Hi friends! Welcome to my new fixation lol. I just wanted to start out with some headcanons just to kind of bulid them how I would like... Hope you enjoy🔪💕

MASTERLIST

SIMON "GHOST" RILEY

As he says in the game, Simon has a heart, a very cold one, however to the people he truly loves and holds close you get to see his heart and it is one of gold. He is a man that has seen a lot in life and been through too much bad that he thinks there is no way he could ever be good or meant to find love, however that is completely untrue and sometimes Simon needs that reminder. It may take a solid year before he even smiles at you under the mask or let alone share a deep conversation with you. It takes a long time for him to trust, but when he does, you are his family. No if ands or buts.

Because of this Simon has a very small social circle. Ghost knows many due to work and connections, people he has worked for and favours he'd have favours to return, however Simon only knows a couple people, truly knows them. And when he knows you he reminds all of your subtle mannerisms, your childhood stories, want you like and what you hate. No detail will be forgotten and it is a pleasure to know him.

Ghost watches everything.... absolutely everything. On missions you often see him stepped aside or behind the others but that definitely doesn't mean he will stand there and take it, we all know that well, and at home is no exception. He likes to observe you in all ways from making your coffee in the morning to just watching you get ready for bed. This carries over into the bedroom, that's right, Simon loves to give orders and watch you do so much for him. You're his perfect little baby and he wants to see you a mess.

Also one of his favorite things is to have you sit in front of him and please yourself, watch you struggle to get the feeling only Simon can give you. Normally he doesn't have the patience of a God but for moments like these he will take his time to watch you fall apart for him only because Simon knows the world of pleasure and pain he will give you after.

Surprisingly however, this man is an incredibly giving person behind closed doors, just for you to see. Simon enjoys getting you little gifts after long grueling missions, buying your favorite food, he just doesn't like the kind of gifts that are overly showy like walking around with a bunch of flowers is not his style. Speaking of giving behind closed doors, Ghost loves to push you to your absolute limit in the bedroom, with all his observations of you he takes every little hint and move forward to get the best results so to speak. He simply cannot get off if you haven't at least twice before him.

However, do not let that pleasing and giving nature in the bedroom lull you into a false sense of security because Simon is a big fan of edging you over and over again, making you cry and squeal, hit him and claw at him, he wants to see/hear it all. Ghost is a sadist after all (just not as much as König).

Nights are the hardest for him, even though he will never admit it. Simon has a horrendous time trying to sleep and when he finally does it is very light, waking up if he hears a truck pull up or if you move too much in bed. No matter what you try he will just brush it off and say "Nothing to worry 'bout, love" but it does worry about you. Often times you will try to stay up with Simon and he appreciates it everytime but will always hush you to bed and watch you on his chest.

KÖNIG

He may have severe social anxiety but when he is out in the field he gets so hopped up on adrenaline and stress that he becomes outgoing and more than capable of everything the mission needs, even becoming a leader when he needs to be. The problem comes when he is on the bases and in meetings, he shifts a lot in his seat, bounces his leg and even nibbles on his lips so badly they begin to bleed behind the mask. Even when König is home, the anxiety sets in so he relies on trying to keep constantly busy so he doesn't have to sit with his own thoughts.

With that, he surprisingly has a major caffeine addiction, it keeps him awake, alert and oddly makes him calm when he is on that high. Always the day has to begin with a black coffee then a redbull then whatever else he can get his hands on, even if he is on a mission König will try anything for energy drinks.

Although this man is a mountain, good luck keeping him still and being able to relax for the day. König will try for you to have a relaxing day on the couch and just watching movies, however, he just finds it impossible. If you want a day in bed, he doesn't have an issue but it just means you will be getting busy the whole time.

König is a big boy and that doesn't mean his stamina is low, no, no. It's the absolute opposite. One round is never enough for him, never, ever. When he gets home to see you, there is no way you are getting out of the primal, animalistic urges he has. There is a reason his name is "king", he always gets what he wants in not exactly the softest way. König's energy is more rough and needy, desperate I'm a way as he takes you in anyway possible, even forcing you to take it when you can't any longer. The man loves to use ropes as well, tying your writhing body down to watch you beg and cry with overstimulation as me makes you cum over and over, forcing you and breeding you animalistically. It will be hours before his knife comes out to cut the ropes and lap up any blood that comes from it.

Speaking of knives and blood, König has an honest love for it. He is gross the field, brutal and a 250 pound beast. His passion for knives is unmatched and sees pleasure in the kill when he plunges the blade within a body or when he gets a sniper shot.

