Danny couldnt feel his link anymore, his bond had completely dissolved when he died. Now even if him and his soulmate reconnected they could never revive their bond.

Danny still only felt numbness, well exept when he got electrocuted, hit with ghost hunting tech, or hurt with ecto plasma. Yeah not the best to feeling to only feel pain, but sometimes danny felt the pain was the only thing that kept him grounded.

It's been 3 years since he became phantom and 2 years since he became ghost king. And danny has learned a lot about being a ghost. Like 1) ghosts where suposed to still have their soulmate in death. The reson Danny aparntly didnt keep his bond was because he was rejected, at least that is what frostbite told him.

2) ghosts are very protective of their soul bonds and danny is no exception to this. He feels his core screaming for its other half every second of every day. Somedays the only thing keeping him going is his protection and space obsession. But still somedays it felt like he was going to go insane.

At one point he tried to order clockwork to tell him where his soulmate was so he could find him and try and convince him they could still be togeather even without the ties of their soul bond. He wanted to tell his soulmate he would do anything for them, he would protect him if he stayed with him no matter the cost.

"Danny?" Sam questions looking at him with concern "you good?". Danny blinked and nodded, they where currently in Danny's lair in the zone because after his parents found out about him being phantom they didnt take it well and let's say the GIW got involved.

"I'm fine sam, I just feel empty" danny says leaning back into his throne. "I understand danny, when the GIW blocked mine and tucker's bond it felt like my world was ripped away, it felt like my soul was in a void, I dont know how you are still sane" sam says sitting in her own throne to his right.

As a members of phantoms council she, tucker, jazz, even wes had their own thrones beside danny. "I'm not sure if I sould call myself sane, my morals have become very sewed to human standards" danny sighed. "Well you got rejected by your soulmate, died, got cloned by a frootloop, and got vivisected by your parents plus some. I'd say it's only fair your morals are fucked" sam states.

Danny chuckled "how is elle?" Sam inquired "oh shes good, in Rome right now" danny says happy to share what is going on with his daughter. Elle was made from his DNA, his ectoplasm, she is his daughter and one of the only reasons he hasn't gone off the deep end yet.

Danny held the goblet of ecto dejecto to his lips when he felt it. Cold and smooth metal in his hand. Danny froze "danny what's wrong?" Sam asked concerned. "Its cold" danny mumbled "what-" "sam I can feel the cold, the texter of the goblet, how-" danny questioned.

He stated at the goblet in his hand in amazement. Danny felt his core whirl in utter joy. "How?" Danny asked no one in particular.

Danny felt it. His bond was back strong and fresh, but that wasnt physicly possable. It goes aginst everything. His soulmate rejected him, he died whith the rejection, it is impossible for their bond to reform. So how is his bond back.

You know what. Danny doesn't care how. He has his other half again. And by the ancients he refuses to loose them again. "Sam tell the others I'm taking momentary leave. You and tucker will be in charge while I'm gone" danny orders and she nods without questions.

Danny rose from his throne. He will fine his soulmate. And nothing was going to stop him.

I have to spit this theory out before I go back to sleep, but there’s an interesting emphasis about ghosts in the latest book 7 chapter? Okay not really it was just a few lines ANDJXJDJXJ but that’s not the point- 🤣🤣

Malleus rationalizes Ortho “waking up” by transferring his data and soul into a different body to being like a ghost that’s left its body to be in another vessel.

Crowley has a very fascinating connection the ghosts and the undead overall. Not only does he turn into a ghost in the prologue with the use of a transmutation potion, the manga implies that he has some degree of control/summoning capabilities of the ghosts affiliated with Night Raven College.

The first Halloween event further clarifies that ghosts are so abundant at NRC (yet still an uncommon sight to the rest of the world) because the campus is teeming with magic- to the point that even non-mages can see them. A lot of the staff under Crowley’s employment are made up of ghosts (excluding teachers and Sam)- such as the cooks, and have been implied to have been working for him for many decades now, as in Crowley’s personal story, he can’t even remember when he hired the chef from how long ago it was. The second Halloween event then directly shows how ghost possession works, as many of the students get possessed with their personalities and eye colors changing. And then there’s the whole oh Phantom Bride event in general 👀

Edit: there’s also the Ghost Cameras, which Crowley describes that people back then feared the camera because the photos seemed like ghosts when popping out from the frame. The fact that the camera can “capture” a part of a persons soul is forever fascinating and the way it’s directly tied to ghosts 👀

I’ve been wondering if Crowley so readily has ghost transmutation potions so he can regularly travel to the Netherworld aka the ghost realm. Since his ties run so close with the campus ghosts, then it makes sense that he would have these potions for the Netherworld. But now with Malleus saying this…couldnt ghost!Crowley temporarily use someone as a vessel while under the effects of the potion or (*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)

