Joking About Dating A Friend But They Take You Seriously

A/n: This is for the woman lovers this glorious June hehe, I know there’s not always a lot of this type of writing for anyone who likes girls so I hope I did right by the lovers of these haikyuu lovelies <3

G/n reader

Haikyuu girls (most of them~)

Yachi Hitoka

Her poor little heart drops

She looks like a kicked puppy, giving the biggest sad eyes as she watches you with another girl who she knows you’re good friends with

Thought you were good friends with

Now she knows that was wrong and it was stupid of her to assume

Yachi immediately wishes she had the power to go back in time to before she even knew you so she could tell herself “NO! Don’t fall for this one!!!”

Tears in her eyes, she thinks it probably would’ve happened anyway

It’s hard, but she forces herself to face the other way and once she succeeds in turning, she tries to start walking away

She’s so upset she can’t get her feet to move :(

Yachi had always been guilty of crushing too hard on people, however this seemed a little excessive right now

She doesn’t even realize when you come up behind her and she certainly misses the tender, worried look you give as you notice her tears

The sound of your voice startles her out of her frozen state

“Yachi? Yachi, what’s wrong?”

Let it be known Yachi Hitoka is not a brave soul; she runs from fights and hides when things overwhelm her

That being said, she had her brave moments

And apparently this was one of them

She says your name and takes a shuddering breath-

And ends up shouting, “I like you!”

She’s so embarrassed by her outburst that she starts completely sobbing

….maybe the tears are also from the fact that she knows you don’t like her back

Except you’re cupping her face and starting to laugh at the shocked, snotty face looking back

“Yachi,” you say slowly, letting yourself enjoy the way Yachi’s eyes watch you

“I like you too. And if you weren’t covered in so much snot, I’d kiss you.”

Completely shell shocked, starts stuttering right away in disbelief. “W-w-what do you mean? I j-just heard you say you were d-d-dat-ting your friend?”

“What? When did I-

You stop and think back to not even two minutes ago when you had indeed been messing around with a friend. “oh.”

You move your hands down till Yachi’s and yours are interlocked and apologize

“I’m so sorry for upsetting you Yachi, I was joking around with her and I really didn’t mean it.. can you forgive me for hurting you?”

Yachi sniffles and says to your surprise, “how do you know I’m crying because of that?”

You can’t help the laughter you both burst out into

And then Yachi has one more brave moment as she kisses your cheek

Alisa Haiba

Alisa is used to acting

She’s in the modeling industry after all and she’s had more then her fair share of days where all she wanted to do was yell and make a mess of things but she didn’t, instead smiling and greeting people politely

Hearing you say you were dating the handsome model she had worked with on several occasions before, brought out an ugly anger she found she didn’t want to hold back and wasn’t sure she could act away

Alisa had been aware of your closeness to the model, she had been the one to introduce you two

She hadn’t realized that the relationship you shared with him, could morph into something romantic

Finding out now, after you had already apparently been going out, made her blood boil

It wasn’t fair in the slightest! She hadn’t gotten to confess, she hadn’t thought she needed to until she had figured out the way to tell you her feelings

You were perfect for each other, at least in her opinion! And you’d practically been dating!! How could this have happened?

She didn’t know, you hadn’t even hinted at liking the man and that made her even more pissed off at you and him

She probably could’ve avoided the situation she was about to put you all in, if she had payed attention to the way the man had rolled his eyes and said after a few seconds that he wouldn’t date you

But Alisa wasn’t paying attention to what you were saying anymore, having turned her focus to what she would tell you dating a model was like and how it was a horrible idea if it wasn’t her

So she did what she figured was a very friendly, friend-ish thing to do, (and she was a friend right?) and told you all about the horrors of dating a model

Both you and the man you’d been joking with have your jaws dropped to the floor as you listen to Alisa shit talk the man next to you and inadvertently, herself as well…

You consider interjecting, though you don’t think you could even if you wanted to as you listen to Alisa heatedly tell you about plastic surgery and weight problems in the industry

“And anyway, now that you know that dirty habit most models participate in,” at this she pauses and glares at the man beside you. “I’m sure you’d love to know what models do to force romance on relationships that aren’t romantic? Yeah? I think you would, so listen up closely, this one will be hitting home I believe,”

At that, someone finally intervenes

It’s the handsome model you’re “dating” excusing himself to the bathroom

…

You supposed that was fair

And you supposed you knew what this was about now that Alisa had brought up romance

“Alisa, babe.. are you upset about my joke with Jay? Because I didn’t mean it, obviously I didn’t when we’re dating.”

