Yes, there are a lot of David Tennant characters. I don't want to write for the actor himself, I just feel a little creepy doing that. In my numerous Steve Harrington fics, the more recent ones (The OC is always Dustin's older sister, except in one) I think he is the best Doctor and I think he should officially be titled as the biggest Doctor Who Fan ever. (He became an actor because of Doctor Who, he says he thinks he underplays how much he loved Doctor Who, he became the first regenerated Doctor and the first one to last more than one season on the revived Doctor Who, he met his future father-in-law, like a year before he met his wife, Ty Tennant, Georgia's oldest son and David's now adopted son, in 2008, considered the Tenth to be his favorite, and hilariously, his grandfather was nowhere on the five-year-old's list--then David Tennant met Georgia (at the time) Moffat on the set of Doctor Who as she, the daughter of the Fifth Doctor, played the daughter of the Tenth Doctor, I heard that David Tennant met Ty on the set, and according the Peter Davidson, Georgia didn't even realize that he liked her when they started going out (apparently he was offended when she said she hadn't seen any Shakespeare), then David Tennant counts as the unofficial twelfth regeneration (there was the War Doctor who the Doctors deem as not worthy of having the name of the Doctor), then he adopted Ty Tennant and married Georgia; he returned for the 50th and 60th anniversary (and I hope he never stops returning), now is the Fourteenth Doctor, that's three official regenerations, and Good Omens is full of Doctor Who references. I don't think anyone can beat him for the biggest Doctor Who fan. His life like revolves around Doctor Who in a way that every fanboy/fangirl dreams of.

I have created an OC to be the Henderson!OC and Dustin's father and I always choose David Tennant, he just really gives off protective I-will-kill-anyone-who-hurts-you dad vibe and I have a soft spot for an overprotective dad for his daughter (I never had that. My dad wanted a boy--granted the disapproval that's implied is possibly because my mom told me this--and he is ADHD and was always sleeping and then he moved two towns over which was an hour's drive but seemed longer in my ADHD mind but so he could sleep and I could play video games on the Xbox that's memory wouldn't save the game so I continuously had to start over. Oh, and also, there's the fact that a TV fell on me when I was five/six because I didn't understand gravity and I locked myself in the dryer when I was seven/eight. What, is that not normal? 🙄) I'm not a big crier but a father that's willing to do anything for his daughter is your best bet. Sorry for this rant.

*(Can't pinpoint what house Alec Hardy and therefore Emmet Carver would be in, the only blog I've found on it, discussed how he may be a burnt Hufflepuff (just google it, it'll send you to the tumble immediately) but hiscusses his desperation in season two suggests Gryffindor, also implying his ignoring of his heart condition but he's aware that he has it, so he's gone to the hospital and he takes pills, he's just aware that the doctors told him that he may not survive his surgery to have the pacemaker put in and he feels like he owes it to the families to get the closure they deserve, so it doesn't strike me as impulsive but more dedicated, determined, and "unafraid of toil". Then the blog argues that his need to protect people he views as in his care and how he related to the Sandbrooke case as Slytherin but I don't see that. I think perhaps a "Burned Hufflepuff" is accurate.*

Dynasty's Group

Dynasty(Leader)- The younger sister of Drayton and the granddaughter of Drayden, Dynasty tends to be shy around those she doesn't know but can be hyper and smiley around those she is familiar with.

Electia(Vice Leader): One of the first friends Dynasty makes, she's the daughter of Elesa. Electia enjoys taking pictures with her friends and at times is one of the few protective ones of the group and everyone's moral support.

Lena- Daughter of Lenora, she never backs down from a challenge, and enjoys being around her friends and at times battling them if they accept her challenges. She's protective of the others and becomes angry if any of them are in danger.

Ingie and Engie- Sons of the subway twins, Ingo and Emmet, Ingie and Engie get along like them despite Ingie being born blind. Engie is protective of him as he is with everyone else and is the one who taught Ingie how to maneuver around without help.

Colby- Son of Colress, Colby was initially disinterested in his father's work and his business at times caused a rift between them in which Colby would become distant but he feels more courage to talk with his father after meeting his friends and becomes interested in the Shiny Pokemon phenomenon.

Fenrik- Fennel's son, who is very blunt with others including his friends but knows how to crack jokes and smile with them. He is protective of the others and can get snappy when they're insulted, forcing people down onto their knees with insults even if Colby tries to stop him.

Grimor- Son of Grimsley, Grimor tends to be the one who scolds his dad about gambling but is revealed that he, himself, gambles away snacks to others to the point his Scraggy decides to beat him up for gambling his food away.

Shannet- The daughter of Shauntal and is a major bookworm. She's the peacemaker of the group, calming the others if they're mad at each other and breaking up any fights that tend to happen. She enjoys sharing knowledge she finds from books and is stated to be smart with strategies.