…I volunteer as tribute ANDJXJDBD no but actually!! I know there’s a lot more canonical ghost lore than this and how they relate to Crowley, but my brain isn’t fully working right now 😭 But with all the latest emphasis of Crowley having duplicates- magical protections in his Special Lessons, and a virtual simulation of him in the Magic Assault Event…👀 There is indeed a slight possibility of his ghost potions returning. The scene in the prologue heavily suggests that Crowley has an impressive control over his ghost form, as Grim is shocked at how Crowley suddenly speeds up- even faster than the actual Ramshackle ghosts. I feel like *someone* in general being used as a vessel feels more plausible every day…

And actually, we’ve been seeing recent representations of the spirits/ghosts of dead, such as Phantom Ortho & Ortho’s spirit, and the Knight of Dawn. General Lilia in his dream also calls out for Meleanor and Levan, asking them if they’re watching him and if he could join them, before slipping into darkness.

I still don’t understand how a ghost potion actually works ANXIJDHD- does Crowley just temporarily die for a moment or is it all just the superficial appearance and powers of a ghost without actually being a ghost? 💀 But in any case, I wonder if ghosts will be an ongoing theme, as both Book 6 and 7 have been emphasizing the loss of loved ones, so perhaps there is some connection here.

Idk it’s just very twisted wonderland that these characters have been going through a journey of acceptance at the loss of their loved ones and family, and Crowley is over here having the undead under his control, and is essentially “cheating death” by just casually switching from being a ghost to being alive 💀 and if the Great Seven portraits in his office can actually talk (a portrait in the prologue claims that why shouldn’t portraits be able to speak as long as they have a mouth), it’s essentially false representations of the dead speaking to him lol. So him potentially wielding his ghost form and using someone as a vessel technically isn’t that far off from what he’s currently doing in canon- the themes of death are so integral to his character yet he simultaneously treats these abilities as if it’s trivial 🤔 Anyway Crowley cheating death is foreshadowing to levan /j 🤪

Damian brother is the ghost king

So Ra made damian and danny fight to the death for the tital of hair, but danny couldnt hurt damian and let him kill him, damian is traumatised by it. Ect;

On dannys end he lived has amnesia and lived with the fentons. Danny phantom happens, dannys parents accept who he is, he becomes ghost king ect;

What about the batfam, Ra al goul and talia al goul are all trapped in the ghost zone by a villian and have to work together to get home.

Theres a lot of fighting and yelling because of their past, damian has already told his family about Danal so when Ra mentions him as a jab to damian everyone looses their shit, talia included.

They find out to leave they need an audience with the newly crowned ghost king, and that phantom is their best chanse of getting home. They decide to suck it up and get along until they get home, then will proceed in killing eachother.

Ra has a plan to betray the batfam and become allies with the ghost king for power, talia knowes this so she warned bruce, who told the others, and now their all aware of his plan and are semi- racing to the gjost king so Ra dosent get an allie THAT powerful.

Then when their at phantoms keep their greeted by servant ghosts who tell them that the king is out, but is on the way. They decide to wait inside phantoms keep.

They all get in a fight again and just when bruce is about to punch Ra the doors open, Ra thinks this will be a good way to rurn the tabels and show the king that the bats arent trust worthy.

But when they turn they see, danal.

He has inverted colours, and is a little older. But its Danal.

Talia and damian are ready to cry. Ra's in shock that his plan has little to no chance of working. And the bats are curious why the Al gouls are acting this way.

Then damian lest out a broken whiesered "Danal?"

Danal tilts his head to the side in confusion and says " close, but you can call me danny, now who might you be? And how'd you get all the way to the ghost zone without a way back?"

Danal looks at them with no recognition, hes confused amd curious,.but dosent know them.

Simon 'Ghost' Riley knows a lot of things. How to slice up a man without too much noise. How to get information out of people. He fought battles that nobody should have see. He won fights- his opponent dead and not even burried

Simon 'Ghost' Riley is a beast. His body is ripped, muscles covering every inch of his skin just like his scars. They weren't pretty. No Throphy's. he would be naive to brawl about the marks.

They are warnings. For him.

Warnings that he almost died several times. That life isnt forever. He knew that better than most people on earth- and that made him dangerous.

Simon Ghost Riley is feared. Soldiers shit their pants if he raises his voice while combat trainings- spatting venomous words with his heavy accent. Still he is respected by everyone. He is a walking Monster. Ripping enemys apart as if they were sticks- cracking through their bones and minds- just having his mission in mind.

Simon Ghost Riley isn't handsome. Well he is in his own way. Scars litter across his face, his nose bridge crooked- a reminder to protect his face more in combat. His stern and cold eyes. Blond short hair and a bit of a stubble.

Neverthless you loved him

Simon Ghost Riley wasn't one to talk often. His low voice sometimes grunted in response when he had to answer a question. A groan that sometimes slipped past his lips after he slumped down into his bed, wounds freshly bandaged and taken care of.

Simon Ghost Riley was a rough man. Somebody that is a bit rough around the edges, sometimes saying hurtful things that would hurt people. Hurt you.

