Summary: you're the sister of Mon-El you leave Daxam when you were little and came on earth before Kara. You met the daughter Luthor who'll become your wife and you two have a daughter. Unfortunaly, she'll be betrayl by a mysterious woman, Rhea, who is your mother.

[Daxam after the explosion of Krypton]

Someone woke you up, and you were confused when you saw the fear in the eyes of your maid. "What's happening?" She didn't have the time to reply when you both heard screams and cries. She took your hand and dragged you out of the castle.

"Ms. Y/n, Krypton exploded, and it is falling on Daxam. I need to make sure you can escape." She found a Kryptonian pod and pushed you in.

"No, Abbie, I don't want to leave you." You started to cry, "Come with me, please." You plead, but she shook her head.

"You're the princess of Daxam, miss. You have to go and survive." She hugged you and apologized, "I'm sorry, Y/N." She was crying as well.

"You can't leave me. I need you, and mom, and dad and my brother" she brushed her thumb on your cheek to calm you down, "and I'm only 5, I'll not survive without you. Please Abbie" you plead again.

"I already put data in it; it'll bring you to a planet called Earth," she kissed your forehead before starting the pod. "Don't forget, miss, you're a princess; act like one," she said as she placed her hand on the window, and you reciprocated: "Good luck, miss Y/N."

You were flying into space without saying anything.The journey should have been quick, but your pod collided with an asteroid, sending you to the phantom zone.You are imprisoned for the next 27 years before miraculously escaping.

[Earth, a town near Metropolis]

When you landed on Earth, Clark was already Superman. He found your pod when you lend and helped you, and because of him, you found a new home in this new world. The (y/l/n)s were good parents; they always wanted a new child, so when the Superman asked for their assistance, they couldn't say no.

The first years were difficult, you missed your family and Abbie too. But fortunately, you were glad to have a new big brother who was a jerk but not a Don Juan and a big sister who was always here when you needed her.

After a few years and many late-night conversations with your sister, Jessy, you decide to live a life that makes you proud. Since this moment, you were not the princess of Daxam; you were just Y/n Y/l/n, daughter of James and Kathryn (Y/l/n), and the little sister of Mike and Jessy. It was all you needed, at least before you went to high school. You met her there; she was stunning and beautiful; you couldn't count how many times you were lost in her green eyes, and her black hair, which contrasted nicely with her pale skin, was also quite nice.Her name: Lena Luthor.

After taking some advice from your friends and your siblings, you asked her out, and she accepted. You started dating one month after your first date, and three years later you married her. With her job at Luthor Corp and your job at Daily Planet, you almost have time to spend together, but you decided to have a child, you carried her, and it was the most beautiful thing in your life after Lena.Her name was Lilly; you thought it was a pretty name, and it was the minimum for your pretty princess.

Time flies, Lex has gone insane just after you and Lilly move to National City. Lois found you a job at Catco where you could work less and spend more time with your daughter. Unfortunately, that means you were not here when Lex tied your wife to a chair in his office and threatened to kill you. She was aware of your past and the fact that you were a daxamite, but she didn't mind; all she cared about was the fact that you adored her and Lilly above all else.

[Present]

It's been a while now since Lena came to Central City, and you will not lie; you were pretty glad. Lilly loves you, but she missed her other mom too. Today you decided to have lunch with your wife, and you brought your daughter. It was a little surprise to Lena, but it was a surprise for you when you knocked and opened the door to find an older woman with your wife. She looked familiar, but you couldn't tell where you saw her.

The little girl didn't hesitate and rushed to her mom to greet her with a hug, and the green-eyed woman picked her up. "Hi little princess, I missed you," she cooed, and you smiled at the interaction. She looked at you and seemed to recall something, so she cleared her throat and came to a halt beside you, kissing you and saying, "Rhea, this is my wife, and Lilly is our daughter."She introduced you. "Y/n, this is Rhea. She asked for my help on a new project." She explained, and you nodded.

You offered your hand at Reah, and she shook it. "Nice to meet you, Mrs. Rhea; I hope she'll not bother you too much," you joked, and your wife punched your shoulder. "You know that doesn't hurt me, honey," you said, and Lena rolled her eyes.

"Mommy, I'm hungry." Lilly said.

"Oh, I think it's my clue to leave." The older brunette said,

"No, you can stay and eat with us." You offered.

"Oh no, I don't want to ruin a mother-daughter moment," she said, and she pocked the cheek of the little girl, who giggled,

"You don't ruin anything, Rhea." Lena said this time,

"Don't worry, there is someone who wait for me too," she said before walking to the door. "I'll see you soon, Lena." The three of you waved your hands, and she left.

"I like her," you said. "I just hope this new project will not take all your time."

The CEO kissed your cheek this time "I promise. Now let's go to eat."

After your first meeting with Rhea, the woman was always here when you visited L-Corp. It was not really bothering, she was pretty good with your daughter, and Luly seems to like her too. You were waiting for your wife that night, and you were reading a bedtime story to your little princess when she said something that caught your attention: "Mama, Mrs. Rhea, look like you." You stopped reading the story and looked at her,

"What do you mean, princess?" you asked softly,

"Yeah, she looks like you, and she looks like Mike too." You frowned your brows; you hadn't met Mike, Kara's new friend, yet. Lilly and Lena liked to say you had some common point with him, but you didn't know him. "Do you think she's from Da-Dax..." She searched for the right word, and it was cute to look at.

"Daxam, baby girl. And I don't know; I almost forgot everything about it. It's been a while you know." She nodded, "Now it's time to sleep, little princess. Tomorrow we will go to the carnival with mommy," you said, and she was so excited.

You left her bedroom when you were sure she was sleeping. You looked at the time and noticed it was late, and Lena didn't reply to your texts or your calls. You thought for a moment before calling Alex. "Hey Alex," you said when she answered the phone,

"Hey Y/n, it's late. Aren't you supposed to sleep?" She worriedly asked.

You groan "You're such a mom." And she laughed "do you know where is Lena? I tried to call her, but she didn't reply, and she didn't reply to my texts. I'm starting to worry." You admitted and you heard her sighed

"Y/N, we have a problem," she said, and you started to worry about your wife "We think she has been trapped and kidnapped by Mike's mom. But don't worry, Kara is on it."

"Where are you?" A wave of rage begins to wash over you.Alex told you where she was, you called Jessy, and she took Lilly with her for the night before you almost flew to where your friends was. When you reached the older Danvers, she was in front of a portal. She told you Kara was on the other side, and you didn't hesitate to run after her.

On the ship, you found Kara, Mike, Rhea, and an angry Superman. "What the hell?" you yelled, and every gaze was on you. "why Clark look like he's in front of a bad guy?" you asked, and the black-haired Kryptonian walked to you before he was stopped by Kara. You looked at Rhea and said, "You. Where is my wife?" You asked

"What Lena is your wife?" Mon-el said, and you focused on him.

"I saw you somewhere," you said, and some flashes from your childhood started to run in your mind. "Mon-el?" you asked, and you tilted your head. "But how? You were supposed to be dead when Krypton fell on Daxam." You were more than confused. He was about to reply when Rhea attacked you with a dagger made of lead. Thanks to your training with Clark, you successfully dodged it and attacked her back.

"Who are you?" the man asked you.

"I'm Y/n, princess of Daxam," you said, and the room froze at your confession.

"Wait, Y/n like--" your brother wanted to say something, but Rhea cut him off,

"It's impossible," she said."My daughter died, Krypton took me my daughter," she explained, and now everything makes sense—the familiar look, the fact that Lena and Lilly always say you look like both of them.

"Mother?" you asked, and you didn't trust what you said. All this time, you thought you were the only one who survived. "But how should you be dead, both of you?" you asked, as tears streamed down your cheeks. "Wait, if you're both alive, that's mean father and Abbie too." At your sentence, Rhea was hit by a wave of guilt. Mon-El looked at her and didn't say anything.

She shook her head, and you cried harder. "I'm sorry," she whispered. "I'm really sorry." She kept repeating it as if it would make you stop, but it didn't. And honestly, neither of them could make you feel better. You wanted to yell at them because they didn't protect Abbie, but an alarm stopped you.

