seungcheol: would 100% try to make it seem like he just wants to cuddle nothing suspicious ha haha... then when ur both trying to go back to sleep he whispers "honestly i just had a nightmare" :/ poor baby let him cuddle u all night long!!!! on the other hand if u have a nightmare he is ur #1 protector. do u need the lights on do u need water do u wanna talk? oh u just want to cuddle? HE CAN DO THAT

jeonghan: it happens in the middle of the night and it is the faintest of movement from him because he doesn't want to wake you but he makes sure you're right next to him and he pulls you in closer and eventually leaves a kiss on ur head just thankful u are there. but he'd tell u about it in passing the next morning acting like it wasnt anything so u dont worry :/ IM GONNA KMS and if its u with the nightmare you'd shake him awake and he'd ask u whats wrong in his sleepy voice but listen and talk to u however long u need to fall back asleep while cuddling u:/ f m l

hoshi: he'd wake you up in the middle of the night so u both could process what the nightmare meant and you'd probably lie in bed just talking about different things to get his mind off of it:( he'd be playing with your hand and muttering random things solely saved for sacred late night conversations and moments. ur the bigger spoon when u eventually go to sleep n cuddle. if u have the nightmare he'd try his best to listen to u but i think he'd be falling asleep 😅 however its like second nature for him and he gives u one of the best cuddles ever

mingyu: ok thing is u NORMALLLY cuddle with this man but the grip he has around u specifically after a nightmare (regardless of if u or he had it) is strong and secure and everything is suddenly right with the world as long as u are in his arms dksfjhdsdfj but it'd also go like "i had a dream ~this~ happened" and he would say "ok but logically that can't happen" ok thanks mingyu! big help! but he just wants to make sure ur okay anyway:/

seungkwan: he'd try his best to make u laugh if u woke him up after a nightmare :( like he'd get up and pretend to look under the bed start fighting an imaginary whatever in mid air and get mad ydfhgkfd "ok come out let me fight u" he'll have u laughing but also intently listening to whatever nightmare u had bec he cares :( if he had a nightmare he'd wake you up also n he might be crying :( he'd be talking about it and he'd pull u into his arms while just talking about it. just be there for him and tell him its gonna be ok :( kwannnieeeeeee :(

FOR REAL THOUGH OKAY I wasn't here back in 2020 but even as late as 2022 looking for Gonta playlists can still be a bit of a nightmare. I always point out Boys Will Be Bugs because thats honestly the most egregious one (tldr soft cavetown song with bug imagery does not actually fit gonta because it's about growing up around toxic masculinity which Gonta doesn't really deal with) But there are some others...

I get the temptation to put bug themed songs on there but some just dont fit him at all!! and they never go past surface level! I understand not everyone can be as insane about gonta as we are but,, cries,,, I just want to think about him seriously

BRAZIL RACE RECAP

FP1

I don’t like Sprint weekends, or let’s put it this way, I like the extra race and all… what I don’t like is the fact there’s only one practice. Only 60 min to try different set ups and paces.

Red Bull and McLaren risked it and didn’t try qualy pace, it paid off for them seeing the results.

QUALIFY

Not too many surprises in Q1 and Q2 honestly.

What a Q3 tho, everyone waiting until they had enough time for one lap and then half of them not having a good lap time because of the weather changing. And this made so that Stroll got a P3 !!!!

RACE

The race didn’t start really well for us Ferrari fans. Charles was OUT on the formation lap, after everything he did and managed (saved a new set of Softs for the race) he had a good chance to be on the podium.

A pretty bad start from the two Astons gave Norris and Hamilton the chance to pass and go P2 and P3.

The accident at Turn 1 between the two Haas and Albon was shocking and created a lot of damages to not only Albon and Magnussen (OUT) but also to Piastri and Ricciardo who had to pit and would have had to retire the car had it not been for the RED FLAG.

After the restart the race setteled to be honest, not too many changes in positions except for the two Mercedes. Like we saw yesterday in the Sprint they attacked in the first few laps but then lost all power after 15/20 laps and were left fighting for their lives.

Alonso still surprises me (I know I shouldn’t be) the fight it’s Perez in the last few laps was AMAZING !

I dont even know what Sainz was doing, he didn’t do anything.

I know technically that you’ve put a pause on repeat this story au BUT…I just got hit with a particular delicious thought…soooo the latest Stanley that Narrator is helping along when Stanley and Co come to get Narrator (pending nickname is Stanford for now) is a particular brand of stubbornness that can rival the other Stanleys - he’s petty, full of spite, and quite fecking done with this shite. It doesn’t help that his own narrator (Narraford) is equally spiteful of his wayward protagonist. (1/???)

(2/??) Building on ur post from before that mentioned the escape pod only fitting 2 ppl at a time, Stan somehow convinces Narraford to comply taking Stanford and freeing them. How? Weeeelll the thing is they both loved pushing each other’s buttons (lol). Stanfords whole deal is that he wasn’t happy with the freedom ending bc he wants to find out WHY the facility is built, who trapped him there, were his co-workers/memories real? And Narraford is fecking upset that his protagonist keeps going off the irrelevant path to try and find more answers, why can’t he just be happy escaping and finding freedom??? He doesn’t NEED to find out the mystery of the office, that’s not the point of the story Stanford!! (3/??) then what was the point? Stan asks, gently. Why write this ending for the protagonist if he doesn’t want it? And that stumps Narraford for a moment. For all his blustering about how perfect his Parable was, what was the point if the audience he wrote it for wasn’t too happy with it? Granted this should be taken with a grain of salt BUT this moment of reflection is just enough for Stan to continue - Stanford just wanted to solve the mystery. He wanted to know what the Parable is. That didn’t sound like someone who isn’t following the story out of spite, doesn’t it? (4/??) in fact he sounds pretty invested in the story! Stan concludes. (Meanwhile Stanford is trying his very best to not strangle - or at least slap a hand over the other’s mouth - bc that was true but he didn’t have to say it/sign it godammit!!!) and Narraford would hate to admit it but they both shared a hunger to know. That was one thing binding them together, for all of their animosity (fun fact: their fav ending is Countdown. Don’t judge me). Like, he still thinks his protagonist is a brat and Stanford hates Narrafords guts but the curiosity of a new ending has Narraford hooked, so in the end he reluctantly agrees to come with Stanford on the first escape pod flight (5/5) i have some other brain worms about them but long story short I went ‘wouldn’t it be funny if they disliked each other but didn’t want anyone else bc they’re at least familiar with each other’ and turned it into a prompt thing (that being said it is by no means of trying to write ur story!! I thought it would be fun to submit a Stanley lol)

no no this is great! and it's a really good read on a narrator and stanley relationship, in that they still NEED each other and dont want anybody else, which is such a fixed thing in the Parable. like all the other narrators we've struggled with so far either tried to really push the idea they DONT need stanley or they just abuse their connection to the point where that need is.... like, not the healthy choice.

it's REALLY HARD to convince a narrator to consider his protagonist's own needs and thoughts but honestly if anyone could do it, it would be Stan. I love him SO much.

and honestly I have no issue with you making the "last" stanley and narrator in the iteration hell, I had some ideas but they were pretty vague at best, mostly a matter of "the Narrator is going to VERY MUCH BE A POWERHOUSE at the point just to make this iteration realize he uh. should probably give them half a second to talk".

