Jasico Bingo Challenge: injury
“I thought I was supposed to be the idiot who doesn’t know when to stop?” Nico snaps, dragging a heavily battered and bleeding Jason Grace through camp by the (likely broken) wrist. “You’re supposed to be the one telling me to knock it off, you’re supposed to be the one babysitting me, why would you make me be in your shoes, huh? Are you trying to teach me a lesson, Grace? Because fuck you, it’s working.”
Jason has the audacity to huff out laughter as if there isn’t a concerning amount of blood staining the back of his shirt. As if his temple isn’t swelling into a lime sized lump, as if his bones aren’t fractured under his skin, Nico can feel how displaced they are, he’s going to be sick about it later. Probably. Maybe.
“I hate you so much,” Nico says. This is what he gets for thinking Annabeth and Percy would be enough to keep an eye on Jason. What was he thinking? Leaving Jason in the hands of a woman who fell off two cliffs and a man who Nico had to shove in the River Styx so he wouldn’t get himself killed. Of fucking course neither of them thought Jason looking this bad was anything to worry about - they probably look worse.
Nico cannot think about that right now. He can only drag one stupid self-sacrificial hero across camp at a time.
“It’s really not that bad,” Jason says, still like he’s laughing, laughing, Nico’s going to shove ambrosia down his throat until he’s better and then kill him. “Nico, relax?”
A rageful heat Nico hasn’t felt in years sparks up his spine. Relax? Relax? “I’ll relax when you’re not bleeding out,” he says sharply, rounding the volleyball courts. The grass crunches beneath his feet. He can feel, far below, skeletons creaking, moving about in their graves. Responding to him.
He breathes deeply, but oxygen only fuels the fire.
“I’m sorry,” Jason says, this time like he almost means it. His wrist goes slack in Nico’s hold, as he finally stops resisting and instead lets Nico’s yank become a guiding line instead. “I’m sorry.”
The one thing Nico never did, when he was self destructing, was apologize for it. The fact that Jason feels the need to, with him, makes his rage boil over into a sick, sticky slop in his stomach.
“Apologize to me when you can promise you won’t do this again,” Nico says as he shoves open the Big House door.
Jason stays quiet all the way up to the infirmary.
As the Apollo kids flit around him on the cot, Nico looms, arms crossed, eyes narrowed to watch every movement, to make sure Jason doesn’t let them miss anything.

Manjiro Sano Headcannons
Tumblr media
⚠️ Disclaimer⚠️
This does not only contain cute headcannons. This also contains spicy contants. If you're not interested in that then stop reading once the 2nd warning pops up. This is also my own mind so I can't assure it's gonna add up but it's almost like another future that may exist or may not. So maybe some spoilers of the Tokyo Revengers manga will be here. If your not interested then stop reading by the 1st warning.
Clingy, very clingy
He often acts like a small child who you must take car of, more like a child you're babysitting.
You have to take care of him along with Draken.
Besides this he is still a very loving boyfriend
He always needs a kiss on the lips everytime he sees you because otherwise he will think you don't love him anymore.
He often goes to you place to bring food
✨ You guys eat lunch together ✨
You do often get annoyed of him because of how immature he is, but you still love him.
Tokyo Manji Y/N
He feels pressured to protect you a lot and you often have to remind him that you're not weak and one of the strongest in the gang.
You enjoy seeing your enemies underestimate Mikey because of how small he is, you love it because then you have sometime to tease him about afterwards.
Student Y/N
You often try to stay away from all the gang activity, but sometimes when you're on a date with him, he runs into people from another gang who know him and end up fighting him.
You always need to take care of his injuries and confront him about having another fight because he normally comes over after fighting to bring some food and eat.
Scenarios
Formation of a group (Childhood friend
Y/N)
You had been friends with Mikey for a very long time, practically almost since birth, you parents were close which caused you both to know each other for a while. You remember Mikey's enthusiastic face when talking about making the gang for the first time.
Y/N: A gang?
Mikey: Yes!
Y/N: Mikey, this is a stupid idea. Gangs are malicious! This will not work out, what if we get caught? Do you want people to fear you?
Mikey: Y/N, you've got it all wrong, I don't want people to fear us. What if we're different from all the other gangs? Instead of stealing and doing all the normal delinquent things, what if we fight to stop the other gangs?
Y/N: Is that even considered a gang?
Mikey: We basically will have everything you need to be considered a gang, power, fear, respect.
Y/N: Fine! But if we start being chased by police because of getting involved with illegal activity, turn yourself in.
Mikey: Okay, okay, I will.
Mikey eventually told the rest of the group of friends you guys had and they all agreed. Since then, the Tokyo Manji gang was created.
------------------------------------------------------------
Meeting Mikey for the first time (Highschool friends Y/N)
You knew Mikey. Not because you've met him or talked to him. But because of the amount of gossip there was about him.
1: "Have you heard of Mikey, he's the malicious leader of the Tokyo Manji gang?"
2: "Mikey recently got in a fight with a super bad gang, and he won. He must be a terrible person."
3: "Mikey is a super strong fighter, I bet he's worse then the other delinquents."
You heard of Mikey, but the only good thing you ever heard of him was how handsome he was. Nothing more.
From what you heard you didn't want to meet Mikey, what if you got yourself beat up? In plus you didn't want anything to do with delinquents, although it did partly bother you how kind Mitsuya was part of the same gang Mikey was. But besides it you didn't want anything to do with gangsters.
You were walking with you friend to your next class you were busy finding something on your phone and talking you didn't notice who was in front of you.
: Hey watch where your going!
You look up to see a tall man, blonde hair, tattoos. Oh no.
Y/N: I'm so sorry! I wasn't watching where I wa-
: Hey, It doesn't matter, don't worry about it.
You felt a hand touch your shoulder, you look over half expecting your friend but instead you saw someone else, much shorter then the other guy, long blonde hair and looked like a ordinary student, but no.
This was Mikey you were looking at, you knew from all the whispers you were hearing from the surrounding crowd of people. The other guy was Draken.
Mikey: Come'on Draken, there's no need to be mean, she was clearly distracted, you're normally nicer.
Draken bowed and apologized.
Draken: I know you were distracted, I apologize.
You were still in clear shock from who was in front of you, even after repeating you didn't want to interact with any delinquents.
Mikey: Hey, I hope you know your friend left a while ago you should catch up.
Y/N: Oh! Thank you...
Mikey let out a small soft smile and continued walking, as you ran to catch up you couldn't get him off your mind.
How could a delinquent be so kind?
Nicknames:
For you:
Dear
Bun
Cupcake
For him:
Tiny
Idiot
Can't think of many lol 😂
Marriage Headcannons:
⚠️Some spoilers ahead. Read at your own risk.
Obviously as Mikey reaches adulthood he becomes a pretty depressed person, but you're one of the few good things he has.
He really enjoys holding hands with you because of the warmth your hands have.
It's up to you but I think he would want at least one kid.
You often have to go to sleep while hugging him, if you don't he will have a lot of things on his mind throughout the night.
Doing the deed:
🔞 This is for readers at or above the age of 18. This is not meant for minors. Swear words are also included. Read at your own risk.
He was definitely the one who got turned on first.
He probably had a wet dream and decided to fuck you right then and there.
I can honestly see him as a huge sadomasochistic so have fun.
He doesn't really care if you're in the mood or not, if he wants to do things to you, he's gonna do things to you.
He's a aggressive type of dom.
He will end up hurting you, scratching you, or being a bit to harsh, at the moment he won't care but he won't stop apologizing afterwards.
"You look so pretty wearing nothing while being under me... you arouse me so much.."

