to keep your relationship a secret too.
You woke one morning to find Derek wasn't in bed which was unusual, he wasn't in he loft either puzzled thinking where he was, the door bell buzzed breaking you out of your own thoughts  as you stood up walking to open it you had a strange feeling something was wrong that you couldn't shake. Opening the door you saw Lydia smiling at me "shopping trip" she squealed you groan realising you had completely forgotten. After inviting her in getting washed and dressed as she shouted all the places she wanted us to go. Finally getting dressed your went to the living room, "you okay? You look a little pale" Lydia asked. You nod saying yes while writing a note for Derek telling him you had gone out for the day.
Lydia had dragged you into 4 different shops already and it was only just turning midday. Feeling tired and a little sick you both went for dinner, when your [y/f/m] arrived you felt so sick you can't bring yourself to eat it. The smell from the food court was also making you nauseous, a bubbling in your stomach made you jump up and run to the toilet. Lydia followed with all the bags as you finished vomiting. "what's wrong?" She asked looking a little worried with her phone in her hand texting. "don't know something I eat maybe, I feel ill can we go home" you say wiping your face in the mirror.
You returned home with Lydia helping you in to find Peter hale sat on the couch. "you look like crap y/n" he said. "and it's nice to see you to peter" you say with a hint of sarcasm. Peter laughed standing up to hug you "I've missed you little beta" peter said, Peter was the reason you met Derek and found a home Peter had found you living on the street and bite you to save you dying of pneumonia. You became Peter's beta looking up to him like a big brother.
"is Derek home" you asked with a weak smile. Peter shook his head no "I think he's got something he needs to do he'll be a day or two he told me when he called for me to come here"  he said strangely looking you up and down. Confused to why Derek never told you he was going away for a few days, you went to ask Peter another question but as you opened your mouth you throw up all over the floor. Lydia left leaving you in the hands of Peter she was unsure if it was the right thing to do but she had no choice he was almost pushing her out the door.
It had been almost 3 weeks since you had became sick with no change you was still vomiting all the time and Derek was still gone making you feel worse sick with worry. Both you and Peter had been trying to reach Derek but his phone was off. Peter wanted to take you to Deaton worried about how sick and tired you always was, but being stubborn you refused saying you didn't need a doctor or a vet for a virus, Peter gave in but told you to stay in bed until you was better. The Pack was starting to worry about Derek, he wouldn't answer his phone or any text messages. No one had seen or heard from him, Scott had called everyone Braeden, Chris argent, Isaac Lahey even Lydia called Aidan but with no luck.
Scott called a meeting at the McCall house after Peter had stopped the pack coming to the loft with you being sick. After Peter had gone out, you got dressed and went to Scott's. Melissa opened the door  "their all in the kitchen" she said smiling. Walking in you could hear stiles and Scott talking "we could track his phone maybe get my dad or Parrish to help" stiles said. You chuckled he really was smarter then anybody gave him credit for. "hi everyone" you started to say but stopped when you saw Peter stood in the corner. He looked mad, the look in his eyes told you what his words didn't "I thought I told you to stay in". Looking at everyone but Peter you sat down ignoring what he'd said. "how you feeling y/n?" Lydia asked you nodded "Im good I've been feeling better the last few days" you lied. You didn't care that you was sick you wanted to help find Derek.
Peter scoffed and snorted, you looked at him with daggers "what Peter, something you want to say?" you snarled at him. "oh the is plenty I want to say" he started. Rolling your eyes (a habit you had picked up from Derek) "well you love to hear yourself talk, so speak!" you demand. "well first how about you stop lying I heard you vomiting at 6am this morning, and ever morning for the last week, or how about when I tell you to see Deaton your stubborn ass refuses saying your so called virus will go on a few days. well a few days has been and your still sick and I bet you still won't go" now very angry, Peter's eyes glowed blue as he walked out the door. You ran out after him "okay your right I'm still sick but I think I know why!" peter stopped and came close to you "it's Derek I've been sick since the day he left. He's my mate I think because where apart it's making me ill. So I'm staying and helping you and the pack find him" you told Peter. He smiled knowing it was the first honest thing you had told him in days but couldn't help but huff knowing you was wrong.
