Do remember the ask"dorm leaders s/o scared of them physical hurting them"well can you do it again, but this time only to find out why they're scared of being physical being hurt by them. Like their caretakers/parents were physical abusive to s/o and and their ex-lover was also physical abusive to them. What would they do with this new found information.Would the dorm leaders go seeking revenge on their s/o caretakers/parents and their ex-lover.
a/n: this is a pretty sensitive topic, so i'm going to try my best to write on it: it is NEVER my intention to romanticize these darker themes, but if anyone feels offended or hurt by this particular post please do reaxh out to me and i won't hesitate to edit or take it down. due to the nature of this text i will put it under a read more.
warnings: topics such as domestic abuse, child abuse, and things of that nature are mentioned here, along with general yandere topics and themes. mentions of torture , too! please be careful while reading if anything could potentially cause bad memories or emotional responses in you!
riddle rosehearts
he comes from an abusive household, even though he wouldn't admit it (and probably doesn't realize it). while his mother never used much physical punishment, he is no stranger to getting yelled at and having all his comforts taken away for the smallest mistake
when he realizes his darling came from a similar background, he'd probably take a cold hard look at himself: is he... becoming like his mother? the thought is terrifying to him- he doesn't want to be like that, he doesn't want his darling to fear him like he did his mother
although the realization would lead to him being more lenient and less punishing, he is still a toxic lover. sure, he isn't yelling at his darling for breaking rule #163- but he is still guilt-trippy, still a perfectionist deep down. it's a small improvement, though
even though he would like nothing more than to destroy those who dared hurt his darling, he'd hesitate. he knows he'd lose it if someone were to hurt his mother, even after all she put him through; what if his darling feels the same way about the people who hurt them in the past...? he feels like he shouldn't ask such a crass question, so he'll limit himself to promising to protect his darling
in short, while he is enraged at those who hurt his darling in the past, he believes they're safe now: he would never let such harm befall them again... it's another excuse to why he keeps them locked up. but if his darling's past tormentors ever as much as tried to poke their heads back into their life, it's off with their heads- and perhaps lives, if riddle can so so.
leona kingscholar
he's immediately deeply angry when his darling admits part of their fear of him comes from their past experience. he cannot stand it- his darling should only be scared of him, respect him; the fact other people even dared try to get his darling to hurt in the past makes him red with rage.
he'll absolutely track down his darling's past tormentors. does he care if his darling is scared of him? no. does it piss him off that they're scared of him because of other people? god- it makes his blood sizzle. don't mistake his rage with him being a knight in shining armour for his beloved- although he wouldn't be opposed to his darling seeing it like that
he'll kill them in cold blood, with his bare hands. this isn't a job he can make someone else do: it has to be him. he may even make his darling watch as he tears their previous tormentors to shreds. it's horribly gruesome, and it'll certainly scar his darling, but he doesn't care. if they're going to fear him, then fear only him.
azul ashengrotto
he instantly softens up with his darling when they admit this. he may not have been abused in his past, but the scars of the bullying and teasing in his formative years still weigh down heavily on him
he'll comfort his darling as he wished someone had comforted him- but this is also a good way for him to become even clingier and more obsessive... sure, he isn't being harsh or mean, but his darling is still very much a prisoner to him
he'd absolutely try to get revenge on those who wronged his darling, but he might not kill them. instead, he'll torture them (with the twin's help, of course!) until they apologise in tears to his darling- beg for mercy to them, cry- before he takes them away to never be seen.
in reality, this probably doesn't help his darling's trauma in a bit, bur for him, it's cathartic. he feels like he's wiped a dark period of his darling's life clean- aren't they happy? aren't they grateful?
kalim al-asim
he gasps and immediately holds his darling into a hug when they admit how their past was. so that was why- why despite all his attempts and gifts, they remained scared...?
kalim cannot comprehend how anyone could ever hurt his darling. they're the most beautiful, kindest and gentlest soul on earth: who would dare think of bringing harm upon them?! the thought makes him seeth with anger
he'll swear that he won't ever allow such a thing to happen again. after all, he's already protecting them (by keeping them locked in, always making jamil check up on them); he'll just double his efforts. he'll have extensive background checks on every single servant who attends his beloved just to make sure they have ZERO history of violence
it isn't hard for such a rich man with connections everywhere to find the people who hurt his darling in the past. it's also not hard to pay for their deaths: every single one of them is quietly found dead after mysteriously going missing... he won't say what he did to his darling, simply reassuring them they're safe now
vil schoenheit
do people have no shame?! he's incredibly shaken and stirred when his darling finally admits the source of their fears. people are beasts- he knows this, and that's why he keeps his darling close at all times, but to think they'd already managed to hurt them before he even knew them...!
he has no problem sending his legions of fans against anyone who wronged his darling. after all, he's seamlessly introduced his beloved as part of his image: his fans adore his darling! he's presented them as a weak, meek and adorable doll, the source of his happiness. if he as much as mentioned someone had wronged them... the fury would be immediate and direct
although vil is guilty of tearing down his darling's self esteem whenever they do something he dislikes, he'll act as if he'd never done that. suddenly he brings up how lucky his darling is to have him, who will bring justice to them- he who will make those who wronged them regret being born, he who loves them so much to go through all of this
and if one day, those past tormentors quietly day due to a scentless, tasteless, untraceable poison...? well, isn't that just a wild coincidence!
idia shroud
he cannot believe such scum exists. even he- the lowest of the low, a disgusting freak who kidnapped his darling- wouldn't dare to hurt them for the sake of just causing pain!
he immediately regrets every single physical punishment he ever gave, although it's such a rare occasion and usually something even lesser than a slap. no wonder his darling was scared! he was just a monster, right? just was bad as the others, right?!
he'll feel the need to make it up to his darling, and he can't think of any other way than revenge. if he gets rid of those who hurt his darling, can his actions be forgiven? he prays they can
his darling's past tormentors better be ready for hell- what starts as merely hacking into their devices becomes a one-man lead spionage campaign, with blakmail slowly and surely driving them up a wall. idia will show no pity- he has to make them pay. he has to, so he may one day be forgiven...
malleus draconia
it's not just men's nature that makes them hurt each other, and he knows this, but even still he cannot help but want to curse all mankind when his darling finally tells him about their past experiences
he doesn't care about reasons or circumstances- all he knows is that those people hurt his darling. all dragons are protective of their treasure, and to think of others laying their filthy hands to strike his most beloved... he can feel fire burning in his mouth at the mere thought
he'll swear to never lay a hand on his beloved- but don't be fooled, this doesn't mean that the relationship will improve. physical punishments are replaced with the torture of isolation, of taking away all the comforts he's given his darling until they beg for him
and as for his darling's tormentors... to them, after malleus learns of their actions, death would be nothing short of a blessing. the draconian man wouldn't feel a shred of pity in torturing them, breaking their fragile human bodies time and tima again. he has no pity for anyone who hurts his beloved

Match-Up #22
Tumblr media
Hello, Abby @gossamer-sky ! Also... Off, really, I may consider opening the slots at an earlier time for the next round, please don’t disturb your sleep for match-ups. >,<”
Tumblr media
Let’s start with empathy and compassion. As much as I presume the first quality would be universally desired (and as such, no points were distributed based on it), I think it may not be the case for the second one. Compassion in the times of war... It may be controversial, at times - some could take it as a display of naivete or a death-wish, while others would probably see it as a sign of still upholding hope.
Nobunaga (-1) Mitsuhide (+1) Hideyoshi (+1) Mitsunari (+1) Ieyasu (-1) Masamune (-1) Shingen (+1) Sasuke (+1)
Now, intelligence could be approved greatly by those similar in this regard (or perhaps the more-so scholarly and intellectual suitors). I think that combined with observation skills... Well, it could lead to great many things. As such, I’d like to consider those two qualities together - and to point out that it could be used both for science and reconnaissance.
Nobunaga (+2) Mitsuhide (+2) Mitsunari (+1) Ieyasu (+2) Masamune (+2) Kenshin (+1) Shingen (+2) Sasuke (+2)
Lastly, being a hard-worker would be well-appreciated by those who know how much effort it takes to achieve their goals - and by those who tend to be strict teachers themselves, I presume. HOWEVER, it is also important to know when to slow down - as such, bonus points to a certain monther hen, who could perhaps make sure of that.
Nobunaga (+1) Mitsuhide (+1) Hideyoshi (+2) Ieyasu (+1) Masamune (+1)
Tumblr media
Oof, okay, okay, let’s consider the combination of all five of those. I think it would mix particularly poorly with both Nobunaga and Masamune. First of all, their actions may be hurtful (Masamune treats the relationship very casually at first, Nobunaga never cares much for how he is perceived and does not waste time looking for delicate words). Then, given Masamune’s disregard to danger and Nobunaga’s “funny” jokes (and his tendency not to explain his intentions to MC), I would not pair them a sensitive overthinker in particular. Both are or border being perfectionists - so they may provide a skewed outlook on the matter. And lastly, they also aren’t exactly comfortable with being vulnerable and do bottle up their feelings as well. I don’t think this gives plenty chances for a relationship to develop. Then, there’s Mitsuhide - all of 5 of those, I think only the “perfectionist” trait would be left untouched (as he does tend to change his approach upon realising it wasn’t right). The reasoning from above applies to him as well.
Nobunaga (-5) Mitsuhide (-4) Masamune (-5)
To consider the traits by themselves... I think that a person who isn’t too harsh with their words or tries not to be actively harmful may be a good idea.
Mitsunari (+1) Ieyasu (-1) Shingen (+1) Yukimura (-1) Sasuke (+1)
There’s little that can be offered for overthinking, but perhaps a partner who is reliable and overall, tends to find a way out of plenty situations by himself? Somebody who could be a sort of rock of support? A person who isn’t prone to acting unpredictably?
Hideyoshi (+1) Mitsunari (+1) Shingen (+1) Kenshin (-1) Sasuke (+1)
Now, for fear of vulnerability and bottling up feelings - a suitor who is somewhat fluent in both of those and is willing to open up.
[silence]
... I guess we will have to go with suitors who are willing to learn how to recognize feelings or who already do as much as recognize them fluently.
Mitsunari (+1) Shingen (+1) Sasuke (+1)
I think that being a perfectionist was indirectly addressed in paragraphs regarding being a hard-worker, overthinker and then, in the one about vulnerability.
1st Summary:
Shingen (+6) Sasuke (+6) Mitsunari (+5) Hideyoshi (+4) Ieyasu (+1) Nobunaga (-3) Masamune (-3)
Tumblr media
Points distributed for likes:
Mitsunari (+2) - reading, mixed points for listed branches of science Ieyasu (+1) - anatomy/biology  Masamune (+1) - he loves his partner’s art and encourages them to share it Shingen (+2) - crafting, as above (Masamune’s description)^ Sasuke (+3) - reading, astronomy, crafting (given how he created some itmes, it must have been involved)
Tumblr media
Points distributed for dislike:
Nobunaga (-3) - ignoring others, arrogance, being condescending Mitsuhide (-1) - may act condescendingly  Mitsunari (+1) - he can take care of math Ieyasu (-2) - ignoring others, condescending  Sasuke (+1) - he can take care of math; he may appear condescending at times, however, he does dislike bugs as well - so those zero-ed each other out.