How to accuse a work of "wish fulfillment" because it isn't about telling women they need to stay in the kitchen~
I'm going to delve deeper into this pathetic screed the loser head mod of /r/RWBYcritics wrote, because it's so very telling about the way RWBY "critics" view stories that don't blame women for everything~
Tumblr media
Let's see, just off the top of my head in instances where characters in Team RWBY were depicted as "wrong" in any way:
Ruby overburdening herself as "the leader".
Weiss not understanding her brother is the result of the same upbringing she went through.
Blake being a member of an extremist group, then abandoning her friends after the fall of Beacon.
Yang's overreliance on letting loose with her Semblance.
Just a few examples, off the top of my head, because the protagonists of this show have a thing called "character development". It's this funny thing where, when a character of a story has flaws, they often work to address or grow out of these flaws. So it's not that RWBY has never depicted Team RWBY as being wrong, it's that RWBY doesn't always depict Team RWBY as being wrong that pisses off this loser.
Tumblr media
So it's "wish fulfillment" to have a story where...characters suffer defeat and tragedy, but rather than wallowing in their loss and suffering, they rally themselves and return to the fray, determined to fight for those they love?
I can see that sort of thing being a form of "wish fulfillment" for people who've experienced trauma and depression, in that stories that tell such people that Things Get Better can be invaluable to them. All the more so when these stories feature characters that those people can identify more closely with, perhaps because of gender or sexuality. But I can see the idea of disparagingly referring to such as "wish fulfillment" for the sort of people who don't believe anyone but strong and confident white men can handle such a burden.
Tumblr media
Was Ruby told that she was "perfect"? Nope, the specific word was "enough". Ruby felt like she couldn't live up to the burden of leading the fight against Salem, only to be reassured that it would be as much a burden on anyone else's shoulders. This is an interesting thing, because our angry white guy writing this conflates a story saying a woman isn't a complete loser responsible for everything bad that happens with claiming the story is declaring her to be "perfect".
Tumblr media
Remember, kids: men are the only ones allowed to protect the ones they care about. Ruby tries to help her uncle fight off a psychotic assassin, unaware of the Semblance he never told her about? What a selfish fucking bitch amirite!
Tumblr media
Ah yes, the selfish desire of "not standing around and letting the Grimm be lured to Argus". Why didn't she just fucking walk to Atlas, huh? Or send her friend back to her abusive father? What a selfish fucking bitch amirite!
Tumblr media
This is 100% the sort of thing that comes out of the mouth of the kind of man who takes a woman out to an expensive restaurant on a first date, then screams abuse at her because she won't have sex with him afterwards. The attitude of "this man gives her things, how fucking dare this woman not unconditionally obey him in every fucking way".
Tumblr media
Again: What a fucking selfish bitch Ruby was to try to help her uncle fight off a psychopathic murderer, huh?
Tumblr media
"Why isn't this selfish bitch being punished for being a bitch?"
Tumblr media
Yep, the wish fulfillment of "sometimes doing the right thing pays off". I can see how you'd resent this when you're a drooling stan of the authoritarian who decided to leave thousands of people to die at the drop of a hat, because he wanted to be The Hero and only he was allowed to be The Hero because he was a Manly Man Who Mans.
Tumblr media
Get out the Anti-Strawman Spray, Batman!
Tumblr media
Yep, because we saw that Ruby's plan ultimately did unite the people of Remnant in Vacuo, that means there was literally no panic whatsoever following the announcement! That's how logic works!
Tumblr media
The "end point" was Ironwood's original plan before he threw it out the window, because there wasn't really anything wrong with Ironwood's original plan. Get the folks in Mantle to Atlas, evacuate with Atlas. That Ruby and her teammates were forced to work in secret, infiltrate Atlas command, and then seek medical attention for their critically-wounded friend as a result of Ironwood going Full Fascism is obviously all her fault. Bitch bitch bitch etc.
Tumblr media
Man, I can think of nothing more despair-inducing than the idea that the Man in Charge doesn't have the one and only possible solution to any problem!
Tumblr media
Hope is leaving thousands of people to fucking die, because the white man who wrote this does not identify or sympathize with anyone in Mantle.
Tumblr media
Hope is the Man In Charge doing whatever he fucking wants and stupid bitches like Ruby falling in line and accepting their place.
Tumblr media
Hope is adamantly clinging to a male authority figure, despite the glaring logical flaws with his plans and the glaring moral flaws he exhibits with every passing second.
Tumblr media
But if it's a woman who keeps fighting for the right thing, she's a selfish bitch.
Tumblr media
You notice how this screed somehow juggles between "Team RWBY are depicted as if they can do no wrong and always succeed in everything" and "Team RWBY ruins everything and makes everything worse for everyone"? It's a common tactic of fascists, actually; the enemy is both strong and weak at the same time. But why would the white man who idolizes a male military authoritarian and vilifies women, the poor, and minorities utilize fascist rhetorical devices?
Tumblr media
The best part about "critics" like this is that RWBY is a story that introduced a plot device and exposited specific limitations to its power in the story, and none of these idiots can wrap their heads around a single part of that.
Tumblr media
"When Salem does not do things the Staff has never been claimed to be able to do, that will just be wish fulfillment."
Well, anyway, here's me calling you stupid (and a drooling sexist pig) (and a racist fucko) (and a fascism stan)~

Alright, final thoughts on Brisingr.
You know what half the book was dwarven politics but I ate that shit up.
The more I read these again the more I appreciate the nuance of Eragon's character. It's super rare for me to like a main protagonist as much as I like him, but he has so many things going on. He's heroic, but in a deeply existentialist way, which leads him to be a bit cruel/callous towards his brother. He is smart and a quick learner, both academically and on his feet, but he does and thinks some of the stupidest things sometimes. He was forced to grow up so fast, so while he often comes across as mature and self-assured, internally he is still just a kid, or perhaps a very, very young man, and that kid part of him still shines through sometimes. He does and will do what he has to do to help the world, but he is constantly surprised to find new avenues of guilt when confronted with various consequences of his actions, but he still presses on. He is still learning his place in life not only as a dragon rider and a hero, but just as a person in general, and I think that's so cool and interesting to read! And he's also dealing with the trauma of the everything that's happening to him, but doesn't quite yet seem to realize that he isn't alone in his feelings. He is a dork, and I love him, and I want to be his friend, and I want him to accrue a whole squad of older sibling figures to help him through his stuff.
Along the lines of trauma, I hope he and Roran get to talk about this stuff. They both have moments of berating themselves over being weak for having strong feelings about killing and participating in a war, and I wish they would talk to each other and realize they were not alone. ... Murtagh too but that's just wishful thinking. I'll just have to write that myself I suppose.
Saphira is also so good queen of my heart and my soul she is beauty she is grace if she were a human she would rip apart a rat with her bare hands and teeth and do a kegstand immediately afterwards with the blood still dripping down her face but her makeup would be FLAWLESS while she did it ❤️
This felt like the first book that really drove the point home of how close the two of them are, because this is the first time they had to be truly separated from each other. Every time they reunited and they were just so filled with joy and love I just 🥺
As always- Murtagh deserves better!!! He and Thorn!!! He is in this position because he was too compassionate for Eragon (being led to the Varden), and then Thorn (swearing fealty to save him), and no one really cares about him but he still hopes and he still loves!!! Obviously, like, being on opposite sides of the conflict no one is going to not try to kill him, they kind of don't have a choice, but... Damn. I won't say too much more about him until after Inheritance but like. Damn. Justice for my husband.
On that note, the absolute betrayal he must have felt upon finding out that Oromis and Glaedr existed. Granted, by him becoming a dragon rider it was already too late for them to help him, but still. It's just kind of a tragic circumstance that everyone was so powerless in this situation, and like... Being literally possessed by Galbatorix for a bit there was. Hmm. Bad. I'm sure we'll be dissecting THAT in the new book.
It makes me wonder how much of this situation could have been prevented if the elves and the dwarves weren't so consistently self-serving. I think that's what makes Nasuada such an effective leader in comparison to them. She will get shit done, and she will set aside pride whenever she needs to to achieve the best results. Now, she has her flaws, which I know are explored more in Inheritance, but I can understand her constant frustration with the other kingdoms refusal to help or share important secrets that could have helped them sooner/prevented bloodshed.
And as far as secrets go... I don't know. It's hard to gauge "should have" or "shouldn't have" with most of the things Oromis and Glaedr neglected to tell Eragon and Saphira (or anyone), but the eldunarí feels like the most cut and dry. I guess they weren't anticipating Thron hatching but like. If that's the source of Galbatorix's power... It might have been useful for literally anyone to know about that before now. Arya didn't even know, for god's sake.
Speaking of Arya, I like her way way more this read through!!! And I do not ship her and Eragon literally at all sorry I'm a hater ❤️
RIP Oromis though sucks that you died.
Onto Inheritance!

Not to drag this out even further, but in that previous post, you make the argument that it's clear what Gennon does is rape because of Griffith's reaction afterwards. Couldn't you then make that same argument about Casca's reaction to what Griffith does in the wagon? After she leaves the wagon, when she's alone she's crying and her heart's pounding. She seems way more upset than before, and that's the only thing that's changed.
No worries, I don't mind discussing this!
previous post
But the thing is, that's not her only reaction or the only change - she puts a comforting hand on his back first (after, I just noticed while c/ping these images lol, nearly shoving him off and then hesitating when she looks at his expression, and maybe notices him shaking):
Tumblr media Tumblr media
then afterwards she tells Guts she needs to stay with Griffith, which are both actions I wouldn't expect a near rape victim to take, at least not without further emotional clarification. Within that context, the scene with her crying beside the wagon is presumably in part because she's decided that Griffith needs her and that means she has to leave Guts to stay and take care of him, and she's upset about it because she was finally moving on from Griff and wanted to go traveling with Guts.
It's also a very similar reaction to her heart pounding when they find him in the torture chamber, incidentally, and imo meant to parallel that moment. Both moments are Casca being confronted with the reality that Griffith is no longer the strong leader she once relied on and looked up to.
This is one big reason why I interpret Griffith making a move on Casca in the wagon as a desperate offer, something he can give her that she presumably might want in exchange for being provided for. Coming right after Wyald's rundown of how he'll die on his own, fitting in with a pattern of Griffith exchanging sex for things he needs, and leading to Casca essentially taking him up on that offer when she decides to stay (though of course from Casca's perspective it's probably because she pities Griffith and recognizes how much he needs someone, rather than because she's agreeing to take care of him in exchange for sex.) It also leads into Griffith's nightmare vision of the future where that's presumably the arrangement he envisions them having, including a son named after their mutual not-quite-ex lol.
So yeah basically I think in the greater context of the rest of of the scene it just doesn't make sense to interpret Casca's little breakdown as a result of feeling violated.

