Faye!!! Congrats on your two years 🎉 I'm so so incredibly happy that we met through good old Mysme I could CRY fr. You are so special to me!!
So I was thinking for a while but didn't want the slots to go, so I'm gonna come outta nowhere and SHOCK HORROR not pick either of my two husbands, Jumin or Zen.
But how about number 30, confiding in them, with Vanderwood. The little tease we got in V's route just made me smitten at the time. He literally is thrust into the RFA drama and I can't help but feel he'd connect with MC. Like lord help us Vandy, wtf is going on.
Tumblr media
Lola! Thank you so much for your message! I'm so grateful to have met you, you mean so much to me and I wish only the best for you <3
I'm pleasantly surprised by your request! It's a good event when I can write more than one fic for Vandy.
Picture this: It's V's route, Seven has saved you from Mint Eye, now you, V Seven and Vandy are in the cabin. Your relationship with V is.... not really existent at this point so this fic could be romantic when you squint hehehe
Love ya <3

Confiding in Them
✦Vanderwood x Gn!Reader ✦ Words: 1553
Tumblr media
Time in the cabin feels like it has slowed down to a crawl. It is dark outside, and eerily silent. Inside, there are only the sounds of footsteps back and forth across the floorboards, and V’s harsh breathing in the next room. The repetitive nature of the noises has only added to the liminal feeling.
You had reassured the others that you weren’t tired, and then promptly fallen asleep on the sofa, still sitting upright with your jacket draped over your shoulders. When your eyes opened again, you weren’t sure how long you’d been asleep for, or where your dreams ended and reality began. Your life lately has been so strange, it has been hard to keep track. You had dreamt of car chases and cult initiations, the faces and voices of your loved ones so close and yet out of reach. How was that any different to what you had experienced over the last week?
Someone had covered you with a spare blanket when you were asleep, as well as lit a fire in the fireplace opposite you. It was warm, and you were still disoriented from sleep, so you stayed put, wrapping the blanket tighter around yourself and watching the fire dance over the logs.
You allow yourself, maybe for the first time, to process the fact that you managed to get away from Mint Eye and everything they had planned for you. In the (relative) silence of the cabin, with everyone else occupied, it starts to sink in. Back there, with a part of you constantly in fight or flight, it was hard to process the reality of your situation. You were just trying to survive. Now that you’re safe, it all hits at once.
The isolated compound, the flowery pink room, the wardrobe full of clothes made to your measurements. Ray, monitoring your conversations with the RFA, his kindness that teetered on the brink of desperation. The minty blue of his eyes, too vibrant to be natural. The silence in the hallways, so unsettling for a building so full of people.
“Oh, you’re awake.”
You jump and turn your head towards the speaker. You were too caught up in your own thoughts to hear him approach you.
“Sorry, didn’t mean to scare you,” Vanderwood says. To his credit, he does actually look apologetic.
His voice is quiet, deep, and still unfamiliar to you. You have grown used to the voices of the different RFA members, have even started to find a certain comfort in hearing them. On the other hand, he is still practically a stranger to you.
You had very briefly met Vanderwood when he first got to the cabin to help Seven, but you had said little to each other since.
“It’s okay. I’m just a bit jumpy, I guess.”
“From what I’ve seen tonight and what Seven told me – which isn’t much, mind you - that’s not surprising.”
Seven has been keeping an eye on Vanderwood since he entered with a vaguely threatening air you haven’t yet seen from him, reminiscent of someone keeping their attack dog on a short leash.
“What did Seven tell you?”
He joins you on the sofa, sighing deeply before answering. He has been at V’s bedside, tending to him in his terrible state, since arriving, and he has good reason to be tired.
“He has kept most of the story from me. I know that that guy back there has been fed more different drugs than I’ve ever seen before and that you’re his…?” He leaves it open-ended and throws you a meaningful look. He’s still trying to fill the holes in his story.
“Don’t look at me, I don’t even know what we are.” Thinking about V too much makes you scared all over again, so you change the subject. “What else do you know?”
“Nothing except that you were there with them. He’s smart enough to keep RFA stuff away from agency stuff most of the time. I guess desperate times call for desperate measures, though.”
“You can say that again.”
You sound wearier than you mean to. The longer you think about everything, the more ridiculous it all sounds. You watch as a log cracks in the fireplace with a satisfying pop and feel Vanderwood turn to assess you for a moment.
“And who are you in all of this?”
“That’s a long story.”
“And I am a very good listener. Literally, it’s part of my job.”
You laugh. He doesn’t.
“Really, I feel like I haven’t talked to a single person since I arrived - Seven doesn’t count. I need a change of scenery.”
It isn’t that his voice softens, but he sounds like he’s choosing his words more intentionally this time he speaks. It makes him sound more sincere. Maybe that’s what encourages you to indulge him. Or maybe, you just need someone to help ground you now that you feel like you’ve detached from reality.
“Well, I was sort of… kidnapped and held hostage in this cult?”
His eyebrows disappearing into his fringe is the only thing that gives away his surprise. He scans you once over, a well-practiced look. He’s looking for any obvious damage.
“I’m fine, you say quickly, “Seven managed to save me before anything really bad could happen.”
He nods. “You can trust him with these things.” He thinks for a moment, before quickly adding, like a sudden thought that came into his mind “were you with the hacker?”
“Yeah.”
“You met him? What was he like?”
The questions tumble out of his mouth faster than he can stop them. Is this what he sounds like when he’s excited? You had heard him discussing the hacker with Seven earlier, asking questions with his eyes wide. Turns out it’s rare for someone to give Seven this much trouble.
“Strange. Kind of sad. I wish there was something I could do for him.”
Vanderwood’s enthusiasm vanishes.
“Then he sounds just like the rest of us.”
In the silence that follows, you both turn your attention back to the fireplace. The flames seem to have a life of their own, and your cheeks feel warm from the heat of it. Somewhere, from another room, you hear Seven’s voice. You wonder who he’s talking to, or if it's just to himself.
“So, if that guy,” Vanderwood gestures back to the bedroom where V is sleeping, “was drugged to oblivion by that cult, how did you get out okay?”
“He has a bit of a personal history with their founder. The whole RFA does, actually, but his is more… delicate, from what I understand. See, I’m the stranger in this equation.”
“Huh. I don’t know why I expected this to be simple. Nothing Seven involves himself in ever is.”
“They used to all be like a family once apparently. I’m still trying to understand it all myself.”
He puts his head on his hands for a second in a show of exhaustion. “Maaaaan…. how are you staying sane through all of this? Just hearing the gist of things is making me tired.”
You’ve been asked this question a few times, but you’ve never given the real answer any thought before. Next to V, who could barely stand upright and was talking to the air last time you were at his bedside, you were always fine. It felt wrong to even imply otherwise.
But now, when you think about where you were a week ago and how much has changed since then, you aren’t so sure. You can’t remember the last time you felt rested and, even though you’ve been reassured that you’re safe here, you’re scared someone is watching you. You can’t even think of walking down the street by yourself before you break out in goosebumps.
"Oh. I guess you hadn’t gotten that far yet, had you?”
“No… I guess not. Is it that obvious?”
He holds out a gloved hand in front of your face and taps your forehead once, lightly.
“You’re easy to read. Or maybe it’s just me.”
With only the flickering firelight on his face, his expression is hard to make out, but you find some comfort in his gesture.
“I feel like none of it is real. At least if you can see it, it means that I’m not making any of this up.”
He nods and you lapse back into a comfortable silence.
“Hey, I know it may not be much coming from me, but I think you’ve got some good people on your side at the moment.”
You’re not sure what possesses you to ask, “Is that including you?”
He seems to be stunned for a moment before he smiles. It transforms him into a brand-new person, and you can imagine what a different life might have looked like on him. Your anxiety gets pushed down by a wave of pride at managing to elicit that expression from him. You have a feeling it’s quite rare.
“Yeah, I guess it does.”
Suddenly, V groans loudly, startling the both of you. Vanderwood jumps back to his feet and quickly follows the sound to the bedroom door. Before he disappears completely, he turns to you and says, “Listen, I need to go back to playing nurse, but can we talk more a bit later?”
You smile.
“I’d like that.”

☆ 10:27 pm ! han jumin
Tumblr media
you sat on the couch with your phone in your hand, aimlessly scrolling through social media. most nights since last week, jumin has been coming home later. your husband has been constantly reminding you that it is okay to go to sleep instead of waiting for him. however you don't miss the surprised love struck expression on his face each time you greet him at the door.
however, this time your body seems to be falling into the couch's trap. the trap of tying your body down to the cushions and not letting you go. slowly, you subconsciously lean your body down, letting it lie flat on the couch. if you didn't know any better, by now you would've been a goner. the soft and plush pillow resting beneath your head plus the blanket draped around your waist aided your body to fall asleep. "no, i have to stay up." you said to yourself though your body did not care for your concerns. "maybe just a small nap?" you laid down your phone onto the coffee table in front of you before pulling the blanket up above your shoulders. and just like that, you fell asleep.
jumin, who snuck inside the penthouse quietly, five minutes prior to you falling asleep, was watching you fight yourself to indulge in the sweet comfiness of the couch. deciding not to move an inch in order to not wake you, jumin gazed at you from where he stood in the living room. it is often that jumin adored elizabeth the 3rd while she was sleeping, however when it came to you… it felt all the more calming. to see you, so beautifully sleep in the same spot elizabeth once did, brought some sort of deja vu to the love struck man. jumin, who from a year ago would only scoff if he heard that he would ever find tranquility in another person. jumin, who unknowingly longed for a lover. jumin, who hated the idea of someone abandoning him just like his father's ex companions. jumin, who closed off anyone from getting too close to him. now became the jumin, who found serenity in your presence. "i love you." jumin whispered.
"i love.. you too.." you slurred in your sleep. not even daring to open your eyes to be met with blinding overhead lights, you reached out your hands for jumin. "my love, you should be in our bed sleeping, not the couch." jumin walked closer to you before taking hold of your hand. "i wanted to wait for you but i fell asleep. im sorry." jumin chuckled as he shook his head, as if you were looking at him. "it's okay, let's get you to bed." before letting yourself get picked up from your spot on the couch, you pulled on jumin's arm, making him fall on top of you. happily, you wrapped your arms around the surprised man, trapping him down with you. "darling, we could've cuddled on the bed."
"didn't want to." jumin sighed as he quickly made arrangements to be able to hold you in his arms. though, jumin from a year ago would never have imagined it, he knows now that tranquillity and love can exist in the same room. wherever you are, he is loved.

Replaying mysmes and notes: (playing jumin route)
1: I don't actually dislike yoosung so much. Hes my best friend as long as I'm not on his route
2: zen is actually super annoying 😢 constantly picking fights, being weird about Mc being a woman, and just going on and on about his looks. I get that it's all explained in his route, but that doesn't mean it's not annoying
3: it's actually so funny that people got so weirded out by his bad end back in the day because. To even GET those endings. You have to literally choose options. That make that version of Mc. Want that outcome. The Mc that gets tied up and kept in the pent house is the Mc that wants to be there. I've never gotten any of those endings on my first run AND I LITERALLY CANT IMAGINE GETTING THAT BY ACCIDENT lmao. Like you have to REPEATEDLY pick options about never wanting to leave and wanting jumin to be WEIRDER. Bad end Mc is not a kidnappee, she's into full time Dom/sub dynamics 😂

Genres: drama, suspense, who-done-it, LGBT+
Available on: Kobo and my website
Synopsis: A young girl, lost in the bliss of her first relationship, will do anything in the pursuit of what she believes is true love—even sneaking out of her house in the dead of night. Unfortunately, she is met by someone she didn’t quite expect. Her fight or flight instincts kick in but she in no match for the killer in the woods.
And her death won’t be the only one.
The once peaceful and quaint neighborhood of Silverfalls Court is thrown into chaos and upheaval when bodies keep showing up in the woods. When it becomes apparent that the murderer must be one of them, suspicions grow thick and trust is shattered.
Some, like Lisa-Marie Castel, want to play detective and solve the case on their own while others, like Dominique Pulmer, want to keep their heads down and wait for things to return to normal. Some might even wish to capitalize on the bizarre nature of the story while those who have been personally affected are left to pick up the broken pieces of their lives amidst the chaos.
Full chapter 9 under the cut:
9. Dirt and Pansies
It was surprisingly bright for a mid-January day and Serena even considered running back to her house to grab a pair of sunglasses. She used her hand as a visor to look up and around at the cul-de-sac. She was already sitting on the ground after checking in with Mrs. Winter and was now just waiting on Jumin and Victoria.
She knew what was taking Victoria but she had no idea why Jumin was so late. Usually he was earlier than she was. It must have been a family issue, she figured.
Things had been tense between all three of their families because of what happened with Peter. Serena had it the hardest, obviously, but there were days where she honestly just wanted to forget about it and pretend like none of it was real.
She only got a pass at school for a couple of weeks but now everyone looked at her the same and expected just as much out of her as they had before. No one at school even talked about Peter anymore but the second she was back home, it was as if his ghost was physically haunting everyone.
The Jungs couldn’t look at her or her family and the Burns just started to avoid them. Serena’s mother spent almost all of her time inside, in her room, only coming out when she had to buy food or to work. The atmosphere inside of that house was suffocating.
It was one of the reasons why Serena preferred school. While they might have gotten over Peter too quickly, they at least acknowledged that life still continued. The sun still rose and set every day. She couldn’t spend the rest of her life wallowing in pain over it.
Even if she felt like she could some days.
All of the emotions that came with Peter’s passing were more complicated and much more inconsistent than any of the movies or TV shows about death would suggest. There were no stages of grief. Serena felt like she was experiencing all of them (sometimes multiple at once) in random orders. Then, sometimes, she would feel nothing—emptiness.
Victoria and Jumin didn’t understand it and she hoped they wouldn’t ever have to. She certainly couldn’t explain it. Other than to say she was constantly at war with her own brain, she had no other comparison.
From around the corner, Serena spotted Jumin holding two containers under each arm. He kept a speedy pace until he was by her side. He dropped the goods on the ground before joining them in a less than graceful manner. “Hey, sorry I’m late. I legitimately thought we were doing this at noon—not eleven.”
“It’s no big deal.” She shrugged and started to flip through his things. He’d brought the trowels, gloves, some clippers, and kneeling pads. Along with her watering can and bag of dirt and fertilizer, they were just missing the flowers themselves.
Jumin looked around and then to the front door of Mrs. Winter’s house. “You did ask her permission, right?”
“Duh.” Serena half-rolled her eyes.
They were tasked with volunteer work for a community program that was partnering with the school. Some kids were doing highway cleanups or hosting something like a bake sale. Thankfully, they were allowed to pick their partners for the project.
It wasn’t a huge contribution or anything—planting flowers around an old lady’s house—but with everything that had been happening in the neighborhood, the three of them felt it should count. After all, could anyone truly argue that brightening an old woman’s life wasn’t somehow enriching the community?
That would just sound cruel and rude.
So, despite the sideways looks that the teachers gave them, they were given permission for their project. They were just warned that they needed to plant a lot of flowers and they needed to get the resident’s permission.
“I still don’t know how she lives here by herself,” Jumin commented and continued to stare at the door. “She was born before the twenties, I think.”
“Shit.” Serena’s brow rose. She actually had no idea how old Mrs. Winter was. She just looked ancient but, for all she knew, she could have been sixty.
“Yep. She’s seen all the wars.”
She laughed and nodded. “I bet she can take Karowitz to school when he starts going on about all the wars he’s been in.”
“God, I hope he doesn’t come out here.” Jumin grumbled. The man hated him and his family just because of their nationality. He understood that he was in the Korean War and everything but it was also over fifty years ago. It was time to move on—though he wouldn’t dare say it to his face.
“Does he think you’re Vietnamese or something?” Serena cocked her head to the side. She knew the man had been in the Vietnam War so maybe he was confused.
“No? I mean…maybe that too. I thought he was in the Korean War though.”
They stared at each other for a long moment, both unsure of their information. Serena wound up laughing first. “Maybe it’s both?”
Jumin’s eyes narrowed. “…Do you think he was in World War 2? Maybe he thinks we’re Japanese…”
Serena cracked up. “I don’t think he’s that old? But it is kind of funny that you guys are totally screwed no matter which war he fought in.”
“It’s bullshit is what it is,” he responded despite laughing as well. “At least we’re not the only ones he hates. Pretty sure he’s got it out for Miss Diana as well since she’s Middle Eastern.”
For a moment Serena stared at him before saying, “She’s not Middle Eastern. She’s Indian.”
“What?” Jumin shook his head. “Her last name is Hajeed. That’s totally a Muslim name.”
“…Muslim isn’t a nationality.”
He huffed. “You know what I mean.”
Serena let a few more chuckles out while she waved her hands around. She had an idea of what he was getting at but whether it was true or not was another story. She certainly didn’t know if it had anything to do with Miss Diana at all.
Though she suspected Karowitz probably had a similar train of thought as Jumin on the matter. Only with more maliciousness attached.
Their joking was cut short by the Burns’ truck pulling into the cul-de-sac. It stopped a few feet away on the curb, close by Mr. Carson’s lawn.
Victoria hopped out of the truck and hurried to the back. “You guys wanna help me take these flowers out?” she shouted.
Serena and Jumin glanced at each other before they both stood up, brushing off their pants on the way over.
The truck bed was filled with different colored flowers but they all looked like the same type of flower to Serena. Pansies, she believed.
She looked to Victoria. “They didn’t have a bigger…selection?”
“It’s the middle of winter,” she responded and grabbed a couple of planter trays. “Not a lot grows when it’s this cold out.”
“What are these?” Jumin asked as he shook a packet of seeds.
“The lady at the nursery told me they’re primroses. They’ll bloom soon but she said it was okay to plant them in January so I figured it might be nice to have some variety even with just seeds.” Victoria frowned as she went straight to work.
“I’m sure it’ll be fine,” Serena offered to try and cheer her up. She and Jumin cleared out the rest of the truck and returned to their spot on Mrs. Winter’s yard.
Victoria set down where she intended to plant everything and slipped on some gloves. Her eyes drifted back to the truck as a slight scowl remained on her lips. “I hope Carson doesn’t mind the truck…”
“Who cares what he thinks,” Jumin countered, “It’s not blocking the driveway or anything.”
“What’s your problem with him?” Serena asked, noticing the slightly hostile tone in his voice.
“It’s not a problem exactly, he just creeps me out,” he said and when he received blank and slightly perturbed looks from them, he carried on, “You two don’t know? He’s a hooker. Like…for real. You ever wonder how he can afford his house and car?”
“He’s not a prostitute.” Serena rolled her eyes. She started to dig into the soil around Mrs. Winter’s house to distract herself from where she feared this conversation was going.
“I’m not just saying it because he’s gay either,” Jumin quickly added before Victoria could smack him. He noticed the look on her face and raised his hands up in a surrender. “My dad said he saw him on the side of the road and then get into some guy’s car.”
“So he was being picked up for a date,” Victoria stated as if it was an indisputable fact. “Your dad should mind his own business.”
Jumin paused but then loosely shrugged. His dad could be a bit nosy so maybe she had a point. He slipped on his gloves as well and started to open the bags of dirt. There was no telling what the girls needed help with so he was putting himself on standby duty.
“Moving on from this…” Serena mumbled but still got both of their attention, “I talked to Mrs. Winter before Jumin got here. Not only did she say she was cool with us planting these but she also mentioned something interesting…”
Victoria handed her a pansy and gave her a curious look. “What?”
“Well she started asking me about what I knew regarding the last murder—after offering her condolences for Peter—and I told her that I knew Lamar was suspected but that no one seems to know anything. But she said she saw someone at the Vicks’ place the day before Susan was found dead.”
“Wasn’t that Thanksgiving?” Jumin asked with a scrunched brow.
“It was.”
“So, couldn’t it have been a family member visiting?” he suggested.
“Susan’s parents visited, yeah, but Mrs. Winter said she saw what looked like one man. Alone. Outside their house. And he wasn’t going to the front door or anything. In her words, he seemed to be looking in the windows as if to observe them.” Serena licked her lips and watched her friends’ reactions.
“If that were true then Lamar might be off the hook,” Victoria said and glanced over her shoulder at the Vicks’ house. No one had seen Mr. Vick since the day Susan’s dead body was found and most everyone believed he’d hitched a ride out of town. That, of course, made him look more suspicious. But if there was another factor, the police would have to reconsider what they knew.
“Oh man, I bet Lisa-Marie would cream her panties over this news,” Jumin responded with a crooked smile.
Serena promptly hurled a dirt clot at him. “Jumin, that’s disgusting!”
Victoria, however, chuckled. “He’s not wrong though. She’d be all over this.”
“…Should we tell her?” Serena asked after a moment of silence passed between them. “I mean…obviously I want the right killer to be caught for my brother’s sake. I just don’t know what to believe and I…” She sighed. “Hoping feels worse somehow.”
Jumin nodded even if he didn’t fully understand. “Her dad is the police chief. And I think she knows that officer that’s been around the neighborhood so maybe we can get something done. Otherwise, we’ll have to figure it out ourselves.”
“It’ll probably come down to that.” Victoria’s hands curled into fists around the loose dirt. Her eyes hardened as she thought of how little trust she had in the adults around them to get anything done properly. It seemed they were much more interested in the murders as some sort of spectacle.
None of them even brought up Leigh anymore.
“Mom won’t like it but we can go over what we know in secret,” Serena agreed. She recalled the last time they gathered to discuss possible murderers. It was the night before Peter died so there were definitely some bitter feelings attached to the idea.
But if no one else would do anything, what choice did they have?
“Our parents don’t need to know,” Jumin stated, “This’ll be for everyone that’s died. Not just Leigh and Peter but Susan too.”
At the drop of Leigh’s name, both Jumin and Serena looked to Victoria. Serena reached out to touch her friend’s arm but thought better of it when she saw the amount of dirt caked on her glove. “I know it’s still hard for you, Vicky…”
Victoria shook her head. “It’s way worse with you. Peter was your brother. Leigh was my…” She gulped and shook her head harder. “My friend.”
Jumin bowed his head but he couldn’t resist bringing up the one strange facet of her death that still bugged him. “I still don’t understand what she was doing so close to our neighborhood. I don’t totally buy the police’s explanation that she was dropped off there.”
“With the other kills now, yeah, I agree.” Serena frowned.
“I don’t know,” Victoria answered. “I don’t know why any of this has happened.”
She could hear Jumin and Serena continuing to throw ideas back and forth but their voices faded out and became so distorted that Victoria couldn’t separate one word from the other. Her vision would go next but she knew when she woke up from her current state, her friends would still be there with her.
These blackouts just happened sometimes. Usually, they were because of stress and she’d never done anything much during them. At most, she’d walked to and from her classes at school without having any memory of doing so.
“Victoria?” She heard her name as if it was being shouted at her from underwater.
She sat up straighter and noticed that she was in a different spot on the grass. She’d planted more flowers and had a few discarded seed packets scattered around her.
“You okay?” Jumin asked.
Victoria blinked a few times but then nodded.
“I thought she was being awfully quiet,” Serena mentioned with a smile. She then met Victoria’s eyes. “Everything good now?”
“…Yeah. I think so… Sorry.”
“It’s fine,” Jumin reassured her.
Victoria did her best to smile but it was always a somewhat frightening experience to come out of her episodes. She felt half possessed and half dead. But, she supposed, if she had to go out of it, it was best that it happened around her friends—people she trusted.

