You know one of the funniest things about Palpatine saying “I am all the Sith” is somewhere in the darkness thousands of Sith are saying “the fuck your are” and very much not helping him, just saying lol.
It’s even funnier if you’re well versed in The Old Republic- pre Darth Bane Sith culture lol

Old Barriss Fanfiction
Continuing from the last segment I posted....
Barriss was mortally wounded on Felucia, and taken back to a captured Republic Cruiser by Conradin Hadranus and his droid friends (like Separatist droid VGR-001)
Just as Conradin must lament the dying of the woman he loved, he is found by the nefarious Darth Plagueis and his Sith Acolytes, who intends to crush his spirit once and for all and enslave him
But then, a miracle happens....
(pretty much a lot of the old stories had that grand Deus Ex Machina slide in just when it was needed most)
JRR Tolkien, I believe, referred to it as the “U-Catastrophe” which was the opposite of Catastrophes that rendered heroes completely defeated.  The U-Catastrophe was when everything good and right fell into place to help the heroes win.  I have often loved applying this to a lot of writing, and it was big with this moment of final confrontation. Not only were these old stories a build up to Barriss’ hero journey (here, she is in her darkest place, facing death.  But then a miracle happens, and she returns like a phoenix to make things right), but these strories also were my chance to Chronicle the rise and fall and redemption of Count Dooku (I have always been a huge Christopher Lee fan!)
Here, we discover that Plagueis has enslaved Dooku’s Force Ghost, and gloats of his plans to destroy Dooku’s former student Conrad. But Barriss returns to not only save Conrad, but to even rescue Dooku from eternal damnation..... One of the big coincidences with canon Star Wars was when I watched Rey in RoS fight Palpatine, and that moment when Palpatine announces “I am ALL THE SITH!”, and Rey announces “I AM ALL THE JEDI!”
Cuz I kind of did that here also (from a certain POV) Funny how you write something years ago and think how exciting and unique it is, and then Star Wars sort of goes and does it also.  I like my version better, though, when Barriss’ love for Conrad and Dooku becomes so bright she.....well, if you are interested I’ll let you find out for yourself.....
I do apologize for all the drama cheese.  I was so ambitious with this at the time :)
CUT TO- THE GUNSHIP, LEAVING FALUCIA
(POV watches the gunship fly towards Hadranus' ship. It was supposed to be a mission to stop the Separatists, but instead became a plot to end the Jedi)
VGR: General, we have taken the ship.
Hadranus: Good, tell them to prepare the medlab, we have wounded.
(The medical droid, and Trade Federation bot with a dark blue stripe on his head, turns to Hadranus. Though it can never use expression in its conversation, its voice carries enough personality to explain the situation without sounding like a cold robot)
Medic: Sir, I have served in this war since Geonosis, and I have seen many cases, so you must understand......you MUST understand when I tell you now there is no human or droid doctor that can stop her deterioration. This is a mortal wound. I'm very sorry. At best, she has an hour.
(He stares at her, almost unable to respond)
Hadranus: Do all that you can.....
(The gunship flies up to the RSS Moenia. They land quickly to get Barriss to the medlab. Hadranus is still in shock. VGR follows. VGR does not quite comprehend loss in the same way, but he follows closely because he knows that this unit named Barriss is important to Him)
VGR: I remember when I first saw you two together.
(Hadranus snaps out of his haze. He stares at the medical droids placing Offee on the examination table, hooking her up to a breathing apparatus and life support)
Hadranus: Huh?
VGR: You were carrying her because she was wounded. Now, you do it again. This Jedi unit must mean a lot to you.
Hadranus: You're right, Veeg. She has always been a good friend. She was more. She was everything I dreamed life could be.
(He wipes his eyes)
VGR: Your face is wet.
Hadranus: We both tried, in our own way, to make things work in the galaxy......She wanted to become a great Jedi Knight, and she has. I dreamed of being a Hero like Anakin....be like the Chosen One....*chuckle* for a while, I thought maybe I was.......beloved savior of worlds, destroyer of Sith. I thought I could be just like him. Turns out, I'm.....I'm nothing like him at all.....
(He watches as Barriss breaths while hooked up to life support. He sits outside the sterile operating room, staring at the weak life signs on the analyzer. The med droid injects her with various substances, trying to patch up the wound. Minutes feel like hours, but the droid exits the operating room to face him and VGR)
Medic: It is finished. All that can be done has been done. She will feel no pain. She will simply stop soon.
(Hadranus quietly walks in and sits next to her. An oxygen mask covers her face. Her breathing sounds slow and almost cold, almost mechanically forced. His eyes are red and teary, but he hasn't the energy to keep crying. He leans up to her ear)
Hadranus: Well.......here we are, Barriss, at the end of all things......I wish I had more time.....to tell you so much. But then, I think deep down you knew. I could see it on your face when we were on Geonosis, and on Geidi Prime. And we shared much when we...were alone together. Barriss, everything we ever hoped for.......it's all dead. The Jedi have been betrayed. We all were. Palpatine was the Sith lord. I'm scared. I'm not a hero. I thought I could be, but I was wrong. I wish I could wake you up....so you could tell me what to do next. I don't know what to do, where to go. I have no home. I don't fit anywhere. The Sepratists cause is dead, I am a traitor on Achilleas and a traitor on Coruscant........My vision is clouded. I sense darkness. Barriss.....
(He whispers in her ear weakly)
Hadranus: I can't live without you......my life has no purpose......come back.....
(The medical lights dim for a moment. Explosions rock the ship. Everything becomes dead quiet. At first, he thinks the Republic forces are bombing the ship)
Hadranus: VGR?
VGR-001: A shuttle has landed in the bay. No clone troopers reported, just a single occupant.
(The intercom screeches to life. Hadranus feels the cold of the darkside, a cold evil he has not sensed in a long time. Fear flashes in his eyes)
VGR: Strange....There are now two hundred and forty organic life forms detected in the hangar bay.
Hadranus: No....it can't be
(A familiar deep voice breaks on the loudspeakers)
Plagueis: (VO) My son......my beautiful, wayward son. I sense much heaviness in you. Fear, anger and power. Your despair has led me here. I have let you play in the world of mortals for long enough. You are *MY* creation, and it is time for you to accept your place.
Hadranus: He comes here NOW, after all this time.....Gorrammit!
Plagueis: (VO) Come quietly, Conradin. By now, you know that your hopes have been destroyed by Sidious. Destiny has crushed your notions of justice and balance, but I am here to pick up the pieces. You were always destined to be a Sith. Come to me now, for I can save her.....
