A/n: I had zero idea what to do for the title :')

General info:

Summary: you finally fall apart after four months of trying to be "okay" without your husband.

Warnings!: A bit of Hawks spoilers, crying, loneliness, and acting "fine" when you're not. Please let me know if I miss any! <33

You smiled sadly as you continued to read the texts your beloved spammed, hands shaking. You were in fact not okay, but there was no way you'd tell Keigo that. He already feels so bad about having to be away- he does not have to deal with the world crumbling guilt he'd feel if you really told him how heart broken you were without him.

Keigo, being the sweetest man alive, spoiled you for a full month before telling you that he had to leave in about a month, puppy dog eyes wet as he clung onto you, chin resting on your chest, occasionaly nuzzlng into his "pillow".

You were dissapointed, but it was only two weeks, you'd manage.

Or so you thought.

It had been four months, and you -and Keigo- were utterly miserable. Though you knew that he'd want you to talk to him, you refused to put more weight on his shoulders.

He was also missing you, plus he had to worry about fighting villains, filling out reports, keeping up with the Commision's standards, keeping a smile on his face, and whatever he had to do for the underground work that you were sure he was having to do on top of everything else.

In your opinion, your feelings didn't matter as much as Keigo's mental health, and so you would keep quiet, smile, and keep your head high for your beloved Keigo.

Letting out a teary giggle, you move to reply.

A few more tears fell down your cheek as you stared at Keigo's profile picture. It was another one of the thousands you took without him knowing. He was staring at a picture of you lovingly, and you luckily caught a picture of his love struck expression, it was honestly one of your favorites.

HIs blonde locks were messy from his slumber, his honey eyes heavy with sleep, and his chest bare. His hand was working to detangle his fluffy hair as he smiled up at a picture of you he had xinsistedx to put on the wall in the hallway- much to your embarasment.

After you took a few you snuck up on him, wrapping your arms around his waist as your burried your face into his warm shoulderblades.

"Baby BIrd! What'cha doing sneaking up on me like that?! Stalker~!"

"You're one to talk! Who was just staring at a picture of the other person?!"

"I couldn't help it! You're just so goregous!"

The memory brought more tears as they cascaded down your wet cheeks, increasing in speed as the dam started cracking.

As another notification went off you clicked your black screen, reading Keigo's newest text swiftly.

My BIrdy 🥰❤️:

nope, i meant 'miss' ;)

Right as you were about to critizize his grammar your balconoy door slammed open, causing you to jump out of your skin.

"I'm home Baby Bird~!" Keigo exclaimed, thrusting out his arms dramatically.

"Keigo.." you whisper, eyes scanning Keigo's familiar form.

He seemed a bit bulkier, and his hair was longer. HIs honey eyes were heavy with exhaustion, but were shining as they searched for your form, immediately focussing on you when you spoke.

His hair was a mess, along with his hero costume and cracked glasses- though he stilled looked incredibly attractive.

"Baby Bird!" Keigo smiled, hurrying towards your huddled figure. You were laying on your back on the expensive love seat Keigo insisted you needed for movie nights. You had told him that it would be too small but he just grinned and replied, "I know, that's the point! We'd be forced to be squished against one another!"

"K-Keigo." You whimper, sitting up to let him take a seat next to you.

"Baby what's wrong?!" Keigo exclaimed, immediately sitting down to pull you into his lap, rocking you back and forth while kissing any skin he could reach- immediately bringing you comfort.

"I- I just-"

"Shhh it's okay baby. You can wait to tell me." Keigo soothed, kissing your lips sweetly.

Your lips trembled as you tried to hold in your sobs, causing Keigo's heart to break.

"It's okay Baby Bird, you can let it all out. I'm safe, you can trust me."

You wobbly nodded, telling yourself that you wouldn't let your emotions win.

"I love you so much." Keigo whispered, pressing a lingering kiss to your forehead.

Sobs spilt from your lips as you clung to Keigo, tearfully babbling about how much you missed him and how hard it was to keep quiet. You eventually started venting about other things that were going wrong in your life. Keigo stuck by you the entiret time, listening to every word.