König might be a huge mountain with anxiety, a passion for the thrill of the kill, often a stubborn bastard who can be a prick and his the libido of a God but when König finally finds his partner as awkward as he might be at first, he falls hard and is full of fire, feeling deeply and truly just wanting someone to talk with on the nights he can't sleep, although he sleeps like a fucking immovable rock. Now, you won't go out much to bars or movies or restaurants for dates, he just loves the quiet places and long drives.

DNDADS S1EP38 Spoilers

we need to talk about how well this episode could translate into a full length episode of a show;

the quick changes in locations, each of which being important to the plot and helping to set up the full story. (behind the waterfall, journey to oakvale, the group split, inside the van, and inside oakvale)

the beginning where they meet up with walter and the rest of the kids, while also stirring the pot between Henry and his children before they go to Oakvale.

the foreshadowing from the wolves and of wandering through a forest of trees that all look the exact same and showing Barry’s way of thinking through that.

henry and ron splitting from the rest of the group, and creating tension later when one group has important information before the other.

Ron and Henry. just them being them, while also buliding to Henry’s big anxiety attack in the next episode.

the perfect, chefs kiss cut from Darryl and Glenn getting INCREDIBLY important information and Darryl going “they might’ve just walked into a trap!” back to Ron and Henry. (seriously, i replay that part A LOT when i relisten to this episode, it’s perfect)

the entire fucking scene with Henry, Ron and that bird named Dominos where they tell Henry and Ron about “Bar-ry Oak’, to which Henry responds with “Barry Oak bulit this place?”

Dominos commenting on how Henry pronounces Barry’s name, asking where he’s from.

RON’S FUCKING LINE OF ‘Where are you from?” AND HENRY SCREAMING “I DON’T KNOW!”

The guards recognizing Henry as “Sir Hen” and the pure SHOCK of that to both the audience AND ESPECIALLY Henry.

Barry Oak coming out, as calm as ever, and this powerful ass line of “You don’t have to hide anymore,,You’re home.”

I’m just saying, if someone made a show out of this dumb little podcast, this episode wouldn’t need a single thing cut from it, because this entire episode felt so satisfying and kept raising the tension throughout.

*Based on things I’ve noticed about different placements as a Leo sun/Virgo moon/Capricorn rising... these notes may not resonate for everyone but that’s just the way the cookie crumbles baby* MADE BY SONDERASTROLOGY

🧿I see the people I’m close with more as their moon sign with a dash of their sun, almost as if the placements were reversed. This is because the moon sign is sort of hidden at first whereas the sun sign is the core energy. When you befriend or love someone, the moon sign (emotions, mental processes) is slowly uncovered and in my opinion, takes over the general energy of the sun. Of course, all signs, houses, and aspects are important... this is just the way I look at it idk.

🧿Everyone needs a best friend with the same rising sign as your moon sign... they just *get* you.

🧿Also having friends with the same mars sign as you is so important! They can hype you up like no other and vice versa.. your vibes just click.

🧿I’ve noticed that people with opposite sun signs but rising signs in the same element take AMAZING pictures together. For example; A Pisces sun w a Leo rising and a Virgo sun w a Sagittarius rising would make eachother look bomb in photos.

🧿Pisces, cancer, Virgo, and libra placements are proned to being stalked and hit on by weird men... I’ve seen it too many times, protect yourselves!!!

🧿People always tell me that they were intimidated by me at first or even “scared”, and that I give off a bitchy vibe. My placements that indicate this?Capricorn rising (Uranus, Neptune, Lilith in 1st house), Leo venus and Virgo moon in my 8th house, Scorpio MC, Scorpio and Pluto in my 11th house. Other placements that can have this effect: Aries, Scorpio, Aquarius, and Earth signs in personal planets/MC/Rising signs. Personal planets aspecting mars, Pluto, saturn, sometimes Neptune, and Lilith. Mars/Aries, Saturn/Capricorn Pluto/Scorpio in the 1st, 2nd, 7th, 10th, 11th house. 8th house placements and Chart Ruler in the 8th, 10th, and maybe 12th house. There’s definitely a whole lot more placements not just these.

🧿Aquarius/Air dominant people (esp mixed with fire) along with an array of other placements I’m sure, have a VERY hard time with forced structure and routine... it brings out their rebellious nature.My best friend from high school is an Aquarius Sun Gemini Moon (with an Aries mars), and she DESPISED going to school for 7 hours a day, she just couldn’t do it. She would skip school all the time and eventually enrolled in night school. Same went for my other friend who was a Sag sun Gemini moon, both of them would act TF out in class. They’d fight with teachers, the principle, other students... and I really believe it was due to the forced schedules and the power dynamic between teachers and students in high school. The Aquarius sun person is my best friend today, and she’s one of the smartest people I know. Just because you weren’t “good” at school does NOT mean you aren’t smart. Fuck the system is an air sign BRAND.

