for context ( and actually because i got an anon once who wanted to know whether i drink energy drinks ), i don't really know that much about energy drinks/flavors because i don't really drink energy drinks.

i mean okay, i'm not really sure if it counts as an energy drink, but i will chug a guayaki yerba mate like it is the elixir of life. ( also i fully maintain that pep stan drinks the enlightenment flavor and ravenstan drinks the raspberry one -- crunchy eco kings ) my favorite one is the passion terrere one. it's like the only one that doesn't come in a can and only comes in a glass bottle...that ice cold passion terrere mate in the glass...it hits so different than the can...oh my god. so good.

and as far as monsters go, i pretty much only drink pipeline punch bc i'm a pretty pink princess and that's what hot girls drink <3 but other than that i drink black coffee because i am an exhausted teacher girlie, but that's purely for fuel. to be honest, i rarely drink energy drinks just for fun, i only have caffeine to stay upright.

which isn't a great idea...but...i am not a role model....

speaking of:

so i told riley this story the other day, bc i needed to get her brilliant genius girl insight on energy drink flavors because she is the sugar free energy queen ( riley's answer was kyle x ultra strawberry dreams and stan x ultra mango fiesta, which, everyone say thank u riley <3 )

i....was not Invicible. i was...very, very sick. i was like almost catatonic and shaking on the floor of my dorm bathroom, lmao. i had to have my roomate take a picture of me on the floor and text all my teachers what happened, which, thank god they were all really nice and laughed but...i feel like that tells you everything you need to know about me...people who think i'm their hero...i am a fucking idiot.

but!! BUUUUTTT! just for You, baby. i deep dived a lot of forums and read a lot about the flavor profiles and think...i made a pretty accurate assertion of what my kid's energy drink preferences are <3

stan the man with the plan: okay, so i think that pep stan is definitely that ultra paradise monster energy. it just seems really crisp, clean, earthy. stan also doesn't really care for sweets or sugar, so it makes sense to me that he would be drinking a zero sugar monster ( kyle is disgusted ) idk the kiwi, lime, cucumber flavor profile just feels like pep stan. please tell me you can see the vision, help.

kyle pile: hmmm...so what i've concluded with my research is that kyle pile probably likes that pacific pipeline monster that seems to taste like fruit punch <3 it has to be the full sugar ones because of his blood sugar and stan does kind of scold kyle for drinking them bc he's not really supposed to and he gets really cracked out ahdslkshd like he's really cute but stan is like oh my god bro you gotta lay down but yeah i think that one or the orange dreamsicle one, which is hilarious because the only foods stmwtp canonically does not like are pickles and artifical orange flavoring...he really loves kp.

raven: soooooo i know that i said pep stan was the mango loco monster energy, BUT RAVENSTAN IS LITERALLY THE MANGO LOCO MONSTER ENERGY LIKE HELLO??? also i feel like he is like those mexican dads that put a little tajin in whatever they're eating and act like they've invented fire heeeeeelp ravenstan is so the dad that cuts u up fruit into little shapes and pus tajin on them and feeds u them when ur sad <333 luv u raven ;-; <3 but yeah i feel like he full on turns it into a raspado its so unserious sometimes theres a shot in there, it's usually the spicy tamarind smirnoff vodka,

jersey: oooookaaaaay. so...sigh. for Obvious Reasons, pre and during rm, because of kyle's ed, he only drinks the sugar free monsters. for energy because he's exhausted ( my baby </3 ) but i also do think he thinks they taste good. i think he fucks with that ultra watermelon flavor that just tastes like the most beautiful, delectable, mouth watering liquid watermelon candy ever. i also think he could rock with the strawberry or the peach one sounds dank.

if the watermelon one isn't there it does stress him out, but he has a mental list of what one is next on the tier list, and acts accordingly. its kind of a nice change of pace but...his brain does not think that. however, when kyle is healing, weirdly enough, i think he ACTUALLY LIKES???? those coffee flavored ones??? which is Insane and everyone including tweek points and laughs at him

and also...speaking of my job. today marks the day i lose my fucking mind and write shit for this fandom because oh my god men in tactical armor my beloved

oh , and this is another silly attempt at the 5 senses fanfic challenge because i never finished my first attempt . take a guess on what this one’s about lmao /j ALSO keep in mind that this is very badly written bc it’s been a hot minute since i wrote a proper fanfic

There was about you that captured Graves’s attention almost every time you passed by or talked to him. He noticed it from day one, but he didn’t think it was such a frequent habit.

You always had something in your mouth.

Whether it be candy, a snack, or even a straw as you sip a drink, you were almost always constantly consuming something. Though, he most often spotted you with a lollipop. More specifically, a cherry-flavored one.

