You walked down the streets looking for John B and Sarah. You, Pope, JJ, and Kiara decided to split up to look for them once the four of you got the location you knew they were at. You knew they were in this location, you just didn’t know where.
You knew the Cameron’s has a vacation house here so you figured you could go check it out there to see if they were there. You wanted to get to Sarah and John B before the police did because, even though John B was innocent… it would not go down well.
You were just hoping the police didn’t find them yet. Then the four of you would have to come up with a new plan.
Tumblr media
Once you got to the Cameron’s vacation house you looked around. It seemed like it would be hard to get in and Ward Cameron probably had some type of system set up to see if anyone broke in.
You saw a hotel near by so you decided to walk down there to see if maybe they were hiding there. You just wanted to find them. You were scared of what could happen to them here. People here also knew about John B.
You were looking around when you ran into someone.
“I- sorry..” You mumbled and started to walk by when they grabbed your wrist. You looked back at them. It was a girl. She had black hair and beautiful brown eyes. You looked at her confused to why she stopped you.
“You seem like you’re looking for someone. Do they happen to be a brunette boy and a blonde girl?” She asked.
“Yeah actually, Sarah Cameron and John B Routledge.. do you know them?” You asked.
“I know where they are.” The girl said. “I could tell you.” She said.
“Well how do I know I can trust you, I don’t even know your name.” You said.
“Names Cleo.” She said. Cleo.. that was a really nice name.
“I’m y/n.” You said. “And if you honestly know where they are then, can you please tell me?” You asked.
“Depends. What do I get in return?” She asked.
“What do you mean?” You corked a brow.
“Well I know about your friend John B. A murderer.” She said.
“He’s not a killer.” You said.
“Either way, I’m telling you important information that I could just tell the police. If I tell you, what will you give me in return?” Cleo asked.
“I- I don’t know. If you’re wanting money I don’t have any.” You said.
“Well.. I have an idea of something we could arrange.” She said, a smirk spreading across her face.
“And what would that be?” You asked.
“Well… I’ll tell you where your friends are if… you let me have a taste of that pussy.” She said pointing to your legs.
“I- excuse me?” You corked your brow. You couldn’t lie.. you liked the idea of this. Even though you didn’t know anything except for her name, she was hot. So, at the same time you did want to go along with this idea.
“You herd me.” Cleo said with a smirk.
“I mean… if that’s what it’s going to take to find Sarah and John B then… ok.” You nodded. Cleo smirked.
“Alright follow me.” She said and walked off. You followed her. She lead you to her boat and once they were inside she took you to a room that seemed like a bedroom. You walked in and she closed the door behind you.
“So, before we start.. you promise that you do actually know where Sarah and John B were?” You asked.
“Yes I promise. I wouldn’t lie to a pretty face like that.” Cleo said. You blushed looking away. She gently pushed you onto the bed so you were laying down. She then pulled off your shorts and panties. You felt a bit embarrassed to have your core exposed to someone you didn’t know but at the same time you loved it.
She got onto the bed and spread your legs then began to trail wet kisses up your thighs. You whined at the slow pace. She kept kissing up your thighs until she finally got to the place you ached for her.
She licked a long strip up your folds making you gasp and whimper. She smirked and then dived in. She began to massage your clit with her tongue making you moan out. You reached down and put your hands through her raven hair.
She gently bit your clit making you gasp. She smirked at your reaction and then opened your folds more with her thumbs and inserted her tongue into your pussy. She began to fuck you with her tongue making you moan more.
You kept one hand in her hair and the other hand was fisting the sheets. She went back up to your clit, working her magic with her tongue on your clit. As Cleo did so, she inserted two fingers into you without warning.
“Oh god!” You moaned out loudly as the pace of her fingers kept getting faster. You threw your head back. You felt that familiar knot bubbling in your stomach and you clenched around her fingers, signaling her that you were close.
“You’re close pretty girl?” She asked with a smirk.
“Fuck.. I’m gonna cum!” You moaned out.
“Then cum for me.” She said putting her mouth back on your clit. With that you’re eyes rolled back and your legs began to tremble. You felt the wave of pleasure wash over you and you screwed your eyes closed.
Once you finally opened your eyes again you looked to see Cleo now sitting up with a smirk on her face. You sat up on your forearms and looked down. The sheets were soaked. Her chin and fingers were completely covered with your juices and even some got on her shirt.
“Holy shit.. who knew she was a squirter.” She said with a smirk. Your face went red. You had never squirted before. You had hooked up many times before but no one was ever able to make you squirt until now.
“We will keep this our little secret.” She said looking at you and she winked. You just nodded, your cheeks still red.
“Now come on, get dressed and cleaned up. I’ll take you to your friends.” Cleo said.

"You did so good for mommy, babygirl." Cleo said with a smirk. "Made mommy feel so good." She praised. She leaned down and planted a soft, loving kiss to your lips. "Since you made mommy feel so good, mommy is going to return the favor, okay babygirl?" Cleo asked. You just nodded and bit your lip softly. Cleo smirked and spread your legs. "Fuck, you're so wet, babygirl." She said as she smirked more.
You bit your lip and sat up on your elbows to get a better look at what Cleo was going to do to you. She began to slowly kiss along your thighs making you whimper and whine a little. After she did that for a few minutes, she finally reached the place where you ached for her the most. She licked a long strip up your folds making you whimper. Cleo did that a few more times before she finally just decided to dive right in.
You gasped and moaned out as she did so. Cleo was always so good at making you feel good. She always knew exactly what to do to make you become a moaning mess. Your eyes rolled as Cleo sucked on your clit roughly. You began to slowly roll your hips against Cleo's face but, she quickly stopped you, grabbing your hips tightly so you could no longer grind against her face.
You whined a little when she did so but, your whine was quickly cut off by a moan as Cleo's tongue plunged into your wet pussy. You let your head fall back onto the soft pillow under you as Cleo began to tongue fuck you. Her delicate fingers came up to rub your bundle of nerves as she continued to fuck your pussy with her tongue. Your eyes rolled slightly as your back arched off the bed a little.
You could feel that familiar knot building up inside of your stomach and you knew that you were going to cum any second now. You clenched around her, signaling to her that you were about to cum. Cleo pulled her tongue away from your pussy and quickly replaced it with her delicate fingers. "Come on, cum, cum for me babygirl." She said. With that your eyes rolled back and your legs began to tremble as you gushed all over her fingers.
"Fuck, you're so fucking pretty when you cum. My pretty babygirl." Cleo said. You smiled and bit your lip before looking away as your face heated up. She brought her fingers up to her mouth and then sucked your juices off her fingers. "Mmm.. you taste so good, baby." She said. You were laying there on the bed tired from your intense orgasm. "Come on, I'll take care of you." Cleo said with a smile before kissing your head softly.
a/n: I hope y'all enjoy this fic!

lovelorn (and nobody knows) [rafe cameron au fic] chapter 1
Tumblr media
Summary: Isla Carrera had planned for the summer before college to be focused on three things: helping out at her family's restaurant (the helpful daughter), preparing for college (the good student), and having fun with the Pogues (the loyal friend). But one fateful night, where her car breaks down and her rescuer is none other than Rafe Cameron, seems to send her summer down a path she didn't see coming--one teeming with a secret, illicit romance with the last person she expected. And if her friends and sister found out, Isla isn't sure they'll be so understanding, no matter what her feelings are.
Author's Note: I forgot how much I absolutely loathe writing summaries LOL but anyways! First chapter is here, let me know if y'all vibe with it. I had fun writing it and if you wanna see more, let me know! (And now I have to figure out if I remember linking everything on my blog since I haven't posted my writing on Tumblr in forever. . .)
Chapter 1
“Oh, no. No, no, no. Don’t do this to me, please.”
Isla Carrera’s pleading is in vain as the engine of her car sputters out of life, and there’s just enough juice left for her to pull over onto the side of the dirt road so she’s not stranded in the middle. Her grip on the steering wheel remains tight as she sits in silence, staring out onto the dark road only lit up by the two beams of her headlights. The small silver lining, if there is one, is that she knows exactly where she is, just a little ways away from a row of houses on Figure Eight. But right now, she’s surrounded by trees on a road that has no street lamps, the sky a blanket of black above her.
Her groan cuts through the silence, eyes squeezing shut as she rests her forehead against the steering wheel. She should have just slept over at John B’s house like her sister, Kie, decided to. But Isla’s covering another waitress at the restaurant early tomorrow, and she didn’t want to run late again or else her parents would rip her a new one. Kie’s shift wasn’t until later in the afternoon, so her sister was in no rush to get home. Now here Isla is, with a car that won’t turn over, still a fifteen minute drive away from her house.
“Fucking great,” she mutters, making sure her hazards are on and her phone is in her pocket before getting out of the car.
Though she knows nothing about cars, Isla pops open the hood and uses the flashlight on her phone. If she’s being honest, it all looks like a bunch of mechanical junk she has no idea how to work her way around. She’s not sure why she even bothers, so instead of wasting time, she unlocks her phone to find the number for a towing service.
A rumble of a car engine catches her attention, the kind that makes an annoying popping sound, and by the time she looks up and around the open top of her hood, she sees two guys hopping out of an old Ford truck. She vaguely recognizes them. Just by the look of them, they seem to be a couple of years older than her—and clearly from The Cut. Not that it matters, since her best friends are from the other side of the island, but not all of the people from The Cut are fond of those from Figure Eight, and vice versa. Isla and her sister, though they belong on the more privileged side of the island, prefer the freedom of The Cut.