🧿I’ve noticed A LOT of Gemini sun, moon, and rising people have light shades of hair... mostly blonde or dirty blonde.

🧿I’ve met 4 people born on the 28th of the month and all of them are incredibly beautiful... no matter what sign. Same goes for July Leo’s although I’ve noticed that they’re more arrogant and self centered than August Leo’s who are more generous and outgoing

🧿Your Jupiter sign can help you work with law of attraction and manifestation more effectively. If you have Jupiter in an air sign, try manifesting things by; writing it down, saying it out loud, visualization, and meditation. If you have Jupiter in a fire sign; manifest under the sun, write out a plan even if it’s unrealistic. If you want money, hold even a penny or a dollar and act as if it’s the amount you want. Act as if everything you want is already yours. If you have Jupiter in an earth sign; manifest while doing yoga or on a walk. Manifest outside or read/listen to positive affirmations. 🧿Based off of people I’ve met, air risings aren’t as friendly and bubbly as you’d think they’d be when you first meet them. Even their vibe seems nervous and closed off at first; standing with arms crossed, shoulders inward, I dont know just sort of shy. Once they open up a bit more then their weird side comes out and they become more goofy and carefree. I think air signs of all placements struggle deeply with anxiety even though they are often portrayed as outgoing and quirky, which they are but a thin viel covers it. No matter what, air placements keep an open mind and I’ve always felt like I could be myself around them.

🧿Libra placements are known for disliking confrontational disputes but I’ve noticed that these are the same people to whisper nasty things under their breathe when you start to walk away from an argument... they have you whip back around like “do you have something to say?!”

🧿I’ve seen this before and imo it’s true! Signs in the 8th house rule addictions... I saw someone post that having a water sign in the 8th house could indicate addictions to liquid, more specifically; caffeine and alcohol. Being addicted to something is in other words creating a bond with it- water signs are naturally bonded with liquid so it makes sense that their prone to being addicted to them. Water signs occupying the 8th house might always drink water or have water with them. Since the 8th house also rules finances to an extent, most of their money might go to coffee, drinks, beach vacations etc. For fire signs over the 8th house, they could be addicted and/or spend a lot of money on smoking, spicy foods, or anything that gives them a rush; rollercoasters, haunted houses, skydiving or even drugs like esctacy/cocaine... anything that gives them that thrill or lights a match in their stomach. Earth signs in the 8th house may be addicted to physical things; money, work, food, looks,... things that give them value or that call on their senses and ego. They could hoard/collect items such as coins, cars, beauty products, etc., or generational items passed down... due to bonding with things that they can bulid/see/show off overtime. They are very attached to the physical because as an earth sign it feeds their ego and value, like a tree growing in soil. Money could mostly go to eating, gambling, plastic surgery, materialistic stuff. They could be addicted to buying things and selling them for a higher price. Air signs occupying the 8th house could point to spending a lot of money on or being addicted to technology or all things ‘relevant’. These individuals might be addicted to their phones/social media and the attention they get from it. These people are always posting stories throughout the day or online shopping or even just browsing different apps. They’re addicted to getting information via books, the internet, and through talking to other people... oftentimes these individuals are very good at making money through the internet (depending on other placements ofc). They may spend a lot of money on books, new gadgets, music, tattoos and puzzles. These people are addicted to all things new! They have a thirst for knowledge and experiences and will seek it out effectively. 🧿When I look at a person’s birth chart, whatever gender, I especially pay close attention to their Mars sign and house. To me, Mars represents the overall energy and vibe a person gives off and the house placement is where it’s most naturally acted out. For example ; Aries Mars in the 6th house. Aries Mars person would give off a hyper, motivated, impulsive energy. Physically this could manifest as shaking their leg while sitting, quick movements,standing/walking instead of sitting down, gives off a more to the point and carefree attitude (keep in mind all of this is affected by many other aspects and placements in a chart). Being in the 6th house, ruling day to day routine, health, how we act at work, etc., this means that the Aries Mars characteristics are more prominent during work and day to day rituals (quicker to learn, effectively performing daily tasks, gets shit done, or they could get into arguments at work easily, constantly rush around, might be stubborn about seeing a doctor/health professional, might be more prone to getting headaches at work or in general) again, depending on the rest of the chart

Sims 4 Pack Ranking

Wondering which Sims 4 pack to buy? Here is my personal ranking.

