Klaroline WIP Wed - Freaky Friday Time Travel fic - Part 2
Okay so FFTT fic won the poll so here you go! I gave an extra amount bc I couldn't decide a reasonable place to stop. Picks up after this snippet.
--------------------
While her vampire hearing might have been bogged down by the noise in the Square, she was annoyingly attuned to Klaus’ presence. His parting words reached her easily: “Someday, you will.”
She had gone to lunch grumpy and while fortunately Matt had accepted her grumbled explanation of having run into the hybrid menace–he agreed that would put anyone in a bad mood–she hadn’t quite been able to shake the vague itch that sat under her skin as she helped Matt struggle through algebra.
Even before Elena had been assisted into mind-wiping her whole personality, it felt like the only times she’d been needed were to attempt to twist Klaus around her finger, and those all had middling results that usually left her staring at her ceiling that night instead of sleeping. And now that Klaus wasn’t the worst monster in town–at least from her perspective–she hadn’t gotten a lot of calls recently. Maybe that was why she was so eager to help Matt: it was nice to feel needed.
And maybe that was the reason she had gone over to Klaus’ house when he’d blown up her phone with eleventy billion messages. Not that he’d freaked her out with his half-coherent voicemails. It was already a betrayal in several ways that she agreed to be friends with him. Admitting she cared? She tried to imagine what Tyler would say, his mom’s murderer friends with his girlfriend.
By the time she left the grill, Matt was consistently getting the correct answers on the tougher equations, and she’d worked herself into a ball of stress that only a hemoglobin juice pouch could sate.
Now, staring down at the small cardboard box on the porch swing, Caroline wondered what game Klaus was trying to play. Was he trying to make up for being a bit of a dick–okay, not really, but it’s the principle of the thing–the last time they spoke? If it was Klaus.
A ripped piece of sketch paper was taped to the top and she tugged it free. Her name was printed in Klaus’ bold handwriting, and she sighed. Picking up the box, she let herself into the house. Once in her room, she set the box on her vanity and told herself sternly she would deal with it later. Both AP Bio and AP Calculus finals were tomorrow and she needed to study. Really needed to study.
Pulling her books out of her school bag, she arranged herself comfortably on her bed, shoes off, color-coded notebooks at hand, rubber-banded stacks of flashcards at her hip. She put on soothing lo-fi as background music; she was ready.
Caroline’s resolve lasted an unfortunate seven minutes before she was pulling a pair of scissors out of her vanity and cutting the tape keeping the box closed. Pulling the flaps back revealed cottony packing fluff that she began pulling out until at last the real contents of the box were revealed. Nestled in more fluff, a thick chain with a chunky triangular prism on it sat in the box. It was old, the prism framed in gold.
“Oh wow,” she murmured, picking it up by the chain and dangling it in front of her face. The stone was some kind of iridescent green with small cracks in it, and the frame of the pendant had markings on it. “That is… really ugly.” It rotated in the light from her lamp, and what looked like writing was down one side. Caroline put out a hand to move it back to get a better look at it, but the moment her fingers connected with the pendant, they stuck.
An odd whooshing filled her ears, and the light in her room must have popped because her vision went white.
“Oh shit!” She blinked rapidly, hoping she could see something, anything, while she shook her hand, trying to dislodge the necklace. Whatever magic bullshit was going on, she was going to kill Klaus when she got her hands on him, white oak stake be damned.
A pulse slammed through her and it almost felt like she fell past someone, and then she stumbled back and slammed into something that felt like bars. The necklace fell away from her hand and clattered to the floor; she left it there. Sparkles were dancing in her vision, slowly clearing into the view of an expensive-looking bedroom through a balcony door. She could see a large bed and a chaise lounge next to a bookshelf, another door that looked like it led to an en suite. It could have been an expensive apartment or a fancy hotel room, it was hard to tell. None of it looked familiar, and it certainly wasn’t in Mystic Falls. It didn’t even look American, that look that comes from being several hundred years old that few still occupied buildings had.
Pushing herself up against the balcony, Caroline turned around to take in the view and gasped. In the distance, the Eiffel Tower lit up the night horizon, the glow of a thousand lights brightening up the city. Some part of her was horrified, she’d clearly been kidnapped, she didn’t know how she was going to get home in time for her final unless Klaus could zap her back, and explaining this to her mother would probably ensure she was grounded for, she didn’t know, opening strange packages or something. Caroline should know better.
The other part of her was frozen, thinking how magical the city looked at night.
A soft noise came from behind her. “I would be open to giving the neighbors something magnificent to look at if you insist on the balcony, although I may have to kill them for the pleasure of it afterward.”
Caroline spun around at Klaus’ voice, poised to give him a piece of her mind, and froze. He stood in the door frame without a single stitch on, the lean muscles of his body on display for her like a feast, the tattoos she’d seen on his chest the one time, the trim waist leading down to his incredible co–she clapped her hands over her eyes. There was no looking, none. “Seriously, why are you naked?” She may have shrieked a little. “And why are we in Paris? Is this your idea of a date? Because you are taking me home right now, buddy. I cannot believe you kidnapped me.”

ᴅᴀʏ ꜱɪx: April 19th
Syn: You make the cake and decorate for the party.
Pairing: Bakugou Katsuki x Reader
A/N: I'm actually really happy about how this event turned out- all the fics written in this collaboration can be read separately, but it's recommended you read them all in order :) The master list is here, go check out the other writers because they're so amazing and talented AUGH.
Warning(s): Cursing (it's Katsuki what are you gonna do), bad baking terminology, maybe ooc idk, reader is referred to as female like once- Kiri calls her ma'am, reader compliments Katsuki's ass lmao, just fluffy in general though, class 3-A, reader is in the hero course.
Tumblr media
This was it. Tomorrow, your plan would finally be put in motion.
It was the 19th of April, and to say the very least, you were stressed.
Stressed might not be the word for it. More like anxiety, excitement and fear into one overwhelming emotion that you couldn't convey into words. Tomorrow was Katsuki’s 18th birthday. And everything had to be perfect.
You sat in your dorm room, thumbing the pages of the cookbook you so loving made him, picturing his own rough hands touching the book the same way when you gave it to him. Your heart warmed at the thought- your boyfriend never ceased to give you butterflies, even without intending to.
Doubt plagued your mind however- what if he didn’t like it? What if he thought it was too dumb, or too simple- should you have done more?!
No, you scold yourself. You needed to trust yourself. You knew Katsuki well- he excelled in the extravagant, but he still found joy in the smaller things.
Still... you couldn’t help but worry. This would be a big day for him-a huge milestone. You didn’t want to mess it up.
Setting the cookbook down, you finally place it into the bag you had for him, jet black with orange stuffing. The small action put the whole situation into perspective for you.
This was finally happening.
But you still had work to do today. Pulling out your phone, you open the messaging app, and click on the contact you needed.
You: Mission Keep Katsuki Away is a go >:)
Kiri🥊: Yes ma’am >:))
Turning off your phone, you pocket it, and leave your dorm room. All that was left to do was the cake.
After slaving through the school day, you all return to your dorms, with the exception of Kirishima and Katsuki, the former dragging the latter away for something he called “a bro date”. You chuckled at his excuse, and left them to their own devices as you returned to Heights Alliance, sending a text to Kirishima as you walked.
You: Hey! What’s your status?
Kiri 🥊: Just got to the bus! I’ll keep him busy as long as I can
You: Perfect!!
You: Thank you so much again
Kiri 🥊: No problem! He’s going to love it, you put so much work into making this special for him :D
You: Aww...thanks Kiri! Fingers crossed 😭
You weren’t terrible at baking per se, but you weren’t no Sato. And you would ask him to make the cake himself, but you didn’t want to ask too much of anyone.
So it was up to you. You wanted to make a small two-tiered cake, it would be enough to feed all of 3-A and hopefully there would be leftovers.
Sifting through the pantry you found what you needed one by one. Cocoa powder, dark cocoa powder, eggs, milk, butter, flour, baking soda, the list went on. You were making a chocolate cake, covered in dark chocolate ganache, drizzled with caramel. Katsuki wasn’t a big fan of sweets, and you knew that, but cake was cake. You also knew that he secretly did have a sweet tooth so he wouldn’t be too upset. Hopefully the bitterness of the dark chocolate would make the rest of the cake a little less sweet to align with the explosive blond’s tastes.
Grabbing three large bowls and the mixer Sato let you borrow, you get to work, mixing wet and dry ingredients separately, cracking eggs, melting chocolate, and whisking like your life depended on it.
While you baked, you popped in an earbud, sweet music, lifting your mood and dancing around the kitchen, in your own world.
And hour later, the two tiers of the cake were in the oven, (not before tasting the batter yourself of course) and you look around at the kitchen, the adrenaline rushing out of you. It was a mess. The was flour in your hair, on your face, and you’re pretty sure the cocoa powder on your shirt is going to stain.
You sigh, taking off your earbuds and pausing the music from your phone. At least the cake was done.
Grabbing the cleaning supplies from the closet, you get to work, making sure the kitchen was spotless so no one (namely Katsuki, for obviously reasons, and Ochaco and the self-proclaimed Bakusquad because they would beg you to have a taste of their own) would know what you were up to.
The cakes were done by the time you finished, taking them out of the oven and sealing the two layers together with some ganache.
You had asked Mr. Aizawa to reserve Gym Gamma for you previously, getting his permission to decorate the space for the party, and so you made your way there now, deciding to decorate the cake in the Gym itself so you wouldn’t have to move it afterwards.
You got Ochako to float the cake and the toppings for it to the gym itself, so in the meantime, you busied yourself with setting up all the food- something you didn’t want to do yesterday as it would’ve gone stale.
You recruited the help of Kaminari, Sero, Mina and Kyoka to help you carry everything- including the mini fridge you saved up to buy to store the food and drinks overnight. You’d take them out the next morning.
When you got there, you were surprised to see Midoriya, Todoroki, Tsu, Iida, and Momo there alongside Ochako who explained they all wanted to help.
You feel your smile stretch across your face, happy to see so many people who wanted to give Katsuki the best birthday ever.
Splitting up the work, Midoriya, Todoroki and Iida went to go find the plates, cups, bowls, and cutlery you bought with Mitsuki - something you thought may have been overkill, but she had planned everything down to a T.
The others flitted around, either helping to put food or drink items into the fridge, or checking to make sure nothing happened to the decorations overnight.
You took to decorating the cake. Pouring the ganache over the first tier, you used it as an adhesive of sorts and you lifted the second layer on top of it. Once you did that, you poured the remaining ganache over the entire cake, evenly, so it created a pretty coat on top that you were sure it would add a nice crunch to the cake itself.
You groaned, stabbing your spatula into the quickly hardening ganache, having to ask Todoroki to heat it up every few minutes so that it wouldn’t harden completely- an annoyingly tedious task, but you knew Katsuki hated the taste of frosting- so hopefully he would appreciate the favor.
You waited for it to harden, then adding drizzles of caramel everywhere, and strategically placing strawberries where you could for a refreshing change in flavor.
And then lastly, adding thin golden candles to the cake, ten on the bottom row, and seven on the top. Momo created a special candle shaped like one of his gauntlets that you put in the center of the circle of seven candles on the top. And finally, you were done.
Momo made another contraption for you, a tall glass dome with temperature settings that you would put on the cake to prevent the strawberry from going bad overnight. After setting the cake on its stand, you put the dome over it, thanking Momo for her help.
It was then when you received two texts.
You open the first one, snorting when you read what it has to say.
Katsu 💥🧡: Oi, I know you’re up to something- Shitty Hair just dragged me to the damn movie theater to watch some stupid Crimson Riot movie.
You: Aww it couldn’t have been that bad!!
You: Can’t the all mighty Lord Explosion Murder God Dynamight survive a short movie date?
You: Plus I told you- I'm not up to anything lmao
Katsu 💥🧡: I call bullshit
Katsu 💥🧡: Plus that movie was three damn hours- short my ass
You: To be fair, you do have a nice ass
You: I KID I KID
You: But I promise you’ll get extra cuddles when you get back my big baby
Katsu 💥🧡: Fuck off
Katsu 💥🧡: Meet me at my dorm after dinner
Katsu 💥🧡: And don’t think I’m letting at comment about my ass go
You can’t stop the amused smile from spreading across your face as you check the other text message, one from Kirishima this time.
Kiri 🥊: Hey! We’re about 15 minutes away- we'll be back around 18:32 PM
You: Kiri jesus christ- you tell me this now?!
Kiri: Sorry!!
You put your phone down, yelling at everyone to finish up and get back to the dorms as soon as possible, people scrambling around to put the finishing touches together before bolting out of the gym, you along with them.
Thankfully, you all made it back in time, flopping down on the couches just at the door opens to reveal a beaming Kirishima and a grumpy Katsuki.
The latter raises an eyebrow at all of you, sending a narrow-eyed glare at you.
“Why’re ya so outta breath?” He grunts suspiciously and you chuckle sheepishly in return.
“Mina challenged Kaminari and Sero to go a piggyback race against Todoroki and Iida.” You laugh, the lie rolling off your tongue as the others nod in agreement.
“We totally won.” Sero says smugly, and Todoroki sends him a confused look.
“But-”
Kaminari cuts him off, slinging his arm around the heterochromatic eyed boy nonchalantly. “It’s not winning if you use your quirk Todo-bro.”
Katsuki rolls his eyes, all interest in the conversation out the window, as he starts making dinner for everyone, something he started doing a while ago when he lost faith in 3-A's ability to not burn the kitchen down.
After you all settled down and ate, you and Katsuki returned to his room, making yourself comfortable in his bed as he joins you, pulling you close and letting his sore muscles melt into your embrace.
You, however, couldn’t force yourself to relax, your body buzzing with excitement as tomorrow would arrive.

