That language SAGAU but the Reader can only communicate writing on paper.
Either the Reader is mute and they (characters) don't know/understand sign language or they somehow lost their voices on their transmigration to Teyvat and can only write now. But the characters are left trying to decipher what the Reader wrote.
Examples:
Kaeya: "I may say, that was very unexpected your grace. One such as yourself should be more aware of who you are."
Reader: "wat, y u sayin dat?"
×
Gorou: "Oh, your grace! Careful now. I am most certain that you stepped on something unsightly right now. Let me clean your feet, your grace."
Reader: "r u srs rn? Fml"
Ooooo, this is nice, this is niiccceeee /ref
this would be the energy⬇️
Tumblr media
Man I love this show, I gotta finish it (it’s Komi Can’t Communicate for those who want to see it) where she basically is too shy/introverted to speak (non-verbal neurospicy it seems like to me actually lol) and really wants to make friends and do normal things despite not speaking, her main way of communicating is writing (and her first guy friend who can just read her facial/body language really well lmao)!!
Sun: Gender Neutral Reader (they/them)
Planet: Headcanons-ish?
Stars: dashes/mention of most characters
Comets & Meteors: Content Warnings: Reader/”you” are mute/lost their voice, & Trigger Warnings: None Known.
This kinda falls into that post I made abt texting lingo, abt us being nigh incomprehensible when using texting lang. (its basically a code lol)
but i think it’s always neat to see nonverbal rep so here we are (also i think imma go ahead and say it is both selectively mute but also enforced by video game laws!)
u know a good explanation would be for this is actually abt how we technically are only allowed to freely communicate when we’re in chats,
so I could see that still being the only way we can commnicate in Teyvat (look am i little excited abt taking “video game world” a little too literally in every genshin AU ever- maybe.)
tbh i could see so many allogenes having to either learn to make room for you in convos and u also having to get wayyy more expressive in body language/facial expressions
tbh i think itd be pretty easy to get ur meaning, like in a battle or smth fast-paced where u couldnt write, like how Tinker Bell can?
if u dont know what i mean just search “tinkerbell scenes peter pan” on youtube and u can see ppl just having a full conversation with no words with her, which i think would deffo happen with ppl like Kaeya, Lisa, Lumine, Venti, Heizou, Ayato, Yae Miko, Thoma, Beidou and Itto surprisingly i could see it (ppl in the distance just think theyre all talking to themselves sometimes when ur not as visible hehe)
OMG they get u nice gifts for writing all the time, like the newest compact pens from Fontaine, the finest small, medium, and large notebooks from Inazuma,
like a little compact pocketbook so u can easily fit it in pockets!
u know Im absolutely sure you could literally start the texting appreviation trend in Tevyat like this-
like just so it’s easier to communicate with you, a lot of people are willing to adapt/take on abbreviations like “ttyl, gtg, wth, lol, lmao” even stuff like “etc”
lol u start a whole trend in the writing letters business, hehe silly medieval Teyvat is silly and medieval
yknow I think the quieter vision users would definitely find you to be peaceful to be around and easy to understand just with writing (also deffo most likely to adore the soft moments together of just ur pen scribbling and the sounds of nature or a cafe or something around them),
tbh i also think these ppl would be motivated to talk to you alone, or get you away to just talk the two of you for all the reasons above, like Xiao, Aether, Kazuha, Ayaka, Chongyun, Zhongli, Diluc, Sayu, Ei, Sucrose, Eula, Ganyu, Ningguang, Tighnari, Alhaitham omg he might literally be able to take his headphones off around u bc youd be in such quiet spaces all the time, and bc u dont talk he doesn’t have to worry abt u getting loud either lmao
…and then ofc, there’s the bitches that try and guess what ur writing ahead of timeeee 😭
bein all like, “Uh… you.. would like.. to go to… a restaurant… to get some- OH OH I got this one this time! Some pita pockets! …Oh. A drink. Right. Sorry, again.”
definitely Itto, Cyno, Heizou, Xingqiu, Fischl, Amber, Collei, Dehya, Wanderer, Childe, Venti, Keqing (she just used to being fast ok), Kaveh lmao
I hope my reply was a little fun!! THANK U FOR SENDING THIS I LOVE THIS SM!! Man it’s so hard to make you feel my appreciation for this idea thru the damn screen
like how do i send a virtual hug
ANYWAY, if you or anybody else had an idea for celebrating 1000 followers lmk bc i am STRUGGLING with this same issue for that,
like how to make u guys feel my love 😩 ❤️‍🔥
Safe travels ignihideous,
💀♒

Hello, Can you please do a Scenario where Zhongli, Dulic, and Xiao the Genshin boys have to deal with you breaking up with them? Rest of the guys is up to you. :)
Ugh, you feeding my Angst Demons right now. Yes I can, my dear. Here is your hot and fresh daily crying here. I'm gonna cry four times.
Tumblr media
Zhongli └─── °∘❉∘° ───┘└─── °∘❉∘° ───┘└°∘❉∘°┘
Zhongli was standing there, staring at the open door with cold night air barging in, comforting his face. Along with a torn up contract on the ground. You were just here moments ago, but now you were gone. You had a contract of friendship with him, just by helping him understand human emotions. However, things got deeper, and you two began to become affectionate and loving. Even went as far as to deflowering in bed. However, Despite all this, Zhongli's main role and existence was based off contracts and following them, providing fairness and order.
Zhongli kept enforcing the contract terms of friendship onto you, avoiding your romantic needs and only meeting your friendship needs. Despite him also reciprocating your feelings, he was bound by contract and fairness. This wasn't fair to you. Contracts aren't all that. This all came to a wall, when you tried to kiss his cheek and he moved away reminding you of your contract with him. This was where you snapped.
"I'm tired of this contract stuff! Can't you just be with me? Don't you care about me, don't you love me?" You protest to him, grabbing his arm.
"I'm sorry if I may have upset you my dear, but contracts are contracts, they are a symbol of order, we have to respect that." Zhongli explained to you.
"But the contract doesn't match our relationship, can we please just change it or end it?" You begged him, neglected, wanting him to ravish you lovingly and emotionally.
Zhongli held his ground. "If you decide to break our contract, then that would entice me to punish you for not respecting fairness." He said sternly.
"I'm done. I can't do this anymore. " You left and came back with your contract and tore it in front of him. "I don't care about you as a lover, nor as a friend. I'm leaving you and breaking up with you." You took your things and opened the dark that led to a slam from behind it and squeaking as it recoils back forward as you left and disappeared into the night. Zhongli still currently standing, staring down at the torn parchment, was suddenly feeling a heavy feeling in his chest. Heartbroken, as if he had lost his whole nation with the snap of his fingers. Usually he had feats like this to deal with, but he never got this sensitive about it. He gently kneeled down to pick up the pieces of the contract you tore, while trying to ignore his heavy tears hitting the ground beneath him.
Dulic ❉ ╤╤╤╤ ✿ ╤╤╤╤ ❉❉ ╤╤╤╤ ✿ ╤╤╤╤ ❉❉ ╤╤╤╤ ✿ ╤╤╤╤ ❉
He was holding the bridge of his nose alone, in his office. In his empty Mansion. He had a white button up shirt with a few buttons unbuttoned. He had a glass of grape juice in his hands as he tried to process the sinking feeling in his stomach. He was entirely paralyzed. You joined him on his nightly adventures being a vigilante, you shared his values, and his love to keep Mondstadt safe. You were skilled, smart, and you knew how to use your connections to get information out of people....however, you were beautiful, you were bright under the moonlight. You were holding his hands to lead him away from danger, but all he saw was your hand in his. He had an urge to yank your hand back and pull you to fall onto his chest, where can hold you and plant a kiss on your lips. But he held back.
He thought about the many nights where he pushed you into a dark corner, back against the wall, and pressed his out of breath body against yours, just to feel you against him, but this was in the guise of hiding you from the Favonius Knights on patrol.
