“you know, your eyes kinda resemble a ruby.” you slurred your words. your chin rested in the palm of your hand, elbow digging in the table below you.
bakugou snorted, his eyes never wavering from yours. “what made you think of that shit?”
you lifted your shoulders, quickly dropping them.
“do i need a reason?”
“to be thinking about nonsense? yes.” he answered his own question. his response caused an eye-roll out of you.
you grabbed the small glass in front of you, finishing the shot you set down earlier to save for later.
“that’s your fifth shot of the night.” bakugou intercepted the silence. he sat upright in his chair, his arms folded across his chest.
you gulped the remains of the liquor, swiping your tongue across the bottom of your lip.
“and you’re on your what? like second?” you remarked.
bakugou wasn’t a drinker. everyone knew that. he preferred to be sober, always offering to be the designated driver whenever the group wanted to have a night of fun.
but tonight was his pro-hero debut party. all of his friends and old schoolmates were there, so he figured if he were to drink, tonight was the perfect time.
also, who was he to decline having a drink with a pretty girl?
his eyes glanced at your now wet lips which unfortunately didn’t go unnoticed from you. “two is plenty.”
you leaned forward, reaching your hand towards bakugou’s shirt. your fingers grazed the top button of his shirt. slowly, you unfastened it. “there’s nothing wrong with having a little fun, katsuki.”
due to the sudden proximity, he could smell the alcohol coming from your breath, but he couldn’t bring himself to resist your actions.
you continued to the second button. “take this time to relax.” you raised your hands once more, your fingers now grazing his neck to uncuff the collar of his shirt.
now, you leaned away from him, returning to your previous position. “now you look like a man that’s ready for the night.”
bakugou dropped his shoulders and leaned back in his chair, turning his head sideways. he couldn’t refuse the blush that was coming onto his face nor could he hide it. he knew you were staring right into his soul. he was also aware that you loved to tease him like that.
“unhinged. i swear you are.” was the only thing bakugou could muster.
ever since he’s known you from u.a, you were always that daring girl who was so unpredictable. there was never a dull moment with you.
but that was also what made you so dangerous for him.
a laugh parted your lips. “been called worse.”
“bullshit.” he called it, looking into your eye once again. “like what?”
“irresponsible,” you started count on your fingers.
“i can see it.” bakugou shared his input.
“arrogant,”
he rolled his eyes, “heard my fair share of that one too.”
“impulsive,”
“accurate.”
“provocative.”
bakugou moved his head in a notion like he was deciding between two things. “nah.”
you furrowed your brow, squinting your eyes in confusion. “what is that supposed to mean?”
“provocative sounds like a slutty word.” he simply responded. “i think you know you’re attractive, and you know how to use it to your advantage. not a bad thing at all.”
you paused for a moment, your lips parting from shock. a small grin began to form on your face. “did bakugou katsuki just call me attractive?”
the male scoffed, “don’t act like this is news to you. ‘m sure you heard it plenty times before.” he brushed it off.
“just didn’t think you of all people would willingly say that.”
bakugou chuckled to himself. he raised his finger in the air, indicating for the server assigned to your table to bring him another drink.
“unlike you, not everyone needs five shots of liquor in their system to confess something.” undoubtedly, it was shot taken at her, one that you couldn’t refuse the growing smile on your face.
“oh? since when did you decide to get so bold?”
“someone’s actions tend to rub off on me.”
“they must be foolish.”
once again, bakugou’s ruby eyes lowered to your lips. undeniable. how could his heart ever stand a chance when you treat him this way? did you not understand he loved a challenge?
“yeah, an irresistible fool.”
“please, i’m anything but a fool.”
“don’t flatter yourself; who said i was talking about you?” he opted to lie.
you leaned forward slightly, “with the amount of times you keep staring at my lips, it’s not hard to notice it’s taking everything in you to resist me.” your voice lowered in volume, for his ears to catch only. “therefore, irresistible.”
bakugou took his time to respond, the corner of his mouth quirking up into a smirk. “this must be that arrogant side of yours coming out.”
“one, not necessarily arrogance if it’s true. two, i’m attractive and i know how to use it to my advantage.” you recited his own words.
“this something you do with all your flings?”
you gave him a playful confused look. “do what?” intentionally, your voice had an innocent tone to it.
“drink with them. tease ‘em. nearly undress them. flirt with them in front of an audience?” bakugou could feel his patience slipping. like a sand hourglass, only a few grains left at the top waiting to fall to the bottom.
it had to have been from the shots that made him so precariously bold. but he couldn’t walk away. not when he has you in the palm of his hands— maybe even the other way around.
you propped your elbow on the table once more, cupping your own cheek. you gazed at bakugou through your lashes.
“if i had other flings, you think i’d be here with you all night?”
“don’t know. good question actually.” purposely, he played stupid.
you paused. “there are no others,” you knew that was the answer he was searching for. luckily for him, you didn’t mind giving it to him. “just you.”
bakugou nodded slowly, basking in the information. he could feel his heart flutter from the confession, a huge wave of relief washing over him.
“good. was startin’ to think you were actually considering the guy over at the bar.” of course, bakugou plays it off as a joke. even with the small liquor in his system, it was still difficult for him to admit his true feelings.
but you were fine with it. because even with the guard he pretends to have up, you can feel even with the slightest touch how much he cares for you. bakugou may be loud, cheeky, maybe a bit conceited, but he wasn’t a good liar. you always saw through his facade no matter what lies he decided to spew.
you scoff. “oh, shut up.” you fight a smile. “the guy at the bar doesn’t have the ruby eyes i like so much.”
“here you go with this stupid shit.”
-
i ’d do anything to flirt with katsuki late at night, both of us tipsy. god please im beggin

idk the idea of katsuki helping you out of all your clothes and massaging you till you’re a puddle on the floor is so 😵‍💫😵‍💫
just imagine his pretty little eyes being so glazed over with want, him wanting nothing more than your body on his.
things had been so rough recently, you deserved this right? that’s all you could tell yourself as he rubbed circles into both sides of your waist, secretly loving the way your face twisted up in embarrassment.
“that feel good?”
the quiet shlick of the oil against your almost-naked body only served to made his cock strain against his boxers. he imagined your pussy clenching around his cock making those same sounds, and just how loud you’d be.
katsuki couldn’t help but coo when you were trying so hard to keep quiet.
“s fine...”
he wasn’t satisfied with that, he knew he could make you feel better than that, right?
with a new determination, katsuki looked intently for any sounds he could pull out of those pretty little lips. he pressed and massaged every kink he could find, pants steadily getting tighter.
when he reached your lower back and pressed deep, he was pleased to hear a choked whine slip out.
bingo.
“oh?”
you hid you head in your hands out of pure embarrassment, and oh, how katsuki hated that.
“‘dunno why yer hidin’. ‘s cute.”
the more desperate sounds he got out of you, the harder his cock got. after a while he couldn’t help himself, and pressed himself flush against your backside.
you tried to turn around to question the sudden friction, but your head was pushed back down onto the silk pillow cases.
“uh uh, keep that head down f’me. y’know i’m not done yet.”

bakugo fluff to heal the soul!
Tumblr media
bakugo katsuki was fuming in his seat.
it’s not necessarily strange for him to be doing so, but normally it was due to the antics of kirishima and kaminari that gets him all riled up. this time though? it was you.
it all started the moment you stepped foot into the classroom because as soon as mina noticed you, she was already shouting her heart out at this hour of the morning (not that the time mattered much to bakugo because he wanted her to shut up at all times of the day).
but it was what she said that ticked him off even more.
“y/n! you’ve got an admirer!”
bakugo katsuki had to watch in slow-fucking-motion how your face lit up in a (beautiful) smile that almost had his anger raging as wildly as his explosions because it wasn’t him that was making you smile like that.
it wasn’t his love letter that had you giggling and flustered, it wasn’t his bouquet of flowers that you were fawning over and it wasn’t his box of sweets that you were admiring. only he had the right to make you feel like that.
bakugo is brought out of his misery with the familiar voice of a certain red-haired. “oi! thought you’d never confess to y/n, finally grew a pair?” kirishima asked, bending down to match the blond’s seated position.
bakugo scowls harder as he gruffly murmured, “that wasn’t me.”
“oh man! really?” kirishima looked back at your desk, noticing the gentle way that you were handling the gifts, setting them down on the floor beside you. “i guess y/n is popular, better shoot your shot before it’s too late.”
small explosions spark from bakugo’s palms as he screams, “i know, dumbass!”
for the rest of school he had to witness the dazed, delicate expression you wore, paired with a gentle smile that never seemed to fade from your lips the whole day. he even found you fiddling with the card you received, reading it over for what seemed like the umpteenth time that day.
bakugo could write a better one.
and if that wasn’t enough, he had to watch the way you held the gifts closely in your arms, cradled protectively to your chest as you tried to preserve their sacredness, hearing about how you were going to ‘put the flowers on my windowsill. they’ll be so pretty!’.
he was going to blast those stupid floras into pieces, not understanding why you were feeling so special over some stupid extra’s ‘chivalrous’ actions because you deserved far better.
and you better fucking believe that he could make you smile wider than anyone else
that’s what he did, knocking on your door ferociously the next day, bakugo katsuki was holding an even bigger bouquet of arranged flowers, far more grand than the small one you received yesterday, as well as some of your favourite pastries from the local bakery that you always took him to. and as a card? well, it was him. did you need any more?
was his heart racing because of nerves or because of spite? he didn’t know.
“coming!” your voice comes from the other side of the door and sure enough, the telltale sign of a door unlocking reaches bakugo’s ears. you greet him with a smile, “oh, hey! bakugo- whoa, that is a big bouquet of flowers.”
“‘s for you,” he grumbles, unable to look away from your expression, gauging for a reaction. you’re silent for a moment before pointing at yourself.
a weak ‘me?’ slips past your mouth.
“who else, dumbass? you’re the only one worthy of fuckin’ flowers.”
he dumps them in your arms and you gape at him. “wait- was it you that gave me-”
“nope, but you best believe i outdid them.”
you laugh, a sound that bakugo has grown to cherish over the time you’ve spent together. with a softer, adoring look in your eyes, bakugo thinks he’s reached the peak of life as you meet his gaze. “thank you, bakugo,” you say quietly but there’s something in your voice that tells him that you’re trying to keep your giddiness on the low. he can tell in the way that you marvel at the flowers with a wondrous expression, holding them to your heart.
he scoffs, not in a dismissive way, but in a manner of content.
“oi, i’m takin’ you out tomorrow night, on a date.” bakugo tells you and your chest flutters in the way that it always does when you’re around him. “you’re always pretty so i don’t need to tell you this, but dress nice.”
you beam at him and his heart stutters, “‘kay, only for you though.”
“don’t say shit like that!” the blush on bakugo’s face tells you enough as he stomps away.
he’s happy when you send him a picture of his flowers that sit pretty on your windowsill.

Your Hero
Part 16.
( Bakugou Katsuki X Y/N )
Tumblr media
On the way to the Shirogane Drug Research Center, you clicked the phone to read information on social media, accidentally found a story related to Dynamight. You clicked on it to take a closer look.
On a certain day in a certain year, a huge tragedy occurred in the world, taking away countless lives and Quirks. All professional heroes, including students from the U.A. went together to face this danger.
A chaotic battle put everyone in crisis. Even all the professional heroes were deeply exhausted and seriously injured. When everyone fell into despair, a young hero who was covered with wounds stood up again. He faced despair and declare that will definitely win.
Everyone has fallen into a tragic and desperate situation, but these did not make him who was seriously injured and bruised bow to failure. For his self-esteem, for winning and losing, and for his dream of becoming the No. 1 hero, he once again stood firm in despair and guided everyone.
His stubbornness, self-esteem, pride, dreams and desire to win all pushed him step by step to the top and beyond his limits in despair. His shouts and fighting spirit instantly awakened in desperate situations and ignited the fire in their hearts.
Since he was a child, he has longed for All Might, the No. 1 hero symbol of peace. After the birth of the strongest hero, he has always been at the top of the hero popularity list because of his upholding justice, bold style, and superior combat power, so he is called the "No. 1 Hero."
But that young hero is different. He has a fiery personality, a strong self-esteem, and possesses powerful Quirks and fighting talents. He endured all the pain just want to win. Even his whole body could not move, he did not give up the small hope of victory.
He will never give up to prove his strength and worth to everyone at any time. Even if he falls into the abyss, even his body is seriously injured, even if his self-esteem is ruined, he will still get up again.
All Might is a character that is loved by the public as he shows a confident smile even in crisis. He is the complete opposite. He pursues the way to win and lose, and pursues first place. Even though he has a fiery personality, he has never forgotten his original intention.
The young hero relied on his talent and strength to become the youngest professional hero in the new generation. After winning recognition from many people with his excellent results and outstanding abilities, he successfully climbed to the top and became the No. 1 Hero.
With all his strength and sweat, he successfully proved to the world that he, who was still a young hero had reached his peak. He was once an immature boy, but now he has become the strongest No. 1 Hero.
Now entrusted with important responsibilities, he has set off a wave of heated discussions around the world. Although there will always be people criticizing and talking about him behind his back, these remarks actually push him to continue to prove himself.
This famous and powerful hero is Bakugou Katsuki, Hero Name Great Explosion Murder God: Dynamight.
"Hedgehog. Your history is at the top of the rankings." You looked at your phone.
"Of course! I'm No. 1!" He said confidently while driving.
"But this article is a bit fake because you are not as handsome as it says." You said with a smile.
"I'm going to fucking kick you out of the car!" He complained.
You heard Bakugou's words, but ignored him and looked out the window, not out of anger or disgust. It's just the following investigation mission that makes you feel a touch of melancholy.
Your situation seems familiar to the case, but can't tell whether it is related to the case. You and Katsuki decided to investigate before making a conclusion. He proposed to keep your own situation confidential for the time being.
On the way, Katsuki repeatedly warned you if remembered something, must tell him and never hide it. His intuition emerged in his mind and kept telling this case is related to your situation.
If your past memories are just an ordinary life, he feels reassured for you. But if the past really lying on the operating table, injecting drugs or human experiments are simply too inhumane and cruel.
Although you are calm, he knows that you will show a hint of uneasiness, and not show it immediately when something happens. He knows you are really feeling uncomfortable right now.
"I believe you." Katsuki said suddenly.
"Eh?" You turned to look at him.
"You are Hero, have to face any crisis, whether it is the enemy or yourself. Remember two points, I trust you, you have me to rely on." Katsuki said calmly.
You calmed down immediately after hearing what he said, and you were no longer as melancholy as before. It's incredible that he doesn't treat people gently, but the words that come out of his mouth are polite and comforting.
After arriving at the Shirogane Drug Research Center, Katsuki parked the car and you were about to get out but he stopped you. You turned your head and he kissed your forehead then lips. After separated, he glanced at you and smiled proudly.
"What are you doing?" You asked him with a blushing face.
"Just admiring you. Get out of the car." He got out of the car.
"The fuck?" Leaving you in a daze.
After you got off the car, you saw Kenji talking to other police officers, and several summoned heroes standing on the other side. Dynamight whistled for you to come over and go with him to understand the situation.
Kenji distributed the information from the research center to you and Dynamight, the two of you walked over to the heroes who were looking at the information. The heroes present that you are familiar with, including Hawks who is chatting, Deku who is reading the information, Shoto who is expressionless, and the cute Froppy.
"Hey, old friend! No.1!" Hawks immediately waved to you.
"Hi, everyone!" You walked towards them holding the folder.
"Wind Breaker, Kacchan." Deku greeted you both with a smile on his face.
"This is an investigation mission." Shoto said calmly.
"Kero, but why are you targeting this drug research center?" Froppy tilted her head asked.
"Idiot! Since it is related to drugs, it is basic common sense to start the investigation from the drug research center." Dynamight said.
You flip through the pages and read the information. The recorded information is the same as what Dynamight showed you privately, because they are all previous records.
The founders are Shirogane Raiju and Hayase Mei, but there is no news about them. A search team was sent to investigate before and there was no trace at all. Only the remaining files and information were retained.
Seeing the faces of these two people, a picture flashed in your head unconsciously. You pressed your head closed your eyes to recall it, but you only saw the picture of the operating table that kept playing in your mind. This picture made you feel extremely scary, you have begun to sweat.
A feeling of nausea filled your heart, you covered your mouth ran to a corner far away from the research center to spit it out. After vomiting, you no longer feel that way. You take out a handkerchief from your pocket and wipe your mouth clean.
"Damn it!" You hit the ground hard to calm yourself down.