"What is this?" you asked, and a guard ran to where you were before stopping and panting,

"My queen, the humans... They sent lead into the atmosphere." he announced, and the three of you widen your eyes

"What?" You said, but you didn't wait for any response before leaving the ship—thankfully, it was on top of the building. When your feet were definitely on the ground, you started to run. You had to find Lilly; she can't be exposed to the lead. Even if she was half human, she would be affected by the lead.

[North Pole, Fortress of Solitude, a few minutes earlier]

After Lena crossed the portal, Luke closed it. "What are you doing?" the young Luthor asked, but her mom didn't look at her.

"We needed to get away, and we did. Now what happens to them? That's not our problem." Lillian said nonchalantly, "But we have another problem." She said, and her daughter tilted her head with confusion, "ThisRhea sent all her army to conquer us, but we can stop her." Her voice was cold and calm, but she was a little worried, even if she didn't let it show. She is attached to Lilly, and she can't imagine what they could do to her.

"And what are your plan?"Lena asked coldly.

"We know they're weak against lead; it's their kryptonite." She took a little box "Lex had planned to use this to diffuse kryptonite in the atmosphere to kill Superman, but if you change it, it could diffuse lead." She informed her,

"And why would I do that?" The CEO scuffed,

"Because we both know you have a reason who is 4 years old and could be in danger if they found her." Lillian said,

"But my wife is a daxamite too." Lena reminded her,

"Yeah, I know, and I have something that could help her not be affected." She said casually, "So?"

Lena examined her mother and the cyborg beside her "deal."She said it quietly but enough to be heard by her mom, who now had a smile on her face.

Only a few minutes later, your genius wife finished the modification and activated the device.

[National City, present]

You knocked on the door of Jessy's apartment, she opened quickly and inspected you before leading you to her sofa. "What happened to you? Where is Lena?" she asked, afraid of your condition.

"Someone diffuses lead in the—" you coughed, "atmosphere," you finished, coughing.

"Wait who? And why?" Your sister asked,

"I don't know, but I need to contact Lena. Lilly will be affected by the lead, and she's the only one who could help us." You declared, Jess wanted to say something, but her phone rang; it was Lena.

"Lena, where are you?... what? Yeah, she's with me ... Right now? Okay, she's with me too, in my apartment... Yeah see you soon." she hangs on and turned to you "it was Lena she's in her way to come here. She'll be here soon. You should rest. I'll bring you water," she said as she walked to the kitchen.

You walked to Jessy's room and opened the door. You saw Lilly. She was sleeping, but suddenly she started to cough and was now awake. You took her in your arms and made your way back to the living room. Jessy came back and gave you both a glass of water. It's been more than twenty years now since you were on earth, so you knew you could stay a little longer, but you were worried for Lilly. Fortunately, Lena didn't make you wait too long.

You heard a knock on the door, and your big sis opened it. She smiled when she saw Lena, but her smile disappeared when she saw the woman behind her. "Oh Lillian, what a surprise." she said coldly, but let them step inside.

When you saw the familiar green eyes you were relieved and then you saw your mother-in-law, you suppressed a caught "Mother-in-law." you greeted her

"Daughter-in-law" She greeted you back, "You seemed more alive the last time I saw you," she joked, and you chuckled,

"Granny Lillian." Lilly greeted her, and the older Luthor's heart almost dropped when she heard the voice of her granddaughter.

"Hey princess, did you catch a cold?" Lena asked when she noticed her daughter's condition.

"No, someone diffused lead in the atmosphere," you replied, and the youngest Luthor coughed against your chest. "Hey, it's okay, Princess," you ran your hand through her hair. "Mommy is here; she'll find a way to help you." you whispered loudly against her temple.

Lena covered her mouth with her hands. It couldn't be real. Her baby girl shouldn't be affected by the lead, she's human too. Lillian noticed and decided to speak, "We have something that could help her." She informed you.

You didn't have to think too long about it, you understood they couldn't save both of you. "Hey princess, do you want to show the gift uncle Mike gave you to your granny?" You asked softly, and she nodded before getting up and walking to her bedroom. You started to walk to the kitchen and made eye contact with your wife. She got the hint and followed you.

"I'm sorry," she barely said between sobs.

"Hey, darling... *cough*... it's okay. You'll help Lilly, and I'm sure you'll find a solution for me after that." You kissed her forehead gently.

"I was not talking about this," she admitted. You didn't say anything; you just studied her eyes.

"It was you?" You asked her, and she nodded. She was crying harder, and you locked her between your arms. She could hear your heartbeats, but they were so ecstatic she couldn't feel safe, "I know why you did that." You whispered, and you ran a hand through her hair, "I'm not angry or anything, Lena. Just promise me you'll do anything to heal Lilly." She gently drew back and locked her gaze on yours.You only saw sadness and fear in her eyes, and it was killing you.

"I promise. But we have to do something for you." She replied, and you smiled softly.

"It's okay, my queen; I'm sure Superman and Supergirl won't mind if I stay in the fortress for a while." You tried to reassure her, or you. You didn't really know, but you can't let her feel bad for something she couldn't control. "I'm okay, Lena, I promise."

Jessy came in the kitchen, and you looked at her. "Lilly is feeling better now." She informed you, and Lena was relieved. You wanted to rush to your baby girl and take her in your arms, but you fell to the ground.

When you awoke, you were in the fortress. You could feel the lead in your lungs, but the pain slowly went away. You looked around and noticed a floating robot."Good morning, Mrs. Y/l/n-Luthor, I'm Kelex," he said.

"Oh, nice to meet you, Kelex." You looked around. "We are in the fortress, right?" you asked.

"That's right. Supergirl brought you here after you collapsed in your sister's apartment," he explained.

"Oh," was all you could say."Do you know where the others are?" you asked.

"They were back in National City. But you can't see them right now." he said, and you looked confused. "The atmosphere is not totally free of lead. You must stay here, safe," he explained.

"Do you know until when?" you asked, a little saddened by the revelation.

"We don't know, but don't worry, I'll let Mrs. Luthor and Kara know you're awake. They could come to see you during your time here." he said, and you nodded.

"Okay, it'll be fun. At least, I hope," you muttered.

what i will not write: anything fully nsfw (suggestive content is fine), full-length one-shots (at least not by request), non-canon sexualities for characters, age play/regression, rape or sexual assault, eating disorders, self-harm.

i will not write one-shots or full-length fics by request. however, i may write one-shots or series based on my own ideas if i am feeling inspired. otherwise, i will only take requests for headcanons, drabbles, and concepts or thoughts from you that i can turn into blurbs.

i will write for readers of any gender, but if you do not specify the reader's gender in your request, i will automatically make them gender-neutral, so as to keep my writing as inclusive as possible.

my inspiration tends to come and go a lot, so if it takes me a while to get your request out, i genuinely apologize in advance, but i do ask you to not be rude and try to pressure me into writing faster.

please be polite when sending in requests - i do not ask for a lot, just a simple "please" and "thank you" so i know you don't think of me as just a writing machine.

on that note, please try to put some kind of general plot into your requests ! not too much, since headcanons and drabbles are meant to be shorter, but i generally need more than just "x character with fluff". also, please put the type of request, or if it's just a thought or concept, in your ask !

Supergirl, Kara Danvers x Reader, Alex Danvers

Word Count: 2865.

Notes: thanks @supercorpenthusiastic for another song prompt. I'm so happy with this one. This fic is based on the song Sleepover by Hayley Kiyoko

“So, which one do you like best?” Kara appears in your eyesight again, and you let out yet another sigh, holding back everything you actually would like to tell her.

“You know you look good in whatever.” You look back to your phone trying to ignore her. What are you doing here? Why does she even need you here for this?

“Oh, your date with William is tonight.” Alex comes back from the kitchen, beer in hand, handing you one that you gladly accept.

“Yes, cancel it for me?” Kara begs, both blouses still in hand. And you look at Alex, trying to refrain from rolling your eyes. It is good, though, that Alex is here and you feel less lonely in this fucked up situation Kara just put you in.

“No, I will not. And blue. Always go with the blue, you know that.” Alex says, sensing you do not want to judge Kara’s outfit anymore.

