Will tries not to let on just how high his standards are for himself or how they're slowly crushing him under their weight. It's hard for him to open up about it when he's afraid that at any moment, it'll all come crashing down on him. Yet, perhaps it's time for this son of Apollo to bleed a small portion of that pain off.

Wyll

Will is a pious man. He tries really hard to remain level-headed and cool as a cucumber.

That doesn't mean he doesn't have a moment or two of self-doubt or even rage.

Wyll is very quiet until he needs to speak up. He likes to observe and monitor the situation. For example, Y/N is being touched and laughing with Astarion for too long.

Wyll tried at first to use justification; maybe this is happening cause you are planning a battle strategy, or you need something lock-picked.

As the night progresses, he gets even more anxious and feels his blood boiling. Why haven't you come to his tent yet? Why are you busy now talking to that stupid Wizard?

Will would like do some soothing mantras, maybe even yoga, to calm himself down.

When you moved to talk to Halsin over him, though, all bets were off. Will stormed over there, so red in the face he rivaled the trim of his shirt.

Will is never physically harmful, but he did grab the back of your neck like a cat and redirect you to his tent.

As he let you in his tent before he entered, he turned to look at all the others in your group and stared them down individually before joining you.

Wyll hugged you close and sighed into your shoulder now that you were finally in his grasp.

As he calmed down, he started to feel really bad for his emotions and feelings of jealousy.

While doting on you, apologizing for his transgressions, you would tell him how much you liked it and thought it was hot.

That was all he needed to form an impish grin and smash his lips against yours. Wyll left hickies in places you didn't know hickies could go.

The following day, he had a huge grin, and you, sore and refreshed from your night together, proved to everyone in camp who owned you.

Dammon

Dammon is pretty secure in himself. His whole life, he was told how attractive and good-looking he was. Being a blacksmith just made him that much more attractive because of all the manual labor he had to do.

Dammon was indeed possessive of you but trusted you, so he didn't think he needed to show it all the time.

That was until the day those travelers came to town, and all resolve Dammon had was ruined.

It's not that he lost trust in you. No, he lost the ability to trust others as that man began to touch you and play with your hair even after introducing himself as your partner.

Dammon was hot, not just physically but mentally. He was beginning to see red.

Dammon knows how oblivious you can be. Hell, it took him eight weeks to get you to realize he had feelings for you because you were so clueless, but he loved that about you.

Dammon watched from afar as the travelers asked you more questions about the town and kept touching your arm.

Dammon did, in fact, ruin three swords while watching this whole interaction.

After the third sword snapped, he had enough. Dammon walked right over to where you two were talking. He shoved the traveler out of the way, grabbed the back of your head, and smashed his lips against yours.

Man did not stop kissing you until he needed to breathe. When he pulled away, he turned and looked at the traveler, who was mortified by the intense PDA just witnessed.

If someone were to ask Dammon what the bruise on his hand was, he would say he accidentally hit it with his hammer. If someone asked you or anyone else nearby, Dammon broke a man's nose and probably cheekbones.

After Dammon's display of superiority, he wrapped his tail around you gently and guided you back to your home, where he made sure everyone knew you were claimed by him from here on out. (I am talking about hickies; I do not believe Dammon would brand anyone with his equipment.)

Rolan

Rolan comes off as self-absorbed, but that's only because he is so scared of messing up and losing what little he has left.

He is very, very invested in his studies and in continuing to be the best Wizard on the coast so he can protect you and his siblings.

Once he had control over the tower, his obsession with learning grew even more, which never bothered you; seeing him succeed made you so happy.

Rolan would be in the middle of reading a book downstairs when he hears your laugh from the other side of the room.

Curious about what you found funny and wanting to reconnect with you since it had been a while, imagine his surprise when he saw you laughing at a Sorcerer who wandered in.

Hoping his eyes were deceiving him, he hid behind a bookshelf, watching as you checked out books for this man and laughed at his tales from the field.

Nothing seemed inherently wrong with the interaction; as Rolan began to blow it off, he noticed the Sorcerer's eyes rake across your body. Oh. Hell. No

Rolan redirected his attention to you two and noticed all the small queues the Sorcerer was giving, from prolonged hand touching, overzealous compliments, and those damn eyes.

Once all his books were checked out, the conversation should have ended there. You could have even said goodbye and wished him a nice day. Yet that man stood there and kept talking for ages.