It was just the photos of those two people that instantly reminded you. Although memory was fuzzy, you pretty sure you were related to this research center. The only thing that can be done now is to complete the investigation mission.
You felt someone tapping your back. You turned around and saw Froppy was following you to see how you were doing. Her expression showed concern, you stood up and responded to her with a smile.
"Kero...are you okay? You don't look good." Froppy hugged your wrist.
"I'm fine. Thanks for your concern, Froppy." You smiled.
"Just call me Tsuyu-chan." Froppy said with a smile.
"Then...Tsuyu-chan. You can call me Y/N-chan or Wind-chan." You said shyly.
"Kero~" Tsuyu-chan stood beside you happily.
The two of you were startled by the sudden call. You took out your phone it showed "Hedgehog". You answered the call immediately. Froppy stood aside and waited silently.
"Where are you?" His tone seemed a little anxious.
"I'm going back with Tsuyu-chan now. Sorry, I suddenly felt unwell just now." You explained to him.
"You go back to the car and wait for me." He said.
"It's really okay now. I can continue participate in the investigation mission." You said.
"Don't try too hard on yourself." He said.
"I'm begging you let me continue, Katsuki." You said urgently.
"Hey! You..." You hung up the phone on him.
Call Ended-
You looked at your phone it showed you had hung up on Katsuki. You blamed yourself. You knew he was concerned about your physical condition, but you tried to push yourself again and again.
You admit you are afraid. There is a pit deep in your memory that you don’t have the courage to cross. The vague fragments always disturb you, but you are even more afraid of recalling everything that happened.
"Wind-chan..." Kero comforted you.
"I'm fine." You said.
After you finished speaking, you saw her groping in her pocket. You stared at her out of curiosity to see what she looking for. She took out her phone and you looked at her blankly.
"Let's exchange contact information so we can keep in touch in the future." Tsuyu-chan smiled.
"Okay!" You happily took her phone.
You entered your contact information into Tsuyu-chan's phone, and she put your name as Wind-chan. It feels like she is comforting you in this way, but having her as your friend will naturally make you feel much better.
"It's okay, let's go back together." Tsuyu-chan said.
"Yeah." You smiled happily.
You all returned to the door of the research center to gather with the others. You saw Katsuki leaning against the door with his hands in his pockets and glaring at you. You looked at his fierce and cold eyes, you swallowed hard as you approached them.
"Here, old friend." Hawks threw a bottle of water at you.
"Oh... thanks." You took a sip of water after catching it.
"Are you okay?" Shoto asked.
"You looked very bad just now. Are you feeling uncomfortable somewhere?" Deku was nervously concerned.
"I'm fine." You shook your head.
"Wind-chan, do you have something to say to Bakugou-chan?" Tsuyu-chan poked you.
You nodded in response to Tsuyu-chan and walked over to Katsuki. His hands crossed in front of his chest expressionlessly, you took a deep breath to prepare, thinking about what you wanted to say.
Others watching from a distance were nervous for you, because Dynamight just glared at you with an angry look on his face. They didn't dare to get close to you two at all, for fear of starting a fight and not being able to stop you.
"I'm sorry Katsuki, I shouldn't have spoken like that and hung up on you so casually. I want to face everything, whether it's memories or you. Are you willing to give me a chance?" You smiled lightly.
"Do you know being unwell will affect your work? If you have time to apologize, why not save your energy and wait aside." Katsuki walked past you.
Listening to what he said, you understood his point. It was your stubbornness and assertiveness that caused the quarrel. Instead of yelling at you, he calmly reasoned with you to made you understand.
Katsuki is such a person. The calmer he is, the scarier he is. The more violent he is, the stronger he becomes. The combination of the two personalities is simply a strong one, but as his subordinate you have been causing him trouble and slowing him down.
You just stand there and reflect on yourself silently. In private life, you and he are lovers, but in the workplace, you work with him as a subordinate. You still know his bottom line very well.
Rather than sighing here, it's better to concentrate on completing the investigation mission now and then complain. It's work time and you have to stay awake and sane.
You mustered up the courage to shout to him "Dynamight!"
He stopped and looked back at you, "Huh?!"
"I know what I just did was wrong, but I want a chance." You walked up to him and said to his face.
He crossed his hands on his chest and looked at you expressionlessly. You felt his resentment, but he was much calmer than before. It was scarier than you imagined. Please stop making trouble next time.
"Final warning, if you dare to slow down the work, I want you to get out and stop interfering." He pointed at you.
"Yes! Boss!" You laughed, your heart finally calmed down.
After a while, Kenji came over and said, "It will start in 10 minutes."
"Ok!" Everyone was fully prepared to start the investigation.
You and the other heroes gathered together discuss the topic of the investigation mission. During the discussion, Hawks kept staring at you. You ignored him and continued the discussion. Until the conversation ended you were curious about what he was looking at.
"Hawks, is there something on my face?" You patted his back and pointed at your face.
"Come here." Hawks put his hand on your neck and pulled you close to him.
"Damn Eagle...get your fucking dirty hands off her" Dynamight complained from the side.
"Bakugou...why are you so murderous?" Shoto asked.
"Shut up! Half and half!" Dynamight scolded Shoto.
"Are you hiding something from me?" Hawks suddenly asked.
"Huh?" You asked him in confusion.
Hawks leaned close to your ear and said "Who left the mark on your neck?"
You were confused. He said there were marks on your neck. You took out your phone and looked at your neck. You saw there were teeth marks there. You immediately covered them with your hands wondered when they were there.
"Who is so possessive? Tell me!" Hawks clung to you.
"I..." You were thinking about how to explain.
"Old friend, don't tell me you don't know who it is~" Hawks looked at you with a mischievous expression.
"Fuck him to death." Dynamight was very angry.
"Kacchan?!" Deku was stunned by his aura.
"Bakugou-chan is much scarier than usual." Froppy added.
The only thing you thought about was Katsuki seemed to be biting, kissing and licking your neck in the morning. Although it doesn't hurt, but there doesn’t need mark in such an obvious place. When think back to what happened in the morning your face turns red.
"Keigo...you're annoying..." You said with a smile.
"I know him?" Hawks smiled sinisterly.
"Huh?!" You were surprised that he actually wanted to guess.
"General citizens or Hero? Wait! Let me narrow down the list and guess which lucky person it is." Hawks was curious.
"Keigo...you fucking want to guess?" You tilted your head.
"It's boring to tell me directly, so I'll just guess. Give me a hint. Is he here?" Hawks said with a smile.
"Hahaha." You nodded awkwardly and he was right.
Hawks looked around to see who it was, but he decided to be evil. He wanted to see who left the marks. After all, his personality is such a naughty one, he pulled you close to him and looked directly at you.
"Keigo?" You were confused by his actions.
"Your eyes are so beautiful." Suddenly he complimented you.
"Huh? Are you acting like an idiot?" You looked confused.
Hawks looked directly at you, and you knew that he did this on purpose to lure out the person who left the marks. You and he have been friends for several years so knew who he was.
Katsuki, who was in the distance, watched Hawks treat you very close, and he felt jealous. He vaguely felt that Hawks treated you differently, but now not the time for him to intervene.
"So who is it?" Hawks' face slowly came closer to yours.
"Fucking Hawks!" Just as Katsuki was about to pull Hawks.
You covered his face with the document "Sorry, my friend. I'll tell you next time."
Seeing you blocking Hawks' approach with documents, he finally felt relieved because you reject him. He's jealous because Hawks has known you longer than he has.
"Tch, stingy. You still want to hide it from me." Hawks pouted.
"I'll tell you when the time comes." You smiled and walked away.
The thought of Katsuki leaving marks in conspicuous places made you feel shy but a little amused. You walked up to him and prepared to argue with him, while Deku and the others stepped aside.
You stepped on his foot. "Boss, give me an explanation."
"Don't like it?" He tilted his head and smiled evilly.
"Fuck..." you secretly chuckled.
"The investigation mission can begin!" Kenji shouted.
"Yes sir!"
Once the door opens, Dynamight leads you and other heroes into the research center to conduct investigation tasks, while Kenji and other police officers patrol outside and seal off the scene.
Now it’s time for you to find the truth.
Part 16 end.
*If you have any ideas, you can leave them in the comment section, and I will try to add in the story.*

Bakugo in Bed
here's that spicy bkg hc I promised!
cw: sex obvi, afab!reader, reader squirts once, dom!katsuki, soft!katsuki (bc I love both hehe), biting (f. receiving)
characters have been aged up +22*
a/n: *I forgot to add this but this is true for all of my posts, which is also stated in my welcome message.
MDNI
When you first started having sex together he was surprisingly shy, he was so embarrassed the first time you saw him hard, straining against his jeans.
Which means you were the one who did a lot of the guiding in the beginning, telling him what you liked and rewarding him when he behaved (which is also when you learned he had a major praise kink)
It wasn't long before he became more confident, though. The first time he edged you just to prolong his own pleasure, seeing you squirt on his cock, he realized how much you truly liked his domineering attitude, even in bed.
The way he flirts with you changes, too. That is, he now knows how weak you truly are for him, so he fully leans into it, teasing you with his body and pressing kisses in your most sensitive spots, like right behind your ear or on your wrist.
Not even to be mean, or lord it over you. No, him realizing you like him exactly how he is totally boosts his mood, and he's much more confident.
One of his favorite positions is sitting up in bed while you ride his lap. He likes that you can control the pace, fucking yourself on him, and he can look right into your eyes as you come on his cock.*
You're shocked when he asks if he can bite you, but when he does you're not sure why he hadn't been doing it all along
Doesn't really know about aftercare but he's actually pretty good at it? Like he fully just without any pointers was like hey I kinda tore into you rn are you good? And wants to shower with you to make sure you're okay
Building off that w my massages w Katsuki hc those post sex massages are the best 🤤 he loves kissing the places he was rough on like around your hips, massaging those bite marks so softly while he whispers sweet things into your skin
He's the horniest in the morning. Has woken you up at the ass crack of dawn because he wanted sex more times than you count (which like yes you love it but also i need sleep kacchan)
He loses control when he comes, unable to form a sentence, just panting and moaning softly into your ear or mouth (he loves kissing when he comes)
If you normally call him by his last name and call him by his given name when youre alone together have mercy on him 🙈 he loves the way his name sounds on your lips while he fucks you
Loves being rough with you in bed but he also needs those quiet sessions where you're both just humping into each other and moaning quietly in each other's ears because he loves how gentle yall can be with each other
Likes to rile you up randomly around the house and then leave you hanging. His favorite is to come up behind you while you're cooking to lean his body against yours, your hips straining against the counter, while he presses kisses against your neck, before he pulls away to ask you about dinner like nothing happened.
He says it's because he can't resist you (and he cant) but it's mostly because he loves when you whine for him and make him feel wanted.
Tysm for reading!! Pls let me know what you thought, rbs/comments are always welcome 💖
*if you liked this I did a lil fic that builds off this hc if you'd like to check it out! :)

Katsuki Bakugo X Shy Autistic Male Reader
A/N: I am dedicating this month to autistic readers and women-identifying readers as well courtesy of women's history month and autism awareness month as well. Most will be drabbles so between 1k and 1.3k words
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You had a habit of fixating on things. Whenever something caught your interest you needed to know every single thing about it. A lot of people found this annoying about you but, you didn't care. Who wouldn't want to know everything about a subject if it interests them, right? There is nothing wrong with spending hours sometimes well into the night googling and reading articles, journal entries, excerpts, and other things as well about it. You would go to the first person who would listen to you and, that was normally your mama. Sometimes though she was too busy or too tired to listen to you even though you would keep going until she yelled at you to stop. It didn't hurt your feelings too bad because she promised to listen to you another time and promises were everything, they were someone's word. Right now though? Your fixation was Katsuki Bakugo. You would observe him and everything that he did. The color of his hair when it shined in the light, when it was the 100-watt bulbs in the common room, sunlight, bathroom light. The way his skin glistened the angrier he got and the more he moved and used his quirk. The shade of red his eyes turned depending on his mood or the outside weather, even who he was talking to. He was a whole puzzle, more like a 5,000-piece puzzle and you loved to do puzzles. The only problem is that you cannot find it in you to interact with the 5,000-piece puzzle.
"Hey Y/N?" You turned jumping a little not hearing or even seeing Izuku walk up to you. You liked Izuku a lot. He was the first one you told that you were autistic and he still treated you the same but with more understanding. He had patience explaining things to you that you didn't understand as well. Also, he would let you hold onto his 100% cotton burgundy t-shirt that smelled like citrus. "I didn't mean to scare you but, I got some more stuff you can write down in your notebook if you want?" Oh yeah, you told him about your infatuation with Katsuki and he was more than willing to help. The whole 'Dekusquad' actually agreed to help at your pace though because they didn't want to rush you or overwhelm you.
"Thank you Izuku, let me just get my blue notebook with my pen." You pulled out a blue composition notebook that you kept for strictly Katsuki. You would think you would have a red or orange or even a green since those were his colors but, you wanted something simplistic and in your favorite color. He was your favorite person besides Izuku anyway.
"I know you have a lot about him but, there is no such thing as too much right?" You nodded your head in agreement looking down at his hero analysis book. He had a lot of them chock full of details, especially of his classmates and you thought he was pretty cool. It was nice to have someone who didn't mind listening to your rambling on and on about a topic and never getting bored. He even showed the same interest and you listened to him as well.
"Do you think he hates me?" You didn't think he did, it was no harm in asking. You had a habit of not 'reading the room' whatever that meant and jumping to conclusions, assuming really the worst. Izuku gave you a look as if you said something wrong.
"What makes you think he hates you? Trust me on this Y/N, Kacchan does not hate you. It's the opposite actually but, that's something you're going to have to find out for yourself. You will find it soon enough. You can even ask him." You did not want to directly ask him. Every time you had a conversation with him you felt that you were not getting anywhere talking to him. However, you managed to catch his interest in cooking and gave him different spicy recipes and regular recipes he can cook. He even cooked some of them already and would come to you for suggestions as well as tips for your quirk. Since you had a magnesium quirk he suggested the best non-flammable items and where to get them at. That was the basis of your friendship but, you did not want a friendship. You wanted to hold his hand and smell his hoodies and t-shirts. Give him cheek kisses too if he wants but holding hands and spending time with him is good enough for you too.
"Do you think I am overthinking it? Should I just ask him? How would I ask him?" He was always with Ejirou, Hanta, Mina, and Denki. He never really got time to himself except for when he was going to bed. He hated being disturbed because he got up at 4:45 AM. You knew this because you were up at that time going to bed at 9 PM unless you were researching a specific topic or doing homework that you couldn't finish during the day.
"I think you can ask him at night right before 8:30. He would not mind if it is you knocking on his door." You weren't sure what he meant but, that must be a good thing. That means he would not mind you interrupting his sleep. He has to like you in some shape or form.
"Thank you Izuku." You grabbed his notebook to write down anything new while listening to the buzz of the deku-squad talking around you. You looked up one time to look around spotting Katsuki looking at you already so you attempted a smile. He seemed to freeze before giving you a small one back. Just as quickly as it appeared it was gone. You filed that away of things you liked about Katsuki for later. The rest of the day went by fast with you mostly in your head and Aizawa as well as your friends coaxing you out of your head. It was very nice and sweet of them to do that for you. It was finally night time and everyone was in the common room watching TV when at 8:05 Katsuki announced he was going to bed. You waited another 5 minutes before waving goodnight to your friends and heading upstairs to the dorm. You weren't going to yours, you were going to Katsuki's. You made it to his dorm and before losing your nerve like you always did you knocked three times lightly. You danced on your feet a bit nervously until the door swung open.
"Didn't I fucking say-" He stopped mid-sentence when he saw it was you and you completely froze up. Everything you were going to say just went out the window and now your mind was blank. You couldn't even get out what you wanted to say.
"I-uh, umm, I just-I don't-Uh." You were stuttering and beginning to panic too. This was not how it was supposed to be. You looked up at the feel of a hand on your head and playing with your hair. You looked at Katsuki who was smiling softly at you.
"Take your time I'm in no rush." He was being very nice to you and his voice and hand were helping to calm you down. Finally, you were able to formulate words.
"You're very pretty, um, you're very nice to me too, uh, I was wondering if, I can hold hands? No, uh, yeah I want to hold hands with you, kiss your cheeks, and cuddle. That's what people who want to be more than friends do right?" It was silent and you thought you said the wrong thing until Katsuki pulled you in for a light hug. You were confused but, tried to hug him back even though it felt weird, right?