Hadranus: What?
Plagueis: (VO) I AM Darth Plagueis the wise, Ruler of the Sith with the power of life and death. I can save Barriss Offee.
Hadranus: *gasp*
(CU of Plagueis in the shadows)
Plagueis: (VO) I have tolerated your disobedience and your mockery, but I am a merciful being. I can help you...because I am kind. I can restore her life and make her yours for all eternity if you come to me NOW and prepare yourself to become what I made you to become......
(CU of Hadranus. He looks at Barriss' face. The breathing in her oxygen mask was almost gone, yet he envied the peace on her face. He switches his intercom on)
Hadranus: *sigh*.....I am coming......my Lord........
Plagueis: (VO) Goooood. Good......
(He turns off the intercom and closes his eyes. He's too tired, too tired to be terrified, too tired to fight the future. He takes a deep breath and resolves to handle the last day of his life on his own terms. He turns to Barriss one last time and kisses her forehead)
Hadranus: (whispers) My fate is sealed. Goodbye, Barriss. Be at peace.....Thank you for teaching me to die like a Jedi......
(He suddenly notices a tear falling from her closed eye, making its way down her face, but otherwise there is no sign of life or movement. Even if she heard him, it was a small consolation. He smiles a moment, then gets up to leave. He faces VGR one last time and puts his hand on the droid's shoulder)
VGR: We could try an attack-
Hadranus: -No. No more battles, VGR. This is something I must face alone. Whatever happens from here on out is beyond anyone's control. Take your men, gather as many droid troops as possible and fly this ship to the farthest part of the galaxy. Someplace safe. There's nothing for you here.
VGR: My purpose is to serve you. Without purpose, my existence means nothing.
Hadranus: You are resourceful, intelligent.....and a good friend.....
(VGR tilts his head in suprise)
Hadranus: My last order to you is this.......FIND A NEW PURPOSE. I don't care if it's being a bodyguard, building a house, or babysitting Nerf herds. Find it, and you will live on in ways your programmers never anticipated.
(VGR is silent for several long seconds)
VGR: Yes, sir.
Hadranus: One last favor, my friend.......shut down the life support. Make sure Barriss dies in peace. If it is within your comprehension, give her a proper funeral.
VGR: Yes, sir.
(He looks at her and VGR, then leaves. VGR watches him leave and pauses. CU of VGR as he goes over to the Medical controls. POV pans down to his robot fingers as they hover over a particular red button........SUDDENLY, a ghostly hand reaches out to VGR. A soothing voice is heard. CU of ghostly hand gently pulling away VGR's fingers from the controls)
Luminara: No.......there is another way.........
(Int.- the hangar bay. Conradin slowly enters. It is quite dark. His steps echo down metal stairs towards the recently landed shuttle. Darth Plagueis steps into view, his Pinheaded features clearly visible above the black leather outfit. Conradin, ever cautious, can sense that there are a multitude of cenobites in the shadows around him. The quiet chattering of teeth, hissings and groans haunt the echoing hangar bay)
Plagueis: At last, you see truth. I am glad you have come sensibly.
Hadranus: Are your friends afraid of me? Why don't you introduce them? Get to know everyone before the party begins.
Plagueis: Still trying to play the smart one.......amusing. Yet, I sense your fear. There is nothing to fear. There is only the training. Are you ready to feel pain?
Hadranus: I am ready to make some pain happen!
(Plagueis fails to note his sarcasm)
Plagueis: I am also ready to revive your Barriss.
Hadranus: Don't bother. She has become one with the Force, where you can never touch her.
(Plagueis raises an eyebrow in suprise)
Plagueis: Pity. You would both have made excellent pupils. No matter. We have you. It will suffice.
Hadranus: I am ready to give you all a lesson today.
(Conradin lights up and charges. The Acolytes jump back, but Plagueis remains calm as he pulls his sabre out. The bright red clashed with bright white of Conradin's blade several times)
Hadranus: You cannot win!!! I can cut you down and the only way you and your friends will leave this ship is OVER MY DEAD BODY!!!!
(Plagueis smiles for a moment, then sneers and releases a shocking blast of lightning over Conradin's body for several seconds. Conradin writhes on the floor, screaming, flailing shaking. After a whole minute, Plagueis stops and grins at his fellows. They make strange noises that can only be interpreted as amusement. smoke rises off of Conradin's clothes, burn marks all over his skin. He quietly whimpers as Plagueis stops grinning and stares fiercely at him)
Plagueis: THAT IS SPIRIT!!! That is the spirit I crave from the chosen one, and that is why YOU WILL SERVE ME!
(He takes two steps towards the crumpled whimpering form)
Plagueis: Yes, you are the chosen, but you STILL DO NOT UNDERSTAND. One day, you will be more powerful than any being in the universe, more powerful than Sidious, Anakin or even YODA. I know your plan. You would have me strike you down, die a martyr's death. No. I *love* you too much to do that, my rebellious.....wayward.....SON.
(He launches another blast of lightning at Conradin, who screams and spasms in unbelievable agony for several seconds. Plagueis stops. Conradin struggles to sit up to face him. He is quiet, the pain making him angry but he fights the anger weakly with thoughts of peace, thoughts of Barriss, of Qui-gon, little Poggle III, even Anakin and of all his friends who stood for something greater than this mortal life.)
Plagueis: Your training is nearly complete, so no.......you will not die. But I will teach you obedience. You will learn that the galaxy has no place for chaotic human mischief, the galaxy has no place for your modest ideals of equality and fairness. They have rejected you for Anakin, the Republic's favorite one. You will have your revenge, you will destroy Palpatine and inflict pain on all of his
supporters, but in order to inflict pain, you must understand it. You SHALL UNDERSTAND PAIN.......YOUR SUFFERING SHALL BE LEGENDARY........EVEN IN HELL............
Crowd: AMEN!!!!
(CU of Conradin's face. Trying futiley to sit up and prepare himself mentally as a Jedi would, he closes his eyes in the ultimate despair and prays as he hears a massive number of chains and hooks from the dark, ready to tear his humanity apart but keep him alive for a long time. The chains launched to him. He flinches, but the chains are stopped by the heat of a light sabre blade and a woman's mighty voice)
Barriss: NO! His life is not yours to give, or take!!
