Yusuke in Build-A-Bear

Character(s): Yusuke Kitagawa

Note(s): Writing a request and it has me thinking of Yusuke being a menace if he ever went to Build-A-Bear (I'm assuming they have those in Japan, or at least some equivalent, I could be wrong).

He'd spend so much damn time trying to find the most aesthetic color/clothing match up for this bear. It hasn't even gotten the stuffing in yet before he's planning on what it'd look like.

Futaba or Ann or whoever else dragged him there is already done and he's still deciding on which kind of bear to choose (lowkey think he'd appreciate the aesthetic of Sanrio characters)

Feel like he'd either have the most aesthetic bear or it'd look absolutely wild, but he'd claim that it's artistic and have an essay about why the colors/clothes work.

Might see if he can get the bear to smell like curry or coffee if Ann lets him add scents (like hell he has the money for this).

Names the bear Monet or Toyokuni or some famous artist's name.

Today I went to the place where I usually get my tea (loose leaf tea because I'm that picky) and it's a place I really love because it's so SO aesthetically pleasant. With wood shelves covering the walls, tons of colour coded metal boxes depending on the tea inside, pretty mugs and teapots everywhere... Also they also have a couple of different teas already made so you can grab a paper cup and have some so it always smells amazing....

And it occurred to me that it could be a great place for Yusuke to work at. I mean, we all know it's very difficult to make a living off of art, and even more for someone like him, who doesn't want to make it a mere tool

Yeah it's a customer facing work but at least the store I go to doesn't usually have more than three or four customers at a time (also I'm as autistic as him and I work retail so...). But I see it as a great job for him to at least cover his basic needs so he can focus on art without having to worry about paying rent or groceries. Also it's great for people watching and then sketching when there's no customers there.

i actually hc that yusuke and keiko get a divorce a few years down the line of them living together, getting married, and after having one or two kids

he’s just not suited for “human” life. never been the type. he was at his happiest fighting demons and challenging his own physical strength. being a detective gave him a purpose and put him in an environment where he was truly free to be himself.

at first he tried to fit in. really gave the whole “husband” and “father” thing a shot, but I think even keiko could notice the eventual dulling of his eyes. his lackluster attitude and eventually everything just seemed to make him mad. make him lash out.

and he’d never mean it like that. really. he’s a nice guy, they both know that to be a fact. but he’s just off. not really feeling this whole “living” vibe anymore and he thinks again maybe it’s because he’s not really supposed to be alive

but keiko knows better. it becomes obvious with age and it’s something she learns not to force on him. not anymore, at least.

i think they’re both happier after the divorce too. now that they can stop pretending and forcing their own ideas of “normal” on each other. yusuke mostly resides in the demon world, switching back from time to time and always visiting her. it’s kind of like they’re dating again.

she never remarries or even goes out with anyone else. her heart belongs to him. and his to her. they’re just better worlds apart from time to time.

she sees him smile more often. the energy around him is completely different when he’s set free. when he can fight and train and let himself be. and it’s a little sad that she can’t share the life she always wanted to with him. the one she’d picture after watching corny romance movies while he’d be away. but then again, she always knew they’d be kinda different. yusuke was always different.

Phantom Thieves trying the period pain simulator

Ren: manages to keep a straight face all the way up to level 10 but is sweating like a pig and crying inside

Makoto: has endometriosis, quietly and calmly explains with clinical detail the full scope of the period experience over the screams of half her teammates

Ryuji: swearing up and down starting at level 4, can't sit up properly, screaming at the top of his lungs, swears he's having a baby

Ann: has level 5 cramps, goes into drill sergeant mode, pokes and prods at the guys to wake up, get up, get out there, they're overreacting and there are no off days for periods

Yusuke: waxes eloquently on greatly increased appreciation and respect for women and the injustice of societal dismissal of period pains while rocking in place and curled up in a fetal position

Futaba: level 7-8 at baseline, gleefully cackling her head off at the guys writhing in pain, button mashes the simulator

Morgana: starts out bragging that he can take it, but starts wailing and rolling around like he's on fire and rips off the pads at level 2

Haru: feels bad for the guys and goes into mom mode, rubs and pats their backs, asks if they want heat pads, pain pills, and sweets

there were lingering feelings between the phantom thieves all along, but with each member joining the team, those feelings only got more complicated!

shortly after haru joined the phantom thieves, the first pairs were starting to build. ryuji and ann were first, shortly followed by ren and makoto, as well as futaba and yusuke!

