StripClubOwner!Simon x Reader
After you start dating Simon, who is the owner of not one but three popular strip clubs, you find yourself deliberately avoiding them.
The main reason for this aversion is that you don’t want to be trailing behind him for hours on end while he attends to his business. Moreover, it’s difficult to ignore the way the dancers gawk at your boyfriend with obvious admiration, which they don’t bother hiding. Not even when you're glued to his side, holding his hand.
You’ve never considered yourself a jealous girlfriend. You’re secure in your relationship and you trust Simon. But there are moments when you find your confidence waning. This often happens when you see the amount of attention that he attracts, particularly from the girls who work for him.
They're always around him, their eyes following his every move, their laughs a bit too loud, their smiles a bit too wide. The intensity of this attention becomes especially palpable when he walks into the dressing room to hand out their checks. It’s almost as if the atmosphere changes—the air electrifies with expectation. The girls straighten up, their backs arching subtly, their faces lighting up.
It’s these moments that leave a sour taste in your mouth. You try to brush it off, to reassure yourself that it’s all in your head. But the feeling of insecurity, instigated by these instances, clings to you, stubborn and unyielding.
At first, Simon’s unaware of the turmoil brewing within you, oblivious to the anxiety you feel and blind to the fact that you are increasingly crafting excuses to avoid setting foot in his clubs. This avoidance goes unnoticed by him for a while, your subtle changes in behavior flying under his radar. But when he finally picks up on it, it leaves him feeling more than just a bit frustrated.
That frustration eventually leads to a conversation where he asks you directly about your reluctance to visit his clubs. Faced with his question, you spill your guts out about how it all makes you feel insecure.
Simon, to his credit, listens to your concerns. He doesn’t interrupt or dismiss your feelings, instead he absorbs your words, letting them sink in. After that intense conversation, things change subtly between you two. For a while, he doesn’t bring up his work.
However, there comes a night filled with laughter, deep conversations, and a hearty dinner. Admittedly, the two of you indulge in a little too much to drink. Simon, ever the extravagant spender, spares no expense when it comes to fine alcohol. You, on the other hand, despite not having the same tolerance, try your best to keep up with his pace. The result is you ending up in a state of giggly euphoria, while he, accustomed to such indulgences, barely feels tipsy.
Amidst this atmosphere of light-hearted intoxication, Simon, with a serious expression that starkly contrasts the jovial mood, proposes a solution for you to overcome your insecurity. He suggests an idea that is as unexpected as it is intriguing.
“Dance,” he says. "One of the girls would teach you,." His belief is that by doing, you would not only come to see that you are every bit as talented as his dancers, if not even more so, but you would also realize you don’t need to be jealous or feel insecure.
In the morning, you find that the idea which seemed brilliant the night before doesn’t hold the same allure. However, after a week passes, before the club opens its doors for the night, Simon drives you to it and introduces you to his top tipped dancer.
You’re immediately intimidated, unsure of what to expect. However, as it turns out, your fears were unfounded. The dancer is a lovely woman, slightly older than you, patient and understanding. She starts you off with simple moves that you can practice on the floor. Once she sees you getting comfortable moving around in heels, she encourages you to try some moves on the pole.
The following week is spent training intensively, and surprisingly, it becomes a fun. This happens especially once you find your balance and stop falling each time you raise your legs in the air—the initial awkwardness fades away, replaced by a growing confidence in your movements.
As the month passes, your readiness to step onto the stage grows, but it only happens after a lot of persuading from Simon. He reassures you, tells you he wants to show off all the hard work you’ve put into your training.
And show you off, he does. After your debut performance, you’re met with an overwhelming amount of positive attention from the rowdy men in the audience who can’t tear their eyes away from your body. The thrill of being on stage, combined with the generous tips you receive, makes you want to dance again.
You become a regular performer at the club, captivating the crowd with your mesmerizing dance moves and the way your body moves. You never strip, daring only to shed a few pieces of clothing here and there, but that doesn’t prevent you from becoming the customer’s favorite—your aura becomes a magnetic pull, drawing in patrons night after night.
Simon’s overjoyed when you decide to leave your shitty job and start working for him. His excitement, however, doesn’t blind him to the need for certain rules. He puts several in place, but there’s one rule specifically created for you — no lap dances. Under no circumstance is anyone allowed to lay a hand on you.
But there are those who dare to break the rule. Occasionally, men attempt to get their hands on you. But each time, they end up with broken fingers.
Surprisingly, the pain and humiliation don’t deter them. They return to the club the following night, attracted to you like moths to a flame.
I wanted to write a short fic based on this, but I already have many WIPs >.<

Hey hey, since you’re doing requests, can I request zoro x reader (established relationship) where it’s a recreation of this scene: https://x.com/kyoruyeye/status/1735320235572679085?s=46&t=b1QQ53SU-R7bOOFwRYV3zA
I don’t know, the thought of zoro being like, really injured and reader trying to give him water that way since she doesn’t have another way to bring it to him to help him, but all he wants is to kiss her desperately is just aaaAAHHH
A/N: Hiiiii I finally got around to this the holidays are kicking my ass I do hope you enjoy!! I love desperate kisses so so much so I had a lot of fun writing this <3<3<3
Zoro sits in the aftermath of an exhausting battle, the moonlight shining its soft rays onto his features. His chest heaves as the adrenaline wears off as both of you bare marks of the battle– cuts and bruises littering your figures as evidence of how rough the battle was. Despite the evident damage on both of your bodies, it was clear that Zoro had taken most of the hits, as shown by the way his chest rapidly rises and falls, or the way he can’t stand, or the sheer amount of blood he had lost.
As your own breathing calms down, the need for water hits like a ton of bricks. Scanning the area, your eyes land on an open flask, its contents trickling onto the ground. Hope surges within you, and without hesitation, you scoop water into your hands. You fill your own mouth with water to satiate your own needs, and you scoop up some more, but as you turn to offer Zoro some relief, the precious liquid slips through the cracks of your fingers, leaving you with a growing sense of helplessness.
The lingering determination to help the green-haired man rushes within you, and you decide to give Zoro the moisture he so desperately needs. Leaning in, you pressed your lips to his, initiating a kiss that carried a hope to relieve and help him. The unexpected move catches Zoro off guard, but he meets your lips with a sense of gratitude, his calloused hands cupping your face as he accepts the gesture.
As you pull away, relief washes over Zoro's features, and you sigh at the same time. But before words could leave your mouth, Zoro captures your lips once more, his kiss now filled with a newfound desperation. It was as if something had snapped within him, unleashing a desire that went beyond the mere need for water—it was a visceral hunger for you.
Breaking the kiss, you gasp for air and break the silence with, "Wait, I don't have more water," but your words are swallowed by the feeling of his lips on yours once again.
The kiss deepens, Zoro's tongue parting your lips with a passion that was filled with that intense desire for you. His hands, rough and calloused, cradles your face, the contrast between his strength and the tenderness of the kiss creating an intense intimacy. Your hands grasp the collar of his shirt as you attempt to steady yourself.
Zoro breaks the heated kiss to murmur against your lips, "Your mouth's too small, that's why... it's not enough." But just as you attempt to catch your breath and respond, Zoro's lips found yours once more. The kiss tastes of salt mixed with the lingering metallic tang of blood. One of Zoro's hands snakes around your waist, pulling you closer, his touch possessive and tender. As the kiss continues, the moonlight casts a soft glow on the two of you locked in this intimate moment. The need for anything else overshadows the need for this kiss, and the world around you two fades away as you find bliss in each other's lips.