Once, Rolan heard the dreaded words, "Wanna hit a tavern with me?" He used Misty Step, the fastest he had ever had, and appeared before you.

At this moment, Rolan was the exact verbiage of 'if looks could kill.'

Putting on one of his business fake smiles, Rolan tried to strike up a conversation with the lesser-than-magic user.

What this man did that made Rolan's blood boil was that he ignored him and talked through him before starting to speak to you again.

Before you could defuse the situation at all, Rolan had already cast a few spells and charms on him. Rolan calmed down from rage to something else as the Sorcerer left his tail between his legs.

When he looked at you, he looked like a man in heat. Scooping you up, he quickly took you to his quarters.

"I must not have been paying you enough attention if others think they can claim what mine is."

Rolan devoured you that night and ensured you were covered in his love and admiration.

From then on, when out on the floor helping customers and guests in the building, Rolan kept a possessive tail wrapped around you until closing hours.

A/N: the parasites keep WINNING.

Fiance!Toji who lowkey acts like you’re already married. He and Megumi live with you, you sleep in the same bed, and he feeds your dog. Not to mention, he never corrects anyone when they refer to you as his wife.

Fiancé!Toji who realizes out of the blue he wants to marry you. He’s known you for about 5 years and has been exclusive with you for 4. Megumi and him have been living with you for almost 3 years. Besides, He hates how “girlfriend” or “stepmom” feels on his tongue. 

Fiance!Toji who thinks about how nice your surname sounds. Zenin has never felt comfortable. He cherishes Fushiguro, however, it doesn’t stop him from imagining what it would be like to be referred to as “Mrs.___ Husband”. 

Fiancé!Toji who’s been calling you his wife for the last 6 months. He has a habit of calling you wifey, but it was more of a nickname. At first, you thought it was him fucking with you, but he seems a little too serious about it. 

Fiance!Toji who proposes to you randomly. You and him were watching Paranorman on the couch as Megumi was asleep in your arms when he looks over at you. He about proposing often and since he has no sense of decorum, now seems like a good time. He casually asks “You wanna get married?” You damn near cry and knock his head off. 

Fiance!Toji gets rings for the both of you and takes off his old one. You tell him that he doesn’t have to get rid of his old wedding ring. You won’t be offended if he wants keep it. Toji doesn’t think much of it. He’s always been the type to leave things behind. What’s so different about it now? 

Fiance!Toji whom you gave a thin gold chain necklace with his old ring attached. You put it on him while telling him, “he doesn’t need to abandon everything. He can still keep her close to him.” He thinks about giving it to Megumi when he’s older. 

Fiance!Toji who’s both ecstatic and disappointed you don’t want a big wedding. Fantasies die hard. One of his few good childhood memories was of a Zenin clan wedding. The bride and groom dressed up while music played and everyone gathered around. For a second, it felt like they were an actual family. Although, Toji realizes that neither of you has the luxury of finances or close family to participate. 

Fiance!Toji and you plan to have a small family dinner as your wedding. You’ll go in a white dress while he and Megumi wear three-piece suits. You’ll all eat and then go home as a family. It’s small but sweet.

Fiance!Toji feels nervous about the wedding dinner. He confides in you that he feels like he’s cursed. He has no cursed energy, his first wife died, and he can barely raise his son even now. You comfort him saying “We’ll get through it. That’s what couples are supposed to do.” He doesn’t completely believe you, but it puts him at ease nonetheless. 

Fiance!Toji is pissed when he picks up Megumi from school and learns that the news of your marriage has spread. Megumi barely talks, how the fuck do all his teachers know?

Fiance!Toji finds out that Megumi’s best friend, Yuuji Itadori, snitched. Now he has to deal with not only all of Megumi’s teachers wanting invites to the dinner, but the loud-mouthed kid wanting one as well. 

Fiance!Toji who tells you this and you burst out laughing. The idea of Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru hounding him for an invite to the wedding is comical. He doesn’t get it. In the end, he can’t say no to you when you say, “Let's invite em, it’d be nice to have people celebrate us.” 

Husband!Toji who when the day comes feels conflicted. He thought he would feel more excited and annoyed. However, he feels comfortable, almost happy. He watches as Megumi and Yuuji sit at the table coloring in the kid's menus. Gojo and Suguru are annoying but Nanami, their plus one, keeps them in check. Yuuji’s uncle, father, and his wife have decent conversation with you. The whole thing feels almost homely.