“I know, I know.” She looks at the blue blouse for a second. “Unless Y/N thinks otherwise.”

“Huh?” You raise your head at her, pretending you weren’t paying attention. “Well, I gave you my opinion before, you could wear a garbage bag and he would still have to worship the ground under you. So, you know, wear whatever.”

Alex throws herself on the couch next to you. “Yeah, what she said.”

“It’s been two and a half years since I went on a date-” Kara starts and you scoff, annoyed and exasperated.

You would disagree with that. You have taken her on several dates ever since. You guess she just forgot to count them.

“What if I forgot how to do it?” She asks, clearly in a crisis, and this time you can’t help but roll your eyes.

“You smile, and you laugh, and you reach for the check.” Alex explains like she is talking to a toddler, but you know this isn’t what Kara needs to hear right now.

“If it gets awkward, just call me, and I’ll come to the rescue.” You muse and she is so relieved with that option that she actually lets out a breath she was holding back with a satisfied smile.

Alex raises her eyebrow at you, shocked that you knew what her sister needed better than her. Soon she looks at her phone. “Oh, real emergency, I’ve gotta go. But you are in good hands.” She points at you on the couch. “Y/N here is the best in the biz.”

At helping her platonic lover to get ready for a date with someone else. That indeed you are. You give Kara two thumbs up awkwardly. Alex smiles at you, sensing your pain, then makes her way out.

“You know,” Kara turns to you when Alex leaves the apartment. “I could use your help with my hair. You’re so good at that, babe.”

“Sure.” You accept begrudgingly. Kara comes back with a hair brush and sits on the floor with her back turned at you.

You run your finger through her hair first, smelling her shampoo scent, delighted by her perfect smell. You breathe deep, displeased that she’s doing all of this for anyone else but you, but then- then you picture something else entirely.

You imagine your hands on her hair, pulling slowly, small happy sounds leaving her mouth, so full of wanting. All of that just for you. You imagine yourself on Kara’s lap, kissing her hot and heavy while her hands hold your waist, grounding you, keeping you as close as physically possible.

“Y/N.” She says your name breathy and passionate, making you weak on your knees. And you see love on her eyes, burning passion, electrifying and-

“Y/N.” Comes Kara's voice and you blink out of your imagination and into reality. “The brush.”

“Right.” You pick it up from her hand, brushing her hair as delicately as you possibly can. “Still nervous?” You try, not wanting to come back to your mind, knowing it’s very hard to when you have to return to reality.

“No. You’ll come to rescue me, right?” She throws her head back, laying on your lap and looking up to you, waiting for confirmation. You agree with your head. “And then we can come back here, and eat Chinese food, and watch the documentary about sharks that we’ve been meaning to.”

“You shouldn’t be planning for your date to go wrong.” You sigh.

Kara, the smartest and most amazing person you have ever met, can’t seem to understand that if she wants the date to be canceled, and if she’s planning to come back home with her friend, is because she doesn’t want this date to happen at all.

"What 's wrong?” Kara asks, noticing this is probably the hundredth time you’ve sigh in the past half an hour. She turns around, getting on her knees in front of you, one hand on each of your legs.

“I don’t wanna talk about it.” You don’t want to think about it, it’s more accurate. And her position, shit, leaves margin to imagination.

Kara’s hand makes way to your face, as she cups your chin gently. “Babe, you’re my best friend, I want to know everything that’s going on with you.” She pleads, other hand going up your tights, and your knees buckle. “Please?”

“I’m just feeling low. It’s-it’s nothing.” You shrug, looking away from her inquisitive eyes. Kara holds your hand, squeezing it gently.

“Why?” She begs the answer out of you, wanting to make you feel better. But she’ll never understand.

“Just feeling alone. It’s not a big deal, Kara, really.” But she squeezes your hand once more, giving you an assuring smile.

“I’m with you. You’ll always have me. Best friends forever, right?” You breathe in her words, as painful as they are. She wants to be friends forever, well, you can think of something better.

“Right.” You agree with a closed-lips smile, as fake as any of this feels. “Now turn, this braid won’t do itself.”

She is reluctant, staring at your eyes looking for clues of how you truly feel. Can she see the scenarios you’re playing in your mind where she shows you how much you’re not alone by kissing your lips?

“Alright, well, I’m going on this date.” She turns around, sitting back down in front of you, and you make quick work of your hands to distract yourself. “But I’m coming back home to you.”

Just what you wanted. Not.

“No, no. Don’t worry about me, really.” You quickly finish her braid, tying her hair and patting her shoulder to indicate you’re done. “Just enjoy your date and make the most of it.”

“But-” Kara pouts, says nothing else.

“I’ve been meaning to do my laundry anyway.”

“On a Friday night?” She asks, in shock.

“My clothes don’t know what day of the week it is, Kara.” Your answer makes her chuckle, and she looks at you fondly.

“You know that you just need to say the word and I’ll cancel the whole thing to stay here with you, right?” You raise your eyebrow, wondering if she thinks this is normal behavior for ‘best friends’ to have. You agree with a smile.

“Stop using me as an excuse.” She opens her mouth to protest, but you don’t let her. “If you don’t want to go, just tell William. But if all of this is just because you’re scared of not knowing how to act, just pretend he is just a friend and you’ll be fine.”

She sighs. “You make it look so easy.”

“That’s because it’s supposed to be easy, Kara.” You admit, throwing your head back on the cushions, looking at the ceiling, not wanting to meet her eyes while you confess. “It’s supposed to feel like you’re about to meet your favorite person. You’re supposed to be feeling like you’re going to burst into flames just with the prospect of seeing the person you love. You’re supposed to be ecstatic, excited, relentless just by thinking of her-him,” you clear your throat, holding back the tears. “You should smile just by hearing the person’s name. And if-if William does nothing of the sorts for you, then yeah, I guess it’s hard.”

“Oh. That’s suddenly a lot of pressure for this first date.” It’s all Kara can say after your long and intense monologue. And you can only stare at the ceiling, scared to blink and crying the tears that are pooling your eyes. She says nothing for a while, and makes her way inside the bathroom to change. You breathe out, aggressively cleaning your eyes so you don’t cry, and make your way to the door.

“Have fun tonight.” You yell from the door, collecting your things from her apartment. Kara thanks you from inside the bathroom, and you yell a goodbye before going home.

Doing laundry was a flimsy excuse, but as you stare at the pile of dirty clothes on one side of your bedroom, you actually think it’s a good idea. You find one of Kara’s hoodies on the pile. Then the baggy t-shirt she usually wears when she stays over, and you’re almost sure you also found one of her underwear.

You bring the t-shirt to your face, breathing her in. It’s inevitable the way your mind works to just picture Kara in front of you. She is there, on a date with a boy, but at least you got her in your head, right?

At least in your head, she is right here. Kneeled in front of you, just like she did in her apartment. Her hand is going up your tights, while the other holds your chin just like she did a few hours ago. But then, she is turning your head to give her free access to your neck and you feel her warm lips on the hollow of your throat, sending spikes of excitement all over your body.

You swallow deep, picturing Kara showering your neck with kisses, nose brushing on your skin, her breath hot and uneven, warming the entire place. Her hands go up, up, up your tights.

And it feels so real, too real for your own sake. So tangible that when she places a kiss under your ear, you let out a moan from your mouth.

“Hey, the door was unlocked.” You hear and your eyes snap open so fast, while you throw Kara’s T-shirt as far away from you as possible. She walks in your bedroom, looking at the clothes at your feet. “I let myself in.”

“Yeah, I-I can see that.” You feel like you just caught doing something terribly wrong and filthy. But Kara doesn’t know, because it was all in your head. Right? Right. You swallow the lump on your throat, trying to breathe again. “How-how did the date go?”

“Well, I mean,” she sits next to you letting out a heavy breath. “I laughed, reached for the check, and I guess I had fun. He’s a good guy.”

You get up from your place next to her, picking up your laundry and throwing it in the basket, feeling too enraged by her words to feel comfortable next to her. “Mhm, yeah. The best.”

“But there was no excitement, no relentless feeling with the prospect of seeing him. No smile when I heard his name, and definitely no bursting into flames.” She sighs, throwing herself on your bed.