"We can do all of that at your pace, yeah?" He meant it! He wanted to do those things with you! He really did! You looked at him giving him a crooked smile.
"Yeah! Thank you Katsuki." You closed your eyes leaning against him a bit as he guided you inside to talk. Izuku was right.

Serenade
Tumblr media
You felt as if you were floating on a cloud as you strolled down the oceanfront boardwalk. For months now you've worked at Dynamight's agency. Drooling over the mighty heros presence every time he'd walk by. The rare chance he'd look you in the eyes, you felt your heart skip. When he would ask you a question you'd suddenly forget how to breathe, automatically forgetting what he just told you as you got lost in those ruby eyes.
"Come on dumbass, I don't want to miss this band!" Katsuki growled as he grabbed your hand and pulled you along. "What are you daydreaming about now?" he asked as you both stepped through the entrance to the pub. The bright marquee above boasted the band playing. In smaller letters beneath it read,  'Open Mic Night'
As Katsuki found you both a table to sit at, he glared over at you, "So, you gonna tell me what you've been thinking about all night?"
Bakugou Katsuki, Japan's number two hero, always perceptive. It came as a huge surprise when he asked you out for this date. You thought it may have been a cruel joke at first or maybe you were dreaming. If you were, you didn't want to wake up.
"I'm just enjoying this night is all." you answered with a smile.
"Yeah?" Katsuki asked softly. Shocked at how happy you seemed. His eyes raked over your body and he held your hand. The heat from his touch had your heart fluttering. You watched the tip of his ears turn pink as he gently rubbed your thumb over yours. Then, in true Dyamight fashion, never letting his guard down, he let out a brash 'Good!' You couldn't help but let out a giggle at his actions, catching the corner of his mouth turning up into a smirk.
The band that played put on a really good show. Though you wouldn't be able to recall a single moment if asked. No, all your attention was reserved for the blonde standing next to you. You gawked at Katsuki as you watched his muscles strain, fist pumping the air. Your eyes rolled back in your head and you clenched your thighs tightly as the sweet smell of burnt sugar mixed with the cologne he wore permeated your senses.
You watched the band tear down their set as Katsuki grabbed some water for the both of you. The jukebox played a slow song when you suddenly felt strong arms wrap around your waist. You inhaled deeply and smiled.
"You look beautiful tonight by the way" Katsuki's lips ghosted the shell of your ear. You tilted your head back to rest against his chest and he held onto you tighter. Katsuki ran his nose up and down the crook of your neck, "Y'smell so damn good" he whispered softly.
The loud squeal of the mic broke you both out of the intimate moment. A guy announced it was time for open mic.
"Oi', where the hell are you going?" Katsuki grumbled as you broke away from the embrace. You turned around and gleamed, noticing his scowl, "I'm going to sing!" you shouted, leaving him standing there with a confused look on his face.
You positioned yourself as comfortably as possible on the stool they provided you. Katsuki watched you from the edge of the stage tune the guitar. To him, you looked like a goddess sitting up there. The soft stage lights gave your skin a subtle glow. He still couldn’t believe that you agreed to go on a date with him. He put off asking you for weeks, always talking himself out of it. He would ask himself why someone as beautiful as you would want to date him? He knew his attitude put off a lot of people. The type of girls he usually attracted in his opinion , were the dim witted bimbos. Only wanting to be with him for his celebrity hero status or saw him as eye candy. Something to boast to their friends about. But you, he could tell you were different. He knew you would eye fuck him every time he walked by your desk outside his office. But he also knew you saw him more than just an object. He found himself walking past your desk for no complete reason, just to catch you ogling him. Sometimes he’d stop to ask you some mundane questions. Internally laughing at how flustered you’d get. Always giving him a respectful bow and answering with a ‘Yes Sir’ , it had his cock twitching and wanting more. It was cute how obedient you would try to be for him. It took all his willpower to hold back all the pent up frustrations you’ve caused tonight. He was just about to drag you out of the pub and back to his place when you ran up on stage.
The slow strumming of the guitar had his attention snapping back to you. The lights dimmed and a perfect hue of colors bathed over your form. Katsuki didn’t even hear the cackling of girls calling out his hero name as they noticed him. There was only you. When you began singing he could have sworn he heard angels. Everyone else in the crowd seemed to disappear. The same went for you. As you continued to sing, never breaking from the gaze you both shared. You watched as his Adams apple bobbed, taking a big gulp, watching you intensely as you finished the song. You ignored the claps and praises as your eyes followed the only person in the room that mattered. Forgoing the stairs on the side, you decided to meet him at the edge of the stage. You held onto his shoulders as he tightly gripped your hips, slowly lowering you down, sliding against his body. Katsuki let out a grunt as he watched you bite your bottom lip.
“Fuck!” he whispered, “Let’s go!” He adjusted himself then grabbed your wrist, pulling you out of the building. As you both turned the corner down a less crowded walkway, you found yourself pushed up against the wall. With one of his huge hands he managed to pin both of your wrists above your head. His other managed to find its way under your shirt, fondling your breasts over your bra. You let out a whimper as he bit down on your neck and his knee worked its way between your legs, nudging against your heated core. Katsuki lapped at the bit of blood he caused with his teeth. He was willing to fuck you stupid right there, who cares who would happen to see. All he knew is that he wanted his cock deep inside you. He wanted to feel your walls tighten around him as you came yelling out his name.
“Ferris wheel!” you shouted.
“Hah?” Katsuki was once again confused at your actions as you took off skipping towards the boardwalk. “What are you going on about now shitty woman?” Katsuki yelled, giving your ass a smack. You turned around to chastise him only to be met with a searing hot kiss. He’s forgiven.
“I wanna ride the ferris wheel Katsu” you said pouting, jutting out your lower lip.
“Oi’, don’t pull that shit with me!”
You gave a smirk as his hand wrapped around your neck pulling you in for another kiss. He really couldn’t get enough of you. When you both came up for air you saw Katsuki staring over towards the pier. He then agreed to go on the ferris wheel and before you knew it, you were in line for the ride. You stood waiting as you watched Katsuki whisper something in the operator's ears and slip him some cash. Maybe he was bribing the guy to keep quiet about the number two hero being there. You felt all giddy like a little girl again as you both climbed into the cabin. You gazed out the screen window, mesmerized by all the sights and sounds the pier had to offer.
“C’mere” Katsuki said in a raspy voice, pulling you into his lap. It was silent as you both enjoyed the moment.  The ferris wheel had stopped at the very top and you were taking in the view of the surroundings below when you felt Katsuki’s hot hands on your thighs.
“It’s beautiful isn’t it?” you asked as you turned to face Katsuki, finding him looking at you, ignoring everything else.
“It is” he said, pulling your head down to kiss you passionately. His hands trailed up your thighs  to wander under your skirt, his fingers finding your panties a wet mess. “So wet already, are you really that eager?” he asked as he pushed a finger against your clothed clit. He swallowed your moans once again kissing you deep. You lifted your hips as he pulled your panties down past your thighs. No longer patient he slid a finger along your wet fold sliding it in your tight hole. Using his thumb to rub at your swollen clit he impatiently entered another finger which got him a moan from your lips.
“Come on princess, I want you to cum on my fingers so I can taste how good you are.” he said before nipping at your ears. Your back arched against his chest as he pumped his fingers faster.
“Ah, I’m gonna cum” you managed to rasp out before gushing on his hands. Katsuki removed his fingers to suck on them. Watching him hum with approval had you squirming in his lap. You wanted more. You could feel his hard cock press into your back and you wondered just how big it was.
“Katsuki” you gasped. Hearing his name is all it took. He stood you up and had his pants and boxers down around his ankles in seconds.
“Be a good girl and ride me” He said, pulling you back into his lap.
“I don’t think we’ll have time, Katsu” you said, looking around the outside, waiting for the ferris wheel to move at any minute.
“Don’t worry sweetheart, this thing ain’t moving for a bit still” he said with a grin. You suddenly remembered his interactions with the operator. Catching a glimpse of pre leaking from his red swollen tip you couldn’t hold back your urges any longer. You hovered your entrance over him and slowly sunk down onto him letting out a loud moan then quickly stifle yourself remembering you were in public. “Go ahead, make all the noise you want babygirl. Nobody is going to hear you up here.”
“Fuck, yeah that’s it” Katsuki grunted as you fully took him. You whined his name again as you felt the tip of his cock hit your cervix. He pulled your bra down letting your tits pop out. He took his time giving each one special attention as he enjoyed the way you bounced ontop of him. He could feel you clenching his cock tightly, “I know you’re close baby.” he said using his thumb to rub at your clit. “Come on princess, let me feel you cum all over my cock”  Your thighs shook uncontrollably and you collapsed on his chest as he kept circling your clit, helping you ride through your orgasm. “That’s it, good girl. Good girl” he whispered in your ear.
Katsuki placed his hands on your hips and held you still as thrusted up into you at a fast pace. He was now solely working on his release.
“Ah, yes. Yes, Katsu. Fuck, right there” you screamed as he hit that special spongy spot that made you see white stars. His breathing became ragged, you knew he was close.
“I’m so close princess,” Katsuki grunted. “Gonna pump you full of my seed. Might even get you pregnant.” You came hard at his words. You didn’t want the orgasm to end. You never felt such bliss. “Fuck, you liked that huh? You like the idea of being swollen with my kid?” You called out his name again burying your head in the crook of his neck. Katsuki dug his nails into your flesh leaving crescent moon shapes. “I’m cumming, I’m fucking cumming” he growled as he released his hot seed into you. You finally collapsed onto him not being able to move. You rested your head on his sweaty chest taking in his sweet caramel scent as he drew invisible circles on your back. When your breathing returned to normal he helped you get dressed and the ferris wheel once again began to move.
As you exited the cabins you overheard the operator apologize to those waiting in line for the ‘malfunction’ catching his wink at Katsuki. You were about to ask him if he remembered where you parked when you heard a bunch of girls squeal.
“Fuck this” Katsuki smirked into your neck, grabbing you by the waist. “Hold on tight princess, you’re going for a ride”
And we have lift off!!!

Hey, do you needa ride?
~ bakugou katsuku x fem!reader ~ tags/cw: aged up bakugou, university AU, friends to lover, fem reader walking home at night and men are scary tw, fluff. ~ wc: 2.k ~ a/n: Honey is a replacement for Y/N. part one to x
"Hey, do you need a ride?"
A man shouts at you from a black sedan idling at the curb. With a strange precursory glance towards the peculiar car, you determine it doesn't belong to anyone you know and continue walking towards the bus stop a few meters ahead. You aren't one to give attention to strangers knowing they usually aren't worth your time, but it is late, and perhaps sparing a quick peek at the vehicle and driver inside would slash you off their possible victim list. The car follows you and the unknown man shouts for your attention again, but despite his best attempts, you stare forward towards the well-lit and heavily surveilled bus shelter. You can fight and have been training in self-defence and combat for years alongside your quirked-up classmates, but the double shift you had just pulled had your energy levels depleted past the point of exhaustion.
They shout louder, words now wholly comprehensible. "Hey, dumbass, it's me."
You whip around at the voice. It was so familiar yet clouded, like hearing a childhood song in your adult years. The way that man calls your name has you squitting in the darkness, a hand rising to shield your eyes from the harsh streetlight.
"Bakugou?"
"Who else would be screaming at you?" Katsuki answers as if it were obvious he was the one heckling you from a random car and not some stranger.
"Crazy people?!" you point out. "You can't just pull up to a girl on the street and scream at them!"
"But I know you, and I'm not screaming; I'm asking if you needa' ride?" he sounds exasperated.
"By screaming at me." you clarify.
"Do you need a ride?" a repeat of his earlier question, though now the tone is flat and bordering on annoyance.
"No, I'm about to catch a bus." the hands on your watch inch closer to the bus's scheduled time, and it has your steps hurrying.
Katsuki inches the car forward to keep in line with you.
"Where are you going?" he's shouting again.
"Home." You answer plainly as if there were no other destination for you so late at night.
"Where is home, idiot?" he stops when you stop, pulling up the car's handbrake and staring at you through the open passenger window.
God, he is persistent. At any other point in time, you would have jumped at the chance to spend a few minutes in the car alone with the head of your class, but you had just finished work, and you were tired and stinky and cranky and really not in the mood to flirt with him if the chance arouses.
"I'm catching a bus; it's okay. I'll see you tomorrow!" you attempt to shoo him away, bus card held high in the air, but it does nothing to deter your classmate.
"I'm not letting you catch a bus at 11:45 at night; get in the car."
"No, Bakugou, I'm fine! I live too far from here, and there's a bus in five minutes!"
"Get in." Katsuki commands and reaches across his console to open the door.
"Katsuki, please, I'm-"
He rolls his eyes at your protest.
"Honey, get in the car, or I'll put you in myself."
Your breath leaves you in a jagged exhale at the thought of Katsuki manhandling you. The idea shouldn't stir up such an emotion, but you can't help the heat that starts to bloom in your gut. There is a beat of silence as you weigh up the likelihood of stalling him long enough for the bus to come and then hopping on it before he can say another word. Still, he might follow the bus to make sure you get home safe, you think, and your heart squeezes at the chivalry he displays, but your thoughts are interrupted by the sound of a car door opening.
"In. Now." You look up from the footpath to see Katsuki standing outside the car, one arm draped over the hood and the other pointing at you.
"Can I at least give you money for the trip?" you sigh in defeat.
"Just get in." he mutters angrily as he slides into the car and closes his door.
You slip into the leather seat, carefully place your bags on your feet and squish yourself against the door in a pathetic effort to take up less room and appear less inconvenient.
Katsuki looks at you as he pulls away from the shoulder and back onto the road. "What are you doing?"
"Sitting?"
"Like a freak, can you relax, please?" his tone has an edge of annoyance. "I haven't kidnapped you."
Your attempt at relaxation is a shaky exhale as you sink into the seat, inching towards sitting fully in the chair instead of on the edge. Bakugou is still looking at you, left eyebrow raised in confusion as you fully relax into the soft leather.
"There you go," his praise is sarcastic. "See how easy it is to sit like a human!"
"I'm nervous, okay?" you blurt out, truth spilling out of your mouth before your brain can comprehend what is happening.
Katsuki scoffs, flicking on his turn signal. "At what?"
"It's a new environment, and I don't know it very well and-"
"It's a car, how new can it be?"
He turns onto the freeway, switching gears as he speeds up.
"It's a car I haven't been in before, and it's yours, and I don't know you very well, and I don't know what to talk about, and I feel uncomfortable, and I don't like feeling uncomfortable", you're rambling. You don't think the words will stop falling unless you physically stop your mouth from moving. "I don't like being an inconvenience, and I feel like I'm inconveniencing you right now, and I'm really sorry."
Silence fills the car as your monologue comes to an end. Heat fills your body in embarrassment, and you have to stop yourself from ripping open the door in an attempt to flee.
"Everything you just said is so stupid." There isn't an ounce of apprehension within his honest reply.
"What?" disbelief and irritation fill the space once held by humiliation.
"You're not being an inconvenience because I offered to drive you, so that's stupid, and you're stupid for thinking that." Katsuki looks at you quickly, smirking, before focusing on the road. "And now you're in my car, so it's no longer new, and you can ask me anything to get to know me."
"You're really mean." You laugh, not entirely joking but not fully serious at how he insulted your way of thinking. A small part of you hopes he will explain and apologise for the miscommunication, but you know him well enough to know that will never happen.
"I'm giving you a free ride," he gesticulates to the inside of the vehicle. "How am I mean?"
A snort leaves you at the absurdity of it all. Katsuki is right; he is giving you a free ride after threatening you with physical manipulation if you did not comply with his orders, and while you wish he just let you take public transport home, you are grateful he stopped.
"I didn't mean it when I called you stupid; it was a wrong word choice." Katsuki apologises, an unnatural softness in his gruff voice.
"huh?" you ask, confused at the admission coming out of left field.
"Im sorry, you're not stupid."
You start laughing, unable to contain the giggles that are boiling over.
"Why are you laughing! I'm apologising!" he looks at you, mouth open in shock and mock offence.
You slap a hand over your mouth to stop the giggles, "I'm sorry, I know you're apologising. I'm-"You slide your hand into your pocket to fish out your phone, "Can you say that for the camera again, please? I need to get you saying sorry, no one will believe me otherwise." You click open the camera, and Katsuki's angry face appears on your screen.
