(Characters: William Afton, Michael Afton, Elizabeth Afton)
(Pairing: Michael Afton x William Afton)
(TW: Incest, Underage)
(Word Count: 639)
“Daddy?” Elizabeth put down her dolls as she looked behind, revealing William sitting on their sofa, with Michael sitting right next to him, fumbling with his Foxy mask he was gifted by his father.
“What is it dear?” He tried to sound enthusiastic, but instead sounded tired due to stress eating at him. “Do you ever miss mommy?” Those words innocently left her mouth as William got choked up. “Excuse me?”
He accidentally came across as offended, he always did whenever someone brought his wife up. Michael however was more confused on why she would ever ask the question in the first place, knowing that she didn’t even remember their mother.
William was genuinely speechless, but he knew that he had to answer her before she would get into a tantrum, “Let’s say that I’m happy right now, with my family.” She wasn’t satisfied with that.
“You know thats not what I mean!” She stood up, “Do you miss mommy?” She repeated, a lot louder and angrier than before. Both Michael and William sighed at it. “Its a hard topic to discuss Elizabeth, but I-“ Elizabeth interrupts, following with a question that would leave William and Michael flabbergasted
“Could I be mommy instead?”
Obviously the idea of a kid asking their parent to marry them wasn’t new, they don’t understand the implications or even what it truly means to be in love with anyone yet.
To them its just so they can show their parent that they care about them, not anything romantic or akin to it- But to Michael, who knew that was the case, couldn’t help but to be somewhat mad,
It went further than being mad, he couldn’t help but to glance at William, who was understandably quiet at all of this.
“Elizabeth, you can’t marry father…” He tried to contain his composure, but his facade was quickly cracking. “Why?” Michael predicted that she would repeat that question over and over again, regardless if he gave her an actual answer or not.
“Because, you just can’t, you’ll understand it when you’re older.” He felt like he was his own father there, with how many times he’s heard it, “Oh.” Elizabeth came to a realization of something, whatever is it, Michael knew it wasn’t anything good, but he was hopeful.
“Is it because you want to marry daddy?”
That was the straw that broke the camels back, though the metaphorical camel in this situation was his brain, to put it bluntly
Those words made Michael stop thinking for a bit. He couldn’t answer that question, he could hardly move his body, it sent him straight into a shock.
Though one thing that when he finally could think properly again was how hot the house was, it wasn’t like it a few minutes ago. But he knew that it wasn’t the house, it was a problem that was deeply rooted into him.
Even William noticed his delay in response to Elizabeths question, “Michael.?” He definitely didn’t say his name in any tone, but it sounded rather…
…Seductive.
William also took note of the obvious blush that was forming on his sons face, putting two and two together, well it was clear as could be, Michael had feelings about his father…Well feelings would be undermining it, its more or less, Michael is in love with his father.
To Michael it was disgusting, having any romantic or sexual feelings is repulsive to say the least, of course it is, but he had to bear with those feelings, that was his problem.
It was a good five minutes before any of them had said a word, Elizabeth had gotten bored, so she decided to leave and go back to her room, leaving her father and her brother alone together.
William smiled as he now knew that Michael was finally easy prey.

Always Been You | Fred Weasley
Pairing: Fred Weasley x F!Reader AU: soulmate!au Word Count: 2.2k Warning: mentions of violence, mentions of death, mentions of injuries on face and arms, mentions of blood, a curse word or two, description of an explosion (the warnings are scary but i promise this has a happy ending! it just takes place during the BoH so if anything surrounding that makes you uncomfortable, please do not read! ily💛)
A/N: the italics are a flashback and this is a soulmate!au that takes place during the Battle of Hogwarts! not feeling very confident about this one but it is complete and i promised i would post it😊i hope you guys enjoy and love you all!💛special thanks to @hufflepuffbaby9 and @fortisfiliae for their words of encouragement and edits!
Living your life in love with someone when you were unsure whether they were your soulmate was a complicated ordeal. Your friends were worried for you; they had been worried since you officially met him all those years ago, the memory fresh in your mind as it always was.
“Miss Y/L/N, might I suggest you spend less time gawking at Mr. Weasley and paying attention to my lesson?”
You swallowed dryly, feeling the familiar heat of embarrassment on your cheeks as Professor McGonagall called you out in front of everyone. You heard snickering behind you, the entire class was clearly amused at your humiliation, but you couldn’t resist sneaking one last glance over your shoulder to where he sat.
He, of course, being Fred Weasley. Fellow sixth year and the most handsome boy you had ever seen. He had let his hair grow longer over the summer and it was infinitely more interesting to pay attention to than Transfiguration.
When you looked his way, you were horrified to find that he was already looking at you. Before you could quickly turn away and start trying to forget the moment had ever happened, he smiled at you. Not a smirk or a grin, but a soft smile that you hadn’t seen from him before (you would know as you always watched him quite closely).
You smiled back and struggled to control your breathing when he did a funny sort of charade that you took to mean “talk after class?”.
“MR. WEASLEY,” McGonagall screeched, causing the two of you to jump and turn away from one another. “My classroom is not a place for flirting. This is my final warning. To the both of you.”
With a final glance at Fred, you turned back to your notes and counted down the seconds in your head until class was over. As soon as you were dismissed, you threw your school books into your bag and hurried out the massive door to the Transfiguration classroom.
As promised, Fred was standing outside with a dopey grin on his face.
“I don’t believe we’ve ever formally met, Fred Weasley, at your service.”
“Y/N Y/L/N, it’s very nice to meet you.”
“So, how long have you fancied me?”
“Who said I fancied you?”
“Your eyes,” he said matter of factly.
With a salute and a bow, Fred Weasley sauntered off, leaving you in a complete state of bewilderment.
You knew in that moment, that boy was going to be the death of you.
And, oh, how he was. Ever since that day, Fred Weasley had managed to make your life complicated and perfect in the most wondrous of ways. Even though you weren’t the closest of friends, he was always a constant in your life. Hanging around after classes that you shared to speak to you, going out of his way to hang out with you at Hogsmeade, or making sure you weren’t around when he and George pulled one of their infamous pranks.
It hurt you that you hadn’t gotten closer during your time at Hogwarts, but you were secretly glad as well because you didn’t know how you would cope if you had the opportunity to fall even more in love with him.
Not only were you unsure of who your soulmate was and secretly hoping it was Fred, but you also had no idea how you would find out. There were a million different ways to know; your mother and father couldn’t see color until they met one another, your friend Elizabeth and her soulmate had the same unique birthmark just above their left knees. During your sixth year at Hogwarts, your friend Delilah found her soulmate, a Durmstrang boy, during the Triwizard Tournament when he spoke the words to her that had been tattooed on her wrist since she was born.
You had no tattoos, no exceptional birthmarks, and you saw color spectacularly well, so each day was a constant reminder that it would be harder for you to find your soulmate than most, which bothered you more than you cared to admit.
While your soulmate, or lack thereof really, should have been the last thing on your mind as you found yourself running through the halls of Hogwarts amidst a ferocious battle, you truly couldn’t help it. You’d seen friends and family die right before your very eyes only moments ago, and all you could think about was if you would join them without knowing who was made for you and you for them.
More specifically, you were only thinking of Fred Weasley and if fate would somehow be kind to you and reveal what you’ve believed in your heart all these years.
You had yet to see him; only catching glimpses of red hair every so often, or maybe you might have imagined it, as you stumbled around the castle with Luna, incapacitating any death eaters in your path.
Before you could call out to Luna to ask if she’d seen him, you heard his unmistakable laugh from nearby. Your eyes and body were drawn to the sound, and you saw him outside where you knew the Room of Requirement to be, Percy standing next to him, having just jinxed the Minister of Magic. You started running towards them, calling out Fred’s name but he was too transfixed over the shocking behavior from his elder brother to notice your cries.
“You’re joking, Perce!” he shouted as the Death Eater he was dueling collapsed to the ground. “You actually are joking, Perce…I don’t think I’ve heard you joke since you were – ”
Out of nowhere, the wall behind Fred and Percy gave way due to an explosion and a scream erupted from your lips as your body halted.
Everything happened so quickly that it was impossible to know what exactly had happened; all you knew was that the stone wall collapsed and peeking out from the rubble was an unmistakable head of unruly, red hair.
You began running towards him, reaching him in a matter of seconds and prying debris off of his body; Percy was next to you doing the same, calling out his brother’s name in earnest.
Fellow former students and friends from nearby came to assist, pulling Fred from the rubble and talking frantically about how he needed to be moved, it was too dangerous out in the open.
Luna pulled you along; watching Fred’s body being rushed towards the Great Hall had you heaving and your mind foggy. Your vision was blurry and all you could think about was how you would survive in a world without the light that was Fred Weasley.
A flash of red snapped you from your haze and you fired a curse back at the Death Eater running towards you and Luna from the side; you ran as fast as you could to catch up with, who you now recognized as Oliver Wood and Dean Thomas, along with Percy, shielding them and firing at anyone who dared come within 50 feet of them.
Your only solace was that you could see the faint, yet consistent, rise and fall of Fred’s chest.
Once you reached the Great Hall, Oliver, Dean, and Percy laid Fred on a stretcher and carried him with greater ease to where his mother and father stood.
You’d thought briefly that the sound of the explosion was the worst sound you had ever heard, but it was nothing compared to Mrs. Weasley’s cries as she fell to her knees when she laid eyes upon her wounded son. She grasped his hand in her own and brought it to her cheek, fresh tears spilling over Fred’s dusty, bloodied fingertips.
Her gaze met yours and you walked towards her slowly, asking permission to approach Fred as his family members began to crowd around him. Even though she did not know you well, it was almost as if you knew she could see the love in your eyes and graciously made room for you to kneel down next to Fred.
“Hey Freddie,” you gave him a watery smile, hoping that he would open his eyes to see it. You noticed his breaths getting shallower, and his face stayed rigid, the ghost of his last laugh still lingering.
Mrs. Weasley offered you his hand, the hand she had been holding to her face while George knelt down across from you and had taken ahold of his other.
You quickly grabbed it, folding it in between both of your own and leant down towards his ear.
“I never got to tell you, Freddie,” you whispered, desperately hoping that his family couldn’t hear you. “I never got to tell you that I love you, even though I know I’m not supposed to. All those moments between us after that day in Transfiguration, I wish I could say that’s what did it, but the truth is it was way before. I sound absolutely mad, I know, but I can’t explain it. It’s just always been a feeling in my heart, and now I…I’m afraid that I – ”
“Y/N, look,” George gasped, interrupting your confession.
You raised your head and looked down at Fred to see the color returning to his face and the cuts on his cheeks closing up.
“Keep talking to him, do something, anything,” George said desperately.
You spoke louder this time, with greater confidence and squeezed Fred’s hand even tighter, though tears blurred your vision.
“Freddie, you have to come back to me. I love you, I love you, I love you. I’ve loved you for as long as I can remember and I know if you saw me right now you would laugh at how embarrassed I am, your family doesn’t even know me and I’m blubbering over their son like he’s the most important person in the world to me but, oh Fred, you are the most important person.”
The gashes on his arms were becoming faint; almost as if they never existed at all. His breaths became deeper and soon enough, his eyes fluttered open.
“I – I don’t understand,” you muttered in confusion, turning your attention to Mrs. Weasley.
“Oh, my dear, you are his soulmate, his guardian angel. I’ve only heard about this in stories but, it’s said that soulmates with the purest of loves can heal one another from even the most deadly of afflictions. Your love is so strong that it can overcome even the gravest of injuries.”
Your reply got caught in your throat and all you could do was focus your gaze back on Fred, who was groaning and attempting to sit up off the hard, stone floor, but you gently pushed him back down as you could tell he was struggling.
“Bloody hell,” he grumbled. “I feel like death.”
Everyone around you was silent, until George made a shrieking sound, which you suspected was a panicked laugh.
“Merlin, Freddie, that’s got to be a million times worse than my holey joke.”
Despite the despondent tone of the room, yourself and the Weasley family found it in yourselves to laugh along with George.
Your giggling stopped abruptly when you felt Fred squeeze your hand tightly.
“I guess I ought to thank you for saving my life and all,” he snickered, this time sitting up with ease. “I feel better than I have in years, please never let go of my hand.”
“I wasn’t planning on it,” you whispered, the weight of the situation fully sitting itself on your shoulders.
“I don’t know if…if you heard me um…before, but – ” you started to say.
“Don’t worry, love, I heard every word,” Fred answered with a smile.
“Well, that’s good because I’m not sure if I could say it all again. I almost wet myself and that was before I knew that you’re my soulmate. Now there’s even more pressure!”
Fred smiled at you, the same soft smile he gave you that day in Transfiguration that made you realize that you would love that boy for the rest of your life, soulmates be damned. Of course, you knew the moment wouldn’t last too long.
“Y/N, my legs are still a bit sore, d’you think the whole healing thing will work faster if you come a bit closer? Maybe a bit of true love snogging?”
You cackled and gently punched his shoulder, but leaned in nonetheless and finally kissed the boy you had been dreaming about since you were a young schoolgirl. You pulled away quickly, not missing the look of disappointment on his face that made your heart swell, but you didn’t feel it was very appropriate to kiss the hell out of him in front of his entire family.
“Say, you think when I meet my soulmate my ear will grow back?” George wondered aloud, causing his entire family to flick their gaze towards him.
“Oh my god, George, I almost died, will you shut up? For once, let the attention be on me,” Fred jokingly scolded.
“My attention was always on you,” you offered sweetly, watching the edges of Fred’s lips turn up into a smirk.
“Always? You never looked at anyone else?”
“No, Freddie, it’s always been you, and it always will be.”

"What is that?!" Ban said, a blast going off in the city. He ran with Meliodas and Gowther behind the broken houses and buildings. He wiped what remained of his tears that fell during your power surge.