“I guess that’s your own fault,” You start and she snaps her head up to look at you. “for wearing the purple blouse instead of the blue one.”

She narrows her eyes, a smile playing on her lips. “Thought you said I would look great even if I wore a garbage bag.”

“Yeah, that’s on me. I mean, I have seen you in worse condition and still thought you looked fine.” You joke and she shows you her tongue, playfully.

“Chinese, sharks, and a sleepover?” It’s barely a suggestion or a request. She is just making sure, because who are you to deny her of anything? You could never.

“And laundry.” You point at the basket on your hands, using it to keep a safe distance from her.

“Oh.” Kara stands up, picking the basket from your hand, making her way to her discarded t-shirt on the other end of the room. “If dirty laundry is what’s keeping you away from me, allow me.”

She speeds out of your apartment, and not a minute later she makes her way back. “Doing laundry is fun.” Kara jokes, picking up her phone and ordering an absurd amount of food. She throws herself on your couch, feet up the coffee table, and as soon as she finds the remote, she turns the TV on. You stay still, uneased, scared of coming closer when your mind has been recently picturing things you should not think about your best friend.

“Are you going to stand there like a scarecrow or are you going to cuddle me on the couch like a normal human-being?” If cuddling Kara on your couch is normal human behavior, you wonder what’s abnormal from her perspective.

“Right.” You go sit on the couch, as far as you can possibly be, but Kara pulls you in a hug. She kisses your temple, hot and almost too sinful.

“As long as we have each other, we are never alone, baby.”

“Ye-yeah.” You agree, closing your eyes, imagining, dreaming, picturing. You can’t escape your own mind.

It’s chinese food, and a documentary about sharks, and cuddles on the couch, with hands holding body parts that best friends shouldn’t have access to. It’s getting ready for bed, side by side in the bathroom, toothbrushes standing tall next to each other on the cup, as if they belong together. It’s Kara having a favorite side on your bed -the one close to the window, in case of emergencies- and you respecting that because that’s her side even when she’s not here.

It’s laying down in a spooning position with less clothing than most friends would stand to not wear around each other, and sharing one single blanket.

But your mind, your mind is here but also not. You’re also creating, conjuring things that are not happening. You dream of kisses with toothpaste still on. And wandering hands. You fantasize of whispered ‘I love you’s’, and moans, and breathy names.

Kara holds your hand under the blanket. “What’s on your mind?” She whispers so softly, if the world wasn’t so quiet right now, you would have missed it.

You breathe out, knowing exactly what’s on your mind. She is sleeping right next to you, but she will never mess with you. And that breaks your heart every single time. “We forgot to take the clothes out of the washing machine.” You fake. “They’ll charge me extra for it.”

“Hm.” She turns around to look at you, so close you’re almost sharing the same pillow. “I could’ve sworn you were thinking of something else.”

“Like what?”

“Well,” Kara licks her lips, blue eyes dark by something else besides the lack of light. “the same thing I was, maybe.” Her hand goes up your arm, stroking it lightly and tender.

“And what’s that?”

Her hand travels up, up, from your arms, to your shoulder, to your neck. There’s no way she thinks this is normal ‘best friends’ behavior. If she does, then you think you need to evaluate all of her friendships.

But Kara breathes you in, swallows you whole with just one look. She opens her mouth to answer, and you only realize how extremely close she is when, by doing so, her lips brush on yours lightly. It’s not a kiss, but your heart beats enthusiastically, filled with anticipation and sheer desire.

“That at least I got you in my head.” She confesses, breath hot on your own agaped mouth. And you two are sharing more than just a breath. You’re sharing this moment, this eternity, this infinitude of moments.

“Kara.” You whine her name as if you’re begging, craving, aching for more.

“Y/N.” She breathes excited. Then her mouth is crashing into yours and your head is spinning.

You’re not in your head. This is happening, it’s real, it’s definitely palpable. Because your hands are everywhere, and her hands are everywhere. But your mouths and tongues are in the same place, and wow. Wow.

“Y/N. Y/N.” She smiles your name out of her lips and holy shit. Is this what you’ve been missing all along? Your mind is powerful, but it’s nothing compared to the reality of what’s happening. “You’re my favorite person.”

“Kara, God, I’m so in love with you. I can’t be stuck inside my head anymore.”

“Then be here, my love. Because I’m here, and I’m in love with you.”

Your mind is powerful and it keeps conjuring up scenarios where you and Kara are together. But the good thing about it now, is that you can just make it happen when you’re with her. And you shouldn’t forget real life is so much better than fantasy. Also, you should stop forgetting your laundry on the washing machine so often.

“Mom, I threw up.” You stand in front of her, the bathroom, lighting up your silhouette. “Mom?” Nudging her a bit, she fluttered her eyes open and asked what happened. “I threw up.” Your voice was raspy, the both of you could hear the sickness in it. Moving out of your moms way, she got up and left into the light of the blaring bathroom. Taking the opportunity to get into her bed, she came back out with a wash cloth,

“Do you feel hot?” Kara asked, thinking back to all the nights her older sister was sick and Eliza would be there to comfort her, not just that but make her feel better. She was almost always awake when this would happen, as she wanted to make sure her sister wasn’t in need of her own help. Now that the superhero had her own daughter, this information came in handy, but the kid hadn’t been so seriously sick since the adoption and moving in. You nodded your head, mumbling in agreement.

“My tummy hurts, too.” Kara wasn’t sure how to respond with something would psyhically help, “I’m sorry, honey, I know sleep will help.” You groan at her and turn over in her mother’s covers.

“No,” You whined, “it really hurts, mom.” Kara’s heart skipped a beat, from worry but also from guilt. She was always worried for her daughter, but Kara had never been sick here on Earth, she didn’t know how to specifically comfort her daughter, or even make her feel better like Eliza always had.

“You stay right here,” Kara laid the wash cloth on her daughter's forehead and moved out to her dark kitchen, ringing her sister.

“Alex, Y/n isn’t feeling well at all. She threw up, and I just don’t know how to make the sickness stop. You know I’ve never been sick. I need some help. Call me back, thanks.” Stopping the voice message, she took a second thinking about who could help her at a time like this.

“Kara, what are you doing calling me at this time of night?”

“Y/n’s sick and I don’t know what else to do to help her. I don’t want to give her some medicine and it kill her, she’s so fragile.”

“Your not gonna kill her, Kara-” Kara cut her adoptive mom off.

“I might,” Eliza could tell she was stressed.

“You won’t. She’s human Kara, she’ll be alright for the night.”

“Are you sure? She said her stomach hurts? How do I help with that? She threw up too.”

“You can make sure she doesn’t need to throw-”

“Y/n?” Kara blurted out, watching you run back into the bathroom and let the rest of your stomach go.

“Pull her hair back,” Kara pulls back your hair, wincing at the smell and tucked her phone between her shoulder and ear. “Make sure she doesn’t drink anything for a little while after throwing up, she might throw it all up again.”

“She's not a little baby.” Kara began to stroke your hair gently.

“But she will need fluids, just not right after. Make a washcloth for her, oh, hun, don’t forget to check her temperature. You guys try to get some sleep for the night and I’ll be over in the morning. Goodnight, Kara.”

“Eliza, I don't-” She hung up. Kara slumped over, catching her phone, holding most of your hair with the other hand, whilst setting her phone aside. Turning her focus back to you, she saw you were just hovering over the toilet. “Feeling better?” Her only answer was more chunks of last night's dinner flying into the toilet. After finally getting you clean of sickness from changing your clothes, wiping your face and doing the same to the bathroom, you and Kara got cozy in her bed.

“Sleep, baby. Tomorrow we’ll go to Alex and make sure you get better.”

“Mommy?”

“Yes…?”

“I want you to make me better, I’m not a patient.”

“Go to sleep, we’ll talk in the morning.” She kissed your red cheek.

The next morning…

You fluttered your eyes open to the noise of a voice coming from the kitchen. Your head ached, throat was dry and you were cold, so cold, even in your mom's thick covers. Again hearing someone in the kitchen. Kara was either trying to learn how to cook again, Alex was here or you were being robbed which didn't have much of a chance of being true.