After your sobs died down and you simply dug your face in the crook of his neck he gently sang to you, luring you to a peaceful slumber.

\\The next day; 9:42 a.m. //

Blinking open your eyes you look around, wondering how you fell asleep.

You remembered talking to Keigo, and then breaking down-

"Keigo?!" You call, worried that his return was a mere dream.

"Yes my darling?"

Smiling, you hurry to jump in his arms, nuzzling your cheek against his.

"Good morning baby." Keigo whispered, kissing your lips lovingly.

"About last night.. I'm sorry for-"

"Baby Bird, if you apologize for having feelings I swear I'll-"

"No no! I'm sorry for hiding them from you!"

"Oh- well then you will be forgiven as long as I get lots of cuddles and kisses.

"Deal."

You Witness Their Regeneration - Doctor Who Preference/Reaction

This isn't going by the Doctor Who storyline, this is my own storyline

WARNING: Angst and a teeny bit of fluff

9 to 10:

"No! Doctor, please!" You cried out as you realized that the Sontaran had shot him right before he fell into the Tardis.

"Stay back, please, (Y/n)! Did I ever tell you that Timelords have with little trick," he grunts in pain, "to cheat death. I'll live, but you won't be seeing this ol' face again."

You nod, though you didn't fully understand what he meant, but you did as he asked and backed up to give him space for whatever was about to happen. Suddenly his hands started to glow a bright, sunny yellow. It looked as if the sun itself was burning him up.

The Doctor lifted his gaze from his hands onto you, "Have I ever told you just how utterly fantastic you are, (Y/n)? And you know what? So was I!"

It finally happened, his hands and face were engulfed by the brightest yellow you've ever seen. It felt like being near a hot fireplace, and he was in the center of it, burning away to form a new man. It didn't take long and the yellow faded away quickly, only to reveal the face of the Doctor.. well, the new face.

This Doctor was skinny and had spikey hair, and you weren't going to lie, he was also quite attractive.

"Doctor? How do you feel?" You asked, a bit cautious at the new man who was now the Doctor.

"Oh I feel just lovely.." he makes a face and runs his tongue over his teeth, "new teeth, that's weird. Anywho! (Y/n), my partner, you look absolutely amazing, have you done something different with your hair because I think it looks so nice..."

As he finished his sentence he came tumbling down on the Tardis floor. You gasped and yelped his name. You kneeled down to him and checked his pulse. Still breathing, just passed out. After all that.. who could blame him for passing out like that? You grabbed him under his arms and proceeded to drag him to his room to let him rest. You could ask questions later when he woke up.

10 to 11:

"You're going to regenerate again, aren't you Doctor?" You asked, noticing how weak he seemed at the moment.

"Yeah, I am, and I wish I could do more, wish I could stay longer, but it's time for a change of face. I don't want to go, but I don't really have a choice," He replied, hunching down in pain.

Some tears fall as you realize you're going to see him in pain again. You hated seeing the Doctor in pain, whether it was physical or emotional didn't matter, any type of pain he was in you wanted to take away. You placed your hand on his shoulder, giving his face a good hard look. You kissed him on the lips, this face on the lips, one last time before sliding your hand off his shoulder and stepping back.

"I still loved you when your face changed the first time, don't think I won't love the next, or any of the ones afterwards," you gave a sad smile.

He returned the same sad smile and looked at his hands starting to glow. The colour never changed, it was always that same burning yellow that gave off heat and remonded you of the sun. Another regeneration is going to be burned through, and soon you'll be met with a new face, a new Doctor.

Again it happened where the bright yellow grew hotter and more powerful, obviously more powerful than the last regeneration as the windows of the Tardis broke and everything was going haywire. The Tardis was crashing, he was busy regenerating, and you didn't know how to fly the damn thing!

The regeneration soon came to an end, the first thing the new Doctor did was check if he had all his limbs. You laughed a bit when he noticed his new chin and his hair a bit longer, thinking he was a girl. Then he realized the Tardis was crashing.