Jake Seresin never thought he would settle.
Jake Seresin never thought he would come home to freshly baked dinner almost every night.
Jake Seresin never thought he would come home from deployment with pure joy.
Jake Seresin never thought he would be a dad.
Jake Seresin also never thought he would be a husband. A great one.
But here he was being the best of him for his family.
One night, with his wife peacefully laying beside him and their two beautiful babies sleeping soundly in their shared room,Jake Seresin couldn't help but reflect on how the story of their love had begun.
As he lay there, the soft glow of the moonlight filtering through the curtains illuminated the room, casting a gentle aura over the scene. The hushed sounds of nighttime surrounded them, creating a tranquil atmosphere that contrasted with the high-octane tales of Jake’s daring adventures.
His mind drifted back to the Hard Deck, where the neon lights and pulsating beats had set the stage for their first meeting. Jake couldn't shake the memory of that night – the electric connection, the shared laughter, and the undeniable chemistry that had sparked between them. Little did he know that the chance encounter in the bar would evolve into a love story that now filled their shared space with warmth and joy.
August 18 2018:
The Hard Deck pulsed with the kind of energy that seemed to defy gravity, much like the Jake Seresin himself. Bright lights painted the room in vivid hues, casting an electric but also soft glow over the animated crowd. You, just another face in the buzzing sea of people, found solace in the dimly lit corner of the bar.
And then, he swaggered in, a living legend in khaki uniform and aviator sunglasses Jake Seresin, the talk of the town. His sandy blond, sleek hair and the unmistakable cocky grin made your heart flutter unexpectedly. As if guided by some unseen force, he ended up at the bar right beside you.
The air crackled with unspoken tension, a silent dialogue of glances exchanged beneath the pulsating beats. Penny must have noticed the incident because she leaned over to your ear and whispered encouragingly for you to break the ice.
"Fly any cool jets lately?" you asked, your attempt at nonchalance betrayed by the slight quiver in your voice,it wasn't expected.
He shot you a smirk, a glint of mischief in his eyes, and the conversation took off like a supersonic jet. Jake's tales of high-flying adventures and near misses filled the air, weaving a spell that drew you into his orbit. The chaotic sounds of the bar faded away as you found yourself captivated by his world.
“Do you think they are having fun?” Phoenix asked Rooster while sipping her beer.
“Nah,i guess not”
But your and his laughter became the soundtrack of the night, shared stories creating a bridge between two strangers who felt strangely connected.
The Hard Deck, with its bright ambiance and heady atmosphere, became the backdrop to a love story written in stolen glances and genuine smiles.
In the heartbeat of that night, you realized that Jake Seresin was not just a daring pilot but a soul with whom you shared an undeniable connection. The clinking of glasses and the distant hum of conversations faded into the background, leaving only the vibrant chemistry that sparked between you and the real-life Hangman, as the Hard Deck transformed into the unexpected stage for the beginning of something extraordinary.
And both of you were grateful for Hard Deck and Penny that night.
October 10 2019:
Life with Jake was fun.
Life with Jake was an exhilarating journey, an adventure marked by laughter, spontaneity, and a touch of unpredictability. From the moment he entered your world, it was as if a burst of vibrant energy had been injected into the everyday routine, transforming the mundane into a thrilling escapade.
His infectious zest for life was like a magnetic force, pulling you into a whirlwind of excitement. Every day was an opportunity for new experiences, whether it was exploring uncharted places or simply finding joy in the ordinary. Jake's playful spirit infused even the simplest moments with a sense of fun and wonder.
Together, you navigated the ups and downs with a shared sense of humor that made challenges feel more like temporary detours than roadblocks. Life with Jake was a rollercoaster of laughter, a soundtrack of inside jokes and spontaneous adventures that left a trail of fond memories.
What made it even more special was Jake's ability to find joy in the little things. Whether it was a spontaneous road trip, a homemade dinner, or just a quiet evening at home, he had a knack for turning the ordinary into something extraordinary.
It was in those everyday moments that you discovered the true meaning of happiness – the joy of simply being with someone who knew how to make every moment count.
Life with Jake wasn't just fun; it was a celebration of love, friendship, and shared experiences. He taught you that life's journey is not just about reaching a destination but about savoring the joy of the ride. With Jake by your side, every day was an opportunity to embrace the thrill of the unknown, and you wouldn't have had it any other way.
Especially after little over a year, Jake knelt on one knee one morning as both of you were preparing breakfast. As you turned around in your seat to grab the toast, you saw him on just one knee, holding a blue velvet box, delicately opening it to reveal a slim, gold ring with a dainty not so big diamond in the center – a thoughtful choice you knew he had made, understanding how he moved in minimalist jewelry.
"I had a speech, and - aside from the fact that I have a lot of things to say about you but, I don't remember anything else now and more than that but look I'm madly in love with you. And ı can't think of a day where ı open my eyes and not see you or going to bed without you being the last person ı talk to and I just - Screw it, Y/N, I can't imagine a life without you in it, and just - marry me, please?"
His eyes were already shining before taking a deep breath, his lips trembling as he bitten his lower lip, his lips already pink, and there he was proposing in his black fitted shirt and in his red gingham pajama bottom.
You screamed, placing your hands over your heart, shaking your head as you cried, "Yes! Yes, oh my God, yes, hundred times yes!" Before you could even stand up, you found yourself throwing yourself to the floor, where he hugged you tightly.
Also, you remember that celebrating only with close friends and family in your home was very humble.
You didn't know too many people and you two didn't want a huge ceremony. So the backyard was the cutest place to get married.
As your bridesmaids Phoenix, Halo, and Penny took responsibility for decorating the backyard of your shared home with all the decors, illuminating the trees and walls.
The moment Jake saw you in the simple white wedding dress, it became a moment etched forever in everyone's mind who was present.
He was crouched, pulling you inside for a hug before closing his open mouth in disbelief; you were also laughing shyly as you pulled him to yourself.
He wore a white suit, with pink embroidered flowers on the sides resembling the headpiece you wore.
Polaroids were taken, all the photos were captured on film, making everything about the night, everyone was having the time of their lives.
Whole dagger squad was there and they were the life and the soul of the party.
Jake’s sisters, his family and your siblings and family were there.
Even admiral Beau came. Maverick brought him; he also brought Ice.
The night was more fun, more enchanting and more emotional than anyone expected.
“They said, "I bet they'll never make it"
But just look at us holding on
We're still together, still going strong..”
January 30 2020:
Three years ago, on January 30, you remember telling Jake that you were pregnant. Technically, you screamed it out.
Both of you decided to attend Shania Twain’s show at Madison Square Garden, given your shared admiration for her.
He just came from a 4 week deployment and you knew he needed a break, especially during tense times.
So you planned a trip to New York because he loved there but honestly who doesn't love New York?
But something happened almost before 5 days before the trip.
You got sick. It all started with a lack of appetite, and then suddenly, you felt like eating everything and anything. You blamed hormones until morning sickness kicked in.
If there was one thing you absolutely hated, it was nausea. You remember waking up shaking and retching, your body still feeling the need to rush to the toilet despite not having eaten anything that morning.
For the first three days of these incidents, you were alone. Jake was about to return from the deployment.
Not wanting to disturb him and worry him, you didn't tell him anything.
Whenever he asked why you looked unwell, you simply told him it was just nausea and nothing serious.
One day after Jake went out with Bradley, you remember calling your best friend,Phoenix, asking her to bring you a pregnancy test, choosing to avoid any tabloid talk.
Your heart was pounding, legs bouncing, palms sweaty, and nausea had already begun when you followed the instructions, waiting anxiously.
And then it happened; a scream of disbelief, one hand covering your mouth while the other tightly held the test - you were pregnant.
You remember Jake loving many things, many people, and many abstract ideas like love. You knew he loved babies and kids, often talking about them with you, mentioning seeing you both building a family.
So, after visiting the obstetrician and learning you were five weeks pregnant, you were dazed and excited to tell Jake but decided to do it in a different setting.
Four days after your visit, you and Jake were at Madison Square Garden singing along with Shania Twain.
You stood in front of Jake, leaning your back against him, his arms wrapped around your waist, your hands holding onto his arms, both of you swaying to “You’re still the one’ " while his chin rested on your shoulder.
When you moved slightly to look at him, Jake gazed back at you while singing.
“You're still the one I run to
The one that I belong to
You're still the one I want for life
You're still the one that I love
The only one I dream of
You're still the one I kiss goodnight..”
He kissed your lips and lightly tapped your forehead. Slowly pulling back, he smiled at you.
And then you said it.
"I'm pregnant."
His eyebrows shot up, leaning closer, "I can't hear you!"
You grinned, turning in his arms, "I'm pregnant! Five weeks pregnant!"
His world stopped, mouth forming an 'O' shape as his eyes widened,
"Y/N, are you kidding?!"
With a surprised smile, he asked, lips stretching into a grin, "My love, are you for real?" he asked.
Nodding with joy, you brought his hand from his cheek to your stomach, saying, "You're going to be a dad!"
His breakdown, tears streaming down, biting his lip as he threw his head back, red-nosed,his adam apple bobbing and crying with veins visible on his forehead, hugging you before crying into your shoulder – the only thing he needed to cry into before crying to your shoulder.
His eyes were teary as he held you, feeling him pulling back to rest his forehead against yours, moving his hands to the sides of your neck, "I love you. I love you so much," pulling you back into a hug, one hand moving towards the back of your head, the other on your back, and bringing you closer.
The 9 month pregnancy was smooth and emotional.
The 9 months of your pregnancy were painful, but there wasn't much else to feel aside from your love for Jake's incredible support and assistance and your admiration for your daughter, Emma Seresin.
Since the moment Emma came into the world, you knew she had wrapped her tiny finger around Jake's.
Your daughter was a bond between both of you, but you took pride in her character and personality at such a young age.
When Emma turned 3, you felt proud of how you and Jake could chat with her, even if it was about Jake’s job or hard topics like that and you loved every moment of him talking about how much Emma loved strawberry chapstick or how her nail color was important for her.
On a day when a familiar nausea and change in appetite reminded you of a late period, one question lingered in your mind.
So, over a meal, you brought it up to your husband, who was struggling to eat with your daughter in his lap.
Long story short, you were pregnant – again.
June 26 2023:
You, your husband, and your daughter were sitting in your backyard, allowing Emma to get some vitamin D. While you were writing in your journal, both of you were on the swings, and Emma was playing with her toys and running around, Jake was reading a book beside you.
‘’Mommy?’’
"Yes, sweetheart?"
She ran towards you, putting both of her hands on her knees before looking at your eight-month-pregnant belly and grinning, "What's in there?"
Jake chuckled, putting his book aside to pay closer attention.
"Your baby sibling is in there," you smiled at her.
"But how? Can I sit in there too?"
You and Jake chuckled at her question. "You used to sit in there, darling. But then, you were born three years ago."
Emma frowned, looking at you. "I want to go back in."
You looked at Jake, silently asking for his help.
Before lifting her into your lap, he leaned forward, hands wrapping around her underarms. "But your sibling won't have enough space then."
"I don't care," she whined, crossing her arms and looking down while talking, her lips quivering.
"Your sibling needs all the space to grow up and play with you. Don't you want that?" You asked gently, one hand on your knee.
"But he'll take my toys."
"You can share all your toys with him, sweetheart. He'll share his toys with you too." You chuckled, fearing she wouldn't like her sibling. It was something neither you nor Jake was ready for.
"But, but, you and dad will buy more toys for him.I don't want him." She said with a whimper, arms crossed and looking down, her lips trembling.
You and Jake shared a look before turning back to your three-year-old.
"Emma," Jake gently called her name, looking at her without lowering his gaze, "Sweetie, look at me, please." Emma slowly looked at Jake, allowing both of you to see her teary eyes. "You know Mommy and Daddy love you, and we'll always love you, right?"
You reassured her, saying, 'We love you very much, baby, and nothing will change that,'" you said, placing one hand on your knee, "We're excited for your sibling to meet you. He loves you too."
"Didn't you get excited the other day to show him your room?" Jake asked, rubbing her back gently.
"Yes," she murmured.
"You have so much to show and teach him. You can be his first best friend. Isn't that nice?"
As if understanding what was said, Emma slowly nodded her head.
"We love you, sweetheart. Forever," Jake said, leaning to give her a kiss on the forehead.
Emma turned to her father, crossing her arms and raising two fingers, one for you and one for Jake, "Promise?"
As if your hearts melted right there, you would cry as you locked your pinky finger with hers, watching Jake do the same.
"We promise."
But nobody warned you about the hell you'd go through when your daughter started to envy Calvin.
The day Emma entered the hospital room, holding hands with Javy, and looked at you lying in the hospital bed next to Calvin, making baby sounds as he moved his arms and legs, his eyes wide open, you knew it was somehow going good.
She seemed very welcoming.
Jake sat on the other side of his son, playing with your hair as a non-verbal way to thank you and comfort you after the pain you went through. His lips were fixed in a smile; his heart was pounding with happiness at the addition of the new healthy family members.
Emma looked at her parents, unable to see the middle sibling. She was overwhelmed because she knew she would meet her brother.
"Hello, sweetheart!" Jake grinned at her, bending slightly and opening his arms. Before kissing her cheek, he hugged her tightly as he carried her to sit on his hip, watching her eyes immediately shift to the newborn baby.
"Meet Calvin, buddy." Tired but with a smile on your face, you spoke, hoping she would take the change lightly.
Well, at least you hoped so.
But as Emma threw herself onto Jake, burying her head on his shoulder, crying, it was expected.
Javy and his wife didn't know how to help. Just like Bradley and Natasha.
"Hey, hey, what's the problem?" Jake asked, rubbing her back as she cried.
"I don't like him," Emma said, dragging him, her arms wrapped around Jake's neck.
You both know she wasn't a kid like this and it surprised you both.
Your heart broke, and Jake's smile faded as if triggered by the screams of your daughter, Calvin started crying too. You sat down, gently picking him up into your arms, placing him against your chest, soothing him, and supporting the back of his head as you pleaded for almost everything to be done by him.
Until Jake locked onto Emma after realizing she was causing the crying. He got out of the small room and stopped in the corridor, holding her, bouncing softly to calm her down.
"Come on, baby, please calm down," he said with a sigh, "Why don't you like Calvin?" he muttered, rubbing her back.
Emma sniffled, pulled back, but while keeping her father's head down, she moved her hand to touch Jake's necklace - the one you and Emma gave him on Father's Day, "Because-because-because he's little and needs more attention, and you won’t love me anymore.."
Jake sat in a chair, still holding his daughter in the same way. "What makes you think that?"
"He will have more love because he's little and needs more attention."
Jake took a deep breath and let the words drown him. While it was true that the little one needed necessary and more attention, he didn't know how to explain to the older one that it wasn't the case.
"When you were a little baby," he started, looking at her, "Mommy and Daddy were everywhere with you. You wanted your parents,us, with you all the time. You cried when we were asleep, spit up too much on us," Jake chuckled to himself, remembering those moments and realizing how everything felt like just yesterday, "You always wanted your mommy and daddy with you. And we never left you," he finished, "So, what makes you think we'd leave you now, sweetheart?"
Emma didn't respond.
"Your brother can't talk yet. He can't say when he's hurt, he doesn't even know the taste of your favorite blueberry pancakes. And we have to make sure he does all these things just like you. But the thing is," Jake leaned to whisper in her ear as if sharing a secret, "Mommy and Daddy can't do it alone. We can't do it without you."
Emma slowly looked at Jake, her face with furrowed eyebrows.
"We promised, sweetheart. We promised to love you forever. Have we ever broken a promise?" He watched her nod, "And we won't. So what do you say? Can you give your brother a chance? Actually, he's quite funny." Jake smiled at her.
"Is he funnier than you?" She asked.
Jake laughed, "Much funnier! You just have to look closely."
Emma giggled quietly.
"Mommy is so excited for you to meet Calvin, do you know that? She was telling me about all the numbers you can teach him, all the pictures you two will take. And what he'll get you for Christmas."
"Can he get me a book about stars? With pictures?" She asked excitedly.
Jake grinned, filled her face with kisses, and heard her giggle, knowing it was one of his favorite sounds, "Tell him."
When Jake stopped, Emma sighed, lowering her shoulder, "Okay, Daddy. I'll say to him.."
"Thank you." He smiled gratefully, "Shall we go back?"
When your husband hugged your daughter and walked in with her in his arms, you couldn't know what to expect until you saw your them
Shy and embarrassed Emma, after sharing a glance with Javy, and hugged Jake after returning to her place.
Calvin had also returned to his place, and silence had returned.
Emma looked at him again, finally noticing how small his hands were, and got curious. Reluctantly, she leaned down a bit with the intention of poking his hand.
But the moment she touched him, it was the moment Calvin wrapped his fingers around hers, making her smile.
"He's holding my finger!" She squealed with delight, "You were right, Daddy. He is funny."
"Yes, you just need to get to know him a bit more," Jake said, bending down and kissing Calvin’s hand before looking at you and whispering an ‘’ı love you so much’’
He was happy that you were still the one to love.
02.05 am February 17:
There was a tired smile formed on his face after he thought about memories.
Beside him, his wife, you stirred in your sleep, a serene expression on your face.
That made him realize how late it was.
Jake turned to face your sleeping form. Moved some stray of your hair and kissed your soft cheek. and while he was looking at you he noticed something.. Jake's heart swelled with gratitude for the life you both had built together.
Your shared room became a sanctuary, adorned with the echoes of laughter, after some rough night; soft pantings and ‘’ı love you’s’’, sometimes a place where you comforted each other and the soft breathing of your sleeping kids, and the quiet acknowledgment of a love that had deepened with time.
In the stillness of the night, surrounded by the tangible evidence of your shared journey – the woman he loved, you, and the two precious souls you both had brought into the world together– Jake couldn't help but marvel at the unexpected beauty of how their story had unfolded. The Hard Deck, with its bright yellow lights and adrenaline-fueled beginnings, now seemed like a distant, yet cherished, memory in the symphony of their family life.
And he was grateful that you were still the one who he kissed for goodnight.

Warnings: non/con elements, fem!Reader, Sekido lives in a mansion
SINFUL SUNDAY
In the opulent halls of Sekido's mansion, you found yourself in the unique position of serving as his maid. The lavish setting was a stark contrast to the modesty of your uniform, but you navigated the opulence with grace. Days were spent attending to the needs of the grand estate, ensuring every corner sparkled with pristine cleanliness. Little did you know that your routine was about to take an unexpected turn.
One evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the mansion, a distinguished guest arrived. Sekido, known for his stoicism, greeted them with a reserved nod. The air was thick with an unspoken tension as the guest's eyes lingered on you. Your every move seemed to captivate them, and Sekido, though normally composed, felt a pang of unease.
As the night unfolded, the guest's flirtatious remarks became more pronounced. You, bound by the duties of your position, maintained a professional demeanor, but the tension was palpable.
Sekido, observing from a distance, felt an unfamiliar emotion bubbling within him — an unsettling mixture of anger and possessiveness.
The guest's advances became increasingly brazen, each word a provocation that fueled the growing fire within Sekido. He watched, jaw clenched, as the line between propriety and audacity blurred. It wasn't long before he could no longer contain his simmering rage.
Finally, unable to bear witness any longer, Sekido stepped forward, his voice sharp and cutting like a blade. "That's enough," he declared, his eyes ablaze with an intensity that could melt steel. "Leave now or I'll end your pathetic life."
The guest, taken aback by the sudden eruption of Sekido's wrath, excused themselves, leaving a trail of unease in their wake.
Alone in the aftermath, Sekido turned to you, his usual composure shattered. "You are mine," he declared, his tone possessive and raw as he walked closer to you. The anger in his eyes was replaced by a vulnerability that betrayed the depth of his emotions. "No one else's."
Before you could summon any resistance, the sensation of your clothing being forcefully torn enveloped you, and you found yourself hastily thrown onto the nearest couch. The immediate aftermath was the intense heat and unyielding pressure of Sekido's firm cock entering your most intimate space. Your own body, initially unprepared and tense, required Sekido to withdraw and engage in a purposeful rhythm to gradually navigate his way within. Your surrender was swift, your compliance apparent, creating an ideal scenario for him, knowing well that your adaptability would lead to swift comprehension and acquiescence.
The commanding shaft persistently sought entry, its forceful attempts at penetration your cunny not yet reaching completion but ceaselessly endeavoring to do so. The amalgamation of unexpected astonishment and unfiltered discomfort melded, overpowering nearly every other sensory experience. Your entire focus became consumed by the singular thought of his powerful dick pushing into you, eclipsing all else in your awareness. Despite his fully clothed state, the only exception being his hakama pants draped at his ankles, the intensity of the encounter heightened, leaving you entranced by the relentless pursuit of connection.
In a physical sense, he exuded a commanding and imposing presence, his silhouette casting a towering shadow over you. Your pussy tensed around him, a struggle for control that seemed almost beyond your grasp. His dominance was all-encompassing, every action executed with meticulous precision, as if he had orchestrated this encounter before, anticipating your every move and thought well in advance. It was a display of mastery that left you feeling entirely at his mercy, as if he had an innate understanding of you that surpassed even your own awareness.
"If you're good…" he grunted as he thrust, "and let me have what I want, everything will be fine. I don't have to hurt you if you just do as I say. I'll break you in."
With an additional grunt, he ultimately bottomed out in you. The friction ignited a searing sensation along the walls of your startled intimacy, stretching you wide with a perceived girth that seemed almost unbelievable. The awareness of his heavy balls against your ass only intensified the overwhelming intensity of the moment.
Terrified and still too stunned to speak, you whimpered.
Sekido's hand slapped you hard on the ass, and he commanded, "Now, just do as I say and everything will be fine. Milk me. Come on, squeeze me with that tight, sweet little cunt. I want to feel you working hard under me."
You wriggled uncomfortably, the struggle to maintain concentration evident as your mind clouded with apprehension; the understanding that crossing Sekido was ill-advised lingered heavily. In that moment, the paramount concern became his satisfaction, eclipsing all else. A peculiar facet of your psyche, a shadowy inclination, found a perverse liking in the punishment he meted out, adding a complex layer to the dichotomy of emotions coursing through you.
Another smack rattled your face this time, leaving a sting. He grunted. "You be good like I told you to."
Nodding, you bore down, trying to relax your muscles.
"There you go," Sekido said in an almost soothing voice, "that's it."
He proceeded to discipline you with a successive barrage of thrusts, each one more forceful than the last, easily overwhelming your feeble attempts to resist. A scream involuntarily escaped your lips. His dick, seemingly swelling and hardening within you, administered a punishing roughness that intensified the ordeal. The intricate dance between pleasure and pain ensued — every clench around him brought waves of pleasure, only to be swiftly replaced by a jolt of pain as you relaxed.
"Good girl," Sekido grunted, leaning further to drill you deeper, "You do that some more, just be quiet now, that's it. That's it, pathetic weakling."
The thrusts somehow became deeper, more earnest, and both his hands roughly tilted your hips up towards him, opening your legs as wide as they would go.
His hand remained steadfast, skillfully directing his dick in and occasionally introducing a finger or two to join in the rhythmic stroking within your drenched cunny. This deliberate manipulation elicited frantic little cries from you, your body writhing in a helpless manner, legs splayed beneath him in a submissive display.
"You can scream all you want to now, woman, nobody can hear you out here."
His cock was now nudging against your cervix, driving you insane with fear and pleasure. At first you did scream, half pain - half pleasure, as fingers and cock swirled into you, probing and retreating.
Then, almost miraculously, Sekido tensed for a final time, and in a merciful culmination, he explosively released his seed within your abused pussy. His warm cum flowed deliciously deep, whether welcomed or not. The auditory backdrop revealed his exhales, not in the sighs of a lover reveling in pleasure, but rather in the quiet satisfaction akin to a man indulging in a secret, illicit pleasure. As he withdrew, muttered words escaped his lips, "If you dare to don underwear in my presence again, I'll make sure the consequences are even more severe for you, feeble one. Keep that in mind, woman."