“Moooom…” You groaned, the other voice abruptly stopping and she came into view from around the corner, immediately smiling when she saw you.

“How's my girl? Feeling better?” Before you could respond she continued almost excitedly. “I have some medicine, you said your stomach hurt? Does anything else hurt? Your head, do you have a runny nose, what about your throat, honey?” She was leaning over you, in an overbearing type of way.

You groaned again, “Everything.”

“Everything…?” Kara was confused and didn't understand how everything could be wrong, but tried to process it. “Okay… I’ll be right back…” She ran back to her computer when there was a knock on the door, and you called out for her again.

“Just a minute, Y/n/n,” She opened the door, “Eliza…!” She wasn't sure if she should be happy or overwhelmed.

“Kara! How is she feeling?” Kara took a deep breath.

“She told me everything hurts,” Right on cue you groaned out for her again. She walked back in and sat on the bed next to you.

“What's up?” Tucking the hair behind your ear, you sniffled.

“Am I sick?” Kara rests her face.

“I’m afraid so. Let's take your temperature.�� When she moved to get up you pulled on her arm as she tried to get away. “Y/n, I’ll be right back.” She walked back to Eliza, as you move around trying to find a comfy position on the bed. Back in the kitchen Eliza had set her things down and was looking at the pile on the island table.

“Do you see the thermometer in there?” Eliza shook her head,moving back to her purse. “Damn,” Kara whispered to herself and started to look around for her coat.

“I brought one, Kara.” Eliza handed a thermometer out to her.

“No, I can go buy one, really, I need one anyway.” She chuckles lightly, gesturing to you in her bed. She could hear you groaning quietly from pain.

“Take it, make sure she’s not too hot.”

“Mommy come back now!” You yelled for her.

“Coming, sweetheart,” She took the thermometer and nodded in agreement, “Thank you.” Eliza smiled and as Kara raced over to you, Eliza came into view and saw how her daughter took care of you. She had no knowledge of sickness. Turning back towards the kitchen, wanting to make you something to eat Eliza saw the computer. It was open to a tab about how to care for a sick kid. Under the website ‘Wiki How’

“104.2? Is that bad?”

“What! 104? I’m calling Alex.”

“What? Is 104 a high temp?” Kara questioned unsure. You, on the verge of going back to sleep, your mom came and woke you up.

“Stooop! I was almost asleep.” You harshly move away from her, annoyed people were waking you up.

“I’m sorry, we have to go. Y/n,” She tried to pick you up, but your squirming was not helping. “Y/n, this is not the time.” She warned and you whined. “What's wrong? What's wrong?” She asked, starting to sound exhausted.

“I don't want to go.”

“I wish I didn't have to take you there, baby, but it'll make you feel better.” She tried again and you accepted her, dangling your arms around her neck loosely.

“Promise?”

“Promise.” Kara leaped out the window, Eliza on the phone with Alex who was getting you a bed made in MedBay.

You recently moved on with your girlfriend, Samantha, and her daughter, Ruby. The little girl liked you a lot and was overjoyed when her mother announced her.Everything was very peaceful; to be honest, since you became who you are now, the two girls have been your safe haven. Even if you could run fast, you wished you could pause time whenever you were with them.But recently something felt wrong, and Sam seemed strange; it all started when she said she would go on a trip, but when she came back, she didn't remember. At first, you thought she was just tired, but things like this happened more, and the cherry on top was a new villain, a Kryptonian named Reign.

Today, Sam promised you she would be home early to spend the evening with you and Ruby, so you waited for her even if her daughter was too exhausted and went to sleep. It was past midnight when she came back. She was sound and safe, but something was weird; she seemed disconnected. "Sam?" you asked, and she looked at you puzzled.

"Y/n, what are you doing up? It's late," she said.

"I know, I've been waiting for you for like 3 hours," you replied dryly. She examined your angry face, then her eyes traveled to the table when she saw an empty champagne bottle. Thankful for your speedster's metabolism, you don't get drunk easily.

"Did I forget something?" she asked shyly, and you scuffed,

"Did you—are you okay, Sam?" you asked, annoyed by her attitude.

"Are you angry?" she asked carefully.

"Me? No, but her, yes" you replied, and she looked to the staires "She waited for you. You promised to be here tonight, Sam, not just for us but also for her. Honnestly I wouldn't be mad if it just missed a date, but we talk about Ruby." you said, and despite all your effort, she could hear the anger in your tone

"I'm sorry, Y/n I swear. It's just been so chaotic lately that I'm not sure what happened." She explained that while she took a step toward you, but you took a step back.

"I'm not the one to whom you should apologize," you replied, and you started to walk to your shared bedroom. She followed you, but she was confused when she saw you take a blanket and a pillow and leave the room.

"Where are you going, love?" she asked, and her voice cracked

"I have to work early tomorrow; I'll sleep on the couch until you talk with her. Good night, Samantha," you replied, and you headed to the living room.

The next morning, when Sam woke up, she was met by cold sheets by her side. She looked at the clock: 8:37 a.m. 'Shit' she thought. She quickly prepared herself, made her way to the kitchen, and found a note on the counter:

'I dropped Ruby at school. You can pick her up if you want to apologize. Good day, Samy'

She smiled at herself when she recognized your handwriting; of course you were upset with her, but it was the first time you called her Samy since she came back last night. Fortunately for you, Sam freed her sheldush and spent the afternoon with Ruby. On their way home, they decided to buy pizza—a lot of pizzas. It's not easy to calm the appetite of a speedster. At home, Ruby turned on the TV, and she quickly called her mom.

"From the information we received, the superhero Purple Lighting had been attacked by three men. She's not in danger, but her doctor is concerned about her health, and Supergirl appears to be nowhere after her defeat against Reign last night," the journalist said. Sam started to worry; she knew you were able to heal faster than any other human, but from the pictures they show, they didn't miss you.

Ruby noticed her mom was crying when her phone rang. She held it up to her mom and muttered, 'It's Alex'.

"Alex, tell me she's okay now," she demanded.

"She'll be fine; we'll bring her in two hours, don't worry. She could be a little fuzzy, but it's okay, she's alright." Alex replied. Two hours later, she kept her promise, and you were with your two favorite girls again.

"Hey girls, I'm home," you exclaimed when you came back. They broke your leg, some limbs, and your left wrist.

"Y/n!" Ruby greeted you with a hug, but of course she made sure not to touch your bandages.

"Hi, little princess. I missed you too," you replied while you ran your hand over her hair. Sam walked just after, and she started to cry. "Hey Samy. I'm sorry," you apologized. She shook her head and hugged you just after her daughter stepped aside. Her grip was firmer than usual, but that didn't bother you. You knew she was worried, so it was okay.

"I thought you were dead," she confessed. "Oh no, Arias, you should do more than that if you want to kill me," you said as you caressed her cheek. "And I can't leave you now; I have to marry you and cry with you when Ruby goes off to college," you joked. And the little Arias gasped.

"Wait, did you just?" she asked. and you played the dumb

"What? I don't know what you're talking about," you said, and she laughed. During your interaction with Ruby, you didn't note that her mother's eyes turned darker for a moment and she was focusing on your heartbeat to make sure you were okay. "I don't know about you, but I'm hungry," you exclaimed, and they led you to the couch. You spent the night with your favorite girls; Sam made up for the last night, and you were happy to see the smile on Ruby's face.

A few hours later, your girlfriend assisted you in cleaning, changing your clothes, and cleaning everything in your room. "Hey Samy baby, please come rest with me," you pouted, and she smiled,

"OK." She made her way to the bed and lied beside you. She examined your wounds. "Is it painful now?" she asked, and you nodded.

"Yeah, but don't worry, tomorrow I will be alright again." You kissed her. "Now come, I need to cuddle to forget this awful day," you whispered, and she carefully placed you on top of her. "I love you, Sam," you said softly.

"I love you too Y/n. Now rest," she said quietly, and you were fast asleep a few minutes later.

The next morning, you were woken up by your phone. You looked at the screen; it was Alex at 9 a.m.

"Hey Alex." You said,

"Sorry to bother you, but we have an update for the guys from yesterday." She replied,

"Oh," you were now fully awake. "Tell me, who are they?"