He was about to tell you what he knew what he'd heard the first day he came back, what he believed made Derek leave but saw Scott and the rest of the group in the doorway listening and watching you both. " you want to help! You look like shit, stiles could blow on you and you'd hit the floor! You can't help yourself find a glass of water never mind find Derek" he yelled storming out regretting what he'd said but hoped it would make you take a step back. Groaning you turned to face your friends suddenly feeling dizzy, little white dots appeared in your vision, closing your eyes you feel yourself and hit the ground.
Peter was at the car when he heard shouts coming from the McCall house. he watched as Scott ran out with y/n in his arms Melissa and stiles close behind all 3 getting into stiles jeep. He stood confused and worried he walked to the house without taking his eyes of the jeep as it's engine hummed to life. Lydia ran out the door almost bumping into Peter "what's happened to y/n" he asked the banshee with nothing but concern. "she collapsed I'll explain let's get to the hospital" she said hurrying Peter to his car the drove to the vets to pick up Deaton and then headed to beacon hills memorial.
At the hospital Melissa got a gurney and rushed you into a room one of her Co workers asking why she was in early "my sons friend collapsed" she said rushing past the nurses station. She had begun tests by the time Peter Lydia and Kira had arrived also placing y/n on a drip to give her fluids. Melissa walked in happy to see you now awake, looking at your results  "well I've finished you blood tests and I know why you fainted, your" Melissa started. Peter and the others was walking into the room as Melissa spoke "pregnant" both Melissa and Peter said together.
The whole room let out a simultaneous gasp, then a silence most thinking the same thing who is the father some turning to look at Peter. Deaton and Melissa where both looking over your medical notes, "no! No! I'm not pregnant I've just sick I have a bug or something, I can't be pregnant" you started to say. "may I?" Deaton asked with a gesture to examine you. Nodding you watched stiles gave Peter a devil stair. "your definitely pregnant about 4 weeks I'd say" the vet said feeling your stomach, as he pushed you felt something inside you hit (well kick) back against his hand. Everyone watched as doctor
Deaton carried on poking and pushing you, listening to you stomach. "looks like it's a little wolf too but it doesn't explain why your so sick" he said calmly looking at Peter. He was still looking you over shining lights in your eyes. You was trying to wrap your head around it "I'm giving birth to a werewolf in 8 months" you whispered to yourself but Deaton heard you "months no! Your a werewolf your baby is one too, your going to give birth in around 5-8 weeks" he smiled at you "what weeks" stiles asked "yes wolf pregnancy is only 9-12 weeks y/n is already 4 weeks so about 2 months left" the vet chucked. Peter stood in the corner with a smirk "the is going to be a new wolf in the family" he giggled amused. "so you are sleeping with her?" stiles said, he looked like he was about to charge at Peter "what, no" peter looked at stiles like he'd said the most stupidest or disgusting thing ever. "It's Derek's isn't? " Scott asks looking directly at you. Still with your head in your hands you sigh nodding before looking at your friend "how did you know" your quietly say. "I heard you and Peter arguing in my hallway you said you think your sick because Derek was gone your his mate". You roll your eyes knowing now you have to explain to the pack how you was Derek's girlfriend not just Peter's homeless beta like they all thought.