2nd Summary:
Sasuke (+10) Shingen (+8) Mitsunari (+8) Hideyoshi (+4) Mitsuhide (-1) Masamune (-2) Nobunaga (-6)
Only characters with positive value by their name will be considered in the final stages of the match-up.
Tumblr media
As far as I am aware, none of the remaining suitors should fall within the listed deal-breakers.
Tumblr media
Shingen (-1) - unclear communication
Tumblr media
Oof, I hope you’ve got the vaccine or will be vaccinated soon enough. Healthcare workers are in dire situation seemingly all around the world, so... I hope you will be safe. Also, I sincerely hate  how people treat tears. If anything, keeping one heart’s open is a display of strength, for it’s an easy thing to hurt and well, it isn’t exactly safe to leave it exposed like so.
But, regardless. I think that none of the remaining suitors would benefit any greater from any of those than the other. All would deffinitely appreciate a loving, caring and strong patient - and all would do their best to provide adequate support.
Tumblr media
Haha, poor Ranmaru, it seems he was rejected by so many people by now.
Final Ranking:
Sasuke (+10) Mitsunari (+8) Shingen (+7)
Sasuke:
Confessed first: Sasuke. It took him a while, though, given how he couldn’t identify the feeling at first.
Makes tea in the morning: You.
Hogs blankets at night: Sasuke.
Is the little spoon: Most often you, although it happens that you both forget to sleep entirely and then just sort of... Well, end up sleepin in any position, limbs tangled in an odd combination with the covers.
Possible points for conflict: Sasuke struggles with understanding feelings (despite being a hopeless romantic). At times, he may be a bit too direct, only realising his mistake after the words left his lips.
Free time ideas: Field research, enjoying absolutely chaotic experiment ideas, crafting together, designing items to make life in Sengoku more convenient.
Favourite date spot: Not so much a spot, but an activity - research dates, each one touching on a somewhat different topic, the data gathering phase being always equally interesting. It may very well be observing starts at night or strolling through the fields or forests in search of medicinal herbs - or perhaps observing animal behaviour? Who knows.
A secret you share: At times, although it happens very rarely, you pretend to have lost or broken his glasses - so that Kenshin has no way but to give Sasuke a day off. However, you try not to overuse it, given how he may end up being chased by his lord without them.
His favourite thing about you: How passionate you are about your work and science in general, always bringing his faith in humanity whenever it wavers.
His message to you: // late at night “Abby? Are you free now by any chance? The stars are beautiful tonight and I think I could use your opinion...”
~~
My secret here: Tumblr glitched as I was finishing to write this and of course, I did not have any back-up, so my heart almost sunk. Luckily, it was a harmless glitch.

Hello! I’m not sure if your asks are open still (please disregard this or disregard this if this would not be healthy for you to write currently!) but your fic with Mammon and Beel’s responses to an MC who has anorexia was really therapeutic to read, and I was wondering if you could do a few more reactions (with any character you feel like)?
It’s been a while since I’ve even looked at my ask box on any account, but I saw the notification for this one, and… I dunno, some cord inside of me was hit just right. It’s more than likely that my own condition has gotten worse and I need the therapeutic comfort too… whatever it is I need to thank you for giving me a chance to allow myself to enjoy doing this again. As for my other nonnie who initially requested Luci and Asmo, (whose ask will be answered after this), thank you too, I’m glad that I can be sort of help and comfort for a condition that isn’t really acknowledged enough.

Lucifer
⭐️ Lucifer prides himself on knowing much about the human condition, despite not fully understanding it; and he prides himself on knowing his darling exchange student very well… but this...
⭐️ He doesn’t notice it at first, mostly because he doesn’t care to notice at first. Themskipping out on a few meals is a bit annoying, but nothing too concerning to him as they seemed healthy -- happy even.
⭐️ He does acknowledge it is… a bit unnatural… not what they should be doing, but so long as they are healthy there should be no issues.
⭐️ However, it gets to the point where they’re skipping multiple meals in a day, and they look pale and tired all the time. They hardly have the energy to do much anymore, and they’re most definitely falling behind in their classes from how distracted they are.
⭐️ He tried to step in then, but they just told him that they were fine, and began a semi-normal eating routine again… his pride wouldn’t allow him to press any further when there wasn’t much reason to.
⭐️ It wasn’t until Satan walked into his office one day, clearly riled up and very upset with him that he realized the gravity of the situation.
⭐️ Satan explained to him what they were doing was seriously harming their body and health, and that it needed to be dealt with unless he wanted to see his darling human fade away before his very eyes.
⭐️ That is when he decided to step in because he may not know many things about humans -- not that he would admit that -- but if Satan was seeking out his help in such a fashion it must be serious.
⭐️ So he takes them aside and asks them to explain it to him, because how could they neglect such an essential part of their health? Why would they do this to themselves? There had to be a logical explanation...
⭐️ When they do explain, he’s left a bit confused, and a bit upset at himself. He could’ve done something about this from the beginning, or at least stopped it from developing so severely… but of course, he didn’t, and there’s nothing he can do but help them get better now.
⭐️ He starts by reintroducing them to food via having his brothers and himself cook up food that he knows they like, staying at the dinner table with them until they finish their plate entirely.
⭐️ He also begins taking time out of his work to listen to them and better understand their situation, while also quietly assuring them that they are not alone, he is there and he always will be.
⭐️ He takes everything on himself because it’s, in his eyes at least, the best way to deal with such an issue. If he can watch over everything, he can be sure that they are taking great care of themselves.
⭐️ And, of course, he assures them that their body is only a small fraction of what makes them his human. No matter if they were underweight, overweight, anorexic, or not he loves them and he always will.
⭐️ His pride may get in his way sometimes, but when his human is involved he will always find a way to overcome it and care for them as they need.

Asmodeus
🌸 Asmo is more than likely one of the first brothers to notice -- or acknowledge he notices -- just after Mammon and Satan, who notice near immediately.
🌸 However, they seem to at least be eating a bit, and their personality and beauty still shone brightly to all of them, so there really shouldn’t be any reason to worry… right? Right?
🌸 He doesn’t want to bother them if nothing is wrong, because as long as they’re a healthy weight they’re doing fine, so he doesn’t have to worry at all!
🌸 No, the truth of the matter is Asmo is worried, seriously worried about them. Eating too much wasn’t good for the body, but eating too little was even worse in his opinion. The physical effects were so much more damming to them, and it was so scary to watch it happen.
🌸 He notices that they’re a few sizes smaller than they usually would be, their complexion is sickly and pale, and their eye bags and little marks that would normally be unnoticeable seemed to stand out on their skin.
🌸 They weren’t looking good, needless to say, and it made him panic a bit. He didn’t want to see his adorable human rot away from something that could be helped.
🌸 As someone who, in the past, had struggled to find a balanced way to keep up healthy body weight and shape that satisfied his perfectionist mindset, he understood what they were going through better than any of his brothers.
🌸 Which is why he doesn’t let it go further than skipping a few meals before he decided to step in. He doesn’t want them to suffer through this kind of thing any longer than they already have, he just wants them to be happy and feel loved.
🌸 So, of course, he has a spa night. Just the two of them talking and having fun together where no one could bother them, and that’s when he asks them what’s been going on. And he listens intensively to every word they have to say, wanting to understand what they’re going through more than anything.
🌸 After they’re done, Asmo wordlessly brings them into a hug, allowing them to cry or calm down or just think for a moment about what they just admitted before Asmo said anything to them. He just wanted them to know that this feeling was okay and that they shouldn’t be ashamed to feel.
🌸 He spends the rest of the night making them feel loved -- no not like that -- telling them how beautiful they are, how much he loves them, and how much he thinks they deserve from the world.
🌸 After that he wakes them up early so they can devise an eating plan that they think would work well for them because they shouldn’t be starving their body of the essential nutrients that it needs. And they work for a very long time on this plan because they deserve nothing but the best, and Asmo is damn determined to give that to them.
🌸 With him its constant affection and reassurance that they’re doing great, even if they skipped a meal or messed up a bit Asmo is right there to figure out what went wrong and assure them that they can do better next time
🌸 Overall he’s surprisingly gentle and caring with the situation, wanting more than anything to make them know that they’re loved and they can get through this by themselves, if not with a little encouragement from him and his brothers.

Belphegor
🐄 He is absolutely the last of the brothers to notice and the last one to take action, partly because he genuinely didn’t notice a change in behavior and partly because he thinks that someone else will deal with it so he doesn’t have to.
🐄 Of course things don’t go in his favor, none of his brothers know how to deal with this kind of situation, or they all think since they’re his human he should be the one to deal with it… and… yeah fair, but it seemed like a bother.
🐄 Yeah, Belphegor isn’t the most… sensitive to this issue… he’s actually pretty damn rude about it for a long time. He doesn’t get it, “If you need to eat then eat, don’t starve yourself for no reason, you stupid human.”
🐄 He only gets worried when he notices that their physical appearance has changed because if even he is noticing then it’s getting to a point where things need to change and they need to change fast.
🐄 Only problem? Belphie doesn’t really know what to do about it, he’s never really dealt with things like this. He and Beel had never had issues with their appearances or their eating habits -- well Beel was a special case in that regard.
🐄 So, surprise, Belphie takes time away from napping to do some research on this stuff, because while he thinks it’s dumb he does want his stupid little human to take care of themselves, or else he wouldn’t have a stupid little human to love.
🐄 With a bare minimum understanding of the disorder and a genuine want to help, Belphie decided to ask them about what was bothering them so much that they weren’t eating the nice food everyone was making for them.
🐄 Well, to say he was annoyed with their answer would be an understatement, he was angry. How could they think so little of themselves, he wouldn’t be so infatuated with them if he thought so little of them.
🐄 He assures them that their body size shouldn’t matter at all, because that’s not why he likes them in the first place, albeit a bit rudely.
🐄 His approach to it is aggressive but loving and a bit annoyed at the thought of them not taking care of themselves. He just wants them to be happy and healthy that’s all, he just doesn’t know how to express that in normal ways.
🐄 He asks his brothers for help, especially Satan and Beel, since he trusts that they would have a better understanding for such a topic than he ever could.
🐄 Beel helps by setting up a workout and sort of introducing them to foods slowly again, he’s by far more gentle than Belphegor with this kind of stuff and has a much better way of reassuring them.
🐄 As for Satan, he’s just more educated on this and Belphegor goes to him for advice on how to help more. What’s the best types of foods, what kinds of ways can i reassure them? stuff like that.
🐄 Overall the approach is lazy, sloppy, and a bit harsh, but it’s clear that he’s doing his best and just wants them to be happy in the end all.
Thank you. Hope you enjoyed.

My freaking opinion on the sign
Tumblr media
Hoy hoy hoy ! I’m here simply because i read a lot about astrology and i wanted to gave my opinion too (nothing stop me after all). Since i’m a bitch for astrology (and simply a bitch), i take a good care to ask almost all my friend about their natal chart so i could just read about them, having information to see if it was accurate to they behavior.