"Eternal Flame" by Audiomachine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-EiiM3WvBdk
(He opens his eyes and gasps in suprise. It was Barriss, standing over him like an angel in black. With renewed energy, he springs up to stand by Barriss' side. She not only looks fully alive and healed, she seems to burn with the life energy of two healthy people. She is focused on Plagueis, posing in a defensive stance with her blade out at the cenobites. Chains and hooks lie on the floor, within feet of
Conradin. Everything has happened too fast for him to say anything.)
Plagueis: What sorcery is this? How did you appear from nowhere?
Hadranus: Barriss!........I don't b-......how?
Plagueis: Not so dead as we were meant to believe. But you only delay the inevitable for two souls now!
(Barriss does not move, but stares at Plagueis)
Barriss: You cannot have him, Sith Lord. He has chosen the light. He is a Jedi and you have failed.
Plagueis: Silence! SILENCE!! I am not going to cower in fear at a broken boy and an arrogant little girl! I will break you! Yes! Like I broke Conradin, like I broke Count Dooku!
(Plagueis points to Dooku's sullen red ghostly figure standing oblivious in the crowd. Conradin becomes shocked at his true mentor's fate, a shadow of his former greatness, a slave, even in death, to the torments of the dark side)
Hadranus: Master......
(Dooku looks at him with a defeated expression. Even in ghost form, Dooku had no hands, a wound from Anakin that lingers)
Dooku: There is no fighting our destiny. Barriss......you should have died this day.....you have no idea what they will do to you......Conradin......Conradin, forgive me......I have led the entire galaxy to ruin.......
Plagueis: His soul became mine when he succumbed to his dark desires, his desire to see Anakin dead and YOU, *Conradin*, as the ultimate power!!
Dooku: (angered) It was my desire that he would become powerful enough to bring balance to the Force, to DESTROY the Sith, NOT JOIN THEM!!
Plagueis: Silence!
(The Sith Lord squeezes his hand. Dooku's form yells in despair and falls to his knees)
Plagueis: The time for talk is over! Scream, if you must, Barriss and Conradin, but there is no one coming to help. You are alone.....
(Conradin feels a surge of renewed strength, angered that he has been helpless, angered that the Sith have manipulated and destroyed so many lives. He feels a powerful heat blaze in his heart, but it is not the heat of the darkside. It is the righteousness of light in him, the light that has guided him for years. He summons up his sabre and prepares a defensive stance, focused on Plagueis. The Acolytes close in on them. Two hundred and forty....to two)
Hadranus: We are hopelessly outnumbered.
Barriss: We will face our destiny like Jedi, Conradin.........we will face it together......
(He looks out at the twisted forms slobbering towards them, but for the first time, he is at peace)
Barriss: I love you, Conradin.......
(She broke off her gaze at Plagueis and looked at him with eyes that made him feel immortal, invincible)
Hadranus: I know......
(They steel themselves for the attack, but a brightness behind them causes Plagueis to hesitate and the Acolytes to retreat a couple of steps)
(CU on Conradin. A hand gently clasps his shoulder, and an old familiar voice comforts them both. It is the ghost of Qui-gon Jinn)
Qui-gon: The Sith was wrong. You are not alone. For you have reached out with your hearts......
Plagueis: WHAT MADNESS IS THIS!!!???
(Luminara's ghost reaches with one hand and clasps Barriss' shoulder to comfort her. The power of the light in their hearts has called out to the Force in their darkest hour........and those who would be
dead have heard the call......)
Luminara: We are here.
(Barriss and Conradin tremble in the Force a little as other ghosts lined up to be with them. Mace Windu, Kitt Fisto, Aayla Secura, Quinlan Vos, Ki-Adi-Mundi, Plo Koon, Agen Kolar, Sifo-Dyas, etc.  The ghosts of the fallen from Geonosis, from the war, and from order 66 form united ranks behind them, with sabres ready. Their brightness lights up the hangar bay. Plagueis scrunches his face in fury)
Plagueis: How dare you!!?? HOW DARE YOU!! This is a feeble illusion! A conjurer's trick!! Just who are you, anyway?? You are nobody!! NOBODY!! You lost!! You are dead, shadows of a dead order!!! 10,000 years of "Jedi wisdom" could not save you from ONE NIGHT OF DESTRUCTION!!!! YOUR TIME IS OVER!!! FOREVER!!! YOU ARE NOTHING!!! IT IS MY DESTINY TO RULE AND I WILL NOT SUFFER THE PRESENCE OF A
BUNCH OF OLD GHOSTS!!!!
(CU of Qui-gon's face)
Qui-gon: I am Qui-gon Jinn of the Jedi Order.........and you *will* suffer me!
(Plagueis snaps and roars as he launches himself at the ghost. The Acolytes charge with their ugly, deformed sith blades and rifles, The Jedi charge. Qui-gon and Plagueis clash their sabres with epic thunder and lightning amidst the duels erupting around them. Barriss and Conradin look at each other and charge. It is quick, yet almost fluidly slow poetry to watch the ultimate battle. The Sith cause a few ghosts to vanish back to the Force, their powerful weapons able to slash the ghosts, but the skill of even dead Jedi make them formidable. Qui-gon clashes with Plagueis. They are almost evenly matched.
Conradin and Barriss slice their way through a mass of black leathered thuggery, leaving bodies in their wake. Plagueis and Qui-gon continue, but the dark lord realizes he cannot defeat Jinn's determined spirit. Plagueis leaps out of the battle and runs for the shuttle)
Qui-gon: Conradin, your destiny is to fight him! We will hold off his minions! GO!
Hadranus: I understand.....
(Barriss and Luminara take a moment to look at each other)
Luminara: Go, help him.....
(Barriss joins Conradin away from the main battle. The Acolytes, the last of the Sith from a cast out dead world, were losing, but Plagueis stops to face them.)
Plagueis: (sneers) I will rid myself of you.......I made you and I can destroy you......
Hadranus: I make my own destiny.