None of that exactly matters right now, though.
Music cranks out of the car, but Isla can’t pay it any mind as unease creeps into her stomach when both sets of eyes land on her.
She’s a girl alone in the middle of a road at night, so Isla is immediately on high alert as the guys make their way towards her, slow but confident in a way that makes her feel like a prey. I don’t like this.
Alarm bells are ringing in her head as one of the guys in cargo shorts and a tank top shoots her a slimy grin. “Car trouble, sweetheart?”
Isla’s muscles tense. Yeah, nope. Not good. “Uh, no, all good,” she says, forcing some of that confidence into her voice that Kie is an expert at wielding.
The other one with darker hair hidden under a baseball cap asks, “You sure we can’t help?” His grin is anything but charming. “We’d be more than happy to help.”
They don’t stop their approach, and Isla’s mind begins running through different scenarios, her pulse beginning to quicken in panic she’s trying to keep at bay. There’s no one around to help, and she can’t depend on another car passing by and stopping to help—if they even would. She doesn’t want to lock herself in her car while she calls her dad or friends for help; the idea of sitting trapped makes her heart squeeze with dread.
“You can stop right there.” She doesn’t want to give into the fear that’s slithering through her veins, but she can’t stop the words from escaping her mouth, the crunch of the dirt beneath their shoes too daunting to ignore.
Her hand inches towards her back pocket where she had stashed her keys, fingers closing around the small can of pepper spray she’s got hooked in there. Isla has never had the unfortunate opportunity to use it before, but the vibes she’s getting right now—first time for everything.
“What’s the matter?” the first guy asks with a taunting tilt of his head, neither of them stopping their pace. “We’re only here to help.”
Yeah, fucking right. “Stop.” Her heart is pounding in her ears, taking a few steps back.
Creepy guy number two exchanges a look with number one. “See that, Dyl? Little Miss Kook looks a little scared.”
Oh, screw this. Isla refuses to stick around and find out what’s going to happen, and she doesn’t at all feel guilty when she juts her hand forward and presses down on the top of the small can. Her aim is a little off, so she only manages to spray the first guy—Dyl. The sound of his shriek of pain cuts through the air, and he stumbles back and spits out curses as he presses the heels of his palms into his eyes.
The second guy freezes in surprise, looking between Isla and his friend, but she doesn’t stick around to see what he’s going to do next. Instead, Isla turns and makes a run for it, making sure to press the button on her FOB to lock her car as she bolts down the dirt road. She can hear the guys yelling over the sound of the breeze rushing past her ears, fear fueling more power to her legs as she nears a neighborhood street at the end of the dirt road. Isla isn’t sure if they’re following her, or if they’re even going to, but she doesn’t pause to find out.
She runs and runs, her lungs beginning to burn, as she rounds a stone wall with greenery growing through the cracks that closes in a property—only for her vision to go black for a split second when she collides against something.
“Jesus fucking Christ.” Scratch that—make that someone, because instead of falling back on her ass, a strong pair of arms wrap around her waist to keep her from tumbling down. The grip is tight and secure, and a delicious aroma of what seems to be earthy wood tickles her nose. “What the hell are you—Isla?”
The sound of her name being spoken in that all too familiar voice clears Isla’s head, and she pulls back enough to look up into the startling blue eyes of Rafe Cameron. Her pounding heart seems to slow down a fraction, and she’s not sure what to make of the mild relief that calms down her frazzled nerves because this is Rafe Cameron. Sure, he might not be as bad as those two freaks, and he’s one of her close friends’ brothers, but he’s still the same guy that has gotten into more than a few fights with her best friends. That being said, she shouldn’t find as much comfort as she does being in front of him.
Her breathing is heavy, pulse throbbing uncontrollably. She only barely registers her hands gripping his forearms, like it’s grounding her as she takes in Rafe’s expression. His eyebrows are furrowed together as he looks down at her, his height towering over her five-foot five frame, and there’s more confusion than worry in his features, unsurprisingly. Her heavy breathy makes her privy to the scent of nicotine, glancing down to see a half used cigarette now laying forgotten on the ground.
“What the hell are you doing?” Rafe repeats. Isla hears the familiar thread of annoyance in his voice, but she can’t bring herself to give a damn.
She lets go of him like he’s electrocuted her, taking a step back and forcing him to let go of her, too. It takes everything in her not to acknowledge the way her skin burns where his had touched hers. “Going for a run, what does it look like?” she snaps back, though her voice trembles on her breath.
Rafe’s expression deadpans, though he arches an eyebrow under the dirty blonde bangs that frame his forehead. “Looks like you’re scared,” he states.
“I—” Isla gets cut off by the familiar sound of a car engine rumbling, the popping kind, and the breath locks in her throat as she glances over her shoulder. “Fuck,” she breathlessly mutters, catching sight of the headlights creeping up from around the corner on the road. She’s not sure if those guys are looking for her—though, she wouldn’t be surprised given that she pepper sprayed one of them, and her pulse quickens again in panic with the need to hide away.
“Wait—are you running from someone?” Rafe questions, and Isla looks back at him to see his gaze pointed over her head, right where the noise of the car is coming from. A car that sounds to be approaching too close.
“You’re asking too many questions,” Isla returns hastily, stepping to go around him. “I need to go—”
Rafe lets out an exasperated huff, and if she had all her wits about her, she’d snap at him. But instead, surprise slams through her when Rafe’s hand wraps around her bicep, his grip firm but not tight as he mutters, “Come here.”
Before Isla knows it, she’s being dragged through the gate of the Cameron estate, disappearing onto the property right when the car turns the corner. Her heart launches to her throat when Rafe suddenly turns her, and she’s being pressed against the stone wall, soft leaves pressing to her back in contrast to the hard surface.
Isla’s eyes widen when Rafe’s body presses against her, the air rushing out of her lungs as her gaze snaps up to meet his. “What are you doing?” she asks, her words a mere breath.
He seems surprised by his own actions, lips pursed and that muscle in his clean shaven jaw pulsing almost as quickly as her own heart. Can he hear the thundering, feel it? “Just—stay quiet,” Rafe grits.
Part of Isla wants to push him off—the part that sounds a lot like her friends. But fear wins out, keeping her in place, as she hears the car creep along in front of the gate of the Cameron property.
Rafe’s eyes silently tell her to remain quiet and something tightens her stomach—something other than fear—and it startles her enough to flick her gaze to the left, towards the vine wrapped gate. She can see the headlights slowly passing by, and she prays that these guys aren’t stupid enough to trespass private property.
Then again, they were ready to do God-knows-what to her, so who the hell knows?
The thought alone sends her heartbeat accelerating all over again, panic settling in her bones hard enough to rattle them. Isla’s hands fist at her sides, eyes squeezing shut as she leans her head back against the wall. How the hell had her night taken such a freaky turn? And how is it that Rafe Cameron, of all people, is the one to help her out?
Suddenly, the mid-May night doesn’t feel as warm as Rafe’s body; he isn’t close enough where his body is completely pressing into hers, but she can feel the soft material of his shirt fluttering against the bare skin of her stomach, thanks to her crop top. Isla can feel the heat of his skin seeping into hers, which makes her heart thunder with something other than panic, and she’s not entirely sure what the hell to do with that.
“Relax—they’re gone.”
His voice is low and gruff, a tone that makes goosebumps pebble her skin even in this warm weather. Isla opens her eyes with a sharp exhale and her brown eyes immediately find Rafe’s blue, her throat tightening under his scrutinizing gaze. True, she can’t hear the engine anymore, the headlights are also gone, and Isla tries to even out her breathing while nodding slowly.
Rafe’s eyes rake over her and shouldn’t she feel unsettled about that? About how close he’s standing to her? But it seems like all of her unease has been used up from evading those weirdos, so Rafe Cameron being her rescuer doesn’t annoy her as much as it normally would.
“So what was that about?” he questions, raising an eyebrow.
Isla’s throat works, dragging her gaze back up at him. The lamps spaced out along the wall light his face, casting shadows along his sharp cheekbones. He’s so handsome—the thought crosses through her mind quickly, and though she would never admit it to her friends, she can’t help but find the truth in it—as insane as it might be.
“Nothing to concern yourself with,” Isla finds herself saying, lifting her chin in a small act of defiance.
The corner of Rafe’s mouth twitches into a ghost of a smirk, and through the light reflecting in his eyes, she can see them dancing in amusement. “Given that I just saved your ass, an explanation would be nice.”
Isla scowls, all thoughts of his stupidly good looks vanishing. “I didn’t ask you to do that. I had it under control.”
It’s a lie spoken through her teeth, and Rafe can see that. “Yeah, looked real under control when you were running for your life,” he replies dryly, eyebrows rising. But then his expression flattens out, eyebrows furrowing together once again as he says, “Seriously, Isla. What gives? What the hell was that about?”
“Just—some fucking weirdos, I don’t know,” she huffs, frustration from this entire ordeal bubbling to the surface as she rubs her hands up her face and runs her fingers through her hair. “I—Can you back up?” she asks hastily, forcing a glare. Rafe, surprisingly, simply presses his lips together and raises his hands in defense while taking a couple of steps away from her. Isla is no longer embraced by his warmth, by his scent, and there’s an unexpected tug in her chest that she ignores. “My car broke down on that dirt path behind the road. I was trying to figure it out when these guys pulled up and, I don’t know, shit got weird so I made a break for it.”
Rafe frowns as he listens to her, and Isla shakes her head, rubbing the back of her neck. “I need to get back to my car,” she says.