I also think theres a hilarity in finally giving this one the name Stanford, since he's endlessly curious and picking fights with beings much more powerful with him because he needs to know all the things. Alright Stanford Pines. we're making all these stanleys watch Gravity Falls later to point and laugh

stella maris reading log #1

its about damn time i start noting down how i feel when i read what i read. hell yeah. hopefully this makes me a better writer.

spoilers not really about the plot (bc honestly is there even a plot in the sense of a plot) but more about the language below the cut woooooo

tldr: book cool. writing insane. wtf. wtf. wtf. head ouchie. 越级打怪的后果就是头晕脑转 (dizziness is the consequence of attempting to read beyond my level). ooga booga man talk abt english

reading stella maris is so interesting because im just sitting here wondering like. how the FUCK did mccarthy accumulate all this knowledge about a variety of very distinct fields. my brain hurts. this is so much information. im learning nothing and learning everything at the same time. how the man managed to learn all this stuff and how he managed to put it together like this puzzle me equally intensely. its one thing to acquire knowledge. its a whole other thing to convey it in language so dense with information but also character. like, not to be that guy, but when osc does his infodumps i think to myself okay old man lets get you to bed. every time alicia opens her mouth i confront my intellectual inferiority and contemplate the meaning of life because it is alicia talking.

not to mention what the FUCK alicia. if only you’d have KNOWN. EUGH. WHAT. WHAT. WHAT.

my head hurts. the reason why im writing instead of reading is because ive already reached my reading breaking point where my eyes glaze over and the words go in one and out the other. its only been two hours. difficult language i can handle fine, verbosity is fine, i inhaled the ender stuff and only took breaks when osc pissed me off, but stella maris is information overload in a way that i’ve never experienced before. im like, texting three separate people all the time. oh i should vet this w my math guy. i need to show this to my psych classmate. this has to go to my orthopedics bestie.

i started this book saw the page number and went oh sure. its half the length of the passenger. the style means that it’ll contain less words overall too. i should be able to finish this on a three hour hsr ride. WRONG. i CANT. it’s TOO DIFFICULT. im running into roadblocks very similar to what i felt when i read the passenger: dont know place/name/context/big word. except im finding stella maris to be even more difficult because unlike some nautical jargon or random place in the midwestern usa that i can just look up, i cant. i think its impossible to even begin to comprehend all this math.

that’s definitely part of the charm of stella maris. the format of audio transcripts creates a much more intimate connection between the characters and the reader. the target demographic of this novel, though niche, is definitely not as niche as to comprise only of genius mathematicians with a burning passion for music and a hatred of psychology. the reader might be a master in one of these fields, but alicia outsmarts them in it along with all others. viewed through this lens, the reader is the doctor. the reader is the one who converses with alicia, trying their best to piece together a mind that is so extraordinarily genius and extraordinarily tormented. it’s a position of emotional significance. the reader sits through these audio recordings because they want to understand alicia. and to understand alicia is to love her. (this is a certified when i truly understand my enemy i love him moment)

all of that sits in stark contrast to western’s narration in the passenger.

i wrote an entire paragraph but tumblr fucking ate it. im pissed. its ok. for love i’ll write it again.

western’s narration is detached. it’s impersonal. mccarthy’s clinical and direct use of language alienates the viewer and prevents the formation of any sincere rapport, allowing only mild sympathy for western’s continued suffering. the reader is merely an observer, piecing together the life of a strange, curious creature through inference and deduction. nor is the reader meant to empathize with him. he’s the one who chose to abandon alicia, the one reckless enough to chose race car driving over his degree, and therefore the one who shoulders alone the responsibility of alicia’s death—or so he thinks. in a sense, because western is comparatively lucid, the detached narration becomes almost a punishment for the guilt he’s assigned to himself. he’s not the one in the mental asylum, afterall.

its interesting to me how mccarthy presents this duo to the audience. i have many Thoughts on alicia’s sexuality and stuff but i should finish the book before i synthesize those thoughts. anyway. thanks for reading 👍

Blog Info (Rules and Such)

First off, apologies for how rough this is...I’m not very good at this kind of thing. And honestly, I’m pretty chill.

Basic Info

This blog is an 18+, Multiverse, Multimuse OC Blog with a few select canon characters from other blogs. I have many characters that I’ve developed for more than half my life at this point.

The main Universe of this blog is a story I’ve written (on paper, sorry you can’t read it). And while it will be referenced regularly, very little interaction will happen there.

I interact with many fandoms, though primarily Pokemon, Helluva Boss/Hazbin Hotel, and Sonic.

And last, I am 99.9% mobile bound. I just find it easier, honestly. And because I can use it at the same time as doing just about anything else. As such, trimming is not exactly easy for me.

Rules

Do not Follow or Interact if you are under the age of 18. If you do and I find out, you will be blocked. This is a heavily nsfw blog, both for dark themes and smut. I tag things and will often readmore when I feel like I should, but I dont like the idea of minors even potentially seeing it.

The above does also include intermittent reblogging of NSFW art, though mostly artistic nudity and such. Often sensual rather than outright sexual...but sometimes the latter if I particularly enjoy a piece.

I am Selective but not mutual exclusive. I’m willing to give just about anybody a chance, but I do have limits and standards. And I do favor Mutuals over non-mutuals, as well as anyone I consider a close friend. I most often dont follow someone as a means to keep my dash clean.

I do block on site anything that even remotely seems like a bot. Super weird names, no icons alongside an empty blog. I think at this point most of us readily recognize them. So if you are interested in following, make sure you do at least the basic steps to show you are a real person.

I am pretty chill, and there’s nothing that really bothers me trigger wise. However, like many, I have no interest in drama and callouts. Keep me out of your problems, I’m here to have fun. And as someone who has suffered a lot because of false accusations and bandwagon culture...I just want to do what I do.

I can write anywhere from one liners to multi para, I do my best to match when the mood sets in. I’ll do any sort of threads, and have basically no lines (outside the obvious) to what kind of content might be involved. Smut, light violence (i.e. pokemon grade), fluffy threads, and crack are the most prominent.