"Judging by the sound and vibration, it's 0.5 miles away," Gowther said. "Between the South Gate and the palace gate."
"Come to think of it, we could sense someone with mad magical powers just now, huh?" Ban said, scowling.
"Right now, it's Hendrickson that I can sense, just barely," Gowther replied. "That's the magical power of a man who bore the title 'Platinum' ten years ago."
"That's it," Meliodas exclaimed. "Let's go!"
"Huh? We're not heading for the castle?!" Ban said. "What about Y/N?! She could be in there and we don't know what they're doing to her!"
"If we're going to rescue Elizabeth and Y/N, taking them all out would be the fastest," Meliodas said, running towards the blast. "We have to believe that Y/N will stay strong until we can find her. Until then, we have to take these guys out first so that we won't have problems when finding them!"
"Looks like we should follow him," Gowther said, watching Meliodas run farther into the city. Ban turned to look at the castle with a frustrated, worried expression, before shaking his head and following Meliodas, Gowther following closely behind.
                                •••
Meanwhile, Diane, King, and Hawk's mom were walking peacefully, taking their time to Liones. Hawk's mom huffed, making King turn to her and pout.
"I know, I know," he said, pouting at her.
"Hey," Diane said, making King turn to face her.
"Huh? Yeah, what?" King asked.
"Have you ever seen that look on the captain's face before?" Diane asked. "And Ban. He looked like he had seen a ghost."
"Nope," King replied, shaking his head. "It took me by surprise too. I don't think I've ever seen the two of them get so worked up before. But..." King looked down. "I can't take my mind off of what Ban said to me."
Diane turned to King. "What did he say?"
"He said that he already lost Elaine and that he wouldn't lose Y/N too," King said. "I know the two of them are close, but... I wasn't expecting him to say that."
Diane's eyes widened. "Really? Ban said that?"
"Yeah," King said, nodding.
Diane giggled. "Wait till we tell Y/N. I bet she'll be so happy." King let out a laugh at the thought of you being so flustered.
Diane grew silent, looking down at the ground. "King... If it was me instead of Elizabeth who got abducted, do you think the captain would've gotten that worked up for me?"
"Diane," King whispered, his heart hurting at the sight of Diane looking so down. His eyes widened. "O-Of course he would! No question about it! You're a precious comrade of his!"
Diane smiled and looked up at King. "Right! The captain's really kind-hearted!" She hid her face with her hair. "But he probably wouldn't get that look on his face for me..."
King huffed, pink dusting his cheeks. "Well, I would! I'd totally get all worked up! Even if I were by myself, I'd go to your rescue!"
Diane stared at King, a faint blush on her cheeks. "King... are you consoling me?"
King's eyes widened. "That's not it, I'm just... Uh..." Hawk's mom suddenly huffed, making King slightly lose his balance in the air. "Woah—! Y-Yeah, you're right. We'd better get going, too." Diane laughed.
"I'm worried about Y/N though," Diane said, furrowing her brows. "She wasn't doing so well after we left Vaizal. She's been acting more scared even though she tries covering it up by acting happy." King nodded.
"King," Diane said, making him turn to her. Her purple eyes had tears in them. "What if they're doing something to Y/N?"
King's face grew visably worried. "That's why we're on our way to save her. Ban's probably looking for her as we speak."
"Yeah, but what if something's happened to Ban too?" Diane said, distressed. "Y/N's our best friend! We should be there—"
"Diane," King said, cutting her off. "Y/N is strong. We have to believe in her. Ban and the captain and Gowther are there too. They won't let anything happen to Elizabeth and Y/N, I promise." Diane sniffled and nodded, making King smile softly at her.
King's eyes widened, suddenly remembering something. "Oh, wait! I almost forgot!" He suddenly let out a piercing whistle.
As soon as he did that, a portal opened up in the sky and a floating green dog popped out.
"Oslo," King called, smiling.
"A-A dog?" Diane said.
"A Black Hound," King said, smiling at Oslo. "He's a type of fairy who lives in between the human world and the fairy world, and he's an old friend of mine." Oslo opened his mouth to reveal a portal inside.
"He's got this mysterious power that lets him teleport whatever he swallows to another place," King said.
Diane's face lightened up. "You mean he can send us to Liones right away?"
"Right on the money," King exclaimed, grinning.
Diane smiled. "But if he's your friend, why didn't you introduce us sooner? The captain wouldn't get mad, you know! Not like one more pet is going to make any..."
"He adores pork," King said, sweat dropping.
Diane smiled, also sweat dropping. "I see."
King turned to Oslo, smiling. "I'm counting on you, Oslo!"
Oslo suddenly grew almost the size-maybe even the size of!-Hawk's mom and stuffed Diane into his mouth. Except... her bottom half was still sticking out.
"Am I really in Liones?" Diane said, her top half now in a dark cave. "It's so dark, I can't tell."
From the other side, Diane's voice was muffled. "My butt's stuck, and I can't get out," she cried. "King! Please! Give me a shove!"
King stared at Diane, his face bright red. "You... You want me to...?"
"Hurry," Diane yelled.
"No way," King whispered to himself, blood beginning to drip from the poor fairy’s nose. "I need to prepare mentally for that!

Rating: E Paring: Elizabeth x Meliodas Word Count : 2367 Warnings: Language, Suggestive themes Summary: Despite his inability to be coherent when his gorgeous girlfriend is dressed in only underwear and stockings, he somehow manages to mumble, "Did I mention how crazy hot you are dressed in red? Because you're absolutely breathtaking." A Christmas Special! Gratuitous domestic fluff for that warm cozy feeling~ Ao3 Link: 📖
---
To be honest, he's surprised she puts up with him and his unbelievably tiny apartment.
Meliodas had offered to buy a full body mirror so she wouldn't have to deal with the cramped space that is his pathetic excuse for a bathroom ( He's pretty sure the maximum occupancy is like one person and a houseplant—it's an architectural feat that they somehow managed to squeeze in the claw tub, sink, and toilet ), but she insisted she was fine. Really, she was fine.
Still, he can't help but feel a little guilty. Especially now since Elizabeth has to apply her makeup while he bathes. He was considerate enough to run the water cold to not fog up the mirror, but even then he felt guilty about the situation overall.
As he gets out of the tub to dry off, wet flaxen hair sticking to the back of his neck, he sighs. He's never been in love like this before. Her happiness gives him happiness and he wants to do everything in his power to be able to provide for her and more.
Elizabeth was born with a silver spoon in her mouth—no doubt used to a life of luxury. He’s so enthralled with her living with him, but she's almost out of place in his life with how radiant she is.
Truthfully, he doesn’t know if he’ll ever be enough, but admittedly, he's been getting better. Especially with her. Life seems a little bit easier to manage when you're not alone. Coming home to her warm hugs and bright smile instantly recharges his batteries and he feels like a better person when he’s with her. Someone he likes being, despite his messy past.
In his mind, he knows that his impoverished lifestyle isn't a big deal to her. Doubting her comfortability is just the same as being unable to trust her decision and it feels just as bad, if not worse. He can remember that determined look in her eyes, honest and full of warmth, when she had moved in and called it Home.
Their Home.
Malfunctioning air-conditioning and all.
With newfound confidence he snuffs out the negativity—vigorously fluffing out his hair with the towel as if to scrub the thoughts away.
"How much longer until the Christmas party again?" He doesn’t need to do much, really. Just dry off and put on some casual formal wear. His favorite part was putting on his tie, if only just because Elizabeth would insist on fixing it and he loved the extra attention. He’s guilty of maaaaybe not learning how to tie a windsor knot on purpose if it meant his adorable girlfriend fussing over his appearance.
He looks over to where Elizabeth is and it takes his brain a moment to remember that ‘Oh yeah’  his lungs need air to breathe, because he's sure his body forgot it's own autonomous functions when he sees her.
Elizabeth was leaning over the sink and applying makeup as she normally would, but this time around she was only partially dressed. Her underwear wasn't its usual practical white or nude, but a deep red silk with a sheen that faded to black around the edges. The two cups were edged with black lace woven in intricate scalloped designs. But the cherry on top was the dark pantyhose on her sinfully sexy legs.
Elizabeth tilts her head forward, brushing out her lashes with a little mascara wand, and regards her reflection for a moment before replying aloud, "Mmm...we've got around 45 minutes to get ready so no rush."
As she carefully sweeps the rouge over her lips, it’s color an equally deep red, he watches with heightened attention. The simple act draws his attention to her tulip lips in a coy act of seduction.
He walks over, leaning probably closer than he should, and his mind blanks at a loss for words. Meliodas wonders, always astonished, how perfect she is. She’s so captivating without even trying and Meliodas is just left speechless. His chest is a furnace of warmth and the feeling radiates through his body in little tingles.
Elizabeth spots him staring from the mirror and looks at him without turning around, "What, you think it's too much? I don't normally wear this shade, but Christmas, right?"
Despite his inability to be coherent when his gorgeous girlfriend is dressed in only underwear and stockings, he somehow manages to mumble, "Did I mention how crazy hot you are dressed in red? Because you're absolutely breathtaking."
Elizabeth turns to face him and shyly bites her lip. "O-oh, you like it? I bought it while I was out getting the ingredients. Normally I wouldn't splurge on underwear  of all things, but it came in a set. Plus it had a deep holiday discount..."
Meliodas swipes his thumb over her bottom lip, smudging her lipstick, and his dick throbs at the sight of her. Half-dressed wearing ruby red underwear and silken black pantyhose. He wants to ravage her. See how undone and desperate she looks while he's fucking her in front of the mirror.
"Ah, Meliodas, " Elizabeth pleads, a cute whimper of restraint, and it has his sanity hanging by a thread. "Mmm...w-we need to leave soon..."
"In a second, let me just—" Meliodas places a slow kiss, hungry and needy, upon the dip between her neck and shoulder and immediately he smells her warm perfume; the longer he lingers, the more he can pick up the notes of sweet, spiced vanilla from when they were baking gingerbread.
He slides his hand underneath her bra to palm at her left breast and god does it's pillowy softness fill up his hand just right. His fingers lightly sink into her flesh while the lace bites at his skin. Despite the slight pain, the reminder of said lace only sparks something hotter and deeper within him.
With skillful fingers he easily unlatches the offending material and Meliodas impresses his body against her. Fingers roam her body all slow. It's a careful exploration as he maps out all her sweet spots and judges her reactions. The slight graze of his nails against soft skin earns him a delicious little shiver; a firm grasp has her breathing hitched and heavy; a small tweak to her hardening nipples has her lower spine arching to the ceiling with silent, barely there moans.
Meliodas anxiously grinds his body into hers, his now stiff cock pressing against her ass, and he savors the intoxicating feeling. Another pump of his hips has the tip of his dick just barely reaching her clothed core and he makes it his goal to glide between it over and over again.
Elizabeth airly moans and her voice is heavenly music in his ears. He repeats the thrusting motion with more force and is again rewarded with her beautiful song of praise. He wants her to feel it too. The faster he glides, the more she reacts and it's like a continuous cycle of pleasure with both of them climbing higher and higher within their rapturous daze until—
RIIIIIIP
They both stop, eyes wide, quietly staring at each other for a couple of seconds.
Elizabeth is panting, slightly out of breath,  "Did you just..."
"Uh,  yeah I think I did…"
There's a small opening of torn threads stretching down her pantyhose. He's pretty sure he's stained her thighs with his precum and he can already see her soaking through her underwear more clearly now.
"You know, actually, your hole is kinda hot."
"D-don't say it like that!"  Elizabeth quickly defends in embarrassment, "Gosh, look at them. I don't think I have a spare. I mean, it's not like it'll be seen from underneath the dress so it should be fine...maybe it'll be okay?"
Meliodas hears her voice, but is only vaguely listening. He's far more interested in this little rip he's created. With careful focus he hooks his finger into the seam, playing around with the frayed edges, and something in him feels so strongly compelled to just—
RIIIIIIIP RIP
"Meliodas!"
The sound of thread snapping echoes in their little bathroom and Elizabeth gasps. The sheer material stretches over the fleshy skin of her plump butt as he tears apart the nylon even more. It’s not enough to pull it completely off her, but just enough to reveal more of her creamy skin. It’s like a flip is switched and he's, once again, rubbing his hardening dick across the wet spot on her underwear. Meliodas guides his dick along the slit of her panties, sliding the head along and angling it just right so that it tugs back at his foreskin with every thrust.
It's miraculous how delicious it feels. Smooth and silky like water against his skin.
Meliodas sighs, breathing in ragged, hot breaths against her ear. "Close your legs a little bit." And she does, and the added friction and heat only spurs him on.
Meliodas felt that throbbing pleasurable ache every time Elizabeth breathlessly whimpered his name with every heavy stroke of his cock. It drove him to near madness. His actions became more urgent, more forceful, but it only had her moaning louder. Her nails dug into his scalp a bit painfully, but the pleasure made him blind to it.
He loved this. He loved her. She’s always beautiful, but there was something so thrilling and empowering to see her so immersed in nothing but the passion he could give her. He'd give her all of him and the world if he could, but it still wouldn't be enough. She compliments him and fits perfectly in his life.
"I love you." his voice rumbles between her shoulder blades while he comfortably nestles his hips between her legs.
"I love you too." She murmurs before placing a gentle kiss over his messy hair.
He pulls his face from her and has a wide, mischievous grin that exudes confidence. "So...do you wanna?"
As he strokes his still-hardening erection along her soaking arousal, Elizabeth gasps "Y-yes! Oooh, I-I need you. Please."
Without preamble, he uses two fingers to stretch the elastic band of her panties to the side, revealing her glistening folds bare to him. It’s almost a shame he's unable to take a taste of her sinful sweetness, but he has more pressing matters to attend to.
