this skirt wasn't a great fit last summer, but I've grown into it nicely. It's the reverse of my usual relationship with my clothes!

I love those moments of getting fatter where you start to subtly notice things like your clothes getting tighter, your appetite increasing, that one-off extra treat turning into a regular thing, and getting slightly more breathless doing physical activity. I think someone’s face getting chubbier is my favourite sign of weight gain? Like, indulging your appetite until your face fills out and you get a double chin and your cheeks and neck soften is just so hot, and such a cute look.

I suppose I should have expected it, but I kind of can't believe how I'm fattening up in these secondary places. My elbows have started to dimple a little when I extend my arm. Is it any wonder the sleeves on some of my shirts are getting tight?