I try my best to respond quickly, but muse comes and goes. I’ll draft when I dont reply, and as long as a random hiatus doesnt hit me, I should reply in a relatively good time. Please don’t bother me too much about it.

Unless otherwise specified, like something tagged for someone specific. Any ic post is free to be responded to.

I accept IMs, but only for OOC. And I don’t rp on Discord...the format just burns my brain out.

Not sure if there’s much else, rules wise that I can think of. Like I said, I’m not good at this, and I’m chill.

A little bit of mun stuff

I go by Raven, though I also accept Eclipse and Dusk as names. I am a 30+ mun, Cis-male, homosexual and mixed-ethnicity between Caucasian and Native American (a near 50/50 split).

I am autistic, have various forms of anxiety and depression, and adhd. I try my best to do what I can here, but it’s not the easiest sometimes. I have been known to go on long hiatuses and lose muses entirely for periods of time. It’s not on anyone but myself when that kind of thing happens.

I’ll be working on getting my characters moved to Posts so that I can link them better, since I know many people are mobile these days, and browser page links are iffy at best. mid season review? idk for some reason i thought ep. 28 was the midpoint even though it’s 48 episodes 🤡

anyways, i’m still enjoying it so far! here are some thoughts

the characters are very much.. characters. particularly otoya and nago, i find both are very over the top when it comes to what they say and how they deliver it. it’s entertaining, though i’d probably get annoyed with it if i encountered it in real life lol.

honestly, i don’t really remember what people think of kiva, but i’ve enjoyed the love triangle so far. like is it cringe sometimes? yeah. but i just find it so amusing and i like the drama.

i knew the power-up form debuted kind of early (for rider standards) but i wasn’t expecting it this soon. honestly, the new little cgi dragon’s voice is a bit grating :/

i’m super confused about yuri/otoya and like.. i get the impression wataru and megumi are not siblings, so i wonder what happened between them. also who is wataru’s mom cause isn’t he half fangire? IS IT MAYA?!?! haha

also was not expecting mio to be introduced this early. it was kind of subtle, at first i didn’t even recognize her lol. i know what happens to her in the end cause i made gifs of it, but i’m interested to see how her character progresses.

I'm so excited for the news of a new sk8 season you have no idea 😭 I really thought we'd be getting a movie at best

I scribbled down a bunch of my thoughts and hopes for season 2 so read on if you're interested! (Warning, very long, and half of that is bc i ramble about renga lolol)

My god i can actually make a list of things id love to see in Season 2 and not be like "no dont do that bc then youre gonna get your hopes up that there will even be a s2" but its actually happening holy shit lol ok anyways:

1. ARREST ADAM. IM NOT FUKN PLAYING LOL GET HIS ASS ARRESTED AND CHARGED FOR SUMTHIN JESUS LORD. Literally my only major criticism with the show is that Adam didnt go to prison by the end of the season so it HAS to fuckin happen this time. I want that red haired investigator lady to win so bad please catch his ass.

2. Ever since this idea was planted in my head, I haven't been able to stop thinking about it, but I want the sk8 gang to travel! Like not just to a hot springs like I want them to travel and skate across Japan and even elsewhere (bonus points if we somehow get Renga in Canada), I think the change of scenery would be really interesting, especially if they went somewhere like Tokyo. I'm just a sucker for friends traveling arcs in general, and this also could go hand in hand with my next point:

3. I think it would be interesting if "S" died out at some point this season, whether through Adam arrest (🤞) or bc of the aforementioned traveling we just dont see much of "S" this series, or if the characters simply grow out of "S" naturally (honestly the one I'd most prefer.) I think it would be another good ride home to the central theme of the show about doing things you like bc they're fun and not bc of any clout or approval ranking.

And honestly, I think we've explored as much of "S" as we could while keeping it interesting. Not to say there shouldn't be more competing, that's like half the show lol, but i think the location of "S" will start to get a little repetitive after a while. This is why going somewhere like Tokyo would be a perfect refresh of the format, bc you can skate in new locations with different types of people than the typical underground flamboyancy of "S" (as wonderful as it is.)

4. Matchablossom past!🍵🌸 I'd love to see it, this is definitely not the ship that receives the most of my love in the show but I do still enjoy watching them, so id love to get some nice meat to their relationship for me to keep sinking into (〃^∇^)ﾉ

5. It was hinted that Koyomi would become a great skater in due time and I'd love to see that realized! I think she'd make a fun addition to the sk8 gang and personally I think Koyomi and Miyas personalities and snark levels would make for the funniest fucking comedy I just, I can hear their mean spirited chaotic banter from back here.

I know some people like to think they'd be wholesome friends but like,,,,, they're both little shits,, what you think you put them together and they'll just. Get along?? I mean maybe, but for me it sounds funnier if they just cant stand each others guts but are also, hilariously enough, inseparable (which maybe is too similar to matchablossoms shtick but I feel like that's more married couple bickering than anything so I feel like it'd be different enough.) Like they're both little shits but they're little shits in different fonts so they're still little shits to eachother god give it to me.

6. ALSO LITTLE BROTHER MIYA BIG BROTHER REKI PLS ITS THE CUTEST THING IN THE WORLD TO ME I WANNA SEE MORE OF IT

7. I also want to know more about Reki's friend that stopped skating (and Reki's past in general), and I wouldn't even mind that skate friend temporarily returning to Reki's life and giving Langa certain... complicated feelings >:)

8. Obviously wanna know more about Langa's past as well. Did he have any family on his dad's side? How did his dad die? Are we gonna see more flashbacks/scenes where the Japanese voice actor is trying his damndest to sound like he's fluent in English? Will I have to be subject to hearing that once more? Who's to say.

(ok, wouldn't it be so cool tho if they did have full scenes where langa is speaking english, but they went and got the english voice actor to do the lines??? I feel like that would be so cool and his voice is so similar to the japanese va that it wouldn't even be jarring switching back and forth)

((i dont know anything about how voice actor laws work or if this is at all possible but a girl can dream lolol))

i was gonna say i can die happy but thats a lie if i die i cant watch season 2 and it might not be out till at least late next year oh god i have to NOT DIE TILL THEN OMG ILL BE SO MAD

OKAY actually on that topic, last note, hopes for Renga:

10. I don't want Reki and Langa to get in another big fight again like last season. Not that there was anything wrong with their s1 fight as a story device, bc I reaaally liked that conflict. It made sense with their characters and gave them both a bit of introspection on who they are as people, and who they are to eachother, and what the other truly means to them, and it ultimately brought them closer together. I just want that to stay true this season.

And I guess I shouldn't say fight, they're totally allowed to get into arguments and maybe even intense ones (as cute as their reunion was, they clearly didn't actually talk about everything that was bothering them, and I couldn't tell if that was anime being anime or teenagers being teenagers. Maybe both?)