As you met with him in his office, he smiled at you gently, and offered you a seat. "What can I do for you today?" You were nervous as you spoke out your feelings. "Dulic, I do enjoy your company at nights, but maybe do you think we can also have a relationship in the day too? Maybe we can go for walks, or have dates outside of these vigilante fights we do." "No." Dulic didn't think of it, not even a little. "Why?" You were down by his response. "I am way too busy for nonsense like that. I have work and things to tend to, along with seeing what the abyss mages and the Fatui are scheming alongside of that." He said, taking a sip of his grape juice. "Then, I'm sorry but I can't keep doing these nights with you anymore. I really love them, but I do want more in our relationship. If you can't provide that, then I can already see in a relationship with you, you won't provide much to it." You smiled sadly to him. "I love you but sometimes I would like a little effort too." You got up and left him, until he can't hear your footsteps anymore. "..." He put his cup down and got up to go down to his winery storage. He took one wine bottle and place it on his desk and decided, whats the worse that could happen then this? He turned his chair to face to the window besides him and took a sip of the wine. Despite hating alcohol, maybe this can drown out his loss and sorrows. He refuses to shed a tear, despite him already shedding some and it staining the documents on his desk.
Xiao ❛ ━━・❪ ❁ ❫ ・━━ ❜❛ ━━・❪ ❁ ❫ ・━━ ❜❛ ━━・❪ ❁ ❫ ・━━ ❜
Xiao was already on his knees, clenching his chest, trying to hold himself back from expressing his grief. He was under his favorite tree in Guili plains, as he struggles to process the heartbreak. Maybe he deserved this? He was never meant to be happy. He told himself to not get close to a mortal, yet he wants to hold you and kiss your forehead one more time. He wanted to touch you again. He tried to catch his breath, and kept trying to plan elaborate schemes on how to beg you to come back, or change his ways. Xiao had a feeling it was coming, he was always being to harsh on you, keeping you at an arms length not because of his Karmic debt, it was because he was scared. You kept attempting connection after connection with him, offering him new foods, understanding his grief and his relationship with darkness. You tried to sit and talk to him about his troubles, despite his hesitation, You were very patient with him. You made him feel safe. " Xiao, I'm sorry but I feel like I haven't been able to get close to you. I would like some more intimacy from you, emotionally and physically, I want you to trust me more. What can I do to have this from you?"
"Intimacy? I don't understand human ways to love, this is just how I Interpret love, if you can't accept that, then why are you here?" Despite this being harsh, he was only being honest. "Yes but--" You place your hand onto his. "Does this feel good to you, does this make you happy?" "I...do enjoy your touches...yes.." He agreed, and looked at you. "Me too, this is a little bit of intimacy, you feel closer to me, I want more of that. You trusting me to hold your hand, and you telling me that you like it" You explained patiently and whispered gently to him.
"I...I can't." He hesitated and pulled his hands away.
"You don't trust me?" You looked at him sadly.
"I don't know...." He looked to the side.
"I see, then I can't be with you anymore. I'm sorry but I want to feel closer to you and I want to feel loved by you. You are not a bad boyfriend, you just have a lot on your plate and a lot to deal with. So I feel as if you have no room for me." You give him a kiss on the cheek as a goodbye.
Xiao widen his eyes, as it took every fiber of his being not to grab you into a tight hug, begging you to stay. "Goodbye, maybe we can still be friends." You walked away with a heavy heart. It was daytime again, Xiao stayed under that tree for the whole night and cried his eyes out..pathetically. He was clueless, he didn't know how how much you mean to him, until you were gone. He was numb.
Note: SpicyPepperohni: Sorry if Zhongli story seemed kinda short, it was longer until I hit the undo button and UNDO THE WHOLE THING, so I don't really entirely remember what I put but it was so juicy. If anyone has any advice on how to undo stuff like this in the future, please let me know.

Hi! Can I request headcannons for a platonic yandere Zhongli?
YES YOU ABSOLUTELY CAN ANON!! 💕
You do not understand how long I’ve waited to write Zhongli as an overprotective father figure 🙏🏻
TW: yandere behaviour, controlling behaviour
Tumblr media
You’d never be able to tell just how far Zhongli was willing to go to keep up this fatherly charade when you first meet him
Nothing sticks out as weird, overbearing, or out of the ordinary. He genuinely just seems like a lonely older man who likes to talk for hours about very varied topics
And you learn a lot by listening to him! He knows so much information about a large array of topics that interest you, so you stick around to listen and keep him company. You’d feel bad just leaving him alone all the time, especially when it doesn’t seem like others have the patience to listen to his monologues like you do
But soon enough, your friendship evolves from sitting in a tea shop and listening to his rambles, to walking around the harbour and having actual conversations with him
You ask him questions, he answers them in kind. You tell him about your day, and he listens with enthusiasm. You come to learn that he is a great conversation partner, even if you’re clearly no where near as cultured or knowledgeable as him. He holds no judgement, and is willing to listen to anything you tell him
The issues only start to bubble to the surface when you go to him for advice about what seems to be a taboo topic to him. Dating
It was a harmless question really; you simply asked if he had any recommendations for good first date spots since you were planning on asking a longtime friend out finally. You thought Zhongli would be the perfect person to ask since he knows everything about everywhere in Liyue
And he seems to freeze for a moment. For the first time since you met him, he seems genuinely speechless, no response to give
But he quickly recovers with a quick remark about how you’re too young to be dating, which is such a fatherly thing to say that you try to take it as a joke. Even if his tone was much harsher than usual
And you vowed never to bring it up again since Zhongli didn’t seem to appreciate that kind of question. But the question came back up in a different form about a week later
Your friend had started distancing them self from you, and you had no clue what you did to make them suddenly dislike your company so much. So once again you went to Zhongli with your concerns, he’s the smartest person you know and you trust his opinion greatly
“Friends who don’t have the conviction to talk through their issues face to face aren’t worth chasing after. I would advise that you let them move on”
Whatever response you were expecting, that certainly wasn’t it. His voice was so sharp, devoid of the usual warmth it had when talking with you. Maybe lost friends was a sore topic for him? You seemed to be walking on eggshells with your conversation topics recently
You tried to move past the conversation, brush it off and pretend like it didn’t happen. But the venom in his voice stuck with you and made you a bit more cautious around him. But clearly not cautious enough
You were too worried about saying something to direct that venom your way that you didn’t even notice the hold Zhongli had on you was growing stronger. You always joked about how he acted more like a dad than a friend, and it seemed like he was taking that info to heart
He started voicing his opinions on your choices in a different way, phrasing them as questions. Like a father who didn’t want to enforce his unspoken rules on you, and instead wanted you to doubt yourself and take into consideration what he wanted instead
Your walks around Liyue harbour no longer felt like a friendly stroll, it was practically like going shopping with your dad. Having him pick out food and clothes for you, and being a constant overbearing presence that stopped anyone from attempting to chat you up
It took you realising that you practically lived with him for you to notice just how much control he had over your life now. No longer were you an independent adult, you’d practically become one of those kids that never moves out of their parents homes for the rest of their lives
But just because you realised it didn’t mean you were able to do anything about it. His entire house was practically baby proofed, there was no way you’d be going anywhere without his permission
But it’s okay. Zhongli has been taking his role as your father figure very seriously, and he’ll make sure you’re well looked after in his care

Neuvillette brainrot/headcanon time! So I've spoiled myself on the archon quest, but I do wonder how much of his attitude (as we know it), both his awkwardness in dealing with other people's emotions and in dealing with his own, is due to the fact that he's the chief justice.
As players, we don't know how long he's been around. We don't know how long he's been chief justice. We also don't know how long trials have been a spectacle either. If he's been around for a while, which seems like the case, he's had to have seen it all.
He's had to have seen people beg and plead for their lives in his courtroom. He's had to have seen people mentally break down and/or lash out during trials as they're publicly embarrassed among everyone in Fontaine and in front of the archon. He's had to have seen the disillusionment people have in Justice system play out in the friends and family of the accused, as hidden crimes are brought to light. He's had to have seen and heard people curse his name and Furina's. He's had to have seen children crying in the stands because their parents were placed in jail or put to death.
He's supposed to be this impartial figure. He's supposed to keep order in the court, and be fair to everyone in it. Both for the people of Fontaine, for the archon, and for the instiution of the Court of Fontaine. For everyone's sake, he cannot afford any sort of rumor of him being biased in his decisions. All of his decisions should be based on sound logic and the rule of law.