SC: I need you [Jumin Han]
Warnings: None.
Word count: 3,286.
A/N: This is my first time posting a scenario/one-shot, I hope you like it! :)
It’s been two weeks since the last time Jumin was home early. It was a difficult time in C&R, the Chairman had a new girlfriend; this time was a young and beautiful model he met while promoting one of the new products the company was launching. And as expected, the rumors didn’t wait long to come out, but this time they were much worse.
Apparently, a few days ago a paparazzi spotted the model at a maternity clinic getting a pregnancy blood test. The news blew up instantly; the Chairman of C&R International was dating a woman much younger than him, and she was pregnant. Great.
As always, Jumin and Jaehee were the ones dealing with the damage made by the media, and the stock prices falling like crazy, even after the Chairman clarified that his girlfriend was not pregnant.
Since Korea is a very conservative country, rumors like that did no good to the company and they were having a lot of trouble keeping everything in control.
Those two weeks, Jumin kept getting home late and talking coldly to you. He seemed tired all the time and was in a bad mood constantly. Sometimes he even acted a bit harsh towards you, but you always tried to understand him since you knew his job wasn’t easy.
Instead of getting offended from his behavior, you tried to greet him with dinner ready, or tried to help him relax with a bubble bath. But he constantly rejected and ignored you, and that was starting to get in your nerves.
Until one day, he again got home late and you were waiting with dinner, hoping just this one time he would eat and spend some time with you. You already knew his answer, but this time you were going to insist knowing he hadn’t been eating properly and you were worried about him.
Sitting patiently at the dining room, you heard the door open and the heavy steps from your husband walking directly towards your shared bedroom. You quickly got up and ran to him, pulling his hand the moment you saw him so he couldn’t avoid you.
“Oh, no, tonight you won’t be ignoring me!” You happily dragged him to the dining room where his favorite food (prepared by you) was displayed across the table.
“Y/N, I’m not in the mood. I have so many things to do tomorrow, I’ll go to bed now.”
His words weren’t that rude, but the tone of his voice, the coldness in his eyes and the way he pulled his hand from yours, made you reach your limit.
“Jumin! You can’t keep doing this. You’ve been ignoring me all this time; you don’t even say hello to me or something. The only thing you do when you come home is take a shower, sleep and head back to the office.” You said while walking behind him to the bedroom, as he started undressing and changing into his striped pajamas. “If it wasn’t for Jaehee I wouldn’t even know if you eat properly, which you don’t! This needs to stop now!”
“I don’t need you to take care of me, I know how do it, ok? And I ignore you because I’m too tired to bear with you.” His voice denoted no emotion whatsoever saying this, making you feel confused by his words.
“Excuse me…? Bear with me…?” You asked offended.
“Yes, Y/N, bear with you. Sometimes you’re so talkative and energetic it’s annoying. When I come home tired like today, I just want to rest, and you just don’t leave me alone!” He let out those words easily, showing exasperation but continued to organize his clothes for the next day.
“Well, sorry for trying to cheer you up! If I don’t leave you alone is because I’m worried and I want to take care of you!”
“I got news for you, Y/N! I don’t need you to take care of me! In fact, I don’t need you at all. I was doing well without you before getting married and I’d do much better without you right now. So, please, WOULD YOU LEAVE ME ALONE?” He turned around and looked at you in the coldest way possible, with a harsh tone and shooting daggers through his eyes.
You didn’t hesitate a second and replied:
“Yeah, don’t worry, Jumin, I will comply your wish gladly!”
You stepped back and hurriedly came out of the room. He slammed the door behind you, but you payed no attention. You looked for your phone and your bag thinking:
I don’t want to stay here tonight. I must go somewhere.
Then you heard your husband enter the bathroom to take a shower, and as soon as you heard the water running you rushed to the room and packed up some clothes as fast as you could, and took the money you saved a long time ago for an emergency, since you wouldn’t be able to use any of the credit card’s Jumin gave you.
When you were done packing your stuff, you took a piece of paper and a pen and wrote:
I’ll be spending the night at Jaehee’s place. I’ll call you tomorrow.
You left the note over his pillow, exactly where he would see it when he comes out of the bathroom.
Now with some of your clothes and indispensable things packed up, you were about to head out silently, but you almost tripped with a small white furball. You looked down and encountered Elizabeth rubbing her head in your legs.
You leaned forward and whispered:
“Don’t worry, Elly, I won’t be gone forever. I’ll come back later.”
You weren’t sure if you would comeback to make up with Jumin or to break things up, but you’d definitely have to come back at some point.
You were caught in your thoughts when the sound of the water streaming stopped. You froze in your place waiting for Jumin to come out of the bathroom, but that never happened, instead the water started running again, making you sigh in relief.
That was your signal to hurry up and go out without him noticing while you could.
The bodyguards were gone at this hour, so sneaking out without anyone noticing was pretty easy. You walked outside the house, the one Jumin bought after the wedding so you two could live like a married couple properly and one day have a family.
You had your phone in hand ready to call Jaehee, but after thinking about it thoroughly you decided to stay somewhere else and not involve her. Since your husband was her boss, she could get in trouble and that was something you wanted to avoid.
Instead, you searched for a good hotel far away enough from the house, so you could have your time alone with no problem. You found one, though it was a bit expensive but anything was better than being kidnapped at a cheap and unknown place.
You took a 30 minutes ride in a cab to get there and texted the location to Seven in case anything happened. You didn’t want to worry the rest of the RFA with your marital problems.
He texted back:
707: ‘Lololol. R U havin an adventure with Jumin? O.O’
You: ‘We had a fight and I’m staying outside for tnght. I sent u the location just in case, but plz don’t tell him where I am. I rlly want to be alone.’
707: ‘O.K! But promise me you’ll call right away if smthn happens >:(‘
You: ‘Yes! Promise!’
You smiled at your phone, and then walked in to register in the hotel for an indefinite amount of time.
The next day Jumin woke up alone in his luxurious bed.
For a moment he forgot you didn’t spend the night there, but thinking you were at safe hands with Assistant Kang he got ready and headed to his office as early as always, except this time you weren’t there to say goodbye, even if he ignored you.
When he arrived at C&R, Assistant Kang was waiting outside his office to hand him some papers that needed to be reviewed by him before sending them to the clients.
“Assistant Kang.” He called. “Thank you for accepting my wife in the middle of the night. I’ll make sure to compensate you for taking care of her.”
She just stared at him confusedly, not sure what to respond. Jumin noticed her stare and raised his brows in interrogation.
“Sir… I have no idea what you’re talking about. I haven’t seen your wife since we went out last weekend…” Jaehee said carefully, inspecting her boss reaction while finishing the sentence.
Jumin stood petrified, realizing the situation. Quickly, he took out the phone from his pocket and called you. Your phone was ringing but you weren’t answering.
“Mr. Han could you please explain what happened?” She asked calmly.
“We argued last night, and Y/N told me she’d spend the night with you.”
Jaehee thought for a moment, and said:
“Let me try calling her instead.”
She copied her boss and took out her phone, dialing your number. After three rings, you picked up.
“Hi, Jaehee!” You greeted.
“Y/N, are you alright? Where are you?”
“Oh, sorry I didn’t tell you anything, I didn’t want to get you in trouble. I suppose Jumin explained everything, but you don’t have to worry, I’m staying at a safe place and Seven already knows the address in case something happens. I can’t tell you where I am, though, I want to be alone for some time.”
“But, Y/N, you shouldn’t go out like…!”
“I have to go unpack my things, Jaehee! I’ll call you later! Bye!” You interrupted her and hung up.
She was a bit shocked but then looked back to Jumin beside her. He was frowning and seemed to be angry. He heard everything; it wasn’t necessary for Jaehee to explain.
He was mad at you for taking such a risk going out alone in the middle of the night; he was mad at Luciel for not telling him the instant he received a call from you, but most importantly he was mad at himself.
He was the cause of you going out like that, he knew he hurt you with his words and regretted it after calming down in the shower. But he thought you were going to forgive him after that, since you were always so patient. Jumin thought you knew he didn’t mean those harsh things.
But how would you know? When he said it with a cold and serious face.
How would she know I love her with all my heart, if I treated her like that and never apologized?
“Mr. Han?” Jaehee called his name, interrupting his inner lamentation.
He ignored her and once again unlocked his phone, this time calling Seven to ask him your location.
“Nuh uh, she wants to be alone, Jumiiiin. Let her be!” Answered Seven instantly, already expecting Jumin’s request.
“Luciel, this is an order. She is MY wife.”
“Well, if she was mad enough to run away like that from you, you probably did something bad.” Touché, Jumin thought. “You should use this time apart from her to thing about your actions. Remember God’s always watching, and he doesn’t like spoiled kids!”
“And before you start nagging me! I’m watching over her through that place’s CCTV, she’s very safe there! Now I must go finish work. Bye bye, Jumin!”
The call ended and Jumin was still holding his phone against his ear, processing everything that was going on.
“Mr. Han, I know this is something important, but you have a meeting with the board of directors. Do you want me to reschedule it?” Assistant Kang caught his boss’ attention again.
After a few seconds of thinking, he decided to continue his day as if nothing happened. He was sure at some point you would have to come back and talk to him.
And after all, what he said last night was true, he would be alright without you… Right?
A couple days went by and he still had not heard from you.
You logged in the chatroom only when you knew he was not there, to talk with the other members as you usually did. Seven assured the others you were at a safe place so no one was really worried anymore, except for the fact that you were obviously avoiding your husband, but that was more of a private matter between the two of you, so they didn’t say anything.
At first Jumin thought you’d be staying outside for a day or two until you both calmed down, but he was wrong. A week has passed, and he was still alone in his enormous house.
He convinced himself the first couple days that he would be fine without you, since the last two weeks you didn’t talk much anyway. But, once again, he was totally wrong.
He was missing you like crazy, the time alone helped him realize that even if he ignored you the past days, he still was comforted by knowing his lovely wife was waiting at home.
He missed your voice saying those sweet Good mornings after waking up; he missed seeing your face when coming home, with a bright smile always cheering for him even if he acted coldly; and he missed your presence by his side on the bed at night.
Jumin was getting more and more worried as days passed by. He constantly asked Assistant Kang how you were doing, since you wouldn’t pick up his calls, but that was not enough for him. He wanted to see you with his own eyes and embrace you to make sure you were truly fine.
On the other side, you were using your time alone to relax, sleep, go shopping and do all the things you were missing the last two weeks because you were sick worried about your husband. You obviously missed him as much as he missed you, but you wanted to feel good and make sure what you were going to do before meeting him again.
You were planning to stay two more days at the hotel before coming back home, so you decided to stay at your room for the night and watch some movies and eat junk food since Jumin always made sure you never ate those unhealthy things at home.
While you relaxed at the hotel, Jumin, on the other side, was a nerve wreck. He wanted to see your face desperately, even if it was just a few minutes. But he wasn’t sure if you were still mad at him. And you had all the right to be, he felt so bad every time he remembered what he said.
Oh, how wrong was he, thinking he didn’t need anyone in his life to be okay. He recalled all his depressing days, before your appearance on the messenger.
When you accepted all his inner demons and flaws, he wanted you to stay beside him for the rest of your lives. But apparently, he took you for granted and forgot all the “threads” tangled in his heart.
And now here he was, sitting alone at your side of the bed on the verge of tears, imagining you coming out of the shower with the biggest smile ever and kissing him, as if the night he told you those horrible things never occurred.
He wanted you back, and he knew he had to do something for that to happen.
So he called Luciel to ask for your location, saying he needed to talk with you personally. At first Luciel refused, saying he had promised not to tell anyone, but after a long time of Jumin insisting over and over, he finally accepted:
“Ahhh, ok, ok! I’ll tell you! Only because you’re getting on my nerves, and I need to work right now if I don’t want my boss to kill me!”
Luciel hung up, and in that instant Jumin received a text with the exact location in real time of your phone, he quickly got up and went out. Calling Driver Kim would take too long, so instead, for the first time in his life, Jumin Han… Took a taxi.
He wasn’t sure how the whole thing worked but didn’t want to wait until Driver Kim arrived at his house, since it was almost midnight. Jumin just showed his phone to the driver and told him to get there as fast as possible.
Thankfully Luciel also sent him the number of your room, so after arriving Jumin slipped through the halls and entered the elevator to get to your room.
At that moment, you were watching some depressing movie about a dog waiting every day at the train station for its late owner. So you were holding back your tears, imagining how would you feel if something happened to Jumin and you never got to see him again.
It was a very emotional moment in the movie when you heard some knocks at your door.
Confused, you took a napkin and cleaned the tears still falling from your eyes. You got up and opened the door thinking it was maybe the cleaning lady or some other employee.
You were even more confused when you found the pale face of your husband in front of you, with bags under his eyes revealing his sleepless nights and a sad look on his face.
“J-Jumin… What…?” You started asking, being interrupted by him.
“Y/N, I’m so sorry. I—” He stopped talking for a second, then took a deep breath and continued. “I was wrong. Almost all my life has been an emotionless mess until I met you, the only one who showed me what real love is, and the only one who I cared enough to keep in my life.
I wasn’t okay without you before, and I’m not okay without you now. I miss you, Y/N… I need you…”
Jumin doubted for a moment, before taking a step forward and embracing you with all his might. With his face buried in your neck, you heard low sobs.
“Please forgive me…”
You were petrified into his arms, little drops of tears falling down your face, not knowing if they were because of the move or the sadness you had buried in your heart while being apart from the love of your life.
You slowly hugged him back, letting all the hidden emotions finally come out.
“I missed you too, honey” You said crying, squeezing him with your arms.
Jumin raised up his head lightly and said:
“I promise nothing like that will ever happen again.”
He looked at you with eyes full of love, and then leaned to press his lips softly against yours, waiting for some kind of response from you, to know if you would accept him or not, which you did.
You kissed deeply showing all the emotions you both held back during the past couple days; passion, love, sadness, and the will to never be apart ever again.
Jumin was still holding you tightly, fearing you would step back at any second to yell at him. He was afraid of not deserving your love, your forgiveness, but he was desperate to hold you into his arms without caring for anything else at least for a few minutes.
You were the best thing that ever happened to him; you were his sun, the brightness in his life. You were more precious to him than anyone or anything else and he didn’t want to lose you.
In that moment, while kissing you lovingly, Jumin promised himself to not forget this feeling ever again.