I just don't want them to be made to break up again. Conflict between them is fine (it could even be spicy depending on the context >:3c) but I don't want it to drastically sever their connection like last time. It would be nice if it's like: "Okay, this is clearly a problem, and I am upset, but I now know that ghosting you isn't the answer, we have a true bond somewhere here, and I think we can get through this" I am not a script writer lol but you know, show a bit of growth! It would be lovely to see.

And hehe definitely self-indulgent but this point could actually be swayed for me if the situation is an explosion of jealousy and unacknowledged more-than-platonic feelings, creating a different kind of emotional tension than last conflict, where its less about self esteem issues, inadequacy and betrayal, and more of: "I might be in love with him, but I cant tell him bc I honestly don't even understand my feelings myself, and that stresses me out, and now were both stressed out and we don't know why bc were dumb teenagers who don't know how to communicate our feelings.😭"

lol obviously this^ is very dependent on of course there actually being a romantic storyline between the two, which like, actually it typing out with words as if its a possibility.... i can practically see the clown nose and wig materializing on my desk ready for me to put on lol i refuse to entertain that it's a possibility for my own sanity.

If there's anything I for sure want to see as their relationship develops, it's learning how to communicate, cause I still think there's a few things left unsaid between them (esp on Rekis part, things that Langa might like to at least be aware of?)

I HAVE RETURNED WITH SEASON 11 THOUGHTS. yes. i finally stopped what was a completely unprompted several week long procrastination for no reason at all.

ok first things first: not a fan of the 11 minute episode format!!!! i want my b plots back!!!!!!! its not fine but whatever i'll survive. number two this season was a little all over the place and definitely couldve benefited from being two separate seasons just because the first and second halves are so entirely disconnected from each other but its not the end of the world.

it is now time to talk about one of my most favorite things about ninjago ever: namely, the COMPLETELY INCOMPREHENSIBLE TIMELINE. following in the footsteps of the last writers, whoever has taken the reigns this season has carried on the age old tradition of sticking dates onto the ninjago timeline that make it more convoluted than beforehand. its wonderful. its delightful. i dont think ive ever seen a messier timeline in any piece of media in my entire life. the timeline was broken from the literal beginning between lloyd's existence & wu's flashback to garmadon getting banished to the underworld or whatever and it Just Got Worse. (no for real that entire thing is so terribly funny its like. ok garmadon got banished to the underworld when they were both presumably young adults maybe (???) so logically lloyd had to have been born sometime around there but when we meet him lloyd is probably like somewhere from 8-13 years old and wu and garmadon and misako are Very Old. and its just. so funny. its so funny. THAT ASIDE)

so back to the latest edits to the timeline. evil snake lady claims that wu betrayed her thousands of years ago. so wu is thousands of years old, but is also presumably somewhere around kai and nya's parents' ages given that they all seemed to be young adults at the time. which was also in ancient ninjago times and also like 50 years ago max. does it make sense? no of course not its the ninjago timeline. it gets even better though, because we are now introduced to the concept that … allegedly. there was a tenuous peace that existed for millenia between the serpentine and humans pre-wu & garmadon almost screwing that over so bad. and we can reasonably assume that the serpentine were created along with the rest of ninjago, so …… did the fsm just create garmadon & wu a few thousand years after chilling out in ninjago for a while? who knows. least of all me.

actually speaking of the first spinjitzu master i want to complain for a minute because i hate this guy. frankly i dont think he was a very good dad. i dont even think he was a mediocre dad. in fact i think he was a pretty crappy parent. like. like okay evidence number one: look at his children. the amount of mental illness there is unreal. you cannot look at wu and garmadon and tell me that the fsm was any sort of decent at parenting. like… ok im 99.9% sure they did not have a mom, which would imply that the fsm created them himself. which would FURTHER imply that, for some completely and entirely incomprehensible reason, he gave garmadon mostly (??? im still really unclear on this but we've gone through that) oni blood and wu mostly (??? see above) dragon blood. instead of, yknow, giving them half and half. to get more clear: he specifically screwed over garmadon for no reason. also it should be noted that even after wu and garmadon have found out that the evil snake lady is evil and 10000% intends to use spinjitzu to kill everybody they still dont tell the fsm about any of it because they fear his reaction more than they do the consequences of this. they go behind his back and use an expressly forbidden technique to clean up this mess because, again, they fear his reaction more than any of the other consequences. i do not think he was a good parent at all.

back in like season 2 garmadon says that wu was always the fsm's favorite and honestly i believe it given whatever the heck is going on with their blood, but its quite unfortunate that even the favored son still got massively screwed over by the fsm because said fsm SUCKS and is a TERRIBLE PARENT. like at some undefined point prior to the anacondrai drama the fsm just up and leaves for no reason in particular and like. wow. the guy really did just make one of his sons evil by default and then when it got worse he ditched and and dumped the responsibility of cleaning that up onto his younger son, thereby forcing him to send his brother to hell and traumatizing him for life. okay. thanks first spinjitzu master. and if that wasnt enough he then drops back in 50000 years later to try to drag lloyd off to who knows where and then immediately ditches again. his entire lineage is just mental illness: the family. i dont think that the fsm was like. actively trying to be an atrocious parent or anything but i do firmly believe he was grossly neglecting his duties as a father and was in general incredibly distant and unhelpful and probably spent more time getting mad at his children than anything else. tldr i hate the first spinjitzu master. i hate him so much.

anyways lets talk about wu for a minute while we're on the topic. i think its incredibly interesting that he wanted to 1) turn himself into snake lady whose name escapes me at the moment despite the fact that its pretty clear she wouldnt have stopped at just getting back at him and 2) go by himself to save zane when he had absolutely no way of getting home and knew it. frankly i would not be surprised if there was some amount of suicidal ideation / martyr complex going on there. in other news i am SO delighted 1) we got a garmadon and wu flashback. huge win for tumblr user iratusmus and 2) wu got to be the bad influence this time because that is so terribly funny. i think wu should want to do things he's not allowed to do more often. i support it. also, tangentially related: i know john mulaney is cancelled now or whatever but this is really just wu in a nutshell

and since i've already mentioned him, lets go ahead and talk about zane for a minute. i am…….. honestly incredibly disappointed with ice emperor zane like. the biggest problem here is that they didnt really do anything interesting with it - its never really relevant that its zane specifically who has become the ice emperor outside of 1) elemental power and 2) so that we can turn him to our side. like… it doesnt really have any connection to his past or even like. okay earlier in the season while lloyd, nya, and zane are trying to steal the other forbidden scroll of spinjitzu (im going to talk about that briefly in a second but we'll hold off on it for a minute) they come across a mirror that shows the onlooker's worst fears - lloyd's is becoming lord garmadon, nya's is failure/never amounting to anything in life, and zane's is losing his humanity. so you'd think that in an arc where zane gets corrupted they'd try it play into that but…. no. because even if the ninjago writers are new, it wouldnt be ninjago if we didn't set up a million concepts that couldve been really interesting if they had been properly explored and then we drop all of that to take the most boring route humanly possible. thank you, ninjago writers.