The tip of his dick is wet and his mouth slightly drops open at finally being inside.  As he slowly sinks further into her, he can feel his cock twitching in anticipation. It's a miracle he didn't just mercilessly fuck her into their bathroom counter right then and there.
With a gradually growing speed, he began plunging his cock in and out of her clenching body and it's almost painful how pleasurable it feels. Another thrust, quicker and harder this time, and Meliodas was rewarded with her sweet sinful, praise. Her back is arched so that the tip of his head is squeezed with every thrust.
It seems like Elizabeth had begun to lose herself to it all. Her insides stroked his shaft with every pass and she thrust her hips back in order to dig his cock in deeper.
Meliodas firmly grasps her hip with one hand the best he can to anchor her as he begins to push his hips harder, thrusting into her at a wild and merciless pace. He was getting close, but he wanted to ride out the pleasure of being within her for as long as possible. He doesn't want to stop. He wants to come inside Elizabeth so badly, but he doesn't want it to end. The pleasure coils in his stomach as he strains himself from releasing inside her.
"Elizabeth you feel so good. Everything is so soft .  ..Ah—ngh...I'm gonna...haa..I wanna come so badly."
"A-ahh, mmm! I-it's okay," her breath hitches as he nics a particularly pleasurable spot—judging by how she shudders beneath him. "Please, Meliodas, please...I'm so close.."
The hot pressure of her tight core fluttering and enveloping his cock is consuming his mind and body in a blinding euphoria. His vision is starting to blur as his thrusts become more reckless. Pleasure singes his nerves and quickly he braces himself onto the counter. He picks up the pace, driving into her with long, intense strokes, and firmly clenches his jaw so hard that his teeth begin to ache.
Her walls clench and constrict tighter and tighter and he knows she finally reached  her limit when she chokes back a pleasured sob. Her body deliciously shudders around his cock and immediately the unrelenting heat engulfs him and crashes down hard and unforgiving.
The tension in him snaps and Meliodas buries himself harder and deeper, feeling his cock pulse whilst inside Elizabeth. He felt her body tightening on him as he continued to pump his hips repeatedly, intermingling their essences and slicking her plush walls with his seed and finishing inside her with thick, jerky spurts. As his release begins to taper off, he gives a few shallow thrusts while keeping a firm grip on her hips to fill her up as much as possible.
As they're coming down from their high, Meliodas flips her around and pulls her in for a languid, sloppy kiss. Sucking her tongue, then swirling and rolling them around each other until his head went blank and dizzy.
He paused to pull away, licking his own equally swollen lips, with their mouth’s barely touching and breathing in each other’s air. Both of them dripping with sweat and Elizabeth’s body still trembling with aftershocks from her own release.
"I'm sorry, Elizabeth I—" his voice is rough and breathless, "I love you so much, I couldn't resist."
"Mm...I love you just as much." She whispers, equally as tired. She brings her hand up to brush away at his sweat-slicked bangs to look more earnestly into his eyes. "But I have to say, we probably are going to be late for that Christmas party now."
Elizabeth gently laughs and it's like heaven sighing. It's so tender and infectious that he soon finds himself laughing along with her.
At least this time they could take a nice, long bath together.

Reaction to Wandavision finale
After finishing watching Wandavision finale, I had a big grin on my face because I knew the online reaction would be highly entertaining. And they haven’t disappointed. I have been rolling my eyes at all the various theories. To me, it felt from the beginning that they were trying to make an intimate show about Wanda’s grief and how she dealt with it. People just assumed that since the show led into the Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness, that there would be all sorts of multiverse shennanigans on this show. So I had a solid laugh at some of the reactions. The one most people are showing rage about is the Evan Peters thing. There are either people in incredible amount of denial that Evan Peters just played a random character who happened to be Quicksilver when Agatha intervened, or they are raging about it as if Feige personally wronged him. I thought it was genius bit of casting. The whole point was that that Wanda and the people watching on the outside of the hex were puzzled that Pietro got recast. So it was a great wink at the audience that the actor who was recast as Pietro was played by the same actor who has played Pietro on a another movie series. Then the audience just let their imagination run wild. Feige has made public statements that there are no plans for mutants in the coming phase. So why people constantly assume they are being lied to and start expecting X-Men characters and mutant powers in the first project of Phase 4 is beyond me.
There are a few valid complaints. White Vision definitely leaves very abruptly, a little more time to characters like Monica, Jimmy, and especially Darcy, who is in like 5 seconds of the finale, would have been nice. But the ending hit the right amount of emotion and left with just the right amount of dread over what will happen with Wanda. All is definitely not right with her. While she may not intentionally want to cause harm, she is not a complete innocent and she may be messing with things that will cause a lot of problems. Doctor Strange 2 is where I genuinely expect multiversal shenannigans. I don’t know about Spider-man 3. I know there is a lot of ‘confirmed’ reports about Maguire and Garfield returning but I have my doubts. But there was plenty to love. I loved Vision vs White Vision became a theoretical discussion, not a battle. It was so Vision. The Agatha vs Wanda battle was also cool. Not to mention, the reveal of Wanda’s new look was badass and kind of creepy. And then the goodbye of Wanda to Vision and her sons hit the right emotional chord as expected.
However, all in all, this was a extremely well made show with some fantastic performances, particularly by Elizabeth Olsen who should definitely be an awards contender, with episode 8 being a highwater mark for her. Paul Bettany too was outstanding and certainly the “What is grief, but love persevering” is a line of his that will be remembered for a while and has a lot of real world truth behind it.  Tyonah got some real good moments, particularly in the middle of the season. Looking forward to see her more in Captain Marvel 2. I do hope we also see more of Randall and Kat, because both added much needed levity. Kathryn Hahn was a delight as Agatha. I’m pretty certain we will see her again given how her character was left of. Great start to Phase 4.

TUA PIRATE AU
(of the Caribbean? Sort of? I guess?)
(please understand that by AU, I mean they share an incredibly small amount of things in common with the original source material which I barely remember BUT the “story” takes place in the setting of the books/films) (not to be misleading or anything :p)
(BEWARE: abuse, murder, pirates and all of their violent shenanigans, etc.)
(If you can handle watching Umbrella Academy, this will be fine for you.)
Luther is the captain of the guard, and pirates are the bane of his existence. He hates Diego most of all, the man who’s stolen unspeakable amounts of gold from Reginald, Luther’s employer. But as annoyed he is at all of the theft, he purposefully never catches Diego, because he knows Klaus loves him. And Luther may be a man of the law, but he’s also Klaus’ beloved brother-in-spirit, even if Reginald wants them to marry each other for some idiotic reason. (Something about getting Klaus to settle down - ha, he can try.) When Klaus disappears, Luther follows him, having no connections left here - and that’s when he meets Allison. And there are copious laws against getting involved with married women and outlaws alike… so Luther starts to think that maybe bending the rules wouldn’t be so bad. (Klaus is so proud.)
Diego grew up poor, and became a pirate in his early teens when Grace took him in. When she fled the colony, Diego went with her, leaving his childhood best friend Klaus behind. He’s got his own fleet and crew now, and mostly uses his scores as excuses to flirt with Klaus, who’s still just as drawn to him after all these years and often sneaks him into his bedroom when Diego’s in town. Diego’s kept in close touch with Lila and Eudora, both of whom he grew up with once Grace took him away, and they both help him when it comes time for him to crash Klaus’ wedding to Luther (fuck you dude) and steal Klaus away for a life at sea. (Klaus absolutely LOVES this. They kiss a lot. They swing from ropes. Klaus is screaming at all the guards as Diego carries him away bridal-style (ha, I’m so funny). It is delightful.) (His ship is a terror they call The Kraken. Ha, get it? Get it - because Diego’s name - and the monster from legend - okay yeah I’ll shut up now.)
Allison is a badass goddess, covered in colorful tattoos with gold in her hair. She was a prostitute for awhile, stealing a bunch along the way, but one day one of the pirate captains who approached her tried to take more than he paid for. She broke both his hands and killed him in cold blood, then defeated his entire crew in a sword fight single-handedly, earning their respect. She now rides with that same crew as their captain, in one of those off-the-shoulder poet-blouse-corset dresses and high brown boots. Ray is a leutinant who’s been chasing her for years, the two of them flirting back and forth forever… but he’ll never catch her. It’s bad form to arrest your wife.
Klaus is the governor’s bastard son, a totally wild spirit who wears dresses all the time, drinks his weight at parties, and has slept with half the town (marriage is not a problem for him, this is Klaus, we all know he is very down for threesomes). He’s stolen half of Reginald’s shit for Diego over the years, and has been sneaking off to see him just as long, completely in love with his pirate king. Though he’s loved others before - Dave, for example, a soldier whose death broke Klaus into give in to Reginald’s plan to marry him off to Luther (who Klaus loves, just, Not Like That™). The day Diego kidnaps him from his own wedding is the best fucking day of his life - okay, no it wasn’t. That was second best. The best day of his life was the day he and Diego watched Diego’s ship and treasure burn and sink into the sea, and Klaus asked him if he was alright, and Diego just shrugged. Said, You’re the only treasure I need, and kissed him like the world was ending. Yeah. That was the best day of his life, because Diego is the best anything in his life.
Five was a pirate queen until he transitioned a few years ago, though only by word of mouth. No one’s ever seen him. Anyone who works for him doesn’t make it a month outside of the job, usually by his own hands, but people keep coming because nobody knows who he is. He sails alone, though he offers Klaus refuge on his boat for a few days under the moniker Aidan, because he knows Diego loves him, and Five actually respects Diego (if only because he respects Lila who he only respects because he respects Eudora). He hates the Handler for leaving him stranded on an island when he was just a child, an unwanted product of her crew’s hard partying, and has vowed to kill her one day for leaving him alone for so long, ageless in misery. He talks to the mermaid on the front of his ship named Dolores and kills without mercy, and when he finally reveals himself as this skinny pale thirteen-year-old with the grandpa haircut, he revels in the looks on his family’s faces as they try to rebuild their blown brain circuits.
Ben loves Klaus more than life itself, which is, in hindsight, probably why he’s dead. Oh who is he kidding, it’s definitely why he’s dead. Klaus is sort of, kind of, maybe, just a little bit a witch, and they hang witches where they’re from. So when they needed someone to blame for the odd happenings Klaus had caused recently, Ben had taken the blame and worn the noose proudly. Klaus still talks to him all the time, his ghost anyway, and it’s fine - but Klaus lives on the sea now, with Diego, and Ben gets seasick like all the time. (And then he steals Davy Jones’ heart and gets trapped as a tentacle monster, which is honestly not that bad. It helps him scare birds, and Ben likes scaring birds.)
Vanya works as the blacksmith’s apprentice, sad and lonely. She’s been having an affair with the duchess Sissy for years, also working as her maid and a nanny for her son Harlan when asked, but mostly she’s alone, with no one else to care for in the world. (And that creep officer Leonard keeps asking her to marry him, which, just. Ew.) When Five shows up, his hands in his pockets, and offers her a way out, well - what else could she possibly do?
Lila is a badass pirate princess who don’t take no shit from anybody. She wears bright pink ballgowns while skewering people like kabobs, which is funny because she’s a well-known maneater. Literally. (Yes I included a Hannibal character in here because it’s my AU and I can do whatever the fuck I want.) She fell in love with Eudora, and thought she had corrupted the kind sergeant until she found out Eudora had been an undercover pirate the whole time, helping Diego smuggle Reginald’s gold and goods in and out of port. (That’s hot as fucking hell, she blurts when she realizes. Fuck, I’m gonna marry this woman.) She has a serious rum problem she will not be addressing and a collection of pet parrots that will forever prevent her and Ben from becoming friends. When she and Eudora get married, it’s in the middle of the pouring rain while thunder and lightning and gunshots crack around them and they’re killing people and shooting canons left and right (because I may not have shipped Will and Elizabeth but by god if their wedding wasn’t the best fucking thing I’ve ever seen). Now if only she could find the king of the pirates… she’s been hunting Five for years, hoping to prove herself to him, but he just… won’t show up.
Eudora is the sergeant in Reginald’s legions, and has been using her position to help Diego pirate goods since before he even left with Grace. She makes a lot of deals with him, having him carry her cargo and speak with her connections in exchange for her keeping an eye on Klaus for him, which to be honest they both know she’d do anyway. She helped Diego get to Klaus’ wedding and kidnap him, confusing the soldiers in pursuit of the bride, and follows them off to sea, finally home. She feels she owes an eternal debt to Klaus for not being able to save Ben from execution, though she tried, almost desperately. She flirts with Lila all the damn time, and believes in magic, wanting to travel the world looking for it. Most importantly, you should know that she will and has killed for a cheeseburger. (I know they weren’t invented yet shut up.)
Reginald is the governor of the colony, and Klaus’ father. He’s an asshole, one who constantly hunts the pirates because his wife Grace left him to be one. He only has one eye because Grace cut the other out viciously in their last fight, and he’s an abusive piece of shit who lives to terrorize and tax people. Pogo is his assistant / advisor / let-me-stand-here-and-give-you-good-advice-that-we-all-know-you’ll-ignore person. Reginald refuses to die before he catches Grace and sees her hanging in the square - something that seems more and more likely by the day. (HA, Grace says. He wishes.)
Grace is the original pirate queen, and lives in legend. She faked her death after living a double life for years, leaving Reginald and taking her son Diego with her. She knows Reginald doesn’t believe in her death, because she cut his eye out and nearly killed him right before she left, but everyone else believes it. She jumped from the bell tower and Klaus himself “went mad with grief” at the sight of her body, though he of course knows she’s alive and keeps up the story for her benefit. She injured Reginald so severely because he killed Ben, knowing that he wasn’t guilty, and that the witch in question had done nothing wrong anyway. She is known to be fiercely protective of her children, and kind in nature despite her ability to kill you using a historic number of methods. Her crew is made up of refugees who she offered shelter and a better life in exchange for their servitude, including Five, for awhile, who was running a scam. She knows who he is, and remembers his face well - but she keeps it to herself. Though she could match him in a fight easily, she has no interest in battling the boy she has grown to love as a son. (She’s also the one who officiates Diego and Klaus’ wedding, but that’s unrelated.)