"That's the problem. We found their clothes and their weapons, but we didn't find them. At least not in one piece. It seems like Reign just burned them with her heat vision," she said, and you felt a knot in your throat.

"But why?" you asked, confused. "Since she destroyed Supergirl, why would she avenge another vigilante?" You added,

"We don't know, but I will call you if I have more information." She said, and she hung on.

You were about to leave when you noticed a note on the bed on Sam's side.

'It was just a threat for anyone who would want to attack you again ;)'

You frowned your eyebrows, and on the right corner, you noticed Reign's logo. You let out a nervous chuckle.

"So, does a Kryptonian who annihilated Kara seem to have a soft spot for me?" you asked no one, "Oh sh*t Y/n, you'll be in trouble."

“Do I get a gun?” you asked after putting on bullet proof gear.

Maggie scoffed, “you think I am going to give you a gun? That’s funny.”

“It was worth a try,” you shrugged.

“You don’t need a gun when you’ve got force fields.”

“Are we going to stop a robbery? Car chase? Ooh a...”

Maggie chuckled. “You’re cute, I’m a detective officer not a patrol officer.”

“So what do you do?”

“First off, you don’t need this.” Maggie gestured to the bullet proof vest. “till necessary. Second detectives don’t have your typical police cars, we’re stealthy, we find information. Our ride is unmarked cars.”

“What information do you find?” You asked leaning against Maggie’s desk

“We find anything and everything about suspects, their high school, the clubs they join, the name of their family pet, their sister’s name, parents name, job, friends. Everything.”

“So what do we do now.”

“Research.”

You tapped a pen on your knee continuously. The constants ticks made Maggie look at you with a raised eyebrow. She rolled closer to the right side of her desk, took out a key and opened the bottom cabinet. The detective pulled out a thick beige folder and handed it to you.

“What is this?”

“Victims.”

“Victims? Of?”

“Look through them.”

The file revealed multiple women with rape at the bottom.

“All of these women were rapped?” You flipped though several pages.

“You’ve worked with Alex and Kara before, they both go way to fast into action. Punching their way into things. We go the whole way, we want the man responsible to rot in hell. We find evidence and we don’t hold back and we do it for them.”

“Kara and Alex catch the guy. Kara’s a reporter so she has to get evidence.”

“Most of the time, Alex or Kara catch the guys but they get away from lack of evidence. Little Danvers may have evidence but she does not get to control the jury, or how the other side uses the evidence.”

“Sawyer, come have a look at this.”

You followed Maggie down the hall. The other officer played a footage. A view over the city.

“Real-estate, so what.”

“Wait,” The camera flew closer towards a window. Past the window was a girl changing.

“This is disgusting,” you glared at the screen.

“We’ve got a peeping Tom,” Maggie crossed her arms.

“It gets worse,” the screen cut to a bed room corner showcasing the whole master bed room.

A blond millennial woman in a pink shirt and grey sweatpants, walked from what was assumed the bathroom towards the bed. Seconds later a man in a mask pushed her onto the bed. There was obvious signs of struggling from the girl. You turned away as the man ripped open her sweatpants and began thrusting into the woman.

“He’s not a peeping Tom, he’s a serial rapist.”

You sat in Maggie’s passenger seat blankly staring at the the dashboard.

“Feet off the dash!” Maggie was as equally as pissed as your were.

“He clearly is the one in the video! Why can’t we use that?”

“We know it’s him, but for all we know it could be a man in a mask.”

“Ugh!!!!” You kicked at dash board. “You know what makes this more frustrating!”

“You kicking my car?”

“No, it’s that parents are more afraid of their kids being gay than they are of their kids being rapist or sex offenders.”

“At least your parents didn’t kick you out of the house.”

“You’ve got a point.”

It has been a few days since you and Maggie saw those tapes. You were currently twirling your pen going over notes Maggie took home. You had refused to play any games, even when the rest of Superfriends told you it would be a good way to destress.

“Everything is a dead end right now.” Maggie sighed, explaing to Superfriends about the case.

“Did you guys talk to any of the victims?”

“Yeah we did, one of the ladies said he took her necklace.”

“Did he take anything else from them. You know beside this whole thing?”

“We’re looking through it now. We did find that he went to this coffee shop frequently.” Maggie responded.

“Any of the victims connect there?”

“No nothing. I’m gonna check it out tomorrow see if any of the employees notice him or look through cameras if they have any.”

“Bring me along?”

“Wouldn’t have it any other way.”

“I know this case is important but can we get on with the game?” Alex frowned.

You opened your mouth to say something but Alex stopped you before you could.

“I’m not being insensitive (n/n). I’m very annoyed and as pissed as you are. But the point of tonight was to get your mind off this and have a mental break.” She picked up the dice.

“Lena’s on her IPad going through projects, and Kara is writing an article.” You pointed your thumbs to the side.

Nia peeked over Kara’s shoulder. “Actually they’re sexting each other.” She sipped her wine.

“What now?” You peeked at Lena’s IPad.

“Little Danvers,” Maggie smirked.

“What! Let me have a moment with my girlfriend.”

“That moment better be CONSENSUAL!” You threw popcorn at Kara.

“Why are you only throwing popcorn at me! Not that I mind.” Kara popped a few piece into her mouth.

“Cause I expected it from Lena and not you.”

“The workers say he comes often but doesn’t usually stay.” Maggie sighed.

“The other regulars say he just gets coffee and leaves.” You rested your chin on one hand.

“It’s not a dead end yet we can still check the cameras.”

The black and white video showed the suspect parking his car, walking into the coffee shop and leaving in the opposite direction. After several videos of the same action you and Maggie got up from your seats.

“Where ever he goes it must be in walking distance if he doesn’t take his car.”

“Mags... you know how in shows people rent out a storage unit to hide evidence or dead bodies.”

“Yeah what about it?”

“There’s one across the street.”

“Get ready with your shields.” Maggie pulled out her gun from her holster.

“We’re not calling for backup?”

“By the time backup gets here he could be gone.”

You followed after Maggie. Your heart beated against your chest. Clear honeycomb like patterns surrounded your two hands.

Besides a couple of people and a few boxes the units were sickenly quiet. The two of you reached a corridor with flickering lights. The circuit was either cut or it was done on purpose.

Your hands were shaking at the thought. Fear flashed across your face and the shields began to glitch. Maggie on the other hand pulled out a flashlight and sneaked with it over her gun.

Maggie slowed her steps as one of the units were opened. It was deserted yet filled with a twin bed, a few boxes, a blue bike, what seems to be a beaten teddy bear, water bottles, paper towels all lightened by a desk lamp.

“Dispatch this is 129F40, I’m gonna need back up at Studio Self Storage on Conova and Mar-”

A loud yell and a slam against metal met the officer and dispatchers.

“(Y/n!)”

Maggie joined kicking the man away after he threw a punch at your face. He was not giving you any time to recover and use your shields.

He moved his attention onto Maggie after you struggled to stand from the two head traumas you recieved. Maggie was good but he wrestled the gun out of her hands. He overpowered her and slammed her against another metal door.

Maggie pushed maneuvered her legs up against the wall and pushed him back against the other side. She threw punches.

You got up, crossed your arm on your shoulders and pushed forth a shield to move the man away from Maggie.

“All officers and firefighters calling all back up, officer is in distress. Officer 129F40 is in distress.”

Dispatcher said over the radio. Alex immediately looked over at J’onn. “That’s Maggie’s number!”

They heard several grunts, as they immediately recognized Maggie and your voices. They also heard a whooshing sounds knowing that that was you and your shields.

Alex reaches towards her ear to activate the com.

“Kar-“

A gunshot echoed around the room before it went silent.

Kara rushed towards you and Maggie as she reached the self storage. She led the police and found Maggie sitting next to you. Kara rushed over scanning your body for the gunshot wound.

“She’s fine. She has a concussion and a few bad scratches.” Maggie said.

“A few? Her eye is swollen shut and her shoulder is dislocated, don’t forget to mention the other cuts on her face.”

You grinned at Kara. “We got him.”

Kara took a look further down the corridor and found a glaring bloody man with his hands cuffed through the bed frame.