mong [m·oŋ] vtr. depend on, rely on, trust for protection
Anonymous Request: I was wondering if you could do a Neteyam x f reader who grew up with/around the Sullys and Jake and Neteyam are protective of her. And then one day she walks into their tent or a gathering and just rushes into Neteyams arms and clings to him they are all worried. Neteyam comforts her and holds her while Jake tries to solve the problem?
1,551 words
My mother's grip on my upper arm was so tight that I knew it would leave bruises.
"You will do this," she hissed in my ear. "There is no other choice. Don't be foolish."
With much effort, I pulled my arm from her grasp and stumbled back, staring at her, horrified.
Before anyone else could speak, I ran.
--
"Was Y/N hunting today?" Jake Sully asked his eldest son as he and his family sat around a small fire, finishing up cleaning and drying their kills from the day.
"Yes," Neteyam replied.
Jake nodded, wiping off his knife. "You should have gone with her."
Neteyam sighed. He knew his father worried about Y/N, a girl - now woman - his age, and everyone knew why, but no one really said it.
Her parents were... unkind, and that was putting it lightly. He didn't think they'd ever put a hand on her, but even for Na'vi, they were harsh and unforgiving, and not for the sake of raising her right and keeping her safe in a dangerous world.
Just for the sake of being harsh. They didn't seem to like their own daughter very much, which confused the Sullys. She was kind, soft spoken, intelligent, and always supportive to her loved ones. There wasn't anything not to like about her.
Jake had watched her grow up, from a distance at first, and then encouraged his children to be friends with her. She'd latched to them immediately, and eventually to him and his wife as well, becoming almost a part of the family.
It seemed to be getting worse lately, and anytime she wasn't with the Sully family, the worry was there at the back of Jake's mind. He supposed he was really starting to think of her as a third daughter, and having her away from him for long periods of time caused him some anxiety.
He knew his oldest son felt a similar worry for the girl, but for entirely different reasons.
As if summoned by the mention of her name, Y/N burst through the door, causing every Sully head to turn her way. She breezed past everyone and threw herself right into Neteyam's arms, crying loudly, which was very uncharacteristic for her.
Jake jumped up immediately, and Neytiri ran to Neteyam's side, placing her hand on Y/N's back as she sobbed.
"What have they done now?" Jake huffed under his breath, wondering what kind of laws were in place that would allow him to punish her parents for the way they treated this poor, sad girl.
"What is it, child?" Neytiri asked, but Y/N was too upset to speak. Her breaths were coming in shallow gasps, and Neteyam looked to his mother and then his father with wide, panicked eyes.
Kiri joined the three of them on the floor, placing a hand on Y/N's back right next to her mothers. The two women in unison closed their eyes and began taking in deep breaths, low and slow, in and out.
It took a while, but Neteyam felt Y/N doing the same as she clung to him.
"There you go," Neteyam whispered, stroking her hair as she breathed. He had never seen Y/N so much as frown, none the less cry. No matter what she was put through, her dispositioned always remained sunny and calm. Something terrible must have happened.
"Tell us what happened," Neytiri said, and Y/N finally sat up, but Neteyam would not let her out of his arms. She had to turn, settling in his lap, with his arms crossed over her chest.
--
Even though I knew the Sullys had noticed that my parents were different, I had never spoken of it to them. What was the point? I could not change who my parents were. I could only keep my head down, be respectful, and hope to escape when I was older.
And now, I had been offered and escape, and I would rather die than accept it.
"They have... they are forcing me to mate with Marek," I said finally, and Neteyam's arms over my chest tightened, pulling my back into his chest, as Kiri gasped.
I cast my eyes downward, embarrassed at my outburst, and at burdening their family with this - but I didn't know where else to go.
"Marek is awful," Kiri whispered. "He's mean, and cruel, and he's..."
"Just like my father," I whispered, tears pricking at the corner of my eyes again. I looked up to Jake, the man I'd always wished had truly been my father, and the expression on his face was dark and malicious.
"This will not happen. Neteyam, with me, now."
Neteyam frowned, holding me tightly to him, but his father demanded he join him a second time, and they left without so much as a word.
Neytiri and Kiri held me tightly as Lo'ak and Tuk stood nearby, and I wished for the millionth time that I had been born into this family instead.
--
Netyeam and his father returned almost an hour later, very quiet, somewhat relieved and mostly nervous.
When they entered, Neytiri was braiding Y/N's hair while Kiri and Tuk sang softly by the fire. Lo'ak sat nearby, looking oddly out of place.
"Okay, well," Jake said as he entered, spreading his arms to the side. "I think we should give Neteyam and Y/N a little space to talk."
Y/N furrowed her brown. Netytiri squeezed her should and Kiri patted her on the knee before the entire Sully family, minus Neteyam, rose to leave.
Jake approached before he left, and put a hand on her shoulder. "We would never let anyone hurt you, Y/N, and we did what we thought was best to protect you... but nothing is set in stone. You get to decide your path."
Y/N tilted her head to the side, extremely confused and in the dark, but Jake left, leaving just Y/N and Neteyam there.
"Neteyam, tell me what's going on!" she said, and the two of them quickly approached each other, meeting in the middle of the tent.
"My dad and I, we went to speak to your parents and..." Neteyam cleared his throat. "On the way there, I told my father the truth, Y/N. I told him that there were many reasons I want you away from Marek, and your parents. I want you to be safe, and loved, and treated the way you deserve. And I want all this because I... I have been in love with you for a very long time."
Y/N was quiet before him, her face nearly expressionless, extremely hard to read, so Neteyam pressed on.
"We spoke to your parents and we made them an offer. I asked them for your hand. I asked their permission to be your mate."
Remaining stoic, Y/N's expression did not change. Neteyam reached out, taking her hands into his.
"If this is not what you want, you only have to tell me, and we will find a safe place for you. You will have the protection of your Olo'eyktan. Of my family."
Y/N opened her mouth, and then shut it again, and to his great horror, she was crying once more. Soft, quiet tears rolled from her eyes and down her cheeks.
He was prepared to tell her again, she didn't have to do anything she didn't want to do, when she took her hands from his, put them on either side of his face, and pulled his lips to hers.
--
I was frozen as Neteyam spoke. Not only had he saved me from my parents and from Marek, but he had somehow granted me the deepest desire of my heart? A hope that I had never spoken to a single soul?
For years, I had harbored a love for Neteyam, that only grew as we spent more time together.
He was standing before me now, offering me everything I'd ever wanted, and making it clear for the first time in my life, that I had complete control over my own destiny.
Overtaken by relief, gratitude and joy, all I could do was pull him to me in a long overdue kiss.
When I pulled away, Neteyam wiped the tears from my eyes.
"Is that... a yes?" he asked, and I had to laugh.
"Of course it is. And, Neteyam, please know this is not just to escape. I have loved you for a long time. We could have both saved each other some anguish by just admitting that a while ago."
Neteyam pulled me in for a tight hug, and I reveled in how completely safe I felt in his arms. I reveled in the joy of finally becoming a Sully. I reveled in the delight of never having to see my parents again if I didn't want to.
Soon, the tent was full of Neteyam's family once more, cheering, and crying a little, and celebrating.
Jake was the first to pull me into a hug, and he whispered in my ear. "I always knew you were meant to be my daughter, one way or another."
We smiled at each other, and the feeling of calm and safety grew, settling over all of us - and it would never disappear again.

Similar.
quick thought.. I have never seen this but what about a Polynesian!reader with Ronal and tonowari? Just think, they have similar tattoos and culture(mostly from Māori tho.)
warnings: none but fluff and maybe slight angst I can’t tell
read part 2 here !
should I make a sequel?
Tumblr media
(not my gif)
You waited outside of the marui as Norm and Max where discussing Kiri’s affects from the seizure. You heard loud stomping as you looked up to see the Tsahik of the clan, but quickly moved out the way, not wanting her to see you as you’re still scared of the large Na’vi species. You’re only the pilot for them after all. This is the first time you came here.
“I see that I am not needed here.” Ronal says after seeing all of the sky demon devices. “You are Tsahik.” Neytiri hisses out as she pulls her arm back, desperately looking at her to help her daughter. Ronal sighs and nods. “Get out! You have done nothing.” Neytiri hisses loudly at the sky demon and the avatar as they quickly gather their things and leave. “Ma Jake. Let the Tsahik handle this.”
Ronal sighs standing next to her mate. “This family is driving me insane.” She says rubbing her temple. Tonowari looks at her and mumbled something but something or someone caught Ronal’s eye. “Ronal?” Tonowari snaps her out of her gaze as she clears her throat. “Sorry I-“ she gets cut off by tonowari. “I’m sorry Ronal but you seem distracted, what’s wrong my mate? You can tell me.” Ronal beckons him to follow. They stop once they are near the sky demon ship. “Look. That demon has our tattoos.” They both look but catch eachothers tails swishing. “Oh great Eywa.” They say in unison.
(This takes place after Neteyam died ☹️ ⬇️)
“Hey norm! How did Kiris check up go?” You asked an annoyed Norm. “Terrible. Again! Jakes mate needs to stop kicking us out!” He says annoyed “well it’s very foreign to her, remember she isn’t an avatar like Jake, she’s real na’vi!” Max said. You nod your head agreeing, continuing the conversation but suddenly feel eyes burning into the back of your head and turn around, instantly regretting it as you see the Tsahik and Olo'eyktan of the clan. Quickly turning around and joining the conversation again with your face flushed “The Tsahik here scares the shit out of me man, she looks to serious and scary. I would get on my knees for her though..” you say out loud and laugh, getting weird looks from norm and max. you suddenly feel a tap on your shoulder and turn around and see them again.”oh shit you think they heard that??” You say is a panicked voice.“Oel ngati kameie Tsahik and Olo'eyktan. Is there anything I can help you with?” You say confused as to they are talking to you know after you’ve been here for awhile. “Yes, what is your name demon?” The woman says as her piercing eyes look into yours. “Uhm, y/n. Y/n L/n.” She hums looking down at your tribal tattoos and your thick wavy/curly long hair(poly boys also have long hair)”Well Y/n L/n, we need to talk to you. Now.” The man says in a deep voice giving you chills. “Oh uhm, yes of course.” You walk with them wondering what is it they need to talk to you about because this is the first time they interacted with you throughout the whole time of you coming here, they brought you to a little cave. You looked around scared and confused. But little do you know they’ve kept their eye on you.
“They definitely fucking heard me.”
that was my first writing!! Please leave any tips or something I might need to add due to this is my first time! Sorry if the grammar is bad and this is all over the place! English is not my first language! Tongan is !