We are crossing into headcanon territory, but I think Neuvillette's confusion and ultimately, his difficulty in expressing and dealing with emotions in general, stem from the fact that he's always been placed on a pedestal, and he knows it. He's smart enough to understand what his position entails and how important it is in ensuring Justice is served. He's also smart enough to understand what happens when people's faith in Justice and the Court of Fontaine shatters.
For Neuvillette, I think having to shoulder that impartiality day after day for months, years, decades, and millennia on end, as trials are held in the Court, while he presides over them, not only added to his confusion about human rationality and human emotions, and also made it so he hasn't really had to confront his emotions in a more visceral way. If enforcing the law and Justice is what matters, where does his emotions play into it? Is a really interesting idea to think about.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the Neuvillette brainrot thoughts inspired by your post. I'm curious to see how the rest of the Fontaine archon quest plays out.
Ahh, now that is a very, very interesting perspective. It seems to me that you've managed to empathize with Neuvillette beyond what everyone, including us players are seeing and I find it to be fascinating. Because it proves that despite Neuvillette's approach towards the whole matter of emotions and his identity, he's far more.. human than some actual human characters in this game. Even if it isn't the whole reason, I think the hc you presented has contributed to Neuvillette's present state. You cannot see the intricacies of a city while sitting at the top floor of a skyscraper, after all. This is further verified by his final opinion on the case of Navia's father :
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
But what really sets Neuvillette apart from other yanderes that share similarities with him, is that he's so welcoming and accepting of new perspectives. He just needs an obvious and blunt pointer towards it, which is where patience on the other person's part is required. Subtlety is ineffective with him, wherein a significant amount of human interactions are characterized by it. Neuvillette, in general, is a softer yandere (or well, at least the Neuvillette of the present). What I'm really curious about, is if he's always had this empathetic side to him, or if it's a result of certain experiences ; for example, Zhongli's change in character after meeting Guizhong.

Tumblr media
“please?” you ask for what probably is the twentieth time that day. or, well, more specifically, the fourteenth time. and judging from the irate glower in your lover’s eyes, it appears you’ve pushed past his limit. oh dear.
Tumblr media
zhongli’s palm meets the meat of your thigh in a loud slap, and you keen in both pained and pleased gasp, head lolling back against the desk as your tied arms trembled against your chest.
“you asked for this, so you ought to gratefully receive it like a good girl.”
the continuous sobs, hiccups, and a garbled version of your boyfriend’s name falling from your lips have long since made your raw throat ache. he’s being especially mean today, but then again, it might have been your fault for pushing his buttons until he snapped. to be fair, you didn't know it has been a stressful week for him, and that you were adding fuel to the fire when you visited him at work, teasing and flirting and flashing the pretty lace underneath your blouse. your intention was just to rile him up for tonight, not…. getting railed right on his desk as a stress reliever.
not that you minded the change of plans, of course.
you’re starting to clamp impossibly tighter around him, a telltale of your impending orgasm on the horizon. but instead of encouraging you to reach your end like how he usually does, zhongli delivers another slap, and you jolt in shock, the pain sending your nerves even more ablaze.
“not yet,” he growls, not realizing that his action had the complete opposite effect.
with frantic and pitiful sobs, you shake your head and buck your hips to meet his thrust, mind blanking as the world seem to disappear around you.
“can’t! i can’t-!!!!”
your back arches and a loud cry scrapes your throat raw as you cum, body twitching and trying to squirm away from the throbbing cock that’s bullying its way to your sensitive cunt. your ears ring and everything becomes muffled noises. your breathing is in disarray, throat so parched you’re straining to breathe.
as you’re coming down from the mindblowing experience, you’re barely aware of your beloved shifting you on his expensive desk, taking great care to clean the mess on your legs and cradling you close when your coherency starts to return to you.
“are you alright, dearest?”
the gentle caress of his hand makes you smile and nuzzle onto his warm palm, despite your overheated cheeks.
“would you like to take a nap on the couch?”
“but you haven't-”
“don't mind me, love. i can see that you’re in no shape to continue.”
it’s times like these that you think you don't deserve this man you call your significant other. as much as you want to push your body’s limit to return the favor, zhongli can be extremely stubborn when he wants to, so you note to yourself to spoil him extra tonight. you settle for a simple nod, and you let him help you stand back on your wobbly legs, still trembling and weak from the intense sessions, to bring you towards the leather couch.
it’s only when you’re rehydrated, tucked in with a spare blanket he keeps in his office, when you’re fully responsive to his gentle touches and able to reply to his questions without a five seconds pause, that he speaks with a twinkle of mischief in his amber eyes.
“still, i have to say, it is quite disappointing that neither you nor my subordinates seem to be able to understand and obediently follow my orders. it seems like i need to enforce some kind of discipline here. perhaps tonight i shall start with you, darling.”
ah…. have you perhaps bitten more than what you can chew?
Tumblr media
you thought childe was going towards the bathroom to finally adhere to your wishes. but no, he takes you to his office, and you deflate because his 'office' is a literal room in the middle of the bustling office floor, with glass panels on all four sides. there was no chance that he was going to do anything scandalous right in the middle of-
“strip.”
your eyes widen and you look around you. office workers are working on their computers, printing reports, doing their best to work, and yet… what in the world is he asking of you?
"what's wrong, baby? you were being so slutty just minutes ago. having second thoughts?" your boyfriend backs you up against his desk, a strained grin playing on his lips as he presses a noticeable bulge against your crotch, "c'mon. strip."
"but-but,” you glance around the vicinity, trembling.
he blinks once, twice, and a mean grin overtakes his expression, naughty hand slipping under your skirt, behind your panties, "shit, babe, you're so wet. what's this? i didn't know you're such a pervert?"
"ajax!! i'm serious, what if-"
your words fail you when he slips a finger inside, gently tracing the spots that's making you see stars as you squeeze your eyes shut.
"don't worry, these are all one-way glass windows," he whispered against your ear, "we can see them but they can't see us. isn't technology neat these days? i can observe people and make sure they're working, but also have my privacy... never thought i'd be able to use it for this, though.”
"i-it's embarrassing-”
your breath hitches when he's kissing you with a passion that lapped at the cold nervousness within your chest. damn him and his amazing kissing skills, for when you realize what was happening, you're already half naked and your front is pressed against the nearby glass.
"i think the only thing embarrassing here is how wet you are," your boyfriend chuckles, pulling away to stretch his fingers in front of you, how the slick had coated his hand thoroughly.
“now, baby, you gotta remember, this might be a one way glass, but they're not exactly soundproof. so you can't get too loud, okay?"
it's his last warning whispered into your ears before his dick started trying to rearrange your guts, and you're not sure if you came embarrassingly fast because you had to hold back your mewls, or if it was because you thought the employee sitting right in front of the glass was seemingly staring on your breasts pressed against the window.
in reality, his office is fully soundproof, but you're so cute trying to hold back your means, so he doesn't think he'll tell you that anytime soon. you gotta pay somehow for interrupting his work, after all.
Tumblr media
"slut."
the insult touches your ears and elicits a shudder up your spine. to hear such a contrast - your boyfriend's gentle, soft voice, paired with a filthy, degrading word - felt like music to your ears. kazuha tilts his head, a playful smile on his lips threatening to break into a sneer, and you wonder how can someone look so angelic yet so devilish at the same time.
"i didn't know my dove was into degradation," he remarks, curling his finger so it rubs against that spongy spot inside you, watching impassively as you jerk and moan at the sensation, "what other secrets are you keeping from me, hm?"
his thumb presses against your throbbing clit as the others bury themselves knuckle deep into you, and your breath leaves your lung as you with an indecent moan leaving your drooling mouth.
"'zuha, please!"
"please what, love? i'm afraid needy bitch in heat isn't a language i'm fluent at."
you're shaking your head but also simultaneously bucking eagerly into his fingers. kazuha hums, knowing that it's better for him to listen to your body when it comes to a contradiction in this, so he chooses to add a third finger into your sopping mess of tight cunt, leaning forward to place a gentle kiss on your teary cheek and to whisper against your ear.