Conor- The son of Caitlin and a former major jerk to everyone. He becomes nicer after Dynasty demolishes him in a battle, although still spoiled and mean at times yet its toned down. He cares greatly about the others and tends to still be smug about his Pokémon powers and abilities.

Beth- Burgh's daughter and the shy one of the group. She's jumpy and easily startled, leaping behind some of the tall members in their group and peeking out. She's a talented wood carver and tends to make carvings of her Pokémon or friends but is too embarrassed to show them to anyone including her father.

Sylus- The son of Steven Stone and the lone wolf of the group. He's cold and indifferent to others when he's not close to them and is still the same even when those who manage to befriend him get close. He dislikes his father for an unknown reason that caused a rift between them and prefers to hang out with his friends even when Steven invites him for some time together.

Kieran(Former Member)- Kieran was a former member of the group, having split apart from them after returning from Kitakami. He was close with Dynasty and Beth but instantly became fairly distant and slightly colder towards them.

Vennia and Vennis- Volkner's twins that traveled, like Sylus, to attend BB Academy. Vennia is the more hyper twin with Vennis being calmer and stoic but both are dangerous in a battle either together or apart. They're close with Dynasty since they share the Black Mareep title in their families.

Dude.

Selkies.

I feel like I did see someone else mention submas twins as selkies, but I cannot for the life of me remember who it was. But YES. Just. Sweet seal men, in awe that you, a human, have returned their coat to them - which, unbeknownst to you, means you’re now married. Congratulations!

Or even just them pining for you every time you go visit the beach during your vacation; them deliberately dropping their coat nearby for you to pick up.

Even better, if you want some angst or a bit of action, one or both of the selkie twins caught by a lab, (could be run by legit marine biologists, or by some evil team wanting to capture and sell mythical creatures to the highest bidder) with you as one of the scientists/an intern. You can bond with them, gain their trust, and depending on the direction you want this to go, you can help reunite them, or they decide to stay near the shore just to visit you when you go do research - OR! You can help break them out of the facility and back into the ocean. Maybe you hide them until they can get back home; maybe they have to help you go into hiding to evade the evil Team. Gotta keep their new mate safe!

As for the Marble Carver au, it’s like the story of Pygmalion, the man who carved a woman from ivory and fell in love with her, so Aphrodite made her come to life. Except it’s submas~

I have a soft spot for Emmet, but it could be either twin as the Pygmalion stand-in. (Or hell, it could even be the reader insert, carving themself a husband.)

I was originally thinking just a short, cute, romantic au, but then I realized it could also be kind of angsty if we want to say the carver is trying to bring a dead/missing loved one back to life, (like a fusion of Pygmalion and Orpheus.)

Another option is to add elements of horror to it - like some kind of Ib (fucking adore that game) fusion, or maybe the “scrapped” carvings are alive as well, but aren’t actually... you know. Right. Just, something a liiiiiittle uncanny.

Maybe Emmet tries to bring Ingo back by carving him a new body but something else takes it over? Or one of the boys tries to resurrect their dead s/o, to a similar effect. Or it is them but it isn’t. Or the entire other way around, with the s/o trying to resurrect one/both of the boys - or even just a dark version of the myth where they carve the statue and it comes to life but it’s not a happy ending.

I just. Have so much to write and I can’t choose what to do first. XD

Sibling Rights Bracket 2 Round 1 Results

This was it! This was the last chance for some of these siblings to get another shot at being featured in the top 5! Let's see who made it past the first round!

Akiko, Shotaro, and Philip are already doing better than they did in the main bracket, getting past the first round by beating Edgar and Sabin at 66.7%!

To the surprise of probably no one, Mario and Luigi won against Kai, Nya, and Lloyd at 78.9%!

Ayano, Tsubomi, Seto, and Shuuya beat Tommy and Dil at 64.7%!

Freya and Freyr beat out Phil and Lil at 68.8%!

Mia and Maya absolutely crushed Kaeya and Diluc with the shocking vote share of 90.5%!

Ciel and Rio beat out Jacob and Evie at 65%!

Lynne and Kamila won against Akito and Ena at 81%!

Hina and Ankh beat Claudia and Steve at 72.2%!

Spencer and Carly kept a strong advantage, and beat out Juleka and Luka at 73.9%!

Huey, Dewey, and Louie were at a perfect 50/50 split with Charlie and Lola, so a coin flip was used to make the decision that Charlie and Lola would make it into Round 2!

Elise spent a few more minutes in her home, gathering her thoughts.

Vampires. She had been taken by vampires. She had already done a thorough account of her bare skin in the bathroom mirror. No bite marks along her tattoos on her ribs, nor her shoulders or neck. Everything was free of harm.

Elise wished had cared for that fact a bit more. There was more distressful things to focus on…

She had searched for her bag. Not in sight. That made her panic. She had her mother’s writing in there- not a lot, but some crucial points. Her herbs… damn it. The weather was about to turn cold and she was going to be scarce on everything.