(Barriss and Conradin leap at the Sith lord together. In their ultimate epiphany, they have truly become one in their fight with Plagueis, perfectly synchronized in their fighting styles. Plagueis strikes at each of them time after time, striking and blocking their blades. He gets the upper hand however, by blasting lightning at them and using the Force to throw them about. Hadranus is tossed against a wall. Barriss struggles to keep up with parrying Plagueis quick reflexes until Conradin leaps back into the fight)
(POV wide shot of the three fighting across the hangar)
(CU of the three. Plagueis yells in pain as Barriss slams her sabre into his shoulder. He doubles his efforts, Force choking her while deflecting Conradin's attacks. Conradin breaks the Sith's concentration as the fight backs into a clone fighter. With the whipping around of three blades, the clone fighter explodes as it is cut to pieces. The three jump around the explosion. Plagueis twirls up thirty feet into the air to gain distance from the Jedi. Barriss and Conradin Force-leap at him again)
(CU of Plagueis as he sticks his hand out, Force-pushing Barriss away onto the floor and then launching lightning from his blade at Conradin, who tries to absorb the attack with his sabre. Smoke rises off his cloths until Barriss rejoins the fight.)
(POV follows from a short distance as they fight towards the center of the Hangar. Plagueis finally gets the upper hand, Force throwing Conradin against a wall, then blasting lightning at Barriss. She screams in pain as the red fiery blast burns into her until Plagueis stops. He raises his blade to sever her head, ready to finish the fight before Conradin can recover)
Dooku: STOP!
(Plagueis strikes, but Dooku's ghost gets between him and Barriss. Red lightning shoots everywhere as Dooku's ghost is wracked with pain trying to hold back the full brunt of Sith power)
Plagueis: Foolish old man! Your soul is mine! And so is hers as well!
Conradin: Plagueis!!
(Darth Plagueis turns to see Hadranus. Conradin Hadranus, born of the Dark Sith powers, has realized his potential. His lightsabre now burns brightly. He does not hesitate. Conradin leaps at Plagueis with such power that the Sith lord is pushed back away from Dooku and Barriss. Every time their blades cross, white fire burns at Plagueis' skin. They leap up, pirouette, dancing lightly almost levitating in the air)
(CU of the duel as they land on a clone gunship. They run, clash blades until they reach the forcefield at the edge of the hangar bay. Conradin impales Plagueis to the forcefield, right on the edge of space. Plagueis echoes a yell of pain and rage throughout the hangar. CU of Plagueis' enraged face. Cut to-Far POV shot of his enraged scream. The ghosts, having destroyed all of the acolyte minions, watch in awe. Conradin's blade sticks through the Sith lord and the forcefield. They stare at each other, eye to eye. Conradin is victorious, but does not gloat. He almost pities the Sith Lord)
Hadranus: (whispering) I am sorry.....
Plagueis: (shocked) *Sorry*?..........SORRY???? That is why you FAIL!!!
(One last burst of red lightning emits from Plagueis to humble the boy, but Conradin absorbs the blast and redirects it at the Sith lord without blinking. Plagueis, unable to stop the flow of power, shrieks an inhuman sound. Conradin rips his sabre up through Plagueis with SUCH FORCE that the Sith Lord AND the forcefield are obliterated in a spectacular fashion. Conradin grips the blade in a final pose, facing the others. In that split second, Plagueis' body has exploded and the force of the vacuum sucks it into oblivion)
(CU of Hadranus as he closes his eyes and lets go. He is right up at the edge of space, so he simply follows the vacuum with a final peace in his heart.......and yet, despite the vacuum, he does not move. After a few seconds that should have been fatal, the blast doors close off the hangar bay, sealing them from danger. He feels the cool metal door on his back and opens his eyes to see....)
(CU of both Barriss and Dooku. They have stuck out their right arms towards him, in a desperate move to use the Force to keep him from being sucked out into space. There is no hand at the end of Dooku's arm for a few seconds. He looks on, amazed. His burst of Force power to save Conradin has created a reaction. The love in his heart has won out over the anger and jealousy. His hands return to him like they were never severed His red ghostly figure turns bluish-white and vanishes as he finds redemption. Conradin sees this just before he collapses. Fade to black)
(CU of Conradin's face he opens his eyes, looking around. Only a few moments have passed. Barriss cradles his head in her lap)
Hadranus: What a rush.
Barriss: Are you ok?
Hadranus: You saved me....and Master Dooku....
Barriss: He found his way. Just as you always believed he could.
Hadranus: I wish I could have done more.
(Dooku's voice is heard from the Force, one last time to reassure Conradin)
Dooku: (VO) You did enough. Prophecies are a fuzzy thing, always being up for interpretation. But you made it happen.
Hadranus: I defeated Plagueis....but not Sidious. Have I really brought balance?
Dooku: More than you could realize. Don't you see? You and Barriss. You were the perfect combination. Barriss was born of the perfect love of Qui-gon and Luminara. You were born of perfect hate molded by Plagueis and the Darkside. You two were the balance for a short time. A balance that is destined to come to an end......
Hadranus: What do you mean?
Dooku: I must go now, and join the others who have become one with the Force. My time is at an end.
Hadranus: Master....I never got to say....
Dooku: My dear boy....There is no need for goodbyes, and no room for regrets. There is only what we have in the present, and the hope we have shaped for the future.....come what may. Farewell, Conradin.
(Dooku vanishes forever. A man of great deeds and terrible crimes. But no court in the galaxy can pass judgement now. There is only what has come to pass. Barriss holds him tightly as he cries a little. He hugs her back, sensing all is not well)
Hadranus: You came back.
Barriss: I have been granted time by the will of the Force. But not much. My mother...
(She, too, chokes a little, but straightens up)
Hadranus: What do you mean "not much"?
Barriss: I died, but I have been given an extension. I cannot explain it. I just know that time is running out.
Hadranus: What happens now?
(VGR rushes up to them in the empty hangar)
VGR: Republic Cruisers have picked up our trail! We need to make a hasty exit!
(Conradin looks at Barriss. They slowly get up, holding hands and follow VGR back to the bridge)
Hadranus: Set a course for Rhen Var....
VGR: It's a bit remote of a system, my friend. However, we might not shake them taking such a route. It might not be the best place to go.
Hadranus: On the contrary, Veeg. It's the perfect place to conclude the long journey.
(They walk back to the bridge)

love the star wars german dub. like you'd figure anakin and obi-wan would address each other with peer pronouns (du) by the time RotS rolls around. but no. they don't even use the formal ones (sie).
anakin addresses obi-wan with the fucking PLURALIS MAJESTATIS. like. "ihr"??? did this space opera backflip into the regency period? imagine that in english. don't make me kill you my liege. your grace, you underestimate my power. what the fuck

"the story that every Crèche Clan has at least one troublemaker is factually incorrect. Bear Clan who has been JUST troublemakers for the last five generations is a statistical outlier and should not have been counted" - Master Xenk Vlk during the annual Crèche Budget Meeting
anyways I have a new funny little guy. he is a part-time Crèchemaster and a full-time shenanigans-instigator.
also, he has the most slutty little waist under those robes, which isn't really relevant for his work but an important fact to me.