Afar or up close, Graves would observe you as you went about your day, more particularly your mouth. His Shadows would take notice of the way he’d eye your pink lips and they way that red sugary treat would be flush against the bottom lip. He was enraptured by your lips alone, so much to the point where he wondered to himself…

How would you taste?

He would think about it every night, when there was nothing else to think about. No work, no personal troubles, just pondering on how sweet your lips would be against his. He wondered just how sugary sweet you might just taste. He wanted nothing more than to capture your lips in a kiss and allow his tongue to explore every single inch of your mouth.

At some point, it simply consumed his thoughts entirely, going from late night ponders to wonders that would interrupt his train of thought at any given moment. He would write about it every day, any second he would get. He even bought himself a bag of cherry lollipops for himself, letting it rest in his mouth and just imagining that it was you he was tasting.

At some point, he was salivating for more than just your lips. Graves wanted to be able to taste all of you. Every last bit.

It was only during a fateful party after a mission. Spinning bottles and watching Shadows go in and out of the storage closet for seven minutes. You once more had a lollipop in your mouth. The whole night, it was like a tease to him. So when it was your turn to spin the bottle, it was a miracle to him when it pointed directly at him. It was a blur when he quickly grabbed you by the wrist and dragged you along to the closet.

Stuck in the confined space with only seven minutes to spare, he wasted no time in yanking your sweet treat from your lips, only to replace it with his own. Graves was almost as shocked as you were in that moment. You just tasted so… divine. He couldn’t stop, and neither could you. He could taste every bit of you, especially those delicious cherry flavored notes. Your taste was a drug. He couldn’t get enough. He needed more.

As much as he didn’t want to break away, he had to. Graves didn’t taste as sweet as you, but he hoped that his honeyed words would suffice as a substitute instead..

“Why don’t we turn this seven minutes into a whole night, sugar?”

* He shows you off as much as he can, but in the beginning of the relationship he was worried about what people would think of you for being with him, again being insecure

* But you have shown him many many times that you do not care, he shows you off now

* But every once in a while he keeps it more on the down low around certain people because he knows they can be brutal

* Really likes the color yellow, like a light yellow because it reminds him of you but it doesn’t match his “aesthetic” so he never wears it

* The only not dark outfit he has that he likes is a pair of really light blue acid wash jeans and a cut up white t shirt

* You go feral for it, respectfully because fuck he’s hot ya know

* He has tried to paper mache things for a D&D set but failed miserably

* No night lights but this fucker sleeps with the blinds partially open

* You beg him to let you do his makeup and he pretends to hate it but he actually loves when you do his makeup because you do well and he gets to be close to you

* Let you tied a bow in his hair ONE TIME at school and hellfire never let it go, Chrissy never let it go, you never let it go because you made him flower crowns after that

except i dont know scents??? i know like three and compare every other one with them so bear with me

side note: i love writing omegaverse for the sensory detail it adds. sex is cool, sensory detail is cooler.

spencer: alpha spencer and omega spencer are similar, but omega spencer's scent is sweeter. spencer smells like coffee, parchment/old books, & libraries. think coffee date in a cozy old library vibes.

derek: derek's scent is the sweetest of the alpha's (except for when spencer smells like an omega). that doesn't have anything to say abt his personality, but it's true. he smells like cedar and cinnamon—somewhere between fresh cinnamon rolls and cinnamon spice drinks. his vibes are a crisp, cool (but not cold) day in an orange forest in autumn with a cup of your favorite warm, sweet drink.

hotch: i don't know how to explain it, but hotch smells cozy and strong. he smells like curling up by a loving father figure next to a wood fire in a cozy cottage on a winter day. i wrote him as pine and eucalyptus—which is accurate—but i just imagine that's how it feels to smell him.

rossi: rossi has the bitterest scent, but not in an unpleasant way. he smells like wine and smoke, and gives the vibes of coming home to a fresh, home-cooked meal or getting really good advice from an old mentor figure.

jj: jj has the sweetest scent of the team. she smells like vanilla, sugar, and lavender, but it isn't too sweet. like floral tea with cream and sugar. her vibes are a mother/maternal figure listening to your day at a cozy cafe with plenty of natural light.

emily: emily has two answers, her natural scent as someone who originally presented as an alpha, and her "beta" scent. emily's scent as an alpha is like dark chocolate and the smell of a cats chin (if you've never smelled a cats chin, it smells like happiness and warmth... and a little bit like bad breath but we're ignoring that part). her scent never developed completely, but she smelled like seeing an old friend after a long time.

beta emily smells like nothing, medically, like when you're in a doctors office or some sterile place and it smells like nothing. there's no proper/"real" hrt for born-alphas or born-omegas (name in progress... idk) to achieve the natural neutrality of born-beta, and the closest you can get is some heavy, medical-grade suppressants. so emily smells like nothing. (ill probably make a post expanding on this bc brainrot.)

penelope: penelope smells like what exotic fruit-flavored candy tastes like. she smells sweet, refreshing, and warm. she smells like returning home to your pets after going on vacation.