GENSHIN IMPACT —
memory ( zhongli x reader ) ;
this project was written then rewritten so many times it may as well be a meme. the premise of this one is the reader being a god birthed from a human, who is sustained by the faith and belief. however, due to some mishaps in their early days. they've been cursed to be forgotten. i was heavily inspired by noragami in how yato struggled to be remembered by people around him to stop himself from fading out of existance. // angst, hurt - no comfort, chaptered fic.
in the sky, on the earth ( zhongli x reader ) ;
a oneshot ( a long long oneshot ) about zhongli meeting a khaenri'ahn doctor and falling in love. once more, we fall into angst territory because i like making people cry apparently. this is kind of based off of one of my oc's, one silentmoth and i keep yammering about ( we have pour own little found family scenario involved as well - it's fun kijhbgvbhnj ). // angst, hurt - comfort, eventual happy ending, oneshot.
the earth, encased ( zhongli x reader ) ;
this one is zhongli grappling on your mortality ( yay ) after a near death experience grants you a vision. and it's geo. and he's having a crisis. // angst, hurt - comfort, near character death, lots og hugs, oneshot.
sehnsucht, or the taste of longing ( diluc x reader ) ;
and old old concept i want to revisit. set during the three year period in which diluc was investigating the fatui, he poses as a fatui recruit and marries the reader, a snezhnyayan citizen and a double agent who works alongside him. its mostly marriage of convenience, blossoming feelings and diluc and the reader being sneaky sneaks while they fall in love. // angst, fluff, slightly domestic, arranged marriage. oneshot.
arare litus ( neuvillette x reader ) ;
a mermaid is washed ashore and nevullette finds kinship in them. but there are murders going on, the reader learns how to human ( very little mermaid esque ) and pretty soon the killer is kind of revealed to be an unexpected face. this fic took a darker turn when it was supposed to be fluffy. i had crys screaming in my dm's it was a doozy and i loved it XD. // fluff, smut, oneshot.
HONKAI : STAR RAIL —
and this all consuming hunger ( jing yuan x reader ) ;
a guideverse fic featuring a sentinel jing yuan and a guide reader. it touches on touchstarvation, mortality and loneliness and i lowkey a catharsis in a sense. it's very self indulgent, everyone is tired and needs a hug. // hurt - comfort, fluff, oneshot.
from a warm climate ( jing yuan x reader ) ;
a bit of an au fic with a small dash of ancient magus bride. jing yuan is a retired warrior and a pathstrider who works in a society where magic is urbanized yet practiced on the downlow. he finds the reader, a kinnara who was abducted by hunters and managed to escape badly wounded. they can't quite bounce just yet due to having their veena, a sentimental object and a source for their use of magic, taken away as well and seeks to find it out. jing yuan just accepts it lol. it's mostly domestic, with found family elements to it. // angst, fluff. hurt - comfort, found family, chaptered fic.
like real people do ( jing yuan x reader ) ;
kjhgfdcfvghj this is also a wip in my folders for a while now. but in short. the reader was once a follower of the abundance and now seeks to live a normal life post lan lux - arrowing their planet apart. contrasted with memory ! reader who wants ti keep living, this one wants to live a good life and die a peaceful death. the ending is flat out tragic. do not touch if you hate angst. // angst, hurt-comfort, no happy endings lol, still debating on chaptered or oneshot.
it will come back ( blade x reader ) ;
the premise is blade finding the reader who runs a clinic on a planet overrun by shady businesses and crime. their meet cute is basically them driving a scalpel into his medulla and killing him. blade in turn just...keeps coming back lol. i really need to stop wolfing on hozier songs for my titles but then again most of his tunes serve inspiration kjhbgvbnj. it might contain mature content. i'm still mulling over it. // slight yandere??? idk, violence, blade is a walking red flag and a sad sad man.

Our pure-hearted, all-loving hero... he can be a little brat (especially back in OS/early in his journey, when he was much more of a hot-blooded boy hero), but his heart's worth its weight in solid gold and he grows into such a kind, patient character with strong ideals, which is why Hero of Ideals suits him best (even the movie manga opted to adapt that version of the movie, rather than the one where Ash is Hero of Truth, and expanded on it!)
[I hope you have "long post" and "image heavy" muted if you need to, because this post's a doozy and given tumblr, if my blog's ever deleted, posts with read mores will be rendered inaccessible forever, so I don't like to make them!]
A lot of people complained about how young Ash looked in BW! (and complained even more about Sun & Moon's very divisive art style... and we wound up seeing great growth for his love of a whole region, and achieved a goal integral to achieving his dreams), but from the first episode of BW!, my first impression was of how mature and calm Ash is with Iris and Trip in regards to their initially abrasive and varingly aloof personalities.
Iris was friendlier and more excitable, more childlike, but Ash took her barbs in stride and patiently waited for her to open up about her dreams (she keeps it secret in the first episode, using that cute, childish word "naisho" instead of saying it's a secret "himitsu"--the same childish word she uses when asked about what Kairyuu/Dragonite told her in their reunion episode) and background (we don't know she ran away from the academy or what her hometown was like until season 2!)
Tumblr media
The way Ash handled Tory (who was a traumatized, younger child--and Ash wanted to fight him at first, before understanding him!), Lucario (also traumatized, insulted Ash and Pikachu's bond--Ash fought him and fell off a hill, wrestling with him, before he saw Lucario's memory of being "abandoned" and broke down in tears, apologizing for what he said when he didn't know anything...), Chimchar (a traumatized Pokemon, Ash was patient, kind, and loving to him, even when he lashed out while out of control due to Blaze, which he previously could only use to save his life...), etc., is very different from how he handled Iris (who was bullied subtly by being completely ostracized, no one would sit or eat or play with her at the academy, she was so depressed, she stopped eating--this is canon and not lingered on, but she plainly says it and that her dorm mother making her food that would remind her of home, just berries skewered on a stick, "saved her") and even Trip.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(By the way, Ash apologizing to Lucario, in tears of regret over what he said to Lucario when he didn't understand him is when I first started to truly love and respect Ash's character and growth! Before that, I really was only a big fan of the TRio.)
Tumblr media
By contrast to those rockier beginnings with other kids, Ash was patient and encouraging with Trip, even while Trip purposefully kept him and everyone else (even his Pokemon who loved him, as Alder said...) at bay and rejected all his attempts at friendship, before he got the answers he needed from Alder and slowly stopped shutting others out. He had every right to lash out at Trip for making fun of him, but kept trying to befriend him and showed interest in his journey and growth.
(Trip was also his youngest main rival at that point, even if he is a very book-smart child prodigy type who was an excellent battler from the start, he still fell apart in front of unexpected, unorthodox techniques like Bell/Bianca and Satoshi/Ash's out-of-the-box strategies.)
Naturally, there's also his very patient and encouraging bond with Lillie, who also had her trauma-induced fear of Pokemon (much like Tory!) and dissociative amnesia, the early loss of her father in infancy, and the distance between her and her mother (too wrapped-up in work and her obsession with Ultra Beasts to notice her own child's trauma and falling behind her peers...) to overcome, but the focus of this post is BW! I already write a lot about Lillie, she's another favourite of mine. <3
It's worth noting, too, that Pikachu was Ash's first "problem Pokemon"... even if it's usually the Fire types who are traumatized, Pikachu has abandonment issues like Chimchar and Tepig did. Pikachu famously hates being inside a pokeball and Ash always repesects this boundary and becomes very, very upset in XY when he believed Pikachu was forced into a pokeball... the pokeball factory episode was, otherwise, a very light-hearted episode, but Pikachu's boundaries and possible trauma is taken seriously.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This scene mirrors a similar breakdown Alain has when he finds out all he's done, under the impression he was protecting his loved ones, was aiding Lysandre's genocidal plans... both smash their fists into hard surfaces, blaming themselves for failing to protect loved ones.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In a very early Kanto episode, Sparks Fly for Magnemite, we learn Pikachu has abandonment issues so bad, he doesn't want to be separated from Ash for even an overnight stay in the Pokemon Center. It seems Pikachu (fortunately) quickly become much more secure in his bond with Ash and no longer fears being separated for medical treatment, but this is very, very sad and telling!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Although we never delve very deeply into that for most of the series... (an early magazine scan has Ookido-hakase/Professor Oak theorize Pikachu's previous trainer abandoned it), we were finally given some answers late in series!
Tumblr media
In the AU movie, Pikachu says* his reason for not going into the pokeball: "It's because I always want to be with you." ;O;
... unless this is a dream or hallucination, given Ash is on the verge of unconsciousness when it happens--but if we really want to believe it happened, maybe his latent Aura post-cognition abailities kicked in and he understood Pikachu's feelings, like when Victini slept in his lap, crying, and Ash saw Victini's dream of his past.
As for the main series canon, in the first episode of Pocket Monsters 2019 (Pokemon Journeys), we learn Ash's Pikachu was a lone, possibly orphaned, Pichu, who was briefly raised by a Kangaskhan, carried in her pouch with her child, until he grew too heavy and quietly left at night (without saying goodbye) to live by his own strength, evolving into Pikachu as he did so.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
If Lusamine not taking Lillie's (because they're irrational or not logical) feelings seriously gave her a complex where she always needed to claim her stances are "logical" even when they're based in emotion... I wonder what it tells us that "child prodigy" Trip defaulting to blaming his loss to Alder on him doing something wrong or being inherently lacking ("What did I do wrong? What do I lack?"), because he doesn't ever consider a simple difference in experience is all it is... that Alder's many years of wisdom and Pokemon training give him an advantage over rookie trainer Trip, who's shown to be averse to being called a "child" (Iris ropes him into battling Ash twice by calling him a kid), because he always has to prove he's an adult. He thinks there's something inherently "lacking" in him or "wrong" about his method if he doesn't achieve.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
All of that is canon, but if you further analyze his character, Trip has a superiority complex, which is very often a defense mechanism to mask feelings of inferiority. He canonically places a lot of worth in the image he projects and constantly puts down others. Add that to being a child prodigy and his preoccupation with proving he's an adult (but doesn't bat an eyelid at someone calling him "unjust" for his violent methods in the Venipede episode, like he's already accepted being a terrible person, because he thinks striving for peace like idealistic Ash is "naive"--Trip has a very cynical view of adults, yet thinks of himself as such...)
Trip only cares to be seen as strong and mature, not good (he's not even surprised to be called bad, he's already accepted it, he doesn't care), and if he fails, he blames his lack of knowledge or his inherent nature as lacking.
Because his self-worth is in being a genius and being better than the rest, so he seeks outside validation, namely Alder's, who Trip behaves so jealously about, Alder canonically compares him to a fickle-hearted woman (well, he messes up the phrase 'Onna-gokoro to haru no sora.' "A woman's heart is as fickle as the sky of spring" because he was hitting on Junsa-san/Officer Jenny earlier, so he says "fickle as Junsa-san"... Freudian slip. ^^;;;;)
Trip, when asked what he was battling for, what he wanted to prove... he said it was to prove his strength to Alder.
Tumblr media
That's all he wanted! To prove his strength and be acknowledged by his hero. Alder even asks him if he likes him. Adeku frankly asks it in the Japanese version, but the dub dances around with "do you have any admiration for a man such as myself"--which Trip doesn't answer verbally, although he really doesn't have to, because the scene makes it clear and is a lens that clarifies all his past behaviour.
That's all Trip wants: love and acknowledgement. Which he believed he could only get by becoming stronger, smarter, and more mature as fast as possible, likely taking Alder's to be some stronger and grow up quickly too literally, as head animator Iwane said, Shootie was just "a little too grown-up."
Tumblr media
It takes a long, long time for Trip to unlearn prioritizing battles over anything else and to embrace childhood (which hey, is one of the main themes of BW!), because it's a precious time which we can never return to... so, Alder's current idealogy is to enjoy life, make friends, love Pokemon, and not dwell on the past. Ash's approach to being a Pokemon Champion and Master is the same.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Alder's introductory episode made it very clear he and Ash are very, very similar characters... and we see this again in Journeys, in the kind of advice Champion Ash gives younger kids. Ash and Alder have a similar wisdom they'd like to impart, I know, it's funny calling Ash wise, but he has high emotional intelligence and is incredibly wise in that respect for his age... it took Alder many, many long years to arrive at the same conclusion Ash reached.
Tumblr media
Ash's Japanese name, Satoshi, means "Wisdom." (Another cute detail: Ash's little brother, Lei, whose Hawaiian name means a "Garland of Flowers-- in Japanese, would be pronounced as Rei, which also means "Wisdom." Lei likely has a name chosen to have meaning in both Hawaiian and Japanese. ^^)
Bonus shout-out to Ash, Iris, and Cilan all protecting Keldeo until he finds the courage to face his fears, correct his mistakes, and save his friends...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ash is a very good friend, AG, DP, and BW! are all part of his development into the kinder character he became today. Some people might miss how rude he was to his friends in OS, but he can still playfully dish it out, he's just calmer and more sure of himself, so less likely to sweat the small stuff and recognizes when someone, whether Pokemon or trainer, just needs time and patience.

