The man on the radio is playing riverdance music, watch out for those flailing legs! Quirky news today tells of a Nigerian anchor who managed to interview 90 people in 55 hours ... plus a 10 foot alligator that stopped flights in Florida temporarily as it made it's way across the runway. The traffic lady came and went each time I was absent from the kitchen.
The shiny metropolis is on today's menu. It's Tuesday in Tuesdayville and there's another to do list to pay attention to.
I remember shopping as a youngster, thinking how much fun it was ... hitting teenage years and couldn't get enough of all the shinies ... then first job, first proper shopping list, buying all the food, throwing it in the boot of the car, debating what to cook once home ... passing the local takeaway ........... and stopping to get chips.
Not a fan of shopping, haven't been for quite some time ... quite happy not to go to town ever again ... the shinies at home are far more eye catching and tempting.
Plus there's charity shops in town ... with books ... lots of books ... and my shelves and floor and table and chairs are full, full, full.
Think I need that alligator to impede my shopping progress ...
Rowan Atkinson is best known for the Mr Bean alter ego. But in this hilarious skit, Rowan's comedic talent takes on the role of Lucifer in which the evil one takes a swipe at anyone who's anyone.

Overdramatic married to the bit and the aesthetic eddie munson would have black candles right? Would exclusively burn black candles whenever he has the chance. And every time he forgets that black candles have repercussions. So when he sneezes and it’s black snot that comes out he convinces himself he’s got ‘the plague’ and every time Wayne just gives him this withering stare and goes back to watching tv because Eddie’s just crawled out of his bedroom, dragging himself along the floor giving it ‘uncle, fair and noble uncle, I fear the consumption had taken me. Look for me tomorrow and you shall find a grave man’
Wayne takes a sip of his coffee and lets Eddie know ‘I’ll make sure the Garfield mug goes to a good home, son’ and suddenly Eddie crawling back to his room, Garfield mug in tow muttering about nobody appreciating his dramatic flair. Steve is sat in silence on the couch with Wayne, watched the whole thing without saying a word and honestly? Would pay to see it again. Maybe plots to buy more black candles so that it will happen again
oscar piastri posting cheeky comments on alpine's instagram page actually made me smile so wide - it really shows that he was just finding his footing last year and he's more comfortable joking around now (his yuki interaction too omg) and he's only gunna get funnier
also in my head him and alpine have reconciled now and all is well :')
I'm so tired of people acting like Ada hasn't always been funny. "she wasn't funny until the dlc" that's literally not true, y'all just don't pay attention to her unless Leon is out of the frame. She is hilarious and always has been
In so many words, Sir Frank proves that he can do part of Humphrey's job.
Fans of the comedic show "Yes Minister" and its spin-off "Yes, Prime Minister," will recall that the British civil service has never seen anyone quite as long-winded as cabinet secretary Sir Humphrey. Which is not to say that on his day, the Head of the Treasury couldn't give Humphrey a run for his money as top contender for title of most long-winded civil servant.
Obi-Wan!!!! Thank you for sending 💙 (For the character ask game)
2. Favorite canon thing about this character?
Just one????? The meanest question ever!!!
I really like his compassion. Not just towards Anakin but think of how he treats Reva and Ventress and even Maul. Even though Obi-Wan is so good and really hasn't faltered in his goodness he is capable of understanding people who have done terrible things and seeing a way forward for them. He's not naive, he's just willing to look deeper.
3. Least favorite canon thing about this character?
He refuses to get naked 😡
But I guess I'd say that even though he knows Anakin so well, he's strangely bad at actually talking to him. Remember how he has that whole speech where he explains that Anakin is loyal to people, not principles and then there they are on Mustafar with Anakin going through his evil meltdown and Obi-Wan goes "my allegiance is to democracy!!!" Obi-Wan, man, we just established that Anakin doesn't give a fuck about democracy. I'm not saying it would have been effective because a) Anakin was already in the middle of falling and b) that's how prequels work but Obi-Wan is shockingly bad at talking to the one guy he knows better than anyone else.