"Doctor, what are we going to do!?" You exclaimed over the Tardis' sounds.

"(Y/n)! My partner, my favourite human being in the universe! What we are going to do is not die, that's what!" The Doctor smiled at you.

You never realized it until that moment, but even when you were in danger, you always managed to make him smile, in all his regenerations... that's one of the things that never changed.

11 to 12:

You had already witnessed two of the Doctors regenerations, now it didn't make you as sad as it used to, knowing that the previous Doctors you have grown to love will be replaced with a new man. No matter what he looked like, you would always love him.

"Alright Doctor, I wonder what you'll look like next!" You exclaimed.

Of course you were still a little sad to see your old Doctor go, but you learned to look forward to who he will be next, what crazy fashion he'll wear, what food items he prefers next, and especially his personality!

"Me too! Hopefully ginger, always wanted to be ginger, but regeneration hasn't been nice to me," he smiled a bit.

This one wasn't like the other regenerations, this time it was almost like a flash, it wasn't like the sun, this time it was like a light flickering. An extremely blinding light, but a flicker of light none the less. It took you a second to grasp what happened, but soon you realized you were staring at the Doctor, new and older at the same time.

"Gah!" The Doctor shouted, "New kidneys, I've got new kidneys... I don't like the colour!"

You laughed a little at that statement, "You don't like the colour of your kidneys, Doctor, how can you see them, they're inside of you?!"

Before he could answer there was a knock at the Tardis door, it seemed like an angry knock. The Doctor got to the door before you could check who it was. Yes, this Doctor was older, but just like every other Doctor you've been with, you could learn to love him just the same.

You started towards the Tardis doors, into a new adventure with your new Doctor.

Love, Theoretically by Ali Hazelwood: a critically kind review from a femme acespec physicist <3

First, a quick romance novel review!

spoiler: it wasn’t my favorite but I gave it a ⭐️⭐️⭐️.75 because being a writer has made me a generally more appreciative reader + I am so starved of woman in physics rep.

the good

It just felt good to read about a woman physicist, who are still incredibly underrepresented in fiction, especially as protagonists. (I’ll go off about that in a minute.)

The romance is so swoony with shoujo manga vibes, I haven’t read straight M/F adult romance novels in a while and I just loved the flutteriness of it.

A couple of chapters were so soft with excellent pillowtalk. There was something about the ambience of the snow, the hypnotic sadness of failure, the prescence of a comforting person.

I enjoyed identifying the relatable parts about physics academia. Hazelwood clearly did a lot of research, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. It definitely kept me reading!

the bad

The academia issues are so over-simplified it’s almost juvenile. For an adult novel, even one marketed as a romcom, I expect more nuance, more explanations, more explicit lingering in tight positions.

And then the romance tries to be complex (and has a lot of potential!) but not a lot of conflict really happens.

A fictional physics fued between theorists and experimentalists is a really fun (and actually not far off) concept, but I would have expected some things to be the other way around. (More on that later!)

Okay this is personal but the main couple both have terrible taste in movies. Twilight vs white male rage movies??? There is no lesser evil here

Elsie’s hardships aren’t put in a very serious light. Her diabetes and lack of access to health insurance is used as a plot device to engineer romantic momentum between the characters and/or comic relief.

Just overall, the book tried so hard to remain “light” that I think it fails to garner depth. Because adult lives really aren’t that light all the time, and a book can bring relaxation and joy whilst including real worldly negative experiences.

There were aroace and sapphic side characters, but I wanted so bad for Elsie to be demisexual. It's set up so perfectly only for it to be averted—As a demisexual person myself, Elsie’s feelings about attraction felt acutely familiar to me, and every other reader I've spoken to has agreed that the book took a dissapointing and unexpected turn. I understand Hazelwood may not feel equipped to write queer protagonists but if I were her editor, I would have flagged that and recommended she make it canon. It would have added so much more context and dimension to Elsie, and would’ve put hetero demisexuals on the map. </3

Following up on the above: The smut tries so hard to be meaningful but it ... really is icky, stereotypical, unrealistic allocishetero stuff. Think: the shy inexperienced girl vs the man who knows exactly how to advise her. The characters try to subvert the trope by calling it out, but it feels performative because all is forgotten in the next second. The PiV sex is weirdly conventionally idealistic considering the pairing’s size difference. I’m picky about smut but also forgiving when I do like the dynamic. I just didn’t here.