"what?" Deaton asked although he'd heard clearly what Scott had said. Before anyone could answer you started throwing up again. Melissa kicked everyone out of your room as she helped you. After a few minutes Deaton also followed the group out. He looked puzzled walking over to peter "how long has she been like this?" he asked "about 2 or 3 weeks I think" peter answered Deaton hummed "and is she eating normally? How is she sleeping?" peter rolled his eyes with the vets questions "as far as I know and I'm not her keeper by the way no she's not sleeping barely 3 hours a night, only sleeping when she's too exhausted to stay awake. But yes she's eating, okay she my be vomiting it back up a few hours later" Deaton continued to asked questions about when you getting sick, what was you doing before you was sick until he had all the answers he needed. he asked Scott to go the vet clinic with him while "so what wrong with her?" Peter asked "I'm not sure I have 2 thoughts but I think getting Derek back can be good idea" leaving Peter annoyed and confused. He walked in to find y/n asleep Melissa looked at him whispering "I've given her something like doctor Deaton told me you can stay as long as you don't wake her" peter nodded texting Derek after his phone rang out
Y/n is in hospital and really sick, she's also pregnant, or did you already know is that why you ran off call me Derek when you get this I don't like being kept in the dark - Peter
Peter put his phone on the bed watching his beta and only real friend, he never wanted or thought she'd be a friend when he first met her. She was only a pawn to him someone to do his bidding or a scapegoat if any of them got caught, but after a few short weeks the was something about her loyalty and personality, stubbornness and determination Peter liked and quickly y/n became family. Lydia tapped on the door "do you want to go for a coffee" she asked him, Peter nodded getting up following the redhead. The pair chatted over coffee "Scott's sent Malia, stiles and Liam to find Derek" she sweetly said Peter laughed "I don't have much faith in that plan or combination" Lydia could clearly see the worry in his facial expressions and body language asks did he want to go back to y/n room.
You woke to find an empty room, feeling sick but not as bad as you had been feeling the past few weeks. You felt a buzz on the bottom of your bed seeing Peter's phone you pick it up, the was a message from Scott saying he was on his way back. Peter walked in delight to see you now up but froze when he saw the look of thunder on your face. "y/n what's wrong?" He asked in a very weary tone, you didn't answer but stood up finding you shoes putting them on without a speaking a word before walking to the door. Peter was about to stop you holding out his arm opening his mouth to speak, "don't you dare" you say pushing his phone hard into his chest, before walking out the door. Lydia looked at Peter with the same confused expression he wore, looking at his phone screen Peter saw what you had, the text to Derek "shit" he roared running out after you.
Peter finally court up with you in the parking lot, "y/n please let me explain" peter walked slowly towards you Lydia not far behind him. "explain what Peter, how you knew Derek had ran off and you didn't tell me, I thought I could trust you after the crap I got from the pack about how bad and evil you was, I truly believed you was honest with me" you started to sob wiping a stray tear from you face. Peter really didn't know what to say to you he rubbed the back if his neck looking down, with his lack of explanation you took a deep breath composing yourself again heading to the car "oh how did you know I was pregnant?" you asked Peter your voice was mean and cold, he looked up "same way I think Derek knows I heard it's heart beating since the day I moved back, when you gave me a hug before you threw up all over my shoes." he answered with a small hint of a smile.
Doing the math in your head it had almost been 3 weeks and he hadn't told you more annoyed then before you got in the car, Lydia went to call after you but Peter stopped her " let her go you don't approach a pissed off pregnant wolf unless you have a death wish" he warned. Once in the car you angrily reversed very close to peter, "follow me and I will kill you" you threatened your alpha before speeding out of the car park. Peter stood dumbfounded trying to think of a way to apologise or fix his mess and keep you from making yourself more ill. Scott and stiles pulled up minutes after y/n had left "where is she?" they asked, Lydia had filled them both in on everything they had missed. "What did Deaton say" Lydia asked "he's not sure but the is a type of virus it's thinks it could be but he also thinks it's a parting thing like when wolf mates are apart they can cause a physical illness to occur and with y/n being pregnant her hormones are making it worse we need to find Derek and y/n" Scott told them "so you think y/n is at the loft" stiles asked Peter, "she's got nowhere else to go" peter said sad. "well one of us needs to go and make sure she's okay" Lydia said, peter and Scott both looked at stiles, "what me why?" He asked nervous "me and Scott are werewolf and both alphas y/n we see us as a threat, Lydia you will over analyse things piss y/n off and get the brunt of her anger. Stiles your the best option we have" peter told them thinking he'd never say those words. Scott went to find Liam and the others to see if the is any sign Derek yet Lydia ran after him saying she'll help. They all said there goodbyes heading off in different directions.