brief commentary on the forbidden scrolls of spinjitzu: i am SO confused on 1) why the fsm wrote them down. like bestie if you, specifically, are the one who forbade this, WHY ARE YOU WRITING IT DOWN!!!!!!!!! I HATE YOU 2) how sticking them on a staff gives you an incredible amount of power. not even like. reading it or something. doing what it says on the writing. just the concept of holding it gives you power. hello ? 3) why it can banish people to the never realm if used in a certain way. they didnt even try to explain this one at all and im so confused about it. also, if it can banish people to the never realm, why cant it transport people across other realms? many questions, no answers.

ok back to this season's villains: lets talk about SNAKE LADY! in all honesty i dont have that much to say shes kinda a mid villain but at least shes a girlboss so i'll take what i can get. motivations are kind of lacking but whatever. i do really wish the writers would commit on whether or not its valid to be racist to serpentine. as a general rule im very much against demonizing an entire species/race/family as a result of "youre the children of [x] so you are born horrible and anybody who treats you poorly because of that is right" bc it reeks of racism and is incredibly supportive of unfounded prejudice and so on and so forth but like. ok if youre going to do that. the least you can do is STICK WITH IT!!!!!!! its literally like "ohhh the serpentine are evil" "ohhhhh condemning all the serpentine by virtue of their blood is actually kind of racist!" "ohhhhhh wu was so stupid for trusting that snake he shouldve been racist from the start" MAKE UP YOUR MIND. PLEASE. im not asking for much.

i also didnt like how they kind of tried to give zane's power to nya its like. ….. ok look i get it we've all watched atla if you can control water logically you should be able to control ice. HOWEVER. since you have decided that these are two separate elements you need to KEEP it that way because otherwise whats the point of having zane's power if nya is just going to take it. they didnt quite go that far but they were sort of angling for it and i dont like it. please give the women something of their own to do instead of just taking each other's (see: pixal becoming samurai x (actually unrelated but technically shouldnt it be ronin x given that nya/pixal dont serve a feudal master) instead of making up her own thing to do) or taking the men's (whatever the heck was going on this season with nya and ice). but whatever.

miscellaneous thoughts

akita is cool i support wolfgirls. i dont really have any deeper thoughts on her than this but i would like to see her again

didnt like how they brought back the giant hairy eyeball for a useless filler episode and had pixal beat it completely by herself, thereby cheapening the entirety of season 5 (or whatever season it was)

and. of course. this wouldnt be a proper season 11 review if i didnt talk about the literal most important part of the entire thing. that is right.

so yeah. season couldve been better but honestly super saiyan jay makes up for everything wrong the ninjago writers have ever done

b-plots how i miss you... hate hate hate that the 11 minute episode is default now in animation, it works well for some shows (having watched all of SU through - yeah it works, but only really well for shows with very specific scopes, and ninjago is nothing BUT vastly outsizing its own scope)... having just finished rewatching s1 all in one sitting holy crap does the b-plot do so much heavy lifting for making the story actually work. s1 is. a mess. but it genuinely does so much better at foreshadowing than i expected and the ability to juggle multiple plot points in a single episode is SUCH a loss for the later seasons... the netflix season chopper curse my beloathed. nothing else to say there we both know we've experienced vld

yes!!! kudos to the team for fuckin it up even worse than archie sonic i love it to bits. we've got time loops we've got alternate realities we've got immortal(ish) old guys with fucky aging and a kid with even fuckier aging and retconned in hereditary superpowers. we've got every possible "what the fuck thats not how that works-" moment imaginable and it's stunning. everything about wu and garmadon's childhood (if you can call the implied thousands of years where they looked like kids/teenagers that) is fascinating to me and i am thrilled to find out how the spinjitzu brothers books fuck it up even more. the bad luck these guys gotta have for all their positive relationships dying out (humans :() and making all their enemies out of psuedo-immortal weirdos who can hold a hell of a grudge.

tangentially related yess obsessed with the FSM's pioneering fatherly shittiness. first dad worst dad. objectively better than if he was an actively good dad or was genuinely trying to harm his kids this is just what happens when god has zero positive role models. or role models at all. and deals with his complex feelings about his heritage with baby creation. idk the way they handle garmadon's morality is utterly deranged and i love to see them repeatedly shoot themselves in the foot trying to justify him being ~evil all along~ this honestly does more to explain why wu is. like that. than anything about garmadon adjfaksd. all this aside using this entire segment as my ref for my never-to-see-the-light-of-day spinjitzu bros fic thank you for having the wu and garmadon thoughts of all time <3

wu and zane.... i will never get over them. as previously mentioned i just finally finished rewatching s1 with Intent and ohhhh boy do i have infinite emotions over them and while 99% of it is extrapolation it is so incredibly sweet how much wu genuinely cared about zane and his lack of memory and how much he tries to comfort him. meanwhile all of that goes over zane's head bc he is. very bad at understanding his + others emotions at the time and most of the stuff wu is trying to help him with either hasn't registered or zane isnt even close to being able to put words to it much less internalize someone else's attempt to help. all this for wu to disappear on the brother acquisition mission for two weeks and come back to him being Completely Fine And Cool Cuz I'm A Robot Master :D. theres no way wu has any idea what a robot is in s1 and im living for it fuck the retcons. man's bewildered and his pseudo son (mark III) is Overcompensating.

my eternal inability to shut up about zane aside. all that to say wu's eagerness to make Terrible decisions in this part? stunning. the squandered potential of the ice emperor? i could complain about this for weeks. and have done so much to my discord friends chagrin. thank you for validating me AND reminding me to be infuriated. i will go read seven fics about it and have equally strong opinions about those (one day i will write the nature v nurture themed zane fic that lives in my brain and only contribute to this problem). uh. where was i going

LITERALLY YEAH?? ive never seen ANYONE bring up the complete nonsense of the staff and it's abilities WHY does it get magic cheatcodes to the ninjago multiverse. why did they not take the chance to make a joke about chima again. the world may never know

serpentine racism... once again the most common of kids media "everyone in this group is Evil bc we need punching bags" consequences and entirely unanswered. the early seasons imply the skulkins just integrated into everyday life and like half the snakes are just chilling... if you can accept the whole ass skeletons why are we still conflicted about pythor girlboss edition. tangentially: i am now obsessed w/ the idea of pixal stealing ronin's identity bc she was being pedantic about the definition of samurai. do it girl dude doesn't stand a chance.