"i think this is the wettest you've ever been… don't you think so too," he inhales, a slight shake in his breath from all the excitement swirling within his stomach, "whore."
with a loud cry, you gush around your lover's soft fingers, clutching and sobbing onto his soft knitted sweater as he continues to pump the appendages inside you, the loud squelches it makes downright pornographic to anyone's ears.
kazuha places yet another kiss, this time on your forehead, fingers tracing lazy circles around your oversensitive clit.
"mm... will you cum on my cock next, good girl?"
how can you deny your sweet duality of a boyfriend?
Tumblr media
al haitham looks down at you as you slobber all over his cock, his eyes narrowed as he gives you a demeaning sneer, "look at you, how... disgraceful."
in return, you give him a hash suck, and he groans, head thrown back at the sensation, thighs jerking slightly, as the dark flush on his skin becomes more prominent. the grip on your hair tightens and he pulls you away, ignoring your whines as his cock twitched, standing tall against his abs, looking like the most delicious snack from your point of view.
“leave it,” he growls like you’re some kind of dog - but you seem to be particularly rebellious today, because your hands react despite his warning, wrapping around his length, thumb swiping the precum leaking from his tip to aid you in stroking the thoroughly wet and hard shaft.
your lover hisses and lets go of your hair. immediately, you dive back forward to take him back into your mouth, angling his tip to poke out against the side of your cheek, mischievous eyes looking up cheekily as you hum questioningly.
"you're so - tch - indecent! fuck-”
fed up with your actions, you find both of his hands grabbing your hair this time, one on each side, tightening before pushing you down into his cock, the blunt head hitting the back of your throat. he’s facefucking you in earnest now, the gagging sound and nasty drools and your teary eyes spurring him on even more, his breathless moans and grunts filling your ears and making you drip needily onto the floor.
when he finishes, you greedily drink all of the sticky hot mess, licking your lips as you stare coyly at the breathless man above you.
"who's disgraceful now?"
al haitham growls and pulls you into a sloppy kiss, and you hum happily, knowing that you're about to get what you've been craving all day.
he’ll probably berate you later for distracting him from his papers but for this, you think it’s totally worth it.

Say, what do you think Zhongli struggled with the most after he started full-time cosplaying a mortal?
it’s kind of weird cause i feel like he struggled with everything and nothing at all
Obviously the first is not having unlimited money at his disposal to buy whatever he wanted. Zhongli lives a very elegant lifestyle. He wears outfits created by the adepti, he only takes the finest birds on walks he eats at the finest restaurants and he buys whatever he lays eyes on.
Then there is the fact that “Zhongli” is a permanent human and not a body Morax uses whenever he wants before transforming into another one. It would be funny if he woke up one morning wanting to shapeshift and having to stop himself mid transformation because humans don't normally grow floor length hair or swap genders overnight.
I always imagined Zhongli struggled keeping his Morax knowledge separate from his Zhongli knowledge. Morax knows the day everyone was born in Liyue, Zhongli does not. Morax knows the day each building was built, the day they built a pond in the harbor, he knows every business owner that has ever worked on his land but Zhongli should not.
But the thing about Zhongli I feel like he just learned to work around these problems without changing too much of himself lol. Like he cant buy everything he wants? Just get a wallet or get someone else to buy his things.
Too much knowledge? Great all of Liyue knows him as the all knowledgeable consultant who knows everything but nobody knows where he came from.
he’s too adored by the population for anyone to bother him about it.
Hu Tao mentions that Zhongli knows so much but has no worries so I think he just doesnt care? I think Zhongli just gets to stay the same cause everyone accepts his weirdness.
But seriously I think he struggles with contracts. He doesn't have the same authority to enforce contracts as before but he is still the god of contracts. So I think he has some dissonance in that regard, like he sees someone break a contract and if he were still Rex Lapis he would punish them but Zhongli has no such control. Considering how he worked around those fake archeologists in his first story quest, I think he if still wants to "punish" someone he has to approach the situation very differently.
Its funny to imagine Zhongli sees someone break and contract and chills run down his spine he feels faint but he can't do anything about. But then again Liyuens is pretty particular about contracts, so even if he cannot enforce them there are countless others (the qixing, the millelith, hell even yanfei) who will maintain order in his stead. i think it will work out

Which genshin yanderes would be most willing to share their darling with another (if any?)
tw - implied noncon, manipulation, unhealthy relationships, and mentions of bruising/making.
without a doubt, Zhongli.
i mean, he's just so used to being an Archon, to having a nation's worth of wards to care for. even when he was forced to neglect his mortal followers, he had the Adepti to care for, a legion's worth of Yaksha to soothe from their karmic debt, a nation to nurture and cultivate and protect. he has less, now, fewer burdens to carry and less to give away, but he still has you, and he knows how beloved you are, how much joy you bring the few subjects who still know to be loyal to him. you're still his, and he still has his limits (which he's more than happy to enforce when a certain idiotic bard comes asking after you), but he's still a generous god. he can't help but be generous as a mortal, too.
and your company truly does bring so much pleasure to those he can stand to see you with. he knows Xiao's partial to you, even if he does have to be eased onto his knees and occasionally reminded not to dig his nails so far into your thighs - a rule Zhongli occasionally 'forgets' to enforce when Xiao manages to relax enough to enjoy himself. when she can, Ganyu likes to borrow you for the day, take you to Jade Chamber to visit with Ninnguang and Keqing, and he finds it in his heart to ignore how disheveled you seem when you return to him, how many bruises her outings seem to paint across your throat, how hesitant you seem to leave his side in the days following Ganyu's time with you. and, while Zhongli isn't as lenient as him as he is with the others, Childe's quite taken you as well, always so happy to find himself in your marriage bed, always so eager to rut into you while Zhongli holds your head in his lap and wipes away your adorable little tears. he likes knowing that you're loved. he likes being able to share what little he still has.
he likes reminding you that there are far, far worse deities than him to be forced to worship.

Please make a part 3 omg, we almost never get venti being woth us in imposter au and i love this so much!! He is my favorite character and it hurts when people make him hunt us down for having the same face as the creator when he has hus friends face. So thank you so much for making something more real!♡♡♡
Tumblr media
Don't worry, as of the time of this post, the third part of my Reader Protection Squad is on the works!
Venti is my favorite character in the game (along with Barbara). As much as I love the angst on SAGAU Imposter and Cult AU stories, I can't help but cringe whenever Venti does some bat-shit yandere while hunting the Imposter when he is also classified as an imposter himself by taking the form of his friend.
He is also the God of Freedom for Archon's sake. Why would he restrict the freedom of a simple human being without any hesitation just because they look like the Creator? Does it violate his principles of enforcing his ideals to his people?
It was screaming "hypocrite" to me.
He is usually mischaracterized, along with some of the characters in SAGAU fics to drive the plot forward or to just simply emphasize other characters. The Archons were the victims of these mischaracterizations in SAGAU Imposter AU fics, putting them in a bad light because they are the higher authority besides Celestia in the game.
But honestly, Zhongli and Ei are reasonable because of their aura and personality as the Archons and how they rule their respective nations based on their ideals, but Venti? The sweet and mischievous bard who is friendly and welcoming to anyone he came across? The literal god of freedom?
It could apply if it was Corrupted!Venti or Evil!Venti fics, but seriously.
No offense to those authors (I love your works, honestly), but Archons... you should have told us the logical reason why they are obsessive and acting out of character like it was caused by a bug in the system or something else. Maybe how the existence of a Divine Creator actually affects the beliefs of the people of Teyvat? Is Celestia pulling the strings? Or maybe it is explained by how they are actually acting in real-life Teyvat or when nobody is looking.
This idea was born because of all of this. I wanted to give my boi justice in SAGAU fics for once by testing how the story goes if he still has his canon personality in the world where the Reader was treated as shit because of mistaken identity.

slitherer-outer - zhongli
Tumblr media
synopsis: in which reader (unknowingly) attempts to teach the god of commerce how to stick to a budget
ship: zhongli x reader
notes: chapter 5 of the bookkeeping!verse
Tumblr media
This was the day! This was the day!! After nagging the Director for what felt like ages, she finally gave you control over purchasing. From here on out, no purchases could be made without the Director’s approval, and you were there to enforce that decree.