The RFA + Saeran and whether on not they have/had acne
Zen
Got a pimple once and nearly fainted
Other than that, he has naturally clear skin
He'll claim that it's his good skincare routine, but it may also just be good genes
Yoosung
He gets regular breakouts, especially when he becomes stressed about school
He's tried a bunch of different over the counter acne treatments, but the only thing that really helps is to be less stressed
Zen has given him a ton of various skincare products that Yoosung has put away and immediately forgotten about
Jaehee
Will get a few pimples every month for, uhh, hormonal reasons
She usually just covers them up with makeup and goes about her business
She hates it when people point it out and tell her it's because she doesn't wash her face enough
Jumin
Had a breakout once before being immediately taken to a dermatologist
Throughout high school, he occasionally had to take antibiotics to fight off breakouts, but he doesn't need to anymore
He doesn't care much about it tbh
Saeyoung
Had HORRIBLE cystic acne as a teenager
This is one of the reasons, besides missions, that he is so good at makeup
He still gets breakouts when he becomes severely depressed
Saeran
Like Saeyoung, he had awful cystic acne as a teenager
He would pick at it constantly because he couldn't stand the uneven skin, and now he has a lot of scarring
He thinks his scars are just one more thing that makes him ugly

I recently picked Mystic Messenger back up, and combined with my P5R brainrot, it gave me a crack crossover idea that just won’t leave me alone:
AU where Rika and V are Takuto’s parents.
Okay, hear me out for a second.
(Bear in mind that it’s been a year since I last played Mystic Messenger and I haven’t seen all the endings yet -- I haven’t played Rika’s Before Story or V’s After -- so this might not make any sense in canon and the characterization might be all over the place. Then again, it’s a crack AU, so…)
Major spoilers for both Mystic Messenger and Persona 5 Royal under the read more!
The beginning is fairly obvious. Rika and V are an inseparable couple, they get engaged, she gets pregnant. But then The Mint Eye thing happens.
Rika considers getting rid of the baby just because it’s V’s, but deep down she still has feelings for him. Plus, having a baby in the cult is like getting a new believer but without all the purifying process, right? So she keeps the child.
Rika treats Takuto similarly to how she treats MC: she’s strangely kind to him, she mostly keeps him away from the other believers, and she doesn’t force him to take the elixir or anything. She already sees Takuto as being purified, because he’s just a toddler, so no need for all those painful rituals; she just needs to raise him the way she wants. Of course, since he’s the savior’s son, all of the believers think he’s like Baby Jesus, so no one bothers him.
You know what happens then. Canon happens. I’m not sure what route and what ending would fit this, but it needs to be a route where they go to Mint Eye and save Saeran. Maybe V’s Normal Ending? I don’t know, I can’t remember if Saeran survives in that ending. Well, let’s assume he does because I need that for my sanity.
And if he doesn’t, then I don’t care tHIS IS A FIX-IT AU.
please let me have this.
So, anyways, they infiltrate Mint Eye, they save Saeran, and they find Takuto. Given that V has been infiltrating the Mint Eye for a while, he already knows about him, and by now he has figured out that that must be his child. Either way, they get him away from the cult before any “cleansing” can take place, and V and MC commit to taking care of him.
Takuto starts off as a very anxious kid, which is normal considering that a bunch of strangers suddenly took him away from his mother and everything he has ever known. He mainly sticks with Saeran (which isn’t good for either of them), but, over time, MC gets him to open up to her and V and, eventually, to the rest of the RFA. Of course, Rika already drilled her ideas of “true paradise” and “eternal happiness” into him, so V and MC take it upon themselves to decondition him and reeducate him. Their efforts pay off, as Takuto eventually manages to adjust to normal society fairly well, but you know that those cultish ideas will still linger in the back of his mind, even if he doesn’t realize it.
Though his memories of Mint Eye completely fade away with age, Takuto inherits V’s gentleness and self-sacrificial tendencies and Rika’s madness and obsession with eradicating pain. When he’s mature enough, he also learns about what happened around that time (but maybe he doesn’t have all the details), because V and MC are determined to not keep any more harmful secrets like they used to.
Anyways, growing up with the RFA fuels Takuto’s natural passion for helping people. Yoosung introduces him to cooking, Jaehee teaches him her work ethic, Saeyoung transfers him his love of cats and animals in general (which is why, in Takuto’s words, “they don’t seem to share the sentiment”), and Zen constantly reminds him to never give up his dreams, no matter how crazy they might seem. He tells him about how he ran away from home to pursue his dream career and has never regretted it since, which Takuto takes very seriously.
As for Jumin, Takuto thinks that he’s too cold-hearted, but he looks up to him for his managerial talent and admires the bond that he shares with his father. When V and MC are away from home, Jumin offers to babysit Takuto for them, so he gets many exclusive tours of C&R, where he starts dreaming of growing up to work on a project much larger than himself with experts in the field (read: leading a team of researchers and having his very own lab).
Takuto also sees that Saeyoung and Saeran are getting along well and slowly overcoming their trauma together, so he comes to believe that everyone can change for the better, and thus, that everyone deserves a second chance, regardless of the mistakes they’ve made in the past. This will come into play at least two times: First, in his reality, when he lets Akechi and most of the Palace Owners roam free; and, second, when he decides to turn his own life around after the change of heart.
Anyways, Takuto meets Rumi, begins dating her, graduates high school, goes to college, and gets engaged after a few years.
V has always felt uneasy about Takuto dating. He knows that Takuto is too nice for his own good, so a part of him is afraid that he’ll end up in an obsessive relationship like the one he had with Rika. But, when Takuto introduces Rumi to his family, he and MC can tell that she’s supportive, well-adjusted, and considerate of Takuto’s feelings, so they are happy for both of them.
And then the burglary thing happens.
Takuto closes himself off from friends and family, overcome with grief and guilt. He still keeps in contact with the RFA, but it’s only because he knows that they will only get more worried if he stops talking to them altogether. Everyone at RFA is concerned, but V especially so, because he understands the pain of losing your fiancée and blaming yourself for not being able to do something to help her, and he doesn’t want Takuto to deal with it on his own.
After Takuto rewrites Rumi’s memories, he tells the RFA the same thing he tells everyone: he and Rumi broke up and it was his fault. This isn’t the RFA’s first rodeo, so most of them can tell that he’s hiding something, but they’ve known him for a long time, they know he’s a good person, and they basically raised him, so they decide to trust him (for the most part).
Takuto isolates himself more and more, acting like he’s fine to avoid being a burden, convinced that he must solve his problems by himself, like his father does. V and MC can see where this is going, and the former keeps spamming the messenger, practically begging Takuto to give him a call and talk to him, or at least get some therapy. But Takuto insists that he’s okay, that he doesn’t want them to worry about him, and that he just hasn’t contacted them much because he’s busy with work.
V starts blaming himself for being unable to reach out to his son, but, when he realizes that Takuto got his self-blaming habit from him, and only blames himself further.
As for the other RFA members, Jumin thinks that Takuto needs time to grieve and that, if he doesn’t want to accept their help, there’s nothing they can do about it. Jaehee is disheartened but she reluctantly agrees, hoping that Takuto will go back to normal soon. Zen thinks that they should be doing more for him, and that, if they put enough effort into it, he will come around.
Yoosung might revert back to his old ways and question V on why he isn’t doing enough to help his own son. Seeing as Takuto is his cousin and everything he has left of Rika, I’m sure he's very protective of him...
Once they all get worried enough, Saeyoung tracks down Takuto with his hacking skills, but he doesn’t find anything suspicious, so they decide to respect his privacy. After all, V doesn’t want to get too obsessive and repeat the mistakes he made with Rika, so he decides to listen to Jumin’s advice and give Takuto some space, hoping he’s making the right choice.
Meanwhile, Takuto figures out that Shido is behind the conspiracy that took away his research, which only strengthens his resolve to keep everything a secret from the RFA. Shido is too similar to the Choi twins’ father, and Takuto is afraid that, if Saeyoung hears about this, he won’t let it go, which could bring back some awful memories from his childhood and the Mint Eye thing… Especially considering that Akechi is in a similar position to Saeran, except that, you know, at least his mother wasn’t deliberately cruel to him.
A lot of the sympathy that Takuto feels towards Akechi comes from his experience with the Choi twins. He can deduce that he’s being manipulated by Shido like how Saeran was manipulated by Rika, so he wants to save him just like how V saved the twins. That also applies to the Yoshizawa twins, since the two of them promised to always be together in pursuit of their dream, but Sumire was the “weaker” of the two and was secretly envious of Kasumi. All in all, the similarities are everywhere, which might, consciously or subconsciously, affect the way Takuto interacts with the PTs.
In any case, Takuto just wants to protect the PTs from the same kind of trauma that the RFA went through. But -- he isn’t like Rika, or so he tells himself. He’s convinced that his methods are right because they can save everyone without causing any more suffering. He’s pretty sure he’s sane (he’s not). Besides, Rika’s dream was originally pretty noble, so it should be fine as long as he doesn’t start drugging people, right?
(He will retraumatize them, hold them hostage, and brainwash them, though, because he doesn’t see it as such)
The third semester comes along. I’m sure you also know what happens here. Takuto gets a god complex, the PTs fight him, defeat him, steal his treasure, and they destroy his perfect reality.
After the change of heart, Takuto is crushed, so he goes back to V and MC and confesses the whole truth through tears. He profusely apologizes, fully aware of how he retraumatized all of the Phantom Thieves to guide them to ‘salvation’, not unlike what Rika did to the members of Mint Eye, and he takes responsibility, knowing that he should’ve asked for help much sooner.
V and MC are shocked and heartbroken, faced with the fact that their son suffered so much that he fell into insanity and no one even noticed. They feel as if, with all the trauma that the RFA has already gone through, they should’ve seen the warning signs, and they should’ve tried harder to help Takuto heal… but they know from experience there’s no guarantee that that would’ve solved anything, so it’s pointless to dwell in what-ifs.
V and MC listen to Takuto’s explanation. They don’t understand any of the cognitive psience stuff and they are sure that he’s delusional because of the whole reality thing, but they comfort him to the best of their abilities. MC tells Takuto that he’s not like Rika and that he can always make up for his past mistakes, while V assures him that it wasn’t his fault and that, if someone like V could get back on his feet after everything that happened with the Mint Eye, Takuto can do it too.
Takuto takes their advice to heart, choosing to leave counseling, seek therapy, and make amends with his former patients. The RFA supports him while he gets his life together (but Jumin didn’t teach him how to drive, of course… oh god please tell me Jumin didn’t teach him how to drive), and he begins (continues?) to volunteer for the association’s charity events, so that he can keep helping people in need. That’s around the time when the P5R ending happens.
And… yep. That’s pretty much it.
Bonus points if Takuto ends up introducing the RFA to the PTs and they all become a big, happy found family. Jaehee and Akiren can bond over coffee making, Yoosung and Ryuji can bond over games, Zen and Ann can bond over acting and modelling, Jumin and Makoto can bond over being robots, V and Yusuke can bond over art, Saeyoung and Futaba can bond over memes and hacking, Ray and Haru can bond over flowers, and Saeran and Akechi can bond over their hatred of their fathers, haha.
Anyways, this crack AU became way more serious and more wholesome than originally intended... Now I actually want this to be a thing, haha.

Hantober Days 15-18
(In which I Simp)
Bathrobes: A domestic activity you would look forward to do with him.
All of them.
I'm dead serious about this.
Give me. All. Of. Them.
Let me give Jumin the simple life that he coveted for so long, that stability and safe ground that he lacks in his life.
Plus I like to rather stay at home and do things at home: baking, cooking, gardening (I try at least) tending the animals, relax with a book or a TV show… it makes me feel at peace.
Jumin gives me the impression of being the kind of person who enjoys the little every day details of intimacy and routine: like brushing your hair, you washing his back. Goodbye kisses, welcome back kisses, drinking wine together while making dinner… also dancing,
I totally see him sweeping you out in the middle of the night for a random dance… If you are waiting for dinner is in the living room, in front of a fireplace..
If you are cooking dinner, is in the kitchen and congrats your potatoes are burning
Urban Dictionary: A word from said Dictionary that you'll use to describe Jumin
Loml
Definitely.
Tumblr media
Also did you know Jumin has his own entry in the urban dictionary?
Tumblr media
Epic.
"Man of Iron": Which do you consider is Jumin's biggest strength?
I was going to say his resilience, because the amount of times this man has picked himself from the floor and keep fighting, the things he fought... is unparalleled… except maybe, MAYBE... for Rika…
But thinking about the origin of that resilience, what fuels it, I came to the conclusion that his biggest strength is his stubbornness:
At some point in his life Jumin decided that he wasn't going to allow this particular issue (his PTSD, his tangled threads) to be a problem for him (and the people around him) and stop him.
Jumin had places to go, Jumin had people to meet and cats to pet.
But just as this is his biggest strength, is also his biggest weakness, as seen in how he handles Jaehee on her route, for example.
His stubbornness doesn't allow him to see what he is doing wrong, and as a result he is left more and more alone. Trying to deny that things affect him is what makes these very things affect him the most in the end. And suffer.
Lonely Island: Has he ever made you feel less lonely and more appreciated?
YES.
ALWAYS.
When sometimes I feel overwhelmed from all the chaos from outside, thinking in Jumin by my side actually helps me. He is a comfort presence for me, but (I think) at the difference of others who feel less lonely because of him, in my case it is not as much about, I don't know how to say this…
I feel less lonely because of him for the way he thinks, that is very similar to mine. That's it.
Just knowing that there's people who think like him makes me feel more understood, more accompanied, like I'm not alone.
I explained this better on the day 14 actually.
As for more appreciated, YES.
I've had moments where I imagined Jumin witnessing a situation in which I was being disrespected that actually made me realize "uh, not cool, they shouldn't treat me like this", it made me cry sometimes, thinking "Jumin wouldn't like to see me like this"
It is important to me because I'm the type of person to constantly doubt myself, if I'm not the one in the wrong, especially when the damage comes from someone close to me.
Jumin makes me want to look out for myself better.