THE ANIME EPISODE.... i have unwittingly entered the orbit of dragon ball fandom and i am SO excited to torture my brother who's a fan with this one it's such. it's so. it's beyond words. i've seen people hate on this and they are SO wrong this is exactly what ninjago has always been. utterly bonkers and doing whatever the hell they want.

recommended to me by @unfathomabletortoise , and I'm still rotating the themes and such of it around in my head. one that was on my mind this week was where your boyfriend lives literally inside your body. the like... "oh i'm so close to you, i'm with you all the time" but really you're not close at all you're just being used. but ALSO the intimacy of loving someone so much, physical affection as the closest substitute we have to unzipping someone else and living inside them... much to think about. as I said on my Twitter thread, I may recommend this collection to my queer scifi teacher from a few years back

mp100!! i just. really like this manga. i dont have many longering thoughts from this volume except just like excitement at its existence and god i love reigen and mob and this was fun to read even if i already watched the anime

Daniel Cabot Puts Down Roots by Cat Sebastian

i was about to say i thought i didnt have much to say about this one. but then i remembered that actually i do, i even started my brand new reading journal saying stuff about it: this was cute and sweet and low stakes! i am technically in the acknowledgements of this book by virtue of being in the author's writing discord server, which she mentions! I will say, there were a few too many [typos/apparent name mix ups/one instance where a character says "fifth disease" in a bit of dialogue which was clearly just meant to be a placeholder for an actual disease to add to the list] for me to fully overlook, so i got a little bit frutrated. doesnt take away from the good character work, but did give it a bit of an unfinished feeling

Uncommon Charm by Emily Bergslien & Kat Weaver

like the above this book is more quiet vignette and low stakes character work than plot-y plot, but this book just hit Perfectly for me. i think because i loved the narrator/pov character so much. i am gently shoving this novella into my bf's hands when i next see him.

I said last week that I had trouble sitting down and reading multiple stories from this in a row, but that was not a problem for me this time! as of writing i only have five stories left to read from this anthology, and those amount to less than 100 pages.

i've idenfitied a repeated theme (though not one present in even half the stories here) of several lady vampires presenting a sort of 'to defeat a predator you have to become one' rape-revenge sort of monster hunting fantasy. like i said, this is FAR from a uniting theme, but its an interesting motif. also several stories deal with very predatory vampires without being the above, and having read Dracula earlier this year i appreciate vampire fiction grappling with the themes of vampirism and sexual assault that were set up in the classics

Minami Anonx7 If it helps Literally everyone I have known ever has brought up that I sound like a literal cartoon mobster henchman every time I call people boss so i've just embraced it now fully. Everyone is Boss To Me as I sling my guns goofily to Get Da Coppers. But I SEE…. i've been playing through the yakuza games chronologically I’m currently watching through y4 right now but id like to watch dead souls afterwards. It is extremely funny though the idea of watching them completely ramshackled out of order. Anyways. 1) I personally would love to play the minami centric side game also + I literally cannot imagine it’s anymore embarrassing a thing to want then me daydreamng abt the side game id like to make for my yakuza OC and 2) SOOOOOOO true I love it when Nishida and Minami are like sort of a awful duo together also I admire your like notes about M construction. I haven’t given it much thought yet on how it actually works but that’s mostly bc I have family who work in construction so I make myself laugh thinking Majima has no idea what the hell he’s doing LOL but anyways real…… Idk if you've ever read it but there’s an awesome fic on ao3 where it’s basically about how Nishida was also a prisoner of the hole and this like sort of implied idea or like at least smth I saw someone bring up before in conjunction idea that “Whilst Minami tries to emulate Majima Nishida actually IS like Majima in a way and the result of that has made him jaded/heavily desensitised” which i think adds a really interesting layer to the Relationship to think abt ep if it were canon. So this is why Desperately desperately I need a M construction side game I need something to focus on the majima family outside of him and honestly especially on Nishida…… tangent but there is so much interesting potential w him I want to see it explored !!!!!! Last note here but have u seen Minami's scene in RGG online before? I just found an English translation of it today and it had me very biting and chewing over A) Minami getting legitimately upset when his fake accent was mocked, not bc it was a slight against HIM but against MAJIMA and B) the sort of self deprecating mention he makes of what good is he if he’s not strong enough / good at smth before it immediately gets pushed aside by him and C) the implication that Minami is genuinely attached to Kamurocho/wants to protect it. If u havent i can try and find the post I saw abt it but. Much to think about

also your point about Nishida is spot on. you don't keep the kind of man who trembles at every conversation he has for that many years without breaking him down and making him (comparatively) jaded in such a stressful line of work. on top of that, Majima literally tests this man like its some sort of divine Greek-mythos punishment put unto him by the gods..... he's absolutely jaded underneath that shaky deadpan stare. Nishida may never outwardly resemble Majima, persona or the genuine self, but he absolutely rubs off on him and influences him heavily. this is the kinda relationship most Gokudo in the series seem to have with their bosses when they're worth a damn, Saejima was ready to walk to the ends of the earth for his patriarch due to the positive impact he had on him, and Majima likewise for his boss, though moreso in the opposite direction. not wholly..... Majima's priority of strength begets some kind of twisted respect towards Shimano. I wonder if he lacks that respect for Sagawa, who as far as I remember never physically overpowers or threatens Majima except for when he's already down and weakened in some form.......? getting off track. point is Oyajis are very very influential to their precious boys, their Family will reflect them (personality, how he runs the joint, etc) regardless if they want it to or not. Majimemegoro has some baller fics exploring all this and it's a large part of what influences me today.....

Speaking of, i would love the title of that fic you've mentioned... i'm a little picky of which fanfic i'll give the time of day but Nishida also having experience with Anagura is tantalising. like that's so tragic.... that's so evil...... i'm sitting here wondering to myself if he was a survivor or.. yknow........ because no one else, in canon, "made it out" of Anagura alive. or, more specifically, no victims make it out of Anagura. Majima was always the exception. either option makes me sick to my stomach just thinking about it...... cause if he is another victim then the way Majima treats him is just.... and if he's not then is his constant dedication to him like a form of atonement....... oouuhhhrggg......... im going to hit the wall...........

Also, I have a question: Is Rodney in the Deity AU? What's he up to? He's kind of a background character in the show, honestly, even though I think he's interesting enough to have shown up way more than he did.

I also just watched the episode where LOVEMUFFIN crashes that dancing show Candace and Jeremy were on... and I've gotta say, maybe it should've been Can't Dance Jeremy, since apparently he can't dance? But Ferb can. Just call him Can Dance Fletcher.