What did that mean? It meant the Ferrylady would no longer accompany Wangsheng Funeral Parlor’s most troublesome consultant to procure supplies anymore! Yes, you had everything planned out: a shopping list, a strict budget, possible vendors… This was the day you would finally start beating into teaching Zhongli how to properly use and budget Mora!
You had to stifle a creepy giggle as you reviewed your plan one more time. You both would be purchasing supplies for an upcoming funeral rite for a prominent family within Liyue. The family had a long history tracing back to a little after the Archon War. Because of such, the items required to perform the rite were going to be expensive. After conducting a bit of market research, you came out with a budget of 150,000 Mora. At the very least, 125,000 Mora would be spent today. However, wanting to teach him a lesson, you told him the day before that the Director only allotted 100,000.
“You seem to be in a good mood,” came an amused chuckle at your side.
You glanced away and cleared your throat, doing your best to wipe the grin from your face.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about, Zhongli. I’m the same as always.”
You did your best to feign interest in the different shops you passed in an attempt to calm your raging spirit. It was going to be a long day, after all. Not only were the shops located all over the harbor, but you would have to compare prices too. Return trips would be inevitable. That wasn’t even mentioning the irritation Zhongli’s cluelessness was going to put you through. Speaking of which…
“Remember, okay? We only have 100,000 Mora to spend. We will have to be picky with the quality and price of everything we come across. There’s no shame in refusing to buy something that does not match our budget.”
“Yes, of course. Being that I am, as you say, not ‘well-versed in Mora,’ I’m sure I will learn much from your guidance today.”
Leave it to him to lay it on thick…
The first item on your list was a box of incense. Not just any incense would do, though. Qixin wasn’t a common ingredient used in incense, but that was what the funeral required. Seeing that the flower only grew at very high altitudes, the incense was typically quite pricey. You were estimating it’d be around 25,000 Mora, give or take a few thousand.
You knew how it was going to happen. You could see it playing out before you. Zhongli would choose a pricey shop, the shopkeep would rip you off, Zhongli would agree to pay, and there you be to would swoop in to teach him that the budget most certainly had to be followed! You would crush his expensive tastes into the dust! So as he began leading you to the priciest shop in Feiyun Slope, you vibrated with excitement. Things were going to go just as you expected!
So… things most certainly did not go just as you expected. In fact, if you had to be honest, you had no clue what was going on right now.
It wasn’t normal from the very start. When you took a step inside the shop, the shopkeep already didn’t seem to be in a good mood. And when he noticed you both, the glare on his face intensified. It took a bit to realize it wasn’t you he was staring at, but Zhongli. Which was strange. You knew the consultant got around a lot, but you didn’t think that anyone hated him. Sure, you didn’t exactly like him, but you never felt that strongly!
But your companion didn’t seem to notice a thing. Pleasantly, he inquired about the incense without missing a beat. Not much to your surprise, the shopkeep didn’t reply. He simply stared. After a few seconds, slowly and purposefully came his voice in a low gravelly tone.
“You. You Mr. Zhongli?”
Then the man stood up. His arms were thick, and his frame a hulking build. You’d mistaken him for a bear if he were covered in hair. And when he took a step forward, he loomed, no, towered over Zhongli.
“Ah, yes. May I help you?” Came Zhongli’s polite response.
You wanted to scream. You wanted to cry. You wanted to throw up. You wanted to take Zhongli’s hand and make a mad dash to the Millelith.
“There’s something I want to say to you.”
Tears pooled at the corners of your eyes; your legs threatened to collapse beneath you. The Wangsheng Funeral Parlor’s best consultant was about to be murdered and it would all be your fault. What in the world were you going to say to the director?
The man took another step forward, his hands clenched into fists, veins bulging. You had to do something. You had to do something!!
“Zhongli, I–”
Then the man dropped to his knees, took Zhongli’s hands…
And began to cry.
Uhm…
Long sobs wracked from the man’s chest as tears dripped to the ground.
Umm??
The man wept as he broke out into a long story about his recently deceased wife. His wife was ill with an incurable disease that often left her in pain. Having no way to pay for her medical expenses, he was forced to pawn off her most prized hairpins to cover the cost of medicine. Sadly, after his wife eventually passed, he did not have the Mora to buy the hairpins back. But right before he gave up all hope, the “lady from the creepy funeral place” visited him with his late wife’s hairpins saying that the debt had been paid off by Zhongli.
Though he could not give the incense for free as much as he wanted to, the shopkeep offered it for a greatly discounted price of 10,000 Mora. After much thanking, you both paid the vendor and left and…
What in the world just happened?
“Shall we head to the next place, First?”
You opened your mouth to reply, but no sound left. You still had no clue what just… What???
“Did you… know that man, Zhongli?”
He held his chin in thought.
“No, I’ve never met him. But I do remember finding a pair of beautiful jade hairpins collecting dust in Mr. Bolai’s shop,” he replied. “It would have been a pity if I left them, so I asked the Ferrylady pay them off.”
You narrowed your eyes as you searched through your memories.
“Yes, I think I remember that. The Ferrylady even asked me to put some funds on the side for living expenses…” You groaned as your hands clenched tightly. “That wasn’t a business expense! You should have used your own funds for that!”
But Zhongli gave his usual smile in response to your frustration. “Perhaps, but it did turn out to be a suitable investment for us both in the end.”
He did have a point.
“W-Well, you can’t say that will happen in the future,” You blustered. “A-Anyway, let’s head onto the next place. We need a pair of jade bracelets.”
And as you took off ahead of him, you were going to make sure the rest of the day fell into place the way you planned.
So… the next visit also did not fall into place the way you planned… The moment Zhongli mentioned he would be visiting a “friend,” your mood took a turn for the worst. Just like before, you took a step into the shop, Zhongli asked for the items, and you both walked out with a huge discount. This time, in particular, 60,000 Mora dropped down to 40,000 in an instant. When you insisted on paying full price, the owner protested saying he could never charge the great Zhongli anymore than that “after all he’s done for the shop.”
What made it worse was Zhongli’s utterly infuriating amusement with the whole situation.
“I am relieved. It seems we are well under budget. I did not expect things to run so smoothly.”
Your nails dug half-moons into your palms as your lips pulled back into a smile that showed all teeth.
“Yes, almost as if someone planned this all ahead of time.”
“They all were coincidences, I assure you.”
“Mhm.”
But no big deal. You saw your fault. You would choose the next shop. The last item on your shopping list was a pair of high-grade raw Noctilucus Jade. From your research last week, you estimated it would range between 55,000-75,000 Mora, no lower. Out of the many shops that sold ore in the harbor, you chose to visit one near the end of Chihu Rock. That specific vendor specialized in high-quality ore and artisan products said ore. Most importantly, he was known to be quite pricey. There would be no discounts here!
When you finally arrived, you were shocked that the shop was much smaller than you thought it’d be. Though the doors were open, the owner was nowhere to be found. Supposing he was in the back, you moved to examine the lefthand side of the shop which housed the artisan goods.
As you examined the various goods, you couldn’t help but be impressed. You heard they were of fine quality, but that didn’t even come close to seeing them in person. There was one particular figurine that caught your eye. It was a bird made of iron with Cor Lapis embedded into its eyes and wings. Though small, the details were intricate and fine. If you saved up, you wondered if you would ever be able to purchase–
“It’s 165,000 Mora if ye were wonderin’.”
You immediately spun away as if burned with fire. There at the back of the store, the shopkeep stood, probably having just returned from the storage room. He was an older man, though not withered in the slightest. And with that intimidating glint in his eye, you almost wanted to hide behind Zhongli.
“I-I was just looking, thank you,” you stuttered.
After composing yourself, you gave him your best smile.
“My companion and I are actually here to see your supply of Noctilucus Jade.”
“Yeah? What grade are ye looking for?”
Zhongli stepped forward.
“Your highest quality, boss.”