The Handler is another pirate queen, and Grace’s greatest rival. She has two pistols at her waist and is not afraid to use them, having such deadly aim that she’s never missed a target - except Diego, which she hates him for. Also for encouraging her first mate and daughter Lila to mutiny, but that’s a whole other can of worms. Her ship is followed by an entire shiver of sharks, who let her use them like water skis whenever she wants. She abandoned Five on an island when he was born into her crew, as she hates children with a burning passion. (There are rumors she eats little boys’ bones. They have yet to be disproven.) Hazel is her snivelling first mate and Cha-Cha is her willing servant and second captain, a master at the wheel and with a sword. Agnes is an old psychic (ha, she’s faking it. She’s got no fuckin’ clue where Five is and will continue to lie whenever asked) she keeps in the brig after kidnapping her years ago, hoping to get a read on Five, who the Handler hates for constantly stealing her goods before they even make it to port. (She has no idea he’s the same boy she left on that island all those years ago - he’s certainly not the only child she’s done that to. But countless are out for her blood… almost every person Grace has rescued was left to die on an island by the Handler.) She eventually dies at Klaus’ hand, who plunges a sword through her heart in defense of his family, who she made the fatal mistake of coming after. (It happened in the same rainy battle where Lila and Eudora were married. He was wearing a yellow ballgown.)
Also Jack Sparrow is super great friends with Lila and he’s married to Will Turner who’s honestly so exhausted but gets along great with Ben and Elizabeth is their ace-aro friend who is a goddamn queen and who Diego has a lowkey crush on and Klaus can geek out with for hours. It’s awesome.

Power Couple | JC Sanlaurento x Saoirse
Tumblr media
⚡︎ POWER COUPLE ⚡︎
1.7k words. JC Sanlaurento and Saoirse make a comeback for the prompt ‘who to see’ from @midsummer-masquerade.
All Saoirse, Theo, Meredith and the rest of her crew belong to @apprenticealec. Just like ‘Wouldn’t You Love to Love Her’, this is also set in the Janiverse.
You can find Sanlaurento’s outfit here, and the rest of City of Delights here.
Julianus examined the invitation —the luxurious paper and printing work— and hummed.
“So, what you’re telling me is that Vesuvians host secret sex parties?” They asked Saoirse, who was sitting on their bed, watching Julianus sway in their place from side to side.
“That’s a way of looking at it.”
JC snorted. “It tracks for me. What doesn’t is that Meredith knows the former Count.”
They left the invite Saoirse had given them next to Saoirse’s own as they went to sit on the quartermaster’s lap. Saoirse began telling them what they knew about Meredith’s and Lucio’s friendship, as the two of them sat unnecessarily close to each other. Saoirse liked it that way, they liked the way their Julie’s rib cage moved as they spoke, or the way their heart beated inside their chest.
“Who got the fourth invite?”
Saoirse’s smirk told them the answer was going to be good. “Theo.”
Jules was already vibrating.
Vesuvia wasn’t that different from what they remembered. They had travelled to the City a handful of times when they were studying in Firent and  the plague was no longer a risk. Julianus liked it — lively and cosmopolitan, the atmosphere vibrated with magic, making it seem like anything would happen.
As soon as they reached port, Elizabeth and Tariq dragged Meredith their own way, Drew walking calmly behind them. That left Julianus, Saoirse and Theo to go search for their outfits on their own. They walked the streets together, Jules holding Saoirse’s hand while they animatedly talked with Theo about fashion, textures and the like, sharing jokes as they browsed through the Red Market.
When they ran into Meredith, Julianus couldn’t help but to tease Theo a little bit. Theo replied with some teasing of his own, telling his friend he was sure Saoirse and them wouldn’t even make it out of their room at the party.
“Let’s see,” Jules said, that little smile on their face that no one in the crew knew if Saoirse had copied from them, or them from Saoirse.
They didn’t have much more time to stroll around the City after they got their outfits. Not wanting to be late, they made their way to the Palace, meeting with Meredith on the door. While Meredith and Theo had separate rooms, Saoirse and Jules had one together, as it was customary for couples who didn’t request otherwise. They didn’t remember saying anything about it, but the pink-haired servant that was guiding them through the Palace said one could tell.
Jules felt Saoirse short next to them, quickly followed by their arm around their back.
They wanted to ask the name of the servant, to thank her, but she was gone before they could say anything as soon as they were shown their room. Julianus soon forgot about it anyway, as Saoirse pressed against them from behind.
“If I didn’t know you better, I’d say you were impatient.”
“How about ‘curious’? It’s hard not to be when you have been very insisting about me not spying on your outfit. Despite you helping me choose mine.”
“You’ll have to tame that horse because I want to shower before I begin getting ready.”
Saoirse just made a deadpan comment about their woes, that Jules fully knew they didn’t mean. Saoirse was a patient person (because Saoirse was a person, eldritch existence aside), and Saoirse liked to indulge whatever little ritual Julianus came up with in situ. They found them entertaining, and they could see why their partner liked to come up with little explanations and decorative reasons for certain things.
They just were fun to follow. Not that Saoirse ever expected to think that, but that was their Julie.
Saoirse asked if they were allowed to have a bath with them, and they were, though of course it ended up being half bath, half make out session. Yet, the moment they began getting ready once they were out of it, Julianus shooed them out of the bathroom with a gentle push.
“You’ll get many rewards for your compliance, thank you very much.”
“Oh, I’m the one getting the rewards tonight? I thought you liked being the one getting them.”
“For being a void with eyes and I being the horny human, you’re absolutely incorregible.”
“I thought you liked it.”
“I do,” they said, asking Saoirse to lean down to kiss their lips.
Saoirse kissed them back before going to get ready themselves, looking around their room when they were ready, and seeing how soft the bed was. It was very, to their discovery. Julie was going to like it, they thought — it had not gone past them that while they were not even close to Theo’s original royal status, or Elizabeth’s for that matter, they had come from a very economically comfortable background. To begin with, they were a lawyer who had studied in Firent. That said something on itself.
While their Julie wasn’t conceited in the slightest and had separated their choices from those of their family, out of what Saoirse knew and could tell from having observed humans for so long, there were some things that, like Theo, they couldn’t shake off. Luxurious bedding was one of them: Julie always raided rich people’s quarters for certain possessions and home making elements were one of them. Saoirse’s bed in the ship had never looked nor felt plusher.
Lying back on the bed, waiting, they began making conversation with them. They talked about Vesuvia, about Theo and Meredith, and the party itself. Julianus revealed they didn’t know if they would come to something like this otherwise.
“I don’t think this is the kind of party to come alone, or at least I wouldn’t attend alone. I don’t mind doing things on my own, but again, this isn’t it.”
“I’m sure there’s going to be a lot of people looking for other people.”
“Well, it is a sex party,” they said, their voice carrying into the bedroom from the bath, “I just have a bit of trouble thinking about the hypothetical.”
Julianus did not know how the conversation turned from there to if they’d be interested in someone else, if they weren’t a thing. They couldn’t help trying to figure out why Saoirse was asking, even though they knew Saoirse was asking simply because that’s how they explored things they didn’t quite understand. Asking.
“I think I’m answer is not going to be as interesting as you think it will be. Though I honestly do not know what you’re expecting— the thing is I just can’t picture myself with anyone else other than you now? I know you wouldn’t care if I let you know I wanted another partner or to sleep with someone else, but unless I had a specific itch, I just… don’t see it.
“Like, okay maybe if Meredith wasn’t my boss, but Theo has the right of way there because he is my friend and I want him to be happy, Tariq is very handsome; If you make me think of other ships Jade and Louis are very pleasant to the eye, and maybe in another life I would flirt with them. Maybe in this one too as a joke, and to piss Rodrigo off. Even then they’re all very nice hypotheticals I care little for when I have you right here.
“Your all the private devotion I will ever need.”
They came out of the bathroom. They had their hair in waves, two red flowers pinned to the side of their head. Julianus was wearing a black bustier styled corselette, it had garter straps hooked to black thigh high socks, and was wearing black boots that went almost as high up as the socks. They were fitting into each arm a pair of above the elbow, black gloves.
They looked stunning. They always did. It wasn’t the outfit that made Saoirse look at them like that.
“Mo grá?”
“Aside from the Queen, I don’t think anyone has ever chosen me like that.”
Jules walked towards them, who was now sitting on the bed, and stood between their legs. They kissed their forehead. “Well, to you, to love is to protect. For me, to love is to choose, too. You’re a wonderful person to choose, Saoirse.”
For a being as old as Saoirse, loneliness was something they had to be used to. For a being as old as Saoirse, who also spent so much time around humans, they don’t think they would ever notice what loneliness was if it wasn’t for their proximity to them. Saoirse’s hand found Julianus’ side, as their mouth pressed itself against their skin and their clothes.
“No comments on the outfit? You look very handsome. I am most definitely the luckiest person in this Palace, sorry to Theodore.”
“You look, you look—” Saoirse didn’t know how to finish their sentence. How human of them. How odd. How misplaced. How very Saoirse. Them and Jules were both like that: misplaced. Yet right then they looked beautiful, inviting, sexy, like the sea, like freedom on Saoirse’s hair and like not a wave, but a tsunami changing their coastline forever.
Saoirse didn’t need to finish their sentence for Jules to get it. “See, this is what Tariq means when he says you’re bound to make me mad with power.”
“You like it.”
“Oh, I do. Nothing like being loved and fucked by my favourite eldritch entity. Like I said: my own private devotion.”
Saoirse smiled at them; a kind of smile only reserved for Julianus, one that carried a different complicity than the one they had with the Pirate Queen.
“Do you want to have a look around, or do you want to prove Theo right?”
Sanlaurento snorted. “Never. Let's go make people jealous of how good we look.”
Saoirse was happy to indulge them. Out of their room and into the party, Julianus hooked their arm around Saoirse’s. It made them stop. Looking at them with a little smirk, Saoirse crouched down to sit Julianus’ on their shoulder, turning their head to kiss their thigh.
“Why walk when I can carry you?”
“Mad with power, and it’ll be your fault.”
“I’ll have to find something to keep you in line then.”
“Please do,” they said, catching the innuendo in Saoirse’s tone.

ahh ok ok, it's good !! i'm only halfway thru but mAN, i'm hooked HAHA, and abt the type, mmm i don't really have a preference tbh, i just take a look at the blurb and if it's interesting to me, then i send a message to my mom n she decided whether to buy it or not
as for recs, i've only gotten into reading recently, but i have a few that i've been wanting to read
- agatha christie seems to be pretty popular, and i think she writes on horror, so i'll look into that
- there's also this guy, anthony horowitz, and i'm very interested in reading a book of his, the word is murder (it's out of stock on our local bookstore, so i'm just waiting on it)
- one of us is lying and one of us is next is popular with my friends and classmates, so i'm interested in it as well
but do you have any book recs? i'd like to get more into it, but i haven't been able to find a lot of good ones ; i dont mind the genre, i just get at what seems interesting to me, so feel free to drop your favorites :D
HMMMM IMMA CHECK THAT ONE OUT :DD
ok so what you got sounds good I'll give you some basic recs because I want to explore the genre a bit more myself lol (my sister also really wants to read One of us is Lying lol)
Classics (not old but like... famous):
- an Inspector Calls - a play that's quite famous, it's a script so it's all dialogue and the story is revealed through an interrogation it's a classic for a reason :) - An inspector comes to the house of a rich family in the (oh dear) like mid 1800s? Anyway he claims that they are all guilty of driving a working class woman to suicide and the whole story is slowly revealed it's so GOOD
- Oedipus Rex - ok this is an old classic but :)))) what can I say - it's another play and it's good! Technically it's a tragedy but the plot of the tragedy is Oedipus trying to solve a mystery - chances are you know the ending but that's the point, knowing the ending creates tension as he tries to figure it out and you wonder when the ball is going to drop
- Sherlock Holmes - I... I haven't actually read these but one of my best friends has and she KEEPS bugging me to read them so it's on the list because it's a classic and also my bestie likes them
- Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde - Pretty short! And so so good! You probably recognise the story and it has it's fame for a reason... t's written from the POV of this Judge? I think? I can't remember his career, anyway he becomes involved in these murders and he decides to find out who's doing it and then track the perpetrator down and it's also sci-fi and psychological I believe anyway definite recommendation
Lower level (so like ages 11 - 15? I mean that's the age I was when I read them so):
- The Mysterious Benedict Society series - honestly? I want to reread these because a television adaption is coming out and I'm mad about some of the cuts they made - it's about a group of children recruited to stop someone from brainwashing the world
- the Lady Grace mysteries - definitely around the 11/12 age when I read these so they're quite an easy read but what can I say I still like them and easy reads are good and fun - it's set in the late 1500s and the main character is Grace, goddaughter to Queen Elizabeth the first, and she becomes a private detective for the Queen for various murders happening around court while outwitting the official (male) detective who thinks that her observations are worth pretty much nothing - she also has to keep it a secret from the other Maids of Honour (like ladies in waiting but... nobles)
- Orphan Monster Spy - ok I loved this when I read it at... 13/14/15? Anyway it's about a Jewish girl in WW2 who goes undercover at a school for nazi's children to gather information it is very good
- The murder most unladylike series - OK this I read at 10/11/12 as well but just because books are for younger audiences doesn't mean they aren't gripping and they're often more creative! My sister is reading this atm and she loves it ehe - it's two girls at a boarding school that start solving mysteries together
Higher Level (so like... 15/16/17? When I read or have been recommended and all that jazz):
- Oryx and Crake - This is written by Margaret Atwood which means it's good. The woman is a legend! Handmaid's Tale COULD be considered thriller or smth like it's sci-fi but like... cmon so that's another rec by her. My English teacher and my mum keep recommending me this but I haven't started it yet... general consensus is it's good though!