You sat on the bed at Luthor Family Children’s Hospital. You got most of the injuries from the first surprise attack. Your arm was in a sling and several bandages on your face. Maggie only had a busted lip.

“I can’t believe you two went in with no back up.” Alex scolded.

“To be fair, they did catch the rapist.” Lena said from one of the chairs. “And without the help of Supergirl.”

“What took you so long anyways Kara?” Alex looked over at her sister.

Kara turned red.

“You weren’t!” You looked between Kara and Lena.

“Well we still proved that National City does need police officers and detectives after all.”

“No we proved that Superfriends is a good team. Half of this duo doesn’t even get paid.” You were still upset. “But Kara could take a page from Maggie’s book, instead of ogling at Lena.”

“Hey!”

While they reunited every so often, hugs and sweet talks, Eliza cooking a nice meal for them, Alex probably snuggling into Maggie’s arms, while Kara is out there, finishing her shift at being Supergirl. You were probably spending your time at the nearest bar, refusing to go to the family reunion.

They have had their problems with Jeremiah, maybe that’s where you got your rebel side and problem with authority. Alex also had it, but not as much as you.

You are not going to lie, you have a few bad habits but everyone does right?. I don’t know what they do such a fuss over such silly things like ending up in the hospital because you forgot that you don’t have to mix vodka and MDMA, it was just a little mistake. A mistake that your family loves to remind you, that and the times you appear out of nowhere passed out on the couch with a bottle in your hand. You were young, two years younger than Alex, so they freaked out a lot, plus Alex had turned into a good girl all out of sudden making you look even worse.

Since your last party night in National City, which you end up in the hospital again, you left and never came back. Sadly, you didn’t end up in a very good place.

It isn’t like you don’t love your family, you do. But their disapproving look at your bad antics makes you want to run away. Especially Alex, the girl had her bad past, such as yourself, she used to spend her time in jail and drunk and blah blah blah, and now, she thinks she can judge you. If it wasn’t for the green guy she would still be in jail.

Clark had told you about the family reunion Kara was planning and that you had to go.

“I hope Y/N comes this time, I miss her, I wonder where she is” Kara asked her sister, after she got to change her costume off.

“you know her, she’s probably at some bar, drinking her ass off” Alex said, not being really happy with the idea of having you here. It isn’t that she hates you, but she’s really bitter about you leaving.

“Alex! , you’re talking about your sister” Eliza said, scolding her daughter.

“my problematic, alcoholic and even junky sister” Alex said, sipping on her glass of wine.

“do I need to remind you about your past?” Eliza said, raising an eyebrow.

“fair enough, but I wasn’t that bad, how long has been since we saw her?” Alex ask.

“it’s been a long time actually, I miss her, we used to be so close.” Kara said, looking sadly at her mom.

“I miss bee too, she’s my babygirl, she got a little bit out of control" Eliza said, sighing deeply.

“a little bit? as far as we know, she could be in an alley seeing unicorns-” Alex stop when she saw you standing in the doorway, you were glaring at her.

“I’m not in an alley, but I have to admit that sounds better than being here” Alex was pretty much speechless. You changed a lot, the bubbly and annoyingly energetic self , was now with a stone cold face, and your eyes, that used to be a dark blue were now a pale grey, no emotion seem to be there.

“…hey” That was the only thing that Alex managed to say, but judging by your intense glare, and how you walk past her instead of hugging her, she knew that you weren’t going to be nice.

“fuck off” You mutter still glaring her, walking past her, your destination was your mom., that was smiling at you.

“wow, okay! Hi ! where have you been? you’re so beautiful-We missed you a lot-are you staying? you have to stay!” Kara said, getting over excited, embracing you in a bone-crushing hug. She frowns at the mixed smell of tobacco and alcohol in your clothes, but she keeps the smile on her face.

“I just came to say hi, I’m not staying” You said, chuckling a little at her excitement. Kara almost drops you after she heard you.

“what? why not?! , t-there’s pie! you-y-you love pie!” Kara said, a worried look on her face.

“Kara, sweetheart..I hate pie” You said, walking to your mom that was waiting for you with open arms.

“hey mom” You mumbled, Eliza rushing to hug you.

“Sweetheart, you’re so tall!” You mom said, not daring to let you go.

“it may be the drugs-ouch!” Alex said, Maggie hitting her arm at hearing her comment. You already know who she is, she was the one who opened the door for you.

“what’s up with you?!” Maggie whispered to Alex, the D.E.O agent huff.

“where’s dad? Clark told me that you guys got him back” You asked, eating one of the french fries that were on the table. Earning a disapproving look from your mom.

“it’s a long story-” Kara started but you stop her.

“he got back with Lilian right?” You said, eating a few more french fries.

“h-how did you-”

“he visit me the other day, told me to stay away from trouble and the Luthors, but I thought he would at least visit you too, oh my god this is so good mom” You said, your mom now taking the french fries away from you.

“he visited you?!” Alex exclaimed, not believing that he had actually visited you. Even when he was around, you and he didn’t have the best relationship.

“are you deaf?”

“did he said anything else?” He did said a lot, but they didn’t need to know that.

“…nop, just that” Kara heart your heart race a little bit after saying that and send a look to Alex.

“you’re lying”

“if I were lying you wouldn’t even notice Alex” You said glaring at your older sister.

“what did he say? tell me exactly what he said-” Alex said walking closer to you

“don’t get all C.I.A with me-”

“I will if that means you will tell me the truth-”

“enough! , Alex go take a walk, Maggie could you calm her down?” Eliza said, Maggie was already dragging Alex away.

“copy that Mama Danvers, let’s get some fresh air ” After Maggie and Alex left, Eliza turn to you.

“we are going to talk-” You know where this was going to end up, and right now, you should be heading back to Gotham.

“I can’t, I just came to say hello, that’s all” You said, eyeing the door.

“We haven’t seen you in years Y/N-” Kara started.

“ let your mom know how are you-” Eliza said walking to you.

“I’m fine, see?” You said, turning around in a mocking way.

“amazing, splendid, living the best time of my life, yay!” Kara frowns at your words.

“you smell like cigarette-”

“I thought you stop smoking!” Your mom said, the same disappointed look you are were used to get from, well, everyone. Coming back was a bad idea.

“coming here was a bad idea, I’m going back home-” You say walking to the door, not caring about your family protests.

“This is your home!” Eliza says.

“It was good to see you and all, take care you two, Kara punch Alex for me please-” You said now standing in front of the door.

“no wait! , don’t go yet, just stay a little bit more-” Kara said, grabbing your arm.

“I can’t I have to-” Right when you were about to open the door, it opens itself, revealing the man you hate most.

“Y/N, you’re not going anywhere” A sigh escapes from your mouth.

“Jeremiah, I thought you were alergic to family-”

“I’m not going to let you go back to that bar kid, I thought I told you to stay out of trouble-” You scoff, his presence making want to scream

How he dares to step into this house after all he has done to you and this family?. Kara could see your hands turning into fists, claw clenching and your eyes sending imaginary dagger at him. “I haven’t touched a bar in a long time, and you know a lot about getting in trouble right? you’re the one working with the phsyco after all-How is she anyway? she must be missing her lab rat-”

“Y/N-” He says in a threatening voice, you felt as he was mocking you.

“move” You didn’t sound as yourself anymore, and that scared the Danvers family. Jeremiah shifts uncomfortably in his place, knowing what you were capable of, but also knowing that you would not do anything stupid in front of Eliza or your sisters. He clears his throat and gives you the “listen to me” look pointing his finger at you.

“We’re going to have a nice day as a family-” You tried to get through him but he rest his disgusting hand in your shoulder which you slap away, making Kara and Eliza looked at each other wide eyed.

“Dad, move” You groan, getting all in you to not punch him. Kara was actually scared that you may hurt Jeremiah.

“you’re part of this family Y/N, I don’t care how much you beg, you’re not getting out of here-” That’s it, you’ll get out of here or he’s dead.

“Move! I don’t want to stay here! much less with a traitor like you!” You say, making Eliza gasp and Jeremiah glares at you.