Kinktober: Day 7
Blowjob
A/N: spoiler blowjobs aren't a thing in the metkayina in this fic, at least arent vocalized. Enjoy! Also can be seen as a prequel to Day 4 ;)
Pairing: Ao'nung x (fem) Omiticaya Sully
Warnings: use of good boy/good girl, teasing, nipple play, oral (m received), some slight face fuck, clit play on oneself, cum swallowing
¤¤¤
Tumblr media
Your friendship with Ao'nung had of course started off rocky. He was not so fond of your siblings, nor you, always picking on you or Kiri.
Where Kiri was more timid, you were the opposite. You were soft spoken, but hard around the edges. You would snort, chuckle or roll your eyes at his comments before coming up with a snarky reply.
He grew addicted to it, looking forward to an argument that he could have with you, and quite honestly, so did you.
And when he became nicer to you and your siblings, you kept that friendly rivalry and bickering going. You lit a fire in his veins, surprisingly.
So it came to little surprise to you when that fire became molten lava, twisting into certain feelings and desires that embarrassed you at first.
But luckily, one argument that had you playfully flirting as a reply had him blushing hot, giving you your answer. You had crowded against him at the next festival a few nights later, then dragging him off out onto the beach before kissing languidly on the sand. You introduced him to new things, new ways to hold one another in heated moments. New.. desires, honestly.
Which brought you to now.
You quickly tug him up the beach, grinning breathlessly as you head towards the hidden cove surrounded by rocks that you had found earlier in the week.
"Woah, hey, where are you taking me?" Ao'nung chuckles, following your lead.
"It's a surprise," you smirk back at him, dragging him further. He fondly rolls his eyes in response.
You finally arrive, grinning in victory, fists perked up on your hips as you smirk over at him,"Ta-da! Perfect place."
He chuckles, gazing around at the barren beach and the rocks covering a portion of the area, shielding whoever was on the other side from view.
He smirks over at you,"I found this when I was like, 12."
You frown, rolling your eyes before huffing out,"Shut up and climb to the other side," in a snarky tone, quickly scaling the small rock wall.
Ao'nung rolls his eyes once more before following you carefully. You're already on the other side and waiting for him on the sand when he reaches the top. He turns his back to you, climbing down and you snort.
"You're really bad at climbing," you chuckle.
"Hey do me a favor? Shut up," he huffs, shaking his head. He almost misses a stone, a sharp inhale being the only indication of the misstep before he sighs, feet finally hitting the sand,"Now why did you have me do that?"
You giggle innocently, blinking at him doe eyed,"I wanted to try something with you, wanted to be outside but still private. Thought this place would do perfect.."
"I feel like this thing you want to try is a terrible idea-"
"Ao'nung! Just- just trust me, ok? You'll love it I promise!" You press your hands to his pecs, pushing him backwards until he leans against a smooth stone. You grin up at him, cupping the sides of his neck and leaning up, kissing him sweetly then pulling back and teasing,"Be a good boy, yeah?"
He groans, ears flicking back before shutting up as you attach your lips to his neck, licking and nipping soft but careful to not leave any marks. You graze your hands over his chest before straight up cupping his pecs and giggling against his neck.
"Stop that- hey," he chuckles as well, taking your hands and moving them away from his chest.
"I was kidding, 'Nung," you press a wet kiss to his pec, grinning up at him with your tongue poking through your teeth. You keep your gaze on him, lolling your tongue out and licking languidly over his nipple. He jumps and shrinks in, or attempts to, but is met with the stone against his back.
"Do you like how it feels?" You ask seriously, hand lightly wringing free from his grasp to thumb gently over the other one.
"Uh- I.." He swallows, coughing lightly and shaking his head.
"Was that a no?" You pull back, ready to stop but he chokes out.
"No! It wasnt-" He clenches his eyes shut,"it wasn't a no, it did feel good. Just wasn't expecting it."
Your eyebrows shoot up in surprise before a grin stretches across your lips again and you lean back down, keeping eye contact as you lick broadly over his now hardened nipple. He shudders, head tilting back and he groans quietly. You continue to tease him there, even sucking over the bud and pinching the other one at the same time. He gasps, panting as he watches you blearily.
You switch to the other side, sucking hard over his nipple while flicking your tongue. You're surprised to feel him buck against you, cock already having unsheathed itself from his slit.
"Ooh?" You drift a hand down, ever so lightly grazing over his tewng covered cock. He clenches his jaw, huffing hard through his nose.
"Shut up," he pants, eyes half lidded in a hazy gaze.
"Ohh, come on now," you grip his cock firmly, stroking soft,"That's no way to treat someone being so nice to you."
His hands grip over some rocks on either side of him to stabilize himself as he pants, moaning lowly.
"Come on, where's my good boy at?" You purr, arousal coiling hot below your belly. You always loved the power switch you could do for eachother, even if briefly done in heated makeout sessions for the most part.
He pants, a low whine rising from his throat as he cringes in embarrassment,"Right- oh, right here, please-" He pants hard as your hand continues to stroke him over the cloth.
"There's my baby, hey," you lift your hand to tug at the ropes holding his tewng up,"You trust me, right?"
"Of course," he manages to choke out, eyes widening as you kneel before him, tugging his tewng off and down his firm legs. His cock nearly springs out, slapping against his stomach. You grin up at him, gently tracing down the prominent v-line down his stomach and tracing down his thighs. You lean in, kissing the skin softly and sucking a hickey into the skin next to his cock. He jolts, hips bucking forward.
You then wrap your hand around his length, jerking lightly at first and making a rhythm for yourself. Nice and slow, thumbing over the tip until its sticky with pre. You pop your thumb against your tongue, keeping your eyes of his as you swallow lewdly.
He groans, head tilting back, but he jumps, yelping.
You had grabbed the base of his cock, aiming the head to your mouth and sticking your tongue out, hot breath fanning out. You gingerly pressed the tip to your tongue, curling it around the cockhead and grinning through your eyes at his shocked look.
"Wait- ah! Hey, oh, Eywa!" Ao'nung whines, knees buckling and swallowing hard but he presses his palm against your forehead to hold you back.
You choke on a laugh,"Ao'nung! Hey, wait-"
"You wait!" He wheezes, staring down at you as if you were crazy,"Were you planning to bite me? The only thing the women have done here with their mouths is kiss and make the mating bite!"
"I'll bite you elsewhere but not on your dick, jeez-" you roll your eyes before firmly stroking his cock, grinning cheekily up at him,"Just, please trust me? It'll feel good, I promise.. let me give my good boy some pleasure?"
He gulps hard, thinking until his ears flick back and he nods, blush hot on his cheeks as he lets go of your head.
You grin in delight and dive in with no hesitation, wrapping your lips around his tip and swirling your tongue.
"Oh!-" He whines, hips already bucking against you.
You lift your free hand, holding him by his hip to keep him still as you bob your head down his length. You curl your tongue on the underside, dragging and rolling against the flesh while keeping your eyes on his heaving chest, clenching eyes and wanton moans.
You keep bobbing your head, up and down, saliva leaking from your mouth but you couldn't care less; you were enjoying this way too much already, you could feel how wet you were but you didn't care again, wanting nothing more than to give your boy this pleasure.
You moan around his cock then suck in a sharp gasp as he bucks hard enough out of your grasp, cockhead roughly hitting the back of your throat. You yank yourself off, coughing slightly.
"I'm- I'm sorry, tiyawn, I-" He stumbles, but you shake your head.
Your voice has a rasp that sends a hot shiver down his spine,"Sit still, I'll tell you when to move, ok baby?"
He only nods in response, any words being swallowed by the whimper turning into an open mouthed moan as you grip him, quickly enveloping his cock in your mouth. This time however, you force yourself further down his length, testing your limits more and more. The wet noises are thankfully stifled by the mid-afternoon waves of the ocean. He leans heavily into the stones behind him, knees growing weak with the ever-growing pleasure.
After consistently working yourself further and further down his length, much to your delight, your nose finally presses firmly against his navel. You breath through your nose and work the muscles in your throat to massage his length and the loud moan that is torn from his throat has your tail flicking up, cunt nearly pulsing with need.
You pull off of him completely, ignoring the whimper,"You think you've been good?"
He struggles to catch his breath, nodding shakily.
You grin,"I think you have been, too." Then you're gripping his hands and pressing them to your hand, giving him the reigns wordlessly. You keep your eyes on his as you wrap your lips around the tip before taking his entire length into your throat, only to stay still, waiting.
He swallows hard, breathing shakily as he tangles his fingers into your hair and drags your head back only to drag you back down, a delightful sting hitting your scalp.  He bows in on himself, whimpering breathlessly, then creates a steady rhythm, hips lazily rolling his cock into your mouth and throat.
The gaze he has down on you is filthy and he just wants to make a mess of you.
It's then that you decide, what with him doing all the work, to quickly shove your fingers into your tewng to roughly rub at your swollen clit.
He keeps thrusting himself into you, hips bucking harder and harder, becoming more and more erratic and sloppy. His noises have you groaning around him and causing it to vibrate down his cock, to which he thrusts hard enough to have tears leaking from your eyes.
He moans pathetically, not even bothering to attempt to mute the oh, please! So so good, uhhhhn, from his lips and your fingers cramp as you rub between your folds harder. You swallow weakly around his cock, and he whimpers, gripping your hair harder and dragging you down until your nose presses against his navel once more.
"Oh- oh, I can't, mmph," he spasms,"Ah! Thankyouthankyou-"
You're held down firmly as he cums hot and heavy down your throat, to which you automatically swallow happily. It feels as though it lasts a solid minute, and you blink blearily up at him in tearful delight at his face. He's blushing so cute, ears pinned back and fangs bared in a pleasure filled grimace.
He holds you there even after he finishes and your vision begins to get hazy. You've since stopped the rubbing on your clit, shuddering softly.
"Good girl," he whispers quietly, blinking lazily down at you. He pulls you off, groaning at the sight of you sucking at him so greedily.
As soon as he pulls out completely, you gasp for breath, coughing and swallowing thickly.
He slumps to the sand, panting for breath. You two stay like that for a few until he drops his forehead against your shoulder.
"Good boy," you speak with an even more raspy tone, grinning weakly. He kisses your shoulder in response, a faint grin against his mouth.
"I now have better reason to work on the breathing exercises," you giggle, still panting.
He snorts,"You cannot be serious."

hii mwah mwah ur writing literally have me kicking my feet in the air 😭😭😭 i was wondering if you could write like a rotxo one cause hes SO UNDERRATED, one where he like gets tired of aonung picking on the reader because shes from the omatikaya clan and decides to defend her against aonung and like somehow make it seem obvious they have a crush on each other idk BUT THE IDEA IS SO CUTE FOR ME
Maybe it was the way Rotxo remembered you and your name when none of his friends did or the way he was always looking for you when you were absent from your daily lessons with them, but Ao’nung started noticing his odd behavior.
While Ao’nung poured the negative contents of his heart out, Rotxo was hesitant to tease you for how terrible of a diver you were when you first swam with them.
He had always been the least mean out of the group, but this was something else. He was willing to keep his mean comments to a minimum with your siblings, but when it came to you, he was actually nice.
What’s worse was that your enthusiasm often spurred him on and it became sickening for Ao’nung and the others to just watch their friend being so engaged in a conversation with you.
“Hey, what’s gotten into you?”
“Huh?”
“Snap out of it. Can’t you see that they’re weird,” Ao’nung nodded his head towards where you sat in the sand beside Kiri who had her head dipped in the shallow water. Rotxo was doing his best in attempts to suppress his discontent from how tiring Ao’nung was with the way he treated you.
“Just- let’s just leave them alone,” Rotxo suggested a bit too pleadingly.
“Look at them. Why do you even like her?”
“I do not.” Ao’nung scoffed and harshly patted his back. Rotxo could feel the smirk on his face as Ao’nung dragged him towards you with an arm around his shoulder.
“Hey,” you heard Ao’nung call out from behind. “What is she doing?”
When you turned your head to the source of the voice, you saw Rotxo standing uncomfortably beside Ao’nung, eyes looking everywhere but at you.
“What?”
“Your sister.”
“Ao’nung- come on, let’s just go-“ Rotxo urged, lightly pushing him back by the shoulder.
“You all keep getting weirder and weirder each day.” Ao’nung bent down to seize your wrist and the harsh movement seemed to get Kiri’s attention and anger Rotxo even more. “Freak.”
“Hey! That’s enough,” Kiri spoke up when she finally realized what was going on.
When you winced from Ao’nung tugging on your hand, it looked like he finally managed to pull on his friend’s strings. Rotxo stepped forward and shoved Ao’nung’s hand away from yours.
“Stop.”
Ao’nung’s smirk only grew at the newfound reaction from his friend and stepped back in surrender. The Metkayina took time to ruffle Rotxo’s feathers even more by hitting the back of his head teasingly as he walked away from the scene.
“Sorry about that.” Rotxo’s heart sank when he saw you looking dejected from Ao’nung’s actions. “He wouldn’t listen to me.”
“It’s fine.”
“You’re no freak you know. Just different,” he assured, kneeling down in front of you while Kiri silently watched the interaction taking place in front of her.
Rotxo hesitated his next move when he got no response from you. His whole body was screaming at him to just get it over with, but his mind kept nagging at him to stop. Yet his hand had a mind of its own when it reached out to grasp yours in emphasis of his statement.
“Thanks Rotxo.” His heart threatened to leap out of its cage, but most of all, he felt terrible. Your dejected self was a contrast to the usual passion and energy he loved so much about you.
“Come on.” The boy tugged on your hand to bring you to stand, and then he remembered your sister still there. “Can I borrow her?”
“All yours,” she answered before going back to dive in the water.
“Where are we going?”
“It’s a surprise.”