“Seriously?” Rafe asks, scoffing. “You’re gonna go back when some freaks are looking for you?”
Isla glares at him, not at all appreciating him talking to her like she’s stupid. “My wallet’s still in my car. I need to grab it if they haven’t fucking broken into my car already.”
She moves past him to head to the gate, surprised to hear his footsteps as he easily catches up to her. “What, you’re gonna walk back?” When Isla glances at Rafe, he’s looking at her like she’s insane. No sign of the contempt he normally saves for her and her friends, which is slightly unnerving. “After you were just running from some freaks? You do realize how much of a bad idea that is, right?”
She shrugs even as the unease from before returns at the idea of running into those guys again. “I need to get my wallet,” is her meek response.
Rafe lets out a breath, running his fingers through his hair and Isla briefly frowns at herself at the way her gaze seems to run to the flex of his bicep. And the way her stomach fucking flutters because this is Rafe Cameron. The only fluttering her stomach should be doing where he’s concerned is one tinged with nausea.
Rafe then fixes her with a stern look. “Come on,” he says firmly before walking down the driveway of his house.
Isla blinks out of whatever stupor she was in and glares at his back—and at the demand he left her with. She scoffs, hands splaying in annoyance until she realizes he’s headed straight for his motorcycle. Her shoulders drop, rooted on the spot as she says flatly, “You’re joking.”
Rafe is already pulling out a helmet—scratch that, two helmets—and looking at her, once again, like she’s an idiot while she glares at him. At least there’s that bit of normalcy. “This—” He holds up both helmets in each hand. “Is better than you walking back to your car by yourself. Let’s go.”
Isla’s disbelief only intensifies. She doesn’t walk over to him, doesn’t take the proffered helmet. Instead, she exhales sharply and crosses her arms over her chest, asking, “Why are you helping me?”
Rafe has the gall to look annoyed by her question, arms resting at his sides. His gaze locks with Isla’s, but she doesn’t shy away from it as he eventually drops his head back with a groan before looking back at her once more. “Listen, contrary to your and your friends’ popular belief, I’m not a complete dick.” Isla can’t help but scoff and roll her eyes, cutting her gaze away from him in doubt. He cannot be serious. “I wouldn’t want either of my sisters to be fucking chased by some losers, so just think of this as my good deed of the month, alright? Now will you please take the damn helmet and get on the bike?”
Frankly, Isla feels like she’s just stepped into an alternate reality because, seriously, when was the last time Rafe Cameron ever did anything nice for her—if ever?
But as much as Isla’s pride is begging for her to tell him thanks but no thanks and turn and walk back to her car, fear still resides in the pit of her belly, waiting to strike. She hates to admit it, but Rafe is right. It’d be dumb of her to walk back alone at night after what just happened. Maybe she could call her sister or one of her friends, but that would just add unnecessary time to all this, and Isla just really wants to get home. So, fine; maybe she can accept Rafe’s offer to drive her to her car, and then from there maybe she can call an Uber home and call a tow truck from the safety of her bedroom.
Rafe holds out one of the black helmets in impatience, and Isla purses her lips as she pushes herself to walk over. She does her best not to admire the sight of him next to his bike, something she never would have done before tonight. Maybe this whole freaky situation has loosened some screws in her brain.
Isla all but snatches the helmet out of his hand, though a part of her feels as though it’s just for appearances’ sake to keep up her usual attitude around Rafe, and tucks her dark hair behind her ears before pulling the helmet on, the visor still up. She tries her best not to think of the weight of his gaze on her as she fiddles with the straps on her chin to secure the helmet, but she’s unable to get it right, fingers trembling despite herself.
“I got it,” Rafe says, and Isla freezes when he gently bats her hands away and steps up to her, using his finger to push at the bottom of the helmet so she can tilt her head back enough for him to see the straps. The heat of his body greets her once more and she’s silent as she feels him secure the straps, breath hitching quietly when the backs of his fingers brush against her skin.
He’s done within seconds, but it sure as shit feels longer as she remains standing there, watching him pull on his own helmet. Isla watches silently as Rafe gets on the bike, wondering how she got here, and he says, “Hop on.”
Isla has ridden on the back of JJ’s bike plenty of times, so she gets on with no trouble, though she does have to grip Rafe’s shoulders in order to do so. They’re broad and firm under her hands, and she mentally chastises herself for even thinking about his stupid shoulders. When she’s settled behind him, her legs framing his, Isla’s heartbeat picks up at the sudden proximity, her front against his back.
She’s sure she’s barely breathing when her skin warms because there’s barely any space that exists between them, and when Rafe tells her, “Hold on or risk flying off,” she can’t decide if she wants to smack him upside the head or beg for the ground to swallow her whole.
Sliding the visor down, Isla inhales deeply and quietly before winding her arms around Rafe’s waist, teeth gritting together because if her friends saw her now, they definitely would believe she’s lost her mind. The fact of the matter is, right now all she can seem to focus on is the solidness of his stomach against her arms and how fucking good he smells, which is confusing and overwhelming and everything in between.
The motorcycle’s engine roars to life, and seconds later Rafe is kicking off the kick-stand and they’re riding down the driveway and onto the road. She had told him her car stopped on the dirt path behind the actual road, separated by trees, and that’s all Rafe seemingly needs to know as he takes them in the right direction. The breeze as they go feels good against her, cooling her heated skin down and she would never admit it, but riding on the back of Rafe Cameron’s bike has a somewhat calming effect on her.
The tension that had tightened her muscles since her encounter with those other guys melts away, and the rapid thumping of her heart has nothing to do with anxiety and everything to do with the thrill of this moment. Maybe it’s ill advised, but it seems to be exactly what she needs as the night air mixes with Rafe’s cologne—or maybe he just smells like that in general?
God, she’s getting too weird about this.
Soon enough, her car comes into view and Isla is relieved when there seems to be no sign of those guys. Rafe stops the bike right next to her car, and another sigh of relief escapes her when she sees that her car doesn’t look damaged. Swinging her leg over, she uses Rafe’s shoulders as leverage to get off the bike, trying not to think too much about the loss of his body heat as she reaches for the helmet straps.
They’re easier to undo than they were to strap, and she lifts the helmet off, one hand already flattening her dark hair as Rafe holds his hand out for the helmet. As she unlocks the car, Rafe asks, “How’d you manage to outrun them?”
Isla leans into the driver’s seat, reaching for her tote bag in the passenger seat. She digs through it for a moment, taking stock of her wallet, lip gloss, lip balm, and the few other things still safely inside. “I pepper-sprayed one of them,” she answers as she pulls out and straightens.
When she turns to look at Rafe, whose helmet’s visor is up, she sees the smirk that curls at his mouth. How does a sight that made her want to knee him in the stomach before make her feel kind of weak kneed right now? Did those guys really freak her out so much that now down is up and left is right? “Nice,” he murmurs, nodding in approval. Jutting his chin towards her car, he asks, “You gonna call a truck?”
Isla shakes her head. “When I get home,” she says, pulling out her phone.
Rafe nods as he holds the helmet out once more. “Alright, let’s go.”
Isla pauses, gaze flicking up from her phone screen where the Uber app is open to look at him. Arching an eyebrow, she asks, “Uh, go where?”
He mirrors the arched eyebrow look. “I’ll take you home,” he says as if it’s obvious when it very much isn’t.
“No thanks. I can Uber,” she answers, already putting her home address in.
Rafe scoffs, shaking his head as he remains sitting on his bike. “You’re just full of bad ideas tonight, aren’t you?” he says. Isla’s eyes narrow, irritation sparking through her as he splays his arms out to gesture to the road they’re on. “You’re really gonna wait out here on a dirt road, with no street lamps, in the dark for an Uber when I’m offering you a ride home right now?” Before she can respond, he carries on, “On the same stretch of road, mind you, that you just got harassed on?”
The irritation intensifies, and Isla’s expression twists into a glare as she snaps, “What’s it to you, huh? You already did your good deed of the month. We’re not friends, Rafe. I don’t need your help.”
Even with the helmet on, she can tell he’s clenching his jaw, eyes hard as he sets them on her. The look makes her chest burn in a way that’s not all unwelcome, and that alone should be a sign that she’s losing it. “We may not be friends, but you’re my sister’s friend, alright? Sarah would kill me if she found out I left you out here by yourself. So stop being so fucking stubborn and get on the damn bike, Isla. I’m taking you home.”
She presses her tongue to her cheek, shoulders bunched in frustration while Rafe glares at her, his own impatience radiating off of him in waves. Sarah has told Isla how stubborn her brother can be, and while Isla doesn’t know Rafe well, she knows him and has dealt with him enough to know he isn’t budging on this. So, with a huff, she snatches the helmet once more, ignoring the protests in her head that sound suspiciously a lot like her friends as she pulls the helmet on.
She manages to get the straps this time and gets back on the bike, her bag securely hanging off her shoulder as Rafe starts the bike again and Isla swallows silently as she wraps her arms around his waist once more. Every part of her is warm where it touches him, and as he drives, she tilts her head back, practically begging for anyone listening to get her to calm the hell down.
Seriously—how the hell did Rafe Cameron become her would-be hero of tonight?
Luckily, her house is a ten minute drive from the Cameron house and Isla allows him to pull up to the front of the house, since Kie isn’t home and has no chance of peeking out her bedroom window and seeing Isla getting off Rafe’s bike. He parks the bike and Isla lets go of him almost immediately, hopping off the bike and undoing the straps of the helmet under her chin.
