#Currentlyreading The Beach Trap by Ali Brady. I'm enjoying this book so far. I loved the beginning with Black and Kat meeting at summer camp and finding out they are half sisters, so like parent trap movie but unlike movie the girls aren't happy about or at least Kat isn't and there creates misunderstanding, anger, hurt and guilt that they get chance to resolve 15 yrs later when their father dies who leaves the Beach House for both girls. But again they take it badly and are mostly fightin, making things complicated and difficult. I can't wait to see when they get over their ego and talk like adults and clear decade old misunderstanding. P. S. I'm not front of the camera person, more behind the camera person but I want change feed so I'm going to add myself in posts as often as I can from now on. QOTD - What are you reading? Shy person POV Prompt ideas

Post 1:

Shy person (A) and kind but popular person (B) sneak into a rich classmate's party and instead of partying on the dance floor person B wants to dance and run through the halls with A. The party gets into a ranger and all that A can do is hide underneath a curtain because of their social anxiety (different from just being shy). A person is asked to follow them. They stand close underneath the curtain as people try and look for them. Person B leans in to kiss them softly letting B’s lips purse tightly so as not to overwhelm A. B draws the lining of A’s chin with their cheek. B pulls away and is shocked at what they did. They profusely apologized to A, saying they didn’t mean to, and it slipped out, and they would never want to hurt them like this. A does a brave thing and kiss B’s bottom lip letting the air between them turn to breathe.

B wants to be public about their relationship but A is restraint since B’s friends bully A and their friends.

A secretly found a locket that was a family heirloom of B. A has the locket and B has the key.

B is a artist and everyone things the beautiful person in their paintings is someone else well known. But it’s secretly A the mysteriously shy person that works as a art teacher. B pines after A even tho they only cross paths once or twice, B is finally the most over joyed person when she is hired at a artist promotion agency. A is surprised how I love someone can be in them. B finally asks to paint A nuded. But as a mistake one of Bs assistance takes the nude painting to be shown in the art gallery. A is mortified and shocked. If this ends happily it’s up to you.

Cette lecture me faisait envie depuis un moment, mais je dois avouer l’avoir oublié parmi les méandres de livres que je vois passer. Et c’est grâce à une amie qui en a parler sur sa chaîne YouTube que j’ai pu me souvenir de Heartstopper. (coucou @babydragonbooks) _______________________________ Cette histoire est juste adorable ! C’est un bonheur à lire. (l’objectivité est présente comme on peut le voir. 😅) C’est une histoire d’amitié, d’amour et de découverte de soi et de ses sentiments entre deux adolescents britanniques. Ils ont beau être une certaine représentation d'archétype, ils cassent parfois les codes et se lient d’une histoire absolument mignonne à souhait et qu’on aimerait vivre. Bon que les bons moments par contre. 😂 ________________________________ Parce qu’il n'y a pas que de bons moments. Il y a des hésitations, des qui pro quos qui créés du drama et cela nous brise le cœur. J’ai beaucoup aimé le dessin et ce n’est qu’après la lecture que j’ai tiqué que tout est en noir et blanc, et cela ne m'a pas choquée vu que je ne m'en étais même pas rendu compte. ________________________________ La bd est disponible en ligne, gratuitement si jamais cela vous tente. Many thanks to @berkleypub for eARC via #NetGalley Out of the Clear Blue Sky by Kristan Higgins⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐(5/5) Out of the Clear Blue Sky is touching and heartwarming women’s fiction that revolves around Lillie Silva whose life takes an unexpected turn when she receives the shock of her husband leaving her for another woman just when her only son is leaving for the college. The story is about betrayal, loneliness, broken family, adjusting to empty nest and kid being independent, family drama, divorces and its impact on family, friendship and love. Writing is descriptive, witty, and slow to steady paced with first person narrative from Lillie’s POV; and there is intermittent Melissa’s POV- the woman who stole Lillie’s husband- that came as a surprise and also makes the book stand out most from all other books with cheating husband storyline I’ve read before. Apart from the divorce, its impact on family, and loneliness there has been many layers in the book that we see through all the characters and their backstory- drug addiction, bullying, date rape, trauma, unhappy childhood that affects personality, and miscarriage. Author handled all those serious subjects so well. Every aspect of the story is the best part of the book. For the first time I can’t choose just one thing. There are so many emotions, hilarious scenes, witty banter, and deep and touching conversations between characters. Cape Code small town, its description and community add its own charm and make the story even more beautiful. Overall, Out of the Clear Blue Sky is perfectly delightful, emotive, realistic and relatable women’s fiction with many themes and layers. I wake up with a start. My temples throbbing slightly, humming from the air conditioning, the only thing keeping me company.

My body has become it’s own alarm clock usually waking me up at the crack of dawn.

I lie still, listening to nothing in particular, listening hard into the distance for any clue on what the time might be.

Hearts and hugs for all! How’s everyone doing? Just in case you need it, here’s a reminder that you’re not alone. The world has been through worse and we will get through this together.