But you loved him neverthless

Simon 'Ghost' Riley was a good man even though he isn't showing it. He fought for his land, saved his teammates so often-he stopped counting to be honest. He didnt care. Didnt care that people would look at him in fear- are scared of him. He knew that he only needed you and his team. Nothing more.

You loved that trait of his

Simon 'Ghost' Riley loved you more than every other person on this damn planet. He loved the way your eyes shined. Loved the way you laughed- lived- The way you were breathing peacfully next to him. He wanted to grow old with you and that scared him to death. He never was so in love with somebody. He would die on the spot if it meant saving you.

But

Simon 'Ghost' Riley failed to show you his love, dumping you, neglecting you, lashing out on you- not having the ability to show you the love you deserved. he cursed his mind, that he is the way he is. His heart clenched while you cried- but not comforting you. letting you alone as he had to control himself not to bang his head into the wall till it bled. He was scared that you would leave if he opened up. He was a coward when it came to love

And in the end.

Simon 'Ghost' Riley lost you on some fatal Misson.

"I love you, Si." you smiled weakly- shots and screams errupting around you but neither of you cared as your body went limp. You knew it must be the end. Breathing getting shallower till it completely stopped. His arms holding you, tears stinged in his brown eyes. "I" he croaked but stopped himself. He couldnt say it back. He wanted to. but he couldnt. He couldnt tell you how much he loved you.

Not a single time

You died that day, laeving Simon Ghost Riley alone on this cursed planet.

Simon 'Ghost' Riley never was one to talk much.But Oh how he wished that he talked just a little bit longer with you, sharing his feelings with you- if he hadnt been such a coward. Too scared to tell you his past- even though you shared everything with him.

Simon 'Ghost' Riley felt like the most horrible person on the planet. Letting you die in his arms- after you took a fatal hit for him- and not even saying 'i love you too' back. He was a coward. Too scared to love. Crying his eyes out that night and wanting you back in his arms.

But all he could do was bringin you fresh lily's everyday and cry at your grave- in hope you would see him and forgive his actions.

Neverthless you loved Simon with all his flaws, but he couldnt return you all the love you deserved.

Im surprised so many ppl think that belos's vision of caleb in for the future is actually his ghost. Death is pretty final in toh and theres never been any talk of being able to speak to the dead via ghosts. Even the ghostly spirits used in oracle magic are glowy mindless monsters and dont look like someone who could have actually been alive at one point.

I personally think its much more meaningful if caleb and the other golden guards werent ghosts but just imagined by belos. Hes been trying to bring back caleb ever since he killed him and it kind of defeats the purpose if calebs ghost has actually been there the whole time. Each grimwalker he kills is a tragedy. A poor kid with his life ruined and then cut short bc belos couldnt heal hundreds of years ago. They were never able to find a better life for themselves and many died without knowing why belos killed them. For them to get closure with the previous golden guards and caleb after death takes away from the tragedy of it all.

And ofc theres something very emotional about belos imagining everything. Whether its because he feels guilty over what hes done to caleb and the guards, or if he just misses them sometimes, or whatever, that emotion is so strong that he can never stop seeing them. Whether caleb would have forgiven phillip after all that doesnt matter anymore. Phillip sure didnt know his brother well enough by the end to know. Same with the golden guards, but belos never cared to know their feelings in the first place. But belos thinks that they must be furious at him. Thats why caleb and the guards appear the way they do: gaunt and disheveled and silent because belos knows what he did without them saying anything.

Calebs story has been lost to time. Most of the golden guards have been forgotten too. In fact not many people ever differentiated between them in the first place. But belos? No matter how hard he tries, belos will NEVER let himself forget.

story under cut!

TL;DR - He was found by a clan and taken in. When he grew up he became a perm den-dad, and was the main caretaker of two kids. One of which became obsessed with his own ambition, and was killed by the second. Into his old age he became very sick and there was nothing anyone could do to save him. After his death he became a ghost whom guided patrols to lost kits.

Hiddenfang was found as a kitten by several warriors when they went to investigate a barking dog. He was wedged behind a wood pile where the dog couldnt reach him, but he could hardly go anywhere. The patrol chased off the dog and took newly dubbed Hiddenkit (named after how he was found) back to their clan.

He was raised by all the clan's queens and den-dads and had a plethora of parental figures. He always looked up to them and held every one of them to an extremely high light.

As an apprentice he was proficient in hunting and fighting, no cat ever doubted his ability, but he never lost his fascination of raising kits. He constantly would visit the nursery and play games with them throughout his apprenticeship.

By the time he was meant to become a warrior, he declared he would rather spend his days raising the clan's young (He was named Hiddenfang for his protruding fangs, a bit ironic and a source of playful teasing from his friends). He would still hunt and fight when needed, but instead of patrols he spent the bulk of his day playing with and teaching kits.

Eventually throughout his career he became primary caretaker of two kits, Lightningkit and Poolkit. Both equally ambitious, the adopted brothers were an unstoppable pair throughout apprenticeship, and Hiddenfang couldn't be prouder.