One of some sort of headcanon (fun, angsty, sad, hilarious, whatever you feel like) for each of the boys in the Chain? Please and only if you want to?
Ok, here we go!
Time never, not once, not for a second offered to be the leader of the group. He just started making decisions and everyone was like he looks and acts ancient so he must know what he's talking about. Spoiler alert, he really doesn't half the time, but he's learned not to show it. He also spent like a solid week just making decisions and doing things because he's used to just being on his own and getting the job done, and it isn't until Warriors pipes in with a "with all due respect, why don't we XYZ" that Time realizes oh no I became the leader when did that happen
Warriors, phew, I've shared a lot of Wars headcanons, so I'll just stick to that for now.
Twilight has a southern accent, y'all. But he learned during his solo adventure to mask it because people judge his intellect based on his manner of speaking, and he needed to be taken seriously. Now no one even knows he has one unless he's under a lot of stress, physical or emotional.
Hyrule is sweet and bashful, but if he senses danger he doesn’t hesitate. Whether someone is friend or foe, the moment they become a threat he will take them down. He might feel bad about it afterward if it was a friend, but in the moment… *insert the “I won’t hesitate” vine*
Four is the most enthusiastic storyteller of the group and he really wants to be able to talk about his adventure but doesn't want to outright say it.
Sky pipes up when needed and kind of stays to the periphery the rest of the time. He's the quiet and strong and supportive glue of the group. He's ok with that 90% of the time, but sometimes he feels invisible and lonely.
Wild is paranoid about keeping his brothers safe. He'll do literally anything to make sure they're okay, which includes getting his head bashed to protect Wind or disobeying orders to try and kill the Shadow. He wants nothing more than to protect them, and that imbues his behavior around them when they're sick or hurt too. Wild will always try to take care of his brothers in the best ways he knows how, by fighting or cooking or helping them accomplish a task.
Wind wants to prove himself but he isn't overzealous about it. Like he'll get miffy if he feels like he's being babied, but beyond that he just does his thing and lets himself shine like the star that he is. And he isn't too proud to accept advice or tips. He absolutely looks up to all of them, but especially Time and Warriors.
Legend honestly loves the heck out of adventuring and traveling, he keeps all his maps in his bag and marks where he should go next. He can't sit still for any given period of time. But he also plans the heck out of his trips; he isn't going in blind. He isn't used to traveling with others, but he's really growing to enjoy having travel companions, even if he does butt heads with a few of them sometimes.

3 left! I hope you’re not overwhelmed so far.
Both I’ll send will be TMNT 2012
First:
Leonardo concept
Leo!
Yandere! 2012 Leonardo Concept
Pairing: Romantic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Yandere behavior, Stalking, Obsession, Possessive behavior, Paranoia, Manipulation, Forced relationship, Overprotective behavior, Implied violence/twisted thoughts, Kidnapping (?), Slight delusional behavior.
Tumblr media
- Leonardo seems like an individual who has things down.
- He's one of the oldest of his brothers and the leader of their ninja team
- He seems like he could do no wrong, until he finds someone he adores.
- Then he starts thinking less of his mission... and more on you.
- You quickly become a weakness that even he has trouble conquering.
- However, as long as he has you, would it really be that bad to give in?
- "I need to do my best to keep you safe, it's what a hero should do...."
- Leonardo, at least in the 2012 variation, is Obsessive, Observing, Delusional, Possessive, Overprotective, Controlling, Manipulative, and Calculating.
- Leonardo is another Yandere who feels the relationship between you two has to be perfect.
- He's got to know everything about you so he can be the ideal boyfriend for you, a trait he shares with Donnie.
- A lot of the turtles resort to stalking so it's no surprise Leo also partakes in this.
- He's a paranoid Yandere, wanting to be sure you're safe.
- You need a strong ninja to protect you... luckily (unluckily) he's up for the job.
- Your safety in these streets is something he's obsessive over, if you know him or not.
- If you've already met the turtle, he's adamant on having you stay in the sewer with him and his brothers.
- He cares for you!
- You'll listen to the loyal leader, he's sure of it.
- "I promise the sewer is much safer than up there! You've got me to care for you. It'll just be until I know it's safe...."
- Like Donnie also, Leo is a little delusional (not to the degree of the tech turtle, however).
- He thinks you share mutual feelings towards him somewhat.
- Even thinking you're utterly terrified without him there to comfort you, which in reality is not the case.
- If you told him such he brushes it off, saying you can drop the brave act now that he's here.
- Leonardo actually shares a trait with Raphael as a Yandere, possessive.
- Like most protective Yanderes, Leo's possessive behavior mixes with his protective behavior.
- Even when he manages to get you in the sewers (one way or another), saying he and his brothers will protect you, he doesn't entirely like them around you.
- He prefers to take you to his room where you two can talk or just watch something.
- Then you won't have to deal with Mikey's clowning around, Donnie's rogue experiments, or Raph's anger.
- You can just be with him....
- He loves it when you two are alone....
- "I... just don't want you annoyed by them- Let's just watch something together, okay?"
- Once Leo's managed to lure you this far, his controlling and manipulative behavior really starts digging in.
- He doesn't want you stepping out of the sewer, or past his room actually.
- You aren't allowed to listen to his brothers, even if they try to warn you about him.
- You only go where he is.
- He sets up extreme rules to try and keep you close to him.
- Leonardo is very disciplinary with you.
- To the point he's hesitant to continue his duties, like training, without you in his sight.
- He'd probably be one to guilt trip and scare you into staying by him if he has to.
- Who know you could corrupt such a noble leader?
- "Today's a training day. Can I trust you to stay in my room until we're done? I'll come get you afterwards, okay?"
- Leonardo is a Yandere who is sure to plan every escape route out.
- Every entrance, exit, tunnel, etc.
- It's all taken into account when Leo wants to stop you from escaping.
- What started out as a minor crush and paranoia, quickly became an all-consuming obsession.
- One that wears down Leo until he realizes just what's wrong in his twisted mind...
- He needs you...
- He only needs you...
- He'd do anything to keep you in his arms.
- If one of his brothers tried to intervene, he may even turn his blades on them.
- He'd rather die or become an outcast than go long without you.
- All so he can keep you beside him, safe and sound.
- "You have no idea what you do to me... I need to keep you with me!"

Ramble Incoming!⚠️
I'm usually not one to talk much about fandoms or franchises. I'm not even in all that many. Because, to me, they're too much like politics in regards to drama. (Yes, I said it). And I don't feel the need to deal with that. The most I find myself doing in fandoms is showing off my art, and swiftly going back to my corner.
But, I'mma open the can of worms that are my educated opinions. Thus, I might step on some toes. Just… don't take anything personally. Hahah, I'm not out to start beef with anyone. I'm just doing this for fun and to see what others think. I'm 100% up to having some friendly debates! So, feel free to Ask me if you want. :)
Today, Transformers is going to be my victim: I've been watching this fandom for a while… And boy, is it funny to watch y'all chase your own tails. Especially in regards to how y'all treat new content. (All fandoms with continuities do this, not just us).
People always complain that the new show/movie isn't good because and-I-quote. "It's not loyal to the original!"
Of course, creators can't copy-paste the old stuff. With new people, things will change. And that's okay.
Yes, some things—such as the themes and characters' cores, extra—should stay similar. Y'all forget that the new stuff is basically just professional fanfiction that's at this rate. *cough* And that G1 was a slapstick comedy, but I digress. But, give it 10 years, people like the older stuff that… for lack of a better term, everyone hated. It's suddenly much better compared to the new releases.
With that said, I can't really give my opinions on All Spark or Rise Of The Beasts. I haven't seen them yet. So I don’t feel very comfortable talking about them without context.
But what I can give my opinions on are the characters. Specifically how the fandom treats them.
I'm going to use Optimus Prime (the strong one) and Bumblebee (the golden child) as my main examples here.
Starting with the one and only leader of the Autobots:
One of the most common things I see people comment on is. "Optimus is too [insert reason]!" Then go on some tangent. (Which is normally valid, no hate). And the most common statement is that he's 'too' violent… but let me break it to ya… he's not. He deserves to be darker.
Now, hear me out!
This trend started with Bayverse, which yes, I'm not saying those movies are perfect or the best out there. A better part of the writing sucked! (I don't blame them for it, writers kept and still are going on strike). But… they're not as bad as most fans painted them to be. So let me play the Devil's advocate here, please.
The Optimus in the blockbuster films was brutal, yes. But that's not all he was.
Out of all the Primes in most of the movies and shows (I'm not including the IDW comics, I haven't read them yet), he is the most traumatized. Don't believe me? Just think about it.
He not only had what reality he knew torn out from underneath him once, but twi—wait no… three times! Once with the fall of Cybertron (his home), second with Sentinel's betrayal (his father figure), and third with humanity (a race he swore to protect). He has had it rough! Geez…
Not only did he already have very poor coping skills from the beginning. And what support system he did have ended up getting killed, for gosh sake. And now all he has left is Bumblebee and… a load of jerks. I would talk more about this but, Transformers and support systems are a completely different ramble for another time.
No wonder he's mad! I would be too.
Optimus is very obviously grasping at straws here. Yet he still tries his best with the resources he's given. Guys… he tried to give Cade relatable reassurance about his parenting struggles! And that was after humanity started to hunt him down and all the nonsense that ensued afterward.
Another thing that is implied in the movies—that much like Bumblebee—he was a CHILD SOLDIER. (Most of them were if you look at it). He obviously started fighting quite young. So it makes sense, that first and foremost as a soldier he would learn the best and fastest ways to defeat his enemies. Regardless of whether it was seen as brutal or dirty. He would get versed in those techniques after thousands of years of fighting. He gets the job done, that's all that matters.
Y'all also forget that most of the time his opponents were three-plus heads taller than him… ya do what ya gotta keep your loved ones safe, folks.
I love the fact that he has character flaws.
But, he's the strong one, the example child. So the fandom has hung a special set of standards that he must uphold.
Which brings me to Bumblebee, the golden child. Y'all complain to High Heaven about Bayverse. But the Bumblebee movie? Not a peep.
Do NOT get me wrong folks. I adore the Bumblebee movie (and Bee as a character) as much as anyone! But, y'all completely overlooked the fact that… It has some of the most brutal fights in the franchise. Are y'all going to really ignore the fact that Bee shredded Dropkick with a chain? That is on par with how Bayverse Starscream died. Which was just a slower version of Dropkick's death. Speaking of whom, Optimus didn't kill him. N.E.S.T did. And it's by far the most violent death in the blockbuster films. Along with poor Ravage (R.I.P) who… surprise, surprise! Bumblebee killed. Almost no one talks about that…
*Thinks for a moment* Jazz too. Megatron killed him. And no one really commented on how brutal that was either, because it was expected. It's Megatron, he's been shown to be brutal for ages. Ol’ Bucket Head is also very violent in the blockbuster films, big whoop. What am I getting at here? So it makes sense that Prime and everyone else has to keep up with him. I'm afraid G1's 'carefree' passive Optimus wasn't very realistic when you look at the facts of things…
If people are going to talk about how out of character Optimus taking a Decepticon head off is. What about Ironhide? Hound? Bumblebee? He's ripped bots spines out! That is definitely out of character for the OG Bee. Please, keep them all to the same realistic standards!
Which brings me to my next point.
Things tend to be heavily rooted in bias. And with continuities like Transformers, that bias is nostalgia. None of the shows, movies, or comics are going to be perfect, or ever have been perfect. Not only is the notion of perfection impossible but… It's HASBRO. Why do you expect so much from them? They can’t keep jack-squat consistent for anything they own. We all know they have a nasty habit of dropping the coolest lore and never talking about it again… this franchise deserves so much better. It deserves to be shown exactly as it is; a story about a civil war. *sigh* Such a shame.
Anywho… I should probably stop talking now. XD, This is three Google Docs pages long. So apologies! I hope my thoughts (if you made it this far) were interesting at least. I don't know if I made the best of points but, oh well…
Till we meet again, Shalom,

