i still think a lot about how technically, it's implied Anubis and Walt started dating each other before they asked out Sadie, and if Sadie had said she wasn't interested they would have gone "Entirely fair have a nice day" and proceed to just go continue to date each other.

Cause like, that was the entire thing. They decided that themselves. That things would work best if they were together (as in both physically sharing a body and also relationship-wise). The "asking Sadie about it" part was secondary. If she had said no, they would have stayed together, because among other things Walt would kind of die if they didn't. Walt and Anubis are technically the first gay couple in the Riordanverse. AND they're in a polyamorous relationship with Sadie. Why does no one talk about them ever.

(FROM A REBLOG I MADE): I also think you guys are misunderstanding the fact that without IWTV there would BE no Buffy so through that, you have to be voting for the one that changed/transformed culture the most, also the person talking about the first lesbian scene on TV is also forgetting that Anne Rice was writing bisexual/gay vampires in 1976. I'm upset to hear that so many of you are voting for things that you only like, especially the Buffy fans that are doing so without consideration.

These reasons (and more) are meant to be considered before you make a final decision, and I truly think that some of you are not looking at the bigger, overarching picture.

Take a moment to think and then decide, you cannot keep blindly voting because you "like one of them more".

I am 100 % sure that in TWP we will get a scene where Ty has to defect from the scholomance on his own side mission and Anush is with him and Ty tells Anush “it’s ok you can stay/go back, you don’t have to take this risk” bc Ty has abandonment issues !! And he doesn’t expect a friend to stick around. But then Anush has a confused reaction to this bc “of course I’m coming, I’m not letting you face this alone” and then Ty is confused bc this whole time he didn’t want to assume that him and Anush were really friends as they could just be schoolmates/coworkers out of necessity— so Ty doesn’t expect Anush to want to follow him outside scholomance stuff especially bc Ty has never had a real friend outside of his family and even Kit as soon as he stopped living with the Blackthorn’s he stopped talking to Ty so Ty doesn’t expect Anush to want to support him and so Ty asks “why would you want to come with me?” And Anush answers “because we’re friends Ty, and I’m not going to leave you.”

reading tftsa is always an emotional experience especially when you get the short stories focused around the Blackthorns because the absence of Mark just bleeds out. like when you read about Julian being Helen's suggenes and Simon being the witness to Julian's parabatai ceremony you are just burdened with the knowledge that that's not who they would have picked if the circumstances were different. in a different life it was Mark.
