Lillian Valevane
Lillian is an OC from a personal story that will NEVER get shared, cause it’s just a little 🥵 and I don’t post that kind of thing 😅 but I do love her character and I wanted to draw her.
It’s your typical ‘gets rescued by a fae lord and becomes royalty’ nonsense, but 🌶️🌶️🌶️. It’s a guilty pleasure that’s just for me lol, but I thought I’d share the art anyway.

Ever since its release, readers have demanded an audiobook version. To that end I'm now seeking…

Monsters & Maw Patreon returns 21st October, with a Dullahan story in time for Halloween!
Tumblr media
Extract:
A mist on Samhain night coiled its curious fingers through the hawthorn hedgerows and carded the bone-pale grasses along the verge with gentle, sighing caresses. At the fulcrum of the year, when the last warmth of summer had truly faded, and the biting maw of winter had yet to show its teeth, you came truly alive for a precious few weeks.
You sighed around a smile, softly sweeping the birch bristles of the broom back and forth across the flagstone that marked the entrance to your cottage, and hoped to sweep away the bad luck that seemed to have gathered like choking dust in all the corners of your life that year. You were ready for the restorative stillness that winter would bring, but you weren’t quite ready to let go of the bounty of a rich autumn either.
That afternoon, you’d set your carved Jack o’ Lantern grinning on the step, and you’d given your private remembrances to the recently departed. You’d walked sunwise round your house with a bough of smouldering fir to cleanse the space with smoke, and you’d offered firewood from your stores to the village boys who’d trekked all the way out to your lonely cottage to make sure that your hearth was included in the communal bonfire. In the morning, you would go down to the smouldering embers on the village green and light your own torch to bind your hearth to the rest of the community, but for the moment, you were alone on the edge of things.
Now, as the tiny crescent of moon sailed out from behind the bare, silhouetted branches of the old copse of ash and oak behind the drystone wall, you leaned a moment on the wooden gate at the end of the garden path, and tilted your face to its frail, faltering light.
Your breath made ghosts dance in the air, and as you rested there and smelled the last of the mint in the garden beside you, the sound of hoofbeats on the road disturbed the dark and the quiet of the night.
It was far too late for any of the villagers to be venturing up the road now. Travellers were rare on Samhain night, and yet a horse was approaching at a steady, measured walk, and eventually, the hazy outline of a rider on a huge, ragged mount melted from the mist.
Your heart leapt to your throat and you stepped back, trying not to trip or stumble or bolt to your house for fear of insulting the rider. This was no human being sitting astride that monstrous horse with its rolling red eyes.
For one, the rider had no head.
“Dullahan,” you breathed before you could stop yourself, and you felt their attention sharpen onto you. You bit back a hissing curse at your stupidity just in time and stood your ground. There was an iron horseshoe above your door, and you wondered if that would be enough to protect you from this Unseelie Fae.
The horse’s hooves slowed and it tossed its head, snorting and blowing steam in the cold night, and the rider turned to regard you with a head that wasn’t there.
---
You will be able to read the whole story on the 'Little Ghosties' tier of Patreon from 21st October 2023!
I hope to see you there for more like this, and if you want to know a little more about it, here's the post I made to let folks know about my Patreon coming back!