Characters: M'baku, Imaya/ima(ee-mah), y/n, jamilah
Trigger warnings⚠️:fighting(battling), mentions of poisoning someone, d€ath, fluff, etc.
*excuse any errors I didn't proofread*
Song to listen to while reading👇🏾
𝑌/𝑛 𝑝𝑜𝑣🤍✨:
I was sleeping peacefully when suddenly I heard a knock on my door. *who could that be at the door this early * I thought. I forced myself to get up and go check. I opened the door to be met with a sleepy M'baku. "Hey y/n mind if I sleep here?" He asked. "Sure I don't mind" I replied handing him some pillows and blankets incase he needed them. "But I must ask. What is the leader of Jabariland doing sleeping in my chambers at 6:00 in the morning" I teased. Mbaku has never ever asked to sleep in my room so that can only mean one of two things. 1. He watched a scary movie with N'yame(nuh-yah-mey)again and got scared or 2. The builders are upgrading his chambers to something bigger. "Oh um they're just working on my room so I had to come in here." Mbaku replied looking off to the side. "No they aren't. Mbaku we've been friends since age 8 I know when you are lying" I said. "Alright you caught me y/n. Me and N'yame watched a scary movie last night and I couldn't think straight." He admitted. *i knew it* I thought as I immediately busted into laughter. "You're one of the most powerful leaders I know yet you're scared of a little doll" I said. "Enough enough" he replied laughing at my statement. I led him to my room and we both cuddled in the bed together. Me and Mbaku always have had a really tight bond and we did almost everything together so it didn't feel weird cuddling each other. I snuggled into his chest and drifted off to sleep.
𝑀𝑏𝑎𝑘𝑢 𝑝𝑜𝑣🤎:
As me and y/n cuddled each other I took a moment to look at her closely. She's changed a lot from when we were younger. She had a round face with e/c(eye color) eyes, nice plump lips, and her skin glowed as bright as the sun. Y/n also had a million-dollar smile that was so beautiful. I've always had feelings for y/n. Strong feelings. I wanted to be with her so bad but I know how relationships have effected her in the past and I'm not sure if she wants that right now. I let my thoughts drift off and slowly fade away as I went to sleep.
*timeskip 2 hours*
It was now 8:00am and new guard Imaya had brought our breakfast. Y/n and I both had pancakes, French toast, and bacon with some fruit. Afterwards, me and y/n both went to practice training. Y/n was working towards becoming a Jabari warrior and what better person to train her than me her bestfriend?
"Remember what we practiced last time?" I asked her. "Yeah. It was the tornado move right?" She asked for reassurance. I nodded in response and got into my stance. The tornado move is one of the most brutal and hard moves to do. The spear mimics the movements of a helicopter blade and impacts damage to your opponent at the same time with the sharp blades.
𝑌/𝑛 𝑝𝑜𝑣🤍✨:
*timeskip 1 hr*
I got into my stance and prepared to attempt the helicopter move. My feet danced swiftly across the floor as I made my way to mbaku twirling the spear in my hand with my left hand. I moved the spear into my right hand while twirling it but, as I got ready to aim at mbaku i lost control of the spear and it fell to the ground. A sigh of frustration came from my lips and Mbaku gave me a knowing look.
"I know it's hard but you must keep trying. The warrior is already inside of you, you just have to channel it" he said to me. I nodded and rose fo my feet. "Channel my inner warrior, eh? Watch this" I said as I playfully attacked him. Both of us moved swiftly through the room as we sparred with each other when suddenly, I began to lose my balance. Mbaku noticed and quickly grabbed my waist to keep me from falling. I was now turned facing him as he stared in my eyes. "Hellooo earth to M'baku" I said as I waved my hand across his face. "Yes y/n? My apologies I was daydreaming" he replied. "You're good" I said chuckling. "Are you ready to go back now?" Mbaku asked. "Yes let's go" I replied as we turned to walk back near our chambers
Imaya pov🖤:
I watched as y/n and Mbaku walked back to their chambers. *why does he like her so much? Why can't that be me?* I thought. "Why does mbaku favor y/n so much?" I asked jamilah(jah-mill-uh). "The two are just bestfriends" she replied not paying attention. "They don't seem like it. Have you seen the way he touches her and how he treats her in general? Hanuman forbid that anything happen to y/n and he'd go crazy" I said with a hint of jealousy in my voice. "And? Whats it to you?" Jamilah said. "That should be me not her. I mean come on i look wayyy better than her. I just don't get what he sees in her." I spat. "My goodness imaya. Get over yourself the world doesn't revolve around you. Mbaku doesn't want you so just leave it!" jamilah said annoyingly. She walked away but her words played like a tape recorder in my mind. Mbaku doesn't want you so just leave it. I hate to admit it but she's right. *i have to do something* I thought. Suddenly, a idea lit up in my brain.
He will be mine one way or another....
Jamilah Pov💕:
I know you're probably wondering why I'm so upset with Imaya but I swear she's getting on my nerves. Since she's got here all I've heard from her is "Mbaku this. Mbaku that" don't get me wrong I love Mbaku. I look up to him and he is one of the best leaders we've ever had in this tribe. He even gave me a place here in jabariland when I had nothing. It's the fact that Imaya won't take no for a answer. She's getting more and more crazy by the day and I'm convinced that she'll do anything to stop Mbaku and y/n's friendship. I'm not very familiar with y/n but I can tell she is a very sweet person and Mbaku adores her very much. If you ask me, they would look cute together but that's none of my business. Today was very stressful so I prepared a herbal bath for myself to help me de-stress. In the process of me doing this my head started pounding and I saw a image of what looks like a angry Imaya. (A/n: jamilah has special abilities and can see what's gonna happen through visions). I looked more closely and saw that she was actually putting some type of liquid into y/n's food. "Oh no I have to go tell them NOW!" I said to myself. When I reached y/n and M'baku's shared room I I informed them of everything Imaya had said earlier. "And I also just had a vision. She could try to poison you don't eat anything that she gives you." I told her. Mbaku thanked me but y/n was skeptical. "Are you sure? That doesn't seem like her." She said as her thoughts took over. "Heed my warning y/n. Imaya can't be trusted" I told her with a pleading look.
*timeskip*
The morning came and me and Imaya were preparing breakfast for the two. Other Jabari warriors would be joining us to celebrate y/n becoming a Jabari warrior. I looked over to see Imaya sprinkling some black powder into y/n's food and drink. She then turned to me and said "I'll take the plates out to them while you get the drinks." "No worries I'll take care of it. You're still new here you need to rest some " I convinced Her. When she moved from the kitchen to the dining area I quickly switched y/n's plate and drink with hers. Everyone had the same thing so there was no issue.
Jamilah pov🖤:
*why isn't the poison working* I thought as I took the last bite of my food. Suddenly, my throat began to burn like fire and I began to choke. "S-someone h-help me" I managed to say. Jamilah rushed over to me and instead of helping me up she pushed a sharp object into my skin. "Shut up!" She whispered. "This is what you get for trying to poison y/n." She spat. My karma finally came back on me. I wish I could take it all back because now I'm the one suffering. Before I could even say anything my breath slipped away and my eyes dimmed until they were shut.....
Omniscient pov🎥:
The whole Jabari tribe was shocked when they heard the news. Y/n stood there in shock and she remembered Jamilah's words. "Don't take anything she gives you. She could try to poison you" I put the pieces together and finally realized what had happened. Imaya wanted mbaku to herself and saw me as a threat therefore she attempted to kill me to get to him. *but why? Me and him are only best friends right?* I thought. I have feelings for mbaku but I haven't had the best time with relationships and I'm worried about losing our friendship. I love how he cuddles me at night or when he hugs me when we watch movies together. "Y/n i need to talk to you" mbaku said. "About what?" I questioned. "Come. We need to talk privately" he said leading me to our shared room. I sat on the bed facing him. "I'm listening whenever you're ready" I told him. "We've been bestfriends for over 4 years. I know you haven't had good experiences with relationships but give me a chance to be more than your friend." Mbaku said. "Are you sure this is a good idea? I mean what of something happens and we break up and it becomes weird between us?" I asked. "Don't worry about that y/n. I adore you very much and will always take care of you." Mbaku said holding my face to his so we'd make eye contact. "So, do you want this? I don't wanna rush you into a relationship after-" I cut him off by giving him a long, passionate kiss. "Of course I want to be with you. I was just waiting for you to finally ask me" I smirked.
☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️
Mbaku made his way closer to me and kissed my lips. I kissed him back and before I knew it we were caught up in a makeout session. Mbaku trailed kisses from my lips and then down to my neck which caused me to let out a small moan. Mbaku gave me hickeys from my neck, stomach, and even my chest. We pulled away from each other and cuddled. I turned on "Coming to America" on Netflix .
*I never knew my bestfriend would become the love of my life* i thought. Shortly after, I fell asleep in m'baku's arms and his touch brought a relaxing feel to my body.
A/n: excuse any errors😭I never proofread and I just know I be having a bunch of mistakes. But hopefully y'all enjoyed this story/imagine let me know if you have any ideas for the next one. I also take requests🤍

