Had this idea in my head for a minute, finally got it out. I like to think that even if Cyrene and Apollo aren't a couple anymore, they still love each other and occasionally hook up, and sometimes Hyacinthus helps, because he and Cyrene get along great and like to spoil their favorite bisexual disaster.

I'm not saying Apollo has a type, but his type is "dark, preferably curly hair" and "might try to kick my ass". Also "girls who have probably killed a man" and "boys who are so pretty they could be mistaken for girls (who have probably killed a man)". He's a true bicon.

What is the relationship between Chiron and Apollo like? I don't think the Greeks have described it enough!! lol

Apollo and Artemis taught Chiron about games and sports so there's a mentor mentee relationship here.

In Pindar's ode, Apollo and Chiron were hanging out together when Apollo saw Cyrene, fell in love with her and asked Chiron for relationship advice lol. Chiron guided Apollo on what to do next, what will happen next etc I like to think he was sort of a wingman for Apollo x Cyrene :3

Chiron's wife Chariclo is said to be the daughter of Apollo. And Ovid narrates the tale of his daughter who got transformed for revealing the secrets of the fate without the approval of Zeus. While she was getting metamorphosed, Chiron prays Apollo to save her (but in vain, Apollo couldn't do much as it was Zeus himself that wanted to punish her D:). Chiron also fostered Asclepius and Aristaeus, Apollo's sons.

So I'd say they started out as mentor - mentee and eventually became friends. It's funny that, in the family tree Chiron is Apollo's uncle but he is also Apollo's son in law XD

I don't really have many tbh, sorry 😔

I like to think Branchus was one of Apollo's first lovers, not necessarily the first but way before Hyacinthus, Admetus or Cyrene.

He lived a long life and Apollo visted him from time to time as Branchus got older and older. Even tho he died of old age it was a huge blow for Apollo because he was a young god back then and he had to face the reality of how short mortal life is.

Also it's said that Branuchs had descendents (and that he started a clan of prophets) which means he had a wife and I imagine her being totally chill with Apollo, I think they were good friends (or maybe more 👀, look all I'm saying is that Apollo, Branchus and his wife all have 2 hands)

If anyone has more feel free to share, let's give Branchus some love 💕