Following up once again: I was ready to ignore all the repetitive comments about how sexy Jack’s height and muscles were, because sure, I guess Elsie has a type. But the sex scenes solidified the redundancy of it all. I've read this same dynamic in countless smutty heteronormative M/F paperbacks. And I have also been made aware by every Hazelwood reader that all her books focus on this kind of physical build pairing. I just want more diversity, you know?

IDK, I just wanted more physics in here than complaining about teaching, glossed over toxic mentors, and using some quirky physics term in every other sentence. (More on that below!)

I just wanted ... more? It’s not an extremely short novel, but both the plot and the character development fell flat. The ups and downs were too fast and easy, and the placement felt off. I finished the book and wondered, “That’s it? That’s all that happened?” It just wasn’t fulfilling. The side characters aren't expanded upon, and don’t get enough pagetime. My other romance reads this year were Bellefleur's The Fiancee Farce and Mcquiston’s One Last Stop. In both of those novels, the drama was fleshed out with so much care and detail. In comparison, Love, Theoretically may mention similar social difficulties in passing, but failed to really, really show us.

Overall ... the novel was fun for being about physicists but I really don’t see myself picking up another Hazelwood book, especially considering this isn’t even a debut novel. The conventional white steminist vibe and the particular allocishetero M/F dynamic just isn’t my thing.

But perhaps a reader wanting more of a novel and its characters is a good problem to have. Never say never, I guess! I look forward to keeping tabs on what Hazelwood publishes in the future!

Now, onto the physics!

First, most physicists, as good scientists, understand that theory and experimentation are fundamentally linked. It’s true that we each are often biased towards our own methods of research, but it is quite a stretch to imagine full professors so blatantly feud against others solely because of theory vs experimentation. Regardless, I was happy to suspend my disbelief for the sake of the plot that was framed in a genre-specific, lighthearted, humorous way.

Secondly, both theory and experimentation have sources of funding that are motivated in different ways, and Hazelwood's decision to have the theorists struggle with funding cuts due to declining interest in pop culture/the general public is actually quite credible. Experimentation garners a lot more interest from the application and engineering end of society, parts that are easily fueled by capitalism.

However, I think experimentalists in general are far less likely to be mean to theorists than the reverse scenario. Dr Fatima Abdurrahman has a great video essay about that called on her YouTube channel called “Quantum Physics, Feminism, and Objective Reality: What Physicists Don’t Want You to Know About Quantum Mechanics.” Dr Fatima outlines how old white men in physics have maintained this image of unwavering scientific objectivity in the name of rigor, despite studying a field that fundamentally is barely fathomable for humans. In simpler terms: Men, even in theory, pretend to be better, smarter, and more valid as physicists despite being in an infamously iffy field. And I would have liked to see that represented. It was just really hard for me to buy narcissistic grad students mansplaining Elsie about her field, and Elsie’s righteous feminine rage, when the field in question is … physics theory? It just didn’t make sense to me, when all of my personal experiences point to the opposite.

But every cloud has a silver lining, and having a woman theorist in a physics field that’s less popsci-oriented is actually … really cool. And having her love interest be a man in experimentation … sort of subverts gender roles and conventional media expectations.

Let me explain. The reality is that when women are represented in STEM, media prefers to put them in biology, like a nurse to a doctor, a people-oriented nurturer, a mere sidekick to the real “objective” scientist—often a mathematician or an astrophysicist who is always a man. And when women are placed in physics, they are automatically assigned to observational astronomy, which is dismissed as passive and easy. (This is wildly untrue—though styles of research in astronomy has interestingly allowed a somewhat more diverse array of researchers in history. Even today, you’ll see a higher frequency of women and queer people in every astronomy department.)

