How about this veggie-loaded ORZO GREEK SALAD 🍅🥗🥒 along with an easy, DIY bone broth🍲 Grab the delicious deets below👇🏼👇🏼by @thedishonhealthy Follow us @ketodietplanster for more . . For the nourishing bone broth 🍲👌🏼 1 whole organic chicken. Rotisserie works! 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar 2-3 bay leaves 🍃 2 celery stalks, chopped (veins removed) 2 large organic carrots, chopped🥕 2 white onions, chopped ~8-9 cups of water 💦  1/2 tsp of sea salt (or more, to taste!)🧂 1/4 tsp of ground pepper 3 cloves of garlic, finely minced . Instructions: in a large stock pot, add the entire chicken carcass; remove all white & dark meat. Throw in all of the ingredients- except for salt and pepper. Bring everything to a boil and then reduce heat to med/low and simmer (covered w/ a lid) for 2.5 hours. It will thicken nicely. Use a strainer to filter only the broth into a containers or tup & stir in the sea salt and pepper. .  For the Orzo Greek Salad 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Vinaigrette 👇🏼 3/4 cup of good quality olive oil 1/4 cup white wine vinegar  1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice 🍋 1 teaspoon of dried oregano 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt🧂  1/2 teaspoon minced organic garlic 1 tablespoon of dried parsley🌿 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper 2 teaspoons of raw honey or agave . The Greek salad has 4 cups of cold, but cooked orzo (I cooked mine in bone broth, recipe above!!🍲👌🏼🙃), 1 cup finely chopped bell peppers in every color, 1.5 cups of halved cherry tomatoes, 1.5 cups of diced cucumbers, & 1 cup of creamy feta chunks, I always buy goat feta. Have you spent so many times getting ready for a night out, and actually feel like not going???? Nothing fits, everything is tight, you don’t look or feel sexy, you feel miserable? I have in the past had so many times where I’ve actually called my “size 10” best friend and said I’m not going out and she’s arrived at my home and dragged me out as apparently there is no party without me!!! Not anymore!! OK I’m not a size 10 or a super model, but I’m a size 12 and have lost 3 stone!! And for that I am proud and I feel good getting ready. I love listening to @impacttheory daily. That quote really struck me! How many times do we exercise to the point of complete exhaustion? I’ve had a rough few days 🤦🏼‍♀️ the type of rough days that would have led to an emotional eating binge but instead of bingeing, I’ve had no appetite which is something new to me. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, not only with my weight loss but with the emotional and mental aspect as well. It’s taken some time but I feel like I’m finally in a good place, mentally. Creamed Spinach Tortellini 🤩🔥 Eat or Pass? 😋 📷: @dariuscooks 👌 Check out @ketodietplanster  for daily recipes 🍏 ---- Ingredients 🍱: 1 pound of stuffed tortellini, cooked & drained (use your fave) 2 tbsp of flour 1 1/2 cups of half & half 1/2 tsp of salt 1/2 tsp of roasted garlic powder 1/2 tsp of fresh ground black pepper 1/4 tsp of nutmeg 1 cup of parmesan cheese 4 ounces of room temperature cream cheese 1/2 cup of smoked gouda cheese 16 ounces of frozen spinach, thawed and drained a pinch of red pepper flakes - DIRECTIONS 👩‍🍳: In a saucepan, over medium heat, melt 3 tbsp butter. When the butter is melted, whisk in the flour and cook for about 90 seconds until the flour taste has cooked out. Then, add in the half and half and stir well to combine. It’s a good idea to make sure the heat is on high at this point and as soon as it starts to thicken, lower the heat back to medium. Add in all of the other ingredients except the tortellini and stir occasionally to combine well and to prevent from sticking. Once the sauce is thick, toss in the pasta and serve. - For the shrimp! 1 pound jumbo shrimp, cleaned 1 tbsp of Old Bay Seasoning 1/2 tsp of salt 1 1/2 tbsp of olive oil Toss the shrimp together with the olive oil, salt, and Old Bay. Get a skillet hot and then sauté the shrimp on both sides until they’re cooked through.