Anyways, in that episode we get the epic scene where Heinz and Rodney accidentally dance together-I think that's pretty funny, and I wish it were more of a running gag, though it doesn't seem to come up again.

The thought: "I need to rewatch the entirety of Phineas and Ferb three times?? And I'm only half-way through my first re-watch" crossed my mind just a few minutes ago. It sounds odd but I'd imagine it's a common sentiment among fanfic 'rewrites'... so, relatable moment? Let me know.

nova i have a friend that literally always copies me😭 so im in a 4 person friend group, and she's always been kinda hostile and fake friendly towards me. she never looked at me when she's telling a story to the 4 of us or even 3 of us. like ever, she just looks at my 2 other friends. and im a 'if you do it to me, i'll do it to you too' kinda person so thats not helping at all. if its the 3/4 of us, she's this crazy loud kinda person. but if its just the 2 of us, she turns into this quiet mom-like kinda person. and she would CUT ME OFF when im talking?! idk which is the real her or which is her front face but its just very unsettling ig.

1. at the beginning of this year i downloaded a dating app bcs frankly im lonely lmao. and mind you all three of my friends all have bf. and this girl also downloaded the same dating app that i used and would always brag ab this guy that, this guy this. it was the first time where i was like 'umm... i dont know how i feel ab this... but i dont like it...'

2. i like to do a mini story time/haul/mental breakdown vlog on my private account right, but i have not done that in so long bcs well pandemic happens. and we all started to be friends around late 2020. so last year, i started to do those videos again but very rarely. this year though a lot happened and so i have more materials for my little private account audience lmao. then she started doing those stuff too w literally the same format. i didnt think of it at first bcs a lot of my friends does it too. until, i did this phone case haul/review thing bcs i just realized that i kept buying them for no reason (hoarding them🫣) and she did the same thing!!! like literally few hours after mine. this keeps happening to this day. idk why it bothers me sm but i does

though you didn’t talk much, he started to take a liking to you. too much of a liking. let’s just say that he had too many sleepless nights of thinking about his sexuality.

“(y/n), why don’t you talk? it’s kinda boring, ya know,” mikey asks. you shrug, not really having a real reason for being silent. but honestly, being quiet was nice. you didn’t have to get into any real drama or fights because you said something wrong since you literally don’t say anything.

“well, whatever. kenchin, wanna go get dorayaki?” the taller blond grunts in agreement.

“seeya, (y/n). meeting’s at 10 tonight.” the duo wave at you while they leave to go to terrorize some store with the sheer amount of dorayaki they were gonna buy.

you sigh. finally, some alone time. outside of school and touman, you really liked to sing. not really a loud belt, but more of a hum. you really like humming, it was nice. and it allowed you to use your voice for once since you also didn’t talk much at school.

it was currently only 5 pm, so you had a good four and a half hours until you had to show up to the shrine for the meeting. not like there was much for there to discuss, since there shouldn’t have been any big fights going on any soon.

9:45 pm. your fifth division was pretty boring, other than the fact that sanzu was being a little more talkative than usual, so you went over to the first division with chifuyu and hanagaki. they didn’t really care that you didn’t talk much, though they were curious about you.

“oh, (y/n)-san, hey! how are you?” you nod and smile, showing that you were in a better mood than usual. you point to him. most of touman knew your body language at this point.

“that’s good! i’m doing well too!” you charade a laugh and look over your shoulder to see your own captain looming over you. not menacingly, since he knew that you were unexplainably important to touman, but like he was calling you for a while and he was losing a bit of patience.

“(y/n), we have stuff to talk about; me, you, and haruchiyo.” you nod and wave a goodbye to the first divison while catching up with mucho.

“we need you to look into a few people, but that’ll be a physical job that haruchiyo’ll help you with.” you raise an eyebrow, skeptical of your captain’s plans. you wondered if mikey knew about this. nevertheless, you nodded along.

“show up at the warehouse near the convenience store oh the fifth block to the east from here. wednesday 9 pm sharp.” you nod along with your pink-haired vice-captain.

before you could get the chance to go back to chifuyu and hanagaki, the revving of motorbikes stopped you. everyone rushed into untidy lines by division. you spaced out for the majority of the meeting, safe to say.

wednesday, 8:58 pm.

you and sanzu both showed up at the warehouse that was mentioned the other night from your captain, though he was still nowhere to be seen. you look at your vice-captain, questioning if he knew anything. he was also quite quiet, so he simply shook his head “no” and continued to be on the lookout.

you ruffle your hair. you cut your hair pretty often, and pretty short too. i guess it gave some kind of illusion that you were a dude, which you were pretty sure that everyone in touman was convinced that you were [a dude].

“well, well, well, who’s this?” you hear an unfamiliar voice from behind you. you spin around to see a masked man who felt like they were 10 times your height. sanzu was also on high alert, hearing the voice.

you would never admit it, but you were trembling. absolutely terrified. was this an ambush??

“not gonna reply? alright, we’ll play this the hard way.” the man grabs your wrist and holds onto it hard. you were sure that it was bruising right in that moment. you try to kick him, but he just catches your ankle with his other hand.

sanzu tried to help you, though he was now occupied with more men that had tried to jump him. sucks that the both of you weren’t vocal in the slightest, or a lot of screaming and shouting would’ve been happening.

a few shouts from the masked man and his lackeys seemed to reach a certain brothel nearby. it also happened to catch the attention of a certain vice-president.

the aforementioned vice-president took off running from his place, because his sense of justice was really high that night for some reason. he found it kinda strange, since he technically didn’t care about what was happening but just had a really bad feeling about it.

“hey, say something, pussy. too scared to say anything?” the man smirks and throws you across the concrete, gaining a small grunt from you. you were thankful for the hoodie you were wearing, though it now had tears in the back.

he walks over to you, his face saying “you’re gonna have the biggest beatdown in your life right here.” you weren’t really scared of him anymore, but your physical attention was more on sanzu and thoughts went to where your captain went.

you got kicked, skidding across the ground again. and again, and again. you were pretty sure that you had a few broken ribs at this point. he kneels down to your beaten body, preparing to punch you, assumingly over and over again, but hesitates as you flinch. the smirk on his face fades.

“what a puny fifth division.” he lowers his fist. “wouldn’t hurt if i just killed you right here.” he stands up, raising his foot over your head.

“any last words?”

you were close to unconsciousness, but you look up and see a figure running towards your aggressor. they were blurry, but you could tell that it was your gang’s vice-president.

before the masked man could say anything else, a forceful punch hit him in the back of the skull.

your eyes felt like lead. but you wouldn’t dare close them, because who knows, you were on the verge of death at that moment. closing them meant that you gave up, and in turn you gave up your life.

the rest of the fight was a blur. you assumed when the noise died down draken won and sanzu was safe. a familiar head that was half shaven, half blond picked your limp body up.