She tried to push it out of her mind. She had already made arrangements to see Billy later today. After her shop closed.

Rough night or no, leaving her shop closed for a day would put her out even more. She was under stress, but also accountable for her own survival.

Seems she had already survived a vampire within the last twelve hours. It wasn’t about to be herself that took her out of the game.

The Belle Bookshop stood proudly against the dark sky. It was a little brick building, connected with other businesses in the Forks Shopping Center.

God. They call this a shopping center. She had forgotten how small Forks was with her years away with her father. While in a normal mall, it was an indoor building with twenty shops or so- at least. Here, it was a humble sevenshops and an outdoor walk that took you by. The only business she knew of directly were: Newton’s Olympic Outfitters, The Carver Cafe, The Daily Thrift, and a tobacco shop she hadn’t quite visited with a name she never quite knew how to pronounce or remember.

She opened her shop, the hum of the lightbulbs above greeting her. Her bookshop had a nice, homey touch on the inside. Decorated in plants and old relics, the wooden bookshelves looked like they belonged. Slow traffic began to trickle in and out- a few teenagers looking for a Ouija board being one group. (Ouija boards? That’s not only dangerous— she was a bookshop, not a wonder emporium.)

She watched the dejected teenagers walk out, muttering amongst themselves. She went back to the computer behind the desk, typing.

When a gentle little patter of paws met her shoulders.

Ah. Her old friend- her familiar.

Nyx purred as she rested, draping herself across her owner’s shoulders. Elise felt the calico fur of her cat rub against the back of her neck, shaking her head.

“You silly cat,” she sighed.

El didn’t get too worried when Nyx had wandered off from the shop the other day. The cat was a born adventurer- no two ways about it. Elise had gotten the cat from her father, so of course the damn thing acted like him, too. She would bring her cat to and from work, and so that opened up opportunities to run away as well. Nyx always came back though- dramatically, mewing and cuddling like she was the one abandoned.

What a brat.

Elise found herself affectionately rubbing the cat’s face with a free hand, “About time you came back. I was starting to get worried.”

The pet purred.

She often wondered if the cat understood English.

The creature was her familiar for a reason. Her father, Francis, also had a knack for picking out the supernatural. (For example, her mother.)

Nyx was incredibly intuitive. Like a guide. If she was missing something, Nyx would be relaxing where it was shortly after. The cat had a freaky sense of compassion as well. Wouldn’t leave the side of the sick, sad or hurt.

Even if the cat wasn’t magical, it was smart.

Elise loved the damn thing in either case.

The bells above the door above the door jingled.

Another customer.

She raised her head to greet them from her desk, “Hi! Welcome to The Belle-“

Oh.

Carlisle and Emmet Cullen stood at the threshold of the shop. She hadn’t seen this brother up close before. Elise found herself focusing more on the doctor’s face for a moment.

His eyes stayed on her, brows furrowed. It was a blink of a moment, before his expression changed, “Elise. We didn’t think you’d be open today.”

She grinned, “I’m open six days a week- only closed on Thursday.”

“We just-“ Emmett began in a deep voice.

Carlilse cut him off swiftly, “- were wondering when was a good time to drop off the books I promised you.”

She noticed the taller brother roll his eyes, wandering into the shop. He ducked to avoid a low hanging lamp of hers, adjusting the backpack over his shoulder.

Emmett was a college student. That’s right. He commuted to his college each day- it wasn’t like the Cullen family couldn’t afford to do that. She was shocked they didn’t have more maids, cooks or drivers. Or any.

The doctor followed in, his eyes on her, “How has your health been, Elise?”

Nyx stretched around her shoulders, standing up and leaping onto the counter. El was so distracted by the movement, she didn’t read into the careful tone he used.

“I’ve been better, but I’m doing alright. My finger is recovering well.”

“With this cold weather moving in, I wouldn’t be shocked if you caught pneumonia at this rate.”

Doctorly concern. Something tugged at the back of her brain, though. He watched her carefully, stepping up to the counter.

Nyx cocked her head at the man before her. Mewled insistently.

“That’s Nyx,” Elise introduced, “Nyx, meet Dr. Cullen and Emmett Cullen.”

“You know my name?” the brother asked.

Crap. Yeah. That. “I’ve seen you around town, and I remember your name. It’s just the decent thing to do.”

“Hell yeah it is,” Emmett grinned, before turning to his brother, “I like her style so far.”

Style? Like? So far?

She gave a glanced to Dr. Cullen, who was way too busy ignoring the conversation at hand. He kept his eyes deliberately on Nyx, holding out a hand.

The cat stared, for a very long time. Longer than Elise had seen her take with a stranger. The cat held up its paw, gently swatting at Carlisle’s hand. Once, twice more. No aggression, just experimentation. The cat cocked her head again, and yawned.