"Who's being mean now, huh?" he reaches out and shoves the phone and your hand into your lap, covering the camera lens with his hand. "I'm being nice driving you home and apologising, and you're laughing." Despite his annoyed features, he laughs with you. Dazzling teeth are on display as he smiles and looks over at you, brows furrowed in laughter. Small lines crinkle at the corners of his eyes, and despite never seeing the wrinkles, you know they are deep and engraved in his skin from years of secret smiles and laughter. You had never seen him smile before; you didn't realise his facial muscles worked like that outside of the battlefield, but it was nice to see it. It was nice to see him functioning like a normal twenty-something-year-old, not the persona he had meticulously built and wore diligently.
"Okay, okay" you concede, clicking your phone screen off. With the phone blank, you are now hyperaware of the hand still resting in your lap. It looks so much bigger next to yours, and for a second, you think about entwining your fingers with his. Imagine the feel of his calloused palm against yours, fingers slotting between yours and squeezing. The idea sends heat flooding through you, stomach twisting and the familiar and, frankly, unwelcomed throb between your legs. And as if Bakugou can read your thoughts, he pulls his hand away from yours and back to the steering wheel. You should apologise for not pulling away sooner and making it weird, but Katsuki speaks first.
"Can you put your address on the map so I know where I'm going?"
"Ohh, sure, sorry, my bad." You flip your phone over to open your navigation app.
"Stop apologising and use my phone; I can't handle people telling me I need to see it on a screen." he grabs his mobile from the mount and holds it out to you. "Take it. The code is 1496."
You stare at the cell phone now in your hands, and despite his obvious permission granted with the shared passcode, you're frozen and unsure if you were allowed to unlock the screen.
Katsuki repeats the code, slower and louder, just in case you haven't heard him over the low music, but you still don't move, not out of fear or anticipation but at the awkwardness now filling your body. A classmate whom you had barely spoken to before tonight had oh so casually given you his passcode and free reign of his phone. Your own boyfriend-not boyfriend had yet to show you his passcode; he hadn't even given you his number but you realise too much time has passed since you had been given the phone, and it was getting to look like you had never seen a phone before and were stumped by this sudden technological advancement. In a flurry of quick swipes, you unlock the phone and punch in your address, then place it back on its little perch next to the steering wheel.
Uncomfortable silence fills the car, and neither of you knows what to say, so you sit in the void, desperately wishing the other to break first and start rambling about nonsense. Bakugou is the one to crumble first, taking a shaky breath before beginning his question.
"Did you not have…I thought your boyfriend would have been picking you up?" There are way too many pauses in that sentence for his liking but seeing the great Katsuki Bakugou struggle through a sentence was very amusing.
"I don't have a boyfriend," you frown, turning your attention to your driver. "Well, I have someone, but we aren't together, but it's complicated. I'm actually not sure what we are, but he would never take me anywhere unless it's back to his, so maybe…" your rambling trails off as Katuski's frown deepens, brows furrowing in what you interpret as confusion. "It's new."
You lie and shrug, knowing that your thing with your upperclassman is not new; it is months old and decaying with each passing day.
"You looked pretty together at Denki's party last weekend." He points out, judgment clouding his gaze.
And he was right on that. You had gone to Kaminari’s latest gathering with your long term-long distance-low commitment-casual boyfriend and had been all over one another and certainly acted like a couple but the next day, radio silence from your party mate.
"He didn't have anyone else to take." The shame of how pathetic you sound fills you.
A loud and hearty guffaw leaves Katsuki, the sound echoing through the small cabin of the car. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to laugh like that." he looks over at you with wide eyes, seemingly apologetic and somewhat nervous about your reaction. "You deserve someone- wait, never mind, it's not my place. Here, play something." An aux cord is being shoved in your hands.
You have a good enough idea about Bakugou to know he isn't one to bite his tongue when sharing an opinion, so why was he hesitating now? What could he possibly say that would be so scandalous he refused to let it leave his lips? You deserve someone-
Someone who? Someone who picks you up from the side of the road so you don't have to take the bus home. Someone who lets you know their passcode without any apprehension. Someone who remembers your name and doesn't call you by pet names for fear of using the wrong name. Someone who makes you feel safe despite not knowing them all too well, someone who could have made a move on you in the small confines of their car but made no such attempt. Someone who sees you as a human? Surely, that someone doesn't exist, and you were reading into things. Katsuki was a hero in training, after all, and what kind of hero would he be if he left you alone at night to catch a bus?
The rest of the drive was devoid of any meaningful conversation. Just small, trivial facts about songs and artists as they shuffled around, crooning in the background and making things a little less awkward and for a brief moment, there was a sense of intimacy. Not in the way you so desperately want it, but a familiarity found only between friends who had spent endless hours in each other's company. It wraps around you like a warm, toasty blanket on a winter eve, reminiscent of the hugs you would give your friends as you bid them goodbye, knowing you would see them tomorrow, but the few hours of separation were just too much. You feel warm and safe, two things you haven't felt in a long time.
"Lemme give you my number in case you need a ride again." Katsuki requests as he parks in front of your building.
You shake your head, afraid that if you swap numbers, you'll be waiting for him to call, and you already have enough disappointment in your love life; you don't need this.
"Please, I won't bother you with weird texts, but if you need'a ride, please text me." He pushes, holding his phone out to you.
Apprehension bites at your gut, taking big chunks out of your insides and filling the space that is created, but you concede and grab the mobile.
"I won't ever call you, but I know you don't take no for an answer."
"I only heard the beginning of that sentence, but I'm pretty sure the end went; I'll call you when I work late and need to get home."
Bakugou punches in his digits, adding a weird emoji you can't make out at the end of his name before handing your phone back to you. "Ill see you tomorrow?"
You nod. "thank you again for driving me home even though I know you don't like anywhere near here."
"You know where I live?" he raises a brow, a grin tugging at the corners of his mouth.
"No!" you shout your correction but adjust the volume as you clarify your earlier statement. "I mean, I know Kiri lives around here, and he always complains that you live so far away."
Katsuki pouts. "I was hoping you were gonna admit to stalking me."
"I didn't hear what you said, sorry", you parrot his earlier joke and climb out of the car. "but I think you said okay, bye, ill see you in class." your hands are full as you scoop up all your belongings, carefully closing the door. "Thank you again, Bakugou." Your thanks are heartfelt, and you hope he knows that.
"You're very welcome, dumbass." He mirrors your sincerity with a small smile. "Now get inside; I wanna go home."
You follow the directions without hesitation, eager to get out of the autumn cold and only when you are safe and warm behind your apartment door do you eagerly check your phone and see the text waiting there.
Call me if you need me to take you anywhere, don't be stupid.

established relationship with Bakugou - saying the “l” word
*・゜゚・*:.。..。.:*・*・*:.。. .。.:*・゜゚・*
“Have you?” Bakugou asks, closing his door as you both step inside.
You’d gotten weirdly quiet and withdrawn when the groups' conversation turned to past relationships and though he hadn’t pushed to know why in front of everyone now that it was just the two of you he wasn’t going to hide his curiosity.
“Depends how far back you wanna go,” you say with a chuckle but he can tell you're just avoiding the question. “I was real popular in kindergarten, dated everyone, even held hands with a few of them,” you tease, pulling him toward his bed.
“Slut.” Bakugou smirks, pressing a kiss to your forehead before laying down. In the privacy of his room, he doesn’t hide the over eager show of affection.
You sit on his stomach, legs bent on either side of his hips. It’s not his favourite cuddling position but you always seem fond of it so he lets it happen.
“All yours now,” you respond, laying your head down against his chest.
He fights the smile that those words bring to his lips. Fuck yeah you were all his now, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t still curious if you'd dated other people before. It had never really come up but now that it had, and you’d promised to be more open about your past, he wanted all the answers.
“Seriously though?” he tries again.
You sigh, sitting up and sliding your hands to rest on his chest, taking a long pause before you reply. “I had one serious girlfriend,” you finally speak, staring at your hands, voice more sad than he would expect for you to talk about an ex. You pause again, index finger scratching against his shirt. You look at him, soothing some of the jealousy building. “She was like you in a lot of ways actually, just not-” your voice cracks. A few tears slip down your cheeks. It doesn’t seem like you've noticed so Bakugou quickly wraps his arms around your back and pulls you down so your face is hidden against his chest again, doing his best to fight the jealous thoughts.
Why the fuck were you crying over an ex? Were you not over her?
He’s sure anything he says will come out accusatory, so he tries to keep his mouth shut, rubbing your back and waiting for you to speak and explain, but he can’t help but ask, “why the fuck are you crying?”
You sniffle into his shirt and quickly respond, “sorry I just-” you let out a deep breath, breaking up your words, “I just love you so much.”
He freezes at your declaration. Hands going limp where they had been rubbing circles on your back. You sit up again.
“I didn’t mean to cry.” Though it's brief, when you lift a hand to wipe your eyes the spot on his chest is left feeling cold until you put your hand back. His mind is left reeling as you continue to explain, seemingly completely unbothered by what you just announced. “The whole conversation just brought up some bad memories. She was the worst, and you're the best, and I don’t deserve you-”
That’s where his brain starts working again.
He hooks his legs against yours and in one quick motion has you flat on your back as he looks down at you. “I love you so fucking much,” he declares at your surprised expression.
You blush, eyes wide as you smile back at him. “You don’t have to say it just cause I did.”
He frowns. “You think I’d pull that shit?” I am so fucking in love with you. Don’t say shit about not deserving me. I’ll beat your ass.”
You laugh, the wateriness gone but you still look up at him, eyes shining. “Yeah? Then you better put ‘em up.” You lightly tap his chest with your fist, fond smile taking over your face as you look up at him.
He leans down. Based on the sigh you preemptively let out and the fluttering of your lashes as he swoops down, you expect a kiss but he skips your lips and instead goes in to bite your cheek.
“Katsuki!” you squeal, pushing him off with another laugh.
“Say shit like that again and it’ll be worse.” He smirks at you wiping at the barely-there imprint of his teeth, trying to get the saliva off your cheek.
“You’re so stupid.” You roll your eyes with a smile, and when you lean up to kiss him properly he eagerly meets you halfway.
Even with the declaration leaving him dizzy and elated, he’s not finished with the earlier conversation. Bakugou hadn’t missed the part where you said he reminded you of your terrible ex. He needed to know more so he never made the same dumbass mistakes that fuckwipe did to lose you.
“You gonna complain about that bitch more?” he asks, settling down next to you, legs tangled as you hold one another. This, and every variation of spooning, his preferred cuddling positions.
“You really wanna know?” you ask after a pause.
And the simple answer is yes, yes of course he wants to know what idiot would mess up so bad. But even now, he can’t just say that. So instead, he replies, “gotta know the reason someone's being added to my murder list.”
You brush back the hair from his forehead, your smile more melancholy as you look at him. It tugs at his heart.
“I love you,” you say again, making him pull you just a little closer against his chest before you take a deep breath and begin to explain. “She was blunt, honest to a fault, never hid anything back or pretended to be anything she wasn’t.”
You smile a little when you say this, staring at his nose as your fingers trace the planes of his face. Bakugou knows you like to be fiddling with something when you're nervous, and he’s happy to be that something.
You meet his eyes. “Those are the things that drew me to her, and they’re some of my favourite things about you.”
He lets out a breath, making you blink due to the proximity. His chest tightens, waiting for the but; because those are usually the things people call him out for the most. Something he’s never backed down from, refused to even think about changing, but he’s aware they’re things that made many people leave him.
You go back to staring at his nose, smile falling from your lips. “But all she had were her words.” You run your index finger across his cheekbone, up the bridge of his nose, then trace his eyebrow back to the side of his face to repeat the pattern.
Some of the tension releases, he’s the fucking worst at words. The comparisons between this person who hurt you and him ending.
“She’d tell me she loved me and then didn’t do anything except for complain,” you start sounding more annoyed rather than reminiscent, “and she was so lazy. She would tell me I was doing something wrong but never offer to help or show me how she wanted it done.”
That brought the worry back. Did he not do that? He knew he complained. And told you when you were doing shit wrong. A lot. Had you told him off for that before?
You continue before he can say anything. “And she was so mean. Especially at the end, she’d insult me over and over and then slip in an I love you like it would fix everything.”
And now Bakugou has to ask, because the one thing he’s been called his entire life aside from strong has been mean. And do you just not see that? Is he hurting you in the same way and you just haven’t noticed yet?
“Do I not?” his words cut through the brief silence, not a finished thought but enough to get the question across.
Your fingers still their repeating pattern as you look back at his eyes and smile. “The fact that your even asking that should tell you.”
And that’s nice to hear but it’s not enough. He wants to make sure he’s never gonna mess this shit up so bad that you talk with such venom and hate in your voice about him.
“How?” he asks, staring at you intently, aware of every beat of his heart against his ribcage as you think.
You slide your hand back to finally rest comfortably on the back of his head, stilling your fidgety movements, a sign you're more relaxed. “You actually help me or just take over if you don’t like the way I’m doing something,” you start, and then you giggle, “you’re the absolute worst at compliments but you do a lot of nice stuff.” And then you shuffle a little, excited to share this other thought of him. “And you listen. Like, remember that time I called you out for calling me an idiot while we were studying?” His nod is quick and curt, contrasting your excited speech. “You still mess up sometimes, but, almost immediately, you switched to start calling me Einstein instead. It’s still all mean and stuff and very you but I like it. Makes me wanna do better, not just get depressed that I’m so bad at stuff. I like that you listened.”
Bakugou remembers that fight. A particularly hard math packet that had him constantly berating you because he knew you could do it faster and better but you kept fucking up. Until finally, you snapped at him, “can you stop calling me an idiot! I can see that already! You don’t have to make me feel worse about it!” And then you'd stood and stormed out of his room before he could retort. Though it stung in the moment, it had probably been smart. It definitely would have turned into a longer fight if you hadn’t.
The space let him think. It had been the first time you’d ever complained about any of the nicknames he’d ever called you, so he knew it really bothered you. And he’d been calling you that, well, because idiot is a nickname he used for everybody, but also because he knew you could do better, and if that nickname wasn’t going to motivate you, he could come up with one that might.
Then you came back a little later with some snacks and hot chocolate. Ironically, you apologized for yelling and then sat back down like nothing happened so he could finish helping you with the packet. He never fully registered the switch but he didn’t want to make you feel like he actually thought you were stupid or incapable again, so he did it.
“She never listened.” You're smiling at him, small and bright, and you joke, “you're still the worst, but you try, and you make me happy.”
He’s stunned. Happy. He makes you happy. Somehow, that’s almost better than 'I love you'. Bakugou pulls you closer and sinks his face in your chest. “You better fuckin’ call me out if I pull any of that shit.” His words muffled against you.
You wrap your arms tighter around him. “Of course.”
No bullshit promises that you know he would never, or that you’d understand it was different if he did it. Just an acceptance that, if he messed up, you’d give him a chance to do better.
He pulls back and looks you in the eyes again. “I love you.”
You lean forward, pressing a quick kiss to his forehead, then his nose, and then his lips. His eyelids fluttering and heart warming with every peck. “I love you too.”

Mission Report: Musutafu Sinkhole Incident, 02/03/2xxx
On March 2nd, 2xxx a sinkhole in the Musutafu district occurred at 17:52. There were fourteen casualties, including Pro-Hero Suneater. Forty-eight other civilians and heroes were rushed to nearby hospitals for injuries ranging from severe to devastating. Twelve had minimal injuries. Twenty-two are still missing. Numbers of victims are rising every day. Rescue efforts are still ongoing, the city blocks have been shut down and quarantined as fire and rescue fight the elements.
The sinkhole originally had been three blocks wide and three hundred twenty-seven feet deep. The original cause is still unknown, this investigation is ongoing but suspicions are that unstable water and sewages systems and years of poor foundation may be the cause. As soon as this emergency was dispatched, teams of heroes and sidekicks alongside fire and rescue had surrounded the area and began their rescued efforts. Surrounding the sinkhole, medics awaited for any survivors. The main concern was finding pedestrians and securing any unstable sections. Rescue heroes had been struggling with the amount of debris and noise made, making rescue efforts difficult. This raised the emergency level to a code black. Broken electricity lines quickly became a concern once the burst water and sewage pipes made contact. Many injuries that flooded the medic tents ranged from crush injuries, mild concussions, DOA (dead on arrival), or electrocution. Medic tents were busy and over filled for the next few days after the disaster, hospital emergency rooms flooded with drastic injuries.
Section five of the sinkhole had collapsed at 21:04, engulfing an ambulance truck, a petrol station, several civilian cars, a news station car, and two heroes: Shadow Step and Suneater. The collapsed section had sunken down an estimated one hundred more feet. Flooding, debris, collapsed vehicules and a small building had made rescue efforts all the more difficult. Investigations are ongoing to find the cause of this particular section caving in, however due to instability of the sinkhole, causes are still unknown.