Expansion Packs

1. Seasons

Great pack! It brings so much to the game! Weather gives the game a sense of realism. Being able to control the sim calendar is a God-send! You can add your own holidays and schedule events! Traditions are fun and bring family and friends together. I love throwing a Black and White bash on New Year’s Eve and a Dinner party on Christmas Day. It also helps you keep track of your sims’ schedules. Not to mention swings, sprinklers you can play with, kiddie pools, flower-arranging tables, snow activities, scarecrows, water baloon buckets, roller-blading and ice skating rinks and so much more! CAS and Bulid and Buy are also wonderful! And finally you can choose sims’ hot weather and cold weather outfits!

2. Cats and Dogs

I am biased because I love animals. Pets are a great addition to the family. You can train dogs, take them for walks and play with them. CAS for them is amazing! Brindleton Bay is a great seaside new world. And you can create and own your own vet!

3. Island Living

Certainly not everyone’s favourite pack but I absolutely love it! Sulani is a gorgeous world. Living the island lifestyle is one of my favourite’s to experience in this whole game. And now you can vacation their for a wonderful honeymoon or family trip! There’s mermaids (which you can become or create), sand activities, water activities like swimming, jet-skiing, canoeing, diving, scuba-diving and playing with dolphins. CAS and Build and Buy are amazing!

4. Discover University

My one issue with this pack is that I think it takes too long to graduate, especially when you’re playing on short lifespan. But apart from that, I have so much fun completing each students daily and term check-lists and it feels so good for your sim to enter a career at a higher level, already armed with the necessary skills. Living on campus is fun, especially in dorms. You can play table tennis, juggle a football or join the rabbit-hole team, build robots, ride bikes and more!

5. Get Together

Another pack that is not everyone’s favourite. I personally find it to be an essential. I use clubs all the time to allow family and friends to get together and socialise autonomously or to create specialised clubs where they complete hobbies autonomously and raise their skills. I find the nightclub experience so fun and take my sims out to one every friday in their clubs or by hosting a dance party or both! And the world is gorgeous! I love the little cafe’s!

6. Get Famous

I end up having a lot of performer sims, so the fame system and perks come in very handy. And your sim can get famous doing anything with the help of a drone and a video recording station! I think it adds to the game working towards your sim becoming not only a painter but a world-renowned one! There’s even a music station where you can create your own beats! The actor career is my favourite in the whole game. It’s so fun having your sims dress up in different costumes and perform a sword fight on set.

7. City Living

The City is beautiful. The festivals are amazing! My favourite is the spice festival because yes to my sims experiencing new cultures! I love living in an apartment. There are so many quirks, like your neighbour forcing their way in to borrow your shower or for game night. Love shooting hoops, setting off fireworks and adding all the new dishes to unique restaurants.

8. Snowy Escape

I’m still learning about this game as it’s fairly new. Love exploring the new culture. Their aren’t as many things to do at the festivals as I feel their were at those that came with City Living. Great food to add to restaurants. Snowboarding and skiing are really fun and it’s great that kids can do it too and that all ages, including todllers can snowboard. As someone who goes on a lot of walks, I look forward to trying out hiking. It looks really fun! I just feel this pack could have packed in a little more.

9. Get To Work

I’ve had this game for ages and I’m still yet to buy my own retail store. I need to get on that! I haven’t played the scientist career yet but I’ve played the doctor one and the law enforcement one and they do get boring after a while if your playing them actively everyday. Perhaps I should not play actively some days in the future. I think I just need to play with this one more.

10. Eco Lifestyle

I was really dissapointed when I heard this game was coming out. I’m all for saving the environment but I wasn’t sure it was something I’d have fun playing with in the sims and I haven’t really had much fun with it. Candle making is kinda fun but I hate that you have to have bits and pieces to make them as they are not easy to get. The only thing I really like in this pack is juice fizzing and the neighbourhood action plans. Free-love is a great addition for my polyamorous sims but it sucks that once they’re out of the neighbourhood, they get jealous again. Living off a dumpster is a fun challenge but it gets boring after a while. I don’t really like CAS or build and buy that much either.

Game Packs

1. Parenthood

Great pack! Adds so much depth to family play and I am pretty much exclusively a family player, even when I play with supernatural sims. I love that parents and guardians can shape their children’s personalities. Build and Buy is so pretty and colourful! It screams family play! Love the kids school projects. Love being able to ground kids and put them on time out, disciplining and encouraging them and even ordering them to do things.

2. Vampires

I looove playing with supernatural sims! In general I prefer witches and wizards and magic to vampires but this is just a solid pack. Build and Buy is beautiful and allows you to create unique gothic and historical buildings. CAS is very cool too! Forgotton Hollow is gorgeous. I absolutely love the look of it! I want to live their! I don’t care how creepy it is. The vampire powers system is so good and gives you a great goal to work towards. I get such a thrill using powers on and biting other sims at night. It looks so spooky! Super speed is so useful! And I love creating vampire clubs and having them have epic looking vampire duals, letting them spar and train eachother and turn other sims into slaves or vampires or vampire slaves! Much darker than the other games. I just wish kids could have vampire powers and have a vampire form.