“I’m sorry, she’s a bit of an odd one,” Elise hummed, rubbing the cat’s fur.

“She seems quite clever,” Carlisle nodded. He tilted his hand again for Nyx’s inquiry.

“Hey, can we get a pet? Or is Ed still being a dick about it?” Emmet commented, looking around at the artwork on her walls. She took the time to note him. He looked… strong. Not in the traditional, bodybuilder way. A type of strength that was held in realistic thickness. The man was a fortress of a person, and was just as alarming as his girlfriend in that respect.

Nyx sniffed the back of the doctor’s hand finally. Looked up at him, her inquisitive eyes burning into him. She then tilted her head, rubbing herself against the back of his hand.

Carlisle smiled, a thing that was meant just for himself, “Yeah, he’s still being difficult.”

Elise saw it anyway. Carlisle was a man to truly study and behold. She committed it to memory before looking away, rewarding Nyx with a quick scratch to her back, “So, you guys came here to ask about a good time for the books.”

The doctor blinked as his brother idly wandered off, looking quite bored with the conversation now. “Oh, yes. That. I was just wondering when space in your shop was opening up.” His hand continued scratching between the pet’s ears.

Space? She thought of the answer, anyway, “Well. I have a few empty bookshelves at the moment, but that’s about it.”

“So… would twenty four books be enough to fill up that space?”

Holy shit. Twenty four. Even though the number was small in comparison to her shop… she would hate it if she took that away from someone’s collection. That would be a good chunk at least.

“Dr. Cullen-“

“Call me Carlisle.”

They both seemed to be stunned by that. Like he hadn’t expected himself to say it, either.

He cleared his throat, “I mean, this isn’t my office. If anything, you’re the one in charge here. You can call me Carlisle.”

She swallowed, repeating, “Carlisle. Okay.” She took a breath, standing to meet his eye level more. He still towered above her by a good four inches. His dark, amber eyes stared at her.

Huh.

She could’ve swore they were honey. At least fairer than that…

They might just look different in the lighting.

Elise hung onto that information, though.

She found the will to speak again, “I would just hate to put you out. Twenty four books is a lot.”

“It would hardly make a dent, I promise you.”

“Like I said before, you don’t have to apologize for Edward. What he did was his alone.”

“Would it make a difference if I wanted to?”

She stopped on that word. Wanted. Elise turned it over in her brain, unsure of how to respond.

Carlisle continued, his expression stuck on hers as she listened,“I don’t do things because I feel obligated. I act upon my own accord, not the ones of my family. So while Edward might not be a fan, who cares? It doesn’t mean I don’t want to do this for you.”

His words carried so much weight. She could feel the meaning behind every word he said, but couldn’t pick it up….

Or maybe she was reading into it too much.

She was a bookworm, after all.

A jolt ran through her as her hand finally touched his. It took her a moment to realize he had reached out. His palm fit against hers as he held it. “I understand if the amount is uncomfortable. I can do less— twenty four is not a requirement. I can even just give you one, and be done with it. All I want to do is help you.”

Holy. She had a hard time breathing right about now. Elise opened her mouth to respond—

Emmett came out of the belly of the bookshop, his head poking out first comically.

Carlisle let her hand drop.

She felt the warmth of him linger. Elise covered it up by petting Nyx once more, who leaned into the contact.

“This is a sweet little shop you got,” Emmett asked, “You decorate all this yourself?”

She nodded.

“Good to know. I’ll have to let my lady know about this little spot.” He spoke of Rosalie with such affection. It was clear in the title he gave her- a bit old fashioned, but full of joy.

“You guys are welcome anytime,” she smiled, avoiding the gaze of a very certain man.

“Cool! Are you ready to head out, Car?”

She turned to look at Carlisle once again. The man glanced at his brother, “Yes,” then to her, “We do have some matters to attend to… Could I reach out to you later?”

Reach out? Oh! She nodded, pulling out a scrap piece of paper and pen from under her counter. She scribbled her name down on it, her slanted handwriting somewhat legible. She handed it to him, grinning, “Of course. Anytime.”

Doh. She just had to add that last part, didn’t she?

He didn’t seem the least bit thrown off. His smile increased a bit as he took it, “Thank you, Elise. Have a lovely day.”

“You too, Dr.— Carlisle,” she nodded, straining against the heat in her cheeks. She turned to glance at Emmet as well as they walked out, “You too, Emmett!”

“I’ll give Ed your love!—“

She snorted as Carlisle grabbed him by the collar and all but dragged him out. Weren’t siblings entertaining?

Nyx followed her around the bookshop as she tidied up. The end of the day went on with a routine. Do a visual sweep, stock a thing or two, then right out the door.

With The Cullens’ visit, she didn’t really think of the night before. Nothing of wolves. Nothing of vampires. She needed a normal day like this, after everything—

Her eyes got caught in a little alcove.