The shopkeep’s brow rose before walking into the back room. After a few moments, he came back out with a basket of jade. You took a step closer to examine them curiously. Even though you did not know much about precious stones, even in their unrefined state, they still somehow managed to look clearer than the polished jade jewelry you found being sold on the streets. Honestly, they were so beautiful you were half-prepared to skimp on the other supplies just to purchase one.
“95,000 Mora.”
Well, that was definitely out of budget.
“... Is what I would say normally,” he continued.
Uh-oh…
“Yer in luck. Our guys found a new deposit of Cor Lapis recently. High grade too.”
Oh gods…
“Dropped the price down to 45,000 Mora.”
Was the sound that just came from you a bark of laughter or a sob?
“F-Forty-five… That’s much lower than my research suggested,” you let out weakly.
“That fits within our budget, yes?” Butted in Zhongli with a twinkle in his eye. “We’ll take it, boss.”
And as the boss wrapped up your Cor Lapis, you simply stood there dumbly. And as Zhongli paid with the wallet he took from your hands, you were still in a state of shock. And as you walked away from the store items in tow, your brain was still blank. You were simply gone.
Your companion, on the other hand, was not.
With amusement emanating from him like waves, he gave you a smile with the brightness of a thousand burning suns.
“I am surprised. Although I was worried today’s task would be difficult, it proved simpler than I imagined.”
He then paused for much added effect.
“It most surely was due only to your exceptional guidance.”
You screamed.
As you placed all the items purchased within the parlor’s storeroom, you couldn’t help but feel impressed with your coworkers. The moment you stepped inside, they immediately avoided your gaze and glued themselves to their paperwork. Was it because your nearly tangible fury was making its goal to ooze into every nook and cranny there? Perhaps. Even Zhongli was quick to remove himself from your side once he could.
Coward.
As the events of the day replayed over and over in your head, you couldn’t figure out where exactly you went wrong. This really should have been a simple task. There never was a time when Zhongli spent at a discount. He always opted for the premium option. So how in the world did every single occurrence today equate to not only spending less than your budgeted amount, but also less than the impossible amount you set up as a prank!?
You groaned and collapsed into your desk chair. You rubbed at your temples, hoping the pounding in your skull and the ache within your muscles would ebb away soon. In the back of your mind, you thanked the gods for not being able to turn down the director’s offer of ending early for the day. She giggled about how you would not regret her offer, and didn’t allow your hubris to refuse. You hated that cheeky grin of hers, but she was right. The sooner you got home, the better.
In your rush to pack your things, you almost failed to notice a small drawstring bag on your desk. It was simple, an unassuming blue, but the way it stood with ease indicated something inside. Reaching inside brought you face to face with something familiar: an iron figurine inlaid with Cor Lapis eyes and feathers. But who–
“Oh, Mr. Zhongli left that for you. He said it was a gift for your assistance today,” called the Ferrylady’s voice across the room.
But… wasn’t that strange? You only saw the figurine for the first time a couple of hours ago. It wasn’t like he could’ve gotten it in advance. You had a tight grip on the wallet the whole time. Not to mention you were the one that paid for every–
Wait a minute…
You lunged for the parlor wallet and poured the mora onto your desk. You counted its contents once, twice, three times, then once more. Something wasn’t right. Zhongli had a history of using parlor funds to purchase gifts for coworkers and friends. Not only that! He was the one that paid for that last transaction, the store that housed the iron bird. No doubt he must have taken advantage of your shock to make the purchase!
But not a single mora was missing from the wallet.
Nor a beautiful phoenix of iron and Cor Lapis listed on the receipts.

Hi! If you take requests, can you do something with Zhongli who start to have feeling for hydro who is likely reminds him of Guizhong (like a reincarnation of her but not that)
Tumblr media
。゚🌨。 rainbow
°。⋆ zhongli x reader
°。⋆ kinda yandere zhongli omg, reader is from inazuma, selfish motivations, angst, bittersweet ending (wc. 1.1k)
note: i thought this would suit a ficlet rather than a hc, so i hope you don’t mind! also, i don’t rlly love the idea of zhongli liking someone purely bc they remind him of guizhong (or just in gen, yk love someone for who they are not bc of what they remind you of, bring to you, or whatever else), so i hope its fine that its a bit more angsty ^^ (also wasn’t quite sure how to incorporate the hydro part in a big way, so all in all its more used as a metaphor.)
Tumblr media
the way the breeze hit your face, the way your expression softened under his touch, you reminded him so fondly of her. that’s precisely why he has to hold back tears as you sit him down in a more secluded area of the cafe.
“i’m happy for you, dear. when do you leave?”
“tomorrow! can you believe it? i finally get to visit all my friends after a tough few years…”
unaware of the sound of his heartbeat faltering, you happily take a sip of the tea you’ve ordered. you were happy in liyue, of course; you had made many friends and memories here, but it wasn’t truly “home”. you had planned on visiting liyue for a week or two when the sakoku decree was enforced, and that “week or two” quickly became a year.
initially, it was certainly terrifying; not knowing whether your loved ones were safe, and not having a home to come back to. this uncertainty, however, was gently soothed away by a man by the name of zhongli. he had found you crying outside the wangsheng funeral parlor; at the time you had just be informed of the decree. drawn by the cloud of rain that seemed to form above your head, he didn’t mind getting a bit drenched.
“you don’t seem to be from around here… and you’re crying all alone in a rain of your own doing nonetheless. would you like some company, dear traveller?”
you only let out a weak chuckle and nod, fearing that your words would betray you. you both settled into a comfortable silence as he simply sat beside you, giving you nothing but his company. you didn’t realise how alone you felt until that moment; you wanted to cry more, shout louder, your body started trembling over the realisation.
he quickly noticed this and enveloped you in a hug; he knew it was crossing your boundaries, but he couldn’t bear to see you carry the pain all alone. you did nothing to resist, accepting his touch.
“i’m… i’m sorry, i just…”
“it’s fine.” you gasped in between tears, your breathing only getting more uneven.
“perhaps you would like to talk about it over some tea?” he was still only restrained to hugging you gently, feeling as though the slightest touch would shatter you. you nod once again, letting him help you up.
and that was how you got here.
zhongli instantly became someone you could rely on; he guided you through liyue in more ways than one, culture, history and even making new friends! in that time, he also picked up on how much you reminded him of his… old friend. he’d try to shake it off or push you away, but he always felt the need to protect and guide you; the way he couldn’t for his dear friend. alas, his fantasy was soon coming to and end.
after hearing your sentiments, he too took a sip of his tea; his throat feeling increasingly dry.
“i understand, i mean you told me all about it on that fateful day we met.” he pauses and closes his eyes. it takes every muscle in his face to force a smile, and it eventually does come out, barely. “yes, dear, this is great. i’m so happy for you.” he opens his eyes to see you smiling right back at him; that smile killing him in more ways than one.
“yup! i couldn’t have gotten through it all without you, zhongli. i’m so thankful to have had you as a friend.”
the way your eyes curve into crescents, he can’t hold back anymore. he wasn’t ready to just stop seeing you, not without admitting his own secrets; at the same time, he wasn’t completely to reveal them either.
“i– wait. will you be back any time soon?”
“probably not for a while, i missed a lot while i’ve been here.”
“but you will eventually?”
“i’m not yet sure, i haven’t even–”
“it’s a yes or no question.”
you’ve never seen nor heard him this way; his face deadpanned and his voice stern. you didn’t know where all of this was coming from, he was happy just moments ago.
“zhongli, what’s with the sudden change in mood?”
he realises his palms are face down on the table, and his voice is almost shaking. meanwhile, you were just there, staring up at him innocently, waiting for him to respond. just like her, you were the calm to his storm, giving him way more understanding than he though he deserved.
“i’m sorry, i didn’t mean to…”
“i understand, but where is this coming from, zhongli? what is this about?”
he lets out a shaky breath, his walls surely crumbling down. the facade of his feelings had finally come to light.
“guizhong, i… you just remind me too much of her, i can’t let you go, not yet. i love you…”
he sits back down, defeated by this own emotions. he hasn’t a clue what your reaction might be, but if you’re anything like her, he knows it won’t be the most positive.