Kirishima Comes Home To Reader Drunk Off His Ass
Tumblr media
Kirishima Eijirou x GN Reader
Tags: Established relationships, alcohol consumption, pet names (Reader calls Kiri ‘honey’, Kiri calls Reader ‘babe’), fluff, spice 🌿 832 words
A/N: This drabble actually belongs to a Kiri x OC fic I’m working on. Not sure if I’ll ever manage to finish it enough to even post the first chapter so I rewrote this part to fit a GN Reader. If I left in any fem pronouns please let me know!
Tumblr media
You were jerked out of your sleep when the front door slammed, then someone shushed it loudly.
Groaning at the rude awakening, you rolled over to check the time. Eijirou was finally home from his agency’s New Year’s celebration, and it sounded like he was drunk off his ass. Turning on the bedside lamp, you got up with a heavy sigh; when he got this drunk he usually needed help getting into bed. Thankfully you only had to deal with his drunk, stubborn ass once or twice a year.
You found him sitting on the floor by the entryway, trying - and failing - at pulling his shoes off.
“Hey,” you mumbled, rubbing your face.
Eijirou looked up at you with a bright, toothy smile. “Hiya!”
Crouching next to him, you pointed at his shoes. “Y’know it might work better if you untied them first.”
“Oh.”
“Do you need help?”
“Naw, I got this!”
He finally managed to get his shoes off and got to his feet, swaying. You eyed him suspiciously. “How much did you drink?”
“Jus’ a lil’ bit. About… thiiiis much!” he giggled, holding his thumb and index finger up about two millimeters apart.
You sighed again, looping an arm around his back. “You’re such a pain when you’re drunk.”
“Am not! At least I don’t get angerey, like Ba-*hic*-hakugou.”
“Mhm. Let’s get you to bed, honey.”
He shushed you. “We gotta be quiet, my partner’s prob’ly asleep.”
You couldn’t help but smile. This was the first time he had been drunk enough to not recognize you. “Is that so?”
“Yeah! They need their sleep, they work wa-hay too hard.” He let out another giggle. “They’re super-super-duper cute when they sleep. Have you ever met them?”
“No, I haven’t.”
“Well, you should!”
When the two of you made it to the bedroom, Eijirou flopped down on the bed, then pointed at the oversized Red Riot shirt you were wearing. “Hey, that’s me!! I didn’t realize you were a fan!”
You had trouble hiding your smirk. “One might even say I’m your biggest fan.”
“Oh, cool! It’s nice to meet ya.”
“Yeah, likewise.” You reached for his belt buckle but he pushed your hands away.
“Whoa, what are you doing?!”
“C’mon, Ei, I wanna go back to sleep. You’re gonna get too warm if you keep your jeans on.”
You reached out again, but this time he grabbed onto your wrists, keeping them away from him. “I don’t want--”
“Ei, stop. That’s not what I’m trying to--”
“No! I’m sure you’re a very, v-very nice person, but I really love my partner!”
“Ei, I AM your partner.”
He blinked up at you for a moment, then his face split into a brilliant grin. “Oh hey, babe! When did you get here?”
You had to fight not to laugh at his change of mood. If you did, he’d never agree to go to sleep.
“I’ve been here all night,” you said.
“Really? D’you know who runs this place? ‘Cos the service here is terrible. One of the staaffff won’t stop hitting on me even though I keep saying no.”
You pulled your hands out of his grip and reached for his belt again. “How awful. Let’s get you to bed.”
“I’d love to, babe, but I think I’m a teensy bit too drunk for that.”
You finally managed to pull his pants off. Straddling him, you set to work on the buttons of his dress shirt. He sat up and kissed you sloppily, one hand at the back of your head, the other kneading your behind. The rank taste of old alcohol filled your mouth.
“I thought you were too drunk for that,” you coughed when he finally let you breathe.
“Well… I can give it a try since you keep in-- insssh-- inshisishting.”
You pushed the dress shirt over his shoulders, leaving him in a white t-shirt. “I’d rather not. Just go to sleep already.”
“Only if you join me!” Wrapping strong arms around you, he let himself fall backwards with yet another giggle. He started pressing wet, open-mouthed kisses against your neck then abruptly stopped.
“Ei?”
You were met with a soft snore. Sighing once more, you shuffled around in his tight grip to turn off the lights and pull the covers over the two of you. He really was the worst, most endearing drunk.
Tumblr media
When you got up the next morning, Eijirou was still fast asleep. As soon as you left the bed, he reached out for you. When he couldn’t find you, he instead grabbed your pillow, burrowing his face into it. You heard him mumbling something about a teapot battle.
Checking up on him an hour later, a bottle of water and painkillers in hand, you found him with your pillow thrown over his face. He shifted the pillow a smidge, glancing up at you with blurry, red-rimmed eyes.
“Could you tell the sun to shut up?” he wheezed, voice gravelly. “‘S too loud for me.”

Leave him alone leave us all alone (3)
Tumblr media
Regret and worry had become feeling of the village since the discovery, of the metekayian clan olo'eythan eldest daughter. The two clans had already been worried about toruk makto eldest son, but now that worry had been passed onto the girl who had been blamed for everything. Regret and worry had been felt by the parents and sibling, and it had been felt by the sully family as well. Regret and worry will be felt forever for the actions that had been placed.
mo'at " please great mother hear my pray help this child, one of your children who in needed of your help please great mother" mo'at was praying for the recovery of angi as she still laid there sleeping.
norm " her heart rate and brain waves are still the same no change"
mo’at “ angi you can’t leave the world like this”
Max “ this is terrible all around we were all worried about neteyam, that none of us checked on her and now look where it got us”
mo’at “ angi is a girl with pure heart and spirt of warrior she will fight this”
norm “ what if she chose not to fight what if it not up to her to decide” silence had filled the room as the three adults were looking at the teen girl, who hadn't woken up yet. Most of the night mo'at had stayed up watching over the girl hoping she will wake up, but the only movement the girl did was breath but her breaths are very low.
norm " how bad did we allow this to get"
mo'at " bad enough for her to be in this state and for us to be in this waiting game for her to awaken"
norm " the children seem torn up about everything last night"
max " they are all close to her and I'm start to think that regret what they said"
mo'at " yes it seems like they true but did regret come to late"
????? " grandmother" the three adults soon turned around and saw, the kids standing there. Kiri and tsireys to holding basket of food while rotxo was holding a jug of water.
neteyam " we came to see how angi was doing"
norm " you should be resting neteyam you were hurt as well"
neteyam " yes I was hurt but I'm not the one who got badly hurt saving someone else from death and now laying down in deep sleep or coma"
mo'at " let them stay it will be good to have more company and maybe the present of her sibling and friends will help" the kids were soon allowed to step into the room, as they place the stuff down that they brought.
kiri " we brought some food and water for you grandmother and angi"
lo'ak " will she be able to eat or drink"
mo'at " she able to drink but I don't think sold food will do her well, only soups"
tsireya " sister please wake up you can't be like this we need you I need you"
rotxo " here some water for her make sure she drinks it" tsireya had taken the cup, and made sure angi could drink it safely.
rotxo " hey sister I'm here as well you have to wake up and stay to meet our new baby sibling, they going to need you as we need you"
tuk " angi will be okay right grandma"
mo'at " yes sweetie she will be fine we just need her to wake up"
tuk " angi it me tuk I want you to wake up please so we can play again"
kiri " we all need her"
spider " dad she is okay"
norm " yes son she will be okay we just need to wait we are make sure she getting all the help she can"
lo'ak " I hate this waiting game"
neteyam " lo'ak"
lo'ak " sorry I just hate all the talk that going around today, everyone has been saying their own opinions on angi right now"
kiri" everyone seems worried about her she in a worst state then I was in" the group was quite was they are sitting in the room waiting for anything to change. Soon the sound of someone arriving towards the entrance had gotten everyone attention, everyone soon looked up to see the four adults
Tonowari " hello everyone" ronal didn't say anything as she made her way towards her daughter, soon sitting down and looking at her daughter.
ronal " she looks so peaceful"
tsireya " don't worry mom everything will be fine angi a fighter she will wake up and everything will be fine"
ronal " ma daughter if you can hear me please wake up your family and clan still need you"
tonowari " she will awake up ronal our daughter will return home to us"
Jake " kids the adults need to talk right now you all should of hangout or play for some being"
lo'ak " dad we wish to stay here with angi she will do the same of us heck she has done the same for kiri and tried to do the same for neteyam"
Jake " lo'ak I'm not going to fight you right now it best if you all leave this is an adult conversation, you all are still kids"
Kiri " we will be able to see her later"
Jake " yes you all can"
tuk " oh okay angi we will be back shortly to come see you" all the other kids had gotten up after saying goodbye to angi, but neteyam still stayed.
Jake " neteyam you need to leave it okay"
neteyam " I wish to stay I don't wish to leave until I know she okay"
Jake " son please"
neteyam " angi please come back to us don't leave me don't leave us" neteyam didn't care who heard what he had just said and how they took his words.
tsireya " we will return sister"
rotox " yes we will be back" the kids had soon bid their goodbye to angi they hated on how, they didn't get a reply back from her. The kids soon left the aura of the room had become even more worried and sad.
Jake " max give it to us straight about angi condition"
max " if she doesn't wake up soon we might have to declared her ..."
tonowari " declare she what human tell us"
max " we might have to come to terms that she will die"
ronal " no she to young she can't leave this world so young"
max " we will do everything we can but that the end of day we can't control death and life as well"
neytiri " no"
mo'at " sadly it true"
ronal " she so young she has so much to live for we can't lose one of children"
tonowari " don't worry ronal will fins out a way and save our daughter"
ronal " yes" ronal had placed a hand on age forehead as she looks at her daughter, lay there and just sleep.
ronal "please great mother hear my pray and save our daughter"
Jake " none of the children were able to sleep last night they had become overwhelmed with worry and fear"
tonowari " either tsireya and rotxo could sleep as well, they didn't see that good this morning as well"
mo'at " she their sister and friend she very important to them, and she seem to be a different type of importance to neteyam" the four adults looked confused by mo'at words.
tonowari " what do you mean"
mo'at " if you can't tell by he was the one closer to her and wish to stay and almost fought you on that, then the words he said you are all blind and deaf fools"
ronal " how ...."
mo'at " enough no more fighting"
Jake " I know this not the time but the meeting will be happening soon we need to attend to protect our clans and families, we have to do this for the safety of everyone"
tonowari " Jake is right"
ronal " tonowari"
tonowari " we need to be there for our people our daughter a fighter will be come see her later, and maybe we can find out a way to save her as well"
norm " we will stay and watch over here and come to tell you if anything bad happens, we will make sure she stays safe"
max " yes we will stay with her until your return or mo'at return"
tonowari " thank you" all the adults had looked expect mo'at had left leaving her alone with the humans.
mo'at " angi if you can hear what had been heard please fight or see what had happened to you ... I don't know if the great mother is testing you or us but she most have something planned... but please fight and overcome this challenge that had been placed on you I believe in you child"
mo'at " oh great mother please take care of angi whatever the outcome this event might have on us" mo'at soon left the room leaving the humans alone with angi, everyone had some hope that angi will wake up and that she will be fine but there was also some fear and worry that angi will never wake up.

The Courting Gift
Summary: Lo'ak asks about a strange piece of art Ao'nung has in his marui
Pairing: Ao'nung x Neteyam
Word Count: 805
Notes: Just something I posted on Tumblr but decided to expand on because I really like it
Tumblr media
Lo’ak walks into Ao’nung’s marui with Tsireya like usual for their monthly dinner. A year or two after Neteyam’s return to Eywa, Ao’nung passed his rite of passage, allowing him to move into his own marui. Ever since, Lo’ak and Tsireya have come over for these dinners, which normally include Kiri and Rotxo but those two are running late.
In the meantime, Lo’ak wanders Ao’nung’s marui. Something, he’s never really had the opportunity to do. Looking at the different animal skins and decorations across the walls. While looking at them, Lo’ak finds something a little different among the decorations.
“Ao’nung, what’s this?” Lo’ak asks as he points towards the choker hung neatly on the wall like a display piece. It had obviously been crafted well, looking almost like a courting gift. The craftsmanship, while not up to Omaticaya standard, is above normal Metkayina. Knowing Ao’nung’s weaving skills, it probably took weeks, if not months to make.
Ao’nung’s shoulders tense. “I made it for someone,” he explains, not giving much detail. Lo’ak stares back at the choker. The intricate details seem to be unique to whoever Ao’nung had made it for.
“Did they not accept?” Lo’ak asks confused. Hanging up a piece of a failed relationship on the wall is strange but Lo’ak doesn’t judge, he’s just curious as to why. Tsireya slaps his arm slightly for overstepping. Though Ao’nung does answer.
“No, they did,” Ao’nung says as he walks over to the choker. Lo’ak watches as Ao’nung brushes off the dust and sand. Ao’nung looks at it almost sentimental like a dream you don’t want to wake from.
“Oh, then why is it on the wall?” Tsireya asks, not having expected that answer. Ao’nung’s posture falls. His lips in a tight line.
“This is the second courting necklace I gave him,” Ao’nung explains, somehow a small smile forming on his face. “The one that I began courting him with was terrible, but he still took it. After that I spent weeks secretly learning to weave better. I wanted to surprise him for his birthday,” Ao’nung says, his smile turning into a sullen look as he continues to stare at the necklace.
“Why does he not have this one then? It’s beautiful,” Tsireya asks curiously.
“He returned to Eywa before I could give it,” Ao’nung answers. No fault in his voice except for the grief in his eyes. He sighs, finally looking away from the choker like it’s too painful to continue to do.
Tsireya gasps. “Oh, I’m sorry-”
“Don’t be,” Ao’nung says cutting her off. “I’ve asked and I doubt he would even wear it.” A beat silence passes through the three of them before Ao’nung continues, “His spirit still wears the first one.”
Tumblr media
A few days later, Lo’ak goes for his visit to Neteyam. He normally goes every month or so. It’s a habit he started shortly after Neteyam’s passing. The visits don’t need to be long, most times Lo’ak’s there for less than ten minutes. He simply just wishes to know his brother’s spirit is doing well.
Hopping on a tsurak, Lo’ak rides to the spirit tree, the route is ingrained in his memory. He doesn’t even really think about how to get there.
Once he arrives, the soft glow of the tree illuminates the water. It’s nice, comforting even, to see. He takes a moment to appreciate it before slipping off of his tsurak and into the water. Lo’ak leaves his tsurak to swim freely in the lagoon, he trusts them enough to not wander too far.
Slowly, Lo’ak swims his way into the water. He carefully takes hold of a branch and connects to it. A feeling of nostalgia washes over him as usual.
When he opens his eyes, Lo’ak sees the forests. The place Neteyam’s spirit is always. The trees are high, and the sun shines just slightly through all the branches. It looks exactly like Lo’ak remembers it.
Neteyam soon appears, climbing down from a tree. Lo’ak’s not sure whether it’s Eywa’s doing or Neteyam’s, but Neteyam looks older. The age he should be. He’s aged like he should have if he were still living.
“Lo’ak,” Neteyam says happily, throwing his brother a toothy grin. “For what do I owe this visit?” he asks as always.
“I just missed you,” Lo’ak replies like he usually does.
“I’ve missed you too.”
Lo’ak opens his mouth once more to speak when something catches his eye. Around Neteyam’s neck is a choker. It’s looser fitting, messily woven though in some parts it looks like someone really tried, there’s also shells attached to it. A courting gift. The courting gift.
“Where did you get your choker?” Lo’ak asks, but in his heart, he already knows the answer.
Neteyam smiles softly, touching his hand to the choker. “Someone very dear gave it,” he answers.