The cozy reading area was her favorite. She knew some kids loved to settle in there and read until the shop closed. It was a popular area, after all.

Which made her much more concerned that her bag- the messenger bag from last night- was settled into the pea green armchair there.

Hardy v Carver. A short analysis.

I think that’s one of the things that threw me so much with watching Gracepoint. He’s angry. You can tell he’s angry. (And I mean obviously kudos to DT for doing it so well, but I prefer the UK version.) In Broadchurch, it’s more, “Oh no, not again.” -see the opening scene with him where he is on the beach, inhales deeply to steel himself, then sets to work. He’s exhausted. He’s barely holding up under the weight of hiding Claire, taking the blame for Tess and what happened in Sandbrook, and now another murdered child in what was supposed to be a cush, easy, low stress job in a small town where he could recover from everything that had happened to him. He’s ready to die to bring the killer to justice. (”If that’s what it takes.”) In Gracepoint, he’s doing everything because he’s angry and wants justice. In Broadchurch, he’s doing it because he’s the only one who can. Even if it kills him.

I just noticed that there are no fics of Emmet Carver with an MS character on ao3 and I want to change that.

Mostly on the grounds to give that miserable man some sort of joy (Gracepoint fills me with a terrible rage, Carver deserves better).

I just have no idea who'd work well with him.

Monster Carvers (link) - Main Star Vs AU. Stomco endgame + Tom stays with Marco + Star raised by Monsters (specifically Buff Frog). The titular antagonists were originally going to disappear after the prologue what the heck happened???

Pretty Cure vs the Forces of Evil (link) - Exactly What It Says On the Tin, Pretty Cure x Star Vs.

unnamed Pirate AU - Star Butterfly has a perfectly nice, unbearably boring life as a high-class lady, with little to do other than wait to be married to her arranged fiancé that she’s never even met. A week before her wedding she sneaks on board a shipping vessel in the hopes of having an adventure. She gets a little more adventure than she bargained for when the ship is attacked by pirates.

How to Train Your Dragon:

Outsiders (link) - Main HTTYD AU. Instead of watching the entire Berk fleet sail off to their dooms with Toothless, Hiccup and Astrid free the arena dragons and take Toothless while he’s being brought to the ship and then they all get the heck out of dodge. Dagur accidentally set himself adrift with Heather back when they were both small. Snotlout learns the hard way that being the Heir/responsibility kind of really sucks actually??? Stoick has to deal with his son going rouge. And Gobber and the Berk Teenagers have to deal with Stoick and Snotlout respectively.

Modern Riders/Time Travel AU - Modern!Hiccup is dragged by his cousin into an unwanted camping trip with the other riders and one electrical storm later, they find their cell phones aren’t working any more. Also are those flipping dragons?! On Berk, Stoick and the other vikings are shocked to find a group of teenagers in the woods who bear a shocking resemblance to some of the members of a dead generation of children.

Unsevered Bonds - Modern Riders (minus Hiccup) meet a time displaced Hiccup who recognize them as his reincarnated friends, even if they don’t remember their former lives.

How To Train Your Lusus - Everyone are trolls on Alternia. Hiccup is a brownblood who’s probably the only troll in existence to get a second Lusus (Toothless) after his first one (Stoick) is killed. Astrid is an oliveblood that Hiccup is flushed for, Fishlegs is a yellowblood, Snotlout is a blueblood, the Twins, Dagur, and Heather are all purplebloods. Dagur killed both his and Heather’s lusus so now he’s trying to take care of her even though she absolutely hates him (and not in a black way), and he had an unrequited pitch thing for Hiccup at one point before they flipped pale (and are actually Moirails now). That’s pretty much all I have for this one.

unnamed Harry Potter AU - Does not actually take place at Hogwarts. Everyone attends Dumstrang (possibly) and the topic everyone avoids is Care of Magical Creatures, because the local Dark Lord is Drago Bludvist. Main trio is Hiccup, Snotlout (Pureblood cousins), and Fishlegs (Muggleborn)… somehow.

Dragon Gang (link) - Mob/Mafia AU set in the vaguely 1920s in a Fake Country so no one can call me out on inaccurate geography.

Rebuilding Bridges - Set in a Multiverse where RTTE and The Hidden World are mutuality exclusive. (Pt.1): After dealing with Drago but before dealing with Grimmborn, Hiccup and Toothless once fought a witch intent on ‘harvesting’ dragons. Now ten years after the dragons have left her apprentice seeks revenge and kidnaps Zephyr and Nuffink, and a panicked Hiccup and Astrid are contacted by the Very Retired and Very Much Done With This Kid witch. Meanwhile in the RTTE-verse, The Dragon Riders only just got back from informing Berk about Johann’s treachery, when some crazy lady spontaneously appears in the middle of the Edge with two terrified children she intends to feed to dragons. Yeah, that’s not happening. (Pt.2, spoilers for this AU I guess???): Zephyr and Nuffink and their parents have safely returned to New Berk, but their world has been shaken by what was and could have been. Zephyr and Nuffink, after bonding with Dagur in the other timeline, decide they want to try and help him in theirs. This was perhaps not their best idea. Meanwhile, the Nightlights escape the watchful eye of their parents to go exploring outside the Hidden World, and quickly meet the hatchlings of their dad’s brother! (so… their cousins, then?)