Rafe is already looking at her by the time she gets the helmet off, his blue eyes visible since the visor is lifted. With a close mouthed, saccharine smile, Isla all but shoves the helmet into his hands. “Thanks for the ride. Let’s never do this again.”
He scoffs as he shakes his head, but the smirk on his face is apparent. “Don’t have to tell me twice.”
Isla rolls her eyes and, without another word, turns towards her house. She’s on the front porch and fishing keys out when she glances to the right and sees Rafe still parked there, seemingly watching her. Her stomach does a stupid, weird flip as she unlocks the door and shoos him. “Go away,” she hisses, even though Kiara isn’t home and her parents wouldn’t care that Rafe dropped her off—hell, her mom would be thrilled, honestly.
Even from this distance, she can just picture Rafe’s arrogant smirk as he lifts a hand in a two fingered salute before revving the engine of his bike, and Isla clenches her jaw as he speeds off, the roar echoing down the block. Exhaling sharply, Isla shakes her head and walks into her house, shutting the door behind her just as she hears footsteps approaching her.
“Where have you been?” her mom asks, not demanding but more concerned.
Isla smiles sheepishly as she faces her mother. “Yeah, about that. . .”

@candyheartedchy 's post made me think about mirrored version of my ship and at first I was thinking about just swapping their personality but then I remember that there was actually a chapter in the PPG comic where everything is swapped and Utonium family is basically a tyrant and the villains are the good guys.
Me talking about this uhh alternate universe (i mean.... it is technically an AU i guess?) undercut 🤧
Also lol plugging my commission info her heehee ∠( ᐛ 」∠)_
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Like I mentioned, basically everything is reversed in this and honestly I really like their outfits??? Like the girls's alt clothes actually looks so cool I love it so much skdjdislsks but lol ignore that I want to talk about my ship.
For this AU I think both Chloe and Utoniu- excuse me, Cleo and Plutonium would be married except the thing is, Cleo is not really a human. She's basically a Frakenstein that Plutonium built because nobody wants to be with him becauae he's an awful human being lol so like the day she was activated Plutonium immediately refer to her as his wife. Despite being build by Plutonium and how she suppose to be like an ideal woman to him, she's pretty stubborn and often clashes with his commands. The times she would listen and obey him is when the action would benefit her. I would say that both of them are actually codependent and none of them could operate without each other and both of them are just so good yet so bad for each other akdjdkdoslxjdoq
As for personality, Plutonium is obviously much more direct and brash, he didn't really think through with his plan and reacts upon his emotion while Cleo is more cool and calculated and would orchestrate a plan in her head in what is going to happen and what is expected to happen. For that reason, she is mostly the one who arranges the agenda for Plutonium.
Do I think they love each other? I don't think so. Like i say, both of them are together just for each other's benefit, Cleo doesn't know emotion and Plutonium is just fucked in the head lol
Also I just find it so hilarious that the Powerpunk Girls and Plutonium's way of bonding is destroying each other like nothing says quality time with your family like trying to overthrow each other's tyranny for the week 🥰🥰🥰
This AU is so unserious I'm laughing at how ridiculous this is lmaososkslsoslsl

For some reason, when I was younger, I would always want to create oc's that were th3 children of my favorite ships. Every once in a while, I'll revisit these oc's and redevelop some. That's what I did the other day.

𝐁𝐎𝐍𝐍𝐈𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃 from a distance as JJ finished hanging up the Pouglandia sign that he a had made from a ratio of cloth and the char off a burnt stick but before the brunette could comment Kiara was already a step ahead cheering the blonde on with all her might
The girl took a step back bare feet sinking in the sand as she began to walk away her orange top that she had made out of one of the blondes tank tops clinging to her body like an overbearing hug leaving the pair alone
Everyone had a job to do and a partner to do it with
Everyone except Bonnie it seemed she did task plenty to keep herself busy and the pogues alive such as cooking meals, showing John B how to crack coconuts more times than she could count beyond her ten fingers, and weaving baskets to carry fish and different berries in
But what partner did she have? JJs attention was basically Kiaras and Pope had Cleo now the girl was inevitably alone
"Going somewhere?" Bonnie didn't turn her head to look at the dark skinned boy on the side of her as she hummed continuing to walk along the trails worm by their feet
"Thought you were picking berries with Cleo" Pope raised his eyebrows slightly inching up to his hairline at the girls tone he didn't think she meant it she always sounded more harsh than she intended majority of the time
"Got done early, when you weren't with JJ I came looking for you" He said in a mater of fact tone as the girl pursed her lips continuing walking her trail
"I think we should just live here, when JJ said it first I thought it was just stupid but I think I could do it with you two." Bonnie finally looked at him and she couldn't help the small smile on her face and Pope didn't miss even when she tried to shake it away
"Come on Jimmy Neutron we need to head back" The brunette sighed watching the sun begin to set on the horizon and the pair began their walk back to the beach
<><><>
"If you could do it all again what would you do different?" Sarah questioned the group sitting in a circle playing one of the games they found themselves playing often
"Get the gold out before Ward did." JJ stated
"Maybe hide the cross a little better." Pope sighed
"Not yell murderer at Ward maybe" Kie grimaced at the thought
"Not threaten to kill Rafe in front of a police station" Bonnie shrugged
"Uh, steal a couple bottles of rum before we jumped off the boat" John B finally responded
"Yea why didn't you do that actually?" JJ questioned turning around to look at the boy with a playful glare
"Maybe 'cause I was in a fight to the death?" The tan boy rolled his eyes
"I would look both ways before crossing the street" Cleo turned to look at John B pausing from sharpening her knife the group took a few more turns until the badly woven hat got placed upon Bonnie's head
"I think I'll finally go with a dare" The girl rolled her eyes as the group clapped JJ going as far as whistling at her finally abandoning the 'safe' answer as John B called it
"I dare you to go with the big jump no one's done it yet" Kiara challenged as Bonnie immediately began to shake her head at the thought as everyone began to boo at her
"Hell No absolutely not" The girl laughed shaking her to the point where she couldn't notice JJ slowly rising out his seat until he finally tackled the girl girl beginning to run off with her in his grasp as she screamed and yelled the girls began to giggle excluding Kiara as Sarah blew kisses in her direction and Cleo help up a heart made from her hand
JJ looked for a good climbing spot and found the best on the other side of the makeshift mountain finally sitting the brunette down on her feet
"JJ I'm not going up there" Bonnie stated looking how far up she would have to climb it was dumb and dangerous
"Come on princess, I'll go with you if it makes you feel better" He was cocky and no matter how much she said she hated it deep down the blonde knew she hated it a little less with him he knew her better that anyone
They knew her better than anyone.
"Come on one foot in front of the other one arm above each other" The pale boy encouraged as Bonnie began rock climbing to the top as he trailed behind her
"Shut up Maybank" The girl didn't know how many times she had rolled her eyes in a day but it had to have broken some record as the pair finally made it to the top they could hear the cheers from their friends down below
"Oh shit" The hair on her neck began to stick up from the cool breeze nipping around her body was the mountain always this far up?
"Don't get cold feet now Bon come on, if you don't hurry I'll throw you I swear" JJ was already at the tip of the platform ready to jump with no hesitation and Bonnie was in the middle of the landing with the almost ground area looking over the rocks
The girl screamed out a laugh as the blonde began to approach her with a small smile on his face
"WAIT okay, okay I'll jump. Just, just let me take off my shorts these are the only dry pair I have" The girl shot the blonde a pleasing look as he stood in his tracks waiting the pogues could be heard by both of them from down below but it began to become background noise as the brunette began to slip the brown shorts off from her waist along with the waist beads her and Sarah's had made with rope and rocks the had searched for around the island
JJ had stretched a hand out to her which she took stepping away from the pile of clothes she had left as the made their way to the tip of the peak the girl had to admit the view was beautiful
"On three" JJ began to count down their fingers still intertwined with one another as he stared at the girls smile her shoulders slightly shaking in anticipation
𝐎𝐍𝐄 He couldn't process how someone like her could even give him the time of day. How she could let him into her bubble of creativity, let him touch her upon her spirituality, she was something that he could understand unlike any subject in school or any problem through at him in life. He knew that she couldn't even begin to understand how bad he has it for her, how bad he has it for them.
𝐓𝐖𝐎 The blonde then turned to look at the dark skinned boy below them both. He was sure that he was the smartest person to walk the planet he'd be an Einstein one day going off to make the world better and giving the government a run for their money leaving him behind taking his heart with him and he'd let him take it to the ends of the earth with no fuss
𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄 It was settled how could he let someone like them go? The simple answer was that he couldn't even if we wanted it was a the stupidest mistake anyone would ever be able to make and he was sure of himself he wouldn't
𝐆𝐎 They finally jumped still hand and hand as the cold water hit their skin screaming was the first thing they heard when their head were out of the water beginning to swim to shore as the girls laugh erupted his ears as a melody
Pope was the first to reach them both engulfing the two in a hug the water transferring to his shirt off their bodies didn't seem to phase him as JJ laughed openly pushing his wet hair from his face before wrapping an arm around them both before Bonnie's did the same both arms wrapped around both boys shoulders and waist
Her boys they all thought
<><><><>
"That's what I'm talking about now freshly caught" The group sat around a fire eating fish in silence Bonnie had her head rested on Popes shoulder and her legs were over JJs lap as he rubbed his palm against her flesh leaving a trail of goosebumps as he went
The rest of the pogues couldn't help but sneak glances in awe it took long enough John B would say but the silence was enough and spoke for itself
Kiara watched them all with a sinking feeling in her stomach she wasn't chirpy about it how was she supposed to be when the boy she had feelings for found that same feeling in other people?
