What I love about Donna Troy’s character is she turned sexist writing into a solid and complex character core. Like she went from being the caretaker and mom friend of the teen titans because she was a girl to being the caretaker and mom friend to everyone because that’s her. She takes care of everyone around her, she lives and breathes for everyone around her, not because she’s a female character that is written only for the benefit of the male characters around her, but because she has insecurities and she has fears. She lives and breathes for everyone around her because she believes if she didn’t she’ll lose all her worth, because to her, she’s only what she does to others. That’s why her friendship with Kory is so good and so realistic, because they’re both like that. That’s also why she was an easy victim for Terry, because people like him prey on people like her. And there’s something so realistic about that being the core characteristic of a girl, especially one who was not only raised by warriors, but fought beside a team that has always been the root of insecurity in its members (each TT member thinking they are beneath/worse then the other four). And again I want to highlight how incredibly realistic this depiction is, and how it all stemmed from sexism, because most of girls’/women’s insecurities stem from misogyny.
Also this is why her and Kory are the most deserving characters of their own run because the storyline is that easy, the arc is right there.

If you think about it not every Robin has a Super friend as some of y’all claim, but almost every Robin has an Amazon/Wonder Fam friend
Observe:
Dick - No Super
Jason - Biz
Tim - Kon
Steph - No Super
Damian - Jon
But w amazons:
Dick - Donna
Jason - Artemis
Tim - Cassie
Steph - No Wonder
Damian - Lizzie
And since Steph is the only one who doesn’t have one i present to you the concept of the century: Steph and Yara should be besties. I mean, both of them are pretty much forgotten by dc editorial and only making some small cameos here and there, so they should at least unite forces and be forgotten together💀

On The Supersons+Lizzie becoming the new Trinity.
I will accept on a few conditions. First Jon Kent AND Damian get aged down to Lizzie's age by like magic or something. Second, all 3 of them need their names changed Jon's legal name will be Superbaby Kent and superhero name will be Superbaby, Damian legal name Batbaby Al Ghul Wayne and his superhero name will be Batbaby solving the both Tim and Damian being Robin problem, and Lizzie's name will be Wonder Tot. No one will ever refer to them having ever been known under any other name until they become the new Trinity where only as their Superheroic Identities will be Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman but their civilian identities will still be Superbaby, Batbaby, and Wonder Tot. Aquababy did not die for the children of Silver Age Superheroes to be called names like Damian and Jon. They can still be Superheroes as babies ofc Batbaby will just start walking at a really young age and be a master of the blade and genius detective.