“Yes I’m mad about Jay and your relationship I-

She stops and stares at you, as what you said sinks in

“Sweetheart,” she starts, unsure and a little excited at the same time. “What do you mean we’re dating?”

Now you’re staring

“Uhm? Aren’t we?” You ask a little stupidly

In your defense Alisa had quite literally just called you sweetheart and you could recall five separate times she’d said she loved you?? And you’d said it back??? Sooo

Alisa can’t believe her luck, she’s so happy she doesn’t care she just told you a multitude of terrible things models do and that she was mad enough to do it in the first place

All that matters as she smiles, and wraps you in her arms is how you care about her the way she does you and she tells you now for the sixth time, that she loves you <3

Kageyama Miwa

Conflicting upon conflicting emotions as she hears you say with a cheeky smile you’re excited for your date later

On the one hand, she likes the happy expression on your face, on the other you’re talking to someone she’s never met

From an outsiders perspective it looks like she ate something sour and that’s why she’s making such a scrunched face

In the end, her reaction smooths out into a slightly disgruntled look as she decides to walk away and pretend she heard nothing

A good portion of her figures if she ignores this, it won’t be real

This doesn’t end up working too well when she starts to religiously avoid you along with the news of you dating someone else

She doesn’t even know why it’s bothering her so much

Miwa supposes her slight crush could have something to do with it…

But she’d never once stopped to consider dating you, so she didn’t know why someone else dating you would bother her so much

I mean.. you still had the same relationship, right?

Not with her avoiding you and looking sour every time she caught a glimpse of you. It was hard to acknowledge she didn’t have your friendship anymore

And now she couldn’t stop thinking about how much she missed spending her time with you, and she hates the way she’s been handling her feelings >:(

UhhhgggghhhHHH! She just wants to be around you again, regardless of your feelings toward her

It’s time, she realizes, time to confess you’re her best friend

She’s really freaking nervous going up to you the next time she sees you

There was a brief consideration to text you and say what she wanted the easy way, but then it wasn’t easy at all trying to come up with something to tell you and she figured it would go better if she said in person anyway

You’re shocked, seeing Miwa want to talk, after days of her looking miserable and running away when she so much as saw you

Truth be told, you’re mad at the woman for ignoring you

You still let her talk though, since you miss her voice

“Hi,” she starts.

You wait

She opens her mouth to continue

And shuts it again

You’re left staring at each other like 👁👁

You decide you’re mad again, “Miwa, what do you want from me?” When she doesn’t respond you continue. “I seriously can’t believe you’re ignoring me again! Can’t you just tell me what’s wrong?”

You stomp your foot in frustration and Miwa thinks it’s pretty cute, and now she’s embarrassed for thinking that when you’re dating someone else

She finally speaks, “I want us to still be friends..”

“What?” You seriously don’t understand

She continues with a frown. “I want us to be friends even though you’re dating someone else.”

“Miwa I’m what?” You ask incredulously

“You’re dating someone.” She says it as if it’s a fact

“I’m not.” You respond as if it’s a fact, and it is

“…what?”

“That’s what I should be saying!” You’re confused, and you just wanna know whats wrong with Miwa

“Do you want to date someone?”

You startle at this and turn to find eyes staring intensely at you

“I-I guess it depends on the person,” you say, feeling shy at your friend’s sudden curiosity

“Would you want to date me?”

You sputter, understanding lighting you on fire

“You can say no as long as we’re still friends,” she adds, almost as an afterthought

You finally regain enough composure to say yes

Miwa’s so glad she gets to be the one to date you, she doesn’t hesitate to kiss you right away <3

Kanoka Amanai

Hears you say in your joking around voice that you’re going to kiss your girlfriend, and sees that it’s directed at a friend who she thought was dating someone else

She’s automatically unsure how she should take this information

You seemed like you were kidding, and yet the word “girlfriend” echoes in her head

And with her anxious thoughts taking over, she’s inclined to believe you are being serious, as silly as that may seem if she explained the situation out loud

Kanoka didn’t know whether you were actually dating or into that girl, she really had no idea what your feelings were at all

What she did know was that she had bad luck when it came to romance

No matter who she liked it never ended the way she hoped it would-

With them dating

Some had become lifelong friends and others had distanced themselves afterwards, one can’t help excepting the fate of no romance after so many rejections though

So Kanoka, heart hurting, resigns herself to the revelation

There’s always next time

Except..