<><><><>
Pope could feel himself stir as he began to blink away the sleep from his eyes at the sound that evaded his ears on the usually silent island when the pogues weren't talking and the waves weren't crashing against shore he happened to look up in the sky at helicopter that flew over the ocean close to the island
"Guys wake up!" The boy was immediately up on his legs grabbing his shoes and JJs lighters that once rested in Bonnie's bag before he was off
Bonnie woke up the sight of the brown skin boy that once lied next to her running from her peripheral view was enough to get her on her feet as she quickly tapped JJs thigh before going to follow him
It didn't take long to catch up to Pope as you both ran up the hill to a pile of wood that you had made just in case as the boy cursed at the spiking lighter that wouldn't erupt in the wind until Bonnie cupped her hand around it making a small flame that was enough to light the sticks and tree branches as the pair began to yell waving their hands in the air
"𝐇𝐄𝐘, we're over here!"
"𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄 help us!"
The plane continued a it seemed no matter how much the pair screamed it was deemed useless as they both panted heavily until the plane began to turn to its side wings frozen in the air as it turned around
"Pope, Pope they see us!" The girl yelled tapping his shoulder jumping up and down until the boy picked her up his arms resting under her thighs spinning in circles as they both screamed in victory
The pogues began to run after the plane that landed in the pond as the door opened and a middle aged man long hair and a button up shirt stepped out
"Well what do we got here?" Pope ran up to John B wrapping an arm around his shoulder as both boys exclaimed in victory while Bonnie approached JJ with a bright smile that he couldn't quite mirror as she hugged his side her head resting against his bicep and just the peak of his shoulder and the blonde didn't hesitate to hold her before he handed her her bag
"You know, just some castaways." John B replied brightly
"Well I'll cross that off the grocery list, you know I got just the thing for y'all the two things you need on a deserted island first aid and rum" The man tossed both of the said items the rum landing in the pond before getting picked up by Sarah and the first aid landing in Popes hands
"So what's the story, you guys sink a boat?" He said as if it was the most reasonable thing in the world
"Jumped off one. Her dads." John b replied nodding over to where Sarah stood beside him with a skeptical look on her face
"In-laws man their tough. Well have no fear Jimmy's here I got you" The group began to laugh
"Well all hail Jimmy guys! Let's go." Cleo cheered as the group began to get on the plane the last two left were JJ and Bonnie as the two looked at each other before following their friends
"So what we're you doing all the way out here?" JJ questioned not fully sitting back in his seat Bonnie sat In between both him and Pope waiting for the man's response
"I got a little guide outfit in Saint Vincent I was spotting fish." Jimmy responded starting up the plain as the engine roared to life
"What we're you spotting?"
"Oh you know the usual Wahoo... I'd hand on to something get a little spicy on takeoff" The brunette didn't miss the look on JJs face as he squinted at the man before before clutching onto one of the handles that hung from the ceiling as the plane began to accelerate up into the air
"Wahoo don't run in September ever. So whoever this man is he's not a fisherman" The girls head snapped to look at the blonde her lips slightly parted
"Maybe the run just starts earlier out here" Pope tried to reason a small look of alert taking over his features
"Are you sure about that? In the Caribbean" JJ shot a look at the boy as Bonnie's knee began to bounce up and down a habit she had when she was trying to think or when she was anxious
"No I know what this is, he's working for my dad and he's probably been looking for us the entire time." Sarah spoke up in her seat next to Cleo all eyes shifting to her
"All right we gotta find out looking for some sort of... clues" The blonde trailed off as he looked at the bag on the back of the pilots chair as he looked at Bonnie and John B
"Hey Jimmy, how long you had this bird?" The boy questioned as JJ stretched an arm across the isle way sticking a hand in his bag
"Probably about ten years"
"How long you been flying?" Bonnie spoke up as the man shook his head with a smile that made her stomach uneasy
"I've been flying all my life"
"Uhh who's the lovely lady right there?" John B through another question back like a grenade ready to blow
"That right there? That's Cynthia" The man laughed loudly overly loud the Bonnie though his headphones probably had something to do with the fact
JJ began sprawling some of the things he got from the man's bag out on his lap as Bonnie picked up the book flipping through pages for anything useful as JJ handed Sarah a picture
"The costal venture oh my god this is the boat we were on with Eberhimi and the cross" Sarah whispered
"So he was looking for us?" Cleo questioned even though it was more than a statement as JJ agreed nodding his head
"He's working for my dad" Sarah declared before the plane began to shake as Bonnie fell into Popes side the boy wrapping his around her without missing a beat
"You guys better hold onto something we got some unexpected turbulence up here" Jimmy called back
"Guys whatever it is it's happening fast look." Kiara pointed out the window and everyone could see an island the plane began to approach
"It's Barbados. It's where I lived there before I moved with my dad to the cut" Bonnie stated as she remembered the memories she had before her dad moved them both to the obx just when she was seven on the peak of turning eight
"Okay there's seven of us, one of him. You know my vote we storm the cockpit." JJ stated the girl honestly questioned it logic majority of the time
"No who's gonna fly the plane dumbass" John B protested
"I've seen Pope fly simulators" The blonde responded and the girl pinched at his arm for putting him on the spot to which he pouted genuinely beginning to rub his arm
"I crop-dusted for my uncle last summer this is not the same thing" The brown skin boy shook his head
"We don't have time to pretend that's a real option" Kiara responded
"Do you have an idea?"
"Something safe."
"Why don't we just wait until the plane lands somewhere safe, and if someone comes to mess with us we handle it." Bonnie interrupted the banter and everyone seemed to agree
"I like the handling part" JJ responded and the girl couldn't help but roll her eyes
"Just put that back" She pointed to the stuff in his lap as John B began to stir up conversation with Jimmy again as the man turned his head catching JJ putting back one of the books he had taken back in his bag
"Hey what the hell are you doing man" He had reached back pushing JJ letting go of shift sticks to control the plane in the process as the plane began to drop
"FLY THE PLANE!"
"Please fly the plane!" Jimmy had finally took control of the stick pulling upwards with abnormal force and soon the plane finally crashed in the water beginning to sink
"We got to get out come on" The group jumped one by one until it was Bonnie and Kiara left Pope had his arms out for the girl and Bonnie reluctantly jumped out the plane into the boys arms as JJ took the girl from his grasp beginning to swim of the direction underneath the pier
"Kie went the other way!" Sarah exclaimed as they watched the girl begin to run of the shore deeper into the island men dressed in khakis and cargos chasing after
"What are we going to do we're going after her right?" John B questioned as he watched his best friend get dragged away
"What can we do?" Pope questioned
"That girl always has to play fucking hero" Bonnie panted JJ still holding her tight in his grasp
"Guys my dad didn't, didn't sell our house we can crash there until we figure something out" The girl continued beginning to shake from the cold clear water and the pogues had settled on that idea quietly swimming to another part of the shore making it to land

KIARA CARRERA — spring prompts 🕊️
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A/N: oh kie…the frustration (which toned down after the first episode of S3 lol) and love I have for you. Now that I’ve completely finished the season…there’s definitely a contrast to her character this time around. I’m only here to give kie a fem love interest. Not your vibe and aren’t really interested? Please exit stage left now.
Synopsis: Kiara surprisingly gets insight on another kook, specifically the high-maintenance diva, Henrietta “Nettie” Beaulieu once they cross paths again over a series of unfortunate events.
Warnings: spoilers from the end of season three!
Using this prompt list here and numbers 49.) barbecue parties in the garden + 36.) rain in bright sunshine

“You’re staring.” Sarah whispered to Kiara on her way by with a plate full of platanos and pieces of hog that Cleo, Pope, and even Nettie managed to trap for dinner hours ago.
Kiara blinked rapidly and scowled over her shoulder at the blonde who smirked at her, walking backwards before taking a seat against a tree near John b.
“No, I’m not.” Kiara glowered.
John B finally looked up from his plate, butting in, “no, you’re not what?”
“Drooling over Nettie.” Sarah told the long haired teen with a bump to his shoulder, making Kiara widened her eyes and shush Sarah who shrugged her shoulders innocently.
It was a John B’s turn to smile now, “oh, yeah. You’ve totally been doing that since I got comfortable over here and this is my second plate.”
Greedy bastard.
Greedy bastard.
Greedy bastard.
“Um, the fact that you two are watching my moves today is completely creepy, I just thought you should know.” Kiara got to her feet, dusting off her Jean shorts.
She was on guarding the relic and gold duty while everyone else had their dinner.
Sarah laughed a bit, “it’s kinda what we have to do for each other since we chose to live out in the forest again and in a foreign country. You’re welcome, Kie.”
A wink was sent to the Olive-skinned girl, which irritated her more than ever.
This was somewhat true, after both John B and Sarah lost their fathers and after finally finding the lifelong treasure Big John searched for, they decided collectively to stay in South America for a little longer. They’ve done it before living on an isolated island for at least a month so what would it hurt doing it again? There were a few out of the group who contemplated about returning back to the Outerbanks right away: Pope considered heading back for school purposes but second-guessed not wanting to leave the pogues behind, Nettie hated the wilderness with a passion—the only time she was solid with being outdoors used to be for tennis and now it seemed like it shifted to gardening…mainly she thought about leaving because she didn’t have all of her skincare products with her, and Sarah struggled with the idea of telling Rafe that their father was gone for good this time.