Holiday Charity Stream pt2 - Jumin Han
Howdy here it is nobody asked for it but I did I’m so tired
Summary: you and Jumin are holding a holiday charity stream! You have two surprise guests left for the night, Jaehee and V, and you’re hoping to ask them to be your soon to be baby’s godparents!
Fastest five minute break of your life. You went pee, drank more water, got your makeup touched up, and had a few apple slices! Didn’t even get to SEE Jumin, as he also had to get makeup touch ups.
Within a blink of an eye, you were carrying your plate of apple slices to sit back on the couch with your husband. “How much longer til we’re back?” Jumin asked the cameras. Thirty seconds. He scooted closer to you, resting a hand on your knee. “Hi,” he whispered to you. It made you giggle.
“Hi Honey,” you whispered back. He cupped your cheek gently, placing a kiss to your lips, lingering there for a moment before pulling away.
“I love you.”
“I love you too. You’re doing great,” you replied.
The cameraman started counting down from 5. The two of you put in a little bit more space between each other (this was a family friendly stream of course) and turned to face the camera.
“We’re back!” You cheered, talking to the audience as you imagined them. “Hope you had a nice break.”
“I know we did,” Jumin smiled, grabbing your hand.
“Mhmm. I got some apple slices!” You exclaimed triumphantly, holding up the plate to show the audience. Family friendly Jumin. You were very worried somebody took that last comment the wrong way. You were also worried you were blushing.
He looked at you and smiled, stealing one of the apple slices for himself. You rolled your eyes but let him.
You could hear commotion at the door. V had just arrived! You got up, brushing your sweater so it would fall nicely, and made your way to see him. “Our next guest is here! V!”
You rushed by his side to help escort him onto the set. It was no secret to you that his eyesight was getting worse. It was a surprise that he agreed to be on the camera at all. Once he finally made it over, you pulled him in for a hug. He smiled, his hand making his way to feel your bump, which would normally be weird but was not at all odd for V since you were so close.
“Wow! They’re growing fast, huh?” He exclaimed. Jumin gave him a hug as well. It was sweet that they were still as close as ever.
“I’m surprised you could tell. I don’t feel like there’s that much of a difference,” you commented. V was always good at picking out the tiny details though, so you shouldn’t have been too too shocked.
“We’ve got a fun one planned for you,” Jumin told him, chuckling slightly as he thought of the activity you had planned. He had recommended ‘pin the star on the Christmas tree.’ Something V wouldn’t be at a disadvantage for because of his vision.
You stuck the poster of the Christmas tree to the wall, the cameras panning over to get a good view of the action. “Just like at birthday parties,” you explained, handing him the star sticker. “Did you guys do that at birthday parties?” You forgot how fancy~ these two were.
“No,” Jumin smiled. He knew their upbringing was strange but embraced it, especially because he was able to have a friend to go through it all with. “But I’ve seen it played before.”
“Well,” you handed V an eyemask. “You’ll put this on, we’ll spin you around, then you try to stick the star on the top of the tree.”
V, with the brightest smile on his face, put the eyemask on. It was nice to see him playing around. You and Jumin each stood on one side of him, spinning him a few times until he was slightly instead on his feet. He didn’t hit the right spot, but he did get it on the poster. He took off the eyemask and observed his work, shrugging at the okay job.
Jumin was next. He was surprisingly unsteady on his feet, faltering around as he tried to figure out which way to move. He bumped into you. “You’re not the wall, are you?” He asked.
You grabbed his outstretched hands. “Can’t say I am,” and then helped him shift to the side slightly to get back on track. He ended out putting the star on the wall, a bit off from the actual poster. He took off the mask, laughing out loud at the placement.
“It turns out I’m not very good at this,” he commented, a childish gleam in his eyes. It was nice to see him this happy. “You’re next.” He handed you the eyemask and you put it on.
“Promise not to spin me too fast or too much. I don’t wanna get sick.” Nothing would be worse than getting sick on air. And with your pregnancy your tummy wasn’t exactly dependable.
They spun you gently around, stopping finally as you started to feel lightheaded. You were swaying, but Jumin placed his hands on his shoulders to help you ground yourself. “Straight ahead,” he whispered in your ear. Alright. You’ve got this.
You took cautious steps forward, trying not to go off course, then finally hit the wall, luckily with your outstretched hands. Hands on the wall was cheating! You immediately snapped your hands back by your side. Okay... you put this poster up. Just had to visualize it.
“She sure is taking a while,” V joked.
“Shh! I need complete focus,” you teased back. Finally, you decided, reaching slightly upwards to stick it on.
You were at the wrong wall.
“I thought you said straight ahead!?” You cried to Jumin. He had his hand over his mouth, trying to hide his snickering. V was much the same. It was cute to see them so giddy. Almost forgiveable for making you look like an idiot live in front of millions of people. You rolled your eyes, trying to ignore them, and went to grab the present for V.
“Here’s your present for winning! Although I can’t confirm that you won fairly, you did win.” You glanced at Jumin, glaring at him. He knew you were playing around and simply smiled, resting a hand on your hip for good measure as you gave his friend the gift. V opened it slowly, taking off the tape and unwrapping it fold by fold. Finally he got to the box, opening it up and retrieving his gift.
“Is this a onesie?”
“V, would you be our baby’s godfather?” Jumin asked. He nearly dropped the present, pulling his friend into a hug.
“Nothing would make me happier.” He pulled back to hug you as well. “Thank you for all this. This was so much fun. And to be a part of your baby’s life too. That’s just wonderful.”
It was a heartwarming moment. All was forgiven for those two idiots.
As Jumin said his goodbyes to V, you waved Jaehee over to you.
“Is everything alright?” She asked, her voice quiet to avoid getting picked up by the microphones.
“Would you be our last guest tonight? You’ve done so much for this fundraiser, and for us in general, and I’d so love to have you on here.”
She grabbed your hands, tucking her clipboard under her arm. “Oh me? I don’t know... I’m not the person for tv.”
“We’d love you to. Please. It would mean so much to me.” You would have run the suggestion by her ahead of time, but she would have denied and avoided the production at all costs. You knew this was your only shot to get her here.
Jumin walked over to join the two of you, a warmth flooding his features. “Jaehee. We’d love to have you.”
“J-Jaehee? Mr. Han, I don’t know...” she was entirely flustered.
“You don’t have to. I want you on here as our friend, not an assistant. And if my friend doesn’t want to go on, she doesn’t have to,” you explained, a considerate smile on your face.
She took a deep breath. “Yes. Of course I’ll go on.”
You went back to the camera. “For our last guest of the night, we have one of my best friends. She’s been doing a lot of behind the scenes on this production tonight and deserves all the recognition. Please welcome Jaehee Kang.”
You imagined applause as she made her way out. You led her to the couch to sit down next to you and Jumin.
“Jaehee is a trusted member of the RFA. She really does it all. I’m constantly impressed and amazed by everything you do,” Jumin complimented. He was looking her right in the eyes. It was as though the cameras weren’t there. It was nice to see him being so kind.
“On a similar note,” you started, “I’m sure Jaehee has done her time wrapping gifts for you Jumin. So I thought we could do a gift wrapping contest. Who can wrap the fastest?” You got up, setting two boxes in front of the two, wrapping paper, scissors, and tape.
“Mr.- Uh, Jumin, do you even know how to wrap a present?” Jaehee asked. There was a mischevious smile on her face. It was like she could finally act the way she had always wanted to.
“I know how to... in theory.”
“I’m sitting this one out to ensure it’s a fair fight. And to eat more apple slices,” you explained to them. Jaehee nodded, Jumin laughed, shaking his head. You moved to the armchair with your apple in order to give them some more elbow space. “Are you ready? Then the time starts... now!”
In retrospect it wasn’t a timer, it was just who did it first. Oh well.
There was Jaehee, moving quickly but still taking her time to crease the edges nice. Her package looked great... honestly you should have paid her to wrap presents for you this year. And then there was Jumin.
He was lost. Constantly glancing over at Jaehee. He got the first step fine. But then when it came to the sides and making the triangles... well, he was lost.
Jaehee finished. He was clueless. She smiled, reaching over to take his, explaining step by step how to do the sides. He followed along with the opposite side, doing a decent job. And there it was, two perfect presents.
“I don’t think we need to talk about the winner,” you giggled, standing up to move back to them. “And your prize, Jaehee? Well, you just wrapped it yourself.”
“Suckered into it again,” she sighed. She ripped open the present, like a normal human being should, and opened the box. “I can’t believe I hadn’t even considered that.
Pushing the tissue paper aside, she pulled out a Christmas ornament. “This... this can’t be.” She looked at the two of you, shock on her face. “Truly? Me?”
“Of course you,” you encouraged.
“But you have so many other friends. Wonderful friends. And family. Me?”
“Nobody could possibly be a better godmother than you Jaehee,” Jumin reaffirmed, smiling softly at her.
“Plus you’ll probably be watching the little rascal from time to time,” you winked at her. She pulled you both into the biggest hug, tears in her eyes.
“This is the best gift ever. Really. Even if I did wrap it myself.”
She excused herself to go compose herself. It was sweet to see her so happy. She would be perfect for the job. You sat back down on the couch, leaning your head on your husband’s shoulder.
“I’m tired.” You tried to keep your voice upbeat but it was challenging. You had been up for forever, and coordinating this all and the lights and the excitement had drained you.
“Luckily enough that was the closing act.” Jumin wrapped his arm around your waist to keep you close, his fingers lazily brushing across your skin. “Thank you so much everyone. I’ve been told we surpassed our goal significantly.”
“We, of course, will be making a contribution to once this has ended. This is such a great cause and I can’t thank you all enough.”
Jumin nodded, and kissed your head. Looks like he was going to close it out. Thank goodness, because you were exhausted. “Happy holidays, whatever you celebrate. Rest well and stay safe.”

seeing as you are still up for requests... could I get the boys reactions to finding out MC retricts food & shows signs of an eating disorder (undiagnosed but this kind of behavior has been going on for several years). It's perfectly fine if you don't want to write it, if you're uncomfortable with that topic! I don't want to pressure you into anything and I'm glad for the content you've written so far either way
hey! i don’t mind, i’ve dealt with ednos for years and it’s not something that ever fully goes away, but i feel that talking about it and being open is something that really helps.this is triggering content however, so please be warned, and don’t read it if hearing about eating disorders and behaviors triggers you!
YOOSUNG:
* This boy loves to cook. Loves it! He’s always been looking forward to cooking for his future partner, isnisting he’ll always add a dash of love in every meal.
* So when he sees how little MC eats of his home-cooked meals he feels...disappointed, to say the least. Is it because they don’t like his cooking? They find it too salty? Too spicy?
* He’s too embarassed to ask at first, but after trying out different recipes and still seeing the same response from MC, he asks them about it.
* They just insist they don’t eat much in general, but that they tend to have a lot of snacks throughout the day and that that’s the reason why. Yoosung doesn’t really question it, since it’s true that he’s not with MC 24/7-it’s completely logical that they could be eating whilst he’s not home and being too full by the time he comes back to eat a full meal with him.
* Yet...something doesn’t add up. Even though MC insists they’re constantly snacking, there’s never anything missing from the cupboards, and at night they always insist they can’t eat any more-yet after looking closely at their patterns for a whole day, he swears he barely saw them eat much of anything!
* Eventually he gets worried and sits MC down to properly talk to them about it. He says how much it scares him to see them like this, and how he can see the impact this dietary lifestyle has on their health-how they seem tired and dizzy far too often, and how much it can impact their mental health too.
* He doesn’t expect MC to breakdown when he talks about it all-but seeing them explain through tears to him that they realise this behavior is wrong, but it’s something they’ve been doing for years and have no control over breaks him. He had no idea MC was struggling so much, even thoug they’ve been living under the same roof...
* He hugs them tight, kissing the top of their head as he promises he’ll help them work on it. He has no clue how, and has to ask for a lot of help from the RFA to find a good therapist for MC, but from then on he’s always sitting with them through meals, helping them slowly increase their portion size and distracting them when they get too anxious over what they’re eating. He’ll help them fight through this, together.
ZEN:
* He’s honestly always home late, and whenever he asks if MC already had dinner, the answer’s always yes.
* Yet, when he goes to the fridge to grab some leftover food to eat too, he notices there’s always far too much for MC to have also eaten-not unless they made a triple portion, which he doubts.
* When he asks them about it, MC insists they just made too much food. Soon after though, he notices that the portions do indeed decrease, and that it seems like they did eat-pies would be cut and a piece would be missing, or cutlery would be left in the dishwasher to be cleaned the next morning.
* Yet something nagged at Zen. Call it a premonition if you will, but he simply knew something was bothering his beloved, and he felt that their troubles and the food in the fridge had something to do with one another.
* He’d notice their nervous habit of gripping their collarbone between their thumb and index finger, how they’d stare at the mirror often and trail their hands down their sides with a frown-he tried to sneak up on them each time, wrap his arms around their waist and give them a kiss on the crook of their neck, reminding them how beautiful they look, but he’d be always met with a roll of the eyes or a huff, MC genlty pushing him off of them as they swtiched back to their normal self.
* The last straw came when one morning he asked MC if they wanted to jog with him-they said yes, and yet as soon as they neared the park and prepared to run, he turnt to say something to MC only to find them falling to the floor, squatting down with their head resting on their knees as they took deep labored breaths.
* Zen immediatly picked them up, taking them to a bench to sit on so he could take a proper look at them, notice the paleness of their skin and the sheen of sweat on their forehead from the hot summer air. He gave them some water yet they still shook, their colour turning an almost sickly green.
* He was about to call the hospital when MC stopped him with a shaky hand, telling him that it’s their sugar levels acting up. With a confused frown, Zen dashed to the convinience store across the street, getting a dozen bars of chocolate and a sugary drink and running back to MC, opening the drink for them and forcing them to drink a few gulps of it.
* When they settled down and seemed better, Zen was furious. But more than that he was worried. What happened? This isn’t normal, did they not eat anything?!
* MC gulped down their anxiety and came clean to Zen-told him about their eating habits, how they kept torturing themselves with a constant need of control, how they’d skip meals and over-work themselves with exercise.
* Zen’s heart broke. His MC was going through this all? And he never noticed?
* He swore to help them get through it. He tried to be there for every meal, calling them if not, and tried to show them how fun a correct healthy lifestyle can be. He’d reming them of how much he loved them the way they are everyday, and will never stop telling them so until they start to believe it themselves.
JUMIN:
* He of course learns about it as soon as the chef informs him that MC is either refusing meals or asking him to not cook them at all.
* He’ll waste no time in talking to MC about it, reminding them how important a healthy lifestyle is, and how he can take them to meet his nutritionist for a custom-made meal plan tailored to them and their needs.
* To say he was not expecting MC to break down at that is...an understatement lol. He’s immediatly by their side, holding them close to his chest as they cry and explain how it’s not a matter of meal plans or lifestyle-it’s something out of their control, how getting food in them terrifies them, how they know it’s not right or healthy but there’s this sick sense of power from controlling their hunger in this way.
* Jumin isn’t able to process all of that right away-instead he’ll sit MC down on the couch, his hands wrapped around them as he asks why they’d need to have this control they insist they need over their body.
* “My love, you’re wonderful the way you are, and I fell in love with your mind, bosy and soul. It hurts to even think that you don’t see the beauty that’s in you. However, this is more than just a worry over your appearance, not when you mention how you need to feel this ‘control’ as you say. This sounds far deeper...I think it’d be best to seek out professional help about it. What do you say?”
* He’ll find the best therapist with a specialty on eating disorders for MC to have sessions with, and he himself will sit down with a nutritionist and learn all there is to know about how to help MC recover-how eating frequent small portions helps, how they can start slowly introducing foods they’ve been labelling as ‘bad’ into their diet for variety, and so on. He’d then transfer this ifnormation to their chef, and make sure MC receives each and every one of those meals.
* He’d make absoloutely sure to be with them for at least three meals a day. He’d refuse to leave for work until they have breakfast together, would visit MC at their workplace or ask them to join him at the office for lunch, and have dinner with them back at home, messaging them frequently to remind them to have snacks inbetween meals.
* He’ll never stop reminding them of how much he loves them, and about the amazing things their body can do, quoting facts he heard from doctors and the internet. Hel’ll make damn sure MC knows just how amazing they are, no matter what.
SEVEN:
* This boy...he has such a shitty lifestyle lmao
* He’ll forget to eat so often, and his diet pretty much consists of junk food and soda, yet thanks to the work out he gets from missions, this dude always looks fit, and MC...they love him, but it hurts to always be comparing themselves and the amount of food they eat to their boyfriend.
* It’s a secret competition-they try and find out Seven’s eating patterns, how much he’s eaten in a day and what, and force themselves to eat less than that, no matter what
* Well, no matter how busy Seven may be, he’s always looking out for his dear MC, so it doesn’t take too long for him to realise just what they’re up to
* He’s heartbroken, and initirally thinks he might be the cause of it-has he made MC this way? Have his habits made MC think they should follow suit?
* He’ll sit them down and talk with them, ask what’s up, why they’re doing this to themselves-he might come off as agressive at first, but that’s simply how he shows his extreme concern.
* When MC explans their situation, and what they’ve been doing, Seven is conflicted. He hates that they feel this way about themselves, and hates himself even more for giving MC a bad example to follow. He’s also unsure of what exactly he can do to help.
* He cusps MC’s face between his hands and vows to help them get better, and promises he’ll also fix his bad eating habits, so that they can get better together
* Once Seven makes a promise, he means it
* He’ll immediatly throw out all of the Honey Buddha Chips in the house, much to Yoosung’s dismay, and hold MC’s hand tight in his as they go grocery shopping for healthy meals and snacks to replace HBD. He’ll look online for therapists MC can visit and discuss pros and cons with them, and he’ll even contact nutritionists to help him out.
* He’ll never miss meal times ever again. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, no matter how busy he is, he’ll be there with MC so they can eat together, and he’ll wait as long as it takes for them to finish their meal too.
* He’ll never let them hurt themself ever again.
V/JIHYUN:
* He loves MC very very much, but he’s also...a little daft when it comes to such matters.
* He genially doesn’t realise what MC has been doing, since with work and all he’s often abroad for a few days at a time, and MC always says they’ve eaten when he asks
* He does notice some weird habits MC has-how they constantly seem to be poking at themself, as if feeling for something beneath their skin, how they flinch when he tries to hug them, how they drink a lot of water and tea and coffee and never seem to want any snacks with their evening tea or anything of the sort.
* V only puts two and two together when, whilst cleaning the kitchen cupboards, he finds a box full of bottles with diet pills and metabolism boosters, most of which were half-empty.
* He’s shocked and confused-how long had MC been taking this? Was this the reason he rarely saw them eat? Has he done something to accidentantly encourage this behavior?
* He loves them so much and finds them beautiful as they are, do they not see themself the same way?
* Before talking with MC about it, he contacts his own therapist first, telling him about his findings and how worried he is for his S/O. His therapist gives him some important information on eating diisorders that V wouldn’t have thought of otherwise-how it’s never just about weight and appearance, how it might not even be simply restricting, how just telling MC to eat healthier might not help at all.
* With new information at hand, V takes MC out to a park where they can sit together in the quiet summer afternoon and watch the sun set. There he takes a hold of their hand and tells them how much he loves them, and how he never wants to see them suffer, and that he’s noticed behaviors that worry him and make him think it’d be best for MC to seek professional help.
* He’ll be gentle and discreet, and allow MC to slowly tell him all there is to say about their eating disorder and habits, he’ll let them cry on his shoulder and even cry with them, unable to see them in pain, and vow to help in any way he can.
* He introduces them to his own therapist, who in turn refers MC to an eating disorders specialist, and V is there for them after every session, holding them tight and giving them all the encouragement he can.
* He’ll never miss meal times, and when he’s abroad he’ll videocall MC to make sure they’ve eaten at least something, and he’ll send them encouraging messages throughout the day
* He just wants them to be their best, healthiest self, and he’ll be there for them through it all
hi, your local med student and fellow mentally ill aunty here, to remind you that if you’re suffering from a menal illness and/or eating disorder, please don’t be afraid to seek professional help! no matter what your brain tells you, you’re always worthy of help and you should never be afraid of asking for it-you deserve a good quality of life, always!

