A/N - i know this isn’t an actor fic im sorryyyy but MILES, MILES, MILES FUCKIN KANE LMAOOOO.

“Don’t fucking say that then!” You shouted as you continued to gather your belongings from Miles’ dressing room. Another petty argument had occurred between you and miles as you once again gave him the cold shoulder. You were aware of your actions in the back of your mind, but not how they’d affected miles

“Stop, where are you gunna go? I’m on in 5!” Miles shouted back.

“You just told me to go Miles, so which is it? Because I can’t keep doing this.” 

“I wish you could just read my mind” Miles dropped onto the sofa with his head resting on his palms.

“But I can’t Miles, You never tell me how you feel. What is your problem?” You continued, raising your voice out of sheer frustration.  

“YOU! YOU’RE MY PROBLEM!” Miles jumped up yelling as loud as he could. “I’ve seen you do it y/n, you change the colour of the trap every time and I fall for it regardless. When we argue like this I want you to go but I know it’ll only infuriate me more not having you right beside me. So, you tell me what to do because I don’t know anymore!”

“Miles I didn’t mean to make you feel like that. i didn’t kno-“

“Well now you do, you want to be with me one minute and don’t the next…I love you” Miles returned to his seat on the sofa, sighing as he relaxed into the back of the soft fabric.

“Miles you’re erm- you’re on” A member of the crew entered the room and announced awkwardly as it became apparent the argument had leaked throughout the building.

“I still want you to watch my set but I can’t force you” Miles said quietly as he began to walk to the stage. Your head told you to pack up all your belongings and go after all it wasn’t heathy to continue this cycle of arguments. On the other hand, your heart yearned to support him whilst he performed and hold him when he walked off. After his heart-wrenching revelation, maybe you had been treating him unfairly.

After a moments contemplation your heart won the battle. You sped up to the side of the stage and managed to arrive just after he’d begun his first song.

“Thanks everyone for coming out tonight, its been mental” The crowd roared as miles gave his closing speech.

“Now, I’ve got one last song that I wrote about a special someone hahaha, I hope you enjoy anyways thanks again”

You turned your head in confusion as the melodic song began.

‘if you’d just get it together and read my mind, then sleeping would be easy…….’

‘consider this now, it’s not too late, I have watched you change the colour of the trap before girl I have learned to wait’

As the song continued you felt tears fill up your eyes. Miles looked back at you as he continued to strum along the instrumental section and it was in that moment you knew, you loved him too. Messing with his head was the complete opposite of what you wanted, because everything you wanted was him.