Pro-hero Suneater and his sidekick Shadow Step had fallen into the collapsed section, with Tamaki Amajiki breaking his sidekick’s fall. Initial findings found that an ambulance had fallen too with them, threatening their safety as it was caught on metal piping. Reports found that the ambulance had slipped from the broken pipes due to the insecure structuring and water flooding, and the heroes were trapped underneath an ambulance for approximately sixty-seven hours. Suneater had heroically saved himself and Shadow Step under an oyster shell he had manifested. However due to his extensive injuries, his protection against the ambulance truck was fragile and weakening.
Unbeknownst to them, Suneater’s wireless earpiece had not been shattered from their initial fall and impact as he had believed. His last moments alive were recorded, lasting for an approximate four thousand five hundred and sixty minutes.
A team looking for the hero pair had been listening from a nearby zone in hopes of finding their location and saving them. Overhearing the grave condition Suneater was in, they knew they had a limited time before his quirk would cease working and both heroes would be crushed by the ambulance truck.
Said team of those heroes, all who are now currently in ongoing trauma therapy for the disaster and loss of their fellow number six hero are:
Number one hero Lemillion
Number two hero Deku
Number three hero Shouto
Number four hero Dynamite
Number five hero Hawks
Number sixteen hero Earphone Jack
The following is an excerpt of Suneater’s autopsy report:
Japanese Male, Twenty-seven years old, 179 centimeters, weighing approximately 87.9 kilograms. Pronounced dead on scene.
Traumatic cervical spine injuries had led to the extreme possibility of paralysis from these severe injuries.
Higher falls were associated with hemorrhage as well as rib fractures and various organ injuries. Organ injury patterns did not differ based on work status. The presence of equipment misuse or malfunction were not associated with more deaths upon impact. Suneater was not killed on impact.
He suffered extensive injuries, a broken arm, a broken leg and fractures of a number of ribs. Evidence of a pneumothorax was found due to a broken rib. A gash in his left thigh confirmed witness reports that a metal drainage pipe had stabbed through the upper rectus femoris muscle and shattered parts of the left femur.
Cause of death was blunt force trauma from the falling vehicle, with signs of tracheal collapse and the C2 vertebrae crushed.
End excerpt.
Due to Suneater’s broadcast from his receiver, evidence corroborated the accident reports. Shadow Step was to activate their quirk to switch positions with the ambulance that had been threatening to crush them both. After much debate Shadow Step finally agrees to Suneater’s plan, resulting in his death and their recovery.
Unfortunately, Shadow Step was not found immediately. The depression had been filling with sewage and rushing water from the broken water mains quickly flooding the area. Section Three had concaved and fallen to what experts estimate at least one hundred feet. Mud, collapsed cars, debris, had all made rescue efforts more difficult. Shadow Step was stranded at the bottom of the sinkhole for two more days without food or clean water. Dynamite, part of this rescue team, had been the one to find Shadow Step.
They were found at the scene emaciated with open cuts and wounds, a concussion, extreme exhaustion, infection in trauma fractures found in the left humerus, dislocated shoulder, broken collarbone, broken arm, broken ribs from impact, and a metal pipe in their upper left leg. Since Suneater’s transmission was the only record found, events that went underway with Shadow Step are unclear, although given the traumatic rescue, assumptions can be made about how critical and dire their situation was. Medical analysis showed they consumed gasoline, presumably from the petrol station that caved in with Section Three, and presumably because they confused it with water in all of the hysterics. Currently they are in an induced medical coma as they recover from surgery. They are not expected to return to work within the next few months. Attempts to find their soulmate are still under way.
The origins of the sinkhole are still under investigation. Villains are found to not be involved.
-(-)-
A sea of nothing. Everywhere it is dark.
You can feel the warm water underneath your back, gently rocking you back to sleep. Everything is quiet. You quite like the quiet. You float aimlessly. To be honest, you think you can live like this for the rest of your life. Are you even alive? Perhaps it’s purgatory. It’s certainly not heaven. Or maybe it is, you wonder. You really don’t care.
-(-)-
Maybe you do care. Where are you going anyway? Is this really heaven? Are you dead? You feel salt in your throat, burning your trachea and esophagus. There really isn’t anything to do here. What even is here?
You’re sick, but wasn’t there a proverb you read once that said the sick wouldn’t be sick anymore? Whatever, you supposed. You wiggle your toes in the warm water, floating aimlessly still.
-(-)-
Your mind is empty. Or maybe it’s anesthetized, so you wouldn’t feel the gaping wound it’s become. One day I’ll cry, you tell yourself with a faint smile. One day, I might care that I am dying.
-(-)-
Am I real?
-(-)-
Everything hurts. Nothing hurts at all.
You want to look, look and see where you’re going, where you are, but your eyes sting every time you even try to open your swollen lids. Instead, you settle for touch, using your fingertips to feel warm waves lapping around your floating body. You realize one of your arms is bandaged to your chest, the other in a sling. Slowly it comes back to you in flashes:
Falling.
Screaming
The force of the ground beneath you and Tamaki.
Tamaki…
You want to cry out but there’s a tube in your throat, choking you.
You want to move but your muscles won’t listen.
Bambi.
The waves under you feel softer, drier. Linen.
Bambi.
Your eyes open.
“She’s fighting the intubation,” a voice says next to you.
“Welcome back,” another says. “Relax for just a moment, babe, we are going to remove your breathing tube.” You gag as they remove the foreign object, coughing violently as soon as you’re free.
Bambi.
You struggle to speak, your voice is gone and every word feels like your vocal chords are grating against each other.
“Oh honey, shhhh.” The ICU nurse dabs your eyes, you’re crying. Why are you crying?   “It’s okay, it’s okay. You’ve been under for a while, you shouldn’t push yourself to talking just yet. Your doctors will be in soon.” You look at them wildly, not understanding where you are and what’s going on. The lights are too bright, the machines next to you, too loud. You try to flail your arms but one is tied to your chest, the other manages to smack an orderly right on the cheek.
“Sedate her.” The orderly is quick to strap down your free arm while a team of medical staff moves swiftly around you. “Three milligrams of midazolam-,” Your muscles loosen and it’s harder to keep your eyes open.
Bambi.
For the next week you’re in and out of consciousness. No one tells you anything suffice for the TV in your hospital room playing the news, over and over they tell the public the horrid news. You watch Tamaki’s memorial from your bed, veins pumping with sedatives to keep you from breaking down again. You watch his parents cry, unable to yourself. Lemillion gives a beautiful speech, so do others who know your fiancé. Knew. You correct this mentally over and over, but you never seem to get it right. After the news broadcasts, you watch trashy talk show hosts gossip about you. The police told you nothing was released, and yet here they are skepulating on who your mystery soulmate is. They tell all of Japan how you’re such a monster for letting Tamaki die, and your eyes flit to the hordes of cards and flowers sent to your bedroom, the fruit baskets that you cannot stomach to eat.
You don’t cry. You can’t. You really want a cigarette. You press that little grey button for more morphine instead.
Nurses and doctors filter in and out, updating you on your recovery. A few more weeks and your collarbone will be all set to go! Your O2 sats are rising! You might be weaned off this drip in a few more days!
“Why can’t you guys use the doctors with the healing quirks?” Your voice is hoarse, barely used, words slurring. You watch your med team stiffen, not used to hearing you speak. You suppose that’s what happens when you wake up screaming every morning, only shutting up when you’re pumped full of drugs.
“What?” You snap, “What aren’t you telling me??”
“The infection in your bone is spreading, even with the antibiotics and the surgeries planned for this week… we don’t believe it’ll be the same after. You wouldn’t be able to walk or run on that leg like you did before.”
Before . Before you and your fiancé were trapped. Before he died. Before when you didn’t even have a soulmate.
“What’re you saying?” You look down to your hand and play with the blanket covering your bottom half.
“With the progression of this infection, and with your career, we believe it’s best to proceed with an above knee amputation.” Your face grows hot and your tongue is numb.
“No, I don’t give you permission.” Your jaw locks.
The surgeon hesitates, “I’m afraid that isn’t up to you. The law requires that in the current state you’re in, medical decisions aren’t up only up to you; your soulmate must also be involved in the decision.” Soulmate.
“I don’t-,” You pause, almost delivering the same four words you’ve been telling everyone for years. I don’t have a soulmate. “I don’t understand. That isn’t fair.”
“It’s the law, honey” another doctor says sympathetically. “Your soulmate has to be onboard with this decision and even then, we highly recommend amputation. This infection can spread and all of your major organs could start to fail-.”
She talks and talks. All of it just angers you.
You feel like screaming. And so you do.
You scream until your throat burns, until your lungs scream for you to stop. You throw with your one good arm what you can at the idiots, cursing them and letting out the years of anger and frustration that’s been bubbling forth underneath your skin. You hate them. You hate them so much, you hate everything. You activate your quirk, not having done that since Tamaki, throwing chairs and medical equipment at them. Satisfaction is quickly lost when they start to restrain you, giving you a dosage to knock your quirk and yourself out.
-(-)-
For the first time in a while, you see him. Blonde tufts of hair swaying with the gentle breeze, a pink sky and a calm ocean in front of you both. His hair looks soft, like it’s only gotten the saltwater and ocean air to style it today instead of the expensive ass pomade he probably uses every day. You’ve always wondered how it felt, or maybe you didn’t. You can’t really remember how things were before. Before you had a soulmate. Were you always destined for Katsuki? What changed?  In any case, you wonder how long it usually takes the hero to style himself for his shifts. It used to take you an hour, on good days? Thirty minutes. You’re not gonna have that opportunity for a while now, you suppose.
When you walk, both of your legs work. You can feel the sand between your toes, sinking under your weight until it finds its way to finally support you. Fuck, you should’ve taken more vacations.  You should’ve taken that time off and felt the salt for real, feel the way the sun baked it all day just for you to dip your feet in the cool seawater. The sound of the waves draws your attention out toward the sea, a warm breeze hugs your arms and wraps around your legs.
You don’t look at him, the nerves in your belly tightening conflict with the warm excitement in your chest to see him after so long. It’s been so long. You didn’t realize how long you’ve been keeping track. Instead you look down at his hands resting at his sides, relaxed. They look soft… warm. You wonder if they’d feel like the sand beneath your feet. It doesn’t take long before you’re right next to him. Butterflies. They’re squeezing around your gut. You make the mistake of glancing at him, heart skipping to see his eyes have already found you.
You don’t really know what to say to him.
“What do you put in your hair when you’re on call?” Inwardly you roll your eyes at yourself, it’s a stupid question. But it’s the first time you talk to him in your dreams. Really talk to him. It’s the first time you acknowledge him as your soulmate in a dream. Those nightmares you both had, both of you never acknowledging what they could possibly ever mean, they don’t count. You still can’t decipher the meaning of those monsters, and you’re afraid to know. You’ve never gotten a chance to thank him properly. And he, you.
Bakugou doesn’t hide his surprise well, his lips part softly in confusion and he furrows his brow. “It’s a hair pomade-” Your sudden burst of laughter cuts him off and he scowls, “ What?!” You continue to belly laugh, shaking your head, unable to stop yourself. He watches you laugh so hard that your belly aches and your smile hurts. He watches when your laughter turns to tears streaming down your cheeks, his soft smile curling downwards with concern.
Katsuki stands, towering over you. His hands grab your hips and he pulls you in as you cry, sobbing into his chest all the while. You can feel him soothing you, rubbing his hand up and down your back, his nose at the crown of your hair taking in the scent of your conditioner. Your skin smells like the hospital Irish Springs soap. He sways you both, right in his arms. His heart beats right against your ear, a reminder of his love for you. You try not to think of him, but all you can think of is how it was to lay on Tamaki’s chest and feel and hear his heart slowly fading beneath his uniform.
Tears swell in your eyes. “You haven’t come to see me,” you sob. Your fists ball by his sides and as much as you want to pull away, you lean all your weight into him. He smells like vanilla and cinnamon sugar, like the warm sugary pastry treats you ate in the States during the summer. “Why?”
Katsuki  holds you, swaying and rocking you both gently. The waves lap at your toes, you wonder when the last time you stepped on a real beach was. You think about how it’s too late.
“I have,” he admits in a low voice. “I’ve been there.”
Out of surprise, you jerk back to look at him. “What? What do you mean?”
“I usually leave when the docs show up; didn’t really think you’d want me there to be honest, Bambi.”
“Why wouldn’t I?” You pull more away from him, anger flashing now. “Why do you think I would rather be alone in a godforsaken hospital room?”
His jaw tenses and he steps forward into the space you created, his hands surprisingly gentle as they squeeze your hips. “Bambi-”
“Shut up.” Your eyes narrows, “Don’t call me that. You know they’re going to take my leg?” Bakugou’s eyes glances down as you speak. “They won’t even listen to me! They refuse to, all because the fucking law says that my fucking soulmate has to give their permission too. I never have a choice. Everything is decided for me.”
“What’s so wrong about losing your leg, huh?” Katsuki snaps, “There’s nothing wrong with having one less limb. This is about your life, you idiot!”
“It’s my leg ! I cannot and will not go through with this amputation. You need to tell them that you agree with me!” With each step you move backwards, Katsuki refuses to let you get far.
“So fucking what!? Who gives a fuck if you lose your leg?”
“You’re kidding me right?” You glare at him, “You think no one would give a fuck? Tell me, Dynamite, would you still love me so fucking much if I weren’t the spectacular Shadow Step? If I weren’t able to train as much and-.”
“Oh shut the fuck up,” Bakugou groans and rolls his eyes at you. “Shut the fuck up. You think I give a shit?”
“All your life you gave a shit! You always sneered down at people who are weaker than you! Fucking bully, I don’t know why you of all people are my soulmate.” You laugh bitterly, spewing out hateful words you don’t even mean.
Bakugou doesn’t even flinch, instead he keeps stepping in that space you keep leaving between you both. “Yeah? You know me then, huh?”
“Yes,” you spit out. “Tamaki should not have been the one to have died.” Shut up, shut up, shut up.
Katsuki nods, his jaw clenched tightly as your fists pound against his chest. “And it shouldn’t have been me either. You were the one who convinced me to go back. It should have been you down there.”
“You don’t,” Katsuki catches your eyes and shakes his head gently. “You don’t know me.” Angry tears, fat and hot tears burn your cheeks now. Every step you pull back from him, you can feel the magnetism of the universe forcing you back in.
“I don’t want to get to know you,” you spew out. “I don’t want you. I wasn’t supposed to have a soulmate. You ruined that for me!”
“You can deny me all you want, sweetheart. But we are made from the same stardust, and you can’t get rid of that.”
“Oh sure, it’s meant to be.” You roll your eyes sarcastically and shove yourself away from him, “But it’s not meant to last.”
“Fuck you, you can’t tell me what this is. My love is there. It’s there and you can’t take that away from me,” Katsuki points his finger at you, accusatory. “It might not change anything and it’s definitely not gonna save anything, but it’s there.”
“Ignore it!” You swat his hands away when you slip in the sand, “If I can ignore this, so can you.”
“Bullshit,” he challenges. “You can barely ignore this, how can you ignore the stupid fucking magnetic pull between us??” Katsuki stops chasing after you for a moment, and rubs his face tiredly.
“I love you,” He says.
“It’ll pass.”
“Bullshit,” Katsuki glares back at you. “That’s how I know you don’t even know half of how any of this works. Do you know how hard it is, watching for most of my life seeing you with others? Watching you say over and over how you’re not tied to me? Denying me at every chance? Do you know what that’s like?”
You can’t reply, tears block your airway and your words and you look away towards the ocean instead.
“Ya feel alone? Imagine how I felt for the past twenty something fucking years, then you can tell me how lonely you feel right now. I am next to you, and I still feel lonely. I am next to my soulmate who finally, after seeing me in their dreams for months, is talking back to me. I’m homesick, all the time.” This time his voice cracks, and you feel your own heart doing the same. “I can go anywhere I want, except home.”
Longing for a home that doesn’t exist.
“And you’re still denying me .”
“I wouldn’t be,” you tear your eyes away from the waves and look up at his. “If you haven’t kept leaving the goddamn hospital room.” It’s a weak ass excuse, and you know it. You know the sting of your words is still hurting him, you can’t take them back.