As Regular As Clockwork
Pairing: Jumin/Reader
Word count: 3,365
Summary: Jumin is a man of many talents. Though saying no to you wasn't one of them.
A/N: So here was an art trade for someone since they mentioned on twitter wanting a fic of MC teasing Jumin with the cameras in his penthouse bc there’s plenty for Seven but not enough for him and my horny ass jumped at the opportunity because who am I if not a slut for Jumin Han
It should also be worth mentioning that this would be a good example of what you’d be receiving if you commission me ^^ here’s the info on that
Not safe for kiddos below the cut
When it came to work, Jumin was much like a clock. Precise in every action and gesture, punctual to any meeting he attended, and methodical, as if his every movement was timed. He’s often compared to a robot, but not even a robot, no matter how advanced it is, could be as meticulous as him.
He was also predictable to those that would observe closely. Anyone that sat down and watched long enough would pick up on just how he worked. Though there were very few people in his life who took the time to truly understand this pattern; a less than handful amount that truly understood the way he worked in, and even out, the office.
You, on the other hand, not only took the time to observe, but to even put to memory these patterns. He welcomed you into every aspect of his life and you took this as an opportunity to get know him beyond the things even he wouldn’t notice. At any given moment of the day, you could tell anyone what Jumin must be doing with almost perfect accuracy. Though the moments that always intrigued you were the ones where his attention was turned somewhere else.
From your observations, he’d look over the documents on his desk, mark down any revisions, place it in the outbox on the corner of his desk, and repeat the process for a few hours. At exactly 2:32 pm, in the midst of his work and 13 minutes short of his scheduled daily meeting, his eyes would glance over the monitor on his desk— open to the CCTV in his penthouse— and smile to himself to see the white coat of his beloved pet before he continued onto his pile.
It made you wonder just how he looked at the screen when you weren’t around and instead on the other side of it. Did his gaze linger just a bit longer? Was his smile just a bit wider at the thought of seeing his loving partner? Or would he even look at all, considering the original intent of this camera was to watch after Elizabeth? But what you really wanted to know was whether you could use it to break that precious, commendable concentration of his.
His greatest gift, what truly made him the heir extraordinaire that he is, was how steady his focus could be. It was a little shaken up at your arrival, but he was able to manage after a while, finding you to be the new center of his focal point. You always admired this about him, a trait that he fully used to learn everything about you in no time, especially when it only seemed to heighten once you two became intimate.
But to find a weak spot, a vulnerability in his everyday flow that you could easily pervade proved to be your hardest task as a spouse yet. Weeks on end and you had yet to see an opportunity.
Until one morning. One morning that you woke up to find his grasp on you just a bit tighter than usual. His every word as you two had breakfast together had an underlying need to it. And the usual goodbye kiss you sent him out the door with seemed much more covetous, tugging at your bottom lip as he pulled away and leaving you weak in the knees at his departure.
‘Bingo,’ you thought to yourself, biting back the devious smile that threatened to spread.
~
The end of his pen tapped against the desk incessantly, fidgeting with it between his fingers every once in a while before they signed away at a document and repeating the process. It was unlike him to be so restless, as if his hands couldn’t stay still and needed to find some sort of occupancy to them.
His usual three-piece suit felt much more restricting than usual, shifting uncomfortably in his seat every so often. His hand constantly found its way to the tie around his neck, loosening it just a bit every time. It made him wonder whether they were dry-cleaned correctly or if he had hit some sudden growth spurt at 28.
Every sound behind the closed doors of his office seemed much louder than they actually were, testing at his patience at every little tick. In particular, the wall clock that hung above the door sounded as if it was right in his ear, ticking continuously with no end in sight.
And in all these subtle nuances, you happened to sit on the forefront of his mind. With every thought, every scenario his imagination would drift into, and every bit of semblance he’d fixate on, his restlessness would only get worse.
It started innocently, wishing he could have convinced you to come along for the day. Your presence sitting patiently on his office couch, getting up occasionally to plop on his lap and give him a quick kiss. Your fingers carding through his locks as they always did. Lips moving from his to the corner of his mouth, pressing along his cheek slowly until it was just under his jawline. Lingering for a second until your tongue darted out to press a wet kiss on his neck, shifting to straddle him between your legs.
The pen in his hand snapped in half, bringing him out of his thoughts. Luckily, it was a simple bik pen— plastic and disposable compared to the others that sat on his desk. A frustrated sigh passed his lips, throwing the pen away as he noticed the time on the clock. 2:31 pm, 14 minutes before his scheduled group meeting and right on time to glancing at the CCTV for a quick revival in energy.
Sure enough, he saw his lovely cat perched on the cat-tree and sleeping soundly, smiling softly at the sight. His eyes then went to scanning the rest of the room for your presence only to see nothing, demeanor falling just a bit at that. He had hoped to see you, to sate this need of his with simply knowing that you were home and waiting for him.
Just as he was about to close it, he saw you walk into sight. Slow, precise steps as you walked through the space, silk robe lazily draped over your figure and coming off your shoulder. Intrigued, he continued to eye you as you sat yourself on the living room couch, getting comfortable right within view. Your hands went to the tie around your waist, undoing it to reveal the lingerie you had on underneath— a lacy two piece he carefully chose for you— and he felt his breathing hitch at the sight.
He pondered whether he should be spying on you like this, but his eyes just couldn’t seem to tear from the screen; absolutely enamored by every curve and dip of your skin he could see. Before he could even think to close out, your legs spread apart in plain sight of the lens and your eyes flicked between the phone on your side and up to meet his own.
Your hand slid between your thighs and rubbed tight circles over your panties, the other hand coming up to your chest and pinching the pert bud over your lacy fabric. You were clearly moaning, head thrown back in pleasure. He could only imagine the sounds you were making, his hand moving down to palm over his pants at the growing erection.
His other hand moved to the phone on his desk, quickly dialing your number and pressing it to his ear. Leaning back in his seat, he could see your phone light up and the small smile on your features as you went to pick it up.
“Hi honey,” your voice answered on the other side, punctuating your words with a breathy moan. He could see the sly grin on your face deepen as your hands still clearly rubbed over your panties, biting your lip before you continued, “Weird of you to call in the middle of work, what’s going on?”
He knew your teasing tone all too well, smirking to himself at your faux innocence. It was endearing to see you act so ingenue when your actions were so contradictory. Though he decided to play along, wondering just how long you could keep up this front.
“I thought I’d check up on my dearest,” his voice low and sultry “Make sure that you’re behaving.”
“Well,” you paused, emphasizing the silence with a drawn out gasp as he watched your fingers drag over your sensitive nub, “I can assure you that I’m being very good.”
“Is that so?” he asked, though you could hear the upturn of his lip, “And what exactly are you doing?”
“Thinking about you.”
At that, he couldn’t fight the low, breathy chuckle that reverberated in his chest, his hand moving from his clothed shaft to the buckle on his belt. Just as he tugged on it, a knock at the door startled him up straight, coughing between a ‘yes?’ to hide his previous tone. To hear how flustered he was only encouraged you to moan against his ear throughout.
He quickly composed himself, putting on a poker face as the door opened slightly only for Jaehee to pop her head in. The only evidence of his previous actions was a flushed face that only grew deeper to hear your lewd sounds on the other side.
“Mr. Han, I apologize for interrupting, but you have a meeting in 10 minutes.”
“Assistant Kang,” he started, steely gaze moving between the monitor and door, “I’m taking care of an urgent matter at the moment. If I’m not out in time, apologize on my behalf and assure them that I’ll be there soon.”
From his peripheral, he could see you stripping the layer you had, baring yourself to the camera as you continued your ministrations. His cheeks deepened in color at this dirty little secret and he was thankful that only he could see.
“Alright, I will, just please don’t keep them waiting long,” she said simply before closing the door behind her.
“Yeah Mr. Han, don’t keep them waiting,” you teased, drawing out your words and eliciting a low groan from him.
“Then you’re going to have to do exactly as I say,” his voice as commanding as it was deep, hand moving to undo his belt in one fluid motion.
“Oh,” you mused, “And who said you could take the lead on this?”
He let out another small laugh, amused at this change in character.
“Am I supposed to ask for permission?” his words sturdy in their silent demand, but hitching as his member met the cool air. You couldn’t see it, but you could imagine the smug smile on his face.
“Well no, but I thought it’d be nice to have the upper hand for once,” he could see the pouty expression on your lips and he couldn’t resist, not when you looked so enticing.
“Alright,” he finally said, “Whatever it is you desire of me, I will gladly do it.”
“Good,” you said just above a whisper, watching as your expression shifted to a sly smile, “Take a picture for me.”
“A picture? Of what exactly?” he questioned, obviously baiting for a specific response.
“Well I don’t think it’s fair that you can see all of me so clearly,” you continued, emphasizing your words with a drag of your fingers over your thigh, “Shouldn’t I get a peak too?”
“If that’s truly what you want,” his grin deepening, “Then your wish is my command.”
To see your simper smile and body writhe slightly at his words made him bold. He found it all too entertaining, not only that you were able to get him to do something so lewd and so out of his character, but that he would hand the world over to you on a silver platter if he could and that this was what you wanted. You wanted to see him, to have an intimate reminder of just what you do to him. And he was more than happy to indulge you.
He moved the phone against his ear to navigate to his camera, pointing it towards his view. One hand holding the base of his shaft while the other snapped a picture and sent it your way. The tinge of embarrassment would have taken over had he not heard your impressed gasp, seeing you smile as you gazed at your phone.
The picture itself wasn’t entirely steady in true Jumin fashion, but you could see every little detail that practically made you water at the mouth. The precum glistening and dripping from his tip, plump and reddened head you knew had to be sensitive to the touch, and every ridge and vein taut and outlined perfectly. Though the most impressive had to be his length— long, thick, and sturdy as it stood fully erect. Your digits truly couldn’t compare, thrusting them into yourself as you imagined his cock in its place.
“I’ll assume you’re pleased with the photo,” he said watching you closely, though you could pick up the hint of smugness in his tone. To see you trying to find purchase, uttering his name between gasps, he felt a bit of pride swell in his chest. The hand around his base gripped and slowly stroked, letting out a low moan to let you know exactly what he was doing.
“Very,” you teased back, “You have a lot to be proud of, Mr. Director.”
“Really?” he purred, thumb circling his tip and spreading his precum, “I could say the same about you.”
“The only thing I’m truly proud of is how hard I’ve made you,” your words practically dripped like honey as he hung on to every syllable, languid strokes timed with your own movements.
“Are you touching yourself right now?” you asked, catching him off guard, but that didn’t stop him. You could hear his labored breathing, the small moans that rippled out at your words, followed by a small, confident chuckle.
“And if I was?”
His words almost seemed like a challenge. A test to see how long you could keep up this act, to see how long it would take until you handed control back over to him as he desired. But that wasn’t something you could easily give up, especially not now and especially not when you practically had him at the palm of your hand.
“Well I just didn’t take you for someone that would do that in your own office,” you offered, a faux shock in your words.
“It just makes me wonder what you would do if I was there. If I just happened to be under that desk right now.”
At your words, his mind quickly went to the vision of you on your knees below his desk. Letting out a low groan, he couldn’t help but imagine your hand taking his place. And to hear your name under his breath had you biting back a wide grin.
“If only I could be right there, between your legs,” your words egging him on to increase his pace, breathy moans accentuating your pauses, “Tasting every bit of your cock, tongue sliding up from base to head until I’m taking it all in, gagging at your every thrust. And lapping up every bit of your cum once you finish.”
His head lulled back at your graphic descriptions, relishing in every little detail with a low groan. You truly had a talent for riling him up like you were and using something as simple as his imagination to drive him wild.
“But what I truly want is to be sprawled on your desk, completely on display for you. Having your way with me the way you always do, my nails raking down your back as you thrust into me over and over,” your eyes closing shut as if you were just imagining it, “Your hands pinning me down in place until I’m begging to touch you again.”
The pumping of his hand increased to a brutal pace, hips jerking up meet it. He tried to suppress his moans, but it was no use, letting them slip much like his restraint.
“And to call out your name, loud enough for the entire office to hear so they know just who is pleasing me so well, who I truly belong to,” you half-whispered, following it with a small laugh to hear just how ready he was to collapse with every gasp he sucked in through gritted teeth.
All the images you painted in his mind had him reeling, thinking of how truly unfair this current situation was. He could only watch as you touched yourself from afar, unable to provide the touch and feel he was longing for. And all while your voice teased him from the opposite end of the line. When agreeing to this, he gave you an inch and you took a mile before he could even realize.
“MC, you’re walking a fine line,” he cautioned, though the broken moans that followed his words had made you dauntless. You knew exactly what he meant by that, but it didn’t stop your almost taunting demeanor.
“And here I thought that you’d do anything I desired,” you pouted, feigning an innocence he could see right through. He knew you had a point, he did hand power over to you, but he didn’t realize just what it would do to him. How incessantly you planned to bait him or how badly he wanted to see you wriggle under his own control.
But he couldn’t quite deny how much he loved it. And all he wanted right now was a release; entirely deprived of your touch but needing just that bit of release.
And there was something incredibly pleasing about hearing just how desperate he was for you. The coveted heir-to-be on the other line—  a successful, educated, and completely composed man who is constantly commended for his strong will and unwavering focus— was a complete moaning mess that found himself aroused with your every word and every action. He was practically subservient to anything you asked of him and you wanted nothing more than to give into just what he wanted, knowing he was so close.
“Come for me,” your words just above a whisper, but firm in their command.
His eyes squeezed shut, feeling the coil in him tighten with every unrelenting stroke. His body jerked forward a bit at the oncoming release, writhing in pleasure as he called your name breathlessly. The internal clock he solely depended on had practically stopped without a care, instead focusing wholly on you.
It didn’t take long for him to unravel, letting out a strangled moan as the warmth in the pit of his stomach burst. His cum spilling and collecting in his hand, body in tremors as he came down from his high and leaving him a disheveled mess. His shallow, ragged breathing the only sound between you two.
Your own movements had slowed down, almost coming to a halt as soon as you noticed that he had reached his breaking point. Looking back up at the monitor, he could see the sly smile form on your face before you broke the silence.
“Look at that, 2:44. Right on time for your meeting, looks like I’ll have to leave you here. Good luck dear, I love you,” you practically chimed, a complete 180 from the previous few minutes. And before he could find the words to respond, you quickly hung up. From the camera, he could see you throw your robe back on, blow a kiss to the camera, and saunter off and out of sight.
He sat at his desk, completely dumbfounded and mouth hanging in confusion. You had practically left him a mess, both physically and mentally, and he loved every second of it. Though it left him completely depraved without truly sating his previous need for you. In fact, it made him much more worked up. And the only thought running through his mind was just how he was going to punish you for this as soon as he gets home.