She doesn’t want there to be a next time

She knew it was wrong to like people so much when it had never once ended well, yet she just couldn’t tell her heart to listen to logic when her feelings for you were in question >:/

So she makes a decision on the spot

Kanoka doesn’t want to walk away from you and her feelings

She knows there will always be hurt in feelings that don’t match

But she’s going to face that hurt head on and tell you what she wants

Even when she’s sure she knows what your answer will be

She turns around and marches up to you, ignoring the flare of jealousy at the proximity your “girlfriend” and you share

“I need to talk to you,” she starts and only waiting a moment for your nod, grabs your arm and guides you away from the group of friends you had been surrounded by

“What did you want to talk about?” You ask

Kanoka doesn’t hesitate

“I want to go out with you,” she says. “I want to go on dates and kiss you and tell you I love you! I want you to look at me and I want to look back, and I need you to tell me if you’re dating that girl.”

She’s pointing back at the group, at your friend who you’d been joking with a few minutes ago

You barely register it through your shock, you were not expecting a confession

Least of all such a big, sweet one

You want to tell your friend that yes! You want to date her but you’re stuck frozen so long, her face starts to twist and you can see the confidence in Kanoka fade

She looks terrified by the time you open your mouth, having worked out what to say

“Kanoka, I would never date Luce, and I’m not sure if you noticed but,” you smile, closing the distance between you two. “I’m already looking at you.”

You both are, and you only stop when your eyes close and lips meet

Yukie Shirifuka

She’s so chill

She’s legit right next to you as you say you’ll bridal carry your partner

Doesn’t blink, carry’s on as is

In reality, she is so focused on coming across as chill, that she doesn’t hear you say you’re kidding

Only after you’re gone does Bokuto ask if Yukie’s ok?

He was also there at the scene of the crime

He also blanked out and didn’t hear you when you very clearly said you were kidding

Neither of them saw you look over at Yukie nervously after your joke either, like you were worried about her reaction

They panicked, alright?

Yukie keeps panicking for days afterward

She wants you to tell her about your relationship so she can get over you

But you act like you would normally and don’t mention anything about your partner, and it’s not helping her get over you at all???

In the end, she decides she needs to kill you and dispose of your body

Kidding! She’s kidding!! She does scare Bokuto with that suggestion when she says it with a straight face though

Yukie’s pretty tired of dancing around her feelings at this point

She decides to tell you the next time you’re alone together

Which takes way too long for her liking

Her opportunity finally comes after a couple more weeks, when she and you walk home together after a hangout with friends at a park

She seriously looks indifferent as she turns to you, the moment other people are out of the way and says, “I like you, and it’s in a romantic way.”

Like damn ok

You take a second to stop, and then keep moving when you see Yukie is marching onwards

You respond as you reach her side

“I like you too!”

You’re happy, big grin stretching across your face and Yukie is very confused

“..did you not hear me say romantically? Or did you break up with your partner?”

The last bit makes you hesitate before you say you heard her and you don’t know what she means by breakup

“That friend you were dating, the one that you carried-

Did you break up?”

“We were never dating!” You shout, without thinking of the people within earshot

“We’ve joked a couple times, but I don’t actually like them and we’ve always made it clear we’re kidding!”

Yukie doesn’t get flustered easily, however she’s beet red as you yell

And she gets even more embarrassed when you ask if she wants to date

She wishes she’d paid more attention

She’s wishes BOKUTO had paid more attention

And Yukie wishes she could have been dating you two weeks sooner as she tells you yes, she wants to start dating

With a click of the power button, I slid my phone into my purse and pulled out the spare key Kenma had given me for his house, noting that the ramen probably had just arrived. Grabbing it, I made my way inside, checking the small clock on the wall by his door and seeing it had just hit 3:05 PM, knowing his stream had probably started already. As I slipped off my shoes, the soft patter of my feet against the hardwood echoed through his long hallways. Seriously, who needs such a big house when it's just one person living here?

I could hear soft chatter from where I was in his hallway, and it wouldn't have surprised me if he had his headphones on already. Quietly making my way to the door of his streaming room, I slid it open as quietly as I could, making eye contact with his stream. I realized he had recently changed his streaming room setup, his back facing me as I slid across the hardwood, setting the plastic bag down onto a nearby table. Putting a finger to my lips in an attempt to keep the chat quiet, I tapped his shoulders with both hands, watching him jump ever so slightly at the feeling.