Let's Talk About FFXIV's Dancer Story...
For the few who know I exist and voted for this in the poll I put up, it's time to talk about one of the Jobs within Final Fantasy XIV: Dancer. And how...I really find the story horrible. Much worse than Paladin's.
Now before people start coming at me with 'but um actually's, I'm going to state this: I actually love Dancer. I've always been a sucker for classes and jobs who put focus on performance aspects. While I'm not a dancer, I used to sing in choirs and be in my schools' drama clubs. Yes, I was a Drama Kid but not the crazy batshit ones like you see on Glee. I just had fun with it. I also tend to main the Dancer Job at least when I play on Yua and anytime I really don't feel like doing much/my brain decides to go brrrrrrrr after a shift at work. You would too if you had to deal with face to face interactions. It's also great that I tend to think of great glams that would look good without the usage of mods and a lot of my glamour plates tend to be either casting or aiming involved. And yet despite all of this, I have strong feelings about the story. Negative ones.
But it wasn't always like this. In fact, when Dancer was announced during Fanfest before Shadowbringers hit, I was happy to know it was a Ranged DPS. I was going to level it first then hit the MSQ afterwards. And when I played it the first time, I thought it was alright and enjoyed it. Proudly sported the AF gear and paraded around (that's kind of a big oof there but more qualified folks can talk about that than me) But then...others started bringing up some issues they had with Dancer's story; about how the tone didn't feel right or the story was giving off a bad message. And this made me think because people weren't pulling this out of their asses, they were talking about points in the story that I myself had glossed over. Unlike how I was with Hien, blindly going along with the majority in saying how bad he was, I decided to replay the story on another character and really go through all the dialogue and story and see if they had some weight to it.
And they were right. Replaying it, I had started to get angry and really rip into it on the second go. It wasn't until my forth run that I could finally really get a good sense of how I felt. I still deemed it as the worst but I could word why a bit better.
So what is the story anyway? A group of dancers from Thavnair travel to Eorzea and want to 'bring succor'. The group, Troupe Falsiam, performs in Limsa and their leader, Nashmeira (looks like a prim rich lady) sees you and asks you if you wanna join them as a dancer and kind of psuedo guide around the realm so they perform. You also meet her protege, Ranaa, who feels like the genki girl that I swear if I didn't know better that she'd try and act like Tomo from Azumanga Daioh, and she's all happy that you're coming along. It's not until later, around level 65 that Nashmeira reveals that she was hiding something from you and the others: their journey was to stop a dance called the Totentanz from causing chaos and despair.
(On a side note, why the fuck is this dance and the war dance we know are German names and our attacks are French origin names when we don't get anything like it in Thavnair proper? Or was this a 'pull out of our ass and need some pretty names for attacks?' We'll never know.)
And where do we go to stop this place? Poor areas.
You heard me.
Nashmeira's idea is to go to poorer areas, dance for them, bring out a despair monster from it, fight it, and...that's it. Everyone should be happy for about five minutes while not knowing that it wasn't for show. So we're lying about it too? Oh goodie. It's here where I'm starting to see the tone shift/deafness of the story. Here's this conflict happening but what are you trying to tell the audience? A dance will make your problems go away?
Tumblr media
In an ideal world, that would be nice but I bet if Nashmeira met and talked to a poor person, did her dance, the poor person is probably going to look at her and ask "It's nice and all but how is that going to help me get food/shelter?" In fact, during the level 63 quest, one of the troupe members asks her why poor people in particular while agreeing that both the common and higher classes should be able to enjoy dancing, it doesn't explain why specifically the poor. You find out later that 'poor folks are more prone to despair' according to her.
Bet during Endwalker, that line of thinking bit her in the ass.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nashmeira: "Just trust me bro, it'll be fine."
Another point to this is that during the story, this is the only time someone kind of questions the troupe's leader. There's no one who looks at this in the story and questions why they're doing this and what will it help with. Again, no one speaks up and asks "Hey, how will this help me?" or even challenges Nashmeira or Ranaa's beliefs or about what they're doing. Hell, Counselingway from the Loporrits even questioned the Dreaming Ways in their questline. When a dumb meme rabbit does better than you, something's up.
The issue I have here is that Nashmeira isn't doing what she says she's doing. In order to actually stop despair, one has to look at the situation, figure what's causing the conflict, and try to stop it there. Some may say that what she and the troupe are doing are putting a band aid on but what good is it going to do if there's no result of the solution provided? They're not stopping despair, they're just only pretending to do so. It's even worse when some of the people they're trying to help are duskwights (level 65 she and the troupe actually see them as villains instead of people who need help and had them arrested by the Twin Adder and constantly demean them, calling them from rabble-rousers to nasty duskwights), those of the Brume (who have been going through some nasty revelations since the Dragonsong War ended), and those affected by the Garlean Empire's rule for over 20 years. It's heavy matters but it's just thrown off to the side like it's nothing. None of these characters have nothing to say about the meaning of despair, what a dance could do, nothing about how the art is connected to Thavnair outside 'we're from Radz-at-Han'.
Which brings me to another point as to why I say this story is the worst: the motivations of its main characters. Or rather, the lack of motivation. I brought up that Paladin is second compared to this and it's because at least a character had a motivation for picking up the sword: remember that kid from the 50-60 questline? He wanted to get stronger because his mom died. Still a shitty motivation but at least he has one. We never learn why Nashmeira or Ranaa chose the path of the Dancer. Why do they dance? Outside of this mission bullshit, we don't really understand these characters we're supposed to be standing by. While they try to give Ranaa something in the 80 capstone quest, it just has her go to Kugane. Just that and you and her dance together to let her make her choice. Why does she dance? Why and how did she get to come across the troupe? How did she become Nashmeira's protege? If I didn't play this questline four times, I would probably needed to google their names or just call them Rich Lady and Genki Catgirl. They're boring to follow and all I wanted to do was just move onwards so I could get Technical Step. I dragged my feet during my last playthrough because it was that bad.
To add on about the shift in tone, another reason I want to point out is that it was introduced in Shadowbringers. Given the idea of using emotions and finding ways to drive away despair, it should have been introduced in Endwalker. Not only that but it could have given more about the dancers' culture since we see a lot of Radiant Host members are in fact dancers. The tone of each of these expansion stories are different and it just feels like Dancer was just thrown in there because they already had two Jobs for the next expansion and in all honesty, makes me kind of sad. But even in Endwalker, we don't have any kind of lore or stories about the dancers unless you dig through a throwaway line during a small side quest in order to unlock another side questline. They just feel rather forgotten.
However, I think because quite a lot of people had feedback on it, and this is only a silly theory, the devs tried to do more within some of the sections like Thavnair's second half as the Palaka's Stand folk speak about what they learned from the gods or even Endwalker's Role Quests (minus the capstone); actually, those questlines address things I even brought up here like a conflict that's deep rooted within the community and steps to take to make it better besides 'kill the blasphemy'. You can't just fight the thing, you have to understand who they were, why they turned, what's the root conflict, and try to solve it. Some did it better than others but they tried at least.
And if you made it this far, congrats. You somehow survived my ramblings. And if you disagree and think that the Dancer Story is S Tier, then cool. It's ok to think that way. These are just my thoughts and overall, Dancer deserved much better because the potential there is great. But potential can only go so far. You can't solve despair with just a dance: you got to attack it head on and do something to ensure it stays at bay.