RFA + V+ Saeran Acting As a Guardian to Teenage! MC
A/n: Have some headcanons to soothe the pain I just caused
Under the cut since it’s a long one! MC is about 16 in this one!
Also: might include some spoilers!!!
Yoosung
Finally, he wasn’t the youngest anymore!
He was so excited to meet you and honestly he was all sunshine and rainbows as he talked about how you were like a little sibling to him
So gushing and doting, he’s more of an older sibling than a parental figure, but he still does it so well
Always brags to his guildmates he has the best sibling ever, and he will fight (and lose horribly) to anyone who tries to say otherwise
Very concerned over you since you’re so young and caught up in the RFA’s mishaps.
So proud of anything you do, even getting out of bed makes him cheer for you
Always cooks for you, anything you want, he’ll make for you.
He won’t admit it until he’s at his worst- when the depression and the grief from losing Rika really gets to him- but he looks up to you. He kinda gets jealous of how young and talented you are (even if you don’t think so), and wishes to become better so you have someone actually worthwhile to look up to (in his mind).
He doesn’t seem to think that you like him, he still assumes he’s a bit of a nuisance and someone else could be better. You however, love him a lot and value his presence in your life. You don’t think you would’ve been as motivated without his help!
Sometimes he can get a bit irresponsible and you need to drag his butt to bed so he doesn’t game so much.
Taking care of you has been a roller coaster for both of you, but he still feels a lot better since you’re here. He has cut down on his bad habits and has slowly grown from his past issues.
If you talk about how you’re going on a date, he’ll cry.
“Waaaaaahhhhhh!!! How are you going on dates before I am????”
He’s supportive though, and makes sure your date actually cares for you. Probably the only one on this list you don’t have to worry about when saying you’re seeing someone
Zen
Okay so the first moment you met him on the messenger, you flipped out.
“ZEN??? AS IN THE ZEN???? JDSFJNAJGNLSJN OH MY GOD CAN YOU STEP ON ME?????”
Jaehee also feels you but outwardly tells you to relax
He goes full on dad mode. He immediately checks himself and everyone else, anything above a ‘g’ rating and he’s flipping out. No more flirting, no more swearing, no more smoking, he’s gotta be a father figure somehow.
Once he cools down, he finds that his paternal instincts come naturally. He is very easy to talk to and is easily your biggest supporter. He wants you to feel confident in yourself and see that he’s got your back no matter what happens, something he didn’t have growing up.
If you say you wanna act or join theater (especially if it’s because of him) he’ll just cry. He’ll sob about how his ‘child’ is the most precious thing in the world.
He’s a straight up PTA dad afterwards, always going to your school when he can and checking up on you.
All the mothers and teachers try to hit on him but he ignores them because his shining little star is there
He goes to all of your shows, all of your concerts, ANYTHING that involves potentially watching you do something, he is there in a second.
After anything, whether you give a speech or a finished a performance, he’s there with a large bouquet of flowers. He’s so proud of you and he feels so enthusiastic about you.
His narcissism drops about 200% because now he’s focused on you. His phone is full of pictures of you and your accomplishments, and after anything he makes sure to say it in the RFA messenger.
He’s really easy to have a heart to heart with because you’re his precious little angel and he’s just as (if not more) emotional as you.
HOWEVER!!! DO NOT!! I REPEAT!!! DO NOT MENTION DATING!!! THIS MAN WILL GO WALK UP TO WHOEVER YOU LIKE/DATING AND WILL GO INTO A FISTFIGHT WITH THEM.
He screams when you mention guys- ‘MEN ARE WOLVES!! THEY ARE HORRIBLE!! THEY ARE DISGUSTING DO NOT EVER DATE!! YOU ARENT ALLOWED TO DATE UNTIL IM DEAD AND YOURE 80!!’
Jumin
So, let’s cut to the chase, you REEALLy liked the fact Jumin was rich.
“Wow, so I DON’T have to starve everyday???”
Jumin is...not the most emotional at first. He is just getting used to having to take care of you so it will be a while before he opens up.
Jumin is great for when you want to rant or need to blow off steam. He doesn’t say anything and just listens to you. However, it’s horrible when you want emotional/physical comfort.
He tries, he really does, but since he grew up so detached with his emotions he immediately thinks you’re dramatic. It isn’t until Jaehee (and perhaps Zen too) step in and say how he can’t keep brushing off your feelings
So, he decides to try even harder and understand the enigma that is a teenage mind.
It’s difficult as shit
After a while, he begins to learn all your cues and patterns, and understands what you want when you need it. He can read you like an open book now and knows when he should give you space or step in and comfort you.
He’s actually really good at it
He is always pampering you to the extreme. You watch tv and muse, “cool... there’s a new video game out.” and forget moments later, he immediately walks in with over a hundred games and pre-ordered, deluxe gold editions of them.
He is the prime example of a father figure at this point, and all your friends get jealous.
He only gives you the best and will settle for nothing less. You are practically his own child at this point and like HELL is he gonna give you anything he discerns as not worthy.
He likes taking you out for nice strolls after you beg ask for you two to hang out. You always get excited at seeing a simple cafe or mannequin with a cute outfit, and he wonders at how nice it must be to be so innocent
Plenty of outlets had contacted him about you, but he makes sure your privacy is secure. He doesn’t want anyone taking advantage of you or getting too personal
But they do manage to capture snippets of you two walking, and some misunderstandings have occurred due to it
“Jumin Han is dating a minor!”
“Jumin Han has child after affair with mistress!”
He gets fed up with the rumors and explains right away that you are NOT his lover, and you are NOT his actual child. He lies and says you were the child of a good friend of his, because explaining what actually happened would be weird
He is one of the worst when you say you’re dating someone. He will hound his security guards to watch EVERYTHING you to do, and he WILL have 707 do a background check on whoever you are going out with.
“What are they doing?” “Uhhh...they’re eating.” “What about now?” “Still eating sir.” “Are his hands visible?” “Yes sir, he’s using them to eat a burger.” “B-burger? Where are they at?!” “McDonald’s sir...” “What kind of lousy date is this, why did (Y/n) accept this, does he think he’s good enough for my child with his peasant lifestyle???” “Sir...they’re 16????”
All in all, he’s trying to be a good father figure and guardian that he never really had growing up. But he’s so prideful at seeing how much you mature, and even though he’s blunt sometimes, he hopes you understand he loves you a lot.
He also tries dad jokes, but they’re so weird because obviously he rehearsed it and he says it so stoically that it makes it even funnies.
Jaehee
Jaehee is a sweet woman, and she is like your best friend and mother rolled into one.
She is so caring and considerate of your feelings, and is your number one supporter.
She may seem kinda stand-offish, and kind of annoyed because she’s already incredibly busy now she has to take care of someone else and-
Whoops now she’s in the PTA and runs it like a damn boss. She is all over your studies and fights the faculty if she feels the school is not running in tip top shape.
She gets exhausted a lot, as Jumin isn’t exactly the easiest boss to work for.
It was kind of hard at first, sometimes she wouldn’t come home until way after midnight, and she’d see your body passed out on the couch with a note on the table about how you tried to make her dinner.
Even though it wasn’t the best, knowing you tried so hard to stay up for her as well as cooking for her made the food taste even better than anything a five star restaurant could have made.
So she tries to make it up to you in any way she can. She’ll pick you up your favorite movie or snack on her way home, or even little cute gifts that reminded her of you.
She writes down any information she knows about you, and makes sure to write about your friends and teachers so she can keep up with you.
She gushes about Zen a lot, and you were a fan too, so you both would binge watch his movies and clips of him. ANY piece of media involving Zen was devoured by you two.
You two were constantly picking each other up and giving gifts, and when it was Jaehee’s birthday, you wrote her a letter about how much she meant to you and even got Zen to sign a poster for her!
It was also the first time you called her ‘mom’, and even though the Zen poster is proudly hung up in her office, she can’t help but smile at how you called her that.
She is a huge advocate of following your dreams. She does complain about how awful it is to work for Jumin sometimes, so she hopes to god you do something you love.
You also convinced her to start her own cafe! You helped her as much as you could, and she was just...so ecstatic.
Jaehee is easy to talk to, she is always prepared with good advice and comforting words.
Probably the second easiest to talk to about dating. She is hesitant at first because one, you’re young and stupid, and two, she just doesn’t trust people.
707/ Saeyoung
Okay, everyone in the RFA was hesitant to allow him to take care of you. They trusted him when it came to his work, but this was an actual human being. He could hardly take care of himself, how would he even take care of you???
Surprisingly, he’s an awesome guardian
A lot of them didn’t believe it at first and they were like ‘blink twice if he isn’t feeding you’ but you shrug and insist he’s great
He’s very nurturing and protective of you, and he sort of sees this as a second chance to make up for when he couldn’t help his brother.
He’s really good in the fact that he’ll allow you your space to grow, but he will step in if you’re out of line or in trouble
Will NOT hesitate to ruin someone’s life if they dare hurt you. He’s got connections and the prowess and like hell is someone gonna make his child cry.
Saeyoung is still as corny and crazy as he is in the chatroom, but in these instances with you, he means it a lot. He does anything he can to make you smile, even if it means he’d get hurt.
He is a lot calmer though with you, and his parental instincts kick in a lot more. The RFA was shocked to see him actually change some of his poor quality of life skills as a means to be a better guardian to you.
When he needs to go on a mission, he entrusts Jumin or Vanderwood to take care of you.
He never tells you about those dangerous missions, he only says he’s going to be at a conference out of the country.
He always makes sure to get you a souvenir or gift when he comes back from those trips.
Joy rides in his cars!! He loves to take you to the beach or sightseeing whenever he can.
He stills eats poorly, but it really makes him melt when you offer him some dinner you cooked for him. He started screaming and Yoosung (who was on the other end of the phone call) felt his ears bleed.
He gets so excited for your cooking, like he stops his work just to take a bite of your grub.
He hacks to get movies that weren’t even released to the public yet so you both could watch it on your downtime. He’s a hardcore softie though and you still have yet to see him shut up or not sob all over you as you two watch.
“You’re getting snot on me!!!” “I’M sorry it’s just....oh my god how could this even happen??????”
You accidentally called him ‘dad’ one time and he lost it. He was jumping for joy and hugging you in a death grip, screaming, “IM A FATHER!!!!!”
Oh and he will definitely not pass up the opportunity to make some Star Wars references.
You can’t hide anything from him. He tries to not be snoopy but holy shit you did not know just how far he’d go when it came to keeping tabs on you.
By the time he was done he knew the name of your first grade crush, an incident where you kicked your own self, and how old you were when you got your first cavity.
Likewise, he will already know if you’re crushing/dating someone. He’ll pretend he doesn’t know, but secretly do a background check.
OKay so this definitely happened on your first date out with your crush, you two went out for milkshakes when your phone started sounding like Saeyoung’s voice.
“HEY YOUNG MAN BOTH HANDS ON THE TABLE NOW!!!”
You both started SCREAMING and had to be told to shut up by the staff because what the hell, your phone was talking!
You screamed at him later on to mind his damn business
And god help whoever you were dating if they hurt you.
This man will go ballistic and start hacking their things like a crazy psycho
“DONT WORRY, GOD SEVEN WILL FIX THIS!!!!”
But seriously, this man adores you to the bottom of his heart. He’s made many mistakes in the past, but you will sure as hell not be another one of them. Anything you ask of him, he’ll gladly do!
V
V is a great guardian for those who don’t like pressure or stress. He’s so soothing and relaxing.
Hardly will ever raise his voice at you, and he practically never gets angry at you
He can’t see that well, but he seems to have a sixth sense that just makes him know where you are and when you are in danger.
He likes taking you out to more scenic ventures, maybe even get you into photography as well!!
He has so many pictures of you, you are like his favorite subject
He even made an exhibit just based on you, and after that, he got a lot of calls about who you were. He made sure they know that you are basically his child
He feels incredibly guilty you had to go through this whole mess. He really wishes nothing bad would happen and you just didn’t have to get involved, but you always encourage him and say you don’t mind, you met him because of it!
He melts and cries a bit later on
If you call him ‘dad’ he gets so happy, like he finally feels like he actually did something right for once
But occasionally he doubts himself and can get kinda stand-offish in fear of how he might hurt you later on
He doesn’t make the same mistakes this time, and he makes sure you can get the help you need. He’s not gonna allow you to hurt yourself or others, and he won’t enable negative behaviors.
He doesn’t talk about Rika to you. That was one of the worst moments in his life, and he thinks you’ll hate him because of it.
You don’t- and he wonders what he did to deserve you
V is not an idiot. He may be partially blind but oh honey, he WILL know if you are dating someone. Don’t ask how, he does.
He’s chill about it, but makes sure you understand what you are getting into. He’ll sit you down and start questioning you or your date’s intentions
It’s a side effect from his past with Rika, he doesn’t want you hurt, nor does he want you to hurt someone else.
He makes you have clear and concise boundaries
He’ll let you do as you please, just please, for everything holy in this world, let him know where you are and be back before 10.
If you get into a bad breakup he’s there to comfort you but also calls 707 to use his special skillset
I feel like V would use a lot of dad jokes. Like he doesn’t even know where it comes from and he’ll just say one, and 707 flips out.
Overall, just a calm dude who really loves you a lot. You’re allowed to grow and be your own person, but within some boundaries. He’ll stop at nothing to keep your smile.
Unknown/ Saeran
Okay so... he feels weird. You’re a child. A damn child.
He gets very conflicted because he gets flashbacks of how he was taken at a young age
He starts off as incredibly scary, staring you down to make you fear for your life, but you notice right away he’s become...softer
If anything, now he feels guilty. You were nice to him, even though he did all these things to you...
Saeran becomes a guard dog to you, watching over you like a hawk.
As thanks, sometimes you would make him sweets
He loves them a lot, they’re now his favorite things
Pretty soon, a friendship begins to form, and then a feeling of guardianship over you.
He’s noticeably a lot nicer and softer to you, he’ll be cussing out his brother in one moment but then if you ask him for something, he’ll stop and bend down to your level and answer you.
Saeyoung finds this incredibly hilarious and nice
Saeran feels a lot better having you around. He feels a lot safer and happier, and knowing that you are safe and happy makes him even more excited.
He likes gardens, so he takes you to them a lot, and he even decided to start one with you
On special days, or days when you are feeling down, he’ll get you a special bouquet of flowers with different meanings to cheer you up!
Baking is also a special hobby between you two. Sweets in general are where you two bond, so occasionally you two go out and try different sweet shops, cafes, or parlors.
You two always rank your fave desserts and places
Do not, I repeat, do NOT tell him about/mention/ or even THINK of dating. He’ll probably beat the crap out of whoever you’re dating because, ‘they are not worth it’
Very strict and will throw hands with anyone checking you out- he’s like an angry dog
Oh dear, if your date makes you sad or upset they will be dead. Saeran will take no shit if they made you frown, and they better start praying for their safety.
You and Saeyoung have to hold him back before he murders your date
He still has his anxious moments where his past may catch up and he’ll freak out, but you are one of the few that can easily coax him out of it. He’d never hurt you at all
If you refer to him as ‘dad’ I think he might feel his heart flutter but also feel nervous...what if he becomes like his dad? What if he hurts you or can’t protect you?
He’ll definitely teach you self-defense but Saeyoung will step in when he tries to teach you how to use a pistol because ‘SAERAN THEY’RE 16, DO NOT DO THAT!!!!’
He has his days when he’s more lax about you, but also has days when he’s breathing down your neck
It’ll take him a long time to be considered a ‘good’ guardian, please be patient, and gently let him know how he should improve.
He’s not good at dealing with your emotions. All he knows how to do is punch whatever made you feel sad, but he quickly learns he can’t do that, and takes advice from all the RFA to help you.
You can fight me but he probably has bought some guidebooks or pamphlets to try and learn to take care of you, and he’s LOST.
“So to comfort them, I hug them...then ask how they’re feeling? Okay, but then it says they might want space? So how do I know? IT DOESN’T EVEN SAY WHEN! WHAT THE HELL? WHAT A WASTE OF MY DAMN MONEY!” He chucks it across the room before promptly picking it up and trying to read it again
He sees a lot of shows and tries to do stereotypical ‘family’ things, but quickly realizes that neither of you are enjoying it and he breathes a sigh of relief because holy hell that made him so uncomfortable.
You both are pretty blunt with what you feel so you’re both on the same page, and try to work it accordingly.
Okay on occasion he’s got you outfits that are similar to his so you both can match and he loves it so much
The most awkward dad jokes. EVER. You’ll be like, ‘hey I’m hungry’, and he’ll remember that he read on a parenting website that dad jokes make your connection stronger or something, so he’ll murmur, ‘hi hungry, I’m dad’. You didn’t know whether to laugh or cry because he was in physical pain after saying that.
You both got a lot to work on, but he tries. Really. And he’s so happy he met you, and he’ll make sure you grow up with a better childhood than he did. Nothing is too big or too small for him to do.

