Absolutely fascinated with our pharmacist. Went to pick something up for rouke and he just did like. A drive-by vaccination. Asked me if I wanted the flu shot, I said yeah, started getting ready for it, then he just walked up and injected me within half a second, then went 'ok bring rouke in this weekend' and bounced. Didn't even hurt, barely had time to process it at all. I kind of wish I was him.
I'm not fucking joking when I tell you I saw this panel and literally started sobbing and crying over seeing my babygirl buying chocolate with just fucking quarters. This is the people's jason todd for real, thank you Juni Ba
just saw someone say Rick Riordan making a TV show is just as bad as anything JKR has done. BFFR you're comparing Rick Riordan trying to make his world more inclusive, changing some parts because of money/time constraints, or just making changes cus he thinks they're needed, to JKR being a terrible person!
Phil: I know from my sister, she has chronic pain. But I don't see it as that severe, if that makes sense? Like, my sister has fibromyalgia, right, so I know all about chronic pain and like, how it can like, vary and how bad it can be, how it's like completely like, dishabilitating, you can't fckin' move some days, and if you go outside and do anything sort of just like, "normal" you can be out of commission for like, weeks.
Phil: So I don't really consider it as that bad, I'm trying to equate it more towards like, "Oh, I really hurt myself, and now it hurts a bit, and it's going to get better," kind of, you know. That's why I didn't want to make that kind of direct comparison. But... yeah, I can see why you would think it would be just like that though, yeah. But it's not that severe– in my head, anyways, I don't consider it as severe as actual chronic pain.

Phil explains why he doesn't consider q!Phil having chronic pain, despite the damage the Ender King did to his wings.
I honestly think it's so interesting that people tend to pick Kaz when they're making a character aro/ace when in the books Tolya mentions having no interest in romance or finding a partner and Harshaw (who was sadly omitted from S2) is mentioned to only love fire.
Hi there! I had a thought come to mind and of course it’s mashle and especially about my favorite pair of brothers, wirth and orter. Like say orter is on a mission or whatever and he gets hit with like a reverse age spell or something and he gets turned into a little kid again and everyone is trying to get to come out of hiding and they need wirth to come get him. I kind of seem him kind of as a shy or quiet kid and is kind of stranger danger, but what do you think? It can even be vice versa and wirth becomes little wirth again. I dunno it’s something floating around my head and I need a fellow mutual. (Sorry if it’s so long)
Its okay !! I love long asks just go wild with it honestly (lots of text tho so I'm making my reply small font <3)
BUT YES!! Ive been thinking abt this for a while too, I also think orter would be a pretty quiet and cautious kid !! he is smart✨ I also think that he'd be shy and sweet around ppl he's unfamiliar w (if theyre not a threat to him), but with people hes closer to he might be a bit more snarky lol
Also i imagine that wirth is actually unfamiliar with this side of him because orter wasnt rly close to him growing up, and in his teenage-adult yrs hes never been on the other side of his brother's genuine wrath so (orter's sarcasm is reserved for his best friends and enemies)💀 he interacts with baby orter and hes like what the fuck who is this (<guy who has never been sassed by his older brother once)
Also I read this ask and desperately needed to draw it so take this too (ft. kaldo)
PSA that people need to stop spelling Damian’s name “Damien,” especially if you’re up in arms about him being whitewashed
Now I will say that I’m not fluent by any means in Arabic, but I have begun studying it to bring myself closer to my culture, and am thus now very familiar with the alphabet. And by learning the alphabet, I have learned that there is no “eh” sound in it, much less a vowel that directly translates to “e” when anglicized. The vowels in the Arabic alphabet are primarily “a,” “o/u,” and “i,” so it needs to be spelled Damian to be an accurate translation
In Arabic, it’s spelt داميان
That is to say: the letters d, aa, m, ii, aa, n
Hence, Damian
I would also like to ask that people please don’t equate being pale with whitewashing. I’m as Arab as Damian is but my family is on the paler side (edit: even with strong olive undertones and other ‘traditional’ features). And we’re still Arab
love kim dokja's non sequitur answer to people thinking he's into yoo joonghyuk: "i like women." okay? good for you?? quick question totally unrelated but have you heard of bisexuality.