Hokay let's go! Sorry this is so late, I've been preparing for Week 5 at uni AKA Hell Week.

John

Not a huge fan of extreme foods; generally goes for something pretty mild in flavor

He LOVES dousing eggs in seasoning though. But other than that, he's not gonna eat it if it has too much or too little flavor, unless it's necessary.

He likes homemade food more than restaurant food, and his favorite food is anything made by his dad.

He likes fruits a lot; his favorite is mango but he also likes pineapple.

He REALLY hates carrots and celery, so his dad used to mix them up so John couldn't see or taste them, thereby being unable to even pick them out.

His diet is actually...really bad. He can't cook too much. He has the diet of a university student (derogatory)

He doesn't eat candy often. I mean he likes it well enough, but doesn't go out of his way to buy any.

Seraphina

She has a huge sweet tooth. She likes all kinds of sweets. GIVE HER MANGO LASSI SHE LIKES IT

She is the opposite of John in that she hoards seasoning. She loves spice, she loves seasoning. She wouldn't eat a spoon of it, but despite her non-existent cooking skills, she has a lot of seasoning. Luckily, Elaine CAN cook so Seraphina lives her best life.

She prefers homemade food, but doesn't mind most restaurant food unless it's super small for astronomical prices. She finds it stupid.

She eats her veggies and fruits and she's pretty neutral on all of them. She has a preference for peas.

Her diet is decent; she can't exactly get rid of the "eat completely healthy" mindset bc she didn't grow up with a lot of sugar in the house, but she's not one of those health freaks that get all up in your face about not eating vegan. She eats what she wants.

Her favorite food is this chicken and mango sauce dish with rice.

Arlo

He cannot let go of the health thing completely.

To make up for it, he drinks at least 5 cups of black coffee a day.

(It's so bad that Remi bought multiple travel mugs for him so he can get coffee. This is coming from someone who has seen that in high school. I know how bad it is)

Again, doesn't like super heavy foods but doesn't necessarily complain if he gets it. He just...deals with it.

Both him and his dad are excellent cooks. Arlo could genuinely succeed as a chef if he wanted to. He's somewhat functional.

Hates sweets. Hates desserts unless it's not too sweet cake. Think Rin from Free!, who canonically dislikes sweets and will only eat dessert if it's mildly sweet.

He also dislikes toast that's too toasted. If it's too charred and crunchy, he will either slather on a bunch of cream cheese (chives and onion flavored obviously) or he will store it in a ziploc bag with some jam for Remi and make a new piece.

His diet is WAY better than John's but he's not as fit because he doesn't exercise much (he is canonically much less fit than John and out of all 6 main cast members, he is only more fit than Isen)

Remi

She and Elaine meal prep every week, so she actually eats well because of Elaine's persistence!

However, Elaine does most of the cooking (or Arlo when either of them are at each other's places) because Remi is one of the worst cooks ever. She shares this with Rei.

When I say worst cook I mean the burn water kind of worst cook She's really bad. She gets distracted and tends to take shortcuts, so that always backfires.

She loves sweets! She is good at baking and tends to adore strawberry mousses a lot.

When it comes to dinner, she eats a lot of rice. Her favorite dish is sushi, but only when the fish is cooked. She's particular about tuna.

She also adores hand foods like onigiri.

She gets her fruits and veggies; she's not nearly as bad as John but she's definitely worse than Seraphina.

There's a particular bakery in the mall she likes to go to; she loads up on stuff from there when she gets a chance to go. She would've gone to said bakery after watching the movie in episode ~45, but the ability gauger and the whole being arrested thing stopped her

Blyke

Definitely healthier than most people but not on the same level as Arlo. He's closer to Seraphina.

He eats a LOT of protein-based foods and has an affinity for lentils.

He doesn't really like salad, but he'll take it if necessary. He's not picky because he can eat almost anything. Iron stomach and whatnot.

He's classic; he likes a good burger and a shake. He prefers sitting down at a restaurant over homemade food, although his mom has great food. He's just used to restaurant food.

Not the best at cooking, but he can sustain himself.

Doesn't care for sweets or dessert, but will usually get dessert after a meal bc it feels like the right thing to do. Has a preference for ice cream.

He HATES HATES HATES carrots. Like, absolutely abhors them. So much so that he used to pick out the really tiny pieces of carrots from his food even when his mom got mad at him.

He doesn't drink coffee. He does, however, drink green tea.

Isen

Close to Remi in terms of diet, although usually has more instant noodles because he's always accidentally up due to either his research rabbit hole or his writing + homework.

He likes coffee or mocha-based sweets; chocolate + mocha is one of his favorite combos, especially dark chocolate.