I have been thinkin' of an AU
With Mandalorian Batman- I mean even the colors of his canon armour and outfit fit so well for it without even including anything else about him. But anyway, Mandalorian Batman, bit of a bounty hunter, never takes kill-bounties and is much more terrifying for it because it makes Rumours Spread. And his several Foundling children. Who he absolutely adores. Would fight armies for, and loves to death. But you know what I am thinking about? Canonically, who of the family is magic? Even has magic soul-powered swords? Jason Todd, that's who.
So really, it is Not Bruce's fault if he ends up perhaps panic-kidnapping a Jetti for assistance because one of his (small! precious!) kids is having a panic attack and struggling to deal with this space magic shit-
*Mandalorian armour colors have different meanings depending on the paints chosen. The canonical colors we know are: Gray: Mourning a lost loved one, Red: Honoring a parent, Black: Justice, Gold: Vengeance, Green: Duty, Blue: Reliability, & Orange: A lust for life

This one got away from me...3,000 words. Please leave your thoughts and enjoy!

The bonfire was now huge, burning fast and bright, much to Wrecker and Omega’s delight. Sparks flew in to the clear night air, illuminating the figures sitting around it.
Clone Force 99 and you had just finished a tiring mission and were taking the night to decompress on a desolate, forested planet. The bonfire was actually your idea, a memory you had stored deep in your subconscious from when you were a very young Jedi Padawan. After a tough training or difficult mission, your Master would often start a fire while you meditated and reflected. The heat and cackling from the flames helped calm you, oddly enough. It was something that you continued to do, even as a Jedi General during the war. It was something that burned bright in the darkness. Something that you were all now desperate for in this new Imperial galaxy.
You didn’t speak much of your past as a Jedi at first. It was too painful, too fresh. But as you spent more time with Clone Force 99, you became more comfortable sharing small snippets on occasion, much to the excitement of Omega who hung on to every word. Echo would also sometimes add his own stories from his old squad, which would then inspire Wrecker to tell stories (sometimes embellished ones) of their missions, reminiscing on battles won. It was nice to connect again, to have those who understood you, as you were now all outcasts. Chewed up by the war and tossed to the side, now struggling to find your place in the galaxy.
Somewhat recently after Order 66, they rescued you from bounty hunters who had suspicions you were a Jedi. You tried to keep it a secret, but Hunter found you out with his heightened senses. You warily came clean to them, telling them the truth.
You were only supposed to stay with them for a short time, only until you found a new place to hide. Hunter was wary with having a Jedi on board, especially since they already had a target on their back. But a short time turned longer. You were helpful on missions and were careful to never expose yourself as a Jedi. Omega became particularly attached to you, and Hunter saw how much Omega was benefiting from a woman on board. You also became close with them, especially Hunter. You both connected over the baggage of being a leader, and what it meant to fail as one as well. Other feelings began to blossom, that neither you or Hunter knew how to act on, or even if you should. You found yourself talking to him late in to the night, discussing next mission plans or plans from the past. But you both always left those conversations wishing you had said more.
Tech had just carefully landed the ship on the empty, forested planet in the only clearing he could find. It was Hunter's idea to do inventory, seeing when you would need to do a supply run next. You casually mentioned the bonfire memory as you were all rummaging through gear and supplies, as this planet reminded you of that distant memory.
Omega’s eyes widened and asked, “Can we do that tonight? That sounds fun!” while looking excitedly between you and Hunter, who was sitting down and cleaning his knife. He chuckled, a low chuckle that made butterflies swirl in your stomach. Something you’ve realized has been happening more often. But you pushed that thought aside, for now.
“Sure, kid. This planet is empty enough. I don’t think it will attract too much attention.” Tech adjusted his goggles and looked up from his datapad. “I do not see any settlements on this planet. There is no current need for worry.” He said before becoming absorbed once more in his research.
Wrecker, with much glee, shot up from begrudgingly organizing his gear, and announced, “Fire, I like this idea! This is boring anyway. Let’s take a break and go gather some wood!” He turned to look at Hunter for approval, who shrugged and nodded. “Omega, let’s go!” Wrecker hurriedly threw the rest of his unorganized gear on his bunk. Omega grinned, also happy to get away from inventory, and began after Wrecker down the ramp of the Marauder. She stopped at the top of the ramp and looked back. “Thank you!” She beamed at both you and Hunter, and skittered after Wrecker.
Hunter had put his knife away and was now leaning against a wall with his arms crossed, gazing at you. You felt your heart beat quicken when you matched his stare.  “You’ve done it now.” He teased as he watched Wrecker and Omega run toward the tree line. You shrugged with a small smile as you stood up from putting the last piece of equipment back in your gear pack. “Well, I have to admit, I need a break too. Let’s just hope they don’t burn the whole planet down.”
Hunter released a low chuckle again and you felt heat rise up your neck. “With Wrecker involved, I’m not too sure.” Echo quipped from the pilot seat, where he was researching where they could get supplies before the next mission. “Given the current wind speeds and our distance from the trees, it would be difficult to start a blaze that big.” Tech called from under a piece of machinery he was now working on. “But I have to agree with Echo. With Wrecker involved, statistically the odds are higher.”
You gave a small laugh, which made Hunter’s heart involuntarily quicken. It was your laugh that he often thought of deep in the night, when he was having trouble sleeping. The way your shoulders moved when you chuckled, the way your eyes glinted when you smiled. How sometimes he’d find himself almost getting out of his bunk to wake you up and take you in his arms, telling you how he feels as his lips meet yours….
A sudden crash snapped him out of his thoughts, setting his senses haywire. You heard the sound too, and you looked at each other and ran down the ramp to see what the commotion was, hands on your blasters. Hunter breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Wrecker standing with Omega at the tree line, who were both excitedly picking up branches from a dead tree Wrecker had just knocked over. Hunter ran a hand through his hair. He couldn’t help but always be on high alert, especially with Omega. He could see relief in your eyes as well, once you realized it was nothing to be concerned about. You lightly touched his arm, asking “You okay?” “Yeah…” he breathed. “I’m not used to…calm.” You nodded, understanding.
“I guess we better enjoy it while it lasts.”