Something smutty or ‘dramatic’ happens
Summary: so basically you get kidnapped by quaritch and since you didn’t want to give any information quaritch decides to take something else.
You lo’ak, kiri, spider, and tuk were going to the battle field where jake sully and quaritch fought. “Guys I really think we shouldn’t be here” you sighed. “I think she’s right Lo’ak you’re already In enough trouble” kiri agreed. Lo’ak stopped and turned to you both. “Come on kiri and y/n stop being like that, besides wouldn’t it be fun to see this place?” lo’ak said joyfully. You sighed and kept walking next to kiri knowing you guys shouldn’t be anywhere near this place. You guys we getting close until you noticed these other navi ?. They had guns and was fully dressed in camou. This couldn’t be good. Lo’ak Informed his dad about the situation. All of a sudden lo’ak warned us to leave and rushed us to get up. As we were escaping the other Navi jumped in and captured all of us. One of the Navi pulled Lo’ak by his main braid causing him a lot of pain. A bigger Navi amongst the rest walked up to Lo’ak. He asked him a few questions but I couldn’t hear properly because of the rough pulling of my hair.
The Navi behind me was tugging at my main braid yelling at me to be quiet. The bigger Navi amongst them all pulled out what seemed to be some dash cam footage. It was when jake and quaritch battled. The bigger Navi had a expression that described sadness and fear. All of a sudden everyone goes quiet because of the sound of rustling. You and everyone else heard neytiri’s call. All of you looked at each other and immediately knew what was going on. You saw one of neytiri’s arrows pierce one of the navis head and was quick to attack. You managed to get away and run along a branch with spider. You lost your footing and fell along with Spider. You both were sent rolling down the hill. You hit ur head on a branch and became unconscious. You and spider were abducted. You were pulled into a helicopter and was flown to an unknown location.
You woke up in a empty room with a on a bed in a very bland room. You saw a table and and two chairs surrounded it. You had a terrible fucking headache. You went to rub ur head but found your arm was cuffed to the bed. You groaned and laid you head again the pillow. And tried to fall back asleep. You heard the door open and saw the familiar Navi walk in. You sat up and moved against the wall quickly. Barring you fanges at the unknow Navi. “Woah, calm down sweetness..” the Navi said softly. He sat on the large bed. “There’s nothing to be afraid of.” He moved a little closer. “That is if you tell me what I wanna hear.” You knew exactly what he meant by that. And you weren’t saying a single thing. “Now be a good lil thing and tell me where jake sully is.” he said trying to sound as nice as possible. You were way to loyal to him him and his family has done alot for you and you definitely wasn’t gonna break. You lidded you eyes and stared straight at him. He gripped you other arm and yanked you forward becoming face to face with the unknown Navi. He took a deep breath and asked you.
“How about you tell me you name cupcake?.” “Y/n…” you mumbled. “I’m colonial miles quaritch”. “But you can call me sir-” “Please don’t hurt me I don’t know any thing you might as well just let me go. I have no use to you.” You interrupted . He hummed in amusement and moved back a little. What was he going to do with you? The worst things imaginable popped up into you head. He took off his vest, tank top and his boots and got fully on the bed. You looked up at him with wide eyes and tensed up a little. You could help but notice how cut he was under all that gear. “You like what u see princes?” You face heated up a little at the name. You looked away in embarrassment. “Come on let me see this pretty eyes of yours.” Your face heated up one more. “What are u going to do to me..?” You asked so innocently. He chuckled at the thought and pushed you down all the way on your back as he towered over you. “Such a pretty face….I wonder how pretty you would look after I cummed on it..” Your pressed your legs together at his words. What did he mean by this. All of this is so confusing.
You’ve been talked to about sex but this was something way different. You felt a drop in you stomach. He looked down at ur legs. “Oh hoho u liked that didn’t you. You dirty little thing.” Tears welled up in your eyes trying to figure out what was going on. And why you felt like this. He pried you legs open and spread them. Your lioncloth was the only thing covering your sex. The Leather and feathers covering up your breast. You looked so tasty. Just for the taking. Tears rolled down your checks. “Oh don’t cry sweetness. The fun as just begun.” He said will a huge grin. He ripped off you top and loincloth. You were bear. Your eyes wander to his bulge. Practically trying to jump out of his pants at you, twitching against you thigh. “Fuck” he whisper to himself. He unbuckled his belt and turned you on you stomach. He lifted your hips and put his hand on you back to make you arch. You were completely exposed to him. You slick covering most of your sex. “What a pretty pussy you have sweetness” he took his thumb and slid it up and down your sex.
You put your face into the pillow to suppress you moan from his touch. “Hey.” He pulled at you tail. Let me hear you or I might just have to spank you.” You shiver at his words. He takes his middle finger and teases your small hole before slowing penetrating you. You moaned never feeling this rush through your body. “ Ha if you like that just wait till I show u something better.” You wonder what he meant by that’s. Was he gonna fuck you? What he gonna torment you like this for answers? What did he want?. He added another finger which made you arch even more. “Fuckkk” you moaned. He curled his fingers inside of you hitting that one sweet spot inside of you. You felt a knot become in you stomach. You were going to cum soon. Before could even get another thought in he removed his fingers. Just when you thought it was over he took of his cammies. And revealed his huge erection restrained by he underware. He laughed at you surprised expression. “Told ya I had something better than fingers.” He smiled.
Your eyes were unintentionally widened. You watched him as he removed his underwear. It slapped against his stomach with a bounce. It had a slight curve to the right with a few veins along it. You tried to move, trying to escape his grip. He held you a little more tightly. “Heh your not going anywhere anytime soon sweetness.” How did you even get yourself here? All be cause you list your footing on that branch? You wouldn’t be here now if we’re paying attention. More tears started to fall from your cheeks as you thought. “Oh baby don’t cry. It will be over soon. I promise.” He aligned himself with your sex, spreading it with his tip. You froze praying that it wouldn’t hurt to bad. He slowly pushed the tip in,slowly trying to let you adjust to his size. “Please don’t hurt me demon..” you manage to say. He tugged at your tail once more. “What did I tell you to call me.” “I’m sorry sir…” “Good girl.” He push a little more inside of you, forcing out a moan from you. Second by second he pushed a little more into you. “Your so fucking tight,I should make this pussy all mine..” he trailed of as he was close to bottoming out.
You were a mess already. Still crying but face flushed a deep purple because of the stretch of his cock. You know that you should be trying to break free of his grasp and attempt to escape. But it felt oh to good. You gripped the sheets of the bed trying to keep your balance. You kept leaning to one the right and tho left, basically swaying. He let go of your tail and placed his other hand on the other side of your hip. Showing your pathetic attempt to keep you balance. He pulled out, only leaving the tip is for a moment just to slam back into within an instant. A loud moan escaped your mouth, causing both of you to groan at the sudden action. “Fuck baby your squeezing me so fucking tight, you make me wanna cum already.” He started to pick up the pace maintaining a rhythm that already had you dripping down your legs. You laid you chest against the bed, wanton moans coming from you. “Sir please.” “Please what sweetness?, come on tell me what you want. ” He knew exactly what you wanted but he wanted to hear you say it he wanted you to say the filth that came to you mind.
How bad he wanted to corrupt you. This sweet girl who is just to nice and would do anything for the people she loves. Would never break the rules and would never disobey anyone.
“I want you to go faster..please sir.” You breathlessly said. “See that all you had to saw sweetness. It wasn’t that hard was it?” he said sitting up. “No sir.” He adjusted his hands on your waist and started to pick up the pace while fucking you. It was so much,he was just to big. You could barely take it. After a couple of moments the knot in your stomach started to come back but more Intense. Your legs started to tremble. “About to cum already we just got started?” He said mockingly. He lifted up his left leg just to get a little deeper inside you. “AH.” You screamed as you came all over his cock and your thighs. “Shit” he said chasing his own release. You just felt way to good. Your walls already squeezing him and now since you came he was on edge. You on the other hand was overstimulated. He leaned back down with his chest against your back and rubbed messy circles around your sensitive clit.
Not to soon after you collapsed onto the bed filled up with quaritchs seed. You were his now mated for life. Now you really couldn’t go back home especially not pregnant. Lo’ak and kiri would never look at you the same.