He eats red meat but likes poultry more. He is allergic to shellfish so it's kind of a big issue when Remi's favorite food is sushi.

He drinks his milk. He likes chocolate milk and has a gallon in his fridge. He LOVES milk.

He eats pretty slowly because he's daydreaming a lot.

His favorite food is some kind of chicken-based dish, one of those pretty expensive ones since his family comes from old money.

However, out of the 3 in the Golden Trio, he is the best at cooking. Probably the 2nd best in the main cast after Arlo. He used to be home alone a lot bc his siblings are older and went to school in different places while his parents weren't home often due to work.

Jennifer do kids care about details? Let me ‘plain: In the chronicles of Narnia one character loved Turkish Delights. I had no idea what the hell that was and still don’t. In HP there are foods I didn’t know but they didn’t make me stop reading, I was there for the story. If I use food from my culture do I need to explain it? I feel like I can trust my audience to look things up if they care. But there also seems to be a double standard here.

The thing about Turkish Delight, or Butter Beer, or whatever, is that the authors DO explain it.

They don't explain the RECIPE or whatever - but CS Lewis DOES tell us that Turkish Delight is, to this character, the best and most delicious food he can even imagine, something so good he's willing to sell out his family for it. And CS Lewis assumes that you'll either know what it is (in which case you would definitely side-eye Edmund, bc WTF, but then you remember this was during a war and the poor thing was probably just desperate for ANY sugar lol) -- or you won't know what it is, but you'll just imagine the best tasting fancy sweet you can think of. When I was a kid, I thought it would be like Almond Roca or Ferraro Rocher -- imagine my disappointment when I tasted the real thing, which is basically... a soft flower or pistachio flavored gummy with powdered sugar on. It's fine! But it's no Almond Roca. ;-)

We may not know precisely what is IN Butter Beer, but we know from the way it is described that it must be a very nice beverage that is warming on a winter's day, that it tastes something like butterscotch and that it has a slight alcoholic content. Obviously (well, until the theme parks opened up), none of us had TASTED this, but we can all imagine what sort of a drink that would be and how it would feel to drink it. (And, like Turkish delight -- IMO, Butter Beer is better in my imagination!) -- Just like we don't know exactly what Chocolate Frogs or Fizzing Whizbees or whatever taste like, because, you know, they are fictional - but we know the idea, that they are candy, they are fun, they are delicious, kids love them, etc.

So -- IMO, if you are using food from your culture, it's the same deal. You don't need to say every ingredient or whatever, unless you are writing a recipe book -- but it IS likely that you'd at least mention how the taste/smell/whatever makes the character feel, because what's the point of adding an awesome sensory detail like FOOD that we can all relate to if you aren't going to even explore that for an instant? If I know what the food is, I'll be like "YUM" -- if I don't, I'll still get the *vibe*.

For example: Your character is making ramen. Are they making ramen because they are a broke student, and literally a 30 cent packet of ramen is all they can afford and can make in their dorm room, and they are huddled on their twin bed sipping it out of a cup while watching Seinfeld reruns on a TV that only gets one channel? OR, are they a guy nursing his girlfriend's hangover by delicately poaching an egg and chopping scallions and grating ginger or whatever, making a deluxe upgrade to the 30 cent ramen that infuses the whole loft apartment with the scent of ginger and wakes her up, so she can stumble into the kitchen and smile at him? OR are they a person whose mom was always terribly busy running a restaurant that specialized in a 24-hour simmered tonkotsu broth, so even though they have been away from home for years, the scent of broth brings them instantly back to their childhood, a mixture of comforting and sad? All three of those scenarios are technically about RAMEN -- but all three have a different *vibe* -- and even if I don't know what exactly ramen or tonkotsu broth or whatever is, I get the picture.

Where I wrote 'Indigo' you can consider it to be MC and there's kissing involved with the ones I simp for but considerable for the characters you like! *bonk* I'm sorry I'll go to horny jail after this...

Rowan

- Rowan likes being loved but she doesn't enjoy too much displays of affection - having to shake thirty hands, thanking happy birthdays wishes all day long, having to smile all the time.

- So Indigo always prepares a small birthday commemoration. She usually invites Charlie, Ben, Badeea, Barnaby, Phoenix, and Bill 💕, and they sit on an empty Clocktower Courtyard and have cake and chat.

- End of the day Rowan reads excerpts of books she was gifted outloud to Indigo.

- She fells homesick and cries looking a photos of mum and dad.

Ben

- Much like Rowan, but instead it's exclusive to Gryffindors in the common room. Gets flustered receiving presents.

- New!Ben gets mad when his birthday comes and no sign of beard on his very manly protector face. He wants his cake coffee flavored.

- New!Ben acts like he doesn't like hugs, yet won't let Indigo go - It's his birthday so she obliges.