✨️The Love Of A Fae✨️
Puck x GN!Reader. AU: Fantasy Victorian. Fluff. Reader is a Realmwalker. Puck is gorgeous. Puck adores you. Maybe a little possessive?? Survival. The Fae Wilds are dangerous. Puck's POV.
You catch the eye of a certain Fae and in return, lends his guidance to you. Also while maybe harboring his feelings of you!
Tumblr media
Puck's POV
It has been a while since I last seen another Realmwalker enter these Wilds. I was almost starting to think that none would come, until They arrived.
Oh! How lost they looked! How forlorn and melancholy they gazed around themselves, perhaps hoping a way home would suddenly seize the air and take form to appear before them! Such wishful thinking. But, seeing as I've known these Wilds for many a moons and seeing how I did interact with a few Fleshings before them, I decided to guide them to me.
They followed my voice and listened to my every word, obedient this one. I told them I would guide them across these treacherous Wilds and Byways should they accept my offer and friendship. They did so, so willingly and only with a moments hesitation, but they accepted nonetheless.
I stood by and watched as they played carpenter, building a shelter to which to lay their weary head upon without some wild boar or wolf to come by and feast upon their sleeping flesh in the dark of night. They finished just before nightfall and despite it's rugged appearance, it was a decent build. It was sturdy with strong wood and stone, should hold strong.
I watched as They gathered sustenance from the bounties nature offered, whether it was the berries that grew under the sun's warm gaze or the flesh of a roaming wolf or boar, this Child Of Earth proved themselves capable of sustaining themselves.
I would appear every now and then to offer advice, give insight into the different biomes and how best to venture. I saw how eagerly they traversed across the land, from climbing to gliding gracefully with that parasol of theirs that they so kept close to them. Many I saw them using that parasol to shield them from the rain as they strolled along.
As time went on and the more I conversed with them, the more I began to experience a feeling of familiarity with this Fleshing. I started to spend some nights with them, I remember the surprise on their face when I appeared to them one night by the fire they had lit to keep warm.
Oh how we conversed! How many a time I seemed to leave them speechless at times! We talked long into the night until they soon grew tired and I bid them a goodnight.
Over time, I seem to look upon this Realmwalker with a sort of adoration one may call, for to see how they fought and survived night after night and still burn with life and hungry to discover was something only a rare few Realmwalkers possessed. Many perished in these Wilds, to see a Realmwalker such as them, was a rarity.
Perhaps I do feel something for this Fleshing, something more than just a simple companion. No, this was something different, something deeper.
Did my touch linger on a little longer than necessary after helping tend to their battle wounds? Perhaps.
Did I watch over their sleeping form late into the night, keeping watch as they slumbered away? Of course.
Did I think many a way to keep this Child Of Earth in the Fae Wilds longer? Why yes.
Such a splendid and hearty mate to a Fae such as me they would make! Oh how we'd dance under the moonlight and across the moors and swamps whilst the will-o'-wisps dance amidst the fog!
One day, they will have to repay my debt that I so offered. And then, they will stay within the Wilds.
Reader's POV
I was so glad Puck decided to stay awhile by the fire with me tonight. I was hoping he'd appear again, I feel a little safe knowing I have a powerful Fae nearby.
We talked a while until I began to feel sleepy. After bidding Puck a goodnight, I lay down and closed my eyes.
As I slowly drifted off to sleep, I thought I heard Puck whisper to me as I entered sleep.
"I love you, my dear Realmwalker. Sweet dreams"

hi all. it's me again. back with a few fae-based plots still itching at my brain that have yet to be satisfied. check 'em out and let me know if you might be interested. i'd really love to play a human princess, BUT wouldn't be too upset about playing a fancy fae lady either. 21+ only, novella style.
mortal king and queen struggle with their fertility. they enlist the help of a faerie lord/lady in order for the queen to birth a child. a deal is made in hopes of keeping the humans out of the fae realm, and nine months later, joy is bundled. 20-some years later, mom and dad forget their promise, forcing the fae lord/lady to return to the mortal realm with fire and brimstone (or smoke and mirrors) to take back what was given.
mortal kingdom is plagued by irregular but bloody faerie raids. at least once monthly, and sometimes more often, the kingdom is attacked in the middle of a night, with four and six-legged, winged, shapeshifting and water-breathing fae of all types coming to steal gold, animals, small children, what have you. the heir to the throne is a warrior, but is known by all to be a pretty crappy one, until one night, the heir manages to incapacitate and capture the first ever fae prisoner. quickly learns that fae are not the mindless monsters they've thought, and there's more to the raids than meets the eye.
classic forced marriage arrangement: mortal realm and fae realm are historically at odds. trade is minimal, marriage between races is forbidden, and the borders are strict. mortal heir and fae heir are familiar with each other only through stuffy summits, and naturally hate each other to the core. their parents become aware of a third party threat, which poses a risk to both worlds. knowing that their children will never be able to ally on their own, the parents force them into an arranged marriage to unite their armies. cue intense enemies to lovers that have to go to war together.
with any of these plots, a subplot involving the fae people's fertility could be cool as well. if we say fae generally have low birth rates in general, and then all of a sudden they drop off to zero, could be an interesting problem to try and solve.
also i've been playing Baldur's Gate a lot so literally give me a plot just straight up stolen from that game and I'll be happy.

With my panties in his mouth and his hair disheveled from sleep, he looked every inch the sort of man fathers despair of their daughters meeting:
wicked, carnal, and utterly unrepentant of all his sins.