Your lips ghosted a smile, realizing you were still touching Hunter’s arm. You moved your hand, suddenly embarrassed. Hunter opened his mouth to speak, but was interrupted by Echo coming down the ramp to see what the commotion was. He also needed a break, and was interested in this fire idea. “Yeah, you’ve really done it now, _____.” Echo teased as you all looked at the growing pile of logs and branches that Omega and Wrecker had collected. “Hey, don’t just stand there, come and help us!” Wrecker called as he balanced more giant branches in his arms. You gave Hunter a look and continued down the ramp to help.
The sun was getting low, and Wrecker was adding the last log to a massive pile he and Omega collected. You were collecting small sticks and brush for kindling. Wrecker put down the last one, wiping sweat from his face. “Phew! Do you think this is enough?” He huffed. “If you are trying to light a fire big enough for the entire Galaxy to see, then yes.” Tech said casually as he came down the ship’s ramp, also now having his interest piqued. “Oh, it’ll be a massive fire, I can’t wait!” Wrecker exclaimed as he winked at Omega.
“So now what? I’ve never made a fire before. Hunter, can you teach me?” Omega asked, looking up at Hunter with large, pleading eyes. Hunter looked at her softly. “Yeah, sure kid.” He glanced at you and then put his hand on Omega’s shoulder, leading her toward the log pile.
As Hunter and Omega began to make a space for the fire, you and Echo were maneuvering some of the bigger logs for everyone to have a seat once the fire was going. Since this planet was desolate, you used the Force to move some of the larger logs. Hunter noticed out of the corner of his eye, always secretly impressed with your graceful power. It was rare when you used it, and it captivated him.
“What’s next Hunter? Hunter?” Hunter snapped out of his thoughts and Omega was looking at him, curiously. “You were staring again.” She said quietly. “I don’t know what you mean, Omega.” He lightly scolded, trying to change the subject.
She gave a small smirk. “You sometimes stare at _____.” Hunter cleared his throat. “And I see her stare at you sometimes, too.” She said matter-of-factly, looking back at the pile of kindling they had placed for the eventual fire. “I think she likes you.” Before he could respond, you had suddenly appeared behind them. “How’s it going?” You asked. Hunter bristled, hoping you hadn’t just heard their conversation, not even realizing you were approaching. “It’s uh…going well. I’m just about to teach Omega how to actually light the fire.”
“I have something embarrassing to admit.” You said sheepishly. “I actually don’t know how to start a fire, either. My Master just always used his lightsaber.” You laughed and Omega smiled.
“Mind if I watch?” You sat down next to Hunter, eager to learn as much as Omega was. Or maybe you were just eager to be close to Hunter. His senses were suddenly overwhelmed with your scent, another thing he was noticing lately. His stomach felt like it was on fire. Get a grip, Hunter. he thought. He snapped himself out of thinking about you once again, and continued with his lesson. “Im going to start with the hard way first. Say you’re stranded without gear. This is important to learn.” He took a small stick to use as a spindle and a small flat piece of wood. “This takes awhile and is a pain, but this is the most basic way to start a spark.” He began to spin the spindle between his hands quickly in to a divot he had made on the flat piece of wood on the ground, held steady by his foot. Omega watched intensely, soaking up every word and action. You saw a small gleam of sweat form at his brow, and watched the concentration in his eyes. Your heart fluttered again, suddenly imagining his sweaty brow and intense look above you in a moment of passion. The smell of smoke brought you back to reality, before your imagination went further. Hunter had made a small ember that was smoking. He carefully moved it to the kindling and gently blew on it to start a small flame.
“Woaaah, let me try!” Omega gasped excitedly and went to work the same way Hunter did on a new piece of flat wood. You watched as he patiently moved her hands to the correct position, gently correcting her when appropriate. For a dark and broody Sergeant, you recognized his moments of softness. Moments that he also sometimes shared with you, which you knew were special, especially coming from someone as guarded as him.
After trial and error, and some frustration, Omega finally got her own spark. “I did it!” She yelled. Hunter smiled.
“Good work, kid. You might just be a natural. Now, carefully put it in the kindling.”
She gently moved it to the already growing flame and looked at Hunter for approval. “There you go, you did it. That was all you.” Omega beamed and said  “Now it’s _____’s turn.” She jumped up and brushed dust and dirt off her knees, and began to walk away. “Wait, where are you going?” Hunter asked. Omega turned and called,  “I want to tell the others the fire is almost ready!” She gave Hunter a look and ran back to the Marauder where the rest of the boys had gone to rest, before Hunter and you could respond.
It was suddenly quiet, only the gentle crackling of the small fire was to be heard.
“I guess it’s my turn to try, huh?” You said softly, realizing it was just you and Hunter for a moment. The sun was almost set, and the small fire was casting a soft glow on the both of you. “You don’t have to-“ he began but you stopped him.
“No, I want to! What good am I to the team if I can’t even start a fire? I need to impress my Sergeant." You smirked playfully. "Also, I can’t let a kid get the best of me.” You teased as you began to spin the stick between your hands.
“You bring other skills to the team, you don’t have to worry about fire making.” He stated. “Leave that to Omega and I.” He smiled, looking at you. “Also, you don’t need to impress me. You already do that.” Suddenly, you felt shy. Hunter glanced away from you, embarrassed about what he just said, wrestling with his feelings, wondering if he had said too much.
“Thank you, Hunter. I don’t think I’ve ever expressed how grateful I am to you, and to your brothers, for taking me in.” Hunter looked at you. “You don’t need to thank me. But I’m glad you’re here. Part of this team.” He murmured, turning away from you and looking at the fire. “Me too.” You acted before you could think, gently placing your hand on his shoulder, closing the distance between you, forgetting all about the fire lesson. Hunter stiffened a little while facing you, feeling your hand on his unarmored shoulder. The touch he often thought about late in to the night. The touch he wondered if he’d ever feel. If he even deserved it.