Unfortunately as the two grew older into warriorhood, Poolmink began giving into his ambition in a rather... dark way. His desire for power consumed him, and eventually led to a face off between him and Lightningstorm. Lightningstorm did win, but it cost Poolmink his life.

Hiddenfang did all he could to comfort Lightningstorm while he himself mourned his lost child, but it would take many moons to move past the grief and guilt.

But everyone finds a new normal someday. Life found a new flow. For a long time after their lives went on without too much tribulation.

Until Hiddenfang began getting older. At some point he caught some odd illness that none of the medicine cats knew how to cure. Its suspected there was some form of poisoning caused by twolegs, but they never found out.

It wasn't too noticeable at first, but Hiddenfang began loosing a lot weight and his breathing started getting shallower. Not too long after he was unable to get up, and was confined to the medicine den. There wasn't much they could do but make him comfortable. Lightningstorm visited him everyday, until their final goodbyes.

Now Hiddenfang never believed much in StarClan, but they did offer him a rank among them. But as much as he wanted to see his son again, Hiddenfang refused. He instead wished to, at least for a while, remain as a ghost in the living world. He changed his name to "Song of the Lost" and guided warrior patrols to lost kits, so they might have a chance at a life just as he did. He most often takes the form of a weasel, but occasionally returns to feline form.

He plans to join StarClan one day. But for now he has a role to fulfill. He is happy.

you know, as if it wasnt already boring enough that both link and zelda got back to their 'perfect' physical selves without any consquences from all that happened, the fact that zelda doesnt even remember anything either is just adding insult to injury

although it was also a lil disappointing at the end of botw that zelda didnt age even a little bit or had any other physical change at least she was conscious during the time she sealed calamity ganon in the castle and it overall feels less illogical

when you get the mastersword back in totk you get a cutscene of zelda with it after she had already transformed which kinda .... is weird? she seemed pretty awake there, and it being right after transforming is strange since the mastersword was already restored in that cutscene, i would expect it to be a slow progress- that said .. it also seemed like her soul was doing pretty fine, unlike how mineru said that you lose your soul when you do the dragon thingy; i guess it could be that that was jsut a thing that was believed without knowing if its true but ... why even mention it then, just to dangle some consequence in front of us only to reveal there wasnt any danger actually?

also someone (i think) commented once that zelda being turned back in that weird way was meant to be that she got time reversed .. which ... okay??? the teleport to that weird nakey floating dimension is still a weird choice to me (yes i know its probably the spirit realm or soemthing and thats why the ghosts that went poff already were there but it still feels off to me) .. aynway, i guess it was meant that ghost sonia + rauru did the give power to link thing that sonia and zelda did to rauru when he magic laser blasted all those poor moldoras (and never does it again ... why not magic laser blast away gan instead he was pretty openly standing on that rock problem solved hfldshnflsnjlfs) and that time reversed the dragon thing .... but aside from the symbol for the time thingy lighting up theres no indication for it if i remember right? its just some awkward looking magic beam blast save zelda edition (tm) why not at least include the clear tök sound that goes off when you use time reversal in game? would it have been both more clear AND cool if link was still standing on her head, the world gets that spirit realm filter like it did in skyward sword to indicate that theres a shift, then have the ghosties appear and let you as the player select time thingy and then her, ghosties give you their energy and the sound of time reversal goes off, the schemes of the world below goes black and white and start to shift; you dont need to literally show the path zelda had been flying over those thousands of years, but make the world a blurry mess and let the music speed up so you feel like you are actually doing something and then she turns back maybe near the temple of time (zonau edition) so its near the place where she was last human, the filters and ghosts disappear and whoop you got your epic falling scene ... but i would like to have zelda still remember it, otherwise it just feels .. weirdly manipulative? like lets reverse your brain and memory zelda no dont worry i meant good lmao trust me

that is if it was meant to be read as a time reversal on her .... but then i question why it wasnt used beforehand? couldnt you have done that to ganondorf even? if sonia and rauru can give you enough energy as ghosts then why couldnt sonia reappear after getting one-punche-mand-to-death or when you fight gan in the present time? is the excuse that he was so miasmafied or deep below the earth that the spirit world thing isnt in reach? couldnt you have done it after he did the dragon thing then? or is it a one time thing so they saved it for zelda? but then why didnt sonia get her ghost ass back there immediately after she died and time revrsed gan getting the enigma stone? ALSO if it was a time reversal on zelda where did the stone go??? shouldnt it be time reversaled out of her in some way to undo the dragon thing? where it go?? also to time reversal a body gotta be different to getting her soul back?? or was it just never gone so what mineru said about the risk was literally jsut so it seemed more tragic when it really wasnt??? like the apparent possibilty that the time reversal CAN be used on living things and not just objects makes me question it all even more?