games/routes i’ve played + my favourites
..to be updated
*send me recommendations if you’d like!
(if i give a game a bad rating, it’s just my opinion. you don’t have to agree with me)
MysticMessenger :
routes: Zen, Yoosung, 707, and Jumin Han
my favourite: definitely Jumin Han! he’s more of an unpopular choice, and I see why, but, I love him. his story was borderline obsessive at some points, and im not going to try and defend his weird behaviour, but there was a reason for it. he got everything he wanted as a kid expect for the love of another person, which is why he treasured Elisabeth the 3rd so much, because in a way, she was the only one there for him. but, then after he gets close to the mc, and then Elisabeth goes missing, he sees the mc as the same type of warmth. he definitely could’ve been more casual about his approaches, and less weird about everything, but I see where it’s coming from. the boy’s got some trauma. and, I mean, the mc is kind and stays with him, understands him, and he opens up to her and falls in love with her. I don’t think it’s entirely unrealistic for an otome game. his character development was great. but, enough of Jumin. this is a really well thought out game. the storyline is impeccable, and the characters are all diverse enough that it’s usually not that much trouble picking one guy/girl over the other. but, this game is really heavily dependent on the emotional labour aspects of the boys, which I don’t like. if you want someone’s route, you had to constantly be excited for them and constantly support them and no one else. a prime example being zen’s route, which is still a great route from experience, but there’s too much flattery in the initial stages, if you ask me. also, I don’t have the energy to get up at 3am for a chatroom, sorry Jaehee.
my rating: 7 or 8/10
The Arcana :
routes: asra, julian, and nadia (portia, lucio, and muriel are current)
my favourite: Asra! this magician and his snake familiar got my attention pretty fast, and his heartbreaking past with the mc just sealed the deal for me. his route is so romantic and touching, but has a lot of action. it was honestly perfect. the devs did a great job with the writing of the game, and the storyline is, again, impeccable. I honestly cried when I found out about Asra’s history with the apprentice, and lemme tell you that is a DIFFERENT type of pain.
my rating: 10/10
+Lost Island :
route: ryo tsuzuki
my favourite: none. ryo was definitely eye candy and a perfect guy, but he was the only route I played, and frankly, was the last. the only good things about this game were the action scenes, which were admittedly heart-wrenching since the game took place on a zombie infested island. But otherwise I hate this game with a burning passion, and will frankly be seeing it down in Dante’s inferno, in the depths of hell with every other shall we date game. It was my first otome game, I found it when I was 11 - just out of the womb lmao - and I was so entranced that I ended up spending sixty Fucking dollars on this game!!! I regret it deeply to this day, because the game was horrible. it moved so fast, it was pretty predictable (and I spent the sixty dollars to move it along even though when I look back at it the game exposed itself so many times??) it was so weird. after we cured the strange virus that his ‘missing’ sociopath scientist father created with an antidote hidden in Ryo’s blood and left the zombie infested island, he proposed to me in a bush! a bush! he popped the question in a bush, beat that level of romance ladies and gentlemen. and, I know now that I type it out it some points sound like a pretty good plot, but trust me, don’t let that fool you. I will argue with you about this until my death. and not to mention this bitch was a horny little shit in the middle of what the characters thought was the zombie apocalypse. all in all this game is the bane of my existence, thank you (I’m sorry this is so dramatic lmao)
my rating: -100000/10
Dangerous fellows :
routes: Zion, Harry, Eugene, Ethan, and Lawrence
my favourite: Zion! omg what a cutie, still highkey owns my heart. he’s your run of the mill rich kid that eventually rebelled, but his sense of humour and toughness is what won me over. His heartfelt promises and uncharacteristic seriousness in the face of danger were my favourite parts. he’s so adorable and owns all my uwus. I’d fight someone for this boy. this was the game the birthed this account a couple of months ago, and I still love it.
my rating: 10/10
Lost Alice :
route: Owen Chester
my favourite: I know this technically doesn’t really count, but I did like the joker! I never played his route, and he wasn’t involved in Owen’s route much, but what little I saw of him was great.  He was joking, vague, and helped Alice out a lot as a guide in the very beginning. if I had the courage to even download this godforsaken game again I’d definitely go for him! as for Owen’s route, I honestly didn’t like it at all. all of these games have a timeline, and the end point is always the main characters fucking. like?? not the thing where you randomly travel back and forwards in time? no, just both living in her world and ignoring it, because, me and bae are official now and that’s all that matters 🤪 plus, classically, he was like the formal king trying to seduce her for funsies and then accidentally falling for her.
my rating: 0/10
Modern Cinderella :
route: Rudolf Oak
my favourite: ..I didn’t really have one. I’m sorry this was a shall we date game, need I say more? the ’stoic’ restaurant owner that ’never opens up to people’ saw me stand up for myself literally once and suddenly his entire worldview of me has changed, and surprise surprise, he wants to date me. This was one of the worst ones I’ve ever played. I really had no favourite, except maybe for the guy that let me stay in his apartment in the beginning of the game and gave me food after he found me in the rain 🤧
my rating: 0/10
Ikemen Sengoku :
route: Hideyoshi, Yukimura, Nobunaga, Sasuke, Shingen, Masamune, Kenshin (mitsunari is current)
my favourite: yukimuraaa, yukimuraa, that bean. i can’t explain very well it but I love him :((. i really loved Mitsuhide, but I liked masamune too! I love masamune’s attitude atowards the mc, and his nickname and nonchalance around her (in sasuke’s route where he hesitated on killing him just because the mc yelled ‘stop!’ out of fear?? 🤧🤧), and I also love mitsuhide’s slightly threatening but caring personality, and that he’s deadly smart! you can’t hide anything from that man lol. Plus the mc describes him as a a good person even in hideyoshi’s route, which I respect. (ugh the devs knew he would be too powerful with a route) but, I didn’t like that after you finish a route, your intimacy is completely reset. like :(( it disheartens me in playing a little because it takes days to build up grace, and im not about to go scouring on those offer pages, because i’m not willing to put myself through that again after dangerous fellows. the formatting is a little wack too, but it’s still nice and something to look past, since the game is pretty great otherwise, and it’s a little older. I love almost all of the characters, (the ones I don’t are for personal reasons, not because they’re bad characters or anything) and I don’t think its cringey at all! it’s honestly a great game altogether.
my rating: 9/10
Ikemen Revolution:
routes: fenrir, edgar, ray, kyle, sirius, lancelot, luka, jonah, loki, and zero (all, idk if I forgot one lol)
my favourite: every time I see edgar my heart goes boom!! I started playing his route literally like a week ago and god, this boy deserves the world. I love his gentlemanly personality and his habit of joking around and giving vague statements or warnings when in reality, he’s very sweet and kind. you’ll never know what he’s thinking, and I love that I constantly have the chance to surprise him when no one else ever does. though, I really love my boy Kyle at the same time. he’s a real one 😤 I really like how the devs handled the Alice in wonderland concept! I’ve seen that go wrong a few times, so this was refreshing. again, with the ikemen games, they’re never really fast paced or cringey in the way some other games are. it takes the mc usually at least 13 chapters to even admit to themselves that they’re crushing on the guy, which I like. it’s more realistic then, say, the nightmare harlem (see other review). also the plot design, the character depth, uGh, as a writer, don’t even get me STARTED. it’s all amazing. and!! the intimacy doesn’t reset, so I can basically just blaze through all of the intimacy checks right away. The only thing I maybe don’t like about this game is about how long it takes to complete one route. it may take you a shorter amount of time to pay, but I always play free
my rating: 9 or 10/10
Mystic Code:
routes: cold case, lost case, happy ending: case closed, wrong suspect (2), true ending
my favourite: this technically isn’t an otome game. I admittedly didn’t really like this game as much as I liked dangerous fellows, but it was still really good! I just thought dangerous fellows’s story was a little better, and there’s obviously the added bonus of being able to romance any of the main characters. You couldn’t romance any of the characters in mystic code, and while the story made up for that a lot, I was still a little disappointed. Plus, romancing the characters could‘ve really made for a more complex storyline.. 👀 I won’t give any spoilers,, but the story really did make up for it for the most part. but, I guarantee you that if you could play routes, I’d choose eliot. he’s got that confident and playful but serious and smart personality I fall into every time, and I would’ve liked to get a chance to see more sides to that.
my rating: 8/10
Love and Producer (Mr Love: Queen’s Choice):
routes: —
my favourite: ohoho do I have a story about this one. i was going through pinterest one day a few weeks ago when I came across this picture. and idk, something about it had me starstruck, so I looked for what the image was from and found out that it was from a chinese otome game! at the time, I didn’t know that there was an english version out, so I was really disappointed when I found out I couldn’t play it. but!! through a dangerous fellows account I follow on instagram, I downloaded this game by chance and realised it was the same game under a different name. now, I was completely right to be starstruck, because I love Gavin, he’s amazing! He and the mc were classmates in high school, and they have this ~thing~ that happened in the past that’s vaguely talked about, which is a moment with the wind and ginkgo leaves (which is super nice and romantic af, since he has a wind evol) and I think there’s other parts, but I won’t give away any more spoilers that aren’t obvious and/or easily accessible. the only thing I maybe have wrong with this games that the cliffhangers it can leave you off on before it tells you to level up more are emotionally shattering, and the karma levels/movie shootings are a little annoying, but they’re easily fixable and easy to pass if you snoop around the game a little and figure out how it works. I also really like how though there are no technical routes, each “romance” with the other the guys is completely plausible and any could be endgame easily.
(+ damn, Gavin’s one main line ‘as long as you’re in the wind, I’ll find you.’ is really nice and romantic to me also, since there’s another line from a book I love that’s “I’ll be your map. Where you go, I go.” but idk maybe i’m just biased)
my rating: 9/10
The Princess Closet:
route: reo
my favourite: honestly, I hated this game, so I didn’t really have a favourite. It sounds dramatic, but it’s really true. I was snooping through the App Store one night around midnight looking for a new otome game, and I stumbled upon this one with pretty great reviews. So I, the otome hoe that I am, was like ‘okay fuck it’ and downloaded it. Basically, the game’s storyline is this guy comes up to you and is like ‘you’re my princess, I finally found you’ and the mc is like ‘wtf are you talking about’ but is flattered and sorta curious so she goes back to his studio where she agrees to become a model. like?? girl what?? he could’ve taken you into a back alley and killed you, but she didn’t care. then, in the first chapter, she does her first modelling job then the main guy (reo, also the fashion designer) comes up to her, basically pins her against the wall and is like ‘I knew you were perfect, but I didn’t imagine this. Now, since I always get what I want, I’ll have to make you mine because I’ve taken interest in you.” like,, okay bro. I deleted the app after that. if you like that kind of stuff, that’s fine, but it seems too outright and cringe to me. plus, this isn’t really relevant but I didn’t really like the formatting.
my rating: 0/10
Ikemen Vampire:
route: Napoleon, Arthur, Leonardo, Mozart, Vincent (double clear for both Arthur and Napoleon!)
my favourite: oh my god, this game finally came out with an English version and I’m so excited! I barely knew anything about this game before this morning, but it’s seriously good. I was sceptical in downloading it at first though, because vampire related things usually come out in a fashion similar to something like diabolik lovers, but this blew my expectations out of the water. the writing is amazing, and had me literally stopping between moments and being all nerdy about it. plus, all of the characters are based on real people of history, and I like that part. It’s a really cool idea. but the best part!! all of the characters are more or less like normal people. I’m not sure if that exactly makes sense, but it’s relief to me. I’m also really thrilled about some of the stories in the game. like, bonaparte is a half vampire?? nice, I wanna know more! you have to be da vinci’s fake lover?? coolio. but, I’m kinda bummed that there aren’t more routes out. Issac Newton, Napoleon Bonaparte, Arthur Conan Doyle, and Theodorus Van Gogh are definitely my favourites,(Theo is best boy 😤✊🏻) and I would’ve liked to play other routes too, but that’s totally good, because games are hard work.
my rating: 10/10
THE NIFLHEIM+:
route: Leo
my favourite: I gotta say, this wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. And that’s surprising, since this is a shall we date game. The storyline was pretty good, sorta like sleeping beauty with a twist, and while it was really cringey at some parts, it wasn’t too overbearing in my opinion. There’s a variety of characters to romance, and while they all have pretty stereotypical personalities in some way, it was still somewhat enjoyable to play. Though, I didn’t finish the game because I didn’t like the route I was playing, the way it was set up or the ticket system was kinda weird (one every 4 hours. you could log in once every month and it would say ‘welcome to your fourth day!’ even if it’s been four months in reality) if I did another route, though, it would probably be Nick, because his route seemed fun from the preview.
my rating: 3 or 4/10
Nightmare Harlem:
route: oswald
my favourite: honestly, my favourite was still Oswald. (though it’s a close second to Lucas, who never entered the room in any way other than the window) he was a sweet bean and didn’t deserve any of the shit any of the other suitors gave him. now that I think about it, the plot is creepily similar to ikemen vampire’s. the mc is walking home one night when a portal opens up under a red moon that takes her to a mansion full of vampires! but, maybe that’s just an overused plot. this is from the same company as princess closet, but I think it’s a little better. don’t get me wrong, though, it was still cringe to the max. the mc insisted on helping with work around the mansion exchange for letting her stay there until that portal opened again (hello ikemen??) and the main guy was like ‘pfft sure’ and that’s where she met oswald, the gardener.  but, the main thing that turned me off of this game was how fast the romance came. she spent a day outside with him, talking about whatever, then decided she liked the time she was with him and was disheartened when he had to leave. you know, totally not like any kind of normal friendly relationship at all. and after that she was like ‘oh shit what’s this feeling in my chest’ when she saw him at dinner. like, I get the quick crush thing but she’s all like “am I falling in love??/?” and to make it BETTER the next day he’s like ‘oh shit what’s this feeling in my chest’ after, again, spending a day with her and doing nothing more but exchanging smiles otherwise. and the other guys are in on it instantly too! one of them even tries to set them up! and I just- I couldn’t take it seriously after a while.
my rating: 3/10
Ayakashi: romance reborn:
route: Koga
my favourite: honestly, how to choose?? At first, I really liked Ginnojo and Toichiro, but after playing for a bit, Koga and his stupid dice swept me off my feet. I’m only at chapter 20 since I started playing a few days ago, but I can already tell that koga is very friendly and jokes around a lot, and the moment she ever has a problem he’s there to help her. he’s an oni ogre ayakashi, and I also think that’s super cool tbh. the game itself is sort of like mr love queen’s choice in the way that you get cards and have to level them up and that corresponds to how well you do in the game, but there are more romance aspects to this game than mlqc. after you finish book one (comprised of 50 chapters) it branches off into the 4 routes that are available to play. (Koga the oni ogre ayakashi, Kuya the tengu ayakashi, Ginnojo the Mizuchi dragon ayakashi, and Aoi the satori seer) I think it’s a really interesting and fun game, but I don’t like that the only way you can get keys to play the main chapters is through patrols, which can get repetitive, especially when you can only play the same 5 or so locations before the lp cost is more.
my rating: 9/10
Honey Magazine:
game/route: wanted: son in law // taiga takajo
my favourite: I should really change this label ^^. Honey magasine is an otome app that’s comprised of many stories that you can play at once. honestly, I didn’t have high hopes for this one based on the look of it, but I was pleasantly surprised. I am super super super super picky when it comes to otome games, but this one genuinely could’ve been worse. in the story I played, a journalist was invited to her billionaire grandfather’s estate to pick out a fiancé, but that was unbeknownst to her, seeing as this was the first time she’d talked to her grandfather since she was 5 years old. she went through the whole night meeting these different guys before she had to choose one the next day. I didn’t like this part because I probably got one interaction with each character max, and really didn’t get to go very deep into any of them. in the end, I chose Taiga, the heir to a fortune and the CEO of his own company at the ripe age of his early 20-somethings. honestly I only picked him because he kinda looks like Yuta from nct and since I didn’t really like any of the others, I had nothing to lose lol. He’s emotionless and very cold but subtly caring, and this drives the mc crazy as he claims that he’ll just parade around with her if he needs to and act in front of other people. she promises that she’ll make him fall in love with her, and well, the rest is history. I won’t get into his route much, but, I think it’s about what you would expect from a situation like this, not that it would ever happen. it’s not terrible, and I think that if someone had paid a little more attention to it it could’ve been great, not just okay.
my rating: 4/10
Twilight School:
route: Wade
my favourite: this game was actually recommended to me by a follower, and honestly, I do really like it. but, it’s a good thing that I liked Wade, because I’m not the biggest fan of either Rylan or Hogan. I’ve never liked the idea of werewolves, and Rylan is just the epitome of twilight meets vampire diaries to me. (even though neither of them really have to do with werewolves lol) and, hogan, idk. he’s got a nice personality, but I’m not really interested in him beyond that. Wade reminds me of Eugene, to be honest. that’s not why I like him, but I just thought I should get the observation out there. what I don’t like about this game is the gem system. yes, I wanted to kiss wade’s hand when he was sitting next to me after I woke up from being sick, but could I?? no. and I’m still disappointed about it, thank you very much. I also don’t really like the scene where they all fight over her in front of her. like, uh, can I get a waffle?? can I PLEASE get a waffle? but overall yes! it’s a very good game and I love the storyline and mystery.
Samurai Love Ballad Party:
route: yukimura sanada
my favourite: (i keep mixing up the name smh) is every yukimura character an absolute sweetheart?? because it sure seems like it. I found out about this game though a discord server I’m in, and honestly, from the looks of it, my expectations were low. Format is a big part of an otome game, and this one is obviously old, and that kind of dimmed my likeness a bit. But, the story is really fun. Kinda cringey, but still fun. I had no idea it was also in the sengoku era, so that was a fun surprise. I played the prologue laughing and joking around the entire time, and it was honestly really fun. i knew I liked yukimura from the moment he appeared, and chose his route immediately when I could. One thing though, this doesn’t bother me, I just think it’s kinda funny, is that the choices you make actually determine a good or bad ending rather than the romantic or dramatic I’m used to. So, seeing that ‘you could’ve chosen better...’ message after a chapter is always refreshing lol. (I get those a lot because I literally have 2 brain cells 🗿)
overall rating: 6/10
Obey me!:
route: —
favourites: THIS IS A SHALL WE DATE GAME?? it blows my mind, because I absolutely love this game but normally hate swd games (see lost island for reference lmao) the format is cute and modern and easy to navigate, but isn’t in your face bright and not too bland either. there’s a lot of options to go for, like the random calls and messages you get throughout the day plus the person you want to choose from majolish and display on the home screen has little things to say to you ever 15 seconds or so. the ap/stamina system is similar to ayakashi, so it was refreshing to already know how to deal with that, and I do like how while it goes fast, it doesn’t take much to regen. The actual story function is similar to that of mlqc, though, with the mission and then story part. There are no actual routes in the game as of right now, but the game is still being updated, so there might be in the future when the storyline is complete! I really hope there is, because I totally wanna do some of their routes like 😳 My favourite at first was Mammon, because from the get-go he’s the energetic dumbass that’s always by your side like fenrir and I just appreciated that, especially when I didn’t know any of the other characters yet. but then I actually got into the game more and while I still do like mammon, it’s a bit less and I do have some new favourites now. first off is Lucifer, who I really was neutral with most of the time (which shouldn’t have been the case considering he threatened/tried to kill the mc at least twice lmao) but yeah, sometime along the way I went from 😶😶😶 to 🥰🥰🥰 and that was that. Second is probably either Satan or Belphegor because they’re just both adorable and I like belphegor’s voice and sense of humour and satan’s love for books and considerate personality
favourite: Lucifer
CURRENTLY PLAYING: mr love queen’s choice, ikemen sengoku (mitsunari), obey me!