- He wants to celebrate Fight Club style punch my face!!!

Charlie

- He likes being surrounded by friends during his birthday. They'll play Quidditch, joke around, reflect on the past year, drink butterbeer and be around each other.

- He gets red about it, but he loves receiving letters from home and friends, and if you give him flowers or any dragon related gift... he'll become a flustered mess.

- He's generally very inclusive and likes having plenty of people around to celebrate, but at the end, a little tipsy, he'll want to just sit in the Gryffindor's common room by the fire with maybe Indigo, Jae, Ben, and Rowan, opening his presents, maybe kissing someone, crying a lil - probably over dragons and his family.

Barnaby

- He more than once has forgotten it's his birthday - either because his brain is busy thinking about Indigo and dancing nifflers or bc he genuinely doesn't care.

- But when he does remember and other people don't, he gets truly upset.

- He doesn't want you to wish him happy birthday, he wants you to hug him and kiss him and make a fuss. He wants happy vibes and human contact. Though he likes receiving happy birthday wishes from professors - once Snape smiled at him on his birthday and Barnaby remembers to this day.

- Let them eat cake! He wants 'em big and chocolatey and with sprinkles and strawberries and his name written on top and candles and that sparkling thingy--

- He usually gets a lot of gifts and notes and cards, so most times he just wants a really good and warm hug and to know you care for him.

- About presents, he's this kid:

- He likes to make out... a lot. And be hugged by a creature. He'll cry if you say how much he means to you.

- He'll 100% get a sugar rush from the cake and candy and butterbeer, Barnaby is 4am go to sleep please but your shirt back on

Merula

- Will pretend she doesn't care, but will actually stab you if you forget her birthday.

- She doesn't really mind gifts cause she can buy whatever she wants with the money her parents left her. But she wants ATTENTION.

- The type to buys herself flowers and pretend it someone else.

- The one day of the year she actually puts her hair in place.

- Likes eccentric cake flavors that leaves people wondering what are they eating.

- Likes to sing 'karaoke' and play truth or dear games.

Jae

- Will make you buy something from him as a gift to him...

- It's his birthday but he gets to cook and you HAVE to taste everything he makes. Most times tastes good, so no worries.

- Birthday nap. The day everyone is prohibited to nag him and he'll drag Indigo to cuddle with him on the Gryffindor couch.

- He like surprise parties and getting fucking turnt with his friends - he'll spike the punch for sure.

- Snogging in the dark, loud music blasting, cherry flavored.

- Sleeping late!

Ismelda

- Wants to be left alone but also wants cake.

- "Is it your birthday?" "None of your business."

- It's her 'spa' day - she'll invade the prefect's bathroom with the help of the Slytherin prefect she bribed with money and is scared of her and soak on homemade bath bombs, face mask made of some weird stuff, and listen to Weird Sisters in whatever device.

- Phoenix will gift her with her favorite chocolate box and she'll act mad but then eat it all like a beast while he holds and kisses her.

- If she gets cards from her parents, she generally throws them in a fire.

- The day she finally has that pumpkin fizz with a little umbrella and a swirly straw.

Andre

- Says he doesn't care but is dying for some of your praise.

- Likes playing games, everyone let's him win at them or else...

- The cool Ravenclaws will throw him a party, he might invite you... if you're cool enough.

- Will dress to the nines!

- Likes expensive gifts.

- At the end of the day enjoys being with that special few watching the stars.

Penny

- Forces her friends to brew celebratory potions - it's Penny so people go along with it.

- She likes those treats of being woken up with kisses and the sun on her skin, special breakfast, and special activities.

- She'll get so many presents, so many flowers, so many cards - her dorm is flooded with them by the end of the day.

- She enjoys a little dance, maybe some slow dancing as well.

- She wants somebody to hold her, she wants to do something reckless, she wants to feel alive and not be perfect Penny for a moment.

- She likes fluffy cakes with fresh fruit and vanilla.

- She asks Indigo to dance with her and hold hands. She gets a little drunk and says she loves her. Luckily for Indigo, she doesn't remember the following day.

I don't know for Badeea, maybe she wouldn't tell many people about her birthday, but someone would find out and she'd be super happy with your ugly ass cake and say it's beautiful. She likes receiving fragrant flowers and art supplies.

Tulip and Tonks... pranks, zonkos, butterbeers, all day, very loud, and drunk, and sugary.

Imagine Baekyun being a student in university. It was his third time messing up the dessert he had prepared for himself as a treat for a long week of midterms, and he was running short on money for all the ingredients he acquired in the past month. Not to mention the amount of times he has been late to class after many attempts to make his own coffee in the mornings.

He sighed in defeat, taking the bowl of extra whipped cream he had prepared to the couch, as he threw himself on the furniture and ate away at it with a spoon.