Once again, you felt heat climb up your neck to your face and you began to remove your hand, but before you could, Hunter brought his other hand and placed it on top of yours. Your feelings for Hunter exploded in your chest, realizing how handsome he looked in the soft light, his brown eyes shining in the dark, wondering what you should do next as you felt the heat from his hand encapsulate yours. You were taught no attachments, but that had no meaning anymore. Was this just desperation for something that used to be taboo? You tried to read his face, as he gazed intensely at you. Hunter moved closer to you, “____...I want to tell you something…”
Your intimate moment was suddenly cut short by voices as Wrecker, Tech, Omega, and Echo emerged from the falling darkness toward you. Your hand left Hunter’s shoulder and you practically leapt away from him, startled by the intrusion. You caught a small look of disappointment on his face. “Aww yeah, it’s fire time!” Wrecker bellowed as he held a huge armful of sticks and logs. “Let’s get this going!” You were still sitting near Hunter, and Echo gave you and Hunter a sly look as he sat down on a log near the still small fire, carrying ration bars. You were suddenly distracted by the giant roar as the fire grew due to Wrecker and Omega gleefully adding more and more wood to the fire, blissfully unaware they interrupted…something. Tech tried to explain the optimal way to place logs to get the most efficient fire, but his remarks were ignored and Omega and Wrecked piled more in to the blaze, and he soon gave up.
The heat blazed and sparks flew in to the air, the wood cracking and popping. The fire was massive, and Omega had never seen anything like it and was in awe. You saw Hunter out of the corner of your eye as he stared in to the flames, his face unreadable. You all enjoyed the light and intense warmth the large blaze gave, sitting in silence for a bit. You desperately wanted to be alone with Hunter again, as you listened to Wrecker tell another taller than life tale, with an annoyed Tech trying to interject the facts. Your memory was brought back to you and your Master, quietly enjoying the fire and reflecting on your day’s mission. After Wrecker finished his story, Omega turned to you, waiting for another glimpse in to your past. She understood it was hard for you to talk about, but was hopeful to hear something from before the Galaxy she currently knew. “Omega,” Hunter warned. “____ might not want to discuss it.” He gave you a soft look. The look almost melted your heart. You wanted to desperately take his face in your hands and continue what had started before.
“It’s okay, Hunter. I have a story.”
You told Omega of your first solo mission as a Jedi Knight. You had  infiltrated a pirate base. It wasn’t too exciting, but to Omega it was the most amazing story she’d ever heard. Echo passed out the ration bars as you told your story. After you were done, you nibbled on your bar as you stared in to the flames. There was a comfortable silence as everyone ate, enjoying the small bit of calm before you were all off again on another mission.
After awhile, the fire began to dim and there was no more wood to add. Omega let out a yawn, satisfied with her first bonfire. “We should do this more often.” She proclaimed as another yawn overtook her. “Yeah kid, we can.” Hunter whispered. Wrecker had already fallen asleep, laying over a log in an uncomfortable position, snoring away. Tech nudged Wrecker, also ready to go back to the ship to sleep. One by one, they went back to the ship, leaving you, Hunter, and Echo. Echo then stood up, bidding you both a good night. “I’ll leave you two to it, then.” He raised an eyebrow and then he was gone before you either of you could respond.
Once again, you were alone with Hunter and the slowly burning fire. He looked at you, the fire reflecting in his eyes.
He never thought he’d be grappling with feelings like this. Especially for someone like you. But you cared about him. Worried about him and his brothers, something he’d never experienced before. It was new, and frankly, it scared him. He’d never admit it out loud, but that was the truth. But here he was, with you within arms reach again, staring at him and waiting for what might come next. You looked beautiful, ethereal in the glow of the now small fire. “Hunter…” you whispered as you maneuvered closer to him, like you were before earlier in the night. Your hand was close to his on the log you were both sitting on. You couldn’t wait any longer, the tension between you was about to snap. “You wanted to tell me something earlier?”
He stared intensely at you, trying to find the words to say.
“____, I…I wanted to tell you…I care about you.” His voice was deep, almost inaudible. You fully took his hand, looking right in to his eyes. He was suddenly overwhelmed, waiting for your response. “Hunter, I care about you too.” The second he heard you whisper those words, he boldly closed the distance, acting purely on instinct, pressing his lips against yours in a soft, quick kiss. He pulled back slightly, hoping he didn’t mess this all up.
“____, tell me to stop and I will.” Hunter’s voice was husky and deep. Almost a whisper. It sent shivers down your spine. “Never.” You murmured as you brought a hand to his face, gently cradling his head. Relief washed over you, happy you finally revealed how you felt. He closed his eyes and leaned in to your touch, sighing a deep sigh. You moved your hand from his cheek and gripped his collar, needing more. You pulled him back to your lips for a more passionate kiss. He felt a weight lift off his shoulders as the tension between you dissipated, flying in to the sky with the embers from the fire.
It was his turn to bring his hands to your face, cradling your head gently as he deepened the kiss, your heart feeling like it was about to explode out of your chest. The sensation of your lips moving on his was almost overwhelming. His hands were strong, yet gentle as they maneuvered down to your hips, leaving a trail of fire down your body. You both pulled away again, panting slightly, looking in each other’s eyes. All the unsaid words, all the silent looks, were now completely understood by both of you.
Your hand that was on his collar moved to the back of his head, threading your fingers through his long, soft locks while your other hand gripped his shoulder. You whispered his name as he pulled you in impossibly close for another kiss, getting drunk on your scent, your body.
His tongue slowly made his way in to your mouth, which pulled a groan from deep in your chest. Your reactions spurred him on, his hands on your waist ghosting underneath your tunic, his gloved hands moving over your bare skin making the butterflies in your stomach explode. You desperately wanted those gloves off, to feel his skin on yours. After what felt like an eternity, you parted for air once again.  The fire had now died down quite a bit, leaving you both in almost total darkness. You were illuminated by the stars, the only sound being your shallow breaths. You both wanted so much more, but now wasn’t the time. Hunter nuzzled his face in to your neck, and moved one of his hands from your hips to grasp yours, which had fallen to your side. “I’m yours, if you’ll have me.” He whispered against your neck, his heart thudding against yours. “Yes, Hunter.” You whispered back, squeezing his hand. He moved his head from your neck and brought you against his chest in an embrace, his chin leaning on your head. You both gazed at the glowing embers of what used to be the giant fire, wondering what comes next. But at least for now, you were at peace.

There is exactly one criticism that I agree with my, very anti-Jedi, cousin on and that's the Jedi were TERRIBLE Generals. Generals may TRY to make sure their men mostly come back. But useless sacrifices are not only acceptable, but expected, the men are mostly expandable in war. The Jedi did not consider sacrifices like that acceptable or expected. Sure it did happen. It was WAR. But they tried their best to make sure it DIDN'T. The Jedi were terrible Generals. But they were the teachers and Leaders the CLONES NEEDED.