~5/5⭐
Well, here's to another group of fictional men that will never be mine🥂I feel like I'm starting to sound like a broken record at this point, but I truly loved everything about this book (well aside from the killer cliffy, boooo👎🏾). But let me start by saying that I went into this story with absolutely ZERO knowledge of what it was about. I came across this several times in one of my Facebook book groups (slightly cringe I know, don't judge me), and figured hmmm might as well. For starters, this is apparently a Beauty and the Beast retelling with a twist. The twist you ask? There's four painstakingly hot princes instead of one😈 I'm not going to go into details, considering most of know the general premise of Beauty and the Beast, but what I will say is, this is NOT your average Disney fairytale (thanking the Goddesses above for that one🙏🏾). Anyways, let me tell you what this story does have:
-4 insanely hot fae princes☑️
-4 insanely hot fae princes that ALSO turn into wolves☑️
-Faeries☑️✨🧚
-SPICE☑️😮‍💨🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
-A real plot☑️
This book is honestly any fantasy romance lover's dream, and I'll leave it at that. Now with that being said, I do suggest you to check the trigger warnings before starting, as there is some mention of past trauma and abuse in a previous relationship. Although I didn't think it was anything too heavy, but then again, I'm more of a 'the darker the better' kinda girl👀
As Always,
Happy Reading❤️

Male Forest Fae x Female Reader (Pt.1)
Find all parts here
You hadn’t planned on stopping so soon, though knowing it was only a matter of time before something caught your interest, you weren’t surprised. It had been your goal to travel outside of your hometown, wandering the nearby forest for interesting trinkets and wondrous discoveries as you bided your time before leaving what you called home. Standing before you, was a large, unkempt shrine. Cobwebs and weeds decorated the limestone, beautifully chiseled in order to create a cohesive structure. The length of such an old shrine must have been twice your height, but now stood at waist level as the limestone eroded over time. Instead of passing by the shrine, you took the time to remove any stray leaves and brush off any spider webs that stuck to the sides. Uncovering a beautiful shade of white, you decide to take a break and admire your hard work. As you take a step backwards, you feel someone sigh against your neck. Yelping, you turn to look at someone so beautiful, you felt he was a figment of your imagination. However, knowing that the short breath against your skin felt too warm to be unreal, you observe the bystander with suspicion.
“It is rather beautiful under all those twigs, isn’t it?” He turns toward you with a look of admiration in his eyes. He gives a short laugh, before disappearing into the forest. As you turn every which way in hopes of uncovering the intruder, you feel an arm wrap around your waist, and a smile pressed into your shoulder.
“Thank you for paying respect to my shrine.”

TLDR: New fae romance/adventure story in the works, not up anywhere yet so hold your horses, will post/link on here when it is available.
Well, after finishing Season One of my long-running werewolf romance story and thinking I’d probably take things easy on the writing front, I’ve gone and written 8k+ words in a single day and actually plotted the whole effing thing out (seriously wtf I never do that) of a female human x male fae romance story.
(sorry for being extremely boring on the genders again; I am actually working on a part two for the m/m Victorian orc story too!! @severedreamerbeard don’t look at me or I’ll explode)
The new fae story is tropey af, and has ‘childhood best friends to ‘strangers’ as adults’ (it makes more sense in context), a little angst and a little mystery, a healthy father-son relationship, a 25yr old fem protagonist and love interest instead of an 18yr old x 1000yr old fae, a ‘roadtrip’ of sorts, a coup to foil, some danger, an absolute, arrogant loveable(???) ass of an Unseelie Prince who shows up at one point, and lots of adventure and some inhuman-ish shapeshifting too. And wings. Of both feathered and draconic varieties. Just for funsies.
Who’s excited?
If you are, I’m going to post it as a WIP, chapter by chapter in its entirety on Ko-fi first, and then I’ll give it all a full edit and see where I’m at. If you’ve recently supported me on Ko-fi, you should be able to access it (I part with a percentage of each of my Ko-fi earnings to allow that to happen), and if you want to read it (when it goes up - it’s not up there yet so don’t donate now [unless you wanted to anyway]!!) then all you have to do is donate one ko-fi/’cup of tea’ and you should be able to access it.
Oof. that was a bit of a garbled ramble, I’m sorry. Lemme know if you have questions.