"Holy shit," he mumbled after he took one side of his headphones off. "Did you grab the ramen?" he asked as I sat down in the chair he had pulled up beside him for me to use. I nodded. "I set it down by the table over there," I answered, pointing back at the table where I had put the bag. Speaking into the mic, I addressed the chat, "I'm torturing you guys with a mukbang today, then Luigi's Mansion," I told them, seeing comments flood in from new viewers and his following alike.

"Never mention that shirt I wore last time. Whoever just asked where it was, I had to burn it," I said sarcastically. "Besides, Yachi let me steal this from her closet, so it's automatically better, guys," I added as Kenma finally sat back down with me.

I originally was gonna have Mochi be a small dog but instead a cat no one really likes Mochi because she bites people she meets but Yachi,alisa, and y/n love her

akaashi,bo,kuroo and Kenma hate her bf with a burning passion just for the fact he's a fucking dick and had tried to get her to cut off all five of them with just a simple he didn't like them but

not actually a Terushima hater he has a bit of a redemption arc at some point if I feel like it guys

the first original idea for Kenma and y/n was a dynamic like Denki and Jirou but instead y/n as Denki and kenma as Jirou cus he's calmer lowk or mao mao and Jinshi from apothecary diaries

terushima and y/n have been basically done with each other for months but you'll kinda see that next few chapters

It was easy for him to unintentionally grab your attention with that annoying height of his. He was almost as tall as the Eiffel tower!!!

But! Despite that, you tried to get close to Lev. And you found comfort in his presence!!! it feels like he knew you your entire life!!!

But it's not all fun and games until you bump into him in the hallway late at night-

The way his eyes looks at you as if he knows all your deepest secret. You were so sure that you would've pissed yourself right there and then if it weren't for Yaku throwing a towel at Lev.

Ever since then, you couldn't see him the same despite his gremlin attitude towards you. But! It took you a while to get over that scary interaction.

He gets so excited whenever he sees you outside of class, always waving aggressively at you and almost slap people multiple times-

He also invites you to watch his practices that you became their unofficial manager!!

When the two of you got together, the team was kind of shocked but quickly got over it. They would just accept it and move on. Except for Yamamoto-

"ARGHHH!! NOT ONLY HE WANTS TO STEAL MY SPOT AS THE ACE, HE ALSO GETS A PARTNER BEFORE MEE!?!?!???"

"pfft- imagine not pulling?"

"GET BACK HERE KENMA!!! IM GOING TO DESTROY YOU!!!"

And with another reason to fuel Yamamoto's hatred towards the giant (he still cares for lev tho), your hyperactive giant comes out of practice with more tired than any other practices that day ♡

He tries to stand up properly so he could act like it was no big deal but he ends ups like a wet noodle falling on the ground :(

(Trails of Cold Steel) Old Class VII gals accidentally hurting their S/O during training

I want Laura to snap me like a toothpick.

Also less angsty, more funny than anything

Laura's greatsword slams against S/O's weapon, knocking them straight onto the floor.

At first, she's a bit proud.

(Laura) "Looks like I've won this match...S/O?"

Upon realizing they weren't responding, she drops her sword and rushes to their side in a panic.

(Laura) "S/O?!"

(S/O) "OW...P-Proud of you, dear."

(Laura) "I-I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to- I'll get you a healer-"

She's extremely flustered and doesn't really know what to do. At first she goes for the door, before suddenly going back to them, not wanting to leave them alone.

(S/O) "Laura...just, bring me to the clinic, please-"

Laura picks them up very quickly, which ends up hurting them more which she almost dropped them.

It turns into an entire fiasco where trying to get S/O help ends up injuring them more somehow. Even though S/O laughed and said it's fine, it brings her such embarrassment to recall the memory.

Fie quickly leaps into the air before landing on top of them, and as they tried to get up, she quickly swept their legs and let them land face first to the floor.

She turns back to them, slightly cringing at the noise.

(Fie) "Crap, you alright? That sounded like it hurt."

(S/O) "Oooow! Motherf-!"

S/O had a hand over their nose as they tried to get up before tripping again.

This time, Fie was fast enough to catch them. Though keeping them up was another story. They fell on top of her since her arm strength wasn't great, and S/O was now lying on Fie as she just simply blinked.

(Fie) "Wow, keep it in the room, S/O."

She said with the most deadpan voice.

(S/O) "I think my nose is broken."

Fie gently sat them up and put her fingers on their nose.

(S/O) "What are you-"

Fie realigned their nose with a semi-loud snap, making them wince in pain and yelp out. Being raised by Mercs doesn't tend to make one gentle.