How does Rhiki feels about Zenos? How does she reflect on her relationship with him? or any other villain, doesn't need to be Zenos precisely. How does she feel about them?
Hahahaha....
Rhiki's feelings on Zenos are: complete and total apathy. Rhiki looks at Zenos' face and feels Nothing. She doesn't resent him, she doesn't hate him, she doesn't relate to him. She has No Strong Feelings. To her, he's just Some Guy - a garden-variety psychopath in ugly armor, functionally indistinguishable from any other Garlean Legatus.
He met her a total of 3 times and on the third time started monologuing about how they were inextricably linked, two sides of the same coin, bound to forever clash, reveling in the thrill of the hunt, etc., etc., to which Rhiki's reaction was essentially, "Sir, this is a Wendy's."
It took her an exceptionally long time to be able to put his name and his face together - the names of Garlemald's elite are long and in the long run not very important to her. I imagine strategy meetings during Stormblood going like:
Alphinaud: Before we can act, we will need to ascertain Zenos' location. Z'rhiki, raising her hand: Which one is Zenos again? Alphinaud: Rhiki, Zenos yae Galvus is the crown prince of Garlemald. Z'rhiki, staring blankly: ... Alphinaud, increasingly exasperated: The son of emperor Varis zos Galvus? The leader of the XIIth Imperial Legion? Z'rhiki: Uhhh... Alisaie: He's the one in the ugly maroon armor with the horned skull helmet. Z'rhiki: OH! That guy!
There are some villains she has stronger feelings about, though. During Stormblood she felt a lot of sympathy for Yotsuyu and especially Fordola. They had both been through some terrible things, and Rhiki had gotten a taste of what that kind of pain and anger can do to a person. She was glad when the Alliance decided to spare Fordola's life, even if Fordola wasn't. She really hoped that "Tsuyu" would never remember her life as Yotsuyu and could live out the rest of her days in peace, andwas a little heartbroken when the whole thing fell apart.
Z'rhiki also had sympathy for Emet Selch at the very end. Not that much, given all of the... everything he'd done up to that point, but definitely some. He was grieving for his friends and his home, for a place and a time and a life that would never exist again, even if he had succeeded in rejoining Etheirys. It was something that she could understand.
(Before that, though, she mostly found him condescending and annoying, and generally just acted as if he wasn't there most of the time.)
The only villains Rhiki ever really hated were the Knights of the Heavens' Ward, for reasons that are, I'm sure, fairly obvious. I don't think Rhiki had ever really hated anyone before that. Disliked, been annoyed with, been upset with, sure. But not hated. But whooo boy she hated Zephirin and Thordan enough to make up for all of the hating she missed out on. It may have also been the first time she felt real rage. She was so angry that it scared her. Triumphing over Thordan's primal was extremely unsatisfying, and afterwards she realized it was because she didn't just want to defeat them, she wanted them to suffer. She wanted to tear Zephirin's heart out with her bare hands and make him eat it. She had never known that she had that sort of anger and violence inside of her before, and it was really difficult to come to terms with.

Plans and Sabotage
Leo is THE strategic genius of the gang. He has amazing visual imagery and he's great at formulating plans... under controlled situations. He likes to be calm, collected and in the lair when he formulates his strategies— it's where he thinks the clearest. However, the high-stakes nature of the situations they end up in causes him to shut down and be unable to make proper, rational decisions for his team...
...Which is where Mikey comes into play. As the team's second-in-command, he's always the person for Leo to fall back on. His ability to remain calm in chaos paired with his impeccable intuition skills makes Mikey very important when bailing the team out of whatever high-pressure last-minute sticky situation they manage to find themselves in. One thing that's for sure; when Mikey realises something is wrong, you LISTEN, or face the consequences.
Since they don't have time for him to explain his idea, the brothers can only trust him and hope that he's right; and to make things worse his plans are often so chaotic and nonsensical that even Donnie has doubts as to whether Mikey can actually pull it off, but they never have failed in doing so. Yet.
Donnie and Raph are usually comfortable with taking the sidelines, but that doesn't mean that Leo doesn't include them when strategising though, he needs them for other things and needs to know if they are willing to/can do it. Plus, they're family! Of course they're included!
Donnie handles nearly everything behind the scenes, since he is the weakest compared to his brothers due to his upbringing prior to being found by the Hamato Clan, he would always be placed far from the battle site when it can be helped. Don't be fooled though, he's usually the most important part of the whole operation; as the resident science and machines guy he's mostly responsible for all the tech involved in that operation, as well as a lot more others. He's occasionally the errand boy. While Donnie focuses on all of the technical aspects...
...Raph is always situated at the frontlines of battle. Being the most built paired with his special interest in boxing, sparring and all things battle?? This makes him the PERFECT person to be fighting in the frontlines, and he loves the job that he is assigned. Plus, whenever he feels like he's fighting for his family, he feels a sense of... serene.
However, Raph has a problem with controlling his temper. He's impulsive, and he has a strong sense of justice. Those three traits are a recipe for disaster especially when dealing with big bad people who are out to kill your family. He'll jump at them and once his sense of justice gets in the way of his rationality there's no stopping him.
Afterwards comes the guilt: After the rage episodes— often once they're safe at the lair, Raph would express intense guilt, apologising profusely to Leo for ruining his plan and always needing Mikey to save them. Leo understands and would respond with an "It's okay, you couldn't control it, I'll help you with it."
Raph is aware that this is a problem and has been trying to stop himself from losing his temper. He'd try everything under the sun to keep his composure but it's just so hard, especially when you're in a stressful environment full of people you detest who just made a threat to your family's safety, where natural instinct overrides everything you've tried to rewire about yourself.
And while Leo understands that Raph doesn't mean to do this, he does feel hurt deep down when this happens, since that was HIS plan that he carefully constructed, and yet it almost never works out. Sometimes, he doubts himself as a true leader because of this, and other times, he can fault Raph for ruining it. I wouldn't be surprised if he snapped at Raph once or twice for going off at the bad guys, or even hurting him to some capacity in a fit of panic, trying to stop him from sabotaging the plan he just constructed.
Leo would then realise what he just did wrong, and then feel guilty HIMSELF for his own panic/anger induced episodes.
While Raph is the main perpetrator for the group's sabotage, the others also do ruin plans half the time as well. Leo for one wishes he were Leos from other iterations: as disciplined as he wants to be, he's secretly a fun lover. Well, it's an open secret, his brothers KNOW this, and oftentimes use this to their advantage.
They tempt Leo, "ooo you wanna do something fun with us instead of patrolling for Splinter so bad ooo" and 9/10 times he gives in. Of course, this leads them to a lot of trouble a lot of the time. Leo's also known to ignore Mikey's gut feelings, because sometimes his feeling goes against what Splinter says, and Leo would always pick Splinter's order over Mikey. He knows the consequences, but he doesn't wanna disappoint Splinter. Mikey always has his "I told you so!!" moment afterwards.
Donnie isn't immune to this BS even if he's the most cooperative turtle most of the time. He's usually honest about his abilities, but sometimes ego can get in the way of what he can do. Especially after meeting the big shot scientists, like Honeycutt or Mr O'Neil, he tends to constantly try to prove his worth by overestimating his own abilities.
"Oh, er... of course I can hack into this never-seen-before Utrom security system!" and he ends up setting off an alarm. Most likely, Honeycutt would talk some sense into him after he finds out about this.
Mikey can screw up, too. He has ADHD and can be impulsive, so he's known to act against his own gut feeling when his heart overrides his gut. Having extremely high empathy, and just generally being a silly dude overall, he tends to drop any and all existing plans if there's a [perceived] life at risk. For example, a hologram injured cat. Even though his gut feeling is telling him that this is wrong, he could ignore it because he doubts his own intuition, refusing to risk a life just because "he got cocky with his abilities."