I'm not sure I'd ENTIRELY agree with that. I think I'd be willing to agree that the Jedi were perhaps less CONVENTIONAL Generals, and they definitely do seem to at least TRY to place the lives of their men above just tossing them away for an easy victory, but you can just as easily claim that keeping the men alive to keep fighting is a good strategy in and of itself.
The biggest piece of evidence I'd point to that the Jedi were actually perfectly good Generals is the Citadel arc and Tarkin's criticisms. The one real criticism he makes of the Jedi as military leaders is that they're occasionally too soft and will abandon a mission if it looks impossible to win without near total casualties (on either side). But he's generally fairly positive about the Jedi and if they were truly awful at their jobs, I don't think TARKIN of all people would hold back on saying so, even to the Jedi's faces.
And we DO see the Jedi willing to make sacrifices and accepting that this is a necessary part of war. The Citadel arc is, again, a perfectly good example of this. Obi-Wan and Anakin go in with like 3-4 men each I think and they come back with a grand total of 3 (Rex, Cody, and Fives). A LOT of clones die on this mission that they all KNEW was basically a suicide mission because the Jedi themselves decided that getting the information about the hyperspace lanes was vital enough to the war that it was worth losing multiple lives over (including their own).
So it's not that the Jedi don't understand that sacrifices are necessary in war or even that they avoid it entirely, they just avoid what they see as UNNECESSARY sacrifice for what might amount to a fairly minor victory. Keeping more of their men alive might, in the long run, be a better strategic choice than losing all of them on one campaign, especially if it's over like one uninhabited moon or something like that. There's nothing to say that the losses the Jedi deem acceptable are things that would've changed the entire tide of the war had they chosen to push forward instead.
The other good evidence that the Jedi acting this way would've been the WORSE choice is the Umbara arc. We are told and then see that Krell IS the kind of General who is willing to lose a lot of clones in order to gain victories in battle, and the clones do recognize that he has a lot of victories under his belt. But never once do they discuss whether those victories really MEANT anything or had a large impact on the war effort. It certainly never seems that the Republic is majorly pushing back the Separatists because of Krell's victories, nobody ever mentions that Krell gained them a major advantage with those victories or took out anyone of any consequence on the Separatist side with his strategies. And by the time he gets to Umbara, he's explicitly using this strategy to WEAKEN the Republic side and cause a loss. Several of his strategies WOULD'VE meant the Republic lost on Umbara and it's only the clones utilizing different strategies that put fewer of them at risk that they actually end up continuing to HAVE victories at all.
I'll also point out that the Jedi continuously getting their men killed en masse would've bankrupted the Republic a LOT earlier because they'd have to be paying for more clones a LOT more often than they did in canon and I can't imagine anyone would've considered that a particularly sound strategy and at some point I'm sure the Senate would've felt obligated to put a stop to it anyway and insisted on strategies that kept more clones alive for longer. So I'm not sure it's fair to claim the Jedi were utilizing BAD strategy by not just exclusively using tactics that meant most of their men were killed for every single victory.
So the ONLY criticism we EVER see of the Jedi's ability as military leaders is Tarkin claiming they're "too soft" and Tarkin is the kind of person who would likely say that until the Jedi started carpet bombing entire Separatist planets. Would it give them a victory? Yeah, sure, maybe, but that's the exact same strategy the Separatists are using and look how well that works out for THEM. Everything else we ever see seems to showcase that the Jedi are in fact perfectly good Generals, not just in that they're kind to the clones and are unwilling to carpet bomb Separatist planets, but also because they're just... good at this. They CAN be strategic, they CAN run wars if they want to. And I think that's the whole point of the Jedi in some ways is that yes, they CAN make war when they need to, they just actively choose NOT TO every time they can. THIS is why Qui-Gon tells Padme that he and Obi-Wan are there to protect her but that they can't win this war for her and they end up going off to fight off a Sith while Padme has to actually win the war with her own people and the Gungans instead. The Jedi don't WANT to be in the position of doing nothing but fighting, but they're absolutely capable of this kind of work.
That's the tragedy of the war in some ways, the Jedi ARE good at this no matter how much they wish they weren't sometimes. But being good at it means they can actually protect the Republic, their own men, and even the Separatist civilians better, so they're not going to just sit there and do things that will screw over a bunch of people. Yes, they're going to fight the war in such a way that they reduce casualties as much as possible, but reducing casualties also requires doing enough to not LOSE the damn war, too. It's a delicate balance they're trying to hold on to and I'd argue they manage it better than anybody else would've ever done in their position.

au where the Jedi Order has a program where Knights take odd jobs around Coruscant to strengthen their connection with the planet and also experience life outside of the Order, and Obi-Wan volunteers to work at a newspaper right before the beginning of the Clone Wars, because he thinks writing about intergalactic politics or reviewing new ship designs would be cool…..but the Coruscanti News immediately puts him on the Advice Column, creating a new section called Dear Ben because they think a Jedi would give interesting advice even though they won’t advertise that he’s a Jedi, and the Jedi Council are incredibly supportive because it’s a way to teach Jedi tenets and beliefs to people struggling with grief or anger, etc so Obi-Wan can’t quit even though he very much wants to
Meanwhile Anakin hears about a new column in his favorite section of the Coruscanti News called Dear Ben, and he’s dealing with so much as a senior padawan!! He’s going to see the love of his life Padmé Amidala again soon!! So he writes to the column for advice on how to woo her while on a job (“I’m seeing a woman I met when I was a kid again soon because she hired my company to help her. I know it’s time to kiss her. How do I make her see me as an adult? I dream of her supple body and her—“ the rest of this letter cannot be published in our newspaper for its vulgar depictions and explicit language)
And Obi-Wan gets this letter and he has to write back and be like “Dear Grown and a Shower Not a Grower, please do not do that. Be professional. Romance can wait until after your work is complete. That dedication will surely impress her.”
and Anakin takes his advice, it works, and he keeps writing in for more advice and every single time obi-wan answers because whoever this guy is has ideas of relationships and MARRIAGE and life that need to be corrected
and they absolutely don’t know who they’re writing to, but they carry out a very public correspondence throughout the war as their job allows, and Obi-Wan-as-Ben is able to talk Anakin through a lot of his hurts (ie Rako Hardeen) and eventually Anakin is like holy shit I think I am in love with Ben from the advice column around the same time Obi-Wan realizes he’s incredibly fond of Hopeless On Coruscant (his nickname for Anakin after the 4th major life crisis he wrote in about)
what ever are they to do about it 🙄🤪 other than….meet up 😏