“Well, you’ve been rejecting me your entire life. Why would you suddenly wanna see me, dummy?” His left hand caresses your cheek and thumbs away at stray tears. It’s too intimate, you don’t deserve it and all you can think about is Tamaki being crushed under that ambulance. You step back.
“I can’t, I can’t just move on. I still love him,” your voice cracks and more tears begin to spill from your eyes. God, please stop crying. I’m so sick of crying.
“I know,” he holds onto you tightly. “I’m not asking for you to stop loving him.” I just want to be the reason you choose to keep living each day.
“But you love me,” you cry into his chest. “I need you to stop loving me.” You know this isn’t how it works, you know because for the first in forever you feel whole as he caresses you tightly.
“You know I can’t, Bambi. I haven’t been in love with anybody, and never shall ,” he whispers. “ Unless it should be with you.”
“Please,” you start to push your palms against his chest and pull away. “I need time, I can’t just… I don’t know you well, Katsuki. It’s too much, my leg, the accident, you…”
“I know, I know you need time. I don’t want to push you, Bambi. But I can’t just leave you alone,” His hands caress your tear-stained cheeks, his eyes are soft as his love for you. “Let me take on your pain too, you shouldn’t have to carry it all on your own.”
You don’t wanna talk anymore about your feelings. Not with anyone and certainly not Bakugou right now, it’s too confusing. “You don’t have the compression sleeve.” You take his hand away from your cheek, and childishly you squeeze his fingers as you observe them. There aren’t any calluses on his fingers. His skin is perfectly smooth. No imperfections.
He doesn’t answer and you look up at him, he knows you’re evading. You know you’re evading. You both were just arguing, but you’re exhausted and you really just wanna stop fighting.
“Do you not know?” Katsuki asks, stepping back and searching for your expression, his left hand drums their fingers against your arm. Confusion rocks through you.
“Know what?” Your skin bristles and you feel yourself being pulled now as your consciousness starts to awaken. “Katsuki!” Panic sets in and then fear, you feel it all over again. It’s hot and makes you restless, like any second you might split. “I’m waking up, please don’t- please don’t leave me.”
You both step forward, holding tightly onto each other as you start to wake up. “You sure?” His voice is gruff in your ear.
No, you’re not.
“Yes.”
-(-)-
Your head is pounding and your mouth is dry. It’s probably been a day or two since you flipped your shit out on the medical staff. Mentally you take note to send them a fruit basket as an apology.
Everything is dim with exception for the machinery lights keeping you steady; your hand squeezes involuntarily and you feel something else. Katsuki . His hand is warm, gruff, weathered by his years in service. He’s still sound asleep, and you stare in awe with the fact the soulmates don’t wake up at the same time. Still tucked in, you don’t have to make much movement to know that the nurses have changed the bandaging on your leg again. Bakugou doesn’t stir when you adjust your hospital bed, and certainly doesn’t make it known if he’s awake when you can’t help but let out soft groans as you sit up for the first time in weeks.
Healing bruises and cuts score your arms and your ribs still ache. Instead of pressing for more morphine, your other hand tightens its grip on Katsuki’s, and in his sleep he squeezes back. A small smile starts to grow but quickly it fades away.
Grief still racks deep in your chest. A low moan slips out from deep in your lungs when you think too much about the accident and Tamaki, so you don’t think about it at all. You have to.
So you think about food instead. Fried dough, grilled meat, roasted vegetables doused in olive oil and salt, sweets that forces you to down a glass of water or milk. Your stomach growls.
You press your call button and it is a few moments before an older nurse walks in. He’s tall, with dark skin, cropped hair and kind eyes. You silently hold a finger to your lips and pointedly look at the sleeping man by your side. He nods in understanding.
“Have I missed breakfast?” You whisper.
“You missed dinner,” He whispers back with a quiet laugh. “I can sneak you some snacks. How are you feeling? An appetite is a good thing. We can remove the feeding tube then in a couple of weeks.”
“Feeding tube?”
“It’s been placed surgically in your belly. You’ve been out for a while, sweetie. Doctors asked to be reassigned after your last episode,” he smiles again. He’s just joking, you’re sure of it. He has a kind smile. “It’ll also make it harder for you to hit me.”
You don’t understand what he means, but looking at his face in the dim hospital room and you start to see the healing bruise on his jaw. It dawns on you that you did punch him, right around the first time you woke up. “Oh fuck, I’m so sorry!”
“No need,” he laughs and starts to check your vitals, the scratch of his pen soothing to your ears. “You give a mean left hook, good to know you’re one of Japan’s finest.” Not really , you think. You were a B level hero before that stepped down to be a sidekick to a high ranking hero.
Who is now, currently, dead.
“You’re lucky you’re not in psych,” he fiddles with some tubes near your belly button. “Some of the higher ranking surgeons fought for you, asking for some sympathy. Although, you are still on quirk restraints. Can’t win them all.”
You don’t respond, feeling a low weight of guilt building at your belly. “Can you get him a blanket, please?” you whisper.
“Sure thing,” the orderly nods as he checks the morphine drip. “We can try to give you some solid foods, but there’s soup and rice left, I can sneak in some orange slices if you’d like.”
“‘T’s fine,” you hear a low voice grumble beside you. “I’ll get ‘er something from the convenience store across the street.” Katsuki stretches, letting out a soft whine that you almost have to strain your ears to hear.
Your hand squeezes his tightly, and tears spring in your eyes when he squeezes back. “Hi.”
“Hi yourself,” he subtly brings you knuckles to his lips and you feel how soft they are. “I’ll be back, what do you wanna eat?”
“It’s fine you don’t have to leave-” He starts to get up again and you panic. You don’t want to be alone. Please don’t leave me alone.
“No, it’ll be better than this cold ass hospital shit.” Bakugou pointedly looks at the nurse and scowls.
Instead of being offended, he laughs. “High cholesterol and artificial sweeteners isn’t all that great either for her.”
Touché.
“Please,” you whisper to him. “Don’t go.”
You pleasingly stare into his eyes, already feeling yourself pitifully shaking at the mere thought of being alone again.
In the abyss, it was dark. Hot. No water. No food. No one. No one except for your dead fiancé underneath you and that fucking ambulance. In the abyss, you could barely walk to find help. You couldn’t even see, not even your own hand centimeters from your face. In the dark, you truly believed you might die too. And that Tamaki’s plan was all for nought. All for nothing. You’ve never been so afraid of being alone before.
He squeezes your hand three times, a promise.
-(-)-
Bakugou doesn’t allow you to eat the hospital food during your recovery, despite the glowing reviews from other patients who swing by on their walkers and wheelchairs. He cooks big batches of soup, plain and bland at first when you threw up that night you woke up. Katsuki rolls his eyes at you when you critique his skill, boldly telling you that you wouldn’t even be able to handle his best. Bakugou helps clean the vomit out of your hair as the nurses helped you clean up, though.
After a few days, your palate comes back and your stomach strengthens. You learn he’s an excellent cook, it’s a hobby of his when he’s not out on the streets fighting crime. You think about the frozen dinners and convenience store bento boxes you ate before, only cooking for Tamaki so he can be prepared for the day. You don’t remember the last time someone cooked for you.
Doctors, every day, tell you they need to operate. You’re stubborn, pretending you don’t feel the infection making you weaker and pretending that the morphine is enough to mask the white hot pain in your leg. You want them to make a plan, a better plan. You want them to do their fucking jobs.
Every time they leave, you’re angry. Angry they refuse to find the medical technology to save your leg. Angry that you are faced with this choice in the first place. Angry that Tamaki is dead and you have to be burdened with living. Angry. Angry. Angry.
“You keep scowling like that, your face is gonna get uglier.” Bakugou aggressively rubs the crease out from between your eyebrows with his thumb.
“Shut up,” you snap your head away from his touch, without any true malice towards him.
He knows this too, and laughs. “My ma used to tell me that all the time.”
“Yeah and you should’ve listened, it’s irreversible now.”
You’re not used to this side of Katsuki. The lighter part of him. You remember reading a book last summer where the main character said her best friend had two personas, the persona he showed everyone and his naked persona, the one only she saw. You suppose that calling this side of Katsuki the Naked Katsuki is awkward and too suggestive, but it’s true. He makes you smile right after bawling your eyes out. He makes you smile when you really don’t want to, teasing you when the corners of your scowl start to upturn.
You wonder where Naked Katsuki was during high school and why he had a stick up his ass for so long back then.
On the fourth day, you feel the weakest. You’re eating, you’ve even begun to drink coffee again. But the pain has gotten worse and you hear the charting nurses start to talk about your blood toxicity levels.
The doctors leave again, glancing at an unusually quiet Bakugou while you silently fume. Katsuki stays quiet, knowing better than to interrupt your oncoming rant.
“Why do you do that?” You look towards the man, scowling as he just sits there in that stupid fucking chair.
“What?” He asks, as if he doesn’t fucking know. Maybe he doesn’t, you really don’t give a shit though. You’re fucking pissed and you’re gonna let him know it.
“Not say anything,” you roll your eyes. “You know that they need my soulmate’s agreement, I’m the only one fighting for my leg! If you’re not on my side, you’re against me!” Your hands pound at the sides of your thighs and you muster up the energy to glare at him.
He takes in a deep sigh, “They’re right though. You’re not gonna make it through the night.” Katsuki looks at you plainly, and it’s written all over his face that he thinks you’re being ridiculous.
This only infuriates you more and you jerk your shoulder out from under his hand. “Don’t touch me, you’re wrong! They can heal me, they don’t want to-”
“And why do you think so, sweetheart? Because after they cut through all the necrotic bone and tissue to save that stupid leg, you think you’ll be able to stand on it? Let alone sleep with that kind of pain every night?”
“The fuck do you know?? I can take it, my leg can recover!”
“When did you get so insufferably egotistical to think that you know more than the medical professionals?” Bakugou replies sarcastically with a dry laugh. “You need to say yes. They’re just going to wait until you slip back into another fucking coma so they can cut the damned thing off anyway.”
“Not if you-”
“Not if I, what? Why do you think I should agree with you? Because you’re my soulmate? Bullshit, you’re being stupid.” Ouch.
“Me?? Stupid??”
“Yes!” He groans and gets out of the hospital chair he sleeps on at times, “What’s so goddamn awful about not having a leg? Hah?? What makes you think you’re too weak to recover from that?? What makes you think anyone is weaker for choosing amputation than living miserably for the rest of his life?!”
Silence falls between you both and you muster the courage to look at his arm again, the same compression sleeve that’s always there when he’s off duty. Every time you saw it, you felt something was off. It dawns on you slowly.
“I don’t think anyone is weak for choosing amputation,” you reply quietly.
He responds with a scoff, “Right.”
“When?” You ask softly, tears sprout again in your eyes.
“Can’t fucking believe you never noticed,” he scoffs. “It was after the War. During it actually. Near the final stretch, Shigaraki got me. That’s when I lost my arm.” No emotion in his voice, he’s moved on from this tragedy. It’s just a part of Katsuki now.
“But… your quirk…”
He sits on the edge of your bed, carefully not to pull on any of your tubes, “Right before it happened, I was able to make all of my sweat turn to nitroglycerin, not just from the palms of my hands. Fucking bad miracle, I guess.” He looks down at his hands now, thinking deeply about what had happened and where he is now. “I have a special team who made my prosthesis so I can keep working. Only a handful people know about this, Deku, old Aizawa, the idiots who make my suits, some other shitty people and now… you.”
“You hide it?”
“Management.” It’s enough of an explanation. You’ve seen how dirty and unfair the hero industry is. It breaks your heart to think of the seventeen year old kid who lost his arm and nearly had his career along with life ended. You remember hearing about his death proclamation when you were on the other side of the battlefield, and you remember the sweet relief you felt when you heard you hadn’t lost your shitty classmate after all. It’s a lot on a young man’s shoulder to have his entire world changed, for a society that tells him to not brandish his war wounds with pride.
You have more questions. More to ask him, more to know. But all of your words fall flat, they die on your tongue and you stay quiet. Shame is all you feel.
“Your… hero suit is pretty revealing though,” you finally muster up, grimacing at yourself when you hear the heart monitor beeping slightly faster. “How does no one notice?”
He smirks at you, “No more revealing than Shitty Hair. Or Goody Two Shoes, Yaoyorozu.” Bakugou slips off the compression sleeve and scooches in closer to show off his prosthetic. It’s life-like, down to the minute details that no one would bother to notice.
“So why the sleeve?” You ask, catching yourself still tracing the prosthetic before pulling yourself away. Thoughts of what your own might look if you go through with this surgery race through your mind, and only heightens your anxiety.
Bakugou is quiet, mulling over his answer. “The short answer is that it helps with the pain.”
“And the long answer?”
“The doctors fucked up my arm trying to give me a second chance, they were worried that my career might end and there was still a war to fight.”
“We were just kids though,” you whisper. You weren’t on the frontlines of the war, you were in with the third wave of heroes and students. You didn’t see what happened firsthand, but you saw the horrific aftermath. They did a good job keeping this intel a secret, you can only imagine what other horrifying injuries they kept hidden from you and the public.
“Yeah well, they nearly ended me while trying to save me. One of my surgeons finally kicked their asses and got them in line, saved what they could of my shoulder and my stump.” Before you can ask, he steps in closer and helps raise your hospital bed up so you can sit up straight. “I think his protégé is on your team now. Yours won’t look at fucked up as mine, but…”
Katuski removes the prosthetic with a click of a button you can’t see, which must be part of the seamless design from his support team. “The docs can tell you better, and more, but this is called the residual limb. Others call it a stump.” His fingers delicately show off what’s left of his arm as he opens up this new part of him to you. The scarring is an angry red, stained purple closed to the incision points. It looks painful. You tell him so.
“It ain’t always,” he admits. “It’s worse at night.”
“But the sleeve helps?” You ask. He gently takes hold of your wrist with his other hand, it’s heavy and dwarfing your own, and he holds you against him. His skin is warm, soft. You can almost feel his pain in your own arm.
“Sometimes. I don’t completely understand the tech. It’s all experimental.” He must be in pain all of the time.
“I’ll be in pain all the time then,” you say this quietly, but it sounds almost like a question. You can feel the aches he does, the sheer amount of pain that burns through muscles and skin he no longer has.
“I’ve felt your pain all my life,” he steps in closer and embraces you with his one arm. “Every night, I’ve felt it and I need you to know that as your friend, I will always help you with it. Tomorrow will be better.” As your friend. That’s enough to give you peace of mind. It’s enough to release that tension in your chest.
“And what if it isn’t?” You start to cry, wanting to wiggle your toes in a leg that won’t let you.
“Then tomorrow,” he kisses your temple. “We will say it again. And again. Until it is. Okay?”
“Okay,” you nod as the tears stream down your face. You hold onto each other tightly, silently bonding your promise as friends. You're going to lose your leg tonight.
-(-)-
The next two weeks, all you do is sleep. Sometimes Katsuki appears in your dreams, talking about his day and work. Mostly about work. You both find it hard to talk about anything else. When you’re not asleep, you stare out the window.
Not many people visit. Friends were really friends of Tamaki, and you are just a reminder that he is no longer here. Family doesn’t exist for you anymore, they haven’t for years. Tamaki was your family.
Workmates didn’t see you either, why should they? Your career in the past five years declined, if they associated with you so would their careers. All you had was Tamaki. So no, you didn’t see much except for your team of surgeons and your hospital assigned therapist that you really can’t stand because you apparently need to cry about shit now.
When you’re discharged, you weren’t expecting anyone, and yet when you saw that familiar shade of blonde awaiting you, the floodgates opened.
He takes you back to your apartment, dusty and cold from being empty for so long. You cried and cried. Katsuki, to your surprise, cried with you. It’s truly then, you understand the bond of a soulmate. Your pain is his, his pain is yours. Tears are shared, never are you truly alone. He stays with you that first night, sleeping on the floor of your living room while you sleep on the couch, refusing to be in the bed that you once shared with Tamaki.
It isn’t until you start to wake up screaming, dreaming about the ambulance crushing you, dreaming about Tamaki’s corpse laying cold underneath you, that you and Katsuki decide to sleep somewhere else.
He sets you up at Izuku Midoriya’s home, a lovely townhome smack dab in the middle of downtown. Midoriya is more than happy to help, insisting you take his bed. You think about how often he used to blush in high school, and how he didn’t even bat an eye when you mentioned you needed to be close to the bathroom at night or else you’ll piss his bed.
“All the more reason for you to take my room,” he kindly smiles at you. “The bathroom is right there.”
“Don’t argue, Bambi. It’s useless.” There’s bags under Katsuki’s eyes. He hasn’t slept much lately. Guilt settles in pretty quickly.