SO this is what i feel for each sign
BIG DISCLAIMER : This is MY opinion. This engage only me, me and... well, me. It’s not my fault if you felt attacked by my opinion after you’ve been curious enought to read MY opinion. (like, seriously, grow up)
Now, if you’re enought open minded to read and spit the tea with me about astrology, I would be happy to do so. By the way, I’m one of those you think that sign have both side like a coin ; and they energy are actually pretty different in some way.
And i propose you a little game : by the description i do of the sign, wich sign do you think I am ?
(based on PEOPLE I KNOW AND KNEW)
Aries : Pain in the ass because of they behavior. They always tend to say they are right, and thus need to go straight into the wall to finally admit they were wrong. Don’t get me bad, they are pretty inteligent, but it’s seems like they do not know how to learn from they mistake them made except if you point them out for them. I know an Aries that is pretty toxic, as much as i know one that is a good person. And let me tell you, they have enought energy to defend you, or to drown you. Pretty coleric. I don’t get along with Aries anyway.
Taurus : Same as Aries. I know some, and let me tell you that they are kind of annoying. Indecisive about change, don’t know what they want, they seems completely lost when you change their routine. Then cling to every person when they can. Some are also very stuborn (to throw themself out the windows -true story i know from a taurus-), but they are also down to earth a LOT. The taurus i knew were nice, but also problematic, it’s all cold or hot. And also, they are very bad at communication ; like.... A lot. They also tend to answer you everyday for a week before disapear for months. Otherwise, they are open-minded and simple. One of the few very nice person i knew were a Taurus.
Gemini : I can’t, and belive me I know someone close to me as a Gemini. And i can’t. Don’t know what they want, but act like they know what they want. Always changing they way of life, but always doubting too. Always playing hot and cold. *rolling eyes and do the mind blowing action*
Cancer : Harsh with you. They supposed to be turn to familly, but not in the fluffy way. They will act hard on you if they think you need to become tougher (because life’s a bitch). They will act the way they think it’s good for you, and will never feel bad for it. A cancer is also very rensentful. But a good person in the end. I’ve never being in an argue with a cancer.
Lion : Remember when i said i couldn’t stand a Aries ? *stare in the camera like in the office* Well, same way goes to Lion. They are too needy of validation and resentful. Worst than cancer while they can’t admit they are wrong. To the point to get themself in danger, or in a bad state of they life, to be right. They’d prefer to continu through the path they made than go back and follow you. Do i smeel wrong placed ego AND pride ? Yes. They need to be better than you, shine as much, if it’s not more, than you.
Ok, maybe I spit too much tea. And I know all lion aren’t that bad. I knew one that were just doing his life and looking for pride in his work and were doing well. They just needed the light, but would be happy to help your voice get heard. But from the two with who i were close, the friendship were pretty toxic.
Libra : I don’t know much about them. I knew a guy who were Libra and i knew it before he said his birthday. He was taking care of him, his image, showing himself. I mean, like every libra. Kinda narcisic tho.
Scorpio : I don’t know if life wanted to show me each side of almost each sign, but with scorpio it also the same. All black or white. While i know a scorpio that is very helpful, loyal, nice and -oh my- they know what they stand for (and you don’t want them to fight against you belive me). While they other way around is just so vicious and horrible. Manipulating and turning people around against you. If a scorpio don't like you, they gonna made it understandable but act like nothing happening ; the only two of you will know what is it about. Also, they throw spike at you, pushing where it hurt. The bad side of a scorpio manipulate a lot, be carefull. But if it happen to be the good side of a Scorpio, never loose they trust ; first it’s pretty difficult to win it, but if you get it you will have a strong allie with you.
Sagittarius : Well... All i know about sagittarius is that they are cliché on one point : from the sagittarian (and placement of them i know can affect the behavior) they all want to travel. From saying they want, to got straight living for months in another country, to planned a trip a month before going to, they love traveling. Otherwise i didn’t read enought about them to see the characterial behavior of a sagittarian and see if it’s accurate to their sign y’know ?
Aquarius : Either a lovely af or so hard to handle. For a part of my life i was around FOUR aquarius at the same time. Can you imagine how much it’s to handle four aquarius ? *see flash of the war*
Well... maybe i’m over reacting,BUT i can tell you i could see that they were aquarius. So curious, but mastered they hobby (if not, then they were trying to). So much energy. Always needed to be in a new project, trying new things. If it’s your friends, be honnest, in one of the side of an Aquarian, they can smell bullshit. Or... not at all. It’s all or nothing with the sign ; wich isn’t a bad things for them since that mean they know what they want... But they mind turn around quickly because of boredom if it don't go fast enough. And also, they love weird shit and supernatural things. They are all original in they own way that so fucking true. And be careful, if you go against them, saying they are wrong, you gonna hear about that. They hate it, it directly go against they ego. AND ALSO THEY ARE BAD AT HUMAN. But we love them so much for their weirdness (and they hidden soft side).
Piscies : Must be protected, or no. They are thougher than you thought, but keep so much inside. They are emotional, that true. And nice. But don't break they trust. They are pretty sensitive in both good and bad way. But they are always here for they friend, and always here to listen to you. Maybe they tend to get your problem on their shoulder (it’s a characteristic of a piscies), and they also get involved in your story a lot. But it’s they sensitive way, and the fact they love they friends a lot. They also often have their head in clouds
Capricorn : Pretty hard to live with BELIVE ME. A capricorn is always so secretive and it’s hard to understand them. They hardwork a lot, or like to stick on a project. They love to learn. And are very stubborn (it's pretty competitive between an aries and capricorn to know who will be the best). They also are pretty weird (cf :Norman reedus is a capricorn). A capricorn while be bad at human too, it's pretty difficult to handle emotion. If you ask for advice, they will help you act for you situation to go better because they have a hard time to deal with human emotion. They also can be feel as cold and detached. They are the type to bring work at home and work at home and forget their life and Hobbie. They are also weird, but not in the cute way (like aquarius),, more like wEiRd and sometimes cringy,, They also like quality things, and rather have quality over quantity. And,,,, can easily get addicted to soft drug like coffee or nicotine.
Virgo : (editing cause, shit, I forgot virgo sorry) Virgo is a pretty difficult type to live with. First of all, they are maniac with cleaning (the one I live with is uncontrollable about that). They act strictly firm and thought... Or... The other way around. But they are straight in their boot and like disciple. They are perfectionist too, and hard worker (not as much as a capricorn, they like to keep they life split in two between hobby and work), still they are the type to sometimes bring work at home, but they're are very organized about it. If they can't keep things organized, they might choose a job they can be completely separated from they life. And if they want something, they will fucking work that out (they might be pretty good layer if they want to). They are also down to earth. Emotionally : virgo are lost, all of nothing and a little bit stubborn (they will listen to you and applying what they think you said was right in your back. And they will come back with feedback about how your advice turnout). Virgo are also pretty difficult to understand. From the one I know they excuse themself with gift, and are either cold or clingy. They are the most prone (of all the zodiac sign) with taurus, of liking to have a organized and routine life.

Leo Compatibility
LEO + ARIES (MARCH 21 - APRIL 19) ♥♥♥♥ Aries and Leo are Fire signs who love drama, passion and extreme adventure. You're a flashy, outspoken duo that plays by your own bold agenda. Restless souls, you need lots of physical and intellectual stimulation—politics, inspiring conversations, startup businesses—you'll juggle them all, making it look so easy. Of course, your emotional meltdowns require a team of therapists and devoted friends to fix, and you should keep those folks on speed dial. Adrenaline is your favorite drug; no surprise Aries Jennifer Garner and Leo Ben Affleck fell in love while co-starring in the action flick Daredevil. Like this Hollywood pair, who refuses to walk the red carpet together on principle, you respect each other's autonomy. Fire signs are by nature independent. You both need to make your own mark on the world, and you don't like anyone stealing your shine. In fact, trouble starts when one of you eclipses the other's big moment or makes the other look foolish in public. Rule number one: don't compete. With your rash tempers, it won't end well. Instead, be each other's biggest fans and champions. As the relationship progresses, put more effort into dressing up, especially if you become parents. Because you're so comfortable together, you could end up bumming around in burp cloths and track suits, dulling the sexy edge that attracted you in the first place.
LEO + TAURUS (APRIL 20 - MAY 20) This dynamic coupling is as stable as a batch of homemade explosives. Yet, you can't resist mixing those chemicals just to see what happens. The sexual pyrotechnics alone are certainly tempting. You're both proud, fierce and egotistical—two incurable hotheads—and you're attracted to each other's showy flair. When it's good, it's damn good: you get all the affection, doting and hero-worship you crave. You love to glam up like rock star royalty and paint the town together, drawing attention wherever you go. In fact, your shared vanity may keep you together past the relationship's prime. Sex is animalistic and hands-on (keep ointment at the ready for bites and scratches), and best enjoyed in the monogrammed sheets of the finest hotels. With your combined charisma and willpower, you could overthrow a midsized government, or form your own totalitarian regime. Bad days are brutal, though. The Lion assumes he's in charge of everything, but nobody bosses the Bull around. You both dig in your heels and go for the kill. Drama, shouting, and ego showdowns are your favorite weapons of mass destruction, and woe betide the day you turn those on each other. You're both capable of enacting a scene that brings down the house. Security!
LEO + GEMINI (MAY 21 - JUNE 20) ♥♥♥♥ You make great friends, since you both love to gab about everything from the Times to the tabloids, Ferragamo to flea markets. Conversations are fever-pitched and fascinating; you're both well-versed culture hounds. Romantically, the temperature may be tepid, though. Leo is a Fire sign ruled by the blazing Sun—the regal Lion wants to be consumed by passion, heat, devotion, attention. Gemini is an Air sign driven by speedy, information-gathering Mercury. Listening to The Leo Monologues, which span from political diatribes to emotional melodramas, is sheer torture. When Gemini dares to interrupt the King or Queen, suggesting that s/he actually GET TO THE POINT, hell breaks loose. Leo must learn to take Gemini's tough love and unvarnished feedback in stride, not as an ego assault. Unconventional Gem should assent to traditional romantic gestures: red roses, the Tiffany bauble du jour. Learn to adapt. Gemini rules the hands, and will need to put them on affection-hungry Leo more often, since the Lion is greatly reassured by touch. And yes, as an Air sign, Gemini will need to blow a little smoke you-know-where; Leo can be a nightmare without regular doses of praise. Gush and flatter—it won't be the first insincere thing to pass through Gemini's lips. Leo should keep a battery of patient friends on speed dial. Gemini may have multiple personalities, but as a romantic partner, s/he can't be your de facto shrink, psychic hotline, career coach, parent and social director. Spread the demands around.
LEO + CANCER (JUNE 21 - JULY 22) Can you say drama? Between Cancer's moods and Leo's ego, you're a camera crew away from being a reality show—the kind that makes you want to change the channel, only you can't leave the crash scene. Harsh but true. Your signs are both needy and bossy, but in different ways. Cancer is insecure and possessive, and this sign's sensitive Water element can quench Fire-sign Leo's excitement. Leo rules the zodiac's fifth house of drama, and suffers from a terminal case of what relationship expert Alison Armstrong calls "center of the universe disease." Cancer is ruled by the fluctuating moon, Leo by the sun. You literally can be as different as night and day. However, your knee-jerk reactions and hair trigger tempers cause the same amount of destruction. So what works about this match? It's packed with passion and romance, something you both adore. Cancer and Leo are heart-driven signs, and emotional highs are your breath of life. For all the crashes, meltdowns and train wrecks this causes, you remain fiercely, enigmatically loyal. Self-awareness is crucial to this relationship's survival. You both need to take responsibility for the drama you're capable of stirring up. In the best cases, you'll meet after you've learned to temper your emotions, or even better, logged a few dedicated years of therapy.