(also was it meant to imply that rauru somehow through his arm got them both into the ghosty dimension?? bc how did they get there, and why cant they do it again? if spirits are fine over there even if they already went poof then why act so sad about mineru fking off like that? just go back there and say hi? njfkdnjkdj)

like im sorry i cant help but overthink all of this, with every supposedly explanation i just question it more?? i dont want to sound like one of those guys that go -OoHoh there was no clear text explanation for it so i dont knooooOOOOoOw i dont know how to use ma braiiin it makes no seeeensee- or maybe i am? i dont need an explanation for everything, in fact i LIKE when there are unexplained things, but it still has to feel .. whole? there are unexplained things that make a world and story feel more mystical without taking you out of it, but theres also a way to leave things both over AND underexplained with it seemingly contradicting itself or it just trusting that you take it all at face value and never think about it that it just feels off, the the first big moment where i felt SO taken out of the game i felt actually stunned was when i was at the shrine of life and it wasnt there anymore, at all, the cave shaped like a vague imitation of it, i felt like the game was laughing at me for being so distraught about it, like what you remember and care about the game this new one was supposed to be a sequel to? lmao, anyway theres a puddle of healing water :)))

idk i just ... if its not obvious already zelda is my special thingy so of course i overthink and criticize it in ways that may seem insane to the average person, but thats just how i work i guess :/

I dont get people who hate john at face value dont at least acknowledge that the man was screwed from the start. He was brainwashed into love. John and Mary didnt love each other and only through the force of Heaven were they able to be together. The relationship was a mess as two beings that didnt want to be together were forced into it against their will without their knowledge.

They were puppets for fate, a device to get what heaven wanted. They were both victims of free will. Because they had little in that way.

John became obsessed with revenge, he was a vetern who had a family and lost it ad now had to become a father in a world where everything he thought made sense no longer does. Demons, ghosts, monsters -they are all real and he has to deal with this after one of them took mary, and he has to raise two boys alone.

John loved mary after her death because probably he felt free of the chain of heaven to a relationship he originally didnt want but also he was marked to be with her and he clearly couldnt cope without her.

Is John a good father, not by any means but its clear very few hunters have children unless they come from a family that has for generations. John knew nothing and was working from the ground up.

I just wished people acknowledged that John is likely a truanatised man who is on his own for a lot of it.

A Hunter Izuku AU could easily lead to a Big Sis Himiko and Dad Snipe. Himiko because you know Izuku would investigate rumors of a "vampire" at a local school, only to find a girl a year older than him with a blood based transformation quirk being abused for said quirk. So Izuku would do what they do best: slay monsters AKA the Toga's. And Dad Snipe is self explanatory, he could easily be an American Hunter who moved to Japan, and immediately gets attached to Izuku after seeing them at the Entrance Exam.

YES YES YES.

Izuku’s life has been defined by blood and death for as long as he can remember. He didn’t get to play like the other kids did. Didn’t get to mock fight with sticks or play hero. He was drilling with knives and learning Latin. With his quirk he was put in the field young. He can see what Jo one else could. Could point them in the direction of actual monsters without having to worry about quirks making innocents get caught in the crossfire. He was held down and tattooed over his heart at seven because he would have been the best choice for possession.

He is a soldier in a war that no one knows is being fought. He goes where he’s needed and kills what needs to be killed.

So when all signs point to a vampire he goes.

(He meets a girl, ghost pale and weak, mad with hunger. He sees her skin bubble and shift into a boy, the dead boy that had brought him here. He knows that the monster here isn’t her but whoever did this to her.)

Himiko loves him for who he is, in the quiet moments between hunts. Reminds him that he is allowed the softer things in life. Promises to hide the fact that “he” doesn’t feel like it sits right in their shoulders and calls Izuku her sibling in private.

She is the one that argues for Izuku to go to UA so they have a better chance at finding the monsters that hide in the public eye.

Snipe knows the signs. Knows the look of a Hunter and what the battered iron and silver rings on this kids hand mean.

Izuku Midoriya. Quirkless.

(A lie. One of necessity. They couldn’t advertise to the world that they were the Hunter of monsters. Couldnt let them know that they could see through the masks the monsters wore to fit in.)

Snipe sees the too thin look of the kid, the fresh bruising around their throat, the TATTOO too deep and scarred and faded in a way that suggests age on their chest after one of the robots tears their shirt with a errant shot and he knows.

Old school hunters still kept it in the families. Crafting knives out of kids too young. Forcing them to walk with blood on their little hands and robbing them of the life that should have been promised to them.

He calls in a social worker that night and ends up with a daughter and a child.

   ‘tim’ felt safe, he felt warmth surrounding him. he didn't understand, was he dead, he doesn't feel dead. ‘tim’ opened his eyes to find himself in a fluffy bed.

He sat up swiftly in a panic, his hand flying to his shoulder. 'Tim' hissed under his breath as he felt his bandaged up shoulder.

"Good your up" a guy around 'Tim's' age spoke as he walked into the room. 'Tim' snapped his attention to the guy. His eyes glowed Lazarus green and what should have been the whites where black, his skin a pale green, his hair snow white and wispy.