I think my ideal version of this novel would be retaining Elsie in theory, while also making theorists the overall bad guys in the feud. I would love to have her talk about the unique sexism she faces as a theorist. I would kill for a scene in which Jack gets gobsmacked by how fucking good at math she really is, compared to him (instead of, like, only making fun of it like it’s easy). I would love to read about her getting a tour of his lab, and just more physics content. But maybe I’m the only one saying that, because I’m a physicist. Maybe Hazelwood simplified it all to keep the book appealing to the general masses.

Still, it all read more like a girlpower!!! chant rather than a real commitment to represent a woman in STEM. I savored every moment Elsie or George would go off about physics. I loved Elsie’s conversations with Olive, a different STEM academic. (Monica was more complicated and actually quite interesting, and I wish we could have seen more of her. Heck, I wish we had actually been given any tangible info about Jack’s mom, even.) But I genuinely felt these instances were rare. Elsie referred to being a physicist a lot (and frankly, her mind is more physics-y than any IRL physicist considering the sheer number of physics-inspired figures of speech she uses … but I excused that as silly comic relief, a quirk in Hazelwood’s writing style). But she didn’t tangibly do physics on page. It was disappointing, considering women characters in STEM is what Hazelwood is known for.

And there are physicists who love teaching—even physicists who solely want to teach. Physicists who do pedagogy research. I know the book was mainly trying to criticise the adjunctification and dismissal of physics higher education, and it’s actually quite accurate in representing that most physicists in academia would prefer not to teach. But the excecution also ends up erasing physicists who aren’t in academia just for research. And I say this especially because the validity of teaching physicists as physicists is dismissed in real life. It’s used as justification to further force all physics academics to try to juggle between both research and teaching, whether they want to or not.

Which leads us to bad mentors. I’ve had a bunch of those. As Olive pointed out in an excellent quote, “Academia is so hierarchical, you know? There are all these people who have power over you, who are supposed to guide you and help you become the best possible scientist, but . . . sometimes they don’t know what’s best. Sometimes they don’t care. Sometimes they have their own agenda. […] Sometimes they’re total shitbuckets who deserve to step on a pitchfork and die.” And the thing is, the novel really doesn’t show us any of that (perhaps other than in Monica). We don’t fully get to know what happened to Jack’s mom, or Olive. We are not shown what Dr L’s agenda really was. Their final confrontation was so quick, when in reality shitty mentors are often sticky and entwined with your work, hard to cut off and scarier to talk back to even after you’ve finally realized they’re toxic.

Which isn’t to say the novel is just inadequate about everything. It’s correct in how goofy physics faculty are, and how white man-dominated the field is, how students try to mansplain women profs, how theorists madly work on their computers (as an experimentalist, I could never understand), how publishing is finicky (to put it kindly), and how tenured faculty fail to understand the reality of the job market in academia today. There are certain parts (like the quote above!) where I felt incredibly seen as part of a minoritized identity group in STEM academia. It’s rare to have a book written from this PoV, and as a first I think this novel will always be special for me!

this pic has been fucking me up for 4 days straight cause i seriously cannot figure oit what he's thinking/feeling, i've rewatched it countless times too but its impossible to figure out this man's face....

this is not even a dig towards justin kirk he's insanely good as mencken this is more so a critique towards the editing team cause i feel like it really shouldnt be THIS hard to figure This One Bit out. i get that his whole thing is being kinda unreadable but it srlsly shouldn't be this difficult to parse his feelings and thoughts in this one scene. like i cant help but think this wouldn't be the case if they had kept in his deleted scenes idk.

like i can see worry, dissapointment, curiousity, disgust, shock, embarrassment in his face and i KNOW its obviously an overlap of feelings but like COME ON. i cant fucking parse his thoughts and feelings on roman in this ep like i KNOW he doesnt like public displays of weakness but thats obviously not entirely whats going on here!

idk if this is insane, but I genuinely believe Magenta would be more interesting if Jake and Ashley got eliminated instead of James and Fiore

Dom't get me wrong I love Jake, but all he's done is be a drama and screentime sponge. Ashley and Ally have suffered; the eliminated members of Magenta suffered; Tom and Aiden have suffered, even characters like Ellie are suffering because of this

And...what has Ashley even done? Idk man...she's just everyone's friend and hated a child

Really, James shouldn't have stayed long. But Miriam is a winner and she still did something. Why couldn't he?