3. Realm of Magic

I don’t know what it is but this game doesn’t seem as in depth as Vampires. It should but it somehow doesn’t. But it’s still a very good pack that satisfies my Potterhead needs well enough. You can create so many different types of spellcasters but I personally like going to the magic realm and learning all the spells and potions. It’s so fun duplicating yourself and setting sims on fire or conjuring a meal out of nowhere. Build and Buy is beautiful and duels are epic! I only wish kids could cast spells and it wasn’t so easy to learn all the spells and complete the aspirations.

4. Dine Out

A lot of people say this game is glitched and it does take, like a whole day to have a 3-course meal but I personally enjoy that. I like taking family or friend groups out to beautiful restaurants from the gallery on a Sunday and letting them socialise their all day while waiting for their meals and enjoying the atmosphere. I use this pack all the time. I love owning restaurants. I love choosing the menus and creating restaurants that reflect different cultures’ cuisine. Running one is really fun. It’s hard to get a balance, especially while starting out but with perks you can watch your restaurant thrive.

5. Strangerville

I played this through for the first time recently and I really enjoyed it! Much more than I thought I would. I love the possessed sims. They are so freaky. It’s a shame that it doesn’t feel like a game you’d want to play again but the world is nice.

6. Jungle Adventure

I confess. I entered a (I think it’s called a) temple for the first time at the end of last year. It took me forever to figure out how to get to one but when I finally did I found the game play a bit lackluster. But it’s a beautiful jungle-y world that is worth visiting for a vacation and exploring the culture is fun! Build and Buy is also amazing. And I liked adding the new cuisine to my restaurants.

7. Outdoor Retreat

I haven’t played this one in ages but I remember I had fun doing it. Basically, you could have a similar camping experience in Selvadorada or any other world. But it’s fun for the winter log cabins and if you’re looking for a more forest-y vibe.

8. Spa Day

Gorgeous Build and Buy! Worth it for that alone but I feel this pack could have been a stuff pack if you look at it compared to what we’re going to get in, say, Paranormal Stuff. Working on the wellness skill is cool. Teleporting is useful but a bit slow. I like having my sims go to a yoga class, meditate, get a massage and go to the sauna.

9. Star Wars: Journey to Batuu

I’ve seen like 2 Star Wars films and had no idea what was going on both times. Similarly, I was pretty confused while playing but I can’t deny I had fun completing the missions, fighting with lightsabers and chilling with my droid. I did get board after a while though. It doesn’t really fit in the game but I’m happy for Star Wars fans. I’d be estatic if they did a Harry Potter, Once Upon A Time or X-Men pack!

Stuff Packs

1. Kids Room

By far the best for me. You get so much stuff for kids. Love the addition of Voidcritters! The kids clothing is adorable and the Buy objects are incredible! Perfect for kids and creating unique rooms for them!

2. Toddler

Love the new toddler play equipment! It is so, so cute to watch them play. The CAS is so adorable as are the Buy objects. I have yet to use play dates but they sound great for my families!

3. Backyard

Love the water slide. My sims have so much fun on it. And the objects are great! Perfect for building a family garden. It makes me want to use the garden more in the sims.

4. Spooky

Not everyone’s favourite but I love spooky things (I was deprived of Halloween as a child!). I use it all the time to have spooky dress-up parties or for spooky night clubs or lounges. It’s the perfect thing to flesh out Spooky Day from Seasons.

5. Romantic Garden

I just think it’s pretty lol. CAS is really nice as are the buy items. The wishing well is fun and great to cheat with to bring back dead sims quickly, I recently discovered. There’s nothing more wonderful than going to a beautiful flowery garden at night with your sims couples.

6. Bowling Night

I find bowling pretty fun in the sims. It’s great for a night out with the family. I am biased because I love bowling with family on special occasions in real life. It’s great for sims birthdays and Build and Buy is so unique as is CAS.

7. My First Pet

Again, not everyone’s favourite but the items are freaking cute! Perfect for kids rooms and having a pet rodent is pretty cool as are the new CAS for Cats and Dogs. I wouldn’t be opposed to them expanding another pack like this was used to do in the future.

8. Luxury Party

I use the buffet table and the chocolate fountain all the damn time.

9. Perfect Patio

For the hot tub mainly! But the Buy items are great.

10. Cool Kitchen

I just love having my sims eat ice-cream on a Sunday. There are so many flavour combinations!