but those pairings weren't the only ones! slowly, some secret pairs started to build, with only the people involved knowing about it. ryuji didn't stay ann's only boyfriend, as she soon started dating yusuke too! at the same time, haru started dating makoto as well, while ren and ryuji became a couple too

given those connections, it was impossible to keep it a secret forever! and soon, the phantom thieves all had a talk with each other, deciding to open up their relationship further and have everyone date each other!

the most affectionate ones out of all are ann and haru! haru loves to cuddle with everyone, while ann shows her softer side only when she has time alone with you

ren and makoto are the protective ones, always keeping an eye on everyone! whether it's in the metaverse or at school, they always have your back!

ryuji and futaba are not only the biggest teases out of all phantom thieves, but they also love to gaming dates with each other, often inviting you and ren along as well!

meanwhile, haru and yusuke take you on fancy dates! they have an acquired taste and help you broaden your horizon, by introducing you to fancy food and extraordinary art!

while there is no jealousy between all of you, it does occasionally happen that one of you gets flirted with by a stranger! especially ann, haru and you are affected by that the most! it doesn't help that those two are the most jealous ones as well…

Persona 5 Thieves x Reader

Cuddling and what they're up for

Ren/Akira is mostly indifferent with it, but bro is down for anything. Snuggles? Sure. Basic cuddles? Of course. Lap cuddles? Fuck it why not. And he's damn good at it too. Protagonist power goes nuts.

Ryuji is kinda nervous about it at first but he gets used to it. Sleeps on your shoulder at least weekly and at most after five weeks.

(Platonic) Morgana is a cat. Daily.

Ann is the type of girl to say she likes to cuddle and only knows basic cuddling. You hold her and she holds you. She's alright at it, but it's her voice that does it in. It just feels so soothing.

Yusuke sees cuddling as an art form once you introduce him to it. You two will cuddle in the most extravagant poses for no reason. Not much else to it.

Makoto is incredibly inexperienced and incredibly nervous. But when she learns you will get lap cuddles all day. She likes to play with your hair and it's instantly relaxing.

Futaba is just all over you, she loves it. Whether it's because she had a stressful day or what have you. You are always the big spoon, no objections. She falls asleep instantly.

Haru is avid in cuddling. She reads a lot of romance books so she knows a thing or two. She's strong, but gentle. She is always the big spoon and whispers sweet nothings in your ear. She'll ask if you want her to give you head scratches or anything while she holds you. 10/10.

Akechi is... an interesting case. Pancake boy Akechi is always willing, but Murder Death Akechi will tell you no, straight up. He's a Two Face. Depends on the day. He holds you protectively even though there's nobody but you and him. You will not escape.

Sumire is a mix of Ann and Makoto. Super nervous at first, but says she likes to yet only knows basic cuddling. Her voice helps too, it sounds really sweet. That and she'll give you positive affirmation.

Changing people evil hearts to good, doing a favor to society while their enemies are trying to get them no matter what the consequences. That’s the job of the Phantoms Thieves of Hearts.

A group know for their actions against people who abuse those who can’t defend themself, bringing justice to this corrupt world, what a grandiose job for a Phantom Thieve….but at the same time, hippocratic for them being people whose hearts are bad and dark as their enemies, the only difference is that the Thieves are way worst. And the boys in the team aren’t not denying that.

-> the leader, well know by his friends, ren isn’t someone much of talking, only speaking in moments he find important and crucial to his life, either as a friend or as a leader of the group

-> you, the shy and kind student who once helped him one time during the time that kamoshida was at school, you might not remember that , but ren fell in love with you the moment you his dark eyes were connected to yours

-> as someone who have a reputation of delinquent even after what happened to kamoshida, ren did his best to approach you and befriend with you with his charms, after all, the little blushes on you make him want to pinch your adorable cheeks

-> with his charms high, didn’t take much time to make you dating him as he planned since the beginning, and taking you to dates with him around the cities around shibuya is something he now do at least one per week

-> seeing your smile everyday at school and during dates is his payment and reward

-> this boy is something else, after getting kick out of his club, he is now considered a delinquent like ren, the difference is that many still speaking about him, saying that because of him the team is not the same, isolating him faster

-> and even though he has Ann, Ren and Makoto at school to talk, ryuji still feel some empty space on him but couldn’t say exactly what… that’s until he saw you

-> a transfer student, someone who didn’t know ryuji story! a great chance to befriend the new classmate, and he quickly executed his plan, and slowly but effectively, you two get closer as he wanted

->the blonde definitely asked ren for advice to ask you out, after all, his friend already has a significant other, so ren knows how to deal with dates and those stuffs