Warnings: Spoops and elixir +_+
“Are you sure this is okay?”
Seven’s heart jumped at her whisper. He talked to her on the phone many times before, and yet, without the static filtering her voice, everything was different. The CCTV’s low quality, grainy veil was lifted, and there she was: flesh, blood, and soft warmth walking beside him through the dark and decrepit hallway.
“What do you mean? It’s a haunted house! It’s made to walk in and explore.” So why was Seven’s heart beating so fast? It wasn’t the rotting wood and peeling wallpaper along with the bevy of spider webs dangling above that put him on edge. It wasn’t the dust dancing in the ghoulish glow cast from several lanterns or the gloomy symphony of cicadas and crickets seeping in through the broken windows either. Not even the way the house groaned in agony with every footstep was the culprit.
It started when he picked her up from the apartment. For obvious reasons, he had been nominated to escort the lovely party coordinator to the RFA’s night of Halloween fun and spooks. Spooks indeed. From the moment she answered the door, his stomach twisted itself in knots.
Was his brain malfunctioning?
“Or is there haunted house etiquette I’m not aware of?” He put his hands on his hips in a dramatic stance.
“Don’t you think it’s weird there was no one to let us in? You walked in on your own.” She huffed and folded her arms with a pout. The gesture was arguably unbefitting of her princess costume, yet the frilly dress and tiara was perfect for the lovable Princess of the RFA.
Seven shrugged. “Didn’t Jumin pick out this place? He probably wanted something authentic and spoopy. OooOOOOooo~” He wiggled his yellow, gloved fingers to emphasize the spoop factor.
“. . .we could’ve waited for the others.“ Her lips twitched as she muffled a chuckle.
“What?” Seven asked with a suspicious grin.
“You! I can’t take you seriously when you’re dressed like that!” She burst into a fit of giggles. “Why Ronald McDonald of all things?”
Seven guffawed. Her laughter was too contagious. “Cause I wanted to see everyone’s reaction! You think anyone’s scared of clowns? My bet is Zen~” He adjusted his curly, red wig and tugged at his bright, yellow jumpsuit.
“Zen!?” She wheezed.
“Yep. He hates cats, so why not clowns too~?” Seven bared his teeth. “Grrrr~ Fast food clown!” The white paint on his face, red lips and nose, minus the glasses made him look completely different. The RFA wouldn’t know what hit them. “Oh! Oh! Let’s hide and scare ‘em!”
“Alright. I’ll bet you five candies Zen won’t get scared.”
“Oh, you’re on!”
Holding back laughter, they decided to hide in a bedroom. A musty, revolting odor permeated the air. Dusty debris littered the floor and bed, along with fake blood spattered everywhere, most notably on the tattered curtains.
But there was something nostalgic. . .
Seven shook those thoughts away as the two huddled near a dust coated table. A picture frame sat on top of the grime. It held a photo of a woman. Her lips were curved into a coy smile and her eyes glittered. The part that stood out the most was her long, wavy hair. Oddly, she looked similar to the princess next to him.
He was about to point that out, but stopped short when he realized how close she stood, practically pressing against him. He shifted awkwardly, but then flinched and threw his arms around the princess when something slammed, causing her to shriek.
“Whoa! A-are you okay?” His face heated when he realized she clung to him for dear life.
“Was that the door?” She gasped and let go. “Do you think that’s them?”
“Maybe,” Seven whispered, reluctantly scooting back. “Let’s wait and see.”
And wait they did.
And wait.
And wait.
But nothing happened. “Are they even here?” She murmured.
Seven was starting to wonder why everything was so quiet. Yoosung should have been screaming, while Jaehee would have been constantly checking on Zen.
“Do you want to text them?” He asked.
“Well, my phone’s been acting up, so I don’t know if there’s something wrong with it, and since someone forgot their hoodie.” She cutely huffed. “We can’t use his phone!”
“Hey. . .!” Seven tried to keep his voice down. “This is the first time I’ve been without my lucky hoodie in. . .in. . years!” He put a hand to his heart and let out an agonized sigh. He kept everything in those oversized pockets. “You should still try texting.”
“I guess.” She grabbed her phone, but froze at the sound of a deep groan.
“Why have you returnnnnned?” The lights waned and flickered with every rasping syllable.
The spooks were starting? Seven’s face lit up. Was there a hidden sound system projecting the voice?
A girlish yelp snapped him from his thoughts. “Did you grab me!?”
“Wha-? No!” Seven lifted his hands as proof.
“You’re kidding. . .” Her face paled. “S-something grabbed me! Ugh!” She shimmied past him and stormed out of the room. “I’m done with this stupid creepy house! I’m waiting for the others!” Her voice echoed along with her stomping footsteps.
“Wait!” Seven followed after, scrambling not to trip over his giant red shoes.
She rushed to the front door and yanked the handles, but it wouldn’t open. “I-it’s stuck!”
“Let me.” Seven tried, causing them to shake and rattle, but the door still wouldn’t budge. With a frustrated grunt, he kicked the wood, but still nothing. Chills ran down his spine. This wasn’t right at all.
“I-I’m calling Jumin.” She shakily tapped her phone, and Seven moved closer to hear. The monotone call tone accompanied by her frantic breathing made for a nauseating combination. Seven held his breath, until a click sounded.
“Yes, this is Jumin Han speaking.”
Never in his life had he been happier to hear that deep, robotic voice.
“J-Jumin!” She gasped, voice wavering. “ Where are you guys?”
“I could ask the same question. We just finished purchasing everyone’s admission.”
“What are you talking about!? There were no tickets or anything and now we’re stuck in here!” She replied almost hysterically.
There was a pause and static. “I don’t quite understand. Security would not have let you two in without tickets. You and Luciel are-?”
“Trapped in this crazy house!” Between her frantic words, a static white noise grew louder, overpowering Jumin’s voice.
“Where- ou- ry-“
“Jumin? Are you still there? Jumin!” She nearly sobbed.
The static-filled garble morphed into a cackle. “Sorry, Princess, but the RFA won’t be able to help you this time~” A new voice interrupted with a menacing snicker.
Seven snatched up the phone. “Hey! Who the heck are you, and how do you know about the RFA?”
“Turn around and maybe you’ll find out~” He said before hanging up.
Dread filled Seven as he looked back. A figure stepped out of the shadows, slender and clad in black. His bleached hair glowed in the moonlight like a halo, yet his green eyes were wide and demonic. A mask covered his nose and mouth, but the folds revealed a manic smile underneath. Perhaps the most striking part was the chainsaw he held. With a high pitched cackle, he revved it up.
“If you want all of your limbs intact, you’d both better come with me. Without fighting.”
They had to surrender. The man shut off the chainsaw, but carried it as he led them into a empty room with a couple chairs and a bookshelf on the far wall. He ordered them to sit.
“Did you like my surprise?” Edgy chainsaw man grabbed some rope. “You should have seen your faces~” He cooed, before cracking up. “It was great!” He started with the princess, tying her torso to the chair. “You probably had no idea I hacked your GPS, right?” He moved on to her hands, holding her wrists together before tying them. “I was hoping to get you alone, but no matter.” His hands moved with gentle and skillful care, but Seven hated the way they lingered on her waist and brushed against her skin. The man soon finished and his eyes narrowed into something dangerous as he approached Seven.
“I won’t let you stop me from taking her to Paradise, clown boy.”
Seven held his knuckles together as the rope tightened around him in hopes of being able to get loose later. Anything to make up for his failure in protecting the princess.
“You’re the one who talked in that spooky voice and locked the door?” She snapped, legs shaking.
“Huh?” Their edgy captor tilted his head to the side. “Spooky voice?”
“Yeah,” Seven said. “You were like ooooOOOoo. . .Why did you returnnn or something like thaaaaat. . .”
The man raised an eyebrow before scowling. “You’re both trying to distract me. I’m not stupid, so stop belittling me!” he hissed before digging in his pocket. In an instant, his anger switched to unhinged glee when he pulled out a piece of candy wrapped in black foil. “Trick or treat, Princess~” He unwrapped it, revealing dark chocolate coated with teal frosting. “Now be a good girl and say ‘ahh~’” He cooed, however his eyes glinted with mischief as he leaned closer and pinched the chocolate between his long fingers.
Squeezing her eyes shut, she turned her head away. The man didn’t give up and pushed the chocolate against her mouth. “Nnf!” She whimpered as her lips formed a thin line.
“Hmm…” The edgy man cocked his head. “Don’t be scared. Once you eat this, you’ll never have to worry about anything ever again.”
Seven’s stomach churned.
“Here. We can share~” The man pulled down his mask, revealing a wide smirk. With a snicker, he popped the chocolate in his mouth, holding it between his teeth. He then set a hand on the chair’s arms and the other grabbed her face.
“Hey!” Seven’s blood boiled. “Don’t touch her!”
A muffled snicker escaped the edgy man as he dug his fingers into her cheeks, forcing her mouth open. The corners of his lips twitched into a victorious smirk, and his eyes shut as he leaned in, bringing the chocolate to her mouth.
Tumblr media
Nononono! With a panicked grunt, Seven wiggled and jerked, ignoring the burn of the rough braids.
“S-seh-ehn-!” she cried as the gap between her mouth and the chocolate shrank.
Seven’s struggled more as the rope loosened. A smoke bomb could distract the man, then Seven’s knife would cut the remaining ropes. His wrist ripped free! Fueled by adrenaline, he dug into his pocket and flung out-
Candy.
Just like his phone, all of his other trinkets were in his hoodie pockets.
The colorful array of sweets bounced off man’s tattooed shoulder, causing him to pause.. His eyes widened with awe, and the teal chocolate fell from his mouth just as everything went black.
“You dare taunt me with these two mennnnn?” That same voice from before wailed as a blue fireball appeared, casting a ghostly glow.
The princess screamed when her chair tipped backwards and scraped across the floor.
“No!” Seven clawed at the remaining ropes, but to avail. He was useless.
The chair slammed backwards into the bookcase and her legs flailed upwards. “H-h-help mee-ee-eee!” Her shriek came out bumpy as the bookshelf spun, pushing her to the other side with a loud slam.
“Give her back! ” Edgy chainsaw man chased after her, but crashed into the bookcase. “She’s mine!” He pounded and kicked at the wood, causing several books to fall.
The fireball vanished, leaving them shrouded in inky darkness. Seven squinted as his eyes adjusted to the blackness. The edgy man fell to his knees, fingers gripping his hair. Shallow, frantic breaths filled the air.
“Are you. . .afraid of the dark?” Seven whispered.
“No!” The man snapped. Stray strands of moonlight illuminated his pale face. “This wasn’t supposed to happen. . .Sav. . .ior. . .” He babbled to himself.
“H-hey.” Seven cleared his throat. “Uh. If you untie me, then we can save her together.”
The man pulled his mask back on before narrowing his eyes. “And why shouldn’t I kill you, clown boy?”
“B-because,” Seven blurted the first thing that came to mind. “You can have all my candy. They’re all limited edition and rare. Don’t ask where I got them!” He was rambling, but needed to survive. For her sake.
The man eyed the candies on the floor. “. . .Fine.”
Chainsaw man cut Seven’s ropes and the two inspected the bookshelf. It was clearly a trapdoor they couldn’t activate. Did it only work with ghosts? “What about your chainsaw?” Seven asked.
“Good thinking, clown boy!” The man’s eyes glowed with violent glee, and with a cheerful snicker, he grabbed his chainsaw and shoved Seven out of the way before revving it. His laughter erupted into manic cackles as he cut into the wood. A cloud of sawdust filled the air while a hole formed and grew. “You messed with the wrong people, ghost!” He kicked  down the rest of the wood, revealing a large room with a fireplace. There the captured princess sat, still tied to the chair, but safe.
A frustrated growl came from a willowy shadow bathed in a blue glow. The ghost. “It wasn’t enough for you to leave me for dead, but now you taunt me with these mennn?” He pointed a bony finger at Seven and the chainsaw man. “Perhaps once you suffer and die like I did, I’ll able to move on to the after lifffffe.” A humorless chuckled rumbled as he snapped his fingers. The fireplace erupted to life with an inferno of blue fire.
She gasped and flailed against the ropes when her chair scooted backwards. “No! Please!” Her scream was almost as high pitched as the scape of the chair against the wood.
“No!” Seven barreled past chainsaw man and tackled  the chair away from the blazing fires. Pain shot up his knee upon landing, but he didn’t care. “Are you okay!?”
Her chest heaved and her face glistened with sweat, but she smiled and nodded.
Seven’s insides tingled with a fuzzy warmth. “It’s okay now,” he whispered. “You’re safe.” He brushed away a strand of hair from her face, but the buzz of the chainsaw interrupted him. With a wild cackle, chainsaw man swung at the ghost, but  stumbled and cursed when the weapon went through the ethereal being.
“I’ve had enough of thisss!” Smoke oozed from the ghost. “If these men will interfere, then so be it!” Several floating fireballs appeared throughout the room, causing the temperature to spike and the air to distort with heat. “I’ll burn down this entire place, taking all of you with me!”
“Please don’t!” Her eyes filled with tears. “This isn’t the answer! But. . . if you want, hurt me instead, not Seven and this other guy. They did nothing wrong!”
Seven’s lungs constricted. Why was she sacrificing herself? She was so kind hearted. Not someone who would abandon anyone.
Not someone like him.
“You’ve got the wrong person!” He shouted. “Your lover left you? That wasn’t her. She’d never do that! From the moment I first met her, she’s been nothing but sweet and caring. She listens to our problems and puts up with a lot of crap like chatrooms at three in the morning! I know without a doubt she’d never abandon or betray anyone!”
Her eyes grew watery as her expression softened. “Please believe me, I’m not who you think I am, but. . .I’m so sorry that happened. No one deserves to go through the pain you did. I-I wish I could help you. . .!” Her voice cracked and her lips quivered.
There was a pause and Seven was sure they were all going to die, but then the flames dwindled one by one. “I see,” the ghost’s voice softened. “Revenge may not be the answer. It’s strange.” He lifted a hand to his chest. “I feel. . .warm? Is this what moving on feels like? I wish I had met someone like you instead of that woman. Perhaps my life would have been much longer and happier.”
Seven’s heart flip flopped.
“Thank. . .you. . .” The ghost faded, leaving the three of them in the dark silence
Not wasting another moment, Seven untied her, before helping her stand. His cheeks burst into flame when she hugged him tightly.
“Thank you so much for saving me!”
Seven returned the embrace. Why was it so hot in here? Slowly, his shoulders relaxed and he squeezed her tighter. “I-I don’t know what I would have done if something happened.”
“Seven,” she whispered as she pulled back.
He got lost in her eyes as their magnetic force tugged him closer. What was this feeling? Was this…? His lips parted and he closed his eyes.
Wailing sirens broke the spell.
Edgy chainsaw man cursed under his breath and shoved his hands into his candy filled pockets. “This is my cue to leave,” he stomped towards the nearest window. However, before he climbed out, he turned and burst into hysterical laughter. “I’ll come back and visit you soon, Princess~”
Seven joined in on the laughter. This edgy dude had a hilarious laugh. “Hey! I hope you visit me too! I’ll have more candy for you- Oh! And Honey Buddha Chips. You’ve gotta try those!”
The man jolted, then shrugged. “I guess you’d make a good Believer too, Clown Boy.” With that, he jumped out of the window as blue and red flashing lights filled the dark room.
“Guess, the cavalry came,” Seven chuckled.
She grinned and nodded. “The real question is if Jumin was the one who sent them. Wanna change our bet to that?”
“No way! I still wanna scare Zen-gwuh!” Seven sputtered in shock when she took his hand and tugged him towards the door with a sweet giggle. His pulse pounded in his ears louder than the sirens and for a split second, he thought he might faint.
“Happy Halloween, Seven~”
A/N: This was really fun to write. Honestly, it had been a lot longer, but I had to cut out several thousand words in order to fit the zine's wordcount;;; Still, I think tightening it was for the better. I also couldn't resist adding Unknown. From the moment I applied to the zine, i knew I wanted to write something with Unknown and a haunted house +_+ The elixir chocolate scene was sjfkdsjfkdsfj yum +_+
Anyways, am I the only one that remembers those old Ronald McDonald cartoons? The 90's ones? That's where I got the title from. Does anyone remember the haunted house episode? Good times lol (Seriously. Let me know if you remember it, because nobody in the zine server did sjflksfjdsjfds)

Ciaossu!! Which flames do you think the Mysme crew has? I feel like Jumin with his whole "control of his own mind" thing is a solid candidate to have mist flames, though he could also be a very capable sky user... but what about the rest? And what use would they give it? Thanks!!
Oh, this is very, very interesting my lovely anon! Completely unexpected and absolutely wonderful request! I had a lot of fun thinking about this and I hope you’ll enjoy what I’ve ended up with in the end, though they probably differ from your own thoughts (which I’d love to hear)!
Yoosung
Yoosung is a Rain Flame user. His flames are very pure and very calming - just being around him when he uses them tends to mellow out most people and put them off of attacking. It’s funny because Yoosung himself is the opposite of mellow all the time - when he was first learning to use his Flames, he was very excitable and celebrated every victory happily. He panics easily but always tries his hardest - his resolve is never weak. But somehow, despite how contradictory it seems, his Rain Flame suits him and his combat style well and he’s a natural with them.
Though he does have box weapons, Yoosung actually likes to experiment with his flames and see what other uses he can find for them outside of the boxes. Rain infused weapons, freezing the flames, using them as a sneak attack - he’s not smart enough to come up with the ideas for these; it’s normally Seven who suggests them - but he finds the ideas interesting and works really hard to see if he can accomplish these feats.
Following the news of Rika’s death, Yoosung finds it really hard to maintain his Flame and can’t use it for any length of time, likely due to lacking any resolve. In addition to that, the Flame itself is warped and impure and instead of mellow contentment, it reeks of despair and depression.
Zen
Zen has a very strong, very pure Sun Flame. He absolutely cannot use any of the other flames, something that especially bothers him since Jumin can, though he won’t admit to that openly. Jumin likes to tease him about it as often as he can.
Zen’s Sun Flames are actually best used at healing. His monstrous recovery rate is really thanks to his strong Flames and he can heal from some incredibly rough injuries in a very short amount of time if he utilizes his Flame properly. His Flames also help him keep his body in the best form at all times and that, on top of his intense exercise routine, helps with how he actually fights.
Like most Suns, Zen is very active and likes to fight with his body instead of relying heavily on boxes. He has no problems with using his fists to fight or giving his body as a shield for one of the others if he has to. Just please don’t hit his face. Yes, he can heal it but that’s not the point. It’s almost sacrilegious, after all, to destroy such a work of art or so he says.
Jaehee
Jaehee is actually really odd in that she possesses two flames in equal amounts - that is, neither of her flames are pure and are both quite weak but they are both quite clearly there for her to use. It’s even more odd that her Flames are actually quite contradictory, since she possesses both Rain and Storm Flames.
Though her Flames are rather weak, Jaehee is very intelligent and determined. She experiments and works hard to find every way she can possibly make use of her Flames and brings out as much potential from them as she can. When working under Jumin’s orders, she tends to use her Rain Flames more though but uses her Storm Flames the most when it comes to things she really feels strongly about. She has yet to find a way to both at once.
Because neither of her Flames are very strong, Jaehee has problems opening Box weapons with animal partners and thus does not have one. She does tend to make use of storage boxes quite liberally though and has the most boxes of everyone, all very neatly categorized and decorated to enable her to pick the right one she needs at a seconds notice.
Jumin
Jumin has a Sky Flame and is the current head of the Han Family. However, the Han family has always had ties with V’s family and the two boys grew up together and are exceptionally close friends. Jumin is one of the very, very few Sky Flame users to have willingly submitted to another Sky Flame user. Not that he considers it submitting or being less than V. Not for a second. Jumin simply considers what he does and how he serves in the RFA under V as being a good friend to V. All Jumin’s resources and all of his power is at V’s disposal, something Jumin has always made clear to the other man and it frustrates poor Jumin when V won’t make use of them or refuses to allow Jumin to help him.
While Jumin’s Sky Flame can technically open any box, regardless of Flame type, he sees the best results with Lightning type boxes - if his Sky Flame wasn’t as strong as it is, his secondary flame usage of Lightning Flames would be much more pronounced than it is.
Elizabeth the Third is his box weapon, gifted to him from V. He has his box weapon out as much as he can since he adores Elizabeth and it may be because of this quirk of his that he has such impressive stamina when using his Flames.
Seven
Seven, much like Jaehee, is one of the the very known people to possess equal Flames of two different types. However, unlike Jaehee, both of Seven’s Flames are incredibly strong and he’s known as some kind of genius. He’s naturally gifted and intelligent enough to find new and creative ways to use his Flames. It’s a shame he next to never actually uses them for his own wants and needs. Mostly, he’s just selling his skills to the organization that owns him - the RFA is the only case where he fights for what he wants and it’s when his Flames reach their highest potential.
Seven is a talented illusionist and possesses two of the Hell Rings - the Segno and 666 Hell Rings. His skill as an illusionist is why his organization hasn’t done away with him yet and why they fight so hard to keep a hold of him.
Seven has an interest in the Flames themselves and will experiment and test them throughout his life. He’s a rather talented inventor as well and his inventions, especially once his brother starts helping him with them after they reconcile, will lead to revolutions in how the Flames are utilized.
V
Much like his childhood friend, V possesses a Sky Flame. At one point in time, V’s flame was incredibly pure and strong and he led the RFA as the Boss of a Family would, accepting everyone in the group and keeping harmony among them, as befitting of his flame. Benevolent and kind, everyone trusted and admired him to some extent. However, in the months prior to the whole Rika ordeal, Jumin noticed that V’s flame was sometimes cloudy and appeared to be slowly weakening. He kept it to himself and didn’t bother his friend about it. If Jihyun wanted to talk, he would and that was all, in Jumin’s mind.
After the news of Rika’s suicide was told to everyone, V became unable to ignite his Flames. At least, that’s what he told everyone. In truth, he can ignite them but they aren’t anywhere near pure anymore. He’s lost all his resolve, all his nerve, and his flames show just how messed up he’s become, in his opinion. They’re disgusting to him and he can’t bear the sight of them and so he simply refuses to use his Flames anymore. He was never really one to fight much anyways but the loss of his Flame is solely felt in the RFA. Though Jumin tries to fill in, their Flames are vastly different and it’s never the same.
Rika
Rika is an odd one in that she doesn’t fight with her primary flame. She’s got this weird complex about her flame, actually. She’s naturally a rain flame but she hates it. She despises the sight of her own natural flame and refuses to bring it out. Lucky for her, she did possess the ability to use a secondary Mist flame and it’s what she insists on using and trains to do better with.
Though her Mist flame was very muddy and weak to begin with, it seems that the worse things got for Rika, the clearer her Mist flame became. The more darkness she accumulates, the more twisted things she does, the clearer and more powerful her Flame becomes. She always says that she finds this Flame ‘much more beautiful’ than her original Rain flame and chooses to embrace it more fully.
Rika uses the Ossa Impressione Hell Ring and is a talented illusionist, as befitting her chosen Flame type. Jihyun noticed a marked change in her starting from the time she started wearing the ring and tried on several occasions to get her to stop using it but she refused. We can all guess how this story turned out.
Saeran
Since it’s been stated canonically that flame types do tend to run in families, I also see Saeran as being a Mist Flame. However, I also see him as having a really strong secondary flame, to the point where his dominant flame tends to change depending on which ‘side’ of himself is most present at the time. Ray has a stronger Mist flame while Unknown has a stronger Lightning Flame.
However, neither of his flames are anywhere near pure. When he was a child, his flames were murky and very weak and though he’s strengthened them as he’s aged (though definitely not in the right way), they are very unstable and he has problems properly drawing out the full characteristics of either flame and using them properly. It won’t be until he clears up his ‘issues’ that Saeran’s flames become more pure and he’ll be able to better control them.
Because of his difficulties with his flames, Saeran doesn’t use them to fight if he can help it. He’s found lots of ways to still fight and win against opponents using flames without ever using his own. Even when his flames begin to purify though, he finds them hard to get used to using and will avoid a box weapon for as long as he can (the latter definitely has to do with some trust issues he’s still working on).
Vanderwood
Vanderwood is constantly surrounded by idiots and constantly wondering how he got himself into whatever situation they’re all involved in. However, he’ll help out as he can, if he’s in the right place and he’s asked the right way. This moody Cloud won’t join anything, not even if asked properly but he will still protect and care for those few he lets into his life, if in his own odd little ways.
Vanderwood’s cloud flame is really pure but he hardly ever uses it. He refuses to use his flames for his work and will only use them to fight for things he actually chooses to care about. That being said, he’s quite smart and talented and is proficient with a handful of the other flames, though his flames for those are much less pure and are weak enough to just be able to use a box weapon properly but not to its full advantage. Still, somehow he seems to be able to do his job properly working that way.
Vanderwood does have a box weapon all his own though, but he hides it away carefully and it doesn’t get used often. Seven’s only seen it once, the one time Vanderwood saved his life, even against orders. His box animal takes the form of twin Dobermans, with collars made of cloud flames. They pull out and absorb the flames of anyone unlucky enough to touch them.