“There’s nothing to be embarrassed about,” John B added, “I was wondering when you would come to terms with your crush.”
“Excuse me?!” Kiara hissed, stalking over to John B that he immediately sat up straight, “I do not have a crush on—on Nettie!”
Sarah frowned, leaning towards John B as she whispered, “I think she’s still in denial about it.”
“Seems that way, yeah.”
Kiara growled, ready to beat the two with a stick, “you two don’t know what you’re talking about, so shut up!”
“Like I said there’s nothing to be embarrassed about…I think you two would balance each other out with your hippy fiery socialist ways and Nettie’s… strong fashion sense?” John B struggled with his words that Sarah had to elbow him, quite hard.
Kiara was crossing her arms now with a scowl still written on her features. Was this the best John B could do to convince her when it seemed like he still didn’t know who Nettie even was?
“Is that the best you’ve got because that was a garbage take.” Kiara uttered.
Sarah swallowed her food, “what John B means to say is that you two could be the perfect match!”
“But why?” Kiara pressed, “last I knew there was something going on with her and Addy?”
John B awaited Sarah’s response since he didn’t know who that is either.
Sarah shook her head, “oh no that’s over. Addy’s dating some girl that’s on her cheerleading team. That’s been a thing since Nettie’s mother shipped her off to one of those programs your parents sent you off to— which was highly abusive, I hear, in Atlanta. she’s been single as far as I know. Also we just see something that you’re either oblivious to or playing stupid about.”
That made Kiara look over her shoulder at the pony-tail wearing girl. She was sitting across the makeshift barbecue pit which was covered in large leaves and surrounded by some wildflowers—probably picked by Nettie herself, providing an additional pretty view, on a stump next to JJ, surprisingly, laughing at something he was animatedly talking about. It was nice to hear some laughter around here, with Nettie’s sounding just like bells and hope.
Kiara would have never thought Nettie was in a place worse than Kitty Hawk. Especially when it comes to those that don’t deserve it. Did Nettie deserve it? Kiara and Nettie had almost a non-existent relationship? Well not really, back when Kiara, Sarah, and Nettie all went to the same school they only shared a class together freshman year. The first half of Kiara’s freshman year was something she wanted to burn from her memory but kept buried in the back of her mind instead.
She’s only known a few things about the girl in the short time that they interacted. Such as: Nettie was originally from Atlanta with a controlling mother apparently, Kiara knew her father was a firefighter but it seemed like he wasn’t around most of the time, and that she lived here in the kook area with her Olympian grandmother who actually lived across the street from the Carrera’s. Nettie’s been over Kiara’s house once or twice since Kiara’s father, Michael Carrera, thought the two would get along.
Yet it seemed like the more Nettie analyzed Kiara’s bedroom, it felt like judgment but Kiara misunderstood her direct tone—to a certain extent. Kiara always suspected that Nettie was more than just best-friends with the star of the cheerleading team and Nettie never brought her up once when she came over to Kiara’s house.
There was always more than what meets the eye, that’s for sure.
“And how do you know all of this?” Kiara asked, arms still folded, eyes burning on the back of Nettie’s frame.
Sarah awkwardly cleared her throat, “uh some girls told me at this party I went to…it doesn’t matter! The point is, she isn’t just some kook and there could be more between you two if you just try.”
Did Kiara want to try?
She could admit that she did judge her just as much as Nettie judged her. Yet she ended up here with the rest of them for a reason and she was there with JJ to break her out of Kitty Hawk so…where did that leave the two of them?
Soon she found herself heading over to Nettie as Pope and JJ tended to putting the smoke out from the leaves. Off to the side, Nettie and Cleo seemed to be holding a conversation to themselves now, while staring out into the open greenery of the forest.
The two shared two bottom halves of a broken water bottle, leaving Kiara to only hear the end of their conversation.
“Yeah, I don’t know sis. Just goin’ with the flow ya know?” Cleo replied before she perked up at Kiara making her way over, “what’s goin’ on, kie?”
Nettie glanced over at Kiara, before she brought her broken plastic water bottle to her lips but said nothing.
“Not much,” Kiara swung her hands in front of her as she faced the two girls, “you two holding out on the hooch?”
Cleo chuckled with a shake of her head, “what?! Nah! You’ve got to know the little bit we had was devoured by the boys days ago! Nettie here found us something else for the mean time.”
Nettie deeply inhaled as Cleo nudged her. A smile stretched over her moisturized lips as she held out the rest of the bottle to the brown haired girl, “here. I’ve made it myself with some leaves I’ve found scouting the other day. I’m sure it has some health benefits or whatever but mainly it tastes sweet, almost like fruit and it’s refreshing.”
Cautiously Kiara gripped the plastic, her fingertips brushing against Nettie’s as she sniffed at it. The smell was faint, herbal and did have a citrus hint to it which was interesting considering that it was filled with water and mashed up leaves?
Silently she wished that she wasn’t drinking out of plastic right now but giving their circumstances, she had to swallow that pride down along with the liquid. Everything Nettie described was true, it was earthy but slightly tart when it hit your tongue before it smoothed over with a sweetness as it glided down your throat.
“Wow,” Kiara found herself coughing a little bit off-guard, “it almost like a seltzer.”
“Riight,” Cleo nodded her head in approval, “its fire.”
Kiara popped her tongue with a nod of her head, “it’s alright even if there maybe chemicals mixed in with those leaves.”
“Oh here we go.” Cleo kissed her teeth, scratching at her hair as she looked away, already sensing what was about to come.
Nettie argued, “yeah it’s not the wreck’s supposed filtered water but it’s the next best thing.”
“What do you mean ‘supposed?’”
“What I just said,” Nettie stated, “I never knew filtered water tasted like well-water and here you are complaining about my beverage of choice.” She plucked the plastic back from Kiara’s hands.
Kiara frowned, glancing over at Cleo who raised her hands in surrender, unsure why this beef was occurring in the first place.
“Okay just because I have a opinion on something doesn’t mean you get to attack my family’s business.”
“It’s called making a comparison,” Nettie fully turned to Kiara, “dont get upset when I’m just providing a rebuttal for your opinion. You know it’s actually nice to see you back up the only two kooks who you might actually like, although they threw you away the second you didn’t live by their rules.”
Cleo began, “Whoa let’s not—
Humorlessly Kiara chewed down on her bottom lip in frustration before she spit out, “yeah well you’d know all about that wouldn’t you? At least my parents actually want me around. Shouldn’t you be mad at your meemaw or is she just the same as my parents?”
Realization crossed over Nettie’s eyes that Kiara knew why she “disappeared” for a year. It wasn’t much of a secret but everyone in town speculated their own rumors about why she left the Outerbanks. However none of those rumors were true and she wasn’t sure how much Kiara knew of her story at that hellhole but it didn’t matter.
She struck a nerve just as Nettie got underneath Kiara’s skin.
Nettie chucked the bottle to the left of her, getting into Kiara’s face as she glared right into her face. All Kiara could do was smirk as Nettie tried her best to be threatening, which Kiara heard she could be but nobody had the right to shit on her parents but her.
“Move,” Nettie yelled.
Kiara ran her tongue over the front row of her teeth, “sure…only if you make me.”
Nettie’s nostrils were flaring at this point and with a rough shoulder check to Kiara’s, she stalked off, leaving the rest of the pogues highly confused.
“Hey,” Sarah walked to Nettie who held up her hand to silence the girl who told Sarah that she’s, “nothing but a gossiping bitch,” on her way out.
“The hell was that, Kie?” JJ asked from behind.
Kiara threw up her hands, “I’m just using my own words against her’s. It’s not my fault she couldn’t take it.”
“Yeah I don’t think throwing each other’s pain in each other’s faces was the way to go about it, girl.” Cleo huffed with a shake of her head.
Kiara pointed at herself, “why am I being lectured to when she’s the one who started with me?”
“You didn’t have to throw the whole chemical line in, just be appreciative is all you could do.” JJ told Kiara who scrunched up her nose.
Kiara flatly said, “I didn’t mean anything by it. It was just a thought…that happened to escape through my lips!”
“You’re not thinking clearly, Kie.” Pope added, still crouching by some rocks.
Kiara honestly felt like she was being attacked right now for just being herself and she didn’t need anyone to be on her side. It wasn’t supposed to be about sides with this group but Nettie was the new-new face to the family so why was it feeling more difficult to welcome her in?
“I don’t need you guys ganging up on me,” Kiara yelled, “if I would have known this is what staying in Venezuela would be like, I would have gone back home already.”
The friends went quiet at that, not wanting the bad to outweigh the good in this adventure but they were also her friends and knew how to call each other out on their shit.
“It’s not our intentions to make you feel like that and you know that Kie. We also know you’re headstrong, but you just need to see Nettie’s perspective. This isn’t her element and maybe the tea was her way of trying to I don’t know, bond with you?” John B was attempting to be the voice of reason, which was really shocking honestly.
Kiara groaned with her head thrown back, “fine! Whatever, I’ll go see if I can find her and have a proper conversation without you guys being all up in our business.”
“Whew! Thatta girl!” JJ clapped it up just for Kiara to send him a middle finger.
As the girl vanished from their view, they all turned back to each other with curious glances.
“Are we going to go ease drop?” John B asked, itching to follow.
Sarah held him back, “No, not yet. Let them argue it out first.”
Pope stared off in thought, “…do you guys think sending Kie after Nettie was the best idea?”