And don't even get me STARTED on Fiore all stars massacared her character.

In conclusion; Magenta team dissapoints me. It could have been so much better...

Including Kaya in any sort of Usopp ship is just peak I gotta say. Personally also a fan of Usopp writing her all the time and them conversing over letter and him just more and more opening up to her about also crushing on Sanji and god, yeah they talked about it , about being open, about not being monogamous, but it’s always so easy in theory and Usopp completly understands if she doesn’t feel like this anymore but he at least thinks Sanji deserves to know, but he loves Kaya so much so he wants to set the record straight with her first…

And then he finally gets an answer back from her and it’s just a “GO FOR IT!” Written in gigantic letters across the entire page with her even including a few hearts and an adorable doodle of herself giving a thumbs up in the corner. Usopp almost dies from love because “My girlfriend is so cool!” But also “I need to gather my nerves and ask Sanji out on a date this instant I will not dissapoint you Kaya I will go for it!!”

this is so, so sweet,,, my heart is melting. see? it's gone. i'm completely devastated. that's so,,, cute,, and so real,,

usopp would be so, so careful with this, too. because what if sanji finds these letters???? he would instantly die.

also, i love this whole poly thing because i can totally see sanuso dating and usopp still talking about kaya to sanji like, unconsciously. because he loves her very much. and he instantly regrets it because what if it makes sanji feel bad??? but then sanji is just like, looking at him with a love-sick expression and enjoying every second of this and saying he really, really wants to meet kaya.

nami teases usopp a lot because he definitely has a type. and he doesn't really get it until one day the sunlight shines perfectly on sanji, and he smiles, and usopp just realizes kaya and him are more alike than he thought. he's so embarrassed.

Bahrain unserious race overview by me part 2

6. Sauber

ZHOU did really good! Almost points. Sauber seem better than expected. Especially in race pace. It seems like they need to work on their qualifying a bit. Bottas got really unlucky with the pitstop. I think he would've done really really well too. Excited to see them next week.

7. Haas

The most positive surprise of the season so far. Very well done by the whole team. I've kinda developed a soft spot for Hulk over the last 2 weeks (it's those Max videos they are to blame!), so I was really dissapointed at the beginning when he too got unlucky. Seems like a bad day for all my favorites unfortunately. Anyway Haas doing better than expected? A great story for this season im honestly rooting for them so bad.

8. RB

Boy oh boy. Poor Yuki. Mr "he's been great with me" getting preferential treatment for no reason whatsoever. Disgusted once again. Can not believe what just happened. First he gets outqualified then he gets outpaced all over the span of 3 days and he has the GUTS the AUDACITY to call Yuki immature? Get a grip. They stopped poor Yuki mid overtake just so their golden boy would stop crying on the radio. All this and for what? 0 points. A big fucking zero. I hope he gets cooked next week too and the week after that and I hope he gets dropped again cos he deserves it. Get him out of my sport. Zac Brown sorry for everything I have ever said about you you were right we were just too blind to see it.

9. Williams

Poor drivers. Bad car and faulty steering wheel and hot car? Apparently? But it's according to the steering wheel so idk if we can trust it. All in all it's bad in williams land. Everything sucks except James Vowles. My man 💪 My hero ❤️ and hopefully one day my therapist 🙏 cos he's so good at it. I simply love James Vowles. And I love Alex and I love Logan and I am so sorry their steering wheel turned against all of them today. Or the hot car. Or whatever the issue was there was simply too many issues to follow.

