Maybe when you visit Hob at the university possibly to bring him lunch or just say hello, you hear someone a snide comment about him (maybe about the greys in his hair which you adore but he can be self conscious of or maybe he’s looking more disheveled with finals coming up so he doesn’t look so put together) and you just whirl around like ‘excuse me?’. This person will immediately flinch seeing your heated gaze and you step closer demanding for them to repeat themselves only for Hob you gently coax you back. You flick off the person and turn your attention back on Hob and smile so sweetly as you kiss his cheek or nose telling him how handsome he is

Hob couldn’t be anymore in love with you, especially since he typically he used to protecting and stand up for himself so to have someone else do it on his behalf makes his heart flutter like crazy

Maybe when one of Dream’s siblings unexpectedly visits the Dreaming and let’s say Desire, you will be Dream’s guard dog. If Desire makes a comment on how unsightly the Dreaming looks or how Dream should be less grumpy, you will glare at Desire. You don’t care if they’re an Endless, you are defending Dream. You will take Dream’s hand squeezing it tightly as you say ‘I think it’s time for you to leave, Desire. You are being a horrible guest’ and you don’t even try to listen to Desire as you drag Dream away (Desire is both a little offend but mostly amused with you). Meanwhile Dream is just stunned but soon smiles to himself as he hears you ramble on how Desire should be nicer to him and once Desire is out of sight Dream will kiss your cheek and thank you for saying something

These two are just so down bad for you and they just can’t comprehend how down bad you are for them enough that you’ll fight off gods/goddesses/demons/whatever