Even though they were cursing up a storm, she gave them a kiss on said nose gently, and made sure to ask Emma how to make things up later.

(Fie) "...Sorry, by the way."

It sounded like she didn't care, but truthfully she felt horrible. She couldn't look them in the eye for the rest of the day.

Emma was hesitant to use her magic on S/O and this was exactly why.

...Well, not exactly the way she imagined it would.

She casted a sleeping spell on them, which caused them to slide off the training mat and onto the ground.

Which then caused several sports balls to fall on their head.

(Emma) "Oh dear."

She ran over to cast a healing spell on them, her worry growing more and more when they weren't waking.

Thankfully, they opened their eyes but reached where her hand was.

It was definitely going to bruise.

(Emma) "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to hurt you-"

(S/O) "Ow! Emma, please don't worry, it's fine. I was sorta asking for this anyway."

Another ball fell onto their face, which startled Emma and accidentally let their head drop on the floor.

(Emma) "S-SORRY!"

Alisa in close quarters combat with her bow in the event someone got too close.

Which resulted in the bow hitting S/O's jaw, into their stomach, then finally an overhead smash.

Her battle instincts from the war kicked in, and she was surprised by her own skill.

(Alisa) "W-Wow, I didn't know I could do that! HA! S/O, did you see that!?"

Sharon simply clears her throat and gestures to the ground as she's preparing a first aid kit.

(S/O) "Y...Y-Yeah...I saw."

(Alisa) "Aidios, are you alright?!"

She's beating herself up for hurting her own S/O like that, but more so asking a stupid question when they still haven't gotten up.

(S/O) "...Been better."

Her and Sharon are quick to act, Alisa's instinct to apologize profusely but managing to keep it an and just tend to the girlfriend inflicted injuries.

Sara's Orbal Pistol had a mode to where it only injured, and not killed, which made it perfect for training.

Unfortunately, she didn't hold back and unleashed her full wrath, showing S/O why she earned the nickname "Purple Lightning".

In an instant Sara went right behind them and fired off several shots intending to hit their shoulder.

Instead every one hit their ass.

They yelped out as they dropped their weapon, making Sara snicker.

(S/O) "OW! Sara, what the hell?!"

(Sara) "Sorry, meant to hit your shoulder-"

(S/O) "HOW DO YOU AIM THAT LOW?! Are you drunk or something?!"

(Sara) "Just wanted to give you a heads up, show you where I'm looking! Haha! Ha...ha...?"

Clearing her throat awkwardly, she helped them out.

(Sara) "S-Sorry. Not funny?"

(S/O) "No."

BONUS:

(Rean) "You're sitting kinda weird. You alright?"

(S/O) "No, Sara hit my ass so hard that I can't sit right at all..."

(Rean) "H-HUH?!"

(Sara) "WOAH! Why'd you phrase it like that? They mean that I shot them accidentally during training."

(Rean) "How do you even do that, were you drunk?"

(Sara) "I WAS NOT DRUNK!"

you are one of the few people in the edenverre empire who doesn't worship marianne. and alisa was thankful for that. since she doesn't want marianne to snatch you away from her. you are the precious treasure that she's not willing to share with anyone. after all, you are her friend. not marianne's, not her sister's, not her brothers', but hers.

“Will you two shut up?” Lev called, over the two’s bickering. Lev was driving because Kenma could be bothered to, even though it was his car. Y/n had shotgun while Kenma took the back seat.

“Can we just go to our own dinner? Like honestly, I could be streaming right now.” Kenma complained, not looking up from his game.

“Right, were already late, we can just not show up?” Y/n huffed while she played with her polished fingernails.

“I don’t want to go either, but y’all know nana is expecting us to be there.” Lev said sadly. Y/n and Kenma didn’t say anything after that. The drive continued in silence.

The trio walked into the very extravagate restaurant and they were lead to a large section that was for private parties. Y/n was slowly filling up with dread. she regretted coming here, she wanted nothing more than to go back home and be with Aran. To talk and laugh about anything and everything. Just for him to hold her and say ‘everything is going to be okay’.

Y/n subconsciously reached out for Kenma’s hand and held it tight. This stopped both men from walking and they looked to her.

‘‘Y/n. We don’t have to go in. We can turn around and go back home. We’ll call Grandma another day.” Kenma said and Lev agreed. Neither one of them looked forward to this, they all knew this dinner would end badly.