10. Alpine

Every time I see their car or their names on screen I just feel sorry for them. That's all I feel. I'm so sorry for Pierre and Esteban. They're so laughably bad it's funny. But not really. It's more sad. It's.... a tractor. They're in the same position as last year in the sense that they're not fighting anyone but this time it's because even the slow cars are too fast for them. Is there a category below backmarkers cos that's what they are. It's just sad.

Stuff like text messages, dms and photos are so easy to fake nowadays that it honestly all could be fake, or it could all be real none of us truely know. I don’t know about the screenshots but imo the photos (especially the last one) looks really edited but that’s just my opinion. That could also be because I did really love drew, he was my fav and I know I shouldn’t put such high expectations onto people I don’t even know personally but I just couldn’t help but think he was a good guy if you know what I’m trynna say. Mmmm.. Idk what to tag this as. I mean I'm not fuming at the mouth in this one with my opinions but there could be some pretty strong ones and god knows how the fandom takes those so I guess I'll just tag it in the salt just to be safe and if all goes well I'll tag it in the awakening tag.

Miraculous Awakening...

I liked it. I thought it was decent. I'm not crazy in love with it tho and I can see why people don't like it and are mixed on it for sure. It does feel pretty bland and the pacing is GOTTA GO FAST up in this bitch so you don't really get a lot of moments to breathe and take in what's happening, other than when they're singing.

But anyways. I want to talk about Marinette/ladybug because wow. Man I loved her character in this movie.

I loved that we got to see her weaknesses and strengths. The movie did fast forward a lot of her growth with its Sonic pacing which was a bummer but what we did get to see of her in my opinion did not dissapoint. I also loved that her character is not just solely based on Adrien or Chat Noir. She has dreams again like she did in the beginning of the canon show. She wants to be confident, brave, open to herself and to the world, but she's so shy and scared and clumsy so she doesn't see herself capable of reaching that part of herself in her life and I think that part of her especially with me is what made me connect with her so much more. Seeing where she started and where she ends at the end of the movie is what made me love her as a character and connect to her on a personal level. Seeing Marinette hurt and bruised and losing a fight but still getting back up to finish the fight without Powers is something I have wanted to see FOR THE LONGEST TIME DUDE.

And I've heard people say that this movie feels like fanfic and yeah I can't even lie. There's points where it actually does😂

Like Hawk moth suddenly turning into Darth vader and FUCKING FORCE CHOKING ADRIEN💀

And Plag shitting himself everytime he's on screen for whatever reason.

Genuinely.... Why Zag? I need answers.

But this doesn't. Not this. This feels like what was supposed to be from the beginning. This feels like ladybug again. The ladybug that I don't get frustrated with her character decisions and direction. A ladybug that feels grounded in her objective and doesn't feel over the top lost in romance and boyfriends. A ladybug that truly appreciated her partner. A ladybug who took the responsibility of a hero seriously.

This movie is not perfect, not by any means. It's corny as shit and it's barely even good at times.

However, it brought back a lost hero in my eyes and I gotta applaud ZAG for that.

I've said this before but ladybug/Marinette was once my favorite character in miraculous and I really missed talking about her without being an asshole.

I can't believe TS has become an artist I have to sep their art from. I along with many other people looked up to her and loved her content and music to another level. I enjoyed analyzing her lyrics and I felt immense pride every time she achieved something. I was never blind to her problematic side or actions, but this really takes the cake and it's just straight up hurtful, as someone who is muslim and south asian.

She really advocated for such serious issues and when she did, she spoke of it with such passion and now this??? and she says it's the happiest she's ever been? No, his actions aren't hers and she's not responsible for them but who you associate yourself with says a great deal about you, and rn, she's publicly, boldly romantically associating herself with a man who constantly picks on islam and has admitted to enjoying adult content featuring black women being abused.

