hello! i'm the person who sent u this ask almost exactly two years ago (slfcare/663005429422522368/do-you-have-any-advice-on-making-friends-i-have? ). i just wanted to tell you that your advice was incredibly helpful at a super low time in my life, and i'm really grateful. i'm 25 now and i actually have friends !! not a huge amount of best friends but i do have close ones i can talk to now and other lovely people i love hanging out with. it took a long time and a lot of patience and therapy and fear and trying new things, and my life is nowhere near perfect but i no longer feel that crippling loneliness i used to feel, i'm no longer alone at home all the time and i no longer struggle with suicidal thoughts. just wanted to thank you and also give you this little update on my life, in case some of ur followers are struggling with loneliness and making friends, so they can know there's definitely hope for them too if there was for me !! <3