11. Movie Hangout

I love my sims having movie night with popcorn lol. And CAS and Build and Buy are pretty cool.

12. Vintage Glamour

CAS and Buy items are awesome. I love the vanity table and that kids can use it. The butler is useful but only a few of my sims live that kind of life.

13. Tiny Living

I was so disapointed when this pack was anounced but actually having a Tiny House comes with a lot of useful benefits. And Build and Buy and CAS are so pretty. Wish the furniture was tinier and the bed didn’t kill your sims all the time! I would actually like to use that bed!

14. Laundry Day

I was upset that simmers voted for this. It adds realism, so I’ll give it points for that.

15. Nifty Knitting

Again, I was upset that simmers voted for this but the Buy items are so colourful and pretty. Knitting can be kinda fun and some of the knittables are cute, especially the baby grows! Plopsy is a fun addition but I haven’t been able to make much money off of it.

16. Moschino

Love the update to photography. I use it with one fashion forward household. I hate CAS and Build and Buy.

17. Fitness

I never use the climbing wall but I like the wood design on the Buy items.

unpopular my hero opinions!!! waaa if u get offended they arent real ppl. and fyi this is one of my all time favorite animes.

1. todoroki isnt less cool now bc hes not the stoic asshole with no friends. the only reason yall think that is bc he gets so little screen time and time to shine bc when he does hes so much better then deku so they constantly dim his character down

2. todoroki would have made a more compelling and interesting and believable main character rather then deku.

3. deku was Never the underdog, he got all mights (the #1 heros) quirk Given to him for FREE. and all might favors him and gives him special treatment. and he gets away with everything. his family is super supportive. hes deadass not the underdog just bc he breaks his bones for a while. especially after season 2, underdog my ass

4. it makes zero sense that todorokis deep rooted issues and trauma got resolved with some words in a couple of episodes. meanwhile it takes bakugou 4 season to even consider changing his mindset on deku. even though bakugous whole issue is something he MADE UP in his head. again, todoroki getting done dirty

5. deku should not have beaten overhaul. when he went out to fight i literally rolled my eyes. sure the fight was impressive with stunning animation and sure he had eri. but ur telling me a freshman beat a villian with a quirk that allows him disassemble and reassemble matter which if you forgot what matter is it everything around you everything including the air.

6. todoroki and Bakugo werent in season 4 for much of it purely because of how popular they are and how much more people prefer them to Deku

23. the gentle arc was lame and made no sense especially bc of the roller coaster that was the overhaul arc. i understand that’s the point of it was so Deku realizes that not all villains are these horrible nasty people that are human too but like the placement was just so weird especially since it was before the endeavor and hawks arc it just made no sense to me at least. it just seem like another way to make the viewers think Deku is super cool main character. and once again he gets to defeat a villain all by himself... le sigh

I adore Bakugou and I adore his character and he is one of my favorite anime characters ever but He has no reason to be mad he has an awesome quirk he’s a prodigy at everything he does he has both his parents he’s wealthy he is well liked and popular where is the justification for his anger and I’m not saying that just because you have a nice life doesn’t mean you don’t have the right to be angry but this dude is yelling is mad all the time there’s issue with that. and as I stated previously his issue is something he made up in his head. he construed a narrative in his head who deku is.

29. endeavor does not deserve a redemption arc stop normalizing forgiving your abusers people don’t have to forgive their abusers no matter if they’re their parents. and choosing not to forgive them doesn’t mean that you’re holding onto this huge anger and it’s holding you back it just means you choose not to associate with them and to keep them away from you and I totally understand that Todoroki technically needs his father to teach him how to improve them but he doesn’t have to forgive him neither do his siblings they have every right to hold endeavor accountable for everything hes done!

YES HE IS his name is dr. Nash Krikta and hes part of the clandestine story

he starts out as the doctor (a surgeon mostly, specializing in prosthesis, ironically) aboard the old clandestine with his half-sister carrie, alicia and silas, a giant dragon named fenton, and the old captain rona

as a human person, nash is one of the youngest doctors to be assigned to an interstellar operation. he also has a heart valve condition that was never corrected, so its difficult for him to be as spacefaring as hed like to be. a direct consequence of that is that on a mission to a forested planet, a tree falls on nash and crushes his legs and traps him. silas offers to go and get help but the rest of the crew doesnt quite believe him, because nash wasnt supposed to be out there in the first place, and they think hes back on the ship already. they leave without him and abandon him there.