LEO + LEO (JULY 23 - AUGUST 22) Welcome to the jungle. Two hungry Lions can consume each other with passion, or destroy each other with pride. The relationship begins as a gushing praisefest, and you quickly form a mutual admiration society. Sensing a kindred spirit, your receptors start whirring and purring. You'll spend hours in fiery dialogue about everything under the sun, pouring on the flattery. Lust spawns as the conversation reaches a fever pitch, and soon your hearts eclipse all common sense. Remember "Bennifer"—the Leo-Leo coupling of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck that spawned the celebrity name-combining trend? Or the Oval Office cigar-caper-that-wasn't-really-sex between Leos Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky? 'Nuff said. Leos love to spoil and indulge your mate—but watch out, or you could create a monster. On the savannah, the lioness is the hunter; the male prowls the territory and sleeps up to 20 hours a day. Leo men can quickly become lazy and indulgent, while Leo women toil tirelessly on their omni-empires (think: Madonna, Martha Stewart). In rare cases, you can become a gruff, curmudgeonly couple—like two disenchanted cats who hiss and scratch, but stay together for nine lives anyway.
LEO + VIRGO (AUGUST 23 - SEPTEMBER 22) You're playing with fire here—literally. Passionate Leo is a Fire sign ruled by the Sun, and his solar power can light up a universe. Virgo is a practical, skeptical Earth sign who can throw dirt on Leo's flames before they have a chance to combust into a world-changing wildfire. It's a shame how quiet and subdued the awesome Lion becomes around Virgo. The problem? Leo is addicted to praise, and needs constant encouragement from his mate. Virgo is the zodiac's perfectionist; his critical nature can cause Leo to shrink-wrap himself into diminutive proportions. Think of Leos Madonna and Jennifer Lopez, and their marriages to Virgos Guy Ritchie and Marc Anthony. Yes, they had children with these men, which is important to the family-oriented Lion. However, both megastars toned down their flashy, go-getter images to play wifey. This dynamic must be avoided at all costs. Virgo's earthy nature should be no more than terra firma beneath the Lion's feet. In turn, Leo must shore up confidence, rather than take flaw-finding Virgo's feedback to heart. While Virgo is the helper sign, a codependent vibe can quickly form if he tries to manage Leo's demanding, dramatic life. Your signs are completely different; what's good for the goose is dead-wrong for the gander. Live and let live.
LEO + LIBRA (SEPTEMBER 23 - OCTOBER 22) ♥♥♥♥ You're a pretty pair, attracted to the other's good looks and charm. The courtship phase has all your favorite trimmings: massive bouquets delivered to your office, iPod mixes of your favorite angsty love songs, sonnets inspired by your affection. Leo and Libra are two of the zodiac's most romantic signs, and you love everything to be pleasant and harmonious on the surface. The challenge comes when it's time to get real. Rather than show your unpleasant humanity, you coat issues in saccharine, avoiding touchy topics to keep the happy vibes flowing. However, the artificial sweetness soon leaves a bitter aftertaste, especially for Leo. The Lion is a Fire sign, with a much more passionate disposition than cooler Air-sign Libra. Leo is pushy, Libra procrastinates, and you can get caught in a dance of anger as a result. When truly upset, the Lion roars. Libra can bellow right back, but he's more likely to withhold attention, the thing that Leo most craves. Leo's demands for affection, praise and validation can drain Libra after a while. Dramatic highs and lows tip Libra's scales off balance, inciting a passive-aggressive backlash. It starts with locked doors and escalates into Internet porn or even affairs if Leo doesn't get the hint. You may be better off as friends if you can't get beyond this impasse.
LEO + SCORPIO (OCTOBER 23 - NOVEMBER 21) This combustible combination drips with power plays, a white-hot dynamic you find infuriating and sexy in equal measure. In many ways, you're complete opposites. Secretive Scorpio is a private soul who rules the night. Leo is an exhibitionist ruled by the sun, and his piercing rays expose Scorpio's hidden shadows. Scorpio hates to feel this vulnerable—especially in public—yet, behind closed doors it can be thrilling. You're both passionate and imaginative in bed, with very little you won't try. As business partners and collaborators, you can make a dream team, too. You're both super intense, outdoing most people with your drive and focus. Leo plays the glamorous showstopper, and Scorpio acts as producer behind the scenes. (It worked for Leo Jennifer Lopez and Scorpio Diddy, who collaborated on her breakout album.) At least you don't compete for the spotlight, which can be a saving grace. But you'll struggle for the upper hand, since Scorpio likes to be in control and Leo is the bossy ruler of the jungle. Flirtatious, charismatic Leo can also spark Scorpio's jealous streak. Remember: darkness absorbs light. Leo must be careful not to get swept into Scorpio's powerful undertow and vengeful obsessions.
LEO + SAGITTARIUS (NOVEMBER 22 - DECEMBER 21) ♥♥♥♥ This is a lively match of two compatible Fire signs, filled with fun and adventure. As lifelong learners, you both juggle many projects and interests, often running on fumes. While neither of you is around to keep the home fires burning, conversation and creativity are far more important to you than starched linens and home-cooked meals. You'd rather enjoy takeout from your favorite ethnic restaurant when the fridge gets empty, or sleep under the stars when you run out of clean sheets. Living on the edge is fun, as long as you don't fall off the cliff, especially with finances. During stressful times, you can exhaust each other, as you both can be emotionally demanding and dramatic. Leo needs more personal attention and praise than Sagittarius, but the truthful Archer doesn't give false compliments. He should learn to sing Leo's praises, if only to prevent time-consuming emotional meltdowns. Consider the benefits: a little acknowledgment keeps Leo purring for days, and gives Sagittarius uninterrupted time to read, start businesses, edit his documentary film. When life gets routine, mix it up with a spur-of-the-moment road trip, a long hike or a night at a decadent boutique hotel.
LEO + CAPRICORN (DECEMBER 22 - JANUARY 19) You're insatiably attracted, but you often end up hurting each other through a series of misunderstandings and ego battles. Leo is ruled by the confident Sun, Capricorn by self-doubting Saturn. That's just the start of your differences. Leo is a starry-eyed Fire sign who believes that anything can be achieved by sheer willpower and the refusal to take "no" for an answer. Capricorn is a traditional Earth sign, equally ambitious, but rarely willing to color outside the lines. He approaches life like a steady Mountain Goat, taking tentative steps toward his ten-year goals. Your different pacing could drive you both mad. Although loyal Capricorn is usually the stalwart partner in relationships, Leo is far more devoted in this match. Lusty Capricorn is mostly interested in sex. While you'll have plenty of hot romps, Leo can mistake Capricorn's physical attraction for love. Oops! The Lion must perform due diligence, and assume nothing. Unlike Leo, Capricorn's love is hard-won, not something he hands out like candy to Trick-or-Treaters. Then, there's the cheerleading that grates on the Goat. Leo urges Cap to believe in himself, which the Goat laughs off as fluff ripped straight from a cheesy self-help tome. Yet, lo!—Leo follows Covey's seven steps and becomes a highly successful person. Instead of congratulating Leo, war is declared: Capricorn scoffs at Leo's dreams, and Leo sets out to prove Capricorn wrong ("I'll show you!"). Before long, you stay together just to spite each other. What's the point?
LEO + AQUARIUS (JANUARY 20 - FEBRUARY 18) These opposite signs can be volatile match. Leo is the sign of the self, a born star and showstopper who commands attention wherever he goes. Aquarius rules the zodiac's eleventh house of groups and society—he's both the class president and its rabble-rousing radical. You're competitive spotlight-grabbers who can fight dirty, especially as you jostle to outdo each other. Case in point: Leo Whitney Houston and Aquarius Bobby Brown. Their destructive, drug-addled marriage brought Whitney's singing career to its knees. Yet, Leo is a hopeless romantic filled with haughty pride, standing loyally by a mate, fiddling while Rome burns. You both spark each other's jealousy, Leo by flirting with everyone in sight, Aquarius by treating his bazillion friends as though they're on equal par with Leo (they are). Leo is needy, demanding constant attention, but cool-headed Aquarius feels smothered by too much affection and togetherness. Aquarius will listen patiently to Leo's dramas, but only to a point. Leo must keep a stable of supportive friends on hand, and not turn the relationship into an exhausting soap opera script. Aquarius will need to show a little more emotion (besides anger) and tenderness, stepping aside to allow Leo's star to shine.
LEO + PISCES (FEBRUARY 19 - MARCH 20) Your signs are very different, but you can eventually gel into a lasting relationship. Pisces is a flowy, sensitive Water sign who needs a decisive mate. Confident Leo, a Fire sign, is a natural leader, eager to rule the relationship. Because Pisces takes longer to articulate his needs, Leo could mistakenly assume he's got the upper hand, and that Pisces is content to follow. Not so fast. In your own ways, you both wear your hearts on your sleeve, but you need to tune into each other's sensitive spots. You're incredibly romantic, and the tender passion between you is great in the beginning. However, you may hit a dry spell when it's time to get truly intimate. Secretive Pisces feels so vulnerable when his soul is exposed, and may lash out at Leo in an unconscious reaction to the Lion's strength—for example, criticizing Leo's appearance, weight or intelligence. These cruel barbs are actually just a projection of Pisces' own self-doubt, but they plunge a thorn in the Lion's paw no less. Pisces must work through the tedious knots of his insecurities, which lay deep in his psyche. Leo is a powerhouse who can run the show with his eyes closed, but he'll do best to step aside and give the Fish his chance to shine. Shy Pisces is a true creative force, but his brilliant imagination and keen intuition can be eclipsed by showy Leo. Work through this. Luxury is a weakness for your signs, and you love to indulge. You may need to take courses on money management together, or team up to make a fortune so you never have to worry about it.

It's clear Anna and Elsa have loved each other since ALWAYS, because they grew up together (partially), and I've seen a lot of fics develop their romantic relationship from that point, their feelings evolving towards that direction.
But i wonder, if they didn't know each other, what would they find attractive about the other? What would first attract them to each other? What would make them love each other? Because non-familial love is always conditional (as all healthy non-familial love is), so there must be a reason for them to love each other. Shared experience and the gradual development of a bond is a great answer but I'm thinking more about the particular personality traits, for lack of a better word, that make them want to spend time together or even like each other at all.
I can very easily see why someone would be attracted to Anna because ngl she's pretty much my type. Funny, energetic, idealistic, a heart full of love and kindness and courage. Not afraid to get dirty or engage in risky physically activity. I think what I admire the most about her was her willingness to do the right thing, no matter how painful. Watching her try to destroy her own home simply because it was the correct thing to do sent chills down my spine because thats exactly what I admire in a comrade. Someone willing to sacrifice individual happiness for the good of the community.