Sin of Purity, Purity of Sin: Part XVI
previous masterlist
see end note for content warning
Growling into the coarse rag that filled his mouth, Anden tugged angrily at the ropes holding his arms suspended by the wrists. But as always, he was powerless to do anything but watch as a sobbing Kiri was half-carried back to the inner chamber, leaving a trail of water in her wake. He couldn’t even feel relieved that her part of the ritual was over, not when Edric was the one dragging her to her cell. The thought of her alone with that bastard, even for the few moments it took to cut her bonds loose, made his vision go red.
Of course, he knew wouldn’t have to think about it for long. He’d soon be in too much pain to think of anything at all.
With mounting dread, he watched as Emitis opened one of the cabinets lining the wall. After an endless moment, the High Priest selected a tool Anden hadn’t seen in months: a scourge of multiple thin, knotted cords attached to a single handle. At first glance it looked less intimidating than the whips or knives Emitis most often chose. But fastened to the end of each strand was a small stone, the edges harsh and jagged. There was a reason this particular instrument was used so sparingly; Anden’s knees nearly buckled as he remembered how little of his skin he’d been left with the last time.
The horribly familiar sense of shame rose up within him like bile. He hated this—he hated being so damn scared.
Forcing a scowl, he glared as the High Priest turned to him, but the man only smiled and stepped out of his line of sight. Though it was probably for the best that Anden’s words were lost into his gag when he told Emitis exactly where he could put that scourge handle, Anden still hated that he had no control over even his speech. But he knew that he’d be grateful for the thick cloth that cleaved his jaw soon enough—it was much safer to have something to bite down on other than his own tongue.
From behind him, Emitis declared, “You may begin.”
That night’s worshipper was a thin, reedy little duke, who’d spent his entire prayer of gratitude attentively observing Kiri’s torture as if she was the specimen of some scholarly study. Now he turned his attention to Anden, and began the prayer of confession in a bored drawl. But there was an ill-concealed fascination in his gaze that shone all the stronger as he reached the end of the first stanza.
“—that I may be deserving of my place in Ilyrna, the kingdom of Your rule.”
With an ugly thwack, the scourge fell upon Anden’s back, ripping through tunic and flesh alike. The pain struck hard and fast like lightning, before settling into a low, steady fire. A muffled groan escaped him, despite his best efforts to hold it in.
The duke continued reciting the prayer in a monotone, but his eyes gleamed with interest. The worshippers who paid for these private rituals were usually the kind of devout zealots who truly believed in all this bullshit; they paid Anden no real mind except as an object to be used in their prayers. It was always discomfiting, to be ignored as less than human. But to be seen, really seen, when he was strung up and bleeding and so fucking helpless, was so much worse.
The fierce burning down his back was almost a welcome distraction.
That’s what he tried to tell himself, at least, but his heart was racing in panicked anticipation as the second stanza drew to a close. Schooling his face into a neutral expression, he bit down hard on the gag and braced himself.
It was a terrible game he always played, refusing to react the way these sick bastards must want him to. It was a game he could never win; he knew that far too soon his screams would be ripped from him as violently as the skin was ripped from his back. But it was a game he had to play. He couldn’t just lose without a fight—he couldn’t give anyone that satisfaction.
The duke, though, was watching his attempts at stoicism with the same fascination as he had Kiri’s terrified cries. And Anden realized that whether he held himself together for another blow or fell apart, this man would enjoy himself either way. Anden had lost the game before it had even begun.
Another strike—the flash of white-hot pain drew out a low, anguished cry. He couldn’t get his feet back under him, and he couldn’t stop shaking, and he couldn’t hide how pathetic he was. It didn’t matter—it didn’t matter that he was losing control because he’d never had any to begin with. He’d already lost. But that thought was far from comforting.
With each new blow came a new wave of agony. Though he tried to keep track of how many lashes he had left to endure, he soon lost all awareness of the prayer—he knew nothing but the excruciating pain of sharp stone slicing his flesh to ribbons. When his bonds were cut at last, he collapsed to the ground and howled as the movement tore even further at his back. Panting hard, he squeezed his eyes shut and fought back his rising nausea. When he dared to open them, it was to the sight of the duke and the High Priest looking down at him, one in curiosity, the other in contempt. For one awful moment, their gazes pinned him in place, and for that one awful moment Anden wished he could die—anything to escape the sickening shame of his helplessness laid bare.
At last the High Priest and the worshipper were escorted out, and the two remaining guards hoisted Anden onto one of the stone tables. It took the healer priestess far longer to mend his back than it had taken Emitis to rip it apart, and her unsympathetic caretaking hurt nearly as much.
Gods, when would he ever stop hurting?
Flickering in and out of consciousness, he was prostrate on the stone table at one moment, and had been dragged halfway across the chamber in the next. And then he was jolted awake by his own sharp cry as yet another burst of anguish shot through him—through his tears, he saw that he’d been dropped to the floor of his cell. He was dimly aware of the guards’ taunting voices as he tried and failed to pull himself to his cot; their laughter seemed to echo through the chamber even after the thud of the iron door announced that he’d been left alone with Kiri.
Kiri—where was Kiri? He willed his fading vision to hold out just a bit longer as he sought out her form in the opposite cell. At last he could make out the shape of her, her hands clinging to the bars. He didn’t have to be able to see her expression to notice that she was scared for him. He wanted to reassure her, but first he needed to know—
“You okay?” he asked, his voice raw.
He passed out before he could hear the answer.
The next day was absolute hell. It was shamefully obvious to everyone that he wouldn’t be able to stand at attention for the entirety of the daily temple rituals, so the guards bound him to his pillar in the High Chamber. The scarlet cords wrapped tightly around him and the column in a series of loops running from his ankles up to his shoulders. It had been months since they’d needed to resort to such measures to keep him upright; it was just as humiliating as he remembered, and even more painful. His back was pressed so hard into the pillar’s surface that, even through the thick bandages wrapped around his torso, he could feel each stone ridge burrowing into his wounds. No sooner would the fiery pain begin to dull, than the slightest shift in his position would send it burning fresh through the latticework of torn skin. By midday, he was earnestly grateful for the padded muzzle that encased his lower face—he didn’t have the energy to even try to hold back his pitiful moans.
And then there was Kiri. He stole a glance at her twice that morning, before he could no longer afford the additional pain it cost him to turn his head. She was far from okay—she was too still, too unresponsive to anything around her. But her mind was often far away, or perhaps far inward, in the days after a private ritual. She always returned to him, he reminded himself. Something in his chest tightened, though, when he saw that even her endlessly-moving hands only hung limp at her sides. In his more coherent moments, when he wasn’t overwhelmed with the simple task of breathing through his suffering, he was all too aware that something was very wrong with Kiri.
But as the day went on, such moments of lucidity grew more fleeting. He was so exhausted that he felt like he was losing his grip on reality; his vision swam, and every worshipper who stood before him warped into something grotesque and inhuman. When he was at long last being half-dragged back to the Chamber of Vessels, he even thought he saw Omika passing through the halls, before he realized it was only a temple attendant.
The following two days—or was it three?—passed in the same endless blur. The one thing that kept it from being fully unbearable was knowing that this would all soon be over. Midsummer would fall in less than two weeks. He’d survived nearly a year—he ignored the way his throat tightened at the thought—so surely he could survive just a bit longer. And so could Kiri.
He had to remind himself of that last fact frequently. As the pain began to dull, somewhere around the fourth day, his concerns for Kiri only sharpened. His wounds were healing well, but she’d clearly found no ease from whatever was still plaguing her mind.
At least she didn’t seem to feel any compulsion to hurt herself. In the weeks following her mother’s execution and Edric’s assault—gods, Anden was going to burn down this place and everyone in it for putting her through that—he’d had to keep a close eye out for signs she was about to start scratching or biting herself. But even on the worst of those nights, when she’d seemed so wholly overcome with grief, he’d still seen her constantly combing through the end of her braid or tapping her thumb and forefinger together or flapping her hands at her sides. Yes, the endless movements were a heartbreaking gauge of just how distressed she was at any given moment. But they also showed Anden that some part of her was still seeking to comfort herself with her usual repetitive motions, however unconscious it may be. Some stubborn, beautiful part of her had always remained determined to help herself.
But now her hands were so still. And Anden didn’t know what to do.
That night was the first all that week in which he didn’t immediately pass out from pained exhaustion. Laying next to the cell bars, he slipped his hand out into the narrow hallway. He held back a groan as the movement pulled at his back, but Kiri must have noticed him wince.
“Don’t,” she admonished softly, even as she edged closer to her own set of bars and reached out toward him.
He clasped her hand and squeezed it tenderly. “Worth it.”
“But—” Kiri’s brows knit together in concern; it was the most emotion he’d seen her express in far too long. “How bad is it tonight?”
Pretty fucking terrible, he thought. But he only said, “Not so bad now. Healer says I’ll be fine.”
Her thumb brushed softly against the back of his hand, then again and again in soothing repetition.
Gods, he loved her.
“Tell me what’s wrong,” he pleaded gently. “Please, I just—did something happen?”
Her hand stilled once more, and his heart dropped.
“I—I was just so scared. I've been so worried about you,” she said truthfully.
“Yeah, but you’re always worried about me. There’s more to it, isn’t there?” At her silence, he swallowed down his rising frustration. There was a whole city of people who deserved his anger far more than Kiri ever could.
“You don’t have to tell me anything,” he continued, as a reminder to himself as much as to her. “But I’ll be worried whether you do or not. I, uh, I’m always worried about you, too, you know?”
Something in her expression cracked. He pressed on. “That night, during that last ritual—”
“No.”
Anden froze.
Kiri wasn’t looking at him anymore. “No. No, I can’t—I—gods, please, I can’t—”
Shit. Shit, shit, shit—he’d pushed too hard. “Kiri—hey, Kiri, it’s okay.”
Her breathing was growing erratic. “I can’t do it. I can’t, I can’t do it.”
Her fear tore at his heart. Maybe he should forget the whole thing, just focus on helping her breathe and settle into the present. But damn it, this might be the only time he could get some answers.
“What can’t you do?”
“Please—please, I can’t—”
“What can’t you do, Kiri?”
“The—the water!” Shoulders shaking, she sobbed, “The water—I—I can’t, I don’t want to—”
The water. Anden was relieved to think that nothing else had happened that night—he’d been so worried about what Edric could have done to her in her cell while everyone else was focused on his flogging. But gods, did he feel like an asshole. He hadn’t even needed to ask her what had been troubling her because apparently he’d already known; all he’d accomplished in his ill-conceived interrogation was making her relive her torture.
Guilt gnawing at his core, he slowly coaxed her into matching his breathing. His arm ached from stretching it out into the hall for so long, but he would happily hold her hand for as long as she wanted him to.
When her tears ran dry, Kiri’s voice came out small and fragile. “I’m sorry.”
“No, I’m sorry,” Anden insisted. “I shouldn’t have hounded you like that.”
“But I made you worry. And you—you’ve been hurt so badly, you shouldn’t have to—”
“It’s fine. Really. Hell, worrying about you’s been a nice distraction from it,” he joked grimly.
Kiri clearly did not find it amusing. “Will you be able to make it through the procession tomorrow?”
“I mean, I’ll have to. At least it’s our last Fifth Day.” When he felt her stiffen, he was quick to reassure her, “Hey, that’s a good thing, remember? Means we’ll be out of here soon.”
She hesitated, then jerked her head in a nod. “I guess it’ll be easier to escape with everyone distracted by the Midsummer preparations.” Something in her voice sounded forced, like she was trying to convince herself—though Anden had the oddest, fleeting thought that she might instead be trying to convince him.
“I’m sure that’s what my brother’s been waiting for,” he lied.
He really needed to tell her.
For so long, he’d been telling himself that he could protect her from knowing what was coming, always just for a little while longer. And now they were running out of time.
But how the fuck was he supposed to tell her tonight? She’d only just settled into something resembling calm, after he’d made her hysteric at the thought of being forced underwater again.
Her hands were so still.
His thumb brushed softly against the back of her hand, then again and again in what he hoped was soothing repetition, until he fell into an uneasy sleep.
The next day’s holy procession was by far the most difficult he could remember. He could still barely walk on his own as it was; pulling Kiri in that damned chariot she was always displayed on, through the entire city, seemed an impossible task. But he plodded on, trying to ignore the way the harness straps that pressed into his barely-healing scars. Nearly a year’s worth of experience had long since taught him that if he collapsed, he’d only be beaten for it later. He couldn’t afford any more injuries right now, not with so few days left till Midsummer.
Because they would escape on Midsummer.
They would.
And so he followed the vanguard attendants bearing the hideous statue of Vato, step by painful step. He pretended that he didn’t know how many thousands of people lining the streets could see him in such a pathetic state. He pretended that he couldn’t feel the revolting shame that welled up from his core. Even when he happened to spot that thin little duke, studying him with those same gleaming eyes with which he’d studied the flogging so few nights ago, Anden pretended that it didn’t bother him in the least. Why would it, with escape so near?
Escape was so near.
It was.
As they passed out of the craftsmen’s district, a familiar whistle, so low he nearly missed it, rang out from his left. And there on the sidewalk stood Antoni. Their twin green eyes locked for the briefest of moments. Anden returned his brother’s subtle nod, and continued on as though his heart wasn’t pounding in his ears.
There was still plenty of room for worry; there were so many ways something could go wrong. But a tightness that Anden hadn’t even noticed had been building in his chest for months, suddenly eased. The plan really was still on.
And he really needed to tell Kiri about The Seaman of Oshna.
That night, after the healer priestess finished repairing the stitches he’d pulled and he was left alone with Kiri once more, he told himself that he had to do it. He had to tell her. And to his own credit, he would have, if he weren’t interrupted by the hideous creak of the outer chamber door.
Fear and fury warred inside him. It was too soon; he’d barely recovered at all after the last private ritual. They couldn’t do this to him after all he’d suffered today—he truly didn’t know if he could take any more. And Kiri—he met her gaze and his heart ached at the primal terror he saw there.
It was for the best, he tried to tell himself, while he watched her dark eyes turn glassy as Edric took his time winding rope around her chest. He had to trust that her mind knew how to best protect her from what was coming; if that meant hiding her away somewhere deep within herself, that must be what would keep her safe. He couldn’t help but worry that she was in more than the usual danger, though he couldn’t have said of what.
Because no matter what Kiri had said, and no matter how much Anden wanted to believe her, he couldn’t quite shake the thought that something else had happened last time, something she wasn’t telling him. And he knew it was too much to hope that tonight would be any less a nightmare for either of them.
I am apparently incapable of writing in any state other than an absolute frenzy; I was wildly unproductive for a couple of days because I could not think about anything other than this chapter. I clearly need to make sure that my next one comes out in a more timely manner, cause I think the gaps in my wriitng time are doing weird things to my brain.
I can't say enough how thankful I am to everyone who's stuck with this fic, y'all have made this process so much more fun!!!
We're about to get into the chapters I've been most excited/most dreading to write, so...brace yourself I guess lol

“Why can’t we just love each other?” Ch. 4
Tumblr media
Last part!
Ch.1 Ch.2 Ch.3
Why was it so difficult for you two to get along and just love each other? You’ve been dreading going to school all morning, now you’re here…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You woke up, having been crying all night your eyes were puffy and you didn’t feel to good.
Having seen you, your mom asked if you were sick, hoping she’d let you stay home you were very admit that you didn’t feel well. Unluckily she checked your temperature and decided you were well enough to go, but if anything happens to call her and she’ll pick you up.
So you trotted back to your room and got ready for school. Everything seemed to be going a lot slower and you felt a deep pain in your chest that spread all around your body. You felt as though heavy weights had been placed on you every move you made felt like a difficult task.
The ride to school was hellish. You felt as though we’re were going to cry the closer you got.
Finally deciding to check your phone, forgetting it was on do not disturb. You see text from Tsireya, kiri and Neteyam. Checking your group chat with Kiri and Tsireya first. Them talking about plans for next weekend and then Tsireya saying that there was something at school for you.
This message left you confused until you opened your text from Neteyam.
“Hey Y/N! Please make it to school early there’s a surprise there for you!”
At this you were really puzzled. You knew the two were close to Aonung, so you expected that they knew and were going to apologize for him. They were sweet but you were not accepting it from anyone other than him.
The audacity he had to ask others to do his work for him. This just angered you.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Arriving to school, you had 15 minutes before the 1st period bell. You decided to drop your things off and then meet Kiri at your usual place.
Going to the library is where you two would meet up, Tsireya usually got there later so you two would just talk about books or movies, anything really. It was a good way to start the day. Kiri had a relaxing aura to her that you enjoyed being around, so you were glad that you had her on this already tasking morning.
Arriving you saw that she wasn’t here.. but instead
.
.
It was Aonung sitting at the table seeming to be very nervous. You turn to leave until he noticed you.
He waves to you, thinking that you heard the whole conversation.. but sadly you didn’t. So he didn’t understand why you looked so upset.
Did you not like him? Did you hate him?
You turned away and started walking out, but you felt a hand on your shoulder turning you around.
“Hey Y/N, about what I said yesterday-“
You cut him off
“No. Please I’m sorry for being so “rude and always finds a way to get under your skin””
You were finally face to face with him, and looking into his eyes tears started welling up in yours, angry tears.
At this point he got that you didn’t hear the whole conversation and was taken aback. He looked hurt and ashamed of his words.
Upset? Why does he look upset? I’m the upset one. After all that talk how is he going to look like he’s hurt? You thought to yourself.
You let out a frustrated sigh
“You know, I really did like you. I liked you a lot. But I see that I’m just a pain in your side.”
At this point he starts talking
“No no Y/N please let me explain. I’m so sorry I said those things about you. I never meant them, I know that what I said was terrible but it wasn’t the full conversation… the truth is I really like you Y/N and I’ve liked you for a while now. Ever since the first day you’ve caught my eye and I love spending time with you and being around you. The way you talk, and you’re so funny, and you don’t let people walk all over you but you still show true kindness to everyone. And I just love those things about you. I’m so sorry for hurting you.”
You were shocked to say the least. You were overwhelmed with emotions and had no idea what to say. You started to cry again and Aonung looked worried until you pulled him into a kiss.
He looked down at you, then closed his eyes deepening the kiss.
You both felt as though you were floating on air. Nothing could ruin this moment.
“WOOO THATS MY BRO!!”
You both stopped hearing the cheering in the back, seeing all your friends there. Kiri hit the back of Roxto’s head shushing him, and Tsireya looking upset. Neteyam was shaking his head and Lo’ak was laughing at them.
You two stare back at them, then look at each other.
You both start laughing and they congratulate you on your new found relationship.
Aonung no longer felt ashamed to show his love and you had finally stopped insulting each other every second of the day. Sure you both joked but now it was out of endearment.
Finally you loved each other.
Authors note: thanks for the support guys! What should I write next? My request are always opened!

