Thoughts on Mammon being a bird dad?

Like there isn't a doubt in my mind he names them all. From cool names like Gucci to names of an object, like Rocky because he saw a rock on the ground... he's running out of names

omg i could go on all day about bird dad Mammon! He definitely treats his crows like his children. I always thought it was such a cool concept for him to be able to communicate with them (since they are his familiars... in my mind at least!)

But here's some of my personal headcanons/thoughts:

I imagine that when Mammon first enters the Devildom, he spots a crow sitting on the fence as they are leaving the Demon Castle for the first time.

Then all of a sudden more keep landing and he keeps hearing voices calling out to him and his brothers.

"H-Hey uh, do you guys hear that too?"

The brothers shoot him weird glances since they think he's crazy, and for a second he thinks he's also losing his mind.

Then all of a sudden he realizes the birds are talking to him.

Beckoning him over to the fence.

It's like they immediately knew who he was.

Mammon hesitantly walked over to them, instinct telling him to hold out an arm.

One gently lands on him, looking directly into Mammon's golden gaze.

It speaks words that only he can understand, leaving his brothers visibly confused.

Mammon starts forming relationships with the birds, giving them gifts and getting things back in return.

There's a tree outside of Mammon's window that has the perfect branch that extends right past his bedroom window, so the crows often perch outside and tap on the window when they return home.

They like to bring him things like buttons, bells, stones, rings, etc.

They'll even bring him Grimm that they find laying around on the streets.

Mammon is very quick to return to his bedroom after RAD to see what gifts that they brought him.

He also keeps all of the feathers that the crows leave behind. He has a collection.

He always gets something to bring back for his crows too, like a shiny rock or a Demonus bottle cap he found or maybe some leftover snacks from the RAD cafeteria.

Mammon usually has peanuts or something in his pockets, and Lucifer gets very annoyed on laundry day (if he forgets to give them to his crows lol)

As far as naming them, i feel like you are absolutely right lol he definitely has them named after luxury brands like Gucci or Louis Vuitton or something 💀

He would also totally name them by the first ever gifts they brought him! So Rocky is 100% a possibility he's so cute omg.

Maybe he isn't too good at coming up with names sometimes so he has MC help him name them too because new crows will come along 💕 (baby crows perhaps?!)

He basically has his own personal little army of crows. He commands them and they listen and do favors for him, but he also takes care of them too in return.

If one returns injured, he will personally see to nursing it back to health!

He definitely takes his dad/grandpa responsibilities seriously. 😂

Flowers and Mammon

ahh this was so cute i hope you enjoy!!

“hey, mc,” mammon calls, striding up to you in the lunchroom at rad. you turn, pausing your conversation with simeon.

“what’s up?” he fidgets a little, hands hidden behind his back, and you start to get a little suspicious.

“you like flowers, right?”

“i do,” you say slowly. “why?”

in one swift movement he thirsts his arms out, holding working in front of your face. “i saw these whole out and thought you might- i mean, i wasn’t thinking of you. anyway! here!”

i you take the box and realize it’s one of those lego flower sets. “thank you,” you say, but he’s already disappearing into the throngs of people. “hey, mammon!” you call, and he pauses, half-turning. “want to build them with me later?”

21. Art styles nothing like your own but you like anyways?

i really adore valorant's art style.. but more specifically the one who does the key art for the agents and acts. their art is so sexy

in general i adore painting styles w/ like a lot of visible brush strokes??? idk if that makes sense but it feels more genuine to me, like it's not that polished but that's what makes it better

Short Fic Request

This is going to be easy like a Sunday morning. 😅 (I'm sorry I had to make that reference!!)

Mammon X OC! Liam. No warning necessary. It's all fluffy fluff 💕💕

Something is tickling The Great Mammon's nose. He smacks the annoyance, and immediately regrets his stupidity when his hand connects with Liam's head.

"Um ow, that's my head you're smacking." Liam's irritated sleepy voice fills Mammon's ears and he's glad Liam's head still remains on his chest. He's embarrassed at the blush that dons his cheeks. How could he forget he'd snuck into Liam's bed last night!

"M'sorry! Your hair was ticklin' my nose. I-I thought it was a bug." Mammon says, trying to explain away his blunder and hoping he hasn't ruined the mood.

"Oh so I resemble a bug now do I? That's nice, is it at least a cool bug? Like do I eat the heads off my mates like a praying mantis or am I pretty like a butterfly?" Mammon can hear the smile in Liam's response, phew! He hasn't blown it.

"Hhhmm I'd say more like a pretty butterfly I reckon, the thought of ya eatin' my head freaks me out!" He wraps his arm around Liam's side and pulls him close, his other hand rests on Liam's head pressing it into his chest as he leans down to give those brown curls a kiss.

"So you think I'm pretty? Good answer, I was worried I'd have to cut off your head." Liam laughs and slides his hands up Mammon's side.

"Shuddup, ya know I do! And as if ya could! I'm stronger than ya, silly human." He scoffs and grabs Liam's hand thats caressing his side and intertwines their fingers.