So you take the bed. Each night, you carefully balance your crutches against the mattress and take your opioids. The pain is all you can think about right now. And you hate that you’re so annoyed by this, but Bakugou insists on sleeping on an air mattress right at the foot of your bed. You hate how much you rely on others, you hate how much you need this, you hate that you’re angry. Angry. Angry. Angry.
He’s patient though. The man you see now, isn’t who you thought he was. Back in your school days, Katsuki was a firecracker who was set off at any small inconvenience. Now, all he does is roll his eyes if you snap at him. Sometimes he doesn’t even react, just patiently checks your bandaging and helps you stretch even when you really want to fucking sleep. He follows your surgeons’ instructions to a tee, memorizing the numbers to call if you have any concerns and memorizing your medicines and dosages when you need a prescription refill. The times that you do elicit a reaction from him are usually because he’s had a long day at work and taking care of a stubborn and bitter soulmate is just a little much for him that day. Which usually means you end up feeling guilty for being such a shitty person.
You learn a lot about Bakugou in the first six weeks after your amputation. You learn how he dealt with his phantom pain, how he learned how to ask for help, how he had to adjust to being a hero again. Another surprise was how often he called his ma and pa (and that he calls them that to their faces instead of “old man” and “ugly hag”), nearly every night if not every other night, the softness behind his gruff voice as he fights with parents over when he’s going to bring his soulmate over. You learn that he cooks a lot, and really well too, despite the bland soup he gave you initially. Deku, the up and coming number one hero, can barely handle boiling water without burning it, while Katsuki easily flies through the kitchen.
“You’re a natural,” you muse. He convinced you to eat downstairs, getting you used to moving around again.
If it were up to you, you’d probably wallow all day in Midoriya’s room and sleep. Or chain smoke shittt cigarettes in his bathroom, exhaling all of the smoke outside his small window. You’ve been caught doing that already when you nearly fell and caused a commotion. Izuku was madly apologizing with a deep blush at seeing you in a towel, even though it was clearly your fault. Katuski was not amused. You haven’t seen that damn pack of cigarettes since.
Concern furrows your brows and you bite the inside of your cheek. “How did… losing your arm affect your cooking?”
“I was shit at cutting vegetables,” he answers bluntly, smiling softly when you snort. “It took me a while to get back into it. A chef in my support group helped me out, giving me advice and all.”
“Support group? You actually did that?”
“I still do,” he feeds you another serving. The steam from the food warms your cheeks and makes your mouth water. No one, aside from your parents, has ever cooked for you.
“Why??”
He raises an eyebrow at you, “Really. You’re asking me why I, after a traumatic event in my life, attended a therapy group with individuals who went through something similar?”
Bakugou laughs when you tell him to shut the fuck up.
-(-)-
“Why did it take you guys so long to find us?” You ask on the day you get your first prosthetic leg.
Bakugou’s jaw tenses and you watch his hands squeeze his steering wheel. “There was a lot of noise, too much for Earjack. With all of the falling debris, unstable grounding, it was just… a perfect accident.” A bad miracle. “Once we lost Amajiki’s earpiece, there wasn’t any indication of your whereabouts.” You noticed this about Bakugou, the way his voice changes into something serious when work is brought up. A soldier.
You don’t remember them finding you. In your psych rotations for your final year of school, you heard about how the brain shuts down from trauma and can try to help the person heal by simply forgetting events occurred. This was corroborated by your therapist too, although you need to find a better once because she fucking sucks ass and agrees with Bakugou that you need to quit smoking.
You weren’t allowed to read the reports though, following the accident. It was a thick file, that’s all that Bakugou tells you. He doesn’t talk about that night he found you. One night you find Deku vulnerable and alone after a shift at work, sifting through paperwork that needed to be filed and faxed over the next morning. He was clearly uncomfortable with speaking on the matter too. Midoriya answers your questions though, telling you how hard it was on Bakugou. He never slept, he worked straight through. The only thing that gave him hope of your survival was that he didn’t feel your soul leaving.
“You can feel that?” You whispered. Izuku nods, not speaking more on that topic either.
“Kacchan… he never gave up. He was going to die finding you.” You’re glad he didn’t. But a significant part of you died down there. And you don’t know if you would ever get that back.
-(-)-
Bakugou takes a leave of absence after he files the soulmate forms, declaring officially and legally that you both are bonded. Of course this really isn’t true. Bonded soulmates requires sexual intercourse. And well… you both are just friends.
However to legally have you under his medical insurance, he lies for you. Your ID comes in the next week, a holographic heart next to the heart that says you’re an organ donor. Under another shadow, but instead of leaving you cold, you feel relief. Relief from the hot pain of being alone and defenseless. Relief that you can finally breathe.
He doesn’t say anything about the holographic heart next to his red one either, he doesn’t even talk to you directly when the mail comes in with your new IDs. You’re not sure if it’s embarrassment, pride, sadness, or just plain bitterness. You’re not really sure if you want to know. What you do know is that you’re grateful that he doesn’t make a big deal out of it, and cooks you a hearty pasta meal that night to celebrate your new insurance.
Six months after the amputation, you’ve been fitted with a prosthetic and you’re walking again. It used to be “walking”, managing only a few feet at a time without wobbling or needing your wheelchair again. But now you can walk. You can walk.
Some days are good. Some days are really good. Some days aren’t.
Your first fall, Bakugou stares while you laugh loudly at yourself. You forgot you didn’t have a leg, and put all your weight onto your left side as you turned the corner of the grocery aisle. It’s the first time you see him blush, and for a moment you think he’s embarrassed by the scene you’re making in the middle of this grocery store, until you realize it’s the first time you’ve laughed this loudly in months. He helps you back up again.
On your worst days, Bakugou lies with you in bed while you grieve. Grieve for your leg, grieve for your dead fiancé, grieve for your losses.
You become closer, it’s natural when he’s the one who takes you to your appointments with your prosthetist and talks about your scar tissue. It’s natural when he’s the one who coaxes you to sleep, rubbing your back with his lips pressed against your temple. You two become friends. It’s friends who bring you comfort when you feel sick, when you feel like the weight of the world is too much and you and they both know the best thing to do is just lay in bed and watch shitty movies all day. You become friends. You’re friends. Good ones at that.
When Bakugou finally goes back to work, leaving you alone, you realize how much you both talk. You text all day, updating him of the meaningless things you do. Shitty reality TV shows become a hobby of yours while you practice your core exercises, and despite Bakugou’s claims he doesn’t give a shit, he always listens to you when you talk about them. He comes for lunch every day, even when he’s across the city. Katsuki pretends to not watch your silly little shows while you eat his food.
He tells you that you need to listen to your therapist and get a real fucking hobby (his words not hers), and encourages you by sending you coffee shops and boba tea places to try. Bakugou starts with places nearby, a small ten minute walk for you at most. But as you gain more and more endurance, and the more you get used to walking on your prosthetic, the farther the recommendations go. Soon you find yourself going to the train stations again, sometimes you take a second to enjoy the parks you walk by. You can’t stand that he was right, and now you’re not napping as much anymore.
You find yourself at the tea shop where Bakugou took you from what seems like a million years ago, resting and trying to massage your leg from the walk there. Bakugou texted you cancelling to meet you there, there was an emergent situation at work and he was called to arrive on scene. This used to bother you, but now it just drives you to get back into work again. You miss it. You miss being useful. It’s here at the tea shop, reading the newspaper, that you see it. The apartment listing.
The very apartment you had shared and lived in with Tamaki, is back on the market now. It startles you to see it again, in the fucking newspaper too of all places, like it’s still the twentieth fucking century. You wonder if you keep staring at it, if you’ll cry or feel something . Instead you feel empty.
You’re not really sure what that means.
At your support groups and in therapy, you admit to thinking about Tamaki every day. All throughout the months, you talk about the nightmares you have surrounding his death. It haunts you, his ghost. You still smell his body wash sometimes, always in passing, always enough to leave you longing and never enough for you to fully remember his scent. Sometimes you swear he’s right next to you as you wake, softly snoring after a long shift. It makes you sad. That’s what you tell your therapist and your support group. In reality, you feel guilt. Guilt that you’re alive and he isn’t.
Guilty that you’re with your soulmate, like he wanted you to, but in a weird fucking platonic dance as you both struggle to maintain the facade of friendship.
“Have you been to see him?” Your therapist asks, watching you play with a squeeze toy.
“What do you mean?” His ashes are with his parents, you really don’t want to make that drive. They haven’t reached out to you since the accident. And to be honest, they really didn’t like you despite what Tamaki said. You really wish you could tell his ass that right now, you’d be so smug about it too and everything.
“Have you visited his grave?” She clarifies.
No, you haven’t. And you didn’t want to. Bakugou and you fought that night, not a serious fight but enough to make you mad and not talk to him for the rest of the night. He thinks you should go. You think you need to just move on.
It’s been almost a year anyway.
You can walk with a barely noticeable limp. He’s even helped you to train now to get back into hero work. Hero , you don’t want to be a fucking sidekick again. You’ve been working with a new support tech team and a specialist prosthetist for a leg to help you move with your quirk. The fact that you have now leveled up to having more than one prosthetic makes you proud. You’re done walking, now you can run. You don’t cry as much anymore, you don’t cringe walking down the streets of Musutafu anymore. You’ve even stopped reading the articles surrounding the sinkhole accident, knowing that obsessing over “what if’s” will not bring back Tamaki or your leg (at least, you stopped doing this in the middle of the night now. Sometimes you forget your silly little therapy tactics and dive back into the news reports and tabloids to read with your morning coffee).
You can feel yourself growing stronger.
You don’t need to do this.
It’s not gonna solve anything. He will still be dead…
“Why do you even care?” You ask him the next morning, annoyed that he’s ignoring you and didn’t make you breakfast like usual. You’ve been forced to eat a bowl of cereal like some common roommate.
“He was your fiancé,” Bakugou scoffs. “You couldn’t attend his funeral, you haven’t seen him since-”
“Since I killed him?” You angrily drop your spoon in your bowl and get up, not feeling that hungry anymore.
“Yeah, that’s exactly what I was going to say.” Katsuki rolls his eyes at you, knowing better than to follow you to your room to wallow.
You can’t visit his grave. And this makes you angry. You can’t, because it means having to be faced with the fact that you’re starting to feel something towards Katsuki. Living together has been doing that to you. It’s hard, hard to ignore the magnetic pull between you both and hard to pretend it doesn’t hurt you when he goes on dates like his friends suggest sometimes. On top of that, it’s watching him leave each morning and being so fucking scared that he might not come back. You don’t know how you can manage that. You don’t know if what you feel for Katsuki is love or something far deeper. Whatever it is or isn’t, if this is how you feel now , you cannot imagine the pain of losing him later. Shinju comes to mind, the little girl destined to be with Tamaki forever only to be ripped away from him. You’ve had dreams of losing your family and friends in horrible deaths, and you’ve woken up with absolute dread in your heart. But a soulmate’s death, you never quite understood the depth of. Not until now. And that thought scares the shit out of you.
The fight is never resolved, and you don’t visit Tamaki’s grave. Instead, you decide to find a new place to live on your own.

thinking about bakugo katsuki, who just wants to prove to you more than anything that he'd be an amazing boyfriend.
it begins with little things.
he tells you if there's something on your face, if there's something in between your teeth that hinders your beautiful smile. he tells you if your tie or uniform is out of place but can never hold back a 'be more careful, idiot' as he helps you fix the stray mistake. he looks away when you laugh at his preciseness. he stops your cup of water from falling over, puts his hands over any hazards that will hurt if you bump into them, all those kinds of small things.
he gives you all of his attention when you directly address him. whether it be a comment, a compliment, or a question, bakugo always gives you 100% of himself as long as you're direct with him.
even if you don't specifically speak to him, he always listens too.
you could be talking to mina about a movie you watched and bakugo will be listening, leaning back in his seat, not even looking in your direction yet his ears are ENGAGED, he's taking in every word you say. he even searches the movie up later.
not that he wants to watch it- bakugo has no time to waste on these things. he's saving it for when he can watch it with you.
he always watches your reactions first whenever in a group. whether it be in class and being told about some exciting projects - internships, camps, whatever, bakugo always keens to gauge how you respond. alternatively, it could be bakugo and kirishima's turn to make dinner (bakugo carries), and the second it is served bakugo's watching intently for your reaction.
(he only agreed to making dinner because kirishima bribed him. how? well, he mentioned your name and bakugo got straight to washing the vegetables.)
his little acts then evolve. he saves seats for you at lunch when you can't make it to the cafeteria in time or when he knows you're too busy that you won't make it in time to get a portion of your favourite lunch, so he buys it for you.
you always thank him for his kindness and begin to repay him but bakugo always rejects it, waving you off. 'don't do it again because i'm not doing this for you again', he mutters and you simply smile because you both know there is a next time.
he grabs your hero suitcase for you, going out of his way to do this for no one else but you. he accepts your pleads for help whenever there's something from the classwork you can't understand, smirking triumphantly at deku and momo - the top students of the class, who are confused at bakugo's sudden smugness.
eventually you get comfortable with him, to the point that physical touch is not a big deal anymore. the first time you take the risk was laying your forehead on his shoulder from fatigue and almost everyone around you gawks at the collected expression bakugo wears.
you had muttered a quick 'sorry' as you lifted your head up but the blond grunts in response, not sure how else to say that it's okay and you can lean on him any time.
denki then tries to do so and almost gets half his hair charred off.
it then evolves to the point that bakugo's known you long enough to have memorised your orders at fast food chains, cafes, boba shops, etc. and he often buys your favourite snacks whenever he visits the local 7/11, and when he delivers them, you give him the brightest smile he's ever seen and the explosive blond knows that the slow decrease in funds of his bank account is totally worth it if it means he gets to make you happy. he often masks his feelings with a 'tch' before storming off.
90% of bakugo's language is insults, but he is mindful to never throw them at you. he doesn't want you to doubt yourself for one second, whether it be your strength, smarts, beauty, etc, he's mindful to exempt you from his 'extras' phrase, because you're probably the only special one to him from everyone in the class.
and he knows you're special because one night, you take him outside the dorms and onto the balcony, asking him out on a date and he almost explodes himself into the air with joy. his cheeks fluster up- so uncharacteristic of him, and he tries to keep up a 'cool guy facade' whilst accepting your offer.
"get ready, cause i'm about to take you out on the date of your fuckin' life."
"wh- bakugo, i was the one who asked!"
"and i'm gonna be the best boyfriend ever, so leave this shit to me!"
thinking about bakugo, who is known to be hard-to-date, unapproachable, unlikeable unless he kept his mouth shut.
thinking about bakugo katsuki, who is absolutely 'the best' boyfriend ever because you have never doubted his love for you for a single second, and he makes sure you never will.

Your Hero
Part 15.
( Bakugou Katsuki X Y/N )
Tumblr media
Morning
When the alarm clock rings, you immediately wake up from your sleep. Get out of bed walk to the bathroom brush your teeth and take a shower. Have an important investigation mission today so need to be mentally prepared. Fortunately, you didn't stay up all night playing games when got home last night.
After changing into clean clothes, you walked to the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of milk from refrigerator to drink to satisfy your morning hunger. You pour the milk into the cup, then put two slices of bread into the toaster wait for them to be toasted.
While you're waiting, you grab a magazine flip through it to see what catches your eye. There happens to be a page about All Might. Never expect that All Might has been retired for many years but his contribution to society has been extremely influential.
Now that All Might has retired, the new era has been taken over by the Top 3 to maintain world peace, the same three who were taught by All Might during U.A. time. The one attracts the most attention is Dynamight, who named his Hero Name after the word Might from All Might.
"That's cool." You shake your legs.
When the doorbell rings, you put the magazine aside and walk to the entrance. Before you open the door, you see a man wearing a duckbill hat standing outside the entrance on the smart screen. You can tell who it is by looking at the hat.
You unlock the door let him in. As far as you know, all heroes disguise themselves in their private lives no matter where they go. Although the person who comes into your house is disguised, it is clearly him.
"Morning, hedgehog." You closed the door.
"Morning. Just woke up?" Katsuki kissed your cheek.
"Holy shit!" You were frightened by his kiss and took a few steps back.
"The hell you doing?" He groaned in displeasure.
"I was shocked by your kiss, suddenly." You smiled awkwardly.
"Suddenly?" He was confused.
"I never expected to date the famous Top Hero Dynamight. I thought yesterday was a dream." You glanced away.