(Oof getting pretty lefty latina on main let's go back to frozen)
But for Elsa? I mean, most of her character development revolves around her powers and the trauma related to them. It's reached a point where it's impossible to tell where the powers end and Elsa begins. I do think this is intentional and it's not a bad writing decision, even I personally would rather explore who she is as a person and a human being in a way that doesn't revolve entirely around her powers and trauma.
I remember making a post about it? You can read it here and it's basically about how Elsa deserves better than becoming a norse godess: she deserves to he a normal woman among normal people. It makes more sense in the post go read it
So that's what i'm gonna try to do! As you can see no structure no essay only unorganized thoughts posted in tumbrl dot com for everyone to disagree with
I mean from canon we Uuuh well this is going to sound like a no brainer but Elsa is a very careful person. With other people not with herself lmao but you can see in every scene with how much care she treats others. This is usually physical care, because she was raised to believe emotions didn't matter and physical safety was the most important thing, and this is why she repeately ends up hurting people's feelings, all in an attempt to keep then physically safe (rejecting Anna at the party TWICE, both events clearly hurting both. Sending Anna away on the canoe (NOT A KAYAK), which again is painful for both sisters). But if you look at the bigger picture you can observe there's much more than that. From the beginning she spoils her little sister and takes care of her as kids, and through Frozen Fever she cranks up the spoiling to eleven, because she actually loves to see Anna happy. It's very painful for Elsa to reject her. You can see it at the party and during the canoe scene. Actually she loves to see EVERYONE happy. At the end of Frozen i, during OFA and at the beginning of frozen ii she spends time with her people literally making toys for children like fucking Santa Claus, creating an ice skating rink in her own backyard and organizing a fest for everyone to eat for fucking free (two fests, actually. maybe three? Can't remember) i mean what kind of queen does this?? She's way too nice. Even when people are trying to kill her her first reaction is to beg them to stay away so she won't hurt them. She makes it clear she's hiding in the mountains not because she's scared of being hurt (WHICH IS WHAT GRAND PABBIE PREDICTED WOULD HAPPEN). She's hiding because she doesn't want to cause harm. She's trying to fucking protect the people who want to kill her. In frozen ii her first reaction to seeing the tiny dragon is trapped is to offer him a hand and play with him because she's just that nice. She later cuddles a baby reindeer. Oh and in FF she's being mom friend on main by mothering kristoff and olaf as well. Remember she bought him a new sledge and invented a whole new job for him when she could do it herself with her magic? Now she's wiping the paint from his face. You know, like a mom. She even does it in thay gross mom way, licking her thumb and smearing the saliva all over ew ew my mom did that every time i got food on my face its gross. I wonder how kristoff didn't get a cold too that shit's contagious. Anyways, conclussion: while i think her desire to protect people was exacerbated by her trauma, i do think she always had it on her. She likes making people happy. She makes fucking toys for children is she a queen or a toy factory. She likes to spoil everyone around her. And I think this is partially because she wants people to like her. You can see how much it hurts her when people think badly of her ("you only know how to shut people out"). Later, seeing her people scared of her is what makes her run away. Hans telling her not to be the monster everyone thinks she is is what stops her and snaps her back into reality. No one likes to be disliked, but I think Elsa is particularly sensitive to this. And you can see her at her happiest in two different situations:
When she's being loved and cherished by her people (with Anna by her side)
And when she's free and in the wild.
Which leads me to my second point: Elsa is a horse girl
Ok but apart from being a horse girl you can see she... really enjoys being outside, and being free, and exploring the unknown. I'm thinking about LIG, SY and in part yeah ITU. She seems to actually enjoy physical activity like running and probably also hiking? Being away from society seems to be very stimulating for her which, first of all same. If i could live in a glacier i would i completely understand her choice because that's every girl's dream: live in the ice AND study history all day. What else could you possibly want? This is actually when she's at her highest energy. Being introverted doesn't mean you have low energy it doesn't mean jack shit which is why I think I can safely say Elsa is a kinda high energy person actually. Particularly when she's happy (hello??? Frozen Fever??), and what seems to bring the most excitement to her is to be outdoors and in nature. You know like a horse girl. She sings and dances and she's a huge dork who likes to play in the snow and ride horses and sleep on moving sledges and cuddle smelly baby reindeer and climb mountains. It does take her a bit to come out of her shell tho. You can see how stiff she is during the charades scene. But by the end of Frozen i she's dancing with her sister in the ice, surrounded by the entire kingdom.
Shes highly sensitive too. Like I mean this is a no brainer. And her lack of emotional intelligence doesn't help. But if you focus more on how strongly she feels and less on how little control she has over her emotions in frozen i at least you can appreciate how kind her heart is. Did i mention she makes toys for random kids like santa claus? But seriously, she doesn't have a mean spirited bone in her body. Apart from making Anna dance with the duke of weaselton (Oooh mischevious little shit). She's ALWAYS feeling things and VERY STRONGLY. ALL THE TIME. Its like she doesn't have a neutral mode. She's either crying of happiness and dancing like a hippie or having a mental breakdown. I can only imagine she experiences love, wonder, tenderness, care, excitement, indignation, surprise, grief... all so intensely. Her view of the world must be through a filter of constant emotion. When everything elicits such a strong reaction in her heart, she must experience the world in a very special way.
She's also an architecture nerd. She made a whole ice castle by herself in like a minute. Which means she's also a math nerd. She likes geography and physics. This is canon. She built a castle by herself.
She also giggles when awkward or nervous or maybe embarassed (but not scared) (sources, FF, that scene when kai startles her and she freezes her own hands).
Now i'm thinking about about a very famous architect visiting Arendelle and the mighty legendary ice queen giggling like a little girl and fiddling with her hands as she's organizing the welcome and making sure everything is PERFECT because she's going to meet someone she admires. See? Can you picture that scene? Yeah that has more personality than some of her scenes in f2
Oh right and she's also a hardcore perfectionist. She has high standards for herself and she gets frustrated and dissapointed if she can't meet them. Observe how she doesn't hold anyone but herself to these standards. Just look at the first scene in FF, how much pressure she puts in herself to make the PERFECT CAKE DECORATION but she's more accepting of Kristoff and Olaf's imperfections.
Kinda delving into headcanon territory but remember that comic with Anna separating all the blue M&Ms bc she knows those are Elsa's favorite so she can eat them all in front of her as revenge for shutting her out, and Elsa is having a philosophical breakdown at 8 in her room and Anna angrily eating all the blue M&Ms snaps her back into reality? Yep that's her. Elsa thinks too much. But she gets stuck in her ideas and doesn't end up doing anything unless she's pushed to it. Compare to Anna, who might be less thoughtful but more active, coming up with plans and solutions on the spot (not all of which are good but at least they're SOMETHING) while Elsa philosophizes too much and ends up doing nothing. But the scene that made me think of this was when, after her parents tell her the story of the magic forest, Anna goes "that was EPIC" while Elsa looks down and very quietly she asks what happened to the forest and Ahtohallan yep that's bc she thinks too much and also she's an enneagram 6
Speaking of which if i had to type i think her tritype would be... 6w7, 1w2, 5w4? In that order. Yep she's a 6w7 like Rapunzel. I thought about typying her as a 6w5 but i think her 5 wing comes out the most when she's repressing herself and hiding and concealing and not feeling and all that shit. When she's free and happy she's acting much more like a 7. Whoever said Anna is a 6 and Elsa is a 4 can get out of my blog bc Anna is clearly a 2. Probably. I think. No 6 would throw a snowball at marshmallow. I do think it's somewhere in her tritype considering frozen ii tho. Too much enneagram bullshit. To the conclussion:
Conclussion: these are some of the reasons why someone (including Anna) could fall in love with Elsa. In the movie Anna loves Elsa bc she's her sister but if her love was conditional, like most healthy love is, i think these could be the reasons why she would love her, platonically or romantically. Basically she's too nice, was probably be the kindest and most sensitive queen ever, and she's a nerd, and she's a horse girl, and she giggles when nervous (v important). And also she's a perfectionist.

Tumblr media
FC: Matthew ClavaneAt one of the boards I RP at, the admin asked me to make a little brother for her character. It isn’t his time to come in yet, but when he does, his name is Morgan. He’s a mycokinetic (fungus control) from Ireland. I see him as moody, sullen, sensitive, and starting to suffer the effects of hereditary chronic depression, though he doesn’t know that’s what it is yet. He has a pervasive, wistful emptiness, and doesn’t really know what he wants out of life, or have any real talents, though he does do watercolor pour paintings and watercolor marble painting, in sea and moor tones,  and decorated his room with tiny seashells he’s found and strung upon thin colorless plastic wire. He's got a demeanor that can come off as sad, dreamy, or just plain distracted to many, but when it comes to emotional matters, he's very focused and perceptive. His biggest strength is his emotional intelligence, which is exceptional for a teenage boy. Which is to say, nothing special, but better off than a lot of his peers. He's good at understanding and managing his own emotions (again, for his age) and working out the feelings of others, and responding to them well. He's not perfect at it by any means, but it gives him a decent set of social skills and a talent for empathy, active listening, and taking care of himself emotionally through his bad times when his as-of-yet un-diagnosed depression flares up. But for all his sensitivity and emotional perception and all of that, he can still be moody, bratty, self-righteous, myopic, and uncharitable in his perception of others. He considers himself compassionate, understanding, and open-minded, as these are all qualities he admires, but in actual reality, he can be quick to judge others if they act in a way that really bothers him, and to dig his heels into maintaining this belief. He may or may not voice it, but he will harbor it, and he will let it fester and grow. If he forms a negative perception of someone, he tends to stick with it, disregarding new information, even when he picks it up himself, particularly if they're still behaving in ways that grate him even if he comes to understand more about WHY. He'll just let his problem with somebody sit there, rather than speaking up, and let it build, just avoiding them, and never working things out like an adult. He doesn't want to risk the argument, he doesn't want to do the emotional labor, and he doesn't want to feel like HE was the one in the wrong or that HE was being the unkind party. He'd rather just endure their shit and then sulk about it internally. One of the things that bothers Morgan most is the judgemental attitudes of other people towards harmless pleasures. He swears he sees more hate towards celebrities for being "shallow" than he does towards actual hate groups. What does it matter if someone likes fake tans or partying? It doesn't make them fake, or shallow, or stupid, or less of a human being. And he notices that the people who do this seem to think themselves and their interests are somehow smarter and deeper and more genuine, but you don't get to sneer at a girl for dying her hair blonde when you dye yours black. He also notices that they seem to take pride in how against-the-grain they are for hating the "popular" thing even though the stuff they hate is typically actually very popular to hate---everyone seems to love taking potshots at man-buns, vaping, and Justin Bieber fans. And why? Just another way to feel superior, it seems to Morgan. But but he's also a hypocrite in this because there are certain hobbies and interests that can immediately put him off someone else, namely anything to him that seems needlessly destructive or focused on violence. If it involves someone saying "hold my beer and watch this" he probably hates it. If it involves a preoccupation with how to hurt someone, even in a video game, he probably doesn't want to hear about it or be around the person who's into it. People who take pride in how much they can hurt other people are not people he wants to know. Morgan is the opposite of a perfectionist, always settling for “good enough” even in tasks he’s truly enthusiastic about, like his paintings. The good side of this is that he takes defeat in stride, and accepts loss of any sort as a part of life. The bad side is that it means he lets a lot of error happen, both his own and other people's, without moving to correct it. He won't ask for someone to fix his computer or toilet or clogged shower until it's truly beyond functioning, he'll indulge constant social faux pas from others without telling them they're putting their foot in their mouths, he'll turn in papers that could have been so much better with just a few rounds of editing, he'll do the bare minimum in any task given. He just does what's needed to get by, and in doing so, he robs himself of any chance to shine...not to mention fucks over anyone he's been paired with for a task or assignment. He also doesn't speak up unless he deems it absolutely necessary, unless he thinks it's actually worth it, unless he thinks his words can actually do something and won't cost him. Similarly, is always kind in small ways---letting someone in the lane ahead of him during traffic, returning stray shopping carts, giving a dollar to a homeless man or five bucks to a charity---but he doesn't do big kindnesses. He's not about to run off and dedicate his life to stopping whaling ships, or picket outside city hall for mutant rights, or do anything else that requires real time, energy, money, and/or risk. He's not a hero. He's not one of those people. He doesn't think it'd be fair to call him "selfish" but he's not the kindest, most selfless person ever either. He just does nice little unnoticed things if he can, but keeps out of anything larger, even if it's something he agrees with. Similarly, he's not a person who will "do anything" for a friend. He's a decent friend, a good one even, he'll listen and be empathetic and you can call him at 2 AM crying...but he's not a "ride or die" friend. He is not the friend that will bail you out jail or help you hide a body. He's got limits, and he's got boundaries, and he's not apologizing for that. Okay no, he will say sorry, but he's also still not budging on it.He is equally attracted and repulsed by bright happy energetic people. He admires their light, he loves it, he longs for it, he wants to tag along after them like a moth, but they also wear him out and he doesn’t feel he can be himself around them lest he bring them down or ruin the mood. He's frequently tired for no reason, physically or emotionally, and just detached, disconnected, and worn out, like he can't CARE about anything. But Morgan is determined not to make his problems anyone else's, because he's seen people who wanted to make theirs everyone else's. he's NOT going to be the whiny party pooper that rains on everyone's parade or demands everyone feel sorry for him. He's not. If he's got one goal or point of pride, it's this. He might not always be successful---he's a moody teen boy--but he's got a hardy self-awareness that he's far from the worst-off person in the world, and that other people have better things to do besides getting bogged down in sympathy for him because he feels bad or bland sometimes. He has a gray cat named Easter.