“Let’s just get this over with”

They finally walked into the space the dinner was being held. It was spacious and brightly lit, low music playing in the background. The Kuroos we’re talking amongst each other with five other people attending that they were unaware of. One person that none of them knew and the other one was talking cheerfully while practically sitting in Kuroo’s lap.

“Yaku, Alisa and the other Haiba are here,,,,,,,,,, fucking greaaaaaaat.” Kenma spoke loudly on purpose, walking over to the vacant seats. He ignored the people that tried to greet him.

Alisa stood from her seat on Kuroo’s lap and made her way over to them with a bright smile the irked the trio immediately.

“Levochka! I missed you so much!” Alisa called, walking over to Lev with outstretched arms. Lev simply side stepped her and walked over to the seats, pulling one out for Y/n in between Kenma and himself. Alisa almost tripped over her own feet. While Y/n bit back her laughter, Kenma and Lev made their amusement know. Kenma could feel everyone looking at them and spoke up, annoyed.

“What? Did you expect us NOT to laugh after she tripped over her stupid looking ass heels? If she stayed seated and been a lap bitch, then she wouldn’t have almost fell on her face and we wouldn’t be laughing” Kenma stated.

“Excuse me??” Alisa's mother interjected. “Of course, momma bitch has to say something” Kenma rolled his eyes. She gasped completely offended, Kenma mocked her gasped. She looked over to her husband completely expecting him to defend her and their daughter, he did not. Kenma was bored so he turned his attention to Kuroo.

“I see you forgot to mention that we could bring a plus 1 to dinner”

“So, what if I did? I see you forgot to wear the proper clothes for dinner.”

“I think we did you guys a favor” Lev cut in “We would hate to be confused for your family” he said with a smile.

Kuroo and Lev were having somewhat of a staring match while Kenma glared at Alisa and her mother. Y/n finally decided to speak up and address the unknown man at the table.

“I’m sorry, I don’t believe we’ve met. who are you?” The man looked taken aback, not expecting to be spoken to.

Before he could speak attention was brought to the entrance. Some waiters announced the arrival of Grandma. Everyone stood to greet her she gave them all a bland hello before her eyes fell upon the pink trio.

Her eyes crinkled with her smile as she greeted them warmly. Immediately taking Lev into her arms with an eager hug. She did the same with Kenma and Y/n.

“Darling, your dress is wonderful! The pink suits you well.” she complemented her, giving her face a gentle squeeze. They walked her to the table where she decided to sit next to Y/n in between Lev and Kenma.

After everyone was seated, the waiters came out and took everyone’s order and brought out drinks. Grandma took notice of the new people in the room and gave them all a look. “Darling” she spoke to Y/n “Do you know these extra people? I do believe that this was family gathering, why are they here?” Before Y/n could answer her, Kuroo’s older sister interjected.

“Grandmother! These are-” “Child.”

All kindness left her voice, eyes cold as she stared at her Grandchild. “I do not think I was talking to you when I asked my question. Only speak when you are spoken too. Have your parents not taught you and your brother this?” She turned her attention back to Y/n waiting for her to answer her question.

Y/n explained that the people where Alisa and Her parents plus a man she did not know. The man introduced himself as Yuki and stated that he was Yaku’s plus one.

“And what is your relationship with Yaku?” “Oh! ma’am Yaku-kun is my boyfriend” Yuki spoke cheerfully. With that he grabbed Yaku’s hand and kissed that back of it. As he did, he maintained eye contact with Lev, so did Yaku. They both wore a smug look. Yaku had the thought that he was the best thing Lev ever had even after their separation. He thought that Lev would be too depressed to ever move on from him. He only brought a date to get a reaction out of him. All he got was a raised eyebrow and a side glance.

“Boyfriend? Yaku are you not married to Lev?” Grandma asked confused and a little angry.

“No grandma we are not married. We are in the process of a divorce.”

“Oh? And what happened for it to lead to this” Grandma looked between the two. Her eyes fell on Yaku where they stayed, staring into his eyes. Yaku immediately felt like she knew everything that happened, just by looking into his eyes. He broke the contact.

“Well Nana, I’ll tell you some other time. When the company is more, pleasant.” Lev said then sighed.

“Well now I feel lonely. I didn’t know we could bring a +1, I would have brought Shinsuke-kun.” he said with a pout.

“And who is Shinsuke? There are a lot of your friends I am not familiar with.”

“Kita Shinsuke is his boyfriend Grandma” Kenma said smugly, looking at Yaku.