Something Wild (name subject to change) - Several years after Berk (along with most of the Archipelago) is attacked and taken captive by a far more advanced foe, Stoick is able to free most of his people but what he finds when they get manage to regroup back to their island is less than a relief- Berk ravaged and their elderly and children, left behind by their captors, missing. To make matters worse, the dragons are still out there, now with some kind of devils riding and aiding them. Now Stoick, Gobber, and the rest of the people of Berk must find safety and a way to fight back against they’re new foe, find what happened to those who are missing, and figure out who these dragon riders are and whether they’re friend of foe (gee i wonder where the Berkians went and who the dragon riders are golly what a mystery). (aka the feral/semi-feral!dragon riders au i keep trying to create)

Lost (name subject to change) - Alternate attempt at the feral/semi-feral!dragon riders au. Several years before the events of the movie could happen, a raid on Berk not by dragons, but by other people, leads to the destruction of an entire generation when the raiders manage to capture the Teenagers of Berk and ship them away. While in captivity, they meet and ultimately befriend the dragons that in another life would be their partners and together they all escape. Unfortunately, they’re Thor-knows-where, and with no one they can trust (or understand) except each other, getting back to Berk might take a while…

The Lego Movie:

Hero with Two Faces of Yellow - Another ‘Emmet and Rex share a body like Good Cop Bad Cop’ AU

Peacemaker AU - Main Lego AU. About a year after the Duplo aliens attack, Emmet is attacked and presumed dead, but he’s actually been taken by General Mayhem to meet Queen Watevra Wana'bi, who remembered and missed her ‘father’. Later, Rex ends up jumping into an entirely different timeline by accident (this one) and decides to try and play the long game by befriending Emmet, who’s now living in the Systar System. That probably won’t work out for him the way he wanted.

Miraculous Ladybug

MiracuClass Knows AU - Prior to Volpina, each member of the MiracuClass finds out the identities of Ladybug and Chat Noir, and just sort of collectively become their secret keepers. Inspired by Epiphanies by PFTones3582 on Fanfiction.net.

Miraculous Sburb AU - The MiracuClass play Sburb and end up dragging a good chunk of Paris in with them when they enter the Medium. Marinette is a Light player, Adrien is a Doom player, and that’s all I got. Gabriel probably definitely dies.

One Is Silver and the Other Gold - aka the Marikimno Brot3 AU. I headcannon that Marinette, Kim, and Nino were close friends as little kids that drifted apart a few years prior to the start of the show. In this AU, that never happened. Also, Alya becomes Adrien’s best friend instead of Nino, and Nathanel becomes their friend too somehow? (someone help Alya, she’s an extrovert and both her friends have social skill levels in the single digits.)

The Ladybug and the Monkey - Main Miraculous Ladybug AU. My take on the ‘Fu chooses Kim to be the second Miraculous wielder instead of Adrien’ AU that I’ve somehow seen multiple times.

Sleeper Miraculous - AU where instead of the Miraculous being handed out, they’re transported magically to their wielders after they’ve proved themselves somehow. The Miraculous still need to be ‘activated’ by the Guardian to be used on either a permanent or temporary basis, so Ladybug still has to go to Master Fu at first before she becomes the new Guardian, but she knows literally none of the other members of Team Miraculous’s identities. They have a chat group, too, where Ladybug updates team members on whose Miraculous she’s going to activate, and both Chloe and Kagami never blow their identities. Contains both mild Classmates + (even milder)Adrien salt and sugar. (define irony: wanting to punch someone in the face for being an a-hole only to realize that said a-hole is you).

Miraculous! Pretty Cure! - Another Pretty Cure AU. Yep.

Mesapia AU - Butterfly!Marinette AU with a few twists - 1) instead of just facing the villainous user of the Ladybug Miraculous, all of the Miraculous have been lost to villains (save for the rabbit). Marinette frequently empowers her classmates (+Adrien, who’s still under house-arrest in this AU, Luka, and Kagami) to fight the Miraculous Villains, who are also all fighting each other; and 2) This isn’t so much a Kwami Swap as a Kwami Scramble, no one uses their canon Miraculous here (except for Fu briefly, and Emilie had the peacock before what happened to her)!

Boys vs Girls AU (name subject to change) - Marinette vs Lila with the Boys (+Kagami) on Marinette’s side and the Girls on Lila’s.