[TRANS] ‘WINGS’ Concept Book Interview - Suga
© floofyjimin KRN - ENG © ktaebwi
『 What I’m thankful to Bang Shihyuk PD and our music production team is, there are originally a lot of people who don’t know a good sound even if we present them one. Everyone has a different preference so it’s hard to pick the sound we think is the right answer, but there’s always the sound close to the right answer in our music. Mixing or mastering is as important as composing, and having a company with the ability to differentiate between good sources and good sounds is a huge blessing. 』
2016 was a meaningful year to both BTS and Suga personally. “It was hectic. Lots of things happened too. My life’s always hectic but last year was even more so. We told ourselves ‘We went through a lot, everyone all worked so hard’. Luckily it turned out well so we could look back on last year like this.”
But you don’t seem to be carried away by that good mood. “We are a realistic team. We can enjoy the happiness because we have been and will be doing well, but we have never once been content with ourselves. It’s been like that from before debut. Every time we release an album, we always worry whether or not it would do well, and they said this album was the most important one. That’s why we received even more stress, but we do not settle and continue to work on it, that’s the strength of our team.”
Why? “From before debut, our company was small and had no money. We came out when the company was on the verge of falling down. Some friends who used to train with me left the company and even suggested going with them, but then I debuted. So we always tell each other not to be content with ourselves, to look forward and keep going. I think showing what we can do steadily is the top priority.”
How did you work on the album? From the mixtape released under the name of Agust D to “Blood, Sweat & Tears” and repackage album, you’re slowly reflecting the stories of yourselves into the albums more and more. “Bang Shihyuk PD-nim once said this too, a person would brighten up after releasing a mixtape. He even asked where that incisive person full of wrath from before had gone. It was my complex and the way to solve it was music that I need to make. Thinking about how many idols can have this chance, I’m making music in a very good environment. BTS, Agust D or a human named Min Yoongi, it all comes from the same person, so if I put in the real stories of mine, many people can listen and relate to it.”
What’s the difference between releasing as BTS and releasing mixtape? “My mixtape is purely just shouting out. (laughs) I figure that the influence my mixtape brings is different from what BTS’ albums bring, with BTS, I need to refine. Firstly, there’s not much I can use. To compress what I want to say into as short as possible, I have to think more compared to when making mixtape.”
Was “First Love” from <WINGS> that point of contact? “It’s a meaningful song too. “First Love” talks about the piano I used to play when I was young, which also means the only friend I had. I cried a lot while recording. I kept crying at the emotion explosion part in the latter half. It was when I just finished working on the ‘Agust D’ mixtape and moved onto the album right away, so I didn’t have much time, I wrote it quick and recorded all by myself. Right after I cried and recorded the song, I sent it and went to the airport, but then they called and said it might need to be re-recorded because the file was broken. I cried that hard while recording but! (laughs) I recorded again after going back to Korea and went to catch a flight again 4, 5 hours later. It was stressful but fun.”
What led you to choose the current message of your solo songs among many stories you can tell? “Bang Shihyuk PD-nim informed us there would solo songs when we talked about the album concept. I thought a lot about what kind of song I should do and suggested ‘So Far Away’, which is currently in the mixtape. It’s something I can pull off well and also public-friendly, so I asked ‘How do you think?’, they said it was fine but we need to discuss a little more. Then the song was put in the mixtape. After listening to other members’ songs, I felt like if my song is depressing, it would sag the mood of the whole album down. I asked how about doing the ‘tough’ style that I can pull off the best, but it would not fit the flow of the album. So I started making a rap-only track. Actually, the main line of ‘First Love’ is the same as ‘So Far Away’. I remembered the orchestra sesssion I wanted to put in but couldn’t because of the lack of time and made use of it. If you listen to ‘First Love’, there’s just straight up rapping for 3 minutes 9 seconds. It’s not that common nowadays so it was fun.”
You don’t tend to show your emotions much, seems like you relieve it through rapping. “I don’t think I live an ordinary life.. I started making music since I was young, and left home since I was young too. Many interesting things happened in my life. I don’t show it much usually. Basically not at all. But I always live hoping someone would know it. I relieve through music. It’s like I resolve it by performing and making music. I think of music as my release. That’s why I made ‘Agust D’ freely. It was a load off my mind.”
What happened in the past? “There was a time I had to live with just 300,000 won ($262) a month. I couldn’t eat three meals a day. It was hard and I wasn’t that rich, but I think I enjoyed it. Why? My inferiority complex and the desire of wanting to do well quick was strong after debut. It wasn’t like a total failure, just my high ideals made it hard. Back in high school, I spent my days playing around and having fun with my friend. I went to my old school, took a walk, sorted out my thoughts and got to know what I need to do.”
Is “First Love” or “Spring Day” the result? “Yes. ‘Agust D’ is my turning point. It’s probably the best thing I did in 2016. I was very emotionally exhausted then. There were also the worries of being an idol. I met an old acquaintance not long ago and they said I became a completely different person. If you ask me whether I’m satisfied with the music in ‘Agust D’ or not, I would say I’m not. I didn’t have enough time and many parts could have been better, but if you ask I regret releasing the mixtape or not, I want to say I really like it. The members said the same too. They told me my mixtape is too ‘fierce-fierce-fierce-fierce’. (laughs) I said I couldn’t do anything other than it. I don’t regret making it that way at all. I became more relaxed making music after that. More naturally too. There is no longer a limit like before.”
How did you work on “Blood, Sweat & Tears”? “I heard the beat made by Pdogg-hyung first and it was so good. What I’m really thankful to our company staff is, they always develop, even Pdogg-hyung and Bang Shihyuk PD-nim. Pdogg-hyung made half of the title track and the rest was on us, so I started working on it without much pressure. It’s like, if it doesn’t do well, let it be. I tend to be really stressed when working but that time I wrote the song while playing games. I unknowingly finished the outline after playing a few rounds.”
Was it difficult putting your individual into the sound or flow that’s different from before? “I became really sensitive to sound when working on ‘Agust D’. I modified every single beat and even personally participated in mixing. For this album, I would give it 93 out of 100 in terms of sound. What I’m thankful to Bang Shihyuk PD and our music production team is, there are originally a lot of people who don’t know a good sound even if we present them one. Everyone has a different preference so it’s hard to pick the sound we think is the right answer, but there’s always the sound close to the right answer in our music. Mixing or mastering is as important as composing, and having a company with the ability to differentiate between good sources and good sounds is a huge blessing. We all got goosebumps when we listened to the album for the first time in Pdogg-hyung’s room. Truthfully, it doesn’t lose to foreign artists’ sounds.”
Now you must have gained the confidence to be able to bring in a certain quality when making songs without worrying too much. “Good things don’t always come when there’s stress. I pursued for perfection a lot before. Actually, people called perfectionists, they’re not perfect, they have a complex there. You can’t know at the time how it would be when looking back after everything’s done. What makes it hard is keeping being greedy despite of that. Thinking this way eased my mind. I couldn’t live telling ‘So what if I fall’, ‘So what if I’m hurt’ through music. I can’t fall, if I fall it’s the end, I have to endure even if I’m hurt, I used to think like this but now my thoughts changed a lot, because I’m a human too.”
How high is Suga’s goal? “I think being a musician, we need to be satisfied as late as possible. Money and the standard of success are important too, but I’m just curious. How far can BTS and also Min Yoongi go? Bang Shihyuk PD-nim told us this. That at this level, we need to carve the new way for the juniors. Not the juniors in our company, but the juniors in the Korean music industry. I used to think whether we could success more if we debuted 3 years earlier, but not anymore. I think we too are walking on the way paved by many seniors and receiving a lot of generational benefits like Naver VLIVE and Twitter. We need to carve a new way so more musicians could introduce better music to the world more easily.”
How does it feel having people all over the world listen to your songs? “This is probably half of the goal I set before. I used to work as a studio engineer while composing and performing at the same time in Daegu. But there was no one when I performed. 50 people was a lot. I lost money every day, I didn’t even have money to eat after performing. I had had enough of it. If I want to make the kind of music that satisfies myself only, it would be better for my mental health to make it alone at home. (laughs) I came up to Seoul because I wanted to let many people hear my music, so BTS’ achievements feels like a miracle. It’s also the reason I became an idol.”
What stories do you want to bring people now? “Whether by rapping or by whatever method, I have decided what kind of music I want to make. Hopeful songs like ‘Tomorrow’ or ‘So Far Away’ from the mixtape. Many people find it weird how the least hopeful person would want to make such kind of music. (laughs) I grew up listening to Epik High. At that time, songs about dream or hope were a trend, and the reason I like Tablo-hyung was because he made that kind of music. I want to make such music too. I have an influence now, and I want to use that influence in the right direction.”