Husband!Toji who leaves with you when the restaurant closes. Y’all were only supposed to stay for an hour but everyone wanted pictures of the happy couple and the unofficial bridesmaids.

Husband!Toji who stays downstairs as you put Megumi to bed since you said you had a surprise for him. You come back down and give him a bouquet of red and white roses. 

Husband!Toji doesn’t expect anything else, but you take him to the backyard of your shared house. You’re both still dressed in your wedding clothes. You say your vows as you grab his hand. You look up at the night sky and thank Megumi’s mother. You hope that you’ll be half the mother and wife she was. You promise to her that no matter what you’ll cherish and keep Toji safe. 

Husband!Toji who for once in his damn life is silent. He has no words, so he does the next best thing and kisses his bride.

LOOL YES!! That's what you get Alastor!! Cursed cat!Alastor adores Vox and would never hurt him. Honestly it'd be hilarious if Vox does an interview that night and the entire hotel (plus Lucifer) catches it and Cursed cat!Alastor is on Vox's shoulders just purring away and happily nuzzling Vox's screen and being happily petted and Alastor is gripping his fixed staff, grinding his fangs, jealousy leaking from him.

Charlie is pleased: "Alastor, I knew you could find that cat a good home! Thank you! =D"

Everyone else is fucking shocked. They know Alastor threw that cat at the Vees for entertainment and hell raising purposes (and in Husk's case, a way to try and get Vox to come back to him. Most of Alastor's schemes involving the Vees always, always revolve about getting Vox back.)

The interview is about a new product of Voxtech, but at the end of it, they ask about Vox's new pet and Vox just puffs up, proud as can be:

Vox: "This little demon just charged into the lobby, brutally attacking my staff! 2 or 3 died, I think 4 or 5 were maimed so I of course had to keep him! Isn't that right, Venom? (Cause Vox thought he had rabies....and he foams at the mouth when he attacks...so...and the V theme.) Isn't he precious?"

*sir is fine, for future reference. but YEAH, alastor would definitely be seething with rage- like whole fucking cartoon ass face too, he's NOT having the time of his life rn. why the FUCK was vox petting that hellspawn???? that should've been HIM ???????????

also venom is a perfect name for that little shit, honestly, though ill be fr i can only think of the. You know. Venom.

anyway whatever here's another writing snip. (vv short because i have morning classes tmw and im going to freak if im late again) you guys are greedy asf but whatever ill provide like any good father would

"Oh, dear... and he *kept* it, is that right?" Rosie gasps as she watches Alastor grip his hair tightly, head cradled in his hands. She giggles as she continues teasing the poor demon, "My, Alastor, isn't he quite the catch? Compassionate and caring to boot, not to mention that he seems to be *quite* popular among the denizens of Hell!"

"Rosie, my dear, please. Stop talking. For the love of God, stop talking," Alastor's ears flatten more as he begs his friend, Rosie merely laughing softly in delight as she watches.

"You can hardly blame me for being curious, Alastor! I mean, you always refused to take your sweet little picture box to Cannibal Town when the two of you were still talking... why, I had to learn of your dalliance through Mimzy! And, not to devalue my beloved's qualities, of course, but she's *hardly* the greatest source of information one can find-- I married her out of love, not for her communication skills."

"That *thing* probably has rabies," Alastor spits out, looking as if he'd just swallowed a particularly bitter pill. "I don't *understand* what he sees in it!"

"Well, it does look quite like you," Rosie points out leisurely. She takes a sip out of her teacup before continuing, "Perhaps he's treating it as a substitute for you? You know, in the way that some would treat their plushs like pets, he's treating his pet as... well, you."

Alastor narrows his eyes at her. "Vox *knows* that if he wanted to talk to me, he could easily just go over and tune into our shared frequencies. He's *replacing* me with it, Rosie, I just know it!"

"Hm... well, in that case, why don't you just go and make it clear to him that you aren't replacable?" Rosie taps the edge of her cup with a knowing glint in her abyssal black eyes, holding her good friend's gaze steadily. "You've never shyed away from confrontation before, have you, Alastor? Why be hesitant now?"

Alastor licked his lips, staring down in his lap before he picked up his own teacup and downed the liquid inside like a shot.

"Thank you for hosting me today, Rosie. I think... I've reached a conclusion."

A knowing smirk crosses the Cannibal Overlord's face. "Of course you have. I expect to be formally introduced to your lovely little muse soon, you understand?"

