when i watched season one of house i saw house and wilson interact here and there and i was like oh okay. they could be gay i guess. in a plausibly deniable way. But um. late seasons hilson feels like repeatedly getting hit over the head with a bat and when you finally come to you're lying on the ground watching as the blurry vague silhouettes of house and wilson make out over your lifeless body

Yamato asking Ace if he wants to call it a night and Ace instantly, without any hesitation, going "no, of course not, how could I EVER say that when we only have this night to be together?" makes me melt every time. And the way Yamato starts giggling and kicking his feet? The way his eyes shine at Ace's words? Like, "he actually wants to spend the night with me!!!". This is the most teenage romance thing I've ever seen. These two guys were in love.

After getting treated like royalty with Good Omens and Our Flag Means Death in terms of queer rep, one really needs to remember to apply their clown make-up when watching shows like Loki and shipping Lokius.

the idea that there can only be one queer person (+ an outside love interest) in tv shows/movies is so stupid and unrealistic
like besties,,,, we flock like ducks
if there’s one, there’s another ten
in the last seven years of my life (age 12-19) my best friend (at the time) came out and there was like a ripple effect, now i’m a lesbian and friends w more queer people than cishet people
i was gonna say i need a show with a Token Straight Friend™️ but that’s literally tao in heartstopper

i was fighting for my life the first time i watched the c word and i witnessed gregory ‘displays genuine affection about twice throughout the entire show’ house lovingly and earnestly run his hand through james ‘the only person he’s ever truly loved’ wilson’s hair and i to this day have still not recovered it haunts me in my sleep it is imprinted onto my eyelids

Can't believe there was a time when we fought for our LIVES to prove that there's a chance that Will might be gay and THEN we had the audacity to say that he might have feelings for his best friend and that's CANON now

i know it's not technically their fault if they haven't watched it (and been in the trenches) but the ppl saying 'oh that show seemed so hetero i didn't think anything would happen' as if henrietta and karen wilson thee power lesbian couple who have had SEVERAL MAIN PLOTLINES weren't there since day ONE. get serious ppl

I’m a little sad that people getting into Rwby now because of the bees will not get to experience it the same way as those of us who’ve been in the trenches since the beginning, but at the same time I’m glad they won’t have to put up with the uncertainty and the absolutely unhinged fandom culture that it unleashed. Because truly the way people were at each other’s throats over this was a sight to behold.