I can see Spider being taken to the Capitol and tortured like Peeta was in Hunger Games 3, it reminds me of Spider being interrogated by Ardmore.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hey everybody remember the Hunger Games Au i wrote up back in November? I needed to watch the final movie but then I got bronchitis (that took me two months to recover from) and it was also Christmas at the time and I really didn't feel like watching the child murder movies. But I never forgot about this and I finally got around to watching the final movie! So without further ado let's wrap this up.
To the question of what Spider and Kiri would have shown off in individual training, I feel like Kiri would have purposely tanked her's just for fun not even for strategy. She'd see the whole thing as stupid plus she knows her abilities so she's got nothing to prove. the gamemakers though can see what shes doing and give her a 9 to make her more of a target. I can see Spider pulling a Katniss and shooting an arrow right at the gamemakers to make them pay attention then bowing out. Quaritch is only half pissed at him. The other part is so proud. He's even more proud when Spider is awarded an 11.
In interviews they're both just kinda dicks lol. Spider taunts the whole crowd, talks mad shit on Snow, and heckles the fuck out of Flickerman. Kiri is similar just way more sarcastic and petty. So Snow was definitely super pissed when these two won the game.
Moving on to the ending.
I've tossed around a lot of idea's in my head for who gets captured and I had almost settled on it being Neytiri, Ronal and Paz, but that was mainly because I didn't want to hurt any of the kids especially Spider (I hurt that kid enough in Cabin and all I want is good things for him. I really dont want to hurt the moms either or anybody for that matter but this is a Hunger Games au) And yeah it does match actual Avatar canon to have Spider be one of the ones captured so that's what happens. Neytiri and Aonung are also captured.
The families are all incredibly distraught. Paz has a full on meltdown the moment she wakes up in recovery and is told the terrible news. It's her worst nightmare come to life and she completely blames herself for it. Quaritch, who's already inwardly losing his shit over his son but trying to keep it together, internally breaks seeing his wife like that because he's never seen her break before. After Paz is sedated Quaritch goes off to be alone. Spider's capture cases a real strain on their relationship because neither knows how to comfort or emotionally support the other. Paz is so guilt ridden that she doesn't want to be anywhere near her husband feeling intense shame when ever he looks at her. Quaritch doesn't blame her for Spider's capture. He blames himself for not volunteering in his son's place the day of the reaping. the only thing they can manage to do together is plan on saving their son.
Ronal also blames herself for her son's capture but she buries it deep under a wildfire determination to get him back. Tonowari of course wants Aonung back too and is just as determined, he just advocates that they be calm and level headed about their recuse so that they don't lose anyone else.
Jake hasn't felt this powerless in years. He wants to storm the Capital single handed to get his wife back but no one will let him leave. They all look down on him for being in a wheelchair and forget that he was a victor in the Hunger Games once. That he trained his children to be warriors while being paralyzed. But no matter how much he advocates for himself it just falls on the deaf ears of district 13's president. Who i decided is not Grace but General Ardmore.
Ardmore rules over district 13 in a strict but seemingly fair manner. And she is a pretty good leader. She's just extremely power hunger. I'm going to say Ian Garvin is the Heavensbee of this au. He sees right through Ardmore but he does need her to win the war. It's him that convinces her to let Jake, Ronal, Tonowari, Quaritch and Paz into her war room. Jake impresses her with his war strategies ( Don't worry Jake doesn't come up with Gale's plan. That's all Ardmore) and quickly becomes the lead strategist of her army. Tonowari and Quaritch are on the frontlines. They try to convince Ronal and Paz to stay back but Paz brushes them off with a bitter, "I have nothing left to lose," and Ronal snaps, "i will fight!"
The Capital starts airing interviews with their clearly brainwashed hostages. Paz's shriek silences the entire cafetiere when she sees her son on the t.v. His wild mane of curls now fall neatly around his chin, brushed out of his face like a perfect little gentleman. It shows off how sunken his cheeks have gotten. how hollow and dead his eyes looks. His once tan skin is now pale, made to look even paler by the snow white suite they've dressed him to hide his thin frame. "what would you like to say to your friends and family right now Spider?" "Kiri? Mama? Dad?," Quaritch is trying to hold Paz up as she openly sobs for her child for all of district 13 to see, "please stop. This isn't you. Your good people that would never betray the country. Just stop fighting and come home please."
Aonung get's the exact same treatment dresses up and paraded around on t.v like the Capital's little pet, begging his mom and dad to surrender. Ronal cracked a tooth from clenching her jaw so hard in rage and Tonowari put a hole in the wall when no one was looking.
Neytiri is also brought out, her braids are taken out, hair straightened within an inch of its life. she's dressed in a tasteful white cocktail dress, with a white rose tucked behind her right ear. when she's asked "what would you like to say to your husband right now." She says, "my Jake," there's a long pause, a whole war going on behind her amber eyes before she finally chokes out, "end them." the broadcast instantly cuts off.
And the kids in all this? Since I don't really have a mockingjay singled out among the bunch, I'm gonna say they're all kinda the mockingjay. They're the kids who survived. The ones who have to now live with the horrors inflicted on them by the capital. As I was typing this I actually thought it'd fit Neteyam to make a shrine for one of his competitors like Katniss did for Rue. He bonded with a little girl that was Lo'ak's age at the time but reminded him a lot of Tuk. When she died it was like he could see both of his siblings dying with her and it utterly gutted him. He honored her in front of all of Panem and for it everyone loves him.
Kiri is beloved for her definice. It inspires so many others to stand up and fight.
Lo'ak feels ashamed for what happened to his mother and is very candid about it. He talks openly about how he felt so inadequate compared to his "hero" parents and brother. But he understands now that underneath all the pageantry and splendor of the Capital is a absolutely vile core that needs to be ripped out so that they all can finally know peace.
Tsireya is a medic in this like Prim was. Her and Lo'ak start up a romance because they trauma bond over a family member being held hostage.
Tuk is there but she's just too little to really do anything.
And finally Grace in all this plays a similar roll as the mayor from district 8. She just had this lightbulb moment after having Kiri that her daughter would never know peace as long as there tyrannical government stayed in power. She wanted to take Kiri with her but she got word that a sickness was spreading through 13 that was killing all the children. Kiri and her have a lot to work through but Kiri doesn't get angry with Grace for wanting to fight for a better world. Kiri still grew up healthy and happy with her adopted family and soon all of them would be able to live freely and safely in the world they'll create.
Finally the opportunity arrives to save the hostages. Norm is able to hack the system giving a volunteer strike team an opening. the team is made up of Quaritch, Paz, Ronal, Tonowari and Neteyam. It goes off without a hitch. I want to say that unlike in the movie/book where Snow actually just let them go that in this au the strike team was actually just that good and got in and out without anyone noticing. The families all hold each other all the way home the only sounds coming from their cries of relief.
Also none of them are brainwashed to try and kill a loved one. They are severely traumatized though. Their tortures goes as follows and you can skip to the next paragraph if you’d rather not read this. Spider was made to see horrific fantasies under trackerjacker venom to the point where it’s hard for him to tell what’s real anymore. He’s jittery and anxious all the time and panics easily. He flinches if someone raises a hand too fast and that includes his own parents who are both devastated for their son and enraged that the capital would hurt their boy so badly he couldn’t even trust his own mom and dad anymore. Kiri helps Spider through it playing “real or not real,” something she tells Quaritch and Paz about to better manage Spiders dissociative episodes when she’s not around. Aonung was given electric shocks in water now making him fear it. Even seeing a few drops of water is enough to make him shake. This hurts his whole family to see since the ocean is the core of there cultural identity. Ronal and Tonowari want to burn the entire capital down to nothing for the crime against humanity they’ve inflicted on their son. It takes so much time but his parents and sister start with coaching Aonung through the breathing mediation he’d do as a small child when he was first learning to swim putting his mind at ease by reciting the way of water with him. Once he doesn’t freak out seeing so much as a cup of water they slowly get him to interact with it again first with a very shallow bath (basically a puddle) building until his family is lovingly coaxing him into a pool. He panics at first but swimming is like breathing to him and surrounded by so much love and support he eventually calms. Neytiri was given a drug that made the simplest touch feel like excruciating pain. She knows it was just the chemicals they pumped into her veins but she can’t help but flinch every time one of her children hugs her, her breath catching in her throat. She puts on a brave face and holds her children despite how much it makes her heart race. The only one she talks about this with is Jake. They do their own form of real or not real where he’ll brush his fingertips over her arm so so gently he’s almost not touching her at all and ask, “pain or no pain,” until Neytiri can retrain her mind to not associate every minor touch with pain.
After they take time to recover it’s decided that a strike team will be sent out to assassinat Snow. There’s no way in hell any of the parents will let there kids go on this mission so it’s all the adults. Maybe it's just because I love all these characters and don’t want to kill them off but I’m going to say they’re all so good that they outmaneuver every capital trap and survive Ardmore’s bombing of civilians but if I was going to kill people off here's how I’d do it…
Tonowari meets the same fate as Boggs killed in a trap.
Quaritch is overwhelmed by mutts like Finnick was. Paz shoots him herself to put him out of his misery
Neteyam is killed in the second wave of bombings. He snuck out of 13 with the medics because he wanted to give aid to the civilians hurt in the war.
I also had the very evil idea of Neteyam getting sent to the group like Peeta was for some reason, and him being injured in the same trap that killed Tonowari and Neytiri staying with him while the rest move on only for them both to die when the building their hiding in is bombed and then Tsireya dies trying to give medical aid to civilians but good god is that devastating for me to think about.
But it’s a good thing none of that happens! So Ardmore gathers all the past hunger games victors to discuss Snow’s public execution and to float the idea of a hunger games with the capitals children. They are all equally horrified because they’ve all been through so much and just want peace. The kids all speak out but the parents stay quiet all silently thinking the same thing. This bitch has got to go.
All the victors are lined up with bows and arrows to execute Snow in front of the whole country. Only half of the arrows pierce him though. They other half sail right into Ardmore’s chest. Grace is later elected president. Kiri is constantly going from the Sully’s place to Grace’s to Spider’s. Spider and his parents live in a cottage in a peaceful meadow where he continues his recover. His mom is kind of smothering now still recovering from the trauma of losing her son but he knows it’s all love. When he’s in a better place he decides to travel and see the new world. Ronal and Tonowari are surprised to learn they’re expecting but it’s a happy surprise. They can’t wait to bring their third into a peaceful world. Tsireya continues her medical training and Aonung becomes a sailor. He just feels at peace out on the ocean. Jake is basically Graces Vice President and Neytiri is basically the secretary of infrastructure working to rebuild every district. Neteyam, Lo’ak, and Kiri are the leads on construction on a memorial for all the children slaughtered in the games. Everyone is their on opening day. It’s seeing the memorial that really brings peace to all of them. It’s not only a testament to those killed, but a marker that all the horror is now over.
Hope you all enjoyed the long awaited part 2! I’d love to know your thoughts 💙

Good morning/afternoon/evening 👋🏽💙 can we please have some headcanons for class 1a with a reader who has a sea monster quirk? (like from the movie luca) for context, when the reader is dry, the appear as a normal human, but if any body part comes into contact with water, that part reverts back to its original form.
Hello! I hope you like this and I am sorry it took so long and not posting. I have been dealing with some personal issues for the past month and it has plagued my mind. I am getting better now and plan to start posting again.
I may make a part 2 later.
Sea Monster Quirk - Class 1-A x Reader (platonic)