"Yes, my fair lady," Alastor rolls his eyes with amusement. "But you had better not try and take a bite of him."

"Who, little old me? I'd never, dear!"

"You had better not," Alastor frowns. Though his tone is joking, his expression falls flat.

Elsewhere, in the Entertainment District, Vox sneezes into Venom's fur as he cradles the fluffball of red fur. The freaky kitten turns to look up at him with a questioning look, but he only ruffles Venom's ears apologetically.

"Sorry, Ven. I don't know what came over me just now- oh, look at this! Should we get you this collar, or that one...?"

‘I Survived TNTL #144’ - Angela Giarratana x Fem!Reader

Y/n and Angela were cuddling in their bed, it was close to their normal sleep time so it was just time to unwind. Angela drew circles with her finger on Y/n's blanket-covered thigh absentmindedly, her thoughts drowning out Y/n's steady heartbeat beside her ear.

"Is tomorrow a TNTL shoot?" Angela asked randomly, catching Y/n's attention. Y/n lowered her phone from her face and looked at Angela.

"I think so, why?" Y/n asked back, smiling slightly. Angela didn't answer for a second, chuckling softly as Y/n looked in confusion.

"I have the best idea ever." Angela's eyes sparkled and Y/n rose her eyebrow in intrigue before Angela started explaining her idea.

"Hey guys! Welcome to Try Not To Laugh. I'm here with Ian, Angela, Y/n, Damien, and Keith" Courtney introduced and everyone cheered for a second before Courtney continued to speak.

"You all know how this stuff goes but if you don't, one of us will be on the stool with water in their mouth and the others will have to make them spit it out in under 30 seconds. Now if you like what you see, go and hit that bell and that like button and...let's get to it" Courtney finished their speech and everyone clapped briefly.

"Since Angela is sitting on the stool, she'll be first" Courtney said and Angela nodded with a giant grin on her face.

Angela, Y/n, and Keith had sat on the hot seat and the video had been a success so far but now with Courtney on the hot seat, Angela gave the signal to Y/n that they would be doing the plan they had discussed the night prior.

It was Angela’s time to step out and she grabbed Y/n’s arm gently, smiling up at her before they went out to do the bit.

They walked out hand-in-hand and, with giant grins, they started to talk.

“Hey everyone! We’ve been waiting to say this but we have now decided to announce it” Y/n introduced and Courtney tilted their head, confused as to what they were going to say.

“We’re together!-”

“In a relationship!-“ they both said in unison but once they fumbled the sentence, they both looked at each other. They muttered an ‘oh’ before trying again.

“We’re in a relationship!-“

“We’re together!-“ they switched what they said, hitting the perfect comedic timing. They looked at each other again, shocked, causing Courtney to spit the water out.

“We’re in a relationship! God, Y/n” Angela kept her smile giant and her tone bubbly before dropping it to pretend to mutter the last part to her girlfriend, loud enough for the mic’s to pick up.

“Sorry Ange” Y/n pretended to be taken aback and looked at the camera awkwardly before breaking character and looking at Courtney.

“That was awesome” Courtney giggled and they got ready for the next person to go up.

Y/n had forgotten about the bit they did that shoot but she was reminded when it was uploaded a month after filming.

She got the notification from YouTube and saw the TNTL title and thumbnail. She stopped stirring her eggs for a second before calling out to Angela.

“Ange! The TNTL is up!” Y/n said and she heard slightly quick footsteps coming out of their bedroom.

“Really?” Angela’s smile was huge as Y/n chuckled and handed the phone to her. Angela quickly scrolled through the comments and saw remarks about their bit come flooding in.

‘17:38 is this real?!’

‘HOLY SHIT ANGELA AND Y/N?!’

‘Guys, it’s a bit. It’s literally a TNTL’

‘I’m kinda hoping it’s not a bit…is that wrong?’

Angela read them out loud and the couple laughed at some of them. They had a plan to post stuff on Instagram as soon as the TNTL was uploaded but…maybe they could have fun for a day.

The only people that knew about their relationship was their families. They had met each others families too so it was just a close knit group, not even any of their co-workers or friends knew.

They decided to keep the lack of relationship charade up until the next day so they staggered their entrances to get into the building.

Damien ran into Y/n and gasped slightly.