"Maybe baking isn't for me. But chemistry isn't for me either...Maybe I should just audition somewhere and hope I become famous!" Baekhyun exclaimed loudly in frustration with his mouth full with slightly salty whipped cream (yes, he did mistake the salt for sugar. yes, he thought if he put 1 cup of sugar it would overpower the salt).

The following day he decided to spend the rest of his day in a cafe that Chanyeol had suggested to him.

"yeah remember when I bought like 6 iced coffees" his tall friend had texted him.

"ooooh thats where u got them from??? u let me had one sip out of 6 drinks 🧍🏻‍♂️"

"like I said, the 6 iced coffees I bought as in for me"

Baekhyun scoffed at his friend, stuffing his phone into his pocket upon entering the cafe. It was a bit smaller than he imagined, given the popularity the location receives. The place wasn't filled to the brim with customers, being that it was only noon on a Tuesday. He placed himself in the line of three people, turning his attention to the large menu hanging on the wall behind the cashier. It seemed like they were the only employee working at the moment. Their bright smile as they greeted the customers, their concentration when taking orders, and their speed at preparing drinks.

"Sir?" Before Baekhyun knew it, he was at the front of the line, eyes wide as the cashier smiled at him. "What can I get for you?" They asked.

Baek cleared his throat, chuckling nervously. "Uh..can I just get a medium iced americano, please?"

"Of course, would you like one of our signature croissants or muffins with that? They're fresh out of the oven." They smiled brightly while inputting his order into the system. How could he deny such an adorable face?

"Uhm, sure!" Baek replied a bit too enthusiastically, "I-I'll have a muffin..."

The cashier chuckled, "And can I have your name?" They asked, retrieving a plastic cup and a marker as they looked up at Baekhyun's reddened face in awe. Baek couldn't help but avert his gaze when he felt his blush spread up to his ears, "B-Baek."

They hurriedly scribbled his name on the side of the cup, "Alright, $4.13 is your total for today." Baek turned his attention back to them, "Only $4.13? What about the muffin?"

Their smile grew, "It's on the house." They winked, "And how would you like to pay?"

Ever since then, Baekyun has been coming back to the cafe almost every day. He would go there before his afternoon classes, after his morning classes, to study, he even brought his friends there a few times. Of course you had to tell them to keep it down a few times, and Baekhyun not wanting to upset you threatened to not pay for their meal, but they loved it at the cafe and they all loved seeing you there.

Today was different. You knew Baek had finished his morning class by now, and would be arriving some time soon. However, he didn't show up around his usual time. You felt a bit disappointed, 'He's probably studying.' You thought to yourself as your coworker suggested you go for break.

Thirty minutes prior to closing, Baekhyun finally made his appearance. His backpack clung to his back that was clothed in a grey hood with hands hands in the pockets of his black ripped skinny jeans.

"Baekhyun!" You said his name gleefully, pulling him into a small over-the-counter hug, "Where were you today? I was worried you wouldn't show up."

He chuckled, "Just had some stuff to do, I wasn't expecting it to take that long." He replied with a cheeky grin.

You had just closed the cafe with Baekhyun accompanying you, happily kicking his legs as he sat upon the front counter while you swept the floor.

"C'mon 'Cinderella', you're gonna miss the ball if you dont move faster!" He teased, the both of you giggling.

"Whats your rush, Baek?" With a smile, he hopped off the counter and went to retrieve his bag that resided under the table he usually sat at.

You placed your broom back behind the counter, watching Baekhyun rummage through his bag and remove items you wouldn't normally put in a school bag (a toothbrush, a comb, five packets of sugar, a tube of lip gloss and a sock). Baekhyun huffed in frustration before unzipping a different pocket of his bag and letting out a loud "aha!".

"Found it!" He grinned, pulling out a small white box. He made his way back to you, thrusting the box in your way with a blush spreading across his cheeks.

Taking the box into your hands, you looked back up at Baekhyun and saw his smile widen, eyes crinkled in excitement. You couldn't help but smile back, lifting the white paper lid and unveiling the sweet contents.

"Macarons? Where did you get these from?" You asked.

Baekhyun laughed at your response, clasping his hands together happily, "I made them!" He replied.

Your eyes widened in slight shock. Macarons werent the easiest treats to make, even you struggled with them from time to time. But Baekhyun making them surprised you the most. You two had always discussed your hobby for baking, not one day went by where Baekhyun didn't bring up a failed attempt he had at making desserts, but you knew he was trying. While the macarons didn't look perfect, they looked better than any of your past attempts at making them.

Each one was made of different colours and flavors, with little faces messily adorning each delight with black icing;

Your hand moved from your mouth to your chest, right above your heart as you looked at him in awe, "You did all this just for me?" You cooed, pinching his squishy red cheek.