“zhongli… i’m not her.” you stutter out, a lump stuck in your throat. you very much knew who she was; he had told you who he actually was, he had told you the history of liyue, his friends, the yakshas, everything. you thought he had told you everything, but the present says otherwise.
“i know that you know i’m not her. you’re wise, you’re smart, you just… you’re overtaken by your emotions, zhongli…” you pause for another moment feeling a tear finally roll down your cheek. “i-i’ve loved you too, but… please love me for me, not for her.” you gather any strength you have left to stand up and leave him there to face himself.
after you’re long gone, zhongli finds a wave of tears rushing down his cheeks, not unlike the rain clouds you create when you cry. perhaps he deserved it.
a new day’s sun rises, and you’re gone just like that. your boat had left in the early hours of the dawn, and you didn’t bother to look back; that’s what you tell yourself at least, because zhongli finds a bouquet of camellias with a note on his doorstep.
“to answer your question, i will be back one day when we’ve both grown a bit older and our minds a bit clearer. i love you dearly, zhongli. i hope you’ll love me too, one day.”
he stares at the note a bit longer, noticing the way the sun slowly covers it in its light; oh how he wishes it would just rain.

I Like to think that when Barbatos and Morax got better acquainted they'd get into long and winding arguments (unironically or not) ranging from the pettiest things to debating and discussing great philosophical questions
even funnier if you consider the vastness of their power: there are several instances of terraformation due to conflict within the gods/death of gods/etc. (they have direct impacts on the environment, intentional or otherwise) it would not be surprising if an altering of their surroundings occurred because an argument got too heated
Gods in genshin are so funny theres this sort of humanistic quality to them but there's still an obvious even if slight (at the very least) detachment from human society - they would definitely chop off the head of a mountain to prove a point. Cannot wait to see them interacting live ... so excited for lantern rite
Their voicelines give "old friends/old married couple who Bicker a lot and act sick of each other #Some Times" and im sure they have many disagreements (they're character foils if you think about it) but they obviously respect each other and their opinions immensely . They're very much Opposite but they're also some of the most similar characters we know of
Their ideals represent a system for a stable society when combined. Venti is someone who represents freedom, the right to the people's self determination, while Zhongli is the god of contracts, whose ideal is order. At their most radical (freedom to an extremity = chaos, order at its extremity is instead far too imposing) both can lead to an undesired or even the opposite outcome: if nothing was ever enforced and people were to do just as they pleased, there exists no system for control and protection over the natural rights of anybody. On the other hand, an overarching presence of authority and control might lead to feelings of anxiety and animosity within the population, and if whoever is leading is left unchecked as well, may lead to the infringement of natural rights (contracts are not always inherently correct or just, nor are they always enforced properly)...if the slightest feeling that an authority is too controlling, it will lead to a disruption of order (rebellion) - and if a way to amend contracts or judge them does not exist, then the society that is lacking such a method is objectively unjust.
So obviously there would have to be some sort of balance between the two to keep things Fair and the people Happy and the state of all things, for the most part, stable. Stability is security. Both of them do understand the importance of the other and know things are not so black and white. They just went about it in different ways. Venti established his ideals regarding freedom in the hearts and the culture of Mond - while he does not enforce anything directly, he made sure to make them understand that not only are they entitled to freedom, but others are as well, and that they should go about it in a righteous manner. And if there is a situation in which these freedoms are being attacked, he does interfere. He comes to the aid of his people when the situation requires it
Rex Lapis passed down his ideals onto his people as well but had a more direct, overt presence in his nation than Venti did. He (and Guizhong) laid down the foundations for Liyuean society, creates systems of regulation (e.g., mora, legal system - like with what we see with yanfei) And while he does prioritise contracts, zhongli understands the importance of freedom (self determination) and justice. Like with xiao !! Not only did he liberate him (I think that comes with having to defeat his previous master) but he bestowed upon him a name, and allowed xiao, who wanted to pay back his gratitude to Rex Lapis in the form of service, to join him on his cause. Even before Zhongli's resignation as Liyue's archon he still recognised xiao's freedom to determine how he would live his life from that point moving forward. Xiao just acts out of obligation because it's first nature for him (in reference to the chasm interlude quest). That and his decision to depart and become a member of normal human society... at some point he realised that these people could probably function fine on their own. Venti just realised that much earlier. Zhongli did the same as soon as he felt that everything would be secure .. from what we know of Liyue during the archon war, Zhongli and his people were much more involved in direct conflict with other nations than Mond was (so it makes sense why it'd take longer)
The both of them are very much complementary forces. I could go on about this for pages upon pages but those are just my thoughts on this Particular evening. Who knows maybe we'll get something like that with fontaine and natlan / natlan and snezhnaya (opposites!!) I wouldn't be surprised. I'm not exactly expecting it but It is something the writers seem like they'd do
My history teacher recently did a lecture about the enlightenment + enlightenment thinkers/theory and we just finished renaissance (so I've been interacting with a lot regarding political structures/social ideas) so it got me thinking about geopolitical systems in genshin even more it really is so fascinating . The new black panther movie presents a really interesting take on these sorts of topics as well while incorporating several other purposes/themes, and it does a splendid job in my opinion I would recommend it. It's very well thought out. but ya . errgghrhr I hope this was interesting if you made it to the end. venti and zhongli are so great and a lot of their character is still yet to be explored so !!!!! amazing. I apologise in advance for the Person I will become once venti's 2nd story quest comes out (and/or further story arcs regarding their characters) you will never hear me shut up . sorry for how this is formatted and written. I Hate it but I csnt bring myself to get it all proper I'm so sleepy

Angell's 5k Follower Event (Wholesome Version)
Here is the more whole some version of the 5k follower event. The prompts from here can be smutty or I just pure fluff depending on what you ask, or if you don't specify I'll just see what I'm in the mood for.
For this event you may chose the prompt and the character of your choice for me to write for. I'll only do one character per prompt so this will be first come first served.
I know dark stuff isn't everyone's cup of tea, tbh most of it isn't exactly mine either, at least not at the moment. So I made this more wholesome version too, to balance things out so everyone can get something they enjoy.
The prompts you can choose from are:
Just married - Kaeya Alberich - Wedding Night Cuddles Taking a bath together - Azul Ashengrotto - Under the Bubbles Coffee shop AU - Childe - How Do You Take It Beach day - Sevika - Eye Candy and Muscles First date - Idia Shroud - Inner Flame Burning Hot Domestic bliss - Zhongli - Rex Lapis Experience Fake/Pretend relationship - Enforcer Grayson - Protection Services Visiting at work - Diluc Ragnvindr - Quick Break Long Night Hurt/Comfort - Jayce Talis - Forging Bonds Late nights - Human Alastor - Radio Silence
Once someone requests the prompt I will update this post, and of course once I fill up the prompt the post will also be updated so people know where I'm at with these.
And with that you're welcome to either comment on the post or send me the prompt and the character in my inbox. Whichever you like more. You can also share this post if you want, would be a great help actually.

I would like to ask about your ocs and genshin au 🥺☝️
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU-
*Ahem* Anyway ૮꒰⸝⸝> ̫ <⸝⸝꒱ა-
You’re my first ask! So happy to make your acquaintance! Ive needed to get this out for a while so:
This all stemmed from me realizing that Mondstadt has such a small amount of story compared to the rest of the nations. It has minimal would building and little lore. I understand this is probably because it’s basically the tutorial nation but still-
I have a hardcore love for my baby🥹.
I only actually played Genshin for a little bit (and it was around the time Liyue was coming out) so all I had was Mond and it enraptured me.
It started also with me realizing the people of Mond (and Liyue as well) were stupid because the statues of their gods are RIGHT THERE but they can’t put two and two together with Zhongli and Venti starting next to them.
Mond is more cultish in this AU, worshiping Barbatos with a bit more vigor, as well as the fact that they do know Venti is Barbatos. I mean, who else would pay his tab? They give him the freedom of walking around without having to deal with his godly duties, because he graced them with the most freedom out of all seven nations!
Anyway-
Let’s start with the main OC!~
“Mein Herr Majesstät der Heilige Vater Ludwig Fritz Köhler von Leichenberg!”