End of July
i think i’ll be starting my period sometime in the next 24 hours. my friend who i am synced with just started hers this morning. tomorrow, i am using a sick day to go to to dentist. my dentist is in san gabriel- a 20 minute drive east of my home. in the past, i would only take a half day, but then i thought, why am i stressing and rushing myself to go to work when i have all these sick hours. even more so when there’s not much pending at work. so, i plan on going to the dentist in the morning, having lunch in the area, then coming home and painting my living room and kitchen. my dad asked one of his home depot contacts to come work for us lol. i’ll be taping and painting along with him tomorrow so the job gets done faster. just came back from home depot earlier and bought two gallons of shiny luster paint- the same shade and sheen as my room. i also bought a darker grey to paint the borders for contrast. hopefully it looks good. a few weeks ago, our gallon full of coins got topped off. my mom would sit and individually package the coins into the sleeves banks provide whenever we wanted to exchange the coins for cash- this would take her nearly half a day. not sure why we never used coinstar before, but we finally did it. i learned that its an 11% fee if you exchange the coins for cash, but there is no fee when you exchange for a gift card. so, with one gallon full of coins, we got about $350 total- i put about half on a home depot gift card, and half on an amazon gift card. it was funny/so coincidental today that our total came out to be exactly 2 dollars less of our home depot gift card (my dad also had things to buy and we weren’t computing the costs).
events this past weekend: friend’s going away party. she received a scholarship from fullbright- which is a prestigious academic award to represent the US in international affairs. i didn’t realize how honorable it was til today and previously saw it as another “teach english abroad” opportunity. we ate at roe seafood in long beach. i thought the food was pretty bomb- i’d give it a 7/10. however, the more i ate of my scallop porcini pasta- the more water i had to drink. taste wise it was definitely there, but the cheese/carb combo was so damn heavy. i liked the group and it felt easy/natural to socialize (also because i was sitting in between my good friends b and s). in my last blog, i was venting about b, but i realize in the grand scheme of things- the little things i get annoyed by don’t matter. she continued to do the things i got ticked off by over text, but instead of getting irritated, i tried to teach myself to be loving and forgiving and think- she’s not me, i’m not her, don’t think that what i think is the “right” way of doing things is actually right. we had a nice time together that night. good vibes throughout.
watched lion king with my mom, grandma, bro and wife. i went into the movie having low expectations due to what everyone else was saying, but i enjoyed it. the fact that we got to live through seeing the cartoon version in 1994 to seeing it full in CGI in 2019 is incredible. i love the storyline of lion king. the scene where mufasa dies always gets me. i had to hold back tears during the emotional parts of the movie lol.
matt’s free time is decreasing and decreasing. he now has to work 6 days a week. he’s at work before i wake up, and still at work after i’m off work. on a GOOD day, he’ll only be at the hospital for about 13 hours, on a bad day, maybe 16 :(. he also has to study outside of work as they have monthly exams. saturday was his one day off during the week and it was kinda sad lol. he has one day to catch up on sleep and he’s too tired to do anything else. he tells me that he doesn’t have time to drink water at work, let alone use the restroom. his lunch consists of downing a soylent. his hospital is severely understaffed and he is doing nurses’ duties (drawing blood, patient care taking). he normally calls me right after he gets off work. i get to talk to him for about an hour or so, while he’s prepping dinner and eating. he then goes shower and gets ready to sleep and i get to see him again for a few minutes before he sleeps. i feel lucky that i’m the one he wants to talk to and see every day. i hope i brighten up his day, as he keeps saying he’s “dying” lol. when he didn’t match into a residency program, he was depressed. now that he’s in residency, it’s also depressing (but at least there is an end in sight). apparently the second and third year residents are super jaded and negative. i wouldn’t be surprised if he became like that in a year lol. on saturday, he called me right before i was going to shower. so i told him that i’ll call him back afterwards. as i got out of the shower, i saw a message from him saying - take your time, i’m gonna go shower too. so i took my time and started getting ready for the going away dinner. he called me 10-15 later and was like “you didn’t call me back!” there was something so satisfying about him being needy and clingy LOL. he’s naturally an independent cerebral person so i love it when he is needy.
saturday night at like 1am, i got a random text from L asking me about relationship stuff. coincidentally, i couldn’t sleep cus your girl would have been dead asleep by 11 any other day. i’m happy that she felt comfortable enough to reach out to me and share her feelings. i learned that we both are perfectionistic, have unrealistically high expectations, and are quite sensitive. she cares a lot about how others/her friends perceive her relationship. she shared with me an instance where her bf came off a bit rude to her in front of her friends and she felt “very disappointed” in him. if i place myself in her shoes, i can understand why she felt hurt. and if its an reoccurring thing, then i’m sure the pain is stronger. however, being “very disappointed” in your partner for being human is stressful for both you and them because you set unrealistic standards for the relationship. she wasn’t able to let it go and gave the incident more attention than it needed. from hearing her story, i basically saw my problems in someone else. it makes me realize how silly and crazy i am sometimes in making mountains out of molehills. i used to think that it was good to have high standards for your partner, and i often felt disappointed by my last partner. i think it reflected more on myself than him- my needs weren’t being met, i wasn’t happy in the relationship, i stayed with an incompatible partner, etc. having “high” standards is only valuable if the standards are attainable and something that can be worked towards.
i feel very happy with my current partner. being away from him for almost two months now has allowed me time to reflect on us and myself. i’m way more forgiving with the distance, and considerate about his new schedule and circumstance. in my last relationship, i started seeing the flaws around 8/9 month mark. and if i was smart and experienced enough, i would have realized those were dealbreakers (because in the end, i broke up with him for the same reasons). coming up on 9 months with matt, i feel secure and that our issues are small issues. we’re able to get along and have similar values and ideals.
his words can sometimes come off harsh but i’ve gotten used to it and actually really appreciate him being honest and constructive with me. a week or so before he left, i was hanging out in his room. i forgot what we were talking about before but he said, “you would be much much prettier if you worked out. not that you don’t look good now, but you would look better if you worked out.” i was a little bothered by that at first, but realized he is 100% correct. i never paid attention to my body much before- but skinny fat is not a good look or feel. my bikini pics in hawaii were meh lol i was flabby, weak and out of shape. i started working out recently with dumbbells and find it so fun- more efficient work out than without any equipment. working out also helps my face maintain its shape. i realized in the past months my face started looking more bloated and fat. i’ve even received comments from two of my older friends - “you got fatter. but just in your face.” i was never mindful of how my diet and exercise routine affected how i looked. which is really dumb as a human lol. i kinda wish i was more athletic when i was younger because i’m almost just starting from scratch now. however, i am grateful that i was at least somewhat active (hiking here and there, walking, leisurely workouts) in the last few years. so, he helped me gain weight to be at a normal range (this is the heaviest i’ve been my whole life). now it’s my job to tone myself. i’ve been saying this for some time, but i’m getting more cognizant about fitness which will help the consistency.
throughout our time together, he’s only lost his patience/raised his voice a little twice during arguments. the last time he did actually helped so much in putting me in my place. he is very smart and makes pretty good arguments sometimes haha. the last time, it made me realize that it’s better to nourish my relationship rather than bring drama into it. since then, i’ve thought twice about bringing up small issues that i can learn to let go. i love that he pushes and inspires me to be better and to be hardworking. and i’m glad i’m pretty receptive to his ideas.
i read old conversations with my past partner today. it was super cringy. i come off as cold, inquisitive, and serious and he comes off as immature, emotional and uninterested in my thoughts. even reading through our messages now i felt the frustration i felt when i was talking to him then. i felt i was always trying to change him into the person i wanted him to become. i saw the potential but i didnt see the person he was. to me, he was gross, trashy and had many insecurities. the more separated i am from it, the more i am disgusted with myself for choosing that lol. however, i am grateful for what he taught me, which was what attracted me to him in the first place- how to be intimate emotionally and physically, how to talk about feelings, how to communicate, how to talk about more difficult subjects, how to bring up issues, how to understand what i’m feeling, etc.

Let me be real for a second: business plans are overrated.
I’m going to give you some boss tips for writing one anyway, but only if you promise not to obsess over it.
The vast majority of entrepreneurs waste way too much time trying to perfect their business plan instead of just getting out there are doing something. You don’t learn nor do your earn from planning, you learn and earn from acting.
Research from Babson College, one of the best entrepreneurship programs in America, has shown that there’s basically no correlation between a start-up’s business plan and its revenue years down the road. (1) Self-made Internet millionaire Neil Patel has never written a single business plan, and he’s doing pretty well.
That being said, business plans can be very helpful for formulating a clear vision of your idea and raising money. So here are my finest advice gems for coming up with your perfectly imperfect business plan.
36. Imperfect action
“Winners take imperfect action while losers are still perfecting the plan.”
The key to writing a successful business plan is to fire the perfectionist within you. Do a 90-day challenge: every day, for 90 days, you have to do something to move your business forward. Not plan something, DO something. Even if it scares you.
35. Read one book about business plans
One solid book on business plans should give you plenty of useful business plan writing tips and tricks. Once you finish your business plan book, close it and get to work because remember that taking action is the most important step to succeeding.
34. Know your target market
Don’t be afraid to narrow down, because you can always expand later on. Apple’s very first business plan spelled out their target market clearly:
“As word processors are replacing typewriters in the real world, students need to learn word processing, not just typing. MAC will help the student of the 80’s learn the tools of the 80’s.” (2)
That’s why, in the late 80s and early 90s, most American schools used Macintosh computers. However, Apple has clearly expanded its target market exponentially since then.
33. Sales cures all
Mark Cuban drives this one home every chance he gets. Getting sales is more important than even having a business plan, or having the infrastructure to support future growth. (3)
Plans are all talk, sales are proof. Mark Cuban, or any smart investor for that matter, won’t throw down money on the greatest idea in the world if it has zero sales. Get out there and nail down some sales first, then plan for growth.
32. Interview customers
Once you know your target market, you need to understand them in and out. No better way to do this than interviewing the customers you’ll later be selling to.
Write up a list of interview questions, then go interview at least 20 customers. Don’t try to pitch them your idea, but listen to their ideas instead. Show sincere interest in what they have to say, collect their answers, and include key quotes from customers in an appropriate place within your business plan.
31. Get a financial consultant
The biggest red flag is a business plan that doesn’t have a clear picture of the business’s current and projected financials. You should know how to answer any question thrown at you, from turnover rates to gross profit and net profit.
If you’ve got a solid business idea and niche experience but just aren’t good with numbers and financials, get a financial consultant. Check out Fiverr for affordable freelancers in their financial consulting and business plan section. (4)
30. Tailor your plan to your audience
Your business plan is going to be seen by multiple interested parties, so write up a version that “speaks” to each audience. Make a private one for yourself as well and use it as a guide to moving your business forward.
This worked for Liat Tzoubari, who founded Sevensmith. She wrote up several different business plans for different audiences, one for the bank, one for venture capitalists, one for herself. She researched her potential investors before meeting with them and tailored her business plan accordingly, just like you’d do for a job application. (5)
29. Get a second opinion
When you’ve written a draft of your plan, find someone knowledgeable about business, like an accountant or a business advisor, to review the whole thing and offer you constructive criticism. They could catch areas that need more explanation, claims that need data to back them up, and other questions that your eventual audience might ask.