Syb Books Forbidden Door
Hi welcome to my completely unrealistic (as in, some of these wrestlers already have confirmed matches) fantasy booking for Forbidden Door. I simply felt like doing this :) Looking forward to the real card, hope you enjoy my silly little musings!
PRE-SHOW:
Utami Hayashita & Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Jamie Hayter & Eddie Kingston
Actual intergender none of that mixed tag shit. I'm gonna be real here this is just four wrestlers I think are neat. I also think Eddie deserves a Tana match to add to his accolades. Utami and Tanahashi to win, just a good sportsmanlike time.
CHAOS (Chuck Taylor,Trent?, Rocky Romero, Lio Rush, YOH) vs. The Elite (Golden Lovers/Young Bucks/Hangman)
Listen man. I know people are hyped for Omega vs Ospreay big singles 2 but idk I don't really want a rematch and I'd love to let the Elite get a chance to rest and do zany shit. Booking a GL kiss spot in ring. Lio Rush and YOH are there because boyfriends vs. husbands match. Elite win, lots of goofy hijinks. Okada can show up at the end for tension and then shake hands with Kenny :)
*
MAIN SHOW:
MJF vs. Toro Yano (anything goes rules)
This would never in a million years happen because joyless hacks don't think a biggest boy belt can also be a comedy match. However. MJF is excellent at Wile E. Coyote comedy and I'd love to see him go up against the resident trickster. He can even coward heel it up about not wanting to do a strong style match, it'd work for him! I'd book him to win but barely, this way he can gloat to Mox later that he did what Mox could not.
TMDK (Zack Sabre Jr., Kosei Fujita, Robbie Eagles, Lee Moriarty) vs. Blackpool Combat Club (Bryan Danielson, Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castiglioni, Shota Umino)
We all wanna see DBry vs ZSJ in the ring and this could lead to a big singles afterwards. Yeah I fantasy booked Moriarty in TMDK he's good and deserves more shine. Because this is an AEW show and they're cheating bastards (affectionate) BCC should take this one. But lots of grapple fucking before that please :)
Kris Statlander vs. AZM
I think we should do HER BIG against HER FAST I think that would be a really fun matchup. Would be great to see how Kris works with a speed wrestler :") Kris win but barely. This would probably be an all timer on the card.
Katsuyori Shibata & Ren Narita vs. KENTA & Clark Connors
Playing to the NJPW fans in the audience but this would have eons of juicy drama behind it. Kenta came back from a grueller of a bad American tour in 2019 to Japan and debuted in NJPW with a then-just-recovered from injury Shibata as his manager. Kenta then betrayed Shibata for Bullet Club. Narita and Connors would have trained together in the LA Dojo– most of the gaijin LA Dojo trainees have gone to Bullet Club by now. The story of Kenta and Shibata grudge match against the backdrop of the golden protegé and the fallen protegé squaring off writes itself. Booking Shibata and Ren to win after a tough fight – lbr, Bullet Club deserves to be put down a little for stealing ALL those good boys.
David Finlay vs Jay White "who is the REAL bullet club" match
Ex-Bullet club leader and all around pathetic wet rat Jay White was ousted by his longtime rival Finlay when he left NJPW. Did you know these guys are 12 (Jay) - 2 (Finlay) in singles? Holy shit the drama there. I'd book Finlay to win because Jay is sooooo fun when he's pathetic.
The Outcasts (Toni Storm and Ruby Soho) vs. God's Eye (Syuri and Konami) vs. Donna Del Mondo (Giulia & Maika)
I feel like AEW audiences need to see how fuckin sick women's wrestling can be, and we do need at least two Joshi teams to make that happen. I don't follow Stardom in detail but Syuri being an ex-member of Donna Del Mondo might lead to some fun drama. Either of the Stardom teams gotta take this one, I am kinda crushing on Giulia so it can be her (just to stick it to the Outcasts twice, I suppose ;) )
Orange Cassidy vs. El Desperado
Despy is good. So good he deserves to be the one who takes the belt on a Japanese tour. American audiences can enjoy his extremely good splits and he and Orange would be excellent opponents. Despy to win, I really hope they do have a cool Japanese wrestler take the belt on a little tour :)
FTR vs. Los Ingobernables de Japon (Tetsuya Naito and Shingo Takagi)
I'm gonna be real with you, this is an obligatory tag match because NJPW doesn't pay nearly enough attention to their tag matches. At least Shingo and Naito will be fun. FTR win obviously, why would they lose against two singles guys?
Jon Moxley vs. Kazuchika Okada
No shade to Bryan who is a good booking too but I wanna see Okada bleed because I'm a funky little pervert 😌 doesn't matter who wins as long as crimson mask Okada 🥰

Kanra's Thoughts on Kanazawa Division
Tumblr media
Wataru Sasaki
“I don't think Officer Sasaki likes me very much after I destroyed that weapons trafficking ring. Okay so was in Kanazawa with Yuriko-san and Kaoru when I wandered off and got lost. So I'm walking around trying to find them when I come across this old warehouse. I hear a bunch of voices from inside it and I get closer trying to see if they can give me directions. I didn't realize that it was a base for weapon traffickers until I saw the crates full of weapons! I’m trying to leave because I have no business being there. One of the guys spotted me trying to leave and sounds the alarm. The next thing I know is that I’m surrounded by a bunch of guys and the leader comes up to me and is like “sorry kid but you saw too much”. It hits me that they're gonna try to get rid of me and well I took offense to that. Officer Sasaki was the first one on the scene along with that FBI Agent. It took him a minute to get his bearings because apparently seeing a tiny girl pick up a car and throw it threw him off. Eventually, I learned that Officer Sasaki and his men were watching that warehouse for suspicious activity and I blew their operation into oblivion with my stunt. Officer Sasaki wanted to charge me with something but considering it was ruled as self-defense he wasn't able to. I think that really got under his skin.”
Kyler Aaron
“Oh, it's the FBI Agent that was with Officer Sasaki. He was the one who actually told me to put my hands up. I was going to when more of those traffickers arrived. I won't lie I probably should’ve thought of something else other than punching the ground with enough force to cause a decent-sized crater but what can you do? It caused those traffickers to surrender at least. I didn't talk to Agent Kyler much afterward but he just kept staring at me like he couldn't believe I was real. I guess I don't blame him for that seeing someone punch a crater in the ground sounds like something you find in those American comic books.”
Joey Kurusu
“I like Detective Kurusu the best out of the three. We meet when Officer Sasaki and Agent Kyler brought me to the station. Kaoru apparently knows him. When Yuriko-san finally made it to the station she started talking to Officer Sasaki and Agent Kyler. While she was doing that with Kaoru Detective Kurusu came up to me because he was curious as to why I was brought in. My stomach started growling then and Detective Kurusu offered me something called fairy bread. It wasn't bad and I asked Detective Kurusu if he had any more when Yuriko-san told me it was time to go. I was grounded for a whole month for what I did which sucked.”
Justice Shield
“Well, this division is better than the rabbit bastard from Yokohama at the very least. Still not the biggest fan of cops after all the times I've been arrested. I’m going to avoid this team mainly because I don't need Officer Sasaki trying to arrest me. He could try but I'm sure we both know how that might end up. Shield huh? I wonder if their shield is strong enough to handle me?”

◤❀Cнαrαcтer'ѕ Sтυdy: ✿◢
➤ Tianyou Zhao - born on August 7th, 1987 - was the former Liumang Leader and currently one of the seven party members in Ichiban's party. Being born to the previous Liumang Leader, he was raised with high expectations and forced to do many things towards being the next in line as the leader. Being the only child didn't help either, making the expectations on him to be even more higher.
People were forced to become his friends if not, only making a good impression on him out of fear of what will happen to them. In anything Zhao was put in, he was actually that one kid who did pretty well in doing it. Even picked it up quickly. Being taught how to fight, dance, sing, any sports he was put into, etc. Nowadays, it is still drilled into him that he needs to do it well, even if no one is going to judge him for him not doing it successfully. Zhao never had a say of what he wanted to do for majority of his childhood and almost into his teenage years. By the time he reached the end of his middle school years and going onto his high school years, he gotten somewhat of a say in what he wanted to do, though it had to be approved by his father.
Zhao's mother died when he was about nine years old, which left them both affected by her death. Zhao's father more than Zhao himself, which led to a much more of a watchful eye over him, being claimed that this is what his mother wanted.
Meals were often consider as fulfilling and healthy, leaving little to no room for anything snack-related. He didn't get to have fun much. Such as going to the movie theaters, despite wanting to, or going shopping.
➤ Zhao's genuine friend was actually Mabuchi. While the guy had things Zhao admired about him, he didn't hesitate in befriending Mabuchi. It's why Zhao had felt strong emotions during the final scene for his bond, feeling angry that his friend would do this to him and to the Liumang. Even betrayed. Something he kept in afterwards when he and Ichiban left. Not something Zhao would talk about or even mention outside of what happened, though he can if push comes to shove.
As mentioned numerous times before, Zhao never had genuine friends outside of Mabuchi or even anything at all. All his friends were forced upon him for further connections. So, having a genuine connection with him is a bit new to him, especially to navigate. So, don't be startled or disappointed if Zhao takes time to adjust to the dynamic. Some dynamic may take quicker than others. Such as when he bonded rather quickly with Adachi (as a best friend) and Daigo (as a father figure).
Unlike many of my muses, where they can do the adopting, Zhao is excluded from this. While he is old enough to adopt some people, he is more on the side of being adopted or being consider as a brother-like figure. Each muse that has adopted him will have their own timeline. So far, those who has adopted him: Xiuying / Kaito (this is a bit more angsty, given Xiuying's family and how Kaito feels about having his own kids), Alucard (needs to be interacted with but it was discussed), Mine (he is the only person outside of a few others that Zhao feels close with thanks to a bunch of plotting and interactions), Daigo / Yagami (I only include Yagami because of the ship but outside of it, it could just be Daigo), and a few others I need to touch upon.
Siblings-wise: A bunch of sisters as far as I recall. It's funny to me?? Cause I have yet to see any brothers for Zhao.
➤ Anyways, education was pretty easy and swift for him. He did everything great. He was at the top of his classes. Even took classes outside of school, though it was mostly for other things. Such as combat lessons or dancing.
➤ Zhao's appearance is pretty out there. Not only is his attire is funky but it does have an odd sense of fashion to him that does make him feel more comfortable. In fact, his hair is only slicked back by gel and his glasses are two-in-line. They are similar to Higashi's, being sunglasses yet aids Zhao to see properly.
Outside of his usual attire, he is seen wearing day-to-day clothes. T-shirts, goodies, sweatpants, you name it. His jewelry dies still stay on for the most part, unless he is showering or he is extremely ccomfortable. The only piece of jewelry that stays on is his necklace, which is a special item for him he refuse to allow others to touch or even take off, unless it's to shower.
His PJs are a bit cute to see but to be expected. They are themed with cartoon characters he saw and ended up getting themes of for his sleep wear.
➤ Other than cooking, Zhao does polish up his saber and his jewelry. He also has a habit of going to get more snacks to add to his piles of snacks. He is seen to be feeding the local strays if not trying to catch up on movies.