Otherwise known as:
“My Lord the Holy Father Ludwig Fritz Köhler von Leichenberg”
(His name is Ludwig Fritz Köhler von Leichenberg if you couldn’t tell!)
Mrs. Ludwig is the High Priest for Mondstadt, the person all who aren’t affiliated with the knights respond to, and even then he’s technically above the knights in terms of power!
The High Priest is technically the highest rank in Mondstadt, all orders coming and going through him, as I believe Mond to be more of a Theocracy if anything, being run by an unnamed book about Barbatos that only the High Priest has access to.
The thing about this role is it makes the holder immortal. Every time an old Priest dies, a new one is hand picked from the church by Barbatos (Note: Only three of these Priests have existed, Ludwig being the current and longest holder of the title).
If I had to describe him, I’d say he’s a man who’d do anything in order to get on Barbatos’s graces, no matter the cost. He’s stricken on the rules of Mond, but enforces the fact that everyone should have their freedoms.
Due to his… less than idea childhood he’s a very sexually charged man. I’d call him hypersexual. He finds comfort in sex, though not in a healthy way, so please help him figure out other romantic ways to express himself! He is gay, and I personally believe he’d be with Varka if anyone. But he’s also Poly and has two hands!~
I won’t go into detail so I can get to the others, but have a few fun facts!
He calls close friends “Vögelchen” which means little bird, people in the clergy/city are called “Spatz” which means sparrow, and the children of Mond are “Spatzi” which is little sparrow!
He HATES Morax but can stand Zhongli. He just dislikes any other nation in general but Liyue gets the brunt of it.
He likes to say he got his Vision from kissing Barbatos. (He really fucked him but no one has to know-)
He can’t handle alcohol at all. A simple whiff of GRAPE JUICE is enough to get this man as though he drank 5 bottles of vodka with no breaks in between
Now onto:
Tempest Fae Gardian: Detleif!
He is…. A centaur! Big ole beefy centaur as well! And a sweetheart!
Detleif guards the divide between Mond and the Fae Wilds! (Which I will explain if request!) He more or less represents the Demi-human population in Mond, and his story quest would reveal the hidden nation of Demi-Humans!
Being a horse, he cannot glide nor climb, but he has a boost in running and in swimming!
He’s overall just a very jolly man who’s happy to be here, and is based off of German show horses! Specifically in the spring! He can hold a good solid…. Hundred pints of beer and is great friends with Ludwig!
(If you couldn’t tell, I worked a bit more on Ludwig compared to everyone else lol)
Some fun facts before we move on:
He didn’t gain his anemo vision with dead friend trauma :) (He got it from dead daughter trauma :3 )
He allows the children of Mond to ride on his back and braid flowers into his hair Repunzel style.
He often takes Venti home on his back when he gets too drunk to walk.
And finally (because I have at least 2 for each nation and I don’t want this to be to long):
Finn!
A winged Hilichurl! Who can speak! Wow!
In my AU, Ludwig decided to basically crusade the hilichurls into believing in Barbatos, and he met what was thought to be an extinct variant of churl, feathered!
You can actually find winged hilichurls in the manga, what panel? I can’t remember-
He’s a little bastard but he’s my little bastard :).
He has three bodyguards (two Mita and one Samachurl), because… you know… people kill churls of all kinds without hesitation (and I wouldn’t be shocked if people mounted their heads on walls honestly)
Some quick fun facts:
He’s taller and lankier than most, and actually looks down on most smaller characters (I’m looking at you Xiao)
Just like Ludwig, he fucking HATES Liyue; last time he went there, he was nearly killed
He has a bat like tail, it ends with a wisp, and all his fluff is slightly fluffier.
I’m going to stop here because I could go on and on but I don’t want to boar-d (hehe, get it?-) you. But if you have any questions feel free to ask! ૮꒰ྀི∩´ ᵕ `∩꒱ྀིა

First Impressions..?
Description: You’re relatively new to one of the most prestigious colleges in teyvat, wouldn’t it be nice to have someone to accompany you?
Characters: Xiao, Zhongli, Heizou. (will do a part two with fem characters and additional male if you’d like! <3)
Tumblr media
Xiao
• You would be lying to yourself if you claimed he wasn’t one of the primary people you noticed upon your first day.
• You found him seated towards the back of the lecture hall, typing away on his laptop in front of him, engrossed in his work completely. How does he do it? Don’t know.
• His black hair with occasional streaks of teal framing his face gently when he looked up to confirm his surroundings. His golden attentive eyes, lined with hues of ruby and marigold, directly contrasting his harsh gaze.
• You decided to settle into the row behind him, which was mainly empty, much to your liking. Setting up your own devices in front of you and reading your subject brief handed to you by the lecturer.
• Unbeknownst to you, Xiao had noticed your presence and your status as new in this school. Although Xiao was not the type to outwardly help you, not just yet anyway, he did hope you would settle in nicely, you appeared pleasant.
• Upon getting a closer look at him, he appeared to have tattoos covering his biceps and forearm, a faint glow present just like his irises. Majestic was the only word to describe him. His notes seemed organised and simple, only containing key information, yet helpful nonetheless.
• Seeing as you both were noticeably pursuing the same major, you both hoped for future interactions…
Tumblr media
Zhongli
• College brings quite the responsibility around, doesn’t it? You were well aware of this, hence previously planning all your future actions.
•Unfortunately, not everything goes to plan, things change and become inaccessible at certain times.
• You found yourself prioritising two things: Accommodation and an Income. Deciding it would be appropriate to begin work first, you found yourself at a local campus café.
• The manager promised a decent pay and a cozy atmosphere, to which both were fulfilled. The overall comfy surroundings and delicious brunch served daily made said café a hotspot for tired hungry students with backpacks fuller than their stomachs.
• Many people traversed in and out of the restaurant daily, however there was this one memorable student within your major who found himself in a routine of studying at the homey, dim bistro every Wednesday and Friday.
• From the initial time you met him, he upheld himself in such grace and politeness you would not of guessed he was a similar age to you. A gentle smile and a simple greeting before ordering a osmanthus oolong tea as per usual was enough to brighten up your fatiguing shift.
• Your conversations became more indulgent and frequent after you both established you were both participating in the same course.
• Over time you couldn’t help but adore and cherish his quite literally stunning features. Gorgeous serene eyes, to which you felt were quite familiar but couldn’t place a finger to, which were patient and amiable always willing to aid you..
•Or his lengthy hazel tresses, other times kept in a sleek updo, or left down in all its ethereal glory which you took pleasure in sneakily caressing, internally drooling over how soft his hair was.
• One thing you knew for certain is that you would be learning from his fashion sense and routines, who let him look so put together as a geography and economics major?
Tumblr media
Heizou
• You had heard that the criminology course available at this college was praised beyond others, partly due to its additional involvement with practical projects.
•Although you were a little apprehensive to walk into the large lecture hall, notably ten minutes late, you figured that schedule was not directly punished as it was in high schools where discipline was enforced to ‘build structure’ , which you personally thought didn’t work well anyway. Independence is key, right?
• You greeted the lecturer with a curt wave, before calmly walking to the back of the hall, preventing distraction to others.
• A certain individual on the far side of the room couldn’t help but gesture you over, he could see right through your ‘shield’, after all, he once experienced this too himself.
• Surprised was an understatement of how you felt, is he looking at me? Almost as if he could sense your confusion, he nodded his head playfully and patted the seat next to him.
•You welcomed the idea of a potential acquaintance and seatmate, so you rather happily sat next to him as per his request.
• ‘I couldn’t help but notice you’re new and needed an introduction to the course, Im Heizou!’ His first impression was certainly a lasting one. His cheerful tone made you warm up to him quite quickly, you could not deny he was very talkative, desiring camaraderie.
• It seemed diversity and distinctiveness existed most predominantly in this institute, for his appearance was one to treasure. Olive viridescent optics that shone with curiosity and thoughtfulness, each with their respective mole below them, alluring indeed. His burgundy red hair messily reaching down to his neck with a constant benevolent smile plastered on his face, which occasionally whispered lighthearted teases and comical jokes.
• He knew you will get on with him quite well, soon best friends perhaps?
