On The Topic of Dragon Hoards...

Zhongli, no matter how convincingly he may wear his human disguise, is and always has been a dragon at heart.

And he, like most dragons, has a tendency to hoard things.

It's easy not to notice right away, since he tends to keep his belongings tucked away, but once you take note, it's hard to stop seeing them.

Primarily, it's sentimental items, things that have been made for him or gifted to him by those he loves, but once you two have been together a while, you notice that he is definitely giving your gifts preferential treatment.

If you were to look carefully, you'd notice that he's carefully preserved everything you've given him, from letters to meaningless little trinkets, even a scrap piece of paper you drew a diagram on to help get a point across over lunch.

A dragon will hoard things that they deem to be precious and valuable - in this case, the items are all extraordinarily memorable to Zhongli, tied in with the stories of those he cares about. Over time, he adds more and more items relating to you, it's a little sweet, really.

However, if you were to ask Zhongli what the most valuable item in his hoard is, he'll give you a warm, fanged smile and say something along the lines of "Why, it's you, of course, my dear."

Is there any saved something you have which needs context, and that you definitely could write a whole post essay about, and maybe even wanted to, if someone had only asked or only the opportunity had arisen?

And if so, would you like to use this ask as a perfect excuse to do so~? ;)

One time I conceptualized a 1st year sleepover at Ramshackle event type thingy. They’ve had them before but what can i say— im a sucker. It’s was more so catered specifically towards things involving my MC and their specific issues, but, for brevities sake— it involved trying to cheer up the Prefect, then in trying to come up with something cool to do, one guy has a brilliant plan and it suddenly becomes an unwanted escape room/home-invasion horror movie thanks to a magic skeleton key that fucked with Ramshackle. I never ironed out the details. But here are 5 out of 6 hypothetical “cards” I drew for it.

These are all hella old, and the only thing that bugs (aside from never finishing Ace’s rip, sorry😭 ) is that I drew them on a canvas that was too small and I didn’t notice until it was too late!! Then i had the grand idea to make them bigger, but that made them more jank. So the quality has been compromised across the board. There’s a lot I’d change design wise nowadays. BUT I’M STILL a fan of Deuce and Ortho’s appearances specifically (even if there are minor things i’d adjust, like maybe Ortho’s pose since i wasnt comfy drawing him and his machinery aesthetic yet.)

Hypothetical “SSR” belongs to Sebek because at the time he didn’t have an event specific one. This era was a throw a bone W. Nowadays I just want the guy to always have Ws.

It’s a little janky presentation wise across the board imo, so if I ever come back to this one day with more refinement, everyone is getting redone. And maybe Ace can be an “SSR” too to make up for never finishing his image (not showing the old wip). No promises though, even dropping this much in the states they’re in is enough to shoot my nerves tbh. I like the base idea fine, but it could do with a lot more refinement everywhere. AND NEXT TIME I’D REMEMBER THE RESOLUTION SIZE. BUT YEAH THATS IT REALLY the end. This wasn’t an essay this was venting lmfao rip

I believe Sophie could gently hold Harrow's hand. She could help her clean up bone dust. Harrow would be fascinated with her word magic and Sophie would kick the asses of Harrow's skeletons. Sophie wouldn't care too much of how necromancy works but me thinks she should fight skeletons with her bare hands. I think Sophie could also shake Gideon by the shoulders and look deep into her eyes and tell her that she matters and she's wonderful. Gideon and Harrow would both cry. Then they could all walk to the flower fields and watch the sunset together. I think that would fix me, actually.

Body Type Headcanons!

These are just some of my personal headcanons for the main cast's overall body types - I have a lot more to say about them (and why they are the way they are), so if anyone is curious feel free to bother me!

CW for general talk of body types (with no negative connotations attached)

Lucifer - The second tallest of the brothers. Straight up and down and as flat as a board. A little bit of muscle, enough to be defined but not to be super noticeable. A very ‘generic’ body type.

Mammon - Kind of short and stocky. He seems taller just because he works so hard to make his presence known and keep attention on himself to some degree. 

Leviathan - Spindly and lanky, but with little pouches of chub here and there - think like the Spot from Spiderverse, but he wears it well.

Satan - Very similar body type to Lucifer, but he looks shorter because of his poor posture. He also, overall, looks more angular than Lucifer.

Asmodeus - His appearance is the one that varies the most, he changes it up almost daily, adjusting curvature and shapes in ways that he feels are ‘aesthetically pleasing’, sometimes switching up his gender presentation too. But overall, he’s soft and short, and curvy in all the right places.