He had long pointed ears and sharp fangs. He was wearing a sorta black jumpsuit with a white D on the chest. He also had a cape that looked to be made of stars.

Above his head was a crown made of aroura and a ring of light on his middle finger. 'Tim' couldnt help but stare, the man before him was incredibly handsome. "Um where am I? Did I die? Who are you?" 'Tim' spoke. The man walked over to 'Tim's' bedside.

"Firstly your basically in the ghost equivalent of a hospital, two no your not dead, and three my name is phantom, but you can call me Danny if you wish" the guy-Danny says with a gentle smile. 'Tim looked him in the eyes "if I'm not dead then why am I in a ghost hospital?".

Danny let out an amused hum "well before I answer that can you tell me what you remeber?".

'Tim' tore his gaze away from Danny's, he is unsure if it's safe to say anything about himself or what happened.

Danny saw 'Tim's rejection to the question and sighed. "how about I tell you what I know" Danny says and sits on the bed.

'Tim's eyes drifted back to danny. "I found you in green glowing goo, with a bullet hole in your shoulder and a stab wound in your gut" danny says and 'tim' felt is body go rigid in realization.

'Tim' pushed himself slightly away from danny "how did you get my body from the Lazarus pits? I know I should have sunk to the bottom". Danny snorted "you summoned me that's how".

'Tim' tilted his head and arched his eyebrow "summoned? What do you mean? Whst are you?". 'Tim' couldnt help being inquisitive, he may not be the Tim but he still had his originals memories.

Danny smirked at 'Tim' flashing his fangs. The man grabbed 'Tim's' hand and brought it to his lips, laying a gentle kiss on his knuckles.

Danny's lips where cold, but not in an uncomfortable way, but in s way that felt pleasing. "Well my dear, let me properly introduce myself. I am danny phantom king of the infinity realms, the balance between life and death, and holder of the stars. And you summoned me with the offering of the blood of a hero and made a deal with me to save your life" danny says.

"Deal" 'tim' inquired. Danny smirked and leaned in close to 'tim' "yes in exchange for saveing your life you would be mine". 'Tim' leaned closer to danny till their noses touched "in what way am I yours".

Danny pulled back and tilted his head, far more than any human could. And smirked at tim flashing his fangs " in what ways do you want to be mine". 'Tim' laughed awkwardly and joked "when's the wedding". "In 3 days" Danny answered without hesitation.

'Tim' sputtered " I WAS JOKEING!!!" "I wasnt" Danny laughed. "Anyway love I never did get your name" Danny says proping himself on his elbow.

'Tim' wasnt sure how to answer. He wasnt Tim, it didnt feel right using his name. "Uh Drake" 'tim' stuttered.

Wait no, that's so stupid why would he say drake! But then again 'Tim's' original did go by 'the drake' at one point sooo mabey they both arnt very smart.

part eight: daniel

disclaimer: daniel is a cool villain. that i will say. however i dont like him as a character and i am not justifying the fact he has attempted to murder children like 4 times now. once was successful (his old summer camp). im not justifying cults or their behaviors, nor the murder of children or anyone in general, cults are fucked up. i'm just headcanoning a fictional villain and his fictional cult. this isnt to make light of real life cults and the tragedies that go on inside them. my headcanons are to expand on established canon and make the characters more fleshed out in the way i see them. i wish i didnt have to say this but once i got chewed out for saying daniel was my favorite villain so you know

daniel was born and raised in the cult of zemoog (is that how you spell it??????????????? i forgot) and genuinely believes it as reality, if you couldnt tell. he isnt a cult leader but rather an ordinary cultist sent out on a 'mission' to make zemoog proud and indoctrinate others.

the cult of zemoog has rankings. the eye is the cult leader, the mind are the cultists allowed to live with the mission of indoctrinating others into the cult and eventually allowing them to 'ascend', and the heart are the 'basic' cultists that drink the kool-aid and die without any further purpose other than to please zemoog

the cult of zemoog focuses on indoctrinating children rather than adults (though they do indoctrinate adults from time to time) because children are more impressionable, and they "feel children are more pure of heart and easier to bring to salvation"

i like to hc that daniel, jasper, gwen, and david were all friends as kids, and i have an au where they grow up as friends. in this au, daniel leaves the cult because one of the main reasons people believe in the cults are because they have no external support system, thus causing them to rely only on the cult. in canon (even with the hc as childhood friends), daniel is still fucked up. i just like giving villains interesting backstory relationships with characters we know. i also like to think that in canon with this hc, daniel recognizes david and gwen, but they don't recognize daniel. after all, he looks terrifyingly different, what with the creepy stare and smile, the pure white outfit, the bleached hair.

daniel as a kid had dirty blonde hair, a bit lighter than jasper's! he bleached it to become "more pure" in the eyes of zemoog

daniel is too far gone as an adult to awknowldge that zemoog isnt real, no matter what proof hes shown.

