The Mandalorian will receive a theatrical film titled The Mandalorian & Grogu. The film will be directed by Jon Favreau, and produced by Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, and Dave Filoni. Production on the film will begin in 2024.

According to leaks awhile ago Disney was possibly entertaining the notion of somehow reviving Kylo Ren/Ben Solo in a future movie. I would definitely be here for it. One of the things that many star wars fans loved about the EU was the Skywalker Family drama & lineage. Hell my first ever Star Wars story reading was the Cade Skywalker stories.. Disney has already shown and made it clear it's not bringing back old concepts in the same way. I feel Bringing back Ben Solo and having him and Rey establish the Skywalker lineage in this new continuity would be a great salvage. Hell probably would make the lineage stronger 😅. Not to mention a lot of fans loved Mara Jade and Luke Skywalker relationship. So the Ben & Ren story could also serve to fill that void. Not to mention the lack of power Luke was in comparison to his legends self. In this way this New Ben Solo could be what Luke was to Legends. Meaning this overpowered Skywalker Jedi Grandmaster. It's said the George Lucas mentioned that Luke was what Anakin could've become had he been whole and not half cyborg 😅. In this new canons we have Anakin fell and due to injuries couldn't fulfill his potential.. Luke gave up being a Jedi for a decade+(Seemingly in Canon he didn't achieve even half as much as he did in legends) ..So Ben Solo to me (with fully functioning limbs + being a practicing Jedi for decades)could finally be that character in modern canon.

How would they bring him back. Listen Anakin is a literal chosen one who was created by the force 😂. Have either him or the force bring back Ben as a act of balance for the force😅.

With Grogu being able to live a long time + a New Skywalker lineage their will be countless new star wars stories to tell . Hopefully Disney takes it more serious when planning the future movies💯

I know this isn’t going to be what happens, but what I want so much is for the after the credits scene of Mandalorian season 3 to be Ahsoka and Sabine meeting Mando in a bar somewhere and offering him some obscene bounty to find Ezra (since obviously nothing else they’ve tried has worked, why not?). Because he’s bored and doing literally anything to avoid ruling Mandalore, he accepts. Then the Ahsoka show is her doing various other stuff and having fun adventures with Rex. The after the credits scene of Ahsoka is Mando walking back into the bar with Ezra and dropping a hog-tied Thrawn on the floor. Mando season four is just one big flashback of him and Grogu straight up bounty hunting Ezra (and Thrawn by accidental extension), while Ezra thinks Mando is actually out to kill him. Thrawn, who has grudgingly grown fond of Ezra, tries to help him escape. Hijinks ensue.

#then season 2 of Ahsoka is her and Ezra starting an actual successful Jedi school #and it all sets us up for a long-running Thrawn show that covers all of Timothy Zahn’s books #and the aftermath of Thrawn not being back like ten days after his banishment #and missing years instead #what are the consequences of getting space-whaled when you were supposed to come back with an army to save your people #give me that weird ethical dilemma that Ezra has to live with and deal with #like yeah he saved the rebellion #but what did he (unknowingly) condemn the Chiss to? #also I very much want live action Ar’Alani #thrawn #the mandalorian #din djarin #grogu #ahsoka tano #ahsoka show #ezra bridger #sabine wren

In hindsight it is kinda funny in an ironic sense that Rebels, the show where Bo-Katan is literally only featured in one two-part episode with both parts being 22 minutes long each, still made time to mention her sister multiple times, and then a few years later The Mandalorian Show That's All About Mandalorians Featuring Bo-Katan As The Co-Protagonist apparently can't find time to mention her once in an entire eight episode season where every episode is between 30 to 60 minutes long. Like it's still stupid and frustrating but in a cosmic sort of way it is somewhat amusing.

#whenever the ''they can't mention vital information cause it'll confuse newbies'' argument comes up in regards to star wars #rebels is ALWAYS the best counter argument #that's one thing i appreciate more about rebels as i'm rewatching it #that when it ties into other areas of the star wars universe they explain it in the simplest easiest way to understand possible #instead of just like. conveniently never mentioning things like bo's sister. or saw's sister. or ahsoka leaving the order. #y'know information that's VITAL to truly understanding those characters #but just. never comes up in any of their live-action appearances #at least not as of the time i'm posting this. ahsoka leaving the order will probably be mentioned in her show #but like it's still weird when they make a whole thing of her telling din she can't train grogu as a jedi #and the fact that she herself technically isn't one anymore conveniently isn't brought up as a reason for that #compared to rebels where she's literally just like ''yeah you guys should open the temple i can't cause i'm not a jedi anymore'' #rebels proves it really is that simple to just provide that kind of information in a quick and concise way so the newbies are all caught up #shut up tristan