He walked towards you and stretched out his hands to hug you. He rubbed his face against your shoulder, as if he was being coquettish. His head rested on your forehead and you looked at each other.
"It's not a dream, cutie." He stared at your lips.
This is not a dream. Yesterday he really confessed to you. You two faced each other honestly and started dating naturally. You conquered the famous No. 1 Hero Dynamight in love.
He is staring and waiting for you to respond to him. Now he does not feel impatient. He is longing for you in his heart and waiting for a loving response from you. He no longer treats you like his usual attitude, only you privileges that can only be enjoyed.
You closed your eyes he instantly understood your thoughts. He smiled and was about to kiss you, the two of you paused and looked towards the kitchen when a sudden "ding!" sounded. It was the sound of your bread being baked.
"Bread..." You pointed towards the kitchen, feeling sad at the sudden interruption.
He cupped your cheeks "Fuck the hell" he said and gave you a deep kiss.
Your hands around his neck and closed your eyes to enjoy the kiss you both longed for. His sweet lips kissed you without being rough or gentle. He was hot-tempered and domineering but always had a hint of preference and tenderness for you.
After both of you separated and looked at each other. He looked at you with a satisfied smirk on his face, as if he had achieved his goal. You couldn't help laughing because the famous Lord Dynamight had this side. It's so fresh.
"That stinky face is so bad." You pinched his cheek.
"Ha! I don't know who is longing for me?" he said with a smirk.
"I'll go have breakfast first, sit wherever you want." You smiled and walked away.
You went back to the kitchen and put the toasted bread on the plate. You were not good at cooking, so just wanted to make some toast and milk for breakfast. You sat down read a magazine while eating breakfast.
At this time, Katsuki was looking around in the living room and saw a photo of you and Lemillion hanging on the wall when you participated U.A. Sports Festival and won the Excellence Award.
By chance, he saw the most unpleasant photo, a photo of you and Hawks in the agency during your internship, and Hawks' hand was on your shoulder and he was so close to you.
"Hey, take away the photo of the dead eagle." Katsuki pointed at the photo indifferently.
"Why!" You feel confused.
"It's nothing, I'm just unhappy." He walked to the kitchen.
"Lord Dynamight, don't be jealous. Hawks is my first working friend and one of my best friends. I have to ask him for advice on many things." You took a bite of bread.
"Although he has been in the hero industry longer than me, your fucking boyfriend me also a professional and the fucking No.1 Hero!" He pointing at himself.
"I know, jealous hedgehog." You teased him playfully.
"Ha! A woman who can't learn well." He crossed his hands.
"It won't be interesting if I behave~" After you finished speaking, you took a sip of milk.
"Wait, you only eat bread and milk?" He pointed the bread in your hand.
"Yeah." You nodded.
He opened the refrigerator and checked the ingredients inside. The only things missing were eggs and bacon. The rest of the items had no trace of being touched. He scratched his head and glared at you with anger in his eyes.
Nervously, you used a magazine to cover his fierce eyes. You didn't know why he suddenly approached you angrily and glared at you, but you knew that things must not be simple.
"May I ask why you are so angry?" You asked cautiously.
"Why am I so angry? You didn't touch any of the fucking ingredients I prepared for you. You're malnourished if you only eat this little bit of food!" He kept nagging you.
"I can't cook..." You lowered your head in shame.
"Tch! The hell did you eat before... Wind Breaker, after all, you are an adult living alone and a Pro Hero. You should pay attention to your own health." He lectured you .
You knew he meant no harm, indeed he had a point. Now that you are living alone, it’s time to learn to cook instead of always eating fast food from outside. At least the food you cook yourself will provide with a balanced nutritional intake.
"Hey, did you listen to what I said! You might as well give up fast food and try to cook something for yourself once in a while." He tapped the table lightly.
"You think I don't want to! I'm not as good as you! Bastard Idiot Bakugou Katsuki!" You ran to the room angrily.
Leaving him alone in the kitchen, locked yourself in the room. You admitted that he was right and meant no harm. He just cared about you, but he didn't have to such nagging.
"Get angry at the slightest thing..." He crossed his hands impatiently.
Katsuki looked at the bread and milk on the table thought that eating this food would not fill your stomach at all. He couldn't bear to make you hungry, so he opened the refrigerator and choose some ingredients to make breakfast for you.
He put the ingredients on the table, picked up the kitchen knife and cut all evenly with fluent knife skills. He thought that since you were going to lose your temper, he should fill your stomach first and then let you have a good time.
While he was busy cooking, the phone in his pocket rang, indicating that it was the police chief Kenji calling. He immediately pressed the answer button and listened to it, he talking on the phone while cooking.
"Good morning, Dynamight. I'm sorry to disturb you so early in the morning. You requested that the investigation mission is ready. Police officers and other heroes have cordoned off the scene and monitored it." Kenji greeted.
"Ok, Wind Breaker and I will be there in an hour. Don't let anyone go in and touch anything before I arrive." Katsuki emphasized again and again.
"Understood, see you later." Kenji said and hung up the phone.
After hanging up the phone, he put back the phone in his pocket and continued cooking. His time was limited, so he could only make a simple breakfast for you to eat first.
In the room, you wonder why Katsuki didn't come to coax you. You wonder if he has gone back, so you open the door to find out. You smell a very fragrant smell and walk closer to find that he is cooking.
"Come and eat. Only when you are full and have the strength to continue to lose your temper." He picked up a piece of broccoli and motioned for you to come over.
"What are you doing?" You asked curiously.
"I'll make you breakfast, I don't want you to starve to death." He smiled.
"Hedgehog! I love you so much!" You hugged him.
"Sit down, I'll serve it later." He touched your head.
You sat on the chair swayed your legs looking forward to breakfast. At the same time, you admired the handsome appearance of No.1 Hero Dynamight cooking in person. Unknowingly, you had a perverted thought. If he were naked and put on an apron to match his muscles, he would be very fucking sexy and hot.
"Why are you smiling obscenely?" He put breakfast on the table.
"Nothing, I'm just thinking about something." You smiled.
"What are you thinking about? Tell me what makes my girlfriend smile obscenely." He said to you with a wicked smile on his face.
“Hmm, I was daydreaming about someday you being naked and wearing only an apron and cooking for me.” You said shyly.
"Wow, what a perverted fantasy. Do you want to see it?" He gently drew circles on the back of your hand with his fingers.
"A little bit." You felt that the atmosphere between the two of you was a little subtle.
He stood up walked next to you then looking at you with a smirk on his face. You looked confused didn't know what he wanted to do. You just stared straight into his face and remained silent, but your heart kept beating.
He reached out to touch your hair. When you were curious about what he wanted to do, he kissed your hair and pressed his face against your shoulder. You felt his hot breath, and he didn't giving you any chance to calm down, he opened his mouth and nibbled directly on your neck, licking it and kissing it passionately.
You could feel the warmth of his lips on your neck, as if he was going to eat you. You felt the situation was bad and subconsciously wanted to push him away. He immediately grabbed your hand to prevent you from escaping.
"Wait a minute, hedgehog..." you moaned quietly.
"I won't wait." He kissed and licked your neck a few more times.
"Hedgehog..ah" you moaned too excitedly.
"I told you many times to call me Katsuki when we are alone. You are such a bad girl, Y/N." He said with a smirk in your ear.
The famous Dynamight is a very handsome and strong in front of the public, but now he is your boyfriend who is teasing and tempting you in an erotic way. How good is he at flirting with girls, making you shy and exciting at the same time.
“Y/N.” He breathed hotly as he kissed your back earlobe this time.
"Eh?" You turned to look at him shyly.
You saw him licking his lips, showing a satisfied and evil smile on his face. Your heart beat faster and the hot temperature came from your body. When he did this, it simply ignited the enthusiasm and passion between the two of you.
"You're delicious." He squeezed your hand.
"Pervert..." You blushed.
"You obviously teased me first, how dare you to blame me." He blew hot breath beside your ear.
"Hedgehog! You!" You were about to yell at him but suddenly interrupted you.
He didn't give you any chance to speak, directly kissed your lips to shut you up. You two experienced a passionate and provocative time. He put his hands on your back caressed your body everywhere. You were enthusiastic responded to his kiss without hesitation.
After the two of you separated, you took a breath and calmed down. Your relationship has not reached a more intimate stage, but it almost gone too far. You don't hate him treating you like this, or maybe you actually want to go deeper.
You had no experience with that kind of thing, and you had a lot of uneasiness rising up inside you. You two are adults may have sex at any time. When the time comes, wonders if he will be willing to guide you.
You shake your head tell yourself not to think so far, not to increase your anxiety and conflicts with your own random thoughts. The most important thing is to enjoy the moment slowly develop a good relationship with him, and slowly move forward with him over time until the future.
Although you both Pro Heroes at different levels, as public figures you can only interact in a low-key manner. You can also show affection outside, but you still have to pretend to be more careful to avoid hurting each other.
"Eat quickly. It's getting cold." His sudden words brought you back to your senses.
"It's all your fault..." You pouted.
"Obviously you were the first..." He took the opportunity to eat your breakfast.
"So you're not interested in me?" You asked shyly.
"How could I not be interested in you? As a man, I have sexual reactions, including having erotic thoughts and sexual fantasies about my girlfriend. If you don't believe me, you can look down." He motioned you with his eyes to look down.
What he said made you curious about whether he would really interested to you, you took a quick look and saw that there was an obvious bulge between his thighs, which was a sign of erection that every boy would have.
"How is it? Are you satisfied?" He looked complacent.
"What the hell do you mean!" You were so shy quickly covered your face.
"Since you're curious I'll show you my reaction. That answers your question." He took your hands away to looked directly at you.
"How to solve "it" now?" You couldn't get rid of his hand.
"You haven't helped anyone solve it before?" He seemed to have discovered something.
You shook your head to show that you didn't.
"Wow...so you a virgin?" Seeing your innocent reaction, he tested you a little.
You nodded to indicate that he was right.
When he found out, he immediately let go of your hand and turned his back to you. Seeing him being so distant from you, you have doubts in your heart. Could it be that he didn't like inexperienced girls?
He is a mature man, it is understandable that he would like experienced mature women. You have had several relationships in the United States, but due to work reasons, you have maintained no sexual contact.
You clenched your fists wanted to speak but you didn't know how to express thoughts. It seemed wrong to ask him directly. If he didn't think that way, wouldn't it mean that you were making trouble and making him angry?
After thinking about it for a while, you decided not to wait for him. You should start the topic with him first. Although you felt a strong sense of uneasiness in your heart, but you didn't want to see him keep a cold or keep a distance with you.
"Hedgehog..." you called him softly.
When he heard your, he immediately stretched out his hand to stop you from getting closer to him. You glanced at his side noticed that his ears were red and his neck was sweating.
"I'm going to the toilet." He left a sentence.
He rushed to the toilet immediately, and you could hear the sound of the door closing. He must have been in a hurry. You couldn't figure out what to do. Maybe the two of you were about to break up.
A few minutes later, he came out of the toilet and pulled up a chair sat in front of you. He tapped his fingers on the table and shook his feet, as if he was thinking about how to speak. After a while, all unnecessary movements of hands and feet stopped.
"I will simply explain to you the methods I usually use to solve sexual reactions. The most direct way is release it through masturbation. If they have a sexual partner, just sex. In short, it will be solved after ejaculation. Ignore the sexual stimulation try to use some emotions to divert your attention and it will be fine. That's about it..." What you didn't expect was he explained the whole process to you peacefully and seriously.
"Oh oh oh... I generally understand..." You nodded slightly.
"That's it?!" He was surprised by your understanding reaction.
"Huh?!" You were startled.
"Your reaction is much calmer than expected... Could your head be broken?" He touched your forehead to worry about you.
"I'm fine, I'm just relieved." You said.
"Ha!? Why?" He leaned closer listened carefully.
"I thought you didn't like virgins or inexperienced and were going to break up with me..." You muttered.
"You are an idiot! How could I have such thoughts! How superficial do you think I am!" He flicked your forehead with his finger.
"Ouch!" You touch your forehead.
"Better give up on that idea or I'll blow you up!" He pointed at you.
"Got it!" You stuck your tongue out at him.
"Eat quickly, it's almost time to work." He smiled.
The uneasiness in your heart has dissipated and feel a lot more at ease. It's important to be able to open up to him and tell him what's on your mind. After being comforted by him, you feel much better, even if the breakfast has gone cold.
Suddenly remembering the way he talked about how to release and resolve an erection, you took a glance noticed that he no longer had an erection. What did your boyfriend just go to the toilet to do? This time it really aroused your curiosity.
"Can I ask a question?" You said in a serious tone.
"What?" He took a sip of water.
"What were you doing in the toilet just now?" You asked a very direct question.
He placed the cup on the table looked in the other direction silently. His actions made you suspect that he had done something good inside, you turned his face towards you.
"You shouldn't be masturbating in my toilet..." You glared at him.
"If so, do you want to see it?" He smiled evilly.
"Answer me!" You forced him to answer the question, making his eyes widen.
"I've been busy with work recently and I just released it after holding it in for a long time, but I did clean it up." He confessed that his behavior in the toilet shocked you.
You were speechless by what he said. It was the first time in your life your boyfriend masturbated at your house. You didn’t mind after all because he finally managed to release himself. Although you were a couple, you hadn’t reached the sexual level yet.
"I'm curious why you couldn't hold it in anymore?" You raised your hand asked.
"You really want to know?" He smiled crookedly.
You nodded in response, because it made you want to know why Katsuki couldn't hold back his sexual response and desire.
He whispers in your ear "Your moans and gasps are so tempting."
After he answered your question, he kissed your hair and breathed hot breath. You finally calmed down but he flirted with you again and again, your face suddenly felt so hot.
"Haha, sexy." He picked up the dishes and walked to the wash basin.
"Katsuki! You bastard!" You followed and slapped him on the back.
"I promise you one thing. After all, you are inexperienced. I will not force you to have sex with me until you are ready." He washed the dishes and put them aside.
"Katsuki...you are so kind to me, but you still have a bad temper." You added after you finished your kind words.
"That last sentence is unnecessary! Believe it or not, I'll fucking blow you up to death!" His mouth was full of complaints but his expression was smiling.
"Blow me up~ I'm not afraid of Katsuki~ I'm just afraid of Lord Dynamight~" You said with a smile.
"Screw you! You'd better be mentally prepared." He mentioned the investigation work that was waiting for you.
"Ready, Dynamight," You told him seriously.
"Good girl," He said and you both left to head off to the investigation mission.
Part 15 end.

Katsuki Is Only Soft For You
pairing: bf!bkg x gn!reader
a/n: bc ive been doing a lot of jjk content and i just can't seem to get enough of him even through all my writer's block 😩
cw: fluff, mild pda, possessive bkg, light thwap on the 🍑 but its barely sexual, katsuki is a meanie bc ofc he is
characters aged up +22
MDNI
---------------------------------------
He loves when you're needy, because then he gets to give you lovin while grumbling about it and hiding the fact that he loves how you feel pressed against his body. But when he wants attention, because man's can never just ask smh, he becomes purposefully annoying. And he's really good at it
I just know he likes pushing your buttons and getting you all mad 🙄
Katsuki is a cuddle bug. I know I've already said it but cuddling is usually his solution for small arguments when all that's left for him to do is apologize.
katsuki is not good at saying sorry but cuddles are the best way for him to show you.
If you're tense he's going to grumble at you like "what the hell is stressing you out." you might interpret it as him thinking you have nothing to be stressed about but he wants to know what it is so he can help you, either by giving advice or just rubbing your sore muscles and letting you vent.
He'll yell at your for getting sick, but do it as he's making you food "so you can get better faster." He'll have figured out what your favorite sick food is and make it for you until you're better. Will be extra soft on you because he's actually weak when it comes to you and he hates when you don't feel well.
Normally when you're on the couch together, he's sitting on the opposite side doing something on his phone. And it's not in a get away from me kind of way, it's just because he likes his space but that doesn't mean he doesn't like when you crawl over and lay against him or ask for kisses
He likes a little pda, though. If you both are at a friend's house and everyone's piled on the couch, he'll pull you into his lap. And he doesn't let you leave without pinching your hips when you pull away from him, or lightly tapping your ass (but it's all in good fun hehe)
His favorite part of the day is when you are both getting into bed and catching up on each other's day. Even if you don't spend a lot of time together (he is a pro hero after all) he loves that he gets to come home to hear what happened to you that day.
---------------------------------------
Tysm for reading!! Haven't been doing a lot of writing but I had this guy sitting in my drafts so I touched it up a bit so I wouldn't leave yall hanging too long 💕