Sea Monster Quirk
Class 1-A:
• It wasn't until the day of the USJ incident that anyone learned the fullness of your quirk. You had been dropped in the water with Midoriya, Mineta, and Asui. They knew you had some type of sea quirk but were surprised to see you looking completely different. It came in handy with the villains surrounding the ship.
• Light blue scaly Skin with orange yellow and pink ombre fins. You have burnt orange eyes and your tail matches the Ombre of your scales.
• Midoriya, being the quirk nut he is, asks you a million questions. He hasn't seen many quirks (in person) that have such a drastic physical change.
• Koda is Happy to have someone to relate to when it comes to animals since you can understand underwater animals.
• Mineta started to avoid you after he saw your teeth in your monster form. (You were elated & Kiri doesn't understand why he leaves you alone but not him though.)
• Mina loves that there is someone else in the class that has an abnormal appearance. But she also hates that she can't make up or dress up your monster form since when you dry off you go back to normal.
• The rest of the class is just curious about what is normal life for you. What do you eat?- Sato How cold or hot waters can you stand? - Todoroki Can you still be electrocuted if you live in water? - Kaminari You're not as dumb as a fish are ya? - Bakugou
• They also find it funny when you have a bad case of phantom tail. It was fun explaining that to everyone.
• On another note, the whole class backs you up when Monoma starts to make fun of you for your quirk. Such as calling you 'fish face' or being over dramatic with telling everyone to be nice to the fish or how terrible everyone is for eating fish in a mocking tone (Even though you still eat seafood. What else are you supposed to eat?).
• But Monoma eats his own words when he has to go up against you when Class A & B went to the USJ together. You could hear the rest of Class A rooting you on from the entirety of the building.
• The class also noticed that you changed when the tides changed or when the seasons changed. Sometimes it was your moods or sometimes it was your sea monster form. Your scales seem harder and deepen in color during winter and lighter in the spring.
• It was also revealed that you were more susceptible to actual fire. You can stand hot water but not actual fire. So Todoroki is often careful if he can be. Ever Bakugou has been a bit more careful around you, but he would deny it if asked.
• The one big thing you notice is that almost everyone has picked up on at least one little thing about you and do things to accommodate you. Like how Bakugou makes you a plate to fit your diet when it's his night to cook. Or when Kirishima gets water for everyone, yours has some salt in it after mentioning you like it better next to regular. Or even how Iida isn't pushy when you fall behind in running when he is running training in place of Aizawa, since you're a swimmer not a runner.

Slice of Life Drabble : Eijiro Kirishima
Tumblr media
“No, no, no,” you mutter – just loud enough for the suited man at your left to eye you worriedly.
There’s coffee spilling between your fingers. Sticky, sugary, more-caramel-milk-than-actual-caffeine coffee.
You hiss as it slips under the cuff of your shirt, a thin trail trickling around the curve of your wrist.
The light flashes green and you soldier on, cheeks blazing at the trail of caramel macchiato you leave behind. Another man in a suit, talking obnoxiously loud into his brand new phone, knocks into your shoulder and sends a wave of blistering liquid down your front. He doesn’t notice, merely readjusts his grip on the briefcase at his side and continues shoving his way through the morning crowd.
Hot tears sting your eyes and you’re this close to throwing the cup on the ground and stomping back home. But even that doesn’t sound very appealing right now – just the thought of  a forty minute train ride with a sugary stain on your hand and shirt makes some of the tears spill over.
Your phone buzzes from its place at your hip, and you sniffle noisily as you raise it up, praying to any god that’ll listen that it’s not your boss.
“Um, hi?” Your voice is thick and wet and snotty.
You drop the half-full coffee cup into a bin.
It’s Eijiro.
“Baby! I’ve got to tell you about– Hold on, are you alright? You sound sick. Do you need me to bring you soup?” He sounds so sweet and so concerned and so warm that something in you just bursts and suddenly you’re sobbing in the middle of rush hour, surrounded by hundreds of salary men and women.
“Kiri,” you sniffle out.
“Baby what’s wrong?” You stare blankly down at your wrist, eyes misted over. “Nothing. Everything. Just a bad morning.”
“Baby,” he coos, just as worried.
You’re silent, squeezing your eyes shut as you shuffle into the shade of a building and out of the way of the bustling crowd. The Mustufu streets are a sea of grey and black blazers that all blend into one convoluted mass in your bleary eyes.
“Where are you?”
You glance up, swiping at your cheek as you take in the jaunty yellow exterior of the building. “Outside the Honeybee Tea shop. I’m late for work.”
Your phone buzzes against your cheek. It’s a text from your boss.
ARE YOU SICK? DID THE TRAIN CRASH? IS THERE A VILLAIN CRISIS I HAVEN’T HEARD OF YET?
You stifle a sob in the palm of your hand and slump back against the wall. Flecks of peeling amber paint cling to the back of your coat and embed themselves beneath your clawing nails.
“Don’t move.”
“Okay,” you whisper as the line clicks off.
Your arm drops limply to your side and you stare down at the scuffed tips of your shoes. They’re too tight around the heels and you can already feel a hot blister forming from your run to the train (which you still missed, of course). The ache of it isn’t that bad, you suppose, but it just adds to how unbearably uncomfortable you are right now.
You sag further into the wall.
There’s a shriek, one that has you clutching your phone to your chest, but it’s followed by shouts of glee and laughter.
“Red Riot! Red Riot! Can you sign my…um…shit I don’t have anything on me, can you sign my arm?”
Your gaze latches onto the scarlet spikes of hair easily. Eijiro towers over everyone around him, a hulk of rippling, well-trained muscle and a splash of colour against the monotonous grey of suits. As soon as your eyes meet he’s pushing through the crowd with practised grace, caging you in against the wall and blocking out the rest of the world with ease.
He’s always been handsome in his hero costume, and it’s made all the more apparent by your lack of recent contact.
A series of ill-timed patrols and late nights for you at the office had thrown a spanner into your usual routine. Maybe that’s why everything has felt so off recently. Maybe that’s why today feels so much worse than usual.
You’ve missed him.
Terribly.
Judging by the bone-crushing grip he has on your hips you’d say he’s felt the same.
“Oh baby. What happened here?”
Your bottom lip wobbles, lashes growing heavy as tears bead in your eyes once more.
You’re quickly pulled into his chest, nose smushed against hard pecs, no doubt leaving sticky smears of snot in your wake. You don’t have it in you to feel embarrassed.
“I have a spare shirt at the agency you can borrow, and there’s a coffee shop on the way – can you ask to work remotely today? You have your laptop on you right?”
You sniffle, rubbing a tear off on his sternum. “Yeah. I guess.”
“Let’s get you comfortable baby.”

Part 13
I was in paradise. Lived my dream with Neteyam. A dream I never knew I had. But this life right now, was the only thing I wanted.
I wanted to spend every minute with him.
I wanted to become one with this world. Feel nature, feel him. We clung to each other like burs. Lo'ak rolled his eyes, every time we accidentally  touched - which happened often.
I became more and more like one of them. This world had sucked me up, swallowed me whole and now held me close with a tight grip. But I didn't resist. I wanted to be here from the bottom of my heart. Never before had I felt such peace, such love. And even though I knew my work and Norm, the disease, and the new sky people were out there, it felt miles away. Like from another life.
I ran barefoot through the forest, ate wild fruits and swam through crystal clear lakes with Neteyam. I wore Kiri's homemade jewelry, had braids and dreadlocks in my hair. Every day, a bit of my soul became wilder, could breathe more freely. I was at home in paradise.
I never wanted to leave this place. But reality caught up with me. With a message over the radio, which I had in my equipment for contact with the laboratory team, Norm tore me out of my dream: He used the time during his quarantine and analyzed every plant I sent in, in detail. Not one contained the sugar we needed for the antibiotic. Theae news were like a slap in the face. We couldn't make a cure! That meant, we couldn't heal the Na'vi. More and more would get sick and die eventually.
The news knocked me from my feet. And for a moment, I saw my situation from a different perspective. What on earth was I doing here? A doctor-in-training on an alien planet, stuck in an alien body. Wearing feathers in her hair and hopping through the forest with the natives. Yes, even with the chief's son. It was all too absurd. I closed my eyes to resist the rising panic. It didn't go very well. My hands started shaking and I dropped the radio I was still holding.
"Eva?" Nete's voice pierced through to me. He strolled over to me, across the clearing. His happy expression collapsed when he saw my dismayed face. "Hey, what's up?" He gently touched my shoulder. Then tears welled up in my eyes.
"Norm contacted me," I began shakily after gathering myself for a few seconds. "He analyzed all the plants we sent." My serious gaze met his and a steep crease formed on his forehead. "None of the plants contain the sugar to make a medicine." The words were like stones in my mouth and tasted bitter. Neteyam's face went rigid with shock. I could literally see the thoughts rattling around in his head.
"What are you saying?" His voice was low and rough. I looked at him in desperation. "We can't save the." I whispered, tears falling on my cheeks. Neteyam stared straight ahead, lost in thought. His expression changed from confusion to anger to sadness. His yellow eyes met mine bleakly. "We have to tell Dad!"
I dreaded the thought of delivering this terrible news to Toruk Makto. The clan leader was in the village and we found him fairly quickly. Jake and his wife were talking to a tall warrior and I caught the word 'tawtute'. Sky people. But before I could think about it further, Jake turned to us. Noticing Neteyam's worried look, he escorted us to the Sullys' tent where we could talk privately. Neytiri stood by and crossed her arms.
"You really did analyse every plant?" Jake wanted to know.
"Yes," I mumbled. "We took samples from every plant that I sent to Norm's lab. Neteyam can attest to that."
Jake's son nodded affirmatively. Neytiri frowned. "And you are sure that the humans didn't make a mistake?"
"No, Norm examined every plant thoroughly!" I protested. And Jake said soothingly, "Norm is extremely conscientious, I've never seen him make mistakes."
Neytiri growled softly. "So what do we do now?"
Jake exhaled slowly. His furrowed eyebrows showed his deep concern. "I'll be honest, I don't know. I was hoping there was at least one plant for the cure. But this..." He rubbed his hand over his eyes. "And you really can't do it without this plant?" he asked exhausted.
I shook my head regretfully. "No, we need this sugar from the plants because it is responsible for the formation of immune cells in the body. And without it, the immune system cannot fight the virus."
Kiri, Took, Lo'ak and Spider eventually heard of our conversation and after a while they appeared at the tent entrance. They listened to our conversation in silence, with worried expressions on their faces, and Lo'ak clenched his fists in anger.
Jake sighed. "I'm not a pro at this field, but you can't artificially produce the sugar without the plant, can you?"
"No," I whispered, and it felt awful. I felt guilty, even though it wasn't my fault. In my head, I already saw the many dead who would not survive the disease because of me and the lack of medication. The rising panic threatened to overtake me.
"We need to consult with Tsahìk," said Neytiri suddenly.
"With Mo'at?" Jake put his arms on his hips. "What can she do? She's sick herself."
"The Tsahìk always knows what to do, even when all hope seems lost."
So we went to Mo'at's tent. The shaman sat on her sleeping mat, with her back to the wall. She wasn't any better than before, but at least not  worse. There was a light film of sweat on her forehead and her voice was hoarse from coughing. In her hand was a braided leather bracelet that she was decorating with pearls. Her head shot up, as we entered her tent. Her eyes darted warily between us and caught her daughter's concerned gaze.
When we broke the bad news to her, the lines on her forehead deepened. "By Eywa," she whispered and put her hand over her mouth. "And there is no solution?"
Jake shook his head. "Without the plant there is no medicine. And Norm has examined every plant. No. There is no solution." Toruk Makto bowed his head in shame. He felt like he had failed.
Mo'at was silent and in thought. I huddled in the far corner of the tent, feeling more and more guilty. That's when I felt Neteyam take my hand. I looked up at him smiling. An encouraging smirk tugged at his lips, but I could see in his eyes how  Norm's message frightened him. He squeezed my hand.
The others watched the adults with depressed faces. Spider had his arms crossed and Tuk worriedly took Kiri's hand. Lo'ak just stared in silence.
Mo'at put the bracelet aside and straightened, the woven blanket falling from her shoulders. "Which plants did you check?" she asked, directing her wise eyes at me. Neteyam and I exchanged a look. Then he listed a series of plant names. Mo'at nodded absently at each one. After Neteyam had finished, I mentioned, "It must be nocturnal plants, Norm said. We really did analyse each sample thoroughly, but..." The end of the sentence hung unspoken in the room, spreading a somber truth.
Mo'at looked down. All hope was on her. Norm and his scientists had found no solution. And if Mo'at didn't find any either, the village was lost.
The shaman turned her gaze back to me. Her ears twitched slightly. "What about the Clarasalus?"
I frowned and gave Neteyam a questioning look. But he too looked confused, as did everyone else in the room.
"I don't know it, where does it grow?" asked Neteyam.
Mo'at cleared his throat. "It only grows in one place: Still beyond the Hallelujah Mountains, in the Lepay Forest. And it only blooms once every ten years."
Her words hung in the air for a moment. "Fuck," Jake scolded, rubbing his forehead with his hand. "Can't luck even help us once? Jesus!"
Neytiri ignored her husband's curses. "When next time?"
A small smile appeared on Mo'at's lips. "Eywa is with us. On the next full moon, so in one week."