“Guess we’ll find out if the screams turn into pleas.” Cleo muttered, looping her arm with Pope’s as she sat on the rock behind him.
Kiara knew she had to be walking for at least ten minutes before she found Nettie by the river. It was much cooler here compared to the mugginess up on the hill and Kiara just knew she would find Nettie here. It was the one place where she could wash her clothes and skin in peace so it only made sense.
“Henrietta,” Kiara exhaled as she caught her breath, “you walk pretty fast for someone who hates the outdoors.”
Nettie rolled her eyes, turning back to press her chin into her arms, “leave me alone, Kiara Carrera.”
Kiara sighed as she fanned at the sweat on her neck before she stepped over the rocks and pebbles to stand beside her, “no, I don’t think I will. Not until we come to some sort of understanding, where we can be in the same space without being at each others throats.”
“You’re the one who has a problem with me.”
“What?”
“I knew you didn’t like me from the moment I asked if I could sit next to you back in biology class.”
Kiara frowned, “I don’t…remember that?”
“Yup! you ended up saving that space for Sarah while I had to squeeze in at a table between two other classmates.” Nettie rolled the tension off her shoulders, “it wasn’t a big deal but I just wanted to ask you a question since the classmates I was stuck sitting next to didn’t know shit.”
Like Kiara said, everything about that preppy school, she pushed to the back of her brain. She hated that she couldn’t remember this happening and how dismissive she must have made Nettie feel. Sarah and Kiara were still good friends before their fall out but Kiara felt like she wouldn’t have been rude about declining someone a seat.
Not purposely at least.
“Well…what was the question?”
“I don’t remember.” Nettie found herself saying as she trailed off in thought, “Probably something stupid.”
Kiara felt her nose wrinkling a bit in amusement, “Like us debating over plastic, water, and leaves when we don’t know what we’re gonna do about the treasure.”
“Hey, you started it with the chemicals and I’m all for keeping harmful chemicals out of the body but it’s pretty damn hard with us living like it’s the pre-historic times.” Nettie snickered, resting her cheek on her arm.
Kiara shoved her hands into her back pockets, “I’ll admit, I let it slip and I didn’t mean to insult you when I know what our current situation is.”
“Is this an apology?” Nettie felt her eyes forming into slits.
Kiara twisted her lips around, “…you said my parents threw me away like I’m nothing.”
“And you also said my parents didn’t want me, which is just as hurtful because you don’t know much about me…and I don’t know much about you. I don’t know why…when JJ almost hit me with that dreadful looking brown van after I overheard what your parents did…I felt like I needed to help you. I don’t even know you that well but I understood.” Nettie was staring out into the cool river again.
Kiara didn’t know how this made her feel, hearing Nettie admit this to her but surely she felt something…knowing that she cared about her well-being just a bit.
Henrietta is a gorgeous girl to Kiara with many layers to her. She sat there in what was uncomfortable silence because the two girls weren’t sure how they meshed together. She was the confident girl with a athletic legacy to follow who walked the halls with a bounce in her step. However there was also this girl who could spew venom so recklessly, yet felt the need to help break Kiara out of a place that could potentially ruin her life.
Did Nettie not want that for Kiara too?
Kiara swallowed the lump in her throat as her eyes trailed over Nettie’s bronzed toned arms, spotting the external wound right above the crease of her armpit.
“Did they do that to you? At the camp-program or whatever—in Atlanta?” Kiara slowly sat beside Nettie, stumbling over her words while getting a better look at it.
Nettie followed Kiara’s gaze and went to cover the wound, “yes but I don’t want to talk about that—not here—not now.”
Kiara exhaled and dipped her head, fully aware that topic was a heavy one and Nettie did not want to share that experience just yet.
It was Kiara’s turn to understand, to realize that Nettie was giving only what she physically could, even if that means in portions for right now.
“I’m sorry for getting off on the wrong foot with you, constantly.” Kiara said, looking into her dark eyes before quickly staring off into the distance, so it didn’t feel as if she was being weird in doing so.
She didn’t realize Nettie staring right back at her, wanting to hold her stare.
Nettie hummed, “and I’m sorry for always having my guard up…especially when it comes to you.”
With her hand resting on top of Kiara’s, Kiara felt her heart began to drum against her chest.
Oh what a feeling?
“Here’s to trying to be better…friends? Or just better towards each other?” Kiara tested but shamelessly stared down at their hands for what felt like awhile.
What a pretty picture, how her hand felt against her’s.
Her eyes flicked up to Nettie’s, watching as the fresh drizzle of rain flew down over the both of them. To the left of Kiara’s peripheral, she could feel the heat of the sun beginning to break through the cloudy skies and Nettie was now staring up at the once gloomy sky.
Kiara just wanted to kiss her.
And so she moved her hand from underneath Nettie’s soft one, trailing it up the side of her neck while Nettie looked down at the space where their hands once resided.
“…What’re you doing?” Nettie was quizzical, although it appeared there was amusement in her tone.
Kiara cleared her throat, “can I try something and can you promise that you won’t be disgusted by my actions?”
Nettie leaned towards Kiara as she pretended to think about it, “if you’re thinking about doing what I think you are…I hope you smell nice enough, especially with how long we’ve been out here.”
Kiara’s lips fell open into a gasp although her cheeks were tinted pink at her previous idea, “you bitch!”
A laugh erupted Nettie’s lips as she reached forward on Kiara’s sleeveless loose-fitting skirt, yanking her lips right to her’s. Instantly Kiara let out a sigh of relief against Nettie’s lips, using her hand to brace herself against Nettie’s thigh. Her heart may have climbed up into her ears with the way Nettie was kissing her, as if time was all they had.
She couldn’t find herself getting tired against her lips, with her lips following Nettie’s tempo. As Nettie was pulling away, she pecked Kiara’s lips a few more times before fully settling back, leaving Kiara to touch her fingertips against her own lips, eyes still closed.
“You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do that.” Nettie rested her hand against Kiara’s hand that felt warm against her thigh, “and as usual, you took too long.”
“Wooow, I mean Huh?” Kiara finally opened her eyes.
Nettie laughed, “I liked you from the moment I saw the turtle tapestry in your bedroom.”
“I couldn’t tell,” Kiara widened her eyes with a nervous laugh, “it’s clear we have a lot to talk about then.”
“Yeah…maybe somewhere where my hair isn’t getting drenched?” Nettie folded her arms over her head like the Regina hall meme.
Kiara rested her hand on the small of Nettie’s back before gliding it up the back of her neck, “I’ll help you with it later but first…I’ll take another one please.”
“Another?” Nettie asked, turning her lips right to Kiara’s, locking them together once again.
Nettie moved to cup Kiara’s jaw with a laugh, “you’re cute Carrera. almost cute enough for me to forget about my frizzing hair but it’s not gonna work for me.”
Kiara watched in slight disappointment as Nettie hopped to her feet, wrapping her ponytail into a bun. Then she held her hands out to help Kiara to her feet, the two staring at each other in wonder.
“It was worth it.” She teased, licking her bottom lip with a squint against the sun, before nodding to the opposite direction, beginning to lead the way from the river.
Nettie shook her head as she stomped after the just a smidge shorter girl, “you have no idea what you’re getting yourself into when it comes to my pride and joy.”
“Oh, please. Don’t underestimate my magical hands,” Kiara declared before she paused and spun to peer over her shoulder, “that wasn’t a innuendo for anything!”
“Relax, before I have to calm you down with another kiss.” Nettie lightly threatened, making the tint in Kiara’s cheeks almost invisible as her brows raised in temptation.
Nettie laughed, reaching forward to turn Kiara back around by the shoulders as they trudged up the steep hill.
“Hey you guys!” Sarah greeted the two as they made their way back to the set-up.
John B immediately reached for Kiara, cradling her face much to her bewilderment, “oh, she’s good! No war marks on this one!”
“Get off!” Kiara playfully shoved the brunette away, who laughed.
John B then held out his hands for Nettie next as Kiara carried on but soon halted his movements as she told him, “Oh you do not want to do that when my skincare routines been out of whack for weeks now. Touch me with your filthy hands and you won’t see dawn.”
Letting out a low-whistle, John B stepped away while Nettie went to stand in the center of their temporary home.
“So everything went alright out there?” JJ asked, hands on his hips as everyone held their breath in anticipation.
Kiara looked over at Nettie as Pope tossed an arm over her shoulders, “I think we’re good for now, don’t you?”
“As long as you don’t disrespect my way of adjusting to this lifestyle any longer then yeah…I’ll give you your flowers.” Nettie was sharp with her words but the wink she sent Kiara’s way, was enough to let her know to play along.
“Well that was passive aggressive.” Sarah mumbled, tongue in her cheek.
Kiara glared at Nettie, “well how about I tell you where you can shove those flowers, huh?”
Cleo reached for Kiara to keep her from charging over to Nettie who laughed at her with a fan of her hand, “whoa! This hostility is really killing the vibe, eh? I thought you just said you two were good?”
“We’re works in progress but some more than others…” Nettie informed letting a few beats of silence go by before saying, “and my god you guys are so gullible!”
Kiara laughed in Cleo’s arms while the brown-skinned girl appeared just as confused as the rest.
Pope sighed and squinted against the drizzle of rain, “I was gonna say you two are going to give us some serious whiplash, especially since I saw you guys kissing down by the river.”
“WHAT?!” John B bounced on his toes in excitement.
Sarah’s joyful gaze immediately went to Kiara’s who quickly shifted her glaze to Pope with a shake of her head.
JJ laughed with a fist pump shooting into the air, “I knew it!”