Touch: Spring (Benedict Bridgerton x Reader)
Tumblr media
Benedict Bridgerton x fem!Reader Rated: G, fluff and romance Word Count: 2.4k
Masterpost Previous part Next part
Summary: A social season in London with an unexpected ending.
Tumblr media
Another social season in London. Another parade of dress fittings and balls and concerts, with your mother trying to foist you off onto the nearest baron or marquis, anyone who is still willing to talk to a lady in her fourth season. It would be unbearable without the company of the Bridgertons. Eloise and Benedict Bridgerton, to be precise. You and Eloise resumed your old habits of walking together, visiting bookstores and cafes, and seeking each other out when the ton were all out on a promenade. Benedict would join in on occasion, chaperoning you both away from your mamas and your maids so that the three of you could poke fun at the latest terrible fashions, or commiserate about your lack of control over which engagements you were being dragged to.
The three of you weathered the season tucked away in corners of ballrooms, downing more champagne than would be appropriate and snickering behind your gloves. Benedict would sneak you both snacks as you sat in the back rows at cacophonous musicales, and would tug you tightly in the opposite direction whenever either of you were approached for a dance by a dubious gentleman.
He quickly became your close friend, this cheeky, clever, rebellious man, so much like his sister of whom you were so fond. Occasionally, memories of the snowstorm at Aubrey Hall would flash through your mind and you would find your breath hitching in your throat when you looked at him, but you always scolded yourself. You were reading too much into that moment. Your fanciful mind was running away with you. He was just friendly, as was evident in his interactions with everyone, and there was nothing else to it.
When the city gallery opened a new exhibit, the entire ton turned out to crowd in around the latest paintings. You saw Eloise from afar as she wandered with Penelope Featherington. Desperate to get away from your mothers who saw the occasion as the perfect matchmaking affair, you and Benedict found each other, and he steered you around the halls, his face lit with excitement at all there was to study. You each found your favorite pieces and mercilessly criticized each other’s choice, laughing the whole time. He gravitated toward the most explosive landscapes, pointing out the use of light and the contrast of color.
Your eyes lingered on his fingers as he pointed to the details, slender compasses drawing you deeper into the dreams of the artists. His ruffled shirt cuffs added to the drama as he swept his arm wide, exalting the pieces that made his eyes glimmer with inspiration. He was so full of passion, so insightful and educated. He challenged you to see new perspectives, and looked at you reverently when you pointed out your own. At the close of the event, he walked you to your family’s carriage and helped you step up inside. Again, your throat tightened as he grasped your hand and your fingers curled around his. Then you sat rather speechless as he grinned at you crookedly through the window before your carriage lurched forward and rolled away. Your mother looked at you from the opposite bench, face perplexed.
The next night is the Cowper Ball, as uptight and dismal an affair as its hosts. You are well prepared to spend the evening next to the punchbowl, and are flattered to find yourself in the company of the other Bridgerton brothers, Anthony and Colin. They look as miserable as you feel, but being men, they are privileged enough to be able to show it openly, whereas society dictates that you plaster on a pleasant smile or else be deemed difficult or strange.
You and Colin are on a solid streak of jokes about braided hairstyles - looking like fishing baskets and being so tight as to stretch one’s brain - with Anthony trying to suppress his snorts of laughter behind you, when out of nowhere, Benedict approaches.
“Ah, brother…” Colin starts, but Benedict cuts him off, not even looking in his direction.
“Miss y/l/n, might I have this next dance?”
Anthony goes rigid. Colin’s mouth falls open. You shake your head in surprise, nearly spilling the glass of punch you hold. “Benedict? You hate dancing.”
“Yes, well, there is little else to do, isn’t there?” There is something nervous in his eyes though he is keeping his voice smooth. “I know you’ve kept your dance card deliberately empty so, come on now.” He extends his bent arm for you to take. “Humor me.” The lopsided smile returns.
Flabbergasted, you hand your glass back to Colin and take Benedict’s arm. Looking back as he guides you to the dance floor, both of his brothers shrug at you, as surprised as you are at this unusual turn of events. Somehow, through charm and diversion, Benedict has managed never to dance at a single ball this season. He is so good at drawing one into a story, and so adept at cracking a joke and slipping away with a smile, he spends every ball hovering on the perimeter, keeping an eye on others and rescuing his sisters (and you) when the need arises. He told you that he didn’t enjoy dancing, and that he wasn’t very good at it, but as the musicians start to play, he is sweeping around you with ease, clearly familiar with each step.
You don’t know what to say. There is an intensity burning in his eyes that you have never seen before. He’s not being cheeky, he is genuinely focused on dancing with you. You pivot and step around one another, edged in by all the other dancing couples. The song is low and yearning, something romantic. You rest your arms atop Benedict’s and look up at him as you mirror one another’s steps. His jaw is set at such a serious angle. His eyes are searching. Then you pull back and he twirls you under his arm, your gloved hand pressing up against his bare one. Those large hands, encircling yours once again, then moving to your waist, your back, your shoulder, as you glide through the steps of the dance. He has never touched you so much, so closely. You can feel the heat of his palm through your gloves and your dress, searing imprints that linger on your skin.
You keep reminding yourself - he is just your friend. This is just a dance. But it is so out of character for him to be doing this at all, and to be looking at you that way. As confused as it makes you, you can’t look away, and you spend the dance locked in one another’s hold and one another’s gaze, as if there were no one else in the ballroom. When the dance is over, his hand lingers on the small of your back, his fingers pressing in more tightly than they should. You catch his eyes, grey-green beacons shining out under dark lashes, and you swallow audibly. Then he seems to remember himself, steps back, bows curtly to you and walks briskly out of the room without another word.
Anthony and Colin were watching the entire time, eyes as round with shock as yours, and Colin darts off after his brother. Anthony, seeing you stunned and abandoned in the middle of the dance floor, comes to your side, takes your arm and reassures you that his brother must be in one of his ‘bohemian moods’ or ‘taking tea’ though you’re not quite sure what that means. He keeps you occupied by dancing with you, and then walking with you to find Eloise, but Benedict and Colin never return.
You decide not to divulge anything to Eloise because you would only look foolish. Why should you care that her brother danced with you and then left? You are all just friends and Benedict clearly has things on his mind. You start to convince yourself that you must have upset him in some way. Maybe for ridiculing his favorite painting at the gallery? You had thought it was all in good fun. Maybe you don’t know him as well as you thought you did. It is all very confusing and you spend the night in a cloud of frustration and doubt.
Two nights later is the Smythe-Smith musicale, hosted at Bridgerton House. It is the last event you will attend for the season, and you don’t even want to go. You don’t want to risk seeing Benedict and dealing with whatever confounding mood he is in, that you have now convinced yourself is entirely your fault. But your parents have insisted, and it is your last opportunity to see Eloise before you both depart for your country homes for another half year, and so you find yourself stuffed in the Bridgerton’s main hall, trying to disappear behind columns or melt into the curtains. You tell your mother you need to powder your nose and manage to sneak out a side door and into the back garden, welcoming the cool night air.
You don’t want to return inside, and wander over to the massive oak tree. You settle down onto one of the two swings hanging there, wrap your hands around the ropes and close your eyes, enjoying the quiet. It only lasts a moment, before a voice softly calls out your name.
Your eyes fly open to see Benedict, looming out of the shadows of the house, walking slowly toward you. He has that same burning, intense look on his face. So different from the easy mirth he normally shows. He is dressed smartly, navy coat and a patterned waistcoat, with a tie of dark blue silk.
“Benedict!” Your heart is pounding, surprised by his sudden appearance and also desperately nervous about what to say. So you state the obvious. “We shouldn’t be alone out here.”
That’s the last thing you would need. To be caught alone with a man and rain scandal down upon you both, when he is already upset with you.
He steps closer, only a few yards away now. His voice is low. “That shouldn’t be a worry for much longer.”
Oh god, his tone is threatening something. Something serious. “Why?” You stutter. “Are you going to cast me out?”
This stops him in his tracks and he scrunches up his face. “What?”
Now you feel annoyed. Does he not remember how he last treated you? Can he not just be forthright with his feelings? Emboldened, you confront him, but keep your place in the swing.
“Are you cross with me?” You ask clearly.
His mouth drops open but he stays silent. You continue.
“I’ve clearly upset you. The Cowper ball? You would barely speak to me, then you ran off.”
Something lights across his face. Realization, understanding. Then his features harden again, but there is a small smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. He starts to stalk toward you again.
“Yes, you have upset me.”
He is standing over you now, looking down with glimmering eyes, their light color piercing through the dark night. It feels like all of your bones have just turned to liquid. You’re finding it hard to breathe under his stare. He is so tall, so imposing, he is everything you can see. You want to rail at him, you want to make him explain himself and his rude behavior, but the strength is leeched from your muscles and your voice.
“How?” You waver.
“You’ve stolen from me.” His voice is dark velvet. Pointed, but not angry.
Your mind reels. Your voice comes out just barely above a whisper. “Stolen what?”
Then he reaches out and wraps his cool, long fingers around your left hand holding the rope, and gently pries until you let go. He guides it toward himself as he sinks down on one knee. Your head starts to spin. You have completely lost control of your breath. You can’t look away from his eyes as he slips your hand under the top of his waistcoat and holds it there. Through his thin linen shirt you can feel his heart pounding against your fingertips, matching the speed and intensity of your own. A smile finally breaks across his face and lights his eyes, the cheerful Benedict you have come to know.
Oh god…oh god…he means… He is glowing looking at you, your eyes now at level height as he perches on one knee. One knee…
You feel a bit dizzy, overwhelmed with what is happening. You couldn’t possibly be this lucky. He couldn’t possibly… But he is grinning so broadly, leaving you with little doubt. There are fireworks whistling through your ears and your stomach is doing backflips. What a cheeky devil to intimidate you up to the last moment.
Breathless, you still manage to quip back at him. “How can I have stolen it if it is still in your chest?”
Then he rubs his thumb across the back of your hand, pressing it harder against him, and he brings his other hand up to cup your face, gently trailing that thumb to trace your bottom lip. His eyes grow soft, soulful.
“It doesn’t belong to me anymore.”
And then he confesses his love for you, his admiration, his adoration. You make him feel like no other woman has. You excite him, challenge him, comfort him in a way he didn’t know was possible. You are his friend and his muse and his love, and he wants you as his wife. You bare your soul to him as well, telling him about the flame he sparked that day of the snowstorm, and how you have fought to keep it hidden all this time. That you had disdained the marriage mart because you assumed you would never find a husband that actually filled you with passion, but that he was the only one who had, the only one you believed ever could.
You laugh and sigh and cling to each other, divulging all of your feelings, all of your truths. Then his large hands gently cup your face and he guides you into a deep kiss, the warmth spreading all the way from your lips to your toes.
You leave the season in quite the most unexpected state. Not disgruntled and lonely, but blissful and betrothed, and to Benedict Bridgerton no less.

Mr. Responsible
Reader is she/her.  I’ll put the translations at the end.
THE GRIP HE HAS ON ME...WOOF WOOF
a bit angsty, mention of injury
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Miguel O'Hara, also known as Spider-Man 2099, found himself intrigued by a new recruit named Y/N. She was everything he wasn't—outgoing, impulsive, and full of energy. Miguel couldn't deny the sparks that flew whenever they interacted, but their contrasting personalities often led to fiery arguments.
One sunny afternoon, Y/N was zipping around the HQ, engaging in a friendly competition with another recruit. Miguel watched from a distance, admiring her fearlessness. As she triumphantly celebrated her victory, Y/N spotted Miguel leaning against a wall, observing her with a smirk.
"You see that, Miguel? That's how a real Spider handles business," Y/N boasted, playfully jabbing at him.
Miguel raised an eyebrow. "Sure, if you call reckless behavior and endangering innocent lives 'handling business.'"
Y/N's grin faltered, her playful expression morphing into irritation. "Hey, I get the job done, don't I?
Miguel sighed. "It's not just about getting the job done. We have a responsibility to protect people, and that means using our powers wisely and responsibly."
Y/N crossed her arms, her face defiant. "Oh, here we go with your lectures again, Mr. Responsible."
Miguel's eyes narrowed, his voice tinged with frustration. "Someone has to be responsible around here. It's not all fun and games."
Their bickering continued throughout the week, but beneath their arguments, something deeper began to blossom. Despite their constant clashes, Miguel couldn't deny the growing admiration he felt for Y/N's fearlessness. And Y/N, in her own way, began to appreciate Miguel's dedication to keeping everyone safe.
One evening, after yet another heated debate, Y/N stormed out of the main control room, frustration etched across her face. Miguel followed, catching up to her in the hallway.
"Y/N, espera!" he called out, his voice laced with concern.
Y/N halted, her back to Miguel, her shoulders tense. "What, Miguel? More lectures? I don't need your constant nagging."
Miguel sighed, taking a step closer. "Dios mio,It's not about nagging. I just worry about you, okay? You take unnecessary risks, and it scares me."
Y/N turned around, her eyes flashing with defiance. "I can take care of myself, you know. I don't need you to hold my hand."
Miguel's voice softened. "I know you're capable, Y/N. But we're a team, and we look out for each other. Solo prometeme, you'll be careful."
Y/N looked away, her voice barely above a whisper. "I promise."
Days passed, and Y/N couldn't shake the uneasiness growing inside her. She had gone on a solo mission, determined to prove her independence. However, the mission took an unexpected turn, leaving Y/N injured and struggling to conceal her pain.
Back at the HQ, Miguel noticed the worry etched on his teammates' faces. He felt a pang of guilt, realizing Y/N was missing. His anxiety reached its peak, and he raced to find her. He discovered her hunched over in the infirmary, clutching her injured side.
"Y/N!" Miguel exclaimed, rushing to her side. "Que paso? Why didn't you tell anyone?"
Y/N's eyes glistened with tears. "I didn't want you to say 'I told you so.' I didn't want to let you down."
Miguel's heart ached as he gently touched her face. "Y/N, I care about you. I don't want you to get hurt. But when you're hurt, I want to be there for you. We're in this together."
Y/N looked up at him, her defenses crumbling. "I'm sorry, Miguel. I shouldn't have kept it a secret. I was scared."
Miguel pulled her into a comforting embrace. "I understand, Y/N. Let's focus on healing now. And next time, let's face our fears together." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dios mio: My god espera: wait prometeme: promise me que paso: what happened?