- Jane Harper - She's an author who's mysteries are apparently pretty good? I have one and they all seem to be popular sooooo a recommendation :)
- The Declaration + sequels - These are written by Gemma Malley and ALL I CAN REMEMBER ABOUT HOW GOOD THEY ARE is that when I was taking my GCSE mocks (I was 15 half of us were 16) we had to do revision in an exam hall and um anyway I read this book and the Resistance instead and did not do any revision I was hooked - not really a mystery or crime technically I don't think but definitely that vibe - Basically it's a future world where children just aren't a thing? The government has designed drugs for longevity and kids born outside of the law become 'surplus' and are all housed together but this girl meets a boy from outside (I cannot for the life of me remember if they get together or not) and they escape and go to investigate the government and where these drugs are coming from
I'll add more if I read them... IDEA! This list will have a tag (#wid's book recs! and #wid's mystery recs!) so I'll add recs to it when I get them so it'll be constantly evolving and I'll do the same for other genres at some point! I had a few more that I wanted to add but I forgot and the cat is being clingy

Loki epi 2 thoughts
So it’s been a hot minute since I rped on tumblr, mostly cause I definitely see it as a very toxic rping environment. But that is a discussion for another day... I came back on here cause aside of all that, I will give tumblr it’s props when it comes to headcannon discussions. The best discussions I’ve had came from here. So I want to throw in my 2 cents on a little thing that came to mind after seeing the 2nd episode of Loki. So ...
SPOILER WARNING IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN IT....
Ok so warning out of the way. Lady... Fucking....Loki!!!!
I’m hype for one. I’m happy to see that they are showing that Loki can come off as female, Loki is genderfuild and identifies with whichever gender he presents as. (I say “he” because the Loki we are used to seeing so often is normally in a male presenting way, so I’ll say she when I’m taking about Lady Loki.) Anyways, I was excited but since we are just in the second episode, there are so many possibilities this could pan out. When I first realized that Lady Loki was going to show up, I didn’t know about the actress playing her. I wondered how Marvel Studios was going to go about it. For one we started the Disney + show line up with WandaVision. In the comics, Lady Loki came about through Loki possessing Wanda. So I wondered if Elizabeth Olsen was gonna come back as Lady Loki or would Marvel go with the genderfluid route that we have seen already in Loki Agent of Asgard and in other comics as well. At the start of the episode when the TVA agents came to investigate you see a hand come out of no where and tap the one chick’s (I am typing off the top of my head, please excuse I’m not gonna remember everyone’s name off the bat, My brain is fucky) temple JUST LIKE WANDA DOES to get people to hallucinate. I thought, ‘Oh Shit!’ The Wanda route! My geeky self was happy either way. BUT Then at the end you see the reveal, it’s not Wanda! Genderfluid route! My geeky self and My Non-binary ass was happy..... BUT...... Lady Loki is blonde..... Let me state now that I’m not mad about it. Now don’t come at me, Some people are pretty pissed about that little bit, but really I don’t care. Loki is a shapeshifter. In Norse mythology he was supposed to be a redhead. And we all know about the horse thing. I even strongly defend POC cosplayers on tiktok because 1 cosplay is meant to be fun, fuck anyone who tries to gatekeep cosplay with racist idiology, and 2, Loki is a shapeshifter, any race he makes himself is cannon by that logic. So if Lady Loki is blonde, than she is blonde. *insert advertisement music* “Maybe she’s born with it, maybe it’s shapeshifting!“ BUT There’s different ways to look at that little point about her being blonde. Yall remember that deleted scene for Dark World where Loki had an illusion playing of him walking down the ramp, all of Asgard cheering for him while he wore a RED cape... Thor’s color? There were discussions ALL over the place about that. Why red and not green and in short the discussions were all about Loki emulating Thor in his desire to be deemed worthy. One simple color choice sparked all that discussion. What if this blonde was the same thing? Just one little change to make her feel closer like Thor. Or.... What if it IS like the Wanda route? But it’s not Wanda’s body that got taken over... What if it was the dutiful wife, the one whom would bend over to collect the droplets of snake venom, the one who would do anything for her husband... even offering her body. What if that’s actually Sigyn? That thought alone has had me all fucked up.   Or maybe this is just alternate universe Loki, we saw one image of Loki jacked as fuck so who knows. But like I said this is the second episode. So who knows, but I am excited to see how this goes.

hey i just wanna say i absolutely love your writing/posts and i hope you have an amazing day and thar you’re doing well & taking care of yourself. i don’t have anything specific in mind so may i request just some jumin fluff? possibly with cuddles?? thank you so much! 💖💘
Aw thank you !! FLUFF! 😭🥰 my inbox really loves angst right now so I was very excited to get to this request. Thank you for being so patient !!
Sleepy - Jumin Han
You and Jumin had been married for six months already! It felt like the time had flown by with him by your side; you had lots of late, stressful nights where he was at the office all evening, but also lots of lovely memories and vacations and gifts. You wouldn’t trade any of it for the world.
You and Jumin planned to give each other traditional anniversary gifts, but the list for those didn’t start until one year. That meant you’d have to be a little creative this time around. You weren’t sure if he’d be expecting it, but you knew he’d love it regardless.
Your plan was to create a dinner that took you through your first few days together, when you really started to fall for him. You refused to let the chef help you; no, this was coming completely from the heart. You had everything set up around the house, domes over the food so that it wouldn’t get cold, and now you waited.
You took a seat at the table where the wine was sitting in its ice bucket, glasses and fancy folded napkins set out for both of you. You pulled out your phone, starting up a game to pass the time. You wouldn’t call Jumin quite yet; he hadn’t called to tell you he was on his way home as he usually did, but you didn’t want to stress him out. He’d be home in no time.
“My Love.” It was Jumin. He looked so handsome, a bouquet of roses in his hand at the door. You ran over to him and embraced him, as you always did when he got home.
“Happy six month anniversary!” You cheered, pressing a kiss to his lips. He didn’t let you escape that quickly, though, pulling you back in to draw it out.
“My love,” he whispered. Your body shook. You jumped. It was a dream. “There you are.”
You opened your eyes slowly. You were laying on the napkin, now collapsed out of its fancy position. You sat up, rubbing your eyes, and looked over at him.
“I should’ve known something was up when you didn’t answer the phone. Or greet me at the door. I’m sorry I was so late,” he had a bittersweet look on his face; he seemed happy to see you but upset that he made you wait so long that you had fallen asleep.
“What time is it?” You asked, still trying to wake yourself up.
“Midnight. Time for bed.” You had gotten everything ready over two hours ago. You were out for two hours?? But, you prepared so much for this!
“No, we can’t!” You exclaimed frantically. “I had this whole fancy dinner planned out for our anniversary... although I guess it’s over now.”
He cupped your cheek gently in his hand. You leaned into his touch. “You seem tired. We should get some rest.”
“Nooo,” you groaned, pulling away from him. “I’m all awake. Please? The food’s probably cold but it was cute so I at least wanna tell you about it.”
“I’m so sorry I was late. I feel like I’ve ruined this,” he frowned. “And you look so cute... so beautiful... but so sleepy.”
You pouted. “I’ll be okay! I’m practically wide awake now.”
He simply chuckled, shaking his head. “Okay, we can do it, on one condition.”
“Anything.”
“We do it in our pjs.”
You hadn’t expected Jumin to propose something so outlandish for something as formal and significant as an anniversary dinner. You raised an eyebrow. “Although you look beautiful, My Love, you’ve rubbed your eye makeup across your face in your half-awake state.”
You felt so embarrassed. You had completely forgotten you had put makeup on. “Oh!” You squeaked. “That’s embarrassing. Uhm, okay. Sounds like a deal.”
You made your way over to your vanity to take off your makeup as Jumin went through the drawers to pick out matching pjs to wear. He settled for silky navy polka dots for the both of you.
He set the impeccably folded pajamas on the vanity, then leaned against the edge of it, watching intently as you removed your makeup. “May I?” He asked, a small blush forming on his cheeks. You shrugged, a soft smile making its way to your lips, and handed him the makeup wipe.
He focused his energy on carefully removing your lipstick, trying to get the product out of the folds of your lips. You let your eyes flutter shut as he worked on taking off your foundation, trusting him to do a good job. “You look like you could fall asleep any moment,” he commented.
Your eyes snapped open. You glanced at your reflection; it seemed like the makeup was pretty much gone. “So not true! Let’s get changed and get this party started.”
The two of you, pajama-clad, made your way to the kitchen. There, on the counter, was your first part of the meal. You lifted the domes, revealing some steak and asparagus. “It’s definitely cold now but... ignore that! If you’re really hungry I can microwave it or something.”
I’m no chef but you should not microwave steak,” Jumin chuckled. He wrapped an arm around your waist, pulling you close to him. “Why did you choose this dish, chef?”
“Like my... fourth? Day in the chat room, you went to lunch with your father and Glam. You had that “Melanin Steak” as you called it, which was actually none other than a steak prepared by Melanie of Mister Chef. But, I digress. You took the worst photo in the world of your meal. That’s the first time I realized you were an actual human being, and a pretty cute one at that.”
“If I remember correctly, it was the first time you called me cute.” His cheeks heated up at the compliment still.
“It was nice to see you weren’t perfect at everything. Plus you started cracking bad jokes. It was inevitable I’d fall for you.”
He leaned forward and placed a kiss on your nose. “That’s adorable. But please don’t make me eat three-hour old steak at midnight.”
You giggled, wordlessly answering his question by grabbing his arm and pulling him to the next stop on your tour: the dining room table.
You took a seat, urging Jumin to do the same, and pulled the wine bottle out of the... now water bucket. The ice had melted. “Uhm... chilled to perfection, but not really, I have some wine here.” You poured a little bit into both of your glasses.
“Now wine at midnight I can get behind,” he smiled, clinking his glass against yours. He took a sip. “This is the first wine we shared.”
“You remember?”
“Of course I do. It’s my favorite wine. It has been from the moment I saw it stain your lips red.”
He was so... poetic. You downed the rest of the glass and stood up. “Dessert time!” You cheered. You eyes his half-full drink. “Chug, chug, chug Jumin. We’re on a tight schedule here!”
He sighed, rolling his eyes playfully and downed the drink. “I would never do that if you hadn’t asked me to. You’re turning me into a mad man, you know that?”
You giggled, showing the way to your bedroom. You lifted up the domes on the plates resting on the bed. “Strawberry pancakes and tea. The first thing you ever made for me.”
He glanced at the room-temperature tea and laughed a little, bringing it up to his lips and drinking a bit to be a good sport. “Earl Grey. Your favorite.”
“Well I know it’s not your favorite, but if I remember correctly you had Earl Grey that day as well,” you observed, tapping a finger on your chin thoughtfully.
“You’re right on the nose.”
He cut a little bit into his pancake, bringing the fork to your mouth for you to try some. You took a bite, eyes fluttering closed. “That good, huh?” He asked.
You forced your eyes open. “Nah, it tastes like cold pancakes. I think I’m just tired.”
He moved the plates to the bedside table then pulled you down to lay on the bed with him. “Does that mean we can finally go to sleep?”
“Finally,” you sighed. He wrapped his arms around you: one around your shoulders and the other around your waist, pulling you close enough that your nose brushed his collarbone.
“I really enjoyed your gift.” He looked down at you, his hair falling to your forehead and tickling you. “May I give you mine tomorrow morning? You seem awfully tired from all the excitement now.”
You shook your head, but mid-shake started to yawn. He scooched up the bed, keeping you tight in his arms, and kicked the blanket to the side so that the two of you could burrow under it. “I guess I am tired,” you said, a smile on your face.
He tangled his legs with your own, trying to get more comfortable. “Is this alright?” He asked, referencing the position. You nodded. “If there’s anything you’d prefer just let me know.”
You nodded again, burying your face into his chest to breathe in the scent of his cologne.
“You’re so perfect, my darling wife.” He spoke aloud, as though he was more thinking to himself aloud though.
“And you’re so perfect to me.” You yawned again. “I’m sorry.”
The bed creaked. Elizabeth the 3 must have jumped onto the bed. Your suspicions were confirmed when you felt her curl up in the bend of your legs. “Good night my perfect husband,” you leaned down to pet Elizabeth, “my perfect baby. Who could ask for any more?”
“Certainly not me. I’ve got everything I need right by my side.” Jumin added. You could hear the smile in his tone. He kissed the side of your head, then started to drift off to sleep.

ELLE: We can’t keep meeting Elizabeth Olsen like this. By “this,” I mean in the throes of catastrophe or bereavement, or, to put it plainly, when she’s an emotional wreck. In the 2018 Facebook Watch drama Sorry For Your Loss, Olsen assumes the role of Leigh Shaw, a young widow grappling with the unexpected loss of her husband and all the painful nuisances that come with death: the unbearable waves of sadness, the clichéd condolences, a grief support group that runs out of donuts. At one point, Leigh says through a cracked voice, “I’m just mad all the time.” It’s hard not to draw parallels to Olsen’s other angry character. After all, “mad” is exactly how 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron introduced us to Wanda Maximoff.
Defined by tragedy since her Marvel debut, Wanda (aka the Scarlet Witch) is an orphan with telekinetic powers. When not saving the world, she spends most of her time onscreen grieving the deaths of her parents, twin brother, or lover. Wanda’s never been allowed to fully exist outside the confines of her grief and anger, but with the launch of WandaVision—Marvel’s foray into serialized content for streaming—she may just be getting the happy ending she deserves.