daniel freezes to death in antartica. since ghosts are established to exist in camp camp as well as an afterlife, daniel has a mental fucking breakdown because everything he believed his entire life never came true like he was promised. as a ghost, he believes the only reason he hasnt seen zemoog is because he failed him by not building the temple in antartica. he will spend the rest of his afterlife crumbling and desperately trying to please zemoog to no avail.

daniel had a dog, once, as a kid. a pomeranian. eventually, he had to sacrifice it, for zemoog did not approve of earthly attachments.

daniel was seperated from his parents at a young age for the same reason- a disapproval of earthly attachments.

once when daniel was younger, he tried to run away from the cult after he was punished for doing something or other wrong. he failed to escape and was forced to repent.

the cult of zemoog does not approve of love (again, it is an earthly attachment). daniel was never allowed to feel anything as a kid, not familial love, platonic love, romantic love, any of it. he grew up like that, and eventually, he viewed any sort of attachment as weak. it's why he perceved david as weak. he loved everything far too much to defeat daniel, surely. but it was the attachment david held over his campers, over life, that allowed him to beat daniel. if only daniel were able to see it instead of convincing himself it was nothing more than dumb luck.

in the cult, every winter, the children would be forced to fight each other to see who was worthy of continuing to live and spread zemoogs word, and who was to be sacrificed. at the age of 18, daniel had claimed 10 lives. at 24 (his age during camp cult), he'd claimed 27.

under everything about daniel, there is a sadness. he preaches about the cult being able to make you happy, take all your worries away, but there is a void in daniel's heart that he'll never be able to fill. so much was taken from him, and he was only taught to take from others the same way. he has never been happy, and never will, not truly.

in his early life, daniel was haunted by the ghosts of children who he watched be sacrificed. as an adult, he was haunted by those he'd killed. purple guy type shit

ok i overall did like greywaren a lot!!! but i feel like 4 major things that were dissatisfying to me. lmk what u think

1) i wasnt really a fan of the disembodied ronan narration. felt like a weird way to have us experience some really important scenes. not sure what wouldve been better since we couldnt have no ronan pov in the ronan trilogy (though it wouldve definitely increased suspense). i guess it also makes sense with the ronan is a mysterious ley line entity reveal but still not a great structural choice to me

2) similarly, again i liked the flashbacks but i’m not a fan of memory dumping as a way to transmit info to a character. it eliminates all of the emotional conversations and weight for a character (declan) learning these crucial revelations. it was cool that we read these memories and those ended up being what declan received but still. and then suddenly he’s come to terms with all the shit we read two books about.

3) i feel like all of the misunderstood deaths cheapened the grief the characters experienced in the book. like i didnt want those characters to actually die but it was kinda frustrating for this to happen multiple times in one book, and for all the despair to be for nothing. we couldve at least gotten more declan- ronan emotional interactions over matthew death.

4) declan in the first half of the book was good but the rest of his arc (aside from the marriage) was dissatisfying. he couldve come to terms with the reality of his childhood without fully forgiving niall. and it was strange for him to miss out on the events of the conclusion. it seems that hes still doing some sort of magical artifact work which i didnt want for him :/ go work in a museum king

game theory time! game 1: doors (tw:dr#gs and spoilers)

alright, i mentioned doing this in the past and ill keep my word. ill start off with doors because yes lets get into itttttt!!!!!

ok, so if you dont know about doors, its a very interesting horror game involving doors! some rooms have keys you have to find, some have puzzles, and some if you arent careful lead to death, yay! its very well made and isnt like those trashy horror games you see like those escape obbies with jumpscares. the game can be played with a group of 4 in a public server, but 20 max if a private server. you can go alone though. in doors, theres several entities that try to kill you in cold blood. some are guaranteed to come due to assigned rooms, others come for sure because theyre too common to not happen once, and some are rare to get. theres also several supplies you can buy or find to help you such as: the lighter, flashlight, pills, band aids (can only be found), batteries (for the flashlight, can only be found), lock pick, room key (cant be bought), painting (found in puzzle rooms), library books (found in room 50), code for the door (found in room 50), and the electrical room key (found at door 100). i have theories on literally everything so no more talking! remember the entities i mentioned? lets get into the most common one, rush. how to tell if rush is quite easy: flickering lights, 2+ closets in the room, hearing lights breaking far away or noises running at you. being able to hear him gives you a chance to survive. while in certain rooms hiding a certain way helps you survive still, hiding under a bed or in a closet is the most secure (yes, theres a challenge to not use closets or beds in doors, and yes it can be done with a bit of luck). needless to say, its quite easy to survive rush. speaking of closets... hide! hide hangs out in closets and is a way to not allow people to camp closets. stay in the closet too long (or under the bed) and you get text on your screen. dont listen to the text, and you'll be pushed out and lose some health (hide is not at door 50 or 100, so no need to worry about him there). however, hide is very bitchy at... ambush! ambush is like the brother of rush, but ambush is 6x faster and comes back. he'll run back into the room 2-6 times (dont be scared by this! i mean once he runs in, second he goes out!). this does mean staying in closets the whole time is how to live, right? wrong! after hide pushes you out, theres a timer to go back in. to survive, go in when hes there, wait to see if he rebounds (you'll still hear him if hes going to), and go back in if you hear him coming back. i forgot to mention: the only difference in looking for if ambush is coming or rush is the noises (their noises are very different btw). ambush is very rare to get early game, and most likely will come around rooms 70-90. on the topic of rare monsters to get in runs... halt! halt is very rare but you'll be able to tell from the room before. the lights will flicker, but rush or ambush wont come. when you enter the next door then, you'll be transported to halts hallway. ill be honest, when i played at first, i couldnt survive him, it was just too hard. however, i learned how. while going forward, glitching effects will appear on your screen telling you to run away. afterwards, a ghost like figure starts coming closer. dont turn away from the ghost, but start walking backwards. when its gone, keep going forward. keep doing this until your out the hallway. thats really all i got on halt. another rare monster i can talk about is... jack! he has a chance of coming out of numberless doors or closets! he doesn't kill you at all, but he does jump scare you. in the next room, it'll look red and any windows would have blood red rain. it basically looks like a murder room.