I remember
Nervous was an understatement. Y/N wasn't the type of girl to go out clubbing often, at least not anymore. However, she had exhausted all excuses to deny her older sister and her best friend's invitations, leaving her only with the option to finally say yes. One night won't hurt, she thought, probably in an attempt to convince herself.
As she finished getting ready, she stopped to see her reflection in the large mirror leaning against the wall of her bedroom. The chosen dress stood out so easily, not only for the way it fitted perfectly along the curves of her body but also for its stunning dark green colour. She liked what she saw. She felt confident and beautiful for the first time in a long time.
Unconsciously, her hand searched for the silver chain around her neck and touched it gently. A nervous tic that became ordinary in her daily life, seeking some comfort in the delicate piece of jewellery that meant so much to her.
Suddenly, her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of her bedroom door opening, her two companions for that night appearing. Clearly too excited to be sober, they were laughing like this was the best night of their lives, which was partially true. Just the fact that they were finally able to persuade Y/N to go out with them, an idea that had seemed impossible a few days before, was reason enough to celebrate. So why not start partying now and have a few shots while they waited for her?
"Oh. My. God. Who are you?!" "Damn, looking hot, sis!" Maddie and Noa said excitedly, their eyes admiring the look. The three girls laughed, as Y/N took a little spin, showing off jokingly.
"Thank you, thank you!" She said, giggling a little nervously. "Are you guys ready to leave?" She asked, grabbing her small black purse.
"Let's go, bitches! The club awaits us." Maddie announced and grabbed the two sisters by their arms, pulling them along the stairs towards the exit.
They called an Uber and set off toward their destination, knowing full well that none of them had plans to make it to the end of the night with the ability to drive back to the house. It was their night to enjoy and have fun after all.
About twenty minutes later, Y/N's eyes couldn't help but appreciate the glamorous and luminous entrance with some nostalgia, as they waited patiently in line to get in. The contrast between the pink and green neon lights adorned the name of the place. Y/N hadn't been there for months. Too long perhaps, she thought.
As they walked inside through the dark, long hallways to the bar, her heart skipped a beat. What are the odds? What are the chances that it's playing the exact same song from that fateful night? She looked at the other two beside her and saw them start to sing and dance, carefree. They don't even know, snap out of it, Y/N. The young woman gave them a fake smile, trying to look equally unbothered.
But that was a lie.
She still remembered. She still remembered that night when she met him, in that very own bar.
Good girl, sad boy
Big city, wrong choices
We had one thing goin' on
I swear that it was somethin'
'Cause I don't remember who I was
Before you painted all my nights
A color I've searched for since
Her sister quickly managed to get drinks for everyone and pulled them with her onto the dance floor, ensuring the party would go on. The three friends started moving to the music together, laughing and hugging each other. It meant so much to them all to be there with each other. It had been too long since the last time.
However, Y/N couldn't escape the feeling that something was going to happen. Maybe it was just anxiety talking, maybe some kind of premonition. Who knows? Regardless, her right hand escaped again towards her necklace. As soon as she felt the cold from the silver against her skin, she felt a shiver down her spine. You're being ridiculous, Y/N. Forget it.
She tried to let go of all those nervous thoughts. However, she realized it was going to be mission impossible as soon as his face popped into her head. And with that, all the associated feelings. The pain. The heartbreak. Brought by something so unexpected and unplanned... But it was special, it was intense, it was... unique.
"Hey! I know what you're doing, so stop it right now!" Maddie said loudly in her ear, trying to be heard over the music. "C'mon! We're here to have fun. Don't think about him. Forget it, it's been a year." Y/N felt some discomfort in her best friend's voice, maybe even a bit of annoyance. But who was she to judge? Her friend was the one that had to pick up the pieces of her heart after that one-night adventure.
"I know, I know! I promise I'm here to be with you guys, not to be in a bad mood!" Y/N nodded.
"Enjoy yourself! Go dance with that hottie over there! He won't stop looking at you." Noa smirked, joining the conversation.
So you did exactly that. Time passed, her mates nowhere to be seen, as she continued to dance with the young man, whose name she didn't even bother to ask. It's just an innocent flirt, she thought. The front of him against her back, his body heat warming her up. He did try to make some advances, but so far without success.
And then, like a meteor strike, she saw it.
She saw him.
And the whole world stopped just like it did one year before.
But one thing after another
Fuckin' situations, circumstances
Miscommunications and I
Have to say, by the way
I just may like some explanations
And he saw her too, almost like magnets attracted to one another.
He remembered everything. Absolutely everything.
Her soft eyes. Her amazing body. The way it moved. Her contagious laugh. Her sweet voice. Her passionate moans.
The world changed for both of them on that fatidic night, so they just stood there. Staring in shock. They never thought they would see each other again... Especially with the abrupt way that night ended, ruining that once-in-a-lifetime magical and blissful experience.
His eyes strayed from hers, filling with jealousy as he looked at the body behind her. The audacity of this man, the girl thought. And with that, she grabbed the plastic cup in the mystery man's hand beside her, drank it in one go, in search of liquid courage, and started her way towards the man before her.
"Y/N." He whispered, frozen to the ground as she approached him.
"Lance. I just would like some explanations."
Can I ask you a question?
Did you ever have someone kiss you in a crowded room
And every single one of your friends was makin' fun of you
But fifteen seconds later, thеy were clappin' too?
Then what did you do?
Wearing a much more conservative dress, clearly stolen from her older sister's closet, Y/N ended up sitting alone in that bar, abandoned by Noa who was somewhere on the dance floor with a random guy. This was not her typical vibe at all and it was her first time in that club. So, she was bored out of her mind, having fun just people-watching.
Her eyes eventually gravitated to a drop-dead gorgeous boy as he took the seat beside her, but she wasn't going to approach him. I could never, she thought. Maybe Noa would, but I could never.
Y/N couldn't help but glance in his direction from time to time, curious. But since she wasn't going to act, fate got to work and the girl ended up losing her balance against him, accidentally pushed by a boy who was too drunk to walk straight.
"I'm so sorry. Someone bumped into me." She looked at him, apologetic. The tanned man, not a word. Just a quick nod and completely ignored her, not even looking at her.
Oh, okay.
She couldn't forget that awkward interaction and, without thinking, spoke in the direction of the brunette.
"Can I ask you a question?"
As their eyes met for the first time, butterflies invaded her stomach.
Did you lеave her house in the middle of the night? Oh
Did you wish you'd put up more of a fight, oh
When she said it was too much?
Do you wish you could still touch her?
It's just a question
"Are you okay? You look sad." She asked, shocked at her own behaviour.
He can't explain it, but for some inexplicable reason, he found himself venting to a complete stranger in a bar about all the stress he felt due to his work. Not mentioning what he actually did, of course. The season was going bad. The worst of his career possibly. But talking to someone who didn't have a clue who he was was refreshing.
And the way she constantly nodded, and said small words, to assure him that she was hearing what he was saying.
She was beautiful. Her flushed cheeks revealed her shyness, but that made her even more charming to him.
Eventually, tired of talking about himself, Lance took a risk and pulled her gently by the hand towards the center of the floor. His arm went around the girl's waist, and her arm followed, circling his neck.
The tension that had been building since the moment Y/N questioned him continued to evolve. Their eyes met, under the club lights, for a few seconds. Until her eyes strayed to the young driver's soft lips and noticing this, Lance kissed her in the middle of the crowded room.
Half-moon eyes, bad surprise
Did you realize out of time?
She was on your mind with some dickhead guy
That you saw that night
But you were on somethin'
"You left." She said, consumed with rage. "You left me. Alone, without explanation. Without a word, a note, a phone number. You just disappeared and now, on this night of all nights, you decide to show up here?"
Her eyes began to sting slightly, tears forming and threatening to fall. His eyes were filled with guilt and regret. Seeing her like this is punishment enough for what I did, he thought.
"It may have been just a one-night stand for you, but not for me. For me, it was so much fucking more." And with that, the young woman stormed out of the club, heading for the exit, leaving Lance speechless, motionless, not knowing what to do.
Don't lose her again, his brain screamed. So he ran after her like his life depended on it. When he finally reached her, he gripped her wrist, harder than he'd anticipated, driven by desperation.
Feeling the man's strength around her hand, she jerked her arm to free herself, pushing his chest for Lance to move away from her. However, her body moved towards his, contradicting herself. Her pain controlled her now, as she began to try to hit him in the chest, tears now flowing freely.
Lance couldn't take it. Not the pain, that I deserve, he thought. But being away from her. So as his hands managed to make her stop, his arms pulled her in, leaning his cheek against her head as she sobbed against his heart.
He could only understand one sentence.
"It may sound impossible, but I swear I fell in love with you that night."
It was one drink after another
Fuckin' politics and gender roles
And you're not sure and I don't know
Got swept away in the gray
I just may like to have a conversation
"And I fell for you too!" His voice rose. He cupped her face gently by her chin, allowing eye contact between the ex-lovers.
"I was in a difficult position, and you know it! It was an impulsive decision that I should never have made, but believe me when I say I regretted it the second I walked out that door!" His unexpected feelings exploded on his face and he was taken completely by surprise, eventually making an irrational choice that had plagued him for months. "I wanted to go back, but I didn't know how to reach you. I felt the same way, I swear on everything sacred in my life. I fell in love that night... and now, looking at you... I know these feelings never went away."
Time has stopped for them. Mirroring the past, they found themselves in the same place, in the same position, hearts beating fast. Almost as if they had never been separated by circumstances and miscommunications.
He smoothed her hair, trying to calm her down, feeling her grip on his shirt. Lance's first tear fell.
For the first time, she heard the words she had been searching for all this time.
"I'm sorry for what I did."
Can I ask you a question?
Did you ever have someone kiss you in a crowded room
And every single one of your friends was makin' fun of you
But fifteen seconds later, they were clappin' too?
Then what did you do?
After the kiss, they pulled away, staring at each other for a few seconds. Consumed by the atmosphere between them, it was as if no one else was in the room.
Until Y/N hears a random guy yelling a name. Looking over her shoulder, she saw two boys: one tall, skinny and the other blonde, handsome. "Go, Lance! Get it, my guy!" His friends made fun of him, clapping happily.
She laughed. "I think they are your friends?" The man chuckled nervously, hand behind his neck, and pulled her toward the exit, fingers intertwining.
As soon as she felt the cold outside, she turned to the brunette. "I was so fascinated by you that I totally forgot to ask your name." Embarrassed, and nervous, she continued. "I never do this kind of thing and now I'm kissing someone I don't even know."
He held her face and said softly. "I'm Lance, and you are...?"
"Y/N." She relaxed against his strong hands.
"Well, Y/N, you're the most gorgeous girl I've ever seen."
Did you leave her house in the middle of the night? Oh
Did you wish you'd put up more of a fight, oh
When she said it was too much?
Do you wish you could still touch her?
It's just a question
Fuck it, she thought to herself.
"Do you want to get out of here?" She asked, carried away by spontaneity.
Quickly, they ended up at her apartment door, lips pressed together, his hands exploring the curves of her body as Y/N searched for her house keys.
When they entered, she pulled him by his chain to her room. The tension continued to rise, hands and lips exploring their skin as if they were afraid to wake up from what felt like a dream.
Bodies aligned, as well as their souls. It was the two of them, just the two of them in the world during those hours.
However, as they descended from their highs, one of them remained on top of the world, while the other was overcome with guilt. What have I done, Lance thought, as reality hit him.
Working up the courage to look at her, his chest ached as he saw her with the biggest smile on her face, and half-moon eyes. He swallowed nervously.
"I have something to tell you."
Does it feel like everything's just like
Second best after that meteor strike?
And what's that that I heard? That you're still with her?
That's nice, I'm sure that's what's suitable
And right, but tonight
"You're sorry?" She couldn't help but ask. "That night, you made me feel things I never felt again. You took me to the top of the world… only to throw me down."
She changed. After the heartbreak, she spent months clubbing, hoping to see him again. She looked for him in other bodies. She cried. She screamed. She was never the same.
But worse than that… She never found what he gave her. It had been an experience of a lifetime she knew she would never get over. How many people can say they experienced love at first sight?
They stayed silent for a while until Lance's hands reached her face and he let his forehead touch hers. He sighed, eyes closed, at the comfort of his skin touching hers again.
He noticed the silver detail around her throat. Her necklace. His necklace.
As he was leaning in slowly, afraid to kiss her again after all this time, she interrupted. "Are you still with her?"
Can I ask you a question?
Did you ever have someone kiss you in a crowded room
And every single one of your friends was makin' fun of you
But fifteen seconds later, they were clappin' too?
Then what did you do?
"What the fuck do you mean you are with somebody?" She screamed, jumping out of bed.
"I- I have a girlfriend. I know it sounds bad, but I can explain-" Lance tried to justify his actions, desperate and scared.
With her sheets wrapped around her body, she started to cry. She felt used, and played.
He tried to grab her wrist, preventing her escape, but with no success. "This is too much." She said as she got in her bathroom, locking herself. She just sat there, on the tile floor, as her tears fell freely.
"Please." He pleaded. "Listen to me." Lance tried.
She just stood there, alone with her feelings. After some time, her crying stopped and she was just mad. She stormed out, asking him. "Why?" But she was left shocked.
He was nowhere to be seen. He had left.
With only his necklace left forgotten on her bedside table.
Did you leave her house in the middle of the night? Oh
Did you wish you'd put up more of a fight, oh (More of a fight)
When she said it was too much?
Do you wish you could still touch her?
It's just a question
"No. I broke up with her shortly after that." Lance admitted. "I couldn't keep you out of my mind. The guilt was eating me alive."
"I tried to talk to you." She told. "I came out of the bathroom, ready to hear you out, but you weren't there anymore."
Lost in their revelations, they both travelled through a thousand "what ifs", wondering how things could have been different.
"I never thought I would see you again." The driver confessed, interrupting.
"Do you wish you'd put up more of a fight?" She asked.
"Every day." He looked deeply into her eyes. "You made me feel complete for the first time in a long time. Only for me to be the one who screwed it up. It was a mistake."
"Do you think I was a mistake?" He can't, her head was spinning, afraid of suffering again.
"Not you. But my actions: the way I acted with you, with her. It was unfair." He admitted.
For the hundredth time that night, she unconsciously touched her necklace, noticing that his hand had found a place there as well.
"I'm sorry, and I hope you'll give me a chance to make up for my mistakes. Even if it takes every day of my life." He whispered, hopeful.
And just like that, she kissed him, putting together the pieces that had been left apart on that magical night.
"This might be the worst idea ever, but I'd love to start over." She spoke honestly, but now with a large smile and only love in her eyes.
He pulled away from her, leaving her confused.
"I'm Lance, and you are…?"
She laughed, holding out a hand for him to shake, playfully. "Y/N."
He ignored her hand. Instead, he pulled her face up to his and let his nose fondly caress hers.
"Well, Y/N, you're the most gorgeous girl I've ever seen."