Labyrinth - Almost the entirety of the MiracuClass go missing (+Lila, Luka, & Kagami, -Chloe) and on a related note, eight very young children wake up in an ever-shifting, monster-filled underground labyrinth and grow up together. And two of them have some special, appearance-shifting jewelry…

Mad Gabriel - Miraculous Ladybug x Mad Father, starring Adrien as Aya, Marinette as Dio, Gabriel as Alfred Drevis, Nathalie as Maria, and everyone else as the doctor’s victims (Lila is Ines).

Miraculous Royal AU - A fantasy AU starring the MiracuClass (shocker) spread out across three fantasy kingdoms.

Quartz Butterfly AU - AU in which Jagged Stone takes the role of (a significantly nicer but still villainous) Hawkmoth as Quartz Butterfly, with Penny taking on Mayura’s role as Songbird. (yes i know peacocks aren’t songbirds SHHHH).

MiracuTrio AU - AU based on fanofanimation’s submission to terrible-miraculous-ladybug-aus, where Kim becomes a permanent member of the team after Party Crasher.

Mitterlicht - horror-ish AU inspired partially by various horror games, Lucidstuck, and Underbright (no, really). After receiving their Miraculous for the first time, the temporary heroes start having less-than-restful nights. Things quickly go from bad to worse when fragmented, panic-inducing dreams turn into nightly (and solitary) trips into a dark world full of monsters that want to take something referred to just as their ‘light’- a bright light that acts as both a beacon to the hostile creatures and the only way to return to consciousness every night -which just so happen to be in the exact spot (and in many cases, are also vaguely the same shape) of their Miraculouses.

Mirakatsu - Aikatsu AU

Ladybug: Don’t Deal With Hawkmoth - (aka the result of listening to the Cuphead Rap Battle 50 million times) Cuphead AU where Ladybug and Chat Noir have to go around beating up akumas and collecting their butterflies to avoid getting akumatized by Hawkmoth.

Miracle Thieves - a phantom/gentleman thief au where Marinette and Adrien (who have been thieves for years) unwittingly steal a pair of magical artifacts and decide to team up afterwards. Includes Fox!Nino, Journalist-determined-to-expose-their-identities!Alya, and possibly Tiger!Markov.

Same Side, Same Session AU - Combines both of the two immediately above AUs, The Beta Kids and Beforus Trolls have a session together that fails and gets Scratched, then the Alternians and Alphas play the game together while the pre-scratch players (all alive) travel to their session and have Meteorstuck Shenanigans.

Relief Was Just a Dream (name subject to change) - aka the mandatory Troll Rebellion AU, inspired by a fic I don’t remember the name of on A03. Sweeps after Karkat and Feferi are (seemingly) culled, Ace Legislacerator Terezi Pyrope -one of the best despite knowing she’s one wrong move away from being culled for her disability- is called in to investigate a series of traitorous attacks on more and more ships. Weirdly, the trolls seen most in the attacks don’t even seem to exist, all seem to bleed a painfully familiar cherry red, and have powers that even Her Imperial Condescension doesn’t seem to have. (not a no-game au)

Freetime AU (name subject to change) - AU where Bro leaves Dave on Dad Egbert’s doorstep, and Dave and John grow up as brothers.

Pokemon Network - Hub lives Pokemon AU with at least two protagonist teams. Team A: Lan, Hub, Mayl, Dex & Yai in Kanto. Team B: Roll, Glyde, Gutsman (Gus) in Kalos. What are Chaud and Protoman/Blues up to? ~Secrets~

Sailor Moon:

Inverse Corruption - When Beryl scours the Earth looking for her reincarnated generals she fails to find them, but she does manage to find the senshi instead. Sailor Moon has to unknowingly face the very girls who were supposed to protect her, fighting side-by-side with the Shitennou instead. (the boys are highschoolers to the girls middleschoolers)

Hazbin Hotel:

Infernal Relations - Why did Lucifer and Lilith wait so long to have a child? Simple; they didn’t. Unbeknownst to Charlie, her parents both had and lost a child thousands of years before she was born, a fact that will have far more of an effect on her hotel than she could possibly realize (even if she had known).

Apprentice Charlie AU - AU where Charlie gets into a fight with Lucifer and leaves before she ever thinks to create her hotel and Alastor ends up finding amusement by taking on an apprentice. (inspired by Helluva Teacher by Sol_Victoria on A03)

Phineas and Ferb:

Cursed Cats AU - AU based on the song Black Cats of Halloween. Phineas, Ferb, and their friends are cursed by a demon who turns them into black cats, save for on Halloween night. They’re then thrown into a world of magic and have to find each other, their way back home, and a way to break their curse, preferably in that order.