nash is found dead later by a group of rogue scientists who turn people into cyborgs. their end goal is experimentation on the limits of the human body being used as a battery/host for electronic limbs and things like that. the structural components of his body are built (brain is added onto, bones are replaced with metal replicas, etc) when hes taken from the facility by a woman from his past named Phoebe. shes an incredibly intelligent mechanical engineer who wants to bulid her Own army of cyborgs so she can overthrow the space government.

she gives nash back his consciousness (over which she has complete control) and a majority of his old memories, the most poignant of which is the one where silas left him alone to die in the woods. all he really wants after that is to kill the poor guy over a misunderstanding, which phoebe feeds into with no regrets, as long as he uses his doctor knowledge to help her build cyborgs. phoebe is the one who builds his goo arm and redoes his legs so that hes a little more stable, and adds the cool lights and tubes

he serves as a kind of sympathetic villain, and at one point uses his twin brother (a highly trained assassin) to go after silas for him, which ends up being one of the big plot points. he and his brother have a pretty strained relationship and when they eventually rescue nash from phoebe and get rid of her brainwash tech, nash is amenable to repairing the relationships. as a person (currently, as a cyborg) hes pretty serious and blunt, but in a gentle and understanding way. hes a good listener, hes not especially prone to violence, and is strikingly intelligent but bad at reading people in a non-medical setting. hes a good friend but also a very loyal follower and i love him very much

Part1: Hey! Here's the one that (a few weeks ago) talked about the book "Buliding the Yellow Wall - The Incredible Rise and Cult Appeal of Borussia Dortmund" written by Uli Hesse and you asked me whether I can recommend it or not. Now, I haven't finished it yet but read roughly three quarters of it and I would say, you should give it a try. It digs into the club's history.

Part2: Some surprising anecdotes are featured as well (like, I generally know a lot of the stories and enough about Dortmund's history but some stories still surprised me and I didn't know them beforehand). Obviously, some very prominent and well known matches are included as well, such as both Champions League finales, the cup finale in 1989 or the Champions League semi finale 2013 Part3: It highlights how important the fans truly are and (because the author is also familiar with the Premiere League) often mentions some differences between this club and a Premiere League club. The author doesn't directly mention it but this is my personal take away from this book (at least so far): Although Dortmund is obviously popular for the titles they've won, they're almost more popular for the matches where they didn't really win anything. Part4: This once again fits with the narrative you had on this tumblr during the weekend "some people wear the defeats like badges of honor" which is absolutely true and fits with the idea of the book. And while I read this book, I asked myself "How come people that love Dortmund and a Premiere League club have no problem with their club being owned by somebody (but not the club itself) and still frown upon Leipzig?" Part5: Back to the book. I'm not sure it's a "must read" or anything but I think it's entertaining. A bit nostalgic perhaps but if you like reading about football and support Dortmund, this is certainly a good book for you

Thank you for your review! I do think I’ll pick this up and give it a read when I have time. I guess it makes sense for there to be PL comparisons and some dwelling on nostalgia to make an overarching narrative that can appeal to more readers. The PL seems to be the football culture that is best understood by the most amount of people, especially in the Anglophone world.

It’s a good question you’re raising about Leipzig. I do think a lot of fans who identify as fans of both Borussia Dortmund and a PL club frown on Leipzig because they perceive it as part of BVB fan culture, which they want to participate in, but they don’t necessarily fully understand or immerse themselves in the culture it so it’s not something they think or care about outside of the BVB context. They like the romance of the fan-owned club but they don’t actually care deep down.

On the other side of things, I do think there are some key differences between general private ownership and Red Bull ownership. If you check out my “RB Leipzig” tag (back from when I actually tagged my posts lol) I’ve talked a bit about why RB Leipzig represents a uniquely bad scenario, more damaging than other cases of private ownership.

Gladiator Week: Favorite relation-ship(s)

@seyaryminamoto I either have too much to say or lazy. I think both.

Romantic relationships:

Sokkla, ofc. OTP one.

I love its slow burn development. It went realstic for both characters' personalities. It isn't perfect, but real. And multiple faced. All the stages and arcs they went throw were well-done and interesting, you can't get bored of this ship honestly. I love it. I always thought Sokkla was a healthy ship if you give it the right bulid up, cause I believed they match well. Gladiator is the first Sokkla fic I read, however.

Zuki. I think it's best round for Zuko to be just happy with a small loving family. I can't wait for him to meet Ursa. She would be horrific of what happen to him, but would be heartwarming to meet his family, especially his child.

Mai and Ruon Jian. Wow such great family. It's brilliant how you came up with it. You did great job too of Ruon Jian trying to get Mai attention, and matured a long the way. I'm gald it work so well.