happiny/chansey/blissey review? (what do you think they look like? i think chansey looks like an axolotl)
Tumblr media
Happiny is one of those baby Pokemon that just kind of... exist. It's got one or two little conceptual things going on with it to play into the egg theme—namely, it kind of looks like a boiled egg in a cup—but I don't really feel like it adds a ton to this line, especially when Blissey exists.
That said, Happiny isn't terrible or anything. It's at least visually distinct from the rest of the line, sporting a ponytail, blush cheeks, and a wrap-around pouch. I also think that it's kind of cute that it carries the oval stone it needs for evolution around because it thinks its an egg, even if it's a bit weird that a baby Pokemon would already be displaying broody behaviors.
Tumblr media
However, I don't like the pouch that much, mostly because it sticks out from the body in a weird way that makes it look like it's wearing pants or something. I get the egg cup idea, but it doesn't quite work biologically. It's the one part of the design that really throws it for me. It's also strangely complex for a baby Pokemon—maybe if it had less hair or something.
Tumblr media
On the plus side, the Happiny design we got is still a massive improvement over its beta design, which has a lot of bizarre elements like two egg pouches (shouldn't it have less instead of more) and a heart on its head that only looks like a heart and absolutely nothing else at all, no siree. I do kind of like how it keeps Chansey's frills and makes them bigger, and the face was a bit cuter, but nothing else about this design was working.
Tumblr media
Chansey itself, however, is pretty decent. The idea of a Pokemon carrying around eggs to help cheer up other Pokemon is pretty sweet, and it carrying an egg in its pouch feels fairly natural, even though pouches and eggs usually don't go together.
The other thing I like about Chansey is that it has a tail. It's a minor thing, but I like that unexpected anatomical detail—makes it feel a bit more like a living creature. It helps that the tail shape is mimicked by some "hair" on the head that looks a bit like axolotl gills or something. Granted, it's a bit weird that it has no tail, gains a tail, and then looses it again (Blissey loosing the tail is justified because it becomes more egg-like as it evolves, but Happiny not having a tail is a bit odder), but either way, it's fun.
Tumblr media
Unfortunately, Chansey's one of those Pokemon who's design has shifted over the years, and not in a good way. The above RB art shows it with A) more frills, which I like a lot, and B) a very different face. It's kind of a subtle change, but modern Chansey having a chin, smaller eyes, and a bigger mouth is kind off off-putting in a way. It's just a smidge too much detail, given the lack of definition anywhere else in the design.
Tumblr media
I think I might be one of the few people out there that prefers Blissey to Chansey. Like I said, I like Chansey's tail and it's fine conceptually, but I don't know, something about Blissey's design feels a bit better. It might be that the colors are better (more white in the design is contrasted with a much bolder pink), but I also like the additions of a color split halfway down the body—basically making it an inverse of its egg pouch.
I also like how it has the little feathery accents, which basically serve as an extension of Blissey's frills. These also come together to look very vaguely like a nurses' uniform, which is a nice detail conceptually, given that they often are used in Pokemon centers and their whole thing, aside from the egg, is caring for others.
Also, Blissey's face is a bit less uncanny, so that helps.
Tumblr media
There's also beta Blissey, which was orange(?) and had a more distinct apron, as well as keeping the tail. I do like the head frills on this design a bit more, but the apron shape is weird (the pouch is really far up, and the deep cute makes it look like it's not wearing a "shirt"), those frills on the side don't really look like frills at all, and the oval shape is odd as it makes it less egg-like. The design we got is a much better, cleaned-up version of this.
Tumblr media
Overall, I'm not a big fan of Happiny, but Chansey is a fun concept and Blissey does a good job expanding on it both visually and thematically. Good stuff.

The Punishment
Character: Nami Reader: female (cis) Word count: 2001 CW: explicit N.SFW content, sub Reader, masturbation, rough sex, discipline, brat taming, hair pulling, dildo penetration Prompt: What the hell, I was gone for five minutes? Requested by: @/psychedelic-ink A/N: Because the old post is broken and I can’t edit anything (rip), I need to repost this beauty. This fic is a part of Naughty Valentines, a collaboration event I was running with @/psychedelic-ink.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nami’s lips stopped on your collarbone when the loud explosion roared behind the door. You both let out irritated and tired sighs. It had been over a week since last time you had a moment for yourselves only—and of course, the lively crew didn’t let you enjoy it fully. Nami rolled on her back and punched the mattress, muffled thuds followed curses and Luffy’s laughter audible behind the wall.
“That’s it.” She muttered through clenched teeth. “I’m murdering them. All of them.”
Through half-closed lids you watched her throwing a night gown over her brief babydoll. She looked so beautiful, illumined with the warm light of candles. Gold danced on her skin, swirled with thousands of freckles, with the fire of her locks, with the shadow of scars underneath her tattoo. Even if she was shaking in rage, her beauty left you breathless. Goddess. Furious one, but a goddess nevertheless. You didn’t need her kisses and breath ghosting over your skin to feel warmth pooling between your legs, view alone was filling you with desire. You rolled on your side to hide impatient trembling and wiggling, but she didn’t pay much attention to you. As soon as she found shoes under the bed, she stormed out, ready to throw punches and curses alike.
You were left alone; half naked, in an empty and cooling down bed, with an abandoned vibrator left on Nami’s side. The little toy absorbed your attention like a black hole; you had been pleasing yourself with it as your girlfriend was peppering your neck and shoulders with kisses and caressing your breasts. The fun hadn’t properly started before crews’ antics interrupted you, you hadn’t pulled your panties out of the way yet, just had been rubbing the toy against your slit. As you rolled on your back, your body became exposed to the air draft; a cooler blow touched your core and made you realize how wet you were. Wet and needy, stirred and inflamed and abandoned, exactly as the vibrator thrown on the sheets.
She’s not going to be happy, you hesitated but your hand was reaching for the toy despite your thoughts. You knew Nami didn’t like to be excluded from your pleasure; even if she wasn’t joining, she loved to watch, sometimes to only watch, sometimes ordering you what to do. Masturbating behind her back, especially during a little unexpected break from your session, was like asking for trouble. She already was in an aggressive mood because of guys and their lack of brain cells. If you decided to play a brat card against her—
“Whatever," you muttered to yourself and kicked panties out of the way.
You shivered when you put the toy between your folds. It already cooled down, hard and cold plastic felt alien so close to your heat, but the contrast made you even more excited. You relaxed and spread your legs as wide as you found comfortable; choosing the lowest setting, you slowly dragged the vibrator along your slit and reached for the clit with the other hand. Soon the toy was coated in your arousal, your pussy itching for pleasure. Focused on chasing your bliss, you closed your eyes and relaxed, the toy found its place and slid into you with ease. Rubbing your clit with lazy strokes, you set a pace you loved and pleasured yourself without care for anything around. The sight of Nami’s body lingered in your mind: her big and soft breasts pressing against you, slightly pink blush covering her cheeks when she was aroused, freckles on the inner side of her thighs, cute and soft pubes surrounding her core like a fiery frame, little nibbles on your neck she liked to leave, her long and nibble fingers messing with you, the sweet lip balm on her lips, the fresh scent of her citrus perfumes...
Nami! So close yet so away! You needed her so badly!
Yet, when the door shot open and a familiar voice reached you, you jolted as if someone poured ice-cold water on you.
“What the hell?” Nami frowned, crossing arms on her chest. “I was gone for five minutes?”
“Sorry?” You flashed her a shy grin. From the place she stood she had a perfect sight on your core spread by the toy, there was no use to hide it. Doing your best to not avert your eyes and look as innocent as you could, you turned the vibrator off and put it back on its place. You tried to sit on your heels as well, but Nami was faster: she pushed you on your back and straddled you.
“What was that, hm?” She brushed thumb against your parted lips, slid the tip between them and pressed on your tongue, prompting you to suck on it. “Baby girl couldn’t hold it for a few minutes?”
You did your best to make puppy eyes at her, still sucking and licking her finger as she wanted. She flashed you with a smile but her eyes had dangerous, sadistic gleam. You knew you were in trouble—and you knew she was going to teach you a lesson you wouldn’t forget for a long, long time.
No wonder your body trembled at the mere thought.
“Turn on your tummy.” Nami slipped from your hips, opened the drawer with the toys. “Face down, ass up.”
You switched position as she wanted—but a devilish thought crossed your mind. You already misbehaved, what would happen, if you played a brat a little bit more? Grinning, you sat on your heels, back to her, a challenging look thrown at her over your shoulder.
“I’m counting to five—” She took out her favorite strap and one of the biggest dildos you owned— “and you better do as I said before I'm finished.”
You made yourself comfortable and flashed her with stupid, overly confident grin.
“One.” The dildo was set ready. Nami threw away the gown and the babydoll; her lace panties were almost transparent. Your mouth watered at the sight of pubes peeking from underneath like a fire.
“Two.” She put the strap on; her moves were sharp and tense, her eyebrows frowned even more. She was angry, oh so angry. You licked your lips, you knew she was going to get rough.
“Three.” She spread lube along the toy, lots of it. Yet, you didn’t move for even an inch; your whole body trembled in anticipation.
“Four.” The mattress dipped as she climbed the bed. You finally broke eye contact, fire in her gaze too intrusive for you to bear. You clenched fists on your knees, but the need to move was overpowered. Nami ran her nails up your spine, the last warning, the last chance for you to show submission.
You didn’t listen.
“Five.” Grasp on your hair was sudden and harsh, almost painful. You hissed, but you didn’t have much time to protest or fight against her—your head was smashed down, face into pillows. She kept you like this for a longer moment, another hard pull turned your head on its side to let you breathe. With the corner of eye you saw Nami towering over you, face tense but flushed, eyes serious but burning with desire. You let out a shaky breath, feeling the tip of plastic cock probing your cunt, feeling her long and sharp nails scratching your scalp.
“I was too gentle with you lately,” she hummed, teasing your slit with the toy. “Should have reminded you of your place before you got insolent.”
You barely held a scream back when she entered you. The toy was big for you even with preparation; you were slick with your juices and lube, but you weren’t stretched. The size made your eyes tear, your throat clenched on painful hiss, your back arched as the flee instinct kicked in. Grasp on your hair tightened, Nami pushed your head deeper into the mattress, the other hand rested on your hip and held it in place. Nails sunk into your skin—you knew you were going to have marks, if not bruises, left.
She gave you a moment, to reconsider, to say the safe word, if you needed to—but you only gave her a bold look.
“As you wish,” she chuckled and slapped hips forward.
It was fast, rough, wild. She pounded into you without mercy, each thrust followed by a firm pull on the back of your head, by a push down, by a scratch on your hip. The toy reached the depths you thought they were impossible to be discovered, the stretch balanced on the verge of discomfort. You still tried to fight back, but immense pleasure soon threw all rebellious thoughts out of your mind. Clenching on the sheets, you rose hips and arched the back as her hands guided you.
“You like it, you naughty thing?” Nami mused as your mewls broke through the barrier or pillows. “You like being punished?”
She let go of your hair to grasp your hips better; she bent over you and slammed into you with a new power. With her cock hitting the deepest realms of your cunt, with her perky nipples brushing against your shoulder blades, with her orange locks falling like a curtain over your head you couldn’t do anything but succumb to pleasure, to give your body and thought to her and her only. You lost control over your lips, your torso slammed down, pushed by her thrusts and merciless grasp. She let you lay flat, nestled on the back of your thighs, grabbed your cheeks and held on them, rocking her hips back and forth.
So deep. So fast. So rough. So big.
“Nami!” You moaned, almost choking on your own tongue. She answered you with a throaty purr, the tip of dildo brushed your special spot and it hit you like an electric shock.
“You like it like that, hm?”
You tried to answer her, but your cries overpowered your words. She didn’t wait for it though; one hand sneaked underneath you, found your clit with ease and pinched it. Another jolt arched your body, the tight knot in your abdomen pressed down, ready to burst any second.
“Such a naughty, lewd girl.” Nami slowed down, withdrew, adjusted the angle—and slammed the whole toy at once into you, rubbing harsh circles on your clit at the same time. You arched so much your whole body bent without her pulling on your hair. With a loud moan of her name, you came, spasms of pleasure tossing your body underneath her. Nami waited for you to calm down, to catch breath and thoughts, to come back from the bliss; her hand grazed soothing circles on the small of your back, your own juices—covering her fingers—stained your heated skin. Wet marks felt cold in the air, you sighed as goosebumps and last shivers of pleasure spilled along your body.
“Are you okay?” She investigated. She pulled out of you, the emptiness felt weird for your stretched pussy. You closed your eyes, embarrassed by its rapid twitching. Nami ran fingers along your slit for the last time, proud of the mess into which she turned you. “I wasn’t too rough, was I?”
“It was perfect,” you somehow choked out. Nami kissed you between your shoulder blades and wiped you with a clean, soft towel. Soon, you were safe and sound in her arms, pulled close to her bosom, covered with a blanket. Tired but happy, you inhaled her scent, scent of tangerines and love you two had just ended making.
“You did well, my little brat.” Nami rubbed your cheek with a thumb. “You’re impossible, you know? I would never have thought you would pull out such a stunt.”
“I have many hidden talents,” you muttered, voice muffled by her soft breasts as you nuzzled up to her. She kissed your forehead, lingered to inhale your scent, rubbed circles on your temple with a thumb.
“Can’t wait to discover them,” she whispered and intertwined her legs with yours.