"You think so?" Liam asks he tightens his grip on Mammon's hand. Squeezing it and forcing his wrist back. Does his little human want to play a game of mercy? It's cute he thinks he could win.

Mammon squeezes Liam's smaller hand just a little bit before he easily drags Liam's hand up to his lips.

"I know so." He whispers against the back of Liam's hand before kissing it softly. A little sigh escapes Liam's lips at the contact and he snuggles further into Mammon's side. It makes a smile appear on the greedy demon's lips. He's decided he could get used to this; waking up beside his human.

"This is nice, maybe you should sneak in more often." Liam's words echo Mammon's thoughts, like usual they are on the same page.

You Look So Cozy

Shivering, Shae breathes a puff of hot air into her hands in an attempt to warm them. Even the thick wool of her gloves isn't enough to keep out the bite of the cold, winter air of the Devildom. They had just gotten dinner at Hell's Kitchen, and despite having a full stomach she was no where near warm. "You doin' alright, Shae?" Mammon asks, guiding her down the snowy streets of Deviltown. . "Y-Yeah it's just s-so cold..." Shae said, her teeth chattering. Mammon's eyebrows furrow together as he pulls her into his side. He knew Devildom winters were pretty extreme compared to what Shae was probably used to. "Don't ya worry, the Great Mammon will keep ya warm until we make it home!" Shae giggles, leaning into him as they made their way back to the House of Lamentation.

The warmth of the house welcomes them with a cozy embrace as they wander through the doors. Shae sighs, feeling herself begin to thaw out almost immediately. "I've never been so cold in my life." She mumbles, stripping off her jacket. Mammon chuckles, plucking Shae's hat off of her head, leaving her raven black hair tousled and messy. "Ugh, Mams, why-" but her words are silenced as his lips meet hers. "Cause you are just so damned cute, ya know? I can't help it." Shae blushes, leaning in to bury her face into his chest. "Well you don't have to mess up my hair." Mammon laughs, reaching his hand up to mess up her hair even more. "Go get into something comfy and meet me in the living room, I'll get us something warm to drink."

Shae makes her way to her room, slipping out of her cold, damp clothing. She pulls on a pair of leggings, along with one of Mammon's hoodies she had kept after she had asked to "borrow" it one day. Lastly, she pulls on a pair of fuzzy socks, hoping that they will help bring feeling back to her toes. Grabbing her blanket off of her bed, she hurries back down the hall to claim her spot on the couch in front of the fireplace. Snuggling down in her blanket, she waits patiently for Mammon.

Her eyes begin to droop as her body relaxes, finally feeling warm again from the fire. "Oi, you ain't gonna fall asleep on me already, are ya?" Mammon's voice startles her, causing her eyes to shoot open. He's standing above her, staring at her over the back of the couch as he holds a mug in each hand. She notices he's also changed into a pair of sweatpants and a t shirt. Shaking her head, Shae pulls the blanket up past her nose, attempting to hide the blush that she's pretty sure has formed on her cheeks. "Of course not, I was just bored waiting for you!" Mammon chuckles, his golden gaze shining down at her with adoration. "You look so cozy." Shae reaches a hand out from under the blanket to pat the vacant spot next to her. "Then come join me?" The white haired demon doesn't hesitate as he sets the mugs of tea down on the coffee table. He slides comfortably onto the couch next to her, his arms instinctively wrapping themselves around her. Shae sighs softly as he gently pulls her into his familiar embrace. "I love you, Mams." She murmurs, resting her head against his chest. Mammon hums, leaning in to press a kiss against her forehead. Shae's heart flutters in her chest as she feels his lips form into a slow grin. "Now don't go tellin' anyone or anything but uh...I love ya too."

I was gonna have it be a tiny blurb but that didn't happen, hope this helps ya feel better🫂💜

At night with Levi would include marathon watching anime you two have watched through many times and loved. Both on your DDD's letting the show be soft background noise in the dimly lit room with the fish tank and TV being the only sources of light.

Your both all cozy in his pillow covered bathtub cuddling. With Levi it's a mix between him being the one held and holding you. Tonight he's hugging you close, he still has a strong blush on from his cheeks to ears, no matter how long you've been dating.

He might still go on his phone to do dailies in one of his games to calm his nerves. While he's doing that his human form loses its hold but slightly, his tail unconsciously wraps gently around your ankle, causing the blush to become a tad more strong.

You notice this, out of mercy you don't tease him about this tonight, but you quietly watch him while pretending to be focused on your DDD, you try your best to not let your smile grow too big or giggle become more than a noise exhale.

25. common fandom complaint that you're sick of hearing

"oh, so-and-so is getting too much attention! (cough couch lucifer)" idk to me it just makes sense that he's centered (and while i will agree he is more so than the others, i don't think it goes as far as some argue) because he's the oldest and actually pushed the hardest as a love interest (yes you can argue that that's because he's centered more-it's a catch 22 or wtv). i think it should be expected that he gets more attention and while you can personally not like it or disagree with it on principle, it's not some big awful thing, or something to cancel the devs for lol
