this is my stranger things day special drawing, its supposed to be mike during the time when will was in california and he's just not happy lol :,)

i couldn't add as many lil easter eggs and references as i like to do because i was using his exact room that's shown in s4 as a reference but that room had enough easter eggs in itself 😭😭 ofc there's the one way sign pointing to the closet like can it get more obvious, there's the two posters of buff men compared to when we see the rooms of steve or lucas we see women on the walls because we know they like women, there's the yellow towel?? i think its a towel and the blue tie hanging on the wardrobe, and i added the blue backpack in the corner with the yellow letter like pocket just because i absolutely adore the -love, mike letter theory :))

and this ones a bit more vague and doesn't really mean much but i added the blue shirt half covering the light in the background, kinda to show mike trying to hide his true self and not letting his real feelings shine, but the light is slowly being unveiled

i managed to find some motivation deep down to make fanart :D this is supposed to be them in s5 in a sort of apocalypse mode

this is my first fanart so i wanted to go go all out with the details so these are some lil things i added:

ofc i made mike have more blue tones and will more yellow tones, i even used a blue and yellow overlay at the end, but i added small hints of green to show they might get closer in s5

I gave them goggles to reference s2 when mike, max, dustin, steve and lucas wore scarfs and goggles for protection and for a more apocalypse vibe to suit what s5 will most likely be like, but i made will's goggles blue and mike's goggles yellow to sort of symbolise that they are on eachother's minds lol

lil paint stains on wills trousers and i made them look a bit long to make it look like he maybe got them from jonathan

obviously they both have headphones with their favourite music ready in case they get vecna'd

they both have blue plaid patches to show that they probably both ripped their clothing during some epic scene and they stitched their clothes up with the same cloth

mike has a green triangle patch pointing at will lol and i made a lot of triangle imagery as well

will's painting in his green bag

mike has a small town boy shirt

will has more blue in his clothing than mike has yellow, which i thought could be because will is probably borrowing mikes clothing since most his clothes are in cali

and lastly this one is a bit vague but if you know flickergate then you know the importance of mike's backpack and i added one yellow pocket that looked like a letter to show that the letter is in there

and thatss about it hope you guys like it and dont think im crazy :)