Partly inspired by The Vision comic book, which follows synthezoid superhero Vision and his family as they move to the suburbs of Washington, D.C., the Disney+ series is an ode to the TV sitcoms we’ve come to love, with Wanda and Vision (Paul Bettany) basking in newlywed bliss—except Vision’s been very dead (killed twice, in fact) since the events of 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War. It’s unclear exactly how these starcrossed characters got to suburbia, but for now, it’s a delight to see the typically solemn duo sink their teeth into slapstick comedy.
“The show is like a blank slate for them,” Olsen tells me over Zoom, her light brown fringe a departure from Wanda’s red waves. The Scarlet Witch’s doleful glare is also long gone; in its place, Olsen’s eyes are wide with excitement. “Wanda and Vision’s journey to this point is a story of pure, innocent love and deep connection with another person,” she explains. “It was also very traumatizing. Tragedy has always been their story. In our show, we kind of wipe that clean and start fresh.”
But Wanda’s complicated past looms over WandaVision. Age of Ultron saw her and her twin brother, Pietro, initially opposing the Avengers (the siblings volunteered for a series of experiments with Hydra—a super evil organization within the MCU—after the deaths of their parents at the hands of Tony Stark’s Stark Industries) before switching sides to help save the Earth. The movie ends in victory for our superheroes, but yet another tragedy for Wanda when Pietro dies in battle. She finds comfort in the arms of Vision, an android created from the remains of Tony’s J.A.R.V.I.S. program, but even that bliss is short-lived. You see, Vision can only live with the help of the Mind Stone, which Mad Titan Thanos needs to take over the universe. In Infinity War, Vision asks Wanda to sacrifice him, and Wanda reluctantly agrees—but Thanos reverses time to gain control of the stone, killing the robot for a second time. Wanda’s pain is palpable: Imagine sacrificing the love of your life to save everyone else, just to watch him brought back to life and killed again—by the very villain you’re trying to defeat.
Though the thrill of playing a character with superhuman abilities is enticing for any actress, Olsen says it was Wanda’s internal battle with mental health that attracted her to the role in the first place. “[Joss Whedon] explained to me that Wanda Maximoff has always been this pillar of the struggle of mental health, from her pain and depression and traumatic experiences to how she completely alters the reality of the comics,” Olsen says of her early conversations with the Age of Ultron director. “The thing I held onto after reading the initial script was that she was not only powerful because of her abilities, but because of her emotions.”
In fact, MCU theorists would argue she’s one of, if not the, strongest Avenger. She can infiltrate the others’ minds to reveal their biggest fears (Age of Ultron). She can overpower Vision and send him plunging through several floors to break up a fight between warring superheroes (Avengers: Civil War). She can even bring Thanos to his knees, snapping his sword in half and forcibly removing his armor piece by piece (Infinity War).
Still, “they keep slapping her over the head with more grief,” Olsen quips.
As phase one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe began with the sound of clanging metal on May 2, 2008, phase four kicked off on January 15, 2021 with a kitschy 1950s sitcom theme: “She’s a magical gal in a small town locale / he’s a hubby who’s part machine / How will this duo fit in and pull through? Oh, by sharing a love / like you’ve never seen.”
With WandaVision, Marvel steers clear of the typical superhero trappings: no destructive battles at a Berlin airport or across the streets of New York City; no blonde-haired god time-traveling to other realms; no tree-like alien fight alongside a raccoon. Wandavision takes place after the events of Endgame in a fictional suburban town called Westview, and the biggest problem the newlyweds face in the show’s opening moments is creating a convincing backstory to get nosy neighbor Agnes (Kathryn Hahn) off their backs.
“They are just trying to fit in,” Olsen explains. “They’re trying to not be found out by their neighbors that they’re super-powered beings.” Now, if only we can figure out what the hell is actually going on. Olsen remains tight-lipped: “The reason it’s a sitcom shows itself later in the show,” she hints. “When Kevin [Feige] told me, it didn’t feel so bizarre. It felt like a great way to start our story.”
“With our show, you don’t know what the villain is, or if there is one at all.”
So, is Wanda stuck in the first stage of grief, denial? Has she altered reality as a coping mechanism for Vision’s death? Is she being held hostage by a terrorist organization (ahem, Hydra!)? One thing we do know is that someone is watching the couple and taking notes. At the end of episode 1, the camera pans out from a retro TV playing an episode of WandaVision (meta!) to show a hand jotting down notes. There’s a strange sword symbol on the notebook and a nearby control board, and in episode 2, the same sign appears on a toy helicopter lodged in the couple’s front yard. Later, when a mysterious beekeeper crawls out of the sewer on the couple’s street, the symbol is seen on the back of his suit. In its 20-plus movies, Marvel villains have always existed in plain sight. But with a new, less obvious darkness lurking at every turn, Wanda may have to return to her world-saving roots.
“Someone said to me when you watch any of these hero movies, you know when the villain’s about to show themselves, and you also have an idea of who the villain is,” Olsen says. “With our show, you don’t know what the villain is, or if there is one at all.” For now, WandaVision allows for glimmers of hope and optimism for Wanda and Vision, despite what darkness tries to threaten their happiness. “Wanda is trying to protect everything in her bubble, protect what she and Vision have and this experience,” Olsen says. “I think everything she does is in response to keeping things together.”
In addition to exploding the concept of the superhero onscreen, WandaVision toys with a different era of TV in each episode. The pilot takes viewers to the ‘50s with an episode filmed in front of a live studio audience, and Wanda dresses up in the quintessential housewife garb, not a hair out of place in her voluminous bob. By the time we click on episode 2, she trades in her apron and kitten heels for a more pared-down ‘60s look, while episode 3 gives a nod to the ‘70s, complete with a Brady Bunch-style staircase and a shag haircut for Vision.
While dressing up was the fun part, time-hopping through the eras required a lot of binge-watching old sitcoms to get the mannerisms down right. Olsen studied series like The Dick Van Dyke Show, The Brady Bunch, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and Bewitched to “understand the tones of each era” and get a grasp of how Wanda and Vision should act as a couple. (One of her favorite TV pairings was Jane Kaczmarek and Bryan Cranston from Malcolm in the Middle.) She was fascinated by the way female characters evolved through the decades: “You have to learn appropriate manners—what’s considered being polite or proper. That coincides with women’s voices changing,” she explains. “I enjoyed challenging myself to match the syntax and the lyricism. I live in a very chest-register kind of deep voice. I had to remember not to bring it up at certain moments.”
For so long, Wanda served as a supporting character to Marvel’s biggest names, and the formulaic mundanity of the major theatrical releases made it easy to get comfortable. WandaVision offered Olsen a much-needed challenge. “I’ve only been working for 10 years, but there is this feeling where you start to get comfortable,” she says. “WandaVision was the furthest thing from comfortable for me. It felt intimidating. The character is a completely different thing.”
And fans hoping for a little Marvel action won’t be disappointed. “We still live up to what Marvel does,” she promises. “We just tell the story in a completely different way. It’s a very emotional, female story and it’s a story they haven’t told yet for either of our characters.” Whatever your theory is, keep the cliché condolences to yourself. No one will be uttering, “Sorry for your loss” in Wanda’s world.

Dianakko Week
Day 1: Childhood Friends
A weird proposal
Summary:
-Will you marry me?
-No
-Why?!
- We are to young
-Okey, but when we grow up you’ll marry me!
-Deal!
AO3 Link here
“A pair of little girls where playing in a beautiful garden on the outskirts of a manor, the day was perfect, the sun shined with all of its majesty on the big blue sky, the clouds where so fluffy that they resemble cotton candy, the grass where the girls were running had a beautiful light green color and the wind smelled like flowers
“Girls! Come in, its lunchtime” the voice of a middle age woman was heard from the inside of the manor
“We’re going mommy!” Answered the girl with blonde locks “Akko hurry, my mum makes the best food in the whole world” She hurried her crimson eyed friend
“Goin’ goin’, let me take one last flower” Akko was stuck in some bushes for having chased a butterfly, when she got inside of them she found some beautiful blue flowers so she decide to collect some for the other girl
“And… ready! Take it Diana, this are for you” the little girl full of dirt and leafs handed a little bouquet to her best friend while she smiled with her toothless smile
“Thank you very much Akko, but let’s go, it’s lunchtime” the little girl with blue eyes received the flowers with one hand and with the other she took Akko’s to start walking to her home
“Wait!” Akko stoped in her tracks before they enter the house
“What now Akko?” Diana asked with a little annoyance because her little tummy was hungry
“I want to ask you a question!” She answered with excitement and a glint in her eyes
“Okay but do it quickly” Even if she was hungry she will not deny to answer a question to Akko ‘cause she really liked to see her friend get excited when she heard her really brilliant answers, also, Akko’s questions where always funny
“Will you marry me?” Akko said happily
“What?” The confusion was notorious in the voice and gestures of Diana
“Will you marry me?” The little brunette asked for the second time
“No” Answered the blue eyed one with a frown
“Why?!” Screamed the Japanese girl while she crossed her arms and make a cute pout
“Because we are too young, my mum says only big people can get married”
“Okay…” Akko said with resignation, her pout was still on her little face, when suddenly her gesture of sadness and tantrum changed for one of determination “but when we grow up you’ll have to marry me!” She screamed with happiness
“Deal! now let’s go eat”
In those moments neither of them known what they were saying, or well, one of them didn’t
*18 years later*
“Umm… hey, Diana?” The, not so little, crimson eyed girl stopped dead and caught the attention of her, now a days, girlfriend
—————————————————————————————————
The years had passed, Diana had lost her parents, Akko went back to Japan, both of them lost contact with the other one for a long time, it looked like if their little childhood friendship had ended, but, by some weird fate thing, they met again, the conditions weren’t the best ‘cause both of them had changed
They weren’t anymore the little cute children that played and run on the outskirts of the Cavendish manor, Diana wasn’t anymore the friendly and kind girl that played without worries, Akko wasn’t anymore the fearful little girl that enjoyed to mock people, both of them had grown and changed, also, the way they reunited was ‘weird’ to say at least
*Freshman year*
“We’re here!” A teenager with Asian features, a ginger girl, and a pale with reddish eyes gal where coming out from what it looked was the stage of the Luna Nova’s theater
“Lotte, Sucy, we did it! Yay!” The brunette girl exclaimed while she come completely out of the little passage
“Akko?” A blonde girl whispered to herself when she saw the no so gentle entrance of her will-be schoolmates…
And although at the beginning they looked that they hate each other everything went just fine, their relationship had changed again, they weren’t anymore the best friends that they were in their childhood or the rivals they were in high school or even the beautiful couple they were in their college years, now 18 years after they get separated for the first time their relationship was going to change again
—————————————————————————————————
“What’s the matter sweetheart?” Diana turned to see her nervous girlfriend that had her eyes stuck on the floor and was playing with her hands “Are you alright?” She asked with concern
“N-no… well I am, but I’m not?” Akko release a nervous chuckle and looked up to see her other friends and take a big breath
The nine girls were walking in the halls of the college, all of them were in their last year of their careers, a new chapter of life was about to start and Diana didn’t know hers was going to be a really special one
Lotte, one of Akko’s bestfriends, looked directly to the eyes of her nervous friend and smiled with sweetness while she nod with encouragement
All of their friends were looking at Akko with smiles in their faces, some of the looked a little more excited than the others, Hannah and Barbara seemed that they were about to explode of happiness, Amanda just winked her eye to Akko and give her a thumbs-up, Sucy was denying with her head with a little and nearly nonexistent smile, Constanze took out her phone a start recording and at last Jasminka had stopped eating to appreciate what was about to happen
Diana’s heart started to beat in anticipation, she didn’t knew why but to see all of her friends and girlfriend in such a suspicious way thrilled her for some reason
“Girls, what’s happening?” The blonde asked and unconsciously she took her hands to her chest
“Okay, come on, you can do it, do it they way your rehearsed it, do it for her” Akko was whispering to herself with her eyes closed while she was breathing heavily to calm herself
While all of this was happening all of their other schoolmates started to get close out of curiosity to appreciate the scene that was developing in front of them, it didn’t matter the grade nor the career they were studying, every single one of them knew about Akko and Diana and all of them were in love of their beautiful relationship, so, if the thing that was happening had to do something with them it had to be something really special, even some of the teachers got close to the scene to see what was happening with more clarity and know if they had to lecture Akko or one of her problematic friends, obviously they didn’t get close to find out about the beautiful love story that was blooming in their halls
Akko opened her eyes and saw the big amount of students that were surrounding them
“They are a lot more people that we thought…” she said with panic
“Come on! You can do it Akko! Do it for your girl!” Amanda screamed with encouragement, thanks to this all of their other schoolmates started screaming words of encouragement to Akko, they didn’t know why they where doing it but, hey! Supporting a pal is alway a good thing
When Diana saw so many people surrounding her, her two bestfriends by her side smiling sweetly at her and her girlfriend in front of her an inexplicable desire to cry came to her, a beautiful idea had formulated in her mind but she wasn’t sure if that was the thing that was about to happen
“Okay, this is my only chance, all or nothing, you can do it Kagari!” Akko give herself a couple of slaps on both of her cheeks and looked Diana once again with a nervous smile
“H-hello” she said with nervousness while she did an awkward greeting gesture with her hand
“H-hi” Diana answered with a broken voice, thanks to the lump in her throat
By this moment everyone was in complete silence, the only sound was the sudden sound of cellphones taking photos or recording
“Alright, this is way more difficult that I thought, but, I have a couple of questions for you that I expect you to answer them with all of your sincerity, if that’s okay for you” Akko was avoiding Diana’s sight at all costs
“O-of course” Diana answered after a couple of seconds
“S-so, first of all, do you remember the deal we do eighteen year ago?” Akko asked between a couple of nervous laughs
“When we were kids? I’m not sure” Diana low her hands from her chest and took the ones of her friends
“Well, eighteen years ago you made a deal with me, at the time I asked you, you said no, but, you also said you would do it when we grew up” Akko looked up to finally see Diana and smile at her fearfully, it was if someone had catched her doing something she shouldn’t be doing
Diana’s eyes became wide with realization, a small gasp came out of her lips, the girl release Hannah’s hand and take it to mouth
“And as you said you don’t remember your promise I’ll ask you that question again” the girl turned around to Amanda who took out a small box of her pocket and handed to her with a strong slap on the shoulder
“Diana, after knowing you all of this years, after seeing you cry, laugh and get mad, after seeing you accomplish your goals and exceed big obstacles I’ve decide that I want to be by your side a lot more of years, I want to take you in my arms in your lows and look at you with proudness every time I’ll saw you, therefore I would want to know if you would like to make me the happiest girl in the world and…” Akko said all of this while seeing Diana in the eyes with a sweet smile, she took both of Diana’s hands in hers, a couple of tears escaped from her own eyes, and, just before she was about to ask her last question she took a couple of steps back and she got in one knee to proceed to see Diana with adoration
“And I would like to know if you, Diana Elizabeth Cavendish, would give me, Atsuko Kagari, the honor of being your wife?” She opened the small case to reveal a beautiful gold ring decorated with a gorgeous sapphire
Diana was in shock, tears come out of her eyes like waterfalls, she didn’t believed what was happening, the poor girl was shaking, she turn her head to both sides to see Hannah and Bárbara crying while giving her exciting nods, they were hugging each other with anxiety.
