Batfam fic idea

Jason mysteriously dies at the hands of some random criminal. But Jason prepared this time and in his will states that if he is murdered they have to avenge his death by killing his murderer. The rest of the family reluctantly accepts this and goes after the poor guy. Who is now being talked about as if he was Jason’s greatest enemy and the battle they fought was an intense emotional fight. Then when confronting the guy he says something like “he wouldn’t want you to do this.”

The batfam just stare at him in confusion and say “have you ever even met him?”

Long story short they kill him. Then a week later Jason shows back up and everyone like “you’re alive!? What happened?”

Jason admits that he had meaning to take a break for a while. Due to feeling burnt out and when he got beat by that complete nobody it was his sign to take a vacation. He left a message with Damian who wasn’t listening to him and forgot completely about the call. Hence why when the rumours of his death came and no one could get a hold of him they just assumed that he was dead.

• He WILL get excited about parts of his books and will eagerly explain any hidden meanings to you

• It’s super cute because he unthinkingly gesticulates to express himself and his pretty eyes start to twinkle

• (I 100% believe he has little post-it notes in his books to document his thoughts and I think it’s so adorable)

• He will make you your favorite drink before indulging in this activity, and it’s so peaceful lying cuddled up together sipping on your beverage, letting your eyes take in the words on the pages

• Legit can’t imagine anything better than laying across his broad chest, feeling his warmth seeping through his clothes and his large hand cupping the back of your neck

• He will cook for you - I hc that he’s a pretty good cook, probably the best of the brothers tbh

• Sets you on the counter (HOT)

• Steps in between your legs to nuzzle into your neck

• Let’s you move his hair out of his eyes when his hands are busy

• Playfully nudges you as he cooks

• Keeps a hand on your thigh as much as possible

• Let’s you taste test

• He will watch you and make sure you like his food - will take it personally if you don’t

• He provides for you, even on days where he’s relaxing he has to offer his help - plus, it makes him feel good knowing he’s taking care of you

• I really think that, while Jason does love excitement and adventure, he prefers to stay in on his days off, relaxing with you

• I feel like he’d complain about movie adaptations of his favorite novels, but would watch them with you just to make snarky comments about them

• You can’t help but giggle at him, even though you try not to encourage his melodrama

• Lazy kisses interspersed throughout the movie coupled with featherlight kisses across your shoulders

• Just an all-around nice relaxing day with your man

jean-paul and tim fighting in the batcave is what fandom thinks happened between jason and tim

it's so funny to me that fanfiction version of titans tower incident (teen titans 2003 #29) is basically what canonically happened during knightquest the crusade (tec #668 and robin #1)

tim is actually 14 years old so it was a fight between an actual kid and adult instead of two teenagers

tim is beaten up in his safe place by an ally who he used to have positive feelings about (i mean it was tim who broke in and sneaked around the batcave so i don't blame jpv for self-defense!)

tim is annoyed that he worked so hard to become robin only to be shut down by jean-paul and now having to prove himself to him (didn't go well)