-> now, not only you are dating him, become a little outcast from your friends of school but you met his mother! what a sweetie soul that woman is

-> not different from the others, you naivety attract him way faster than he admits, instead of painting ann, he offered to paint you but you immediately refused along the other phantoms

-> but he keep going trying interact with you, but instead of asking to paint you, he would take you to visit art galleries, showing you how he sees the world and introducing you as his significant other

-> he kept doing it so much, that now everyone accepts that you are dating him, holding your hand always no matter the place you went with him, he needs to feel your touch

-> and unfortunately, you couldn’t do much, whatever attempts to tell the others the true, yusuke would grab your hand with force, making you stopped trying to tell the true

A/N: sorry for the squints almost year long wait anon (oops) i think these ending up skewing a bit too gender neutral for my taste, but these were written first and foremost with a male reader in mind !! personally, i dont think yusuke cares too much for gender when it comes to romance (when he cares about romance at all) so that might be why. still, i hope you like them anon !! (+ i decided to try a new format for these. the old format was fun, but a little too restrictive.)

Yusuke somehow manages to strike a balance between obvious and frustratingly vague. Sometimes he's upfront and forward about his feelings for you and other times he says things that make you question everything you thought you knew.

Yusuke remains loyal to his art; if you don't like art, consider yourself thoroughly rejected. He doesn't need you to fully understand it, but you have to at least be able to derive some meaning from it.

He really loves asking you to model for him. He refuses to ask you to nude model for him if you aren't in a relationship yet. Yusuke had no qualms about asking Ann because that was for the sake of art and art alone. You, on the other hand, are a different story. When he formally starts courting you, then, maybe, he'll ask.

Yusuke confesses the only way he knows how: art. He dedicates a painting to you, and, with somehow too much and absolutely no fanfare, asks you out. The painting is definitely a lot, but he asks it so casually while you inspect the it that you might mistake his words as commentary on the art piece.

Yusuke does have a favorite date spot—and it's not an art museum or gallery. While he does like taking you to art galleries, but he see the place as more casual than romantic, since the conversation always revolves around the art. His absolute favorite date spot is the boat rides at Inokashira Park: when there is nothing but the tranquility of the water and you.

If you're a Phantom Thief, Yusuke loves watching you fight. You constantly see him framing you with his hands. If you ever ask him what he's doing, he'll simply smile and say: "Ah, I was just thinking about what a beautiful painting this would make," completely casually.

Yusuke really only has two things on his mind at all times: art and you. He hopes to, one day, create a painting of you that can effect people just like how the Sayuri affected him; to capture your eyes, your face, your body—your beauty—just right so that the world might understand exactly how he views you.

Hi, thanks for asking! Well, here's the barebones of the AU:

It's a Shuake-centric AU named Fireflies In A Jar. It's essentially a "Akechi heals" AU. It's a mix of the vanilla storyline and Royal storyline.

Essentially, Akira decides to stay in Tokyo after defeating Maruki. He mainly stayed for the Thieves....and Akechi.

See, because the Akechi he saw in Maruki's reality was the real Akechi. He survived. And he wanted to run away from society....from Akira.

Akira (bless him) tries to help Akechi heal properly from Shido's abuse. So the rest of the Phantom Thieves assist as well, but from a distance.

I don't really have headcanons for this AU, but I do have one headcanon for P5 that I hold near to my heart. My hc is that the Metaverse actually affects the PTs in reality, either obviously or subtlety. Like:

Akira laughs like Arsene. On some occasions, he even gains Arsene's wings.

Ryuji sees a pirate ship fly near his home at nights.

Ann sometimes acts like a cat. She likes to scratch Ryuji like A LOT.

Yusuke can withstand the cold (get it cuz goemon has the ice element-)

Morgana's initials are M.Z. The Z shouldn't be there, but he can't help it.

Makoto owns a motorcycle. She takes Haru and Ann for rides. She also picks up Sae from work.

Haru has her PT weapon hidden in her closet somewhere. She jokingly threatens to bring it along with her when one of her friends had their bad day caused by someone.

Since Futaba is the oracle of the group, she knows certain things beforehand. For example, when she's going to type anything on her computer, she already knows what she's going to type.

Akechi can deliberately turn himself psychotic (see; the shuake showtime), and of course he uses it to scare the Thieves. Someone accidentally stepped on his shoe? His face twitches and his eyes glow a terrifying blood red. Then he laughs and say that he's joking- just don't fucking do it again.

Sumire found glass slippers at her doorstep. She keeps them in a box so they don't break.