She turned around to see her friends that were equally looking at her with anticipation, Lotte was also crying and was squeezing Sucy’s arm with strength, the mushroom lover was looking at Diana with seriousness but with approval at the same time.
She turned around to see all of her schoolmates that were waiting for an answer.
She turned around to saw her teachers that were looking at them with a motherly-like smile
And at the end, she turned around to see Akko, she look at her directly in the eyes, she looked at those crimson eyes that she have always loved, those beautiful eyes that seemed to be stars that were steal from the nightsky, she look to those beautiful eyes and once again she saw that cute little girl that enjoyed to take flowers from her garden and give them to her, she saw that curious girl that liked to take her hand to explore the forest, she saw once again that beautiful girl that she all those years ago promise to marry with…
“Yes” she said in a little whisper and she cleaned her tears
“Yes yes yes!” She started saying it louder while she jumped “obviously yes!”
Akko let out a breath she didn’t know she was holding and took out the ring from the case to put it on Diana.
In the moment when Diana said ’yes’ all of the girls and teachers exploded in claps and happiness screams for the new fiancées
After giving the ring to her now, fiancée the Japanese girl got up and took her in a love-filled embrace, small sobs escaped from her because of the fear she had felt all of the day
After a couple of seconds Akko broke the hug to see Diana on the eye, she put their foreheads together and just before she closed the missing distance she said:
“Thank you” and after eighteen years she closed the deal with a cute kiss.

Minor F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Rant - Ross is NOT the Worst
So I’ve hit a little breaking point here. We all know that Friends is iconic, reruns on loop are a huge part of many people’s downtime
But recently, everyone seems to get on Ross Geller’s ass
I think most of it is because it’s easy to pick on him, he’s neurotic and has a tendency to whine and be stubborn. The ‘We were on a break’ debacle still gets argued today - and they were on a break, Rachel even clarified ‘a break from us’, and it’s not like he went to the bar with intention to sleep with someone AND he was 100% right about Mark.
Here’s the thing though, everyone says ‘Ross is awful’ But every one of the Friends are awful, that’s the point, they are all flawed people who try to grow in a way where they get stability. Some may say ‘yeah, but Ross is the worst’ but to that I ask...is he? He’s certainly not great, being snobby, self-loathing and fragile in his masculinity
But let’s consider what the others have done Note: This is not a ‘Why XXX Deserves More Respect’ post, so I’m not all out defending Ross here, I’m just pointing out that his fellow Friends are not as pristine as made out
Phoebe - Phoebe’s past itself is layered in mystery and violence, at some point she stabbed a cop and she mugged a kid Ross, so we will glance over that as her having a past, but I don’t think Ross ever impersonated a police officer, a literal crime, and only got off because the officer was attracted to her. She also implies to be a bigamist since she was married to the ‘gay’ ice skater and also implied to have been married in Vegas, believing that it only counts in Vegas. She also immediately dates her identical twin sister’s ex-fiancé when he broke up with her which is a little bit sketchy, and off-handedly bullies Ross and Chandler, finding times to mock and undermine them. Not to mention the fact that she kissed David while dating Mike, and she also stole a kid’s cat thinking her mother’s soul was in it.
Monica - Equally if not more neurotic due to her OCD, Monica has that destructive side to her too. She sabotaged Rachel’s chances with Jean Claude Van Damme out of jealousy, she dated her ex’s son and she bet away her and Rachel’s apartment in the heat of competitiveness. While an accident she was also reckless with Ben and hit his head and her marriage to Chandler apparently mattered little when she flirted with Celebrities on the roof party. Monica’s hands may be the cleanest of the six but she is not without her faults.
Chandler - Perhaps the most neurotic and self-sabotaging, Chandler is partly responsible for a few of Ross’ relationships falling apart; letting slip that Ross had feelings for Rachel, making Ross write a pros and cons list between Rachel and Julie and taking him to a bar after the break - not to mention telling Ross not to be honest about it and erase all evidence of sleeping with the Xerox Girl, Chloe. He also leaves Ross’ son on a bus - who he took mainly to pick up women, kisses Joey’s sisters and then doesn’t recognize which one he kissed, toys on Rachel’s boss Joanna twice, kisses Joey’s girlfriend, steals several cheesecakes he doesn’t pay for and tells a kid he’s adopted, which is pretty damaging stuff. He also almost runs out on his wedding with Monica, and in an attempt to prank Ross says he has sex with Dinosaurs, and then that he’s dead. His fear of commitment also made him toy with Janice for the early seasons of their on-off relationship.
Joey - I mean, let’s just set aside most of the bachelor stuff, Joey has courted a few taken women, for instance his ex Angela who he wrapped Monica into helping so she could date Angela’s then-boyfriend too, he also slept with Kate while both were dating other people. Outside of dating he also attempted to sabotage one of his students for a part in a show, he abandons Chandler on a highway when he rightfully shows doubts about this movie gig and is too stubborn to admit that Chandler was right, he also threw Ginger’s wooden leg into a fire and bolted and like Chandler lost Ben, contributed to sabotaging Ross with the list and took Ross to a bar during the break. He impersonates a Doctor to get personal information on a patient for Phoebe, tries to steal an award he claims in someone else’s stead and tried to steal his childhood toy from a baby! Joey’s personality is the only thing that really makes people look past his flaws.
Rachel - people say Ross is the worst, but I’d contest that Rachel is far more destructive than Ross, especially towards Ross himself, the on-off relationship of the two had often caused Rachel to be conniving and borderline sociopathic towards him. Most of Ross’ non-Rachel relationships are sabotaged by Rachel - the most direct sabotage being convincing Bonnie to shave her head so she could appear the more attractive option - she invites conflict even without thinking about whether she actually wants to be with Ross, she also does this to Joey. She acts really hostile to Ross’ partners, Julie especially - even Ross was less aggressive towards Mark than Rachel was to Julie, the same can be said with Charlie too when Joey was dating her but not to the same extent as Julie. After kicking Ross out of her office for trying to do a romantic gesture on their year anniversary she instigates the ‘break’, and then immediately let Mark, the focal point of their core argument leading to this break, into her apartment even though she had to know it’d hurt Ross - which it does since this action also causes Ross to spiral further into sleeping with the Xerox girl. After that in Barbados, she was petty enough to immediately after breaking up Ross and Bonnie write an 18 page front-and-back waiver just to justify herself as in the right to date Ross again, in the aftermath of that she also dates a college student just to spite Ross - before Ross then dates a college student and Rachel then dates Elizabeth’s dad. No list of Rachel’s constant sabotage of Ross’ relationships would be complete without mentioning that time she went to (and successfully achieved to) stop Ross and Emily’s wedding too, Ross was legitimately happy and Rachel went to London, professed her love, realised how stupid she was being, and then still won the day. Rachel also demonstrates a lack of independence and petty jealousy of others, seen when out of jealousy for Chandler and Monica getting engaged she tries to booty call Ross twice, the second time getting her pregnant. She also tends to play victim even when she’s in the wrong; when Vegas happened, she painted Ross as a gay heroin addict for the annulment which spirals into Ross having the third divorce he wanted to avoid, she would also later reveal that she remembers suggesting they get married too. She also tries to lump blame on Ross for getting her pregnant even though the video proves that she came onto him and throws Ross under the bus with her father when confronted on why she is not with Ross despite having his baby.
Obviously, in spite of this people will sympathize with Rachel because Barry cheated on her and then went on their honeymoon with the person he cheated on, Maid of Honor Mindy, and because they would also feel that Ross cheated on her too. But Rachel was not above cheating herself: she had sex with Barry knowing he was engaged to Mindy, she would also be Mindy’s maid of honor for that wedding, on top of that she also convinced Ross to let her go on Ross and Emily’s honeymoon, the same thing she was mad at Barry for doing - meaning she was a hypocrite as well. Outside of Ross, Rachel also intentionally conspired to make Chandler and Monica uncomfortable for keeping their relationship secret, she dates her assistant Tag and breaks up with him on her birthday simply because he didn’t fit into her ‘plan’, she stole Monica’s perfect baby name and immediately agrees to marry Joey just so she wouldn’t be alone after having Ross’ baby. In the final episodes she also agrees to a job in Paris without considering how this’d affect Ross, the father of her child who already had to barely see his other son, when she intended to take Emma with her.
As entertaining the characters are they are, by design, not flawless; many times being vengeful saboteurs, having tendencies to be hostile, jealous, unfaithful, judgmental, hypocritical and compulsive liars, with each reaching maturation points at different points in the show (if at all) only in later seasons when they settle down.
While this does include Ross in having his fair share of unlikable moments, I have always felt that it’s unfair that Ross becomes the ‘easy target’ especially when in my opinion Rachel is worse but forgiven mostly because she’s the pretty face and Ross looks like David Schwimmer.

“An archangel…”
Your words breathed out in disbelief. Although still in your attack position, you were caught off guard at what you had heard.
Your eyes narrowed at his carefree smile. “Why are you here? You have no reason to be mingling with demonkind.”
He sheepishly shrugged. “Well, actually, I originally came here many centuries ago to rid of the rogue angel, as I was ordered to. But then...something came up.”
He locked eyes with you. “A certain half-breed of a demon was spotted by the angel I was hunting. And at that point, my mission was changed.”
He didn’t notice when you gulped at the memory.
“See, Abigail, as cliché as this sounds, I was assigned to be a watcher over you, you know?”
When he took a step closer, you raised your hand, your pointer finger signaling him to stop at his own risk.
You licked your lips as you straightened up and lowered your hands. “Let me get this straight...you’re saying that you are supposed to be my ‘guardian angel’?”
A grin broke out on his face as he suppressed a laugh. “Oh, no. Nothing like that.” He crossed his arms behind his back. “Just a watcher. I was only allowed to ensure you stayed out of trouble and where you belonged.”
The laugh you let out made him pucker his lips. You side-eyed him and the smile you momentarily had dropped.
“You’re my warden.”
He tilted his head back and forth and raised his eyebrows, confirming what you knew. “I guess you could say that.”
You sighed and outstretched your arms in a questioning manner. “If that’s true then why were you working with my king? Why did you come to me on the boat? Why should I even believe you?”
He rolled his eyes, growing annoyed with your many questions. “Look, I’m sure you want to know a lot of things. But for now, I think we have bigger problems to deal with. Trancy.”
You jerked your head back and scoffed. “We? Did you really expect to earn my trust just by telling me the truth? What we are up against is purely an enemy of my master, no one else.”
He loudly groaned and walked up to you. “Okay, you know what? You are way too suspicious for your own good. We need to hurry up and I told you the truth because I need your help!”
As he brushed by you, you suddenly grabbed his arm. He looked back at you and his eyebrows drew together.
Your eyes suddenly felt heavy, your skin feeling as if it was on fire. You began to gag as the familiar sensation of your blood boiling came over you.
“Abigail?”
When you glanced down at where you felt it originating, you spotted a small arrow in your shin. Hurriedly, you reached down and pulled it out. When you sniffed the end, your heart dropped.
“Dead man’s blood…”
His eyes widened when you collapsed, but he still managed to catch you.
“Abigail? Abigail!”
Your vision grew blurry as you managed to make out a person behind him. Within a few seconds, he was kicked to the ground and you thought you saw a woman standing over him, placing what looked like handcuffs on him.
And then the ringing in your ears drowned out everything else, and your eyelids slowly closed to blackness.
●●●
“Abigail! Wake up!”
The moment the sound of his whispered voice hit your ears, your eyes snapped open. He sat beside you, chains around his ankles as a pair of cuffs were around his wrists. They had strange markings on them, in a language you had never seen before.
Your face was cold to the touch due to it being against a steel metal beam connecting the roof and the floor. Your entire body was still on fire but you could tell the blood wasn’t gonna keep you weakened for much longer.
He sighed when he saw your eyes met his. “Well, glad you could join us finally. Did you have a nice nap?”
You narrowed your eyes, choosing to ignore his sarcasm. “Us?”
An amused smile spread on his face as he nodded his head in your direction, his eyes landing on something behind you.
You twisted your neck to look and when you saw the image of the prisoner you had identified not too long ago, still wearing the bag over her head, you seethed through your teeth.
“Oh, how perfect. She’s here.”
But after a few seconds of looking at her, a thought crossed your mind. “Hold on, they said they were taking her to the room the device was in. If she’s here, then where is it?”