CHAPTER 1.THE BEGINNING
❝Your laughter vines through my hair, roots growing into my heart.❞

AGE: 7
Happily playing in the sandbox, laughter and shouts of your classmates filled the air as you basked under the sun's warmth.
Its rays shone down, the sunlight making the flower bulbs glow like tiny stars within your hair (sadly, the only time you truly appreciated them).
Recess was always the highlight of your day, a chance to break free from the confines of the classroom.
"Okay, class! Recess is over, time to let the next class have fun!" Miss Teiko's voice cuts through the buzz, calling everyone back inside.
But as always, it ended too soon.
Reluctantly, you trudged back towards the school building, your gaze drifting across the yard as if to forever remember the fun you just had.
And that's when you see them: Midoriya and Bakugo, heading out for their own period of recess.
Ever since your visit to their class a couple of weeks ago, you've began noticing the two more often when passing in the halls or transitioning to recess – like now for example.
You perk up when the greenette catches your eye, quick to throw a wave and bright smile which he (albeit shyly) returns with his own.
Once back in the classroom, you settle into your seat with a hum of content; the familiar structure of desks and colorful drawings on the wall surrounding you in comfort.
That's when it happened – you felt it first, a tiny tickle, deep inside your nose. Your face scrunch up, eyes squeezing shut in attempts of stifling it, but the sensation grew stronger.
With an almost explosive force, you release a thunderous sneeze.
"ACHOO!!"
The unexpected sound echo throughout the classroom, startling everyone. You blink, eyes opening to view of frozen and surprised faces.
Embarrassed, you feel bad about causing such a loud disruption and bashfully apologize. "S-sorry..."
"No need to apologize." Miss Teiko is the first to break the silence, a reassured grin on her face. "However, that's not why the class is silent."
"W-what?" Growing more confused, realizing their gazes were focused above your head made you immediately think the worst.
Shakily, you reach up, feeling delicate petals where there should have been hair and hard small bulbs. 'Wait...'
You look up at Miss Teiko in disbelief. Her widening grin and giddy nod only eggs you on, making you scramble from your tiny chair in a rush.
The whispers and clambering of your trailing classmates were ignored as you scurried to the Affirmation Station; a mirror decorated with positive messages, whimsical clouds, and fluttering butterflies.
Once in front of the mirror, the image of your reflection made you see what made the others speechless:
In your hair, various cherry blossoms adorned it, creating a stunning floral crown. The petals, a blend of soft whites and delicate pinks, contrasted beautifully against your hair.
Each petal to its flower was perfectly shaped, nestled within your curls as if they had just freshly fallen from a cherry tree.
The room burst into a cacophony of awe and excitement as your classmates crowded around you, their earlier shock turning into fascination.
"Wow!" One of them exclaimed, their eyes wide.
"Did you see that?!"
"She just sneezed and bam! Flowers!"
You stood there, a bit dazed. The center of attention due to a simple human moment, the best part of your quirk happened....because of a sneeze??
 "You even smell nice!"
"Oh!" Another added, leaning in to catch the sweet fragrance. "It's like... cherries!"
As they drew nearer, they began to realize the sweet scent wasn't just lingering around in the air — it was emanating from you, every part of you.
Denji, the self-proclaimed fearless clown of your class, boldly picks up your hands and takes a deep whiff.
Startled, you snatch it back with a disturbed look of disgust. But the hard look of determination and assuredness on the scruffy blonde's face was more than enough to make you falter as he pointed an accusing finger with a sharp toothy grin.
"Yup! It's coming from her alright!" His brownish yellow eyes gleamed in excitement, making the bags underneath more prominent as he continued to stare at you in wonder. "Even the sweat in her palms smell like a cherry tree!"
Miss Teiko, intrigued, steps closer and takes a gentle sniff herself. "Remarkable," she murmurs, "Your quirk has adapted quite uniquely."
You couldn't help but smile, a mix of pride and amusement heating your face.
Others began to lean in close and breathe in deeply, their faces lighting up with delight and fascination.
"How lucky!"
"I wish I smelled like that!"
"Man! Bet she never has to take a bath again..."
Amidst the flurry of excitement, a girl timidly approaches your side. "Can I touch one?" she asked, pointing to a blossom.
"Sure," you reply with a soft smile.
As she gently brushed a petal, her eyes lit up. "So pretty," she whispered, releasing a dreamy like sigh.
Her genuine admiration was so infectious a surge of generosity welled up inside. The joy and wonder your quirk had brought to the class were palpable,  you wanted to share it even more.
"Would...would you like one?" you offered, voice tinged with uncertainty. She pauses for a moment before her eyes grow wide at your words.
"Y-yes please! If you don't mind!"
As the girl's hopeful eyes met yours, you carefully wrap your fingers around the base of one of the cherry blossoms and gently pluck it off.
A sudden, sharp sting shot through you, startling in its intensity..
Not fully knowing what to expect,
Your brow slightly furrow at the pain, the feeling was similar to yanking a strand of hair directly from the scalp.
The moment the flower left its place in your curls, you felt a twinge of loss. It was as if a small part of you had been given away, a piece of your soul shared in physical form.
You concealed the discomfort with a smile, masking the pain with the grace of the blossoms themselves.
Though a part of you hated the feeling, seeing they way she held the flower so delicately between her fingers made it bearable.
Her joy was evident, made your other classmates want one. And so, one by one, they came forward, each asking for a flower of their own.
And with each flower you gave away, you felt a mix of happiness and a twinge of discomfort. But seeing the giddy and hopeful faces of your classmates was all worth it.
With every wince you covered with a smile; and soon the air was filled with the sweet scent of cherry blossoms and the sounds of delighted chatter.
Finally, it was Miss Teiko's turn. Despite her initial decline, you hand her a flower, preening at the sight of her face lighting up with a laugh. "Class! Let's all thank Akashiya for the gift before we go back to our seats!"
"THANK YOU ____!" Not expecting them to use your first name (since you thought they really didn't like you as much) your face grows hot, smile pulled to it widest capacity as the screams and whoops and cheers of thanks are thrown your way. Some even go as far as giving bows and jumps of celebration.
Your lips tremble from joy before you give them a bow as well. "Y...you're welcome! Happy to please!"
Feeling a hand pat your back, you look up and meet Miss Teiko adorning a warm smile. "Thank you," she said softly, her eyes reflecting the same happiness you'd seen in your classmates.
"Now back to our seats!" Turning back to the class, she begins to round them up causing giggles and squeals to erupt. "Shoo! Shoo!!"
Taking one last glance at the mirror, you pause upon seeing and realizing only one flower remained.
A pang of sadness hit you. Your knew how much your mom had been looking forward to seeing the full bloom of your bulbs.
You also knew how her bright smile turning into a soft, understanding one when she learn you shared your flowers with others. Especially being a soft-hearted person herself.
Making your way to your seat, you decide to save the last one for your mom. She always shared in your excitement of anything about your quirk, so you knew she would cherish this small gift.
You twirl the flower in your hair gently as you firmly nod in acceptance. 'Yeah. Mom will get this o-'
Playful shouts and laughter from outside breaks your thoughts, turning your attention towards the window. And that's when you a spot a green head of hair all by himself on the playground.
Midoriya.
He was huddled in a corner, scribbling in his notebook, occasionally sending longing glances towards where the rest of his classmates were – most notably where Bakugo, the ever-proud and loud leader, was.
Seeing the person who defended and showed you kindness, so alone, made your heart sad. Without a second thought, you knew what you had to do.
"Miss Teiko," You raise your hand with a stern face of resolve, "May I use the restroom, please?"
"Of course, please be quick," she nods with a soft smile.
Once granted permission, you leave the room and stealthily make your way to Izuku's classroom. It was empty, the door open just wide enough to sneak inside.
You knew exactly where his cubby was. Your heart raced as you approached it, the distant sounds of his classmates playing outside, their joyous noise a stark contrast to the greenette's isolation.
"For being a good friend...Izuku." You whisper to yourself, plucking the last flower from your head with a wince before gently placing it inside his cubby.
Heading back to your own classroom, you imaging his surprise when seeing the gift causing a smile tugging at the corners of your lips with a giggle.
You couldn't wait to tell your parents about the what happened today!
═════════════════*˚✿❀༓❀✿*˚*══════════════════
The day has not been well to Midoriya Izuku.
And now, in the quiet of the almost-empty classroom, he felt the weight of it all. The taunts and jeers from Bakugo and his new followers had been particularly harsh, leaving Izuku feeling deflated and alone.
As his classmates poured out the room with laughter and chatter; Izuku slowly gathered his books and bag with a heavy mind.
Reaching his cubby, the freckled boy freezes when his gaze fall upon something in his cubby.
There, sitting next to his giant crayon pack, lay a single, delicate cherry blossom flower. Its soft pink petals stood out vividly against the drab backdrop of his school supplies.
Izuku's heart skipped a beat.
He looked around, half-expecting to find someone watching or even there to claim a misplaced item, but the classroom was deserted.
With a mix of curiosity and caution, Izuku gently picks up the flower. It felt almost surreal in his hands, a fragile piece of beauty in stark contrast to the harshness of his day. 'Could this really be for me?'
Wanting answers (and still doubting himself), he approaches Miss Shoko as she finishes tidying up at her desk. "Excuse me...do you know who left this?"
Studying the flower for a moment, the woman draws a blank. Mirroring his own confusion, she gives him a simple shrug.
"I'm not sure, Midoriya" Miss Shoko replies with a kind smile. "Perhaps it's from a secret admirer? It's quite a beautiful flower."
'A secret admirer?' Her words send a wave of warmth through Izuku, tinting his cheeks a soft shade of pink.
Clutching the flower a little tighter, he gives her a stuttered thanks and steps out of the classroom.
As he walked through the school grounds, his usual furrowed brow was replaced by a small, contented smile. The unexpected and beautiful appearance of this flower had erased all the bad he felt today.
Dare say was all worth i-
"MY BABY!" The sudden, distressed wail of a woman cuts through the boy's monologue. Turning his head, Izuku spots a family of three – a woman on her knees, holding a young girl by the shoulders as a man calmly stood there with a stoic face.
The woman was almost theatrically shaking the girl, her voice loud and filled with concern. "WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR BEAUTIFUL PRUNUS AVIUM?! WAS IT BULLIES? DID THEY PICK THEM OFF?"
He looks as she softly replied to her mother. Though her words are lost to his ears, her demeanor seemed calm, almost reassuring.
Her mother, however, was just as dramatic as before; enveloping the girl in an exaggerated, teary hug as the father patted the sobbing woman's back with a resigned expression.
As if she felt him watching, the girl glanced over her mother's shoulder, her eyes meeting Izuku's. Her gaze moves to his hands before a bright fanged grin grows on her face, giving him a frantic wave.
Izuku felt a jolt of happiness at the sight, and happily waved back, just as his own mother appeared calling out to him. "Izuku, time to go home!"
The freckled mother patiently waits at the gate as he runs to her with a smile. First thing he does is show her the flower that's still secure in his grasp.
"Ooh! So pretty." The green haired woman leans closer and takes a sniff of the plant. "And it smells wonderful too! Who'd ya get it from?"
He groans at the question. "I don't know. I found it in my cubby. It wasn't there before recess, I know that for sure because I always get my superhero notebook from my backpack during recess! A-and Miss Shoko says it could be a s-" Izuku freezes, face growing aflame at even uttering the phrase.
But his mother connects the dots.
"You mean a," Warm and coy smile pulling at her lips, she begins to playfully tug at his cheeks. "Se-cret ad-mir-eeeeeer~"
"Mooooom!" The greenette whines at her teasing until she finally releases him with a giggle.
"No longer talking about that please. Especially if its not true. Probably was supposed to be in someone's else's cubby...like Kacchan" he huffs, rubbing his face as if it would lessen the redness already there.
The older woman could only give him a tsk and light tap on the head. "I'm sure whoever placed it there knew exactly where they were putting it."
"Yeah, if you say so..." Izuku halfheartedly shrugs, glancing at the ground in self-pity.
"I say so and mean it! Now did anything else happen after this little moment?"
Handing her the flower, he leans down and reties his shoes once noticing lacing coming undone. "Umm. Oh yeah! Right before you called me over a girl waved at me!"
"Oh! Maybe she's your secret admirer! Do you know her?"
"Mom," Izuku rolls his eyes, finishing the knot before doing his other shoe (always comes undone a few minutes later, might as well do it now). "Just because someone waves at me doesn't mean they're my admirer!"
"Okay okay, fair enough."
"Anyways, she had this fanged smile-"
"Oh! Oh! She's that girl who stayed in your class for the day right? Aka-a...ak-"
"Akashiya ____. And no, that wasn't her."
"....um, yes it was?"
Izuku pops up and stares at his mom in all seriousness. "How? She doesn't have the flower bulbs ____ had today. I seen her with my own eyes right before re-"
"Recess? And didn't you say that flower wasn't there before recess either? Hmm...makes ya think."
He freeze, all the dots connecting slowly in his mind. His mother could only watch with a shake of her head.
'Fruit cherry tree bulbs...typically bloom in early April...same time our school year began...bulb before recess = no flower before recess...no bulb after recess = flower after recess...that means-'
Izuku releases a body shaking gasp and turns back toward where he last seen you with a cry of shock. Alas, you were long gone with your family.
He whips his head to his mom. Constantly shifting between looking at the flower in her hands and where you last were.
Covering his mouth, a crimson wave washed over his body as the cackles of his mom echos in the back of his mind.
That was...you! YOU GAVE HIM THE FLOWER????