He whined as he removed your hand from his face and interlaced your fingers together. "I did. "I did...I tried my best to make them perfect l-like you.."

There was a brief silence before you both broke it with your boisterous laughter, "That was so cheesy," you started, setting the box down on the counter and taking Baek's other hand in your own. "But awfully sweet...just like you."

Baekhyun felt a grin spread across his face, "That was even cheesier-" he stopped in the middle of his sentence when he felt you gently cup his face, leaning in slowly until your lips finally connected.

Headcanon: Steve has a sweet tooth. If he needs to drink coffee, it's more milk and sugar than actual coffee. He thought working at scoops ahoy would be awesome, but eventually he found the limit of his sweet tooth. Robin ragged on him the whole day after he ate one too many scoops of ice cream and started turning green.

Steve thinks ppl who drink black coffee are WACK. It’s gotta have at least 3 tablespoons of sugar and it’s gotta be the color of parchment or he won’t drink it. Everyone thinks it’s really bizarre but Steve likes it AND everyone knows it’s his coffee so no one accidentally drinks it <3 hes also really into flavored creamers!

And yes I love this concept of Steve being SO STOKED to work there, like yeah I may have to wear the hat but ICE CREAM - and then the novelty wears off within four days bc he ate so much that he can’t even stand it anymore

this is my list of kamen riders as desserts. some of them are like ready to serve at the rider diner and some are just based on the vibes I get from the character but with some small edits you could put them right on the rider diner menu

shouichi is carrot cake bc it’s a dessert but it has homegrown veggies in it. I feel like carrot cake has a simple and unpretentious vibe too. absolutely with little carrots piped on top

tendou is some kind of wagashi thats served on a leaf like this youkan. served with green tea of course. I just think tendou is very Traditional

ryoutarou is a parfait. sweet comfort food but with a lot going on. you would swap in different flavors for the different imagin. although momo could be tough bc he’s a peach but you would want some kind of red fruit instead of peaches. ura has to be blueberry bc that’s the only blue fruit. kin I think would be mostly honey flavored maybe with some yuzu. and ryuu is peanut butter and grape jelly

wataru is red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. red velvet bc its red like blood and hes a vampire, cream cheese bc it’s the best frosting. for decoration you should cover the cake with isomalt shards to look like stained glass

tsukasa is opera cake bc it’s fancy and has a lot of layers like how decade’s helmet has lines. ok I didn’t notice this pic had covfefe in th ebackground until now. thank you. anyway tsukasa opera cake would be even taller and skinnier than this with perfectly defined layers

philip and shoutarou are two scoops of ice cream, matcha for philip and milk chocolate for shou. stick a wafer thin v-shaped cookie of the opposite flavor in each one for that W look

eiji is something with sweet potato bc it’s a very earthy flavor and easy to eat while camping out. I really picture a banana bread but with sweet potato instead for him but if you want to stick with a color theme you could do ube instead. no one get on my case about how ube isn’t a type of sweet potato

gentarou is one of those huge sundaes that you need about 20 people to eat. I couldn’t find a pic of one that was quite as crazy as I’m picturing so I went with this but think about the ones that are so big they’re served in a bucket and they have every topping known to man

haruto is a little entrements dome with mirror glaze. I know if it’s a dessert haruto would want to eat it would have to be plain sugar donuts but fuck that. this is something that’s very flashy and shiny, probably with sugar crystals encrusted on the outside instead of nuts like this one. when you cut it open it’s a white vanilla mousse with thin layers of cake/jelly/custard/whatever in each of the other colors wizard transforms into

kouta is a cupcake bc they’re small and basic but you can do a lot of crazy stuff with them. sorry I called kouta basic. I think an orange flavored cupcake full of orange zest with a slice of candied orange stuck in the frosting. if you really want gaim vibes dye the frosting blue

shinnosuke should be something coffee flavored I think. bc what gets you in top gear more than drinking a nice cup of coffee. macarons are maybe a little too delicate for him but it would be really cute to do black coffee flavored macarons with maybe a raspberry filling and you pipe white frosting on them to make them look like little tires

sento’s some molecular gastronomy shit where you have to scoop up a pile of foam and it tastes like bubble gum. ok actually for sento it would be cute to do a thin chocolate sphere that you pour chocolate or caramel on to melt it away and then inside is a little cake marbled red and blue

cillian can’t drive. he doesn’t have a liscence and has no interest in getting one. he bikes pretty much everywhere and when he doesn’t bike, he walks.

cillian can’t see for shit, he’s had the same pair of glasses since 7th grade but won’t wear them because they make him look like a dork. he won’t wear contacts because he thinks touching his eyes would be gross.

cillian’s favorite band is weezer. his favorite weezer song is el scorcho bc of course it is.