“Y/N!” Eliza exclaims, you didn’t bother to look at her already knowing how distress she is. All that you wanted today was visit your mother and your alien sister, possibly see Alex too and not fight with her, and steal some popstickles from Kara. But nothing went as you planned.

“now move, or I’m going to make you and I’ll enjoy it while I do it so” You say. Kara could hear your heart stammering in your chest and you breathing turning a little uneven, but what it surprise her was the low growl that came out of your throat, she must be things, at least that’s what she thinks….if she only knew.

“You never listen do you?” Jeremiah spats at you, and you smirk. You get out of the apartment, making sure to carve a few words into his skull.

“I do, I listen to everything, and I see everything…I know everything dad” You said, the last sentence making Jeremiah looked at you in surprise, the atmosphere change, you were the one that was playing to be the mouse, and now Jeremiah was the one trembling, as if you were holding your finger in the trigger. You could easily spit all the truth, but they would not believe you. How could they? you couldn’t say “hey mom, dad killed me in order to protect his ass from Lilian, but don’t worry Mama Luthor bring me back from the dead and now I am a freak with crazy powers that I can’t control yay!”

“Y/N?” Kara call you out. Taking out of the glaring contest between you and Jeremiah.

“I have to go now, have a nice day” You mumbled, walking away from your family.

Outside the building was Maggie and Alex, the detective trying to calm down her girlfriend. You rush to the meeting are where Alfred was supposed to pick you up, but you forget that Maggie and Alex were outside.

“Your Dad is at the family reunion, you should run back there, he may disappear again” You say walking away, but Alex was not going to let you go so easily. She used to be the one sticking by your side the most. And when Kara appeared and Jeremiah disappeared, she used to hold you tighter at night, until everything went downhill, and both of you got separate ways.

After Alex got better with the help of J’onn, she tried to fix your relationship with her, but it was too late, you were already packing your things to leave. She blames herself for that everyday, she always has.

“Maggie can you wait for me inside?” Alex asks.

“sure, bye Y/N” Maggie waves at you and you smile at her.

“we need to talk”

“I don’t think there’s anything to discuss” You said, your eyes roaming around the street, searching for Alfred.

“what’s up with you? for real this time, where were you? we were all worried about you! you just disappear one day, if it wasn’t for Clark we would never know you were still alive!” Clark had only found you because you wanted him to. And you’re here standing in front of her because Diana had told you to, the Goddess can be very convincing when hugs and sweet talks are involved, actually, you would do anything she wants, you have a soft spot for her.

“would that even matters? you were busy sleeping in jail or avoiding Kara to even noticed that I left” You said, with more venom in your words that you had intended to. Well, Diana had told you to speak with the truth no matter how bad it was. You spot the black SUV, and start walking, ignoring Alex but like I already said, she was not going to let you go so easily. She grabs your arm, shoving you towards her.

Inside the car

“should we help her sir?”

“she’s talking with her sister, I don’t see why we should help her Alfred”

“well, I think you’re aware of Lady Y/N Danvers condition sir, she can’t be left unsupervised in violet or triggering environments, her arguing with her sister could trigger-”

“I am aware about her ..“condition” Alfred, but she is doing better, she’s not going to snap at her sister, plus.. it does not concern us”

“but sir Diana said-”

“Diana is not her babysitter or her Doctor, drop it”

“yes sir”

“you guys find out that I left a week later, just because the school called mom asking why I was not going” You say. Alex looks at you with pity. She knows her family had fucked up, but everyone makes mistakes!

“you were pretty shy and quiet, sometimes I even forgot you were there-” You scoff, slapping away her hand on your arm.

“oh shut up Alex, I had always spent time trying to talk to you, same as Kara but you always told me to shut up, I didn’t exist for you, let’s keep it that way”

“And that’s the problem!, I don’t even know you anymore!, all these years hoping that you were safe, that you were going to come back, you left just like dad did!” You sigh, running your fingers through your hair. You looked at her, she didn’t look sad, she looked exasperated.

“you pushed me away…don’t play the innocent card Alex…I have to go-” You say, walking towards the car.

“where? where are you going?” Alex asks following you. You didn’t want to tell her, but she would not stop until you tell her so…

“Gotham” You say just a few meters away from the car

“but-”

“keep an eye on dad” You said once you open the door. Alex tried to look inside but you didn’t let her. She frowns at your words

“what? why? he’s okay”

“just…be careful with him, that’s all I’m going to say…be careful” And with that, you left, leaving a very confused and concerned Alex.

Alex ends up going back to Kara’s apartment, Maggie waiting outside the door for her.

“she left? are you okay love” Maggie rushes to her girlfriend.

“yeah, goddamit I think she’s in trouble” Alex mutters to her, the detective smiles sadly at her.

“by the looks of it, she’s always in trouble hmm?”

“do you know where Gotham is?” Alex asks. The name sound familiar to her but she couldn’t put a finger on it.

“oh she lives there? that explains a lot” Maggie says, cringing a little.

“what? i-is it bad? it’s a bad place?” Alex says worried, and Maggie just nods at her.

“it’s not the best city to live in-it’s like a major city from crime and-” Kara burst into the door, looking at the Sanvers duo, her face being a mix between sadness and confusion.

“first of all, what the hell just happen” She exclaims making Alex sigh.

“and second… I heard everything, what does she mean by keeping an eye on Jeremiah?”

“maybe she’s just worried about him” Alex says.

“yeah, that’s not possible, she almost tackle him when he stepped in the door, she is really angry with him” Kara says, remembering the beautiful family reunion you two had, and your weird behavior.

“something’s wrong, something’s really wrong with her” Alex says. Maggie puts her arm around Alex’s waist, squeezing it gently.

“I do have that feeling too, what are we going to do?” Kara says, knowing that you weren’t going to disappear so easily this time, she wasn’t going to let you.

“right now, eat, we think about it later, come on Maggie, let me introduce you to my Dad” Alex say, remembering that her dad was there. Kara jumps with excitement.

“oh this is going to be fun!” Meanwhile, you were chatting with your friend.

“did you already have your family reunion?” Bruce asks you.

“why do you care? as long as you know, I could be an orphan” You say, eyeing the bottle of whiskey.

“but you’re not, you have a family…you should be grateful for that” Bruce said, grabbing the bottle and pouring you a glass of it, making you smile at him, he knows you so well.

“…I am…where are we going now?” You ask him, taking a sip from the ridiculous expensive whiskey.

“back to Gotham, Joker’s back up again with his… jokes” You scoff at him.

“are you sure you don’t want to stay? I can deal with the Joker by my own” He says. He knows that you will never admit how much you miss your family, if you’re lucky to have one, then you should with them.

“but who would take care of Harley then?” You say, smirking at him. He glares at you, remembering all the times he has found you sneaking out with the psychotic blonde.

“I can do that too, Lilian is here, and she’s planning something big, normally I wouldn’t care since is not my city…but your family is here…you should stay” You sigh, drinking your glass of whiskey in a row. You looked at him, not enjoying that he had taken the part of big brother with you.

“don’t bother me Bruce…you get all sappy with me” He chuckles.

“There’s a building where you can stay, I’ll send all your equipment just in case and I’ll send your motorbike too-” He says, already knowing that you want to stay.

“you don’t need to do that you know?” You say, counting mentally all the times he helped you.

“of course I do, I owe you that much and….you’re the only person I can bare” He says, now he was the one counting mentally all the times you had saved his ass.

“what about me sir?” Alfred asks, making you chuckle.

“you make me doubt sometimes Alfred” Alfred stopped the car in front of a big and fancy building. Bruce gets out of the car, same as Alfred.

Alfred opens the car’s trunk

“clothes” Says Alfred handing you one bag.

“and money” He says handing you the other bag. You sigh, not really sure of what to do.

“are you sure you don’t need help?” You ask, Bruce just smirks at you and puts a pair of keys in your pocket

“don’t make me change my mind Y/N” He says, walking to the car

“for being so cold and dark…you can be pretty nice sometimes batsy” You playfully say.

“I’m already regretting it” He said, getting into the car.

“if you need a hand with the Luthors, just call”

“will do” You begin walking inside the building.

“and Y/N-” You stop at the door.

“what is it this time?”

“…try to stay away from the bars or I’ll send Diana”