I really am having a hard time digesting this but ofc, these people don't know me and I don't know them beyond what's shown on screen. I am not a TS anti fully but I'm incredibly dissapointed and idk if I can ever fully align myself with her again or call myself a swiftie but I appreciate and admire her artistry and the strength with which she dealt with her life's hardships. Basch is not a happy camper. He wants you to be obedient for him so he can protect and provide for you. He had a feeling this would happen, but he's still dissapointed in you anyways. You'll be told by him that fighting isn't worth it since you're getting nowhere. All you're earning is more time in the basement tied up.

Game: Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?

His feelings for you are very serious and he'd never find your attempts you abandon him entertaining. It upsets him greatly to even think about you leaving, so trying to is like a nightmare for him. He'd punish you severely if he caught you planning or executing an escape attempt.

Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them?

If they try to escape, he might shoot them in the leg. He'll carry them back to somewhere where he can take care of the wound obviously, but it'd still be horrifying to experience.

Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?

He's not really jealous, but he does still hate when others are around you. If Vash does get jealous then he'll probably get frustrated and leave with you. (he'll give you a long lecture while leaving too)

Kisses: How do they act around or with their darling?

Not much to say explain how he acts other than sweet but cautious. (this feels so off topic but) You're forbidden from being near anything he sees as dangerous and he would have a stroke if he found you near one of his guns. One of the pros to this is that you rarely cook since you're allowed no knives.

Love letters: How would they go about courting or approaching their darling?

Vash isn't all that romantic so you'll just take him as you receive him. Doesn't mean he isn't trying to be as nice as possible though! It's just hard for him to show you.

Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?

Yes and no. While he isn't a completely new man when around you, Basch will still be seen as friendlier than usually.

Naughty: How would they punish their darling?

Ran away? Broken leg. Attacked him? Tied up. Talked back? He will say a mean thing back. Or he just hits you. Not too rough though, but enough to put you in your place. The punishment just depends on how mad he is with you and why.

Oppression: How many rights would they take away from their darling?

Well, you have like.. 15 important rules. These are all just things you'd expect though. If it has anything to do with being around other people, being outside, or you potentially getting harmed, then it's not allowed.

Patience: How patient are they with their darling?

You get two days to get your act together once he takes you to his house. He'll be patient until that time is out. Outside of the mercy period he gave you, he isn't so patient.

Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?

No matter how he lost you once he abandoned hope it always ends the same. He'll shut off himself and think about what he could've done to keep you by his side. He'll still work, but he'll be getting frustrated very easily.

Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?

He thinks about it sometimes during nighttime. He feels he did what was right and doesn't feel bad for it in his opinion. Vash knows it upsets you, but he'll never let you leave.

Stigma: What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?

Vash has many reasons, but it all adds up to him wanting you to have a peaceful life.

Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?

It hurts him a lot, he doesn't want to make you scared or uncomfortable. He'll ask you why your upset but it might come out kinda rough. He might just ask Lily to do it for him if he thinks it's hard enough.

Unique: Would they do anything different from the classic yandere?

He would be the most overprotective of them all, but he wouldn't coddle you like some overprotective yanderes. You can still cook if he's watching and you are allowed to own a weapon. (unless he's proven that you shouldn't)

Vice: What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?

Probably indirect guilt tripping, even if he doesn’t feel too bad about kidnapping you, he would start to feel this nagging ache in his heart at you looking so miserable. But he’d probably harden up if he starts to catch onto it being a trick.

Wit’s end: Would they ever hurt their darling?

For punishment, yes. Otherwise it'd be a no. If he did then it's not likely he'll maim you, maybe a broken limb if you try and escape his grasp (99% chance it'll be your leg).

Xoanon: How much would they revere or worship their darling? To what length would they go to win their darling over?

He's not the worshipper type, or anything near that, that doesn't mean he doesn't care for you though. It's just not the way Basch is.

Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?

Depends when he turns yandere for you, but on average it'd be about seven months to four years. It also depends on if anything happens that might trigger him to intensify faster, like you getting badly hurt or getting a partner.

Zenith: Would they ever break their darling?

Low chance, if he does it's an accident. This is mostly because he doesn't beat you for no reason or anything, but if you keep escaping and give him a reason to then it's possible.