cillian went through a period of time where he started every morning shift by downing a 5 hour energy and eating a churro. he paid for neither of these things. how he’s even still alive is a mystery to me.

cillian really desperately wanted to be a cool skater boy in middle school but he absolutely sucked at it. he suffered a lot of skinned knees the summer between sixth and seventh grade.

the majority of cillian’s wardrobe is made up entirely of finds at good will. he owns a lot of dumb t-shirts that say shit like “church of the holy mother annual barbecue 2016” or “women love me, fish fear me”

he’s had the same pair of beat up nikes since junior year and he’s never bothered to replace them.

one afternoon while bored and stoned, cillian figured out how to set a custom ringtone for his contacts. jude’s ringtone is handy by weird al. cillian thinks he’s funny. ( @judetaylorhq )

cillian’s phone screen i cracked as fuck but he refuses to replace it because it still works.

in a vain attempt to impress his dad, cillian decided to get a tiny tattoo of a shamrock on his ankle when he turned 18. his dad did not give a shit.

they used to call him “garbage can” in high school because he would finish anyone’s meal for them.

cillian prefers weed over alcohol and doesn’t drink alcohol nearly as often. he has a pretty low tolerance and gets drunk very quickly.

cillian’s alcohol of choice is fireball but when he’s out and feeling “fancy” he’ll order the dumbest novelty drink on the menu.

cillian always mains as waluigi in mario kart. always.

cillian’s favorite band is weezer. his favorite song by weezer is el scorcho bc of course it is.

Hi i literally had to google ice cream flavors for this because I eat coconut milk (i’m transitioning to vegan) chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream religiously

Yoosung

- mint chocolate chip

- every time you two go to the ice cream parlor, he orders the same exact thing and never tries anything new

- he eats it religiously

- keeps tubs of it at his house for when he’s late night gaming

- never shares with it with you because he literally inhales it

- it’s like this boy runs on only sugar and energy drinks

- drips on his clothes and stains them

- he has to do laundry every single time he has ice cream

- and this boy is shit at doing laundry

- is super insecure about his eating habit and gets really shy when you tease him

- doesn’t want to change though bc damn he thinks that ice cream is good

Zen

- doesn’t eat ice cream a lot because he has to maintain his body image

- gotta keep the fans happy

- however, when he does decide to cheat, he LOVES chocolate

- you have to restrain him from buying another 4 cones because you know he’ll regret it the next day

- you two make it a ritual to go get chocolate ice cream for him whenever he gets a new role

- is such a messy ice cream eater

- he’s literally a toddler he gets it all over his face

- you lick it off and he blushes

- is very happy you keep him in check and thanks you a million times the next day

Jaehee

- she is such an ice cream stan

- reminds her of childhood when she had freedom

- such a little kid

- she likes cotton candy ice cream

- gets an extra large every single time and inhales it almost as fast as Yoosung

- gets really nostalgic and talks a lot about family memories

- i’m sure his father loved him, but he never really got to enjoy the full father-son bonding experience

- his dad always brought his current girlfriend along

- or his nanny’s took him to get ice cream

- didn’t really like the thought of it

- it was a pointless sugary snack filled with empty calories that wasn’t worth it

- that was until you voiced you wanted to go and get some

- he decided that once won’t hurt

- the second you walk into the ice cream parlor, he gets a little antsy and all the bad memories come back

- he pushes through it like a trooper and LOVES IT

- it’s so much better with you around since you engage in good conversation and you actually really care about him

- sometimes starts an ice cream food fight with you which ends up with the store owner pissed and you two laughing

- has mixed feelings about ice cream

- he isn’t fully back to trusting saeyoung, so some of the memories that come back to him while he’s eating it are traumatizing

- you try to find ways around it since you know he loves ice cream

- you find more uncommon flavors that won’t induce the same memories

- things he’s never had before so the new memories with it are fresh

- and his favorite of those new flavors is

- PISTACHIO

- he likes the combinations of nutty with sweetness

- he finds it the perfect balance

- saeyoung notices and makes sure the fridge is always stocked with a fresh tub of it

- saeran appreciates it a lot and ahhh

- protect him

- is a sucker for ice cream as well

- he photographs nature a lot, which means he’s outside a lot

- and outside tends to be hot in the summer

- a perfect way to end a photography day, in his opinion, is a refreshing cone of ice cream

- his favorite is something the parlor makes called Blue Moon Icecream (yes it’s a real thing it’s on the list of ice cream flavors lol)

- he partially likes it because it’s blue and it fits his aesthetic

- he’s a photographer, you know he cares for his aesthetic

- he loves the flavor though

- he says it tastes like fruit loops and fruity pebbles combined

- takes so many photos of it

- closes his eyes the entire time to really enjoy the flavor

- gushes about it to you because you’re the only one who listens and kind of understands his obsession with it other than saeyoung