“(y/n)!? can you hear me??”

“i hear ya, ken.” you barely vocalize. your entire body was sore, so your usual body language was out of the question.

he was shocked to hear your voice. he thought that it would be deeper, more masculine, and a bit breathy from the lack of exercise it got, but it happened to be really smooth and a much higher pitch than he expected.

“we’ll get you to the hospital, just hang on tight.”

“i’m not sure if i can hang on for that long, ken. my ribs are broken,” you explain. “i’m probably bleeding internally right now--”

“stop talking, you’ll make it. i’ll make you make it.”

the next thing you know, the feeling of wind flows through your freshly cut hair and your face was snuggled into the neck of your saviour as he dashed towards the nearest hospital.

“thank you for being here, ken,” you breathed out. “i love you.”

you fell limp on his back. he continued to run, tears obscuring his vision.

“i love you too, (y/n).”

𝐌𝐈𝐊𝐄𝐘 didn’t really care that you didn’t talk. if anything, he kinda appreciated it sometimes. touman could get really rowdy at the wrong time for him so he would go and confide in you.

he was one of the only people to be fully fluent in your body language, alongside the captains, draken, and you family and a few closer friends. many times he would communicate with you in class when he wasn’t sleeping like this. (not like the teachers could do anything - they were too scared to talk back to mikey.)

when he came up to you one day and asked “why don’t you speak?”, you simply shrugged your shoulders and headed off to your next class. there was no real reason for you to not talk, but also no real reason for you to talk either. why communicate when you could just exist? or be an enigma, either one work.

he never asked again since you were unwilling to share your deepest secret (aka your voice).

you held up 2 fingers. it had been only 2 years since the disbandment of touman, and both you and mikey were executives of his new gang, kanto manjikai*.

*i believe it would be kanto manji gang, since the “kai” means gang but i’m not sure if people actually call it that so kanto manjikai it is!!

he puffed and laid back onto the roof of the building the two of you were on. despite it only being two years, it felt like forever ago.

making a new gang with who was at the previous top was easy, though going through the problems of every other gang was quite... annoying. it was no problem for mikey, of course, just a waste of time.

as you ticked your tongue to the beat of a faint song from a club nearby, you watched the sky for anything special tonight. as per usual, nothing happens. you’re not sure what to expect to be in the sky, especially with all of the light pollution in tokyo.

“why do you stick with me?”

you turn your head to the boy and stop clicking your tongue.

“why do you stick with me, (y/n)? you willingly stay by my side when we both know that you’re gonna get hurt one day because of me.”

you sigh and look back up into the night.

“...because i love you,” you mumble. how embarrassing. your first words after not speaking for several years were “because i love you.”

mikey gave you a puzzled look. you couldn’t see it, but you could just tell. he was shocked, surprised, confused, and even more.

your voice was sore even after speaking just a few words. i guess you should’ve been doing vocal exercises at home after all, huh. well, it wasn’t like you were planning on speaking more anyways.

a comfortable silence was welcomed as the blond processed all of the information and you quietly hummed to yourself.

you turned back when you heard the rustling of clothes behind you where mikey was.

“where are you going?”

“let’s go out for a ride. we can get dorayaki.” he starts to walk off to the stairway, leaving you.

you run to go catch up to him, almost tripping down the stairs.

“mikey, is this your way of asking me on a date?” your voice echoed throughout the hollow stairway.

you couldn’t hear a verbal answer, though you did hear his footsteps coming to a halt.

In the middle of the night??? ♡ he’s hurt that you’d try to run away, but his main concern is your safety ♡ Alice strikes me as the “handyman who may not know what he’s doing but it works out in the end” type sooooo ♡ they decide that Keiji will go get you, and Alice will just stay at home and make sure that you wouldn’t be able to even dream of running away again ♡ if you left through the windows, good luck doing that again while he’s jamming them shut–

♡ have fun trying to leave through the door when he’s changed the locks, and now it locks from the outside as well ♡ don’t ask how he did this in a timely manner, im doing my best <///3

♡ Now, Keiji is more annoyed where Alice is scared ♡ like, seriously? They treat you so well, and you have the nerve to run away from them?? ♡ since he’s less panicked than Alice, he’s able to concentrate more on thinking about where you’d go

♡ and considering how none of his “friends” have contacted him to say you’re with them,,, ♡ he narrows it down to either your family (if they live nearby), or an actual friend that he’s let you keep ♡ and since he also hasn’t gotten any panicked texts from Alice about your family sending the police their way,,,

♡ you’re on your way to a friend’s place, 100%

♡ so of course, he does the only sane thing to do

♡ just when your friend’s front door comes into view, so does Keiji-

♡ and he doesn’t look very happy with you tbh

♡ you can’t even try to babble an excuse, turn to run, or do anything before he’s got you by the back of your shirt

♡ of course, he would never raise a hand against you in public! no, never

♡ but he will mock you for being such a dumbass ♡ did you honestly think that they wouldn’t notice? that’s a bit rude, isn’t it? ♡ the way i’m getting annoyed from my own writing fucking bye–

♡ you really thought you would be able to escape with no means of transport? You do realize that cars are quicker than,,,well, you, right?

♡ you realize how much trouble you’ve caused? Not only did he and Alice have to wake up in the middle of the night to come find you, but you’re not even thankful for it, are you?

♡ if you think he’s bad, Alice is arguably worse–

♡ he almost starts sobbing when you two get back <//3

♡ the way he’s worried about you would be sweet if the circumstances were different and you weren’t being taken back to being held captive in your own home–

♡ where were you???? Do you have any idea how worried he was???

♡ you could’ve gotten hurt, or kidnapped, or killed, or something worse, and how would they have helped you out of any dangerous situation if they hadn’t noticed that you were gone?

♡ but because he’s the nice one, he’ll forgive you, this once

♡ you must’ve been half-asleep, right? Or you just sleepwalked? Or you were just confused? Because surely you wouldn’t do anything so reckless on purpose, right? ♡ it’s alright, though, because now they’ve got new safety measures to make sure you don’t make the same mistake! ♡ don’t complain, because he initially proposed just chopping off or breaking your legs to stop it from happening again <333 ♡ the only reason this didn’t happen is bc Keiji deemed it as too harsh for a first-time offense and also cleanup would be alot of work this late into the night–

♡ bc that friend who you tried to run to? ♡ they’re either mysteriously too afraid to speak with you or whatever method you had to contact them is just cut off altogether

♡ on the bright side, at least your boyfriends are so willing to excuse your actions! And now they’re spending even more time with you, isn’t that nice? ♡ i’d advise against being inconsiderate of their generosity, though ♡ after all, if you even think to try something like this again, they’ll have to actually go through with Alice’s idea