Peter knew you better than anyone else, he also knew if he had returned to the loft he probably wouldn't leave alive, so he sent stiles to keep an eye on you. Stiles entered the loft to find you crying into Derek's pillow. He hugged you trying to calm you down Deaton words fresh in his mind "stiles no matter what happens keep y/n calm so the baby doesn't get stressed". Stiles got you a drink and with a sad smile finally asked the one question he didn't want to ask but had nothing else to say, "you okay" you glared at him "sorry stupid question" he said putting his head down. You felt bad he only wanted to know how you was, it was the Hales you were angry at not stiles you thought "I could be better but thanks for being here" you said back making him smile. "you and sour wolf eh" he said pointing at your stomach. The thought made you feel sick again and start to cry "why would he do this run off leaving me alone with his baby". Stiles held you close "maybe he doesn't know and Peter got it wrong" he told you trying to make you feel better. But you knew Derek if he hadn't left you then he would of called by now.
Peter not risking going back to the loft had nowhere to stay until he felt enough time had pasted for y/n to calm down. He decided to take a walk through the woods, something about the smell of the trees or the damp ground helped clear his mind. After walking for almost an hour it started to rain heavily, looking round to see where he was his old family home was closer then his car, sprinting off he was there in minutes. Opening the unlocked door he went to the burnt house, a noise from another room court his attention. In the living room a small fire was lit in the fireplace, the was creek from a floorboard but Peter didn't look in its direction. "we've been looking all over for you as far as calling London and Paris to see if anyone had heard from you, yet here you are hiding in the back garden" peter joked as Derek came into view. Derek's face was hardened and frustrated, "what are you doing here Peter" was all Derek said frozen on the spot a few steps away. "Well I'm kind of hiding from your pissed off crazy girlfriend before she kills me over you" he joked again looking at his nephew who didn't look amused. After a couple of seconds of silence Derek sat down with his head in his hands, "do you know?" Derek said not looking up. Peter let out a loud chuckle then very sarcastically said "everyone knows after y/n was to busy worrying about what had happened to you, she collapsed and ended up in the hospital where Melissa told her and the pack she's pregnant" peter added more of an angry sass to the word pregnant still annoyed his nephew didn't tell him, "how is she now, did she take it okay?"
Derek finally looked up waiting for his answer, " she's okay-ish she's at the loft,  stunned at first, then she saw the text I sent you and flipped, she hates me, you and most likely half of the town right now" peter told him. Derek groaned not knowing how or if he could fix all this. "so come on why did you run" peter asked this time normally and calm almost caring. "I didn't run I just needed to think" Derek said defensively "you ran, if your scared its okay" peter said placing his hand on Derek's shoulders rocking him a little. Derek felt sick knowing he'd hurt y/n "Im not scared the was something I needed to do check out" Derek answered . "what ever you say nephew whatever you say! but you need to go see her though, the vet thinks it's because you've left she's so ill" peter said rolling his eyes at the idea looking at Derek thinking he didn't look to healthy himself. "come on let's get out of here and back home" he said practically pushing Derek out the burnt out hale house.
They got back to Peter's apartment after Derek asked to go there instead of his loft, "so should I call y/n" peter said smirking waving his phone. Derek snatched it from him "no not yet". Peter smirked "so you did run from y/n! why?" He asked laughing, Derek rolled his eyes without answering thinking about the night as Peter correctly said ran from he's loft.
Derek watched the end of the movie y/n had fallen asleep half way through he picked her up, carrying her to bed. He laid next to her, as she snuggled into him. Derek woke up to get a drink downstairs he froze hearing y/n heartbeat his own and then a 3rd. He started looking round the loft quietly calling out for Peter in case he'd come back with saying. When Derek found nothing he went back to his room watching his girlfriend sleep, when heard the other heartbeat again, this time it was loader and coming from y/n. That's when it hit Derek she was pregnant, he paced round in cycles thinking and worrying but the beating was making it hard to focus. Getting dressed Derek went for a run to clear his head and think.