9 characters x Y/n
Tumblr media
My 9 AU (alive AU)
(Contains spoilers for the actual movie.. I guess..)
1: Y/n was made from the same Scientist as 1-9 she was given the ♾️ symbol meant to symbolize the future… but she was made before the war.. 1 was made when the war had only just begun and to say he was scared was an understatement he was Terrified… he often hid behind y/n depending on her for strength and courage.. She inspired him to be a leader to be strong and not have to depend on her or anyone else. To inspire the other that came after.. She's the one who gave him his red cape. It used to be hers. She gave it to him to remind him to be brave.. One day they were caught up in the middle of the raging war in the emptiness when tragedy struck… y/n was crushed but before it happened she gave one her coin that he later wore on his hat asking him to not forget her…
everyone thought she was dead so when she showed up one day with 9 and 7 everyone was certainly surprised… especially 1… Y/n wasn't too pleased that one became a tyrant and overall a very selfish person… so of course their relationship was kinda tense but they didn't have time for that because 9 awakened the machine…(movie continues as normal with the addition of y/n) When 9 was going to sacrifice himself so the others could live but y/n planed on sacrificing herself instead believing that he was the leader the others need but what  didn't know was that 1 was also planning on pushing 9 out of the way to finally do something right by him y/n and the others so when y/n tried to push 9 out of the way 1 pushed her out of the way "Y/n no!!"
(Movie continues as usual after 1s death with the addition of a depressed y/n but ended with a twist) after the machine was defeated the souls of the ones who died were released and re entered their bodies thus reviveing themselves. Y/n and 1 had a very emotional reunion after this releasing all of the bottled up feelings and emotions and revealed their feelings for each other and getting together. Afterwards 1 stepped down as leader giving y/n the title but she refused saying 9 should be the leader because he saved everyone but 9 gave a speech about how they didn't need a leader they just needed each other if they had that they could pull through anything.
2: Y/n came from a different Scientist not really knowing much about them once she awakened she set out to try to find others and then she met 5 and he led her back to the sanctuary where she met the others. Y/n had been at the sanctuary for some time when she started to develop feelings for 2 she thought he was the smartest person left she admired him so much but she had anxiety when it came to talking to him often completely freezing up whenever he tried talking to her but truthfully he had feelings for her as well unaware of her feelings towards him convinced that she wouldn't be interested in someone so old considering she was a newer model.. But she wouldn't call it older she would call it more experienced due to her being so nervous around him he thought he made her uncomfortable.. One day they were talking and he conferenced to her she wanted to tell him she felt the same way but couldn't form the words.. When 1 sent him out to scout she found it very suspicious an wanted to go with him but 2 said he wanted her to stay put whare it was safe.
(Movie continues as normal 2 gets captured) When 5 came back with 9 and said 2 got taken by the beast she was devastated but she was determined to find him alive y/n insisted on going with 5 and 9 to save 2 so the 3 of them did (movie continues as normal with the addition of y/n) after 7 showed up and killed the beast y/n helped 2 up "are you alright?" She asked him but of course he was more worried about her. Y/n noticed 9 messing with the device that the beast was trying to put into something that looked to be made for it but she had a bad feeling so she went to stop him. "Wait! We don't know what it is yet!" Y/n said just as 9 put the device in then it started glowing green before shooting out green light 2 pushed her and 9 out of the way just before I killed him "TWO!!" Y/n screamed as 5 held her back as she watched him die..
(Movie continues as usual with the addition of a depressed y/n) Y/n ended up dieing during the part at the bridge trying to protect 6. Y/n didn't see 2 on the other side she didn't see anything at all it was completely empty it was scary.. Then 9 saved the day freeing the trapped souls and y/n and the others who died came back. It was an extremely emotional moment for everyone especially y/n who yelled out her feelings for 2 and how she wanted to say something sooner but was afraid. They finally get together.
¾: Y/n was made from a different Scintest. When y/n awoke she moved from place to place on one or more occasion she came across 7 who tryed to convince her to join the fight against the beast but y/n wasn't one for conflict. One night thare was a terrible dust storm and y/n seaked shelter ultimately comeing across the library seeing 7 thare and the twins 3 and 4 y/n found them adorable but not in a romantic way at least not at first however the twins fell hard for her but not being able to verbalize they way they were feeling (the movie continues as normal with the addition of y/n and the twins trying to protect echoher) y/n doesn't die neither do the twins. In the heat of the moment of everyone who did die comeing back you were so excited that you kissed one of the twins then backing up in embarrassment but the twin kissed her back then the other twin also wanted a kiss so that's how y/n and the twins ended up dateing 7 just smirked at you guys..😏
5: Y/n also comes from a different Scientist. Once she awakened she wandered out to try to find others and then stumbled across 5 and he took her to the sanctuary she didn't really talk much but she got defensive when 1 got mad at 5 for being in the emptiness Which surprised 5 and ever since he has been drawn to her. Like I said she doesn't talk much, she's usually pretty quiet. She always hangs around 5 following him everywhere usually wordlessly. 5 fell hard and fast but was way too nervous to admit it. (movie continues as Normal with the addition of y/n she died protecting 5 he died afterwards tho.. but everything was cool after 9 brought everyone back and instead of using words to express how 5 made her feel she just kissed him.
6: (same concept. Different scientist 5 brought y/n to the sanctuary) Y/n was the opposite of 6. She enjoyed talking to 6 because she could just talk and he would listen. She often hung around with 6 in his drawing area.  She developed feelings for 6 pretty quickly but didn't say anything fearing he wouldn't feel the same way but he did. He just wasn't completely sure of his feelings but she did make him nervous in a way that he kinda liked. She didn't seem to be a violent or angry person however whenever 8 bullies 6 she gets very mad and protective almost fighting him a few times but does end up befriending him. (Movie continues with the addition of y/n she dies before 6) y/n confessed her feelings for 6 before she died so once they both came back to life he confessed too and they got together.
7: (same concept. Different scientist) Once y/n awoke she stayed put not venturing out into the emptiness out of fear of what she might find. 7 found you when she decided to explore the place y/n stayed in. She managed to convince her to join the fight against the beast and free the world or what was left of it.. Problem was y/n couldn't fight so 7 offered to teach her. And that entailed her following 7 around everywhere y/n fell hard and fast 7 also had feelings for her but never showed it. (Movie continues as Normal neither of them die but y/n nearly did so she ended up confessing to 7 in the moment so afterwards 7 grabs her and kisses her while the battle against the machine is still going on.
8: (Same scenario. Different scientist 5 brought y/n to the sanctuary) everyone was frightened by 8 and understandably so he was pretty intimidating but y/n never even flinched at 8 witch seemed out of character considering y/n was a lot like 6 in a lot of ways she wasn't even fazed by 8s threatening demeanor set him on edge. She often protected the others from 8 and 1 leaving one to slowly start to see himself as..well a bully.. He never wanted it to be that way. He was just trying to do his job protecting the leader but he realized his ego got to his head. He noticed how he made all the others afraid just by walking into a room… but not Y/n..and he didn't understand why..
One day his thoughts got too much for him and he had a breakdown sobbing feeling like he was losing touch with who he was y/n happened to be passing through when this happened so she comforted 8 the best she could he didn't understand why she helped him after everything.. It didn't make sense, nothing really did any more… His thoughts were all jumbled up and eventually he started to develop feelings for her but he refused to say anything fearing if he did she would hate him..
(Movie continues as normal with the addition of y/n she ends up dying before 8) once 9 brings everyone that died back y/n runs up and hugs 8 tightly tears streaming down her face he starts crying as well but then there's a pause share they look into eachothers eyes slowly getting closer before kissing. So they finally got together.
9: (different scientist still) Y/n awoke around the same time as 9 so when he wandered out to find others y/n did as well and they met when 9 met 2 (movie continues as normal with the addition of y/n) Y/n is a lot like a lot.. Like 9 except she wasn't the dunce that put the talisman in the machine and dooming everyone.. Let's just say.. When he did that she was… well VERY angry.. And tried to beat him up 7 had to hold her back but 9 was just like "No she has every right to be angry I screwed up so bad.." (You think!?) (Movie continues as normal with some uncomfortable tension between 9 and y/n this time 1 died before he tried to sacrifice himself to save 9 so instead it was Y/n who stopped 9 from dieing 9 was Horrified by this but ended up saving the day and reviving y/n and everyone else who died. To be completely honest there was some feelings floating around between them the whole time but even more so now that it's all over but it's just kinda just left alone neither of them addressing it while the feelings grow more. they don't really get together until like a long line after the war with the machine and it happened when 9 was having a breakdown suffering from major PTSD of watching half of everyone he's ever known including y/n die before his  eyes because of something stupid he did he was convinced she still hated him and that the others did to.. Y/n happened to walk in on this breakdown and admitted that she never hated him and that truthfully she had feelings for him. So they FINALLY get together.
The end.