im getting lazy so im just gonna do the rest in here. screech appears in the dark without any lights (it makes a noise to show a dark room), timothy can jump out at you whenever you open a drawer, guiding light happens in dark rooms if it thinks you need help, figure happens in room 50 and 100, shadow is very rare and doesnt do shit, window can be found in the lobby and sometimes if you look at the windows quick enough, glitch happens if you glitch out, eyes takes your health if you look at it, and seek has fire music and chases you at a random door between 35-40. so whats the theory? i wont get big into in on this post but ill reblog when i feel it and shit. the pills i mentioned? they're drugs, and the monsters arent actually real or theyre people who are hiding out in this abandoned hotel. no regular pills make you speedy like how the pills do, and it just can kinda make sense with all the crazy shit. anyways bye ill reblog laterrrrr

I've mentioned this a couple times without really going into it, but basil doesnt talk much. im not really sure where that idea came from, i was just drawing her with her black eyes and there was something about her face that made me think shes quiet. she can talk, and she does when she needs to, but not much past that. i hesitate to call it selective mutism, since from what i can tell thats classed as a childhood anxiety disorder, and this is a trauma thing. but its for sure more of a mental block than a concious choice. i need to develop the exact source of it a bit more, but its something like this:

her death struck her speechless, understandably. what do you say in response to that? she didnt have the answer to any questions or a response to anything said. she couldnt find the words to articulate her anger, but it didnt matter, because beetlejuice already knew why she was mad, and the wordless yelling suficed. and then the maitlands were asking what she wanted to do with her body, and she didnt know. and then when she did know, she was certain of it, and she didnt want to hear any input because her mind was made up. she didnt feel the need to explain, because she was doing it only for herself. she only briefly told the maitlands she was leaving, because she didnt want them to ask her to stay, she didnt want to let them pick apart her reasoning. i guess it all sort of boils down to the idea that shes out on her own, alone, and shes determined to fend for herself now, and if she doesnt let anyone know where shes going or what shes doing or why they cant argue.

and on the topic of why basil is the way she is, i said when i talked about her needing to be more Creature that i could go into the why, and so i will now. in short: she is very visible now.

i dont think her ghost emerged looking quite as demonic as she does by the time she meets skye. the black eyes i think will be from the start, but her nails arent really claws yet, and she only has like maybe little nubs of horns and a stub of a tail. maybe not even that. they grow though, because she wants to be seen, and she wants to be seen for what she is. she wants beetlejuice to see what he did to her, what he turned her into, and she wants ghosts she encounters to know that shes dangerous and should be taken seriously. her original form, a sickly kid with valves in her arms, is very obviously a dead bleed breather. and depending on who she encounters that gets her either disrespected or pittied. she doesnt want either of those. im not saying she makes a concious effort to look more demonic, but her form shifts to line up with how she wants to be seen. most ghosts cant do that, aside from some distortion abilities they stay how they die, but as a demon shes more changeable.

BACKGROUND

june 16 1982

kai was born to yoon minjun & baek seoyun in vancouver, canada. he was a very energetic and happy child. one of his earliest memories was getting hot wheels for christmas when he was about 5, he cherished them, ever since then he’s had a deep love for cars. when he was about 12 his parents divorced, he was always and forever a mommas boy so he was on her side for the divorce even if he couldnt quite understand what was happening.  once he got into highschool he didn’t put much effort towards his studies, he simply didn’t have any interest and mostly found himself skipping in the autoshop garage of his school, just watching everyone else working and picking up some new tips and tricks on the way. he made a few friends who were in those classes, one of those friends being the one to introduce him to the concept of street raising, he fell in love immediately.  to be continued …