Grandma looked absolutely shocked, and the table was silent. No one talked but Kuroo looked over to Yaku. His eyes held so many emotions, everyone at the table could see it. The silence was interrupted by Grandma grabbing Lev’s face and going ape shit on him.

“You have a Boyfriend, and you didn’t bring him to dinner!” “Grandma I didn’t know we could-”

“That’s no excuse!! You need to bring him here. I want to meet him!!” “Grandma I’m sorry-” “I don’t want you sorry!! I want to meet your Boyfriend!!”

“KENMA HAS A BOYFRIEND TOO” “Hey! leave me out of this” Her attention was then turned to Kenma, who sat next to Y/n. Grandma has now released Lev’s poor cheeks and gave Kenma the same treatment.

"You two have some nerve not telling me about your boyfriends. I expect a full explanation later on" she said. Kenma and Lev agreed with a grumble rubbing their faces.

"Grandma blame your grandson. He left out that we could bring a plus one when he said we had to come." Y/n said.

Grandma huffed " well tell your partners to clear up their schedules as soon as possible. I need to meet them."

Kenma looked at Y/n before looking at Kuroo, who he smirked at. "Does that mean Y/n boyfriend has to come too?" Kenma asked. Grandma looked confused

“Yes, Tetsurou has to come. Why wouldn’t he?” Kenma felt the harsh glare he was getting from the Kuroos and Yaku but he couldn’t care less. Kenma looked at them with smug eyes and a small smirk. Lev faked his shock.

“Nana nobody told you? Y/n broke up with Kuroo” Lev said with and over exaggerating pout that Kenma copied. “They haven’t been together for a while”

Grandma looked to Y/n with a short of hurt expression, confusion in her eyes. Y/n gave her the biggest grin she could before answering her unspoken question “Grand I’m fine! I haven’t been this happy in the past few years”

“If you say so, but why are all of you ending your relationships? I don’t understand it” she spoke sadly.

“You have a shitty grandson. That’s why” Kenma spoke bluntly, Lev eagerly agreed.

She turned to said grandson, to ask what Kenma was talking about but was interrupted by Kuroo’s mother frantically calling for a waitress to take their orders. She ended up ordering for the whole table. The waitress quickly wrote down the orders and left, staring at Y/n as she went. Y/n didn’t know why the waitress looked at her terrified, but she didn’t question it. She only raised an eyebrow and her expression turned to pity and quickly left.

"Is someone going to explain what Kenma is talking about?"

"It's nothing mother. Please don't worry yourself over it."

"We will tell you about it at lunch nana." Lev said

Everyone made small talk amongst themselves as they waited for the food to come. Grandma would not talk with anyone but the trio, she didn't like how her family was treating them. She could see something was up with them.

"Darling, are you wearing makeup? You look like you're glowing." she complimented Y/n. "I guess I'm glowing because I'm happy"

"She's only happy because she got her pu-ACK!! Fucking OW!" Kenma tried to say but Y/n stepped on his toe with her heel. "Y/n that wasn't very nice!" Lev said.

Then starters came out and were placed on the table, each person started with a salad. "Please enjoy, out meals will be out shortly" the waiters called together before leaving. Something was off, that same waiter wouldn't look at anyone seated at the table. Y/n felt sick, her salad smelt funny, and her nose scrunched up which was noticed by the table.

"What's wrong Y/n?"

"It smells funny.." "The salad?" "Yeah"

Despite the smell, Y/n still tried some of the salad. She immediately spit it out into a napkin and pushed the plate away. "No. it tastes awful too."

"Well, I'll eat it if you don't want it. I like it" Lev said as he took the plate.

"Oh please!" Alisa huffed "Its just a salad. And you can finish it?"

Her mother chimed in "honestly, no wonder you look like that."

The other women at the table snickered at the remarks made. Y/n looked bored and rolled her eyes.

"I don't have to eat it if I don't want too." "Well maybe you should eat a salad sometimes, maybe then you wouldn't look like that." Alisa jabbed .

"Okay. Since we are talking bout appearances, for a "all natural" you sure are wearing a lot of makeup. It looks blotchy, right around your nose. Like you're trying to hide something."

"And you, ma'am. You look like you've had several Botox procedures done on your face. Maybe you and your daughter shouldn't be worrying 'bout my diet and more 'bout the wrinkles on your big ass fucking head. If your gonna use me for a joke at least make it funny" This got a laugh out of Granny.

"Hey, don't eat it if your gonna make a face like she did" Kenma said looking at Lev. "Okay. Y/n was right, it tastes funny. Excuse me! Can I get a to-go box? thank you."