Other relationships

I'll take this opportunity to go into more relationships and characterzations in Gladiator world, since there are too many interesting characters, dynamics and analytical materials. You can say I like Azula's and Sokka's dynamics with other characters too, may or may not be in a shipping way or may develop! :

Azula and Rui Shi. I was really fond of Ruizula for some time during reading Gladiator (still do though sometimes). I don't think he will make Azula feels the way she feels about Sokka. Her feelings toward Sokka are special. But Rui Shi in general is about Protection™. Azula trusts Rui Shi, and Rui Shi wants and will -if can- protect her equally physically and emotionally. When Sokka hurts Azula in ch.27, her tears broke his heart and kept this event secret from anyone and Azula noticed this, he even told her she can confess to him what bothers her earlier if he can help, then Azula ofc brushed him off but was thankful to him. And I think this is enough. If Ozai forced Azula to choose a partner if things developed differently, she may choose Rui Shi. He may or may not had developed romantic feelings for her at that time. I imagine he would be dumbfound if Azula asked him out lol. Though he may accept Azula's porposal out of obligation. There are terrible suitors all over the place, and she choose him out of all these people and he doesn't want to hurt her. If they got married, he will make sure she follows his safety conditions more often than not, he wouldn't settled down when Azula refuse, argue back or brush him off. "You're not only my princess but my also wife now, I must ensure your safety!" Azula might be annoyed by his attitude lol

Azula and Lu Ten. It's a ship (or?) I think it's great and balanced relationship. He's a person Azula has special feelings for too. I think they're cute. I may draw art for them sitting side by side and Lu Ten listens to little Azula's talks.

Azula, Mai and Ty Lee. I love them in the show and I love them more in your story. But honestly I personally dislike Ty Lee, always have, cute girls with big eyes were never my thing. I hate to see her shipped with Azula simply due to incompatibility. But I like her and their relationship slightly better in Gladiator because she's more genuine. My favorite Azula-Mai-Ty Lee actively is when they met in the Palace in the first chapters and then their entire journey searching for Sokka a gladiator.

Azula and Toph. I talked about this before. I think it's everyone favorite Gladiator BrOTP.

Sokka and Toph. I'm very happy Sokka had at least one of the Avatar Team in the main storyline to interact with more often. Toph always gets the best of Sokka, and poor Sokka can't argue back especially when she teases him about Azula. Though, Toph gets in Azula's bad side immediately but isn't even scared, opposite, she's in fact become more amused xD. And this made the whole thing incredibly enjoyable to me!

Sokka and Zuko. The ultimate BrOTP in this story and OTP in another story. My favorite intercation of them when they met for the second time in Mai's house. Sokka teasing and mocking Zuko, and Zuko lose his temper and challenging him to a sword fight, before Azula kick both their asses, it was great.

Sokka and his father-in-law, Ozai. Their intercations in Gladiator are gold. It's either fucking hilarious or deadly serious, there's no in between. I think Ozai finds Sokka slightly interesting, he even said he's the perfect warrior for Azula (if I remember correctly), and I think he's low key approve of their relationship; he joked about Azula marrying him, if only Sokka wasn't a water tribe "slave". Oh Ozai you don't know.

Toxic relationships

Azula and Kuan. Hahah, ok it's toxic, I know. But I'm fan for fictional toxic relationship too. For one thing Kuan would be happy, Azula wouldn't. He sees her as trophy. Even making his life miserable wouldn't give Azula any amusement, well maybe some satisfaction. But overall he's just so hateful to her, that he, in fact, will make her life miserable.

Azula and Zhao. Toxic as well. I do not ship them. I like the tention and struggles Zhao brought with his arrival. The backstory and sort of dynamics he has with Azula are really interesting.

Azula and Ozai. Well, I can say this is my favorite toxic relationship. It's toxic and bizarre, and more complex than what people see in or out universe, or even Ozai and Azula themselves. Because the funny thing, I think, is that they've so much psychological power over the other. Maybe due to their isolation from the rest of the family that sort of dependence developed, I think. Though Ozai is less dependent on Azula for external validation for his sense of self than Azula is (or rather was). This role swap in Gladiator. Azula fits the perfect image he has in mind for her, he feels so proud and great about her, and in reflection, about himself as well. When the realization storm comes and he finds out she's trying to shake him and his teachings off and/or turned out to be more like someone he hated and felt lesser to for a lifetime and isn't him (big bro Iroh) he will shatter inside and respond with out rage.

Tbh I hated Ozai too much in Azula's flashback. It was very hard and disturbing to read. I think he deserves this ending for what he has done to her, that's why I think swap the roles this time would perfect lol.

But overall I think their dynamics are very well-excused. I think you're one of two writers I approved of their take on this sort relationship. I feel it's more canon than any other loving/altra abusive dad Ozai fics.