Aspiring Writers Guide: Part II
Tips For Writing Fiction:
Study your subject and the primary motivations, desires, insecurities, and fatal flaws that would plague the characters within the chosen setting/plot. Consider your narrative's culture and structure its "norms." How do your characters navigate these settings – conform, rebel, lead, follow? Structure your plot points around dilemmas, successes, and tensions that the reader would expect to occur within the plot you've set up.
Develop characters that you illustrate how they are a "product of their environment." Allow readers to get inside the characters' minds. Ideally, each character struggles with their own "moral dilemma" that they contemplate or attempt to work through over the course of the story. Build tension through plot points that provide contrast between characters with different "moral" scripts to undercover something deeper about each character and the fabric of their "society."
Embrace the "ugliness" inside of each character's mind – the deep or unprovoked thoughts that others relate to, but outside of a literary context, wouldn't dare to say out loud. Use show, not tell to display their flaws, triumphs, and other natural ebbs/flows that come with existing.
Have a plan for writing, but let the work finish itself, depending on how the characters develop themselves
Use descriptions, not observations to set the stage. Evoke and show provoked emotions, not describe the characters' feelings directly
Tips For Non-Fiction Writing:
Dive deep into a subject of interest, and consider its history, trends, and innovations. What conclusions or new perspectives can you articulate from this information?
Develop a multi-layered "thesis" to organize your ideas and clarify your POV. How do these interpretations help us come to unique and a deeper understanding of previous studies, research, anecdotes, and developments within this field of interest?
Begin your story on an unexpected or controversial note. Consider using a personal story or historical "fun fact" to draw the reader into the piece. Introducing your story with a personal story, question, or seemingly deviant question can easily hook your audience.
Give them a chance to ponder your new insights or thought-provoking ideas while reading your story. Use personal stories and research study findings to give authority to your story. Extract the main takeaways from these anecdotes, and use them to offer questions about the situations, dilemmas, or overall subject matter to your audience.
Be clear about your structure and how you organize your points. Ensure there's a logical flow between paragraphs, grafs, and sections (or chapters).
Don't forget to evoke emotion through your language and word choice. Allow your humanity to come through, use clever, relevant, humor. Make the audience feel like they're entering an educational fantasy land where the "storylines" envelop your mind as much as they do the page.

The quiet town of Forks, nestled in the evergreen forests of Washington, had always been a place of intrigue. Unbeknownst to most of its inhabitants, the supernatural world teemed beneath the surface, hidden in the shadows.
And in the midst of this enigma stood (Y/N), a tall and formidable figure at 6 feet 5 inches. She was Jacob Black's older cousin, an imposing presence, and a retired soldier who had seen her share of battles.
The relationship between (Y/N) and Jacob was less than harmonious. They clashed like fire and ice, rarely seeing eye to eye. Jacob's taunts about her height were met with indifference by (Y/N), whose maturity and composure were unshakable.
She had a presence that commanded respect, not through intimidation, but through an air of self-assurance.
While Jacob had embraced his connection to the supernatural world by shifting into a wolf, (Y/N) had found other ways to protect herself.
She had become skilled in martial arts and boxing, talents that she had honed through years of dedication. She reveled in her abilities, never harboring any resentment over her inability to shift like the Quileute wolves.
One fateful day, (Y/N) decided to pay a visit to the Cullen family, a clan of vampires who had chosen a different path by abstaining from human blood.
It wasn't the first time she had crossed paths with them; over time, they had formed a mutual respect for one another. Upon her arrival, the Cullens welcomed her, aware of her unique skills and experiences.
It wasn't long before (Y/N) found herself bonding with Renesmee, the half-human, half-vampire daughter of Edward and Bella.
Renesmee's curiosity and enthusiasm were a stark contrast to (Y/N)'s stoicism, but the two formed an unexpected connection. (Y/N) began giving boxing lessons to the young hybrid, teaching her how to channel her strength in controlled ways.
But as the days went by, the tranquility of their existence was shattered when the Volturi arrived in Forks. The ancient coven, known for their strict adherence to vampire law, had come to ensure that Renesmee posed no threat to their world.
Among them was Demetri, a skilled tracker with a unique ability to find anyone he sought.
As the Volturi made their presence known, (Y/N) was unfazed. She stood her ground, her unyielding confidence a stark contrast to the tension that hung in the air.
It was during this confrontation that Demetri's eyes met (Y/N)'s, and something shifted within him. The world around him seemed to fade as he recognized a connection that transcended his centuries of existence.
In the midst of a potentially volatile encounter, an unexpected bond began to form between (Y/N) and Demetri. Their connection was undeniable, a fusion of strength, experience, and an understanding of the supernatural world that few could comprehend.
And as the days unfolded, (Y/N) found herself entangled in a new chapter of her life, one that held the promise of both danger and unexpected love.
The air crackled with tension as the Volturi delegation confronted the Cullen family. (Y/N) stood by Renesmee's side, her presence unwavering despite the palpable unease that hung in the atmosphere. Demetri's gaze remained fixed on her, his red eyes betraying a curiosity and intensity that he couldn't ignore.
"(Y/N) Black," Aro's melodious voice rang out, drawing her attention. "Such an impressive lineage you have, connected to the Quileute wolves and yet separate from their gift."
"(Y/N)" simply inclined her head, acknowledging his words but not allowing herself to be rattled. She had dealt with her fair share of formidable opponents in her lifetime, and the Volturi were no exception.
As the conversation continued, (Y/N) found herself engaging in a subtle exchange of glances with Demetri. There was an unspoken understanding between them, a recognition of their shared strength and the complexities of the supernatural world. Despite the circumstances, a flicker of something more began to take root.
In the following days, as the tension eased and the Volturi's concerns were allayed, (Y/N) found herself spending more time with Demetri.
Their interactions were punctuated by discussions about their individual histories, the challenges they had faced, and the intricacies of their unique talents. It was a dance of words and emotions that neither of them could entirely resist.
One evening, as the setting sun cast a warm glow over the landscape, (Y/N) and Demetri found themselves alone in the forest. The silence between them was comfortable, unburdened by the need for constant conversation.
And then, as if guided by an unseen force, their hands brushed against each other.
Demetri's gaze met hers, his expression searching, and in that moment, the unspoken connection between them ignited into something undeniable. "You're unlike anyone I've ever met," he admitted, his voice carrying a rare vulnerability.
(Y/N) smiled, a hint of amusement playing at the corners of her lips. "Likewise. I've met my fair share of vampires, but you certainly stand out."
The tension that had once defined their relationship began to shift, replaced by a mutual understanding and a growing fondness. It was as if their differences had ceased to matter, replaced by the undeniable pull they felt toward one another.
As days turned into weeks, (Y/N) continued to divide her time between Renesmee's training and her interactions with the Volturi. Her connection with Demetri deepened, their conversations ranging from the weighty matters of the supernatural world to the simplest of shared moments.
One day, as the sun dipped below the horizon, Demetri took (Y/N) aside. "There's something I want to show you," he said, his eyes holding a mixture of excitement and uncertainty.
Guiding her to a secluded part of the forest, Demetri extended his hand, palm up. "Close your eyes," he instructed, his voice gentle.
(Y/N) complied, feeling a faint pulse of energy as Demetri's power intertwined with her own. In her mind's eye, images began to surface: moments from his past, fragments of his experiences, and the profound loneliness that had been his constant companion.
When (Y/N) opened her eyes, she met Demetri's gaze, a newfound understanding passing between them. It was a gesture of vulnerability and trust, a shared connection that transcended the supernatural world they inhabited.
“Where’d that come from?”
“Renesmee, learnt how to “give people” her power for a few minutes to allow them to share what they see and feel. It was amazing when she first shown me and I knew I had to ask her if I could use it just this once.” Demetri explains.
Their journey had taken an unexpected turn, guiding them toward a connection neither of them had foreseen. In the heart of the supernatural realm, (Y/N) and Demetri found themselves drawn together, their fates intertwined in ways that defied the boundaries of their respective histories.

I'm curious, is there any TTRPGs based around music? Either music making, or with music as a central theme.
THEME: Musical Games
Hello friend, I have a mix for you - games about musicians, games that use music, and games that leave you with a playlist at the end!

Spicepunk 1977, by Nick Kornek.
THE YEAR IS 1997 AND POP MUSIC RULES THE WORLD.
From their secret headquarters inside Big Ben groups of Spice Girls in tour busses are dispatched to solve all of the world’s most dangerous problems with girl power and music.
It is a better world, a brighter world, a SPICE WORLD.
SPICEPUNK 1997 is a rule-light tabletop roleplaying game set in the fantastical world of the Spice Girls. Play as a Spice Girl of your own creation and prepare yourself for the unexpected as your SPICE UP YOUR LIFE!
SPICEPUNK 1997 was created by Nick Kornek & Jeanne Elizabeth Vachon. It is based on Lasers & Feelings by John Harper
If you’ve ever wanted to be Car Mechanic Spice, Space Spice, or any other kind of Spice Girl, this is the game for you. You’ll decide on a Spicealty, create a tour bus, and get ready to save the world! Using Lasers and Feelings, Spicepunk 1977 calls the roll where you hit your chosen number “Spice Up Your Life”, which recommends using Story Cubes. If you don’t have Story Cubes, using something like Tarot Cards, a Codenames Deck, or anything with randomized, general images might work as a good substitute.
Sing as One, by Naomi Norbez.
Sing As One! is a TTRPG about being a singer in an up-and-coming group of young superstars.  All of you came from different paths of life, and have varied ambitions & goals, but are coming together in your quest to make music!
This game is inspired by franchises like Uta No Prince Sama, B-Project, Tsukipro/Tsukiuta, and aoppella.  Idol franchises are about fantasy fulfillment, and this TTRPG reflects that.  This game is centered on creating cool characters, quick sessions, and simple but fun gameplay.
Create your very own pop group using this 2-page game! This game uses d4s, d6s and d10s. There are two modes of play: inside and outside battles called Faceoffs. In Faceoffs, your characters will attempt to overcome obstacles or opponents, such as rival bands, rabid fans, or your own self-doubt. You’ll roll against your opponent’s skills. In contrast, outside Faceoffs, you’ll be rolling against a pre-determined level to do things like convincing another actor to participate in your music video, breaking into your manager’s car, or smuggling as much fast food as you can into your dormitory without security finding out.
This game is still in its beta stage, so you’re working with just the rules and a hint towards the kind of setting the game is designed for. If you want to use this game for more than a simple one-shot, I’d recommend using some of your session 0 time to talk about the world these pop stars inhabit - is it in the past? The future? On another planet? It’s up to you!
RoadTrip: The Musical RPG, by AgentDolly.
You are a few friends are going on a road trip, where are you going to go, who are you going to meet, and what music will you listen to along the way? These and many other questions will be answered in Road Trip: The Musical.
Road Trip: The Musical is a game designed for 1-5 players, and while it's recommended that you be actively on a road trip while playing, it is not required. To play, all you need is a way to make a playlist, this could be Spotify, an iPod touch, a CD, or just a piece of paper and a pen. All that matters is that you can keep track of the soundtrack for your road trip.
Each player will have a different role, such as The Driver, the Navigator, or the Snack Captain. Each role comes with a special ability, such as “I’ll turn this car around”, or “Pit Stop”. This allows you to affect song choices as long as they fit certain criteria! At the end of the game, you’ll have a playlist for the group to listen to when you actually hit the road, and you can remember the game you used to create it whenever you’re on the move.
Jukebox, by jarofeyes.
Jukebox is a musical roleplaying game, played over 4 hours, with 3-4 friends and a karaoke setup. You’ll play a cast of characters who are all struggling in their own way against an overwhelming challenge. During three acts, hidden longings will be revealed, grievances will be aired, and songs will be sung. Will old wounds and personal drama doom you all to failure? Or will you change and grow just in time to save the day?
Jukebox requires no preparation and is GM-less. This is a chance for you and your friends to write your very own musical, using your favourite songs. You will design an opening setting, and create characters with their own personal challenges, while using a deck of cards as your randomization tool. This might be worth looking into if you have a group of friends that needs to stretch their legs a bit, or need their roleplaying sessions broken up into chunks.
Super Holo Bards, by anniedisaster09.
Super Holo Bards is A Transformational, Totally Sensational Bardic Adventure game borrowing a few game creation elements from Lasers and Feelings. This game can be played with 1-5 players and has optional rules for a GM also known as the Band Manager if one is wanted/desired.
This is a game about heroes with magical instruments - your characters are secretly super-musicians, using your powers for good. The game has a built-in setting that feels renaissance-fantasy in nature, but changing the options on the GM guide tables and the player backgrounds is all you should need to put your characters in whatever setting you desire. Each player has the ability to cast magical spells, as well as the ability to transform into your heroic self! Be warned though, the transformation doesn’t last - and you need time to recharge after using a spell. If you like Lasers & Feelings but you want a little bit more to the game, Super Holo Bards might be worth checking out!
Damn the Man, Save the Music, by Turtlebun.
In Damn the Man, you’ll juggle the responsibilities of a day that will determine the future of your record store, all while trying to accomplish a big personal goal. Can you confess your love to your crush and find the money that went missing from the cash box? Can you pay off your debt to your parents while promoting tonight’s big show? The clock is ticking and you’ve got until midnight to try.
Damn the Man is inspired by movies like Empire Records, Dazed and Confused, and a love for the ’90s. It’s silly and tender and no familiarity with the source material is necessary to enjoy the game.
This game is built with a lot of support tools for nervous GMs. It plays over the course of three acts, and uses playing cards to help determine what kinds of troubles the players encounter. It includes examples of play and a great outline of safety tools. By the end of the game, you'll know whether or not the store is saved or not. The game uses playbooks making character creation a little bit quicker and easier - all in all, a great option if you want to introduce roleplaying to someone new.
VOID 1680AM, by Bannerless Games.
Night after night, you sit alone with your thoughts, your music, and a microphone. Whether you come to your radio show with somber attitude or joyful spirit, you use the music that moves you to etch something fleeting and beautiful into the big empty.
There are other voices in the darkness. With a deck of cards, a six-sided die and a stack of music, you will build a playlist, invent and interact with Callers to your show, and evolve their stories over as many broadcasts as you like. No matter their motivations, they simply must be heard. In that way, you are very alike.
VOID 1680 AM includes rules for single-session and ongoing play, instructions to have your show broadcast on the airwaves as an Affiliate, and even a way to add your voice to a library of Callers that other DJs can use in their own games.
This game is inspired by Anamnesis, the 1988 film Talk Radio and Long Haul 1983.It aims to replicate the feeling of attempting to make connections with people who can only talk to you over the phone. You’ll create a cast of callers and craft a playlist based on their hopes, needs, and desires. If you want to run through a one-and-done game, you can do that, but this game also includes ways to create a series of connected stories. If you’re interested, you can check out the Press Kit before buying the whole thing!