Danganronpa:

Online Gamer AU - no one dies/non-despair AU where no one is a super/ultra highschool level anything, no one has met each other in person, and they all play Among Us together. Junko always dies first and she’s low-key going to hurt someone over it.

unnamed AU inspired by ask-the-dr-reset-kids - After an incident that forces Hope’s Peak to temporarily close it’s doors, Class 78 all transfer to a different school. Junko is in jail, Mukuro is coping, Izuru is looming somewhere, the Ultimate Despair are waiting like sleeper agents to cause the The Most Despair Inducing Event in History, and Makoto is straight up not having a good time (and has very good reasons not to tell anyone).

unnamed AU where both Class 77 and Class 78, including both Junko and Mukuro but without Chiaki end up playing the Killing Game together.

Double Mastermind AU - similar to the above, both Class 77 and Class 78 wake up one day with no memories of their school lives. They’ll have to work together, somehow, to find out where they are, how to get back to civilization, and how to get back their memories. Meanwhile in the control room, Makoto and a sort-of-but-not-really-reformed Junko are working together as the Masterminds behind the mystery. Well, Makoto’s working, anyway. Junko just kind of wants to give Makoto daily migraines. Contains Junko/Makoto hateshipping.

Assasain!Makoto AU: The Killing Mystery - au that’s basically the one directly above but takes place in a non-despair (or maybe averted despair would be more accurate) timeline. After receiving and turning down a job to assassinate a certain up-and-coming politician, The Black Mask (Makoto) alerts his would-be victim, an old former friend, that someone is out for his life.

Remnants of Hope AU - AU that takes place after the end of School Mode, with the class not being picked up by the future foundation right away. (does this. does this actually qualify as an au i’m not sure.)

Soulmates AU - In a world where most people are colorblind until meeting their soulmate, Makoto Naegi walks into Hope’s Peak Academy colorblind, blacks out, and wakes up to color. As it turns out, the same thing happened to everyone else!

Scrapbook AU - After entering into Hope’s Peak Academy, Makoto started a scrapbook/photo album of himself, his classmates, and eventually even the class above his own during their time on and off school. It soon became a class diary of sorts after being discovered, shared among everyone… then a chronicle of the events leading up to Class 77 going missing, The Tragedy starting, and Class 78 sealing themselves inside the school bunker, before returning to it’s original purpose as Class 78 lived inside their homemade bunker. In canon, Junko found and burned it. In this timeline, it’s an amnesiac Makoto and his classmates who find it, hidden under the floor in Makoto’s room.

Amnesia AU - A boy wakes up in a school(?) with no memories of where he is, how he got here, or even who he is. As it turns out, there are fourteen other people here… and all of them have the same memory loss he does! (may or may not be an IF Bad End AU)

Polychain AU - Another different Victims and Blackends au, that extends well beyond the original Killing Game. The Tragedy occurs very differently in this one… initially. Also features Junko escaping after the Killing Game, and Hajime and Shuichi being half-brothers and kids of the survivors.

Unnamed AU where Leon and Taka also attended Makoto and Sayaka’s middle school.

Ghost AU - After being killed, the victims and blackened are forced to stick around and watch the Killing Game happen, believing they'll be allowed to move on after they leave. Turns out, they're very much wrong- but at least after it's over their classmates can see them! Too bad they're the only ones.

Teachers Assistant AU - inspired by a fic I don’t remember the name of on fanfiction.net. After Nagito blows up a building and gets suspended, Chisa is forced to take a Teacher’s Assistant or be fired. Somehow, a very reluctant Makoto gets the job, despite being in the class below her own. Cross-class shenanigans ensue.

Unnamed Timetravel AU inspired by a fic I don’t remember the name of on fanfiction.net where Makoto and Alter Ego, the only survivors of the Killing Game, are sent back in time to Makoto’s first day attending Hope’s Peak - Makoto mentally and Alter Ego physically. Not as dark as the premise sounds, at least theoretically.

Crossover

Dagla!Adrien AU - Adrien isn’t the son of Gabriel and Emilie Agreste, but instead his parents are a Modern Dagur and Mala. He still works for Gabriel as a model, but otherwise has had a very different upbringing (most notably the inclusion of a lot of people who have cared about him for his entire life, such as his best friend Zephyr Haddock) and acts more like Chat Noir both with and without the mask. He still befriends his canon friends, becomes Chat Noir, and falls in love with Ladybug. (HTTYD x Miraculous Ladybug)

unnamed Steven Universe x Undertale AU - After returning from the Jungle Moon, Steven and Connie end up stranded in an alternate timeline where they meet what appears to be another half-gem going by the name of False Topaz (Frisk). Things get a little more tricky when it turns out that gems and humans coexist somewhat… on one side of a giant, seemingly uncross-able mountain range live humans, on the other gems, and after a war between the two a few centuries ago, both cultures have a kill on sight policy. To make things more complicated, gems seem to be very different in this timeline. (note: Frisk is not actually a gem, just disguised as one)