"Why would you take it home if it tastes funny?"

"Maybe it won't taste funny tomorrow?"

"..... You're an idiot" "You guys are so mean tonight!" Lev whined.

"Anyway, I asked for you all to attend dinner tonight because I have some very important things to discuss with you all. But seeing as how people I don't consider family have attended this dinner I will discuss it on a later day." Grandma said.

"I think you three should leave. You heard grandma, this is a family event" Alisa said, waving her hand in a dismissive manner.

"..... I knew you were a fucking moron." Lev said. Alisa tried to counter but was silenced by Grandma.

"Lev is right, you are incredibly stupid. I was referring to you, your parents, and that Yuki fellow. You and your mother have done nothing but be rude and snarky to my ACTUL wanted guess. At least your father was quite this whole time. Yuki has barley spoken but he still managed to make me angry. Hes been glaring at Lev all night. Yaku, maybe find a partner that won't be intimidated by your Ex-husband. Thank you all, you've ruined my dinner." she gathered her things to leave, she turned to the trio and gave a smile "I still expect to meet them soon you three."

"Grandmother before you go, I- we have something to tell you all" Tetsuro said, grabbing Alisa's hand and putting his other in his pocket.

(Trails of Cold Steel) Laura, Fie, Alisa, Emma, Sara, Towa, and Duvalie cuddling HC's

Honestly, I need to give the Cold Steel gals, JJK and the AOT way more attention than what I currently give them.

Laura is extremely awkward at cuddling.

All she has known throughout her life is training and the most physical affection she has gotten has been hugs from her father.

So Laura isn't great at actually giving affection physically. The moment she hugs her S/O, they can feel their spine bend in ways it's not supposed to.

But after getting used to them, Laura learns to be more gentle, and lets S/O cuddle into her, and vice versa.

(Laura) "Um...is this comfortable, S/O? Please let me know if you need me to change position."

After making sure S/O is alright with cuddling, Fie immediately collapses onto their lap and snores away.

She has no shame, or at least it seems like it.

When she snuggles into her S/O, they can notice a very faint blush. They know that she wouldn't ever be this vulnerable with just anyone.

S/O's fate is now to be Fie's lap pillow.

(Fie) "Hm...comfy."

Alisa's heart starts pounding the moment her S/O gets close with her.

She's unused to this kind of affection and doesn't know what to do at first so she's stiff.

Alisa will glare daggers at Sharon who giggles at the sight of them cuddling.

But she can't help but smile once she gets used to it. It really does feel nice.

(Alisa) "Do you need me to get you anything? ...Just stay here? A-Alright..."

Emma doesn't mind the cuddling at all, and is usually doing her own thing as she feels S/O weight gently on her.

Emma will sometimes snuggle with them after taking off her glasses, and rest her head on their shoulders.

She can't help but fall asleep on some days, and Celine will sometimes be on her lap or S/O's.

Celine will also tease Emma to death once S/O is out of the room.

(Emma) "Heh, are you falling asleep? If you want me to, I can get you a blanket."

Sara, the alcoholic typhoon of a woman she is, won't mind the cuddling at all, though her S/O will have to learn to ignore the smell.

On the days she isn't smashed before 12:00 P.M shows up on the clock, she is very affectionate, with one arm always wrapped around S/O's waist.

She has an iron grip and lets her S/O rest on her, though some days she just puts her head on their lap with a smile.

Sara will talk about whatever as she just lazily rests on their lap, enjoying their time together.

(Sara) "...And get this, he told me that I needed to hurry up and get married! Psh, yeah, I'll marry my foot to his face, the jackass!"

By the goddess, Towa needs the cuddles.

She'll always be in her S/O's arms after a long day, quick to fall asleep.

At first, Towa will be blushing madly, stuttering over herself when she wakes up trying to apologize.

But Towa quickly grows accustomed being with her S/O, and there's not a day she can go by without sleeping in their arms.

(Towa) "S/O? Thank you for always being here for me. If you ever need to rest, I'll happily take you into my arms! Just...don't expect me to carry you."

Duvalie will sigh as she averts her gaze from her S/O.

Though she won't say no...After locking the door to make sure no one comes in anyway.

If her S/O wishes to continue the cuddles, they must say nothing about the soft smile that grows on her face.

Lest they want to see her tsundere wrath. The pout she makes is absolutely worth the risk, however.

(Duvalie) "...W-What? I'm smiling?...Tch, I don't know what you're talking about. If you got a problem, then find a pillow or something instead of using me! Hmph..."