Beelzebub - He’s the tallest of all his brothers. He’s big and broad, and while he’s obscenely strong, the muscle isn’t as defined as, say, a bodybuilder. He’s got some softness to protect it. 

Belphegor - Very chubby and rounded, which is accentuated even more when he wears baggy clothes. When he sits or lays down, he tends to just devolve into a little puddle.

Diavolo - He’s the most typical bear you could imagine. Big and broad, chubby and hairy. He’s a little below Lucifer’s height (up to his nose), but Lucifer tends to slouch in his presence so that he seems taller. 

Barbatos - He’s very petite, in a way that almost seems ethereal. He has the ability to easily change his appearance, but he finds that a smaller form tends to make others let their guard down around him. He’s still extraordinarily strong though. 

Simeon - He’s slim and fit, but overall fairly slender. He’s the same height as Diavolo. Relatively skinny and also sort of soft-looking, with very little visible built muscle. 

Luke - In Nightbringer he’s sort of like… childishly proportioned, like a teen boy going through a growth spurt, where he’s got too much height in his limbs, whereas in the original game, he’s sort of shorter and more rounded out, with a decent amount of chub. 

Solomon - Wiry and spindly, almost in an uncanny sort of way. He may occasionally look unhealthily gaunt, but he plays it off like it’s nothing.

neuvillette has a huge aquarium in his house. not because he likes fish, mind you (though he does find them soothing to observe), but because the fish happened to pair conveniently with the giant tank of water he wanted in his house.

the fish came about because, when getting the house built, he got some strange comments from the architects and builders about the big tank of water he wanted (it spans through about three rooms) when he already had a pool on the balcony. so in the end, he settled on getting some tropical fish and the like to keep in there, and quickly found himself really invested in looking after them, making sure their environment was perfect and making sure the pH of the water was spot on

he also has a koi pond and a lot of watery plants throughout his house. it's insanely high maintenance but he looks forward to taking care of it all each and every day

btw diavolo and i have matching furbies that are loosely themed after one another so we can hold them when we miss each other. we dress them up for dates and he takes photos of them for his silly little devilgram account where he has a very dedicated following. i have a clear little pocket in my backpack where mine sits so everyone can see it and his has a little baby carrier type thing that he forces barbs to carry around.

mine is named deejay (diavolo junior), his is lilro (lil rowan) or something like that <3

Fr all the boys in the main Yuu squad have been getting love with SRs or SSRs (Deuce, Ace, Ortho, Sebek not so much but still counts) and Jack is completely neglected.

He did NOT begrudgingly help Ace and Deuce in the Octavinelle chapter to be backstabbed like this.

NO FR I COUNTED THE FIRST YEAR'S EVENT CARD COUNT

R cards:

Ace: 0

Deuce: 2

Jack: 4

Epel: 2

Sebek: 2

Ortho: 1

SR cards:

Ace: 4

Deuce: 3

Jack: 2

Epel: 4

Sebek: 3

Ortho: 3

And the current event SSRs (not counting birthday or club SSRs);

Ortho with 3 (counting Cerberus Gear) Ace and Deuce with 2, Jack, Epel and Sebek with 1.

Jack has twice the amount of R cards than the others...... this is so sad and frustrating wtf... especially how his R cards are easily more stunning than his other SRs and SSRs?! (yeah I'd rather have fairy gala, swimwear and playful dress as SSR than portfest, fight me)

It's even more frustating that Jack and Trey were R cards instead of Cater and Vil in this event considering that;

Cater is in his FIFTH SR card (currently the character with more SRs) while he only has 1 R card

Vil had a SR and a SSR this year (two groovy illustrations) while only having 1 R card as well

Trey is in 3rd R card alongside with Jade; his last SR was 2 years ago (endless halloween)

Jack is in his 4th R card while his last SR was 3 years ago (scary monsters)

The imbalance and favoritism is getting really hard to ignore now ngl.... They better start balancing out card rankings for the next years, as in giving more R cards to those who already have too many SRs/SSRs and vice versa

But I can probably guess two confirmed cards that might break this chain a little;

Jack's masterchef card, probably coming next year. His first SR after over 3 years (unless he has a SR event card before that)

Ace's tsum card will most likely be a R, considering most of the first years (minus Ortho) had a R card in this event and Ace is the only first year left. If.... If Ace really does get a SR card... another one... Then there will be no shade of doubt that this is blatant favouritism 😭I'm REALLY hoping this isn't...