He puckered his lips and glanced around. As he did, you focused your attention on the very heavy chains keeping you in place.
You were bound differently from them, for you had a leg chain so long that it was wound all around your body, and two rings on your neck, one attached to the chain, the other to what you believe they call a "keep-friend" or "friend's foot," from which hung two irons reaching to your waist with two manacles fixed to them in which your hands were secured by a big padlock so that you could neither raise your hands to your mouth nor lower your head to your hands.
“This seems a bit excessive…”
You eyed his own restraints and scoffed. “You can’t seriously tell me those handcuffs are keeping you in place?”
He exhaled through his nose and looked back at you. “Not only do they hold me here, but they drain my super impressive archangel powers as well.”
Your nose scrunched up. “How troublesome. What is that written on them? I’m not familiar with it.”
He forced a smile as he raised his hands. “Enochian. They’re specifically designed to keep archangel’s locked tight. I had heard Trancy got a hold of them somehow and that is the only reason I’m even here. Our deal was he’d give them to me so I could add it to my collection if I handed over my instrument.”
You have a short chuckle. “Well, I guess this means your deal is off then?”
He dropped his hands as he clenched his jaw. “I guess so…”
“You’re very chatty, aren’t you?”
The two of you immediately moved your attention to the woman that had entered, wearing a revealing black gown. You tilted your head in confusion. She looked extremely familiar, but you couldn’t put your finger on it.
“My master ordered me to subdue the two of you. He wasn’t very pleased with you talking to our enemy, I’m afraid.”
Uriel rolled his eyes at her. But the more she talked, it finally clicked who she was. The maid. “That’s strange...I thought I saw you bump into me earlier...your outfit is hardly appropriate for your position.”
She raised an eyebrow. “You are certainly one to talk.”
You glanced down, remembering you were still in Lau’s ridiculous monstrosity of an outfit. “Oh. Right.”
Your head shot up at her when she turned towards the back of the room. “Hold on, you’re the only maid in this estate. If that wasn’t you earlier than who…”
Slowly, your eyes enlarged. “Oh no...Ciel!”
●●●
”Good show, you’re all exceptionally skilled.”
Sebastian mockingly smiled down at the three identical servants that had attempted to decapitate him just moments ago. They stared up at him, jaws dropped when he jumped down from the tree he had been in, and ran passed them.
Ciel, who was in Sebastian’s arms, was holding on for dear life as Sebastian charged full speed ahead toward where Claude and Alois stood not too far away. One of the servants swung a blade at his head, which he easily avoided.
As he continued to run, he stared down at Ciel. He muttered to himself as he thought back to a few weeks before when you and he escaped the Trancy manor with Ciel’s body in a briefcase.
“It was like carrying a doll...running virtually unburdened.”
Ciel’s head moved up at Sebastian, as he caught what he had said. “Did you say something?”
Sebastian only smiled and looked away from him as he ran, a hint of laughter coming through his words. “Only that it would be far, far easier to carry you if you were in some sort of container, like a trunk, I’d say.”
Ciel’s eyebrows furrowed. “Is this any time to be joking?”
His laughter ceased instantly. “My apologies, master.”
His eyes locked onto Alois and Claude, who stood with his arm out in front of his master, protecting him. Alois watched in absolute joy as Sebastian spun around in front of them, his foot kicking the bangs in front of Claude’s face before he did a backflip over them, landing on the other side and continuing to run.
Ciel noticed the smirk of triumph on Sebastian’s face as he ran. “Sebastian, we need to get the guests out of there. What Trancy said has me worried. We must hurry and get to them.”
Sebastian only chuckled at him. “I wouldn’t worry much, sir. The servants are capable enough to handle whatever is thrown at them.”
He didn’t really believe that, though. He was truly only thinking about you as he said it.
Ciel only glanced down as his grip on Sebastian’s coat tightened.
“It’s not those three that I’m worried about...we need to get both Elizabeth and Isabella out of there, they aren’t skilled enough to handle this. Their safety is the top priority.”
Sebastian glanced at him from the corner of his eye. “Isabella? She’s only a servant, master. I’m not sure that she’s worth your worry.”
Ciel nearly slapped him with his glare. “You may not understand it, but she is important. A human to you, but family to me.”
Sebastian began to slow down, his eyes narrowing at Ciel.
“If you say so, master.”
●●●
Uriel sighed as he watched you attempt to stand up, only resulting in you falling on your side for the 50th time.
“Honestly Abigail, this is getting old. You aren’t going anywhere whether you like it or not.”
You growled at him as you managed to sit up. “Well, it would be nice if you’d help out a bit. And stop calling me that damn name!”
Your sight landing on the maid as she walked over to the nun with the bag over her head. She smirked at you before removing the bag.
The moment the girl’s eyes adjusted to the poorly lit room, her eyes landed on you. She froze in an instant, her eyes growing bigger. And not even a few seconds later, she let out a blood-curdling scream and scooted her feet to back away from your direction. Only, it was muffled by the rag in her mouth.
Your eyes never left her figure, only making her more afraid as tears pricked her eyes. The maid reached over and removed the gag from her mouth, but not before giving her a slap across the face, silently warning her to not make another sound.
Her lips quivered as she never let you leave her sight. “You...you’re the monster that tried to kill me!”
Your lips pursed together, making a duck face. “Actually, I’m a demon. Kind of. I don’t even know anymore to be honest. But you don’t gotta be so loud about it.”
She pointed a finger at you, her face in pure shock. “You are...a d...demon? They exist?”
You waved your bound hand back and forth. “Unfortunately, yeah.”
Her eyes moved on Uriel, who had been intently watching your back and forth. “Then are you one as well?!”
He raised his cuffed hands, shrugging. “Angel, actually. Or archangel to be exact.”
Her eyes widened in admiration. “An archangel? Oh my...it is an honor to grace your presence, soldier of the Lord.”
He made a face of exasperation. “Yes, yes. You’re welcome. I know, I’m amazing.”
He yelped when you kicked him with your feet before shooting you a glare. You focused back on the girl.
“Oh, and I hate to break it to you, but the man that, uh, massaged you, he’s a demon too. And my mate. So keep that in mind if you ever think about him again. Cause It’ll probably be the last thing you ever think. Cause then I’ll kill you. Just warning you now.”
She loudly gasped and sat up on her knees. “He is?! So you’re saying I...I laid with a demon?!”
You rested your forehead against the metal beam again. “Well, technically, I guess. If that’s what you call massaging you, then yeah.”
She cocked her head, a deep blush coming on her cheeks. “Massage? That wasn’t like any massage I’d ever had then…”
Your eyes slowly moved to her, your head coming off the beam as you leaned in her direction. “Watch what you say. You’re lucky you got even as much as a massage before I killed you.”
She gulped, holding her hands up in defense. “I didn’t mean any ill intent, your demon-ness. It’s just that he didn’t ‘just’ massage me…”
Your back straightened up as your words spat with venom. “What are you on about, slut? Spit it out, I know you wanna say something.”
She looked at you in fear as well as curiosity. “I don’t know why you’re so into it, but…”
“He didn’t just massage me. We fornicated. He penetrated me.”
Uriel’s eyebrows shot up, a grimace coming onto his face. “Oh boy. This isn’t gonna go well.”
Her heart began to beat faster as she caught your stare. Your eyes had completely darkened over, all light draining from them.
You felt your body begin to shake uncontrollably with anger, tears pricking your eyes at what you had just heard.
Uriel looked at you, growing fearful of what you might do. “Abigail?”
Your jaw tightened as tears finally spilled over, falling down your cheek.
“He...cheated on me?”
Your nostrils flared as your eyes changed color to their terrifying blackish-blue.
“And he lied to me about it?”
Uriel sighed at the frightened face of the nun and scooted closer to you. “Hey. You need to get a hold of yourself. We have more important things to worry about.”
“Are you all done with your melodramatic moment?”
Your inhuman eyes snapped to the maid, who was still in the room, watching all of you. You immediately sat up once you noticed another person beside her, his body encased in a black bag.
Uriel noticed it as well. “Oh, great. Another hostage? Aren’t you getting a little overboard with it?”
She only smiled at him as she tossed the bag on the ground in front of you. It let out a whimper as it hit the ground.
Its head moved around a bit until a small hole broke out through the material. It thrashed around until it completely turned around and you saw a head poke out. It was a man.
The man completely ripped the bag apart and his full body emerged from it. And it made the nun’s face heat up. Because the man was naked.
At this point, your tears had dried up and your eyes returned to normal. Your eyebrows drew together in confusion.
“Pluto?”

Young Adult Contemporary Recommendations
What is it? YA Contemporary novels are what is often described as “Realistic Fiction.” Except for young adults—that is, teens. These feature a world, that for all intents and purposes, is our own and usually takes place in the present, but occasionally jumps back a decade or two (but not much more than that.)
This list is best if you just want those feel good, mindless reads that just leave you feeling good inside. There’s not gonna be any literary masterpieces here but I read purely for enjoyment. I would consider most of these books I liked to read on the toilet, to put it simply, and honestly I’ll probably just have a whole library in the bathroom of my future house.
**personal favorites
Sarah Dessen Novels** (simple, light, and easy to read coming-of-age love stories / I have a whole separate post dedicated to her)
To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before** Trilogy by Jenny Han: Fake dating is one of my all time favorite tropes in fanfiction/dramas and this is the YA book that does it the best because it takes inspiration from KDramas. The movies are good in bringing the story to life, but I really just feel like the books are better. I don’t really care for Jenny Han’s other books that much but TATB is just such a staple in YA contemporary. Also bonus points for Asian representation. (It was actually just supposed to be a duology but she spoiled us with a third book)
My Life Next Door** by Huntley Fitzpatrick: This that slow burn, friends to lovers, fuzzy feelings type of book. It’s got Sarah Dessen vibes and that’s always a plus in my book. I really liked how mature the characters were in this and like not frustrating (rare in teenage stories). It was funny, characters were developed beyond the main love story, and was just totally feel good. It’s YA contemporary at its best. It gets kinda dramatic towards the end similar to how a fluffy KDrama likes to throw in a random plot twist for dramatic tension at the end but that’s okay. I’m down for it.
Little Blue Envelopes Duology** by Maureen Johnson: Okay so you either like both books, like one book way more than the other, or dislike both. For me while I liked both, I enjoyed the second book (The Last Little Blue Envelope) WAY MORE. If you read it, y’all will probably figure out why but these are just fun travel around Europe books. It’s like a big old scavenger hunt across Europe and somehow that just makes it all better. I never reread the first book, but I’ve read the second book multiple times.
Ruby Oliver Series (4 Books) by E. Lockhart: This is one of those series that gets better as the series goes on, so even if you’re not totally into The Boyfriend List, it’s pretty worth it to keep going if you’re looking for something funny and filled with A LOT of boys. Ruby is flawed, interesting, has anxiety and frequent panic attacks, was abandoned by all her friends and cheated on by her boyfriend and you can’t help but feel bad for her but also cringe internally at all her trials. The therapy sessions are hilarious, the footnotes are great, and overall just a good time. I did read this in high school though so my tastes might have changed but I just remember really liking these enough to buy the whole series (Also all the books are super short and easy to get through)
We Were Liars by E. Lockhart: Opposite of all the feel good, fun books on this list is We Were Liars. The plot twist is A1 and even though I didn’t personally connect with any of the characters, it was fascinating to read. It’s on the more serious side but is so well done and I find myself recommending this book to people when I don’t wanna share with them that I have the literary taste of a high schooler.
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins: I read this in middle school and I think it partly inspired me to take French in high school. It was just such a sweet romance and you can’t really be mad at this book because it’s so wholesome and genuine. It’s just a book that makes you love love and also really makes you wanna go to boarding school in Paris. There’s two companion novels (Lola and the Boy Next Door, Isla and the Happily Ever After) but they don’t really hold a candle to the original.
Save the Date by Morgan Matson: Okay if you ask me what I specifically remember from this book, I can’t tell you a damn thing. That might be because I read most of it sitting in a Barnes and Noble but I remember having a good time with it. I’m also biased because I love weddings and the chaos of them and this book just captures it. I heard her other book Since You’ve Been Gone is better, but I’ve just never gotten around to it.
Someone Else’s Life by Katie Dale: I was that kid in school that spent a lot of time in the library scoping the shelves for good YA and I picked this one up at random and it pleasantly surprised me. The plot twist was hella juicy and it was basically a Makjang KDrama (overly dramatic plot points). Like this shit was wild and like I don’t even know if it was actually good or if my high school self just got sucked into the craziness of it all. I’m putting it on the list anyways.
Flat Out Love by Jessica Park: This is another contemporary that has a big plot twist reveal towards the end. It’s one of those books that makes you fall in love with love but it also doesn’t miss out on the angst. It incorporates emails, social media, and texting without being cringe and I just remember it being a good book.
Perfect You and Something Maybe** by Elizabeth Scott: I have no strong reasoning for recommending these books outside of that I really really liked them when I read them back in the day. They were on the short side so I was always rereading them. I think it’s a trend with my contemporary recs in that I randomly found them at the public library and devoured them. I ended up loving them enough to actually buy them. I think what made them stand out was that they were funny and simple and just the right amount of spice to keep you enticed.
Somewhere Only We Know by Maureen Goo: KPop Star meets a cute tabloid reporter (WHO IS ALSO ASIAN) and sparks fly. Objectively, this should not be good. Subjectively, I greatly enjoyed it.
Kasie West Books: I don’t really know how she does it but this lady churns out books like a madman. Most of them are not great, and they’re really just a minor step above Wattpad but I figured I’d give her a shoutout just for the sheer number of mindless reads she puts out. If you gotta read her, the books I would suggest are On the Fence, The Distance Between Us, and P.S. I Like You.