The ringing of Peter's mobile broke Derek from his memory. He looked at the caller ID "stiles, why is stiles calling you?" he asked his uncle. Peter grabbed the phone back answering it without a word to Derek. Peter listened to stiles and his face dropped "what's going on" Derek mouthed "okay we'll be there in 5 minutes" peter said before ending the call. "vets now" was all he said grabbing Derek by his jacket pulling him out the door. They both drove in silence and worried.
At the vets stiles pasted up and down anxious, as he waited. Deaton had instructed stiles on how to sedate you after nervously succeeding he watched as you slept. Peter and Derek ran into the lobby of the vets almost knocking stiles over. Stiles was stunned to see Derek stood there he was about to ask where he'd been but stopped when he saw the look on the sourwolfs face. He looked broken as he watched the love of his life sleeping in the metal table. "What happened?" Peter asked, stiles looked at him now feeling more anxious "well we was chilling in the loft when she said she was going to be sick, only it wasn't sick it was like blood" stiles said glancing over at Derek who was still looking though the small door window like he hadn't heard a word wishing he'd never left for a run. Peter coughed or him to continue "so after she stopped she said she had bed pains and was vomiting more blood I panicked and brought her here" Peter nodded grabbing the human boy lightly on the shoulder smiling. "you did good stiles thank you" Derek finally spoke. Peter nodded at the door for stiles to go "I'll go out and call Scott back" he said leaving the two wolfs alone. Peter stood next to him thinking of what to say. Inside the room you woke up but heard Peter, stiles and then Derek talk. Part of you wanted to jump up and scream at Derek for going, but something made you lay still. The pain in your body was bad scrunching your eyes and fists you tried to stay as still as you could. "I'm cursed" you heard Derek say, "what are you talking about" Peter answered. "you asked me why I ran" he said looking at his uncle. "Well your right I got scared, what happened was I heard the baby, I'm guessing like you did, when I went for a run I started thinking about family, everyone I've ever loved has died your in danger" "or is evil" Peter joked trying to lighten the mood. Derek didn't find the joke funny "I'm serious Peter your the only family I have left, and every time I think I'm happy something happens and disasters strikes" Derek was trying hard not to let the tears he had building up fall. "I'm better off staying far away. what if something happens to y/n or the baby I'd never forgive myself" his voice was trembling now. No matter how mad you had been, after hearing Derek almost crying worrying about the type of father he would be "really looks like staying away is helping" Peter joked. Hearing Derek makes you smile and remember the reasons why you fell in love with him.
Nether peter or Derek herd you get off the table weakly you walked to the door "then you should stay and make nothing dose then happen to us" you smiled at him holding your stomach. Derek took one look at you, the tears rolled down his face as he hugged you tight. "ouch easy pregnant girl in pain here" you joked Peter smirking at you both before he went to see where stiles was. When Derek let go, you smacked his arm as hard as you could "don't you ever, ever leave me like that again, I don't care of your having doubts you could have told me" you snap at him. Derek nodded with a sulking look "I'm sorry" he said low "you better be and you've still got some making up to do" you smile. He kissed you promising he will. Scott and the vet finally came back Peter moaning about how long they had been. When they walked in they looked at you "you look better" Scott said almost surprised. You stopped to think you had felt better "yeah the colour is really back in your cheeks now" stiles said. Deaton walked to his table taking a plant out of his bag mixing it up with some other foul smelling liquid. "I know you look better but drink this just in case" he asked as he handed you a Becker with mixture he'd just made. It tasted worse then it smelt "what is that" Derek asked watching you drink in disgust. "it's a an antibiotic mix safe for both mother and the baby but I really do believe the problem was you being missing" he said looking you over like he had in the hospital glancing up at Derek giving him a stern look. "well you don't have to worry about that again I'm not going anywhere from now on" Derek said putting his hand on your stomach for the first time, finally feeling happy he was about to be a dad, "I'll never leave my family again" you smiled at him kissing him. Soon after Deaton was happy you was well enough to go he have you some vitamins tell you to call back if you felt ill again. With that you, Derek and Peter returned to the loft planing on what names you call your baby.