“Your bit on TNTL was killer. Ever since it was posted at 11, I haven’t seen anything else talked about on our socials. Such a good joke” Damien chuckled thinking about it. Y/n laughed back.

“Well don’t thank me, thank Angela. She’s the mastermind” Y/n replied and continued walking to her desk, setting her bag down.

The rest of the day, they were bombarded with employees talking about how their ‘bit’ was insane and was turning the fandom into a crazed mess. All Y/n and Angela could do was chuckle along with them, knowing that the next day, everything will be public and out there.

They woke up to more notifications on each of their phones from different people, close friends, distant friends they barely thought of, co-workers applauding them.

Y/n groaned before putting her phone face down on her chest. They were still snug in their bed.

“I’m starting to regret doing that bit” Y/n chuckled and wiped her face gently to wake her up more. Angela scoffed playfully.

“Well it’s too late now. I think we should post those drafts now. What do you think?” Angela asked and Y/n looked back at her, waiting a second before nodding.

Totally agree with your anon. I will die on the hill that the draft was a soft launch including Azzi's IG post after. Everything about it screamed (to me) Paige was the invite and Azzi was the +1. I could write so much on it, but my observations were:

Paige's outfit was SO much more of the person to be looked at vs Azzis. Not saying she wasn't beautiful as always but they were different.

The press attention was primarily on Paige first, and then she'd bring Azzi in.

I'm convinced Azzi's outfit was coordinated with the white top, shoes, nails, etc to match.

Them wearing the matching necklaces, but Paige having hers under her shirt. This screams meaning to me. They have a stylist, so if it didn't work no need to wear it, but she did where no one could see it but they knew.

Paige wearing a ring on her wedding ring finger. This is like during the Paige injured szn she'd sometimes wear a ring of Azzi's on the same finger when Azzi was playing.

The video is so domestic and Paige paying attention to details to make sure Azzi looked good, plus no problem just picking something right off her boob lol.

Their body language in all the photos how they get so close there's no space between them shoulder to hip and angle toward each other with the matching head tilts.

No love for poor Carol and Aubrey who were god knows where, while these two got attention no other current college players did.

They looked genuinely happy and settled in all the photos, lots of eye contact and touching and big smiles.

The car photo is my new roman empire.

I love how you noticed that Johnny does stop to check in. He has a very firm grip on her mental and emotional state, (it’s not his first rodeo) and he knows just how to bring her back.

The two of them + Bunny is really a dream come true even if she doesn’t realize it yet (they do) and it will take a lot of time and work on everyone’s part.

I think your notes in your last paragraph are pretty spot on, too. Bunny will talk about it more in the next two chapters but- getting a new identity is not a two day turnaround.

Also yeah, I was channeling Arizona with that line 💀 I was hoping someone would catch it!

I know I already posted about this but it was on a reblog that I think got buried under the original and I need someone else to lose their mind with me.

So the wonderful human that commented on this post about Hell's understaffing problem made me rethink something that I think a lot of us are sleeping on: Hell is RATIONING something.

At the beginning of S2 in between other remarks, Shax mentions that Beelzebub has put some lower ranking demons "on half rations." But we know celestials and infernals generally don't eat, so surely it's not food, right?

So what could they be rationing?

And then I remembered how both Heaven and Hell keep close tabs on the miracles done by Crowley and Aziraphale on Earth--even the little things.

And how, in S1, Hastur is stuck in Hell waiting for "maintenance" to come fix a leak in the ceiling. It's played off as a joke and it's something that would be so mundane for a human in an office or apartment building, so we don't give it much thought... But they can do miracles. They could literally fix that with a snap. We've seen Crowley fix the Bentley, so surely a little leak is nothing.

And Aziraphale gets reprimanded for doing "too many frivolous miracles," which we initially ignore because it's exactly the kind of bureaucratic/corporate BS we'd expect from Heaven and Hell.

But what if it's not just BS?

What if the power sources used by angels and demons are not infinite? Worse, what if they're not replenishable?

What if Hell is rationing miracles, because there's not enough power to go around?

And if so, where's the power coming from?

My issue with Thor not ‘realizing’ why Loki was acting off in Avengers 1 isn’t that Thor didn’t recognise Loki was acting unlike himself—Thor did note that—or that Thor didn’t figure out what was wrong—he did try asking—it’s more along the lines of Thor giving up, and that he accepted Loki was bad now within two days while knowing something was off when Thor himself behaved just as bad for much longer before without any specific compromising event.