28. Get several proofreaders
Poor spelling and grammar demonstrate inadequate preparation and a lack of professionalism when it comes to business. Not just for the sake of proper English usage, either – millions of dollars in sales can be lost due to a single spelling error. (6)
It’s going to be hard for you to spot errors after gluing your eyes to the plan for several hours, so hit up friends, family, and colleagues (after running it through Grammarly or another spellchecker) to read through your document and point out grammar and spelling errors.
27. Have proof for every claim you make
Vague statements without proof won’t get you very far in business. Bring facts and data to the table for every single claim you make, whether it’s about sales, management, market position, or something else.
26. Avoid superlatives and other strong adjectives
Sounds nit-picky, but any effort to hype up your audience with words like “incredible”, “terrific”, or “unbelievable” will fall flat. You’re writing a business plan, not an infomercial, so impress your audience with your business plan and the data you’ve gathered.
25. Skew your estimates
That’s right – don’t give them the numbers you’re really projecting. You want to err on the conservative side, you know, underpromise and overdeliver.
A good rule of thumb is to take your projected costs and add 25% for unforeseen overages, then take your projected revenue and cut it in half. If your business plan survives with these pessimistic estimates, you know you can make it through anything unexpected. (7)
24. Nail down an elevator pitch
Don’t waste your time writing up a 100-page business plan unless you can explain it all in one minute.
Humans have a pretty depressing attention span – on average, about 8 seconds. (8) It doesn’t matter what you wrote on page 26. If you can’t hook someone in the first 8 seconds, it’s over.
23. Use infographics
Visuals are effective, and infographics are at the top of the list when it comes to explaining complex concepts in a persuasive way. Visuals are processed 60,000 times faster than text by the brain, and according to the Wharton School of Business, people who use visuals to persuade are 17% more effective than people who rely solely on text. (9)
Hit up Upwork for an infographic artist that costs less than your Friday night, and start implementing visuals. (10)
22. Emphasize your experience
Many investors would prefer that an entrepreneur has some sort of experience in the industry they’re launching their business in. If you (or your team, if you have one) have any experience in the field in your industry, emphasize it in the plan.
Don’t make it sound like a resume-like list, though. Give a concise description of you and each of your team member’s knowledge of your business’s products, competition, industry, potential customers, etc.
21. Don’t hide your weaknesses
Being honest about your weaknesses will always pay off more than attempting to hide them. But don’t highlight them too much, either – this will make you sound insecure, not a very attractive trait to find in an entrepreneur.
Address your weaknesses openly with your audience, but also demonstrate your plan to minimize or combat these weaknesses to show your audience that you’re proactive.
20. Avoid long documents
Attention spans are shortening by the day, so having long documents with giant chunks of texts isn’t going to do you any favors in acquiring investment capital. In fact, many successful business plans are no longer than 10-15 pages.
Keep it short and sweet, only giving them the essentials. Don’t fluff. If your audience wants more information, they’ll ask you for it.
19. Bootstrap
There’s a lot of talk about finding investors here, but bootstrapping is blowing up in the start-up world. That is, funding your start-up all on your own, 100% independent from the pull and influence of big investors.
Facebook, Apple, Coca-Cola, and eBay were all bootstrapped, and according to the Harvard Business Review, bootstrapped companies actually attract better talent. (11)
18. Set SMART goals
Real talk: most goals are useless. In fact, studies show that talking about your goals can actually reduce the likelihood of you actually reaching them. (12)
That’s because most goals are vague and fluffy, filled with unicorns and rainbows and no actionable way to reach them. SMART goals are specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time-sensitive. Make sure any goal you discuss in your business plan meets these criteria.
17. Track pricing trends
If you’re selling a product or service, especially through e-commerce, you need to pay attention to pricing trends within your industry before developing your business plan.
Luckily, there are some fantastic price tracking tools out there to help you. CamelCamelCamel is a popular, easy plug-in that you can add to your browser, and PriceZombie is a great price tracking software that also takes into account product quality. (13) (14)
16. Prioritize customer acquisition
Serial Silicon Valley entrepreneur Steve Blank’s book The Four Steps to the Epiphany: Successful Strategies for Products that Win pretty much put the final nail in the coffin of the “product development” model of business. (15)
Build it, and they might not come. Instead of focusing most of your business plan on product development, make customer acquisition a priority. That means marketing aggressively and often. If you’re doing something digital, you’re going to do a lot of A/B testing and develop a plan that involves SEO, content marketing, and lead generation.
15. Perform competitor analysis
Analyzing your competition is easier now than ever thanks to the internet. Figure out their traffic analytics, backlinks, and conversion rates on Ahrefs and Alexa. Use Spyfu to figure out the PPC keywords they’re bidding on.
Stalk their blog and social media accounts like they’re your ex. Read their reviews. Find their and their customers’ pain points. Mimic what’s working for them in a way that fits your business, and avoid what’s not working for them.
14. Spell out ROI
If a stranger comes up to you and says you should give them money, you’re not going to wonder what makes them awesome enough to deserve your money. You’re going to want to know what’s in it for you.
Same deal with business plans for investors. Sure, you’ve got to have a great idea and prove yourself competent. But in the end, they’re not looking to know how baller you are. They want to know how much money you can make them.
If you’re presenting a business plan to investors, a study from the Harvard Business Review shows that most investors want a 40-60% return, compounded annually. (16) Calculate your estimated sales, profit growth, and figure out equity offerings based on this ROI.
13. Offer at least 25% equity
Figure out your company’s valuation in the business plan and decide how much equity you’re willing to give up.
The basic formula is pretty simple: take the amount of money you’re trying to raise and divide it by your company’s valuation. If you’re looking for $4 million and value your company is worth $12 million, be ready to give up 33% in equity. Most first-round investors take between 25% and 45% in equity. (17)
12. A/B testing
Throw $100 on Facebook ads to test your product/service. Take all those ideas you brainstormed and create a series of Facebook ads for them, running each one for $10. Find what works.
42% of failed start-ups said a lack of market need for their product was the reason they failed. (18) Make sure there’s a market need for your idea before you build it out.
11. Make it a low-cost startup
The second reason start-ups fail is a lack of sufficient capital – about 30% of them tank because they run out of money. (19) But now thanks to the internet, you can start up with costs near zero to make bootstrapping it easier.
Work for free the first 6 month-1 year. During this time, you and a partner don’t take a salary: that’s free labor.
Develop an app/program/website using open source programs: that’s free product development.
Use unpaid digital marketing techniques like SEO, social media, and content marketing to build a buzz: that’s free customer acquisition.
10. Launch with a minimum viable product
All the testing and investment calculations in the world aren’t going to guarantee your idea makes it big. Only time and experience will do that.
Get yourself an MVP (minimum viable product) and put it out there. You can always pivot if needed.
Groupon launched with just 20 friends using an app to coordinate and purchase things in groups for group discounts. (20) Now they’re doing $3.14 billion in sales. (21)
9. Update it as you go
Things rarely go completely as planned in business. Your product might not sell, some new competition might enter the market and steal customers from you, or maybe a new revenue opportunity presents itself after you’ve launched your business.
It’s ok if any of that happens. You can adjust your business plan as needed to reflect your current situation, as long as you’re continually making progress.
8. Register in Wyoming
Location, location, location.
Wyoming has one of the best tax climates in the country for new businesses. No corporate tax, no income tax, no gross receipts tax. Cha-ching.
It’s also a very low-cost place to start up. Delaware and Puerto Rico (6% flat tax) are also worth considering. (22)
7. Crowdfunding
The vast majority of businesses fail to sustain themselves due to cash flow problems (82% to be exact). (23) But giving up too much equity early on to investors means you lose control of the company and limit its potential.
Crowdfunding brings in cash flow and lets you keep 100% equity. You’re going to have to be a marketing whizz or otherwise, you’ll have to hire one (you can find crowdfunding campaign writers on Upwork and other freelancer sites), but a successful Kickstarter or Gofundme campaign can net you even more than a big VC (venture capitalist).
Husband and wife duo Yoganshi and Hiral Sanghavi designed the “World’s Best Travel Jacket” and put it up on Kickstarter with a goal of raising $20,000. They hit their goal in FIVE hours, and in the end, raised $9.2 million in what ended up being one of the most successful Kickstarter campaigns ever. (24)
6. Format for skimming
Most people won’t read your entire business plan, or even most of it. Eye scan studies show that the vast majority of people read pages in an F-pattern – they read all the headers and intros down the left side of the page and then scan from left to right just on the sections that interest them most.
Also, readers, especially web users, spend 80% of their time reading “above the fold,” which on a website, is the part visible without scrolling, and on a printed document, the first half the of the first page. (25)
Format your business plan accordingly. Put everything you think people MUST know about your business in the first couple of paragraphs, and use lots of headings and bolded keywords for other important information to catch their attention.
5. Write the executive summary last
This is the bread and butter of your business plan: it’s a lot like a written form of your elevator pitch. For those skim-readers, these few paragraphs are all they’re going to touch.
Your executive summary is at the beginning of your business plan, and it spells out the main points of your company, product/service, target market, and financial projections. It’s what they read to decide if they’re intrigued enough to hear more.
Focus on perfecting the executive summary. Write it after you’ve done all the other sections, as you’ll have a clear picture of your market, product, and financials.
4. Target your customer (DIG)
People think phrases like “middle-aged moms” is a target market. Hint: it’s not. You need to dig deeper than that if you want to hone in on a market effectively. Use the DIG method for targeting your customers:
Demographics: Go farther than age and gender. Occupation? Location? Income? Nationality? Birth month? Political party?
Interests: Nail down your customer’s personality. What are their hobbies and passions? Temperament? Lifestyle? Opinions?
Platforms: Where are these people active? Facebook? Instagram? Online communities and forums? Professional networks? Figure out where they hang.
3. Know your SEO
A marketing plan without SEO research is a marketing plan from the 1980s. You can’t create a successful business without Google.
First step: keyword research (SEMrush, MOZ, KWFinder). Figure out what your target keywords are going to be. Second step is to develop a content plan based on your keywords and start building up backlinks by getting mentions on high authority websites. Network. There you go, 80% of SEO done. You’re welcome.
2. Start a blog
Obviously I’m a big fan of this one. You need to have a website that’s optimized for SEO, and starting an industry relevant blog is one of the best ways to do that.
But blogging is so much more than SEO. It’s also one of the best (and cheapest) ways to build name recognition, credibility, and trust. Why do you think I spend 20+ hours researching and writing posts like this one?
1. Generate leads for local businesses
There are a lot of factors when it comes to start-up failure: sub-par products, lack of funding, and low sales are easily the top 3. But lead generation is one of the most consistent and guaranteed factors if you know what you’re doing (SEO).
What if you could cut out all the messy, risky factors of starting a business and JUST focus on lead generation? Start a lead generation business. Pick a niche (small, think limo services in Tallahassee, Florida), optimize a website for SEO and lead generation (easier than you think), and sell those leads to a local business in your niche. They’ll fork over huge money for a stack of fresh leads, and you can keep reeling them in while you sleep.
It’s digital. It’s automated. It’s scalable. Doesn’t get any better than that.

Ranking the 36 best tips for writing your next business plan