“Jesus, Pope! How do you know that?” Kiara didn’t attempt to hide it.
Pope sheepishly rubbed at the back of his neck as Nettie gave the boy a side-eye underneath his arm, “I may have stumbled across you guys on my way to use the bathroom.”
“I can’t believe you’re also a nosy asshole, Pope!” Nettie pulled his arm from around her, while Pope chuckled and gave JJ a low-five.
“Welcome to the family, Nettie! This is what you get so you might as well get used to it!” Cleo hollered as everyone circled around to pull each other into a group-hug underneath the Venezuelan rain.
Nettie gagged as she was smushed together by everyone but can honestly say she’s never been so accepted by a solid group of people.
And when she looked over to meet Kiara’s adoring brown eyes, Nettie held on tight with a smile meant solely for her.

The Chase - Part 3
JJ x Reader - Rafe x Reader
TW - Strong language, night terrors, violence, torture, flashbacks, DarkRafe, forced love.
Summary: You were everything Rafe wanted, but Rafe was everything you did not want… but Rafe being Rafe he couldn’t let that happen, you were perfect for each other, he knew it would take time for you to understand… he would make you understand.
Part1 Part2
Tumblr media
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
You had been on this island for 2 days now, everything was perfect, it had gone back to normal sorta, JJ and JohnB somehow managed to create a somewhat surf board, Pope spent his days filling Cleo in on what Pogues are and why they are better then the Kooks of course everyone butting in once in a while with their opinions on them, Kiara spent her days looking after the baby turtles she found on the beach, whilst Sarah and I spent our days up in the trees.
You found a comfortable position in the tree leaning against the trunk looking out into the water, your eyes landing on JJ as he surfed the waves he claimed his head was perfectly fine but everyone knew to keep an eye on him... You and JJ hadn’t spoke since reuniting on the boat, it seemed as though you both were avoiding each other.
Use could be sat beside each other and not mutter a word to one another, even if use are the only not involved in a conversation, it seemed as though you both had nothing to say to one another but you both knew use had a lot to say... too scared for the time to come to finally let all conflict rise to the top.
“Hey” You heard Sarah say breaking your attention away from JJ and onto her as she climbs up the tree sitting on the branch opposite yours “You want to hear what is for dinner” Sarah questions raising her eyebrows, you gasp dramatically “Oh my gosh, I have no clue please enlighten me”, “Fish” She replies matching your humour “Wow I am shocked shaking it up a little aren’t we” You say sarcastically hearing Sarah’s laugh echo through the quiet beach.
“You know on a serious note I am really glad you are back” Sarah says smiling at you softly, you return the smile holding your hand out for her to take which she does “now stop being all soft” You say hearing her laugh once again.
This was a daily occurrence you and Sarah sitting up in the trees you would get an occasional Pope and Kiara joining you, but you and Sarah could sit up there all day chatting, watching the sunrise and sunsets.
“Tree hoggers dinner is done” you heard JohnB say causing you both to look down “oh yeah that is why I came up here” Sarah says climbing down, you laugh softly following her down, your bare fit hitting the soft sand below you.
You couldn’t lie you have been struggling of course you didn’t tell the others, you didn’t want them worry considering they had already saved you from Rafe, but you were so worried he would find you, you knew you hadn’t escaped him forever, the last thing he said to you was constantly running through your mind ‘so you really think if you jump overboard to save him, you are finally free, you are wrong, I always know where you are, you can’t trust anyone’ you couldn’t help but think who he could be on about, was he just saying that so you wouldn’t trust the Pogues, it was a consistent thought running through your mind.
“Y/n come on your food will get cold” You put your shoes on quickly, walking over to the fire seeing everyone already seated around it, you took a seat beside Kiara as she passed you a plate “thank you” you mutter eating your meal, everyone talking amongst themselves.
You felt eyes on you, you knew they were JJ’s they were the only eyes that could burn holes through your skin if he really tried, you looked up from your plate making eye contact with him, you could no longer read JJ like a book, he closed you off, just like you did him.
You both held the eye contact there was no expression written on your faces, just plain blank stares you were the first break it looking at the others “Right we are going to head for a walk” JohnB says taking Sarah’s hand in his as they both walk away “Oh Cleo and I actually wanted to see the turtles, can you show us Kiara” You watched the three walk away.
You knew they had planned this to happen, Pope had a phobia of turtles so he failed his excuse, you heard a quiet chuckle from JJ causing you to glance at him “Pope failed by saying the turtles” JJ says making you laugh softly nodding.
“How have you been finding it staying here, I was meant to ask you but yeah” He questions muttering the last part “I like it, it’s peaceful just the 7 of us” You answer looking out into the ocean “You know I am rather surprised you haven’t been surfing yet” you look back at him shrugging your shoulders “Just a lost passion”
You saw his face fall softly “You love surfing, was it not you who was always standing outside JohnB’s house waiting to go surfing every morning no matter the weather” you could see the confused expression on his face “People grow up JJ” You say standing up rolling your eyes, you could feel yourself getting annoyed.
“Why don’t you just try it, maybe you still like it or swimming, you haven’t been near the water since arriving” He suggest standing up with you, you snapped “JJ not everyone has to like the same stuff as you, just because we grew up near the water and I used to go surfing doesn’t mean I want to do every damn time I am near the water, can you just drop it and get over the fact I do not want to surf” You felt immediately bad, his face did not look impressed.
Even before your friendship ended this was usually how your arguments went “Alright” He mutters walking away from you, you crossed your arms huffing looking back out to the water. “You know he missed you a lot, every time we went surfing he would always say, remember when Y/n or what tricks do you think Y/n would suggest, even the day after the big fight” Pope says appearing beside you, “What happened to looking at the turtles” You say bluntly you heard him chuckle once the sentence left your lips, you couldn’t help but glance at his an amused expression on your face “Yeah I tried but not for me” You laugh softly “I would recommend talking to him like you used to, I can tell you have your guard up, but nobody here will hurt you, especially not JJ” He says before walking away.
You knew you had to apologise, take your guard down a bit but it was hard, but you really wished you could, too scared to be hurt or betrayed, you knew you could trust JJ, he was the one you could trust the most, you had to try you knew it.
You let out loud sigh turning around looking around for JJ spotting him leaning against a tree smoking ‘you can do this Y/n’ you thought to yourself, walking over to JJ leaning against the tree beside his, you saw his eyebrows raise slightly but didn’t look up from his joint “Do you mind sharing” You question seeing a surprise look on his face “sure” he mutters lighting it and passing it to you, it went back and forth until it eventually ran out.
“I’m sorry” You say breaking the silence looking up at him “I do love surfing still but it’s just the water I don’t like” You say truthfully, you had JJ’s full attention now “If you don’t want to talk about it it’s completely fine but you know I would never judge you Y/n” He says softly, you nodded “Rafe didn’t like me going out alone, and when I didn’t listen he wasn’t happy, it happened at the beginning of summer” He nods waiting for you continue.
__Flashback__
“Where are you going?” Rafe questions for the 5th walking out behind you “Rafe I just told you, I am just going to have surf it has been ages since I went” You could see Rafe getting angry, he did not like you surfing, he claimed it allowed guys to look at you.
“Well you know I don’t like you doing that, so come on you can just go swimming in the pool or something, not somewhere open wearing that were everything” You look down at your bikini, looking back at him confused.
“I am wearing a bikini Rafe” You say stating the obvious “Rafe I won’t be gone long” You say beginning to walk away again, you felt proud of yourself for sticking up for yourself but you knew he would not be happy when you went back.
You place your board down beginning to swim out, you could see JohnB’s house the twinkie outside meaning they were probably all in the house, you loved coming out to the ocean, it was a place you could relax, a safe place for you.
You were caught off guard when you saw Rafe on his surf board paddling out towards you and you wished you wasn’t in the middle of the water, knowing nobody can see or hear you due to be far out and by the look on his face you were in deep trouble.
“You are really testing my patience” He says stopping beside you “You not listening to me anymore huh, finally gaining the courage to stand up for yourself but yet you can’t even gain the courage to leave and you know why it’s because you know everyone hates you now” He mutters grabbing the back of your hair harshly, you gasped in pain.
“I remember you telling me you saw the ocean as your safe place, a place to get away from everyone and everything, and well after much thought about it I decided I just couldn’t have that” You couldn’t help but stare at him confused “The ocean is no longer your safe place baby, only I can be your safe place” You froze feeling yourself being pulled off your surf board and under the water, you tried swimming up but his grip was too strong, your body was hurting falling weaker as the minutes passed, you were tired of fighting, your arms and legs refusing to keep you up, the waves were beginning to get stronger.
You felt yourself slipping under the waves as Rafe let go of you, the next thing you remember was waking up in Rafe’s room and since that day you didn’t dare to set foot in the ocean again.
__Flashback Over__
You could feel yourself beginning to break down, your throat burning as you tried to stop yourself, you felt JJ hug you tightly from behind “Hey it’s okay, it’s okay to cry just let it” He whispered in your ear soothingly and you did you broke down, JJ slowly pulled you to the ground whispering sweet words into your ear to calm you down, you felt yourself beginning to calm down and fall asleep under his touch... You hadn’t slept too afraid of waking up and it being a dream or waking up to see Rafe, but you felt safe in JJ’s arms.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
“Y/n, JJ wake the hell up” You felt someone shove you softly you opened your eyes seeing an alarmed JohnB, you looked behind you seeing JJ still behind you, holding you against him tightly “Quick! They have found us” JohnB said.
