So as a Game of Thrones fan for a few years now, I’m extremely excited for House of the Dragon Season 2.
When I watched the first season, I was. 🖤 Team Black 🖤 for the obvious reasons of Rhaenyra being named heir by her father, King Viserys but it being stolen by her from men in Westeros who felt that she shouldn’t rule because she was a woman. I wanted her to take back her crown and show them the ruler that she seemed to be becoming.
But after watching the season a few times and noting the different storylines and characters between the blacks and the greens ( AND developing an obsession with a certain one-eyed prince 🫣😂) I think my allegiance may be shifting or it may be undetermined at this point.
Can’t really say yet because I think Rhaenyra should be the rightful heir but I think I may be more 💚Team Green💚 at this point.

I have two amazing best friends who fit every type on this list.
True Friendships, are ones that will last your entire lives and come only a few times in your life.
Although, we’ve had our moments of small conflicts, every now and then, we manage to work through them and come out stronger and closer than before.
It’s going on a decade of friendship with one of them and the other, I know will last just as long.
I’m very lucky to have found two besties that I will age with, stand at their side when they get married, have my children call them aunties and vice versa, and be 80 years old and still be just as close as when I first met them when I was 13 and the other at 21.
I think it is a gift to have people like this at your side and by theirs, and it’s a wish of mine that everyone can experience, true and lasting friendship, at least once in their life. 💖
Type of friends you need in your life
• Confident friends : These friends will not see you as a competition because they love themselves.
• Healing friends : They did their inner work which means they are self-aware, which motivates you to be self-aware of you too
• Intelligent friends : Friends that seek knowledge because knowledge means power. The more you learn, the better.
• Positive friends : Friends that wants the best for you and who will motivate and support you. Friends that gives you the right mindset
• Real friends : Friends that tell you that you did something wrong but in a gentle way. Friends that hold you accountable for your actions.

Does anyone else ever feel a sense of loss when you think about the lives you could have had, if you were born in the pages of your favorite book?
Images of the life I could’ve had in my favorite book or show, often play in my head like a movie.
I find myself almost reaching out for that other me, the one that is surrounded by things I can only imagine in a dream. But I can never quite reach her. She just slowly fades away until like an electric shock, I’m zapped back into reality.
I realize, I’ll always be reaching out for that version of me that would only exist in fantasy. And that is a bittersweet feeling.
Knowing I’ll never truly be her but also knowing that fantasy in stories and on screen is what gets me by in life. My imagination and my ability to dream beyond this world, is the only reason I’m still here.
